- 0:08Speaker 1: Advice. Shoo, it's time, hell Lemon.
- 0:15Speaker 2: Welcome to the naught even nice shamy hairs. Rob Shooter,
- 0:19Speaker 2: I forgot my name one of.
- 0:22Speaker 3: Those weeks already.
- 0:25Speaker 2: My name is Rob Shooter. I was gonna say my
- 0:27Speaker 2: name is Rob Monday, which is actually rather nice name.
- 0:30Speaker 2: But my name it is Rob Shooter. And it's Friday.
- 0:33Speaker 1: It's not even Monday. Go figure. My mind is a
- 0:36Speaker 1: very odd thing.
- 0:37Speaker 2: Joining us every Friday is our dear friend Corey Andrew.
- 0:40Speaker 2: I got that right, Hey, Corey, are you there?
- 0:42Speaker 3: Hello everyone? Hello, Rab Monday, Darling.
- 0:45Speaker 1: Oh, my mind is puddled.
- 0:47Speaker 2: You know, even on a good week, on a week
- 0:49Speaker 2: that I don't have a lot to do, a quiet week,
- 0:52Speaker 2: my mind is a little off. But on these weeks
- 0:54Speaker 2: sometimes when it's so busy with royal news and all
- 0:57Speaker 2: the other stuff. But it's lovely to have a Friday.
- 0:59Speaker 2: It's lovely to get to Friday. And I could not
- 1:03Speaker 2: enjoy being on a Friday with anyone more than you,
- 1:06Speaker 2: Corey and the Noughtiest. So let's jump into the other show.
- 1:09Speaker 2: What time is it? My Friends and tea time big
- 1:12Speaker 2: story at the top of the show. So Jimmy Kimmel's
- 1:14Speaker 2: Allies Jennifer Aniston and Howard Stern have turned their back
- 1:19Speaker 2: on ABC, So Hollywood is closing ranks around Jimmy, and
- 1:22Speaker 2: insiders are telling me that his celebrity friends are planning
- 1:26Speaker 2: to distance themselves from his former network. He's really really
- 1:30Speaker 2: close with jen Anderston Aniston. He's also very very close
- 1:35Speaker 2: with Howard Stern. Lots of people now are loyal in
- 1:38Speaker 2: his inner circle and they see this as a test case.
- 1:42Speaker 2: If ABC can muscle Jimmy, they can muscle anybody, and
- 1:46Speaker 2: Jennifer and Howard don't want to be part of this.
- 1:50Speaker 1: Already, I'm told.
- 1:51Speaker 2: That the suspension of Jimmy's show has sent shockwaves through Hollywood.
- 1:55Speaker 2: Now publicists are really thinking do they want their clients
- 1:58Speaker 2: on ABC, ABCO, Good Morning America, The View, which might
- 2:02Speaker 2: be in trouble, and also to Live with Kelly and Mark.
- 2:05Speaker 2: Those are three massive, massive shows, and so now everybody
- 2:11Speaker 2: is reconsidering this. I don't want to get into the
- 2:13Speaker 2: politics of this, because we are not a political show.
- 2:15Speaker 1: But what I do want to.
- 2:16Speaker 2: Get into is the friendship of this. If my friend,
- 2:19Speaker 2: mister if Corey got yanked from a channel, would I
- 2:24Speaker 2: stand behind them? And I think the answer is Yes.
- 2:27Speaker 2: I defend my friends, I really really do, particularly if
- 2:31Speaker 2: I think they're in the right. But even if I
- 2:33Speaker 2: sometimes think they're in the wrong, I might say to
- 2:35Speaker 2: them privately, I don't think you did that quite right. However,
- 2:38Speaker 2: I still love you and I will support you. This
- 2:40Speaker 2: is about friendship here. This is not about politics. This
- 2:44Speaker 2: is about friendship. What do you think, Corey, should they
- 2:46Speaker 2: stand up for their friend Jimmy Well?
- 2:49Speaker 3: I think if they were up and coming artists and
- 2:51Speaker 3: a were really risking their livelihood, I can understand why
- 2:54Speaker 3: or how that might be tricky. However, considering the wealth
- 2:58Speaker 3: of Jennifer Anniston and Howard Stern, they are the truth
- 3:02Speaker 3: to power if you will, that has the means to
- 3:05Speaker 3: stand up to something like this, if they believe it
- 3:08Speaker 3: without having to risk their lively. So I think closed.
- 3:12Speaker 3: So I think people who are at that level, if
- 3:14Speaker 3: they believe in something, yes, stand up because you can.
- 3:16Speaker 3: You can afford to lose a paycheck if it happens.
- 3:18Speaker 1: That is so smart.
- 3:19Speaker 2: I never thought about that, Corey. At my stage in
- 3:23Speaker 2: my career, I can walk away from stuff. I don't
- 3:25Speaker 2: need to do everything. I'm very, very grateful for twenty
- 3:29Speaker 2: thirty years. Though I paid my dues, I did stuff
- 3:31Speaker 2: that I didn't really want to do, but I sort
- 3:34Speaker 2: of hat to for the money and getting that next
- 3:36Speaker 2: step ahead. But when you were Jennifer, when you were Howard,
- 3:40Speaker 2: you really don't have to do anything. Jennifer never ever
- 3:43Speaker 2: needs to work against She certainly doesn't need to do
- 3:45Speaker 2: another interview. And if you don't want to do one network,
- 3:49Speaker 2: there are so many other places now, including social media.
- 3:52Speaker 2: Somebody is because Jen she's going to get more people
- 3:54Speaker 2: watch her on her TikTok or I don't think she's
- 3:57Speaker 2: on TikTok, but I know she's on Instagram, social media,
- 4:00Speaker 2: going to get more people watching them there in any case,
- 4:02Speaker 2: So yes, it is interesting, isn't it?
- 4:04Speaker 1: When when are you brave?
- 4:06Speaker 2: When are you? When are you a coward? I struggle
- 4:09Speaker 2: with this. I try not to go on TV shows
- 4:13Speaker 2: that that alarm basically, not just that I don't agree with,
- 4:18Speaker 2: but the views on certain shows, the views on certain tiktoks.
- 4:22Speaker 2: I was recently invited onto a monster podcast. It's not
- 4:26Speaker 2: Joe Rogan, but it was a really big podcast. But
- 4:29Speaker 2: I listened to it and it was really mean and aggressive.
- 4:32Speaker 2: I'm not even going to mention the name of it
- 4:34Speaker 2: or the politics of it. Just the vibe of it
- 4:36Speaker 2: was full of hate. The vibe was not a fun
- 4:39Speaker 2: thing that it was very masculine, very helper, and I passed.
- 4:43Speaker 2: And you know, it probably could have got us more
- 4:45Speaker 2: listeners to this show. It probably could have got me
- 4:48Speaker 2: more subscribers to my substack, but I said no, thank you.
- 4:52Speaker 2: And I have this challenge with with my career all
- 4:54Speaker 2: the time. I'm sure you do too. You know, ten
- 4:57Speaker 2: years ago, when I was really starting out in this genre,
- 5:00Speaker 2: Perez Hilton was the king of it. But I wasn't
- 5:03Speaker 2: willing to call people names or your sex objects, sex
- 5:08Speaker 2: sex toys on the face like.
- 5:09Speaker 1: I mean, he did some really wed.
- 5:13Speaker 2: Then, and we've moved on and I think we've forgiven him,
- 5:15Speaker 2: I think, but I'm just not willing to do that. Corey,
- 5:19Speaker 2: how far are you willing to go? We know that
- 5:21Speaker 2: that you're so good at this. We also know too
- 5:24Speaker 2: that you have an amazing side hustle as a singer,
- 5:27Speaker 2: as a performer. How far would you go to get
- 5:30Speaker 2: that number one record?
- 5:31Speaker 3: You know, you know you raise a great point too.
- 5:34Speaker 3: You know, it's about your own personal decision about can
- 5:38Speaker 3: you look at yourself in the morning or in the
- 5:40Speaker 3: mirror and say, you know what I stood on my
- 5:42Speaker 3: morals and and and I don't care about the money.
- 5:46Speaker 3: If you can say that, and I can say that, like,
- 5:49Speaker 3: there's certain gigs and performances I would not do if
- 5:52Speaker 3: I did not agree with the organization. Let's say that
- 5:55Speaker 3: wanted to hire me, because I have to maintain integrity
- 5:58Speaker 3: in my art. But I understand artists who do it.
- 6:02Speaker 3: So I don't really want to pass judgment. But you know,
- 6:04Speaker 3: let's just say there's certain inaugurations I wouldn't perform at,
- 6:08Speaker 3: but I understand if other people do because they need
- 6:11Speaker 3: it financially. So I think it's tricky. You know, it's tricky,
- 6:14Speaker 3: isn't it.
- 6:14Speaker 2: And if you have a ton of money, it's easy
- 6:16Speaker 2: to make the decision. I laugh when people are like, oh,
- 6:18Speaker 2: they made a really good decision. I said, they never
- 6:20Speaker 2: had a bad decision to make. Every decision was every
- 6:23Speaker 2: option was a good option. I didn't have that growing up.
- 6:26Speaker 2: All my options were pretty bad. Note of them were
- 6:29Speaker 2: that good options. So my choices couldn't be great choices
- 6:32Speaker 2: because my options were not great options.
- 6:35Speaker 3: Right, Everything was better than that.
- 6:36Speaker 2: Everything was not great here, and so I do have
- 6:40Speaker 2: a lot of empathy, a lot of understanding for people
- 6:44Speaker 2: who have to make these decisions. I understand what it's
- 6:47Speaker 2: like to not be able to afford your rings. I'm
- 6:50Speaker 2: very grateful, I'm very blessed. I'm in a position where
- 6:53Speaker 2: I can say no, Jennifer Anderston and Howard Stern, they
- 6:58Speaker 2: can say no. But you're right up and coming artists,
- 7:01Speaker 2: artists that have a new album out, people that need
- 7:04Speaker 2: to get on the View and Good Morning America and
- 7:06Speaker 2: Kelly Ripper?
- 7:08Speaker 3: What will they do?
- 7:08Speaker 2: I think maybe what a better question is here, and
- 7:11Speaker 2: I pose this rhetorically. I'm not looking for an answer,
- 7:14Speaker 2: is what does Kelly Ripper do? What do people on
- 7:16Speaker 2: the shows do? What do people on the the View do?
- 7:20Speaker 2: What does what does Good Morning America Robin Roberts? What
- 7:23Speaker 2: does she think about this? George Stephanopolis, he is already
- 7:27Speaker 2: work was sued fifteen million dollars for something that he said.
- 7:31Speaker 2: How does George feel about this? It is scary times,
- 7:34Speaker 2: my friends. Once again, we are an entertainment podcast, so
- 7:37Speaker 2: we are really just touching the surface of this and
- 7:40Speaker 2: hopefully doing it in a way where we can talk
- 7:42Speaker 2: about friendships and decisions we make in life rather than
- 7:45Speaker 2: anything too political. But this does bring us to our
- 7:48Speaker 2: pole question of the day. Jimmy Kimmel's allies Jennifer and
- 7:53Speaker 2: Stern and Howard Stern have turned their back on ABC.
- 7:58Speaker 2: Should celebrities boycott networks that they don't believe him? Would
- 8:04Speaker 2: you turn up on a network that was just against
- 8:06Speaker 2: your values, against who you are? Who did stuff that
- 8:09Speaker 2: you didn't agree with, but it was gonna help your career.
- 8:12Speaker 2: It's going to sell your movie, he's gonna sell your
- 8:15Speaker 2: radio show, it's gonna sell your podcast. What do you think?
- 8:17Speaker 2: A tough decision? There? Hey, go vote on our Twitter
- 8:20Speaker 2: page at Naughty and Ice Rob. Our facebook page is
- 8:23Speaker 2: Naughty Gossip. I'm sure to check back on Monday to
- 8:27Speaker 2: hear your results. And now, ooh, it's time for hour.
- 8:31Speaker 2: It's not time for hour. I'm all over the place.
- 8:34Speaker 2: Now it's time for another delicious item? What are you
- 8:38Speaker 2: working on?
- 8:39Speaker 1: Yes?
- 8:39Speaker 3: I call this the beauty battle, honey, The beauty Battle
- 8:43Speaker 3: of the Kardashians is what I call this one. So
- 8:46Speaker 3: all right, So Kim Kardashian, she's officially she's shutting skin.
- 8:50Speaker 3: That's her brand. You know her underwear undergarment brand, and
- 8:55Speaker 3: she's quietly plotting the twenty twenty six debut of Skim's Beauty.
- 9:00Speaker 3: So insiders are telling hashtag shooter Scoop that the move
- 9:03Speaker 3: could spark a billion dollar beauty war with her little
- 9:06Speaker 3: sister Kylie Jenner, because Kylie built an empire off of
- 9:10Speaker 3: lip kits. You remember that whole little it was like,
- 9:13Speaker 3: it was like a little tiny lipstick thing that expanded
- 9:16Speaker 3: to over fifteen thousand lipsticks, and then she turned that
- 9:18Speaker 3: into a billion dollar brand seemingly overnight. But I will
- 9:22Speaker 3: say that's the brilliance of mom Chris Jenner. Let's just
- 9:25Speaker 3: give her, give the props, because she give the props.
- 9:28Speaker 3: He's an amazing marketing woman that she's a machine. But anyway,
- 9:31Speaker 3: Kim's about to come for that crown. She is going
- 9:33Speaker 3: to try to snatch that crown from Kylie because now
- 9:36Speaker 3: she herself is going to launch a cosmetics brand as well,
- 9:40Speaker 3: and she's going to not just have lipstick, She's gonna
- 9:42Speaker 3: have everything from you know, shapewear and beauty all under
- 9:45Speaker 3: one unstoppable brand. But let's not forget now, Kylie Cosmetics
- 9:49Speaker 3: was once valued at one point two billion dollars when
- 9:52Speaker 3: the big global cosmetics giant named Cody that we all
- 9:55Speaker 3: know it's like a global, a global brand, they scooped
- 9:59Speaker 3: up fifty one percent of Kylie Cosmetics back in twenty
- 10:02Speaker 3: nineteen for over half a billion dollars half half yes,
- 10:06Speaker 3: half a billion dollars. It was six hundred million, was
- 10:09Speaker 3: the amount. And it made that brand a household name,
- 10:12Speaker 3: being sold in Alta and Macy's and Norse strums. And
- 10:15Speaker 3: so you know now that Kim's going to come for
- 10:18Speaker 3: the beauty brand. There's some inside so we're of saying
- 10:20Speaker 3: that Kylie is now going to try to rebuy control
- 10:23Speaker 3: from Cody Wow, so she can kind of get back
- 10:25Speaker 3: in the beauty game and now compete with her sister
- 10:28Speaker 3: Kim as Kim expands her global brand to cosmetics. So
- 10:31Speaker 3: it is a battle of the beauty titans here in
- 10:34Speaker 3: the Kardashian plan. And I don't know, do you think
- 10:37Speaker 3: that you think that Kim will steal the thunder from Kylie.
- 10:40Speaker 2: Rod I would never ever underestimate Kim Kardashian. It's still
- 10:44Speaker 2: so easy to make fun of the Kardashians. I don't jealous.
- 10:48Speaker 2: We're a bit angry with their success. They are successful. Yeah,
- 10:51Speaker 2: like Kylie did turn a little lip blass into a
- 10:55Speaker 2: billion dollar brandy. Now what I think is interesting here,
- 10:59Speaker 2: and we make this mistake in our own lives, is
- 11:01Speaker 2: we think we're all in competition with everybody and really not.
- 11:05Speaker 2: There are enough people to buy lipsticks that both of
- 11:08Speaker 2: these brands can exist. Really, do we need another lip gloss? No,
- 11:12Speaker 2: but if you create one, I'm thinking of you, Kylie Jenna.
- 11:17Speaker 2: I'm thinking of Hailey Baldwin of a beauty brand, and
- 11:21Speaker 2: she's really close with Kylie. There are enough people out there. Look,
- 11:25Speaker 2: how many beauty lines do you already have? Este Lord
- 11:28Speaker 2: a Mad Bobby brand? We have so many of them.
- 11:32Speaker 2: I do think the market will absorb another brand. I
- 11:35Speaker 2: think Kim will be really good at this. And at
- 11:37Speaker 2: the end of the day, yes, having having Kim as
- 11:40Speaker 2: your creator, your owner, your spokesperson is very very helpful
- 11:43Speaker 2: because she has hundreds of millions of dollars to spend
- 11:47Speaker 2: and also too, she has hundreds of millions of followers
- 11:50Speaker 2: on social media. I think that ultimately the product is
- 11:55Speaker 2: going to have to be great. I don't use Kylie jennas,
- 11:58Speaker 2: I don't use that much makeup when I'm not on TV.
- 12:00Speaker 2: I'm not a lot when I'm on TV. I've not
- 12:04Speaker 2: tried Kylie's brand, but my my girlfriends and even some
- 12:07Speaker 2: of my my my male friends do. They tell me
- 12:09Speaker 2: it's terrific. They said the product is really good. They
- 12:13Speaker 2: said if it wasn't good, it wouldn't be worth a
- 12:14Speaker 2: billion dollars. A lot of wives try.
- 12:16Speaker 1: To do this.
- 12:17Speaker 2: They slapped their names on.
- 12:18Speaker 1: Stuff and the product's awful.
- 12:20Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah, if you've ever tasted one of those Real
- 12:24Speaker 2: housewife my goodness said to myself, what member when Ramoter
- 12:32Speaker 2: had that wine collection? Oh, she sent me a bottle
- 12:34Speaker 2: of that wine. I couldn't drink.
- 12:38Speaker 3: I didn't even know she had a wine collection. That's crazy.
- 12:41Speaker 1: Yeah, I wouldn't.
- 12:42Speaker 2: Spent out for a drink of coffee with the beauty critic.
- 12:46Speaker 2: Can't believe it's no not the beauty critic. Yes, yes,
- 12:48Speaker 2: the the critic at the New York Times, the fragrance
- 12:54Speaker 2: critics critic. And he just smelled fragrances all time, had.
- 12:58Speaker 1: A good shower.
- 12:58Speaker 2: Before I saw him, I thought he'll be stiffing at me,
- 13:02Speaker 2: sniffing away at me, And so I asked him, what
- 13:05Speaker 2: is actually a really great celebrity fragrance because there's so
- 13:08Speaker 2: many of them, and he said, most of them are dreadful.
- 13:11Speaker 2: They're just vinegar with a name on the bottle. Of
- 13:14Speaker 2: this he said, Sarah Jessica Parkers is great. He said,
- 13:17Speaker 2: it's a really great fragrance, and that's why it is
- 13:20Speaker 2: so successful. At the end of the day, content really
- 13:23Speaker 2: does count. Part of the reason this podcast has become
- 13:26Speaker 2: so successful, Thank you Naughty. Is not only that Corey
- 13:30Speaker 2: and I are charming.
- 13:32Speaker 1: And witty and very handsome. It's the content.
- 13:35Speaker 2: You come to us because we have great content. Other
- 13:39Speaker 2: entertainment reporters tell me they can't wait for us to
- 13:42Speaker 2: post this show at nine am so I can steal
- 13:45Speaker 2: all my content. I said, how rude. I'm glad you're listening,
- 13:49Speaker 2: but how rude. I often find things that we say
- 13:51Speaker 2: on this show as the day goes on, it trickles
- 13:54Speaker 2: out into the entertainment columns and websites out There never
- 13:58Speaker 2: any credit, but that's it. But I love that it
- 14:02Speaker 2: is a bad content. So if the lipsticks the beauty
- 14:04Speaker 2: line is great, it will be just fine.
- 14:06Speaker 1: Okay.
- 14:06Speaker 2: Moving along, Melissa and Teresa from the Real Housewives, their
- 14:10Speaker 2: future hands by a thread. So they're rebooting The Jersey Housewives.
- 14:15Speaker 2: Nobody's been called jets and Melissa has not been invited back.
- 14:18Speaker 2: Teresa has not been invited back. However, they have been
- 14:20Speaker 2: told they're either going to take both of them on
- 14:22Speaker 2: either of them, and the only way they're going to
- 14:24Speaker 2: take both of them is the two of them promised
- 14:27Speaker 2: to work together. They hate each other so much they
- 14:29Speaker 2: won't even be in the same room. And they're like,
- 14:31Speaker 2: we're paying you a lot of money, ladies, you gotta
- 14:33Speaker 2: sit down. This is a storyline. Put that to one side.
- 14:36Speaker 2: You can hate each other in real life. It is acting,
- 14:39Speaker 2: and really these reality shows are get it together. You
- 14:42Speaker 2: both got They earn a massive amount of money, not
- 14:45Speaker 2: quite as much as everybody thinks, but it's about three
- 14:47Speaker 2: four hundred thousand dollars.
- 14:48Speaker 3: That's a lot of money.
- 14:50Speaker 2: To do what six seven, eight, nine weeks off were
- 14:53Speaker 2: They're both going to blow it. They're both If you're
- 14:55Speaker 2: listening and they do listen to the show, Lava Lab,
- 14:57Speaker 2: just suck it up.
- 14:59Speaker 1: Act.
- 15:00Speaker 3: What do you think, Corey, Well, it's kind of funny.
- 15:01Speaker 3: It's almost like what we just talked about, I mean,
- 15:03Speaker 3: in a different way about your values, like what do
- 15:06Speaker 3: you want to do and if you can afford to
- 15:08Speaker 3: say no. I mean, you know, a lot of these shows,
- 15:10Speaker 3: as you and I have discussed in the past, they
- 15:14Speaker 3: seemingly aren't good for your your energy, your spirit, right
- 15:18Speaker 3: they are. They promote bad behavior, They're very negative and
- 15:22Speaker 3: in fact, there's a bit of a pushback right now
- 15:23Speaker 3: because the world's so divisive. Do people really want to
- 15:26Speaker 3: see another episode of Teresa flipping a table in a restaurant?
- 15:29Speaker 3: Like I think we have enough of it, right and
- 15:31Speaker 3: maybe they need to repair their own brands, possibly by
- 15:35Speaker 3: staying away. So if you are listening, Teresa, I would say,
- 15:38Speaker 3: and Melissa, maybe reinvent yourself. You've got the fame and notoriety.
- 15:41Speaker 3: Maybe reinvent yourself in a different light that's more positive,
- 15:44Speaker 3: and don't do the show.
- 15:46Speaker 1: Oh you're so nice.
- 15:47Speaker 2: I love it.
- 15:49Speaker 1: Nice. I'm the Norse. You're nice.
- 15:50Speaker 2: Okay, We're gonna take a quick break and we will
- 15:53Speaker 2: be right back. Welcome back to the naught even nice
- 15:56Speaker 2: and rob shooting like your friend Cory Andrew. Hey, Corey,
- 15:59Speaker 2: let's get to the Yesterday, we broke the news that
- 16:03Speaker 2: jay Z and Beyonce are livid that their casino was defeated.
- 16:06Speaker 2: They wanted to put a casino in Times Square. Times
- 16:08Speaker 2: Square said thanks for Novolk, and now now they're threatening
- 16:12Speaker 2: to leave New York City altogether. Does New York City
- 16:15Speaker 2: need jay Z more than jay Z needs New York City.
- 16:19Speaker 1: Let's have a look.
- 16:21Speaker 2: No, the answer is no, So only twenty percent think
- 16:25Speaker 2: New York City needs. It's lovely to have him, but
- 16:28Speaker 2: you know what, New York survived for hundreds of years.
- 16:32Speaker 1: Without Jay and Beyonce before they arrived.
- 16:34Speaker 2: It will survive for hundreds, hopefully thousands of years with Adam.
- 16:38Speaker 2: It's lovely having Jay and Beyonce in New York. But
- 16:42Speaker 2: we're gonna be okay. We lost Liza Manelli. If we
- 16:45Speaker 2: can survive.
- 16:45Speaker 1: Losing lies, we can survive here.
- 16:48Speaker 2: I don't forget to vote under Day's probably lost Barbara
- 16:52Speaker 2: Streison too. I still think of her as a New Yorker.
- 16:54Speaker 2: Don't you in La now, Melibu? Yeah, they're in Hollywood. Oh,
- 16:59Speaker 2: I think it's that Middler's still here. Hey, Bete, Betete,
- 17:03Speaker 2: don't forget to vote on Today's Paul. Go to a
- 17:06Speaker 2: Twitter page at Naughtey nice romp Facebook page to check
- 17:10Speaker 2: back a Monday to hear your results are not. Oh
- 17:14Speaker 2: it's time for Nicest of the Day.
- 17:17Speaker 3: Yes, yes, So it's exclusive another Taylor Swift story. And
- 17:21Speaker 3: you know who doesn't love one of those, because they're always, always,
- 17:23Speaker 3: always popular. So Taylor Swift has a she's a new
- 17:27Speaker 3: serious XM channel, and it's collected to outdraw Howard Stern.
- 17:31Speaker 3: So it's like a battle for the serious XEM crown,
- 17:34Speaker 3: just like the Kardashian battle for the Beauty Crown. And
- 17:37Speaker 3: Insider's tail hashtag shooter scoop that Taylor Swift may soon
- 17:41Speaker 3: dethrone Howard Stern as the satellite giant's biggest attraction. I
- 17:45Speaker 3: think she will. But you know it's interesting about this
- 17:47Speaker 3: so well, to begin with, she's got a Channel thirteen
- 17:50Speaker 3: launching this this Saturday, just thirteen before the release of
- 17:54Speaker 3: her new album, The Life of a Showgirl, which has
- 17:56Speaker 3: already taken over all the headlines as a big anticipated album.
- 17:59Speaker 3: So she's got the momentum behind her to launch this
- 18:02Speaker 3: new serious channel, of course, and Howard Stern has been
- 18:04Speaker 3: the king of the radio for a while and the
- 18:07Speaker 3: king of serious XM as well. When he really at
- 18:10Speaker 3: his peak was demanding like commanding like twenty million listeners
- 18:13Speaker 3: at one at one time, but now his numbers have
- 18:15Speaker 3: dwindled in some markets to under one hundred and fifty
- 18:18Speaker 3: thousand listeners. Really really, yeah, that's for us, that would
- 18:21Speaker 3: be like we've been getting like Emmy awards with those numbers,
- 18:24Speaker 3: but for him it's down, you know. So they say that,
- 18:27Speaker 3: you know, Taylor may become the focus of the network,
- 18:30Speaker 3: of the of the of the entertainment giant serious excent,
- 18:34Speaker 3: and they may put all their money and resources behind her.
- 18:36Speaker 1: But I will say it's gonna be huge.
- 18:37Speaker 3: There's two things though. One is that just one thing.
- 18:40Speaker 3: They're different genres. I don't know if this's a fair competition.
- 18:42Speaker 3: That's interesting. You know, she's gonna have a music pop
- 18:45Speaker 3: culture of based kind of existence there, and Howard Stern
- 18:48Speaker 3: is still talk radio. So I don't know if it's
- 18:50Speaker 3: a fair comparison.
- 18:50Speaker 2: Yeah, they're not going to compete against each other. But
- 18:52Speaker 2: Taylor's gonna win on total numbers. Yeah, they just got
- 18:54Speaker 2: a different audience. But Taylor's numbers are extraordinary. I can
- 18:57Speaker 2: not wait. And now I know she's your resources. Tell
- 19:01Speaker 2: me that Alec Baldwin has become a nightmare in the ballroom.
- 19:03Speaker 1: So Halari, Hillary.
- 19:06Speaker 2: Has debuted on Answering with the Star. She was pretty good, Actually,
- 19:09Speaker 2: I was really impressed. However, her husband is a bossy
- 19:12Speaker 2: boots and bossing people around.
- 19:14Speaker 1: Back off, Alex.
- 19:16Speaker 2: This is HILARI. Let's end with her moment. Some chapters
- 19:23Speaker 2: aren't meant to be fixed, They're just meant to be closed.
- 19:26Speaker 2: So not every part of your journey your story needs
- 19:28Speaker 2: a resolution. Not every ending comes with neat answers and
- 19:32Speaker 2: a perfect bow. In fact, some chapters aren't broken, they're
- 19:37Speaker 2: just finished. And the hardest thing to accept is that
- 19:42Speaker 2: closure doesn't always mean repair.
- 19:44Speaker 3: That's hard, I love.
- 19:46Speaker 2: Sometimes closure simply means deciding to stop rereading the same
- 19:51Speaker 2: page over and over again. Letting go is not failure,
- 19:56Speaker 2: it's wisdom. Naughties, give yourself, give your self permission to
- 20:02Speaker 2: stop trying to fix what isn't meant to be saved.
- 20:08Speaker 1: That's deep today.
- 20:09Speaker 2: Hey, thank you so much for listening to the Naughty
- 20:11Speaker 2: but Nice with Broban Corey Show, a production of iHeartRadio.
- 20:13Speaker 2: Don't forget to subscribe on the iHeart Radio app podcast. Listen,
- 20:17Speaker 2: leave us a review if you can, and remember altogether.
