- 0:00Speaker 1: Hi, Selena.
- 0:01Speaker 2: Hi, Hey guys. So Hi, I'm just calling for some advice.
- 0:09Speaker 2: I started a new job as a trainer and I'm
- 0:14Speaker 2: starting to build up my clientele and luckily I actually
- 0:18Speaker 2: got it my first client. He's a guy, and I
- 0:24Speaker 2: feel like he's like we have a really good rapport,
- 0:28Speaker 2: bordering on really flirty, and I feel like he might
- 0:33Speaker 2: ask me out. And I'm kind of nervous about it
- 0:36Speaker 2: because I don't know if that's okay, Like I with
- 0:38Speaker 2: my job, I don't. I think it's kind of frowned upon,
- 0:41Speaker 2: you know, for to fraten froognize with the people that
- 0:45Speaker 2: you're training. So I just wanted to get your take on.
- 0:48Speaker 1: It, like a personal trainer for exercise, that kind of training.
- 0:53Speaker 3: Don't do it, don't do it good bag and force
- 1:01Speaker 3: and like we have.
- 1:02Speaker 2: A lot of fun. I actually really like him a client.
- 1:07Speaker 3: I know.
- 1:07Speaker 1: I think this is very common because I think I
- 1:10Speaker 1: saw something about the people that are the most promiscuous
- 1:12Speaker 1: jobs are like bartenders and trainers, like I.
- 1:16Speaker 2: Think, I mean, we do a lot of stretching things
- 1:20Speaker 2: like that.
- 1:20Speaker 1: So in therapy it's like your your trainer. You open
- 1:24Speaker 1: up and share so many things. You become so close,
- 1:26Speaker 1: you know, so I could.
- 1:27Speaker 2: See you like at your best self too.
- 1:29Speaker 1: So yes, So if he likes you and you like him,
- 1:33Speaker 1: I would say do it.
- 1:34Speaker 3: I just feel like it's a bad idea if.
- 1:36Speaker 1: I think if you really really like him, if you don't,
- 1:37Speaker 1: I think it's a bad idea too. I feel like
- 1:39Speaker 1: this is very comfortable. Well, you've said many things. I
- 1:41Speaker 1: think it's a bad idea, but I also think you
- 1:42Speaker 1: never know if it works out or not, Like now
- 1:44Speaker 1: you know you don't you don't want to date a coworker,
- 1:46Speaker 1: but I married my coworker, so it's like nowadays.
- 1:49Speaker 2: See that's the thing. I really do need a job,
- 1:52Speaker 2: but I also would like to find the love of
- 1:54Speaker 2: my life.
- 1:56Speaker 1: I'm like love islands, taking applications, just go there.
- 1:59Speaker 3: But I would also create, like, I don't know a
- 2:02Speaker 3: level of insecurity for him in the relationship because that's
- 2:05Speaker 3: how you met.
- 2:05Speaker 1: And so anytime you now train.
- 2:07Speaker 3: A dude, he's going to be like, oh it.
- 2:10Speaker 1: Could's right, that's right. Are you attracted to him?
- 2:14Speaker 3: Oh?
- 2:14Speaker 2: I totally am, yeah, totally, but I've been very professional,
- 2:18Speaker 2: like I haven't crossed the line or anything.
- 2:20Speaker 1: Here's what you do. You tell him Okay, if you
- 2:23Speaker 1: if you don't even know if he's going to ask
- 2:24Speaker 1: you out, by the way, so you could be not
- 2:25Speaker 1: reading the room right. But let's say he does ask
- 2:27Speaker 1: you out. You say, look, I have a policy, right,
- 2:29Speaker 1: don't want to try. I don't want to date the
- 2:31Speaker 1: people that train. Right now, you are my only client.
- 2:34Speaker 1: So if you find me a new client, then I
- 2:38Speaker 1: will fire you and we can go to dinner.
- 2:41Speaker 2: I kind of like that. Then I can see how
- 2:43Speaker 2: much he actually likes me.
- 2:45Speaker 1: Yeah, a little confusing for that would help with the
- 2:49Speaker 1: insecurity layer, Like I have the policy, I'm not dating.
- 2:52Speaker 1: That's right bound all right, Selena, good luck, keep us posted.
- 2:56Speaker 1: Thanks for listening.
- 2:57Speaker 2: Thank you,
