- 0:27Speaker 4: I don't know why.
- 0:28Speaker 3: It's just like you wake up and then all of
- 0:31Speaker 3: a sudden it's time to watch country calendar and put
- 0:32Speaker 3: your wife to bed, you know what I mean? Every
- 0:34Speaker 3: day boom?
- 0:35Speaker 4: What about you? Well? Yeah, goes fast man.
- 0:39Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, you know what I mean. It's already been
- 0:41Speaker 3: three years of the show. What's that about?
- 0:43Speaker 1: That's pretty crazy, has it? Wow?
- 0:46Speaker 4: Yeah? Twenty one July twenty one was that?
- 0:49Speaker 1: Yeah, jeeze, that was a while ago, Fellas three years,
- 0:52Speaker 1: three years of our twenty year campaign and.
- 0:55Speaker 4: A lot of a lot of that in COVID.
- 0:57Speaker 3: Obviously, I still remember how nervous you guys were for
- 1:00Speaker 3: the first step, And it wasn't.
- 1:01Speaker 4: I wasn't.
- 1:02Speaker 1: I wasn't nervous.
- 1:03Speaker 4: Jace was, Jase was nervous. I wasn't. I've never been
- 1:06Speaker 4: nervous on the show.
- 1:08Speaker 3: But the funny thing was when we got in here,
- 1:10Speaker 3: I didn't actually know how to use the desk in
- 1:13Speaker 3: the first break, I didn't know how to dip the music.
- 1:15Speaker 3: But I remember you stressing out about it. No, because
- 1:18Speaker 3: when you're doing live with three people, it's a different setup.
- 1:22Speaker 4: It's just you.
- 1:24Speaker 3: I mean, like it's different, and I got in here,
- 1:26Speaker 3: I don't know what I'm doing good.
- 1:28Speaker 1: I don't recall stressing out. Maybe I was. I thought
- 1:31Speaker 1: I thought we did a really good show, because you know,
- 1:33Speaker 1: it's a lot of tension on the first of a
- 1:38Speaker 1: new kind of setup.
- 1:39Speaker 4: It was a weird thing.
- 1:41Speaker 2: I had zero ideas well, not that I didn't give
- 1:45Speaker 2: a ship, but that I just had no nerves and
- 1:48Speaker 2: no sort of thought about the audience.
- 1:50Speaker 1: Do you think it was a massage I gave you
- 1:51Speaker 1: beforehand part of it and the handy.
- 1:54Speaker 2: Yeah, And I'm glad about that because it would be
- 1:56Speaker 2: really annoying of every single day you were nervous about
- 1:58Speaker 2: a live audience.
- 2:00Speaker 1: Actually, when I first started doing radio, I was nervous
- 2:03Speaker 1: for about the first five years. Yeah, every show there
- 2:08Speaker 1: was a lot going on emotionally for me. Yeah, what's
- 2:11Speaker 1: going to happen. Yeah, and now it's now it's great.
- 2:14Speaker 1: I don't have nerves at all, because yeah, I share
- 2:18Speaker 1: a panic attacks, you know what I mean. Different, But
- 2:21Speaker 1: that's not something wrong with your brain and my heart
- 2:24Speaker 1: and my breathing. Yeah, and yeah, I know you and
- 2:26Speaker 1: Mogi will carry.
- 2:27Speaker 2: Me, carry you.
- 2:28Speaker 3: Yeah. And you know that when you walk in here,
- 2:30Speaker 3: you've been given I've written down all your jokes for
- 2:33Speaker 3: you and you can just go in and read them
- 2:34Speaker 3: off the paper and you're sweets.
- 2:36Speaker 1: You guys are like my little arm floaties in the ocean.
- 2:39Speaker 1: That's right, you know what I mean. You keep me buoyant. Yeah,
- 2:42Speaker 1: otherwise it's.
- 2:43Speaker 4: A bit flat though.
- 2:45Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm sort of sinking on one side. On one side,
- 2:49Speaker 2: I've worked out what's happening with my cough a little bit,
- 2:51Speaker 2: I think, outside of the fact that I'm still smoking cigarettes,
- 2:54Speaker 2: which is a part of it.
- 2:55Speaker 3: You're still smoking pole are.
- 2:57Speaker 2: Given an opportunity KIZI wow, Yeah, okay, But I was
- 3:03Speaker 2: on antibiotics, remember that. Yes, I completely forgot about them.
- 3:07Speaker 2: Stopped after about four days or three days, I think larynge.
- 3:11Speaker 2: It was the signing. The whole set up the middle
- 3:14Speaker 2: of that and then I just stopped so and this
- 3:16Speaker 2: morning I was like, funk, I need to get rid
- 3:18Speaker 2: of this cough. This is a fucking joke. I'm going
- 3:19Speaker 2: to go to the doctor. And then I was like,
- 3:20Speaker 2: actually didn't get Did I finish that?
- 3:23Speaker 3: No?
- 3:23Speaker 4: I didn't. Yeah, so you don't like that.
- 3:25Speaker 1: They don't like doctors don't like that, Maggie.
- 3:27Speaker 3: But he stopped antibiotics and vegetables all together.
- 3:32Speaker 1: At some point that day.
- 3:34Speaker 2: I started vegetables right, and fruits. But yeah, so that'll
- 3:39Speaker 2: be it. That'll be it. So I've got to get
- 3:40Speaker 2: back on those. That'll sort. Yeah, but pregnant zone and
- 3:44Speaker 2: some antibiotics. Good stuff, good stuff, man, So good is
- 3:49Speaker 2: the best.
- 3:51Speaker 1: This is the weird thing, not that I'm aware of.
- 3:54Speaker 1: I'm not. I don't have a cough.
- 3:57Speaker 4: You're very good for somebody who smoked, as long as
- 3:58Speaker 4: you do.
- 3:59Speaker 1: Exactly, you know, like I remember my stepmother who was a.
- 4:05Speaker 4: Smoker and still is just inclining that anywhere.
- 4:08Speaker 3: She had a real dollop of a smoke.
- 4:10Speaker 1: And you know, she had a good morning hack. You
- 4:13Speaker 1: know smokers had that morning hack. Yeah, I've never sort
- 4:15Speaker 1: of had that.
- 4:16Speaker 4: That's great.
- 4:17Speaker 1: I'm sure my time will come.
- 4:20Speaker 2: Sort of feels like if it hasn't happened by now,
- 4:22Speaker 2: it won't. Yeah, thirty plus years of smoking. Were you
- 4:26Speaker 2: smoking when you were thirteen?
- 4:28Speaker 4: Probably?
- 4:29Speaker 1: Yeah? Yeah I was. That was pretty hard core.
- 4:32Speaker 4: Kies Were you actually twelve?
- 4:35Speaker 2: No?
- 4:35Speaker 4: I think by firstgree at twelve?
- 4:38Speaker 1: Yeah, I would have had my first one at twelve,
- 4:40Speaker 1: but I on a regular basis. But when I say regular,
- 4:43Speaker 1: I mean like two a day, probably when I was
- 4:47Speaker 1: about fifteen sixteen, crazy behind the old dear cricket nets
- 4:51Speaker 1: there up on the mountain.
- 4:53Speaker 2: So cool and are you still cool? And I want
- 4:55Speaker 2: to see through cricket nets.
- 4:57Speaker 1: I used to freak out every time that I had
- 4:59Speaker 1: can immediately I had a cigarette, and I remember saying
- 5:02Speaker 1: to my mate, you didn't I have cancer after that,
- 5:04Speaker 1: and he'd be like, well, after one fucking cigarette.
- 5:07Speaker 3: Hoids, But that is how her kid's brain works, are
- 5:09Speaker 3: you thinks continues to.
- 5:12Speaker 1: Got that's how my brain works. And now you know,
- 5:16Speaker 1: like fifty millions going to be the one later. Yeah,
- 5:19Speaker 1: that's it, man, this is my last fucking package.
- 5:21Speaker 4: Good jo.
- 5:22Speaker 1: I'm just not doing it anymore.
- 5:24Speaker 3: Yeah, I support you.
- 5:26Speaker 1: Just got sort a few things out.
- 5:30Speaker 2: That was quick yeah, the whole Arky Big Show one
- 5:34Speaker 2: days from four on radio Hururarchy, remember the Wracky Big
- 5:39Speaker 2: Show podcast.
- 5:40Speaker 1: Hopefully going to buy some gold clubs this week in.
- 5:42Speaker 3: Well, yesterday was the two week point since he promised
- 5:45Speaker 3: one thousand dollars to each of us.
- 5:46Speaker 4: Thank you good because you told him that.
- 5:48Speaker 1: I was gonna ask you, fellows, when's my cut off here?
- 5:51Speaker 1: Because that is playing on. When I told my wife
- 5:55Speaker 1: about that she was just wealthy, you're still fucking more?
- 6:00Speaker 3: Would be there two weeks to get golf clubs which
- 6:02Speaker 3: you want.
- 6:03Speaker 1: I had to put myself under pressure, and that was
- 6:06Speaker 1: to say, I'll give you each your grand if I
- 6:07Speaker 1: don't buy golf clubs.
- 6:08Speaker 3: You in this that you and buying golf club reminds
- 6:11Speaker 3: me of me in studying.
- 6:12Speaker 4: I wouldn't have taken money. I would have just been
- 6:14Speaker 4: happy that you were wrong.
- 6:15Speaker 3: I would have taken it and I would have bought
- 6:17Speaker 3: something like a chain that I would wear every day
- 6:19Speaker 3: and be like.
- 6:20Speaker 1: See, Actually, I put a question on the chat today
- 6:24Speaker 1: because I saw really nice said of women's golf clubs,
- 6:27Speaker 1: would they be all right? They'd be right, wouldn't they?
- 6:29Speaker 1: I mean, how do they? I mean what's the difference
- 6:31Speaker 1: between a women's club and a men's club.
- 6:36Speaker 3: So usually the women's clubs are a bit flexier, so
- 6:40Speaker 3: that because they traditionally can't hit it swing it as
- 6:43Speaker 3: hard to the more flex you know, it adds street.
- 6:47Speaker 3: But if you're a bloke, but to be honest, you
- 6:49Speaker 3: it sounds perfect for me. You won't swing very hard anyway,
- 6:51Speaker 3: I don't think.
- 6:52Speaker 1: Yeah, that's what I mean.
- 6:52Speaker 3: Yeah, so a flexier shaft is probably what you want.
- 6:57Speaker 1: Why did you look at me like that when you
- 6:58Speaker 1: said a flexier sh.
- 7:00Speaker 3: You know, you know what?
- 7:02Speaker 1: But yeah, kind of creep me out a little bit.
- 7:04Speaker 3: Just just just going by any scent of clubs you got.
- 7:08Speaker 1: Really hood, did you know Margie Keesey's been at the
- 7:12Speaker 1: old Bloody Empire all afternoon.
- 7:14Speaker 4: On the hammer and now trying to sober up with
- 7:16Speaker 4: some mistant coffee.
- 7:17Speaker 1: And just stuffing his gold with chippies.
- 7:21Speaker 4: Well, quite a few differences here. Just googling. I was
- 7:25Speaker 4: just I was intrigued to the length of the club.
- 7:28Speaker 1: Yeah, that'll suit me. The weight of the club, that'll
- 7:31Speaker 1: suit me.
- 7:31Speaker 2: The shaft flexibility, yeah, the club, the head design right,
- 7:37Speaker 2: with bigger sweet spots and higher lofts.
- 7:40Speaker 1: This is all good for me.
- 7:41Speaker 2: Tick tick tech grip size and visual design. They're all pink.
- 7:50Speaker 1: That's all right.
- 7:51Speaker 4: Nothing all with that.
- 7:52Speaker 1: Sam supporting a charity?
- 7:55Speaker 3: No, just have a pink club. Why do you have
- 7:56Speaker 3: to say you're supporting a charity.
- 7:58Speaker 1: Yeah, that's true. I got to own it if I'm
- 7:59Speaker 1: want to have pink clubs might clash with my my.
- 8:05Speaker 3: I played around of golf with my mother in law's
- 8:07Speaker 3: clubs that pink and they're like, you know, done a
- 8:09Speaker 3: lot for women or some ship that old airs, But
- 8:11Speaker 3: they were sweet. I think I shot like seventy.
- 8:14Speaker 1: Something bullshit keys.
- 8:16Speaker 3: It was a nightholder though, But.
- 8:19Speaker 1: Just get anything. Don't you worry about that? What are
- 8:26Speaker 1: you freaking out about?
- 8:28Speaker 3: Don't you worry about it? Is what you said, and
- 8:29Speaker 3: I'm like, I'm freaking O. What are you guys doing
- 8:31Speaker 3: this weekend?
- 8:33Speaker 1: I'm going to Matakana Markets tomorrow with my wife there
- 8:40Speaker 1: in Madicana, hopefully meeting my mother in law up there
- 8:42Speaker 1: as well.
- 8:44Speaker 2: Uh.
- 8:45Speaker 1: Then Sunday we've got something on as well. I can't
- 8:48Speaker 1: remember what it was. God, it's doing my head in
- 8:49Speaker 1: this ship.
- 8:50Speaker 4: Was it something?
- 8:51Speaker 1: What?
- 8:51Speaker 3: No?
- 8:53Speaker 1: No, are you going to try and fix it now.
- 8:55Speaker 3: It was like, why don't you run a calendar on
- 8:56Speaker 3: your things change all the time, that.
- 9:03Speaker 1: We've got something on Sunday. But that's all good. It's
- 9:05Speaker 1: nothing made you. I don't think.
- 9:07Speaker 3: Like I got up this morning and I don't know
- 9:09Speaker 3: where my wife was because she's went on the tracker,
- 9:12Speaker 3: and I head up the tracker and I could see
- 9:14Speaker 3: she was in Green Bay, and I was like, oh,
- 9:16Speaker 3: she's got a dentist appointment. I looked at our yeah,
- 9:19Speaker 3: our calendar there, and then I said, oh, I've got
- 9:22Speaker 3: a haircut at nine thirty. Oh, so you know it's
- 9:24Speaker 3: all now.
- 9:25Speaker 4: I made that.
- 9:26Speaker 3: I would have missed it that I made the haircut.
- 9:29Speaker 4: You have you noticed it? No?
- 9:33Speaker 1: It just looks the same, does it? Yeah?
- 9:35Speaker 2: Man?
- 9:36Speaker 3: Shit, it looks it looks awesome. And I'm stoked about
- 9:39Speaker 3: I actually am.
- 9:40Speaker 1: Is that a fade? Is that a phase?
- 9:43Speaker 3: It's a two fade because if you go one fade,
- 9:46Speaker 3: it fades down to skin level. Yes, it's way too
- 9:48Speaker 3: skucks And you walk in here and everyone gives you
- 9:50Speaker 3: a shit about it. Oh hey, yeah, here he is.
- 9:53Speaker 1: I walk in here and everyone gives me shit about everything.
- 9:55Speaker 1: Every anyway, what does it matter.
- 9:57Speaker 3: I don't want to take the heat off jays, so
- 9:59Speaker 3: you just get two fade a little bit long on
- 10:01Speaker 3: top goodness go.
- 10:02Speaker 4: Yeah, beautiful.
- 10:03Speaker 2: I can't because I'm filming. So I'm going to a
- 10:05Speaker 2: play tomorrow night. Yeah, yes, I'm going to do. I've
- 10:10Speaker 2: forgot no idea, absolutely no idea. And then other than that,
- 10:14Speaker 2: I might just go for some walks. I think I'm
- 10:17Speaker 2: going to bring some walks into my life.
- 10:19Speaker 1: I hang on, I.
- 10:20Speaker 2: Do, yeah, but I feel like I should be going
- 10:23Speaker 2: out and going to the walks out you know, there's
- 10:24Speaker 2: a waterfall out pi Ha or somewhere, you like, it's
- 10:28Speaker 2: anice stuff like that, and taking the kid out and
- 10:32Speaker 2: stuff like that.
- 10:33Speaker 4: Exactly.
- 10:34Speaker 2: I need to just start doing that out of the
- 10:38Speaker 2: house because otherwise it's very much I'm in here, I'm
- 10:40Speaker 2: in the office and I'm at my home. Yes, there's
- 10:42Speaker 2: not much variation on that day and week to week.
- 10:45Speaker 1: Well that's why, you know, like we're going to mad
- 10:47Speaker 1: Kana and stuff, and there's I love up North, I
- 10:50Speaker 1: love walk beyond, walk with Omaha, all those areas. I'm
- 10:54Speaker 1: going to just start fishing and ship up there because
- 10:55Speaker 1: it's not that far away anymore, right, it's only about
- 10:58Speaker 1: an hour's drive.
- 10:59Speaker 3: A lot of wealth up there, Yeah, there is.
- 11:00Speaker 4: A lot of wealth, well, well wealth. And I'm going
- 11:05Speaker 4: to watch a rugby.
- 11:10Speaker 2: And I want to watch the Warriors versus the Panthers
- 11:13Speaker 2: and the elimination final tomorrow afternoon at one o'clock. I'm
- 11:16Speaker 2: not sure if that's one o'clock, the three o'clock here
- 11:19Speaker 2: or what is that? That the new South Wales club.
- 11:22Speaker 2: It's a grade below. Okay, great for our development mate,
- 11:26Speaker 2: fourth versus fifth, it's going to be a goodie, going
- 11:30Speaker 2: to be a goodie.
- 11:31Speaker 4: But yeah, I don't know, I just really actually I'm
- 11:33Speaker 4: going to have a sauna.
- 11:34Speaker 1: Can Can the Warriors use players from their.
- 11:38Speaker 4: Top team for that only if they've already played.
- 11:40Speaker 1: In the competition, even if it's just once.
- 11:44Speaker 4: I'm not sure.
- 11:45Speaker 3: I think usually this rule is like three games minimum
- 11:47Speaker 3: or something, right.
- 11:48Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't know. We have had a very strong
- 11:53Speaker 2: team this year, so that it'll be good watch that
- 11:58Speaker 2: they'll get pammed. Yeah, yeah, yeah, good South New Zealand.
- 12:05Speaker 2: I am glad for this weekend. I've got to say I'm.
- 12:08Speaker 1: Glad for every week.
- 12:08Speaker 4: It's been a long run.
- 12:09Speaker 2: Name when the last time we had a break like
- 12:13Speaker 2: April or early May.
- 12:15Speaker 1: I went to.
- 12:15Speaker 3: Bali and do did do doo dooh listen to the
- 12:21Speaker 3: Hudack you Big show. Fort'll semon every weekday. It's so great.
- 12:23Speaker 1: Thanks mate,
