- 1:48Speaker 3: All right, guys, welcome back EYL. We're still in Cali
- 1:52Speaker 3: and this is a home and away addition. This is
- 1:55Speaker 3: this is something that I'm actually looking forward to. And
- 1:58Speaker 3: if anybody knows me, they follow me and they know
- 2:00Speaker 3: that I always post my personal workout videos. I've been
- 2:03Speaker 3: doing this for a long time. It's working out has
- 2:05Speaker 3: been something that has been central to my life since
- 2:08Speaker 3: I can remember, you know, playing sports my whole entire life.
- 2:12Speaker 3: I always was an athlete. I always worked out. That
- 2:15Speaker 3: was something that was real big for me, and I
- 2:17Speaker 3: still carried that into the world of business. So, you know,
- 2:20Speaker 3: being on Instagram, we follow people that we look to
- 2:23Speaker 3: get motivation from. And I remember years back, I'm not sure.
- 2:27Speaker 3: How I got introduced to you. I might have been
- 2:28Speaker 3: Jim Jones, but Mike Rashet I found him on Instagram
- 2:33Speaker 3: and I've been following him for years and if you're
- 2:36Speaker 3: in the fitness space, you probably heard of him. One
- 2:39Speaker 3: of the pioneers in this game as far as fitness training.
- 2:44Speaker 3: But the thing, the reason why we have in this
- 2:45Speaker 3: conversation is that he's not just you know, in the
- 2:48Speaker 3: fitness game, he's in the business game. And either way,
- 2:52Speaker 3: you know, we've tourt this facility yesterday, twenty thousand square feet.
- 2:57Speaker 3: So yeah, so he has and Bro, which is the
- 3:01Speaker 3: supplement company. Supplements a huge, big, real business too, because
- 3:04Speaker 3: even playing basketball, like a lot of guys is on
- 3:07Speaker 3: creatine And I never did the Crea team, but I
- 3:10Speaker 3: did the Wave Protein, so I know, like, no, don't.
- 3:13Speaker 5: Drink that way.
- 3:15Speaker 3: We'll get that, okay, okay, yeah, the way but those
- 3:18Speaker 3: things is like fifty dollars for those chugs, so you
- 3:21Speaker 3: know it's not it's not cheap. And he's a gym owner.
- 3:25Speaker 3: Iron addicts, I believe that's a long beach, right, yes, sir. Yeah.
- 3:29Speaker 3: Snack House Foods, which is the healthy snack line.
- 3:33Speaker 1: Yeah, it's a guilt free snacks.
- 3:35Speaker 5: I like that.
- 3:36Speaker 1: I like that, you like that exactly.
- 3:38Speaker 3: And Trifected Nutrition, which is the meal prep meal preps
- 3:42Speaker 3: is big too. That's a whole No, I didn't try it,
- 3:45Speaker 3: but I wanted. I was thinking about trying to.
- 3:47Speaker 6: I think have sent meals to my house once.
- 3:50Speaker 3: Oh yeah, the vegan meals, right, Yeah, I remember that.
- 3:53Speaker 3: So yeah, he's he's killing the game man multimillion dollar operation,
- 3:57Speaker 3: and he has a very interesting backstory. So this is
- 4:00Speaker 3: going to be an interesting conversation of fun conversation. So
- 4:03Speaker 3: thank you, brother, I appreciate it.
- 4:05Speaker 1: Thanks for having me. Seriously, I got a lot of
- 4:07Speaker 1: respect for y'all. I admire you guys. I'm a fan
- 4:11Speaker 1: of your work, you know, because now we live in
- 4:14Speaker 1: a time to where we're voyeuring into people's lives, so
- 4:19Speaker 1: we're making our lives. I guess it's a form of
- 4:21Speaker 1: entertainment what we do for a living. And I love
- 4:25Speaker 1: what y'all do. I'm learning from y'all, right, and I
- 4:29Speaker 1: love seeing you know, familiar faces out getting it getting
- 4:32Speaker 1: to it as well. So I'm honored to be here.
- 4:35Speaker 3: Seriously, I appreciate that, man, So let's jump right into it.
- 4:38Speaker 3: Let's talk about your journey. I want to talk about
- 4:42Speaker 3: the business before even business, from growing up in Brooklyn
- 4:46Speaker 3: and being an after being a boxer, transitioning to where
- 4:51Speaker 3: you are now at the top of the business world.
- 4:53Speaker 3: It wasn't an easy route. How did you transition from
- 4:58Speaker 3: just working out being an app fleet to being a
- 5:01Speaker 3: business mogul?
- 5:03Speaker 1: Okay, well, that transition happened around I think twenty twelve
- 5:09Speaker 1: eleven twelve, and this is when social media became more prolific,
- 5:14Speaker 1: when Instagram came out right, So I had a Facebook
- 5:20Speaker 1: like everybody I had. I started Instagram and I started
- 5:24Speaker 1: a YouTube page as well. And at the time, I
- 5:28Speaker 1: was a personal trainer. I worked in a gym training people,
- 5:31Speaker 1: and I thought YouTube is an awesome way to show
- 5:36Speaker 1: progress versus only showing up before and after picture, which
- 5:40Speaker 1: I want to do as well. But I can show
- 5:43Speaker 1: people's performance. When Jennifer can only do one pull up,
- 5:47Speaker 1: now she could do ten. That's inspiring in itself, right,
- 5:51Speaker 1: and it shows other girls that you can do ten
- 5:53Speaker 1: pull ups, you know what I mean? Because it's a
- 5:55Speaker 1: lot of things that people think they can't do so
- 5:58Speaker 1: unless they see somebody else like them doing it, right,
- 6:02Speaker 1: so that was just helping me get more clients. And
- 6:04Speaker 1: I had a plan. I was working at a corporate
- 6:07Speaker 1: gym goals gym for like about a year, but I
- 6:12Speaker 1: wrote down I wrote down some goals before that. And
- 6:16Speaker 1: keep in mind before that, I went through a huge
- 6:18Speaker 1: life transition right around that time, so me writing down
- 6:22Speaker 1: my goals was new. That was something new to me.
- 6:25Speaker 1: I must have heard somebody say you should do that
- 6:27Speaker 1: and some kind of inspirational CD or something like that.
- 6:31Speaker 1: So decided to just write it down. Whatever wrote it down,
- 6:34Speaker 1: put it up, never looked at it. So about a
- 6:37Speaker 1: year later, I was like, oh shit, I forgot about this,
- 6:40Speaker 1: and I looked at it, and I was like, damn,
- 6:41Speaker 1: everything that I wrote down happened, you know what I mean.
- 6:44Speaker 1: So trainers a lot of them, and I treated my
- 6:49Speaker 1: people good, like I am an extremely empathetic person and
- 6:54Speaker 1: I care about my work what I do, and I
- 6:56Speaker 1: have an ego. So if you're training with me, you're
- 6:59Speaker 1: going to look the part like I'm going to really
- 7:01Speaker 1: do a good job with you. And I respect people's money.
- 7:05Speaker 1: If you're paying me fifty dollars or one hundred dollars
- 7:07Speaker 1: for an hour, you're going to get the best service. Ever,
- 7:09Speaker 1: you didn't get a thousand dollars service, right, So that's
- 7:14Speaker 1: how it was with my clients. I would have Christmas
- 7:17Speaker 1: parties for them, you know. And this was back in
- 7:20Speaker 1: the day, and I couldn't even afford to do that
- 7:21Speaker 1: like that, you know what I mean, especially working for
- 7:23Speaker 1: the gym because they took most of your money. So
- 7:27Speaker 1: fast forward, it got to the point to where, all right,
- 7:30Speaker 1: it's time for me to move on. I found the gym,
- 7:33Speaker 1: an independent gym that I wanted to take my clients to,
- 7:36Speaker 1: and I set everybody down and said, look, I'm leaving here.
- 7:40Speaker 1: I would love for you to come with me. And
- 7:42Speaker 1: I was a little bit nervous because people typically like
- 7:44Speaker 1: to stay in their immediate area. But this gym was
- 7:47Speaker 1: about seven eight miles away. It doesn't sound like a
- 7:50Speaker 1: long drive, but it's still right correct, So you know,
- 7:55Speaker 1: to my surprise, like ninety percent of them said I'm
- 7:57Speaker 1: coming with you. So that was great. So left the
- 8:00Speaker 1: gym when independent, and these are the numbers back then,
- 8:05Speaker 1: Like I went through like major ship, you know what
- 8:09Speaker 1: I'm saying, So like homelessness type vibes, you know what
- 8:12Speaker 1: I'm saying, And.
- 8:13Speaker 6: It was all like while you're working at the gym
- 8:15Speaker 6: before before that.
- 8:17Speaker 1: But when I started, I was homeless and nobody knew it.
- 8:20Speaker 1: Car Nah, I didn't have a car. I was sleeping
- 8:23Speaker 1: at a friend's apartment who they were growing weed out
- 8:27Speaker 1: of the apartment. And this was before the ship was legal.
- 8:30Speaker 1: This is when it was like a lot of gray.
- 8:32Speaker 1: But what he was doing was illegal. But he was like, yo,
- 8:35Speaker 1: you could stay here, like you know, I don't know
- 8:37Speaker 1: if to ten or eleven, but you got to be
- 8:40Speaker 1: out for the summerse I like, say, less, I have
- 8:42Speaker 1: a place to lay my head. So it was very
- 8:44Speaker 1: dangerous because uncooked weed has a very distinct smell, a
- 8:49Speaker 1: very obvious smell, you know what I mean. Yeah, So
- 8:55Speaker 1: so I stayed there, you know, showered there or the
- 9:00Speaker 1: gym wherever kept the haircut. Nobody knew I was my situation.
- 9:04Speaker 1: I always presented myself well, spoke well, and did what
- 9:06Speaker 1: I had to do. When I had nothing to do,
- 9:09Speaker 1: like in the middle of the day, I ways just
- 9:10Speaker 1: go to the movies to kill time, go back to
- 9:13Speaker 1: the gym. I'm at the gym from when it opened
- 9:15Speaker 1: to when it closed, literally, so that helped develop a
- 9:18Speaker 1: real solid foundation, work ethic and work capacity. So nobody
- 9:25Speaker 1: knew that, right, So saved up enough to move in
- 9:29Speaker 1: with somebody looking for a roommate. And this is very
- 9:31Speaker 1: humbling to me because before that I was rich, like
- 9:34Speaker 1: I have money money, you know what I mean. And
- 9:36Speaker 1: people don't understand some people are doing bad. They're always
- 9:39Speaker 1: doing bad. It is what it is. It's normal, right,
- 9:43Speaker 1: even in jail it's people in there. This is fucking
- 9:45Speaker 1: better than where I was at, you know what I mean.
- 9:47Speaker 1: But when you have shit and then it's gone and
- 9:50Speaker 1: you don't have anything, hit you deep in here, you
- 9:53Speaker 1: know what I'm saying. So I went through a lot
- 9:55Speaker 1: of growth during this period, a lot of growth, a
- 9:59Speaker 1: lot of mature because there was times that I wanted
- 10:03Speaker 1: to like people for my old life were like celebrating
- 10:07Speaker 1: that I wasn't where I was at, you know, And
- 10:10Speaker 1: I find that in life. I'm sure you guys probably
- 10:14Speaker 1: have seen this as well. Strong people people will be around,
- 10:18Speaker 1: they will applaud you, but if you get knocked down,
- 10:21Speaker 1: they're so happy and they think it's that's it. You're done.
- 10:24Speaker 1: He's like us, he's mortal, you know what I'm saying.
- 10:27Speaker 1: So that in itself. I had to deal with that
- 10:31Speaker 1: in a in a productive way. I couldn't do what
- 10:33Speaker 1: I wanted to do, like silly stuff.
- 10:35Speaker 6: The temptation setting at any point, right like I'm gonna
- 10:38Speaker 6: relapse in my old life.
- 10:41Speaker 1: Right there. It was right there that devil was on
- 10:43Speaker 1: my shoulder, you know. But the angel on the other
- 10:46Speaker 1: shoulder was stronger, was more powerful. And that angel came
- 10:49Speaker 1: in the form of my children, you know, so specifically
- 10:52Speaker 1: my son, My my my son's mother. Love her to death.
- 10:58Speaker 1: She she's a smart woman, right However, she gave my
- 11:02Speaker 1: son to me during this time, which is not on paper.
- 11:05Speaker 1: That makes no sense, you know what I mean. But
- 11:08Speaker 1: I don't know if she realized that she saved my
- 11:11Speaker 1: life by doing that, because had he not been with me,
- 11:15Speaker 1: you know, I would have been doing very destructive things,
- 11:18Speaker 1: you know, when when you are a rock bottom, when
- 11:22Speaker 1: you have no money, when you have no social status,
- 11:26Speaker 1: when you have you know, and I was isolated, I mean,
- 11:29Speaker 1: truth be told, I was a fugitive at the time,
- 11:31Speaker 1: so I was not in contact with my friends, of
- 11:34Speaker 1: my family.
- 11:34Speaker 3: Go.
- 11:34Speaker 1: I didn't want to en danger anyone anyone like the world.
- 11:39Speaker 1: You see the world different, you know you're in pain
- 11:42Speaker 1: and you just want to hurt people's that's where I
- 11:44Speaker 1: was at. Hurt people. Hurt people. Yeah, that's a real thing.
- 11:47Speaker 1: I wanted to hurt people. I wanted to do damage.
- 11:49Speaker 1: What are you laughing for? What do you what are
- 11:50Speaker 1: you happy about? You know what I mean? I want
- 11:53Speaker 1: to take your happiness. I felt that.
- 11:57Speaker 5: I just felt that.
- 11:59Speaker 1: And the people and some of the people from my
- 12:01Speaker 1: past that were celebrating what looked like my demise, I
- 12:05Speaker 1: was like, how dare you like? First of all, a
- 12:08Speaker 1: lot of these people I took care of, you know
- 12:10Speaker 1: what I mean, And a lot of these people will
- 12:12Speaker 1: bump you were bummed when I'm not around, you know
- 12:14Speaker 1: what I'm saying. So I'm like, y'all, y'all, don't think
- 12:18Speaker 1: that I'm you know what I mean. So but I
- 12:20Speaker 1: had to check. I checked myself, you know, and I
- 12:23Speaker 1: and I refined myself. And I've learned that the being
- 12:29Speaker 1: strong and being powerful is using restraint, is not doing
- 12:34Speaker 1: things just because you can, right. So I worked on that.
- 12:38Speaker 1: And it was one day, a very pivotal day, walk
- 12:42Speaker 1: on my son to school. He's in pre school at
- 12:43Speaker 1: the time, and I had no car, so I'm walking
- 12:46Speaker 1: under school because I had to, and luckily it wasn't
- 12:49Speaker 1: far and he hold on my hand tight. I walk
- 12:53Speaker 1: him as far as I can till he runs in
- 12:55Speaker 1: and I go to pick him up. I just see
- 12:58Speaker 1: him looking for me. You know what I'm saying. I'm like,
- 13:00Speaker 1: right here, you run up. It was so much love.
- 13:04Speaker 1: It was always love, and I was like, man, this
- 13:10Speaker 1: perfect human right here loves me. And I don't have
- 13:13Speaker 1: anything to offer. I don't have nothing, you know what
- 13:15Speaker 1: I mean. People hate me right now, you know what
- 13:18Speaker 1: I'm saying. The government want to put me away. This
- 13:22Speaker 1: kid loves me, you know what I mean. So that moment.
- 13:26Speaker 1: I remember that day so vividly. It taught me to like,
- 13:30Speaker 1: if he can love you, you can love yourself. Because
- 13:33Speaker 1: I wasn't loving myself at the time, you know. And
- 13:37Speaker 1: I had a good foundation growing up, you know, like
- 13:40Speaker 1: my transgressions were the punishments were a lot worse than
- 13:49Speaker 1: an average person because I knew better. I knew better.
- 13:52Speaker 1: I wasn't raised like that, you know. So anyway, I
- 13:57Speaker 1: just something went off in me that particular day, and
- 14:01Speaker 1: you know, I've been on an upward trajectory since then,
- 14:05Speaker 1: you know, so probtastically.
- 14:08Speaker 3: So as far as getting in, what'd you do first?
- 14:11Speaker 3: Did you start the gym first or the supplements?
- 14:15Speaker 1: As far as supplements, was my first business in fitness, well, no,
- 14:19Speaker 1: my first business in the fitness space was my training business,
- 14:23Speaker 1: personal training.
- 14:25Speaker 3: Now at the time, let's talk about that because I
- 14:27Speaker 3: know a lot of even some of my friends shout
- 14:29Speaker 3: out to my trainer Richie, and I think they're still
- 14:33Speaker 3: trying to figure it out. As far as like how
- 14:34Speaker 3: to grow a personal training business, how did you grow
- 14:38Speaker 3: your and scale your personal training business? And how do
- 14:40Speaker 3: you price that too, because a lot of people are
- 14:42Speaker 3: kind of scared to not charge enough, but I feel
- 14:45Speaker 3: like they might be undercharging their services.
- 14:47Speaker 1: Yeah, so you come up. I would come up with
- 14:50Speaker 1: a menu, a pdf outlining what you do. One on
- 14:55Speaker 1: one training that's a premium semi private training a little
- 15:00Speaker 1: bit less but not a discount number, right, but less
- 15:04Speaker 1: than a one on one group training that would be
- 15:09Speaker 1: a discount rate because you got a bunch of people.
- 15:11Speaker 1: The semi private is no different than the one on
- 15:13Speaker 1: one other than because you're giving really specific attention to
- 15:17Speaker 1: each person. The group training is more like a class,
- 15:19Speaker 1: you know what I mean? So have all of these
- 15:22Speaker 1: with meal prep or without prices for that, I break
- 15:27Speaker 1: everything down, this is what it is for the month daily.
- 15:30Speaker 1: If you're seeing me five days a week, three days,
- 15:33Speaker 1: two weeks whatever. You know what I'm saying. As the
- 15:36Speaker 1: days reduced, the price goes up per But it sounds
- 15:40Speaker 1: like a lot. But if it's on paper, it's there.
- 15:43Speaker 1: So I will have that email to everyone. Now it's
- 15:47Speaker 1: my business, so I can. I have wiggle room with
- 15:50Speaker 1: the numbers, but you have something tangible, They're less likely
- 15:54Speaker 1: to try to haggle you down. And I tell Richie this, like,
- 15:57Speaker 1: because I've you know, just over the years helping out
- 16:00Speaker 1: friends who's struggling financially as trainers. When I look at
- 16:04Speaker 1: their like what they're doing. You gotta you gotta value
- 16:07Speaker 1: yourself enough to charge a premium. It is what it is,
- 16:10Speaker 1: or you're gonna it's gonna be hard. It's gonna be
- 16:13Speaker 1: hard times, you know what I mean.
- 16:14Speaker 6: So if we pick, I just want to piggyback on
- 16:15Speaker 6: what you just asked. So most trainers actually go to
- 16:19Speaker 6: a gym and work in the gym, and then are
- 16:21Speaker 6: they allowed to charge their rate? And if so, how
- 16:24Speaker 6: much does the gym.
- 16:24Speaker 1: Actually take you have to well, you have to be
- 16:27Speaker 1: at doing it for yourself. You have to be at
- 16:30Speaker 1: an independent gym, so a gym that allows you to
- 16:32Speaker 1: come in and pay rent okay, and that varies from
- 16:35Speaker 1: city to city, right, or you work for gym, which
- 16:40Speaker 1: you make less money. However, I'm not opposed to that
- 16:45Speaker 1: when you're just starting out, because how else are you
- 16:47Speaker 1: gonna build clientele and also learning the business of personal training,
- 16:52Speaker 1: because it's not just because you're in shape and you
- 16:54Speaker 1: know how to train, doesn't mean you know how to
- 16:56Speaker 1: sell training. It's just it's a sales job, you know.
- 17:00Speaker 1: And then so acquiring the customers, you know, servicing them,
- 17:04Speaker 1: retaining them. You got to learn all of that and
- 17:07Speaker 1: you I learned that at the gym at Goals Gym,
- 17:10Speaker 1: so so that's something that I don't you know. I'm
- 17:13Speaker 1: thankful for my time working there because I learned a lot.
- 17:16Speaker 1: When I first started doing personal training, I was like,
- 17:20Speaker 1: the gym membership is fifty bucks. We charged seventy for training.
- 17:24Speaker 1: I'm like, I can't ask them for seventy hours for
- 17:27Speaker 1: an hour when they paid fifty dollars for a month.
- 17:29Speaker 1: I didn't understand. But once I figured it out, it
- 17:31Speaker 1: was it was it was a rap. It was easy.
- 17:33Speaker 6: They're taking their profit from the seventy they obviously they get.
- 17:35Speaker 1: Yeah, they get it. They take most of it. They
- 17:37Speaker 1: take seventy percent.
- 17:38Speaker 3: Wow, this is this is this is something I've become
- 17:40Speaker 3: familiar with from my friends. I have a lot of
- 17:42Speaker 3: friends in the industry. And yeah, these gyms take a lot.
- 17:45Speaker 3: So what a lot of trainings do. They'll start at
- 17:47Speaker 3: a gym, and then they'll build up a clientele and
- 17:50Speaker 3: then they'll leave and then they'll tell their clients like,
- 17:52Speaker 3: you know, I'm no longer there anymore, Dad, And sometimes
- 17:55Speaker 3: you can even charge less money because they're taking such
- 17:58Speaker 3: a large percentage.
- 17:59Speaker 1: Wouldn't do that though, they're already paying so why you know.
- 18:03Speaker 3: Yeah, while you're worth it now that's true. And then
- 18:06Speaker 3: but there's another whole business model, like you said with
- 18:08Speaker 3: the private gym situation. So there's gym's like you know,
- 18:11Speaker 3: you can just have like you know, a thousand square
- 18:13Speaker 3: feet or whatever, and then you get like a couple
- 18:15Speaker 3: of trainers in there. So that's that's a business model
- 18:17Speaker 3: for two different angles. The person that owns the gym,
- 18:21Speaker 3: you get like four different trainers to come pay you
- 18:23Speaker 3: a thousand dollars a month and your least might be
- 18:25Speaker 3: a thousand. Now you net three thousand dollars. And then
- 18:28Speaker 3: from the trainer if they're paying one thousand dollars a
- 18:31Speaker 3: month but they're making four thousand, now they're profiting. So
- 18:35Speaker 3: I've learned this because I'm actually in the space. So
- 18:39Speaker 3: it's interesting because I didn't, you know, from the outside
- 18:41Speaker 3: looking in, I never really figured it out. But I'm like, okay,
- 18:44Speaker 3: and then from my how I'm looking at it is
- 18:46Speaker 3: like now, the next evolution is once you have enough,
- 18:49Speaker 3: now you get your own gym, and then you can
- 18:51Speaker 3: bring trainers in.
- 18:52Speaker 1: Right, But see that that business model works only if
- 18:56Speaker 1: you're doing a bunch of gyms, right, that can work.
- 19:00Speaker 1: But just in all honesty, a gym with the overhead
- 19:04Speaker 1: is not an extremely profitable business, right. I do it
- 19:08Speaker 1: because I'm a gym rat. You know, it's not. There's
- 19:11Speaker 1: no dent in my pockets. If I have people there
- 19:14Speaker 1: are not so and it's a place to fill the
- 19:16Speaker 1: content things of that next year. But people love my gym,
- 19:19Speaker 1: so they come. But yeah, I wouldn't personally look at
- 19:24Speaker 1: a gym opening a gym as like, Yo, a business model, right,
- 19:28Speaker 1: it's you know, flagship, it's a huge. It's huge. Over
- 19:32Speaker 1: when I did my gym in Miami, Yo, the bills
- 19:34Speaker 1: were crazy. It was crazy.
- 19:37Speaker 6: Let's go into what kind of overhead to the person
- 19:39Speaker 6: expect when they're opening the gym.
- 19:42Speaker 1: It all depends on It's so many variables. What city
- 19:45Speaker 1: you're in matters, you know what I'm saying, how big
- 19:49Speaker 1: the gym is? The business model? Are you doing it
- 19:52Speaker 1: opening it up for personal trainers to pay rent as well?
- 19:56Speaker 1: Or is it are you gonna charge? Are you want
- 20:00Speaker 1: to sell training and pay trainers. It's so many different
- 20:04Speaker 1: ways to do it. I did both, had a hybrid
- 20:06Speaker 1: model in my gym, and so you know, it's so
- 20:10Speaker 1: many different ways to do it. It's not one way,
- 20:12Speaker 1: you know, varies, it varies. It's a lot of variable
- 20:16Speaker 1: to it.
- 20:16Speaker 3: Because that's even what mister two weeks I shout out
- 20:20Speaker 3: to him. I know, you know that's that's yeah, he's
- 20:22Speaker 3: the loft and that's dope vibe. But he was saying, like,
- 20:25Speaker 3: you know, the loft is made like a flagship. You know,
- 20:28Speaker 3: it's the lot hub. But really what he really making
- 20:31Speaker 3: a killing is the subscription exactly, the online So the
- 20:35Speaker 3: ancillary stuffs, correct. So I want to talk about that
- 20:37Speaker 3: because that's something that from the fitness side and just
- 20:40Speaker 3: business in general, it's always the ancillary things that you
- 20:42Speaker 3: probably make more money on. So it's like the gym
- 20:44Speaker 3: is like, Okay, this is the flagship. You feel content, yes,
- 20:48Speaker 3: But now the supplements, let's talk about that. That's a
- 20:51Speaker 3: billion dollar industry. So how did you get into the
- 20:53Speaker 3: supplements and how were you able to scale that brand.
- 20:56Speaker 1: Yeah, my very first supplement company is called I'm So
- 20:58Speaker 1: Wild for. I started in two thousand twelve, and listen,
- 21:02Speaker 1: I started taking supplements because prior to that, I never
- 21:05Speaker 1: took supplements. You know, you know when you see Floyd
- 21:08Speaker 1: Mayweather at a weigh in and he's eating McDonald's after
- 21:11Speaker 1: he weighs in, and I was that guy. You know,
- 21:13Speaker 1: I learned nutrition a little late, just because I have
- 21:16Speaker 1: good genetics. I never had any issues with anything, and
- 21:21Speaker 1: even with boxing, I was always confident enough to like,
- 21:24Speaker 1: never have to cut weight. I would fight wherever I
- 21:27Speaker 1: was at, even if I'm at the small scale of
- 21:30Speaker 1: whatever division I'm in. So, you know, but when I
- 21:34Speaker 1: was working as a trainer, and I had a lot.
- 21:37Speaker 1: I was very busy. I'm tired, you know what I'm saying,
- 21:40Speaker 1: I'm getting drained. So I started looking for supplements to
- 21:44Speaker 1: give me energy. So I liked the energy that I
- 21:47Speaker 1: would get, but I didn't like everything that came with it.
- 21:51Speaker 1: So I started researching. Every day, I would take pictures
- 21:55Speaker 1: of the ingredients on different products. Because I have no
- 21:59Speaker 1: background in kid mystry, you know, so I had to
- 22:02Speaker 1: teach myself. And this is a lesson for people, because
- 22:05Speaker 1: a lot of people think that I need a mentor
- 22:08Speaker 1: to figure this out, or how do I Nobody wants
- 22:10Speaker 1: to help me. Look, I had no one's help, you
- 22:13Speaker 1: know what I'm saying. I had nobody's help. While I
- 22:16Speaker 1: was working my regular job, me training people. At night,
- 22:19Speaker 1: I was going home using something that we all have
- 22:22Speaker 1: access to, that's Google, the Internet, and I'm googling ingredients.
- 22:26Speaker 1: I'm researching everything, seeing what Every night, it may be
- 22:29Speaker 1: two things that I research.
- 22:30Speaker 3: You know.
- 22:30Speaker 1: It was like I was back in school. Many nights
- 22:33Speaker 1: I will fall asleep with my laptop on my stomach,
- 22:35Speaker 1: you know, So research and research and research. Once I
- 22:39Speaker 1: nailed down, all right, these are the ingredients that provides
- 22:43Speaker 1: the energy. These ingredients is why I'm feeling getting flushed
- 22:48Speaker 1: skin or my head's itching or whatever side effect I
- 22:50Speaker 1: didn't want. All right, this is not necessary, This is
- 22:53Speaker 1: not necessary. I can cut these out, all right, How
- 22:55Speaker 1: do I find these ingredients? Then I how to find whatever?
- 23:00Speaker 1: Then I you know, China or whatever. Some I'm ordering
- 23:03Speaker 1: stuff online and it wasn't high quality stuff. I'm just
- 23:07Speaker 1: googling it and going, you know, but I started somewhere
- 23:11Speaker 1: at a starting point. So, and I'm getting ingredients in it,
- 23:15Speaker 1: coming packs by the kilo. And it looked like it
- 23:18Speaker 1: like like making drugs, you know what I'm saying, bacon
- 23:22Speaker 1: soda for real. So milligram scales, scales. But anyway, I
- 23:27Speaker 1: was creating my formulas in my kitchen. We all have
- 23:32Speaker 1: access to information. Are you accessing the information you have
- 23:36Speaker 1: access to? So I was so yeah, and testing stuff
- 23:42Speaker 1: out on myself. It didn't go well at first.
- 23:45Speaker 3: Right, and this is like supplements to kind of help
- 23:47Speaker 3: you recover faster.
- 23:49Speaker 1: I was trying to find something for energy, like a
- 23:51Speaker 1: pin check out, yeah, the first thing. So, so at
- 23:55Speaker 1: the time, I didn't know anything about a milligram scale,
- 23:58Speaker 1: and it was saying this is safe. This is kind
- 24:00Speaker 1: of pushing it all the different. So I'm like, all right,
- 24:03Speaker 1: it must be like a cheap tablespoon. That's you know, yah,
- 24:09Speaker 1: like bouncing off the walls. Yeah, all right, So I
- 24:12Speaker 1: took this one. I took that tablespoon full of caffeine
- 24:16Speaker 1: and hydrous and that's enough to put someone in cardiac arrest.
- 24:20Speaker 1: Oh man, how much I took? And I remember that
- 24:23Speaker 1: morning why I felt great, like good, you know. And
- 24:27Speaker 1: then while I'm I get to the gym, I'm like
- 24:29Speaker 1: feeling sad and down, like what's wrong with me? So
- 24:33Speaker 1: it speeds you up, then it slows you down, and
- 24:35Speaker 1: then I like, I gotta go. I just left. I
- 24:37Speaker 1: didn't tell nobody. I just left. I went home and
- 24:39Speaker 1: I slept for almost two days. I was, I was
- 24:42Speaker 1: just out, Yeah, I was. I woke up. My mouth
- 24:46Speaker 1: was like dry. You know what I'm saying, dehydrated. You know,
- 24:50Speaker 1: I'm glad. I'm lucky that I woke up. You know
- 24:53Speaker 1: what I mean about to say?
- 24:55Speaker 5: That's crazy?
- 24:56Speaker 1: So then you know research like, oh you did, because
- 24:59Speaker 1: you you can research everything. You can listen, you can
- 25:03Speaker 1: google how much is a tablespoon of caffeine? Very specific
- 25:08Speaker 1: everything's on the internet and it says like, this is
- 25:10Speaker 1: a dangerous amount. YadA ya YadA, you measure with a
- 25:13Speaker 1: milligram scale. I didn't know that was a thing. I
- 25:15Speaker 1: knew a gram scale. Milligram scales even smaller. So I
- 25:18Speaker 1: had to order that and I seen the minuscule looking
- 25:22Speaker 1: amount that I should have used, and I was like wow.
- 25:25Speaker 1: So anyway, and you know, fast forward. It just grew
- 25:29Speaker 1: from there and I refined it and got with a
- 25:34Speaker 1: partner that had experience in the industry. You know, as
- 25:38Speaker 1: your social media grows, a lot of people come to
- 25:40Speaker 1: you with different ideas. And one person, one of the
- 25:44Speaker 1: people that came to me was in the industry and
- 25:46Speaker 1: was like, yo, you ever think about doing supplements And
- 25:48Speaker 1: I'm like, I'm already doing it, you know, small scale,
- 25:51Speaker 1: you know, for me and my peers. So he's like,
- 25:54Speaker 1: let's take it bigger. So we worked together on that
- 25:57Speaker 1: and that was my first company and it did well,
- 26:00Speaker 1: you know at the time, and you know, I sold
- 26:03Speaker 1: my half about in twenty eighteen. You know, it was
- 26:09Speaker 1: a seven figure exit, which was big for me, but
- 26:13Speaker 1: it was not a big a real business like that,
- 26:16Speaker 1: you know what I mean. But it were. It was
- 26:18Speaker 1: a money making thing. And then at the time I
- 26:21Speaker 1: already started Ambrosia with my partners Sean and Mark, my guys,
- 26:26Speaker 1: and that was like that was a like a love child.
- 26:29Speaker 1: It's like, you know, we was on a plane one time.
- 26:32Speaker 1: I was like, we should make the dopest company like product,
- 26:36Speaker 1: like max out the science, right, you know, fuck it,
- 26:41Speaker 1: spend as much as we can on the most you know,
- 26:46Speaker 1: pharmaceutical grade ingredients, you know what I mean, And don't
- 26:52Speaker 1: charge people a lot of money. You know, we because
- 26:54Speaker 1: we're making money doing everything else, we don't have to
- 26:57Speaker 1: chill it with this.
- 26:58Speaker 6: So what's that process like, like, what is the process
- 27:00Speaker 6: of finding that team that the pharmacists like?
- 27:04Speaker 1: Yeah, research, research, Google research, yeah, asking. You know, at
- 27:08Speaker 1: this time, I know a lot of people. You know,
- 27:10Speaker 1: there's a few years in me being in the industry
- 27:12Speaker 1: and a lot of people like me. So I knew people,
- 27:15Speaker 1: Oh doctor so and so. So. We we was making
- 27:18Speaker 1: direct deals with actual scientists, like people who were creating
- 27:24Speaker 1: certain ingredients and like, yo, can we please work a
- 27:27Speaker 1: deal to where we getting exclusive on this, more exclusive
- 27:30Speaker 1: on that, and we and we work these people. They're flattered,
- 27:33Speaker 1: you know what I mean so because a lot of
- 27:35Speaker 1: people in sports nutrition will use the cheapest versions of
- 27:38Speaker 1: whatever to cut corners to increase their margins, and we
- 27:44Speaker 1: wasn't approaching it from a position of margins. We were
- 27:47Speaker 1: approaching it like, let's make the best shit possible and
- 27:51Speaker 1: make it and try to make it affordable, not lose money.
- 27:54Speaker 1: But you know, we're not tripping on trying to get
- 27:57Speaker 1: rich off of this because we didn't think that was
- 27:59Speaker 1: even poss because the products that we came up with
- 28:03Speaker 1: are not sexy products. It wasn't like the fat burners
- 28:07Speaker 1: or the pre workouts. It was things for optimal health
- 28:10Speaker 1: because at this point in my life, that's where I
- 28:12Speaker 1: was at. You know, I want to be healthy. You know,
- 28:14Speaker 1: I'm getting older, I'm more concerned about my actual health, right,
- 28:19Speaker 1: and when your health is optimized, everything else is on point.
- 28:23Speaker 1: Your performance, your sleep, your energy levels. So let's get
- 28:27Speaker 1: right circadian rhythm, brain functioning, or getting health. So these
- 28:32Speaker 1: are the things that Ambrosia is about. It's a health company, right,
- 28:36Speaker 1: So that's very difficult to sell. So in two thousand
- 28:41Speaker 1: and eighteen tax season, we're looking over everything and we
- 28:45Speaker 1: quietly did like a million dollars right, which is nothing,
- 28:48Speaker 1: but for something that you're not trying to push like that,
- 28:51Speaker 1: that was like, okay, something here, so we doubled down
- 28:55Speaker 1: and start going hard with it, you know what I mean.
- 28:59Speaker 1: And since then, the company's grown leaps and bounds. We
- 29:04Speaker 1: put out Planta, which is it's probably our flagship product,
- 29:08Speaker 1: which is a plant based protein, a vegan protein, because
- 29:10Speaker 1: I was a vegan for like three four years, and
- 29:13Speaker 1: you know, I don't think that that's the end all
- 29:16Speaker 1: to health being a vegan, but it's something I wanted
- 29:18Speaker 1: to do and I did it, so you know I
- 29:21Speaker 1: can talk about it. And a balanced diet for me works, right,
- 29:25Speaker 1: and this is going from my anecdotal studies on myself.
- 29:29Speaker 1: But also blood work. You know, I get blood work
- 29:32Speaker 1: done twice a year, complete panels. You know, people talk
- 29:35Speaker 1: about that all right, So have you done Have anyone
- 29:39Speaker 1: of y'all done blood work? Blood? Okay? Do y'all have
- 29:42Speaker 1: like your brokerage accounts apps on here and your bank
- 29:46Speaker 1: account apps on here? And you check it right because
- 29:48Speaker 1: that's important to you, right, how about your health? You
- 29:52Speaker 1: know what I'm saying, It's like why not check that
- 29:54Speaker 1: as well? You know, so some years ago I was big.
- 29:59Speaker 1: I was too fit. You know, I'm only six foot two.
- 30:02Speaker 1: Fifty is a lot of weight, how much you know.
- 30:06Speaker 1: I went got blood work like I'm good. It's my
- 30:08Speaker 1: first time doing blood work. And I was not good.
- 30:11Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying. I was trending to becoming
- 30:14Speaker 1: pre diabetic. I was like, oh, it was like a shock.
- 30:18Speaker 1: I'm thinking I'm the picture of health right physically right, right.
- 30:22Speaker 1: But weight is weight. Your organs don't know if it's
- 30:25Speaker 1: muscle or fat or it don't care, you know what
- 30:27Speaker 1: I'm saying. It's like, yo, this it's a lot of work, bro.
- 30:30Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying. We need some relief. So
- 30:33Speaker 1: I drastically changed my diet and you know, start focusing
- 30:36Speaker 1: on my health for real. And when you see this
- 30:39Speaker 1: is the beauty of getting your blood work done. Had
- 30:43Speaker 1: I not done that, I probably would have ended up
- 30:45Speaker 1: being pre diabetic then diabetic, you know. And then when
- 30:49Speaker 1: people become diabetic type two, you don't know it until
- 30:53Speaker 1: you're sick, until it's something chronically wrong with you. By
- 30:57Speaker 1: that time, it's probably it's not too late, but it's
- 30:59Speaker 1: pretty bad when you're having these kind of pains and
- 31:02Speaker 1: you have to go to the doctor. If you're preemptively
- 31:06Speaker 1: going getting checked and you know where you're at, this
- 31:09Speaker 1: is it's like a game, like I know where I'm at,
- 31:12Speaker 1: I know what I need to adjust, you know what
- 31:13Speaker 1: I mean. So I think that's an intelligent thing, you know,
- 31:16Speaker 1: especially with our health, because money is not important. It's
- 31:19Speaker 1: our health. You know, if we're not healthy, we can't
- 31:22Speaker 1: We're no good to nobody. So that's very important to me.
- 31:26Speaker 1: So I start monitoring that, you know, twice a year,
- 31:30Speaker 1: and I still do it to this day, and things
- 31:32Speaker 1: are good. It's like as I get older, everything is
- 31:35Speaker 1: getting better, you know what I mean, because I'm fine
- 31:37Speaker 1: tuning everything. You know. There's so many things in life
- 31:41Speaker 1: that we can't control. Our health we can, you know,
- 31:46Speaker 1: And the number one killers in this country is totally
- 31:49Speaker 1: on us. It's food, the number one thing. But and
- 31:53Speaker 1: the mechanism is type two diabetes and heart disease. You know,
- 31:58Speaker 1: that's how Americans are dying. So it's not drugs, it's
- 32:02Speaker 1: not violence, not car accidents, not alcohol, it's food.
- 32:05Speaker 6: So all the all the blood planels they're testing for
- 32:07Speaker 6: obviously diabetes, like you said, cholesterol.
- 32:09Speaker 1: Level, what else is everything? So I get a complete panel,
- 32:12Speaker 1: so I get everything. Of course, the more you get checked,
- 32:16Speaker 1: the more expensive it is. But what's three four hundred
- 32:20Speaker 1: dollars you know what I mean? Twice a year? Yeah,
- 32:22Speaker 1: what's your what's your life? And I tell people this
- 32:25Speaker 1: all the time. People organic is more expensive, and I'm like,
- 32:30Speaker 1: it's your life. Yeah, you know what I mean. You're
- 32:33Speaker 1: you're expensive, you know what I mean.
- 32:34Speaker 3: So it's more expensive to be sick.
- 32:37Speaker 1: It's more expensive to be sick, absolutely so. So yeah,
- 32:40Speaker 1: and then you're not not just being sick, but you're
- 32:44Speaker 1: draining your loved ones and your family and you're stressing
- 32:46Speaker 1: everybody out, you know. So, and life is not fun
- 32:50Speaker 1: when you're in pain. I had a friend a long
- 32:52Speaker 1: time ago. He was multi millionaire. I'm in college and
- 32:56Speaker 1: he's a little older, and you know, his crib something
- 33:01Speaker 1: like this, and I'd be like, man, you doing it
- 33:04Speaker 1: like you're doing. I'm broke, broke, right, broke bro I'm
- 33:07Speaker 1: like worrying about my car overheating. It was those days,
- 33:11Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying. And he was like, man,
- 33:13Speaker 1: I trade my life with yours in any minute. I'm
- 33:15Speaker 1: like what And he was like, because you know we
- 33:18Speaker 1: take things for granted. He was like, man, look at
- 33:20Speaker 1: you, you healthy? Say you healthy? He said, when I'm in pain,
- 33:23Speaker 1: my money does nothing for me, I don't care, you
- 33:26Speaker 1: know what I mean. And he told me about one
- 33:28Speaker 1: time he tried to od on pills because he was
- 33:30Speaker 1: in so much pain, you know what I mean. So
- 33:32Speaker 1: I'm like, it put things in perspective for me, and
- 33:34Speaker 1: I do appreciate my health now and I stay on
- 33:39Speaker 1: top of it.
- 33:40Speaker 3: So no, that's crazy. So when you sold the company
- 33:43Speaker 3: started the new company, the first time I saw the
- 33:47Speaker 3: supplements was online Instagram. Was that the key to really
- 33:53Speaker 3: blow this thing out? The word because how many units
- 33:56Speaker 3: are you moving among because we saw the warehouse, so
- 34:00Speaker 3: don't know how you measure that, but like how many
- 34:02Speaker 3: products get actually moved out of that warehouse a month?
- 34:05Speaker 1: Yeah, I gotta look at those numbers. I look at
- 34:08Speaker 1: the sales now, and you know, we're doing a million
- 34:14Speaker 1: a month, give or take a couple hundred thousand. And
- 34:19Speaker 1: we're actually we got some things going on right now
- 34:22Speaker 1: with one of our biggest retailers that they're taking another
- 34:25Speaker 1: product of ours, which is huge, which is going to
- 34:28Speaker 1: scale up even more. So you know, sales are solid
- 34:32Speaker 1: as good as it gets, you know. I mean it
- 34:34Speaker 1: can always be better, you know. But yeah, we're doing
- 34:36Speaker 1: big numbers.
- 34:37Speaker 3: So like, what was the catalyst to drive that Instagram
- 34:40Speaker 3: social media?
- 34:40Speaker 1: Yeah, organic content, YouTube really paid. Nah, everything starts with organic. Listen.
- 34:48Speaker 1: I could do damage organically, and then when we turn
- 34:51Speaker 1: on ads, they don't do well unless the content is popping.
- 34:55Speaker 1: You know. The more I'm doing content, the better the
- 34:58Speaker 1: ads do, and vice versas. So there's people who I
- 35:02Speaker 1: know a lot of people I talk to a lot
- 35:04Speaker 1: of people. We share trade secrets, and there's a lot
- 35:06Speaker 1: of people who don't have that big fun in presence
- 35:09Speaker 1: who they rely heavily on ads and they may be
- 35:12Speaker 1: doing you know, they may be doing a million a
- 35:15Speaker 1: month too, but they're spending seven hundred thousand ads, you
- 35:18Speaker 1: know what I'm saying. And that's unacceptable for me. Like
- 35:20Speaker 1: my ad spind is not high, you know. And I
- 35:23Speaker 1: used to like get at my guy's ie, that's my bro.
- 35:27Speaker 1: He's a genius. But I like, bro, let's turn it up.
- 35:30Speaker 1: Let's turn it up. And he sat me down one
- 35:33Speaker 1: day and he showed me how he's doing it. And
- 35:35Speaker 1: it's a very articulate method. On what he's doing. He's
- 35:38Speaker 1: scaling up tiny, slow increments because sometimes less is more
- 35:43Speaker 1: and we just don't need to spend that kind of money.
- 35:47Speaker 1: We don't need to be throwing money at it all
- 35:49Speaker 1: the time because that doesn't you get to a point
- 35:52Speaker 1: of diminishing returns. And we're things are we're constantly doing better.
- 35:57Speaker 1: So what do you want, like say less?
- 36:00Speaker 5: It's like what always tell us good? Dope is gonna
- 36:03Speaker 5: tell usself?
- 36:04Speaker 6: Right, So you had the exactly you had the millions
- 36:06Speaker 6: of views on YouTube.
- 36:07Speaker 1: So so even without before in addition to that, let
- 36:11Speaker 1: mean to this, you know, I will go and do
- 36:13Speaker 1: tours like different countries, different states, whatever, Like let's say Australia,
- 36:18Speaker 1: I'll call, you know, talk to whichever distributor I'm dealing
- 36:22Speaker 1: with out there. We set up X amount of stores.
- 36:25Speaker 1: So the last Australia chardet was Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Gold Coasts, right,
- 36:33Speaker 1: and it was like every day so flying excuse me,
- 36:36Speaker 1: I'm sorry, Sydney. First flew to Sydney, off the plane
- 36:40Speaker 1: goes straight to the store, Q and A, you know,
- 36:43Speaker 1: talking to the people, talking about the product, educating them
- 36:46Speaker 1: on the product. Excuse me, excuse me. My marketing is
- 36:49Speaker 1: education on what because it's hard to sell this stuff right. So,
- 36:54Speaker 1: but once if you have a captive audience and you can,
- 36:56Speaker 1: I can explain to them why, you know, I have
- 37:02Speaker 1: products like for everything, blue light protection, internally, why getting
- 37:06Speaker 1: magnesium past the blood brain barrier is important for your brain,
- 37:10Speaker 1: and YadA, YadA YadA. Once I can explain these to people,
- 37:13Speaker 1: they're like, yo, say, let's I need that. I need that,
- 37:16Speaker 1: you know what I mean. So, so we'll do that.
- 37:20Speaker 1: Take everybody you know, you buy X amount and you
- 37:22Speaker 1: come me to the gym, put we all work out together,
- 37:26Speaker 1: go eat, sleep on a planet, to the next city,
- 37:29Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying. So it's a lot of
- 37:31Speaker 1: work and it's fun, but it really is. It's a
- 37:34Speaker 1: lot of work, you know what I mean. It kind
- 37:36Speaker 1: of take the fun out of traveling. Sometimes people just
- 37:38Speaker 1: see me, they see me all over the world and
- 37:39Speaker 1: they be like, yo, you're just doing it big. I'm like,
- 37:42Speaker 1: it's worked, though, it's worked, you know what I mean.
- 37:44Speaker 1: So and then sometimes you feel like, man, I could
- 37:47Speaker 1: just post and get all of these people. Why am
- 37:49Speaker 1: I going to a store? That shit matters? It matters
- 37:53Speaker 1: because everywhere that I go and do an in store
- 37:56Speaker 1: presentation like those regions grow else grow in those places,
- 38:01Speaker 1: and the retail of the store they really appreciate that.
- 38:05Speaker 1: They appreciate when first of all, they have a lot
- 38:07Speaker 1: of products already, right, most of these products have no
- 38:11Speaker 1: personality associated with it. And if they do, it's a
- 38:14Speaker 1: temporary association. There's a sponsored person for x amount of time.
- 38:19Speaker 1: They're not all you know, they're not. They don't get it.
- 38:21Speaker 1: They don't care if they come out. You got to
- 38:23Speaker 1: pay them to come, and no personality there, you know
- 38:27Speaker 1: what I mean. Well, when I go Yo, it'd be
- 38:29Speaker 1: like we're talking about we're building you know what I'm saying,
- 38:33Speaker 1: we're talking about life. We're talking about product, but we're
- 38:35Speaker 1: talking about life. We're talking about all types of things.
- 38:37Speaker 1: So and these people really like that, they really appreciate it.
- 38:40Speaker 1: So these retailers will always put your stuff to the forefront,
- 38:43Speaker 1: recommend it. We treat our, you treat us good, We
- 38:46Speaker 1: treat you good. That's just how That's how I am.
- 38:49Speaker 1: So I would do that. I've done it in the UK,
- 38:52Speaker 1: all over the United States, you know, so a lot
- 38:55Speaker 1: of old school groundwork, you know what I mean, Just
- 38:59Speaker 1: as if I'm going door to door selling teaching people
- 39:03Speaker 1: about the product.
- 39:04Speaker 6: What's the process in scaling to the next product, right,
- 39:06Speaker 6: because you started out with one and you have several.
- 39:09Speaker 5: So what's that process?
- 39:10Speaker 6: Like are you looking at the market and saying that's
- 39:12Speaker 6: something that's missing we need to add that, Like, what's.
- 39:14Speaker 1: Your correct So right now, we're in the process of
- 39:17Speaker 1: launching a new pre workout called Kinetic and it's a
- 39:20Speaker 1: pre workout slash nootropic. So nootropic is a formula for
- 39:25Speaker 1: the brain brain functioning. A lot of my products are
- 39:28Speaker 1: around that, you know what I mean. So so and
- 39:32Speaker 1: pre workouts. You know, everybody wants a pre workout, so
- 39:36Speaker 1: and I've held back on doing a pre workout all
- 39:39Speaker 1: these years. So it's interesting. The pre workouts is the
- 39:43Speaker 1: easy money. It's huge margins, right and it's the.
- 39:46Speaker 3: Easiest thing to sell for supplements.
- 39:48Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm barely doing it now.
- 39:50Speaker 3: Why is it? Why is that?
- 39:52Speaker 1: Well I'm hard headed?
- 39:53Speaker 3: No, No, why is it the easiest?
- 39:55Speaker 1: Oh? Because it's something you take it, you feel it,
- 39:57Speaker 1: bam right away. You feel it. It gets your change,
- 39:59Speaker 1: gives your it gives you a response. Right then, Yeah,
- 40:01Speaker 1: you go work out, you feel you're in a good mood,
- 40:04Speaker 1: you know. So you know there's people that fiend for
- 40:06Speaker 1: pre workouts, you know what I mean. So I get it.
- 40:09Speaker 1: It's an easy cell. Pre workouts, fat burners are easy cells,
- 40:12Speaker 1: you know. So, but I had none of that. You know.
- 40:16Speaker 1: They say get it out the mud, like I got
- 40:18Speaker 1: got the quick saying, you know what I mean. So,
- 40:21Speaker 1: but I like that. I like those challenges. I feel
- 40:24Speaker 1: like I'm one of the most capable people on earth,
- 40:26Speaker 1: you know what I mean. You could put me in
- 40:28Speaker 1: any country. I'm gonna figure it out, you know so.
- 40:31Speaker 1: So yeah, so I'm this is it's like a sweet victory,
- 40:36Speaker 1: you know what I mean when you hit these numbers,
- 40:39Speaker 1: when you know the retailers are happy with you. You know,
- 40:42Speaker 1: they're calling us like, well, what do you think is next?
- 40:44Speaker 1: It's like, y'all, yeah, okay, I'll tell you, you know
- 40:47Speaker 1: what I'm saying. So, and we had a call with
- 40:51Speaker 1: Vitamin Shop last week and just pitched them on it.
- 40:54Speaker 1: They love it. They take They're so big, they take
- 40:58Speaker 1: in products certain times a year year. So the next
- 41:02Speaker 1: time they take in product is like November. So we're like,
- 41:04Speaker 1: all right, cool. However, they hit us the next day, like,
- 41:07Speaker 1: you know, we're excited about this. We like your enthusiasm.
- 41:10Speaker 1: Can we get it, you know, way sooner. I'm like, say, let's.
- 41:13Speaker 5: The vitamin shop is a retailer.
- 41:15Speaker 6: Is it treated like how products get placed in supermarkets
- 41:17Speaker 6: where you have to pay to be on certain places
- 41:20Speaker 6: in the shelves.
- 41:21Speaker 1: Nah, it's different. Nah there, I mean, I'm sure that exists,
- 41:24Speaker 1: but that's not our situation. There's a lot of different
- 41:26Speaker 1: Anything can be worked out and negotiated. Typically they want
- 41:30Speaker 1: you to do some kind of promo. That's all worked
- 41:33Speaker 1: out right, But the numbers that they do because they
- 41:36Speaker 1: are seven hundred stores so and we're in every one,
- 41:40Speaker 1: so the amount of volume that they buy is you know,
- 41:45Speaker 1: it's game changine, you know. And I have only have
- 41:48Speaker 1: one product with them right now and now it's about
- 41:51Speaker 1: to be too and it's just going to keep going
- 41:53Speaker 1: from there. But the market, you know, so it's it's.
- 41:58Speaker 6: This episode is brought to you by P and C Bank.

- 44:47Speaker 1: It's exciting. It's an exciting time right now for me,
- 44:49Speaker 1: you know, and a lot of people may not understand
- 44:51Speaker 1: it right because it's not your world. But it's very exciting.
- 44:55Speaker 1: Like I said before, I've been selling things that are
- 44:57Speaker 1: very difficult to sell, but I'm saying telling it now,
- 45:01Speaker 1: I'm about to be selling things that are very easy
- 45:02Speaker 1: to sell. Right. It's like the dessert, you know what
- 45:05Speaker 1: I mean. It says if you can eat dessert and
- 45:08Speaker 1: get all the healthy benefits from it, that's what's about
- 45:10Speaker 1: to happen, you know what I mean. So it's a
- 45:12Speaker 1: good look.
- 45:13Speaker 3: So why is why is the protein protein bad?
- 45:16Speaker 1: I'm not going to say it's bad. Here's the thing.
- 45:19Speaker 1: You know, there's a big debate whether people should eat
- 45:23Speaker 1: meat or not eat meat. Right and listen in my
- 45:27Speaker 1: anecdotal studies on myself and me monitoring my blood work.
- 45:32Speaker 1: You know, when I reduced the amount of meat that
- 45:37Speaker 1: I eat that I ate, well, I drastically reduced it
- 45:39Speaker 1: my animal protein intake. My health got better right then,
- 45:45Speaker 1: and this is being measured by my blood work. Okay,
- 45:48Speaker 1: then I stopped eating meat altogether and my health stayed good,
- 45:52Speaker 1: you know. So then I brought meat back in, my
- 45:56Speaker 1: health stayed good, but still very moderate, not a lot, right.
- 46:00Speaker 1: So it just told me that getting rid of meat
- 46:02Speaker 1: altogether or reducing the amount of meat, and there's a
- 46:07Speaker 1: lot of other variables with that as well, because you
- 46:09Speaker 1: can eat no meat and still be very unhealthy. Right,
- 46:12Speaker 1: So let's make that distinction. And I'm not giving anyone
- 46:14Speaker 1: advice on exactly how to do it. I gotta say
- 46:18Speaker 1: this because some people would just take anything you say
- 46:20Speaker 1: and round with it. You have to sit down with
- 46:22Speaker 1: someone who was certified and give them all of your
- 46:26Speaker 1: information and they can come up with a plan for you.
- 46:28Speaker 1: Don't just take these general things that I'm saying for
- 46:31Speaker 1: as gospel. But anyway, it for for my observations and
- 46:37Speaker 1: studies that whether it was no meat or just a
- 46:40Speaker 1: little meat, I was good. Right. Too much a lot
- 46:43Speaker 1: of meat no win on. So here's the thing. Now,
- 46:48Speaker 1: I'm not saying don't eat any animal proaching at all,
- 46:52Speaker 1: but let's reduce it and way proteing. If you already
- 46:56Speaker 1: take way proaching, that's an easy way to reduce animal
- 46:59Speaker 1: your animal proats intake by replacing it with vegan protein. Now,
- 47:02Speaker 1: the problem used to be two things. One, the tastes
- 47:06Speaker 1: vegan protein tastes like plants, is not very delicious, right
- 47:11Speaker 1: in Two vegan protein used to be inferior to weigh
- 47:15Speaker 1: protein poundful pound in terms of the micro nutrition and
- 47:21Speaker 1: getting enough amino acids and things like that for your muscles.
- 47:25Speaker 1: Now that's not the same. That's not a vibe anymore.
- 47:28Speaker 1: The level in terms of poundful of pound, what you're
- 47:32Speaker 1: getting as far as potency is, we're there, right, So
- 47:38Speaker 1: we use some flowers for amino acids because you have
- 47:41Speaker 1: that's a vibe now, right. People don't know that typically
- 47:44Speaker 1: amino acids come from bird feathers, you know what I mean.
- 47:47Speaker 1: It's disgusting, right, but whatever, we eat animals anyway, so
- 47:50Speaker 1: what's a feather or two or twenty anyway. So but
- 47:54Speaker 1: you don't have to do that, so you know, it's
- 47:57Speaker 1: more expensive. It's a lot of work for us to
- 48:00Speaker 1: source these healthier alternatives. But it's there and we're doing
- 48:05Speaker 1: it because that's that's what we that's how we get down.
- 48:08Speaker 1: I have a lot of pride in being able to
- 48:10Speaker 1: stand by something one thousand percent and stand next to
- 48:13Speaker 1: whomever and like go pound for pound with ingredients and
- 48:16Speaker 1: let's let's let's go. You want a battle, let's do this,
- 48:19Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying. So, and we we have
- 48:24Speaker 1: the best. Listen the numbers on lote. We have the
- 48:26Speaker 1: number one plant based protein in the country, is there, right?
- 48:30Speaker 1: So anyone that tasted, they're locked in, They're like, yo,
- 48:34Speaker 1: this is fucking crazy. You know, very exotic flavors, Banana, maple,
- 48:38Speaker 1: French toasts, we got twigs flavors. We got so many
- 48:42Speaker 1: peanut butter, jelly, you know what I mean. So you
- 48:45Speaker 1: know we have sprinkled cupcakes. We got so many delicious flavors.
- 48:49Speaker 1: And typically, right, typically with sports nutrition right now, vegan
- 48:55Speaker 1: is a trend, right, vegan protein. So you come out
- 48:59Speaker 1: with a couple chocolate, vanilla, maybe strawberry. We have thirteen flavors.
- 49:04Speaker 1: It's because this is what we do. And I was
- 49:06Speaker 1: doing vegan protein back with my first company, you know
- 49:09Speaker 1: what I'm saying. So I've been on that for a
- 49:11Speaker 1: long time. It's not a trend for me. And for
- 49:14Speaker 1: the record, companies do not make a lot of money
- 49:17Speaker 1: off of protein because it's heavy and the margins are
- 49:19Speaker 1: not It's very expensive to make, so the margins are
- 49:22Speaker 1: not the best. Right, So it's not for me. It's
- 49:27Speaker 1: not a play like I'm gonna do what's popular. I
- 49:29Speaker 1: don't do. I run away from what's popular. I run
- 49:31Speaker 1: away from trends. I'm like, I'm not interested. I don't
- 49:33Speaker 1: even want to know about it, you know what I mean.
- 49:35Speaker 1: And if I come to it, it's because I came
- 49:37Speaker 1: to it in a real way at a time that
- 49:40Speaker 1: makes sense for me, you know. So that's you know,
- 49:43Speaker 1: credibility is huge in my book. I'm on you know,
- 49:47Speaker 1: I'm from the streets. It is what it is. I'm
- 49:48Speaker 1: from the streets, and you know, my family was like
- 49:54Speaker 1: real deal people and that matters to me. And there's
- 49:57Speaker 1: a certain quality of people that make it from the streets,
- 50:02Speaker 1: that come up from the streets. It is what it is.
- 50:04Speaker 1: Just because someone is doing something illegal doesn't mean they're
- 50:07Speaker 1: a bad person, because a lot of things that were
- 50:09Speaker 1: considered illegal are now legal. You know, there's a lot
- 50:12Speaker 1: of things that are legal that should be illegal, you
- 50:14Speaker 1: know what I mean. So So anyway, me being happy
- 50:18Speaker 1: with and proud of who I am and what I'm
- 50:21Speaker 1: doing on the daily is important to me. So that's
- 50:23Speaker 1: why everything that we do is above approach, our Q
- 50:27Speaker 1: and C is. We spend a lot of money on that, right,
- 50:30Speaker 1: So you know you're getting, like you said, good dope,
- 50:34Speaker 1: sell itself, right, And that's that's the vibe with Ambrosia's
- 50:38Speaker 1: grown beyond Mike Rashid. You know, it's his own thing.
- 50:41Speaker 5: And Brosia is the supplement and Brosia collective.
- 50:45Speaker 6: But then you got Snackhouse, So I want to talk
- 50:47Speaker 6: about how that came about and the mission statement of Snackhouse.
- 50:52Speaker 1: Mission statement is a guilt free snack. It is what
- 50:55Speaker 1: it is. It is guilt free. The macro nutrients is craziest.
- 50:58Speaker 1: So for those who don't, it's a protein puff. Right.
- 51:01Speaker 1: We have sweet flavors, we have savory flavors. I'm not pitching,
- 51:04Speaker 1: I'm just like, you know what I'm saying. So I'm
- 51:08Speaker 1: a savory guy. I like the hot, spicy stuff. Right.
- 51:11Speaker 1: So here's the twist, Like you could just eat it
- 51:13Speaker 1: as a snack, you know, it fills that void for
- 51:16Speaker 1: chips or something like that crunchy whatever, or you can
- 51:19Speaker 1: like the savory stuff, you could throw in a salad.
- 51:21Speaker 1: So you're getting your protein with you know, no carbs
- 51:24Speaker 1: on it, you know what I'm saying, very little calories
- 51:27Speaker 1: or the sweet ones. You can make it as a cereal,
- 51:30Speaker 1: put it in your yogurt, or just eat as a snack. Right. So,
- 51:34Speaker 1: a few years ago, one of the stributes that we
- 51:37Speaker 1: deal with, we would see it at one of their
- 51:38Speaker 1: locations and met the guy who had the company and
- 51:43Speaker 1: it wasn't called snackhouse at the time, and his product
- 51:47Speaker 1: was good. He's good at what he does. I didn't
- 51:50Speaker 1: really care for the name or the packaging, but I
- 51:54Speaker 1: liked it. So stayed in touch with him, and at
- 51:58Speaker 1: some point we seen that he wasn't ailing, so made
- 52:02Speaker 1: a proposition to him, you know, to buy the company,
- 52:05Speaker 1: majority of the company, leave him on board, put some
- 52:09Speaker 1: cash into business, get a new facility, you know, do everything,
- 52:13Speaker 1: big boy style. And he was with it. So made
- 52:16Speaker 1: that deal happen, acquired that company, gave it a huge facelift,
- 52:22Speaker 1: and we're rocking. Now we're rocking. We're killing it on Amazon.
- 52:26Speaker 1: One of my partners on Snackhouse is an Amazon guru,
- 52:31Speaker 1: you know, shout out them up with Robert in Puerto Rico,
- 52:33Speaker 1: see you next week. But but yeah, so we got
- 52:36Speaker 1: it's just dope. I have a network of dope people,
- 52:40Speaker 1: smart people, and we're doing dope ship.
- 52:42Speaker 6: The nutrients were moving, you said a million of months. Yeah,
- 52:46Speaker 6: how about the snackhouse product?
- 52:48Speaker 1: Snackhouse would like this is our first full year. The
- 52:51Speaker 1: snackhouse is still growing. It's not there yet, but it's growing.
- 52:55Speaker 1: You know, we're we're ranked really high on Amazon. I
- 52:58Speaker 1: don't know the exact number right off. I should have
- 53:00Speaker 1: got it on my way up here. But it's moving,
- 53:03Speaker 1: it's doing numbers. It's in the six figures.
- 53:05Speaker 5: So does it for retailers?
- 53:06Speaker 6: Does it make it easier now because you have established
- 53:09Speaker 6: brand that they have with the supplements, Now that you
- 53:11Speaker 6: have another product, is easy to now those type of
- 53:14Speaker 6: relationships we.
- 53:16Speaker 1: Just start dealing with seven eleven. They're bringing it in,
- 53:19Speaker 1: which is it's big, you know, But in terms of
- 53:23Speaker 1: retailers are traditional sports nutrition retailers. Since we already have
- 53:26Speaker 1: relationships with a lot of these places, it's easy to
- 53:30Speaker 1: walk something right back in. So yeah, so one thing,
- 53:34Speaker 1: bust down the doors. We come in with everything. You know.
- 53:38Speaker 3: Let me ask you, this meal prep is really big,
- 53:41Speaker 3: and I know you said that, you know that's gonna
- 53:43Speaker 3: be something that you're really enthusiastic about as far as
- 53:45Speaker 3: your meal prep. So can you talk about that industry
- 53:48Speaker 3: and your your decision to go into the mill prep game,
- 53:52Speaker 3: because that's something that not only can people nutrition and
- 53:55Speaker 3: fitness can benefit from, but I feel like chefs, there's
- 53:58Speaker 3: a lot of chefs out here that cook, and you know,
- 54:01Speaker 3: it's difficult as far as learning how to scale as
- 54:04Speaker 3: a chef. Right, Like, you can just cook for individual people,
- 54:07Speaker 3: but there's a limit to how much money you can
- 54:10Speaker 3: make it just from a time standpoint. But if you're
- 54:11Speaker 3: the mail prepping, that's like you can do masses amount.
- 54:14Speaker 3: So what's the deal with that.
- 54:15Speaker 1: Yeah, there's a lot of meal prep companies. I see
- 54:18Speaker 1: them pop, come and go. There's they're they're not thinking big.
- 54:22Speaker 1: It looks they all look very local prop Yeah, not
- 54:27Speaker 1: of high quality. You know, Listen, the packaging. Everything matters.
- 54:33Speaker 1: In my book, everything matters. And if I'm asking somebody
- 54:37Speaker 1: to spend money on something, they're gonna be okay with
- 54:39Speaker 1: They're not gonna be like, I don't know, like you
- 54:41Speaker 1: sure so? And then when it comes to food, I
- 54:45Speaker 1: take that serious. Something you' putting in your body, you
- 54:47Speaker 1: know what I mean. So I don't want people having
- 54:50Speaker 1: any questions is this safe? Is this you know? So yeah,
- 54:55Speaker 1: so we just shot to the top because we're it's
- 54:58Speaker 1: quality listen, and there's a lane for everything and everybody. Right,
- 55:03Speaker 1: there's a lot of cheap, error or more you know,
- 55:06Speaker 1: economically sound companies out there. Ours is a little bit
- 55:10Speaker 1: more pricey, but there's a lot of people with more money,
- 55:13Speaker 1: more you know, to spend on their nutrition. Everything is organic,
- 55:19Speaker 1: grass fed, wild caught, you name it. We cover, We
- 55:22Speaker 1: check all of those boxes which are effecta and also
- 55:25Speaker 1: it's more of a like a more of a gourmet
- 55:28Speaker 1: style meal prep because meal prep can be very redundant, bland,
- 55:33Speaker 1: you know. So it's like fuck it, let's make it delicious,
- 55:36Speaker 1: Let's make it fun and sexy, you know. And we
- 55:40Speaker 1: give people the options to do you know, every type
- 55:43Speaker 1: of meal plan there is, like every type of style
- 55:46Speaker 1: of eating, vegan, prescatarian, you name it. But also we
- 55:50Speaker 1: provide with them with the you know, the options of
- 55:54Speaker 1: doing like this ala carte. Because I'm an ala carte guy.
- 55:56Speaker 1: I put my stuff together. How I'm basic with food,
- 55:59Speaker 1: like food, food. I have a different relationship with food
- 56:02Speaker 1: than most people. It's just an energy source for me.
- 56:05Speaker 1: I'm not like, oh I'm a foodie. I'm not a foodie,
- 56:07Speaker 1: you know what I mean. So yeah, a la carte
- 56:10Speaker 1: or just order your meals or whatever. So yeah, so
- 56:14Speaker 1: it's it's it's taken off. It's taken off. And I
- 56:17Speaker 1: got to send a huge shout out to my partner,
- 56:20Speaker 1: the founder of the company, Greg Condley. That's my guy.
- 56:23Speaker 1: He's just a dope ass dude and a dope businessman.
- 56:27Speaker 1: And you know, we've done things in the past, but
- 56:29Speaker 1: this was a grand slam.
- 56:30Speaker 3: So, like, what's the science behind that? As far as like,
- 56:33Speaker 3: is the meals frozen? Do you have a chef? Is
- 56:36Speaker 3: it like a factory that's just making.
- 56:38Speaker 1: We have a chef, We have kitchens, We have the
- 56:41Speaker 1: main ones here in California. There is the Hub. Our
- 56:44Speaker 1: headquarters is up in the Bay and Sacramento, and we
- 56:48Speaker 1: do have a massive chef over everything making all the
- 56:51Speaker 1: recipes and nothing's frozen. Everything's fresh. We ship it. You
- 56:55Speaker 1: get it in a day twenty right next day, right, so,
- 57:00Speaker 1: and the technology everything is is air tight. The way
- 57:04Speaker 1: it is that it's packaged and there's ice packs in
- 57:07Speaker 1: it just for overnight. But I've left the box in
- 57:10Speaker 1: my kitchen for two three days and it's fine. It's
- 57:13Speaker 1: still intact, still cold because it's like, you know, we
- 57:16Speaker 1: have the ice packs in there, you know what I mean.
- 57:18Speaker 1: So yeah, so you get it, you open it up,
- 57:21Speaker 1: it's you know, I'll send y'all song.
- 57:22Speaker 3: So it's like it's like it's like somebody made a
- 57:25Speaker 3: meal and just put it in a refrigerator and froze it
- 57:27Speaker 3: and then they send it to you and just warm
- 57:29Speaker 3: it up.
- 57:29Speaker 1: There's no freezing, just put the ice. But you get
- 57:32Speaker 1: it fresh. Yeah, but it's the ice packs to keep
- 57:34Speaker 1: just keeping cold. So it's like refrigerated figure too hot.
- 57:39Speaker 3: So you can't really So the mail prep they have
- 57:41Speaker 3: to get the new meal. Do they get like a
- 57:43Speaker 3: bunch of meals for the week or do they just
- 57:44Speaker 3: get one meal every day?
- 57:45Speaker 1: Nah, you don't get a meal every day.
- 57:46Speaker 3: You get it for the week, for the week, correct,
- 57:48Speaker 3: like five meals coming on Wednesday or however.
- 57:51Speaker 1: Many you whatever you plan you set up. You know,
- 57:53Speaker 1: some people three four meals a day.
- 57:56Speaker 3: It's a big thing because a lot of people don't
- 57:57Speaker 3: have time to cook.
- 57:58Speaker 1: Correct. That's I'm like that, you know, sometimes I have
- 58:01Speaker 1: the intention to cook, but by the time I get home,
- 58:03Speaker 1: like I'm tired, you know, I just pop something in.
- 58:06Speaker 1: You know, it's very convenient for people like me. I'm
- 58:09Speaker 1: busy and I legitimately eat trifecta damn every day. And
- 58:13Speaker 1: it's been like that for the past five six years.
- 58:15Speaker 1: So you know, it works for me, it works for
- 58:18Speaker 1: a lot of people. You know, it's a we do
- 58:21Speaker 1: big numbers with.
- 58:22Speaker 6: That, Like, so, what's up, like the profit margins on this,
- 58:26Speaker 6: because we've seen it. Like sometimes people say the meal
- 58:29Speaker 6: prep can be expensive, but you know, you're training the
- 58:32Speaker 6: time that you didn't have to cook, So what's the
- 58:33Speaker 6: profit margins on all?
- 58:34Speaker 1: Right? The profit margins are the margins are not the
- 58:36Speaker 1: greatest because once again, it is very high quality food
- 58:41Speaker 1: and it's very expensive to ship because we do ship
- 58:44Speaker 1: it overnight, right, that eats up a lot of costs
- 58:47Speaker 1: domestic and it's not only domestic. We can't see anything
- 58:50Speaker 1: perishable like that internationally. However, volume is our thing and
- 58:57Speaker 1: it's all subscription based, and you know, I'll put it
- 59:01Speaker 1: like this, I just got to ask for a report
- 59:03Speaker 1: before we sat down, and you can see you can
- 59:06Speaker 1: see the first number is monthly and the second number
- 59:10Speaker 1: is the annual run rate. So so you see and
- 59:12Speaker 1: then you see the growth that bottom number, that's the
- 59:17Speaker 1: top number, yes sir, yeah, So for those it's seventeen
- 59:21Speaker 1: million a month, you know, you tell them, you know me.
- 59:24Speaker 5: Yes, can we take the number?
- 59:26Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, seventeen million a month and the annual was
- 59:30Speaker 6: about two hundred and eight million.
- 59:32Speaker 1: And you see the growth rate, yes, monthly.
- 59:35Speaker 5: Twelve percent growth every month.
- 59:39Speaker 1: I love it.
- 59:40Speaker 3: I love it.
- 59:41Speaker 1: See this is people talk about themselves.
- 59:43Speaker 5: They're talking.
- 59:45Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying.
- 59:46Speaker 3: We see that close.
- 59:48Speaker 1: Oh it's not gloving.
- 59:51Speaker 3: It makes mon Yeah, reset the room PCR.
- 59:57Speaker 1: Yo. I was in a room with grand card On
- 59:59Speaker 1: and he was alright, let's ptr PTR Like I don't.
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: I'm sorry, what is this? What does this you speak of? So?
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: So how about hold on real quick, real quick? So
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: Greg is my guy, my partner trusts one million percent.
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: We've been through a lot together, right, and I put
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: the first I was the first investor in Trifecta, you know,
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: years ago, and it's it's you know, it's the best
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: money I ever spent or put up literally and just
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: it was a celebration when we were here when we
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: were at eight million a month. You know what I'm saying,
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: That was a celebration. That's why I remember twenty nineteen
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: because we beat that hundred million in sales. You know
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: what I'm saying, for the for the years. So that
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: was a celebration, you know what I mean. So you
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: know we're over doubling. We're doubling that now, you know
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: what I mean. So it's good.
- 1:00:49Speaker 5: Is good.
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: It's just that future life is good, you know what
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: I mean. See this this right here. You know people
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: a lot of people. Man, you'd be surprised with some
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: of the things that people say at expos and stuff
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: like that. And you know, this guy came to me
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: one day and he was like in shout out to
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: Sime and panic. That's my brother. He's big in fitness
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: as well in business. And he our boots a caddy
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: corner from each other. And a guy came up, and
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: you know, people think that I don't know, like y'all
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: must not really be cool, say like, hey, you think
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: they kept really making money. I was just like, that's
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: an inappropriate question for one. But he's making a lot
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: of money. He's a multi millionaire. We're getting we're getting
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: to the bag. He's like, y'all really get money like that? Like, Bro,
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: we there's no none of my peers in the industry
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: is doing numbers like this. You know what I'm saying, Is.
- 1:01:43Speaker 6: There a PCU not the country off, but is there
- 1:01:46Speaker 6: a piece of you who remembers the guy pre twenty
- 1:01:49Speaker 6: twelve and the people who used to look at you
- 1:01:51Speaker 6: like they ain't gonna be shit?
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: Listen, there's people that I remember.
- 1:01:56Speaker 5: Look at me now I remember.
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: No, I don't really get give a shit, you know,
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: saying that's not because here's the thing, Bro, I'm a
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: loving person, you know what I'm saying. And I tend
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: to put my energy in my family. You know this
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: as my family. Everybody that you see me with working,
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: we're all a family. It's no, it's no hierarchy, We're
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: just it's a round table vibe, you know what I mean.
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: So everyone's input is very important. You know, we travel
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: the world together, we see everything. You know, we've been
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: from the bottom to the top. Like this is a
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: literally many many years of friendship everybody around me. So
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: I don't really care about these people, you know what
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: I'm saying. But I do remember funny things like you know,
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: I was the you know, prior to me in like
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: CT Fletcher YouTube fitness stuff was whack. Not I'm not
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: going to say that it wasn't whack. It was not
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: what it is now right. It was more mundane, you
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: know what I'm saying. And then we we the culture,
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying, Like he's also a producer
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: or a mirror and and you know I used to
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: rap back in the day, so we're doing the same
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: format like dope beats. You know what I'm saying, My
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: dope edits with the with the videos I'm rocking, you know,
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: Breads and Levens whatever Jay's, you know, and people really
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: like the style, like damn, damn you're working out in Jay's.
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: I'm like, they're just sneakiss bro, you know what I'm saying,
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: Like because they are to me, you know what I mean.
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: But but anyway, just like how y'all was, y'all are
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: presenting you know, financial information, the things that you is
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: normally corporate guys talking like this. It's the culture, you
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: know what I'm saying. And here it is. I'm like,
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: prior to me, like training videos is like the tank stops,
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying, the baggy Yeah, like your scapula,
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: and it's like, what the fuck is the scapula?
- 1:03:47Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: So well, our energy is fun, is dope, it's fast cuts,
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: it's dope beats. It's like you're being entertained as well
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: as and and keep in mind, it wasn't just fluff.
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: Is I'm the reason I able to sell so much
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: and connect with my audience because from day one I'm
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: explaining everything in the videos very comprehensively, breaking down the
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: method to the madness, you know what I mean. So,
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: but there were I remember a girl in particular shoot
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: because back then, you know, everybody were probably all around
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: twenty thirty thousand followers, but I had YouTube and no
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: one had YouTube, right everybody's Instagram. And we were walking
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: the expo. My other brother T yeah, I met him yesterday.
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: He was operating the board, but he's also a dope
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: ass photographer and he's he's walking around with me clicking
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: pigs and my other guy with the videographer at the
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: expo and she's like, what are you? What are you
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: like famous or something like what is this? You got
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: your own paparazzi like, yeah, you're funny. Like a year later,
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: she's like, he might tell me about that YouTube thing,
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: tell me more about that, you know what I'm saying.
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: And she's she's kind of like blurred away in obsecurity
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: like so many others, you know. So it's like, you know,
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: people can make fun or think something that's silly, Like
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: it's a lot of you know, and YouTube. You don't
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: make money in the beginning, you know what I mean.
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: But when that money start rolling in, it's rolling. But
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: what's better than that is you're getting paid to promote
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: your other businesses. You know what I'm saying, You're getting
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: paid to promote your shit. I turned down all the
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: brand deals I take. I got maybe one right now,
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying, Like, nah, I'm cool because
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: I would see when I was coming up, seeing cats
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: selling dog food or what. I'm like, you know what
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: I'm saying, What do they have to do with you?
- 1:05:37Speaker 5: Like?
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying. So I only do things
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: that I like or that I could get a piece of.
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: I'm like, I don't even want the monthly. I want
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: a piece of the business. I like this. If I'm
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: a part of it, Like I'm you know, it's gonna
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: work out. I'm gonna do a lot more than what
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: I can do if I'm just getting paid by you guys.
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying. So you know I asked
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: for equity. You know I'm in and typically you're not
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: going to see me pushing something that I don't have
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: ownership in, or if I do, it's gonna be a
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: hefty bag.
- 1:06:08Speaker 5: It's paluable less.
- 1:06:10Speaker 3: Let me ask you this as far as the well,
- 1:06:13Speaker 3: how much do they paying them on for the mail
- 1:06:14Speaker 3: plan the mail prep? People like, how many? How much
- 1:06:18Speaker 3: do you charge? What's the Yeah, what's the subscription? Yeah,
- 1:06:21Speaker 3: it's all over the place, because you, depending on you
- 1:06:23Speaker 3: could do two meals a day, you could do five
- 1:06:25Speaker 3: meals a day. So it's it's all over. It's the premium.
- 1:06:28Speaker 3: What's the premium? I allowed to look it up.
- 1:06:30Speaker 5: I don't know, and he says it's ala carte. Would
- 1:06:32Speaker 5: it be bought the food you select as well?
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: Yeah, So let's say for your protein sources, you want
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: bison patties or salmon file AT's you know what I'm saying,
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: Or you know, for your cars, it could be white rice,
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: they'd be brown rice. It could be kin wa, vegetables,
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: you know, any assortment of vegetables, breakfast stuff, hard boiled eggs,
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: oat meal. It's so many ways of skinning on there.
- 1:06:54Speaker 3: So content as far as like shooting your content. I
- 1:06:59Speaker 3: know you just spoke about it, but have you evolved
- 1:07:03Speaker 3: with the times as far as like now people's on
- 1:07:05Speaker 3: TikTok doing stuff on TikTok and just you know, like
- 1:07:08Speaker 3: Instagram rails, How has that change or have you just
- 1:07:12Speaker 3: stayed consistent and just them what you have to continued to, Oh.
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: Yeah, I evolved. So reels is my vibe right now,
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: you know. But I just I'm learning that the algorithm
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: gods are now favoring the carousels video swipes. So I
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: got a bunch loaded up. We're gonna start doing that,
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: you know. But reels caught on for me pretty good.
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: It's interesting because you'll be doing something a certain way,
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: then it stops working. Like when I would post videos
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: to Instagram, they were working, then they stopped. Then igtv
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: working great, now they don't work now. It's the reels
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: is killing it right now. But I hear that the
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: carousel swipes for videos is the next wave.
- 1:07:57Speaker 3: It's just like five videos in the carousel instead of
- 1:07:59Speaker 3: a five minute video on our.
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: G TV right right, I g TV is not working
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: for me at least no more. But it used to
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: be great. So so yeah, so I'm not one of
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: those people, know this, this is the way I've always
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: done it. I'm not that guy. I don't I'm not
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: married to any particular method. You know, I'm weird what works?
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: You know what I mean? TikTok, I didn't you know
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: I have a TikTok, but I don't really use it. Yeah,
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: because I do the same thing on Instagram with the reels,
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: the TikTok style stuff, you know what I mean. So
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: your purpose ground is a bully. They just come to
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: take everybody, like like Snapchat used to do Snapchat until
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: they did the stories.
- 1:08:39Speaker 6: Like Facebook just did the They got the audio platform.
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: Now yeah Twitter does as well.
- 1:08:45Speaker 5: Twitter has it and you can.
- 1:08:46Speaker 3: Remix reels now on Instagram. Bully, it's always it's like
- 1:08:51Speaker 3: the biggest. You got to stay up to date, every
- 1:08:53Speaker 3: biggest bully, the biggest that's a Facebook.
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: Zuckerberg is a beast different level. But it's like you
- 1:08:59Speaker 1: get to a point where like, all right, enough is like,
- 1:09:01Speaker 1: what am I doing here? You know, I'm running businesses
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: as well as being an influencer, so you know, I'm
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: not doing the most day. But I love doing content though.
- 1:09:13Speaker 6: So we got we got four businesses that we named.
- 1:09:16Speaker 5: Did we miss any Now?
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: You got everything except for the online stuff, you know.
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: So we're online as far as digital. I sell e books,
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: I have online training, which is a recurring and I
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: also do my challenges, which is the biggest what's your
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: deal with that? Yeah? The Challenges is a thirty day
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: transformation and listen, the results don't lie. My first time,
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: my first month doing it, I didn't know what to expect,
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: but listen, I was pleasantly surprised with the outcome of
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: people's results. I was blowing away, like, yo, the ship works,
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: you know what I mean. So we've been doing it consistently.
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: So we're going into the next season right now, which
- 1:09:59Speaker 1: is season seven. Team. It's fucking shirt season. You know
- 1:10:02Speaker 1: something's coming up, shirt season? You know what I mean.
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: You feel me? You feel me so so good. So like, listen,
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: I don't plan on wearing a shirt at all past me.
- 1:10:13Speaker 5: So it is that's how you are, That's how you're feeling.
- 1:10:15Speaker 1: That's how I'm feeling, you know what I mean, just
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: just shirtless to the supermarket. Yeah, asked me to put
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: it on. If you don't say they tell me put
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: it on, I put it on. Shirt that's negotiable. But
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: now it's a it's a it's a Listen. This is
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: one of the things I'm most proud of because, listen, people,
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: There's people that I've seen in gyms in different places
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: I've lived very consistently for years. They never look any
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: different or they look like a gaining weight or whatever.
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: Just because one goes to the gym doesn't mean they
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: know what they're doing or they're doing something that's gonna work.
- 1:10:59Speaker 1: It's going to be a fan you know. So I
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: this is my feel you know, this is what I do.
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: And I don't do anything that I don't think I'm
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: going to be good at, right. So I'm good at this,
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: you know. I'm good at guiding people and helping them,
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: showing them how strong they're on, how how much they
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: can do right. And I also try to, you know,
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: get into the psychology of it as well versus just
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: you know, you gotta be healthy and lose weight, like
- 1:11:26Speaker 1: let's get into it. So, and a lot they get
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: a lot of this information from me, like in my
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: private group, because I give them a lot of time,
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: you know, So and talk to people. I talk to
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: a lot of people on a one on one basis.
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: Like you know, a lot of people may think that
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: how I spend my time some time is inefficient, but
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: it's not inefficient to me. If I'm talking to someone
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: that really fucking loves the content that I put out
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: and I make them feel a certain way, and if
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: I can make their day by talking to them, I'm
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: doing it. I don't give a fuck like I'm doing it.
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: That's a vibe me. I care about people to that extent,
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: and I'm honored if someone even wants to talk to me.
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying, and it's important to them.
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: Let's do it. Let's walk. So I talk to a
- 1:12:09Speaker 1: lot of people, man, and you know, I know that. See,
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: I know that the things that are knocking people off
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: are things that we can control. I know that telling
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: somebody that is one thing, but really having a conversation
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: with them, like trying to get through that, I'm like
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: like no, no, no, I'm serious. And then you know, people
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: have a lot of excuses, a lot of excuses, and
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: I'm like, there's some time taking a back a little
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: bit because I'm kind of like it. I don't care
- 1:12:40Speaker 1: what else. I don't care because there's nothing, it's nothing
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: more important than any of ours healths. Yeah, but I
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: gotta go to work because my kids. If you die,
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: if you're unhealthy, you can't work. You ain't taking care
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: of nobody or nothing. You know what I'm saying. And
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: what's more important than you to you, It's got to
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: be your health, right, mental, physical, spiritual that So you know,
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: I'm big on trying to, you know, get that onto people.
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: But anyway, back to the challenge. Provide a thirty day
- 1:13:09Speaker 1: transformation and I give them workouts every day they have
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: They'll receive a PDF, but they click each exercise. I'm
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: doing it or it's not just me. I have other people, women,
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: I have dudes, other people doing it as well. So
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: they see different body types doing it and they see
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: exactly what to do, how much time to break all
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: of that. See everyone, The ingredients are not unique, right,
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: The actual exercises are not unique. The recipe is unique,
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: just like life on earth. Right, all of the elements
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: that create life, that makes life what we know. It
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: is in an abundance in the universe's everywhere. But the
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: recipe is perfect here for life, right, my recipe without
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: for shred well, my challenges is perfect. It works because
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: the people that do the challenge, they all they that
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: do from A to Z all thirty days. Shit, even
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: people do seventy five percent of it. Man gangs. You
- 1:14:05Speaker 1: know what I'm saying, life changing and some of the
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: transformations is shocking, you know what I mean. So, and
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: you'll have people all that's fake and then the person
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: who they're talking about, Nope, it's me. Come to my
- 1:14:16Speaker 1: Instagram and see, you know what I'm saying, I'm not
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: a person that you know. I see. We're in the
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: culture now where people are asking for receipts as they should.
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: I'm not mad at that. You want proof they got
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: it with mine. I don't have those issues where people
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: are like, yeah, I don't know about him, though, I
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: don't know. I don't know anybody. He's gotten in shape
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: from his shit. You know what I'm saying. People get
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: right with my shit, so and you know it is
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: what it is. So they get that we give them.
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: We have software to where they enter and all of
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: their information, and we give them their macro nutrients for
- 1:14:49Speaker 1: this particular challenge because it's not going to be the
- 1:14:52Speaker 1: same for everyone obviously, and they have different types of
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: meal plans to choose from ketogenic intimated, just your traditional
- 1:15:02Speaker 1: clean diet, vegan diet. You get to choose, like if
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: you've never done something, hell try it now, you know
- 1:15:09Speaker 1: what I mean. And what they're getting is, let's say
- 1:15:14Speaker 1: they don't even care about winning a challenge. They just
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: want some training online training or coaching and nutrition. You
- 1:15:21Speaker 1: can't buy either one of those for the price that
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: we charge for Alpha Shred, you know what I'm saying.
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: So it's a lot of the people they do it
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: every challenge. They stay on.
- 1:15:30Speaker 6: Scot that you can win the challenge. So that was
- 1:15:32Speaker 6: the incentive in winning the challenge.
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: Looking getting sexy, you know what I'm saying, looking good.
- 1:15:37Speaker 1: But also you know, the winners win ten thousand dollars
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: cash and not prizes. A lot of people cash prizes.
- 1:15:43Speaker 1: It be like T shirts and supplements worth this, but
- 1:15:46Speaker 1: they're getting money, you know what I'm saying. Cash. Yeah,
- 1:15:49Speaker 1: here's the beauty of this. You could do it in
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: your living room. There's no equipment needed. You can add
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: like some dumbbells or resistance bands, but it's not necessary,
- 1:15:57Speaker 1: so there's no excuses for anybody. I'm busy, cool, do
- 1:16:03Speaker 1: it as prescribers take you. Twenty twenty five minutes. The
- 1:16:05Speaker 1: workouta workout.
- 1:16:06Speaker 5: Twenty five minutes.
- 1:16:08Speaker 3: My thing is I got I just got to get
- 1:16:09Speaker 3: my cardio back.
- 1:16:10Speaker 1: This helps, This helps. So then I have people that
- 1:16:14Speaker 1: have said, yeah, I'll start when I get my cardio back.
- 1:16:16Speaker 1: I'm like, nah, this how you get your cardio back?
- 1:16:18Speaker 1: What's up y'all? Boy? Mike Ros, Troy Rashad and I've
- 1:16:21Speaker 1: been sitting down talking about how to present you guys
- 1:16:24Speaker 1: with the most value possible. You want to be financially fit,
- 1:16:27Speaker 1: but you need to be physically fit as well. So
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: when we have something for you call Alpha Shred thirty
- 1:16:31Speaker 1: Day Challenge. This is a thirty day challenge in which
- 1:16:33Speaker 1: we or myself will give you guys thirty days of training.

- 1:16:39Speaker 1: video with me and others showing you exactly what to do.
- 1:16:42Speaker 1: No guests, what short intense workouts. You don't need a
- 1:16:45Speaker 1: gym for this. Now you'll also have nutrition programs specifically
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: to your macro nutrient needs. Will give you four different
- 1:16:51Speaker 1: types of mil plans to choose from, you know, intermitted basting, vegan,
- 1:16:55Speaker 1: and traditional clean eating. The winner of the challenge for
- 1:16:59Speaker 1: men and women getting ten thousand dollars caps. You can
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: take it, invest or do whatever you want to do
- 1:17:04Speaker 1: with it. All you got to do is go to

- 1:17:23Speaker 5: June seventh.
- 1:17:24Speaker 1: You know how we play.
- 1:17:25Speaker 5: Don't wait, don't hesitate, head over to alpha eyl dot
- 1:17:27Speaker 5: com and start. You're finished juring you with us. Now
- 1:17:30Speaker 5: use the train together.
- 1:17:30Speaker 1: Man.
- 1:17:31Speaker 5: Yeah, you still come to my house at six in
- 1:17:33Speaker 5: the morning.
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: But that's that's a vibro, my whole family. And it's
- 1:17:36Speaker 1: best when it's like it's dope, when you have two
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: people holding each other accountable, you know, friendly competition. But
- 1:17:42Speaker 1: also come on, man, come on, let's go, let's go,
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: you know, and I scale it in a certain way
- 1:17:47Speaker 1: to where you know, it's short, short intervals, short breaks,
- 1:17:51Speaker 1: and I get people tips on like all right, if
- 1:17:52Speaker 1: you got to take a break, stop, take three beats
- 1:17:56Speaker 1: and go right back at it. You know, I talk
- 1:17:59Speaker 1: people through it, you know what I'm saying. So it's
- 1:18:02Speaker 1: it's a dope vibe and it's a dope community too. Yeah.
- 1:18:05Speaker 3: Yeah, that's dope, bro. So what's what's what's next for you?
- 1:18:10Speaker 1: Yeah? Man, just uh, you know, it's some decisions to
- 1:18:13Speaker 1: be made. Right now, we're being courted by vcs trying
- 1:18:17Speaker 1: to acquire one of the businesses, and you know that's
- 1:18:21Speaker 1: always for me, the end goals to get that big chunk.
- 1:18:25Speaker 1: You know, a big chunk is different than installments, you
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: know what I'm saying. So, but you know this is
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: for Ambrosia. But we're still growing so fast, you know
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: what I mean. So for those not familiar with that
- 1:18:39Speaker 1: process of selling a company a business, you know, it's
- 1:18:44Speaker 1: it's based on a multiple on top of your ebit
- 1:18:48Speaker 1: based on a twelve month period of actual profits, right,
- 1:18:53Speaker 1: And it's like, yo, when we first started the negotiations,
- 1:18:56Speaker 1: which was not that long ago, a couple of three
- 1:18:58Speaker 1: months or so four months, the sales are so much
- 1:19:02Speaker 1: crazier now, It's like, yeah, y'all would be getting me
- 1:19:05Speaker 1: at a discount right now just now. Yeah, we gotta,
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: we gotta double, Yeah, we gotta. Let's revisit that, you
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: know what I'm saying. So, you know, but the cool
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: thing about it is they see it and they keep
- 1:19:17Speaker 1: trying to make adjustments to make it sweeter. So I
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: just like being in this position, you know. So to
- 1:19:23Speaker 1: answer your question right now, Uh, one thing that we
- 1:19:27Speaker 1: are doing is I want to incorporate tech with what
- 1:19:29Speaker 1: I'm doing. I have a lot of friends in fintech
- 1:19:32Speaker 1: and in the tech industry, and that's just where I mean,
- 1:19:36Speaker 1: we're all we're there, you know. So, but I want
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: to incorporate it with what I'm doing. So we do
- 1:19:43Speaker 1: have an app that's under development. It's almost done to
- 1:19:47Speaker 1: where it will house my challenges and the online training
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: all one so they'll be buying one thing and that
- 1:19:53Speaker 1: will be recurring and that's going to be just a
- 1:19:56Speaker 1: game changer, you know. So, and everything that I do,
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: we put out the team. We have a very smart team,
- 1:20:03Speaker 1: just dope people, and it's going to be of the
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: highest level of quality. No matter how long this has
- 1:20:09Speaker 1: to take me, I'm not rushing anything. So so yeah,
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: So that's one thing in the near future that I'm
- 1:20:15Speaker 1: working on is an app, my own app for the
- 1:20:19Speaker 1: online coaching and the the challenges, and I will be
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: able to present this to other people who, you know,
- 1:20:27Speaker 1: other trainers and coaches that want to have a home
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: for their on a platform for their online coaching, and
- 1:20:33Speaker 1: and if they want to do challenges, stuff that they're
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: not even doing yet, they'll see how much money they
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: can make because there's other companies out there that do it.
- 1:20:40Speaker 1: And it's shit. It's horrible, you know what I mean.
- 1:20:42Speaker 1: They don't care, they don't care. They just want to
- 1:20:45Speaker 1: sign up, get people on, you know what I'm saying.
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: They get their little piece, but the programming is horrible.
- 1:20:51Speaker 1: It's just low level shit, you know what I mean.
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: Nobody came out with the high level shit yet, but
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: I'm bringing it. So so that's that's one thing I'm
- 1:20:59Speaker 1: working on. I'm a legacy dude. I like, I like
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: to leave my If I'm in a space, I'm gonna
