[SPEAKER_01]: Based by the looks that like the looks of this guy the cut of his jib if I'm just staring at him right now Man book is in front of him.
• 0:42
[SPEAKER_03]: Why the cut of the you jib that's got to be a naval term, right?
• 0:45
[SPEAKER_01]: It is and here's why But he's not the navy.
• 0:48
[SPEAKER_03]: Tell me what he's name Nick Freitas.
• 0:49
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, he was a green beret though They don't do navy stuff.
• 0:52
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, but it sounds like it's a Spanish name for some reason hit the button by ran
• 0:57
[SPEAKER_01]: No, hit the button, buy her in, not fucking round of applause.
• 1:01
[SPEAKER_01]: Jesus Christ, dude, if somebody's got a Mexican last name, no, it pronounced it.
• 1:06
  [SPEAKER_01]: Freight!
• 1:07
  [SPEAKER_03]: It's up, I believe it's Portuguese and not.
• 1:09
[SPEAKER_01]: Whatever, dude, Mexico encompasses all of every Latino country.
• 1:14
  [SPEAKER_03]: Okay, well, so that's, that's a good point.
• 1:16
[SPEAKER_03]: You're bringing up, except that Portugal is in Europe.
• 1:19
  [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I don't care, I don't care.
• 1:21
[SPEAKER_01]: If it's the late tanks, you're Mexican, all right?
• 1:23
[SPEAKER_01]: Nick, where are you from?
• 1:25
  [SPEAKER_01]: No, that's the start.
• 1:26
  [SPEAKER_01]: Portugal.
• 1:27
  [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
• 1:27
  [SPEAKER_01]: Portugal.
• 1:27
  [SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
• 1:28
[SPEAKER_01]: What do you speak of there?
• 1:30
  [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, Portuguese.
• 1:31
  [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, we got it.
• 1:31
[SPEAKER_01]: We got our own language and everything got your own language and everything, but it's all kind of next to Spain and Mexico.
• 1:39
[SPEAKER_01]: You guys have the same traditions.
• 1:41
  [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, man.
• 1:41
[SPEAKER_01]: You're a little bit more honky than everybody else.
• 1:44
[SPEAKER_01]: And we pull up a man.
• 1:44
  [SPEAKER_01]: No way.
• 1:45
  [SPEAKER_02]: It's not a sense, though.
• 1:46
[SPEAKER_02]: We were actually, I mean, if you look at the Iberian Peninsula, we had loose those, and we had Vikings that were running this for a while with Visigoths.
• 1:53
  [SPEAKER_02]: So, some differences.
• 1:54
  [SPEAKER_02]: What happened then?
• 1:55
  [SPEAKER_02]: I like what happens?
• 1:57
  [SPEAKER_02]: What do you mean?
• 1:57
[SPEAKER_02]: Well, for a while, Muslims happened, and then Christians happened again.
• 2:01
[SPEAKER_02]: And so now we're back on top, and now unfortunately, timeiness for running the show and socialist.
• 2:06
[SPEAKER_02]: And Muslims are back in your country, right?
• 2:08
  [SPEAKER_02]: Well, back in Spain.
• 2:10
  [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, that's a lot.
• 2:11
[SPEAKER_01]: Not, not, okay, I'm waiting, by the way, because I feel like day by day, it's starting to fall.
• 2:17
[SPEAKER_01]: We just had Italy essentially fall within the last two weeks.
• 2:21
[SPEAKER_01]: Here, Homegirls lost her fucking mind, and then they're taking an immigrants and on this other shit over there, Italy's fucked.
• 2:28
[SPEAKER_01]: In my opinion, man book is out today, live on Amazon, everywhere else, congratulations on that, by the way.
• 2:38
[SPEAKER_01]: Publishing any book is is a hard feat.
• 2:41
[SPEAKER_01]: It's an uphill battle and it's brutal And then especially if you have to go through the back end of Amazon my audio book is supposed to come out today and now they're like You know what we're checking it for airs and we'll let you know in like six days and I'm like huh?
• 2:55
  [SPEAKER_01]: Three times, best seller.
• 2:56
  [SPEAKER_01]: I don't need to, I don't need to check for airs.
• 2:58
  [SPEAKER_01]: Well, good on that.
• 2:59
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, but then you didn't know where Portugal was.
• 3:02
  [SPEAKER_01]: I don't care.
• 3:03
[SPEAKER_01]: Like, that's the whole thing.
• 3:04
[SPEAKER_01]: Put, pull up a map, Bob.
• 3:06
[SPEAKER_01]: Pull up a map, where Portugal is.
• 3:07
[SPEAKER_01]: What country is it next to?
• 3:09
  [SPEAKER_01]: Spain.
• 3:10
  [SPEAKER_01]: Here you go.
• 3:10
  [SPEAKER_01]: Spain's haircut.
• 3:11
  [SPEAKER_01]: Thank you.
• 3:12
  [SPEAKER_01]: Thank you.
• 3:13
  [SPEAKER_03]: Jesus Christ.
• 3:14
[SPEAKER_03]: It kind of looks like Captain Planet.
• 3:16
[SPEAKER_03]: To be a little bit.
• 3:17
  [SPEAKER_03]: A little bit.
• 3:18
[SPEAKER_01]: When people come to America, and they see that it's 50% fucking Mexican,
• 3:22
[SPEAKER_01]: You know, they assume all right.
• 3:23
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, the country's right next to it.
• 3:25
  [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, of course.
• 3:25
[SPEAKER_03]: See how the it looks like Captain planet and Spain's the hair.
• 3:28
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but look at even look at the architecture everything dude.
• 3:31
[SPEAKER_01]: It looks like Spain just looks like a nice a version of Spain.
• 3:35
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, it's definitely nicer than Spain.
• 3:36
  [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
• 3:37
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but Nick you Republican obviously you've been in politics for years and years and years condolences on the primary.
• 3:46
[SPEAKER_01]: uh... you know i i know you lost the primary and uh... you didn't get some move on up uh... what are you looking forward to next oh no i was in the i was in the virginia legislature for ten years and i retired are you retired you didn't run for a higher office then
• 4:02
[SPEAKER_02]: I did, but that was back in 2020.
• 4:05
[SPEAKER_02]: I won the primary, but then I lost against Abigail Spamberger, who was the congresswoman of that way.
• 4:10
[SPEAKER_02]: And now she's working very difficult to destroy all of Virginia, just to strain one congressional district in Virginia was not sufficient for her appetite.
• 4:20
[SPEAKER_02]: So now she's governor of Virginia, but yeah.
• 4:22
[SPEAKER_01]: So I want this on the record today.
• 4:24
[SPEAKER_01]: You're done for good, good, because usually everybody gets back in somehow and then typically, by the way, when you're running for higher positions, you don't win on the first run.
• 4:33
[SPEAKER_01]: It usually takes the second run to do it, and since you were this close in 2020, why not do it again?
• 4:41
  [SPEAKER_02]: I just I don't I don't feel the calling to do it.
• 4:44
[SPEAKER_02]: I never got into Paula.
• 4:45
[SPEAKER_02]: I legitimately never got into elected office thinking oh great my next career.
• 4:49
[SPEAKER_02]: I was like I will I will do this for eight I was Season I we my wife and I prayed a lot about it.
• 4:55
[SPEAKER_02]: We felt real comfortable when we went in and we felt real great when we Went out but I did do something I wish more people would do and that is make sure you have someone lined up It's actually decent to replace you when you leave and so I had a really good replacement
• 5:08
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, no I got out I have I have no aspirations about running for elected office again Again, I hope I did my duty for the ten years that I was there, but it's it's done now Yeah, I mean look ten years is a very long time and typically people just keep moving up Keep going and going because of name recognition obviously with ten years in office
• 5:29
[SPEAKER_01]: you had the upper hand there, and chances are, you probably wouldn't want to get in 24, or 12,000 Democrats are looking to Gerry Mander the entire state.
• 5:39
[SPEAKER_02]: Like right now, in our congressional representation in Virginia, we have five Republicans, six Democrats, which is a fair, that's fair.
• 5:46
[SPEAKER_02]: I wish it was better for us, but that's fair.
• 5:48
[SPEAKER_02]: They're actually about to redistrict it to go 10 Democrats, one Republican.
• 5:52
[SPEAKER_02]: it's like the worst jerry mandarin america right now they're doing in a complete violation of the constitution by trying to redo this amendment i mean it's it's just it's insanity but how do you sit on the sidelines then and watch it happen uh... because you're the fucking dude and you don't got it well again sitting on the sidelines is sitting on the sidelines of the people at stay home owned do anything
• 6:12
[SPEAKER_02]: right like when I got when I left office none of this was going on or some of it was but there there was no i mean we didn't think we're gonna lose thirteen seats in the house we didn't think we're gonna lose all the seats on the you know the the governor attorney general lieutenant governor
• 6:27
[SPEAKER_02]: But now, no, we're still fighting.
• 6:29
  [SPEAKER_02]: Like I'm still involved.
• 6:30
[SPEAKER_02]: I'm just not in, I'm just not intellect at office.
• 6:34
[SPEAKER_01]: Because me personally, I would like to see you there, selfishly.
• 6:37
[SPEAKER_01]: And I think a guy like you can actually make a difference.
• 6:40
[SPEAKER_01]: If you went higher and higher, that's just me.
• 6:42
[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know what you've had conversations with your wife and all that other stuff.
• 6:46
[SPEAKER_01]: But as I'm looking ahead, and this has been a big thing for me on the show.
• 6:50
[SPEAKER_01]: Over the course of the last couple months, we actually talked about it yesterday.
• 6:54
[SPEAKER_01]: I think the Republicans are in trouble in this midterm, that is coming up in the fall.
• 6:59
[SPEAKER_01]: What do you think the outlook is for the Republican Party this fall as far as the house is concerned in the Senate is concerned?
• 7:05
[SPEAKER_02]: I'm less worried about the Senate, although I'm still concerned I'm a lot more worried about the House.
• 7:11
[SPEAKER_02]: And part of the reason for that is because Republicans, certain Republicans within the legislature, specifically in the Senate, have not been able to deliver on their promises.
• 7:21
[SPEAKER_02]: And like, look, I get it.
• 7:22
[SPEAKER_02]: You need 60 votes in the Senate to end the filibuster.
• 7:26
[SPEAKER_02]: But the bottom line is like the American people have done a hearing excuses.
• 7:29
[SPEAKER_02]: In part because it feels like
• 7:31
[SPEAKER_02]: whenever the Democrats are in charge, they get whatever they want.
• 7:35
[SPEAKER_02]: And then when Republicans are in charge, all of a sudden we all all kinds of excuses on how we need more wins or we need more seats or we'll do it next year.
• 7:43
[SPEAKER_02]: But I will say this too, my other problem with this is not just what certain elected Republicans are doing.
• 7:48
[SPEAKER_02]: My problem and I could say this with full freedom, my problems with the Republican electorate as well.
• 7:54
[SPEAKER_02]: Like we saw this in Virginia.
• 7:55
[SPEAKER_02]: We had 300,000 people that voted for Glenn Youngkin that didn't vote for when some seers and they a lot of them were taking this attitude of, well, I don't like this candidate quite as much or I think Abigail is a moderate or I'm mad at something Trump did on a Tuesday.
• 8:09
[SPEAKER_02]: So I'm going to sit home.
• 8:10
  [SPEAKER_02]: It's like, oh, okay.
• 8:11
[SPEAKER_02]: Well, now you're finding out the hard way that there's a big difference between the parties.
• 8:15
[SPEAKER_02]: And when they have this much control, they're going to run roughshod over your rights.
• 8:20
[SPEAKER_02]: They're going to come after your guns, they're going to come after your kids, they're going to come after your businesses.
• 8:25
[SPEAKER_02]: And now we got Republican sitting around going, well, I had no idea this would happen.
• 8:28
[SPEAKER_02]: I'm like, oh, well, thanks for waking up five seconds ago.
• 8:31
[SPEAKER_02]: And unfortunately, I hope that's not replicated for the midterms because as much as again, if you want to go after Republicans, I'll help you find the ones to do it.
• 8:40
[SPEAKER_02]: I did a whole episode of Wild Back on the five worst Republicans in the House of Representatives.
• 8:46
[SPEAKER_02]: I'm like, why did these guys not get primary challengers?
• 8:49
[SPEAKER_02]: right your your your pissed off because Trump hasn't been able to what solved everything in two years.
• 8:54
[SPEAKER_02]: You got all these guys sitting in the legislature in safe seats.
• 8:57
  [SPEAKER_02]: These guys win by 20 30 40 points.
• 9:01
[SPEAKER_02]: And then you look at their voting records and it's horrible.
• 9:04
[SPEAKER_02]: So can you want to make an impact?
• 9:05
[SPEAKER_02]: That's how to make it in the primaries.
• 9:08
[SPEAKER_02]: But in the general election, you can't let the I mean you can't let the left take over.
• 9:12
  [SPEAKER_01]: No, you can't.
• 9:13
[SPEAKER_01]: But who are the five worse in your opinion than all give mine?
• 9:17
[SPEAKER_02]: Well, the five worst that we went over.
• 9:18
[SPEAKER_02]: I can't remember all their names at this point.
• 9:20
  [SPEAKER_02]: It was two people.
• 9:21
[SPEAKER_02]: It was, I think one guy out of Pennsylvania, two out of Kentucky, one out of Texas, Tony Gonzalez.
• 9:29
[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, man, of course, Alaska.
• 9:30
[SPEAKER_02]: Well, Lisa McCowski in the Senate, like one of the worst.
• 9:33
  [SPEAKER_02]: She needs to go.
• 9:34
[SPEAKER_02]: John Curtis out of Utah, like that guy's got no excuse for being the obstructionist he is.
• 9:38
  [SPEAKER_02]: But I use a formula, formula.
• 9:40
[SPEAKER_02]: I say, oh, and then Tony Gonzalez is one of the worst.
• 9:43
  [SPEAKER_02]: I'm glad he got.
• 9:44
[SPEAKER_02]: Um, but one of the things I always say is like, you need to look at pick Republicans in like R plus 15 R plus 20 districts.
• 9:52
[SPEAKER_02]: Don't pick on Republicans in R plus one districts.
• 9:55
[SPEAKER_02]: Those guys are barely holding on to their seats.
• 9:57
[SPEAKER_02]: Go find the guys that are in safe districts that got no excuse and primary they hell out of them, because you can do it with far less votes, far less money.
• 10:04
[SPEAKER_02]: And we saw that in a couple places in Texas this year.
• 10:07
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, one of our buddies, Brandon Herrera, he was the one that primary Tony Gonzalez, obviously Tony Gonzalez went through what he went through and then actually resigned today, by the way, Anthony.
• 10:18
[SPEAKER_01]: So he is out of office altogether as of this afternoon, so is Erick Swallwell, and then there's a rumor that potentially three others to four others might also be resigning due to similar allegations.
• 10:31
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but this is like to me,
• 10:34
[SPEAKER_03]: It's like when a space shuttle takes off and it starts jettisoning the rocket boosters, right?
• 10:42
[SPEAKER_03]: This is just a bunch of fucking scumbags who are trying to throw you some meat.
• 10:46
  [SPEAKER_03]: That's it, right?
• 10:48
[SPEAKER_03]: All like the congressional slush fund to pay for all these sexual assault cases still exists and it's still private.
• 10:54
[SPEAKER_03]: They haven't released that information.
• 10:57
[SPEAKER_03]: As a matter of fact, they had a vote on whether or not to release it and they said no.
• 11:02
[SPEAKER_03]: Make that whatever you want, it's a big club you ain't at that whole thing, but to next point, calling out the Republican voters, we live in a unique country.
• 11:13
[SPEAKER_03]: It is the only one in the history of the world where power is derived from the consent of the governed and a meaningful way.
• 11:20
[SPEAKER_03]: and that means if the governor a bunch of fucking morons, then the people that we elect and how power is used will be moronic as well, right?
• 11:27
  [SPEAKER_03]: Yep.
• 11:28
[SPEAKER_03]: That is what you as a human being as an individual in life can control.
• 11:33
[SPEAKER_03]: You can't control who gets elected in a different district.
• 11:36
[SPEAKER_03]: You can't control even what decisions they make downstream.
• 11:39
[SPEAKER_03]: What you can't control is
• 11:41
[SPEAKER_03]: is whether or not you are projecting your demands in a way that's meaningful.
• 11:46
[SPEAKER_03]: And if you're sitting around fucking bitching about things without doing anything, if you're fat, lazy, and stupid, then you're going to get fat, lazy, stupid execution, and do you see, and that's what we've had for what, let's say, 60 years now, right?
• 11:59
[SPEAKER_01]: It's been a long time, and to that point, Dan and I have said on this show for months and months and months now, the most important thing to do would be to pass the save act.
• 12:08
  [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
• 12:09
[SPEAKER_01]: Um, you know, obviously with your connections and how close you are to DC and everything else, is there a shot that this gets done because as the days tick away, I feel less and less confident about it.
• 12:21
[SPEAKER_01]: And less Nick Thune grows a sack and then decides to.
• 12:25
[SPEAKER_01]: John Thune, uh, excuse me, Nick Thune is my favorite comedian.
• 12:28
[SPEAKER_01]: uh... in a home into the show high neck uh... love your work he's opening up from eight bargazzi city by city right now uh... but with that uh... john thune doesn't have the fucking ball sack to do it and i don't think the republicans want act of filibuster to get this done but that's one of the most important acts i think in our nation's history um... yeah do you think this will get completed
• 12:52
[SPEAKER_02]: The only way gets done is if they get rid of the filibuster, which again, the filibuster for people that don't know, the filibuster is not in the Constitution.
• 12:59
  [SPEAKER_02]: It's a Senate tradition.
• 13:01
[SPEAKER_02]: And so the Senate does have the power to get rid of it, and the majority party does have the power to get rid of it.
• 13:05
[SPEAKER_02]: You'd need the votes to do it, but they could do it.
• 13:07
[SPEAKER_02]: Now, for the longest time, it's always been a conservative...
• 13:11
[SPEAKER_02]: a conservative position that we want to limit power and I and I get that I'm all bored with it.
• 13:16
[SPEAKER_02]: What we need to understand is the Democrats are the moment the Democrats take control the Senate again.
• 13:20
[SPEAKER_02]: They're getting rid of the filibuster.
• 13:22
[SPEAKER_02]: They will get rid of it.
• 13:23
[SPEAKER_02]: There's no way they're going to allow it to obstruct them to be able to get whatever they want.
• 13:26
[SPEAKER_02]: The only reason why they didn't get it over the last time was because of two Democrats senators and that was Kristen Senniman Arizona and what's his name out of West Virginia.
• 13:35
[SPEAKER_02]: Both of them are gone now.
• 13:36
  [SPEAKER_02]: So, yeah, Manchin.
• 13:38
  [SPEAKER_02]: Thank you.
• 13:38
[SPEAKER_02]: Both of them are gone now.
• 13:40
[SPEAKER_02]: So, unless they get rid of the filibuster, there's no way they're passing the save act because you would need 60 votes.
• 13:46
[SPEAKER_02]: And we only got, you know, what, 53?
• 13:49
  [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, 53.
• 13:50
[SPEAKER_02]: So what it comes down to is we don't have the votes to actually what they so call call culture and then force a vote on this.
• 13:58
[SPEAKER_02]: And so the end result is it doesn't do it and now the next question would be does food have enough Republican votes to get rid of the filibuster?
• 14:04
[SPEAKER_02]: And I think the answer to that would be no.
• 14:06
[SPEAKER_02]: Because Lisa Mercowsky is going to bounce on that one.
• 14:09
[SPEAKER_02]: Susan Collins is going to bounce on that one.
• 14:11
[SPEAKER_02]: Susan Collins, I give a little bit more grace to she's in Maine and Windsor seat by the skin of her teeth.
• 14:15
[SPEAKER_02]: But like John Curtis and Utah, John Corne and Texas, John's probably going to lose his seat and it can't happen quick enough in my opinion.
• 14:23
  [SPEAKER_02]: Same.
• 14:23
[SPEAKER_02]: Because we've had too many people again in these safe states that are not willing to do difficult things when they actually have power.
• 14:30
[SPEAKER_02]: And the point I make out to other conservatives is like, look, I want to limit federal power.
• 14:35
[SPEAKER_02]: If you put me in charge of the federal government, you gave me dictatorial power within 24 hours, a fraction of the current federal government would exist.
• 14:43
[SPEAKER_02]: We'd have like three departments, right?
• 14:45
  [SPEAKER_02]: That would be it.
• 14:46
[SPEAKER_02]: All the other stuff would be gone.
• 14:48
[SPEAKER_02]: But when you have power, you would better wield it.
• 14:51
[SPEAKER_02]: Otherwise, you're signifying to your voters that you can never get anything done.
• 14:55
[SPEAKER_02]: And that's the problem and that's what John Thune has to face right now and by the way, guess where John Thunes is Senator from South Dakota, a safe safe, so that's a that's a perfect guy to primary if he's not willing to get the job done if you're not willing to do difficult things in this moment when the times call for it then you ain't the guy and we need to go find somebody else you're also signaling to leftist and globalists and that's on both sides of the political aisle because they're not all Democrats
• 15:23
[SPEAKER_03]: that it's open season on liberty, right?
• 15:27
[SPEAKER_03]: You know, it's incrementalism in reverse and they chip away bit by bit.
• 15:33
[SPEAKER_03]: That's the thing when you're the behemoth and we are, right?
• 15:36
[SPEAKER_03]: A country of 330, some million free people are a behemoth to be attacked.
• 15:41
[SPEAKER_03]: We've got to get it right most of the time and the enemies only got to get it right every now and again to slightly chip away.
• 15:46
[SPEAKER_03]: It's the same thing as the G1.
• 15:48
[SPEAKER_03]: And it makes for difficult fighting, frankly, and it's only, we're only really capable of fighting that fight if a plurality, it doesn't have to be a majority, but a plurality of men, in particular, have to know what the fuck they're talking about.
• 16:05
[SPEAKER_03]: People say the phrase unconstitutional, they don't know what the fuck is in the constitution, I promise you.
• 16:10
[SPEAKER_03]: Most of those people have no idea what they're talking about.
• 16:12
[SPEAKER_03]: They have no concept of, like there's this big,
• 16:16
[SPEAKER_03]: You know, gaggle of libertarians now who are living in this fantastical, idealistic world that's theory only in no application.
• 16:24
[SPEAKER_03]: And I would encourage you to go read about the articles of Confederation and how poorly it did.
• 16:30
[SPEAKER_03]: We tried to do libertarianism as a unit here and it doesn't work, right?
• 16:36
[SPEAKER_03]: It's a good supplement, a very good one, actually, an useful one and a necessary one.
• 16:41
[SPEAKER_03]: But, you know, these people that
• 16:44
[SPEAKER_03]: are the loudest with regard to the Constitution have no idea what's in it.
• 16:49
[SPEAKER_03]: Why we made the decisions we did, what the argument was in the Constitutional Convention when George Mason said he would rather cut his hand off and sign it, because we are not going to create a new king, right?
• 17:01
[SPEAKER_03]: And then there was this whole debate that took place over some amount of time.
• 17:05
[SPEAKER_03]: where finally Madison said, I promise you I will get the bill of rights on the docket as soon as Congress begins and we will have negative rights in this country where the government has limited to the constitution and it alone for its power.
• 17:21
[SPEAKER_03]: And then everything else is limited in this new docket and we have a balance between the executive and the legislature.
• 17:26
[SPEAKER_03]: And everybody agreed at that point.
• 17:28
[SPEAKER_03]: All these people who were fucking screaming and calling each other, you're a servant to kings and you're a fucking this and you're that, you're a crazy person and they all happened our managed rather to have a debate and agree.
• 17:40
[SPEAKER_03]: And what it takes at the end of the day is leadership.
• 17:43
[SPEAKER_03]: The story that nobody ever really tells about that constitutional convention that I've tried to describe to people a couple times is that George Washington didn't want to come, but he was asked to come and he did, but he chose to stay silent during the entire thing.
• 17:57
[SPEAKER_03]: The only, he only made one comment all the way at the end adjusting the size of what a congressional district would be in population terms.
• 18:05
[SPEAKER_03]: He thought it would be a better idea to have slightly larger.
• 18:09
[SPEAKER_03]: But that's always said because he knew that his voice carried weight, but his presence also carried weight.
• 18:15
[SPEAKER_03]: Sitting there calmly and stoically like a fucking man, like a warrior, and letting everybody know that this is a serious situation and we're not leaving this room until we come to a fucking agreement.
• 18:25
  [SPEAKER_03]: Period, right?
• 18:26
[SPEAKER_03]: That's a kind of leadership you need in politics because most of those people are sneaky fuckers, right?
• 18:31
[SPEAKER_02]: But we don't have any of those in that and that's not in Congress but but I would I would disagree I would disagree with that we do have some good guys We don't have it.
• 18:41
[SPEAKER_02]: We don't have nearly as many as we need, but you don't have enough to get shit past and that's the problem.
• 18:45
  [SPEAKER_01]: So we don't.
• 18:47
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, but but here's the reason why I make that distinction is because 10 years in the general assembly and
• 18:54
[SPEAKER_02]: I remember I took a ton of tough votes.
• 18:57
[SPEAKER_02]: I voted against our state budget.
• 18:59
[SPEAKER_02]: I think eight of the 10 years I was there.
• 19:02
[SPEAKER_02]: And I remember people telling me, Nick, you can't vote against the budget.
• 19:04
[SPEAKER_02]: You're voting against teachers and police officers.
• 19:06
[SPEAKER_02]: I said, no, I'm voting against all the other crappy spending.
• 19:09
[SPEAKER_02]: You put into this because you want to threaten me with voting against teachers and police officers.
• 19:15
[SPEAKER_02]: And that's how you get the crap in there.
• 19:17
[SPEAKER_02]: Like, well, you're going to have a tough time explaining that to your constituents.
• 19:20
[SPEAKER_02]: And I've got no problem explaining it to my constituents.
• 19:23
[SPEAKER_02]: I am happy to go back and show them all of the garbage spending you through on top of this.
• 19:29
[SPEAKER_02]: I'm happy to do it.
• 19:30
  [SPEAKER_02]: Let's do it.
• 19:31
[SPEAKER_02]: And what I found is that the more you were willing to do it, it's one of the reasons why I got into social media.
• 19:36
  [SPEAKER_02]: I didn't do this on purpose.
• 19:37
[SPEAKER_02]: I got into social media initially because I watched the left and the media lied blatantly misrepresent and lied about what I was doing, what I was saying, what I was carrying.
• 19:47
[SPEAKER_02]: And the more I realized you just go directly to the people and all of a sudden you find out that, yeah, there's a lot of people that want that.
• 19:53
[SPEAKER_02]: But it's important to acknowledge the people that are fighting the good fight just as much as it is to call out the people who aren't because here's one of the things that happens behind the scene.
• 20:04
  [SPEAKER_02]: Right, I'll take a tough vote.
• 20:07
[SPEAKER_02]: And then, you know, again, I'll get it.
• 20:09
[SPEAKER_02]: What'll happen is somebody will be pissed because the bill passes any ways or the budget passes that whatever it is.
• 20:14
[SPEAKER_02]: And then I will talk about what happened and someone will be like, Why don't you do something about it?
• 20:19
[SPEAKER_02]: I'm like, Dude, I'm one vote out of 100 in the house of delegates.
• 20:22
[SPEAKER_02]: All right, I carried the bill.
• 20:23
[SPEAKER_02]: I voted against that other one.
• 20:25
[SPEAKER_02]: I told you all about it.
• 20:26
[SPEAKER_02]: I thought about it on the floor.
• 20:28
[SPEAKER_02]: You know, I did everything that is within my power to do.
• 20:31
[SPEAKER_02]: And they're like, I don't want to hear your excuses.
• 20:33
  [SPEAKER_02]: And then here's what'll happen.
• 20:35
[SPEAKER_02]: The moderates and the squishles will come over and say,
• 20:38
[SPEAKER_02]: you didn't get anything out of taking the hard boat on that one.
• 20:42
[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, yeah, I didn't like that bill either, but I voted yes, but I'm going to get something over here on the back end.
• 20:46
[SPEAKER_02]: You're not going to get anything and your people don't love you anymore for doing it.
• 20:50
[SPEAKER_02]: So it's important to when somebody is willing to take hard steps, you need to lift those guys up at the same time that you're going after the guys that are weaklings.
• 20:58
[SPEAKER_02]: Because if not, you get more weaklings.
• 21:01
[SPEAKER_01]: And by the way, I understand all that, but let's take this save back to again, and I'll go back to this because I think it's very, very important.
• 21:08
[SPEAKER_01]: I always live under the assumption that 90% of America's dumb, and I'm one of them, right?
• 21:14
[SPEAKER_01]: So I'm happy to raise my hand and join that group.
• 21:17
  [SPEAKER_01]: I understand it.
• 21:18
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not going to pretend to be somebody I'm not.
• 21:20
[SPEAKER_01]: The Save Act is so basic that 85% Republican and Democrat agree that you should be a legal citizen of this country to be able to vote.
• 21:30
[SPEAKER_01]: This should be the easiest fucking act to pass
• 21:33
[SPEAKER_01]: that we've had in this entire fucking country.
• 21:36
[SPEAKER_01]: Yep, we cannot get it done.
• 21:38
[SPEAKER_01]: So, yeah, we can praise whoever on each side or whatever, but unless something is done and signed,
• 21:44
[SPEAKER_01]: As a Republican voter, or let's say people who are new to the Republican Party, because they were sick of what happened on their Biden for four years, you're going to lose them by allowing this shit to not get done and not passing any of these bills, not passing any of these spending cuts, not passing any of the doge cuts, not passing the save act as a Republican myself.
• 22:06
[SPEAKER_01]: And Dan links more towards the middle and I'm, you know, more towards the right.
• 22:10
[SPEAKER_01]: I look at this and if November rolls around and we didn't get any of this shit accomplished, I sit there and I'm like, do I want to get off my fucking couch today?
• 22:18
[SPEAKER_01]: Do I want to go vote?
• 22:19
[SPEAKER_01]: Because what the fuck is this going to do for our nation?
• 22:22
  [SPEAKER_02]: No, you're not wrong.
• 22:23
  [SPEAKER_02]: You're not wrong.
• 22:24
[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not disagreeing with you on that on any, by any stretch of the imagination.
• 22:28
[SPEAKER_02]: I just want there to be, and again, this is what I would like.
• 22:30
[SPEAKER_02]: I recognize that this isn't the world we live in.
• 22:33
[SPEAKER_02]: But when Mike Lee is out there every single day telling the American people what's going
• 22:39
[SPEAKER_02]: and how we need to pass the save act and is offering constructive ways to do it, I don't want Mike Lee getting blame the same way John Thune does.
• 22:47
[SPEAKER_02]: But to your point, most people are not going to spend the time to differentiate between who the heck the senator from Utah is versus who the senator for South Dakota is.
• 22:56
[SPEAKER_02]: But the consequence of that, the consequence of that is the people that play the games keep getting re-elected and the people that don't want to play the games get tired and stop.
• 23:09
  [SPEAKER_02]: And that's the context.
• 23:10
[SPEAKER_02]: This goes back to what Dan was saying about this whole idea of.
• 23:13
[SPEAKER_02]: If you're going to say you love the Constitution, if you're going to say you love the philosophy which actually made the Constitution informed it, then that requires a little bit more civic responsibility than just saying, well, I voted, you know, it requires more than that.
• 23:26
[SPEAKER_02]: And quite frankly, and look, to be honest, if I'm just being perfectly honest, and this comes from, look, I'm of that, I served overseas, I lost friends of mine.
• 23:38
[SPEAKER_02]: I get a little bit pissy with this idea that it's just too much to ask.
• 23:43
[SPEAKER_02]: Um, because I understand, I don't want everybody obsessed with politics.
• 23:46
[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, half of what I talk about, I write about is stop obsessing over things that you can't control, and start putting your time and energy into the things that you can control, because it turns out that's going to make your politics better in the long run anyways.
• 23:59
  [SPEAKER_02]: Right?
• 23:59
[SPEAKER_02]: If you're good husband, if you're a good father, if you're raising responsible kids, you're probably going to have better voters and better elected officials than long run.
• 24:06
[SPEAKER_02]: But in the interim, when it is come, when it is time to vote, when it is time to understand what's going on,
• 24:12
[SPEAKER_02]: sitting and bitching or just voting doesn't honor everybody who fought died to make it possible.
• 24:22
[SPEAKER_02]: It doesn't honor my friends and that's the part where it's like, look, I get it.
• 24:28
[SPEAKER_02]: But I think more is owed.
• 24:30
[SPEAKER_02]: And this much I know from a looking at history, the moment people don't think more is owed, you're not going to get what you want.
• 24:36
[SPEAKER_02]: You're not going to get what you want.
• 24:37
[SPEAKER_02]: You're going to sit around confused and pissed, wondering why the world doesn't operate the way that you think it should.
• 24:43
[SPEAKER_02]: And I'm not talking about you directly.
• 24:44
[SPEAKER_02]: I'm just talking about the person that gives up.
• 24:46
[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, it's all the same.
• 24:47
  [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, it doesn't matter.
• 24:48
[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, they're all what they're trying to do is assume some sort of moral superiority through their ignorance.
• 24:54
  [SPEAKER_02]: And that's how free people's die.
• 24:56
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, that black pill stuff doesn't work on me to be honest.
• 25:01
  [SPEAKER_03]: I think it's maybe intentional or maybe it's just a consequence.
• 25:06
[SPEAKER_03]: Institutional trust is very low, but it's lower in the aggregate than it is even at the individual level.
• 25:15
[SPEAKER_03]: There isn't one member of Congress who has a
• 25:19
[SPEAKER_03]: an approval rating that's lower than the total bodies approval rating, you know what I mean?
• 25:24
[SPEAKER_03]: Yep, that we should have the inverse of that.
• 25:28
[SPEAKER_03]: We should know precisely who is good and who is not good, right?
• 25:31
[SPEAKER_03]: And it based on what?
• 25:32
[SPEAKER_03]: Right now it's based on branding.
• 25:34
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, oh yeah, it's based on branding and that's not how you run a country.
• 25:36
[SPEAKER_03]: You can't run a country on fucking vibes my friend That's why Trump doesn't give to fucks with the media thinks of him Because he's run successful businesses and he knows same thing with besin somebody comes at him and the media He's just like yeah, I'm smarter than you so
• 25:50
[SPEAKER_03]: We fucking wrapped this up.
• 25:52
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, we wrapped this up.
• 25:53
[SPEAKER_03]: Plato said that if you refuse to take part in your own governance, you'd do them to be ruled by fools.
• 26:00
[SPEAKER_03]: And that is where America is at this moment.
• 26:04
[SPEAKER_03]: We are ruled by absolute fools.
• 26:05
[SPEAKER_03]: I think Trump is an outlier.
• 26:07
  [SPEAKER_03]: He's not much of a politician.
• 26:08
[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, he's not very good at being a politician.
• 26:11
  [SPEAKER_03]: That's for sure.
• 26:12
[SPEAKER_03]: Because he says and does dumb shit all the time.
• 26:14
[SPEAKER_01]: However, he's good at the policies.
• 26:16
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, but that's a completely different thing and that's this is a big problem for us in the U.S. We have there is a massive divide between the politics required to get elected and the politics required to make policies reality.
• 26:31
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, they have very little to do with one another at this point and that is a serious fucking problem for us and the reason is because if you go to and I look
• 26:41
[SPEAKER_03]: We all hate women, right?
• 26:42
  [SPEAKER_03]: We're all misogynists here.
• 26:44
[SPEAKER_03]: Woman, a woman goes to the mechanic.
• 26:45
[SPEAKER_03]: Doesn't know shit about cars.
• 26:46
[SPEAKER_03]: What's he going to do?
• 26:48
[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, he's going to up.
• 26:48
[SPEAKER_03]: You need this and this and this and this and if you're a fucking man and you're out there and you don't understand the politics of your country, that's the way that fucking dude is talking to you as well.
• 26:57
[SPEAKER_03]: And you're getting fucking bent over and it's your fault, right?
• 27:00
  [SPEAKER_03]: Not you, obviously.
• 27:02
[SPEAKER_03]: But it's all of our fault.
• 27:02
  [SPEAKER_03]: This is
• 27:04
[SPEAKER_03]: There's been this cultural erosion where it's somebody else's problem to deal with.
• 27:10
[SPEAKER_03]: Everything is somebody else's problem and we hide behind this fucking pretend righteousness.
• 27:16
[SPEAKER_03]: Well, I didn't vote for you to one of those guys.
• 27:19
  [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, yeah.
• 27:19
[SPEAKER_03]: So you didn't do anything then.
• 27:20
[SPEAKER_03]: Shut the fuck up, right?
• 27:22
[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, this is this is.
• 27:24
[SPEAKER_03]: It isn't to say you should be cheerleading politicians, that's like rooting for the fucking Empire, in my opinion.
• 27:29
[SPEAKER_03]: But you have to be able to recognize when something makes sense.
• 27:33
[SPEAKER_03]: This, the, the, the libertarian position on war right now, the non-aggression principle, and backed up by the mistakes of the neo-congeneration is suicidal.
• 27:44
  [SPEAKER_03]: It is nonsense.
• 27:45
[SPEAKER_03]: You cannot run a country like that, especially one where we're dealing with pretty much every country on Earth to some degree.
• 27:51
[SPEAKER_03]: I'll remind everyone that the first time we ever deployed our military was the Navy to stop people from fucking with our boats, right?
• 27:58
[SPEAKER_03]: And it was the goddamn Muslims that we were sending them to fight this repired.
• 28:02
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, this is something that you should really understand again understand the history understand why we do the things we do Okay Bush and company the Wolfowitz doctor and was completely fucked.
• 28:14
  [SPEAKER_03]: It's Trotsky-eyed fucking Post-linin is bullshit this neoconism.
• 28:19
  [SPEAKER_03]: It's nonsense.
• 28:20
  [SPEAKER_03]: However,
• 28:22
[SPEAKER_03]: Trump strategically tightening a kill chain.
• 28:26
[SPEAKER_03]: As you negotiate, you punch, and you're like, you don't, you punch, you don't take their wallet.
• 28:30
  [SPEAKER_03]: Punch, you don't.
• 28:32
[SPEAKER_03]: That's how you fucking fight, okay?
• 28:34
[SPEAKER_03]: And it's a really smart way to go about doing things.
• 28:36
[SPEAKER_03]: And I don't know if you've been paying attention lately, but all these people that have been chirping about a ran are shutting the fuck up right now, aren't they?
• 28:42
[SPEAKER_03]: Because everything's trending back in the right direction.
• 28:44
[SPEAKER_03]: I'm not, don't ever trust anybody's plan or politicians or any of that bullshit.
• 28:48
[SPEAKER_03]: But you have to know enough.
• 28:51
[SPEAKER_03]: to be engaged in the conversation and not make a fool yourself, right?
• 28:56
[SPEAKER_03]: Because if you're not helping anybody, not you, obviously.
• 28:59
[SPEAKER_03]: I'm just saying, people have decided to enter into this foray of political commentary and they know very little about it.
• 29:08
  [SPEAKER_03]: And
• 29:09
  [SPEAKER_03]: That's your right.
• 29:10
  [SPEAKER_03]: Do what you want.
• 29:11
[SPEAKER_03]: I'm not going to censor anybody, but I'm going to make fun of you if you think that this was a war of choice, frankly.
• 29:17
[SPEAKER_03]: If that's the phrase you're leaning on after a thousand Americans have been killed and thousands more have been maimed by fucking EFP's like my friends and three ages out there doing fucking transnational terrorism on Iran's dime, technically on our dime if you want to make a big deal of
• 29:36
[SPEAKER_03]: All this stuff, and the fact that $5 to $15 per barrel of crude oil that goes through the straight-of-war moves historically has been called a terrorism search hard.
• 29:45
[SPEAKER_03]: $5 to $15, right, out of $80, out of an average price of $75 to $80 over the last 20 years, has gone to fighting terrorism in Iran.
• 29:55
  [SPEAKER_03]: Okay, cool, man.
• 29:56
[SPEAKER_03]: So we just decided to go invade them.
• 29:58
  [SPEAKER_03]: really?
• 29:59
  [SPEAKER_03]: No.
• 29:59
[SPEAKER_03]: And then the mechanics of the war also looked nothing like anything that happened during the G1.
• 30:03
[SPEAKER_03]: We didn't do it like this back then.
• 30:06
[SPEAKER_03]: So not asking it a fucking be a war hawker support, whatever.
• 30:11
[SPEAKER_03]: I think it's really important to have people in the conversation who are skeptical.
• 30:14
[SPEAKER_03]: Like JD Vance was very skeptical about this, right?
• 30:18
[SPEAKER_03]: and he has since said after meeting with the Iranians he's far less skeptical because he sees that there are a bunch of crazy assholes.
• 30:25
[SPEAKER_03]: You need that guy in the room that is like are we sure this is a good idea?
• 30:29
  [SPEAKER_03]: Here's five reasons why I don't think it's a good idea.
• 30:31
  [SPEAKER_03]: Can you address those?
• 30:33
[SPEAKER_03]: Because that's how you get turn a fucking bad plan into a good plan or a good plan to a great plan.
• 30:39
  [SPEAKER_03]: Right?
• 30:40
  [SPEAKER_03]: That's really important.
• 30:41
[SPEAKER_02]: And what's interesting about that as well is people were asking me because like I carried the defend the guard act in Virginia.
• 30:49
[SPEAKER_02]: I said, yeah, I don't want the national guard going to form wars without a declaration of.
• 30:53
[SPEAKER_02]: And they're like, well, then why aren't you being more critical of Trump over and Iran?
• 30:57
[SPEAKER_02]: I'm like, okay, a couple of reasons.
• 30:59
[SPEAKER_02]: One, Iran is a historic enemy of the United States.
• 31:01
[SPEAKER_02]: Anybody that says otherwise has not been paying attention to.
• 31:06
[SPEAKER_02]: Donald Trump has actually set a pattern of understanding the difference between a punitive expedition and a 20-year nation building exercise.
• 31:14
[SPEAKER_02]: He knows how to show up at the U.S. military get a job done and then leave.
• 31:18
[SPEAKER_02]: He doesn't feel any burning desire like the Bushco did to try to stay there for 20 years instead of parliamentary democracies in a place that has no interest in having parliamentary democracy.
• 31:29
[SPEAKER_02]: I said, so, that combined with, I don't know what Intel is seeing on the ground right now.
• 31:34
[SPEAKER_02]: I said, no, look, if Trump were to do a full-on ground-force invasion of Iran and try to take it over a nation-build, I'd be like, yeah, I'm out.
• 31:42
  [SPEAKER_02]: I'm out.
• 31:43
[SPEAKER_02]: Not because I don't think Iran is a horrible country, and I want to see regime change there.
• 31:47
[SPEAKER_02]: But because being a green beret, unconventional warfare was kind of our bread and butter, and if you don't have the necessary preconditions for organic regime change, then trying
• 31:59
[SPEAKER_02]: By the same token, when Donald Trump threatens to blow them off the face of the earth or to send in every single unit we have to crush them.
• 32:08
[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not going to sit here and lose my crap over it because he has to be able to threaten everything he possibly can before he shows up the negotiating table and they got to believe he's willing to do it.
• 32:20
[SPEAKER_02]: And I like I've never understood why that's difficult to understand except that when we look at the social media world and whatnot you gain credibility especially on the right by by hitting right and I got no problem with again people being skeptical and people bringing up you know important points.
• 32:37
[SPEAKER_02]: But it's just gone to a point now where it's like, what are we supposed to do?
• 32:40
[SPEAKER_02]: Just nothing ever we just sit back and get hit like, is that what happens?
• 32:44
[SPEAKER_02]: Or these ridiculous explanations where they try to pick up one thing.
• 32:48
[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, this explains it all.
• 32:50
  [SPEAKER_02]: It doesn't.
• 32:51
  [SPEAKER_02]: It's far more complex.
• 32:53
  [SPEAKER_02]: It's far more nuanced.
• 32:54
[SPEAKER_02]: And the people that are trying to tell you it isn't usually having a gender of their own.
• 32:58
[SPEAKER_03]: Wouldn't it be nice if it were all simple?
• 33:00
[SPEAKER_01]: it would be great but it's not and that's and that's the other problem I was a listener uh the other day who was in the chat it was like hey man um you know you guys talk about politics a lot more than you used to it's because we have to um it was never like this uh the country has changed so much within the last let's call it 20 years when you're able to see it right in front of your eyes and obviously I'm older and hindsight is is 2020 and you look back and you're like
• 33:23
  [SPEAKER_01]: Holy shit.
• 33:24
  [SPEAKER_01]: I can't believe this happens.
• 33:26
[SPEAKER_01]: And therefore, you have to care about politics more.
• 33:29
[SPEAKER_01]: Especially if you have children, I get three kids in a wife and all that other stuff.
• 33:32
[SPEAKER_01]: I care about their schools.
• 33:33
[SPEAKER_01]: I care about the programs.
• 33:34
[SPEAKER_01]: I care about the bills that are being passed.
• 33:37
  [SPEAKER_01]: I don't have a problem with that, Rand.
• 33:38
[SPEAKER_01]: I think, you know, when Dan and I have talked about this ad nauseam, like, yeah, they're fucking
• 33:44
[SPEAKER_01]: It's a horrific regime that we're trying to build nukes and all that of the shit, no issue with it.
• 33:49
[SPEAKER_01]: I think if other things were passed and codified into law before it, more people would have hope in the Republican Party right now and saying, all right, I'm going along with this because the other things have worked out, but they weren't passed.
• 34:02
  [SPEAKER_01]: They weren't codified.
• 34:03
  [SPEAKER_01]: No.
• 34:03
[SPEAKER_01]: And we're still dealing with this fucking save act bullshit.
• 34:06
[SPEAKER_01]: And I think we would have been on a better trajectory,
• 34:14
[SPEAKER_01]: really get it done in time and we're all depending upon one man versus all these other people and all these other states that we can't control like that dickhead you said in a south to kota.
• 34:24
[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think about south to kota unless somebody brings up south to kota for Chris sick.
• 34:31
[SPEAKER_01]: That is the last date on my fucking mind and I didn't even know he was from there until a few weeks ago.
• 34:36
[SPEAKER_03]: Well, incrementalism is by design in the United States, by the way.
• 34:42
[SPEAKER_03]: Things are difficult to buy design, and it's to keep people from being able to fucking take power here.
• 34:49
[SPEAKER_03]: We did that on purpose.
• 34:50
[SPEAKER_03]: Now, you have to understand the landscape you're playing, and if you're a politician, whether you consider yourself to be one or not.
• 34:57
[SPEAKER_03]: If you're in a political position, you are one to some degree, and the only solution
• 35:02
[SPEAKER_03]: to the frustration that happens as a result of incrementalism, because you're describing it perfectly right now, is communication, right?
• 35:10
[SPEAKER_03]: And this is why you have not just very competent people, but also very good communicators in cabinet level positions.
• 35:17
[SPEAKER_03]: Marco Rubio is an outstanding communicator.
• 35:19
[SPEAKER_03]: Before, when he first got nominated for this position, I believe my reaction was he is a bit of a fucking neocon for me, but he is being brought in specifically to handle China.
• 35:32
[SPEAKER_03]: and he hates China and his plan.
• 35:33
[SPEAKER_03]: I've heard him talk about his plan on China and it will fucking work, right?
• 35:37
[SPEAKER_03]: And he's done about, he is the most consequential Secretary of state of my lifetime.
• 35:42
  [SPEAKER_03]: I don't think it's even close.
• 35:44
[SPEAKER_03]: Scott Besant is the best Treasury Secretary, maybe in the history of this country.
• 35:49
[SPEAKER_03]: And keep in mind, people don't understand his history either.
• 35:52
[SPEAKER_03]: He worked for George Soros, not on the political fucking woke bullshit side, but on the monetary policy side who is out there fucking building and destroying economies across the fucking world.
• 36:04
[SPEAKER_03]: He is the absolute best at manipulating currency across multiple fucking countries.
• 36:11
[SPEAKER_03]: These people are very good communicators, they're very good at this stuff, but they need to do more.
• 36:19
[SPEAKER_03]: random, you know, retarded, fucking, I'm glad Robert Mueller's dead or whatever, stupid bullshit.
• 36:24
[SPEAKER_03]: He says from time to time, communicate, tell people why you're re-industrializing the United States.
• 36:30
[SPEAKER_03]: It's not just about jobs, it's also about national security, tell them why we're producing more energy.
• 36:36
[SPEAKER_03]: Tell them why we're bringing more US currency back into the United States to create at least a flat inflation if not deflation to some degree.
• 36:43
[SPEAKER_03]: All of this stuff can be explained.
• 36:45
  [SPEAKER_03]: People are dumb.
• 36:46
[SPEAKER_03]: But they're more ignorant than they are dumb, right?
• 36:49
[SPEAKER_03]: They're more ignorant than they are dumb.
• 36:51
[SPEAKER_03]: And if you take the time to sit down and explain it to him, this is why all these Republican politicians had a really successful time using podcasts to communicate to people in 24 election.
• 37:01
[SPEAKER_03]: Why the fuck are they not still doing that?
• 37:03
  [SPEAKER_03]: I don't understand.
• 37:04
[SPEAKER_03]: Why are they going to fucking CBS and CNN to have these conversations where only 65-year-old people are watching?
• 37:11
[SPEAKER_03]: Nick, that's a great, you go to the podcast.
• 37:13
  [SPEAKER_01]: Go to the podcast.
• 37:14
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, Nick, you can answer that because I watched those goddamn shows.
• 37:17
  [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
• 37:18
  [SPEAKER_02]: So, um...
• 37:19
[SPEAKER_02]: very few of them are actually a social media savvy like I'll give you an example so when when it comes to social media presence of politicians right x is kind of the one that they're all on and they all got the most views on on youtube so and and the reason why i'm giving you this is because i was in the virginia republican caucus in the virginia house of delegates right so got a hundred delegates there
• 37:41
[SPEAKER_02]: I have the largest social media presence in the Commonwealth of Virginia of all the politicians.
• 37:46
[SPEAKER_02]: The entire General Assembly combined did not have the social media presence that I did.
• 37:52
[SPEAKER_02]: When you go on certain platforms like YouTube, it goes Donald Trump, me, Bernie Sanders.
• 37:57
[SPEAKER_02]: So I'm sitting there in this Republican caucus and they're like, we got to hold the press conference and I look at them like, why?
• 38:04
[SPEAKER_02]: Because we got to get our message out to people.
• 38:06
[SPEAKER_02]: I'm like, so let me get the straight.
• 38:08
[SPEAKER_02]: You want to bring in reporters from five or six to some newspapers that all hate our guts.
• 38:14
[SPEAKER_02]: We're going to ask us ridiculous questions and have nothing to do with what we want to talk about.
• 38:17
[SPEAKER_02]: And then what they're going to do is they're going to allow your participation in this press conference to give the impression that they did some objective journalism.
• 38:26
[SPEAKER_02]: And then you're going to have them rewrite whatever they want to make you look like an idiot.
• 38:30
[SPEAKER_02]: And that's your idea of getting this out to people.
• 38:32
[SPEAKER_02]: They're like, well, well, what?
• 38:34
[SPEAKER_02]: Maybe we should hire a social media consultant.
• 38:36
  [SPEAKER_02]: I'm like, I'm right freaking here.
• 38:39
[SPEAKER_02]: It's not that difficult guys.
• 38:41
[SPEAKER_02]: Here's all you've got to do, literally talk about what's going on, hold your stupid phone up to your face, not too close, because some of them are just weirdos.
• 38:49
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
• 38:49
  [SPEAKER_02]: A little bit proud.
• 38:51
[SPEAKER_02]: And then just say, hey, this is what just happened, and this is what we need you to do, or this is what just happened, and I wanted you to know.
• 38:59
[SPEAKER_02]: And we looked at it, and again, we took this press conference, it happened exactly the way I said it was going to happen.
• 39:06
[SPEAKER_02]: And then I stepped outside, put my phone up.
• 39:09
[SPEAKER_02]: It's talked about the exact same topic.
• 39:12
[SPEAKER_02]: I said, OK, I got 500,000 views within six hours.
• 39:16
[SPEAKER_02]: Do you think any of those articles, or any of that report from Channel 7, or the Richmond Times dispatch?
• 39:23
[SPEAKER_02]: Do you think any of it's going to get that kind of reach?
• 39:25
  [SPEAKER_02]: No.
• 39:25
[SPEAKER_02]: No, and finally, I convinced some of them to start doing it, to start getting out and it was like, look, just try it.
• 39:32
[SPEAKER_02]: So we do have a new generation coming out that's actually a lot more comfortable with social media.
• 39:36
[SPEAKER_02]: We have some of the old guard that just don't understand it and scares them.
• 39:39
[SPEAKER_02]: But yeah, that was one of the things that set us apart is that we could show up on a long-form podcast.
• 39:44
[SPEAKER_02]: and talk about anything that you wanted to bring up because it turns out we know what we believe and we don't have to rely on very specific talking points because we're worried about pissing off some you know minor interest groups somewhere in our coalition.
• 39:56
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah and there's like a there's a time in place for things to just like anything else.
• 40:00
[SPEAKER_03]: I mean when it's hot outside you wear shorts, right?
• 40:03
[SPEAKER_03]: And then you bundle up when it gets cold.
• 40:05
[SPEAKER_03]: We are the tenets of classical liberalism are very attractive to us and should be and they should always be part of what we're doing.
• 40:14
[SPEAKER_03]: The more modern version of liberalism, which leans very heavily to the idea that we must be expansive when it comes to the equal protection.
• 40:24
[SPEAKER_03]: And they go way overboard on some of this stuff, right?
• 40:26
[SPEAKER_03]: Like you can't offend anybody.
• 40:27
[SPEAKER_03]: And this is goofy nonsense, right?
• 40:29
[SPEAKER_03]: There is a time in a place to look around and see how well things are going and be like, okay, let's get as many people under the umbrella of our success as possible.
• 40:38
[SPEAKER_03]: Right now is not what of those times actually, right?
• 40:41
  [SPEAKER_03]: It's not.
• 40:42
[SPEAKER_03]: This mass and chain migration that's happened.
• 40:46
[SPEAKER_03]: During a time when we've experienced 80% inflation since 2000, we've experienced 80% inflation in the last 26 years and we've allowed fucking 12 to 15 million people into our country as well.
• 40:58
  [SPEAKER_03]: Why?
• 40:58
[SPEAKER_03]: Why are we doing both of those at the same fucking time?
• 41:01
[SPEAKER_03]: There's a time in place for conservativeism and for liberalism.
• 41:05
[SPEAKER_03]: and right now very clearly it is the time for conservativism.
• 41:08
[SPEAKER_03]: That's why all of these conservative people who are actually conservative when on all these podcasts and they didn't even have to reach very deeply into their fucking memory bank to explain why they are important right now versus the other side.
• 41:19
[SPEAKER_03]: Here is the conditions on the ground right now.
• 41:22
[SPEAKER_03]: Here is what conservativism provides and it is a solution to the problem right now.
• 41:26
[SPEAKER_03]: There might come a time in 10 or 50 and there's 20 years where our economy is doing much better than it is right now, where we have a bunch better handle on our border, when we have a much better handle on our global partnerships and global security, we're going to be like, you know what?
• 41:40
[SPEAKER_03]: Now's the time to start going out and picking some more people to bulk up our numbers right now.
• 41:45
[SPEAKER_03]: But at any rate now, right now is not the time to be fucking having a bunch of Indians come into our tech work.
• 41:50
[SPEAKER_03]: I'm sorry, or a bunch of Chinese people to come in,
• 41:52
[SPEAKER_03]: to go to our universities.
• 41:54
[SPEAKER_03]: Now's not the time for that shit.
• 41:56
[SPEAKER_03]: I think it's very toned up the way the DC's handle it so far.
• 42:00
[SPEAKER_03]: I don't think, honestly, I think the bulk of people that are there just want a popularity contest and have no idea what the fuck they're talking about.
• 42:08
[SPEAKER_01]: I think they want a popularity contest and then they want to stay there forever so they can continue to make money and get insider trading and have the stake dinners and the nice wine and all that other shit.
• 42:20
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and real quick, Nick, the biggest thing that scares me is if you lose, and we don't pass to save act, you don't pass any of this stuff here by November.
• 42:28
[SPEAKER_01]: The difference with the Republicans, talk to talk, Democrats actually walk the fucking walk.
• 42:33
[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, they're going to put an impeachment on the fucking table day one in January of next year if they get the house.
• 42:40
[SPEAKER_01]: And even though it won't pass the Senate, they'll be able to say we impeach Trump three times fuck you.
• 42:45
[SPEAKER_01]: They're going to try the trials, they're going to try all the things.
• 42:47
[SPEAKER_01]: We've never done any of that, and I'm speaking we as a Republican party here, and you have a very limited window to get this done, and I agree with some of you said earlier in the show with the filibuster.
• 42:59
[SPEAKER_01]: You think the Democrats, they'll pass that fucking filibuster in ten seconds if they have the fucking power to.
• 43:05
[SPEAKER_01]: And that's what I'm worried about is you have the time now, we've got all three chambers.
• 43:10
  [SPEAKER_01]: Nothing's getting done.
• 43:11
  [SPEAKER_01]: Nothing.
• 43:12
[SPEAKER_01]: Trump can only do that much.
• 43:14
[SPEAKER_03]: It's not true that nothing's getting done.
• 43:15
[SPEAKER_03]: Border, border cross, illegal border crossings have been reduced by 99.9%.
• 43:20
  [SPEAKER_03]: But that's Trump.
• 43:22
  [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, that's right.
• 43:22
[SPEAKER_01]: And put the executive branch in this.
• 43:24
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and hey, here's the thing.
• 43:26
[SPEAKER_01]: And that new budget that just passed, what was thrown out of that bill?
• 43:30
[SPEAKER_01]: DHS, DHS spending, Homeland Security, fucking ice, all that other shit, we caved on that.
• 43:37
[SPEAKER_01]: The Republican Party caved on that, because we wanted to pass that budget.
• 43:41
[SPEAKER_01]: That's the only way you're going to keep your country safe, but we caved on that.
• 43:44
  [SPEAKER_03]: I mean, that's not, that's partially true.
• 43:47
[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, the biggest thing that can be changed in that regard is the incentive structure, right?
• 43:53
[SPEAKER_03]: Like people only come here because they can get free shit.
• 43:56
[SPEAKER_03]: the bulk of them people they're like you incentives drive outcomes Elon says this shit all the time it is like if he had an employee handbook it would say incentives drives outcomes that would be the only sentence in that entire handbook yeah and it's it's very true because if I set up a situation where
• 44:14
[SPEAKER_03]: It is an arduous process to get into our country, but once you get here, your level of competition will at least have a heavy impact on your level of success.
• 44:24
[SPEAKER_03]: Then you will get people who don't give a fuck about working hard or go through a difficult process who also know that it takes time to build.
• 44:30
[SPEAKER_03]: And that's the exact amount of the fucker I want coming here, right?
• 44:33
  [SPEAKER_03]: We have...
• 44:34
[SPEAKER_02]: When you look at the history of immigration at its states, Milton Friedman said this best, because you can't have, and this is something where again, Milton Friedman is a libertarian talking against his own side on the Kato Institute, because you can't have open borders and an elaborate welfare state.
• 44:49
[SPEAKER_02]: You're creating perverse incentives to come to the country.
• 44:51
[SPEAKER_02]: There was a time when the United States was able to absorb a lot of immigrants in a relatively quick period of time.
• 44:57
[SPEAKER_02]: The difference was, there was much lower population, much more land, much more opportunity, and very little on the form of welfare, and virtually no welfare at the federal level.
• 45:07
[SPEAKER_02]: Federal welfare is pretty much a phenomenon in the 20th century.
• 45:11
[SPEAKER_02]: for the first hundred years you're coming to the country you better be able to make it you can rely on your family you can rely on maybe a group or a church or whatever else but there is no federal welfare program for you
• 45:23
[SPEAKER_02]: And again, that creates a sort of incentive.
• 45:26
[SPEAKER_02]: We're now people want to come over here because they're looking for opportunities, not handouts.
• 45:30
[SPEAKER_02]: But a combination of a massive welfare state and then heart-seller act, well then all of a sudden we said, well, we're just going to take immigration from everywhere because they said, well, our prior immigration policy was racist.
• 45:41
[SPEAKER_02]: You could certainly point to some aspects of it and say, yeah, sure, but you can also look at things not through the lens of race, but through the lens of culture.
• 45:48
[SPEAKER_02]: We are a specific culture which created our declaration of independence, our constitution, the concept of federalism, that is a specific culture that created that.
• 46:00
[SPEAKER_02]: If you're bringing people from cultures where they have similar social, economic, theological, political traditions, it's going to be a lot easier, most likely, for them to assimilate.
• 46:10
[SPEAKER_02]: Now does that mean you can't bring in people from other countries?
• 46:12
[SPEAKER_02]: No, you can, but you can't bring them in and mess.
• 46:15
  [SPEAKER_02]: Why?
• 46:15
[SPEAKER_02]: Because the natural tendency of all human beings is, if I'm going to a new and strange land, I look for the people that look and act like me.
• 46:23
  [SPEAKER_02]: On Clevver.
• 46:24
[SPEAKER_02]: And if you do that and you can actually create a ghetto system or a support system, when all of a sudden, you don't need to assimilate.
• 46:31
[SPEAKER_02]: You simply change the area that you've now immigrated to.
• 46:34
[SPEAKER_02]: And so there's nothing racist or xenophobic or wrong or incorrect about a society saying, look, we have certain cultural institutions which are very important to our society functioning properly.
• 46:48
[SPEAKER_02]: And if you are coming from a place with diametrically opposed worldviews, well that's probably not the best recipe for assimilation.
• 46:56
[SPEAKER_02]: Unless of course you're leaving that because you're fleeing in it and you're grateful to the United States.
• 47:01
[SPEAKER_02]: But after heart-seller what we had is a lot of people coming into this country taking advantage of it and then acting like we're the ones that are supposed to change in order to accommodate them.
• 47:12
[SPEAKER_02]: I am fine being hospitable.
• 47:14
[SPEAKER_02]: I'm done accommodating bad house guests.
• 47:18
  [SPEAKER_02]: you can get out.
• 47:19
[SPEAKER_02]: If where you came from was so much better than where you've come to, great, why don't you take all of your talent, effort and intelligence and go back to make it the sort of place that you can actually live in because you clearly don't appreciate what you have here.
• 47:32
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and as far as us having to accept everybody else's culture in our fucking country, I'm tired of that too.
• 47:41
[SPEAKER_01]: Friday night was the perfect example of it.
• 47:43
[SPEAKER_01]: I just happened to be watching it live.
• 47:44
[SPEAKER_01]: It was on Coach Shella, and it was Sabrina Carpenter, who's left, has made no fucking bones about it.
• 47:52
[SPEAKER_01]: She's on the left side.
• 47:53
[SPEAKER_01]: But when that girl screamed at...
• 47:55
[SPEAKER_01]: Kick it a kick, kick it a kick!
• 47:56
[SPEAKER_01]: And then she's like, what the fuck is that?
• 47:58
  [SPEAKER_01]: And she's like, it's my culture.
• 48:00
[SPEAKER_01]: I don't care about your fucking culture.
• 48:03
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, my culture is for you to shut the fuck up.
• 48:05
[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, I wish, and obviously she did the right thing and not the raw thing to do, but if I was on stage plan, I would have been like, hey, motherfucker, you're in America.
• 48:14
  [SPEAKER_01]: How the fuck?
• 48:15
[SPEAKER_01]: Am I supposed to know what your culture is and also care about it in the meantime?
• 48:18
[SPEAKER_01]: Like, go do that shit somewhere else, and if I come to your country to perform, then great.
• 48:23
[SPEAKER_01]: I'll take the time to learn your culture, but right now you're here.
• 48:27
  [SPEAKER_01]: Uh, yes.
• 48:28
[SPEAKER_03]: Or take the time to learn Oracle.
• 48:29
[SPEAKER_03]: It's my culture to have a gun on my person at all times.
• 48:33
[SPEAKER_03]: And you are offending me by telling me that I cannot.
• 48:36
[SPEAKER_03]: Uh, it's my as a human right, actually, I think.
• 48:39
  [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
• 48:39
[SPEAKER_01]: And so that's the thing that's, uh, if we don't nip all of this in the bud, soon.
• 48:44
[SPEAKER_03]: Nip is a racist word for Japanese people, by the way, just saying.
• 48:47
[SPEAKER_01]: Great, happy to use it, dude.
• 48:49
  [SPEAKER_01]: What's the next one?
• 48:49
[SPEAKER_01]: I got a zipper on my jeans here, zipper head.
• 48:52
  [SPEAKER_03]: Zipper head?
• 48:52
  [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that's one.
• 48:53
[SPEAKER_01]: When my penis gets caught in a zipper, that's fine.
• 48:55
[SPEAKER_03]: That's not what that means, but yeah, I understand.
• 48:57
  [SPEAKER_01]: Whatever.
• 48:57
  [SPEAKER_03]: Descriptive, yes.
• 48:58
  [SPEAKER_01]: Don't care.
• 48:59
[SPEAKER_01]: But with all of this shit, we have such a limited window right now.
• 49:04
[SPEAKER_01]: And Dan and I have said this on the show for the last year.
• 49:06
[SPEAKER_01]: you're looking at September to at least get some of this shit done or we could potentially lose the house if you believe some of the betting markets that are out there potentially lose the Senate although I think you know we keep it by one or two seats I think it's close
• 49:21
[SPEAKER_01]: It's going to be very close up until that night.
• 49:23
[SPEAKER_01]: And Dan and I will probably be on air.
• 49:24
[SPEAKER_01]: So four o'clock in the fucking morning, as it's going down to see if we didn't lose that to unless something drastic changes.
• 49:33
[SPEAKER_01]: With this thing in Iran, let's start with that.
• 49:37
[SPEAKER_01]: Trump has said four to six weeks.
• 49:39
[SPEAKER_01]: All of us are pretty much holding him out as word.
• 49:42
[SPEAKER_01]: Gas prices are starting to drop.
• 49:43
[SPEAKER_01]: I looked on the way in.
• 49:44
[SPEAKER_01]: I always look on the drive in.
• 49:47
[SPEAKER_01]: What do you think is going to be acceptable for Americans who were voting in the mid-terms of when the Iran conflict should be finished?
• 49:55
  [SPEAKER_01]: We are done.
• 49:56
[SPEAKER_01]: We are out of there and this is all wrapped up.
• 49:59
[SPEAKER_02]: If gas prices drop significantly before the summer, if they go back to, you know, and then they'll say $80 range or whatnot, if that happens at the same time that Trump can come back and point to point to very specific things that we're achieved.
• 50:14
[SPEAKER_02]: And by the way, he has achieved specific things, like if you look at the four objectives that he laid out, some of those objectives have already been met.
• 50:22
[SPEAKER_02]: The problem was, is everyone now is thinking regime change, and so that's the only metric that seems to matter to people.
• 50:27
[SPEAKER_02]: But it's like anything else in politics, right?
• 50:30
[SPEAKER_02]: They can be all mad about this.
• 50:31
  [SPEAKER_02]: Don't worry about it.
• 50:32
[SPEAKER_02]: They'll be something else to be mad about tomorrow.
• 50:34
[SPEAKER_02]: But if gas prices drop and we come out of that, and it looks as if, okay, we achieve something significant.
• 50:40
[SPEAKER_02]: There's some sort of deal on the table that Iran is willing to sign.
• 50:44
[SPEAKER_02]: Um, well, then yeah, I think we can get back into focusing on the things that are going to help Republicans more in the midterms.
• 50:51
[SPEAKER_02]: But here's the other thing I want to stress.
• 50:53
[SPEAKER_02]: And this goes again, this goes back to what was being said before.
• 50:57
[SPEAKER_02]: If you're getting mad at Donald Trump for things that the Senate is failing to do, because by the way, you know who's already passed the save act, the House of Representatives.
• 51:05
  [SPEAKER_02]: Yep.
• 51:05
  [SPEAKER_02]: Right.
• 51:05
[SPEAKER_02]: The very body that we could potentially lose, because I think we're far more likely to lose that one than the Senate, they've passed the save act.
• 51:11
[SPEAKER_02]: They've done the thing you've asked them to do.
• 51:14
[SPEAKER_02]: The problem is to your point is they won't get credit for doing that thing, unless it actually becomes law.
• 51:19
[SPEAKER_02]: And so this is the part where I think if Iran can be more or less settled by, let's say, June.
• 51:25
[SPEAKER_02]: And Trump can get in an apply pressure with respect to the Senate, getting certain things done.
• 51:31
[SPEAKER_02]: One of two things will happen, right?
• 51:33
[SPEAKER_02]: Well, either miraculously get things done that we want done like the say that.
• 51:40
  [SPEAKER_02]: Or...
• 51:41
[SPEAKER_02]: We will at least know who to blame, because Trump will focus a lot of attention on the problem children within the United States Senate that are actually causing this.
• 51:51
[SPEAKER_02]: And that will at least give a far more positive outlet for where the frustration should be.
• 51:55
[SPEAKER_02]: But ultimately, something's got to...
• 51:59
[SPEAKER_02]: There's got to be some wins that we can point to that the American people showing up to vote in midterms, which again, usually has a lot lower voter turnout than in the general election or than the presidential years typically the people that are more likely to show up in midterms are the ones that are mad at the president because it's the opportunity to push back.
• 52:17
[SPEAKER_02]: So we're going to need to be able to motivate people to do it.
• 52:20
[SPEAKER_02]: Some of that is going to be by pointing to things like what's happening in Virginia or Washington state right now and just how bad it can really get when they're in charge.
• 52:29
[SPEAKER_02]: But you can't just win, you can't expect to win all the time by pointing out how bad the other guys are.
• 52:34
[SPEAKER_02]: You've got to do substantive things on your own side.
• 52:36
[SPEAKER_02]: And again, to the point before, when it comes to like border security, when it comes to deportations, anybody that says we haven't achieved anything is not paying attention to the numbers with what they were in the Biden administration versus what they are right now.
• 52:48
[SPEAKER_02]: But there needs to be some other good substantive domestic policies that people in Congress can actually run on instead of Democrats bat.
• 52:57
  [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I think there's a couple.
• 52:59
[SPEAKER_01]: All right kids we got some sponsors to put the shit wagon on the air first and foremost first form dot com forward slash drinking bro

• 1:03:41
[SPEAKER_03]: We control 40% of the world's crew petroleum right now, does everybody know that?
• 1:03:44
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, nobody knows that because nobody's fucking set it right just say it out loud Right, but a lot of this is part of a good demoralization operation as well where there are bad actors on both sides of the aisle and then some some that are completely Apolitical that are that are just globalist Cons that want you to believe that nothing's been done, right?
• 1:04:04
  [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah in reality
• 1:04:06
  [SPEAKER_03]: Border crossings are down.
• 1:04:08
[SPEAKER_03]: 2.6 million people have been ejected from this country that didn't belong here.
• 1:04:13
  [SPEAKER_03]: That's not nothing.
• 1:04:14
  [SPEAKER_03]: That's not nothing.
• 1:04:15
[SPEAKER_03]: That's more than is ever left this country.
• 1:04:17
  [SPEAKER_03]: It's been two years.
• 1:04:19
  [SPEAKER_02]: Less than two years.
• 1:04:20
[SPEAKER_02]: And it's important to point out that he was able to do this at the same time.
• 1:04:24
[SPEAKER_02]: But the judiciary was doing everything within their power to obstruct him with nationwide intentions.
• 1:04:29
[SPEAKER_02]: And then you had blue city mayors, blue city district attorneys, you had governors, you had attorney generals, you had blue city police chiefs, there were all actively engaging and obstruction against the ice at the same time.
• 1:04:40
[SPEAKER_02]: So it's not as life, he was just doing this in a vacuum.
• 1:04:43
[SPEAKER_02]: He was doing this in an incredibly difficult situation in which to do it, and he did it while following the law, regardless of what the left wants you to believe on that.
• 1:04:51
[SPEAKER_02]: And again, that's the part where it's like, if we don't get credit where credit is due,
• 1:04:58
[SPEAKER_02]: You've got to get out there and show the numbers, show the graphs, do the visualizations that make it very easy for people to take one look at it and go, oh my gosh, you look at that graph with what refugee status was under Biden.
• 1:05:14
[SPEAKER_02]: versus what it became almost the day after Trump took office.
• 1:05:17
[SPEAKER_02]: And there's no question that something significant happened virtually overnight with a change in leadership.
• 1:05:23
[SPEAKER_02]: But if people don't see it, don't expect him to vote for it.
• 1:05:25
[SPEAKER_03]: No, I mean, yeah, you have to talk.
• 1:05:29
  [SPEAKER_03]: It is politics.
• 1:05:30
[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, cartels have been designated as a foreign terror organization.
• 1:05:34
[SPEAKER_03]: And as a result in fiscal 25, fentanyl deaths were down 20%.
• 1:05:43
[SPEAKER_03]: Our people are not getting fucking murdered by China anymore.
• 1:05:47
[SPEAKER_03]: I would be talking about that.
• 1:05:49
[SPEAKER_03]: I would be talking about Obviously all the energy stuff the tariff and trade deals and the foreign investment in U.S.
• 1:05:58
[SPEAKER_03]: I don't want to get two in the weeds again because we're going through a list here
• 1:06:00
[SPEAKER_03]: but one of the ways that you create flat inflation or even currency deflation is to find outstanding currency on the open global market and bring it back to your country and use that money to rebuke down debt, which bests it's done three times now.
• 1:06:16
[SPEAKER_03]: Cutting the federal government workforce.
• 1:06:19
[SPEAKER_03]: by 20% so far, the current federal government workforce, including, by the way, the fact that we still have DHS, it's never been lower since 1960.
• 1:06:28
[SPEAKER_03]: And it's at its lowest point since 1960.
• 1:06:32
[SPEAKER_03]: Trump is, for all the other bullshit, the only conservative president that you have ever had in your lifetime when it comes to the federal workforce, the only one.
• 1:06:39
[SPEAKER_03]: And I don't care how old you are unless you're 100 years old, that is true.
• 1:06:43
[SPEAKER_02]: That's time the federal government was smaller than when a president took office
• 1:06:49
  [SPEAKER_03]: That's right.
• 1:06:50
[SPEAKER_02]: So the fact that he's cut literally hundreds of thousands of federal workforce jobs.
• 1:06:54
[SPEAKER_02]: And by the way, this is also a good time to point out because stuff like that will hurt candidates in Virginia because we have such a large federal workforce.
• 1:07:01
[SPEAKER_02]: But just about everywhere else in the country, it's like, hey, did you know we cut, you know, 250,000 federal workforce jobs?
• 1:07:10
[SPEAKER_02]: do you know that means you don't got to pay as much taxes by the way, have you noticed any change in your day-to-day life now that a quarter of a million federal workers are no longer taking your tax dollars?
• 1:07:21
  [SPEAKER_02]: No.
• 1:07:22
  [SPEAKER_02]: Exactly.
• 1:07:23
[SPEAKER_03]: It's not great for them.
• 1:07:24
  [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
• 1:07:25
[SPEAKER_01]: But it's true and if you're right.
• 1:07:27
[SPEAKER_03]: And then all the foreign policy stuff too, I mean all the peace deals that have been made,
• 1:07:40
[SPEAKER_03]: Venezuela in Iran operation specifically and what they've done to China.
• 1:07:44
[SPEAKER_03]: China was for almost two decades buying petroleum and it's not just about
• 1:07:51
  [SPEAKER_03]: energy for them.
• 1:07:52
[SPEAKER_03]: It's also about all the cheap plastic shit that makes up 25-30% of their economy.
• 1:07:58
[SPEAKER_03]: They were buying it at pennies on the dollar.
• 1:08:01
[SPEAKER_03]: In this world right now, full of globalists who are trying to re-institute multi-polarity and which has never worked by the way.
• 1:08:09
[SPEAKER_03]: The world is only generally peaceful during times like Pax Romana when the Roman Empire is at its fucking strongest.
• 1:08:16
[SPEAKER_03]: when the American Empire's at its strongest, when the English Empire was at its strongest.
• 1:08:20
[SPEAKER_03]: That's when the world does well, when it has leadership, imagine that.
• 1:08:23
  [SPEAKER_03]: Right?
• 1:08:25
[SPEAKER_03]: During this time period, where these globalists and communists in the UN and W.E.F.
• 1:08:31
[SPEAKER_03]: and all the other organizations, including our own Congress, are trying to re-institute multiplayerity.
• 1:08:37
[SPEAKER_03]: Trump looked at China who is the closest to making it happen, and said, you know what?
• 1:08:41
[SPEAKER_03]: We're going to fucking kill him.
• 1:08:42
[SPEAKER_03]: We're not going to fire a single shot at them.
• 1:08:45
  [SPEAKER_03]: we never would.
• 1:08:46
  [SPEAKER_03]: Because it's not necessary.
• 1:08:47
[SPEAKER_03]: We are going to pencil their entire economy, starting in Venezuela, moving our way to fucking Iran and then back to Cuba.
• 1:08:54
[SPEAKER_03]: And by the time, Trump leaves office, China will be a shell of its former self.
• 1:08:58
[SPEAKER_03]: And it will either comply or it will fucking be a, it will be dust.
• 1:09:02
[SPEAKER_03]: They don't have any options left right now.
• 1:09:04
[SPEAKER_03]: And these are really big things.
• 1:09:07
[SPEAKER_03]: Those are really big things that have happened that if positioned the United States to be a global force unmatched for the next five to 10 decades, right?
• 1:09:18
  [SPEAKER_01]: 50 to 100 years.
• 1:09:19
[SPEAKER_01]: If we can keep the right people in power.
• 1:09:21
[SPEAKER_03]: Now, I mean, this stuff is already a mode.
• 1:09:22
[SPEAKER_03]: It's like, we need to do a little bit more with regard to China, but they are teetering right now.
• 1:09:26
  [SPEAKER_03]: It's got, I don't know that they've been hit really hard.
• 1:09:30
[SPEAKER_03]: It's gonna be, the one is at a fucking 45-year low right now.
• 1:09:35
  [SPEAKER_03]: has made no rebounds.
• 1:09:37
[SPEAKER_03]: And again, we own a business.
• 1:09:40
[SPEAKER_03]: Imagine our supply chain gets hit in such a way that our fucking overhead goes from 5% to 100%.
• 1:09:46
  [SPEAKER_03]: Right?
• 1:09:47
  [SPEAKER_03]: We are fucked.
• 1:09:48
  [SPEAKER_03]: That's how that works.
• 1:09:49
[SPEAKER_03]: And that's what's happened to China over the last couple of months.
• 1:09:52
[SPEAKER_03]: Now I'm not asking you to trust the plan or
• 1:09:55
[SPEAKER_03]: believe in politicians or any other shit or make excuses for any of the dumb shit or shit you disagree with it happens.
• 1:10:02
[SPEAKER_03]: What I am asking you to do is understand that there's an effort underway and your job is to be part of that effort and not a cuddle for the left and globalist to demoralize us.
• 1:10:11
  [SPEAKER_03]: That's it.
• 1:10:13
[SPEAKER_03]: Understand what's happening and say, you know what?
• 1:10:15
[SPEAKER_03]: I like this and this and this, let's do more of that, don't like that, let's not do that.
• 1:10:19
[SPEAKER_03]: But this idea that's like, I'm voting for Democrats in 26, shut the fuck up.
• 1:10:23
[SPEAKER_03]: Dave Smith and fuckin' Faggot.
• 1:10:25
[SPEAKER_03]: Is that what he said?
• 1:10:26
  [SPEAKER_03]: Yes.
• 1:10:27
[SPEAKER_03]: He said he's voting for Democrat.
• 1:10:28
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, he said he's got a paid or a public and he's got to know there's a price to pay for this.
• 1:10:32
  [SPEAKER_03]: Shut the fuck up.
• 1:10:33
[SPEAKER_03]: You've never paid a price in your life.
• 1:10:35
[SPEAKER_02]: So, Leverterians are going to put communist that won new trans children in charge.
• 1:10:39
  [SPEAKER_02]: That's a brilliant move, Dave.
• 1:10:41
[SPEAKER_02]: Way to think that went through.
• 1:10:42
[SPEAKER_02]: When I think the other thing too that people need to understand this goes back to our constitutional system, because a lot of people are, they're understandably frustrated because they think Trump is so focused on foreign issues, where they thought he was going to be more focused on the domestic.
• 1:10:57
[SPEAKER_02]: I think there's two responses to that that need to at least be considered.
• 1:11:01
[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not asking people to not be frustrated, but at least consider it.
• 1:11:04
[SPEAKER_02]: One is Trump did do a lot of focusing on the domestic.
• 1:11:07
[SPEAKER_02]: The thing is is that there's a certain point where the legislature or the judiciary has to do its thing.
• 1:11:13
[SPEAKER_02]: That's the way our Constitution was set up.
• 1:11:15
[SPEAKER_02]: It was not meant to.
• 1:11:16
[SPEAKER_02]: Our federal government was never meant to be a hot, you know, a hot night through butter.
• 1:11:20
[SPEAKER_02]: It was meant to have multiple checks and balances so you didn't get too much of a concentration of power.
• 1:11:25
[SPEAKER_02]: And so Trump did a lot of things that he could do through executive power, but you got to have the votes in Congress and you got to have judges that will rule in accordance with what you want.
• 1:11:35
[SPEAKER_02]: So that limits what he can do domestically.
• 1:11:37
[SPEAKER_02]: He has far less limitations on what he can do with respect to foreign affairs.
• 1:11:42
[SPEAKER_02]: because the Constitution grants the executive branch a lot of discretion in that area.
• 1:11:46
[SPEAKER_02]: And so when you look at what he did with Panama, that was huge, almost nobody's talking about it.
• 1:11:51
[SPEAKER_02]: When he did with Greenland, that was huge.
• 1:11:54
[SPEAKER_02]: That was not just huge for strategic reasons.
• 1:11:57
[SPEAKER_02]: Most people like, why do we care about this block of ice?
• 1:11:59
[SPEAKER_02]: Because it's one of the most strategic places in the world with respect to transit, not to mention with respect to rare earth minerals.
• 1:12:05
[SPEAKER_02]: Why did he do this thing in Venezuela?
• 1:12:07
[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, you mean the country with the largest known oil reserves in the world that was cozy enough to both Russia and China before we stopped it?
• 1:12:15
[SPEAKER_02]: And oh, by the way, he didn't do it with a 20.
• 1:12:17
[SPEAKER_02]: I thought he was going to have to use way more military power to accomplish what he seems to be accomplishing very effectively in Venezuela right now.
• 1:12:25
[SPEAKER_02]: And then we're looking at Cuba.
• 1:12:26
[SPEAKER_02]: Cuba's probably going to collapse under its own weight at this point.
• 1:12:29
  [SPEAKER_02]: Why?
• 1:12:29
[SPEAKER_02]: Because 60 or percent of their imported oil was coming from Venezuela and guess what?
• 1:12:33
  [SPEAKER_02]: They don't get anymore.
• 1:12:34
[SPEAKER_02]: And the moment Mexico said, oh, we'll pick up the slack, Donald Trump's picked up the phone and said, how do you feel about tariffs?
• 1:12:41
[SPEAKER_02]: And they're like never mind, we're cool.
• 1:12:43
  [SPEAKER_02]: Yep.
• 1:12:43
[SPEAKER_02]: What he's managing to do right now is these leveraging American economic might in some of these areas to where he doesn't have to fire a shot or if he does have to use the military, it's for very, very specific, well-defined purposes where we're in and we're out.
• 1:12:59
[SPEAKER_02]: This one's been the most difficult Iran from a logistical standpoint, from a cultural standpoint, and I get it, right?
• 1:13:04
[SPEAKER_02]: Anybody that was in Iraq and Afghanistan does not like the idea of going back and finding themselves in another Middle Eastern nation-building exercise.
• 1:13:12
[SPEAKER_02]: But I generally don't believe Trump's going to do that, but once you understand that
• 1:13:16
[SPEAKER_02]: You know, he focused a lot on the domestic initially, and then when it was like, OK, I've done what I'm supposed to do here, an immigration and law enforcement is continuing to do what they're supposed to do.
• 1:13:26
[SPEAKER_02]: But now I got to wait on Congress to pass stuff.
• 1:13:28
[SPEAKER_02]: What else should I be focusing on?
• 1:13:30
[SPEAKER_02]: Well, foreign affairs gives them a great deal of latitude with respect to what he can do.
• 1:13:35
[SPEAKER_02]: And it is a legitimate function of the federal government.
• 1:13:38
  [SPEAKER_02]: I mean, again,
• 1:13:40
[SPEAKER_02]: If you look at what the federal government was meant to be, if you look at Article 1, Section 8 of the Constitution, those powers are very limited and very enumerated, and yet the federal government is doing all kinds of things that's not supposed to.
• 1:13:53
  [SPEAKER_02]: Why?
• 1:13:53
[SPEAKER_02]: Well, we can get into the 16th Amendment of the Constitution, the 17th Amendment of the Constitution, the Federal Reserve Act, the New Deal, the Great Society, we can get into all of that, but those are things that have been developed over a hundred years.
• 1:14:08
[SPEAKER_02]: Trump's not going to dismantle all of the the federal overreach overnight.
• 1:14:13
[SPEAKER_02]: And so yes, while we push to do more, let's acknowledge wins when they're wins.
• 1:14:17
[SPEAKER_02]: And the Trump administration has to do a better job of talking about those.
• 1:14:21
[SPEAKER_02]: But then it's also understand what's actually motivating the actions that we currently say.
• 1:14:25
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, and I would say that your job as a America-loving patriot,
• 1:14:31
[SPEAKER_03]: is to find solutions to problems like that that exists that you can solve that box out the government.
• 1:14:37
[SPEAKER_03]: I've said this for years on the show and other shows.
• 1:14:41
[SPEAKER_03]: If you really want to limit, if you're a conservative and you're serious about limiting the government, what you can do is solve problems before they get to your area.
• 1:14:49
[SPEAKER_03]: They should, this is a unique situation in our country because we do have negative rights here, which means the right of the federal government to operate are limited to a specific few, right?
• 1:15:03
[SPEAKER_03]: And the only time they're able to go over that line is when we are weak.
• 1:15:09
  [SPEAKER_03]: That's it.
• 1:15:10
[SPEAKER_03]: So just this one example, people hate social security.
• 1:15:14
[SPEAKER_03]: Not only are we basically robbing people for social security and then telling them when they can have it back and when they can't.
• 1:15:21
[SPEAKER_03]: For loaning that money out in other places, it is going to become insolvent at some point.
• 1:15:28
  [SPEAKER_03]: And it's taxed.
• 1:15:30
  [SPEAKER_03]: for some fuckin' reason?
• 1:15:32
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, they're trying to run that tax right now.
• 1:15:35
  [SPEAKER_03]: But think about this.
• 1:15:36
[SPEAKER_03]: You're a fuckin' young dude and you work in finance.
• 1:15:41
[SPEAKER_03]: How about you start yourself a business that helps people make their own private retirement account and tell them to divest for fuckin' social security entirely?
• 1:15:48
[SPEAKER_03]: Or just forget about that.
• 1:15:49
[SPEAKER_03]: That's how you solve a fuckin' problem.
• 1:15:51
[SPEAKER_01]: Which Trump's got 4 million people that has already signed up for the Trump accounts.
• 1:15:55
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I was stunned with all that number.
• 1:15:56
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, because people aren't dumb.
• 1:15:58
[SPEAKER_03]: you know, people aren't dumb.
• 1:16:00
[SPEAKER_03]: They're they just don't know what their options are.
• 1:16:02
[SPEAKER_03]: This is you ask any dude that got out of the military from 2008 to 2016 or so they had no idea.
• 1:16:10
[SPEAKER_03]: and 20, late 2010, I had no idea what I was entitled to.
• 1:16:15
[SPEAKER_03]: I was like everybody else.
• 1:16:16
  [SPEAKER_01]: I wrapped it at 35% yeah.
• 1:16:18
  [SPEAKER_03]: I went to what's a Hellcat actually.
• 1:16:20
[SPEAKER_03]: I went to all the out-processing stuff, I had no idea.
• 1:16:25
[SPEAKER_03]: None of those people knew what the fuck they were talking about.
• 1:16:27
  [SPEAKER_03]: I had no idea.
• 1:16:28
[SPEAKER_03]: And that's the same thing with Americans.
• 1:16:30
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, you don't know what you're, and what I say entitled to, I don't mean entitlements.
• 1:16:34
  [SPEAKER_03]: I mean you're fucking right.
• 1:16:35
[SPEAKER_03]: The right to say no.
• 1:16:37
[SPEAKER_03]: the right to say, no, I'm not doing that.
• 1:16:38
  [SPEAKER_03]: Fuck you, right?
• 1:16:40
  [SPEAKER_03]: It's really important.
• 1:16:41
[SPEAKER_03]: But we operate where it's not enough to just have a right, to get a have a solution as well.
• 1:16:48
[SPEAKER_03]: And the solution is to
• 1:16:51
[SPEAKER_03]: find the thing, find the problem that the government is servicing, and do it yourself for yourself, for your family, for the people around you, and as far outward as you can go, and watch them fucking shrink, right?
• 1:17:03
  [SPEAKER_03]: It's about incentives.
• 1:17:05
[SPEAKER_03]: Right now they are incentivized to offer you free shit, because that free shit they offer you, turns into votes that keep them in power.
• 1:17:12
[SPEAKER_03]: The moment that free shit doesn't matter anymore,
• 1:17:15
[SPEAKER_03]: The moment closing the street of Hormuz doesn't matter anymore.
• 1:17:18
[SPEAKER_03]: You lose that leverage, right?
• 1:17:19
[SPEAKER_03]: You see how that works?
• 1:17:20
[SPEAKER_03]: It works in foreign policy and it works right here at home as well.
• 1:17:23
[SPEAKER_03]: Take the fucking leverage away from those motherfuckers.
• 1:17:26
[SPEAKER_03]: by becoming strong and ungovernable.
• 1:17:29
  [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, that's it.
• 1:17:32
[SPEAKER_02]: I was having this conversation with the pastor, and we were talking to, and I was talking about all the government welfare systems, I'm like, look, I think these things create perverse incentives.
• 1:17:41
[SPEAKER_02]: I understand the impulse to want to help people in need.
• 1:17:43
[SPEAKER_02]: That is a noble impulse.
• 1:17:46
[SPEAKER_02]: But the moment you give the government a power to do that, you create a perverse incentive on two fronts.
• 1:17:51
[SPEAKER_02]: One is you teach politicians that they can steal from one side of the electorate in order to buy votes from the other side.
• 1:17:57
[SPEAKER_02]: And as long as you're stealing from fewer people than your buying votes from, you can stay in power and perpetuity.
• 1:18:03
[SPEAKER_02]: The difference is that now you're disincentivizing productivity, which is the very thing you need in order to get the stuff you're stealing.
• 1:18:10
  [SPEAKER_02]: So it's a, it's a poison pill.
• 1:18:13
[SPEAKER_02]: The other thing it does is it creates entitlement as opposed to gratitude.
• 1:18:18
[SPEAKER_02]: So I was, I was explaining to somebody once it said, you know, when I was a young private in the 82nd Airborne Division and my wife and I just got my were 19 and 20, I remember us, we got a little bit ahead of ourselves on the budget and the power got turned off.
• 1:18:34
[SPEAKER_02]: And we qualified at that point in our marriage.
• 1:18:37
[SPEAKER_02]: We qualified for public assistance.
• 1:18:39
  [SPEAKER_02]: We acquired further things.
• 1:18:40
[SPEAKER_02]: We took none of it.
• 1:18:42
[SPEAKER_02]: And my whole thing was, I guess, we're going to be cold until we can pay the bill.
• 1:18:47
[SPEAKER_02]: And some family stepped in and helped us out.
• 1:18:50
[SPEAKER_02]: That didn't create entitlement to me.
• 1:18:52
  [SPEAKER_02]: I didn't think I was owed money.
• 1:18:55
[SPEAKER_02]: I didn't think someone else was on the hook or responsible for keeping me and my wife warm.
• 1:18:59
[SPEAKER_02]: In fact, I felt a great deal of shame that I wasn't able to pay that bill.
• 1:19:04
[SPEAKER_02]: But when they hoped me, it didn't produce entitlement, it produced gratitude.
• 1:19:08
[SPEAKER_02]: It produced a willingness and an necessity to reciprocate.
• 1:19:11
[SPEAKER_02]: I remember that to this day, and when somebody else I see in need, I don't look at that as go run for a government program, I was like, no, how can I help my friend, my family, someone from my church?
• 1:19:22
[SPEAKER_02]: And the point that I was making to this pastor is I'm so sick and tired of hearing.
• 1:19:27
[SPEAKER_02]: Well, if the government doesn't do it, who would?
• 1:19:29
[SPEAKER_02]: I'm like, you know, we used to know the answer to that question, because it was either all do it for myself.
• 1:19:34
[SPEAKER_02]: I'll do it for my family, or the church will do it.
• 1:19:37
[SPEAKER_02]: But as soon as the church starts rendering stuff to Caesar, don't be surprised when Caesar starts to get the bright idea that they're God.
• 1:19:45
[SPEAKER_02]: And now they think that they need to be involved in every aspect of your life because after all, they're the one taking care of you.
• 1:19:51
[SPEAKER_02]: You weren't able to support yourself, and so now they're doing it, and so now they feel that they have certain rights and authorities to be able to govern your life for you.
• 1:19:59
[SPEAKER_02]: I said, so we do need to raise up a generation that actually understands differently, but I'll tell you this much, they're probably not going to get that message in a government run school system.
• 1:20:07
  [SPEAKER_01]: No.
• 1:20:07
[SPEAKER_02]: You're surely not going to give in a government run higher ed.
• 1:20:10
[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, one of the biggest grips we have right now is the school system and higher ed with their government and having sat four years on the education committee in the Virginia House of delegates, nobody gets to tell me that isn't a scam.
• 1:20:25
[SPEAKER_02]: Now, I'm not saying that education is not important, clearly is, but I don't think we should be shocked that when you put the government and charge of education, kids end up graduating, believing that the government supposed to run education and healthcare and your business and your retirement program.
• 1:20:41
[SPEAKER_02]: And sure enough, that's what we got.
• 1:20:44
  [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
• 1:20:45
[SPEAKER_02]: And again, it's another one of those things that I don't got to ask permission from the government to take control of that part of my life and my children's life back.
• 1:20:52
[SPEAKER_02]: I don't got to ask permission to do that.
• 1:20:54
[SPEAKER_02]: I can just do it.
• 1:20:55
[SPEAKER_01]: and other things like that that they can just do exactly and a lot of what you're talking about is actually in your book the man book which we'll chat about now like you go through the steps of this you go through the little things in life to help yourself help your family help your community help be a better friend a neighbor a husband a father all that other stuff what made you personally want to write this book
• 1:21:22
[SPEAKER_02]: So when I started getting on a social media moral again originally it was talking about a lot about politics.
• 1:21:29
[SPEAKER_02]: But in the course of doing that I started talking more about, you know, being a husband.
• 1:21:33
[SPEAKER_02]: The things I got married in 19 and 20 my wife and I both came from families with divorce and yet we've been married it'll be 27 years in May and we did it in the midst of being in the military, living on the other side of the country, wartime, so what made it work?
• 1:21:46
[SPEAKER_02]: And then I talked about raising a son, raising daughters, and how do you maintain a good relationship with your kids in the midst of sometimes being gone when I was in the military?
• 1:21:56
[SPEAKER_02]: How do you how do you stay true to what you actually believe when you're serving an elected office?
• 1:22:00
[SPEAKER_02]: So I just started talking about these things online and more and more people would stop me and say, hey, I really appreciate that thing you said about how to raise daughters.
• 1:22:08
[SPEAKER_02]: I just had my first little girl and I was I didn't know what to do in your video help.
• 1:22:13
[SPEAKER_02]: And so it was like, OK, I'm going to write a book about this stuff where again, it's not preachy.
• 1:22:17
[SPEAKER_02]: It's not me saying follow these three simple steps and everything will be fine.
• 1:22:22
[SPEAKER_02]: It's more about saying like, look, 46 years of life, going to combat being a husband, being a father.
• 1:22:27
[SPEAKER_02]: This is what I learned a lot of it the hard way.
• 1:22:30
[SPEAKER_02]: But I kind of start off with saying, OK, young men, here's the deal.
• 1:22:34
[SPEAKER_02]: There's five aspects of your life that
• 1:22:37
  [SPEAKER_02]: never change, right?
• 1:22:38
[SPEAKER_02]: You got the spiritual aspect.
• 1:22:39
[SPEAKER_02]: What do you believe about God?
• 1:22:40
[SPEAKER_02]: That is important because it will form the foundation for objective truth and morality.
• 1:22:45
[SPEAKER_02]: It will inform the rest of your world view.
• 1:22:46
[SPEAKER_02]: The intellectual, are you the sort of person that wants to be able to critically think through things?
• 1:22:52
[SPEAKER_02]: Do you want to be able to problem solve?
• 1:22:55
[SPEAKER_02]: Do you want other people around you to see you as a source of wisdom?
• 1:22:59
[SPEAKER_02]: It doesn't mean you have to have infinite knowledge on every topic, but when someone is dealing with a problem, did they see you as the sort of person that gives them
• 1:23:07
[SPEAKER_02]: I talk about the emotional.
• 1:23:09
[SPEAKER_02]: The bottom line is that emotions should inform our actions, but they shouldn't dictate them.
• 1:23:15
[SPEAKER_02]: And I talk about the importance for men to be able to show tenderness to their wife to their kids.
• 1:23:20
[SPEAKER_02]: I share some stories about that when I walk my daughter down the aisle.
• 1:23:25
[SPEAKER_02]: I talk about the physical.
• 1:23:26
[SPEAKER_02]: I'm like, look, men, you need to be strong.
• 1:23:29
  [SPEAKER_02]: Many to protect.
• 1:23:30
  [SPEAKER_02]: We need to provide.
• 1:23:31
[SPEAKER_02]: I don't care what feminism tells you about this.
• 1:23:34
[SPEAKER_02]: God says scripture says you need to protect and provide and one of the ways that you do that is you physically develop yourself so you're healthy.
• 1:23:42
[SPEAKER_02]: I tell young men you need a violent hobby.
• 1:23:44
[SPEAKER_02]: It can be shooting, it can be MMA, it can be boxing, I don't really care, but you need a violent hobby, and I know we live in this new world where all of a sudden you're not supposed to be ready to win a fight if you have to, but the bottom line is, is that can all, that can all be destroyed in a second, and you don't want to be the sort of husband, you don't want to be the sort of father that has to call another man to show up and bail out your wife or your children when you should have been the one that can do it.
• 1:24:12
[SPEAKER_02]: And then finally, I talk about the professional, and I talk about the professional from this standpoint of developing marketable skill sets and capabilities.
• 1:24:21
[SPEAKER_02]: It's not about being the richest guy or anything like that.
• 1:24:24
[SPEAKER_02]: It's about are you developing marketable skill sets and capabilities that you can use to benefit you, your family, your church, your community, and then all five of these categories are never ending.
• 1:24:34
[SPEAKER_02]: It's not like you will arrive there and you're like, okay, I've mastered it all.
• 1:24:38
[SPEAKER_02]: thing you never master at all.
• 1:24:39
[SPEAKER_02]: You continue to work through these things all through life.
• 1:24:41
[SPEAKER_02]: You pick little victories that turn into big ones.
• 1:24:44
[SPEAKER_02]: When Jordan Peterson says, make your bed, that's not a frivolous thing.
• 1:24:48
[SPEAKER_02]: It's about taking ownership and responsibility over something in your life that you can control and then creating consistency so that you can have discipline.
• 1:24:57
[SPEAKER_02]: Because it's great to be motivated, but there's going to be times when you're not motivated.
• 1:25:01
[SPEAKER_02]: And that's where discipline takes over.
• 1:25:03
[SPEAKER_02]: And so I focus a lot on how to develop those skill sets and capabilities along those various categories and how to turn those into hopefully creating yourself in the sort of man that honors God that takes care of your wife that is respected by your wife and children and is respected by your community because I'm a big believer that we can talk about who holds political office all day long.
• 1:25:26
[SPEAKER_02]: uh... but in my opinion uh... godly men and women becoming godly husbands and wise ratings and you know becoming godly mothers and fathers and raising kids up uh... to understand both the rights but also their responsibilities you show me a nation full of those people i'll show you a country whose politics you probably don't have to worry too much about uh... but that's where it starts and that's where i try to get the focus
• 1:25:49
[SPEAKER_01]: Man, I wish you woulda ran again, by the way.
• 1:25:52
[SPEAKER_01]: I just, you know, I'll go back to the top of the show here.
• 1:25:56
[SPEAKER_01]: If we had, if everybody was in there like you, and like the way we think, you could get shit done pretty fucking quickly.
• 1:26:04
[SPEAKER_01]: Instead, to go back to your point about the book,
• 1:26:08
[SPEAKER_01]: There's not many people that have hobbies like that, including the right.
• 1:26:11
[SPEAKER_01]: You'll get Lindsey Graham and all these other fuckers, where it's like, great, Lindsey Graham, what's his hobby?
• 1:26:15
[SPEAKER_01]: A Max and Easter, you know, he's concerned about what's at TJ Max and the best deal he can get versus everything else.
• 1:26:24
[SPEAKER_01]: Now, on the happy side of this, I am glad you're out because you're able to write books like this.
• 1:26:29
[SPEAKER_01]: You're able to go on podcasts and speak freely and open up a world and possibly create new men like this.
• 1:26:36
  [SPEAKER_01]: I'm looking at your
• 1:26:37
[SPEAKER_01]: ratings now and forgive me as a as another bestselling author here.
• 1:26:41
[SPEAKER_01]: It looks like you're gonna hit the bestseller list this week I mean you're you like you're ratings in the world know that shit.
• 1:26:47
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I just say this is all new to me But yeah, my publish was like hey dog you're on it man.
• 1:26:53
[SPEAKER_01]: You're on it right now You're you're number 33 in the world.
• 1:26:58
  [UNKNOWN]: Yeah
• 1:26:59
[SPEAKER_01]: So, you got a good shot at it, but I also think the reason why you have a good shot at it is because you're talking about something that's a lot of people are interested in, but they might not talk about in their public neighborhoods or anything else.
• 1:27:14
[SPEAKER_01]: Because of politics, because there is such a division and God forbid, you talk about being a fucking man, everybody is going to call you a white nationalist or a conservative.
• 1:27:22
[SPEAKER_03]: Well, politics is downstream from culture and culture is downstream from character and I think people that have become so hyper-focused on politics, a very large portion of them have recognized that whether they can put it towards or not, right, if only they were this kind of guy in office.
• 1:27:40
  [SPEAKER_03]: Okay, that's a start.
• 1:27:42
  [SPEAKER_03]: That's a good place to start.
• 1:27:43
[SPEAKER_03]: I would back it up a little bit and say
• 1:27:50
[SPEAKER_03]: discipline if you learn anything for many of these dudes like us who fucking constantly talk about being men learn that discipline is both a choice in a skill and that the entire world rotates around that fact.
• 1:28:10
  [SPEAKER_03]: that men are disciplined.
• 1:28:12
  [SPEAKER_03]: Discipline is a choice.
• 1:28:14
  [SPEAKER_03]: I'm going home.
• 1:28:15
  [SPEAKER_03]: I'm tired.
• 1:28:15
[SPEAKER_03]: I don't want to do this thing.
• 1:28:16
[SPEAKER_03]: I choose to do it anyways.
• 1:28:18
[SPEAKER_03]: And it is a skill because every time I do that, it gets a little bit easier to do it and becomes part of who I am.
• 1:28:23
[SPEAKER_03]: And then the way that it umbrella's out and to the rest of the community is that,
• 1:28:28
[SPEAKER_03]: men are competitive by nature in a way that is always present in some way or another.
• 1:28:35
[SPEAKER_03]: And if there will be two reactions to your performance as my friend Andy for Celalex to say, I actually have a show out today called AirTay about this principle, personal excellence is the ultimate rebellion period.
• 1:28:48
[SPEAKER_03]: Men will see that and they will either hate you for your success or they will want to be like you for your success And you need both of those people you need to guy that hate you because he will either Disappear like a foot the loser he is or he will It will challenge him to become better in some other field because because of his jealousy Which is a fucking healthy emotion to have in my opinion or you'll have the guy who is Enamored by the fact that a guy that seems like him was able to create all the success I can do it to right you want the guy that's inspired and you want the guy that's motivated by
• 1:29:18
  [SPEAKER_03]: envy.
• 1:29:20
[SPEAKER_03]: That's what, that is the offshoot of competent masculinity inside of a society, and without it, we crumble.
• 1:29:27
[SPEAKER_03]: But with it, and it doesn't take very long, and it doesn't take everybody, actually.
• 1:29:31
[SPEAKER_03]: Some plurality of men who just are competent and masculine can stay off a lot of this shit.
• 1:29:38
[SPEAKER_03]: And it happens and it functionally speaking in a number of different ways.
• 1:29:42
  [SPEAKER_03]: One other men will
• 1:29:48
[SPEAKER_03]: I don't need to be crassier, but one of the most important resources on Earth, the fee bills ability to reproduce gets involved in that free market capitalism, if you want to call it that, and they stop talking to dudes that don't have shoulders.
• 1:30:06
  [SPEAKER_03]: right.
• 1:30:07
[SPEAKER_03]: It happens pretty rapidly actually.
• 1:30:09
[SPEAKER_03]: Um, you see it right now.
• 1:30:11
[SPEAKER_03]: You can see these like one off too off anecdotes of these women who live in liberal cities and they're like, uh, why can I find a man because you don't have any there.
• 1:30:20
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
• 1:30:20
[SPEAKER_03]: That's why you're looking at the wrong place honey and think about what that does to politics.
• 1:30:25
[SPEAKER_03]: Think about there's this trope that white liberal women are ruling American politics.
• 1:30:29
  [SPEAKER_03]: Nope.
• 1:30:30
[SPEAKER_03]: white pussy ass men are that's who's ruining it because those white liberal women would shut the fuck up if that do what is act like a man.
• 1:30:39
  [SPEAKER_03]: That's hot take.
• 1:30:40
  [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
• 1:30:40
[SPEAKER_02]: I look I've because there's a lot of young man that have been blackpilled.
• 1:30:44
[SPEAKER_02]: And I had somebody ask me like, are you just another one of these guys telling young man to pull themselves up by their bootstraps?
• 1:30:51
  [SPEAKER_02]: I said, here's what I'm saying.
• 1:30:53
[SPEAKER_02]: I acknowledge that for the last 20 years, young man have just been dumped on.
• 1:30:58
[SPEAKER_02]: And they've been told that every instinct that they have, that their masculinity itself is toxic, the futures female.
• 1:31:04
[SPEAKER_02]: And the result of that is a lot of women have bought into that narrative as well.
• 1:31:08
[SPEAKER_02]: And so they're not rewarding the men that actually act like men.
• 1:31:12
[SPEAKER_02]: So if I can acknowledge that, now the question is, okay, what do we do about it?
• 1:31:15
[SPEAKER_02]: I said, well, if you're the sort of young man that is waiting for everything else to correct so that your masculinity can be properly appreciated, I've got bad news that will never happen.
• 1:31:26
  [SPEAKER_02]: Because you're the leader.
• 1:31:27
[SPEAKER_02]: You're the one that actually makes it appreciated again.
• 1:31:30
[SPEAKER_02]: that this whole cycle of, you know, good times create or or a good man create hard man create good times, good times create weekman weekman create bad times bad times create hard man.
• 1:31:42
[SPEAKER_02]: No, what bad times do is they remind everybody why the hard man and the characteristics and the attributes and the discipline was necessary in the first place.
• 1:31:52
[SPEAKER_02]: But you still got to choose to be that guy.
• 1:31:55
[SPEAKER_02]: The thing that you should be encouraged about as a young man is, why do you think they spend so much time, so much time effort money and resources, you moralize you, because you are the linchpin.
• 1:32:08
  [SPEAKER_02]: You are the linchpin.
• 1:32:10
[SPEAKER_02]: You can turn this around in one generation.
• 1:32:12
[SPEAKER_02]: You want to know how I know?
• 1:32:13
[SPEAKER_02]: Because the left doesn't have enough kids.
• 1:32:17
  [SPEAKER_02]: They just don't.
• 1:32:17
[SPEAKER_02]: It's something like point, fight, you need 2.1, live burst per woman to have replacement rate.
• 1:32:25
[SPEAKER_02]: Liberal women are at 0.5.
• 1:32:28
[SPEAKER_02]: And you can understand if the only one they're going to sleep with is soy boys.
• 1:32:32
[SPEAKER_02]: Right and then they're going to abort the ones that they actually get.
• 1:32:36
[SPEAKER_02]: Conservative women have a birth rate that's almost over three times that.
• 1:32:41
[SPEAKER_02]: So you can win this thing in one generation, but you have to choose to be the sort of man that is worthy of that victory.
• 1:32:48
[SPEAKER_02]: And I'm not here to tell you it's easy.
• 1:32:49
[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not here to tell you that the conditions don't suck.
• 1:32:52
[SPEAKER_02]: The good news is, is you can do something about it.
• 1:32:55
[SPEAKER_02]: The bad news is, is you're gonna have to choose to.
• 1:32:58
[SPEAKER_02]: And you're gonna have to choose to at a time where it's not immediately gonna be rewarded.
• 1:33:03
[SPEAKER_02]: But it will be rewarded in the long term.
• 1:33:05
[SPEAKER_02]: I think the leading trend right now is that if you ask young men,
• 1:33:09
[SPEAKER_02]: I think it was young men under the age of 25.
• 1:33:14
[SPEAKER_02]: Young men that voted for Trump, they listen out 13 life priorities, and they ask them, what is your number one priority?
• 1:33:20
[SPEAKER_02]: And young men that voted for Trump said have a family.
• 1:33:23
[SPEAKER_02]: It was number six for young women that voted for Trump.
• 1:33:26
[SPEAKER_02]: It was number seven for men that voted for Harris, and it was number 12 out of 13 for women that voted for Harris.
• 1:33:32
[SPEAKER_02]: What that tells me is that leading indicator that young men are saying, I want to prioritize family.
• 1:33:38
[SPEAKER_02]: I want to be the sort of man that meets a girl, falls in love, gets married, has lots
• 1:33:43
[SPEAKER_02]: and raises them up to be the sort of man that does that in the future.
• 1:33:47
[SPEAKER_02]: That's going to cause the women in that second category.
• 1:33:49
[SPEAKER_02]: Their priorities are actually going to start to match his.
• 1:33:52
[SPEAKER_02]: It's just the way it is, it's the way the world works.
• 1:33:55
[SPEAKER_02]: I would argue it's the way God made us.
• 1:33:56
[SPEAKER_03]: The reality is that women can smell the stink of weakness from a mile away.
• 1:34:05
[SPEAKER_03]: They are biologically programmed to detect that shit because they don't have the physical capabilities to defend themselves against danger, right?
• 1:34:14
[SPEAKER_03]: Everything about their biology is aligned to find strength and one way or another.
• 1:34:20
[SPEAKER_02]: but it's interesting with both culture and culture and the pharmaceutical industry work to fight that.
• 1:34:27
  [SPEAKER_03]: Yes.
• 1:34:28
  [SPEAKER_02]: That's really the pill.
• 1:34:30
[SPEAKER_02]: So the culture is obviously trying to fight against that.
• 1:34:32
[SPEAKER_02]: It's like you'd be a girl boss, you don't need no man.
• 1:34:34
[SPEAKER_02]: But then the other side of that is that they're getting women on birth control younger and younger ages and it's essentially trying to force their body to operate against what it's designed to do.
• 1:34:45
[SPEAKER_02]: and so the end result is is that and now there's there's been multiple studies to show this now that the sort of man that a woman is attracted when she's on the pill versus the sort of man that she's attracted to when she's off it or when she's ovulating is very different that's right right when it's when it's time to reproduce all of a sudden I want the guy with shoulders right I want the guy that looks like they can handle themselves in a fight.
• 1:35:08
[SPEAKER_02]: But the bottom line is you can only trick reality for so long whether it be culturally academically or medically.
• 1:35:15
[SPEAKER_02]: I was having this conversation with this young woman and I always make it a point to encourage young people when they when they're about to get married or they just got married.
• 1:35:24
[SPEAKER_02]: I talk about how much I love my wife and I love being married and it's very genuine.
• 1:35:28
[SPEAKER_02]: But this one guy we're in DC, and she goes, oh, you know, I'm engaged.
• 1:35:32
  [SPEAKER_02]: I said, that's awesome.
• 1:35:33
[SPEAKER_02]: I said, love being married don't let anybody tell you marriage sucks.
• 1:35:36
[SPEAKER_02]: It's not the end of the adventure, it's the beginning of it.
• 1:35:38
[SPEAKER_02]: I said, I love being married, I love having kids.
• 1:35:41
[SPEAKER_02]: I love raising my son to like, you know, protect.
• 1:35:43
[SPEAKER_02]: And she stops me and she goes, we don't adhere to those gender roles.
• 1:35:48
[SPEAKER_02]: I said, oh, okay, fair enough.
• 1:35:50
[SPEAKER_02]: So can I ask you a question?
• 1:35:51
[SPEAKER_02]: Cause like, this is interesting to me.
• 1:35:53
  [SPEAKER_02]: Can I ask you a question?
• 1:35:54
  [SPEAKER_02]: She goes, yeah, sure.
• 1:35:55
[SPEAKER_02]: So let's say you and your fiance are up here in DC and you've just had a wonderful dinner and you leave the dinner and you're walking back to the parking lot and as you're walking back to the parking lot, a guy with a knife jumps out of the alley and confronts you.
• 1:36:08
[SPEAKER_02]: Now in one of these scenarios, your fiance jumps in between you and the guy wielding the knife and in the other scenario he jumps behind you.
• 1:36:17
[SPEAKER_02]: Which one of you more attracted to?
• 1:36:20
[SPEAKER_02]: And she kind of smiles and she goes, that's not fair.
• 1:36:23
[SPEAKER_02]: I said, no, it is.
• 1:36:25
[SPEAKER_02]: And what you need to understand is there's nothing wrong with you being attracted to the version of your fiance that would actually stand up and do the right thing in that situation.
• 1:36:34
[SPEAKER_02]: There's nothing wrong with that.
• 1:36:36
[SPEAKER_02]: Everything about common sense, reality and biology says that you should prioritize that as a necessary trait in the sort of man you might have kids with one day.
• 1:36:50
  [SPEAKER_02]: Why is that?
• 1:36:53
[SPEAKER_03]: It's probably not because of 100 years of communist programming.
• 1:36:57
  [SPEAKER_03]: I would imagine, probably.
• 1:37:01
[SPEAKER_01]: To be honest with you, I've only really noticed the change in the last 20 years.
• 1:37:05
[SPEAKER_01]: Before that, no, I said it's in the show all the time.
• 1:37:10
[SPEAKER_01]: I could have cared less about politics and everything else.
• 1:37:14
[SPEAKER_01]: I never heard this at a women.
• 1:37:16
[SPEAKER_01]: I never saw these fucking
• 1:37:18
[SPEAKER_01]: protests like this before all kinds of shit.
• 1:37:21
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, even go back to the 60s, what are they doing?
• 1:37:23
[SPEAKER_01]: Taking off their bras and burning their bras?
• 1:37:25
[SPEAKER_01]: Awesome man, can we have more of that?
• 1:37:27
[SPEAKER_01]: Like that's what I want to see worldwide.
• 1:37:29
[SPEAKER_03]: That's never the ones you want.
• 1:37:30
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, there's a way to get that out of the ones.
• 1:37:33
[SPEAKER_01]: You know, it's still a little luxe's, but whatever, right?
• 1:37:36
[SPEAKER_01]: And I don't know why it's been either Such a massive change in the last 20 years, maybe it's due to social media or maybe it's just been over time with all the process bullshit and everything else getting in everybody system
• 1:37:49
[SPEAKER_01]: and maybe it has been longer than 20 years.
• 1:37:52
[SPEAKER_01]: I don't have that answer, but we're starting to see it more and more.
• 1:37:55
[SPEAKER_02]: If you look at like the first way feminism, second way feminism, the first thing that you start to realize very quickly is this was not just about equal rights before the law.
• 1:38:05
[SPEAKER_02]: If you look at a lot, especially the second ways feminists that were very, very open about it in the 60s and 70s, Simone did both law once said that she didn't believe that women should be able to choose to be mothers and caretakers because if we allowed women that option, too many would choose it and would interrupt their revolutionary objectives.
• 1:38:26
[SPEAKER_02]: So, a lot of the most influential women that made of the feminist movement that made it into the college textbooks was all around that time in the 60s and the 70s.
• 1:38:36
[SPEAKER_02]: So now you have this group of feminists that are not just, you know, they're not just arguing, hey, maybe women should be able to vote.
• 1:38:43
[SPEAKER_02]: They're actually arguing against traditional marriage.
• 1:38:45
[SPEAKER_02]: It's very much rooted in Marxism, much of it is rooted in hating men or the patriarchy or whatever.
• 1:38:52
[SPEAKER_02]: Right, and so you have that one generation that's now raising the next generation, not just of college students, because a lot of this is we get surprised when it exits the university.
• 1:39:02
[SPEAKER_02]: We expect some crazy ideas at university campus, but then when you go and you look at the education departments on all these university campuses.
• 1:39:11
[SPEAKER_02]: So if you have a university where let's say 80 to 90% of the faculty are hardcore left-wing, donating to Democrats, Woke, whatever.
• 1:39:20
[SPEAKER_02]: you go to the education department that number shoots up to about ninety eight to ninety nine percent well if you want a teaching degree in the united states you're going to go to university you're probably going to go to an education department and now you're going to learn about critical pedagogy you're going to learn about you know feminist studies at the same time that you're learning how to educate five-year-olds
• 1:39:41
[SPEAKER_02]: And so now you have this thing where it starts in the university and the activist circles, it gets in and out becomes entrenched within the university.
• 1:39:49
[SPEAKER_02]: It moves over out of the studies and humanities into the education departments and the rest of the university.
• 1:39:54
[SPEAKER_02]: Now the people that are filling your HR departments, the people that are filling your classrooms,
• 1:39:59
[SPEAKER_02]: not just at the university level, but now in your public school system, they've all gone through this training, they've all gone through this way to view the world, to interpret reality.
• 1:40:09
[SPEAKER_02]: And so it shouldn't come as a surprise that what started in the sixties and seventies took this long the manifest because that's generally how long these sorts of things take to become mainstream.
• 1:40:20
[SPEAKER_02]: And that's what's now we're living at the in state, the result of it.
• 1:40:24
[SPEAKER_02]: And the question is, is there's going to be a backlash because this whole like woke feminist trope, you cannot build maintain or defend civilization without men.
• 1:40:35
[SPEAKER_02]: right you you're never going to the vanguard of the revolution is not going to be a bunch of people that characterize themselves based off of their mental illness right that's not a thing if you are losing your crap because the barista misgendered you you're probably not storming the best deal right
• 1:40:51
[SPEAKER_02]: So, young men have already decided this is garbage, they're going to revolt.
• 1:40:55
[SPEAKER_02]: Now the question is, is where do they revolt?
• 1:40:58
[SPEAKER_02]: Do they become the protectors of civilization, or do they become the barbarians which invade it?
• 1:41:03
[SPEAKER_02]: But those are the only two options.
• 1:41:06
[SPEAKER_02]: I said this in Cal Berkeley, I said, I got bad news for you guys, you lose.
• 1:41:10
[SPEAKER_02]: you lose because you've alienated the one group of people you absolutely need to fight wars, fight fires, defense civilization, build it, you alienated them.
• 1:41:18
[SPEAKER_02]: So you lose, now it's a question of what comes next.
• 1:41:23
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, hopefully, what comes next is not a triple skinny vanilla latte with no foam, okay?
• 1:41:30
[SPEAKER_01]: We appreciate that Starbucks reference there.
• 1:41:33
[SPEAKER_01]: Now as the point in the show, we get to the drinking bro of the week, where somebody who has inspired you or helps you become the person you are today, who inspired you to write this book, the man book that's out now on Amazon.
• 1:41:46
[SPEAKER_02]: There was a lot of people, there was a lot of people.
• 1:41:49
[SPEAKER_02]: If I had did, there's three, though, like my father was very inspirational in it.
• 1:41:54
[SPEAKER_02]: You know, my mother as well, growing up.
• 1:41:57
[SPEAKER_02]: But there was three men when I was in special operations that really helped me recapture my faith.
• 1:42:03
[SPEAKER_02]: Um, my, my team leader Ryan Nene neighbor, a neighbor of mine, Anthony Brown, and then there was another gentleman I served with in the 18 Fox course, which is the special forces and intelligence sergeants course.
• 1:42:14
[SPEAKER_02]: And the reason why I'm so grateful to them is because I grew up a Christian, but I found it, I found it weak.
• 1:42:22
[SPEAKER_02]: I found it overly emotional.
• 1:42:24
[SPEAKER_02]: And even though I never walked away from my faith, it wasn't very active.
• 1:42:27
[SPEAKER_02]: And then all of a sudden, I met guys that I could trust in a firefight.
• 1:42:31
[SPEAKER_02]: I met guys that I knew would have my back no matter what, and I saw how their faith made them better at everything they did from being a soldier, to being a husband, to being a father, to being intellectually sound, to having their emotions under control, to being true professionals.
• 1:42:46
[SPEAKER_02]: And even though I wish it hadn't taken that to make me realize again the importance of my faith and how it would impact every other aspect of my life, it did.
• 1:42:56
[SPEAKER_02]: And so I'm grateful that when they had an opportunity to stand up and be a really good
• 1:43:00
[SPEAKER_02]: But they did it and it had a huge influence on me and now I hope I can be a fraction of the example that they were for me to other other young men.
• 1:43:11
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, hey, we're grateful for you for coming on the show today.
• 1:43:13
[SPEAKER_01]: Check out the book, the man book, on its way to becoming a New York Times bestseller.
• 1:43:18
[SPEAKER_01]: You got what six days left to help them push it over.
• 1:43:22
[SPEAKER_01]: That's kind of the rules there.
• 1:43:24
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm sure your publicists are whoever informed you on that.
• 1:43:27
[SPEAKER_01]: You got the next six days to push it.
• 1:43:29
[SPEAKER_01]: push it over the top, you're a brilliant dude, man, and again, sad that you're no longer there.
• 1:43:37
[SPEAKER_01]: And think about it, this has something, just think about it again one day, because we need more dudes like you in there.
• 1:43:43
[SPEAKER_01]: In the meantime, though, this was an excellent conversation, and we greatly appreciate it.
