Thunder Extend Barnhizer on Two-Way Deal | Oklahoma City Thunder News
The Oklahoma City Thunder just handed Brooks Barnhizer a qualifying offer, making him a restricted free agent — a surprising move for a player who barely cracked the stat sheet last year. Despite averaging just 1.7 points and 2 rebounds in 40 games, mostly spent with the OKC Blue, the Thunder are keeping their doors open to bring him back on a two-way deal. He’ll likely join rookies Josh Dix and Otega Oweh on the two-way roster, giving the team flexibility to develop talent while staying lean on the roster.
