- 0:04Speaker 1: NFL Game Deview is a production of the NFL in
- 0:06Speaker 1: partnership with iHeartRadio.
- 0:13Speaker 2: Everybody, Welcome to Game Debut present about Mercedes Benz, Patrick
- 0:16Speaker 2: laybaumb back here with Greg Rosenthal and Cynthia Freeland. The
- 0:19Speaker 2: presence have all been opened, the trash has not quite
- 0:22Speaker 2: been thrown away. But we've almost got the playoff picture
- 0:25Speaker 2: completely crystallized. We just need a few more things.
- 0:27Speaker 3: Yeah, Christmas was, you know, somewhat of a big deal,
- 0:30Speaker 3: but our picks race is really what America is talking
- 0:33Speaker 3: about right now.
- 0:34Speaker 4: Clearly, just start bragging.
- 0:35Speaker 5: Just bragging we're tied. That doesn't mean anything.
- 0:38Speaker 2: Yeah, there it is. Why don't we just go ahead
- 0:40Speaker 2: and the plow crowns to Cynthia and Greg, who are
- 0:44Speaker 2: exactly we've played all of these football games. They have
- 0:47Speaker 2: the same exact record, one hundred and sixty nine and
- 0:50Speaker 2: seventy one. Cynthia has caught up to Greg, and that
- 0:53Speaker 2: puts me in second place in our big Standing's hoay
- 0:56Speaker 2: as we take a look at the AFC playoff picture
- 0:59Speaker 2: with the Kansas City Chiefs have gone ahead and gotten
- 1:01Speaker 2: a bye. And this Saturday we've got a trip well
- 1:04Speaker 2: header exclusively on NFL Network Chargers Patriots at one o'clock Eastern,
- 1:09Speaker 2: Broncos Bengals at four Eastern, Cardinals Rams at eight Eastern Saturday,
- 1:13Speaker 2: December twenty eighth, only on NFL Network. Streaming on NFL Plus.
- 1:16Speaker 2: Subscription is required for NFL Plus. Let's dive into those
- 1:21Speaker 2: Saturday games, starting with the Chargers. In the Patriots, the
- 1:24Speaker 2: Bolts can clinch a playoff berth with a win. Did
- 1:27Speaker 2: they get that win on Saturday?
- 1:28Speaker 4: They absolutely do.
- 1:29Speaker 3: I think it's gonna be a fun game between two
- 1:31Speaker 3: of my favorite quarterbacks to watch Chargers win twenty six
- 1:34Speaker 3: to twenty. And when you watch Drake May and Justin
- 1:37Speaker 3: Herber on the field together, you're seeing one as a
- 1:40Speaker 3: younger version of the other. Yes, Drake May as a
- 1:43Speaker 3: rookie reminds me more of Justin Herber than I expected it.
- 1:47Speaker 4: Physically, they're similar.
- 1:48Speaker 3: Drake May a little more aggressive as a runner, but
- 1:51Speaker 3: what surprises me is how much he reminds me of
- 1:55Speaker 3: Justin Herber as a decision maker. The last five or
- 1:57Speaker 3: six weeks, Drake May has been very careful with the ball,
- 2:01Speaker 3: going through his reads, making safe throws. And that really
- 2:05Speaker 3: wasn't the word on Drake May. Coming out of college
- 2:08Speaker 3: at UNC, Justin Herbert. You basically if you come up
- 2:11Speaker 3: with a quarterback in a lab, he's going to look
- 2:13Speaker 3: a lot like Justin Herbert, with that body and the
- 2:15Speaker 3: physicality and the arm strength. And yet he is a
- 2:18Speaker 3: very careful quarterback. And Drake May has learned he doesn't
- 2:22Speaker 3: have the best team around him. He's not putting up
- 2:24Speaker 3: the same numbers that Herbert did as a rookie.
- 2:26Speaker 4: Those are Herbert rookie games we're looking at.
- 2:29Speaker 3: But to me, they're both going to be part of
- 2:31Speaker 3: our lives for the next decade plus. So, yes, the
- 2:34Speaker 3: charters win, but Patriots fans they have a lot to
- 2:36Speaker 3: be thankful for.
- 2:37Speaker 6: I like that comp a lot, and I'm just going
- 2:39Speaker 6: to say my score is pretty similar to yours. I
- 2:41Speaker 6: have twenty three to eighteen. I think it's going to
- 2:44Speaker 6: be a very fascinating game through the air as well.
- 2:47Speaker 6: And I want to point out another rookie, and that's
- 2:49Speaker 6: Lad McConkey. We didn't know a head of the season
- 2:52Speaker 6: who is Justin Herbert going to throw the ball to
- 2:55Speaker 6: reliably And the answer has been number fifteen out of Georgia.
- 2:59Speaker 6: When I'm watching these games, and yes, you're looking at
- 3:02Speaker 6: Justin Herbert's numbers this year and you're saying taking the
- 3:04Speaker 6: fewest passing attempts that we've seen he's had in terms
- 3:07Speaker 6: of like numbers per game, it's down. But if you
- 3:10Speaker 6: look at per throw averages and his passer rating when
- 3:14Speaker 6: completing passes, this is a good thing in large part
- 3:17Speaker 6: because of how they're setting him up for success in
- 3:20Speaker 6: the passing game with lad McConkey. So he's not even
- 3:23Speaker 6: getting any shine for a potential of offensive Rookie of
- 3:26Speaker 6: the Year, but we love him and at least he
- 3:28Speaker 6: should be in the conversation.
- 3:29Speaker 3: He's on my ballot. You can vote for five guys.
- 3:31Speaker 3: He's like third or four.
- 3:32Speaker 5: Right, right, So there you go.
- 3:34Speaker 2: Yeah, and I'm going to vote for Cynthia and ire
- 3:36Speaker 2: to get some balance as just kidding.
- 3:37Speaker 4: Yeah, I went to ballot Greg's ballot.
- 3:39Speaker 5: Do I talk to about this ballot?
- 3:40Speaker 4: Really have a ballot.
- 3:42Speaker 2: We're gotta get ballots for the show. I'm looking at
- 3:45Speaker 2: a Chargers win as well, but just by two points,
- 3:48Speaker 2: because we look back at the start of the season
- 3:51Speaker 2: and things were looking great for this Chargers defense, but
- 3:54Speaker 2: in the past few games they've had issues stopping the
- 3:57Speaker 2: opposition from running the football. In fact, two of the
- 4:00Speaker 2: last five games the Chargers have seen the opponent run
- 4:03Speaker 2: for over two hundred yards, including a game which I
- 4:07Speaker 2: thought really doomed them and had some long term implications
- 4:10Speaker 2: in that loss at home against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
- 4:13Speaker 2: And now these Patriots come in, who had a lot
- 4:15Speaker 2: of success running the ball early against Buffalo, perhaps Drake Mays.
- 4:21Speaker 2: You know, he's Greg Rosenthal's one thing that matters, and
- 4:25Speaker 2: I think his team can make a push here to
- 4:28Speaker 2: beat the Chargers, but comes up late. So Patriots fans
- 4:31Speaker 2: meme away as we go. Take a look at that
- 4:34Speaker 2: playoff picture once again in the AFC, because you see
- 4:39Speaker 2: the teams in the hunt. We got a couple of
- 4:41Speaker 2: them coming up. A big matchup between the Broncos and
- 4:45Speaker 2: the Bengals Saturday right here on NFL Network for you
- 4:50Speaker 2: looking forward to that game. That where there's you see
- 4:55Speaker 2: a Broncos team that, oh my gosh, because Payton has
- 4:59Speaker 2: them as world beaters right now and the rookie quarterback
- 5:01Speaker 2: is playing so well. But then they falter a against
- 5:04Speaker 2: the Chargers. And now the Bengals come in where I
- 5:08Speaker 2: thought a few weeks ago there was no hope, but Greg,
- 5:10Speaker 2: you laid out a plan, and that plan, despite slim margins,
- 5:14Speaker 2: they do have a shot at the playoffs. I think
- 5:18Speaker 2: I've got the Bengals winning this game too. Twenty five
- 5:21Speaker 2: to twenty three a bad year for the team, but
- 5:24Speaker 2: Jamar Chase is great. He's been using so many different
- 5:27Speaker 2: spots for so many different things. They're going to score.
- 5:30Speaker 2: Currently on pace for a triple crown season. Patrickstan isn't
- 5:34Speaker 2: just locked into one spot either. Those two were going
- 5:36Speaker 2: head to head quite possibly all over the field, but
- 5:38Speaker 2: Riley Moss hasn't played since Thanksgiving. I think t Higgins
- 5:42Speaker 2: gets good looks as well here, and I think that
- 5:44Speaker 2: gives the Bengals a great shot to give themselves that
- 5:46Speaker 2: slim bit of hope.
- 5:47Speaker 6: Cynthia, Well, I mean you have more hope for the
- 5:50Speaker 6: Bengals than me, because I actually have the Bengals only
- 5:52Speaker 6: winning by one point five to twenty.
- 5:54Speaker 5: Four in this matchup.
- 5:56Speaker 6: I do actually want to talk about bo Nicks here
- 5:58Speaker 6: because something that will matter in this game is his
- 6:00Speaker 6: ability to run smartly, not just run, but run small.
- 6:04Speaker 6: Why do I say that, Well, something he's used on
- 6:07Speaker 6: forty percent of attempts has been a short pass, and
- 6:10Speaker 6: this is not an area that you want to target
- 6:12Speaker 6: the Bengals defense. We've said, and very fairly that this
- 6:15Speaker 6: is a defense you can target in many ways, but
- 6:17Speaker 6: with a short pass. They have the most interceptions on
- 6:20Speaker 6: the sub ten ten air yard pass and now Bonnicks
- 6:24Speaker 6: is going to need to use his legs instead of
- 6:26Speaker 6: use his arm in that situation to prevent any turnovers.
- 6:29Speaker 3: Yeah, Bonnicks has not been playing that well lately. I
- 6:32Speaker 3: thought he struggled against the Colts. You didn't finish off
- 6:35Speaker 3: that game against the Chargers, and yet I think he's
- 6:37Speaker 3: going to get the win. Talk about a lack of
- 6:39Speaker 3: respect from these two on the Broncos. The Broncos win
- 6:41Speaker 3: this one twenty three to twenty. Let's just scrag it
- 6:45Speaker 3: up Broncos Twitter. You're so angry all the time at everyone,
- 6:49Speaker 3: especially me. This is the respect that you've been looking for.
- 6:52Speaker 3: And it's partly because I don't respect this Bengals defense.
- 6:55Speaker 3: All season long. They've been telling us who they are,
- 6:59Speaker 3: and they are a team that gives up a lot
- 7:01Speaker 3: of big plays on the ground and through the Sean
- 7:04Speaker 3: Payton a month ago decided I'll let you switch that
- 7:09Speaker 3: TNF game so I can get extra rest in this
- 7:13Speaker 3: game against the Bengals.
- 7:14Speaker 4: He's a mad genius.
- 7:15Speaker 3: The TNF thing didn't really work out, but he does
- 7:17Speaker 3: have extra rest in this one. That Bengals defense, which
- 7:20Speaker 3: has been better lately forcing some turnovers, ultimately isn't up
- 7:25Speaker 3: to snuff. I think Sean Payton dials up some big plays,
- 7:27Speaker 3: bo Nicks has some easy passes, the running game gets
- 7:30Speaker 3: it going, and Cincinnati's two banged up.
- 7:32Speaker 4: They've told us who they are all season, and what
- 7:34Speaker 4: they are is not a playoff team.
- 7:36Speaker 2: They lose, so Greg takes the disrespect and slides it
- 7:38Speaker 2: over to the Cincinnati Bengals.
- 7:41Speaker 6: Well, my question is is we're all on the same
- 7:44Speaker 6: side if you're looking at it through the lens of
- 7:46Speaker 6: some perspective, well, and yet we're disrespectful.
- 7:49Speaker 4: Got it? You are?
- 7:50Speaker 3: When they do the standings next week, my win picking
- 7:53Speaker 3: the Broncos, right, that's what's gonna count or not.
- 7:57Speaker 2: The math on respect is within five points, whether or
- 8:00Speaker 2: not your respect. But in the Saturday night game features
- 8:03Speaker 2: one of the hottest teams in the league. Right now,
- 8:05Speaker 2: for the Saturday Night Cap on NFL Network, we have
- 8:08Speaker 2: the Cardinals in rams LA winning four straight, but they
- 8:11Speaker 2: can clinch the NFC West in part with a win.
- 8:14Speaker 2: Do they clinch.
- 8:15Speaker 6: Cynthia, Well, they win, so they do their part in
- 8:18Speaker 6: the clinching scenario twenty seven to twenty. In this matchup,
- 8:23Speaker 6: what I'm looking at on the other side is really
- 8:25Speaker 6: Kyler Murray doing a little bit too much. And that
- 8:28Speaker 6: was even before James Connor got injured, and Kyler Murray
- 8:32Speaker 6: just trying to like make something, force things to happen
- 8:35Speaker 6: as opposed to taking things when they're there. You've seen
- 8:37Speaker 6: it manifest after their buy In terms of interceptions, we
- 8:41Speaker 6: just saw a couple of them on the screen right now.
- 8:44Speaker 6: But then you're seeing it in like forcing like quick
- 8:47Speaker 6: cadence issues. That's when you see those snaps and handoffs
- 8:50Speaker 6: don't go right. When they don't go right, it's usually
- 8:53Speaker 6: something to do with communications. So in my opinion in
- 8:56Speaker 6: this matchup, I mean, especially with Jared Verse coming for
- 8:59Speaker 6: your Life and all these other guys up front for
- 9:02Speaker 6: the rams it's going to be very different. If he
- 9:04Speaker 6: tries to do it all on himself and without James Connor,
- 9:08Speaker 6: it just would to me indicate maybe a little bit
- 9:10Speaker 6: of doing too much.
- 9:11Speaker 3: Yeah, he also is without some offensive linemen. Yeah, that's
- 9:15Speaker 3: why I like just barely the Rams covering the number
- 9:18Speaker 3: twenty four to seventeen. They lost big time to the
- 9:20Speaker 3: Cardinals before, but that was a different Rams team. Now
- 9:23Speaker 3: it's Kien Williams's team. You think about the Rams and
- 9:26Speaker 3: you think Pooka and Cooper Cup and Matthew Stafford. No,
- 9:29Speaker 3: it's really a run first team and Kyron Williams has
- 9:32Speaker 3: turned into the centerpiece of their offense. He sees a
- 9:37Speaker 3: hole and he gets a little extra. If they block
- 9:40Speaker 3: him for four yards, he gets six or seven. They
- 9:42Speaker 3: block him for two or three yards, he gets five.
- 9:45Speaker 3: I know he's not there with all the explosive runs,
- 9:48Speaker 3: but if you look at success rate, he is right there.
- 9:51Speaker 3: Over the last two months with the very best runners
- 9:53Speaker 3: in the league. They are a great running attack. Sean
- 9:56Speaker 3: mcvagh dials it up and they get some revenge for
- 9:58Speaker 3: that blowout that the Cardinals gave him early in the season.
- 10:01Speaker 2: Yeah, it feels like that blowout was an entirely different
- 10:03Speaker 2: in a f the Rams were playing in that game
- 10:05Speaker 2: without Pooka and Akua. I've got them winning this game,
- 10:08Speaker 2: but just about one point nineteen to eighteen. I do
- 10:11Speaker 2: want to look at this Cardinals passing game over the
- 10:14Speaker 2: past few weeks. It's fallen off of the planet late
- 10:17Speaker 2: the season. The last seven losses, they've averaged just over
- 10:21Speaker 2: sixteen points, and since Week nine, Marvin Harrison Junior has
- 10:25Speaker 2: only gone over fifty nine yards in a game once
- 10:28Speaker 2: and in that game he had sixty yards. He's still
- 10:30Speaker 2: getting the targets, but the passing game is having real problems.
- 10:34Speaker 2: For a team with glaring problems to beat the Rams
- 10:36Speaker 2: right now, it's very difficult. The Rams could beat anybody,
- 10:40Speaker 2: but I think in this divisional game it's close. But
- 10:43Speaker 2: as you heard, the Beautiful Children, it is a name.
- 10:46Speaker 2: We are all aboard the Los Angeles Rams winning. To
- 10:49Speaker 2: wrap up at Saturday tripleheader on NFL Network, It's time
- 10:53Speaker 2: for the Drive to Excellence presented by Mercedes Benz, a
- 10:56Speaker 2: monster matchup between the Packers and the Vikings, both teams
- 11:00Speaker 2: already heading into the playoffs. Minnesota's still in the running
- 11:03Speaker 2: for the one season. Winning this game could set up
- 11:05Speaker 2: a huge matchup next week. Who wins this time?
- 11:08Speaker 3: Greg I like the Packers to finally get a signature
- 11:11Speaker 3: win in this season. They've lost to only great teams
- 11:15Speaker 3: like the Vikings, but this time it's Jordan Love who
- 11:17Speaker 3: gets to win thirty to twenty seven on the road.
- 11:20Speaker 3: When you dive deep into the numbers, this is one
- 11:22Speaker 3: of the best offenses in the league by any metric
- 11:25Speaker 3: you can come up with. And Jordan Love has turned
- 11:28Speaker 3: into one of the most efficient quarterbacks in the league,
- 11:30Speaker 3: in part because the running game sets him up to
- 11:32Speaker 3: not have to do too much.
- 11:34Speaker 4: But when he does, he is going deep.
- 11:36Speaker 3: The throws are pretty and I think to beat the
- 11:39Speaker 3: Minnesota Vikings, you need to have a quarterback who can
- 11:41Speaker 3: stand back there and make tough throws. That's what Jordan
- 11:45Speaker 3: Love has now been doing over the last two months.
- 11:48Speaker 3: He's really become one of the best quarterbacks in the league.
- 11:51Speaker 3: He's aided by a great play caller. There's very little
- 11:54Speaker 3: separating these two teams, but sometimes you look at it
- 11:57Speaker 3: and you just think, oh, they're gonna win one of these.
- 11:59Speaker 3: They can't just keep losing these close games to good teams.
- 12:02Speaker 4: I think they pull this one off.
- 12:03Speaker 6: Well, I have a closer game than you, but I
- 12:05Speaker 6: have Green Bay winning this one twenty three to twenty two.
- 12:08Speaker 6: I'm going to show you some very unsexy footage. If
- 12:11Speaker 6: you are a fantasy football player, this is Josh Jacobs blocking.
- 12:15Speaker 5: Are you ready for it?
- 12:15Speaker 6: Because this running back is very dynamic in terms of
- 12:19Speaker 6: stopping guys from getting pressure on his quarterback. Why is
- 12:22Speaker 6: it such a big deal to have him block, Well,
- 12:25Speaker 6: we know that this team likes to blitz and the
- 12:27Speaker 6: last time out, which was a billion years ago, back
- 12:29Speaker 6: in Week four, he did throw three picks against this
- 12:32Speaker 6: team and two of them were when they were blitzing. Now,
- 12:35Speaker 6: what's the difference over the past five games? Jordan Love
- 12:38Speaker 6: zero interceptions. What is one of the differences, Well, it's
- 12:41Speaker 6: the production, it's the versatility, and it's how Josh Jacobs
- 12:45Speaker 6: has been utilized all of those things, especially unsexy blocking,
- 12:50Speaker 6: which I think is very sexy. No, Now, that to
- 12:53Speaker 6: me is the big difference in this matchup.
- 12:56Speaker 2: I have a very close score as well. The differences
- 12:59Speaker 2: I've got the Minnesota Vikings. I believe in the Packers.
- 13:02Speaker 2: They were my pick to go in the Super Bowl.
- 13:04Speaker 2: Josh Jacobs powering his way to a Packers win is
- 13:07Speaker 2: something I can easily see, but I keep doubting Sam
- 13:10Speaker 2: Donald and he continues to be successful, especially on third downs.
- 13:15Speaker 2: Let's just watch Sam make plays well third down against
- 13:19Speaker 2: really good teams. This year, He's in like a burrow
- 13:22Speaker 2: in lamarka category on third and long since Week seven,
- 13:27Speaker 2: and if they even get there. Here's the thing with
- 13:30Speaker 2: Sam Donald this season. He's throwing past the sticks on
- 13:32Speaker 2: forty five percent of his attempts. He's not getting hidden.
- 13:36Speaker 2: Kevin O'Connell's not doing some quarterback magic. This is just
- 13:39Speaker 2: saying the Sam Donald. And So I've picked the Vikings,
- 13:42Speaker 2: and I've picked against the Vikings and loss. I'm gonna
- 13:45Speaker 2: stop doing that. It's a really good football team with
- 13:48Speaker 2: a good quarterback, and so I'm all alone, which is
- 13:51Speaker 2: a place I'm very comfortable being. So the Lions get
- 13:53Speaker 2: a shot at redemption Monday Night against the forty nine
- 13:56Speaker 2: Ers Detroit, currently the one seed in the NFC. Does
- 13:58Speaker 2: Dan Campbell get his revenge against the Niner Cynthia?
- 14:02Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 14:02Speaker 6: I mean I don't know if it's revenge because it
- 14:04Speaker 6: feels like it's like such a different situation. I mean,
- 14:07Speaker 6: both teams are really struggling with injuries, the Niners all
- 14:09Speaker 6: season long, the Lions more recently. But I have Lions
- 14:12Speaker 6: winning by three points twenty six to twenty three when
- 14:16Speaker 6: I'm looking at this collapse last year, and this was
- 14:18Speaker 6: actually the tape that I chose. When you talk about
- 14:21Speaker 6: what Dan Campbell does really well, his entire personality becomes
- 14:25Speaker 6: this team. And if you don't think he's using this
- 14:27Speaker 6: as motivation, if they've not rewatched this three hundred times
- 14:30Speaker 6: over the past week to try to make sure that
- 14:33Speaker 6: they have every t crossed and I dotted, you don't
- 14:37Speaker 6: know Dan Campbell. And I think the amount of caffeine
- 14:39Speaker 6: the man is going to consume between last year and
- 14:42Speaker 6: this year, the total is going to be something that
- 14:45Speaker 6: pays off in dividends here. Now, do I love what's
- 14:47Speaker 6: going out of the defense, No, But I think this
- 14:50Speaker 6: is a situation where, given the injury report for the Niners,
- 14:53Speaker 6: this is an opportunity for some of the guys who
- 14:56Speaker 6: we may not know, not the household names as a
- 14:58Speaker 6: Detroit Lions defense, to really step up. And we know
- 15:00Speaker 6: they're going to blitz on every single freaking down and
- 15:03Speaker 6: that's going to be really hard with this old Lion.
- 15:05Speaker 3: So banged up it is in I think the Lions
- 15:08Speaker 3: offense is in such good shape to put a big
- 15:10Speaker 3: point totals and just you know, on defense, don't let
- 15:13Speaker 3: the ball bounce off your face. The Lions win this
- 15:15Speaker 3: game thirty one to seventies go. If we're going all revenge,
- 15:18Speaker 3: it's not even gonna be close.
- 15:19Speaker 4: I had this.
- 15:20Speaker 3: Whole package, you know, with smart football points. And then
- 15:23Speaker 3: I heard Teddy Bridgewater was signing with the Lions, and
- 15:25Speaker 3: I said, let's get Teddy into the show because I've
- 15:29Speaker 3: run some next Greg's stats here and the Lions were
- 15:32Speaker 3: close to having the best vibes in the league before
- 15:35Speaker 3: adding Teddy Bridgewater. They have rocketed to the top of
- 15:38Speaker 3: the charts. You add Teddy Bridgewater's leadership, his vibes, his
- 15:43Speaker 3: high school state championship that he just won in Florida.
- 15:47Speaker 3: He's gonna just give that little extra juice. This is
- 15:50Speaker 3: a super Bowl caliber team. This forty nine Ers team
- 15:53Speaker 3: is all banged up. They are not ready to compete
- 15:55Speaker 3: in this one.
- 15:55Speaker 2: Yeah's too, Danamous, I've got the Lions winning it. My
- 15:58Speaker 2: score twenty seven to twenty a touchdown difference for this
- 16:02Speaker 2: one where it's a shit Late in this season, because
- 16:06Speaker 2: especially in the fantasy world, we were wondering where Sam
- 16:08Speaker 2: Laporta at the start of the season. Well, he's on
- 16:11Speaker 2: the receiving end of a lot of Jared Goff passes.
- 16:13Speaker 2: His target share decline from his rookie season, but the
- 16:16Speaker 2: last three weeks he's gotten twenty four targets. That's more
- 16:19Speaker 2: targets than he did in the first eight weeks combined.
- 16:22Speaker 2: A big part of things. I think he probably gets
- 16:25Speaker 2: in the end zone as well as the Lions. They
- 16:27Speaker 2: don't get revenge, but they're gonna get revenge on the planet,
- 16:31Speaker 2: perhaps with a trophy in a game. Let's go Cynthia
- 16:36Speaker 2: doesn't talk about coming up, folks. Michael Pennix Junior has
- 16:39Speaker 2: the Dirty Birds back in first place in the NFC South,
- 16:42Speaker 2: but now he's going to DC to take on Jayden
- 16:44Speaker 2: and the Carniac Commanders. The playoffs are on the line.
- 16:47Speaker 2: Which rookie phenom gets it done Sunday night, we'll tell you.
- 16:51Speaker 2: Coming up next are Jayden Daniels and the Commanders coming
- 17:00Speaker 2: off that crazy ending against the Eagles. They're playing host
- 17:03Speaker 2: to Michael penn Junior and the Falcons Sunday night. Which
- 17:06Speaker 2: rookie quarterback gets a win.
- 17:08Speaker 5: I'm gonna go with Jaden Daniels.
- 17:10Speaker 6: Michael Pennis had a really nice outing last week, but
- 17:13Speaker 6: the guy who's been doing it all season long, he gets.
- 17:16Speaker 5: The win here twenty eight to twenty two.
- 17:18Speaker 6: I'm probably this offseason going to have to go back
- 17:21Speaker 6: and make a new metric because we now have reached
- 17:23Speaker 6: a tipping point in the NFL of quarterbacks who not
- 17:26Speaker 6: just run or pass but also throw on the run,
- 17:29Speaker 6: and now throw on the run and then go backwards
- 17:31Speaker 6: about all these crazy things, and that just changes the
- 17:34Speaker 6: way defenses have to play.
- 17:36Speaker 2: You.
- 17:36Speaker 5: Yes, we've seen in an uptick.
- 17:37Speaker 6: In efficiency from the Falcons defense in terms of generating
- 17:40Speaker 6: more pressure.
- 17:41Speaker 5: They had two turnovers last week. Pick six is nonetheless.
- 17:45Speaker 6: However, when you have to be mindful of both the
- 17:47Speaker 6: run and the pass, and the pass on the run,
- 17:50Speaker 6: then it's not going to bode well for a defense
- 17:53Speaker 6: that hasn't really been bringing a ton of heat all
- 17:55Speaker 6: season long.
- 17:56Speaker 5: I just think Jaden Daniels his.
- 17:57Speaker 6: Ability to be so multiple, like triple, not just double,
- 18:00Speaker 6: but multiple in so many ways is a little bit
- 18:03Speaker 6: more overwhelming for that defense.
- 18:04Speaker 2: Yeah, it's a difficult spot for Michael Pennock Junior to
- 18:07Speaker 2: come in and play this game, having just started one game,
- 18:10Speaker 2: going up against Jade Daniels after a whole season for
- 18:13Speaker 2: that rookie, and also this Commander's defense makes it very tough.
- 18:17Speaker 2: I've got the Commanders winning by two twenty four to
- 18:21Speaker 2: twenty two, because we can discuss the Falcons improvement on defense,
- 18:25Speaker 2: but since Week seven, the Washington Commanders have the lowest
- 18:29Speaker 2: completion percentage allowed in the entire NFL. They've forced all
- 18:33Speaker 2: these turnovers. You can see the way that dan Quinn
- 18:36Speaker 2: has got this unit playing cohesively, getting pressure on thirty
- 18:40Speaker 2: seven percent of their dropbacks. A real tough one for
- 18:42Speaker 2: Michael pennockx junor to come in here and get a
- 18:44Speaker 2: win and get a team into the playoffs.
- 18:46Speaker 3: Greg, all season long, I was fading this Falcons team.
- 18:49Speaker 3: I didn't believe in him. I didn't trust the defense,
- 18:51Speaker 3: I didn't trust the quarterback. And yet when it comes
- 18:53Speaker 3: down to it, let's just Greg it up as a
- 18:56Speaker 3: four point underdog take out Cynthia get into first place
- 19:00Speaker 3: because we got the best rookie quarterback in that game.
- 19:02Speaker 4: Okay, maybe not, but Michael Pennox.
- 19:03Speaker 3: Look at last week and I think he has more
- 19:06Speaker 3: talent around him. Watch some of these throws. He doesn't
- 19:10Speaker 3: look like a normal rookie. The ball is out on
- 19:12Speaker 3: time in rhythm outside the numbers to really good players
- 19:16Speaker 3: like Drake London and Darnell Mooney. He also is supported
- 19:19Speaker 3: by a terrific running game. I think Bajn Robinson is
- 19:22Speaker 3: the best player in this entire game. And there's just
- 19:25Speaker 3: something different about this defense. So we're watching a lot
- 19:27Speaker 3: of good Michael Pennix, he had some scrambles, that's not
- 19:30Speaker 3: what he does best, but he ultimately is going to
- 19:32Speaker 3: do enough at quarterback. And I think the team in Atlanta,
- 19:35Speaker 3: at least by these eyes are different than they were
- 19:38Speaker 3: the rest of the year.
- 19:38Speaker 4: I think they're a better team than the Commanders right now.
- 19:40Speaker 2: All right, the Falcons were able to leap frog the
- 19:42Speaker 2: Bucks in the NFC South last week. Things did not
- 19:46Speaker 2: go exactly as plan for Tampa. Monday night in Dallas,
- 19:50Speaker 2: Panthers and Bucks Carolina is like Sir Perr frisky. They
- 19:53Speaker 2: knocked the Cardinals out of the playoff contention last week.
- 19:56Speaker 2: Do the Panthers shock the Bucks here? Great?
- 19:58Speaker 4: They do not.
- 19:59Speaker 3: I like the Bucks to bounce back. They need the
- 20:01Speaker 3: game more twenty seven to twenty. I just trust that
- 20:04Speaker 3: the Bucks have better defensive players like Vita Veya. I'm
- 20:08Speaker 3: gonna use my time afforded to me just to watch
- 20:11Speaker 3: display over and over.
- 20:13Speaker 4: It's Vita Van Coverage, watch out. I mean the way
- 20:16Speaker 4: he closed ground here.
- 20:18Speaker 3: Backing up Jake Ferguson, can go win the game here?
- 20:21Speaker 4: No, it's Vita Via. I mean, they just they just
- 20:24Speaker 4: better players.
- 20:25Speaker 3: And that's the sound that he makes every time he
- 20:27Speaker 3: makes a tackle.
- 20:28Speaker 4: He just goes Vido vea.
- 20:29Speaker 3: Can you imagine how frightening that would be.
- 20:33Speaker 4: I want him and Coverage more.
- 20:34Speaker 6: Oh well, I like all that, and I even like
- 20:36Speaker 6: Tampa Bay more than you. I have twenty eight to
- 20:38Speaker 6: nineteen in this matchup. But I want to say something
- 20:40Speaker 6: nice about Chewba Hubbard because he's had a great season.
- 20:42Speaker 6: He's been forcing it a ton of mistackles, just like
- 20:45Speaker 6: Bucky Irving.
- 20:45Speaker 5: In fact, both.
- 20:46Speaker 6: Running backs in this game are really nice surprises that
- 20:50Speaker 6: we didn't have on our Bingo card ahead of the season.
- 20:53Speaker 6: So you're still gonna want to play Tuba in fantasy.
- 20:55Speaker 6: And here's some nice things that he's done. And I'm
- 20:57Speaker 6: being mean to the Panthers in terms of the score,
- 20:59Speaker 6: but I'm being nice to them in terms of talking
- 21:01Speaker 6: about how Chuba Hubbard's done well. This season, So there
- 21:03Speaker 6: we go. But both quarter are both running backs, excuse
- 21:06Speaker 6: me in this matchup, big games from both of them.
- 21:08Speaker 2: I have a Tampa Bay Buccaneers win twenty five to
- 21:11Speaker 2: twenty as well, So I guess I'm being mean to
- 21:13Speaker 2: the Panthers. But twenty five is coincidentally the number of
- 21:17Speaker 2: carries that Bucky Irving had against the Carolina Panthers the
- 21:19Speaker 2: first time those two met. What did he do with them?
- 21:22Speaker 2: He ran for one hundred and fifty two yards. He
- 21:24Speaker 2: also had thirty three yards receiving in that game. I
- 21:27Speaker 2: know Bryce and Carolina are playing very well that they'll
- 21:30Speaker 2: have to accomplish a lot to play very well against
- 21:33Speaker 2: this Bucks defense. The Bucks it feels like they just
- 21:36Speaker 2: have to hand the ball off to number seven in
- 21:38Speaker 2: this one. So yes, it is a meme. Panthers fans,
- 21:42Speaker 2: come get us, but we like you. We had you
- 21:44Speaker 2: to win against the Dallas Cowboys. That didn't necessarily work out.
- 21:48Speaker 2: The Cowboys and the Eagle ceed lamb out for the season.
- 21:51Speaker 2: Jalen Hurts left last week's lost to the Commanders Philly
- 21:54Speaker 2: hoping to have him back, not practicing up until Thursday.
- 21:58Speaker 2: At the very least, do the Birds get back on
- 22:01Speaker 2: track here, Cynthia.
- 22:02Speaker 6: Okay, so we have some if then scenarios. My answer
- 22:04Speaker 6: is yes, the Birds get back on track. If you're
- 22:06Speaker 6: looking at wins now, for the number in the win,
- 22:08Speaker 6: I have twenty eight to seventeen. If Jalen Hurts plays,
- 22:11Speaker 6: the number becomes only a four point difference if it's
- 22:13Speaker 6: Kenny Pickett. So I'm interested to see who is going
- 22:16Speaker 6: to be starting. I'm still I'm still holding out hope
- 22:19Speaker 6: for Jalen Hurts here because of this man, Saquon Barkley,
- 22:22Speaker 6: and what he's been able to do. The opportunity to
- 22:25Speaker 6: run against the Cowboys has been excellent all season long,
- 22:29Speaker 6: start to finish, and this is now a situation where
- 22:33Speaker 6: you're going to need Saquon Barkley to take over in
- 22:36Speaker 6: it and maybe more goal line carries here. If it's
- 22:39Speaker 6: not Jalen Hurts. I mean sometimes he gets down to
- 22:41Speaker 6: the one and they just give it to Jalen Hurts
- 22:43Speaker 6: on the brotherly shove. But ultimately, the ability for Saquon
- 22:47Speaker 6: Barkley to break tackles, for him to run to the outside,
- 22:50Speaker 6: for him to run to the inside, really just target
- 22:52Speaker 6: wherever the Cowboys defense is more than willing to not
- 22:56Speaker 6: load the box, He's gonna run there.
- 22:58Speaker 5: If that's what he's been doing all season long.
- 23:00Speaker 6: That is a huge stabilizing force in this matchup along
- 23:02Speaker 6: with the defense.
- 23:03Speaker 3: So there's a lot of uns certainty with the Eagles offense,
- 23:06Speaker 3: but when the Eagles defense is on the field, that's
- 23:08Speaker 3: the mismatch that I like. Zach Bond is a defensive
- 23:12Speaker 3: Player of the Year candidate.
- 23:14Speaker 4: I've been trying to figure out whose defensive player there.
- 23:16Speaker 4: I really don't know. It's not TJ. Watt. Just don't
- 23:18Speaker 4: vote for TJ.
- 23:19Speaker 2: Watt.
- 23:19Speaker 5: Is it Miles Garrett?
- 23:20Speaker 4: Does it make sense?
- 23:21Speaker 2: Well, we don't have votes.
- 23:23Speaker 5: Me and Patrick john I votes.
- 23:24Speaker 4: You get file either.
- 23:25Speaker 3: I'm just saying the five you vote for five different guys.
- 23:28Speaker 3: Zach Bond has made more game changing plays. A lot
- 23:31Speaker 3: of the nation is going to be watching this game
- 23:33Speaker 3: in the early window and they were the side of
- 23:36Speaker 3: the ball and Zach Bond was part of it. I
- 23:38Speaker 3: admit last week that really let them down against the Commanders.
- 23:41Speaker 3: But each and every week he has made plays. I
- 23:43Speaker 3: think he does it on Sunday and the defense gets
- 23:45Speaker 3: the win.
- 23:46Speaker 2: Well, based on the befores and afters of having Michael
- 23:48Speaker 2: Parsons and not maybe Micah gets a vote. I know
- 23:51Speaker 2: I do have a three point Eagles win more if
- 23:54Speaker 2: Jalen's able to somehow play. Hopefully he does. But we
- 23:57Speaker 2: can discuss tendencies and abilities and all the things that
- 24:00Speaker 2: actually matter to the game. But narratives are fun. And
- 24:03Speaker 2: what we have in this situation offensive coordinator who was
- 24:07Speaker 2: under a head coach who wanted to do things a
- 24:09Speaker 2: little bit different. He was a holdover from a previous
- 24:12Speaker 2: staff and and so Mike McCarthy comes in and eventually
- 24:17Speaker 2: it doesn't work out. The Cowboys have early seeds, late season,
- 24:21Speaker 2: early playoff exits, and he goes to the Chargers, and
- 24:25Speaker 2: now he finds his way back in the division. And
- 24:27Speaker 2: now Kellen Moore could potentially be calling the plays with
- 24:30Speaker 2: a backup quarterback against Mike McCarthy's backup quarterback. Revenge for
- 24:35Speaker 2: the discarded off coordinator of the.
- 24:37Speaker 5: Eagles that look to the camera.
- 24:39Speaker 2: That it's what motivates Kellen Moore is going to try
- 24:42Speaker 2: extra hard to call this game. It's the Seas the
- 24:44Speaker 2: Season presented by Caesar Sportsbook and looking at the first
- 24:48Speaker 2: touchdown score odds between rivals in the AFC East, the
- 24:52Speaker 2: Jets and the Bills. Josh Allen, James Cook leading the way,
- 24:55Speaker 2: Brees hal Khalil Shakir and DeVante Adams finishing things up
- 24:59Speaker 2: in this matchup in the first touchdown score odds. Let's
- 25:02Speaker 2: discuss the Jets and the Bills in Orchard Park Patriots
- 25:05Speaker 2: giving Buffalo a scare last week. Which Bills team shows
- 25:08Speaker 2: up Sunday?
- 25:09Speaker 3: I think the team that cruises and they win thirty
- 25:12Speaker 3: to twenty. I don't think it's close. They cover the number.
- 25:15Speaker 3: The Jets have been playing better lately, but they're not
- 25:18Speaker 3: tough upfront on defense. So when the Bills go heavy,
- 25:21Speaker 3: and they like go in heavy formation more than any
- 25:23Speaker 3: team in the league, they're just gonna run the ball
- 25:26Speaker 3: down the Jets throw.
- 25:27Speaker 4: I know the weather might be an issue, it's not
- 25:29Speaker 4: a problem.
- 25:29Speaker 3: This is a team full of mutters and James Cook,
- 25:32Speaker 3: who runs so much like Dalvin Cook.
- 25:35Speaker 4: It's like their brothers.
- 25:36Speaker 3: I mean, I can't believe James Cook is right now
- 25:39Speaker 3: about its good almost as good as Dalvin Cook was
- 25:41Speaker 3: at prime. Like what a pair of brothers this team is.
- 25:44Speaker 3: But yeah, I love what the Bills do. They go
- 25:46Speaker 3: six offensive linemen, They have a lot of creative formations,
- 25:49Speaker 3: but really they just kind of run the same plays
- 25:51Speaker 3: over and.
- 25:51Speaker 4: Over and it really works well.
- 25:53Speaker 3: They're one of the toughest teams in the NFL to stop.
- 25:56Speaker 3: Jets haven't been good stopping the run all year.
- 25:58Speaker 6: They lose big Well, I haven't even bigger win for
- 26:01Speaker 6: the Bills than you twenty nine to seventeen. I have
- 26:03Speaker 6: a twelve point when this is my most confident pick
- 26:06Speaker 6: of the week in terms of who will win the game.
- 26:09Speaker 6: But I want to talk about Christian Benford because over
- 26:11Speaker 6: the past few games, we have seen areas where the
- 26:13Speaker 6: secondary can get got as in we saw it against
- 26:16Speaker 6: the Ramps, as in we saw it against the Lions,
- 26:18Speaker 6: and we even saw it against the Patriots.
- 26:20Speaker 5: Although that was a little bit different.
- 26:21Speaker 6: But I will say, if you're trying to throw into
- 26:24Speaker 6: Christian Benford's coverage, good luck, it isn't going to happen.
- 26:26Speaker 6: The man has been excellent. Don't let where he was
- 26:29Speaker 6: drafted fool you. He was the better pick in this draft.
- 26:31Speaker 6: If you remember, they drafted a different corner in the
- 26:34Speaker 6: first round. They doubled down with him in the late round,
- 26:37Speaker 6: and now Christian Benford's the guy that you're going to
- 26:39Speaker 6: want to keep your eye on. So sure you can
- 26:41Speaker 6: pass against this team, and I'm sure Aaron Rodgers will try,
- 26:44Speaker 6: but not into Christian Bedford's coverage.
- 26:46Speaker 2: Well, I think a lot of it depends on who
- 26:48Speaker 2: he decides to how Sean mcdummott decides to deploy Christian
- 26:51Speaker 2: Benford Because when things aren't going well, and let's say
- 26:54Speaker 2: you're at a job and your friends come in, maybe
- 26:57Speaker 2: just slide in some more things your friend's way. Maybe
- 26:59Speaker 2: some product leaves the door once your friends come in.
- 27:02Speaker 2: And that's what's happened when has made his way to
- 27:05Speaker 2: the Jets. I think they cover the number. The Bills win,
- 27:08Speaker 2: but the Jets load up DeVante Adams with targets because
- 27:12Speaker 2: that's what's happened in the last four weeks. He's had
- 27:15Speaker 2: forty eight of them in the last four weeks. The
- 27:17Speaker 2: Bills do get Taylor wrapped back, not saying that they win,
- 27:20Speaker 2: but I think Devonte gets the targets and the opportunity.
- 27:24Speaker 2: But the Jets at the end are the Jets, and
- 27:27Speaker 2: I think they lose to the Buffalo Bills. Here season
- 27:29Speaker 2: Season is brought to you by Caesar Sportsbook. Bet just
- 27:33Speaker 2: one dollar in double boost your next ten bets up

- 27:53Speaker 2: streaming on NFL Plus, where a subscription is required for
- 27:57Speaker 2: NFL Plus Premium. Let's discuss some player props for that
- 28:01Speaker 2: Saturday games, and it's time for more or less. We have,
- 28:04Speaker 2: as his custom our foam fingers indicating more or less green,
- 28:09Speaker 2: being more, red being less Greg.
- 28:11Speaker 5: Greg doesn't know which ones which because he's color.
- 28:13Speaker 2: Apologies to the community, but we'll try to differentiate there. Greg.
- 28:20Speaker 2: Justin Herbert in the Charges more or less than one
- 28:22Speaker 2: and a half passing touchdowns against your pier.
- 28:24Speaker 3: I mean, I know how to see powder blue. Let's go,
- 28:27Speaker 3: Justin Herbert. I love watching you play, and I love
- 28:29Speaker 3: you when you have a great matchup against this Patriots defense.
- 28:32Speaker 3: They have not improved throughout the course of the season.
- 28:35Speaker 3: I know Jonathan Jones is healthier Christian Gonzales good in
- 28:38Speaker 3: the secondary, and yet you look at the numbers and
- 28:40Speaker 3: they are one of the easiest teams to pass against
- 28:42Speaker 3: each and every week. I just haven't seen any improvement.
- 28:46Speaker 3: So justin Herbert over a touchdown and a half.
- 28:48Speaker 2: All right, let's go to the big playoff implication game.
- 28:52Speaker 2: In the middle, Cynthia, Joe Burrow more or less than
- 28:55Speaker 2: two hundred and seventy nine passing yards.
- 28:57Speaker 6: I'm gonna go with less in this matchup. Not because
- 29:00Speaker 6: I don't think he's gonna play well, as you know,
- 29:02Speaker 6: Patrick and I both have the Bengals winning, but I
- 29:04Speaker 6: think that they're going to use the run a little
- 29:05Speaker 6: bit more to try to get some of this pressure
- 29:08Speaker 6: and some of the blitz away from Joe Burrow. He
- 29:11Speaker 6: has been in a hit one hundred and five times
- 29:14Speaker 6: this season. That is the most in the league. And
- 29:16Speaker 6: he may not be taking his sacks, but that's a
- 29:18Speaker 6: lot of pressure. So I'm not taking a bad game.
- 29:20Speaker 6: I'm just saying fewer than that many yards, all right.
- 29:22Speaker 2: I'm looking at that game as well. In Jamar Chase
- 29:25Speaker 2: more or less than ninety three and a half receiving yards.
- 29:29Speaker 2: I think it's more I think it's more and there
- 29:31Speaker 2: was an opportunity late for not just for Jamar Chase
- 29:34Speaker 2: to not be in the game against the Tennessee Titans,
- 29:36Speaker 2: but to just be off the field rest up, trying
- 29:40Speaker 2: to get this contract coming up. No, they're still throwing
- 29:43Speaker 2: late passes to Jamar Chase. He scores a touchdown inside
- 29:46Speaker 2: of two minutes to go in that game. I think
- 29:48Speaker 2: the volume gives us the opportunity for the guy that
- 29:51Speaker 2: could be a triple Crown winner, like joining Cooper Cup,
- 29:55Speaker 2: Jerry Rice, Steve Smith Sr. It's been we haven't had
- 29:59Speaker 2: a lot of them. I think Jamar Chase joins that
- 30:02Speaker 2: group at the end of the season. Greg Courtland Sutton
- 30:05Speaker 2: more or less than five and a half reception.
- 30:08Speaker 4: That's a big number.
- 30:08Speaker 3: This passing game has been struggling a little bit lately.
- 30:11Speaker 3: I'm going less on Courtland Sutton. I think he could
- 30:13Speaker 3: hit a big play, maybe he.
- 30:14Speaker 4: Scores a touchdown.
- 30:15Speaker 3: But when you watch the Broncos and you look at
- 30:17Speaker 3: their box scores, they're throwing it to Michael Burton and
- 30:20Speaker 3: Vley and a bunch of other guys. They go Marvin Mims,
- 30:23Speaker 3: it'll be seven to eight deep. So five and a
- 30:25Speaker 3: half receptions is a lot for a low volume passing game.
- 30:28Speaker 3: Courtland Sutton does not get it done against the Bengals.
- 30:31Speaker 2: Let's go to that night game on Saturday. Looking forward
- 30:34Speaker 2: to it. The Arizona Cardinals in the Los Angeles Rams
- 30:37Speaker 2: Cynthia Kyler Murray more or less than one and a
- 30:40Speaker 2: half passing touchdowns?
- 30:41Speaker 6: Well, aren't I just a little piece of sunshine?
- 30:44Speaker 5: I have fewer than one and a.
- 30:45Speaker 6: Half passing touchdowns forecast for Kyler Murray in this matchup.
- 30:49Speaker 6: While the Rams secondary can get gotten specific ways that front,
- 30:53Speaker 6: especially with missing pieces along the O line. Yeah, I
- 30:56Speaker 6: just don't think that. I don't think that that happens
- 30:58Speaker 6: for Kyler Murray.
- 30:58Speaker 2: All right, last one for me, Pooka Nakua ninety and
- 31:01Speaker 2: a half receiving yards more or less, I'll take more.
- 31:05Speaker 2: Pooka missed out with an opportunity to play against the
- 31:07Speaker 2: Arizona Cardinals. As Greg discussed earlier, that was not a
- 31:11Speaker 2: great game for the Los Angeles Rams.
- 31:13Speaker 6: No.
- 31:13Speaker 2: Los Angeles Rams offense was frankly bad the passing game
- 31:16Speaker 2: at the very least in MetLife. But Pooka Nakua is
- 31:19Speaker 2: having a great stretch towards the end of the season,
- 31:22Speaker 2: and I think Stafford gets some enough targets to get
- 31:24Speaker 2: over ninety and a half receiving yards.
- 31:26Speaker 4: So that's been a while, but that was pretty good.
- 31:29Speaker 2: As Greg tries to hit the camera almost does there.
- 31:32Speaker 2: I'll take one. Watch out, everybody. Brian's back there ducking
- 31:35Speaker 2: and dodging. Foam fingers are coming up. Tua and the
- 31:38Speaker 2: Fins still have a chance at the postseason. They just
- 31:41Speaker 2: need a few chips to fall the right way, starting
- 31:44Speaker 2: with their matchups Sunday against the Browns. Who's gonna win
- 31:46Speaker 2: Dolphins or Browns? Will let you know.
- 31:48Speaker 4: After the I was like two of those three.
- 31:57Speaker 2: We're back on game day if you want. It's time
- 31:59Speaker 2: for us to get into thick picks. Starting with the
- 32:01Speaker 2: Colts and the Giants. Still a path to the post
- 32:04Speaker 2: for Indy. Do they help that pass by getting a
- 32:06Speaker 2: win or something.
- 32:07Speaker 6: They do what they can, they win twenty three to sixteen.
- 32:10Speaker 6: I just want to talk about Jonathan Taylor for a second.
- 32:12Speaker 6: He had a great opportunity last week, absolutely made the.
- 32:15Speaker 5: Most of it.
- 32:16Speaker 6: This week gets another great opportunity against a Giant's defense
- 32:20Speaker 6: that has been pretty generous to opposing rushers, especially in
- 32:23Speaker 6: specific spots where Jonathan Taylor wakes to run but don't
- 32:27Speaker 6: beat not all a lost Tyron Tracy could have a
- 32:29Speaker 6: good game too, so fantasy players don't forget to play
- 32:31Speaker 6: him too.
- 32:31Speaker 4: Lock this one up.
- 32:32Speaker 3: I picked thirteen straight Colts games, correct, so we're gonna
- 32:36Speaker 3: make it fourteen here.
- 32:37Speaker 4: This is a gimma.
- 32:38Speaker 2: WoT it is unanimously.
- 32:39Speaker 5: Locking it up? I already just it's locked.
- 32:41Speaker 2: Yeah. I hear the South in my head, the Dolphins
- 32:44Speaker 2: and Brown's in Cleveland, the Finns still kind of the live.
- 32:47Speaker 2: Do they take care of business over?
- 32:48Speaker 4: They do?
- 32:48Speaker 3: And I think they cover the number. It's twenty three
- 32:50Speaker 3: to fourteen. I look for a revenge not a revenge game,
- 32:53Speaker 3: but a squeaky wheel game for Tyreek Hill. He was
- 32:55Speaker 3: coming off one of his worst games of his career.
- 32:58Speaker 3: Some strange comments after the game, some speculation in Miami
- 33:02Speaker 3: about Tyreek Hill's future drops the focus.
- 33:05Speaker 4: I don't know what's going on here.
- 33:07Speaker 3: He's not getting as open or the contested catches, and
- 33:09Speaker 3: when he's the main story all week, and he's got
- 33:11Speaker 3: a favorable matchup and it's not always easy against Cleveland.
- 33:15Speaker 3: I just think they're gonna feed him and make sure
- 33:16Speaker 3: Tyreek Hill has a bounce back game against the Browns.
- 33:19Speaker 5: Yeah, look, bounce on the floor.
- 33:21Speaker 4: No, you just don't see this too often out of
- 33:24Speaker 4: Tyreek Hill. But last week was rough for him.
- 33:27Speaker 3: But yeah, the Browns still starting DTR it's not gonna
- 33:29Speaker 3: happen for them.
- 33:29Speaker 2: Yeah, it's been a rough go for the Browns offense
- 33:32Speaker 2: in this stretch, the Raiders and the Saints, somebody's got
- 33:35Speaker 2: to win. It is gonna be I think the Raiders
- 33:38Speaker 2: actually get the win here sixteen to thirteen. No, I
- 33:41Speaker 2: don't expect a lot of points, but it feels like
- 33:44Speaker 2: the Las Vegas Raiders are trying. The Saints are, of
- 33:47Speaker 2: course trying to but a whole lot of injuries for them.
- 33:50Speaker 2: Let's just watch Aid and O'Connell operate. I would have
- 33:53Speaker 2: loved to requested the scrambles in there, but there's only
- 33:56Speaker 2: been before in his career, but they have come.
- 33:58Speaker 5: At least it is not zero.
- 34:00Speaker 2: Yeah, he's off of zero. He's making plays like this,
- 34:03Speaker 2: Like once he got that scramble yard, he just had
- 34:05Speaker 2: a taste for blood and could not be That was incredible.
- 34:08Speaker 6: I saw on Twitter an amazing comment about the ref
- 34:10Speaker 6: having to scramble for more yards to get out of
- 34:12Speaker 6: the way for him than anyways.
- 34:14Speaker 3: I thought, because you guys missed it last week, I
- 34:16Speaker 3: just s gregged it up by creators because I knew
- 34:19Speaker 3: that they were gonna fight hard, and I thought I'd
- 34:21Speaker 3: get it done again. This is as disrespectful a memler
- 34:25Speaker 3: as there has been Saints fans.
- 34:27Speaker 4: If you're out there, we did.
- 34:28Speaker 3: None of us picked you against eight O'Connell's Raiders at home.
- 34:33Speaker 2: I mean, you guys just watched that. Now O'Connell well
- 34:35Speaker 2: AOC dealing right now. The last game in quick picks
- 34:38Speaker 2: the Titans and Jags. Both teams are three and twelve
- 34:41Speaker 2: this season. Who gets the very elusive fourth win?
- 34:44Speaker 6: I literally hated this one. In my model, I have
- 34:46Speaker 6: the Jags twenty two to twenty. I believe I'm all alone.
- 34:48Speaker 6: This might be a prime number for me, But Brian
- 34:51Speaker 6: Thomas Junior is the difference maker in this.
- 34:54Speaker 5: Matchup for me.
- 34:55Speaker 6: I'm watching this rookie, another guy who should get some
- 34:58Speaker 6: what what are you guys laughing at?
- 34:59Speaker 5: Oh?
- 34:59Speaker 4: The scores?
- 35:00Speaker 6: Yeah, sixteen to fifteen, seventeen to fourteen, y'all are crazy.
- 35:03Speaker 6: Although the first matchup of this was the lowest scoring
- 35:06Speaker 6: game in the entire season so far, with sixteen combined points.
- 35:10Speaker 5: I've got a bar. I've got like a barn burning.
- 35:12Speaker 4: You know, I'm laughing at the number. I've never seen
- 35:15Speaker 4: minus point five.
- 35:17Speaker 5: You've never seen a half of Titans.
- 35:19Speaker 6: Jags could managed fire.
- 35:21Speaker 4: A minus point five. Like, No, I don't think I've
- 35:23Speaker 4: ever seen that. That's amazing.
- 35:25Speaker 6: Good Thomas Junior, you're on my shore. If I had
- 35:27Speaker 6: a list of five people for offensive Orgeer, you'd be honest.
- 35:30Speaker 4: He's my number three. I made a list just in
- 35:33Speaker 4: case you're I do.
- 35:34Speaker 2: I've read a vote. He's talking to vote.
- 35:38Speaker 4: We're not allowed. We work for the NFL.
- 35:40Speaker 3: It's against the policy journalism for right down.
- 35:44Speaker 5: They never talk about that.
- 35:45Speaker 4: I'm I don't know how you know it has been talking.
- 35:47Speaker 5: It's never ever come up ever.
- 35:49Speaker 2: During the history of that illustrious show. Predictions for Week seventeen, gregs.
- 35:52Speaker 4: Okay, I'm on the comeback trail.
- 35:54Speaker 3: I hit my double pick last week, and so I'm
- 35:57Speaker 3: going back with the same one again.
- 35:59Speaker 4: That always works.
- 36:00Speaker 3: Detroit Lions are going over their team total on Monday
- 36:04Speaker 3: Night against the forty nine Ers. That's over twenty seven
- 36:07Speaker 3: and a half points. I feel so good about that one.
- 36:10Speaker 3: I did it last week, and they hit it in
- 36:11Speaker 3: the first half. You didn't even have to sweat this week.
- 36:14Speaker 3: I'm going back to Jamir Gibbs in terms of his
- 36:16Speaker 3: scrimmage yards. He does it all over one hundred and
- 36:19Speaker 3: twenty two and a half scrimmage yards.
- 36:21Speaker 4: This forty nine Ers.
- 36:22Speaker 3: Defense laying down just a little bit, giving up a
- 36:24Speaker 3: lot of rushing yards to the Dolphins last week, and
- 36:26Speaker 3: so I'm on the comeback trail. You combine these two
- 36:29Speaker 3: picks and you have a great new year, feeling.
- 36:32Speaker 4: Good about it.
- 36:32Speaker 5: I would love it if that happens. One twenty two
- 36:34Speaker 5: point five is a.
- 36:35Speaker 4: Lot of screen. We hit it last week.
- 36:36Speaker 5: We hit it last hilarious.
- 36:38Speaker 6: Yeah, I'm going a little bit more modest because you
- 36:40Speaker 6: know what, a win's a wind doesn't matter. I'm saying
- 36:42Speaker 6: that justin Herbert rushes for at least fourteen and a
- 36:44Speaker 6: half yards more than that. Why because when I'm looking
- 36:47Speaker 6: at this opportunity for him against the Patriots and to
- 36:50Speaker 6: keep everything nice and predictable the way that his coach
- 36:54Speaker 6: likes it.
- 36:54Speaker 5: His coach who's going.
- 36:55Speaker 6: To be wearing cleets out there on the field because
- 36:57Speaker 6: that is what his coach does. I think he runs
- 36:59Speaker 6: for at least fifteen yards.
- 37:01Speaker 2: Yeah, it feels it feels easy. It feels easy for
- 37:05Speaker 2: Justin Herbert to do that. He's got so much talent,
- 37:07Speaker 2: and at the start of the season it felt hard
- 37:09Speaker 2: for Sam Laporta to get receptions. But we discussed this
- 37:12Speaker 2: earlier in the show. He's got twenty four targets in
- 37:14Speaker 2: the last three weeks, and the idea is that he
- 37:18Speaker 2: might have less than forty six and a half receiving
- 37:20Speaker 2: out on Monday Night Football in a revenge game where
- 37:24Speaker 2: Greg says the Lions was gonna score six trillion points.
- 37:28Speaker 2: No way, I've got Sam Laporta getting past that number
- 37:31Speaker 2: of forty eight and a half and me trying to
- 37:33Speaker 2: fend off Greg taking two picks. I got to take
- 37:35Speaker 2: two picks last week just to keep pace and staying there.
- 37:38Speaker 4: Now I'm well behind. We need to get a standings.
- 37:41Speaker 3: You guys are both doing great on your right the sounds,
- 37:43Speaker 3: but I'm on the comeback trail.
- 37:44Speaker 5: Is that why you keep doing two?
- 37:46Speaker 2: Yes? Try to like there's term for that. That's when
- 37:50Speaker 2: people may call it tilting. Greg is taking an advantage
- 37:53Speaker 2: an opportunity to come back. We want you to come
- 37:55Speaker 2: back and watch us here on game debut present of
- 37:57Speaker 2: by Mercedes Beens next week. Thanks for spending your holiday
- 38:00Speaker 2: season with us.
