- 0:00Speaker 1: What's up, everyone, and welcome to another episode of the
- 0:03Speaker 1: Epstein Chronicles. So I don't think it's any secret to
- 0:07Speaker 1: anybody that's been listening to the podcast for any period
- 0:10Speaker 1: of time that I'm not exactly what you would call
- 0:13Speaker 1: a member of the Todd Blanche fan club. And the
- 0:17Speaker 1: more information we get, the more we hear about this dude,
- 0:20Speaker 1: the less I like him. And the fact that he's
- 0:23Speaker 1: stalling the Epstein investigation and doing it so brazenly is
- 0:27Speaker 1: just unbelievable to me. And what's even more unbelievable is
- 0:32Speaker 1: that we actually have senators out there that are going
- 0:34Speaker 1: to confirm this dude, because you know that's coming. I
- 0:38Speaker 1: don't want anybody to get any kind of you know, excitement,
- 0:43Speaker 1: going only to have it come crashing down. This guy's
- 0:46Speaker 1: going to get confirmed. Those senators, they only dance to
- 0:50Speaker 1: one tune, and that tune is the one being played
- 0:54Speaker 1: by Donald Trump. So if we think that these senators
- 0:57Speaker 1: are going to come in and save the day, I
- 0:59Speaker 1: think going to be left highly disappointed when all is
- 1:02Speaker 1: said and done, because I believe that Todd Blanche is
- 1:05Speaker 1: going to get confirmed, and I also believe that he
- 1:07Speaker 1: is highly unqualified for the job. Today's article was published
- 1:11Speaker 1: by Raw Story and the headline Todd Blanch accused of
- 1:14Speaker 1: withholding huge keys to new Ghlaine Maxwell charges. This article
- 1:19Speaker 1: was authored by David Edwards. Acting Attorney General. Todd Blanche
- 1:23Speaker 1: is withholding foreign language EPSTEIN documents that could be used
- 1:27Speaker 1: to bring new charges against convicted sex trafficker Glaine Maxwell.
- 1:31Speaker 1: A legal analyst has warned, Oh, there's no doubt about it.
- 1:36Speaker 1: All those documents they say are unresponsive or duplicative. I
- 1:40Speaker 1: have my doubts. And if they were really being transparent,
- 1:44Speaker 1: they just release them. Right. If they're duplicative, release them
- 1:47Speaker 1: and let us see. But instead all we get is pushback.
- 1:51Speaker 1: It gets called the hoax. They tell us to move on.
- 1:54Speaker 1: They say that it's just some kind of hit job
- 1:57Speaker 1: on President Trump, when we all, well, no, it's something
- 2:00Speaker 1: much larger than that. And then you add on top
- 2:03Speaker 1: of all of that a guy like Todd Blanche that's
- 2:05Speaker 1: willing to do whatever the president wants him to do,
- 2:08Speaker 1: and we got ourselves quite the problem. Former ms NOW
- 2:13Speaker 1: anchor and attorney Katie Fang, who personally sued Blanche over
- 2:17Speaker 1: EPSTEIN file compliance and won a court order forcing him
- 2:20Speaker 1: to act made the accusation on our YouTube channel. Her
- 2:24Speaker 1: analysis was prompted by the death of modeling scout Daniel
- 2:28Speaker 1: say Ed, sixty nine, found dead Monday at his home
- 2:32Speaker 1: in the Paris suburb of Colomb's. BBC news were reported,
- 2:36Speaker 1: and I still have a lot of questions about that.
- 2:39Speaker 1: We're certainly not done talking about Daniel say Ed, but
- 2:42Speaker 1: I'm trying to gather more information so that we have
- 2:44Speaker 1: a good baseline. I think that we've come to a
- 2:48Speaker 1: point with that story as of now where we're pretty
- 2:51Speaker 1: caught up. There's not much out there as far as information,
- 2:55Speaker 1: and obviously, once we have something to bite our teeth into,
- 2:59Speaker 1: we'll get that added to the catalog, because there's still
- 3:01Speaker 1: a big story there. I just don't think there's enough
- 3:04Speaker 1: information to really dive in yet. As far as you
- 3:07Speaker 1: know an episode now behind the scenes, you better believe
- 3:11Speaker 1: I'm digging, especially considering the circumstances. But I think that
- 3:16Speaker 1: Kadie Fang is certainly onto something. How many of these
- 3:19Speaker 1: files are in a different language, How many of those
- 3:22Speaker 1: files have not been released. Sayed was under French investigation
- 3:29Speaker 1: for allegedly helping ron Epstein's international sex trafficking network French
- 3:33Speaker 1: authorities had never interviewed him before he died. BBC News
- 3:37Speaker 1: reported Fang argued as death made the Justice Department's handling
- 3:41Speaker 1: of the case more urgent, not less. Well, this is
- 3:44Speaker 1: the goal, and I hate to keep saying it, but
- 3:46Speaker 1: this is the goal. They want people to pass away,
- 3:49Speaker 1: they want evidence to be destroyed or lost, and they
- 3:52Speaker 1: want people to move on. That's why they're not pursuing
- 3:55Speaker 1: it the way they should. That's why it's not the
- 3:58Speaker 1: biggest story in the whole world still, And unfortunately, it's
- 4:01Speaker 1: a very effective strategy. Look at how many important people
- 4:05Speaker 1: in this story have passed on. I mean, from Jeffrey
- 4:08Speaker 1: Epstein to Jean Luke Brunel to Daniel si Ed to
- 4:12Speaker 1: Virginia Roberts. A lot of people who knew a whole
- 4:17Speaker 1: lot about Jeffrey Epstein. But I'm sure it's just a coincidence, right,
- 4:23Speaker 1: According to Fang, the documents at the center of her
- 4:25Speaker 1: accusation are foreign language materials from the Justice Department Epstein's investigation,
- 4:31Speaker 1: none of which have been made public. On June twenty fifth,
- 4:34Speaker 1: US District Judge Emmitt Sullivan ordered Blanche to begin reviewing
- 4:38Speaker 1: and producing those materials. Under the Epstein Files Transparency Act,
- 4:42Speaker 1: a bipartisan law Trump signed in November twenty twenty five
- 4:47Speaker 1: requiring the full release of Epstein related records. Had his
- 4:51Speaker 1: arm twisted, and if it wasn't veto proof, he probably
- 4:55Speaker 1: would have vetoed it. And I think that's just damning.
- 5:00Speaker 1: Imagine having a president that would veto a bill like that.
- 5:03Speaker 1: It's hard to wrap your mind around it. But here
- 5:06Speaker 1: we are. Blanche missed the July second deadline. In a
- 5:11Speaker 1: court filing that day, the Justice Department argued it was
- 5:15Speaker 1: not practicable to review foreign language documents and that the
- 5:19Speaker 1: court should not supplant Congress's acceptance of this explanation, which
- 5:23Speaker 1: again is a big middle finger to the judge in
- 5:25Speaker 1: this case, who has told them, I don't give a
- 5:28Speaker 1: damn about your it's not practicable excuse. Fang said, go
- 5:31Speaker 1: ahead and do what you're already seven months behind on.
- 5:35Speaker 1: And that's really what it comes down to. The law
- 5:38Speaker 1: says one thing, the Justice Department is doing another. Now,
- 5:43Speaker 1: what if you tried that? I wonder how that would
- 5:46Speaker 1: work out. I'm guessing not so well. These foreign language
- 5:51Speaker 1: documents that nobody has even seen, they could be big,
- 5:54Speaker 1: huge keys to being able to continue to link and
- 5:57Speaker 1: connect all these sexual predators. She added, Maxwell is serving
- 6:01Speaker 1: a twenty year US prison sentence for sex trafficking, but
- 6:04Speaker 1: has never faced charges in France, where she was born
- 6:07Speaker 1: and old citizenship. Blanche spent nine hours interviewing her over
- 6:12Speaker 1: two days in July of twenty twenty five, according to
- 6:15Speaker 1: NBC News, and gave survivors just ninety minutes after a
- 6:19Speaker 1: three hundred and seventy four day wait. According to a
- 6:22Speaker 1: reconstruction by journalist Tara Palmery, Well, that's true. He had
- 6:27Speaker 1: way more desire to sit down with Maxwell than with
- 6:29Speaker 1: the survivors, and I wonder why. I'm sure it had
- 6:33Speaker 1: nothing to do with a little quid pro quo. Right
- 6:38Speaker 1: one week after those meetings with Maxwell, she was moved
- 6:41Speaker 1: to a low security Florida facility to a minimum security
- 6:44Speaker 1: prison camp and Brian, Texas, NBC News reported, a facility
- 6:49Speaker 1: where a Bureau of Prison's policy generally bars sex offenders.
- 6:54Speaker 1: Bang argued that Maxwell could still face prosecution in France
- 6:57Speaker 1: if investigators can build the case. And that's true, and
- 7:01Speaker 1: she can also face stay charges. Let's not forget dual sovereignty.
- 7:07Speaker 1: Glenn Maxwell has only been prosecuted for crimes that are
- 7:10Speaker 1: specific jurisdictionally to the Southern District of New York. Fang said,
- 7:14Speaker 1: it doesn't mean that she can't be extraduided to France. Well,
- 7:17Speaker 1: I don't know if I want to do that. I'd
- 7:20Speaker 1: much rather Glenn Maxwell rotting in prison here now after
- 7:23Speaker 1: her sentence is up. Cool after the twenty All right,
- 7:27Speaker 1: right over to France for a more jail sentence. Count
- 7:30Speaker 1: me in building that case, Fang has argued requires France
- 7:35Speaker 1: to appoint an investigating judge, a judicial official with the
- 7:38Speaker 1: power to subpoenal witnesses and compel testimony in its ongoing
- 7:42Speaker 1: probe targeting former Elite model's boss Gerald Marie, who Fang
- 7:46Speaker 1: said faces six new victim complaints filed last week. And
- 7:50Speaker 1: we've talked about Gerald Marie for years here and how
- 7:53Speaker 1: he was part of the problem, one of the Jean
- 7:56Speaker 1: Luke Brunel crew, another guy that was friendly with Epstein
- 8:00Speaker 1: and when you know it, another guy accused of being
- 8:03Speaker 1: a disgusting diddler. Maybe the silver lining from him dying
- 8:06Speaker 1: on Monday night is that the investigating judge gets a
- 8:09Speaker 1: sign more quickly. In the Gerald Marie case, Fang said
- 8:13Speaker 1: Sayed was the second Epstein associate to die before French investigators.
- 8:17Speaker 1: Good question on BBC News were reported and yo, one
- 8:22Speaker 1: time around, Okay, maybe a coincidence two times now I
- 8:26Speaker 1: have some doubts. But even if it was a situation
- 8:30Speaker 1: where they both took their own lives, what does that
- 8:33Speaker 1: tell you about what they know, what they're scared of,
- 8:35Speaker 1: what they don't want to say, tells me a whole lot.
- 8:40Speaker 1: Modeling agent Jean lu Brunel was found hanged in a
- 8:42Speaker 1: Paris prison in twenty twenty two while awaiting trial on
- 8:46Speaker 1: a rape and sex trafficking charges. An important link in
- 8:50Speaker 1: the chain has just vanished into thin air without there
- 8:53Speaker 1: ever being a chance to recover the information Daniel Sayed
- 8:56Speaker 1: might have possessed, and given that he was never questioned,
- 9:00Speaker 1: and a former model who gave a deposition to French
- 9:02Speaker 1: police in June told the BBC and that's really what
- 9:05Speaker 1: it comes down to. When you have somebody like Daniel
- 9:07Speaker 1: Sayed who ends up dying mysteriously directly after he's been
- 9:13Speaker 1: named in the Epstein files, people are gonna have questions,
- 9:15Speaker 1: right and now, of course there's gonna be an autopsy,
- 9:18Speaker 1: there's gonna be an investigation and we're gonna be asked
- 9:22Speaker 1: to accept whatever results they come up with. And look,
- 9:26Speaker 1: I'm not saying we should just out of hand not
- 9:28Speaker 1: accept results. We should. If there's some concrete evidence, then yeah,
- 9:33Speaker 1: that should be accepted. My problem is that we never
- 9:35Speaker 1: get concrete evidence. Instead, we get more stories, we get
- 9:39Speaker 1: more bullshit, and it ends up leading to something like this.
- 9:43Speaker 1: And then of course everything that Daniel Sayed might know
- 9:46Speaker 1: or might have known, is gone. So that's one more
- 9:50Speaker 1: piece of a puzzle, one more link of the chain
- 9:53Speaker 1: that we're not gonna have access to, and that makes
- 9:55Speaker 1: things much harder. The less information we have, the harder
- 9:59Speaker 1: it's going to be to put the together. The idea
- 10:02Speaker 1: is to have as much context as possible, and when
- 10:04Speaker 1: a guy like Daniel Saied dies, well that context dies
- 10:08Speaker 1: with them. So I think Katie fangs onto something here.
- 10:11Speaker 1: And there's no reason that the DOJ shouldn't release the
- 10:14Speaker 1: files that are in different languages. Unfortunately, what they should
- 10:17Speaker 1: do and what they will do are two very different things.
- 10:21Speaker 1: So as we get more information from this investigation and
- 10:24Speaker 1: we find out more about the passing of Daniel say Ed,
- 10:27Speaker 1: will get that added to the catalog. All the information
- 10:31Speaker 1: that goes with this episode can be found in the
- 10:34Speaker 1: description box.
