- 0:18Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 0:19Speaker 3: What do you mean by the count?
- 0:20Speaker 2: The count of how many baby chicks have hatched on
- 0:23Speaker 2: my farm? I can I'm like to guess.
- 0:27Speaker 3: I'm going to assume it's eight eight Are you kidding me?
- 0:34Speaker 3: That's exactly how many. I'm not going to say I
- 0:37Speaker 3: have powers, but I do, but I might.
- 0:40Speaker 2: By the way, thank you for listening to the Alabama Show.
- 0:42Speaker 2: I'm Alabama, the girl who has a whole farm, and
- 0:44Speaker 2: I'm a crazy chicken lady, and I am hatching baby
- 0:47Speaker 2: chicks at my house because we do this every spring
- 0:50Speaker 2: and hatched hash days are cool. Have you ever seen
- 0:53Speaker 2: a baby chicken hatch?
- 0:55Speaker 3: No, Alabama, I have not seen. I have a video.
- 0:58Speaker 2: We're going to post it on the Alabama Show. They
- 1:00Speaker 2: look like aliens when they first come out of the egg.
- 1:02Speaker 2: We'll post it. Go follow the Alabama Show. It is
- 1:05Speaker 2: the miracle of life, a baby chick breaking out of
- 1:08Speaker 2: its shell for the first time. And it's cool when
- 1:10Speaker 2: you hatch them yourself. You're the first thing they see,
- 1:12Speaker 2: so they can imprint on you.
- 1:14Speaker 3: And thank you. Their mother. How many of the imprinted
- 1:17Speaker 3: on you?
- 1:17Speaker 2: I don't know all of them. I hope Okay, eight
- 1:22Speaker 2: so far. I got up this morning and one had
- 1:24Speaker 2: hatched overnight. So it's exciting anyway, Good morning, Thank you
- 1:28Speaker 2: for being here listening to the show. Colin. If you
- 1:31Speaker 2: want eight three three five oh one, Bama is the number.
- 1:35Speaker 1: It's what the hell headlines?
- 1:36Speaker 3: What the hell are you talking about?
- 1:38Speaker 1: On the Alabama Show.
- 1:41Speaker 2: A bus driver got fired for allegedly going to the
- 1:44Speaker 2: bathroom in a school bus while driving kids.
- 1:46Speaker 3: Why you multitasking?
- 1:49Speaker 2: This is not multitasking. This is if this really happened.
- 1:53Speaker 2: A seventy one year old school bus driver in Massachusetts
- 1:56Speaker 2: was fired following allegations he pulled over, had to go,
- 2:01Speaker 2: and so he told all the kids to go to
- 2:03Speaker 2: the back of the bus and apparently went to the
- 2:05Speaker 2: bathroom while sitting in the front seat of the bus,
- 2:08Speaker 2: the driver's side seat. So a bottle. I don't know,
- 2:12Speaker 2: you're a guy, you tell me.
- 2:14Speaker 3: I don't know what to think here, So they fired in.
- 2:17Speaker 2: Police are still investigating. We don't have the full report yet,
- 2:21Speaker 2: but they say if he did it, he will get charged.
- 2:24Speaker 1: Why super easy Trivia with the Yella.
- 2:28Speaker 2: Mama show eight three three five o ym Bema is
- 2:31Speaker 2: the number to call the show. Brittany, I know you're
- 2:33Speaker 2: on your way to work. Where do you work?
- 2:35Speaker 3: What do you do working at nursing home?
- 2:38Speaker 1: I've played multiple toms.
- 2:40Speaker 4: I just want to play Blake today.
- 2:41Speaker 1: That what he stopped playing by himself?
- 2:44Speaker 3: Hey, we love that.
- 2:45Speaker 2: What nursing home do you work at? Do you want
- 2:47Speaker 2: to shout them out?
- 2:49Speaker 4: Hendre Tons and Deilvia spring.
- 2:51Speaker 2: Well, thank you for what you do. We appreciate you
- 2:54Speaker 2: all right, you know how it works. Use your name
- 2:56Speaker 2: as your buzzer. I'll ask the question. Question number one, Brittany,
- 3:02Speaker 2: what is a group of fish called producer? Blake col Brittany,
- 3:07Speaker 2: good job? How many legs do spiders have?
- 3:10Speaker 3: Producer blike, Brittany? What is it? Hey? Good job?
- 3:15Speaker 2: And last one for the wind? What kind of animal
- 3:18Speaker 2: is known for building dams? Brittany?
- 3:21Speaker 3: Come on give it to me pretty sure? Blake beaver?
- 3:23Speaker 1: Beaver?
- 3:24Speaker 3: Brittany, No beaver for the wind? Congratulations girl?
- 3:38Speaker 2: You want tickets to Max McNown at Avon del Brewery.
- 3:41Speaker 3: Cool.
- 3:42Speaker 1: It's three things you need to know.
- 3:44Speaker 2: The show, Birmingham is what's awesome because we just got
- 3:47Speaker 2: our like the whole nation's first FIFA arena opened in
- 3:52Speaker 2: Birmingham right before the twenty twenty six Men's World Cup
- 3:56Speaker 2: kicks off. So FIFA decided to come to the Magic
- 3:59Speaker 2: City and it's it's not an April fool's joke. This
- 4:01Speaker 2: is a real thing. We got our own FIFA arena.
- 4:05Speaker 2: Costco is working on speeding up customer check out and
- 4:08Speaker 2: they started this pre scan system that basically it's employees
- 4:12Speaker 2: scanning your cart while you're waiting in line, so when
- 4:14Speaker 2: you get to the register, you just scan and pay
- 4:16Speaker 2: and go. People are still saying though it's not as
- 4:19Speaker 2: fast as Sam's Club that lets you scan and go,
- 4:22Speaker 2: And as a scanning goer at Sam's myself, I.
- 4:25Speaker 3: Could probably agree.
- 4:26Speaker 2: I love that system, but Costco's trying to catch up.
- 4:29Speaker 2: They're trying to make it faster. At Chieran turned down
- 4:33Speaker 2: a Fortnite deal a little Fortnite buddy, Why won't he
- 4:36Speaker 2: do that? Because he doesn't play. They reached out to
- 4:38Speaker 2: him for a collaboration. He said, no, I don't play
- 4:40Speaker 2: the game, so he didn't want to be a part
- 4:41Speaker 2: of it. Remember Sabrina Carpenter was on Fortnite people were
- 4:44Speaker 2: doing dirty stuff too. But what he did do instead
- 4:47Speaker 2: he reached out. He had his people reach out to Pokemon,
- 4:50Speaker 2: and that was how he had Celestial, which was in
- 4:54Speaker 2: the closing credits for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. That happened
- 4:58Speaker 2: in twenty twenty two. But he we're talking about it
- 5:00Speaker 2: now because he was on a podcast talking about it.
- 5:03Speaker 2: At Shecheron said, no, I want to Fortnite, but I
- 5:04Speaker 2: like Pokemon Pickachu.
- 5:06Speaker 3: Where you at? This hurts This actually hurts me.
- 5:10Speaker 2: That's three things you need to know, Producer Blake, for
- 5:12Speaker 2: our poor little gamer. More at Thealabama Show dot com, we're.
- 5:17Speaker 1: Listening to the Alabama Show on demand.
- 5:19Speaker 2: I'm really afraid that I'm gonna have an animal control.
- 5:21Speaker 3: Show up at my house. This seems like a common
- 5:24Speaker 3: occurrence for I know.
- 5:26Speaker 2: By the way, thank you for listening to the Alabama Show.
- 5:28Speaker 3: I'm Alabama on Producer Blake. That's me.
- 5:30Speaker 2: My freaking peacocks have made my neighborhood Facebook page for
- 5:34Speaker 2: the third time.
- 5:34Speaker 3: In a week. What did you do this time?
- 5:37Speaker 2: Hiila, it's the peacocks. They keep roaming the neighborhood. I
- 5:40Speaker 2: can't keep them in my front yard. I thought, remember
- 5:43Speaker 2: last year. This all started on a stupid farm auction page.
- 5:46Speaker 2: I've been on a peacock for my birthday and I
- 5:48Speaker 2: got it, and now I have ten because lady died
- 5:51Speaker 2: and I inherited hers, and they've been roaming all in
- 5:54Speaker 2: the neighborhood.
- 5:55Speaker 3: And here's the problem.
- 5:57Speaker 2: I live in the country and on the backside at
- 6:00Speaker 2: my neighborhood, like the houses are spread far apart, and
- 6:04Speaker 2: those neighbors all have chickens and stuff and they don't care.
- 6:08Speaker 2: But on the other side of my house and neighborhood
- 6:11Speaker 2: is just a street with normal houses that are like
- 6:15Speaker 2: on half acre plots, and they're close together. And when
- 6:19Speaker 2: the peacocks yell at night, it goes, but it's so loud.
- 6:26Speaker 2: And somebody posted a picture of one of my peacocks
- 6:28Speaker 2: and they went, this is in my yard. Does it
- 6:30Speaker 2: belong to anybody? And all the comments where people going
- 6:34Speaker 2: They're so loud, they're staying by my window at night.
- 6:37Speaker 3: I need to get into this group so I can
- 6:39Speaker 3: write you out.
- 6:40Speaker 1: No.
- 6:40Speaker 2: I did, so what I did yesterday I posted a
- 6:44Speaker 2: photo in the group of one of my peacocks. I went, hey, everybody,
- 6:48Speaker 2: I've seen some of y'alls post about these little disco
- 6:51Speaker 2: raptors showing up in your yard their mine. I would
- 6:55Speaker 2: like to formally apologize. I've been trying to wrangle them.
- 6:58Speaker 2: It's mating season. So as a nuisense fee for the noise,
- 7:03Speaker 2: I would like to offer anybody in the neighborhood free
- 7:05Speaker 2: eggs for my chickens.
- 7:08Speaker 3: Has anyone taking you up on this offer?
- 7:10Speaker 4: Oh?
- 7:10Speaker 3: I had to drive.
- 7:12Speaker 2: I had to drive all over the neighborhood yesterday and
- 7:15Speaker 2: meet people in the neighborhood handing on eggs. And then
- 7:18Speaker 2: at some point yesterday yesterday morning, while we were on
- 7:21Speaker 2: the air, another girl messaged me and she goes, uh,
- 7:26Speaker 2: when are peacocks is on my roof of my house?
- 7:29Speaker 3: I would be using this for free eggs for a
- 7:32Speaker 3: little bit. They don't even have to be in my yard.
- 7:35Speaker 5: If I know you've got peacocks and they're a nuisance,
- 7:38Speaker 5: I am telling you.
- 7:40Speaker 3: Every day they've gone viral.
- 7:41Speaker 2: Like all the people in the comments when I posted,
- 7:43Speaker 2: they were like, I.
- 7:44Speaker 3: Hope they show up in my yard.
- 7:46Speaker 2: Then there were all these people going they were in
- 7:47Speaker 2: my DFT driveway this morning. One girl was like, it
- 7:50Speaker 2: was on my front porch When I pulled up, So
- 7:51Speaker 2: I've been trying to make a map of where all
- 7:54Speaker 2: these suckers are going.
- 7:55Speaker 3: I don't know what to do.
- 7:56Speaker 2: Like, I know there's gonna be somebody that's gonna call
- 7:59Speaker 2: animal control. I feel like I have just introduced an
- 8:03Speaker 2: invasive species of birds into my neighborhood, and pretty soon
- 8:08Speaker 2: we're gonna have peacock open season and they're gonna be
- 8:11Speaker 2: hunting these birds.
- 8:12Speaker 3: I don't know what to do.
- 8:13Speaker 5: It's starting to sound like you might be the invasive
- 8:15Speaker 5: species because you keep bringing things in.
- 8:18Speaker 3: They're like, you're like Joe exotic.
- 8:20Speaker 6: I was like, I know, I don't know if i'd
- 8:22Speaker 6: call you that, but oh my gosh, I just don't
- 8:26Speaker 6: understand how you go from you know, these are gonna
- 8:30Speaker 6: be cute birds to.
- 8:32Speaker 5: Paying off people in depth eggs to be like, sh.
- 8:37Speaker 3: We don't talk about this. Yes, that's what I'm doing.
- 8:41Speaker 2: I know not many people have this problem with peacocks,
- 8:45Speaker 2: but call the show eight three three five oh one, Bama.
- 8:47Speaker 2: If you live by somebody that's got a loud, barking
- 8:49Speaker 2: dog or annoying pets, or if you have ever lived
- 8:53Speaker 2: by a farm.
- 8:54Speaker 3: Also, people were like, we.
- 8:55Speaker 2: Didn't know what that noise was and we finally figured out.
- 8:58Speaker 3: It was peacocks.
- 8:58Speaker 2: They thought it was a by and they wouldn't let
- 9:01Speaker 2: their dogs out for days. It's a whole thing. You're
- 9:04Speaker 2: that annoying neighbor called the show. I wait, three thirty five,
- 9:06Speaker 2: I one Bama.
- 9:08Speaker 1: You were listening to the Alabama Show. The following program
- 9:11Speaker 1: is one Demand eight.
- 9:13Speaker 2: Three thirty five, I y, and Bama is the number
- 9:15Speaker 2: to call the show.
- 9:16Speaker 3: Good morning? Who's this?
- 9:17Speaker 4: This is Stirling I called before a long time ago.
- 9:20Speaker 2: Okay, that's awesome, Thank you. We appreciate you for listening.
- 9:24Speaker 2: Are you one of my neighbors or my peacocks?
- 9:27Speaker 4: Bucky one of your neighbors. Oh but I never lived
- 9:30Speaker 4: in a farm, but I lived. I never lived near
- 9:32Speaker 4: a farm, but I lived near a picked. I don't
- 9:36Speaker 4: know if that goes.
- 9:36Speaker 2: Oh my god, what did that smell like?
- 9:39Speaker 4: It is like every picture of every single horror movie.
- 9:42Speaker 4: But it's just let's just say a four month. I
- 9:46Speaker 4: never ate beef again four months. But then I could
- 9:50Speaker 4: have resisted. I started in porkages.
- 9:52Speaker 2: I would not because I would have nightmares because you
- 9:54Speaker 2: could probably hear the pig screaming.
- 9:56Speaker 3: Oh I can't that is though you can't.
- 10:00Speaker 4: That's I did to hear. Please scream. Okay, but one
- 10:04Speaker 4: the wind changes directions.
- 10:09Speaker 2: You don't live next to it, now, do you? Did
- 10:11Speaker 2: you move?
- 10:12Speaker 4: No? No, I moved. This was in South Dakota here
- 10:15Speaker 4: on Lamm. I don't live near any of that.
- 10:17Speaker 3: Okay, Well that's I had nightmare for both.
- 10:18Speaker 4: I almost got pollster bag stress for a bit, but
- 10:21Speaker 4: I did it.
- 10:22Speaker 2: Well, man, I'm glad you survived about sterling. Thank you
- 10:25Speaker 2: for calling.
- 10:28Speaker 1: It's three things you need to know.
- 10:32Speaker 2: He Now that it's camping season, Oak Mountain just got
- 10:35Speaker 2: new glamping tents so you could like camp and be
- 10:38Speaker 2: comfortable because it's got real beds, electricity.
- 10:41Speaker 3: And air conditioners.
- 10:42Speaker 2: They're not going to be sweating over the summer. I'm
- 10:44Speaker 2: just saying, if you want to camp in a little
- 10:47Speaker 2: bit of comfort, Mountains got some glamping tins. If you
- 10:51Speaker 2: missed it, yesterday, Artemis two launched from the Kennedy Space
- 10:55Speaker 2: Center in Florida. This is a historic mission and it's
- 10:59Speaker 2: a big deal because this will be the first time
- 11:02Speaker 2: astronauts have been in the vicinity of the Moon in
- 11:04Speaker 2: fifty years. Four astronauts went up and the mission is
- 11:09Speaker 2: expected and hopefully and could travel further from Earth than
- 11:12Speaker 2: any human has ever gone from Earth. So this would
- 11:16Speaker 2: be breaking the Apollo programs distance records.
- 11:19Speaker 3: So we'll just wait and see. But they launched yesterday.
- 11:22Speaker 2: It was a successful launch.
- 11:23Speaker 3: It was awesome.
- 11:25Speaker 2: Here are the April Fools jokes posted by popular companies yesterday.
- 11:29Speaker 2: If you did not know it was fake, all these
- 11:30Speaker 2: things I'm about to tell you are not real. They
- 11:32Speaker 2: were April fools. Did you see Raising Canes had a
- 11:35Speaker 2: chicken sauce flavored cola.
- 11:37Speaker 3: No, but that's awesome. It's not real.
- 11:39Speaker 2: Chicken sauce flavored coke not real. Ugs posted about an
- 11:43Speaker 2: umbrella for your ugs called the Ugbrella to keep your
- 11:46Speaker 2: ugs try in the rain. Top Bramen had top Ramen butterfinger,
- 11:52Speaker 2: which is rawmen with butterfinger chunks in it.
- 11:55Speaker 3: That does not sound appetize. It sounds terrible.
- 11:57Speaker 2: And that was the April fools posted the Hinz Macha Mayo.
- 12:02Speaker 2: It was like green mayo, like Macha tea, you know
- 12:04Speaker 2: green tea.
- 12:09Speaker 3: They were all fake.
- 12:10Speaker 2: An ice cream soup from Baskin Robin's all fake ice.
- 12:13Speaker 3: Cream soup, ice cream soup.
- 12:15Speaker 2: That's three things you need to know more at the
- 12:17Speaker 2: Alabama Show dot com.
- 12:19Speaker 1: You were listening to the Alabama Show on dement.
- 12:22Speaker 2: Okay, I may or may not tear up during this
- 12:25Speaker 2: good news story, but I promise it's good news.
- 12:27Speaker 3: Okay.
- 12:28Speaker 2: There was a canine dog at the University of Alabama
- 12:32Speaker 2: named Boomer. Right, he looks like a yellow lab. I'm
- 12:35Speaker 2: not sure what he looks like. This is him and
- 12:37Speaker 2: we'll post a picture on the Alabama Show. Boomer is
- 12:40Speaker 2: his name. He would sniff out bombs. He retired and
- 12:44Speaker 2: they threw a retirement party, but his handler had to
- 12:47Speaker 2: retire him because he got diagnosed with cancer.
- 12:51Speaker 3: Oh man, that's rough.
- 12:53Speaker 2: And I'm scrolling through looking at the photos of his party.
- 12:56Speaker 2: They made him a giant dog cake made out of
- 12:59Speaker 2: kibble and peanut butter, shaped like a bone and let
- 13:01Speaker 2: him sniff it out and get it, and the whole
- 13:04Speaker 2: police department showed up and they gave him a whole
- 13:08Speaker 2: bunch of tennis balls and all kinds of stuff.
- 13:11Speaker 3: I love that. That's actually a really good one. That's
- 13:13Speaker 3: a good's awesome. That's a good one.
- 13:16Speaker 2: Could you imagine being his partner and having to, okay, retiring,
- 13:21Speaker 2: This is like all Yeller.
- 13:23Speaker 3: He's going to get the help he needs.
- 13:24Speaker 2: Boomer, I know, Boomer, you are what's awesome?
- 13:28Speaker 1: You're listening to The Alabama Show on demand.
- 13:31Speaker 4: I got a promotion at work.
- 13:33Speaker 2: Who yeah, what were you promoted to? Are you people's boss? Now?
- 13:40Speaker 4: Yes, I will be a service advisor for the whole
- 13:43Speaker 4: state of Alabama.
- 13:44Speaker 2: Is there somebody that works there that you don't like that?
- 13:47Speaker 2: You're like, yep, I'm definitely going to be their worst nightmare.
- 13:50Speaker 3: Now, maybe maybe they listen to your show. I know,
- 13:55Speaker 3: I know you too well. Andrew. That is awesome.
- 14:00Speaker 2: Are you what are you gonna do with the money
- 14:02Speaker 2: you got for that race?
- 14:07Speaker 3: Good answer? Answer.
- 14:09Speaker 2: All of a sudden, we know him saying that because
- 14:11Speaker 2: his wife listens to the show, but we all know
- 14:13Speaker 2: he's really going to go buy some used cars that
- 14:15Speaker 2: he sees on the side.
- 14:16Speaker 3: Of the road. And good answer.
- 14:20Speaker 2: That's great, Andrew, congrats, I'm gonna buy some more broke
- 14:24Speaker 2: down boat. There we go.
- 14:25Speaker 3: Good answer. Good love me, buddy, congrats, that's great.
- 14:29Speaker 4: I love y'alla.
- 14:31Speaker 1: The Alabama Show. It's free on the iHeartRadio app.
- 14:34Speaker 2: I'm dying and I'm trying not to laugh at my buddy.
- 14:38Speaker 3: Producer Blake.
- 14:38Speaker 2: I'm not laughing at you.
- 14:39Speaker 3: I'm laughing with you. What are you laughing at me?
- 14:42Speaker 4: With?
- 14:43Speaker 3: Thanks for listening to the Alabama Show. I'm Alabama with
- 14:46Speaker 3: Producer Blake.
- 14:47Speaker 2: If you would ever have to go to therapy and
- 14:50Speaker 2: be given a book.
- 14:51Speaker 3: I want you to call the show. What would the
- 14:52Speaker 3: title of that book be? Eight three three five I one, Obama?
- 14:56Speaker 2: I say three three five x one two two six two.
- 14:58Speaker 2: Because Producer Blake, you've started going to the correct Tell
- 15:01Speaker 2: me how it's been going so far. What are some
- 15:03Speaker 2: things you've learned about yourself.
- 15:07Speaker 5: I have some issues that I could not figure out
- 15:11Speaker 5: on my own, and I am learning.
- 15:14Speaker 2: I'm very proud of you for talking about this openly
- 15:16Speaker 2: on the air, because I think a lot of men
- 15:18Speaker 2: in the South are ashamed to talk about therapy. I
- 15:21Speaker 2: love therapy. I've gone to therapy. It's great to go
- 15:24Speaker 2: learn about yourself. And going to therapy does not mean
- 15:28Speaker 2: something's wrong with you. It means you're just We all
- 15:31Speaker 2: have issues, correct, I would say that. So I'm proud
- 15:34Speaker 2: of you.
- 15:35Speaker 3: Thank you. And what am I holding in my hand?
- 15:37Speaker 2: Your therapist told you to read this book.
- 15:39Speaker 3: Yes, she said, go order this book.
- 15:43Speaker 5: Read it, and you'll have a better understanding of how
- 15:46Speaker 5: to handle situations in your life.
- 15:48Speaker 2: It's called stop walking on Eggshells.
- 15:51Speaker 3: Yes, which I feel like is something that happens to
- 15:54Speaker 3: you at work. Is this book about me? No, there's not.
- 15:57Speaker 5: Everything's about you.
- 16:01Speaker 3: Well, today it's going to be about me.
- 16:04Speaker 2: Do you feel like you are walking on eggshells to
- 16:07Speaker 2: avoid the next confrontation?
- 16:09Speaker 3: Have you started reading this yet?
- 16:11Speaker 2: No?
- 16:12Speaker 3: I am going to start today.
- 16:13Speaker 2: Ooh And here it's emotional limits m hm, yes, testing
