- 0:02Speaker 2: Uh huh, I sure will. Good morning everybody you are
- 0:07Speaker 2: listening to the voice, come on dig me now.
- 0:11Speaker 1: One and only.
- 0:12Speaker 2: Steve Harvey got a radio show. I say it every
- 0:15Speaker 2: day because God been good to me. God has done
- 0:17Speaker 2: some things in my life. Just's truly been just amazing.
- 0:21Speaker 2: It really amazing. Ain't even really the word. They don't
- 0:24Speaker 2: really have a word for what He's done for me.
- 0:27Speaker 2: I'm just out of superlatives. That's why I say it
- 0:29Speaker 2: every day. Steve Harvey got a radio show because God
- 0:32Speaker 2: is in a blessing business. Yeah he is God. God
- 0:35Speaker 2: can help you turn your life around. Did you hear me?
- 0:39Speaker 2: God can help you turn your life around. Whatever you're
- 0:43Speaker 2: going through. God has an answer for it.
- 0:46Speaker 1: See. But it's to going through to get some store,
- 0:48Speaker 1: ain't it.
- 0:49Speaker 2: Because I was having a moment yesterday and I set
- 0:51Speaker 2: my wife down, I said, Babe, I just need to
- 0:53Speaker 2: talk to you going through a little bit right now.
- 0:55Speaker 2: I just wanted to share, which I'm a little down
- 0:57Speaker 2: right now. My wife me. She just reminded me, See,
- 1:03Speaker 2: this is what a man, This is what a good
- 1:05Speaker 2: mate does. A good mate reminds you just of things
- 1:10Speaker 2: that sometimes you forget. When you get off track. Because
- 1:15Speaker 2: you know, I consider myself a motivational type person. I
- 1:19Speaker 2: try to listen to people and then give them something
- 1:22Speaker 2: I've learned along the way on this journey I've been on.
- 1:25Speaker 2: I try to give a person a takeaway. But even
- 1:27Speaker 2: being that person, sometimes I get off track myself. I
- 1:32Speaker 2: get a little low. Sometimes, you know, I get a
- 1:35Speaker 2: little down. Sometimes I sometimes I forget some of the stuff.
- 1:39Speaker 1: I say. It ain't that I forget it.
- 1:41Speaker 2: I guess I just get caught up in the grind
- 1:45Speaker 2: of doing it. And sometimes I get I get a
- 1:48Speaker 2: little off course, and I forget some of the things
- 1:51Speaker 2: that my wife or a mate can be good for
- 1:54Speaker 2: you to remind you. And she just says, Steve God
- 1:58Speaker 2: got us. She said, have you ever noticed that every
- 2:02Speaker 2: time you get in a spot? And she say, and
- 2:05Speaker 2: I know how you must feel, because you're out here
- 2:07Speaker 2: working and you keep turning around and old stuff keep
- 2:13Speaker 2: popping up, and you get a call from your account
- 2:16Speaker 2: and hear this and went wrong and that. Then when
- 2:18Speaker 2: you study trying to fix it, but you steady going
- 2:20Speaker 2: wild man?
- 2:21Speaker 1: What is it? She say? But you ever notice He.
- 2:23Speaker 2: Always, always, no matter what, provide a way and He
- 2:28Speaker 2: ain't ever too late.
- 2:30Speaker 1: Oh you might be going. The deadline is approaching.
- 2:33Speaker 2: The deadline can come and pass, but then they have
- 2:37Speaker 2: a grace period for you. And then sometimes man, it's
- 2:40Speaker 2: just you go down there after the grace period and
- 2:42Speaker 2: they take the payment anyway, and you're good anyway. But see,
- 2:45Speaker 2: ain't that God bringing you through it? It may not
- 2:49Speaker 2: be when you want it, but he right on time.
- 2:51Speaker 2: Jazz before you get put out, jazz, before they turn.
- 2:55Speaker 2: Maybe they cut the lights off, but you get it
- 2:57Speaker 2: back ones faux company come or just before the weekend,
- 3:01Speaker 2: get here. See, He always comes through for you. And
- 3:05Speaker 2: she had to remind me of that what you going
- 3:08Speaker 2: through is necessary. Look, circumstance and hardships and pitfalls are
- 3:13Speaker 2: always untimely if you keep the law of attraction in play,
- 3:18Speaker 2: if you keep believing that, that's that He gonna see
- 3:22Speaker 2: you through this, just like he do when you don't
- 3:24Speaker 2: believe it.
- 3:25Speaker 1: That's what the old part is, though.
- 3:27Speaker 2: Ain't it ain't God brought you through even when you
- 3:31Speaker 2: didn't really have the faith to say he was gonna
- 3:33Speaker 2: bring you through.
- 3:34Speaker 1: But because of grace and mercy he brought you through anyway.
- 3:38Speaker 2: But because you forgot to thank him, or you didn't
- 3:41Speaker 2: pay attention through to come through. You just was telling people, Oh, man,
- 3:45Speaker 2: if you the same. It was so jacked up. Man,
- 3:48Speaker 2: I was so turned up. I ain't know what I
- 3:50Speaker 2: was gonna do. I almost got put out. I was
- 3:52Speaker 2: gonna see key word almost, And you forgot that part
- 3:55Speaker 2: right there, And then I was it looked like I want man,
- 3:58Speaker 2: And then and seem like every month I go through
- 4:01Speaker 2: this same thing. And then yah, yeah, then somebody ought
- 4:04Speaker 2: to just say, did you pay it?
- 4:06Speaker 1: Yeah? I paid it? Did you get put out?
- 4:07Speaker 2: Now?
- 4:08Speaker 1: I'm cool? See See you need somebody on your shoulder
- 4:11Speaker 1: to say that to you, and then you need somebody
- 4:14Speaker 1: to come right behind him and go, man, ain't God good? Really? Man,
- 4:19Speaker 1: that's how this works.
- 4:21Speaker 2: See, you keep getting in situations, but he keep getting
- 4:24Speaker 2: you out. Now if you jump, look, listen to me,
- 4:27Speaker 2: hold on, hold on. Let's say you in a frying
- 4:30Speaker 2: pad in the skillet and the oil is up and
- 4:33Speaker 2: you in that frying and you uncomfortable being fried God somehow.
- 4:39Speaker 2: Or let's just say you managed to get out of
- 4:42Speaker 2: the hot grease in the frying pan and you standing
- 4:45Speaker 2: there next to the skillet looking at the fire continue
- 4:48Speaker 2: to heat the grease, you get out, and then for
- 4:52Speaker 2: some unexplainable reason, you dives right on back in there.
- 4:58Speaker 2: Ain't that how we usually do it. I'm just asking you, God,
- 5:02Speaker 2: get you away from the man you've been asking to
- 5:04Speaker 2: get away from. Then you go right back over there
- 5:07Speaker 2: and start seeing him again. It's amazing how many times
- 5:12Speaker 2: God get us out the fire and we walked right
- 5:15Speaker 2: back in there. Ain't it amazing?
- 5:17Speaker 1: Man?
- 5:18Speaker 2: I mean, really, man, see this how I break life
- 5:21Speaker 2: down for me so I don't get over here stuck on,
- 5:24Speaker 2: stupid with myself, and then get to doing something ignorant
- 5:27Speaker 2: like blaming God. When really, man, God has given us,
- 5:30Speaker 2: as human beings, the power of decision, and we all
- 5:33Speaker 2: make decisions. How many times? Man, see, sometimes it's a
- 5:36Speaker 2: blessing in getting locked up. You can ask a lot
- 5:39Speaker 2: of caps I know, man to tell you it was
- 5:41Speaker 2: a blessing for me, man, because I was just headed
- 5:43Speaker 2: the wrong way, steady, but he locked me up, set
- 5:46Speaker 2: me down, made me miss my family. Being out here
- 5:50Speaker 2: being a free man, made me realize that my family
- 5:53Speaker 2: was important, made me, man, really see this girl for
- 5:56Speaker 2: what she was.
- 5:57Speaker 1: When I get out, man, I'm on the straightened narrow.
- 6:00Speaker 2: Well then when you get out though, See you can't
- 6:03Speaker 2: be talking about no oh man, I can't find no job.
- 6:06Speaker 2: Now I'm gonna go and do what I gotta do. No, no, no, no, no, partner,
- 6:10Speaker 2: you got to do now what you're supposed to do.
- 6:12Speaker 2: See that don't do what you gotta do got you
- 6:14Speaker 2: in trouble in the first place. See everybody, see see
- 6:18Speaker 2: the hood got a lot.
- 6:19Speaker 1: Of ignorant rules. We done create it.
- 6:20Speaker 2: I gotta do what I gotta do. I gotta feed
- 6:22Speaker 2: my family. The only reason you gotta do what you
- 6:25Speaker 2: gotta do is because you didn't do what you were
- 6:27Speaker 2: supposed to do. See if you just went on to
- 6:29Speaker 2: school like you mama kept telling you. Ah man, I
- 6:33Speaker 2: was watching forty eight Hours yesterday and the dude named
- 6:35Speaker 2: Nesto was on that and Nesto Latino dude said, Man,
- 6:39Speaker 2: my mother told me quit hanging with these guys. They
- 6:42Speaker 2: were gonna nothing but trouble. I should have listened to her.
- 6:45Speaker 2: He doing thirty years right now. You can't blame God.
- 6:49Speaker 2: That's why I talk to myself this way so I
- 6:52Speaker 2: don't get stupid and start shifting to blame the wrong way.
- 6:55Speaker 2: When it's really on me. How many times has God
- 6:58Speaker 2: got you out of something? You walk right back into it. Man,
- 7:02Speaker 2: why don't you take these blessings God give you and
- 7:05Speaker 2: go on about your business. That'd be the best way
- 7:07Speaker 2: to do it. Don't you think That's what I think?
- 7:11Speaker 2: So I thank God my wife for reminding me that
- 7:15Speaker 2: God got us anyway, that God gonna pull you through anyway.
- 7:19Speaker 2: That Have you noticed, Steve, we ain't lost a beat.
- 7:22Speaker 2: Or I know it's hard out here, but really you
- 7:24Speaker 2: ain't lost a beat. You still moving forward, You still
- 7:28Speaker 2: dressing nice, You still look good when you come into
- 7:31Speaker 2: that job. Everybody don't have got to know your house
- 7:35Speaker 2: is in bad shape.
- 7:36Speaker 1: And all that God got you.
- 7:38Speaker 2: Man, if you just hold your head up, man, quit
- 7:40Speaker 2: complaining all the time by what you ain't got, And
- 7:44Speaker 2: as in words of my daddy's slick Harvey, stop talking
- 7:47Speaker 2: about what you ain't got, and take a good look
- 7:49Speaker 2: at what you do.
- 7:49Speaker 1: God.
- 7:50Speaker 2: That's improper grammar, but that always stuck with me and
- 7:53Speaker 2: maybe it'll stick with you. Quit talk about and looking
- 7:55Speaker 2: at what you ain't God, take a good look at
- 7:57Speaker 2: what you do.
- 7:58Speaker 1: God,
