  I got a Mythic Gaze of the Almsir out of my Warriors vault

  on NA, which is huge because I'm a tank, which means the chances

  of me getting one from the raid is slim to none because
• 1:26
  literally everybody wants 1. I think there's like 3 specs
• 1:30
  that don't want one. It's a very, very popular
• 1:33
  trinket. But I pulled it on my vault.
• 1:35
  It was a big week for the gays. We got one for me, we got one
• 1:39
  for my friend Nick who plays in our AOTC team to get a heroic 1,
• 1:42
  and I think one of our healers got one of our her vault too.
• 1:46
  Yeah, huge week. So it's been going good.

  And that's a really good Paladins prog like Blinded
• 1:51
  Vanguard. And then that got nerfed, which
• 1:54
  means the damage check will be slightly easier, so we'll
• 1:56
  probably kill that this week there.

  Nick and Congrats to everybody. You got something good out of

  their vault. I know a lot of people call it

  the weekly disappointment, but I thought I find that especially

  this early in this season, there's just so many wins in

  It's a great, like it honestly is a really good trinket because

  We finally got into heroic, which is very exciting,

  starting, starting to do our little, our little.

  And then we thought that we could go directly to chimeras.

  We were like, Oh yeah, whatever. We just got to heroic.

  Everyone says that's so easy. Yeah.

  So we are going to be doing voice fire like good little
• 3:37
  babies. After an hour and a half of
• 3:39
  hitting that and being like, perhaps we need a little more
• 3:43
  gear. Can I ask what your Do you know

  what your team's average item level is?

  I want to say in the two 60s. So it might be that we need a
• 3:52
  little more paying attention. It's possible that we really
• 3:55
  need is a little bit more, you know, doing our jobs.

  But we'll say it's gear. There's this one Demon Hunter

  who keeps like, you know, running in front of the tank and
• 4:05
  like flipping and eye beaming everything before the tank gets
• 4:09
  there and then being like why did I die?
• 4:12
  I only tanked the big ad for a long time.

  What an idiot. Anyway.

  Don't you play Demon Hunter in your right?

  Team who doesn't play Demon Hunter?

  Sean. I think everyone plays Demon

  Hunter in their souls. I just went and I just had to go

  look it up because I'm just like, I wonder what the item
• 4:36
  level is. Because like, yeah, I think that
• 4:41
  if you're, let's say Sean's team, that was like pushing
• 4:45
  through how many different like mythic zeros and getting their
• 4:48
  item level up and everything. And then like making sure that
• 4:52
  not only is that like I'd level there, but probably had like a
• 4:55
  better selection of gear than like your team or my team that
• 4:58
  was probably still had some veteran pieces and such.

  So I could definitely see that it makes a difference.

  I know with 'cause I'm rating with two teams, this this tier
• 5:12
  one team walked right into it. We're like, OK, yeah, let's do
• 5:17
  heroic. So we did normal and then we did
• 5:20
  heroic because of course that trinket is so good that even
• 5:24
  getting a normal version of it outstrips a lot of the stuff at
• 5:28
  the higher end level. So that was good.
• 5:31
  Another team that I went with did not did not perform as well.
• 5:36
  And I think it specifically is about like the focus of the team
• 5:42
  and the gear it is. It's definitely not easier than
• 5:46
  the first. I'd say 3 bosses easily in. 4th
• 5:51
  fire. We do also had a lot of shake
• 5:53
  UPS over the last year. I think I've mentioned a couple
• 5:55
  times that we are training a new tank and that, you know, this is
• 5:59
  a really hard tier to be a new tank, right?
• 6:02
  Like you lost it. It went from like tank means you
• 6:04
  wait until it says loud in your ears, Tom swap and then you Tom
• 6:08
  swap and then you're good, which, and that's another
• 6:10
  implication. I know, and I, I, I tried
• 6:12
  tanking it is I'm not very good at it.
• 6:14
  So like very, very fair, not trying to be made of tanks.
• 6:17
  But all of a sudden it became significantly more complex and a
• 6:20
  lot of these bosses are very like tank heavy.
• 6:24
  So I think we, we are aware of the fact that this is a tough
• 6:27
  time for everyone. You know, a lot we're, we're all
• 6:30
  kind of relearning our classes and how we engage with it and,
• 6:34
  and you know, how we play our roles.
• 6:36
  And we also have somebody who's coming into a role that was
• 6:39
  always challenging, is now particularly challenging and
• 6:41
  that he hasn't done on a tier that seems very like I'm just
• 6:44
  looking from the outside, seems particularly tank heavy in
• 6:47
  general. So we are aware that we are
• 6:50
  going to be going through things a little slower and that's OK
• 6:52
  because we're having fun. If they if your new tank gets
• 6:55
  through this tier and at the end of it, they don't want to quit
• 6:58
  being a tank, the next tier for them is going to be it's like
• 7:01
  they're basically training with weights on this tier and next
• 7:05
  tier. It's going to feel like they're
• 7:06
  sprinting through a field. It's it is you're like there is
• 7:10
  a lot more responsibilities on tanks in some of these fights.
• 7:12
  The like Blind Vanguard, for example, the Dragons, the Double
• 7:17
  Dragons fight that also very, very important.
• 7:19
  And even Alaria, Crown of the Cosmos, a lot of tank
• 7:21
  responsibility there. And Bella Ren as well, a lot of
• 7:25
  tank responsibility. So it it is 100% a lot.

  I would not want to be this. I would not want this to be my
• 7:31
  first tier as a new tank. I would like that would be an
• 7:36
  awful time, yeah. Cutting your teeth on one of the
• 7:40
  most. Challenging tears.

  When we were discussing potential tanks, I said, like, I
• 7:44
  wasn't like, itching for tank, but if we were in a pinch, I
• 7:47
  would be happy to take up the the tank mantle.
• 7:49
  And then I started watching this, too.
• 7:51
  And I'm like, you know what? I think the Gillies should do
• 7:53
  it. I think we shouldn't have more
• 7:54
  than one officer in a certain, you know, coveted role.
• 7:57
  That's what I think is going on anyway.

  Ask someone else. Yeah.

  And I heard you use that excuse and I bought it.

  I was like, oh, OK, yeah, that makes that if that falls not
• 8:06
  knowing Lex was playing 40 chest, OK.

  To be fair, I do actually in general believe that like that

  was my biggest argument is I think especially the tank, which
• 8:14
  is such a like hyper, like there's only two, right?
• 8:18
  Like even healer, if you get 4, you can have swings.
• 8:21
  And so I think it's both the like I in a, in an AOTC relaxed
• 8:25
  kill team. I do think that ideally we
• 8:28
  should leave at least one tank roll open for guilty so that
• 8:31
  everyone gets a chance to play roles they really, really want.
• 8:34
  OK. Well, I guess all the best lies
• 8:38
  include a bit of truth. So let's get into the news.
• 8:43
  First little bit of news that we have is 12 point O .5 is going
• 8:47
  to be coming out next week and that includes a lot of content,
• 8:53
  including gear that is both goes all the way up to hero gear.
• 8:58
  When you when you do this content, and this is all like a
• 9:02
  lot of outdoor content through that.
• 9:06
  So this is dealing with the fallout after the raid.
• 9:12
  We've got now these void assaults and void strikes.
• 9:17
  And this is outdoor content that will show up in different
• 9:19
  places. As you do more of the smaller
• 9:23
  events, it'll build up to the bigger events.
• 9:25
  If you recall the Fyric assaults from Dragonflight, it's similar
• 9:31
  to that, where you do small things, it builds up the bar,
• 9:33
  and then you'll do the big, the big thing accumulating with a
• 9:37
  world boss. On top of that, we also have
• 9:41
  instance content, which are the ritual sites.
• 9:44
  And these ritual sites are kind of like delves with the twist.
• 9:47
  They're delves mixed with horrific visions and in which
• 9:52
  you get different affixes that will change the experience and
• 9:57
  you can change them much like it with the the horrific visions
• 10:02
  how you could get the different mass and use those to get like
• 10:06
  different things. This will add in challenges.
• 10:08
  So there are a bunch of different levels.
• 10:11
  The first 3 levels are pretty much open and then the last two,
• 10:14
  level 4 and level 5 you are required to put in some of these
• 10:18
  challenges, but you get to choose what challenges they are
• 10:21
  that's not random per week like they were in with the horrific
• 10:26
  visions. And all of this will give you
• 10:29
  currency, will work through a renowned track like everything
• 10:32
  these days, and will allow you to buy not only up to heroic
• 10:38
  level gear, but also trans transmog that is recolored Tier
• 10:44
  2 and void versions of the blood elf gear as well.
• 10:54
  The the other two things that are coming with 12 point O .5 is
• 11:00
  the decor hunt, which is this like pretty light themed in in
• 11:06
  sorry, rather like joyous, not light as in the force of light
• 11:09
  and dark, but joyous themed little team hunt where people
• 11:16
  will hide as different decor around this instance version of
• 11:20
  Silverman, and then other people will go hunting for for them,
• 11:25
  trying to discover them and kick them out.
• 11:29
  This is again, I think it seems pretty good.
• 11:34
  I actually think they made it a little too complicated because
• 11:37
  there are tech trees to your hunting and to your hiding,
• 11:41
  which is which is kind of annoying.
• 11:45
  I almost wish they made it kind of like Team Fortress where it's
• 11:47
  like you picked the class and that was what abilities you had.
• 11:51
  And then and then it didn't go any deeper than that.
• 11:54
  But yeah, there's a little bit of a tech tree.
• 11:55
  There's of course cosmetic rewards that are in there as
• 11:58
  well. And then the last thing is this
• 12:01
  underwater diving off the coast of Zulaman, which is the one
• 12:10
  that in my mind interested me least just because I've, I got I
• 12:14
  still have terror from every underwater zone ever.
• 12:18
  I don't think wow does underwater that well, but it,
• 12:23
  it, it's again, another thing with tech tree with the ability
• 12:28
  to go underwater, go and gather as much as you can.
• 12:32
  And as you work through that tech tree, you'll be able to
• 12:34
  gather more, go further, get get more and of course, get more
• 12:38
  rewards. But there's a lot of I don't
• 12:41
  want to call it pure single player because the Decor Hunt is
• 12:45
  a technically PvP thing, but this is a lot more of short bite
• 12:53
  size content to go through in the open world or in small
• 12:58
  instances. Separate from that, of course,
• 13:03
  we've got the new Void Crucible and Forge, which is this
• 13:11
  season's version of Turbo Boost. You will be able to like upgrade
• 13:18
  your items to new levels further along in the track and you will
• 13:24
  also be able to get. I don't want to call this a
• 13:27
  bonus roll. We had said that last time when
• 13:28
  we were initially. Discussing this, it's called
• 13:30
  bonus loot. OK, bonus loot.
• 13:32
  You're guaranteed to get bonus loot when you redeem these.
• 13:37
  Redeem these. But as we had in the
• 13:40
  conversation a couple episodes back, it's not you're not
• 13:45
  guaranteed to get exactly the item you want.
• 13:47
  It will, it may be that you get on the first try, but you will
• 13:51
  never get a repeated drop. So eventually you will get the
• 13:55
  piece that you're after. So what do you guys think of
• 13:59
  like all the stuff coming for 12 point O 5?

  Is there any of the like activities that seem to excite

  Yeah, it's a great time to be a solo player.

  You were right. This is all very solo or single
• 14:17
  player friendly. I think for example, with the

  decor hunt or the decor duels. That is the type of thing that I
• 14:23
  mean, without having played it, I want to be super clear.
• 14:25
  I really genuinely thought this is something the World of
• 14:27
  Warcraft team invented when they revealed it on their, you know,
• 14:31
  the little video. So I don't know, I don't
• 14:33
  understand how you're going to have a tech tree for this.
• 14:35
  I'm I'm going to be learning all this on the fly.
• 14:37
  Like, are you not just pretending to be a little thing
• 14:39
  and you go in a corner and hope that nobody thinks like everyone
• 14:41
  thinks there's a broom there anyway?

  But my, my completely going in blind interpretation is that
• 14:48
  this is the type of thing that's very easy to keep for solo.

  We have to have a lot of stress. So I am very excited about that.

  I'm very excited as a solo player.

  I have been feeling a little frustrated just because they're
• 15:01
  like having some trouble motivating myself to log in
• 15:03
  because now that I'm all at like maxed out champ will not Max
• 15:07
  out, but I'm maxing out my champion year and I'm pushing
• 15:10
  hero gear. It's hard for me to feel super
• 15:13
  motivated to like do my delves and do my prey because I'm like,
• 15:16
  yeah, like I got some currency, but that's kind of it.
• 15:18
  Like I don't really need any more of this gear.
• 15:21
  So having an opportunity to get hero gear, I think is going to
• 15:24
  make it a lot easier for me to want to be getting on and
• 15:27
  wanting to be doing these these these activities and will mean
• 15:32
  that I can continue to gear up as a solo player.

  Right. I was sort of at the point where
• 15:36
  I was like, OK, am I do I have to start thinking seriously
• 15:39
  about doing more mythic plus because I don't want to drag
• 15:41
  down my team and all that. But if I can buy hero gear, then
• 15:44
  I can have another season without any mythic plus.

  We'll see if that actually happens, but I'm I'm really
• 15:49
  excited. This seems like a lot of fun.

  You're right that a lot of this does seem very delve adjacent or
• 15:55
  heroic vision adjacent to have horrific vision adjacent, excuse

  me, which I was having a lot of fun with.

  So I'm I'm high. I think it's gonna be really

  Any of this interests you where you're at?

  Well. I will 100% be farming decor
• 16:12
  duels because they put all of the absolute best trans mob on
• 16:15
  the planet in that. In that system it's all of the
• 16:19
  silver moon city guard weapons and Shields.

  So pull arms one handed swords, war glaves, all the stuff that
• 16:30
  the guards wear and the Shields. The guards have the city shield
• 16:34
  guard. So I have no choice.
• 16:35
  I have to play decor duel whether I want to or not.
• 16:40
  So I will doing that. The obviously I'm going to
• 16:42
  engage with the the quote UN quote turbo boost.
• 16:45
  I don't have a choice because we got a gear up.

  I actually feel weird like gearing was slowed down a lot
• 16:51
  this expansion compared to where it was in the war within to the
• 16:55
  point that like at this same point in the war within, I was
• 17:00
  maxed out. I all of my items that I was
• 17:02
  wearing were maxed upgrade and turbo boost hit and then it was
• 17:07
  just convert all of my crests and then upgrade the new pieces.
• 17:13
  Well, I am not maxed out now because they slowed down
• 17:16
  gearing. So we're going to get all this
• 17:17
  new these new tracks on this gear in turbo boost, but we're
• 17:22
  not going to be able to Max them out right away.
• 17:24
  So they've slowed down the gearing, which means it's going
• 17:27
  to take a bit longer to to hit hit Max item level, which means
• 17:33
  that keeps you playing for longer into the season.
• 17:36
  We're seeing record numbers of Mythic Plus being done since
• 17:40
  midnight Season 1 launched like when our third week of over
• 17:44
  1,000,000 keys completed, which has never happened before.
• 17:50
  And maybe it's because people are still here.
• 17:53
  But yeah, I, I do that. I do want everybody who's
• 17:56
  listening. If you're excited about the
• 17:57
  turbo boost and the bonus loot, which is a huge, huge advantage
• 18:01
  to for upgrading alts or mains, make sure you're doing your void
• 18:07
  Forge day weekly quests in Void storm because you have to do a
• 18:13
  quest every week where you get 3 things from delves, rage or
• 18:16
  mythic plus bosses and give them to Decimus and then he he picks
• 18:21
  it up. Right now it's at 5.
• 18:22
  You have to have done it five times.
• 18:24
  You can do them all in the same day, but you only get a drop at
• 18:28
  the end boss of a dungeon Delvor from a raid boss.
• 18:31
  So make sure you're you're up to speed with that.

  You're definitely not going to want to be trying to unlock that
• 18:35
  next week when you want to be grabbing your bonus loop.
• 18:39
  But yeah, 12.5 is coming. A lot of like, like said, a lot
• 18:41
  of stuff for for solo players, a lot of stuff for gearing up
• 18:44
  alts. If you were somebody who's
• 18:45
  working the gear alts or to finish off mains that aren't
• 18:48
  rocked out in in full hero gear and hopefully it's accessible.

  I don't know what the like there's.

  I suspect you can't just farm to your heart's content and get
• 18:57
  hero gear from the assaults. My guess is there's some sort of
• 19:00
  artificial cap on it, whether it's a currency you have to get
• 19:03
  or something. It's a currency and the fact
• 19:06
  that it's purchased also makes me think it's it's going to be a
• 19:09
  pretty low cap. Because if you could just go in
• 19:11
  and farm and just buy whatever hero pieces you were missing to
• 19:15
  Max out your entire character like that would be.

  I mean, first of all, it'd be absurdly overpowered.

  You can't do that anything else. So yeah, my guess is it's going
• 19:24
  to be like you're going to get a couple pieces of loot out of it.

  Yeah, but yeah. Could still be fun.

  I've watched some videos from Mr. GM on them.

  They look like fun stuff if you're into that.

  Are we calling them the rituals? Are we calling them horrific

  visions? What combination of the word are

  we? Because we had horrific delves

  already in the War Within SO. Sorry, I honestly, I feel like

  Dells need to go first because they are so much like the

  midnight delves, like the affix and stuff.

  I was just like, is this something they're testing to put

  into like delves going forward? Because I don't think that's
• 20:04
  bad. I actually think that have
• 20:07
  having like played through it and and done done the stuff on
• 20:10
  the PTR, I think it's pretty cool.

  I think that it is an expansion of delves that I really do like
• 20:16
  because the way that you get the like various challenges.

  Are are different things that you would do in or outside of
• 20:24
  the rituals, which makes it feel like a much more integrated end
• 20:28
  game sort of system and itself nerves itself.

  So like week 1 you'll need to complete a challenge, a level
• 20:41
  4-1 or level 5 and then Week 2 it'll go down a level.

  It's like, OK, now you'll need to complete the level, the Level
• 20:49
  3 or level 4 with whatever criteria it is.

  And so more people will be able to unlock it.

  That'll let you push in further because like at level 4, you
• 20:58
  have to have a minimum of challenges unlocked and active,
• 21:03
  and then to do the level 5, you need to have another bunch of
• 21:06
  challenges active, unlocked. And then of course, there's an
• 21:09
  achievement for like having every challenge active and
• 21:12
  completing at the highest level. So that could easily go into
• 21:16
  delves and be switched around each season and just add to like
• 21:21
  fun things that people want to do with delves.

  It's got it's like, obviously Dells have their under coin and
• 21:28
  that currency this one has it's it's currency that you're going
• 21:33
  and buying all those Cos cosmetics.
• 21:37
  And I think that this it just feels like stuff that maybe they
• 21:41
  wanted to put into Dells at the beginning of the expansion, but
• 21:45
  didn't quite make it in time for the release.
• 21:47
  So, so if this is soft test and people like it, I'd love to see
• 21:50
  it continue because I I do enjoy it.

  It does really feel like they are leaning very heavily into
• 21:57
  single player content. I I know that I say this like
• 22:00
  every single time, like, oh, it's so fun to be a single
• 22:02
  player right now, but it's like to be fair to a kind of absurd
• 22:08
  degree, right? Like they gave us a new single
• 22:11
  player game mode, dirt with midnight and then at the .05
• 22:16
  they're giving us two more, I guess one OK, one of them is
• 22:21
  like open world, but they're giving us up an open world.
• 22:24
  And I mean, again, you can group if you want to, but it, it just
• 22:28
  feels so like they are giving us single players a lot of gifts,
• 22:33
  which I I appreciate. I do wonder how like a if that's
• 22:37
  going to continue and B, you know, I've said for a while, I'd
• 22:40
  love it if, you know, delves could push harder and if I could
• 22:42
  gear fully to raid with single player content.
• 22:45
  And I'm curious if the this trend is going to continue to
• 22:50
  the point that we will be getting more and more single
• 22:54
  player gearing abilities and single player opportunities
• 22:57
  moving forward or if this is kind of like midnight.
• 23:00
  They're being really nice to us. And then as it goes forward,
• 23:02
  they can be like, turns out we don't want you to only play
• 23:05
  alone. Sometimes you have to do a
• 23:07
  couple keys. I I think that there is
• 23:11
  obviously the chance for them to do that and they're obviously
• 23:16
  testing the waters, but like it, it's Blizzard, it's the wow team
• 23:21
  that metronome seems to swing like very hard at times.

  So even if it is looking good and going this direction right
• 23:28
  now, I I don't think that's true necessarily true for the future.

  And this is content that you can do by yourself or with like up
• 23:37
  to four people just like Delve. So it is like it is one hundred
• 23:42
  100% that modular content. I am curious as you 2 are not as
• 23:47
  scared of grouping and doing keys as me.
• 23:50
  How like how does it feel to the be seeing so much solo content
• 23:55
  come out? Like are you guys feeling a
• 23:57
