- 3:01Speaker 1: leave a review. That makes a huge difference. I don't
- 3:05Speaker 1: understand algorithm math or algorithm gods, but it helps more
- 3:10Speaker 1: people discover our community and also helps get the word out. Now, guys,
- 3:17Speaker 1: I hope you're ready for today's cases because we got
- 3:21Speaker 1: some doozies. Okay, we got some doozies. Now, I shouldn't
- 3:25Speaker 1: say that, because they're always doozies. Right now. On the
- 3:31Speaker 1: summer day of July twenty ninth, twenty twenty three, forty
- 3:36Speaker 1: one year old Miranda the Law Vanish in Bruton, Alabama. Now.
- 3:42Speaker 1: She was known to friends and family for her strawberry
- 3:45Speaker 1: blonde hair that fell past her shoulders and guys striking
- 3:50Speaker 1: green eyes. I saw one picture, but it was all blurry.
- 3:54Speaker 1: But her eyes, they're just stunning. Now she has some
- 3:58Speaker 1: distinctive tattoos. She has a bird of Paradise stretched across
- 4:02Speaker 1: her back and a set of Chinese characters inked at
- 4:06Speaker 1: the nape of her neck. Now these personal details, they
- 4:10Speaker 1: used to be everyday markers of her individuality, now serve
- 4:14Speaker 1: as and identifying features in the efforts to bring her home. Hello, Kelly,
- 4:22Speaker 1: welcome in. Now. Miranda was originally from Summerdale, Alabama, but
- 4:28Speaker 1: in the days leading up to her disappearance, she had
- 4:31Speaker 1: been in Bruton. She was last known to be traveling
- 4:34Speaker 1: with a man named Terry McCullough. Now together, the two
- 4:38Speaker 1: were reportedly headed towards Awassa, Alabama. Somewhere along that route,
- 4:45Speaker 1: circumstances took a troubling turn. Okay. Account suggests that Miranda
- 4:50Speaker 1: and McCullough were stopped by an Alabama officer, but that
- 4:55Speaker 1: Mickela fled in the vehicle before crashing into gates of
- 4:59Speaker 1: the cemetery. He then fled from the vehicle. Now it's
- 5:03Speaker 1: been reported that Miranda had stayed in the car. Now
- 5:07Speaker 1: there are some confusing reports on whether Miranda's phone was
- 5:10Speaker 1: found in the car or if it was missing. All
- 5:14Speaker 1: we know is that after that day, Miranda has never
- 5:18Speaker 1: been seen again. Now, mister McCullough did have an outstanding warrant,
- 5:23Speaker 1: and that me explain why he fled. Okay, No warrants
- 5:27Speaker 1: for Miranda, nothing like that. But there are no clear
- 5:31Speaker 1: reasons for her to disappear willingly. Okay. The sudden break
- 5:36Speaker 1: in contact raised alarm among her loved ones. As the
- 5:41Speaker 1: hour stretched into days without word, concern deepened into a
- 5:46Speaker 1: fear that I hope none of us have to experience. Now.
- 5:52Speaker 1: Miranda's mother passed away around Christmas that year without knowing
- 5:57Speaker 1: where her daughter was. Guys can't help, but wonder did
- 6:01Speaker 1: heartbreak the stress of not knowing where your child is.
- 6:07Speaker 1: I cannot help, but not imagine that that contributed. Now,
- 6:13Speaker 1: this case left behind more questions and answers. What happened
- 6:17Speaker 1: after mister McCullough abandoned the vehicle? Where did Miranda go?
- 6:22Speaker 1: And why has there been no trace Since? Family members
- 6:26Speaker 1: and the community have called for answers, and they are
- 6:30Speaker 1: clinging to the hope that someone saw something, perhaps a
- 6:34Speaker 1: passer by on the road, a driver near Alassa, or
- 6:38Speaker 1: a resident who might recall an unusual encounter. As of today,
- 6:44Speaker 1: Miranda remains missing. Her family continues to seek information, urging
- 6:50Speaker 1: anyone with knowledge of her whereabouts to step forward. Now,
- 6:55Speaker 1: each poster, each social media share, in each conversation about
- 7:00Speaker 1: her case keeps her story alive. Guys, I've said it before,
- 7:06Speaker 1: and y'all'll probably go on here she goes again. People
- 7:09Speaker 1: don't just vanish off the face of the earth. Somebody
- 7:13Speaker 1: knows something, had to see something, has heard a rumor anything. Okay,
- 7:19Speaker 1: because Miranda Phil y'all is not just a name on
- 7:22Speaker 1: a missing person flyer. She's a daughter, a friend, and
- 7:26Speaker 1: a woman whose life matters now. Until answers are found,
- 7:32Speaker 1: her story will remain one of uncertainty, but also one
- 7:36Speaker 1: of unwavering hope that she will be located in return
- 7:41Speaker 1: to those who love her. Guys, if you would please
- 7:49Speaker 1: head over to our Midday Missing Facebook page share that
- 7:53Speaker 1: missing person flyer with the hashtag Miranda Phil y'all. Let's
- 7:59Speaker 1: get this out there. Let's not let her name be forgotten. Okay. Now,
- 8:07Speaker 1: if you know of or you have a loved one
- 8:10Speaker 1: missing and you're interested, in having their story featured on
- 8:14Speaker 1: an upcoming episode of Midday Missing, or if you want
- 8:19Speaker 1: to join us for a live interview, please contact Amy,
- 8:22Speaker 1: our assistant producer, by emailing Amy at tcwtmedia dot com
- 8:28Speaker 1: or can email me Terry at tcwtmedia dot com. Or guys,
- 8:35Speaker 1: you can send us a DM on our Facebook page. Okay,
- 8:38Speaker 1: believe it or not, we do get those and we
- 8:41Speaker 1: do respond. Now my nose is running, guys, my allergies
- 8:46Speaker 1: are on fire today. Now next, we're going to talk
- 8:51Speaker 1: about a case that has haunted the city of Homewood,
- 8:54Speaker 1: Alabama for sixteen years. Nadia Kersh was born in Russia
- 8:59Speaker 1: on Ul eighteenth, nineteen eighty five. She spent the first
- 9:03Speaker 1: few years of her life in an orphanage before she
- 9:06Speaker 1: was adopted and moved to the US. On November three,
- 9:10Speaker 1: two thousand and eight, Nadia was last seen leaving her
- 9:14Speaker 1: job at the Tria Market around one pm, telling her
- 9:18Speaker 1: coworker she was headed to pick up her one year
- 9:20Speaker 1: old son. When Nadia failed to pick up her son
- 9:25Speaker 1: from daycare, family became instantly concerned and reported Nadia missing.
- 9:31Speaker 1: Great job, family, I you know, no shame to families,
- 9:35Speaker 1: but that's amazing. That you pulled that trigger quickly. Now.
- 9:40Speaker 1: The next day, on November fourth, two thousand and eight,
- 9:44Speaker 1: police located Nadia's car abandoned in Birmingham. Police were able
- 9:51Speaker 1: to confirm Nadia leaving her job on the third and
- 9:55Speaker 1: getting into her call, all which was seen on video cameras. Sadly,
- 10:01Speaker 1: that is the last sighting of Nadia. Nadia has been
- 10:05Speaker 1: described as small and delicate at about five foot three,
- 10:09Speaker 1: weigh one hundred and ten pounds, with long brown hair
- 10:12Speaker 1: and stunning blue eyes. Now, she was known to be
- 10:15Speaker 1: a quiet person who was balancing work and mom, wife. Guys,
- 10:21Speaker 1: look at the smile on her face. To me, she
- 10:23Speaker 1: just looks like such a happy person. Now, three days
- 10:29Speaker 1: after Nadia's last known sighting, her purse was found beneath
- 10:33Speaker 1: the railroad overpassed with all of her belongings except her
- 10:38Speaker 1: car keys. This ramped up police's belief that there was
- 10:42Speaker 1: foul play involved. Same same police, We're on the same page.
- 10:48Speaker 1: Police search for Nadia using canines in search groups, but
- 10:52Speaker 1: she has not been found. In May of twenty ten,
- 10:57Speaker 1: the disappearance of Nadia took a while turn when police
- 11:01Speaker 1: arrested and charged Nadia's ex boyfriend Jacquith Haywood, with the
- 11:07Speaker 1: capital murder of Nadia. Now, Heywood spent fifteen months in jail,
- 11:14Speaker 1: but was released after the judge dismissed the charges. Now,
- 11:20Speaker 1: the judge dismissed these charges because the prosecutor asked for
- 11:23Speaker 1: a postponement, and guys, this judge wasn't having it. He said,
- 11:28Speaker 1: you should have all of your ducks in a row
- 11:30Speaker 1: before arresting anyone and charging him. Which I get what
- 11:36Speaker 1: you're saying, judge. Now, the judge did leave it open
- 11:41Speaker 1: that Heywood can be charged again. Now, I could not
- 11:44Speaker 1: find anything about what evidence they had and why they
- 11:50Speaker 1: arrested him. Okay, I've put in a request for information
- 11:54Speaker 1: a foya. If I get that, I will share it
- 11:57Speaker 1: with you guys, because I was very interested in knowing
- 12:00Speaker 1: what the prosecution had. Sadly, as of today, Nadia has
- 12:05Speaker 1: not been found, charges have not been put against anyone again,
- 12:12Speaker 1: and her family is left wondering where their sweet Nadia
- 12:16Speaker 1: is at. Guys, Let's not forget she left behind a
- 12:19Speaker 1: one year old son one years old. On the website
- 12:25Speaker 1: helped find Nadia dot com. Nadia's mother has posted several
- 12:29Speaker 1: times since her daughter's disappearance, and let me tell you,
- 12:33Speaker 1: I ugly cried while reading some of her posts now.
- 12:38Speaker 1: In the post, her mom, Nancy gives updates on the investigation,
- 12:44Speaker 1: birthday wishes to Nadia, and talks about how Nadia's son, Christopher,
- 12:49Speaker 1: was taken away from them and that they have not
- 12:52Speaker 1: seen him since Nadia went missing. All I gathered is
- 12:57Speaker 1: at Jefferson County Family Court gave the city of Christopher
- 13:01Speaker 1: to someone else based off the post. In November twenty fourteen,
- 13:06Speaker 1: the family was awarded unlimited visitation. However, they chose to
- 13:11Speaker 1: stay away from him due to their family being threatened now.
- 13:16Speaker 1: It then goes on to say that Christopher will have
- 13:19Speaker 1: a new legal family soon, which I just say that
- 13:23Speaker 1: meant he's being adopted. And she then goes on to
- 13:27Speaker 1: say that they were denied the ability to legally adopt him,
- 13:32Speaker 1: which I find crazy but made me wonder is it
- 13:38Speaker 1: because they had adopted Nadia and therefore it didn't met
- 13:43Speaker 1: her son didn't qualify as a biological grandchild. I don't
- 13:48Speaker 1: know if anybody knows about that. I would love to know,
- 13:57Speaker 1: you know. Oh, thank you on top for that super sticker.
- 14:03Speaker 1: Guys in chat, please let me know if you know,
- 14:07Speaker 1: if maybe that's why that an adopted parent whose child
- 14:12Speaker 1: goes missing, why you can't adopt the grandchild, I would think.
- 14:20Speaker 1: I mean, he was one years old, he knew them. Okay,
- 14:25Speaker 1: I don't get it. So the last post on the
- 14:30Speaker 1: page is a letter from Nancy to Nadia's son, and
- 14:34Speaker 1: let me tell you, it's heartbreaking and sweet at the
- 14:37Speaker 1: same time. I was going to read it to you guys,
- 14:40Speaker 1: and I decided I couldn't. I couldn't read it without
- 14:45Speaker 1: ugly crying, and I didn't figure I should be on
- 14:48Speaker 1: camera again with tears and snot running down my face.
- 14:53Speaker 1: But please go over to the website Help Find Nadia
- 14:59Speaker 1: dot Com read it. Please drop the comments under the
- 15:05Speaker 1: video about your thoughts on it. So Lama says that
- 15:09Speaker 1: shouldn't be an issue. I think the same thing, Wama
- 15:12Speaker 1: and so I, and that I just need to know more.
- 15:17Speaker 1: I just need to know more. Okay. Now, As of today,
- 15:21Speaker 1: Nadia Kersh is still missing and is classified as an
- 15:25Speaker 1: endangered missing person, and her family continues to fight for
- 15:30Speaker 1: answer home would police Department ask if you have any
- 15:34Speaker 1: information about Nadia's disappearance to please call them at two
- 15:39Speaker 1: five three three two six' two three. Seven nadia's family
- 15:44Speaker 1: deserves to know what happened to their left one and her,
- 15:47Speaker 1: son even though he's been adopted to, serve to have
- 15:52Speaker 1: his mother found and to know that she did not
- 15:55Speaker 1: leave him on her, Own she did not abandon. Him
- 16:00Speaker 1: so please go to Our facebook page at mid day
- 16:03Speaker 1: missing once again share her missing post or. Fire. Guys
- 16:09Speaker 1: she had a hard start to. Life she grew up
- 16:12Speaker 1: in an, orphanage she got, adopted come to THE, us
- 16:15Speaker 1: and then for this to, happen it hurts my heart
- 16:21Speaker 1: in so many, places so many. Places, now, guys the
- 16:29Speaker 1: weather is finally starting to cool, off or it's starting
- 16:34Speaker 1: to cool off in the, evenings because today we're going
- 16:37Speaker 1: to be one hundred In, austin but we are cooling
- 16:39Speaker 1: off in the. Evening SO i thought this would be
- 16:42Speaker 1: a perfect time for some after dark tips because we
- 16:46Speaker 1: all know heading out after dark can be a lot of,
- 16:49Speaker 1: fun whether it's dinner with, friends a, concert or a
- 16:53Speaker 1: late night errand, however safety should always come. First so
- 16:59Speaker 1: here are some aren't ways to protect. Yourself use the buddy,
- 17:03Speaker 1: system there are safety in. Numbers. Okay, also do not
- 17:08Speaker 1: go running at night by. Yourself don't do. It first of,
- 17:12Speaker 1: all not gonna shame you, runners but why are you? Running? Why, Okay,
- 17:18Speaker 1: now let someone know where you're going and when do
- 17:21Speaker 1: expect you. Back this says really important in the, evenings,
- 17:25Speaker 1: okay stick to well, lit populated areas and void shortcuts
- 17:30Speaker 1: through alleys or empty. Lots, GUYS i have to tell
- 17:33Speaker 1: you when writing these, tips, OO i thought about the
- 17:37Speaker 1: TIME i was living and working In chicago AND i

- 17:48Speaker 1: Night why because it's excuse, me that's Where Google maps

- 18:39Speaker 1: we were determined we were not going to have anybody
- 18:43Speaker 1: catch us because we couldn't. Run, also if you're going
