0:01
Speaker 1: Welcome.
0:01
Speaker 2: It is Verdic with Center, Ted Cruz, Ben Ferguson with you.
0:04
Speaker 2: It's so nice to have you with us around the country.
0:06
Speaker 2: And before we even start, can we just say thank
0:08
Speaker 2: you for all of you that listen to show, and
0:10
Speaker 2: if you would do us a favor, rite us a
0:12
Speaker 2: five star review and share this podcast wherever you can
0:16
Speaker 2: on social media. It makes a massive difference to other
0:19
Speaker 2: people seeing this show. So with that being said, first off,
0:21
Speaker 2: thank you for that, thank you for listening and getting involved. Center,
0:24
Speaker 2: we've got Kamala Harris saying out loud what the future
0:28
Speaker 2: of the Democratic Party is all about.
0:30
Speaker 1: If you'll just let them have control of the house
0:32
Speaker 1: in the Senate.
0:33
Speaker 3: Well, it's Democrats gone wild. If you remember those those
0:38
Speaker 3: spring break ads that would feature a bunch of scantily
0:42
Speaker 3: clad young ladies on the beach, running around getting into trouble, Well,
0:47
Speaker 3: that sadly is the state of the current Democrat Party.
0:50
Speaker 3: They are at Fort Lauderdale, they are chugging beers, they
0:54
Speaker 3: are in a panic.
0:56
Speaker 4: And it really is quite striking.
0:57
Speaker 3: So six weeks ago, the Democrats were supreme in their confidence.
1:03
Speaker 3: They knew that they hated Donald J.
1:05
Speaker 4: Trump.
1:06
Speaker 3: They believe the American people were gonna rise up in
1:09
Speaker 3: a giant repudiation, a giant roar of orange man bad.
1:14
Speaker 3: And then suddenly a funny thing happened on the way
1:16
Speaker 3: to the office, And the numbers are not backing up
1:20
Speaker 3: what the Democrats hoped. In particular, they're redistricting plans to
1:23
Speaker 3: try to steal seats and get a majority of the
1:27
Speaker 3: House of Representatives by dramatically gerrymandering blue states that crashed
1:33
Speaker 3: to the ground and failed mightily.
1:36
Speaker 4: And now what we're seeing is really quite amazing.
1:40
Speaker 3: At the same time, in California, they're looking at the
1:43
Speaker 3: very real possibility that a Republican governor will be elected
1:47
Speaker 3: in California. In fact, we could see a scenario where
1:51
Speaker 3: the only two people who make the runoff are both Republicans.
1:54
Speaker 3: That has California Democrats freaking out. We're gonna break it
1:58
Speaker 3: all down, but we're gonna start with our favorite someone
2:01
Speaker 3: who told us to use our own words. There are
2:04
Speaker 3: a lot of people saying she was the most qualified
2:08
Speaker 3: person ever to run for president of the United States.
2:13
Speaker 3: You know, Kamala I will say this. She has insights
2:15
Speaker 3: no other human being on planet Earth has because out
2:18
Speaker 3: of eight billion people. That idea did not occur to
2:22
Speaker 3: anyone else other than Yessa. But Kamala now is promising
2:28
Speaker 3: if the Democrats win a nice, quiet, middle of the
2:34
Speaker 3: road moderate agenda.
2:35
Speaker 4: Here, give a listen.
2:36
Speaker 2: Yeah, it truly is amazing. We're to play that in
2:38
Speaker 2: a moment. But before we get to that, if you
2:40
Speaker 2: have a dog and you love your dog as much
2:42
Speaker 2: as I love our new puppy, Birdie, then you need
2:45
Speaker 2: to check out what rough greens can do for the
2:47
Speaker 2: quality of your dog's life.
2:49
Speaker 1: It is incredible.
2:50
Speaker 2: After we saw what happened with our older dog, Memphis,
2:54
Speaker 2: we realize why wait until the dog's older. Why not
2:57
Speaker 2: give rough greens right now to a little and we
3:01
Speaker 2: know what it does. It supports long term health by
3:04
Speaker 2: providing live, bioavailable nutrients including essential vitamins, minerals, probiotics, digestive enzymes,
3:11
Speaker 2: and omega oils. Now the ingredients they work together to
3:15
Speaker 2: improve nutrition absorption, also help Birdie maintain joint and muscle
3:19
Speaker 2: health as she grows, and enhance her overall vitality. Now
3:24
Speaker 2: we care about Birdie's longevity. We've already lost two dogs
3:29
Speaker 2: unfortunately when they got older, and this is a way
3:31
Speaker 2: we can do everything we can to keep Birdie around
3:34
Speaker 2: as long as possible. Now, there are deficiencies found in
3:38
Speaker 2: processed dog food, but rough Greens it supplements your dog
3:42
Speaker 2: or your puppies diet with natural intioxidants and anti inflammatory
3:47
Speaker 2: compounds that help reduce oxidative stress, support immune defense as well,
3:52
Speaker 2: and slow age related to cline. That's what we love
3:56
Speaker 2: the most. Now it's easy. You're not buying new food.
3:59
Speaker 2: You just wrinkle it on the current food that your
4:02
Speaker 2: dog eats and bam, they love it. So whether you've
4:06
Speaker 2: got a puppy or an older dog, you need to
4:09
Speaker 2: check out and try Roughcreens. You will see a difference.
4:13
Speaker 2: Now you don't have change your dog's food. You just
4:16
Speaker 2: add Roughcreams and I'm going to offer you a free
4:20
Speaker 2: Jumpstart trial bag.
4:21

4:37
Speaker 2: dog's food, just add Roughcreens and watch the health benefits
4:40
Speaker 2: come alive.
4:41
Speaker 1: All right.
4:42
Speaker 2: So here it is Kamala Harris in her own words
4:44
Speaker 2: center here it's really amazing her plans for the country.
4:48
Speaker 5: Say, look, this is a moment where there are no
4:50
Speaker 5: bad ideas, no bad idea brainstorm is what I'd like
4:54
Speaker 5: to call it. And in that no bad ideas brainstorm,
4:58
Speaker 5: we talk about what we need to do and think
5:01
Speaker 5: about doing around the electoral college. We talk about the
5:06
Speaker 5: idea of Supreme Court reform, which includes expanding the Supreme Court.
5:11
Speaker 5: We invite a conversation about multi members districts. We talk about,
5:17
Speaker 5: Look that if we win the Senate, which we should
5:20
Speaker 5: and we will, then the Senate Judiciary Committee should have
5:25
Speaker 5: rules that they put in place so when these people
5:29
Speaker 5: come before as nominees to the Supreme Court and lie,
5:33
Speaker 5: that they are held to account and consequence, not just
5:37
Speaker 5: that somebody goes on cable news and says they lie,
5:40
Speaker 5: but that there are rules in place to actually penalize
5:44
Speaker 5: people for lying to a Senate Judiciary committee. That we
5:48
Speaker 5: agree that it is right to have ethics rules for
5:52
Speaker 5: Supreme Court justices and let's put those in place. Let's
5:57
Speaker 5: talk about statehood for Puerto Rico and DC. These are
6:01
Speaker 5: the things I think that we've got to do. We've
6:03
Speaker 5: got to neutralize these red states from cheating, including blue
6:09
Speaker 5: states expanding their maps and all of this, I think is, look,
6:16
Speaker 5: we gotta fight fire with fire. These folks are playing
6:19
Speaker 5: to win. We gotta play to win.
6:20
Speaker 1: Center.
6:21
Speaker 2: There's a lot of things that she laid out, and
6:23
Speaker 2: I think we should go through them because it's important.
6:25
Speaker 2: But one of the ones that was obviously the most
6:27
Speaker 2: glaring to me is not only does she want to
6:31
Speaker 2: dismantle the Supreme Court anytime that the Democratic Party gets
6:35
Speaker 2: a ruling they don't like, they actually want to harass
6:38
Speaker 2: Supreme Court justice so that they could in essence kick
6:40
Speaker 2: them off the court and then pack the court if
6:44
Speaker 2: they still don't get what they want. That would completely
6:46
Speaker 2: undo the United States of America and our system of
6:49
Speaker 2: government as we know it now.
6:50
Speaker 3: Well, Ben, when they tell you who they are, believe them.
6:54
Speaker 1: Uh yeah.
6:55
Speaker 3: What is striking about the list that she laid out.
6:58
Speaker 3: She did not lay out a single thing that was
7:00
Speaker 3: a policy that affects you and your family. She didn't
7:04
Speaker 3: say we want to arrest more criminals and keep your
7:09
Speaker 3: family safe. She certainly didn't say we want to secure
7:12
Speaker 3: the border. She didn't want to say we want to
7:14
Speaker 3: reduce taxes or make it easier for small businesses to
7:17
Speaker 3: create jobs. Those are all policies that would make a difference.
7:21
Speaker 4: For you and your family.
7:23
Speaker 3: Understand, the only thing Democrats are concerned with is getting
7:29
Speaker 3: in power and staying in power. Every single thing she
7:33
Speaker 3: listed was single mindedly focused on one thing, rigging elections,
7:39
Speaker 3: so Democrats can never ever lose. You know, she began
7:43
Speaker 3: by saying, they're no bad ideas, and you know, she
7:46
Speaker 3: quickly disproved herself because every word out of her mouth
7:50
Speaker 3: was a really bad idea. I want to go through them,
7:52
Speaker 3: and I want to go through them. Actually wrote down
7:54
Speaker 3: what she said because it was astonishingly candid. You know, Kamala,
7:59
Speaker 3: there are a gifted politicians. Bill Clinton is a gifted politician,
8:03
Speaker 3: Barack Obama is a gifted politician, and then there are
8:07
Speaker 3: staggeringly non gifted politicians, and that would be Kamala. And
8:12
Speaker 3: one of the reasons that she is so non gifted is,
8:17
Speaker 3: like the rest of them, she knows what their radical
8:20
Speaker 3: agenda is. She's just not clever enough to not say
8:25
Speaker 3: it out loud. So y, she says the quiet part
8:28
Speaker 3: that the rest of them are thinking. Let's be clear,
8:30
Speaker 3: this is what Barack Obama wants to do, but he
8:32
Speaker 3: frames it we've got to save democracy. Kamala doesn't put
8:36
Speaker 3: any pretty shine on it. So she started off with
8:40
Speaker 3: ending the electoral college. The electoral college is how we
8:42
Speaker 3: elect the president. What she wants to do is take
8:46
Speaker 3: away the influence of small state. She wants to take
8:49
Speaker 3: away the influence. She wants the president elected by New
8:52
Speaker 3: York and California and Illinois, the giant states. And if
8:56
Speaker 3: you happen to live in a little state, she wants
8:58
Speaker 3: you to have zero influence in who the president is.
9:02
Speaker 3: That's where she started.
9:03
Speaker 1: And by the way, there's a lot of little states.
9:05
Speaker 2: So people understand that she would get rid of the
9:07
Speaker 2: North Dakota, South Dakota, a lot of the southern states.
9:09
Speaker 2: Like she would just say, you guys don't even matter anymore.
9:13
Speaker 2: That I just want you to understand when we say
9:15
Speaker 2: smaller states, we're talking about a lot of the map
9:19
Speaker 2: or to America.
9:20
Speaker 3: We're talking Iowa, New Hampshire, South Carolina, Nevada, all of
9:24
Speaker 3: those become largely irrelevant. We're talking about Indiana, Missouri, even
9:29
Speaker 3: a Tennis.
9:30
Speaker 1: To Mississippi, even Tennessee could be in there.
9:32
Speaker 3: No, no, this is a presidential election that is decided
9:35
Speaker 3: by New York and California and Illinois and Texas and Florida,
9:39
Speaker 3: and you would have presidential candidates spending almost all their
9:44
Speaker 3: time in those five states because that's where the bulk
9:46
Speaker 3: of the population is, and ignoring eighty percent of the
9:50
Speaker 3: states because that's not where the population is.
9:52
Speaker 4: Why is she doing that?
9:54
Speaker 3: Because the Democrat machines that have destroyed New York City,
9:57
Speaker 3: that have destroyed Los Angeles, that have destroyed San franci
10:00
Speaker 3: She feels they can crank up enough votes that it
10:04
Speaker 3: can overwhelm even if Democrats only win five states. She
10:08
Speaker 3: thinks they can drive enough numbers in those five states.
10:10
Speaker 3: What's the next thing, she said, Supreme Court reform, Expand
10:16
Speaker 3: the court. So, Kamalin, the Democrats are big mad. They're
10:20
Speaker 3: big mad that we have a Supreme Court that's following
10:22
Speaker 3: the law and is not willing to roll over to
10:25
Speaker 3: Democrat power grabs. And so their answer is to take
10:29
Speaker 3: the last bad idea they had. You know, FDR tried
10:31
Speaker 3: to do this when the Supreme Court struck down several
10:34
Speaker 3: elements of the new Deal.
10:36
Speaker 4: He came up with packing the court. He wanted to
10:38
Speaker 4: grow it from.
10:39
Speaker 3: Nine justices to fifteen justices. He had a Democrat supermajority
10:44
Speaker 3: in both the House and Senate, and the Democrats at
10:46
Speaker 3: the time there were responsible Democrats who said, no, that
10:49
Speaker 3: is an abuse of power, that's not consistent with the Constitution.
10:52
Speaker 4: We're not going to do it.
10:54
Speaker 3: The difference is today's Democrats there are no reasonable Democrats.
10:58
Speaker 3: They just want power. They want the Supreme Court to
11:01
Speaker 3: be a partisan arm of the Democrat Party. What's the
11:03
Speaker 3: next thing, she said, multi member districts. Understand, everything she's
11:08
Speaker 3: saying is tearing up the Constitution and in particular, the
11:13
Speaker 3: constitutional mechanism for democracy. How we elect our leader. She
11:17
Speaker 3: doesn't want one House member representing one district. Why well,
11:23
Speaker 3: because in the last election the Democrats lost, and in
11:26
Speaker 3: this next election there's a very real chance the Democrats
11:28
Speaker 3: are going to lose. So she wants to make Downtown
11:32
Speaker 3: New York elect a whole bunch of different Democrat members.
11:36
Speaker 3: She wants Los Angeles to elect a whole bunch of
11:38
Speaker 3: different Democrat members, she wants Chicago to elect a whole
11:42
Speaker 3: bunch of different Democrat members. And the whole idea of
11:45
Speaker 3: one man, one vote, the whole idea of a representative
11:48
Speaker 3: representing a district. She is saying scrap the constitution. That
11:54
Speaker 3: is the central theme. All right, Now, let's shift to
11:58
Speaker 3: the Judiciary Committee. She says, we need rules, rules in
12:03
Speaker 3: the Judiciary Committee so that when you lie to the
12:05
Speaker 3: Judiciary Committee there are consequences and you penalize them. Well, look,
12:10
Speaker 3: I gotta admit I didn't have this on my Bengo card.
12:14
Speaker 3: But Kamala Harris has just come out strongly in favor
12:17
Speaker 3: of the Trump DOJ prosecuting James Comy, because James Comy
12:23
Speaker 3: is being prosecuted for lying under oath to the Senate
12:26
Speaker 3: Judiciary Committee. To me, I asked him questions, he flat
12:31
Speaker 3: out lied. That is the basis for the indictment that
12:33
Speaker 3: is preceding. By the way, the Democrats, including Kamala Harris,
12:37
Speaker 3: let their hair on fire and said it was horrible
12:39
Speaker 3: that he was being prosecuted for lying to the Judiciary Committee.
12:41
Speaker 3: So understand what she really means is she wants a
12:46
Speaker 3: partisan Democrat Department of Justice to prosecute conservative justices. That
12:52
Speaker 3: is what the objective is. Not enough to pack the court.
12:55
Speaker 2: And by the way, that's to intimidate rule their actual rulings. Right,
12:58
Speaker 2: you stay in line, you stay in this lane. If
13:01
Speaker 2: you want to stay on the Supreme Court, and if
13:03
Speaker 2: you get outside of that lane, we'll just come after
13:06
Speaker 2: you and destroy you.
13:07
Speaker 3: But by the way, never once, as Kamala suggested prosecuting
13:10
Speaker 3: Anthony Fauci, who lied repeatedly before Congress, who denied, understand Fauci.
13:16
Speaker 3: The evidence indicates that Fauci paid for the funding for
13:20
Speaker 3: the research at the Wuhan Institute for Virology, that is
13:23
Speaker 3: where they created the COVID virus at all likelihood, and
13:28
Speaker 3: created it through what's called gain of function research, which
13:31
Speaker 3: is taking existing viruses in nature and modifying them to
13:35
Speaker 3: make the more transmissible, to make them more deadly, to
13:39
Speaker 3: make the more targeted towards humans. The evidence clearly indicates
13:45
Speaker 3: that Fauci cut the checks and paid for it, and
13:48
Speaker 3: then he went before Congress that he lied over and
13:50
Speaker 3: over and over again. And by the way, you want
13:53
Speaker 3: proof of that, what did Joe Biden do on the
13:54
Speaker 3: way out? He pardoned Fauci for lying to Congress. And
13:58
Speaker 3: yet when Kamala says she wants penalties for lying to Congress,
14:02
Speaker 3: she is very specific what she wants. She wants to
14:05
Speaker 3: go after Supreme Court justices. She disagrees with what's next
14:11
Speaker 3: Supreme Court ethics rules. This is another big bugaboo of
14:15
Speaker 3: the left. By the way she said, we need to
14:17
Speaker 3: create Supreme Court ethics rules. Well, you know what, we
14:20
Speaker 3: have them. We have had them for a very long time.
14:24
Speaker 3: This is a not very veiled attack at Clarence Thomas.
14:28
Speaker 3: And this is something we've talked about on this podcast before.
14:31
Speaker 3: It's something we'll talk about again in August when when
14:35
Speaker 3: my latest.
14:36
Speaker 2: I was going to ask you, is this subject in
14:38
Speaker 2: the book that you're writing about Clarence Thomas And if
14:41
Speaker 2: you say no, you need to add it in there.
14:42
Speaker 1: I just want to be clear about that.
14:44
Speaker 3: Of course it is. It's a major part of the book.
14:46
Speaker 3: The book comes out in August. It is called Going
14:50
Speaker 3: Further the Incomparable Clarence Thomas. It tells his life story,
14:55
Speaker 3: but one of the things that talks about is how
14:56
Speaker 3: the left hates him so much that they've gone after him.
14:59
Speaker 3: And there are lots of different bases, but one of
15:01
Speaker 3: the things they say is ethics rules. Well, the Spring
15:04
Speaker 3: Court ethics rules for a long time, for decades said
15:08
Speaker 3: that you do not disclose personal lodging or travel. So
15:13
Speaker 3: if you stay at someone's home, if someone gives you
15:15
Speaker 3: a ride, if someone feeds you a meal, you don't
15:18
Speaker 3: disclose that.
15:18
Speaker 4: That's the way the rules are written.
15:20
Speaker 3: Clarence Thomas received advice from the lawyers who advise on
15:24
Speaker 3: these matters and was told follow the rules, so don't
15:26
Speaker 3: disclose personal hospitality. Well, the Democrats have gone crazy because
15:31
Speaker 3: over the years Justice Thomas and his wife Jenny have
15:34
Speaker 3: taken a number of trips, and in particular with Harlan Crowe,
15:37
Speaker 3: who is a real estate developer in Dallas. Someone's a
15:39
Speaker 3: good friend of mine and has taken trips with him,
15:42
Speaker 3: has gone camping with him, has had meals with him.
15:45
Speaker 2: They're friends, by the way, that's the part that they
15:47
Speaker 2: were close from this. They're actual dear friends of of
15:51
Speaker 2: the Thomas.
15:51
Speaker 3: Yes, and they've attacked Clarence Thomas. Now Number one, nobody
15:56
Speaker 3: disputes that the ethics rules said, do not disclose personal hospitality,
16:02
Speaker 3: lodging and travel like that's admitted Number two. The other
16:07
Speaker 3: Supreme Court justices, the liberal Supreme Court justices, all did
16:11
Speaker 3: the same thing and have a lot more of it.
16:13
Speaker 3: Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Stephen Bryer, Katanji Brown, Jackson, Sonya Sotomayor
16:19
Speaker 3: and yet the left doesn't care at all. Stephen Ginsburg
16:23
Speaker 3: had roughly four times as many trips, including international travel,
16:31
Speaker 3: paid by the Pritzker family, which are Democrat billionaire politicians,
16:37
Speaker 3: and yet.
16:38
Speaker 4: Not a peep.
16:39
Speaker 3: So understand when she says we and by the way,
16:41
Speaker 3: they change the Supreme Court ethics rules so that now
16:44
Speaker 3: you disclose that travel and lodging, so they all do
16:47
Speaker 3: it now. Before it didn't cover it, then they changed it.
16:50
Speaker 4: Now it does.
16:52
Speaker 3: But the hypocrisy is she only cares about Clarence Thomas.
16:55
Speaker 3: Has nothing to do with the fact that he's gone
16:58
Speaker 3: at a camping trip with a Dolls real estate developers.
17:01
Speaker 3: Has everything to do with the fact that she hates, hates,
17:04
Speaker 3: hates that he is faithful to the Constitution. And it's
17:07
Speaker 3: even worse, there is a level of vitriol and animosity
17:11
Speaker 3: to Justice Thomas because he's African American and.
17:14
Speaker 1: Dares to be servative.
17:17
Speaker 4: And so that's what she means there. What are the
17:19
Speaker 4: last couple of things.
17:20
Speaker 3: She says, statehood for Puerto Rico and DC Why because
17:24
Speaker 3: they believe that'll give them four Democrat senators. It's all
17:27
Speaker 3: about power. And then finally she says, we need to
17:32
Speaker 3: fight red state cheating, we need blue states expanding their map.
17:39
Speaker 4: Now. The amazing thing on this.
17:42
Speaker 3: Democrats have excelled at jerrymandering for a long long time.
17:47
Speaker 4: You know. All you have to do is look at
17:49
Speaker 4: New England.
17:50
Speaker 1: Let's decades, by the way, when you say a long
17:52
Speaker 1: long time.
17:53
Speaker 2: This is something I was talking about this this last
17:55
Speaker 2: week with some students and they asked me about why
17:59
Speaker 2: a Republican you know, taking so much power. They're using
18:01
Speaker 2: my where I was born in Tennessee is a new example.
18:04
Speaker 1: They're just shocked.
18:05
Speaker 2: I was like, do you know how many other state
18:06
Speaker 2: democratic states out there have been doing this for decades?
18:08
Speaker 2: And I went through that list, which I think you're
18:10
Speaker 2: about to give, which we should, and they're like, we
18:13
Speaker 2: didn't know that.
18:13
Speaker 1: I'm like, so, let me get this straight.
18:15
Speaker 2: You're all spun up now about Tennessee and they're redistricting,
18:19
Speaker 2: but you're not spun up about the decades of disenfranchisement
18:22
Speaker 2: as you just described to me in a multitude of
18:25
Speaker 2: states up in the Northeast. And it was just total, blank, stared,
18:29
Speaker 2: dead silence. All right, before we move on, I want
18:31
Speaker 2: to just take a moment and I want to talk
18:33
Speaker 2: to you about an organization that I think so many
18:36
Speaker 2: of you will want to be involved with. It is
18:39
Speaker 2: an organization that has been shaping the pro life laws
18:43
Speaker 2: nationwide for years. A major player in creating pro life
18:49
Speaker 2: legislation Americans United for Life. They offer states model bills
18:55
Speaker 2: that they can adopt and can save the lives of
18:59
Speaker 2: unborn Now over the past fifty years, Americans United for
19:03
Speaker 2: Life has filed more than two hundred legal briefs. They've
19:06
Speaker 2: also helped create at least four hundred pro life bills
19:10
Speaker 2: in over forty states. By writing this model legislation, they
19:15
Speaker 2: consult with state legislatures and then they defend their own
19:18
Speaker 2: laws and other pro life statues in court so you
19:22
Speaker 2: know they stick. Aul's dual front approach of writing and
19:27
Speaker 2: defending legislation has provided an incredibly effective outlook and is
19:32
Speaker 2: now having a major impact on pro life state legislation
19:37
Speaker 2: as it's moving to enact protections for preborn babies as
19:41
Speaker 2: well as their mothers. Now that the legality of abortion
19:44
Speaker 2: is returned to the states, your help is needed more
19:47
Speaker 2: than ever and that's where you have the opportunity to
19:50
Speaker 2: help overturn pro abortion laws and advance pro life legislation
19:55
Speaker 2: that attacks the most vulnerable in our society, from the
19:59
Speaker 2: womb to the tomb. So together, we can shape the
20:02
Speaker 2: future of our nation through life affirming legislation in every state.
20:08
Speaker 2: A gift of just twenty five dollars helps hold abortion
20:11
Speaker 2: providers accountable and helps protect women and unborn children across
20:17
Speaker 2: this country. And now, through a match, your gift is doubled.
20:21
Speaker 2: Donate securely at aul dot org slash verdict. That's aul
20:30
Speaker 2: dot org slash verdict, sponsored by Americans United for Life.
20:35
Speaker 3: Well, let's go through it. Connecticut votes forty two percent Republican.
20:39
Speaker 3: How many Republican members of Congress are there?
20:42
Speaker 4: Zero? Maine?
20:43
Speaker 3: Maine votes forty six percent Republican. How many Republican members
20:47
Speaker 3: of Congress are there?
20:48
Speaker 1: I'm gonna go with zero again.
20:50
Speaker 3: New Mexico forty six percent Republican. How many congressional seats
20:55
Speaker 3: is it zero?
20:55
Speaker 4: Yep?
20:56
Speaker 3: New Hampshire forty eight percent Republican, forty eight percent Republican.
21:00
Speaker 4: How many members of Congress?
21:02
Speaker 1: Zero?
21:03
Speaker 3: Rhode Island forty two percent Republican? How many members of Congress?
21:07
Speaker 1: Let's go at the trend of zero again?
21:09
Speaker 3: Vermont thirty two percent Republican. How many members of Congress zero?
21:13
Speaker 3: Hawaii thirty eight percent Republican? How many members of Congress zero?
21:17
Speaker 3: Delaware forty two percent Republican?
21:19
Speaker 4: How many members of Congress.
21:20
Speaker 1: I'm gonna go with zero again.
21:22
Speaker 3: And how about Massachusetts thirty six percent Republican? How many
21:25
Speaker 3: members of Congress zero? You are exactly there. It is
21:29
Speaker 3: like in every one of those states. By the way,
21:31
Speaker 3: when the Democrats cheat, they take every seat. They don't
21:35
Speaker 3: leave anything there.
21:36
Speaker 1: Yeah, they leave no doubt that they're cheating.
21:38
Speaker 2: They don't even say, let's give a token one just
21:40
Speaker 2: in case so we're above reproach or we have an
21:43
Speaker 2: argument to fight back.
21:43
Speaker 1: They're like, we don't even care.
21:44
Speaker 4: Look you look at Virginia, Virginia.
21:48
Speaker 3: Virginia right now is about forty five percent of the
21:52
Speaker 3: voters in Virginia vote Republican. The current congressional map is
21:57
Speaker 3: six Democrats and five Republicans, which about refines flex where
22:00
Speaker 3: the voters are. What did Abigail Spamberger and the Democrats do?
22:05
Speaker 3: They redrew the map to make it ten to one
22:10
Speaker 3: instead of six', five which was a fair and reasonable
22:13
Speaker 3: representation of the. State they wanted. Ten if they could
22:16
Speaker 3: have drawn eleven zero they would. Have there were just
22:18
Speaker 3: too Many. Republicans they had to find one district and
22:20
Speaker 3: pack them all in that. One, now their plan to
22:27
Speaker 3: jerrymander the living daylights out Of, virginia it ran into a,
22:30
Speaker 3: problem and the problem was The Virginia Supreme, court WHICH
22:33
Speaker 3: i note was appointed By, democrats folks Like Mark, warner
22:37
Speaker 3: the Current, senator as A democrat governor put those justices
22:41
Speaker 3: on the. Bench The Virginia Supreme court struck it, down
22:45
Speaker 3: said you have violated The Virginia Supreme. Court you got
22:49
Speaker 3: to go with your current, map And democrats quite literally
22:54
Speaker 3: lost their ever loving.
22:56
Speaker 4: Mind.
22:56
Speaker 3: HERE i want you to put up on the screen
22:58
Speaker 3: for those who are watching on YouTube from The, Governor Abigail,
23:01
Speaker 3: spanberger because this shows the same thing As. Kamala they
23:05
Speaker 3: want power and if they're denied, power they get angry
23:09
Speaker 3: and they lash.
23:10
Speaker 4: Out here's what she. Said.
23:12
Speaker 3: Quote The Supreme court of The United states has now
23:15
Speaker 3: joined The Supreme court Of virginia in choosing to nullify
23:19
Speaker 3: an election in the votes of more.
23:20
Speaker 4: Than three Million.
23:21
Speaker 3: Virginians These virginians made their voices, heard casting their ballots
23:25
Speaker 3: in good faith to push back against a president who
23:27
Speaker 3: said he's entitled to more seats In congress.
23:30
Speaker 4: Before voters go to the.
23:31
Speaker 3: Polls as, GOVERNOR i will make sure voters know when
23:36
Speaker 3: and how to cast their votes this, year because our
23:39
Speaker 3: votes are how we choose.
23:40
Speaker 4: The representation we.
23:42
Speaker 3: Deserve, now mind, you she's lashing out at The Supreme
23:45
Speaker 3: court of The United states because after The Virginia Supreme
23:49
Speaker 3: court said what you guys did violates The Virginia, Constitution
23:53
Speaker 3: virginia appealed to THE Us Supreme. Court, now by the,
23:56
Speaker 3: way they're left Wing Virginia Democrat Attorney GENERAL J, jones
24:01
Speaker 3: the guy who fantasized about murdering the children of A
24:05
Speaker 3: republican state. Representative he, is among other, things apparently not
24:11
Speaker 3: a very good, lawyer because his pleadings to The Supreme
24:14
Speaker 3: court misspelled the Word, virginia, yes and misspelled the word senator.
24:20
Speaker 4: Senator it was.
24:22
Speaker 2: Instead it's a hard one to, spell, sir hard one to.
24:25
Speaker 2: Spell you get that one wrong all the.
24:26
Speaker 3: Time but you, know a buddy of mine says he's a,
24:28
Speaker 3: senator half, man half of. Course AND i gotta, say
24:33
Speaker 3: if You're Attorney general Of, virginia you don't necessarily need
24:37
Speaker 3: to know how to spell super, califragilestic, sbladocious but you
24:42
Speaker 3: probably should know how to Spell. Virginia their appeal went
24:47
Speaker 3: to The Supreme. Court, ben how many justices do you
24:50
Speaker 3: think agreed With Abbiel spamberger And virginia that they they
24:55
Speaker 3: should be able to break The virginia constitution and ram
24:57
Speaker 3: through a ten to one.
24:58
Speaker 2: Map i'm i gonna, say maybe one nut job on
25:01
Speaker 2: The Supreme, court BUT i could say only one went with,
25:05
Speaker 2: him and my right.
25:05
Speaker 4: Wrong you are.
25:06
Speaker 3: Wrong virginia got a total of zero, justices not A.
25:10
Speaker 2: NAZI i was, saying there was one crazy on there
25:12
Speaker 2: that would have been, like all, right, Fine so it was.
25:14
Speaker 1: Unanimous it was.
25:15
Speaker 3: Unanimous AND i got to, say if you're sitting there
25:18
Speaker 3: as a Crazy democrat and The Supreme court unanimously rejects
25:23
Speaker 3: what you're, doing if Even Katanji Brown jackson there says whoa,
25:27
Speaker 3: there whoa? There, no, no, no, no we have this
25:29
Speaker 3: thing called, law so, no thank. You that's got to say,
25:33
Speaker 3: Something but yet to democrats it does.
25:36
Speaker 2: NOT i want to take a quick moment and talk
25:38
Speaker 2: to you about an incredible organization and it is Called Compassion,
25:42
Speaker 2: international and how you can get. INVOLVED i want to
25:45
Speaker 2: be honest with you for a second about how an
25:48
Speaker 2: act of compassion really. FEELS a couple of years, AGO
25:51
Speaker 2: i made the choice to partner with an amazing organization
25:55
Speaker 2: Called Compassion. International why BECAUSE i wanted to sponsor a
26:00
Speaker 2: child in. Need it was a nice, idea, sure BUT
26:03
Speaker 2: i had no idea just how much that simple act
26:07
Speaker 2: would change my life as. WELL i Sponsored nadia and
26:11
Speaker 2: got to watch your life change right in front of my,
26:13
Speaker 2: eyes going from starving literally alone on the streets to
26:18
Speaker 2: getting the healthcare and education she needs to reach Her
26:22
Speaker 2: god given full. POTENTIAL i got to be a part
26:25
Speaker 2: of that, change and the light of that compassion not
26:28
Speaker 2: only illuminates in, her it illuminates now in. Me that
26:33
Speaker 2: is the power of, Compassion the light Of christ shines
26:37
Speaker 2: on all of. Us feel it for yourself and change
26:41
Speaker 2: literally a child's, life change the, world and you also change.
26:45
Speaker 2: Yourself you can sponsor child. Today visit compassion dot. Com
26:50
Speaker 2: That's compassion dot. COM i think, that especially if people
26:55
Speaker 2: that listen to show that are, younger they hear this
26:58
Speaker 2: argument on, Statehood democrats are really leaning into. This it's
27:02
Speaker 2: becoming an election year issue multiple times over, now and
27:07
Speaker 2: the argument that young people, hear and the one that
27:09
Speaker 2: they then make is, well they're not being fairly. Represented
27:12
Speaker 2: Puerto rico rushing D c, representation our our taxation with that,
27:17
Speaker 2: representation why should we not make sure these people have
27:21
Speaker 2: a voice In, washington D.
27:23
Speaker 1: C explain to people listening.
27:26
Speaker 2: Now how to defend against that argument that's being made
27:29
Speaker 2: by the, left because they are really pushing this on
27:32
Speaker 2: colleges and college students and young people in this.
27:35
Speaker 3: Country, well, look The constitution explicitly CREATED, dc and the
27:39
Speaker 3: framers of The constitution wanted our nation's capital to be
27:43
Speaker 3: a federal district that was not part of any. State
27:46
Speaker 3: they didn't want any state to be favored because The
27:48
Speaker 3: congress was, there because The president was, there and so
27:51
Speaker 3: they carved out the lines of The district Of. Columbia
27:54
Speaker 3: was originally carved out to be ten miles by ten,
27:56
Speaker 3: miles and then what ultimately happened is they gave the
27:59
Speaker 3: southern portion of, it everything south of The Potomac, river
28:02
Speaker 3: they gave To. Virginia so what used to be D
28:04
Speaker 3: C arlington used to be part of D.
28:07
Speaker 4: C it was given To.
28:08
Speaker 3: Virginia so it's now that ten mile by ten mile
28:11
Speaker 3: diamond kind of chopped the bottom portion chopped off by
28:14
Speaker 3: The Potomac, river and the idea of The framers was
28:17
Speaker 3: quite clear that it was not. Fair if you had
28:20
Speaker 3: a state that had our, capital that state would have
28:23
Speaker 3: advantages that no other state. Had the only Reason democrats
28:27
Speaker 3: want D c to be a state is because D
28:31
Speaker 3: c would immediately become the most liberal state in The.
28:33
Speaker 3: Union it would Make california And illinois And New york
28:37
Speaker 3: look look conservative by. Comparison they want two New democrat,
28:42
Speaker 3: senators they want one New Democrat house. Member they want
28:47
Speaker 3: to be radical and extreme because and notice it's not
28:52
Speaker 3: about any. Substance go back To kamala's. List is there
28:55
Speaker 3: a single policy she listed that impacts your life that
28:59
Speaker 3: is about your, job about your, kids it is about your. Family,
29:02
Speaker 3: no the only only focus is. Power by the, way IF,
29:06
Speaker 3: dc if they were likely to Vote, republican you would
29:10
Speaker 3: See democrats saying MAKING dc a state Is Jim.
29:13
Speaker 4: Crow.
29:14
Speaker 3: Yeah Puerto rico is actually a little more. Complicated Because
29:17
Speaker 3: Puerto rico has Elected. Republicans The democrats Assume Puerto rico
29:21
Speaker 3: will elect To democrat. Senators they might be, right but
29:25
Speaker 3: they might be. Wrong if If Puerto rico became a,
29:27
Speaker 3: state we would fight and vigorously. CONTESTED i don't know
29:30
Speaker 3: if we could prevail on that or, not but their. Assumption,
29:33
Speaker 3: look The, democrats if there's one essential feature about, them they're.
29:38
Speaker 3: Racists they believe All African americans must Be. Democrats that's
29:42
Speaker 3: why they Hate Clarence thomas because in their, view he's
29:45
Speaker 3: a trader to his. Race they believe All hispanics must Be.
29:48
Speaker 3: Democrats that's why they hate, me because they Think i'm
29:50
Speaker 3: a trader to my. Race and so their view Of
29:52
Speaker 3: Puerto ricans is you must Be democrats because, we The Democrat,
29:56
Speaker 3: party control.
29:57
Speaker 4: You i'm not.
29:58
Speaker 3: Sure that would play out. Out but, Look Puerto rico
30:01
Speaker 3: is a. Territory it has a different. History and by the,
30:03
Speaker 3: way the people Of Puerto rico have long been divided
30:06
Speaker 3: on the question of whether to become a state or.
30:09
Speaker 3: Not at various times in, elections they've had options of,
30:12
Speaker 3: Statehood they've had options of. Independence there's some In Puerto
30:15
Speaker 3: rico that want to be a separate and independent. Nation
30:18
Speaker 3: then the third, option which is what they have.
30:20
Speaker 4: Now they're a.
30:21
Speaker 3: Commonwealth they get some of the benefits Of american, citizenship
30:24
Speaker 3: but yet they're not fully a, state and the people
30:27
Speaker 3: Of Puerto rico have long disagreed on. That democrats don't
30:30
Speaker 3: care about any of. That all they want is. Power
30:33
Speaker 3: And i'll point to another. Instance we've talked About commlin,
30:36
Speaker 3: nationwide we've talked About virginia And Governor spanberger both gone.
30:42
Speaker 3: Wild and then you look At republicans At. California so all,
30:46
Speaker 3: right here's a story in The New York Post bay.
30:49
Speaker 3: Sixteenth california sees massive surge In republican votes as more
30:53
Speaker 3: than nine hundred thousand ballots already. Returned could the state
30:57
Speaker 3: Of california actually be turning?
30:58
Speaker 4: Red?
31:00
Speaker 3: Early voters in The Golden state have already returned more
31:02
Speaker 3: than nine hundred thousand ballots ahead of The june second,
31:05
Speaker 3: primary showing a massive surge In republican votes compared to
31:09
Speaker 3: four years ago for the governor's. RACE a post On
31:12
Speaker 3: saturday from the research Firm Political DATA pdi showed that
31:16
Speaker 3: out of nine hundred and five eight hundred and eighty
31:18
Speaker 3: nine ballots that have been, returned thirty seven percent were From,
31:22
Speaker 3: republicans With republican returns up eleven percent compared to the
31:28
Speaker 3: same stage of the twenty twenty two, midterms So republican
31:31
Speaker 3: votes up eleven. Percent more shocking is the fact that
31:35
Speaker 3: the data showed forty one percent Of democrats who over
31:38
Speaker 3: returned their, ballots down thirteen points from the same moment
31:42
Speaker 3: in the primary election four years. Ago So republicans up eleven,
31:45
Speaker 3: Percent democrats down thirteen. Percent now we all know because
31:50
Speaker 3: they tell us. Incessantly democrats are committed to, democracy and
31:56
Speaker 3: they beat their chest when they say, it and they
31:58
Speaker 3: get a little tear in the corner of their. Eyes
32:01
Speaker 3: it is democracy with a trademark on. It it is
32:03
Speaker 3: CAPITAL d. Democracy and by, democracy what do they? Mean
32:07
Speaker 3: they mean any decision making apparatus that Elects.
32:12
Speaker 4: Democrats that's how they define.
32:13
Speaker 3: Democracy if the voters vote for something they don't, like
32:17
Speaker 3: to hell with the. Voters The democrats want what they.
32:19
Speaker 3: Want So Gavin, Newsom california has this really weird system
32:24
Speaker 3: of electing governors where you vote for their like sixty
32:27
Speaker 3: candidates on the, bout Both republicans And. Democrats they got
32:30
Speaker 3: rid of a, primary and the way it, works the
32:33
Speaker 3: top two candidate vote getters then go to a. Runoff
32:37
Speaker 3: there are right now two Strong republicans who are in
32:42
Speaker 3: the top Four Steve hilton And Chad. Debanco those two
32:47
Speaker 3: could possibly end up one and. Two if that, happened
32:51
Speaker 3: it would mean the runoff would have Only. Republicans by the,
32:53
Speaker 3: way it Was democrats who designed this system because they
32:56
Speaker 3: wanted every election to feature just Two. Democrats they wanted
32:59
Speaker 3: to ensure that there wasn't even A republican on the
33:01
Speaker 3: general election. Ballot they assumed they could take the top
33:03
Speaker 3: two seats and just clean close.
33:05
Speaker 2: Every, time, yeah every time in this and then they
33:08
Speaker 2: never have to worry about A republican winning.
33:09
Speaker 4: Again you.
33:10
Speaker 3: Know and it turns out when you do things like
33:12
Speaker 3: let your city burn to the, ground not fill in the,
33:15
Speaker 3: water let homeless people on the, streets let needles and,
33:20
Speaker 3: robbery and abuse the economic system so, much propose a
33:25
Speaker 3: wealth tax to confiscate people's, wealth destroy, jobs cause a
33:29
Speaker 3: massive exodus of people Fleeing. California it turns out when
33:31
Speaker 3: you really really really screw up running the state or
33:34
Speaker 3: running say the city Of Los, angeles eventually people. Notice
33:39
Speaker 3: and so Here's gavin NEWS i want you to listen
33:41
Speaker 3: To Gavin newsome talking about what would happen If republicans
33:46
Speaker 3: win the top two spots in the. Election If california
33:48
Speaker 3: voters choose to Vote, republican.
33:51
Speaker 6: We all have agencies we can shape the. Future there's
33:53
Speaker 6: still a lot Of, Look i've said this, Before saul,
33:57
Speaker 6: REPEATED i don't anticipate this need to be the, case
34:00
Speaker 6: but there is a blake break the glass, scenario and
34:02
Speaker 6: there's many people that have a deep understanding of what
34:06
Speaker 6: it would look like If democrats were locked, out and
34:09
Speaker 6: we're gonna do everything to make sure that doesn't.
34:11
Speaker 2: Happen i'll leave that, so in other, words we're just
34:13
Speaker 2: gonna rig. Elections is that basically the? RESPONSE i don't.
34:16
Speaker 2: Worry this may happen, once but it'll never happen.
34:18
Speaker 3: Again senator look what he called the break the glass.
34:22
Speaker 3: Scenario understand what he's saying to the. Voters if you
34:25
Speaker 3: pesky voters Vote, republican and if the top two candidates
34:30
Speaker 3: that come into the runoff are Both, republicans he will
34:34
Speaker 3: quote break the. Glass AND i don't know what the
34:37
Speaker 3: heck that. Means what throw one of The republicans out
34:39
Speaker 3: of the, election cancel the, ELECTION i mean anything he's talking.
34:43
Speaker 4: About do you know what you just?
34:45
Speaker 3: Witnessed there a promise of an insurrection that, is in
34:49
Speaker 3: fact WHAT i.
34:50
Speaker 1: Mean it's a fair way of saying.
34:51
Speaker 2: It you're basically, saying even if you guys decided to
34:53
Speaker 2: go a different, way we won't let.
34:54
Speaker 3: You he, said we have the, agencies we have the.
34:57
Speaker 3: Power there will break the glass scenarios If republicans. Win
35:01
Speaker 3: he's literally declaring war on the. Voters he's, saying you
