- 0:00Speaker 1: This is the Ben and Ashley I Almost Famous podcast
- 0:03Speaker 1: with iHeartRadio.
- 0:05Speaker 2: Welcome to the second part of the Sean Booth podcast
- 0:08Speaker 2: rebreak down yes his journey into fatherhood and talk about
- 0:12Speaker 2: his podcast. And there's some juicy details along the way
- 0:16Speaker 2: about any reoccurring conversations maybe with Caitlin Bristow since their breakup.
- 0:22Speaker 3: They keep not wanting to talk about it, but the
- 0:25Speaker 3: two of them still can't get rid of each other
- 0:29Speaker 3: when it comes to headlines five years after their breakup.
- 0:32Speaker 3: Let's see what Sean has to say. Okay, well, you
- 0:36Speaker 3: just said that you ran in to Caitlin once in Nashville,
- 0:40Speaker 3: which is quite unbelievable. You have said that you've reached
- 0:45Speaker 3: out to her. You did so in June when you
- 0:48Speaker 3: started the podcast. You said that you reached out to her.
- 0:51Speaker 4: How'd that go?
- 0:54Speaker 5: Yeah, that was I had gotten to the point where
- 0:59Speaker 5: I was just like, I'm just going to reach out
- 1:01Speaker 5: to her and just kind of put all of a
- 1:07Speaker 5: term and all the branch out there, whatever it is.
- 1:11Speaker 5: Because for years I've continued to get asked from tabloids
- 1:17Speaker 5: all this rightfully so, because she's, you know, a big personality,
- 1:21Speaker 5: She's got her podcast all these other shows, and obviously
- 1:24Speaker 5: our relationship was a big part of her life. So
- 1:26Speaker 5: she's you know, constantly mentioned things, have said things about
- 1:30Speaker 5: our relationship, has said things about me personally, where I've
- 1:33Speaker 5: you know, getting all the types of tmzs people us
- 1:37Speaker 5: weeklies all that being like do you care to comment?
- 1:39Speaker 5: Do you care to comment? Do you care to comment?
- 1:40Speaker 5: And I was just I just want to respond. I'm
- 1:43Speaker 5: just like, I don't want to get into that. I
- 1:45Speaker 5: don't want to give any response to that. And then
- 1:47Speaker 5: I finally it was when she had made a comment
- 1:50Speaker 5: something about that I had used her. She thought I
- 1:52Speaker 5: was using her to open the gym, which was the
- 1:54Speaker 5: most outrageous thing that I've ever heard one of them,
- 1:57Speaker 5: but that one, I was just like, okay, this is
- 2:00Speaker 5: this has got to stop. So I just nice, nicely
- 2:02Speaker 5: reached out there and said, hey, just wanted to see
- 2:07Speaker 5: if you wanted to talk. Actually, you know, I'll read
- 2:11Speaker 5: the exact message. I know she's already put this out
- 2:14Speaker 5: there because I guess she put it on her show
- 2:16Speaker 5: or somebody's show.
- 2:19Speaker 6: I didn't know any of this. This is all new
- 2:20Speaker 6: to me.
- 2:21Speaker 5: Yeah, well that's yeah. So I texted her, I said, hey, hope.
- 2:23Speaker 5: All's well, I'm not sure if you still live in Nashville,
- 2:25Speaker 5: but let me know if you ever want to get together.
- 2:27Speaker 4: In college, you knew she's still lived in.
- 2:29Speaker 5: Nice, I said. Having trash mags and journalists reach out
- 2:34Speaker 5: every few months about something you've said about me isn't
- 2:37Speaker 5: really that much fun. I've moved on my life, and
- 2:40Speaker 5: I prefer not to go backwards and talk negatively about
- 2:42Speaker 5: a relationship that ended five years ago. Thanks so much
- 2:45Speaker 5: for understanding, Sean.
- 2:47Speaker 3: Respond Yeah, she responded, Okay, So then what what happened.
- 2:52Speaker 5: Came of it? I was, it was just like a lot,
- 2:54Speaker 5: you know, nothing.
- 2:55Speaker 4: Came of it.
- 2:57Speaker 3: No, So what you said you said in it that
- 3:00Speaker 3: you were were thinking about meeting up.
- 3:02Speaker 5: Yeah, I was. And then somebody said that she had
- 3:04Speaker 5: put that text message on one of her podcast or something,
- 3:07Speaker 5: and I'm like, you know, that's rough.
- 3:11Speaker 2: It is tough, okay, so let's play it out where
- 3:14Speaker 2: you do meet up. Yeah, because now you're in this world.
- 3:18Speaker 3: He's like, people, did I not tell you that I
- 3:21Speaker 3: did not want to talk about this relationship anymore?
- 3:22Speaker 4: But go ahead?
- 3:24Speaker 6: Well I didn't.
- 3:26Speaker 2: I didn't know that they had texted each other, so
- 3:27Speaker 2: I am curious now because this is just an interesting thing.
- 3:31Speaker 2: So now you say you meet up, right, It's going
- 3:33Speaker 2: to be a very raw conversation. There's probably a lot
- 3:36Speaker 2: of things that are going to be said. This's probably
- 3:38Speaker 2: going to, you know, hopefully end in a better place
- 3:39Speaker 2: at least in my experience, in my relationship from the
- 3:43Speaker 2: show time healed. But also I haven't even seen Lauren,
- 3:48Speaker 2: but like seeing her husband is just hanging out with
- 3:49Speaker 2: him like kind of like felt like it. Not that
- 3:52Speaker 2: there was that much animosity, but there was. Now there's closure.
- 3:54Speaker 2: I'm like, I'm good, Like really it was only him
- 3:56Speaker 2: and like her dad that I would like her family.
- 4:00Speaker 2: I was worried about because Lauren and I know what happened,
- 4:03Speaker 2: Like we're both we're very clear on how this ended.
- 4:05Speaker 2: They maybe didn't know everything or didn't you know whatever.
- 4:09Speaker 2: But would you have her on a podcast to do it,
- 4:13Speaker 2: because obviously there's mutual benefic benefit in that, or would
- 4:16Speaker 2: you do it in private? What would be your preference
- 4:18Speaker 2: now that you're in the podcast world.
- 4:21Speaker 5: Yeah, see, I wouldn't want to try and monetize or
- 4:30Speaker 5: do it for a business purpose. People keep asking would
- 4:33Speaker 5: you have her on my podcast? It was like, yeah,
- 4:34Speaker 5: I would have her on my podcast. I'd go on
- 4:36Speaker 5: her podcast, but I wouldn't want that to be our
- 4:39Speaker 5: first like talk together. Okay, I would respect for her
- 4:44Speaker 5: out of respect for our relationship, I feel like it
- 4:46Speaker 5: would just be best to have a talk one on
- 4:49Speaker 5: one and instead of just like throwing us into a room,
- 4:54Speaker 5: which it would be fun, it would be entertaining, it'd
- 4:57Speaker 5: be a lot of emotions. I would and want that
- 5:00Speaker 5: to be the way it goes down. And I want
- 5:03Speaker 5: to know if she would either. But like you just said,
- 5:07Speaker 5: you said, you guys know how it all went down, right,
- 5:12Speaker 5: you know how your breakup went. Yeah, I know how
- 5:15Speaker 5: my breakup went. Not everybody else does. So there's always
- 5:18Speaker 5: different sides. There's gonna be her side, there's gonna be
- 5:21Speaker 5: my side. It just so happens that she's more public
- 5:23Speaker 5: about it. She's spoken about it for years where I
- 5:27Speaker 5: could challenge a lot of things that she said for
- 5:30Speaker 5: my side, But what's the point of doing that?
- 5:32Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, especially today, you've both moved on, you
- 5:35Speaker 2: know exactly.
- 5:36Speaker 5: Yeah, I'm having to I'm a kid in a few
- 5:38Speaker 5: like I'm literally hitting a few months. But I think
- 5:42Speaker 5: also what you're saying too, and I get it's like,
- 5:44Speaker 5: once you saw Chris, you're kind of like okay, like
- 5:47Speaker 5: we're good. And I've seen Jason and and I would
- 5:52Speaker 5: say it might have been a little I'm not gonna
- 5:55Speaker 5: say worse because we both had different relationships and different feelings,
- 5:59Speaker 5: but it's like it was Sean and then Jason like
- 6:05Speaker 5: right there where it was that was like okay, I
- 6:09Speaker 5: got it. I understand here where at least for you,
- 6:14Speaker 5: it wasn't something that was so close to your breakup
- 6:17Speaker 5: and in that time frame right where so I was like, okay,
- 6:20Speaker 5: this is this is a little strange. It would be
- 6:25Speaker 5: weird to see him, But then I saw him a
- 6:27Speaker 5: couple of times and now I'm just like whatever, it's good.
- 6:29Speaker 5: So it almost feels good. Just yeah, I uh yeah. Well,
- 6:34Speaker 5: so we're at there's a gym here soho house and
- 6:40Speaker 5: I was standing next to this is pretty funny. I
- 6:42Speaker 5: was standing next to like the water fountain with like
- 6:45Speaker 5: a couple of my friends and it's like very small,
- 6:49Speaker 5: small area and he was like right next to me
- 6:52Speaker 5: getting a drink of water. I didn't know it's him
- 6:54Speaker 5: because he had like a hood on and like a
- 6:56Speaker 5: hat that cover his eyes, and he was just like
- 7:00Speaker 5: we were so close. He's like, hey, what's up man.
- 7:02Speaker 5: I'm like what's up. He's like, You're got to work
- 7:03Speaker 5: out and I'm like, no, just hanging out. I got
- 7:06Speaker 5: a meeting and I was like cool and he left.
- 7:09Speaker 5: But it took me like I didn't realize that was
- 7:12Speaker 5: him for like fifteen twenty seconds. I was like, who
- 7:15Speaker 5: is that? And then I was like, oh shit, that's Jason.
- 7:19Speaker 3: He must have been really thirsty to get that close
- 7:22Speaker 3: to you.
- 7:23Speaker 5: He's working out.
- 7:24Speaker 2: Get the guy, You get the guy a break, You're right,
- 7:27Speaker 2: I mean, yeah, so I see him, yeah, you know,
- 7:30Speaker 2: And there was that comparison between the two of you.
- 7:32Speaker 2: There was the you know, the Sean and Jason you
- 7:35Speaker 2: know afterwards and kind of that next new season and yeah,
- 7:38Speaker 2: Chris and I didn't really run into that. And at
- 7:41Speaker 2: the same time, as you said, you've both moved on
- 7:43Speaker 2: with your lives, You've moved on with yours. Lawrence had
- 7:45Speaker 2: two kids with Chris, Like, it's not like there's like
- 7:48Speaker 2: hard feelings. I'm married, and like our lives have gone
- 7:51Speaker 2: very different paths and great path yeah, but for you
- 7:54Speaker 2: it would be a little different because there was that
- 7:57Speaker 2: an initial comparison or they initial thoughts on whow this
- 8:02Speaker 2: happened fast? How did this happen? And I know they've
- 8:05Speaker 2: both spoken publicly about when and how they first met,
- 8:09Speaker 2: but it would be different.
- 8:11Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean it was. It was. It's weird because
- 8:13Speaker 5: I remember like watching like because she would have to
- 8:18Speaker 5: do her podcast, I'd be in the room watching that
- 8:21Speaker 5: season and watching him. And then I remember he sent
- 8:25Speaker 5: me a DM, you know, like just want to like,
- 8:28Speaker 5: let you know, respect you everything you're doing. You and
- 8:30Speaker 5: Caitlin are great, Like I remember this, like send me
- 8:32Speaker 5: this DM, and I was like, okay, and then I'm like, yeah,
- 8:36Speaker 5: I guess he really did, like read he didn't respect you. Yeah.
- 8:43Speaker 5: So for that and being in the same world, obviously
- 8:46Speaker 5: it was a little weird. And like I was saying
- 8:48Speaker 5: too and I keep sorry, I keep saying when I
- 8:50Speaker 5: was saying my podcast and I went on to all this.
- 8:53Speaker 5: I saw him a couple more times, and I just
- 8:55Speaker 5: felt like people so many people were around and in
- 9:02Speaker 5: the area that it was almost making me feel weird
- 9:05Speaker 5: about it where you know, because like people know the
- 9:09Speaker 5: situation and people might feel weird. So if I go
- 9:11Speaker 5: up to him. We're talking, then it's like weird for
- 9:13Speaker 5: everybody in the room, and I'm like, like, if I
- 9:15Speaker 5: saw him right out here outside my house or anywhere,
- 9:18Speaker 5: it'd be completely fine. But I felt like I let
- 9:20Speaker 5: those emotions and those feelings get the best of me.
- 9:23Speaker 5: Where I left being like I just wish that I
- 9:25Speaker 5: went up to him and was like, what's up, man,
- 9:27Speaker 5: It's all good here, Like, don't.
- 9:39Speaker 3: Real briefly, Sean, I just want to I want to
- 9:41Speaker 3: ask about this message Extraine that you had with Caitlin
- 9:43Speaker 3: really quick. You said that nothing became of it. You
- 9:47Speaker 3: guys didn't chat any further. Was her response to you?
- 9:51Speaker 4: Kind? Was it positive?
- 9:53Speaker 5: It was kind? Yeah, it was kind?
- 9:56Speaker 3: Okay, So then you did you did just get annoyed
- 9:59Speaker 3: that she talked about in the podcast, and that's why
- 10:01Speaker 3: you just didn't want to go forward with anything.
- 10:04Speaker 5: It was honestly just a lot. And then I kind
- 10:07Speaker 5: of was like, this is just a lot right now
- 10:09Speaker 5: to deal with, and I want to check the date
- 10:11Speaker 5: on it because I'm uh, yeah, I mean I was
- 10:15Speaker 5: also going through like pregnancy and all that as well,
- 10:19Speaker 5: so I kind of just like, yeah, I was, And
- 10:23Speaker 5: then I heard she had talked about it or put
- 10:25Speaker 5: the message up on a screen, and I'm like.
- 10:27Speaker 4: Wasn't but are we sure that she said something about it.
- 10:29Speaker 4: I just wanted to make sure.
- 10:30Speaker 5: Well, I mean, actually I don't know for I'm not
- 10:33Speaker 5: positive that's what.
- 10:35Speaker 7: Okay, Yeah, I know you already because I saw the message,
- 10:38Speaker 7: like she talked about it on one of her shows,
- 10:43Speaker 7: So yeah, I yeah, she responded.
- 10:46Speaker 5: She was kind. I just felt I guess, probably a
- 10:49Speaker 5: little not overwhelmed. Probably. I just didn't want to deal
- 10:53Speaker 5: with it at the time, even though I was the
- 10:55Speaker 5: one that reached out to her. That may sound crazy,
- 10:59Speaker 5: you know, well, because I've debated many times of reaching
- 11:03Speaker 5: out and just trying to be civil, and I think
- 11:08Speaker 5: then I did that, and then I got a response back.
- 11:10Speaker 5: I was like, wait a minute, I don't know if
- 11:11Speaker 5: I want to go there and go back to that
- 11:14Speaker 5: mindset and go back into those feelings, because it is
- 11:18Speaker 5: something where like you said, it was a strong romance.
- 11:22Speaker 5: We had strong feelings and went through so much together.
- 11:25Speaker 5: Like I'm always gonna respect her and appreciate her for
- 11:29Speaker 5: everything because we did it together, and there's no map
- 11:34Speaker 5: or formula and how to handle everything. So we kind
- 11:37Speaker 5: of fought side by side for years and figuring that
- 11:41Speaker 5: whole situation out and growing as people and traveling the
- 11:45Speaker 5: world and doing all these crazy things. So there's always
- 11:47Speaker 5: going to be that connection. So I always make sure
- 11:49Speaker 5: that I have respect for that and respect for that relationship.
- 11:54Speaker 3: Yeah, and then I'm sure like it's just gonna you
- 11:57Speaker 3: feel and almost annoyed by yourself that it tends to
- 12:01Speaker 3: come up so often on podcasts. You're like, oh, man,
- 12:03Speaker 3: I didn't want to bring this up, but then like
- 12:05Speaker 3: it just is kind of come It's just like your life.
- 12:08Speaker 5: Yeah, my life, And that's what I went into my
- 12:10Speaker 5: podcast being like, listen, it's not like a batch of recap.
- 12:14Speaker 5: I can't do it as good as you guys do.
- 12:16Speaker 5: I don't watch the show, so I'm not I'm not
- 12:19Speaker 5: gonna talk about Bachers stuff or have a ton of
- 12:23Speaker 5: Bacheler of guests on. But it continues to come up
- 12:26Speaker 5: because that's my life and it's a life podcast. But
- 12:29Speaker 5: it's always good to talk about it too.
- 12:32Speaker 6: You know.
- 12:33Speaker 2: I know you talk about this again in your podcast
- 12:36Speaker 2: in the Booth and for more in depth conversations with
- 12:40Speaker 2: Sean and Dre and where they're at and what they're planning,
- 12:43Speaker 2: and what they look forward to and what they don't
- 12:44Speaker 2: look forward to, and all these things.
- 12:46Speaker 6: You can listen in the booth.
- 12:48Speaker 2: You know, this is interesting obviously because of my wife
- 12:51Speaker 2: and now are five years together. Yeah, this stuff with Caitlyn,
- 12:56Speaker 2: as we just talked about, which seems to come up
- 12:58Speaker 2: in your life all the time. It seems to be
- 12:59Speaker 2: always hovering around you. It's what people ask about. How
- 13:03Speaker 2: does Dre handle that when other people are asking you
- 13:08Speaker 2: about somebody in your past as she is the mother
- 13:12Speaker 2: of your child.
- 13:13Speaker 5: Yeah, she's always been a champ with all that stuff.
- 13:16Speaker 5: So she gets it. She understands that's how she met me.
- 13:21Speaker 5: I was in this world, and yeah, she handles it perfectly.
- 13:26Speaker 5: I think that's great.
- 13:29Speaker 2: You know, the benefit I have is my wife's never
- 13:31Speaker 2: seen the show, and so that's fantastic. Yeah, she has
- 13:35Speaker 2: no clue what she's She's awesome. You know, there's I
- 13:39Speaker 2: think there's a level of just like once you get
- 13:41Speaker 2: married and once you date for long enough, there's the
- 13:43Speaker 2: trust and the confidence in who you are as a couple,
- 13:45Speaker 2: and then so that stuff she knows it's not my
- 13:48Speaker 2: favorite to be asked about, and so she's like why
- 13:50Speaker 2: would I give him a harder time for something he's
- 13:52Speaker 2: not wanting to ask the answer or talk to.
- 13:56Speaker 6: She's always had that.
- 13:57Speaker 2: And then also she really is just completely naive to
- 14:00Speaker 2: the whole situation, like she has no clue. She has
- 14:02Speaker 2: no clue about the season, about the ending, about the breakups,
- 14:05Speaker 2: about who was involved, like she has no idea.
- 14:08Speaker 6: And I laugh with Ashley about this.
- 14:11Speaker 2: She watches the show with me once in a while,
- 14:13Speaker 2: But I bet in my relationship with Jess, we've talked
- 14:16Speaker 2: about The Bachelor in depth, like hey, how that affect you,
- 14:19Speaker 2: how to make you feel maybe five times, like it's
- 14:22Speaker 2: not a thing in my life with her, like it's
- 14:24Speaker 2: a very so.
- 14:26Speaker 5: And she's just the sweetest kind of soul Jesse.
- 14:30Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, she doesn't want to make my life harder,
- 14:33Speaker 2: which is great. So, but with that being said, there
- 14:37Speaker 2: has been times where like I remember night we were
- 14:39Speaker 2: watching a commercial and there was like a highlight reel
- 14:42Speaker 2: of the Bachelor and there's a kissing scene with Laura
- 14:44Speaker 2: and I and Jess saw it and it did like
- 14:47Speaker 2: affect her, like there was a tangible like gosh, like
- 14:50Speaker 2: I don't I don't love that, And like we talked
- 14:52Speaker 2: about it and and so I guess my fault up
- 14:57Speaker 2: there would be like when Dre sees that stuff because
- 14:59Speaker 2: she has been around you, yeah, since the time on
- 15:02Speaker 2: the show, like she's fine with it.
- 15:06Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean Dre again, we were friends for a
- 15:09Speaker 5: while and she was in a relationship for a while,
- 15:12Speaker 5: so she's always known the girls that I've dated. So
- 15:17Speaker 5: it's always like, yeah, she knows, and like you were
- 15:21Speaker 5: friends for years, and she's probably helped me out talking
- 15:26Speaker 5: through some of these relationships that I've had in the past,
- 15:29Speaker 5: and so I think that she's handling it better than
- 15:33Speaker 5: I probably ever would. And I can't imagine like when
- 15:36Speaker 5: you say, Jess sitting there and she sees a video
- 15:39Speaker 5: of you making out with your ex, that's that's hard
- 15:43Speaker 5: for anybody. Nobody wants to see that.
- 15:46Speaker 3: Yeah, when did things turn romantic with you guys? Because
- 15:49Speaker 3: I know you're both in relationships when you met, so
- 15:51Speaker 3: when it was like, ah, I kind of think you're cute.
- 15:54Speaker 5: This was probably a few years ago, Yeah, two years ago,
- 16:00Speaker 5: two or three years ago. Yeah, we're dating and then
- 16:03Speaker 5: we started dating other people and then dating again, just
- 16:05Speaker 5: kept kind of coming back to one another.
- 16:18Speaker 2: When you look at your life right now. Yeah, obviously,
- 16:23Speaker 2: you know, we can listen to your podcast. I get
- 16:25Speaker 2: to get a guest to get a clear definition of
- 16:27Speaker 2: your relationship with Dre and how long that's gone on for.
- 16:32Speaker 2: But when you look at your life right now and
- 16:34Speaker 2: you know that she is pregnant with your child, is
- 16:36Speaker 2: there anybody else in your life that you're like, gosh,
- 16:40Speaker 2: dang it, why couldn't it be that person? Or when
- 16:43Speaker 2: you found out that Dre was having your child, you're like,
- 16:45Speaker 2: this is great.
- 16:46Speaker 5: Yeah, no, it's great. Absolutely, that's a yeah, come on,
- 16:52Speaker 5: easy question. Good shoulds anybody else?
- 16:57Speaker 2: I'm just trying to get a feeling for where you
- 16:59Speaker 2: go are at in your life together. When you first
- 17:03Speaker 2: found out that she was pregnant, what was that initial
- 17:06Speaker 2: feeling like, Like, be honest, was it just pure excitement
- 17:09Speaker 2: or was it like, oh no and then excitement.
- 17:13Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 17:13Speaker 5: So she came into my house and I said what
- 17:18Speaker 5: is that? And she was holding a box and is
- 17:20Speaker 5: a pregnancy test? And she goes, I'm just doing this
- 17:25Speaker 5: to give myself some peace of mind. You know, it's
- 17:28Speaker 5: been a few days past that time. I should have
- 17:31Speaker 5: came already. And then in that moment, I was like
- 17:34Speaker 5: she is pregnant, like I knew it. So she walked upstairs,
- 17:38Speaker 5: she went to the bathroom, and she's up there for
- 17:41Speaker 5: like ten minutes, and I'm just sitting at the counter
- 17:43Speaker 5: with Walter and I'm like, she's pregnant. I know it's
- 17:46Speaker 5: going to be a positive. And she came downstairs. She
- 17:50Speaker 5: ran downstairs and then grabbed the box and then didn't
- 17:53Speaker 5: say a word and ran back upstairs.
- 17:55Speaker 4: So you don't get another one.
- 17:57Speaker 5: You had to probably grab the directions like confirm. It's
- 18:02Speaker 5: two lines. So I'm like, oh crap. And then she
- 18:06Speaker 5: comes out and she's, you know, holding a test and
- 18:11Speaker 5: when I say it's the faintest line, it's the faintest
- 18:14Speaker 5: line you'd ever seen in your entire life. And I
- 18:16Speaker 5: was like, that's not positive, and she's like that's a line.
- 18:19Speaker 5: I'm like, no, it's not.
- 18:20Speaker 4: And I was like, is the same compochre?
- 18:23Speaker 5: Yeah. I'm like, I'm gonna go to Walmart grab a
- 18:25Speaker 5: few more. I don't think that's accurate, And so I
- 18:30Speaker 5: go down the road. I go to Walmart and I
- 18:32Speaker 5: grab every test in the aisle, Like I'm talking like
- 18:36Speaker 5: the digital ones, the ones that have smiley faces, the
- 18:38Speaker 5: one that have plus signs, like everyone, I grab some
- 18:42Speaker 5: recy's paintpter cups. I see a toy on the way
- 18:45Speaker 5: out that's like a toy car. I grab that, grab
- 18:49Speaker 5: some burgers, and then I came back and then I
- 18:51Speaker 5: just like roll this toy car across the table and
- 18:54Speaker 5: then she's like just stop. And then she took the
- 18:59Speaker 5: test and it was like bank bank bank positive, positive, positive,
- 19:04Speaker 5: And even then I was still like, let's wait until
- 19:07Speaker 5: we actually meet with a doctor, like let's get a
- 19:09Speaker 5: real confirmation. And so we went to this whole process
- 19:15Speaker 5: has been crazy. We went to the doctors and they
- 19:19Speaker 5: said that there was nothing in the uterus. So they
- 19:24Speaker 5: were scanning and they're like, nothing's the uterus, and then
- 19:27Speaker 5: there's a dot there in a fallopian tube, so we
- 19:28Speaker 5: think it's an egg topic pregnancy. It's not viable. Baby
- 19:33Speaker 5: can't survive outside the uterus, so we're gonna have to
- 19:35Speaker 5: give you some medicine and then you'll have to come
- 19:37Speaker 5: in next week to get an abortion. Basically. So obviously
- 19:41Speaker 5: sad about that, some emotions, and then they called back.
- 19:45Speaker 5: The doctor calls back a few hours later, he's like,
- 19:48Speaker 5: hold up, got your results from your blood test? Your
- 19:50Speaker 5: blood has shown like a very strong pregnancy. Maybe it's
- 19:54Speaker 5: just so early that you got it that the egg
- 19:58Speaker 5: hasn't even traveled all the way down yet, So let's
- 20:00Speaker 5: give it forty eight more hours. This was on Friday,
- 20:03Speaker 5: so we waited till Monday, then went to the doctors
- 20:07Speaker 5: and had the ultrasound and there it was smack dab
- 20:11Speaker 5: in the middle, a little dot. Oh yeah, it was wild.
- 20:15Speaker 3: I was picking it up when it was fertilized in
- 20:18Speaker 3: the in the Philippian tube.
- 20:20Speaker 5: So she was like only a few weeks. Yeah, like
- 20:22Speaker 5: the probably the earliest possible time that you could find
- 20:26Speaker 5: out that you were pregnant. That's what she was. Yeah,
- 20:28Speaker 5: and that's why the line was like, so fain, that's
- 20:32Speaker 5: so wild.
- 20:33Speaker 3: Well, okay, so this you obviously were excited because you
- 20:36Speaker 3: were getting racist peanut butter cups, you were getting burgers.
- 20:38Speaker 3: You had no loss of appetite. I think you were
- 20:40Speaker 3: pretty stoked. You're thirty eight, were you were Are you
- 20:43Speaker 3: thinking this is a good time? Are you glad?
- 20:45Speaker 4: Thirty seven?
- 20:46Speaker 6: Thirty seven?
- 20:47Speaker 4: So this is so so sorry?
- 20:49Speaker 3: Are you just like okay, well, you know, it may
- 20:52Speaker 3: have been a surprise, but I'm ready for it.
- 20:55Speaker 5: Yeah, of course, I had like all the emotions and
- 20:58Speaker 5: I think the most. Yeah, I was never freaked out.
- 21:02Speaker 5: I was never like panicking, Like I was like, Okay,
- 21:06Speaker 5: this is I'm a very go with the flow guy
- 21:09Speaker 5: for a lot of things, and like I'm very we'll
- 21:11Speaker 5: figure it out guy for a lot of things. So,
- 21:14Speaker 5: like you said thirty seven, I've always wanted kids, and
- 21:21Speaker 5: it was, yeah, a very good feeling. It was also
- 21:25Speaker 5: kind of a relief. I'm like, hey, my sperm works. Yeah,
- 21:29Speaker 5: this is actually a thing. It's going to happen. Because
- 21:32Speaker 5: you start thinking about it, I'm like, yeah, I'm going
- 21:34Speaker 5: to be fifty years old and my kid's thirteen, Like
- 21:36Speaker 5: that's crazy. So yeah, we've always been positive. Have there
- 21:41Speaker 5: been moments where we're like confused and all that, Yeah,
- 21:43Speaker 5: of course. I think a lot of people probably feel that.
- 21:47Speaker 5: And it's not the traditional way. We're not married, like
- 21:50Speaker 5: you said, but it's twenty twenty three. We'll find the way,
- 21:54Speaker 5: and the most important thing is that the baby is
- 21:57Speaker 5: going to be super loved by a lot of people. Yeah.
- 22:00Speaker 5: I couldn't be excited. I couldn't be more excited.
- 22:02Speaker 6: Let's play a word association game.
- 22:04Speaker 5: Sean All right, Ben, let's see it.
- 22:07Speaker 2: What's the first word that comes to mind when I
- 22:11Speaker 2: repeat your comment and add one word to it? We're
- 22:14Speaker 2: not married yet?
- 22:16Speaker 5: Okay, So you want me to say one word for that?
- 22:23Speaker 2: Yeah, you said we're not married, and I just added yet. Okay,
- 22:27Speaker 2: what's the what's the first word that comes to your mind?
- 22:32Speaker 5: Yeah, I'd say it's accurate. We're not married yet.
- 22:35Speaker 6: Accuracy is the first word. What else you got?
- 22:39Speaker 5: Ummm, you're looking at a big screen right now.
- 22:41Speaker 4: I got one. I got one, I got I got one.
- 22:44Speaker 4: When the baby comes home, his parents will be.
- 22:51Speaker 5: Happy.
- 22:52Speaker 3: Okay.
- 22:52Speaker 4: And I also said he, I don't know.
- 22:54Speaker 5: Everybody's saying that. Every single person the first probably fifteen
- 22:58Speaker 5: to twenty people we asked, what do you think the
- 23:00Speaker 5: gender is? Boy? Every single one of my family members,
- 23:03Speaker 5: her family members and friends have all said boy.
- 23:05Speaker 4: Yeah, I vibe that.
- 23:07Speaker 3: And you're waiting, You're you're waiting till the day, right, Yeah.
- 23:10Speaker 5: I said on my podcast, actually I said that you
- 23:14Speaker 5: and Jared's gender reveal was my favorite one.
- 23:18Speaker 3: The fact that we'd like we were just I was
- 23:20Speaker 3: just throwing up the picture.
- 23:22Speaker 5: You guys just opened up a letter together from the
- 23:24Speaker 5: doctors and read it together. Isn't that right?
- 23:27Speaker 4: That was for Jade and Tanner.
- 23:29Speaker 3: Oh yeah, we did it on behalf of Jade and
- 23:33Speaker 3: Tanner because we opened up their envelope to do their
- 23:37Speaker 3: gender reveal for our gender reveal.
- 23:39Speaker 4: No, Jared and I didn't do.
- 23:40Speaker 3: One because I was just like, I don't want to
- 23:43Speaker 3: do anything in public.
- 23:44Speaker 4: I don't need people to see my reaction to this.
- 23:46Speaker 5: Yeah yeah, I like that, just like I think reveals
- 23:50Speaker 5: are getting pretty wild.
- 23:53Speaker 4: It's the thing.
- 23:54Speaker 5: Yeah, like, hey, there's no better gender reveal than being like,
- 23:58Speaker 5: there it is the boy.
- 24:01Speaker 2: That's what we got going on. Well, Sean, we'll put
- 24:04Speaker 2: you off the hot seat here. I do want to
- 24:06Speaker 2: say congratulations to you Andre on this massive announcement, this
- 24:12Speaker 2: massive life step.
- 24:14Speaker 6: It is great.
- 24:15Speaker 2: I think the reason I'm digging is it's just good
- 24:17Speaker 2: to know that you're happy, that you're confident in this,
- 24:22Speaker 2: that she's happy and confident in this, that no matter
- 24:25Speaker 2: where your relationship takes you from this point forward, that
- 24:29Speaker 2: child has two people very excited for it to come
- 24:31Speaker 2: into this world again. You can listen to Sean's podcast
- 24:35Speaker 2: to get a lot more details on their relationship, and
- 24:40Speaker 2: that's that podcast is called in the booth. But for
- 24:43Speaker 2: the sake of almost famous, we are excited for you
- 24:47Speaker 2: and congratulations on this massive life step.
- 24:50Speaker 5: Yeah. No, I appreciate that. It's very kind. Word's ben,
- 24:53Speaker 5: It's not. I don't want anybody to think that it's
- 24:55Speaker 5: some random girl that I met at Honky Tomk Central.
- 24:58Speaker 5: My private life. Very proud of it. And Drain and
- 25:02Speaker 5: I have been very close in relationship and we're expecting
- 25:05Speaker 5: the baby in December, so we're excited.
- 25:08Speaker 4: How's she been? How has it been for her?
- 25:12Speaker 5: Good? She was pretty sick. She had a lot of
- 25:15Speaker 5: morning the first trimester.
- 25:17Speaker 3: Yeah, I heard that. A couple of trips of the
- 25:19Speaker 3: R I can. I can feel her.
- 25:20Speaker 5: On this, Yeah, a couple of trips and then but
- 25:23Speaker 5: now she feels great in the second trimester, right, Like
- 25:26Speaker 5: I guess that's when women feel amazing.
- 25:28Speaker 4: Some do I did it, Some do.
- 25:35Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 25:36Speaker 4: Bad situation.
- 25:37Speaker 2: I would come on the podcast and Sean and be like, hey,
- 25:39Speaker 2: actually you look beautiful, and she'd be.
- 25:41Speaker 6: Like, stop at I do not look beautiful. I do
- 25:43Speaker 6: not feel beautiful.
- 25:44Speaker 3: I do not get and this is the only hour
- 25:47Speaker 3: where I try not to throw up in front of you.
- 25:49Speaker 3: There were a couple of times where we had to yeah.
- 25:52Speaker 5: Well Ben, you're next, buddy.
- 25:54Speaker 4: I hope it is Ben's time. I'm very excited.
- 25:57Speaker 3: I'm excited because Ben got a dog and off for
- 26:00Speaker 3: years of me being like, ah, you got to understand
- 26:03Speaker 3: what it.
- 26:03Speaker 4: Feels like to have an adult dog, and that he did.
- 26:06Speaker 3: And then he understands, and now I'm excited for him
- 26:08Speaker 3: to understand the feeling of having a child. And I'm
- 26:10Speaker 3: very excited for you too, Sean. I feel like you
- 26:13Speaker 3: too are gonna be great fathers.

- 26:34Speaker 2: hearing about his journey now into fatherhood, hearing about the
- 26:39Speaker 2: mother of their child, and also talking about well what
- 26:43Speaker 2: has Sean been doing since the breakup with Kaitlin. It's
- 26:46Speaker 2: been a great interview. A great episode. In fact, Ashley,
- 26:49Speaker 2: you know what, this reminded me.
- 26:50Speaker 4: Of the first interview we do with Sean.
