  Have
• 0:38
  you
• 0:38
  considered
• 0:38
  your
• 0:38
  investments
• 0:39
  as
• 0:39
  how
• 0:39
  they
• 0:39
  relate
• 0:40
  to
• 0:40
  eternity?
• 0:41
  It's
• 0:41
  an
• 0:41
  interesting
• 0:42
  question,
• 0:42
  isn't
• 0:42
  it?
• 0:43
  Well,
• 0:43
  just
• 0:43
  listen
• 0:44
  to
• 0:44
  this.
• 0:44
  And
• 0:44
  I
• 0:44
  found
• 0:44
  this
• 0:45
  interesting.
• 0:45
  Abby
• 0:46
  got
• 0:46
  these
• 0:46
  stats
• 0:46
  for
• 0:47
  me
• 0:47
  today.
• 0:47
  U.S.
• 0:48
  retirement
• 0:48
  assets
• 0:49
  hit
• 0:49
  $43.4
• 0:51
  trillion
• 0:52
  in
• 0:52
  the
• 0:52
  first
• 0:53
  quarter,
• 0:53
  2025.
• 0:54
  You
• 0:55
  may
• 0:55
  be
• 0:55
  saying,
• 0:55
  okay,
• 0:55
  Ralph,
• 0:56
  what
• 0:56
  does
• 0:56
  that
• 0:56
  mean?
• 0:56
  Well,
• 0:56
  here's
• 0:56
  the
• 0:57
  thing.
• 0:57
  That's
• 0:58
  34%
• 0:59
  of
• 0:59
  household
• 1:00
  financial
• 1:01
  assets.
• 1:02
  And
• 1:02
  think
• 1:02
  about
• 1:03
  that
• 1:03
  for
• 1:03
  a
• 1:03
  second.
• 1:03
  That's
• 1:04
  $43
• 1:04
  trillion
• 1:05
  in
• 1:05
  retirement
• 1:06
  assets.
• 1:07
  But
• 1:07
  let
• 1:07
  me
• 1:07
  ask
• 1:08
  you
• 1:08
  this,
• 1:09
  this
• 1:09
  is
• 1:10
  a
• 1:10
  tough
• 1:10
  question.
• 1:11
  How
• 1:11
  much
• 1:11
  of
• 1:12
  that
• 1:12
  will
• 1:12
  matter
• 1:12
  in
• 1:12
  heaven?
• 1:14
  Yeah,
• 1:15
  that
• 1:15
  one
• 1:15
  will
• 1:15
  rock
• 1:16
  your
• 1:16
  blame,
• 1:16
  won't
• 1:16
  it?
• 1:17
  Consider
• 1:18
  this.
• 1:18
  Over
• 1:19
  54%
• 1:19
  of
• 1:20
  US
• 1:20
  households
• 1:21
  have
• 1:21
  a
• 1:21
  retirement
• 1:22
  account.
• 1:23
  But
• 1:24
  how
• 1:24
  many
• 1:24
  are
• 1:24
  preparing
• 1:25
  for
• 1:25
  more
• 1:25
  than
• 1:25
  just
• 1:26
  retirement?
• 1:27
  Which
• 1:28
  leads
• 1:28
  me
• 1:28
  to
• 1:28
  a
• 1:28
  question
• 1:29
  from
• 1:29
  a
• 1:29
  listener
• 1:30
  and
• 1:30
  I
• 1:30
  love
• 1:31
  this
• 1:31
  question.
• 1:31
  When
• 1:31
  I
• 1:31
  got
• 1:31
  this
• 1:31
  in
• 1:32
  Ralph,
• 1:33
  I
• 1:33
  spend
• 1:33
  so
• 1:34
  much
• 1:34
  time
• 1:34
  planning
• 1:34
  for
• 1:34
  retirement,
• 1:35
  but
• 1:36
  I
• 1:36
  wonder,
• 1:37
  how
• 1:37
  do
• 1:37
  I
• 1:37
  make
• 1:37
  sure
• 1:37
  my
• 1:38
  investments
• 1:38
  matter
• 1:38
  for
• 1:39
  eternity,
• 1:40
  not
• 1:40
  just
• 1:40
  this
• 1:41
  life?
• 1:42
  Yeah,
• 1:43
  that
• 1:43
  question
• 1:43
  made
• 1:44
  me
• 1:44
  think.
• 1:45
  It
• 1:45
  makes
• 1:45
  you
• 1:46
  think
• 1:46
  too,
• 1:46
  doesn't
• 1:46
  it?
• 1:48
  Because
• 1:48
  every
• 1:48
  dollar
• 1:49
  invested
• 1:49
  grows.
• 1:50
  That's
• 1:51
  the
• 1:51
  whole
• 1:51
  point
• 1:51
  of
• 1:51
  investing.
• 1:51
  That's
• 1:52
  why
• 1:52
  We've
• 1:52
  done
• 1:52
  this
• 1:52
  30
• 1:52
  day
• 1:52
  series.
• 1:53
  We
• 1:53
  see
• 1:53
  how
• 1:53
  investments
• 1:54
  grow.
• 1:54
  We
• 1:54
  talked
• 1:55
  about
• 1:55
  compound
• 1:55
  and
• 1:55
  we
• 1:55
  talked
• 1:56
  about
• 1:56
  all
• 1:56
  the
• 1:56
  different
• 1:56
  types
• 1:57
  of
• 1:57
  investments.
• 1:59
  We
• 1:59
  talked
• 1:59
  about
• 1:59
  return.
• 2:00
  But
• 2:00
  what
• 2:00
  about
• 2:00
  their
• 2:01
  eternal
• 2:01
  return?
• 2:03
  How
• 2:03
  do
• 2:03
  we
• 2:03
  even
• 2:04
  measure
• 2:04
  that?
• 2:05
  Well,
• 2:05
  I've
• 2:05
  got
• 2:06
  some
• 2:06
  answers
• 2:06
  on
• 2:06
  today's
• 2:06
  show.
• 2:08
  This
• 2:09
  is
• 2:09
  Financially
• 2:09
  Confident
• 2:10
  Christian,
• 2:11
  your
• 2:11
  daily
• 2:11
  dose
• 2:12
  of
• 2:12
  gospel,
• 2:12
  grounded
• 2:13
  insight
• 2:13
  and
• 2:13
  faith
• 2:14
  driven
• 2:14
  tips
• 2:14
  to
• 2:15
  help
• 2:15
  you
• 2:15
  break
• 2:15
  the
• 2:16
  cycle
• 2:16
  of
• 2:16
  financial
• 2:16
  shame
• 2:17
  with
• 2:17
  confidence.
• 2:21
  Welcome
• 2:22
  back
• 2:22
  to
• 2:22
  the
• 2:22
  show.
• 2:23
  I'm
• 2:23
  Ralph
• 2:23
  and
• 2:24
  I
• 2:24
  started
• 2:24
  today
• 2:24
  with
• 2:24
  a
• 2:25
  great
• 2:25
  statistic.
• 2:26
  Americans
• 2:27
  hold
• 2:27
  over
• 2:27
  $43
• 2:28
  trillion
• 2:29
  in
• 2:29
  retirement
• 2:30
  assets.
• 2:31
  You
• 2:31
  might
• 2:31
  be
• 2:32
  one
• 2:32
  of
• 2:32
  those
• 2:32
  people.
• 2:32
  I'm
• 2:32
  one
• 2:33
  of
• 2:33
  those
• 2:33
  people.
• 2:34
  We
• 2:34
  work
• 2:34
  hard,
• 2:35
  we
• 2:35
  save
• 2:36
  and
• 2:36
  we're
• 2:37
  planning
• 2:37
  for
• 2:37
  the
• 2:37
  future.
• 2:37
  Those
• 2:38
  are
• 2:38
  all
• 2:38
  great
• 2:38
  things.
• 2:40
  But
• 2:40
  I'm
• 2:40
  going
• 2:40
  to
• 2:41
  challenge
• 2:41
  you
• 2:41
  today
• 2:42
  because
• 2:43
  as
• 2:43
  Christians,
• 2:44
  we
• 2:44
  know
• 2:45
  the
• 2:45
  greatest
• 2:45
  return
• 2:46
  isn't
• 2:46
  just
• 2:46
  retirement,
• 2:48
  it's
• 2:48
  investing
• 2:48
  for
• 2:49
  eternity.
• 2:50
  And
• 2:51
  listen,
• 2:51
  this
• 2:51
  isn't
• 2:51
  my
• 2:51
  first
• 2:52
  rodeo.
• 2:53
  I've
• 2:53
  been
• 2:53
  doing
• 2:53
  accounting
• 2:54
  and
• 2:54
  financial
• 2:55
  consulting
• 2:55
  for
• 2:55
  30
• 2:56
  years
• 2:57
  and
• 2:57
  I've
• 2:57
  always
• 2:57
  tried
• 2:58
  to
• 2:58
  help
• 2:58
  people
• 2:58
  see
• 2:59
  investing
• 2:59
  from
• 3:00
  an
• 3:00
  internal
• 3:00
  perspective
• 3:01
  at
• 3:01
  the
• 3:01
  center
• 3:02
  of
• 3:02
  that.
• 3:03
  And
• 3:03
  listen,
• 3:03
  as
• 3:03
  a
• 3:04
  Christian,
• 3:04
  I've
• 3:04
  had
• 3:04
  to
• 3:04
  challenge
• 3:05
  myself
• 3:06
  and
• 3:06
  I've
• 3:06
  learned
• 3:07
  this
• 3:07
  very
• 3:07
  difficult
• 3:08
  truth.
• 3:10
  True
• 3:10
  wealth
• 3:11
  is
• 3:11
  measured
• 3:11
  in
• 3:12
  impact,
• 3:13
  not
• 3:13
  in
• 3:14
  account
• 3:14
  balances.
• 3:15
  When
• 3:16
  you
• 3:16
  pass
• 3:16
  on
• 3:16
  from
• 3:16
  this
• 3:17
  life,
• 3:17
  nobody's
• 3:17
  going
• 3:17
  to
• 3:17
  look
• 3:18
  back
• 3:18
  and
• 3:18
  say,
• 3:18
  oh,
• 3:19
  Ralph
• 3:19
  had
• 3:19
  a
• 3:19
  big
• 3:19
  account
• 3:19
  balance
• 3:20
  or
• 3:20
  Ralph
• 3:21
  had
• 3:21
  a
• 3:21
  big
• 3:21
  retirement
• 3:22
  account
• 3:22
  or
• 3:22
  Ralph
• 3:23
  had
• 3:23
  this
• 3:23
  car
• 3:24
  and
• 3:24
  that
• 3:24
  car
• 3:24
  and
• 3:25
  this
• 3:25
  vacation,
• 3:25
  no,
• 3:26
  they're
• 3:26
  not
• 3:26
  going
• 3:26
  to
• 3:26
  remember
• 3:26
  that.
• 3:27
  And
• 3:28
  I
• 3:28
  remember
• 3:28
  a
• 3:28
  friend
• 3:28
  of
• 3:29
  mine,
• 3:29
  I
• 3:29
  was
• 3:30
  talking
• 3:30
  with
• 3:30
  a
• 3:30
  friend
• 3:30
  who
• 3:31
  was
• 3:31
  laser
• 3:31
  focused
• 3:32
  on
• 3:32
  retirement
• 3:32
  savings.
• 3:33
  They
• 3:33
  really
• 3:33
  understand.
• 3:34
  He
• 3:34
  understood
• 3:35
  what
• 3:35
  it
• 3:35
  was
• 3:35
  like
• 3:35
  to
• 3:36
  save
• 3:36
  for
• 3:36
  that.
• 3:37
  But
• 3:37
  I'll
• 3:38
  never
• 3:38
  forget
• 3:38
  one
• 3:38
  day
• 3:38
  he
• 3:38
  called
• 3:39
  me
• 3:39
  on
• 3:39
  the
• 3:39
  weekend
• 3:39
  and
• 3:39
  he
• 3:39
  said,
• 3:40
  ralph,
• 3:40
  I'm
• 3:41
  thinking
• 3:41
  about
• 3:41
  this
• 3:41
  retirement.
• 3:42
  I'm
• 3:42
  just
• 3:42
  wondering,
• 3:43
  what
• 3:43
  do
• 3:43
  I
• 3:44
  do
• 3:44
  with
• 3:44
  this?
• 3:45
  See,
• 3:45
  he
• 3:46
  saw
• 3:46
  that
• 3:46
  his
• 3:46
  portfolio
• 3:47
  was
• 3:47
  growing,
• 3:49
  but
• 3:49
  he
• 3:49
  was
• 3:49
  wondering,
• 3:50
  what
• 3:50
  joy
• 3:51
  is
• 3:51
  that?
• 3:53
  And
• 3:53
  he
• 3:53
  thought
• 3:53
  about,
• 3:53
  maybe
• 3:54
  I'll
• 3:54
  take
• 3:54
  a
• 3:54
  missionary
• 3:55
  trip.
• 3:55
  And
• 3:56
  when
• 3:56
  he
• 3:56
  did
• 3:56
  that,
• 3:56
  let
• 3:56
  me
• 3:56
  just
• 3:57
  tell
• 3:57
  you
• 3:57
  right
• 3:57
  now,
• 3:57
  that
• 3:57
  changed
• 3:58
  his
• 3:58
  life
• 3:58
  forever.
• 3:59
  That's
• 4:00
  how
• 4:00
  we
• 4:00
  grow.
• 4:00
  Eternal
• 4:01
  impact.
• 4:02
  And
• 4:02
  I
• 4:02
  love
• 4:02
  this
• 4:02
  quote
• 4:03
  from
• 4:03
  C
• 4:03
  T
• 4:03
  Stud.
• 4:04
  It's
• 4:05
  sort
• 4:05
  of
• 4:05
  a
• 4:05
  poem,
• 4:05
  if
• 4:06
  you
• 4:06
  will.
• 4:06
  Only
• 4:07
  one
• 4:07
  life
• 4:07
  twill
• 4:08
  soon
• 4:08
  be
• 4:08
  passed.
• 4:09
  Only
• 4:10
  what's
• 4:10
  done
• 4:10
  for
• 4:10
  Christ
• 4:11
  will
• 4:12
  last.
• 4:13
  Now
• 4:13
  that's
• 4:14
  impactful,
• 4:14
  isn't
• 4:14
  it?
• 4:14
  I
• 4:15
  want
• 4:15
  to
• 4:15
  say
• 4:15
  this
• 4:15
  one
• 4:15
  more
• 4:15
  time.
• 4:16
  Only
• 4:16
  one
• 4:17
  life
• 4:17
  will
• 4:18
  soon
• 4:18
  be
• 4:18
  passed.
• 4:19
  Only
• 4:19
  what's
• 4:20
  done
• 4:20
  for
• 4:20
  Christ
• 4:21
  will
• 4:21
  last.
• 4:23
  So
• 4:23
  now
• 4:23
  you're
• 4:24
  asking
• 4:24
  me
• 4:24
  the
• 4:24
  same
• 4:24
  question.
• 4:24
  I'm
• 4:25
  asking
• 4:25
  you,
• 4:25
  how
• 4:26
  do
• 4:26
  we
• 4:26
  have
• 4:26
  this
• 4:26
  eternal
• 4:27
  view?
• 4:28
  Well,
• 4:28
  let's
• 4:28
  jump
• 4:28
  right
• 4:28
  into
• 4:29
  scripture,
• 4:29
  because
• 4:29
  we
• 4:29
  got
• 4:30
  to
• 4:30
  start
• 4:30
  there
• 4:30
  because
• 4:30
  scripture
• 4:31
  has
• 4:31
  to
• 4:31
  ground
• 4:31
  us.
• 4:31
  For
• 4:32
  this
• 4:32
  discussion,
• 4:32
  let's
• 4:33
  go
• 4:33
  to
• 4:33
  the
• 4:33
  Book
• 4:33
  of
• 4:33
  Matthew,
• 4:34
  chapter
• 4:35
  6,
• 4:35
  verses
• 4:36
  19
• 4:36
  and
• 4:36
  20,
• 4:37
  a
• 4:37
  very
• 4:37
  common
• 4:37
  verse.
• 4:38
  Do
• 4:38
  not
• 4:38
  store
• 4:39
  up
• 4:39
  for
• 4:39
  yourselves
• 4:39
  treasures
• 4:40
  on
• 4:40
  earth
• 4:40
  where
• 4:41
  moth
• 4:41
  and
• 4:41
  vermin
• 4:42
  destroyed
• 4:43
  and
• 4:43
  where
• 4:43
  thieves
• 4:43
  break
• 4:43
  in
• 4:44
  and
• 4:44
  steal.
• 4:45
  But
• 4:45
  store
• 4:45
  for
• 4:45
  yourselves
• 4:46
  treasures
• 4:46
  in
• 4:46
  heaven
• 4:47
  where
• 4:47
  moth
• 4:47
  and
• 4:48
  vermin
• 4:48
  do
• 4:48
  not
• 4:48
  destroy
• 4:49
  and
• 4:49
  where
• 4:49
  thieves
• 4:50
  do
• 4:50
  not
• 4:50
  break
• 4:51
  in
• 4:51
  and
• 4:51
  steal.
• 4:52
  Now,
• 4:53
  it
• 4:53
  goes
• 4:53
  on.
• 4:53
  I
• 4:53
  didn't
• 4:53
  put
• 4:54
  it
• 4:54
  here
• 4:54
  in
• 4:54
  today's
• 4:55
  show
• 4:55
  because
• 4:56
  that's
• 4:56
  where
• 4:56
  your
• 4:56
  heart
• 4:56
  is,
• 4:57
  where
• 4:57
  your
• 4:57
  treasure
• 4:57
  is.
• 4:58
  So
• 4:58
  now
• 4:58
  I
• 4:59
  want
• 4:59
  to
• 4:59
  give
• 4:59
  you
• 4:59
  three
• 4:59
  ways
• 5:00
  to
• 5:00
  invest
• 5:00
  for
• 5:01
  eternity.
• 5:01
  See,
• 5:01
  this
• 5:01
  isn't
• 5:02
  about
• 5:02
  just
• 5:02
  retirement.
• 5:03
  This
• 5:03
  isn't
• 5:04
  about
• 5:04
  comfort.
• 5:05
  But
• 5:05
  it's
• 5:06
  for
• 5:06
  impact
• 5:06
  that
• 5:06
  lasts
• 5:07
  forever.
• 5:07
  So
• 5:07
  here's
• 5:07
  the
• 5:08
  first
• 5:08
  thing
• 5:08
  you've
• 5:08
  got
• 5:08
  to
• 5:08
  do.
• 5:09
  You
• 5:10
  got
• 5:10
  to
• 5:10
  value
• 5:10
  people
• 5:11
  over
• 5:11
  portfolios.
• 5:13
  So
• 5:13
  many
• 5:13
  people
• 5:13
  get
• 5:13
  hung
• 5:14
  up
• 5:14
  on
• 5:14
  the
• 5:14
  numbers,
• 5:14
  they'll
• 5:14
  come
• 5:14
  in
• 5:15
  and
• 5:15
  they'll
• 5:15
  meet
• 5:15
  with
• 5:15
  me.
• 5:15
  Ralph,
• 5:16
  I've
• 5:16
  got
• 5:16
  so
• 5:16
  many
• 5:16
  hundred
• 5:17
  thousand
• 5:17
  in
• 5:17
  my
• 5:17
  savings
• 5:18
  account,
• 5:18
  I
• 5:18
  got
• 5:18
  this
• 5:19
  much
• 5:19
  in
• 5:19
  my
• 5:19
  retirement.
• 5:20
  That's
• 5:20
  great.
• 5:21
  Well,
• 5:22
  how
• 5:22
  does
• 5:22
  that
• 5:22
  impact
• 5:22
  your
• 5:23
  heart?
• 5:24
  See,
• 5:24
  it's
• 5:24
  not
• 5:24
  just
• 5:24
  about
• 5:24
  the
• 5:25
  numbers.
• 5:25
  It's
• 5:25
  about
• 5:25
  the
• 5:26
  names
• 5:26
  on
• 5:26
  your
• 5:26
  heart.
• 5:27
  Ask
• 5:27
  yourself
• 5:27
  this,
• 5:29
  who
• 5:29
  can
• 5:30
  my
• 5:30
  resources
• 5:30
  bless
• 5:31
  directly?
• 5:32
  So
• 5:33
  you
• 5:33
  can
• 5:33
  talk
• 5:33
  about
• 5:33
  building
• 5:33
  a
• 5:34
  retirement
• 5:34
  plan.
• 5:34
  You
• 5:34
  can
• 5:34
  talk
• 5:35
  about
• 5:35
  doing
• 5:35
  all
• 5:35
  those
• 5:36
  things.
• 5:36
  But
• 5:36
  how
• 5:36
  can
• 5:37
  your
• 5:37
  resources
• 5:38
  bless
• 5:38
  somebody
• 5:38
  directly?
• 5:39
  Maybe
• 5:39
  it's
• 5:39
  helping
• 5:40
  a
• 5:40
  struggling
• 5:40
  Family
• 5:40
  with
• 5:41
  growth.
• 5:41
  Do
• 5:42
  you
• 5:42
  ever
• 5:42
  think
• 5:42
  about
• 5:42
  that?
• 5:43
  That
• 5:43
  has
• 5:43
  an
• 5:43
  eternal
• 5:44
  impact.
• 5:45
  Maybe
• 5:45
  it's
• 5:45
  paying
• 5:46
  for
• 5:46
  a
• 5:46
  child's
• 5:46
  school
• 5:46
  supplies.
• 5:48
  Hey,
• 5:48
  maybe
• 5:48
  it's
• 5:48
  hosting
• 5:49
  a
• 5:49
  meal
• 5:49
  for
• 5:49
  someone
• 5:50
  who
• 5:50
  feels
• 5:50
  forgotten.
• 5:51
  There
• 5:51
  are
• 5:51
  so
• 5:51
  many
• 5:51
  people
• 5:52
  right
• 5:52
  now
• 5:52
  that
• 5:52
  feel
• 5:53
  forgotten.
• 5:54
  So
• 5:55
  I
• 5:55
  want
• 5:55
  to
• 5:55
  start
• 5:55
  there.
• 5:55
  When
• 5:55
  you
• 5:56
  prioritize
• 5:56
  people,
• 5:58
  portfolios
• 5:59
  become
• 5:59
  stories
• 5:59
  of
• 6:00
  change
• 6:00
  lives.
• 6:00
  I'm
• 6:01
  going
• 6:01
  to
• 6:01
  encourage
• 6:01
  you
• 6:01
  to
• 6:01
  do
• 6:01
  that.
• 6:01
  Second
• 6:02
  thing,
• 6:03
  mission
• 6:03
  over
• 6:04
  margin.
• 6:05
  Margin
• 6:05
  isn't
• 6:06
  bad.
• 6:06
  Margin's
• 6:07
  a
• 6:07
  good
• 6:07
  thing.
• 6:07
  We
• 6:07
  talk
• 6:08
  about
• 6:08
  investments.
• 6:08
  Margin's
• 6:09
  a
• 6:09
  positive
• 6:09
  thing.
• 6:10
  But
• 6:10
  mission
• 6:11
  gives
• 6:11
  your
• 6:11
  money
• 6:11
  a
• 6:12
  higher
• 6:12
  calling.
• 6:12
  Do
• 6:12
  you
• 6:13
  want
• 6:13
  a
• 6:13
  higher
• 6:13
  calling
• 6:13
  for
• 6:14
  your
• 6:14
  money?
• 6:14
  I
• 6:15
  know
• 6:15
  I
• 6:15
  do.
• 6:16
  So
• 6:16
  choose
• 6:16
  a
• 6:17
  mission
• 6:17
  beyond
• 6:17
  that
• 6:17
  comfort.
• 6:19
  Hey,
• 6:19
  this
• 6:19
  is
• 6:19
  one
• 6:19
  of
• 6:20
  the
• 6:20
  things
• 6:20
  you
• 6:20
  can
• 6:20
  consider.
• 6:20
  I've
• 6:21
  never
• 6:21
  even
• 6:21
  considered
• 6:21
  this
• 6:21
  before.
• 6:22
  I
• 6:22
  was
• 6:22
  working
• 6:22
  on
• 6:22
  today's
• 6:23
  show.
• 6:23
  Fund
• 6:23
  a
• 6:24
  Bible
• 6:24
  translation.
• 6:25
  There
• 6:25
  are
• 6:25
  people
• 6:26
  out
• 6:26
  there
• 6:26
  now
• 6:27
  trying
• 6:27
  to
• 6:27
  translate
• 6:28
  the
• 6:28
  Bible
• 6:28
  into
• 6:29
  many
• 6:29
  languages
• 6:29
  of
• 6:30
  people
• 6:30
  who
• 6:30
  still
• 6:30
  haven't
• 6:31
  heard
• 6:31
  the
• 6:31
  good
• 6:31
  word
• 6:32
  of
• 6:32
  God's
• 6:33
  good
• 6:33
  news.
• 6:34
  Hey,
• 6:34
  maybe
• 6:34
  support
• 6:35
  a
• 6:35
  missionary.
• 6:35
  That's
• 6:36
  an
• 6:36
  opportunity
• 6:37
  for
• 6:37
  you
• 6:37
  to
• 6:37
  reach
• 6:37
  people
• 6:38
  that
• 6:38
  you
• 6:38
  may
• 6:38
  never
• 6:38
  meet.
• 6:39
  That
• 6:39
  could
• 6:39
  be
• 6:39
  hugely
• 6:40
  impactful
• 6:41
  and
• 6:41
  maybe
• 6:42
  for
• 6:42
  you.
• 6:42
  You
• 6:42
  want
• 6:42
  to
• 6:42
  do
• 6:43
  something
• 6:43
  locally.
• 6:43
  Fund
• 6:44
  a
• 6:44
  soup
• 6:44
  kitchen.
• 6:45
  Find
• 6:45
  a
• 6:45
  local
• 6:45
  outreach
• 6:46
  that
• 6:46
  works
• 6:47
  for
• 6:47
  you.
• 6:47
  And
• 6:48
  hey,
• 6:48
  if
• 6:48
  you're
• 6:48
  a
• 6:48
  business
• 6:49
  owner
• 6:49
  listening,
• 6:49
  set
• 6:50
  aside
• 6:50
  a
• 6:50
  percentage
• 6:51
  of
• 6:51
  your
• 6:51
  profits.
• 6:51
  Not
• 6:52
  for
• 6:52
  your
• 6:52
  future,
• 6:53
  but
• 6:53
  for
• 6:53
  kingdom
• 6:54
  work.
• 6:55
  Because
• 6:55
  I
• 6:55
  want
• 6:55
  you
• 6:56
  to
• 6:56
  hear
• 6:56
  this,
• 6:56
  and
• 6:56
  I
• 6:56
  want
• 6:56
  you
• 6:56
  to
• 6:56
  hear
• 6:56
  this
• 6:57
  loud
• 6:57
  and
• 6:57
  clear.
• 6:57
  Your
• 6:57
  bottom
• 6:58
  line
• 6:58
  doesn't
• 6:58
  just
• 6:59
  measure
• 6:59
  dollars.
• 7:00
  It
• 7:00
  measures
• 7:01
  disciples.
• 7:03
  Number
• 7:03
  three.
• 7:05
  This
• 7:05
  one's
• 7:05
  going
• 7:05
  to
• 7:06
  bite
• 7:06
  a
• 7:06
  little
• 7:06
  bit.
• 7:06
  This
• 7:06
  one
• 7:06
  stepped
• 7:07
  on
• 7:07
  my
• 7:07
  own
• 7:07
  toes.
• 7:08
  Seeds
• 7:09
  over
• 7:09
  stuff.
• 7:10
  Hey,
• 7:10
  here's
• 7:10
  the
• 7:10
  truth.
• 7:10
  Stuff
• 7:11
  breaks.
• 7:11
  It
• 7:12
  just
• 7:12
  does.
• 7:13
  That
• 7:13
  stuff,
• 7:13
  that
• 7:13
  shiny
• 7:14
  things.
• 7:14
  Oh,
• 7:14
  that.
• 7:14
  That's
• 7:15
  great.
• 7:15
  But
• 7:15
  guess
• 7:15
  what?
• 7:15
  It's
• 7:15
  going
• 7:16
  to
• 7:16
  break.
• 7:17
  The
• 7:17
  enjoyment
• 7:18
  that
• 7:18
  you
• 7:18
  have
• 7:18
  from
• 7:18
  that
• 7:18
  is
• 7:19
  going
• 7:19
  to
• 7:19
  fade.
• 7:20
  But
• 7:21
  think
• 7:21
  about
• 7:21
  seeds.
• 7:21
  What
• 7:21
  do
• 7:22
  seeds
• 7:22
  do?
• 7:22
  My
• 7:22
  grandfather
• 7:23
  taught
• 7:23
  me
• 7:23
  this
• 7:23
  lesson
• 7:23
  in
• 7:24
  his
• 7:24
  garden.
• 7:24
  We
• 7:24
  can
• 7:24
  use
• 7:25
  that
• 7:25
  now.
• 7:25
  Seeds
• 7:26
  grow.
• 7:28
  So
• 7:28
  before
• 7:28
  upgrading
• 7:28
  that
• 7:29
  phone
• 7:29
  or
• 7:29
  your
• 7:29
  new
• 7:30
  car,
• 7:30
  ask
• 7:30
  yourself
• 7:31
  this.
• 7:31
  Could
• 7:31
  this
• 7:31
  money
• 7:32
  plant
• 7:32
  seeds
• 7:32
  for
• 7:33
  eternity
• 7:33
  instead?
• 7:35
  Yeah,
• 7:35
  that's
• 7:35
  a
• 7:35
  challenging
• 7:36
  question
• 7:36
  even,
• 7:37
  isn't
• 7:37
  it?
• 7:37
  Because
• 7:38
  even
• 7:38
  small
• 7:38
  gifts.
• 7:39
  Think
• 7:39
  about
• 7:39
  this.
• 7:39
  Just
• 7:40
  $25
• 7:41
  a
• 7:41
  month
• 7:41
  can
• 7:41
  feed
• 7:42
  the
• 7:42
  hungry,
• 7:43
  can
• 7:43
  spread
• 7:44
  the
• 7:44
  gospel.
• 7:45
  And
• 7:45
  hey,
• 7:46
  when
• 7:46
  you're
• 7:46
  gone,
• 7:47
  that
• 7:47
  legacy
• 7:48
  fund
• 7:48
  can
• 7:48
  keep
• 7:49
  planting
• 7:49
  seeds.
• 7:49
  You'll
• 7:50
  never
• 7:50
  see
• 7:50
  this
• 7:50
  side
• 7:50
  of
• 7:51
  heaven.
• 7:52
  Because
• 7:52
  here's
• 7:53
  the
• 7:53
  truth.
• 7:54
  Seeds
• 7:54
  multiply
• 7:55
  in
• 7:55
  the
• 7:55
  harvests.
• 7:57
  As
• 7:57
  my
• 7:57
  wife
• 7:58
  always
• 7:58
  reminds
• 7:58
  me,
• 7:58
  Ralph,
• 7:59
  stuff
• 7:59
  just
• 7:59
  takes
• 7:59
  up
• 8:00
  space.
• 8:01
  So
• 8:01
  plant
• 8:02
  those
• 8:02
  seeds
• 8:02
  today.
• 8:03
  How
• 8:04
  about
• 8:04
  we
• 8:04
  pray
• 8:04
  together?
• 8:05
  Father,
• 8:06
  we
• 8:06
  just
• 8:06
  thank
• 8:06
  you
• 8:06
  for
• 8:06
  the
• 8:07
  opportunity
• 8:07
  to
• 8:08
  look
• 8:08
  at
• 8:08
  investments
• 8:09
  from
• 8:09
  an
• 8:09
  eternal
• 8:10
  perspective.
• 8:11
  We
• 8:11
  ask
• 8:11
  you
• 8:11
  to
• 8:11
  help
• 8:12
  us
• 8:12
  find
• 8:12
  perspective,
• 8:13
  to
• 8:13
  value
• 8:13
  these
• 8:14
  eternal
• 8:14
  returns
• 8:15
  over
• 8:15
  the
• 8:15
  earthly
• 8:15
  ones.
• 8:16
  Lord,
• 8:16
  it's
• 8:16
  so
• 8:17
  easy
• 8:17
  for
• 8:17
  us
• 8:17
  to
• 8:17
  get
• 8:17
  stuck
• 8:18
  in
• 8:18
  our
• 8:18
  returns
• 8:18
  and
• 8:19
  how
• 8:19
  much
• 8:19
  we
• 8:19
  have
• 8:19
  saved,
• 8:20
  Lord.
• 8:20
  But
• 8:21
  challenge
• 8:21
  us,
• 8:22
  help
• 8:22
  us
• 8:22
  to
• 8:22
  see
• 8:23
  the
• 8:23
  eternal
• 8:23
  impact
• 8:24
  of
• 8:24
  these
• 8:24
  things.
• 8:25
  Show
• 8:25
  us
• 8:25
  where
• 8:26
  we
• 8:26
  can
• 8:26
  invest
• 8:26
  in
• 8:27
  people
• 8:27
  and
• 8:27
  not
• 8:27
  prosperity
• 8:28
  things,
• 8:28
  but
• 8:28
  just
• 8:29
  in
• 8:29
  your
• 8:29
  kingdom,
• 8:29
  Lord.
• 8:31
  And
• 8:31
  give
• 8:31
  us
• 8:31
  freedom
• 8:32
  from
• 8:32
  fear
• 8:32
  of
• 8:32
  losing
• 8:33
  earthly
• 8:33
  wealth
• 8:34
  in
• 8:34
  exchange
• 8:35
  for
• 8:35
  the
• 8:35
  things
• 8:35
  that
• 8:36
  matter
• 8:36
  and
• 8:36
  the
• 8:36
  things
• 8:37
  that
• 8:37
  are
• 8:37
  going
• 8:37
  to
• 8:37
  matter
• 8:37
  when
• 8:37
  we're
• 8:38
  gone
• 8:38
  from
• 8:38
  this.
• 8:38
  Lord,
• 8:38
  we
• 8:39
  ask
• 8:39
  all
• 8:39
  of
• 8:39
  these
• 8:39
  things
• 8:40
  in
• 8:40
  the
• 8:40
  name
• 8:40
  of
• 8:41
  Jesus.
• 8:42
  Amen.
• 8:43
  All
• 8:43
  right,
• 8:43
  well,
• 8:43
  here's
• 8:43
  your
• 8:44
  action
• 8:44
  step
• 8:44
  for
• 8:44
  today.
• 8:45
  I
• 8:45
  want
• 8:45
  you
• 8:45
  to
• 8:46
  invest
• 8:46
  in
• 8:46
  attorney
• 8:47
  just
• 8:47
  one
• 8:48
  way
• 8:48
  this
• 8:48
  month.
• 8:49
  Just
• 8:49
  pick
• 8:49
  one
• 8:50
  thing.
• 8:50
  It
• 8:50
  could
• 8:50
  be
• 8:51
  giving
• 8:51
  to
• 8:51
  a
• 8:51
  mission.
• 8:52
  It
• 8:52
  could
• 8:52
  be
• 8:52
  helping
• 8:53
  somebody
• 8:53
  in
• 8:53
  need
• 8:53
  or
• 8:54
  hey,
• 8:54
  even
• 8:54
  volunteering
• 8:55
  your
• 8:55
  time.
• 8:55
  See,
• 8:56
  it
• 8:56
  doesn't
• 8:56
  take
• 8:56
  money.
• 8:56
  That's
• 8:56
  a
• 8:57
  lot
• 8:57
  of
• 8:57
  people
• 8:57
  get
• 8:57
  hung
• 8:57
  up
• 8:57
  on
• 8:58
  this.
• 8:58
  It
• 8:58
  doesn't
• 8:59
  have
• 8:59
  to
• 8:59
  be
• 8:59
  money.
• 8:59
  It
• 9:00
  can
• 9:00
  be
• 9:00
  your
• 9:00
  time.
• 9:00
  It
• 9:01
  can
• 9:01
  be
• 9:01
  reaching
• 9:01
  out
• 9:02
  to
• 9:02
  somebody
• 9:02
  who
• 9:03
  just
• 9:03
  needs
• 9:03
  some
• 9:03
  encouragement.
• 9:04
  And
• 9:04
  I'm
• 9:04
  going
• 9:04
  to
• 9:04
  tell
• 9:04
  you
• 9:05
  right
• 9:05
  now,
• 9:05
  write
• 9:05
  it
• 9:05
  down.
• 9:06
  I
• 9:06
  believe
• 9:06
  what
• 9:06
  gets
• 9:07
  measured
• 9:07
  gets
• 9:07
  done.
• 9:08
  So
• 9:08
  try
• 9:08
  moving
• 9:08
  just
• 9:09
  $1
• 9:09
  or
• 9:10
  one
• 9:10
  hour
• 9:10
  of
• 9:10
  your
• 9:10
  time
• 9:11
  from
• 9:11
  your
• 9:11
  retirement
• 9:12
  savings
• 9:12
  to
• 9:12
  this
• 9:12
  cause.
• 9:14
  And
• 9:14
  as
• 9:14
  you
• 9:14
  check
• 9:15
  your
• 9:15
  investments,
• 9:15
  ask
• 9:16
  yourself
• 9:16
  this
• 9:17
  and
• 9:17
  hey,
• 9:17
  this
• 9:17
  is
• 9:17
  a
• 9:18
  tough
• 9:18
  one.
• 9:19
  What
• 9:19
  story
• 9:19
  will
• 9:20
  this
• 9:20
  account
• 9:20
  tell
• 9:21
  in
• 9:21
  eternity
• 9:22
  about
• 9:22
  my
• 9:23
  choices?
• 9:24
  See,
• 9:25
  eternity
• 9:25
  is
• 9:25
  the
• 9:25
  greatest
• 9:26
  return
• 9:26
  on
• 9:26
  your
• 9:26
  investments.
• 9:27
  We
• 9:27
  can
• 9:28
  talk
• 9:28
  about
• 9:28
  return
• 9:28
  on
• 9:29
  investments.
• 9:29
  We
• 9:29
  can
• 9:29
  talk
• 9:29
  about
• 9:30
  how
• 9:30
  much
• 9:30
  you're
• 9:30
  earning
• 9:31
  in
• 9:31
  the
• 9:31
  market.
• 9:31
  But
• 9:31
  listen,
• 9:32
  eternity,
• 9:33
  that
• 9:34
  eternal
• 9:34
  return,
• 9:35
  is
• 9:35
  the
• 9:35
  greatest
• 9:36
  return
• 9:36
  you'll
• 9:36
  ever
• 9:37
  see.
• 9:37
  And
• 9:38
  with
• 9:38
  God's
• 9:38
  wisdom
• 9:39
  and
• 9:39
  prayer
• 9:40
  and
• 9:40
  thoughtfulness,
• 9:41
  you
• 9:41
  can
• 9:41
  build
• 9:41
  wealth
• 9:42
  that
• 9:42
  truly
• 9:42
  lasts.
• 9:43
  So
• 9:43
  I
• 9:43
  want
• 9:43
  to
• 9:43
  encourage
• 9:44
  you
• 9:44
  today,
• 9:44
  go
• 9:45
  be
• 9:45
  a
• 9:45
  financially
• 9:46
  confident
• 9:46
  Christian.
• 9:47
  Stay
• 9:47
  financially
• 9:48
  savvy.
• 9:48
  God
• 9:49
  bless
• 9:49
  you.
• 9:49
  And
• 9:49
  you
• 9:50
  have
• 9:50
  a
• 9:50
  great
• 9:50
  day
• 9:50
  today.
