- 0:00Speaker 1: Hello everyone, welcome to Empower your Soul.
- 0:02Speaker 1: I am feeling, um, I don't know.
- 0:07Speaker 1: I just got off an amazing reading with a client, slash friends, slash student.
- 0:12Speaker 1: It's all of the above.
- 0:13Speaker 1: She's a wonderful woman and it was such an amazing reading that we had that I really felt inspired to come on here and hit record.
- 0:20Speaker 1: And Spirit has helped, guiding me on to what I should be sharing with all of you regardless, because it was an epic reading.
- 0:23Speaker 1: And Spirit has helped guiding me on to what I should be sharing with all of you regardless, because it was an epic reading.
- 0:27Speaker 1: And she really trusted to let Spirit talk about whatever Spirit wanted to talk about, which was perfect.
- 0:32Speaker 1: Those are the best readings, because I just let Spirit roll and you let Spirit roll and it's an amazing experience.
- 0:38Speaker 1: But what Spirit wants me to kind of hone in and talk about this episode is how you can use the energy of your ancestors and guides to help you in life.
- 0:50Speaker 1: Boom, right, sounds awesome.
- 0:54Speaker 1: How do I do that?
- 0:55Speaker 1: What does that look like?
- 0:56Speaker 1: And in the reading with my friend, she I don't even know where to begin.
- 1:06Speaker 1: Sorry about the hesitation.
- 1:07Speaker 1: I'm laughing because I want to tell the really funny story about how it's not funny, but her husband had passed and now whenever she connects to spirit, she only asks for him all the time.
- 1:17Speaker 1: But not long ago, before her husband died, she asked for her grandmother all the time.
- 1:24Speaker 1: So, like in the middle of the reading, her stubborn ass grandmother kept bugging me and like wanting to come forward because she's she's like.
- 1:30Speaker 1: She used to be the star of the show and now she's, you know, backstage.
- 1:33Speaker 1: So it just.
- 1:34Speaker 1: It made me laugh first of all, but it was a good segue into talking about how you don't need to talk to all of your departed loved ones all the time.
- 1:45Speaker 1: You can use them as a tool, and I want to say it that way, which is interesting for me as a medium, because I think most people get into this work to talk to their loved ones.
- 1:53Speaker 1: Most people go to mediums to have the conversation with your loved ones, but when you're in this work, day in, day out, you don't talk to your departed loved ones because they're always there and they always have an opinion and like, I don't want to, no offense, I love you, family, I'm on my path, I'm doing it, um, and I don't really lean on my family that much either, to be honest with you as a medium.
- 2:15Speaker 1: I know they're there, I talk to them when I want to talk to them, but, sorry, I'm a little selfish, I don't talk to them that often, um, but what's interesting is how Spirit really explained in this reading with her about how she can use her family, her departed family and guides and ancestors and someone else that we'll talk about in a minute to bring energy in when she needs it.
- 2:39Speaker 1: So an example that I'm going to give from her and then I'll give my own example.
- 2:44Speaker 1: So an example that I'm going to give from her, and then I'll give my own example.
- 2:47Speaker 1: And spirit's heckling me in my head right now that, um, then I'm going to be short and sweet and to the point when I talk about my story.
- 2:52Speaker 1: I will, I promise.
- 2:53Speaker 1: But when, um, when we talked about this with her grandfather that had popped in, I asked who's the grandfather that had that fixed the pipes?
- 3:01Speaker 1: Um, I think I started with who's the grandfather that's a plumber.
- 3:04Speaker 1: No, grandfather that's a plumber.
- 3:09Speaker 1: I'm like, okay, that's fine, I'm showing, he's showing me fixing leaking pipes.
- 3:11Speaker 1: And we ended up placing it.
- 3:12Speaker 1: And she did have a leaking pipe in her house that she fixed within the last month or so.
- 3:16Speaker 1: So evidence, obviously, that he's around, but more so evidence that she he was there helping her fix it, even though she's obviously not a plumber, right, so she can call on her departed loved one's energy, their skill sets, their profession, their confidence when you need it, and all you have to do in that moment is call them in for help.
- 3:43Speaker 1: She didn't need to, because he was already there helping right, and she picked, picked the uh, fixed the pipe just fine.
- 3:50Speaker 1: But this is true for everyone, whether you are spiritually connected or not.
- 3:55Speaker 1: Um, I'll give you my very short example for someone who is spiritually connected on what that could look like, right?
- 4:04Speaker 1: So one day my husband was out of town.
- 4:07Speaker 1: I was sick of having my like 50 plus tarot cards behind me across the room where I had to, like, get up and go get them when I was talking to clients.
- 4:15Speaker 1: So I bought some shelves off of Amazon one day and I wanted to put up the shelves right next to where I'm recording this podcast, right on my wall over here.
- 4:23Speaker 1: I waited for my husband to do it for a few days.
- 4:26Speaker 1: He didn't do it.
- 4:27Speaker 1: That's okay.
- 4:28Speaker 1: I love him, we're cool, we're cool.
- 4:31Speaker 1: But what ended up happening is he was late for work or he was traveling or something.
- 4:36Speaker 1: And I got so fed up and I was like you know what?
- 4:38Speaker 1: I'm going to do it myself.
- 4:39Speaker 1: So I get the leveler out.
- 4:41Speaker 1: I so I get the leveler out, I get the drill out, I get the drywall anchors out and I'm like I'm going to town and putting the shelves up myself.
- 4:49Speaker 1: There's four of them High confidence, low execution, but again low execution quality.
- 5:02Speaker 1: In the middle of me trying to hang up these walls, I suddenly hear my departed grandfather-in-law my husband's grandfather in my ear telling me how to hang these shelves, literally in my ear.
- 5:12Speaker 1: Super handy guy Did not meet him, by the way.
- 5:13Speaker 1: He passed before my husband and I started dating, but he was in my ear, telling me how to hang these shelves on the wall and he was specifically telling me which screws to use, which drywall anchors to use.
- 5:27Speaker 1: No word of a lie.
- 5:28Speaker 1: And I was like bananas.
- 5:30Speaker 1: I didn't believe him when he told me to use a certain drywall screw Because, like who believes a dead guy in their ear telling him use that drywall screw?
- 5:39Speaker 1: Nope, that one's too big, that one won't work.
- 5:41Speaker 1: And I'm like what?
- 5:43Speaker 1: This is?
- 5:46Speaker 1: Obviously me, 24, seven with spirit.
- 5:46Speaker 1: I'm like I don't believe you.
- 5:47Speaker 1: Who are you Like?
- 5:48Speaker 1: I'm not.
- 5:48Speaker 1: So what I ended up doing is using the wrong drywall scroll and lo and behold, it didn't fucking work.
- 5:52Speaker 1: It was too big, it didn't work.
- 5:59Speaker 1: But I can tell you in that experience where he willingly came in and helped me hang these shelves, I got them hung up.
- 6:10Speaker 1: They looked pretty good, even though they were slightly askew.
- 6:13Speaker 1: Nothing was falling off.
- 6:15Speaker 1: It wasn't exactly level, but he did a great job walking me through it literally step by step, and I could hear him talk, talking in my ear like he was standing behind me.
- 6:25Speaker 1: And I could hear him talk, talking in my ear like he was standing behind me, and it was so rad to be able to call on I didn't even call on him to have somebody in my ear, kind of walking me as an unskilled person through how to do this.
- 6:37Speaker 1: I know it seems basic, I'm.
- 6:38Speaker 1: I'm just, I leave all this stuff to my husband walking through how to hang these shelves on the wall and it was so cool, right?
- 6:46Speaker 1: So if you're listening to this and you can connect with spirit, like it might not come in as clear as what I'm saying.
- 6:52Speaker 1: It's the that's the only time it's coming that clear, by the way, like it hasn't been that clear since.
- 6:56Speaker 1: But I obviously needed the help and everyone sent in the energy to help me screw it up.
- 7:04Speaker 1: But that's what it can look like is like, you know, maybe you're in the middle of a sewing task and you're like, oh, my great grandmother was a fantastic sewer, she's so, she's so, you know, sewed quilts.
- 7:16Speaker 1: Call in her energy to help you so that you minimize how many times you screw up.
- 7:20Speaker 1: Right, you're still going to screw up because you're not.
- 7:23Speaker 1: You're not your grandmother, right, you're not your great grandmother, but can she give you a little bit of push of intuition of maybe maybe I need to, like, go around this corner, maybe I need to lift the needle up?
- 7:36Speaker 1: Oh, I feel like the threads coming loose.
- 7:37Speaker 1: You know, that's what I mean is like they might not work through you in the clear audience, clear audience sense of the word.
- 7:47Speaker 1: Like I heard my step grandfather, right, my in my in law grandfather, father in law, grandfather, grandfather in law.
- 7:57Speaker 1: That's me work through the.
- 7:59Speaker 1: I'm going to call in the ancestry expert next for this for this podcast.
- 8:05Speaker 1: Expert next for this for this podcast.
- 8:10Speaker 1: Hey, steve.
- 8:10Speaker 1: But that's what I mean is you might not experience it as solidly as I did in that one instance and, by the way, again hasn't happened again but you might feel it in terms of intuition, feeling like you need to do something, picking up this tool, doing this activity, driving to this thing right.
- 8:23Speaker 1: And you, when you're calling in your ancestors, it's so important that you rely on your gut, your intuition, because that's how they're gonna communicate with you.
- 8:31Speaker 1: If you don't have an open line of communication with them from an energetic or spirit connections perspective, they'll work through your energy, by this feeling of ooh, this is what I should do.
- 8:40Speaker 1: Or this gut feeling of knowing, or this like, feeling of like maybe you suddenly get really tired in the middle of something, or you get really exhausted in the middle of something, and that is spirit coming through to be like it's time for a break.
- 8:56Speaker 1: You're going to, you're going to really screw this up, so you need to take a break.
- 9:00Speaker 1: So they'll move through you by changing your moods, your energies, changing your intuition.
- 9:05Speaker 1: Your gut feels to help you with that exercise.
- 9:08Speaker 1: Pretty cool, right?
- 9:10Speaker 1: Pretty cool.
- 9:11Speaker 1: So that's how you can use spirit to help guide you in the things that you're doing and, by the way, one of the best pieces of advice I ever heard and I continue to use this to this day was calling in your ancestors to help you parent your children.
- 9:32Speaker 1: Because if you know anything about me and my kids, my daughter's a mini me.
- 9:38Speaker 1: My son is a mini one of my husband, my son.
- 9:42Speaker 1: I talk about my confidence.
- 9:43Speaker 1: His confidence is 10 times higher than mine and his execution is also 10 times lower than mine.
- 9:48Speaker 1: So, like he's very, very, very confident, not not the best execute at this point.
- 9:55Speaker 1: He's also 11, right, not the best in terms of execution.
- 9:58Speaker 1: Doesn't really stop.
- 9:59Speaker 1: He just focuses on his tasks, doesn't look at the periphery.
- 10:01Speaker 1: I digress, anyway.
- 10:02Speaker 1: I digress Anyway.
- 10:05Speaker 1: He drives me up a wall because he never listens.
- 10:07Speaker 1: And so to me, me as mom, I go crazy when I have to repeat things more than once.
- 10:17Speaker 1: This is just a me problem.
- 10:18Speaker 1: I'm gonna have to figure this out in the Akashic Records but I go nuts when I have to repeat myself.
- 10:21Speaker 1: It shouldn't have been apparent, let's be honest, but I am so I go off the handle when I have to repeat things more than three times, when I completely lose it.
- 10:32Speaker 1: I just literally open up to my ancestors and I'm like could someone come in and just tell me what to do?
- 10:37Speaker 1: And they do.
- 10:38Speaker 1: They come in and they, they, they make me, they soften my energy.
- 10:41Speaker 1: They, they make my heart softer, right they.
- 10:42Speaker 1: They soften my energy.
- 10:43Speaker 1: They.
- 10:43Speaker 1: They make my heart softer, right they.
- 10:46Speaker 1: They calm my energy down.
- 10:47Speaker 1: They, they kind of like guide me and point me to the things that I should say nice things about, the things I should be positive about, helping me see things from a different perspective.
- 10:58Speaker 1: How can I help him solve the problem differently, so he still feels like he's in control and able to accomplish things?
- 11:04Speaker 1: Right?
- 11:04Speaker 1: But that's what my ancestors will do, is they will help guide me to parent a little better.
- 11:13Speaker 1: I said it.
- 11:15Speaker 1: I said it.
- 11:16Speaker 1: Yep, I rely on the dead people to help raise my children.
- 11:19Speaker 1: That's my village.
- 11:20Speaker 1: That's my village, so you can do this too.
- 11:23Speaker 1: So anytime you feel like anything, you need something, you need energy, you need confidence, you need love, you need clarity.
- 11:34Speaker 1: You need help fixing the pipe, help hanging things on the wall, you need help finding the best restaurant in town, like it doesn't matter.
- 11:44Speaker 1: Call on your guides, call on your loved ones, your ancestors.
- 11:47Speaker 1: They are always, always willing to help you and then follow whatever they point you to.
- 11:53Speaker 1: By the way, one of my favorite podcast ups or, sorry, one of my favorite social media posts I ever did was literally going to the wine aisle, calling on my Italian ancestors and saying what bottle do I buy?
- 12:05Speaker 1: It's one of my favorites.
- 12:08Speaker 1: And they picked out a bottle for me and it was delicious.
- 12:12Speaker 1: It was delicious and it came with a glass wine stop, which I still use to this day, right?
- 12:17Speaker 1: So so yeah, call on your ancestors.
- 12:18Speaker 1: They're rad.
- 12:20Speaker 1: Now here's the fun little twist with this exercise, right?
- 12:23Speaker 1: So I talked about ancestors.
- 12:24Speaker 1: Your guides are well versed in everything.
- 12:25Speaker 1: So I talked about ancestors.
- 12:26Speaker 1: Your guides are well versed in everything.
- 12:27Speaker 1: So you can certainly call on your guides.
- 12:29Speaker 1: It helps to.
- 12:30Speaker 1: I just like the ancestor.
- 12:31Speaker 1: I like the personal aspect of it.
- 12:33Speaker 1: I like engaging with people that I know and then I trust.
- 12:35Speaker 1: For these things you could definitely call in your guide guides as well, or angels, or God or Jesus or whoever you prefer to work with.
- 12:42Speaker 1: That's fine too.
- 12:43Speaker 1: I like the personal touch of the people that know me and the people that who's like literal energy or blood that I know.
- 12:50Speaker 1: You know what I mean.
- 12:50Speaker 1: It's just there's a little bit of a difference here, different levels, different strokes for different folks.
- 12:55Speaker 1: You know what I mean.
- 12:55Speaker 1: Anyway, the only other thing I was going to say is and it's not little, it's pretty awesome Was that in this reading with my friend, we got to the end and still a little worried about her business and I'm like, okay, so let me tune into the energy of this business for you.
- 13:19Speaker 1: And what was so cool, as I was leaning into her husband to give me the information, and he stepped back and this woman stepped forward and she's old and she itty bitty and she's just all love.
- 13:33Speaker 1: And I'm like, huh, who is this woman?
- 13:36Speaker 1: And I'm like it looks like.
- 13:38Speaker 1: I'm like I know we talked to your grandmother, it's not your grandmother.
- 13:43Speaker 1: And then all of a sudden, I heard the words Mother Teresa, did you just get goosebumps?
- 13:50Speaker 1: I just got goosebumps.
- 13:51Speaker 1: I heard the words Mother Teresa, so I said so.
- 13:56Speaker 1: I think this is Mother Teresa Again.
- 14:00Speaker 1: My readings go everywhere and what I'm hearing is that your work is just like Mother Teresa's work.
- 14:10Speaker 1: Which is why she's helping guide you in your business is because you want to love people.
- 14:16Speaker 1: You want to help people.
- 14:18Speaker 1: You don't want anything in return.
- 14:20Speaker 1: You want to give them the tools for them to be able to solve the problems themselves.
- 14:27Speaker 1: But you can't stay with anybody.
- 14:30Speaker 1: You have to like keep moving on and helping as many people as possible.
- 14:33Speaker 1: And I heard in the middle of it and I haven't Googled it since, I don't know if it's true I've heard like that's what Mother Teresa does she gives people the tools, the love, the tools, helping people see the potential that they have, and then she leaves it up to them to solve and solve that problem in themselves and become their best selves or help themselves.
- 14:54Speaker 1: And I loved that and it was a perfect.
- 14:59Speaker 1: It was a perfect drive by by Mother Teresa, because my friend loves Mother Teresa, like loves her, remembers a poem from when she was a little girl about Mother Teresa felt always like tied to her.
- 15:13Speaker 1: So what amazing evidence for spirit to come in and use beloved Mother Teresa.
- 15:20Speaker 1: I think she's a saint.
- 15:21Speaker 1: Now, right, st Teresa, I think she is right to come in and deliver this message that this is what you're going to do and it's a gift from God so you need.
- 15:32Speaker 1: So don't worry, you're loved and supported and if you need anything, just just come to me and we will find a way to love and support and continue your mission to help people, because what she's doing is for God, you know it's it's helping and healing people that need that different perspective, the broken people that need that perspective.
- 15:49Speaker 1: So I just love that.
- 15:50Speaker 1: So, um, so, this is me telling you, if you feel called to work with certain souls that you didn't actually know, but in this case, like mother Teresa, call them in.
- 16:03Speaker 1: They are willing to help as well.
- 16:05Speaker 1: Um and like.
- 16:07Speaker 1: So, if you, if you're playing the guitar and you want to be really good, call in Jimi Hendrix, you know, if you want to I don't know become an amazing chef, you know, call, call in.
- 16:17Speaker 1: Is Julia Child still alive?
- 16:19Speaker 1: I don't remember.
- 16:19Speaker 1: Um, yeah, alive or deadcom, that's usually how I find these things out.
- 16:24Speaker 1: But like, call in these people that you really look up to, that you aspire to be, and they will help you too.
- 16:34Speaker 1: I won't ever forget the first time that I guess the only time like I'm just sitting in my car and like Vincent Van Gogh comes by and I'm like, oh, hey, buddy, how did I know he only had one ear?
- 16:46Speaker 1: But like, literally, vincent Van Gogh came by and I'm like, okay, buddy, all right, good talking with you, right, like I feel crazy half the time when I tell you these stories.
- 16:59Speaker 1: But they're, they're real and um and I probably have told you my um not for today, they said today.
- 17:17Speaker 1: They said they said not for today.
- 17:18Speaker 1: But there's so many instances where I've kind of run into I don't know famous souls and I'm just like, oh hey, how's it going?
- 17:22Speaker 1: Because they're just, they're just souls, they're just like you and I.
- 17:26Speaker 1: They've just had a famous lifetime.
- 17:27Speaker 1: You bet your butt you've had a famous lifetime to you have all of have.
- 17:31Speaker 1: We all try to at least have one of those crazy lifetimes.
- 17:34Speaker 1: So you are as equal as these celebrities or these people that you look up to.
- 17:39Speaker 1: So if you ever want help from these expert souls I'm going to say it that way then call them in for help as well, because we all know, you know, my, my grandmother painted, but she ain't no Picasso, right, right?
- 17:54Speaker 1: So, sorry, sorry, but you can do that, because I think it's I think with the personal I'm going to say like real life stuff.
- 18:02Speaker 1: I definitely lean on my ancestors, but I'm not afraid to call in the experts when I really really need the help and the guidance.
- 18:10Speaker 1: And then my spirit team just went ding, ding, ding, ding, ding ding, because I have been struggling with some stuff in my mediumship and I can't put my finger on it.
- 18:20Speaker 1: And they're like aren't you calling me the spatula?
- 18:23Speaker 1: Janet and Hovick, are you going to call them in?
- 18:28Speaker 1: And I'm like, damn you, there's my team, there's the.
- 18:31Speaker 1: They're pulling on my ear.
- 18:33Speaker 1: They said they're pulling on my ear.
- 18:34Speaker 1: I don't know what that symbol is.
- 18:35Speaker 1: It's probably time to go.
- 18:36Speaker 1: I'll have to go look that one up.
- 18:38Speaker 1: Oh, hi, hello, hello.
- 18:42Speaker 1: So this is what happens when I, when I mentioned people, dead people's names, they come walking in.
- 18:48Speaker 1: They come walking in.
- 18:49Speaker 1: I hope you don't mind me doing this.
- 18:54Speaker 1: I feel crazy, but I, janet Ahovic, just stopped by because I just mentioned her name.
- 19:03Speaker 1: I worked with her a little bit before she departed, when I was used to go to her church and and she her book was her church in New Jersey and her book was one of the first books that she read, that I read.
- 19:15Speaker 1: See, I'm all discombobulated because I'm trying to keep this podcast going by talking, but she's talking in my ear.
- 19:20Speaker 1: So this is what it's like when you hear me go and say things that make no sense Usually spirits talking in my ear.
- 19:25Speaker 1: So I'm just gonna see what Janet Novick came by to say, if you don't mind one second.
- 19:31Speaker 1: Oh and, by the way, when she passed, immediately came to me and meet.
- 19:36Speaker 1: Like I think she's having a blast in the spirit world.
- 19:38Speaker 1: Maybe we should do a little series on talking to dead celebrities and seeing how that goes.
- 19:42Speaker 1: Is that going to make me look like a charlatan?
- 19:44Speaker 1: Maybe?
- 19:45Speaker 1: Maybe We'll see if I can give some evidence about people.
- 19:49Speaker 1: Okay, she said she'll work with me.
- 19:54Speaker 1: Thanks, janet.
- 19:57Speaker 1: All right, I think that will conclude this episode before I completely go off the deep end, but I just want to thank all of you.
- 20:03Speaker 1: I hope this makes sense.
- 20:04Speaker 1: Let me know, test it out.
- 20:05Speaker 1: Let me know if it made sense.
- 20:07Speaker 1: Like, if it like, I want to hear.
- 20:09Speaker 1: I want to hear is it awesome?
- 20:11Speaker 1: Like, were you able to solve a couple problems?
- 20:14Speaker 1: I'm going to call in a master cleaner that's going to help me keep my house clean and organized.
- 20:18Speaker 1: I'm going to call in some it's New Year's Got to lose a couple pounds.
- 20:22Speaker 1: I'm going to call in somebody that can keep me motivated to work out.
- 20:26Speaker 1: Richard Simmons folks, he's coming.
- 20:28Speaker 1: All right, I love you all.
