Senator Malcolm Noonan GP – An update to part of Kilkenny city’s train station and its idle lift as well as the need for more carriages were among the topics he raised yesterday when he met with officials yesterday. He says he had a ‘positive’ discussion with them. However, he says bringing the footprint of the station back into its own site requires significant investment due to conservation issues around steel and ironworks there.
