- 8:50Let's talk science. Scientists have finally corrected
- 8:54a fatal flaw in an unlimited power source. sparking
- 8:58an energy revolution. Researchers in the United
- 9:02Kingdom exploited a weakness in current energy
- 9:05technology to create more electricity. Traditional
- 9:09solar power technology falters during heat waves,
- 9:12losing 10 to 25 percent of potential electricity.
- 9:17The new method alters photovoltaic cells to store
- 9:20excess heat as chemical energy, which can later
- 9:23be converted into electricity. If widely adopted,
- 9:28these photo -electrochemical solar panels could
- 9:30significantly contribute to sustainable power.
- 9:35This innovative approach showcases that even
- 9:37heat waves could be harnessed to power the green
- 9:40energy revolution. And in entertainment news,
- 9:47Eddie Q. hints at Apple's next sports deal, stating,
- 9:51we do love F1. As Apple reportedly approaches
- 9:55a yearly deal worth $140 million for the United
- 10:00States' rights of Formula One, Hugh has been
- 10:03discussing Apple TV and sports streaming. During
- 10:07a recent panel, Hugh criticized the current streaming
- 10:10landscape, suggesting more bundling is needed.
- 10:15He also noted that streaming technology could
- 10:17unlock new opportunities. When discussing Formula
- 10:21One, Q pointed out that the related movie is
- 10:24the highest -grossing sports film of all time.
- 10:29Apple is close to announcing its Formula One
- 10:31streaming package, potentially this weekend at
- 10:34the U .S. Grand Prix in Austin. Well, alrighty
- 10:38folks, it's time for the quote of the day. And
- 10:42today, our quote comes from the American inventor
- 10:45and futurist, R. Buckminster Fuller. And he said,
- 10:51we are called to be architects of the future,
- 10:54not its victims. And that's a wrap for this morning.
