Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: Be careful who you let bless you. Because people love
- 0:04Speaker 1: to say, if it wouldn't have been for me. He said,
- 0:08Speaker 1: I don't want anything at your hands. I'm going to
- 0:10Speaker 1: give all of it back to you. Unless you walk
- 0:13Speaker 1: away and say, it was you that made me rich.
- 0:16Speaker 1: There are some blessings you ought to turn down. Faith
- 0:19Speaker 1: doesn't just accept. Faith rejects.
- 0:26Speaker 2: This is the potter's tongue.
- 0:31Speaker 1: Greetings, brothers and sisters, in the name of Jesus Christ
- 0:34Speaker 1: the King. We're sharing a word from the Lord that
- 0:36Speaker 1: I believe you really need to hear. It is a
- 0:39Speaker 1: very powerful illustration of a very biblical concept. The concept
- 0:44Speaker 1: is tithing. The message is turn it. You can turn
- 0:48Speaker 1: it all on a dime. It's no incident that we're
- 0:51Speaker 1: coming into harvest season. We're coming into that time of
- 0:54Speaker 1: year where farmers are bringing in the sheaves and gathering
- 0:57Speaker 1: in and filling up the barns. You need to be
- 1:01Speaker 1: in harvest season, but you can't be in harvest season
- 1:05Speaker 1: if you haven't been into seed time. There is a
- 1:07Speaker 1: structure and a methodology. I say there is a revelation
- 1:11Speaker 1: to tithing. Let me share this word with you. It
- 1:14Speaker 1: will bless you, not just bless your church, not your preacher.
- 1:17Speaker 1: I'm talking about you. God wants to bless you. He
- 1:21Speaker 1: wants to open up the windows of heaven. The Bible
- 1:23Speaker 1: said floodgates are waiting on you to obey God. Take
- 1:27Speaker 1: a look at this. I love this scripture, acknowledge him
- 1:30Speaker 1: in all thy ways and he shall direct thy path.
- 1:33Speaker 1: When I bring my tithe, I have acknowledged that it
- 1:36Speaker 1: is not my boss, it is not my job, it
- 1:39Speaker 1: is not my company, it's not my business, it's not
- 1:41Speaker 1: my customer that blessed me. It is saying, God, as
- 1:44Speaker 1: a Christian, I am aware that they may have been
- 1:47Speaker 1: the pipe, but you're the source that, oh, you do
- 1:50Speaker 1: understand what I'm saying?
- 1:51Speaker 3: Amen.
- 1:52Speaker 1: And I acknowledge you. And I cleave as a believer
- 1:56Speaker 1: to that, acknowledge him in all that way that he
- 1:58Speaker 1: should direct that path because frankly, many times, it is
- 2:01Speaker 1: not an issue of needing more money. I need more direction.
- 2:07Speaker 1: You need divine direction so that you can do the
- 2:11Speaker 1: right things, hook up with the right people, not expend
- 2:14Speaker 1: your energies in things that are not profitable. You don't
- 2:17Speaker 1: necessarily need more resources. You need better direction. Number two,
- 2:25Speaker 1: through it we bring our finances up under God's protection.
- 2:27Speaker 1: If you didn't write that down, I want you to
- 2:29Speaker 1: be sure that you get that out of the dime.
- 2:31Speaker 1: You bring your finances up under God's protection. Before I
- 2:34Speaker 1: finish today, I'm really going to wear that out. Number three,
- 2:37Speaker 1: through it we cast down any struggle we have to
- 2:41Speaker 1: worship the gift over the giver. Well, every time I
- 2:44Speaker 1: bring my tithe, and particularly as my income goes up,
- 2:48Speaker 1: it becomes more important and more difficult to bring the
- 2:51Speaker 1: tithe because I am breaking a stronger spirit over the money.
- 2:55Speaker 1: Money is not evil. Money is not evil.
- 2:59Speaker 3: Let me see.
- 3:00Speaker 1: Do I have some money on me? Yes, I do.
- 3:04Speaker 1: Thank the Lord. I'd hate to teach this and not
- 3:05Speaker 1: have no money on me. That'd look bad. It's just bad.
- 3:10Speaker 1: This $ 20 bill is not evil. It could help somebody.
- 3:15Speaker 1: It could feed the hungry. It could clothe the naked.
- 3:19Speaker 1: It could help do a whole lot of things. It
- 3:21Speaker 1: could bless a child. It could be some support to
- 3:24Speaker 1: the widow. This money is not evil. It could also
- 3:26Speaker 1: buy me some drugs. It could get me high. It
- 3:29Speaker 1: could get me a friend at 2 o'clock in the morning.
- 3:32Speaker 1: It could do it. Money is not evil. It's what
- 3:39Speaker 1: you do with it that's evil. In fact, the Bible
- 3:43Speaker 1: said money answers all things. Simply put, money gives you options.
- 3:48Speaker 1: It just simply gives you options. It gives you options.
- 3:51Speaker 1: You have options. You can do more. You can move
- 3:54Speaker 1: more easily. You have more options at your disposal when
- 3:56Speaker 1: you have finances. Money is not evil. The Bible said
- 3:59Speaker 1: the love of money is the root of all evil.
- 4:03Speaker 1: It can become an idol in your life. God blessed
- 4:06Speaker 1: the children of Israel with the wealth of Egypt. It
- 4:09Speaker 1: was them that turned it into an idol. God gave
- 4:13Speaker 1: them the goal, they turned the goal into an idol.
- 4:16Speaker 1: And you can easily turn your income into an idol.
- 4:21Speaker 1: And as you go up, one of the ways you
- 4:23Speaker 1: keep yourself from trusting in your resources is to bring
- 4:28Speaker 1: the tithe. Because when I bring the tithe, I cast
- 4:31Speaker 1: down every idol. I'm saying, God, you can trust me
- 4:35Speaker 1: to bless me again because no matter how high I get,
- 4:39Speaker 1: I will put you first. And it is a personal
- 4:44Speaker 1: consecration of mine, particularly as you go up. Because I
- 4:48Speaker 1: told you the real challenge really wasn't to pay tithes
- 4:52Speaker 1: or welfare or an unemployment check. Because I was broke anyway.
- 4:57Speaker 1: You make a $ 200 check a month, you're broke anyway.
- 5:00Speaker 1: You might well believe God, you're coming, whoo, yes Lord.
- 5:02Speaker 1: You throw your 20 on the altar because if he
- 5:04Speaker 1: don't bring you out, you're dead in the water anyway.
- 5:08Speaker 1: But when God starts blessing you, that's when the tempter
- 5:12Speaker 1: comes against you. When God puts you in your garden
- 5:15Speaker 1: of Eden, puts you, positions you in the place that
- 5:19Speaker 1: he has created for you. Do you know that God
- 5:21Speaker 1: has created a garden for you to live in? A
- 5:23Speaker 1: utopia of sustained blessing. And the closer you get to
- 5:26Speaker 1: getting in the place that God has designed for you,
- 5:29Speaker 1: the more the slithering serpent snake is going to confront
- 5:32Speaker 1: you and try to talk you out of the place. Hallelujah.
- 5:40Speaker 1: New levels bring new devils. Are you following what I'm saying?
- 5:43Speaker 1: I'm going to get to some good stuff. Get your Bibles.
- 5:46Speaker 1: Go to Genesis 14, 12 through 24. Genesis 14, 12
- 5:52Speaker 1: through 24. We're studying this morning. We're not shouting. We're
- 5:57Speaker 1: not hooping. We're not falling out. We're not screaming. We're studying.
- 6:01Speaker 1: Pastor Twiggs is going to read for me.
- 6:06Speaker 2: And they took Lot, Abram's brother's son. who dwelt in Sodom,
- 6:11Speaker 2: and his goods, and departed. And there came one that
- 6:15Speaker 2: had escaped, and told Abram the Hebrew, for he dwelt
- 6:19Speaker 2: in the plain of Mamre, the Amorite, brother of Eschol,
- 6:24Speaker 2: and brother of Aner. And these were confederate with Abram.
- 6:29Speaker 2: And when Abram heard that his brother was taken captive,
- 6:32Speaker 2: he armed his trained servants, born in his own house,
- 6:36Speaker 2: three hundred and eighteen, And pursued them unto Dan. And
- 6:41Speaker 2: he divided himself against them. He and his servants by night.
- 6:46Speaker 2: And smote them. And pursued them unto Hobah. Which is
- 6:50Speaker 2: on the left hand of Damascus. And he brought back
- 6:54Speaker 2: all the goods. And also brought again his brother Lot.
- 6:58Speaker 2: And his goods. And the women also. And the people.
- 7:03Speaker 2: And the king of Sodom. Went out to meet him
- 7:06Speaker 2: after his return. from the slaughter of Cherolorama and of
- 7:10Speaker 2: the kings that were with him at the valley of Sheba,
- 7:14Speaker 2: which is the Kingsdale. And Melchizedek, king of Salem, brought
- 7:20Speaker 2: forth bread and wine, and he was the priest of
- 7:24Speaker 2: the Most High God. And he blessed him and said,
- 7:28Speaker 2: Blessed be Abram of the Most High God, possessor of
- 7:31Speaker 2: heaven and earth, and blessed be the Most High God,
- 7:37Speaker 2: Stop right there.
- 7:43Speaker 1: Abraham has won this battle with a bunch of servants.
- 7:47Speaker 1: He took a bunch of servants and went out and
- 7:50Speaker 1: fought a battle and won. You know you're anointed when
- 7:53Speaker 1: you can take less and do more with it. He
- 7:58Speaker 1: went out and got the victory, but on his way
- 8:00Speaker 1: back home, the Bible said that he stopped and encountered
- 8:03Speaker 1: this Old Testament biblical character, Melchizedek, which is a total
- 8:07Speaker 1: picture of Christ himself. Without mother or father, you read
- 8:10Speaker 1: over in Hebrews, without beginning or end of days, you
- 8:13Speaker 1: begin to trace back Melchizedek. You begin to understand that
- 8:15Speaker 1: he was both priest. and king and as he worships
- 8:19Speaker 1: him he brings the tithes and the bible said he
- 8:21Speaker 1: blessed and he and blessed be the most high god
- 8:25Speaker 1: which has delivered thine enemies into thy hand and he
- 8:27Speaker 1: gave him tithes on the net oh i'm sorry he
- 8:32Speaker 1: gave him tithes of all he gave him tithes of
- 8:35Speaker 1: everything he had taken in keep on.
- 8:39Speaker 2: And the king of sodom said unto abram give me
- 8:41Speaker 2: the persons and take the goods to thyself And Abram
- 8:45Speaker 2: said to the king of Sodom, I have lift up
- 8:48Speaker 2: mine hand unto the Lord, the most high God, the
- 8:51Speaker 2: possessor of heaven and earth, that I will not take
- 8:55Speaker 2: from a thread even to a shoe latchet, and that
- 8:58Speaker 2: I will not take anything that is thine, lest thou
- 9:02Speaker 2: shouldest say, I have made Abram rich.
- 9:05Speaker 1: This right here is great wisdom for people who are
- 9:09Speaker 1: on their way up. Be careful who you let bless you.
- 9:16Speaker 1: Because people love to say if it wouldn't have been
- 9:18Speaker 1: for me. He said I don't want anything at your hands.
- 9:23Speaker 1: I'm going to give all of it back to you.
- 9:25Speaker 1: Unless you walk away and say it was you that
- 9:28Speaker 1: made me rich. There are some blessings you ought to
- 9:30Speaker 1: turn down. Faith doesn't just accept. Faith rejects. Faith doesn't
- 9:39Speaker 1: just accept. Give me, give me, give me. My name
- 9:41Speaker 1: is Jimmy. That doesn't necessarily mean you have great faith.
- 9:44Speaker 1: It takes faith to say no. To some blessings that
- 9:48Speaker 1: look like they're easy and they're quick, but they're not divine.
- 9:51Speaker 1: To be discriminative in who you allow to be your resource.
- 9:56Speaker 1: If it's not from God, you don't want it.
- 10:01Speaker 3: Still to come on the potter's.
- 10:03Speaker 1: Touch consequently because nobody gave to you you don't think
- 10:07Speaker 1: generationally so you're talking to a god about blessings that
- 10:12Speaker 1: if god ever takes you serious he knows you're not
- 10:14Speaker 1: going to live long enough to hold all the stuff
- 10:17Speaker 1: he's going to give you so if you don't start
- 10:19Speaker 1: thinking generationally the conversation is over Until you get a
- 10:24Speaker 1: passion for your children and to see the blessing of
- 10:27Speaker 1: the Lord fall on your child, you're not ready to
- 10:30Speaker 1: talk to God because God said he got too much
- 10:34Speaker 1: for you.
- 10:36Speaker 3: God longs not just to provide all you need, but
- 10:39Speaker 3: for your whole family and for 1,000 generations to come.
- 10:42Speaker 1: You will live and die and not spend up all
- 10:45Speaker 1: the blessing that God's going to release upon you and
- 10:48Speaker 1: upon your children and upon your children's children.
- 10:51Speaker 3: He supplied more than enough in the Garden of Eden,
- 10:54Speaker 3: and that is still God's desire for you today. For
- 10:57Speaker 3: helping us reach others with your best gift of any size,
- 10:59Speaker 3: you will receive a Beyond the Blessing DVD. Just visit
- 11:02Speaker 3: our website or call 1-800-BISHOP-2.
- 11:05Speaker 1: Adam had to think himself special. He had to feel like,
- 11:09Speaker 1: this is where I live. I dwell in the place
- 11:12Speaker 1: of abundance.
- 11:13Speaker 3: When your gift is $ 75 or more, We will include
- 11:16Speaker 3: Bishop Jake's many book, 1,000 Generations of Blessing. However, when
- 11:20Speaker 3: your gift is $ 150 or more, we will also add
- 11:23Speaker 3: Bishop Jake's four message DVD, 1,000 Generations of Blessing, along
- 11:27Speaker 3: with an inspirational poster set. Let us help change the
- 11:30Speaker 3: direction of your legacy for 1,000 generations.
- 11:40Speaker 1: I want to get into generational blessings. Look at Genesis 15,
- 11:42Speaker 1: 1 through 4.
- 11:47Speaker 2: The word of the Lord came unto Abram in a vision, saying,
- 11:50Speaker 2: Fear not, Abram.
- 11:51Speaker 1: Wait a minute. After these things, after what things? After
- 11:53Speaker 1: he paid tithe to Melchizedek. After he had told the
- 11:58Speaker 1: king of Sodom, No, you take your money back, lest
- 12:00Speaker 1: you say you made me rich. After these things, after
- 12:04Speaker 1: this sacrifice in his life. See, I don't want you
- 12:07Speaker 1: to bypass these things because you got to know what
- 12:09Speaker 1: things because you want this to work for you. After
- 12:11Speaker 1: these things, the word of the Lord came unto Abram
- 12:13Speaker 1: in a vision, saying, Stop right there. Fear not. Fear not.
- 12:17Speaker 1: Fear not. Stop right there. Fear not. Do you have
- 12:20Speaker 1: the courage to be blessed? I told you last week
- 12:27Speaker 1: that many people self-sabotage their own success. They don't even
- 12:30Speaker 1: know that they're sabotaging their success because you've been surrounded
- 12:34Speaker 1: by people who are enabling your poverty by their mentality.
- 12:38Speaker 1: And their mentality has defined you and contaminated you. And
- 12:42Speaker 1: even though you say you want to be blessed... You
- 12:44Speaker 1: keep doing things to stop you from being blessed like
- 12:47Speaker 1: getting in debt, maxing out your credit cards, buying stuff
- 12:50Speaker 1: that has no profit in it because that curse mentality
- 12:53Speaker 1: has permeated your attitude to the degree that you are
- 12:57Speaker 1: subconsciously taking your blessing and putting it in things that
- 13:00Speaker 1: are going down rather than to invest it in things
- 13:03Speaker 1: that are going up because you don't have the courage
- 13:05Speaker 1: to be controversial. You want everybody at the old barbershop
- 13:08Speaker 1: to still be glad to see you when you come in.
- 13:10Speaker 1: And so you keep... falling back down to their level
- 13:13Speaker 1: so that they will lack you. And the first thing
- 13:15Speaker 1: God told to somebody he was going to bless was
- 13:17Speaker 1: fear not. Why did he say that? Because it takes
- 13:19Speaker 1: courage to be blessed. Oh, you don't hear what I'm saying.
- 13:23Speaker 1: I said it takes courage to be blessed. I'm not
- 13:26Speaker 1: talking about this false prosperity that I see around here
- 13:29Speaker 1: in Dallas, people wearing mink coats and living in trailers.
- 13:32Speaker 1: That's not what I'm talking about. I'm talking about... I'm
- 13:42Speaker 1: not talking about the look of being blessed. I'm talking
- 13:44Speaker 1: about the reality of being blessed and to have your
- 13:47Speaker 1: priorities in the right place and to be a balanced
- 13:49Speaker 1: and a stable-minded person. It takes courage to do that.
- 13:54Speaker 1: Fear not. Go ahead.
- 13:56Speaker 2: I am thy shield.
- 13:58Speaker 1: I am your protection. Why do they say that? Because
- 14:01Speaker 1: you're going to get darts shot at you. When you
- 14:04Speaker 1: start being successful, people are going to hate you because...
- 14:10Speaker 1: You got to be tough to be blessed. Can you
- 14:13Speaker 1: stand to be blessed? Can you stand the level of
- 14:17Speaker 1: attack you're going to come up under? Do you have
- 14:19Speaker 1: the faith to trust God to cover your back? God
- 14:26Speaker 1: told Abram, fear not, I got you covered. Go ahead.
- 14:29Speaker 2: And thy exceeding great reward.
- 14:31Speaker 1: And I am your exceeding great reward. You got to
- 14:35Speaker 1: underline that. Exceeding is infinite. God says there's no limit.
- 14:41Speaker 1: To how much I reward you. Now if I shut
- 14:44Speaker 1: up right there. And you got that right there. It
- 14:46Speaker 1: would be worth coming through the traffic. Parking on the ramp.
- 14:50Speaker 1: Having to take your shoes off and walk. Or whatever
- 14:52Speaker 1: you had to do to get in here. God said I.
- 14:54Speaker 1: There is no limit. Exceeding is an infinite word without ending.
- 14:59Speaker 1: God said I am thy exceeding. Great reward. There is
- 15:03Speaker 1: no limit to what I'm going to give you. There
- 15:05Speaker 1: is no stopping me from blessing you. You gave up
- 15:08Speaker 1: something for me. Let me tell you, since you gave
- 15:11Speaker 1: what was in your hand, let me show you what
- 15:13Speaker 1: was in my hand. I am thy exceeding great reward. Oh, God.
- 15:24Speaker 1: If you ever believe what I just said, it would
- 15:26Speaker 1: forever change your life. If you stop putting limits and
- 15:30Speaker 1: boundaries on what God could do. God said, I am
- 15:34Speaker 1: your exceeding great reward. God blessed Abraham so much that
- 15:39Speaker 1: Abraham died and couldn't use all of his blessings. His
- 15:44Speaker 1: descendants are still spending out of that word exceeding. I
- 15:52Speaker 1: can take you up to New York. I can take
- 15:53Speaker 1: you around Hollywood. I can take you around CEOs in
- 15:57Speaker 1: major facilities and show you Jewish descendants that are still
- 16:01Speaker 1: spending out of that exchange. I'm telling you, if you
- 16:04Speaker 1: get the word I'm teaching down in your spirit, you
- 16:07Speaker 1: will live and die and not spend up all the
- 16:09Speaker 1: blessing that God's going to release upon you and upon
- 16:12Speaker 1: your children and upon your children's children, saith the Lord. Oh,
- 16:22Speaker 1: you shouldn't have come this morning because I'm telling you,
- 16:24Speaker 1: I'm ready for you today. Read on, my sister.
- 16:27Speaker 2: And Abram said, Lord God, what wilt thou give me
- 16:32Speaker 2: seeing I go childless?
- 16:33Speaker 1: He says, what can you see? Abram, first of all,
- 16:35Speaker 1: when he was saying this, Abram wasn't broke. Abram had
- 16:39Speaker 1: a little something to begin with. He said, but my
- 16:42Speaker 1: problem is, it's not with money or resources. He said,
- 16:45Speaker 1: I'm also childless. Read on.
- 16:48Speaker 2: And the steward of my house is this Eliezer of Damascus.
- 16:52Speaker 2: And Abram said, Behold, to me thou hast given no seed.
- 16:56Speaker 2: And lo, one born in my house is mine heir.
- 16:59Speaker 2: And behold, the word of the Lord came unto him, saying,
- 17:02Speaker 2: This shall not be thine heir, but he that shall
- 17:05Speaker 2: come forth out of thine own bowels shall be thine heir.
- 17:09Speaker 1: Oh, I can't talk about it. If I talk about it,
- 17:11Speaker 1: I'll be here all day. First of all, you can't
- 17:14Speaker 1: have true success without a successor. You've got to start
- 17:17Speaker 1: thinking generationally or you're going to miss the point. God
- 17:20Speaker 1: starts talking to Abraham about being his exceeding great reward.
- 17:23Speaker 1: Abraham immediately starts talking about his son. See, one of
- 17:27Speaker 1: the great things that Abraham had with God is that
- 17:29Speaker 1: Abraham thought like God. He had a God mentality. He
- 17:35Speaker 1: was thinking generationally. If you're going to be my exceeding
- 17:38Speaker 1: great reward, let me bring up to you this issue
- 17:40Speaker 1: I had with my child. Because I've already lived half
- 17:43Speaker 1: of my life and I'll never be able to spin
- 17:45Speaker 1: to the bottom of the check you just wrote. I
- 17:47Speaker 1: need an air to catch. Oh, young people sit tight
- 17:55Speaker 1: because I think you have no idea who you are.
- 17:58Speaker 1: I don't think you have a clue who you are.
- 18:01Speaker 1: I don't think you understand that your mom and daddy
- 18:03Speaker 1: are the cup, but baby, you're the saucer. And when
- 18:06Speaker 1: we overflow, you're supposed to be there at home plate
- 18:10Speaker 1: to catch the exceedingly abundantly above all that she met.
- 18:14Speaker 1: The blessing that I don't have room to receive is
- 18:16Speaker 1: supposed to fall on you. But, but young people, you
- 18:20Speaker 1: have to position yourself. Nobody's leaving you nothing if you
- 18:27Speaker 1: act a fool. One of the curses that is killing
- 18:39Speaker 1: our generation is that because most of us start from
- 18:43Speaker 1: ground level zero. We start out with nothing. All over again.
- 18:48Speaker 1: Your parents started with nothing. They died and left you nothing.
- 18:51Speaker 1: You go back to zero. I have to start over again.
- 18:53Speaker 1: That is a curse. The curse of not having anything left. Consequently,
- 18:59Speaker 1: because nobody gave to you, you don't think generationally. So
- 19:04Speaker 1: you're talking to a God about blessings that if God
- 19:07Speaker 1: ever takes you serious, he knows you're not going to
- 19:10Speaker 1: live long enough to hold all the stuff he's going
- 19:12Speaker 1: to give you. So if you don't start thinking generationally,
- 19:16Speaker 1: the conversation is over. Until you get a passion for
- 19:20Speaker 1: your children and to see the blessing of the Lord
- 19:23Speaker 1: fall on your child, you're not ready to talk to
- 19:26Speaker 1: God because God said he got too much for you.
- 19:42Speaker 1: Glory to God. forward thinking people. are positioning themselves to
- 19:51Speaker 1: be blessed because you're thinking in terms of what are
- 19:55Speaker 1: the next few moves. Anywhere you use that principle, you
- 19:59Speaker 1: will be blessed. I don't care how good you are
- 20:02Speaker 1: in the moment. If you fail to have preparation for
- 20:04Speaker 1: the next moment, you forfeit the blessing. Write the vision.
- 20:09Speaker 1: Make it plain. Let him that read it run thereby.
- 20:12Speaker 1: What is next? What is next and who is worthy
- 20:20Speaker 1: of it? Are you getting this? Glory to God. God says,
- 20:37Speaker 1: I will open up the channel between you and I.
- 20:39Speaker 1: I will open up the channel between you and I.
- 20:43Speaker 1: This is what God does on a dime. On a
- 20:47Speaker 1: dime or for every dollar. God says, I will open
- 20:49Speaker 1: up the channel between you and I. In other words,
- 20:52Speaker 1: I will open the windows of heaven. Simply put, obedience
- 20:57Speaker 1: opens up the heavens. Obedience opens up the heavens. Obedience
- 21:05Speaker 1: opens up the heavens. obedience opens up the heavens. You
- 21:10Speaker 1: could be shouting in front of closed heavens. Because it
- 21:18Speaker 1: is not what you say that opens up the windows
- 21:20Speaker 1: of heaven. It is what you do that opens up
- 21:22Speaker 1: the windows of heaven. Obedience opens up the windows of heaven.
- 21:26Speaker 1: So God says, number one, this is what I'll do
- 21:28Speaker 1: for a dime. God says, I will open up the
- 21:30Speaker 1: channel between me and you. When I start talking about
- 21:32Speaker 1: obedience opens up the windows of heaven, Consider Matthew 3, 16,
- 21:36Speaker 1: where Jesus was baptized. And the Bible says straightway, when
- 21:38Speaker 1: he came up out of the water, God opened up
- 21:41Speaker 1: the heaven. And Stephen, who would not denounce the name
- 21:43Speaker 1: of Christ in Acts 7, 54 through 56, the Bible
- 21:47Speaker 1: said that as Stephen was being stoned and he kept
- 21:49Speaker 1: his word before God, that the heavens opened up. Obedience
- 21:53Speaker 1: opens up the windows of heaven. That's all you got
- 21:56Speaker 1: to do to open up the windows of heaven is
- 21:57Speaker 1: just obey him. Obedience opens up the windows of heaven.
- 22:01Speaker 1: If you ever get tired of shouting in front of
- 22:03Speaker 1: closed windows, obedience will open it up. Number two, God says,
- 22:11Speaker 1: I will dispense what I have withheld. I will dispense
- 22:20Speaker 1: what I have withheld. In other words, I will pour
- 22:26Speaker 1: you out a blessing. It is not where you bring
- 22:28Speaker 1: the tithe and I say, let me see what I'm
- 22:31Speaker 1: going to do to bless him. Look at that roller.
- 22:34Speaker 1: Let me see what I can do to bless him.
- 22:36Speaker 1: God said, no, I already got it. But when I
- 22:40Speaker 1: see you do what I told you to do, I
- 22:42Speaker 1: will dispense what I withheld. Are you following what I'm saying?
- 22:48Speaker 1: Anybody want what God is withholding? God says, I will
- 22:52Speaker 1: dispense what I was held. If you want to know
- 22:54Speaker 1: what he's withholding, Jeremiah 29, 11, says God has something
- 22:58Speaker 1: in mind for you. That you might have an expected end.
- 23:02Speaker 1: That God has already planned for you to win in
- 23:04Speaker 1: the end. And God says, I can't dispense it until
- 23:06Speaker 1: you obey me. 1 Corinthians 2, 1 Corinthians chapter 2,
- 23:12Speaker 1: verse 6 through 12. Oh, I wish I had time
- 23:15Speaker 1: to really do this. First Corinthians chapter two, verse six
- 23:19Speaker 1: through 12 says, eyes have not seen, ears have not heard,
- 23:22Speaker 1: neither have entered into the heart of man the things
- 23:24Speaker 1: that God has in store for them to love it.
- 23:25Speaker 1: But when you read the whole six through 12, it
- 23:27Speaker 1: even deals with and references the cross. Had the princes
- 23:31Speaker 1: of this world known what they were doing, they would
- 23:33Speaker 1: have never crucified the Lord. And it begins to talk
- 23:35Speaker 1: about what God does when you obey his word. Even
- 23:39Speaker 1: when people try to sabotage you, God will break the
- 23:42Speaker 1: curse and turn it all around and release what is
- 23:45Speaker 1: withheld in your life. Are you hearing what I'm saying
- 23:47Speaker 1: to you? No, this is good. Yes, sir. See, when
- 23:56Speaker 1: it brings the cross into the conversation, it starts on
- 23:59Speaker 1: about the things that God has in store for them
- 24:01Speaker 1: that love him, but it has been revealed unto us
- 24:03Speaker 1: by his spirit. The reason that it brings the cross
- 24:05Speaker 1: into it. Do you understand the cross was an offering? Oh,
- 24:09Speaker 1: they're just making everything offering today. Read Hebrews 9, 14.
- 24:14Speaker 1: Read Hebrews 9, 28. Read Hebrews 10, 12. Read Hebrews 11, 17. Again,
- 24:20Speaker 1: Hebrews chapter 9, verse 14 and verse 28. Hebrews chapter 10,
- 24:25Speaker 1: verse 12, as well as Hebrews chapter 11, verse 17,
- 24:28Speaker 1: all tell you that the cross was an offering. That's
- 24:33Speaker 1: why the grave couldn't hold it. Ha, ha, ha. I
- 24:38Speaker 1: said the cross was an offering. That's why the grave
- 24:41Speaker 1: couldn't hold it. Now to everybody who ever gave an offering,
- 24:45Speaker 1: gave a tithe, you understand what I'm saying? The grave
- 24:47Speaker 1: cannot hold it. It may hold you three days, but
- 24:50Speaker 1: it can't hold you any longer than that. It's going
- 24:52Speaker 1: to have to give it back. There's going to be
- 24:54Speaker 1: a resurrection breaking forth in your life. Some of you
- 24:57Speaker 1: have had everything resurrected but your money. You got your peace.
- 25:00Speaker 1: You got your joy. You got your salvation. You got
- 25:03Speaker 1: your praise. And for you, the last step is your finances.
- 25:06Speaker 1: But if you get this word, the same God that
- 25:09Speaker 1: resurrected your life and brought you and turned you around
- 25:12Speaker 1: and resurrected your mind will resurrect your money. I believe
- 25:16Speaker 1: God for resurrection in your financial life in the name
- 25:20Speaker 1: of the Lord. Not so you can ride around in
- 25:22Speaker 1: a golden Porsche and drink Kool-Aid out of a Goblet.
- 25:26Speaker 1: But so that you can send your kids to college.
- 25:28Speaker 1: So that you can loan and not borrow. So that
- 25:30Speaker 1: you can be the head and not the tail. So
- 25:32Speaker 1: that we can finally get our act together. Until the
- 25:35Speaker 1: kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our
- 25:38Speaker 1: God and of his Christ. Away with this foolishness that
- 25:41Speaker 1: the only people who are blessed in our community is
- 25:43Speaker 1: the pimps and the drug dealers. The devil is alive.
- 25:47Speaker 1: You're not going to tell me that Satan is better
- 25:49Speaker 1: to his followers than God is to his. God said,
- 25:53Speaker 1: I swear I'll bless you. I'll bless you on a dime.
- 26:08Speaker 1: Lay your hands on your neighbor and say, God is
- 26:10Speaker 1: holding something that he wants to release in your life
- 26:15Speaker 1: this year. Let me go deeper. I got to hear it.
- 26:24Speaker 1: I could shout. I could shout. I could shout. My
- 26:27Speaker 1: toes are tingling. My gums are jerking. I could shout.
- 26:31Speaker 1: Something is about to happen. I feel it in my spirit.
- 26:33Speaker 1: I feel it in my soul. Something is about to
- 26:36Speaker 1: happen in here. Shout hallelujah. Hey, I've got more for
- 26:42Speaker 1: you in just a moment.
- 26:45Speaker 3: God longs not just to provide all you need, but
- 26:47Speaker 3: for your whole family and for 1,000 generations to come.
- 26:51Speaker 1: You will live and die and not spend up all
- 26:54Speaker 1: the blessing that God's going to release upon you and
- 26:56Speaker 1: upon your children and upon your children's children.
- 27:00Speaker 3: He supplied more than enough in the Garden of Eden,
- 27:03Speaker 3: and that is still God's desire for you today. For

- 27:14Speaker 1: Adam had to think himself special. He had to feel
- 27:18Speaker 1: like this is where I live. I dwell in the
- 27:21Speaker 1: place of abundance.
- 27:22Speaker 3: When your gift is $ 75 or more, we will include

- 27:39Speaker 3: direction of your legacy for 1000 Generations.
- 27:44Speaker 1: I'm out of time. I've got to stop there. I
- 27:46Speaker 1: know this is a big subject. I know it has
- 27:49Speaker 1: been an abused subject. I know it has been a
- 27:53Speaker 1: subject that people are confused about. But I also know
- 27:55Speaker 1: that there is revelation in it and there is a
- 27:58Speaker 1: reason that God has allowed you to hear this word.
- 28:02Speaker 1: I pray that you will obey because the word only
- 28:05Speaker 1: works if you obey it. Medicine only works if you
- 28:08Speaker 1: take it. Food only feeds if you eat it. It's
- 28:11Speaker 1: not enough to know the word. It's when you obey
- 28:17Speaker 1: the word. I'm praying for you. Be blessed.
