- 0:00Speaker 1: So it is Halloween time, so we got to talk
- 0:02Speaker 1: about ghosts. Have you seen a ghost? 842-547-S7. Gloria, what's
- 0:06Speaker 1: going on?
- 0:07Speaker 2: Hey, Romeo, I have a ghost story.
- 0:09Speaker 1: Yeah, what happened?
- 0:10Speaker 3: So, back when I was a little girl.
- 0:13Speaker 4: I remember just some random night, like.
- 0:16Speaker 5: I was, like, half groggy.
- 0:18Speaker 6: Okay.
- 0:19Speaker 5: Like, almost, like, mid-asleep.
- 0:21Speaker 4: You know how, like, your eyes start getting really heavy?
- 0:24Speaker 7: Okay.
- 0:25Speaker 4: And so I'm laying there, and I look at the
- 0:27Speaker 4: edge of my bed.
- 0:27Speaker 5: Because I felt like someone was just staring at me.
- 0:30Speaker 5: And it's like, if I'm in a ghost movie, there's
- 0:34Speaker 5: these two little girls in a white dress holding hands just.
- 0:38Speaker 8: Staring at me.
- 0:39Speaker 4: Really? And I was like, oh my gosh, in shock.
- 0:43Speaker 4: And I just closed my eyes and I tried to
- 0:44Speaker 4: go back to sleep as soon as I can. The
- 0:47Speaker 4: crazy part wasn't until years later when we were around
- 0:51Speaker 4: a bonfire at a family party and we were talking
- 0:55Speaker 4: about scary stuff that has happened to us.
- 0:57Speaker 9: Okay.
- 0:59Speaker 4: I never told anybody the story. I just thought maybe,
- 1:02Speaker 4: I don't know, I just wanted to either forget it
- 1:04Speaker 4: or I thought, you know, I was hallucinating something. It
- 1:07Speaker 4: wasn't until a year later, my brother told me that
- 1:10Speaker 4: one day when he was sleeping in the living room,
- 1:14Speaker 4: the exact same thing happened and he saw, like, the
- 1:16Speaker 4: exact same girls, except for I didn't tell him my story. Like,
- 1:20Speaker 4: he just He just said his story. And then I
- 1:22Speaker 4: looked at him and I was like, there's no way
- 1:24Speaker 4: that we both got the same two little girls together.
- 1:26Speaker 8: I'm going to.
- 1:26Speaker 10: Tell you something.
- 1:28Speaker 1: I heard the exact same thing before. It was these
- 1:30Speaker 1: two sisters. This was years ago when I was in college.
- 1:34Speaker 1: I was dating this girl. And she said she saw
- 1:36Speaker 1: the devil sitting in a rocking chair in her room.
- 1:40Speaker 1: Like when she was younger. And she told me this
- 1:45Speaker 1: at breakfast with her sister yesterday. And her sister said,
- 1:50Speaker 1: I saw the same thing. And this was probably 10
- 1:54Speaker 1: years later, maybe 10.
- 1:57Speaker 10: And they had never talked about it because they were
- 1:59Speaker 10: both scared to talk about it.
- 2:00Speaker 11: Yeah, that's exactly what happened with us.
- 2:03Speaker 3: We were like, there's no way.
- 2:04Speaker 4: We're either imagining this or something.
- 2:07Speaker 6: We're asleep.
- 2:07Speaker 9: We're asleep.
- 2:08Speaker 12: I don't know.
- 2:08Speaker 8: It's not happening.
- 2:10Speaker 4: And so I just forgot it in the back of
- 2:12Speaker 4: my mind.
- 2:13Speaker 13: One day, my brother brought it up.
- 2:14Speaker 4: He's like, I saw this and this. And I was like,
- 2:16Speaker 4: there's no way.
- 2:18Speaker 10: That's wild. That's crazy.
- 2:21Speaker 1: That's crazy.
- 2:21Speaker 10: Hey, thanks for calling.
- 2:22Speaker 3: I appreciate it.
- 2:23Speaker 8: Thank you. All right, bye.
- 2:24Speaker 10: Yeah, I've seen a ghost, man. You ever seen a ghost?
- 2:27Speaker 1: All right, so we're talking about ghosts. You got a
- 2:29Speaker 1: ghost story? 842-547-7. Good morning, how's it going on?
- 2:32Speaker 14: Good morning, Romeo.
- 2:34Speaker 3: How are you doing?
- 2:34Speaker 10: I'm doing fabulous. What's going on?
- 2:36Speaker 15: Okay, so I'll call to tell you my ghost story.
- 2:39Speaker 10: All right, let me hear it. What you got?
- 2:41Speaker 16: Okay, so I grew up in Compton, California, and I
- 2:46Speaker 16: experienced quite a few things growing up.
- 2:48Speaker 15: But one thing was one night I was sleeping and
- 2:53Speaker 15: I saw this old lady with old gray hair. Basically,
- 3:00Speaker 15: she didn't really have a face, so she had like
- 3:02Speaker 15: creepy nails and stuff like that. My door was closed,
- 3:06Speaker 15: and one night it flew open, and this figure flew
- 3:09Speaker 15: over me, this lady that I'm speaking of.
- 3:12Speaker 17: And preferably, I felt.
- 3:15Speaker 18: Like she was going to try to kill me or whatever,
- 3:17Speaker 18: but I remember that my neighbor was a very spiritual person,
- 3:20Speaker 18: so she told me, if you ever feel like it's
- 3:22Speaker 18: an evil spirit or something in the house... Say I
- 3:25Speaker 18: rebuke Satan in.
- 3:26Speaker 8: The name of Jesus.
- 3:26Speaker 18: So I said that three times and she flew out
- 3:29Speaker 18: of my room and I stayed under my cover until
- 3:32Speaker 18: the next morning waiting for my mom to wake me
- 3:34Speaker 18: up for school.
- 3:36Speaker 8: And so in my head.
- 3:37Speaker 15: I'm wondering if this is real and my door flew open,
- 3:40Speaker 15: there will be a hole in my wall because.
- 3:42Speaker 13: I didn't have a door stopper.
- 3:43Speaker 9: So when I woke up the next morning and my
- 3:46Speaker 9: mom got me up from.
- 3:47Speaker 8: School, I moved my door and there was a big
- 3:49Speaker 8: hole in the wall.
- 3:51Speaker 3: Wow. Wow.
- 3:52Speaker 4: Wow.
- 3:53Speaker 6: Wow.
- 4:13Speaker 16: So this whole time, I'm growing up thinking I'm crazy,
- 4:15Speaker 16: something wrong with me.
- 4:16Speaker 2: And it was something wrong with the house.
- 4:20Speaker 10: Oh, that's crazy. That's wild.
- 4:23Speaker 1: That's wild.
- 4:24Speaker 10: Hey, thanks for calling. I appreciate it.
- 4:26Speaker 19: All right. You have a good day.
- 4:27Speaker 8: Thank you.
- 4:29Speaker 10: I mean, come on, Mom.
- 4:31Speaker 1: You got to let your kids know if the house
- 4:33Speaker 1: is haunted or not. Already 14, 5, 4, 7, that's 7.
- 4:37Speaker 1: You got a ghost story. Good morning, how's it going on?
- 4:40Speaker 8: Hey, Romeo, it's me, Angel. Good morning.
- 4:42Speaker 20: Oh, Angel.
- 4:42Speaker 1: What's going on, man?
- 4:43Speaker 8: I got a ghost story. All right.
- 4:45Speaker 1: What happened?
- 4:46Speaker 8: We moved across the street from the Mervyn's Plaza. I
- 4:49Speaker 8: don't know if you remember.
- 4:50Speaker 21: Yes.
- 4:50Speaker 22: Yep.
- 4:51Speaker 8: I remember that.
- 4:52Speaker 12: Okay.
- 4:53Speaker 8: That was our first apartment 20 years ago.
- 4:55Speaker 10: That's right here by the station.
- 4:57Speaker 8: Yeah. And one day, me and the wife, we were arguing,
- 5:03Speaker 8: and the radio turned on.
- 5:05Speaker 10: Was it my show?
- 5:07Speaker 8: No, no, it was just like the race, it just
- 5:10Speaker 8: turned on. And I thought in my mind, you know
- 5:12Speaker 8: how fast you were able to set the alarm to
- 5:15Speaker 8: the radio?
- 5:15Speaker 1: Yeah, absolutely.
- 5:16Speaker 8: So I said, oh, I told my girl, you trying
- 5:19Speaker 8: to scare me? She's like, the thing just turned on.
- 5:22Speaker 8: So I got the plug and I unplugged it.
- 5:26Speaker 5: Okay.
- 5:28Speaker 8: Well, then we start fighting some more and the radio goes.
- 5:33Speaker 8: And at that point, I grabbed the kids. You know,
- 5:35Speaker 8: they were babies. We all got into one room. We
- 5:38Speaker 8: lit a candle, started doing the rosary. And later on,
- 5:42Speaker 8: we found out through the maintenance man, through stories, that
- 5:47Speaker 8: there was like some type of murder there because that
- 5:49Speaker 8: was like a college. That's where all the college kids
- 5:53Speaker 8: would go. That was like a college center.
- 5:56Speaker 10: Okay.
- 5:57Speaker 8: Yeah, I guess they had some couple murders in the building. Well,
- 6:02Speaker 8: after that, we left. After that, we left, bro. But, yeah,
- 6:07Speaker 8: that's the only encounter with ghosts that I have ever had.
- 6:11Speaker 10: Did you really do the rosary and everything?
- 6:14Speaker 23: Yeah, bro.
- 6:14Speaker 8: Could you imagine you disconnect the, you know, your little,
- 6:21Speaker 8: you know, the radio station?
- 6:22Speaker 15: Yeah.
- 6:23Speaker 8: Your alarm?
- 6:24Speaker 21: Yeah.
- 6:24Speaker 8: And you put it right on the bed and it
- 6:26Speaker 8: just turns on?
- 6:27Speaker 21: Yeah.
- 6:27Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 6:28Speaker 8: At that point, I started doing all the Virgin Mary.
- 6:31Speaker 8: I lit like five candles. I opened up all the windows.
- 6:36Speaker 8: I grabbed the kids and put them inside one room.
- 6:39Speaker 8: We were like, I made a cross out of porch.
- 6:44Speaker 1: Why did you open the windows?
- 6:46Speaker 8: I thought it was a possession, man. I was like, man,
- 6:49Speaker 8: what's going on here?
- 6:51Speaker 10: That's awesome, Angel. That's awesome, brother.
- 6:54Speaker 1: Thanks for calling.
- 6:55Speaker 15: All right, bro.
- 6:57Speaker 1: All right, man. You have to see the ghost. What's
- 7:02Speaker 1: going on?
- 7:04Speaker 21: Hey, everyone.
- 7:05Speaker 13: Good morning.
- 7:05Speaker 21: What up, man?
- 7:07Speaker 12: Hey, I got to take you back off that listener
- 7:10Speaker 12: that just called in about the ghost house.
- 7:13Speaker 1: Okay.
- 7:14Speaker 12: So we used to have an apartment that, man, it
- 7:17Speaker 12: was nothing but ghosts. You know, my wife and I
- 7:21Speaker 12: used to live in there, and we would hang out
- 7:23Speaker 12: and You know, here, like, banging in the other door,
- 7:26Speaker 12: and nobody was in there.
- 7:27Speaker 8: It was just us.
- 7:28Speaker 21: Sure.
- 7:29Speaker 12: And at night, we would wake up. Well, she would
- 7:32Speaker 12: wake up mainly with scratches on her legs, you know,
- 7:34Speaker 12: just claw marks all over. And I'm like, man, we
- 7:37Speaker 12: don't even have anybody to live with us. Well, one day,
- 7:40Speaker 12: my sister actually visited us, and she was, you know,
- 7:43Speaker 12: being a teenager at the time. This was, like, 10
- 7:45Speaker 12: years ago.
- 7:46Speaker 8: She was in.
- 7:47Speaker 12: The bathroom, you know, talking with her friend on the
- 7:50Speaker 12: phone on FaceTime. And her friend said, hey, do you
- 7:53Speaker 12: have anybody over right now?
- 7:55Speaker 8: She said, no, why?
- 7:55Speaker 12: And she's like, well, there's a guy in the back,
- 7:58Speaker 12: you know, he's wearing like a black hoodie. So my
- 8:01Speaker 12: sister froze and she's like, what does he look like?
- 8:03Speaker 12: And she's like, I don't see his face. And then
- 8:06Speaker 12: next thing you know, she said her friend, the phone
- 8:11Speaker 12: like actually froze. And my sister said her phone turned
- 8:16Speaker 12: off and she looked and all she felt was like
- 8:18Speaker 12: a gust of cold air.
- 8:20Speaker 20: Wow.
- 8:22Speaker 12: She said she rushed out that house like quicker than ever.
- 8:24Speaker 12: And I was like, man, I didn't believe it. But
- 8:30Speaker 12: it wasn't until my mom came home, you know, through
- 8:33Speaker 12: that time too. And she was watching us or I
- 8:37Speaker 12: was watching my sister. and the curtains were open, and
- 8:41Speaker 12: she said that when she pulled open, or pulled up,
- 8:44Speaker 12: there was a figure, like a little kid, like just
- 8:47Speaker 12: staring outside at her, and so she rushed inside, and
- 8:50Speaker 12: she's like, hey, why is your sister not asleep? And
- 8:53Speaker 12: I said, my sister's been asleep for an hour.
- 8:55Speaker 10: What are you talking about?
- 8:57Speaker 1: Oh, my God. How could you stay there?
- 9:01Speaker 12: You know what?
- 9:02Speaker 8: Rent was cheap at that time, Rome.
- 9:03Speaker 12: I was only paying 500 bucks.
- 9:05Speaker 10: Oh, my God. You can live with some ghosts for
- 9:08Speaker 10: cheap rent, huh?
- 9:10Speaker 12: Yeah, that was it, man. As long as they're helping
- 9:12Speaker 12: pay the rent, bro.
- 9:13Speaker 10: That's awesome. That's awesome. All right, brother. Thanks for calling.
- 9:17Speaker 1: Ghost stories, haunted houses. What do you got going on?
- 9:20Speaker 1: What's going on?
- 9:21Speaker 3: What's going on, big bro?
- 9:22Speaker 1: What up, brother?
- 9:24Speaker 8: Not much, man, not much.
- 9:25Speaker 20: Y'all talking about them haunted houses and stuff?
- 9:26Speaker 8: Yeah, what do you got?
- 9:28Speaker 20: Man, so both my house as well as my parents'
- 9:31Speaker 20: house have had stuff going on.
- 9:34Speaker 8: My parents' house, everybody.
- 9:36Speaker 20: That's been there for more than a couple days has
- 9:39Speaker 20: seen like this little girl.
- 9:41Speaker 8: that walks inside the hallway.
- 9:43Speaker 24: Okay.
- 9:43Speaker 8: As well as this.
- 9:44Speaker 20: Really tall guy. My brother himself is 6'7, and this
- 9:48Speaker 20: guy is about the same height as him. Really? And, yeah,
- 9:51Speaker 20: we always catch them, just like a glimpse of them,
- 9:54Speaker 20: almost as if we look up at the same time
- 9:56Speaker 20: they're uh walking away and yeah yeah we we used
- 10:00Speaker 20: to have this friend that stayed the night with us
- 10:02Speaker 20: for about a week almost a week and a half
- 10:04Speaker 20: and he's like oh i thought you were just inside
- 10:06Speaker 20: the hallway right now i was like no i was
- 10:07Speaker 20: in the restroom and he's like dude i swear i
- 10:10Speaker 20: seen somebody in the hall as i did like there's
- 10:12Speaker 20: there's a tall guy and there's this little girl And
- 10:14Speaker 20: then sure enough, like three days later, he was inside
- 10:16Speaker 20: the room and he looked up and he seen somebody
- 10:20Speaker 20: about as tall as the door handle.
- 10:21Speaker 8: Just turn and walk away.
- 10:23Speaker 20: And he's like, yeah, I'm not spending the night at
- 10:24Speaker 20: your house no more.
- 10:26Speaker 1: I'm good.
- 10:27Speaker 10: Now that was at your parents' house.
- 10:29Speaker 20: That one's at my parents' house, yes. And at my house,
- 10:31Speaker 20: my house was built in 1949. And what's it called?
- 10:34Speaker 20: I live in central Bakersfield. So we haven't seen anything
- 10:39Speaker 20: at all. However, my daughter's room, the door to her room,
- 10:43Speaker 20: will never stay closed. You can close it, and it's
- 10:46Speaker 20: one of those doors that sticks. So when you open it,
- 10:48Speaker 20: it makes like a loud, like the paint, you know
- 10:51Speaker 20: how they kind of glue together sometimes?
- 10:53Speaker 8: Yep. The paint tears.
- 10:54Speaker 9: Okay.
- 10:55Speaker 20: It makes almost like a Velcro sound.
- 10:56Speaker 8: So it doesn't open easily. But every time we close that.
- 10:59Speaker 20: Door, sometime between the morning and noon, for some reason,
- 11:03Speaker 20: that door will always open up and you can hear
- 11:05Speaker 20: like the loud Velcro sound and the door opens. But
- 11:09Speaker 20: it's only my daughter's room. And then one day, the
- 11:12Speaker 20: door to the living room, because, you know, back in
- 11:13Speaker 20: the day, the old houses used to have the living
- 11:15Speaker 20: room separate, so they had doors to the living room.
- 11:16Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 11:17Speaker 20: Yeah, one day the door opened up in the hallway
- 11:19Speaker 20: and we could hear it through the door in the
- 11:21Speaker 20: living room.
- 11:21Speaker 8: We're like, okay, you know, we're kind of used to
- 11:22Speaker 8: this now.
- 11:23Speaker 20: And then about 10 minutes later, the door to the
- 11:25Speaker 20: living room opened up.
- 11:25Speaker 8: And I was like, well, this is new.
- 11:28Speaker 10: But you never saw anything. You didn't see anything?
- 11:30Speaker 19: I never saw anything.
- 11:31Speaker 6: At my house.
- 11:32Speaker 8: Just at my parents' house.
- 11:33Speaker 20: But it's one of those things where my mom raised us.
- 11:35Speaker 20: Don't mess with them. They're not going to mess with you. Basically,
- 11:38Speaker 20: don't give them the energy.
- 11:39Speaker 1: You know what I mean?
- 11:41Speaker 8: I'm waiting for the restroom door to open.
- 11:43Speaker 10: Mid- It's hilarious, man. All right, man. Thanks for calling.
- 11:49Speaker 1: All right, man.
- 11:50Speaker 8: Have a good one.
- 11:51Speaker 1: Talking about ghost stories, right? Already four, two, five, four,
- 11:54Speaker 1: seven to seven. Hey, Rome, back when I was living
- 11:56Speaker 1: in my parents' house, I decided to take a nap
- 11:59Speaker 1: in my room during the day and got woken up
- 12:02Speaker 1: because I felt something had pulled my left leg. I
- 12:05Speaker 1: was in denial until I told my parents about it,
- 12:08Speaker 1: and that's when they told me the last owner had
- 12:10Speaker 1: died in that room. Well, that was nice of your parents.
- 12:14Speaker 1: That was nice of them to give you the room
- 12:16Speaker 1: that somebody died in. But let's be honest, at a
- 12:20Speaker 1: certain point, you know, we talk about people dying in houses.
- 12:25Speaker 1: At a certain point, if you have an old enough house,
- 12:27Speaker 1: somebody had to die in it, right? Because people lived in,
- 12:31Speaker 1: my grandmother died in her house and somebody lives there now.
- 12:34Speaker 1: My grandfather died in his house. Somebody lives there now.
- 12:36Speaker 1: Oh no, that house was torn down now. But you know,
- 12:42Speaker 1: sometimes old people want to die in their homes. Hey,
- 12:44Speaker 1: yo Rome, one time, I was a teen living in
- 12:47Speaker 1: my parents' house. I was showering, and when I got out,
- 12:52Speaker 1: it was all steaming in there. There was a little kid,
- 12:54Speaker 1: hand marks on the mirror, and like dirty marks of
- 13:00Speaker 1: small kids' hands on the door. There were no kids
- 13:04Speaker 1: that lived at my parents' house during this time. It
- 13:07Speaker 1: tripped me out. I told my mom about it, and
- 13:10Speaker 1: she said I was overreacting. About a month later, I
- 13:13Speaker 1: was getting up for school, and I hear her yell,
- 13:16Speaker 1: what the? Went over there, and she said she'd just
- 13:20Speaker 1: seen a chair from the kitchen table move by itself.
- 13:24Speaker 1: She was in bed having her coffee, and her door
- 13:29Speaker 1: was perfect view to the kitchen table. She'd seen it
- 13:31Speaker 1: clear as day and heard the wood legs slide across
- 13:35Speaker 1: the tile. I don't know, Rome. I love my parents' house,
- 13:39Speaker 1: but they ain't the only ones living there, Rome. They
- 13:44Speaker 1: may not be. Has he ever seen a ghost? Maybe
- 13:46Speaker 1: he lived in a haunted house. Maybe he lived in
- 13:47Speaker 1: one now. Yo, Rome, sup? Big Rome, this is Big Joe.
- 13:52Speaker 1: My oldest daughter used to live in San Diego. When
- 13:54Speaker 1: my son-in-law was in the service, when we visited, she
- 13:57Speaker 1: would always say she had a kid ghost. One day,
- 14:02Speaker 1: she put flour all over the floor, and when we
- 14:05Speaker 1: woke up, there were small footprints everywhere.
- 14:09Speaker 6: Wow.
- 14:09Speaker 1: Wow. We would get a motel after that. Well, if
- 14:18Speaker 1: your daughter lived there, she wasn't afraid of the kid.
- 14:21Speaker 10: Why are you scared?
- 14:22Speaker 1: Hey, Romeo, so the house I live in is haunted.
- 14:28Speaker 1: We're playing the Ouija board there, and we've had so
- 14:31Speaker 1: many wild encounters of seeing and hearing things. In 2020,
- 14:35Speaker 1: my friend passed away, and I was pregnant. She got
- 14:37Speaker 1: into an accident two months before I gave birth and
- 14:40Speaker 1: didn't get to meet my son. Fast forward to him
- 14:44Speaker 1: being three, and he begins crying for days straight, saying,
- 14:49Speaker 1: my friend with no head is back wanting to play.
- 14:55Speaker 1: The friend got decapitated in the accident.
- 14:59Speaker 10: You know what?
- 15:00Speaker 1: Maybe this is kind of a downer story. Thanksgiving last year,
- 15:07Speaker 1: We were telling our ghost stories, and one of my
- 15:09Speaker 1: cousin's boyfriends kept cracking jokes, saying, if you're here, show yourself.
- 15:15Speaker 1: Our TV turned off right away. My family and I joked, saying,
- 15:19Speaker 1: you pissed them off. They can hear you. He still
- 15:22Speaker 1: cracks jokes, and we lose power in the living room,
- 15:25Speaker 1: and Hall turns on instantly and then flickers like two
- 15:30Speaker 1: or three times right after that. Man, the guy got
- 15:33Speaker 1: up so quick and left. and has yet to step
- 15:39Speaker 1: another foot in our home. Wow, that is incredible. How
- 15:46Speaker 1: can you live in a haunted house, man? Good morning,
- 15:48Speaker 1: how's it going on?
- 15:49Speaker 14: Rome.
- 15:50Speaker 6: Remember, we used to have a psychic come on your show.
- 15:54Speaker 20: Yeah, Luis.
- 15:54Speaker 4: What was her name?
- 15:56Speaker 10: Her name was Luis.
- 15:57Speaker 25: So I called her one time because I remember I
- 16:00Speaker 25: told her that my cabinets in.
- 16:01Speaker 2: My kitchen were always open no matter how many times
- 16:03Speaker 2: I closed them.
- 16:04Speaker 23: And she told me that I had a ghost that was.
- 16:06Speaker 8: Obsessed with my toaster.
- 16:08Speaker 17: I will never forget that.
- 16:12Speaker 16: I swear.
- 16:13Speaker 3: Like I never seen the ghost.
- 16:14Speaker 23: But she's like, yeah, you ghosted with the toaster.
- 16:18Speaker 13: I don't know.
- 16:19Speaker 8: That's funny.
- 16:19Speaker 10: Do you still have a ghost?
- 16:22Speaker 2: No, because I moved out of that apartment.
- 16:25Speaker 10: So now you live in a ghost free home.
- 16:28Speaker 2: I don't know about that because I hear a lot
- 16:29Speaker 2: of strange stuff at night.
- 16:31Speaker 23: It's like, whatever.
- 16:32Speaker 13: Do you have a cat?
- 16:35Speaker 9: No.
- 16:35Speaker 10: Oh, get a cat.
- 16:36Speaker 17: Well, but the cat's outside.
- 16:37Speaker 10: Well, you got to get a cat.
- 16:39Speaker 1: A young girl told me one time when she first
- 16:42Speaker 1: moved out of her parents' house, she got a cat.
- 16:45Speaker 1: So the cat would explain all the strange noises that
- 16:48Speaker 1: she had. If something ever happened, she could just go, oh,
- 16:51Speaker 1: it's just a cat.
- 16:53Speaker 8: I don't know.
- 16:54Speaker 3: I just know what the cat was saying, but who
- 16:56Speaker 3: got a drug she was on?
- 16:58Speaker 10: Oh, that's hilarious.
- 16:59Speaker 15: Anyway.
- 16:59Speaker 8: But yeah.
- 17:00Speaker 20: All right.
- 17:00Speaker 10: Well, thanks for calling. I appreciate it.
- 17:02Speaker 1: All right, 8-4-2-5-4-7-7. Have you ever seen a ghost? What's
- 17:06Speaker 1: going on?
- 17:07Speaker 3: Morning, Romeo.
- 17:08Speaker 10: Hey, what's up?
- 17:09Speaker 4: So I got a story for you.
- 17:11Speaker 2: I mean, it's a little, it.
- 17:13Speaker 3: Was creepy to me because I was small when it happened.
- 17:15Speaker 3: So long story short, it was back when, you know,
- 17:19Speaker 3: I was, I think it was like in fourth grade.
- 17:20Speaker 8: My brother was a year older than me. We shared
- 17:22Speaker 8: a room.
- 17:23Speaker 3: My mom, she had her own room next door. And
- 17:26Speaker 3: so my brother, my older brother, he would always pull
- 17:28Speaker 3: pranks on me all the time. So it's like every
- 17:31Speaker 3: time something happened to me, I would be like, Mom,
- 17:33Speaker 3: Del's messing with me.
- 17:34Speaker 11: And so she'd come in, get him in trouble.
- 17:37Speaker 3: So this one night, I don't know, I was scared
- 17:40Speaker 3: for my life. I ended up sleeping with my mom
- 17:43Speaker 3: because we went to bed, but I didn't see my
- 17:47Speaker 3: brother go in bed.
- 17:50Speaker 2: I fell asleep first.
- 17:51Speaker 3: So eventually he went in and fell asleep. I was
- 17:54Speaker 3: covered with my blanket, and I just felt like if
- 17:58Speaker 3: someone just rips it away from me so freaking hard
- 18:01Speaker 3: that it wakes me up. And I'm like, Joe, stop
- 18:05Speaker 3: pulling my blanket. But he wouldn't respond to me, so
- 18:08Speaker 3: I thought maybe he was laughing silently. And so I
- 18:12Speaker 3: cover myself again. And one more time, very hard, I'm like,
- 18:18Speaker 3: it gets, like, pulled away from me, like, while I'm asleep,
- 18:21Speaker 3: covered up, like, real tight with the blanket so he
- 18:24Speaker 3: wouldn't pull it away from me.
- 18:25Speaker 11: And I'm like, Mom, Joe keeps pulling my blanket. So
- 18:29Speaker 11: she's like, Jose, stop messing with your sister. So she
- 18:32Speaker 11: comes in the room because I'm like, please come in
- 18:33Speaker 11: and tell him. And Romeo, he was knocked out in bed.
- 18:38Speaker 11: He was, like, drool coming out of his mouth.
- 18:40Speaker 3: Like, it was impossible that it could have been him.
- 18:45Speaker 3: And my mom is like, what are.
- 18:46Speaker 5: You talking about?
- 18:47Speaker 3: I'm like, Mom, I swear, look, my blanket's all the
- 18:49Speaker 3: way over there. And it was weird because I felt
- 18:52Speaker 3: like a scratch. Like, you know, like, I don't know
- 18:55Speaker 3: if it was, like, the tag to my blanket or not.
- 18:57Speaker 8: I don't know what.
- 18:58Speaker 11: Wow.
- 18:58Speaker 20: But.
- 18:59Speaker 3: It was creepy, and I felt bad because she was
- 19:02Speaker 3: yelling at my brother, but he was knocked out, so
- 19:03Speaker 3: he didn't know what the hell was going on. And so, like,
- 19:06Speaker 3: she turned on the light, and she smacked him, and
- 19:08Speaker 3: I was like, I'm so sorry, brother. He's like, man,
- 19:11Speaker 3: leave me alone. I'm like, well, I mean, in a way,
- 19:14Speaker 3: that's what you get. You're messing with me, so who
- 19:16Speaker 3: else am I going to blame, you know?
- 19:18Speaker 22: Exactly.
- 19:19Speaker 8: Wow.
- 19:19Speaker 10: But that's what happened.
- 19:21Speaker 3: Like, no lie. Like, my mom can confirm it for you.
- 19:24Speaker 3: I was so, I slept with her that night.
- 19:26Speaker 10: Was that the only time you've ever had that.
- 19:28Speaker 8: Happen to you?
- 19:29Speaker 3: So with that situation, yes, but then it was weird
- 19:34Speaker 3: because I would want to say, like, two weeks later,
- 19:36Speaker 3: I saw, like, in that apartment that we lived in,
- 19:38Speaker 3: you know, my mom, she was, like, it was just us,
- 19:41Speaker 3: me and my older brother, and I seen a little
- 19:44Speaker 3: girl in the hallway run away.
- 19:46Speaker 6: Wow.
- 19:46Speaker 21: Jeez.
- 19:47Speaker 23: That's scary.
- 19:47Speaker 3: And my mom's like, are you crazy? And I'm like, no,
- 19:49Speaker 3: I'm not.
- 19:49Speaker 11: Crazy, Mom.
- 19:50Speaker 2: I swear.
- 19:50Speaker 3: And so she ended up seeing it, too.
- 19:52Speaker 2: Oh.
- 19:53Speaker 8: Like, a little girl.
- 19:53Speaker 3: Just standing there.
- 19:54Speaker 18: Wow.
- 19:55Speaker 3: And, like, as soon as we would see her, she
- 19:56Speaker 3: ran away.
- 19:57Speaker 1: That's wild. That's wild.
- 19:58Speaker 3: And I was like, oh, Mommy, we got to move
- 20:00Speaker 3: up out of here. Like, hell no.
- 20:02Speaker 8: All right.
- 20:03Speaker 1: Thanks for calling.
- 20:04Speaker 10: That's a great story.
- 20:04Speaker 2: Have a good weekend, Rome.
- 20:06Speaker 26: All right.
- 20:09Speaker 1: I have heard, and I don't know, I can't confirm this,
- 20:12Speaker 1: but I have heard that some, the reason I asked
- 20:14Speaker 1: her if that was the only time, because I have
- 20:16Speaker 1: heard that some ghosts will follow you. They attach themselves
- 20:20Speaker 1: to you, and they'll follow you. Like, they might be
- 20:22Speaker 1: in your car with you while you're driving. They might
- 20:25Speaker 1: be around at work with you when you're, they just...
- 20:28Speaker 1: that for some reason they attach themselves with you. And
- 20:30Speaker 1: now I don't know if that's true or not, but
- 20:31Speaker 1: that's just what I heard. Halloween's coming. Do you see
- 20:34Speaker 1: dead people? Have you ever seen a ghost already? Four, two, five, four,
- 20:37Speaker 1: seven to seven. Good morning.
- 20:39Speaker 19: How's it going on?
- 20:40Speaker 13: Hey, what's up, man?
- 20:41Speaker 19: You're still talking about the ghost in the house and
- 20:43Speaker 19: all that good stuff?
- 20:44Speaker 10: Yeah, what's up?
- 20:46Speaker 19: My sister, she lives in the house right there in Lamont,
- 20:49Speaker 19: over by San Diego Street. And one day I was
- 20:53Speaker 19: talking to my brother-in-law and... And he left me talking
- 20:57Speaker 19: like he always does. And when I turned around and
- 21:00Speaker 19: got out of the kitchen area, I had the kitchen double-inching.
- 21:04Speaker 19: And I seen a guy walking into the kitchen. I said,
- 21:06Speaker 19: come on, man.
- 21:06Speaker 23: Why are you playing with me like that?
- 21:07Speaker 19: So I went back. There was nobody there, bro. There
- 21:11Speaker 19: wasn't even my brother-in-law. I was like, oh, shoot. And
- 21:14Speaker 19: there was like a bunch of things going on in
- 21:16Speaker 19: the house. I seen a little girl wearing a tutu.
- 21:19Speaker 19: And then I seen like a couple people in there.
- 21:22Speaker 19: They look like full-figured people, but... I mean, my sister's
- 21:25Speaker 19: the one that did it, so I didn't recognize any
- 21:27Speaker 19: of those people.
- 21:27Speaker 1: Did somebody die in there, or did they just, uh,
- 21:31Speaker 1: was it, uh, was it just, you think it's just
- 21:33Speaker 1: a haunted house?
- 21:34Speaker 19: It's just a haunted house. Like, my sister heard steps, like,
- 21:37Speaker 19: boot steps outside. Like I said, I seen a little girl,
- 21:41Speaker 19: I seen a guy, I seen a bunch of stuff.
- 21:44Speaker 19: And I remember I took a toy for my daughters
- 21:47Speaker 19: to just store it in my sister's garage.
- 21:50Speaker 21: Yeah.
- 21:50Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 21:51Speaker 19: And out of nowhere, it fell from where we put it,
- 21:54Speaker 19: where it was a secured area. And then while it
- 21:57Speaker 19: was just sitting still in the center of the garage,
- 22:00Speaker 19: it shook out of nowhere, bro.
- 22:02Speaker 21: Really?
- 22:03Speaker 19: Yeah, we're like, oh, I'm out. Come on, let's get
- 22:07Speaker 19: out of here. I don't want to see ghosts today.
- 22:09Speaker 19: I already seen enough. My first shirt today.
- 22:11Speaker 10: That's pretty funny, man. Hey, thanks for calling.
- 22:16Speaker 19: No problem, man.
- 22:17Speaker 1: All right, brother.
- 22:17Speaker 5: Later.
- 22:18Speaker 3: Later.
- 22:19Speaker 1: Hey, did it ever occur to you guys that the
- 22:21Speaker 1: reason you're seeing these ghosts is because people have died
- 22:27Speaker 1: in that house in the past and they just didn't
- 22:30Speaker 1: have to disclose it to you because of the statute
- 22:33Speaker 1: of limitations on whatever the law in California is? Has
- 22:35Speaker 1: that ever occurred to anybody that the reason your house
- 22:38Speaker 1: is haunted is because somebody died there 10, 20, 30
- 22:40Speaker 1: years ago?
- 22:42Speaker 10: Or 100 years ago, or however long it could be?
- 22:44Speaker 1: Well, a lot of people believe in ghosts. And a
- 22:46Speaker 1: lot of people, you will say that you've seen ghosts, right?
- 22:49Speaker 1: So what happened? 8-4-2-5-4, 7-7. A lot of you guys
- 22:53Speaker 1: just get drunk.
- 22:54Speaker 10: And, you know, see things. But it has nothing to
- 22:57Speaker 10: do with actually seeing ghosts. Sorry, 8-4-2-5-4, 7-7. So, you
- 23:02Speaker 10: ever seen a ghost? What happened?
- 23:03Speaker 1: Good morning, Al.
- 23:04Speaker 10: What's going on?
- 23:04Speaker 14: What's going on, Rome? Chili Gilly.
- 23:06Speaker 10: What up, Gilly?
- 23:07Speaker 14: I got to tell you something real quick.
- 23:09Speaker 8: I went with my.
- 23:11Speaker 14: Realtor, years ago, they had a five-bedroom, four-bath.
- 23:17Speaker 8: They had it for $ 360, 000.
- 23:17Speaker 14: Beautiful home. So anyway, on the little picture he was
- 23:23Speaker 14: showing me, I said, man, I got to go see
- 23:26Speaker 14: that master bedroom because it had a beautiful tub, you know,
- 23:30Speaker 14: this and that.
- 23:30Speaker 10: Sure.
- 23:31Speaker 8: So anyway, we walk in there, and I feel a
- 23:35Speaker 8: little something.
- 23:36Speaker 14: Well, I look over at Freddie, and he kind of
- 23:38Speaker 14: looks over at me. I say, hey, let's go check
- 23:40Speaker 14: out that. We went from that room to finally going
- 23:45Speaker 14: to that master bedroom where that was, and it was
- 23:49Speaker 14: like ice cold in there.
- 23:50Speaker 8: He goes, hey, you and Annette, go ahead and check
- 23:52Speaker 8: it out. I'll be outside.
- 23:53Speaker 14: I said, hell no, I'm with you, brother. Annette was
- 23:56Speaker 14: already outside.
- 23:57Speaker 8: She said, I could feel it.
- 23:59Speaker 15: Wow.
- 24:00Speaker 14: Oh, yeah. And I'm not afraid of nothing, man, but oh, boy.
- 24:06Speaker 14: It touched my heart a little bit, man, because it
- 24:09Speaker 14: was a difference of like 30 degrees.
- 24:12Speaker 2: Really?
- 24:12Speaker 14: And I could just feel it in there, man. And
- 24:15Speaker 14: I said, huh, no wonder they're getting a good deal.
- 24:19Speaker 2: But anyway, I'll.
- 24:20Speaker 3: Talk to you later.
- 24:21Speaker 17: Later, man.
- 24:22Speaker 10: That's crazy right there. All right, ghost stories. Have you
- 24:24Speaker 10: seen a ghost? Good morning. What's going on?
- 24:27Speaker 4: Hey, Romeo, I want to tell you about my ghost
- 24:30Speaker 4: danger experience.
- 24:31Speaker 1: What happened?
- 24:33Speaker 21: Okay, so my son, I had to come to the hospital,
- 24:36Speaker 21: and when I brought him back home, he was in
- 24:39Speaker 21: a crib. Well, when I brought him home, I put
- 24:41Speaker 21: him in his crib, and then I really waking up
- 24:46Speaker 21: like around 1.
- 24:48Speaker 6: Okay.
- 24:49Speaker 21: I seen a little girl standing next to him with
- 24:54Speaker 21: long hair and.
- 24:59Speaker 21: And she was wearing like a baptism, like a dress.
- 25:03Speaker 21: You know how back in the day they had little hats?
- 25:06Speaker 8: Yep.
- 25:06Speaker 10: I know what you're talking about.
- 25:08Speaker 21: So I remember seeing that. And it was right after
- 25:11Speaker 21: he got out of the hospital.
- 25:14Speaker 10: Do you think maybe the little girl followed you home
- 25:17Speaker 10: from the hospital?
- 25:17Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 25:19Speaker 21: That's what I'm thinking. It was probably like an angel.
- 25:21Speaker 23: And it was a.
- 25:22Speaker 21: Children's hospital as well.
- 25:23Speaker 20: Wow.
- 25:24Speaker 10: That is so creepy. Have you ever seen her again?
- 25:29Speaker 21: No, but I always tell that story to a lot
- 25:31Speaker 21: of people because I know I've seen her.
- 25:33Speaker 10: Has your son ever seen the ghost?
- 25:36Speaker 21: No, he's already 10.
- 25:37Speaker 3: He was like 2.
- 25:39Speaker 10: But he's never seen her since then. Okay, all right.
- 25:43Speaker 10: Was your son okay from the hospital?
- 25:46Speaker 21: Yeah.
- 25:48Speaker 10: I'm wondering if maybe your son, she was watching over
- 25:50Speaker 10: your son.
- 25:54Speaker 4: Yeah, like a guardian angel.
- 25:55Speaker 10: Yeah, that's wild.
- 25:56Speaker 12: Wild.
- 25:57Speaker 10: That gave me goosebumps. Hey, thanks for calling.
- 25:59Speaker 9: All right.
- 26:00Speaker 2: Later.
- 26:01Speaker 21: All righty.
- 26:01Speaker 1: Four, two, five, four, seven to seven. Like I said,
- 26:04Speaker 1: have you seen it goes? I'm thinking maybe that little
- 26:06Speaker 1: girl was watching over her son. And that's why the
- 26:09Speaker 1: son might have been in some sort of more, more
- 26:11Speaker 1: danger from whatever he was sick from. And maybe that
- 26:14Speaker 1: little girl followed him home to take care of him.
- 26:18Speaker 10: That's wild. Let's talk about your ghost stories. All right,
- 26:20Speaker 10: do you see dead people? Have you ever seen a ghost?
- 26:23Speaker 1: What do you got?
- 26:24Speaker 21: 842-547-07.
- 26:24Speaker 10: What's going on?
- 26:26Speaker 11: Hey, Romeo.
- 26:27Speaker 10: Hey, what's going on?
- 26:29Speaker 26: Hey, so I just had to call in to tell
- 26:31Speaker 26: you my experience. Like, I was so skeptical at one
- 26:34Speaker 26: point in my life until I lived in a house
- 26:36Speaker 26: that was haunted.
- 26:38Speaker 20: Really?
- 26:39Speaker 10: What happened?
- 26:40Speaker 27: Okay, so I have.
- 26:41Speaker 26: My teenage son. He was sitting in his room, and
- 26:43Speaker 26: his back was against the wall, and there's nobody that
- 26:45Speaker 26: could be behind him, obviously, and he was drawing.
- 26:48Speaker 27: So he yelled at his little sister.
- 26:50Speaker 5: He goes, go to sleep.
- 26:51Speaker 27: And then she, you know, I hear him yelling.
- 26:53Speaker 11: So I'm like, who's he yelling at?
- 26:54Speaker 27: So I go in there and I'm like, who are
- 26:55Speaker 27: you yelling at?
- 26:56Speaker 4: He goes, Miranda, I told.
- 26:57Speaker 3: Her to get to bed. It's already late.
- 26:59Speaker 27: I said, babe, she's been asleep.
- 27:02Speaker 26: I heard her voice and I was like, no, I
- 27:04Speaker 26: put her to sleep.
- 27:05Speaker 5: She's asleep in my room.
- 27:07Speaker 27: So, you know, I just kind of like brushed it off.
- 27:09Speaker 26: And then the next incident, it was like 5 o'clock
- 27:11Speaker 26: in the morning.
- 27:11Speaker 15: I'm the only one up getting ready for work.
- 27:14Speaker 27: And I hear like these three loud knocks on the
- 27:16Speaker 27: bathroom door.
- 27:16Speaker 3: And it startled me.
- 27:17Speaker 14: So bad I got pissed.
- 27:18Speaker 27: I was like, why are my kids up banging on
- 27:21Speaker 27: the bathroom door? So I go into his room and
- 27:23Speaker 27: I was like, what are you guys doing? And, you know,
- 27:25Speaker 27: they're knocked dead, dead asleep. And my son wakes up
- 27:28Speaker 27: and he goes, who are you yelling at?
- 27:30Speaker 17: And I'm like, who knocked on my door?
- 27:31Speaker 3: And he goes, Mama, we're asleep.
- 27:33Speaker 27: Like, what are you talking about? And you can tell
- 27:34Speaker 27: the sleepiness.
- 27:35Speaker 13: In his eyes.
- 27:35Speaker 10: Yeah, absolutely.
- 27:37Speaker 11: Yeah so i was like.
- 27:38Speaker 26: Oh my and that pissed me off i was like
- 27:40Speaker 26: you know what it's one.
- 27:41Speaker 27: Thing to scare me but don't do that to my
- 27:42Speaker 27: kids like don't do that and then yeah and then
- 27:47Speaker 27: making a silhouette of a little kid so we're like
- 27:49Speaker 27: okay it's a little kid it's some little kid that
- 27:52Speaker 27: passed away in that.
- 27:53Speaker 1: Home dang never say you yelled at the ghost i.
- 27:56Speaker 26: Was so mad at first i got scared i said
- 28:00Speaker 26: first of all you know okay it's me but then
- 28:02Speaker 26: If you.
- 28:02Speaker 27: Start scaring my children, that's another thing. Don't do that
- 28:05Speaker 27: to my kids.
- 28:06Speaker 10: Talking about ghost stories, right?
- 28:08Speaker 3: R-8-4-2-5-4.
- 28:08Speaker 2: 7-7.
- 28:08Speaker 10: Have you ever seen a ghost?
- 28:12Speaker 9: Good morning.
- 28:12Speaker 10: How's it going on?
- 28:12Speaker 2: Good morning, Romeo. I have to tell you about when
- 28:15Speaker 2: I was a little girl.
- 28:18Speaker 10: Hey, hold on. First of all, you sound so professional
- 28:21Speaker 10: when you talk.
- 28:24Speaker 14: I do?
- 28:24Speaker 21: Yeah.
- 28:25Speaker 10: Good morning, Romeo. I thought you were an automated service
- 28:29Speaker 10: for a moment.
- 28:30Speaker 1: All right.
- 28:32Speaker 12: What's going on?
- 28:32Speaker 23: What happened?
- 28:33Speaker 2: Hey, what's up, Romeo?
- 28:34Speaker 10: Yeah, there you go.
- 28:36Speaker 2: What's going on?
- 28:38Speaker 10: Well, the reason I said.
- 28:39Speaker 21: Hold on.
- 28:39Speaker 10: I'll tell you why I say that.
- 28:40Speaker 1: Because James, the insurance guy, the farmer's guy, when you
- 28:44Speaker 1: call him and he doesn't answer.
- 28:46Speaker 10: It says, hello, Romeo. James is not available. And it
- 28:50Speaker 10: sounded just like you. And I thought it was kind
- 28:53Speaker 10: of weird. But okay, go ahead. What happened?
- 28:54Speaker 2: Okay, if I call in now from here on out,
- 28:56Speaker 2: I'll be like, hey, what's up, Romeo?
- 28:58Speaker 1: Yes, exactly.
- 28:59Speaker 10: What's going on?
- 29:01Speaker 2: When I was a little girl, this kind of ties
- 29:04Speaker 2: in also to that voodoo stuff. But a bunch of
- 29:08Speaker 2: us kids went to my grandmother's house. And we were
- 29:10Speaker 2: playing and dancing. We were never... Nobody was ever allowed
- 29:15Speaker 2: to go into my grandmother's room.
- 29:17Speaker 6: Ever.
- 29:17Speaker 2: My grandma and my grandpa's room. Nobody. Not even her kids.
- 29:21Speaker 2: But we were playing, and we ran into her room,
- 29:23Speaker 2: and we were yelling and screaming and everything. And then
- 29:27Speaker 2: all of a sudden, one of our cousins... He wasn't there.
- 29:30Speaker 2: We don't know where he was. But anyways, all of
- 29:33Speaker 2: a sudden, up in the corner... And and we're kids
- 29:37Speaker 2: you know we don't anyways we looked up in the
- 29:40Speaker 2: corner and there was our cousin fighting with Jesus and
- 29:43Speaker 2: we all said it was Jesus because we didn't know
- 29:47Speaker 2: we ran out of there yelling and crying and we
- 29:50Speaker 2: went to our parents and they're like what's wrong you
- 29:52Speaker 2: know I thought maybe it was just me yeah There
- 29:55Speaker 2: was about four or five of us, and then we
- 29:57Speaker 2: were all crying, saying, Danny boy's fighting with swords with Jesus.
- 30:03Speaker 2: And he wasn't even there. But it was so, that
- 30:07Speaker 2: has stayed with me forever.
- 30:09Speaker 21: Wow.
- 30:09Speaker 2: And every once in a while, I'll ask my same cousins, hey,
- 30:13Speaker 2: do you remember? They're like, yes. It was the trippiest thing.
- 30:17Speaker 2: And we never went in my grandmother's house, or my
- 30:19Speaker 2: grandmother's room again.
- 30:19Speaker 10: What was in your grandmother's room? Was she into voodoo?
- 30:22Speaker 2: We think she might have dabbled into it, but, you know,
- 30:26Speaker 2: there's no real clear-cut anything. Like, you know, whenever one
- 30:30Speaker 2: of us would get something, she would put that egg
- 30:33Speaker 2: underneath the bed.
- 30:34Speaker 8: Oh, sure.
- 30:35Speaker 2: The whole thing like that. I mean, you know, that's
- 30:37Speaker 2: so totally, like, out there. But, yeah, we tripped out
- 30:42Speaker 2: so much.
- 30:42Speaker 1: Because normally grandparents don't want you in the room because
- 30:44Speaker 1: they're still having sex, and they don't want you to
- 30:46Speaker 1: know that.
- 30:47Speaker 2: Yeah, I didn't want to think about that with my grandmother,
- 30:50Speaker 2: but yes, could very well be. But even my parents,
- 30:53Speaker 2: you know, my parents, my parents' siblings, no one was
- 30:57Speaker 2: allowed in there.
- 30:58Speaker 10: So it's something.
- 30:59Speaker 2: Yeah, and my grandma didn't say anything to us.
- 31:01Speaker 10: Did your grandmother have a locked room somewhere?
- 31:04Speaker 2: No, it was never locked. It was just forbidden.
- 31:06Speaker 8: Wow.
- 31:06Speaker 2: When you go through the hallway, because there was a
- 31:09Speaker 2: living room and everything, and then you go and there's
- 31:10Speaker 2: a small hallway, and to the left is my grandmother's.
- 31:14Speaker 2: And then to the right is like the bathroom and
- 31:17Speaker 2: the other rooms. And we were never allowed to go left.
- 31:19Speaker 2: No matter what, we learned at a very young age
- 31:22Speaker 2: what left and right was. When you go to grandma's,
- 31:24Speaker 2: you only.
- 31:25Speaker 1: Go this way.
- 31:29Speaker 10: Oh, 8-4-2-5-4-7-7. You ever seen a ghost? I bet her
- 31:31Speaker 10: grandma was a witch. I bet her grandma was a witch.
- 31:33Speaker 10: What did you send me here? Hey, Rome, I love Halloween.
- 31:37Speaker 1: So when I moved into my new house a few
- 31:40Speaker 1: years ago, Buena Vista in Panama.
- 31:41Speaker 20: Okay.
- 31:42Speaker 21: Okay.
- 31:43Speaker 1: I went all out. Props, strobe lights, maize, candy. Only
- 31:46Speaker 1: had maybe 20 kids all night. Shook my head. It
- 31:50Speaker 1: wasn't worth it. Well, it was probably worth it for
- 31:52Speaker 1: those 20 kids. You know, you really don't know. I'm
- 31:57Speaker 1: going to tell you that I go out. I do
- 32:02Speaker 1: something unique for Halloween, okay, every year. And you don't
- 32:09Speaker 1: really think much of it. Now, I get a lot
- 32:10Speaker 1: of kids in my neighborhood for the most part. But
- 32:13Speaker 1: you don't really think much of it until somebody says something.
- 32:18Speaker 1: And last year, I was doing what we always do
- 32:20Speaker 1: for Halloween, and a kid came up to me, or
- 32:24Speaker 1: came up to, you know, the house, and he said, hey, man,
- 32:29Speaker 1: we had to come check it out. He's in college now, but,
- 32:32Speaker 1: you know, he grew up.
- 32:34Speaker 10: In my neighborhood, and.
- 32:37Speaker 1: He remembers every Halloween what I do for Halloween. And
- 32:41Speaker 1: so when you think about it, Like you said, it
- 32:44Speaker 1: wasn't worth it for you, but it might have been
- 32:46Speaker 1: worth it for those 20 kids. And maybe if one
- 32:48Speaker 1: of those kids had said something to you about how
- 32:50Speaker 1: great it was, it would have been worth it to you.
- 32:53Speaker 10: So you got to think about it like that. I mean,
- 32:58Speaker 10: it was worth it. It was worth it to do it.
- 33:01Speaker 1: Alrighty, 425477. I love Halloween. It's great. We're going to
- 33:07Speaker 1: talk about the rules of Halloween tomorrow, though, because there
- 33:10Speaker 1: is something to be said. Everybody has a role in Halloween.
- 33:14Speaker 1: The trick-or-treater, the customer, the person, the homeowner. You guys
- 33:20Speaker 1: all got a role. We'll talk about that tomorrow, though.
- 33:23Speaker 1: Let's get some Puff Puff Pass tickets. Puff Puff Pass.
- 33:26Speaker 1: Let's get you some tickets right now. Caller 29.
- 33:27Speaker 23: 842-54.
- 33:27Speaker 10: What's going on?
- 33:31Speaker 8: Morning, morning.
- 33:32Speaker 1: Hey, you're call number 29. Congratulations.
- 33:35Speaker 8: Well, yeah, thank you.
- 33:37Speaker 10: What's your name, man?
- 33:37Speaker 12: Jose.
- 33:38Speaker 14: All right, Jose, you got.
- 33:39Speaker 10: Tickets to Snoop Dogg, the Puff Puff Fast.
- 33:41Speaker 19: Store, okay?
- 33:43Speaker 14: All right, thank you.
- 33:43Speaker 10: All right, so there we go.
- 33:44Speaker 1: We got Puff Puff Fast Store. You know, so one
- 33:47Speaker 1: of the funny things is we email these tickets to you, okay?
- 33:51Speaker 1: And it is so funny what some of your email
- 33:56Speaker 1: addresses are. I know you started, like, You start them
- 33:59Speaker 1: when you're young, so you have like bootylicious 12, 12,
- 34:02Speaker 1: 20 or something, 606 or whatever we are, 805, whatever, right?
- 34:08Speaker 1: And then you never change them when you're an adult.
- 34:10Speaker 1: And it's so funny seeing what email addresses you guys have.
- 34:16Speaker 1: You ever seen a ghost? What's going on?
- 34:19Speaker 23: Hey, what's up, Romy?
- 34:20Speaker 8: Raider Rob here.
- 34:20Speaker 10: What up, Rob?
- 34:22Speaker 24: What's up, brother? Hey, this past weekend, Sunday, I went
- 34:25Speaker 24: to a wedding in Temecula up in the hills, right?
- 34:29Speaker 24: And it was in the afternoon, so it got dark
- 34:31Speaker 24: after we ate. And after they started closing down, we
- 34:33Speaker 24: started to walk out, me and the old lady and
- 34:35Speaker 24: her brother. So we go to the car and we
- 34:37Speaker 24: start talking, right? And then I get this bright idea, like, hey,
- 34:41Speaker 24: I got.
- 34:41Speaker 1: To go to the restroom.
- 34:42Speaker 24: So I walked to the trees in the shadows in
- 34:44Speaker 24: the dark. And as I'm over there using the restroom,
- 34:47Speaker 24: I hear something. I look to the side. And I see, like,
- 34:51Speaker 24: a gray thing, and I'm looking like, man, what is that?
- 34:53Speaker 24: It could be a butler or something, because this is.
- 34:55Speaker 8: Where we're in the dark.
- 34:57Speaker 24: So I hear, like, a little, like, a buzzing, and
- 34:59Speaker 24: I look again, and I started to zip up my
- 35:02Speaker 24: pants and walk away. And then as I did, I
- 35:04Speaker 24: looked to the other side. It was on the other
- 35:05Speaker 24: side then. I was like, man, am I seeing things?
- 35:07Speaker 13: And believe it or not, I didn't drink, so.
- 35:10Speaker 8: You know what I mean? I don't know what it was.
- 35:12Speaker 1: The hills of Temecula? Do the hills of Temecula have eyes?
- 35:16Speaker 1: Is that what's going on out there? I don't know, brother.
- 35:19Speaker 24: But all I know is that I was speeding it up,
- 35:22Speaker 24: trying to get out of there.
- 35:22Speaker 8: All I had was a little pocket knife on me.
- 35:24Speaker 7: How are you going to stab a ghost, Rob?
- 35:28Speaker 8: I don't know, man.
- 35:28Speaker 24: I'll just cut the sheets or something.
- 35:30Speaker 1: You know what I mean?
- 35:34Speaker 10: Oh, that's great.
- 35:35Speaker 1: All right, Rob. Rob was going to shank somebody with
- 35:41Speaker 1: a Swiss Army knife. What is wrong? You can't shank
- 35:44Speaker 1: a ghost, fool.
- 35:46Speaker 22: R24254727.
- 35:46Speaker 1: Yeah, ghost stories, man. Have you seen a ghost? Have
- 35:50Speaker 1: you seen?
- 35:51Speaker 10: I know there's.
- 35:52Speaker 1: A couple of stories locally of ghosts at the BC Stadium.
- 35:57Speaker 1: There's some road, I guess, where you drive out and
- 35:59Speaker 1: there's a ghost hitchhiker. Have you guys heard of that one?
- 36:02Speaker 1: I don't know. I saw something one time. I was driving.
- 36:07Speaker 1: It was about 3 in the morning. I was coming
- 36:10Speaker 1: to the studio. And I thought a car. Now, at
- 36:16Speaker 1: 3 in the morning, there's nobody on the road. I
- 36:18Speaker 1: thought what I saw was a car. I'm heading down
- 36:22Speaker 1: Olive Drive towards 99. And when I cross over coffee.
- 36:31Speaker 1: Was it coffee or Calloway? No, it was Calloway. When
- 36:34Speaker 1: I cross over Callaway, a car pulls behind me. I
- 36:40Speaker 1: saw it clear as day that this car pulled and
- 36:44Speaker 1: started following me. Well, then I look up, and it's gone.
- 36:49Speaker 1: It just disappeared. Now, it was crazy.
- 36:54Speaker 10: It was crazy. All right, um.
- 36:56Speaker 1: Yeah, you ever seen a ghost or seen something paranormal,
- 36:59Speaker 1: something crazy? Talking about ghosts, man, you ever seen any ghosts,
- 37:02Speaker 1: maybe a paranormal activity or something like that? Hey, Rome,
- 37:06Speaker 1: let's see here. Me and my wife went to a
- 37:08Speaker 1: concert a couple years ago, rented the cheapest hotel we
- 37:13Speaker 1: could find, got a corner room. With nobody around us,
- 37:19Speaker 1: the hotel was pretty empty. We woke up in the
- 37:21Speaker 1: middle of the night to tapping and scratching along the walls.
- 37:26Speaker 1: But when I would go outside and look... Let's see.
- 37:29Speaker 1: But when I would go look outside the door, I
- 37:32Speaker 1: didn't see anything. And this continued on for two nights.
- 37:37Speaker 10: Wait, hold on.
- 37:39Speaker 1: It happened the first night and you stayed for another night? Okay,
- 37:44Speaker 1: we'll get back to that.
- 37:46Speaker 10: I didn't see.
- 37:48Speaker 1: It continued for two nights. We were there. When we
- 37:52Speaker 1: checked out, we asked the front desk girl if anybody
- 37:55Speaker 1: was around us because we heard noises. She says we
- 38:00Speaker 1: were the only ones in that section to this day.
- 38:04Speaker 1: We still go back and think about it. Do you
- 38:10Speaker 1: still go back to the hotel? What was the hotel?
- 38:14Speaker 1: I can't believe you stayed the second night. If that
- 38:17Speaker 1: happened the first night, I'm out.
- 38:19Speaker 10: I'm gone.
- 38:20Speaker 1: What is wrong with you? It wasn't the Padre, was it?
- 38:25Speaker 1: Somebody says, somebody told me the Padre is haunted. There's
- 38:29Speaker 1: one of the floors or one of the rooms of
- 38:30Speaker 1: the Padre Hotel is haunted.
- 38:32Speaker 10: That's funny.
- 38:35Speaker 1: All right.
- 38:37Speaker 2: 842-547-7.
- 38:38Speaker 1: You ever seen a ghost? How about a paranormal activity?
- 38:41Speaker 1: Anything like that? Hotels are the worst. Talking about ghost stories, man.
- 38:45Speaker 1: You ever seen something crazy? Good morning, Hal. What's going on?
- 38:47Speaker 12: Morning, Romeo.
- 38:48Speaker 8: How you doing?
- 38:48Speaker 1: I'm doing fabulous, man. What's up?
- 38:51Speaker 13: So, I got a good one for you.
- 38:52Speaker 8: Okay.
- 38:54Speaker 13: So, this is back when I was in high school.
- 38:56Speaker 13: I grew up in Bear Valley, in Tatchpee.
- 38:58Speaker 19: Okay.
- 39:00Speaker 13: So, anyways, I grew up on the side of a mountain,
- 39:03Speaker 13: and my friends and I decided to go exploring on
- 39:05Speaker 13: the mountain. Well, we found some old Native American, you know, stuff.
- 39:12Speaker 2: On the mountain.
- 39:14Speaker 13: Um, anyways, we mess with the stuff, you know, kids
- 39:18Speaker 13: do stuff like that all the time. And, uh, anyways,
- 39:23Speaker 13: my friends went home. I went back home later that
- 39:26Speaker 13: night when I, went to go to bed.
- 39:30Speaker 12: I happened to look.
- 39:31Speaker 13: To the side and I saw like a shadow of
- 39:35Speaker 13: what looked like an Indian chief.
- 39:36Speaker 16: Okay.
- 39:38Speaker 13: And it started floating towards my bed.
- 39:40Speaker 22: Okay. Okay.
- 39:42Speaker 13: Anyways, I got up, I ran out of the room,
- 39:44Speaker 13: and that was, you know, the end of the story, but.
- 39:47Speaker 1: Did, by any chance, did he have a patch, I mean,
- 39:51Speaker 1: a little, like a little pocket, a little leather thing
- 39:57Speaker 1: under his arm, under his armpit, or on his armpit,
- 40:01Speaker 1: like a leather pouch?
- 40:03Speaker 8: You know what?
- 40:04Speaker 13: I did not pay that much attention to it because
- 40:06Speaker 13: I was scared as hell and I got the hell
- 40:07Speaker 13: out of there.
- 40:08Speaker 27: All right.
- 40:13Speaker 13: But regardless, the point of the story is don't f
- 40:16Speaker 13: * * * Native American stuff.
- 40:17Speaker 27: Okay.
- 40:18Speaker 1: You know, it's funny that you say that because I
- 40:20Speaker 1: grew up on a reservation and I mess with Native
- 40:22Speaker 1: American stuff all the.
- 40:23Speaker 10: Time and nothing ever happened to me.
- 40:25Speaker 13: Damn, you're one of the lucky ones.
- 40:27Speaker 10: I'll run back in later.
- 40:31Speaker 1: We mess with all kinds of native stuff on the
- 40:33Speaker 1: res when we live there.
- 40:35Speaker 10: Yeah, all right, that's funny.
- 40:37Speaker 1: Yeah, there is a story. There's an old story on
- 40:38Speaker 1: my reservation about the engine devil. Once you look at him,
- 40:44Speaker 1: don't ever look back because he'll come and get you.
- 40:48Speaker 1: But he has like a leather pouch under his arm.
- 40:53Speaker 1: Talking about ghosts and stories. You see anything? Says, good morning, Romeo.
- 40:57Speaker 1: My grandmother's house was haunted. My grandfather bought this house.
- 41:01Speaker 1: from a shoemaker that said his wife had ran off
- 41:04Speaker 1: with another man, so he bought it cheap. Later, we
- 41:06Speaker 1: started to see women in the yard and a white
- 41:10Speaker 1: dress running around, so when there was a flood, a
- 41:16Speaker 1: part of the backyard sunk in, and it was the
- 41:19Speaker 1: size of a grave. My grandmother asked the priest to
- 41:21Speaker 1: bless the site and all And all the signs or
- 41:29Speaker 1: sights of the image disappeared. Are you serious? So you
- 41:36Speaker 1: think the man killed his wife at the house?
- 41:40Speaker 8: Maybe.
- 41:40Speaker 10: Morning, how's it going on?
- 41:42Speaker 17: Good morning, Romeo.
- 41:43Speaker 10: Hey, what up?
- 41:44Speaker 3: So my ghost story has to do with my job.
- 41:48Speaker 1: What happened?
- 41:49Speaker 17: And I'm a knock shift worker, so I work from
- 41:51Speaker 17: 11 to 7 in the morning. I am a caregiver
- 41:54Speaker 17: for a boarding facility.
- 41:56Speaker 1: Wow.
- 41:57Speaker 10: That's got to be scary.
- 41:59Speaker 17: And it is because I work with people that have
- 42:01Speaker 17: mental illnesses.
- 42:03Speaker 1: Okay.
- 42:04Speaker 3: Yeah, so it's pretty bad.
- 42:06Speaker 17: So I work on the men's side, to top it off.
- 42:09Speaker 25: I'm the only female that works on.
- 42:10Speaker 17: The men's side.
- 42:11Speaker 18: Yeah.
- 42:12Speaker 8: Right.
- 42:12Speaker 17: So one day I'm there by myself, and I'm sitting
- 42:17Speaker 17: at my desk, and I can see the front door
- 42:19Speaker 17: from my desk perfectly. And it just opens, and it's shut,
- 42:24Speaker 17: completely shut, and it just opens.
- 42:25Speaker 23: And I'm like, oh, no.
- 42:27Speaker 17: Like, I believe in ghosts and I believe in all
- 42:29Speaker 17: that stuff, but I was like, there's no way I
- 42:30Speaker 17: want to walk from here to there to go shut that.
- 42:33Speaker 17: So I text my co-worker, my one that's in our
- 42:36Speaker 17: second building, to come over here to my side so
- 42:39Speaker 17: she could shut the door.
- 42:40Speaker 26: Oh, my God.
- 42:44Speaker 17: I told her, like, this door just opened by itself.
- 42:47Speaker 17: And she was like, yeah, I heard that we have
- 42:49Speaker 17: a ghost here.
- 42:50Speaker 3: I was like, oh, all of a sudden, I've.
- 42:51Speaker 4: Been here a year, and you guys just want to tell.
- 42:53Speaker 2: Me about this?
- 42:55Speaker 23: Yeah, that would have been good.
- 42:57Speaker 17: So there's another time where my coworker, he was there
- 43:02Speaker 17: actually with me, and I'm sitting there, and.
- 43:04Speaker 2: I'm just like.
- 43:05Speaker 17: oh my God, the door just opened. He goes, what?
- 43:08Speaker 17: He goes, it opened for you? I go, look, it's
- 43:12Speaker 17: like literally, and I'm telling you, it's the middle of
- 43:13Speaker 17: the night, three o'clock in the morning, four o'clock in
- 43:15Speaker 17: the morning.
- 43:16Speaker 2: It's like, I'm.
- 43:17Speaker 17: Not going to get up and get out.
- 43:18Speaker 3: I start crying because I'm a sissy.
- 43:21Speaker 17: When it comes to stuff like that, I.
- 43:22Speaker 3: Am a sissy.
- 43:23Speaker 1: That is so funny.
- 43:24Speaker 17: Can you please get up and go shut the door?
- 43:26Speaker 17: And he's like, oh, well, they had just told me
- 43:28Speaker 17: that somebody had died in here. And I'm like, what
- 43:30Speaker 17: the hell?
- 43:31Speaker 5: All of a sudden?
- 43:33Speaker 17: Like, seriously? So, that is our thing. Like, literally, yesterday morning,
- 43:38Speaker 17: right before the shift changed, um... We're all, my residents
- 43:42Speaker 17: are sitting in the living room and the door opens
- 43:46Speaker 17: and everybody just turns and looks at the door and
- 43:49Speaker 17: then turns and looks at me. And I'm like, no, no.
- 43:56Speaker 1: That's so funny. That is so funny. Thanks for calling.
- 44:04Speaker 1: Oh man.
- 44:04Speaker 4: Hey Rome.
- 44:05Speaker 1: I think all these stories are full of it. Tell
- 44:07Speaker 1: the people that lay off the drugs.
- 44:09Speaker 10: Um, I don't know if it's real or not, man.
- 44:12Speaker 20: I don't know.
- 44:13Speaker 1: Your mind is a pretty, the mind is a pretty incredible,
- 44:17Speaker 1: you know, it's pretty incredible for what it can do.
- 44:21Speaker 10: We just, we don't know. So maybe it is playing
- 44:24Speaker 10: tricks on you. Maybe it's not.
- 44:25Speaker 1: All right. Or some sort of paranormal type of activity,
- 44:29Speaker 1: you know.
- 44:29Speaker 6: 842-547-7.
- 44:30Speaker 1: Good morning. What's going on? Good morning, Romeo. Hey, what's up?
- 44:37Speaker 2: Okay.
- 44:37Speaker 25: So when I was younger, I was a little girl.
- 44:39Speaker 25: I spent the night at a friend's house and I
- 44:42Speaker 25: woke up, you know, to go pee. And when I
- 44:45Speaker 25: was walking to the bathroom, there's like the heater in
- 44:47Speaker 25: front of the bathroom and the other side of the
- 44:48Speaker 25: heater was the living room. Well, anyway, I woke up,
- 44:51Speaker 25: and as I came out of the bedroom, I seen
- 44:53Speaker 25: an image. And then as I really focused my eyes,
- 44:57Speaker 25: it was a little devil kneeling. And as he turned
- 45:00Speaker 25: to look at me, I seen.
- 45:02Speaker 9: She had a brother that passed away.
- 45:03Speaker 25: And I seen the devil's face, and I seen his face.
- 45:07Speaker 25: I seen the devil's face, and I seen his face.
- 45:09Speaker 25: And he got his finger, and he put it by
- 45:10Speaker 25: his mouth like this.
- 45:17Speaker 1: You saw the face of a person inside the devil?
- 45:22Speaker 3: Yes.
- 45:22Speaker 1: Oh, my God.
- 45:23Speaker 10: Okay.
- 45:24Speaker 21: No, go ahead.
- 45:24Speaker 25: Finish your story.
- 45:25Speaker 10: Sorry.
- 45:27Speaker 8: I didn't go pee.
- 45:28Speaker 3: I just stepped backwards all the way back into the bed.
- 45:31Speaker 1: How did you not go home?
- 45:34Speaker 10: How did you not call your mom and go home?
- 45:37Speaker 25: Because I got back in bed and I started praying.
- 45:41Speaker 5: That's insane.
- 45:42Speaker 1: I started praying.
- 45:43Speaker 2: Uh-huh, and her brother did pass.
- 45:45Speaker 7: I did know, I knew a woman, well, I still
- 45:49Speaker 7: know her, but when she was in her 20s, she
- 45:53Speaker 7: said that she was laying in bed one time in
- 45:55Speaker 7: a rocking chair in her room that the devil just
- 45:58Speaker 7: appeared sitting there.
- 45:59Speaker 8: Oh, wow.
- 46:00Speaker 10: She said that, and.
- 46:01Speaker 1: It was like, it was the craziest thing she said.
- 46:05Speaker 10: She'd ever seen.
- 46:06Speaker 8: I don't know.
- 46:06Speaker 25: Yeah, go ahead.
- 46:08Speaker 10: No, I don't know what that means, but damn, I
- 46:10Speaker 10: hope I never see the devil again.
- 46:11Speaker 25: Yeah, and he told me, and her brother was not
- 46:14Speaker 25: a good person. He did some pretty bad things, kind
- 46:16Speaker 25: of like gangster-like, you know, back in the days in
- 46:18Speaker 25: my hometown.
- 46:19Speaker 3: But it's like, oh, my goodness.
- 46:23Speaker 1: That gave me chills. That's insane.
- 46:25Speaker 10: Oh, that's crazy.
- 46:27Speaker 25: All right.
- 46:28Speaker 1: Thanks for calling. That, yeah, seeing religious stuff kind of
- 46:35Speaker 1: is really, really creepy. All right, 8-4-2-5-4, 70s ghost stories.
- 46:40Speaker 1: Let me get to this.
- 46:41Speaker 22: Let's see.
- 46:41Speaker 1: It says, Rome, I'm almost 60 years old. When I
- 46:44Speaker 1: was six years old, I was sleeping in the bed
- 46:47Speaker 1: with my great-grandmother. I woke up in the middle of
- 46:48Speaker 1: the night because I heard her talking. And at the
- 46:51Speaker 1: foot of the bed, there was a figure that was
- 46:54Speaker 1: obviously not a regular person. She patted me on the
- 46:59Speaker 1: back and told me to go back to sleep as
- 47:02Speaker 1: if she was okay with it. Um, let's see. Next
- 47:08Speaker 1: morning I was sitting at the table, not saying nothing,
- 47:11Speaker 1: just staring at her without, uh, anything being said. She
- 47:15Speaker 1: looked at me and said, Oh, don't worry about it.
- 47:18Speaker 1: They come and talk to me all the time from,
- 47:22Speaker 1: from that point on. I have had, I've, I have
- 47:26Speaker 1: had contacts with spirits and we never, uh, and was
- 47:31Speaker 1: never spooky or anything like that. They were very normal
- 47:35Speaker 1: to have around in the home. She lived to be
- 47:37Speaker 1: 106 years old and taught me a lot about the
- 47:40Speaker 1: spirit world. The veil is very thin between our world
- 47:46Speaker 1: and theirs. That gift to communicate with spirits has been
- 47:50Speaker 1: passed down to my daughter that's also starting to see
- 47:54Speaker 1: them around the same age. Oh, my gosh.
- 47:59Speaker 10: You know, they do say that children....
- 48:04Speaker 1: We'll see are more susceptible to the spirit world that
- 48:11Speaker 1: all children are. It's just as we grow, we block
- 48:15Speaker 1: it out. As we become adults, we think it's nonsense.
- 48:18Speaker 1: As we become adults, we think it's, you know, not real.
- 48:24Speaker 1: So we block it out and we lose the ability
- 48:26Speaker 1: to see the spirit world. At least that's what they say.
- 48:30Speaker 1: All righty, four, two, five, four, seven to seven. But,
- 48:36Speaker 1: I mean, that's another thing, man. A lot of you
- 48:38Speaker 1: believe in it. You see it.
- 48:39Speaker 10: Your grandma obviously did and didn't have a problem with it.
- 48:43Speaker 1: That's crazy.
- 48:44Speaker 10: These ghost stories, man.
- 48:45Speaker 1: People are getting chills from these stories. Good morning, Romeo. Okay,
- 48:50Speaker 1: so there was this one time back in the day,
- 48:52Speaker 1: a group of friends were out drinking at the backside
- 48:56Speaker 1: of Hart Park. We're only there for like 30 minutes
- 48:59Speaker 1: because we seen this white ghost figure cross the river.
- 49:04Speaker 1: Just standing there. A friend of mine seen it first,
- 49:08Speaker 1: then double-checked with me and triple-checked with someone else, and
- 49:12Speaker 1: we all seen the same thing. It was creepy. We
- 49:16Speaker 1: just packed up and left. Okay, you sure it wasn't alcohol?
- 49:21Speaker 1: You sure you didn't have too much? You weren't drinking
- 49:22Speaker 1: at Boone's Farms? That Boone's Farms will make you see
- 49:25Speaker 1: some silly things. And as we were leaving, keep in
- 49:29Speaker 1: mind it was clear night, two in the morning, but
- 49:32Speaker 1: at some point the road, it got super foggy where
- 49:36Speaker 1: we couldn't see.
- 49:38Speaker 10: Then it just cleared up.
- 49:39Speaker 1: Um, wow.
- 49:41Speaker 10: Yeah, that's, uh, that is creepy.
- 49:43Speaker 1: Already four, two, five, four, seven, seven.
- 49:46Speaker 21: Hey, Rome.
- 49:46Speaker 1: One time I was showering and we had one of
- 49:49Speaker 1: those showers with a clear glass door. Well turned around
- 49:52Speaker 1: and there was this lady in a white dress, long
- 49:55Speaker 1: curly black hair, clear as day. My husband was in
- 49:59Speaker 1: the next room. I tried screaming and nothing would come
- 50:02Speaker 1: out after about a minute. She was out and I
- 50:06Speaker 1: could finally yell out. So I yell, I yell, right?
- 50:10Speaker 1: And my husband thinks I'm tripping. Hell no. Now every
- 50:14Speaker 1: time I shower, I'm freaking paranoid as you know what. Yeah,
- 50:18Speaker 1: I mean, that's creepy. That is very creepy.
- 50:23Speaker 17: Hey, good morning, Romeo.
- 50:24Speaker 21: Hey, what's up?
- 50:25Speaker 8: Oh, my goodness.
- 50:26Speaker 6: When I used to work in the hospital, there would
- 50:30Speaker 6: be stories of what people would say they saw on
- 50:32Speaker 6: other floors, but my floor.
- 50:35Speaker 23: Was the floor where, like, you get all kinds of patients.
- 50:38Speaker 6: It was med search, you know, and if you didn't
- 50:41Speaker 6: like the patient, you send them there.
- 50:42Speaker 23: If they were too much, you send them there. And
- 50:45Speaker 23: I remember working one day in Clear Estate. Well, I
- 50:48Speaker 23: worked the night shift, but it was early in the
- 50:50Speaker 23: night shift. It wasn't like, you know, it wasn't my
- 50:52Speaker 23: third day. It was my first day back. And as
- 50:55Speaker 23: we're moving this patient from a double room, like I'm
- 50:57Speaker 23: trying to say like, excuse me, you know, because there
- 51:00Speaker 23: was this guy like soldier with like boots and everything. And,
- 51:03Speaker 23: you know, I'm trying to be respectful of him and everything.
- 51:05Speaker 23: I'm trying to move his meemaw. And as soon as
- 51:10Speaker 23: we get her out, I told my friend, I'm like, oh,
- 51:11Speaker 23: my God, he's so rude.
- 51:13Speaker 3: And she's like, who?
- 51:14Speaker 23: I'm like, the guy right there. Like, I know you're,
- 51:16Speaker 23: you know, you're still uniform and everything. And I know this,
- 51:18Speaker 23: you're meanwhile. But you see us trying to, you know,
- 51:21Speaker 23: go ahead and take her to labs and everything. She's like,
- 51:24Speaker 23: who are you talking about?
- 51:24Speaker 17: I'm like, the guy.
- 51:25Speaker 11: Didn't you see him?
- 51:25Speaker 23: Like, I was trying to tell him, excuse me. She's like, B,
- 51:29Speaker 23: there's no one there. I'm like, shut up. I'm like,
- 51:31Speaker 23: shut up. I've seen him. I can describe everything, even
- 51:34Speaker 23: the tattoo that he had on his arm.
- 51:36Speaker 21: Really?
- 51:37Speaker 23: Yeah, so our friend that works in security went over
- 51:40Speaker 23: the tape and he saw me talking to someone, you know,
- 51:46Speaker 23: like when you're like, you know, like backwards, like saying like,
- 51:48Speaker 23: excuse me, but he said there was no one there.
- 51:51Speaker 10: On the tape?
- 51:53Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 51:54Speaker 10: Wow, that is insane. That's like a movie.
- 51:57Speaker 8: That's crazy.
- 51:59Speaker 21: Right?
- 51:59Speaker 23: Well, I mean, it is a hospital, so you expect
- 52:01Speaker 23: this kind of stuff. But it's just crazy, though, because
- 52:04Speaker 23: then after that one, I seen another person in my
- 52:08Speaker 23: double room. And that was another Meemaw. And I had
- 52:12Speaker 23: closed the curtain because it's a two-bedroom. And so I'm
- 52:16Speaker 23: getting situated. Again, it's my first night back. Not my
- 52:20Speaker 23: third night. First 12-hour night shift. And we're in the
- 52:24Speaker 23: first couple of hours in there.
- 52:26Speaker 2: That's wild.
- 52:27Speaker 23: I'm about to change this other Meemaw. And I see
- 52:32Speaker 23: some shoes there, and I'm like, oh, okay, I see
- 52:34Speaker 23: feet at the end of the bed.
- 52:35Speaker 2: Okay.
- 52:36Speaker 3: And now, get you, Meemaw can't move.
- 52:39Speaker 21: All right?
- 52:40Speaker 23: She's in the bed. She's bed-bound.
- 52:42Speaker 19: Okay.
- 52:42Speaker 23: So I'm like, oh, excuse me, sir, because they look
- 52:44Speaker 23: like men's shoes.
- 52:46Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 52:46Speaker 23: I'm like, excuse me, sir, I'll be right back. I'm
- 52:49Speaker 23: just going to go get some extra clothes and dressings.
- 52:53Speaker 23: We're going to go ahead and clean up, you know,
- 52:56Speaker 23: and then I say, you know, your person, but I
- 52:58Speaker 23: say meemaw right now. And he's like, and they just
- 53:01Speaker 23: stay still. I'm like, okay, you know, I'm used to
- 53:04Speaker 23: people not like talking to me, you know, but I'm
- 53:06Speaker 23: always respectful. So I come back and Literally just step
- 53:10Speaker 23: out the room because the closet's right there, and I
- 53:12Speaker 23: step back inside. There's no one there. And I'm running, panicking,
- 53:17Speaker 23: quietly because it's at night, and my other patient's there,
- 53:19Speaker 23: and they're not bed-bound. So I'm, like, looking everywhere trying
- 53:22Speaker 23: to see where the hell this guy went, you know,
- 53:24Speaker 23: if he's doing something or molesting or, you know, doing
- 53:26Speaker 23: something to my other patient. No, there was no one there.
- 53:31Speaker 6: That's wild There was Like literally me Like I'm the
- 53:35Speaker 6: bouncer Of the room Literally said One foot out Because
- 53:38Speaker 6: I forgot Something in the room And I'm looking everywhere And.
- 53:42Speaker 23: I'm checking the charge I check the bathroom Yes it's
- 53:45Speaker 23: one of our Largest rooms But there's no way He
- 53:46Speaker 23: can hide anywhere Morning how's it going on Good morning
- 53:49Speaker 23: Romeo Hey what's.
- 53:50Speaker 9: Up I haven't exactly seen a ghost, but I know
- 53:54Speaker 9: for a fact that I've seen like orbs or certain
- 53:59Speaker 9: spirits because my husband of 15 years, I went through
- 54:03Speaker 9: passed away.
- 54:04Speaker 16: It's been about.
- 54:04Speaker 9: 14 years since he passed away and he still likes
- 54:08Speaker 9: to open kitchen cabinets in my kitchen.
- 54:12Speaker 1: How do you know it's your husband that's doing it?
- 54:15Speaker 9: Oh, because it's usually certain times of year, like certain dates. Like,
- 54:19Speaker 9: when it happens, it'll make me kind of think, like,
- 54:21Speaker 9: what is today? And it could be a birthday, one
- 54:24Speaker 9: of our kids' birthdays or whatever.
- 54:25Speaker 21: Sure.
- 54:27Speaker 9: He likes to open the cabinet doors, like, you know,
- 54:30Speaker 9: to catch my attention.
- 54:31Speaker 17: He'll be like, are my tripping?
- 54:32Speaker 2: Is that door open?
- 54:33Speaker 8: It'll open and it'll close.
- 54:36Speaker 3: Things like that.
- 54:37Speaker 22: But then the other funny thing is, is that my
- 54:40Speaker 22: kids have reported, I have four of them, that was
- 54:44Speaker 22: their dad, that sometimes, there's been a couple instances of
- 54:48Speaker 22: them doing stuff they have no business doing, and he'll
- 54:51Speaker 22: trip their butt.
- 54:53Speaker 2: Really?
- 54:54Speaker 16: They said they're just walking.
- 54:55Speaker 9: And just the feet will just fall right off from
- 54:57Speaker 9: under them like somebody swept their feet out from under them.
- 55:00Speaker 9: And they're like, now I knew I shouldn't have.
- 55:02Speaker 3: Been doing this. And they're like, uh-huh.
- 55:04Speaker 16: And I said, yeah, that's why your daddy knocked you
- 55:06Speaker 16: on your butt.
- 55:07Speaker 10: Well, now I got to ask you the next question.
- 55:11Speaker 1: Do you have a new man?
- 55:13Speaker 7: No.
- 55:14Speaker 9: No.
- 55:18Speaker 20: No.
- 55:18Speaker 27: I'm not even going to try it.
- 55:20Speaker 15: No.
- 55:21Speaker 10: I mean, don't bring it.
- 55:23Speaker 16: There is a funny story with that. I got all
- 55:26Speaker 16: dressed up one time. I literally have the video to
- 55:29Speaker 16: go out and I was getting ready to hit a
- 55:33Speaker 16: cigarette and And when I hit the lighter, the lights flickered.
- 55:39Speaker 16: And I was like, that's weird. So I hit the lighter.
- 55:41Speaker 9: Again, and the lights go out.
- 55:43Speaker 16: And then as soon as I let the lighter.
- 55:44Speaker 9: Go, the lights come on. And I was like, I
- 55:47Speaker 9: know I'm not tripping.
- 55:48Speaker 16: So I grabbed the phone, and I did it like
- 55:50Speaker 16: a couple more times. And every time it would flick
- 55:52Speaker 16: the lighter, I'd say, you know what?
- 55:54Speaker 3: I'm just going to go ahead and stay home. Damn!
- 55:58Speaker 16: I told my mother-in-law about it, and she says, well,
- 56:01Speaker 16: why you didn't go on the date? I said, are
- 56:03Speaker 16: you crazy? Like, are you crazy? All this stuff was
- 56:09Speaker 16: just happening on me trying to get ready.
- 56:12Speaker 3: Like, I'm not even going to chance what he was
- 56:15Speaker 3: going to do on the date.
- 56:16Speaker 10: That's hilarious. Oh, my God, that's wild.
- 56:21Speaker 16: Yeah, so I definitely believe in, like, spirits and stuff.
- 56:24Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, you can't deny what's been happening in
- 56:27Speaker 1: your house. That's wild, man.
- 56:30Speaker 10: Well, man, your man lets you move on with your life.
- 56:34Speaker 16: Hey, I'm cool with it, and, you know, I don't
- 56:37Speaker 16: have nobody else, but it's mostly with the kids. It's like, okay,
- 56:40Speaker 16: you know, I think about you miss me, I miss you, too.
- 56:44Speaker 10: Thanks for calling.
- 56:46Speaker 1: That's awesome. All right. Have a good one. Oh, my God.
- 56:50Speaker 10: Wow.
- 56:50Speaker 1: You know how they always say, you know, a husband
- 56:52Speaker 1: will tell a wife or a wife will tell a husband.
- 56:54Speaker 10: I'm going to always haunt you. I'm going to haunt
- 56:56Speaker 10: you if anything happens.
- 56:56Speaker 1: I guess there we go. It actually happens.
