- 1:13Speaker 1: and two. The parlay hit as well. The bet the
- 1:15Speaker 1: Boys parlay hit as well. Like We're fucking back, we
- 1:18Speaker 1: had a bad college, bad collegiate collegiate Day on Saturday.
- 1:23Speaker 2: We will probably not talk about that part.
- 1:25Speaker 1: But before we get into this whole episode, this episode
- 1:28Speaker 1: is brought to you by the Chevy Silverado. It's still
- 1:32Speaker 1: early in the season and every team is still in
- 1:34Speaker 1: the hunt. And I mean ever, make sure to bleed
- 1:37Speaker 1: that out. Make sure to bleed that out. And every
- 1:39Speaker 1: team is still in the hunt. You might have started
- 1:41Speaker 1: off oing three and you might think your season is dead.
- 1:44Speaker 1: However that's not the case. It's still very early in
- 1:46Speaker 1: the year. Your team can go on an absolute terror
- 1:49Speaker 1: and h and ended up turning it around in an instant.
- 1:52Speaker 1: It's the NFL any given Sunday Boys. But the team
- 1:56Speaker 1: that has already won it all is the Chevy Silverado.
- 2:00Speaker 1: According to JD Power, the Chevy is the most awarded
- 2:03Speaker 1: brand for new vehicle quality and Chevy trucks have won
- 2:05Speaker 1: more new Vehicle Quality awards than any other brand. Champions
- 2:10Speaker 1: don't stop, they keep moving forward. They don't settle, they
- 2:12Speaker 1: don't listen to the outside noise of all the success
- 2:14Speaker 1: that they have had and rattled off week in and
- 2:16Speaker 1: week out. The Silverado brings everything with this unstoppable grit
- 2:21Speaker 1: and determination. Head over to Chevy dot com to learn
- 2:24Speaker 1: more about the Chevy Silverado, or go to your just

- 2:42Speaker 1: already been established for those guys who love the data
- 2:47Speaker 1: and love the trust the data. For JD Power twenty
- 2:50Speaker 1: twenty U twenty twenty two US award information, visit jdpower
- 2:54Speaker 1: dot com Forward Slash Awards. Now let's get into it.
- 2:58Speaker 1: Where should we start? Should we start as scoot Ober?
- 3:00Speaker 1: Should we let people understand like What'spootober? Or should we
- 3:04Speaker 1: take a moment for the fallen soldier?
- 3:08Speaker 2: So you guys are probably.
- 3:09Speaker 1: Wondering why the boy h Taylor is not here to
- 3:11Speaker 1: co host. He uh, we lost him early in the
- 3:16Speaker 1: game last Monday night. Monday Night in Buffalo. Somebody shot
- 3:20Speaker 1: him from up in the nosebleeds. He dropped I think
- 3:23Speaker 1: on first or second play the game, and he just
- 3:26Speaker 1: got told the information a couple of days ago that
- 3:29Speaker 1: his season is over.
- 3:30Speaker 2: So the boy is headed to I R.
- 3:32Speaker 1: But if you're watching right now, I think what we
- 3:33Speaker 1: should do is we should act like he's like dead.
- 3:35Speaker 2: We should we.
- 3:36Speaker 1: Should make it seem like he died like Taylor died
- 3:39Speaker 1: on the field, he died on the grid iron. Because
- 3:41Speaker 1: everybody's making I think there's some stuff going around Taylor
- 3:43Speaker 1: appreciation posts.
- 3:45Speaker 2: All that stuff is coming, is coming on the timeline.
- 3:47Speaker 4: Now.
- 3:47Speaker 1: I think we should just pretend that we lost him, Like, so,
- 3:50Speaker 1: let's are.
- 3:51Speaker 3: We gonna put Taylor in the clouds with Rambe?
- 3:53Speaker 1: Maybe we should? I think we should Yah, yeah, yeah.
- 3:56Speaker 1: If you're watching right now, comment ri I P Taylor? Want,
- 3:59Speaker 1: Are I pee the boy?
- 4:01Speaker 2: Any of it?
- 4:01Speaker 1: We're just gonna act like we've we've lost him in battle.
- 4:04Speaker 1: But with that said, like, let's take a moment of silence.
- 4:07Speaker 1: Tary lawan all time left tackle for the Tennessee Titans,
- 4:11Speaker 1: no longer with us.
- 4:22Speaker 2: Thanks boys, Taylor, We love you brother. See you next week.
- 4:29Speaker 5: Uh.
- 4:29Speaker 1: But that sucks, man, Like the boys battled the last
- 4:32Speaker 1: few years and just I've watched it the whole him
- 4:36Speaker 1: trying to g b O T get back on track.
- 4:39Speaker 1: After the first ACL, tear my man gets popped for
- 4:42Speaker 1: the PD thing, battles through that, coming back the next year,
- 4:48Speaker 1: Tear's is a cl midway through the year, was having
- 4:50Speaker 1: was having a good year. There's is a CL and
- 4:53Speaker 1: that's what started the whole fucking up and down roller
- 4:57Speaker 1: coaster rider coming back because it's tough, Like you look
- 4:59Speaker 1: at Green Bay, like toris ACL the same year later
- 5:02Speaker 1: in the year. David didn't play it all last year
- 5:05Speaker 1: and he's been getting slowly put back in this year,
- 5:07Speaker 1: so essentially like two years to bounce back from an ACL,
- 5:11Speaker 1: and it's just brutal, man. I see the work that
- 5:14Speaker 1: this dude puts in every off season or has put
- 5:16Speaker 1: in every off season.
- 5:17Speaker 2: Just get back on track.
- 5:18Speaker 1: Like, mentally, that is a fucking grind to come back
- 5:20Speaker 1: from a major surgery, especially when you feel the pressure
- 5:23Speaker 1: in the stresses of being like the highest paid offensive
- 5:26Speaker 1: lineman when he signed that deal, Like there's a lot
- 5:28Speaker 1: of expectation of pressure that comes with that, and you
- 5:31Speaker 1: can think of it as like, I mean, you're paid,
- 5:32Speaker 1: it's all good, Like you're gonna be all that's true,
- 5:34Speaker 1: but the human element, all of us, like you end
- 5:36Speaker 1: up you end up subconsciously putting that pressure on yourself
- 5:39Speaker 1: because you want, you love and appreciate a fan base
- 5:42Speaker 1: in a city that drafted you and bet on you
- 5:45Speaker 1: a second time for a five year deal, and you
- 5:47Speaker 1: feel like you don't want to let those people down. Yes,
- 5:49Speaker 1: you're taking care of forever, but like you hate like letting,
- 5:52Speaker 1: Like football is the most selfish spport in the world,
- 5:55Speaker 1: and when you feel like you can't be out there,
- 5:56Speaker 1: you feel like you're disappointing your teammate, your coaches, the
- 5:59Speaker 1: people that believe in you, your family like the fans,
- 6:01Speaker 1: and everything else, especially when you know you're doing everything
- 6:04Speaker 1: necessary every off season. My man, the food, like everything,
- 6:09Speaker 1: the pts, Like he's done so much shit to try
- 6:13Speaker 1: and bounce back, and for him to like be put
- 6:16Speaker 1: on on ir again for the same knee, it's just
- 6:19Speaker 1: got to be such a tough blow mentally because again,
- 6:22Speaker 1: like you have some of the games last year where
- 6:24Speaker 1: you come out or you get rolled up on or
- 6:25Speaker 1: you're limping, or you have the swelling Hipri extended his
- 6:28Speaker 1: knee in the Seattle game during fucking warm ups last
- 6:30Speaker 1: year and can't play, And I would assume like as
- 6:33Speaker 1: a player you think of like you get labeled as
- 6:35Speaker 1: an injury guy, Like that fucking sucks because then when
- 6:38Speaker 1: you're labeled that, like you feel like you have to
- 6:40Speaker 1: over explain yourself for being injured because you're just so like,
- 6:44Speaker 1: I mean, you want nothing more than they go out
- 6:45Speaker 1: there and play and play at a high level. And
- 6:47Speaker 1: then when you get taken out and it's to the
- 6:48Speaker 1: knee and there's not like hope on coming back, it's
- 6:52Speaker 1: just like it sucks because it's been like three years
- 6:54Speaker 1: of that for the boy.
- 6:55Speaker 6: Well beginning of the season two, when the Titans release Current,
- 6:58Speaker 6: he became the longest tenure Titan. Yeah, so that just
- 7:02Speaker 6: adds on top of what you're saying, like you don't
- 7:04Speaker 6: want to let anyone down.
- 7:05Speaker 3: It's like Taylor to One has been here, he's he's
- 7:09Speaker 3: he was.
- 7:09Speaker 1: Like the only guy in the roster who has seen
- 7:10Speaker 1: a losing season in Tennessee because they've turned it around
- 7:13Speaker 1: the way they have since Rabels came on board. And
- 7:16Speaker 1: it just sucks, dude, Like it's it's uh, it's brutal,
- 7:22Speaker 1: like that's just that fucking sucks, and like you know,
- 7:24Speaker 1: I am on the business side of it. Like again,
- 7:26Speaker 1: you you just you play all those games because you
- 7:28Speaker 1: want to be in the two Tone balloon like two
- 7:30Speaker 1: Tone Blue your entire career, and uh, yeah, you play
- 7:34Speaker 1: so many different situations in your head and it just sucks.
- 7:36Speaker 2: It just sucks your primetime. You're ready to fucking block
- 7:38Speaker 2: von Miller.
- 7:39Speaker 1: I mean fuck, I wouldn't want to block von Miller,
- 7:42Speaker 1: but uh, and then to go out, I just fucking
- 7:45Speaker 1: for what was it second play the game, first play,
- 7:47Speaker 1: second play?
- 7:48Speaker 3: It was in the first drive.
- 7:49Speaker 2: I would know that, Yeah, I just I man, it
- 7:53Speaker 2: fucking sucks.
- 7:54Speaker 1: And to think like, oh, I'm about I got a
- 7:56Speaker 1: clip back again like Thomas Davis towards ACL like three
- 7:59Speaker 1: times and still a mask like a Pro Bowl and
- 8:01Speaker 1: shit like that. But just the the mental like fortitude
- 8:05Speaker 1: and shit, you need to have to like again, be like, fuck,
- 8:08Speaker 1: it's about to be another grueling fucking year to about, Yeah,
- 8:11Speaker 1: another battle to bounce back on. It sucks, man, But
- 8:15Speaker 1: the boy will be back with us next week. You'll
- 8:18Speaker 1: probably be be hearing from him. Soon, but obviously, given
- 8:21Speaker 1: that he just heard his uh news a couple of
- 8:23Speaker 1: days ago, he wanted to take a week in all
- 8:26Speaker 1: respects to the boy. Remember, if you're in the comments
- 8:28Speaker 1: right now, we're gonna, we're gonna he's dead like we
- 8:30Speaker 1: lost him, but uh just just.
- 8:36Speaker 2: Like like he's gone.
- 8:37Speaker 1: Yeah, speaking of dead, fucking Spootober is upon us. And
- 8:41Speaker 1: for everybody knew that's sitting in that doesn't necessarily know
- 8:44Speaker 1: what Spootober is. Spootober is the entire month of October.
- 8:47Speaker 1: Like holiday season starts with Spootober, you get in a
- 8:53Speaker 1: full month of Spootober. Then you got Thanksgiving and to
- 8:57Speaker 1: look forward to. Then you got Christmas to look forward to.
- 8:59Speaker 1: Holliday's seasons like here, and nothing gets you in the
- 9:02Speaker 1: nothing gets you in the season like Spootober, like October
- 9:06Speaker 1: coming up like Halloween. The Goos, the Goblins, the Killers,
- 9:08Speaker 1: the Slashers, Mike Myers, Jason forhe'es all the boys. So
- 9:12Speaker 1: here is how you participate in Spooktober rule number one.
- 9:17Speaker 1: Refer to October as Spooktober. Rule number two. You watch
- 9:22Speaker 1: a spook a day. What I mean by that it
- 9:24Speaker 1: can be a scary movie. It can be like a
- 9:26Speaker 1: Halloween holiday theme movie. It could be like Charlie Brown,
- 9:28Speaker 1: it could be a cartoon. It doesn't matter. As long
- 9:30Speaker 1: as you're in the spirit of Spootober. You gotta run
- 9:33Speaker 1: a spook a day. Maybe you got kids at home
- 9:35Speaker 1: and they need to You want to throw something on
- 9:37Speaker 1: it and get them in the spook, get them in
- 9:38Speaker 1: the vibes. But all you gotta do Rule number two,
- 9:40Speaker 1: watch a spook a day. We will be dropping a
- 9:43Speaker 1: movie that we watch every day. Engage with us, talk
- 9:45Speaker 1: to us. We love that shit. We'll be sharing it
- 9:47Speaker 1: because again, we are all embracing the spook together, which
- 9:50Speaker 1: leads me to rule number three. A Halloween themed event
- 9:54Speaker 1: every weekend. Whether you go to a pumpkin patch, a
- 9:57Speaker 1: haunted house, you know what else? Boys out of what
- 10:02Speaker 1: is it? The haunted cornfield? Yeah, haunted cornfields? A punkin patch. Again,
- 10:08Speaker 1: you go to another bump up, different pumpkin patch. There
- 10:10Speaker 1: you o bossy, We said pumpkin patch the first one,
- 10:12Speaker 1: But that's okay.
- 10:13Speaker 2: You can double up our bumpkin patches.
- 10:15Speaker 1: You go apple picking, something that just gets you out there,
- 10:17Speaker 1: drinks some cider like partake. Maybe you have a little
- 10:19Speaker 1: fire and you guys are embracing the spook somehow every weekend,
- 10:22Speaker 1: figure out a way to embrace the spook. And rule
- 10:24Speaker 1: number four, which I've said it with the last two rules,
- 10:27Speaker 1: is embrace the spook.
- 10:29Speaker 2: One way you can do.
- 10:30Speaker 1: That outside of all those rules is we also have merchandise.
- 10:33Speaker 1: What you see me wearing a Spootober dad had. We
- 10:35Speaker 1: just added that to the toolbox. We got Spootober team
- 10:38Speaker 1: shirts out there, uh store DP barstool sports dot com.
- 10:42Speaker 1: For slash Bust with the boys, you will see our
- 10:44Speaker 1: Spootober merch. Buy a piece of merch. We got cool shirts,
- 10:47Speaker 1: cool shirts and a hat. And that's pretty much it, right,
- 10:49Speaker 1: two shirts and a hat. Embrace the fucking spook, a
- 10:52Speaker 1: spook a day Halloween themed event each weekend, and refer
- 10:55Speaker 1: to October as Spootober.
- 10:56Speaker 2: That's it. It's simple. We literally literally just embrace the
- 10:59Speaker 2: spooking every day. Oh you gotta do.
- 11:01Speaker 1: If you feel like you're in doubt, go check us out,
- 11:03Speaker 1: Go see whatever we're posting about on Twitter, and just
- 11:06Speaker 1: piggyback that all the boys are watching this tonight.
- 11:07Speaker 2: Let's watch this, sweetheart.
- 11:09Speaker 6: Maybe maybe take a video of you scaring people around
- 11:11Speaker 6: town and tag.
- 11:12Speaker 2: Us ooh, bro, I love goods scaring.
- 11:15Speaker 1: Like when I was at HQ a week or two ago,
- 11:18Speaker 1: whenever that was, we would go around to like we
- 11:21Speaker 1: were doing something for she wanted a promo for like
- 11:23Speaker 1: our shirts, our spoot Over shirts, and we would have
- 11:26Speaker 1: somebody like she would say, hey, I need help with
- 11:28Speaker 1: getting something off the top shelf in the closet, and
- 11:30Speaker 1: I would be hidden in the closet behind boxes and
- 11:32Speaker 1: people would come in and I'll just jump out and
- 11:34Speaker 1: scare the shit out of the mill. It's fucking awesome.
- 11:36Speaker 1: Or like you're walking down the hall and like somebody
- 11:37Speaker 1: you don't even know, You're just kind of walking normal,
- 11:39Speaker 1: and then you just you scream at them and then
- 11:41Speaker 1: they just fucking freak out. But yeah, scare people take
- 11:44Speaker 1: videos of it too. That spooks over though. I think
- 11:48Speaker 1: we're all fired up. Are you guys pretty excited about
- 11:50Speaker 1: spoot Over? Absolutely decorate your house. That's the way you
- 11:53Speaker 1: can embrace the spook theme up your house. I was
- 11:55Speaker 1: at Tailor's like the way that they're running that thing,
- 11:57Speaker 1: they should be selling tickets for their house because how
- 12:00Speaker 1: spooky it is at their house.
- 12:01Speaker 2: I'm not shooting you.
- 12:02Speaker 1: It's like think Think the Grizzwold, the Grizzwold family decorating
- 12:07Speaker 1: for Christmas.
- 12:08Speaker 2: It's this, but I'm Spootober.
- 12:09Speaker 1: It's it's it's wild noise machine's going on the whole time,
- 12:12Speaker 1: Like there's smoke going on twenty four to seven, all
- 12:14Speaker 1: night around.
- 12:15Speaker 3: And he's got two kids.
- 12:16Speaker 1: Yeah, and they embrace the spook bro Like little Winny.
- 12:18Speaker 1: She's all about Spootober. She's all about being spooky and
- 12:21Speaker 1: spiders and witches and everything else. She's literally at the
- 12:23Speaker 1: game like she had a mask on, like showing me
- 12:25Speaker 1: her witch mask. She's already she's a week ahead, so
- 12:28Speaker 1: she needs to slow it down. But October one, Spootober,
- 12:31Speaker 1: it starts this Saturday. I could be more excited about it.
- 12:33Speaker 1: Let's get into the uh. The Tennessee trip. We had
- 12:38Speaker 1: an awesome trip and Knocksville over the weekend. Shout out
- 12:40Speaker 1: to everybody who came and said what's up? The barsol
- 12:42Speaker 1: Coss football so was fucking electric. We picked the dog
- 12:44Speaker 1: of the week. Casey cuked me. I don't know if
- 12:46Speaker 1: you guys saw that, but Casey like cucked me my
- 12:49Speaker 1: dog of the week. It's shown in production notes that
- 12:51Speaker 1: I was choosing Smoky the Dog. She goes first and
- 12:54Speaker 1: literally like just shouts out.
- 12:57Speaker 2: Smoky the Dog the whole time.
- 12:58Speaker 1: So I had to like pivot shout out that that dog.
- 13:02Speaker 1: Hndon Hooker, who's a stud I think their entire offense basically,
- 13:06Speaker 1: I'm not disrespecting that with that one receiver eighty eighty four,
- 13:09Speaker 1: eighty five had a hell of a catch in the
- 13:12Speaker 1: first half.
- 13:12Speaker 2: It was fucking awesome.
- 13:13Speaker 1: But Hookers, they stud bro the volunteers, they look they
- 13:16Speaker 1: look like they're number eight in the polls right now.
- 13:18Speaker 2: Who are they coming up on? Who they got this
- 13:20Speaker 2: next week or in a couple of weeks.
- 13:21Speaker 6: They have a buy this coming weekend, and then they
- 13:24Speaker 6: follow up with LSU and then the Crimson Tide and
- 13:30Speaker 6: then yeah, Georgia, Kentucky are somewhere in that.
- 13:33Speaker 2: Yeah, and of course the North Carolina you know, respects
- 13:35Speaker 2: to South Carolina. But that's I'll tell you what.
- 13:38Speaker 1: You're sitting there at number eight in the country, undefeated
- 13:40Speaker 1: right now, like riding high like this is the this.
- 13:43Speaker 2: Is the thick of it. You want to be in
- 13:45Speaker 2: Like when you want to buy, Yeah, you want to buy.
- 13:47Speaker 1: You want to start rating the guys up whoever's insured,
- 13:49Speaker 1: you want to get it back to full health because yeah,
- 13:50Speaker 1: LSU Bama, and Georgia shortly after that South Carolina. No
- 13:53Speaker 1: disrespect to the boys, but yeah, that's the spot you
- 13:57Speaker 1: want to be in. We'll figure out if they're like
- 13:58Speaker 1: the real deal. I'm fucking I'm loving the Orange. We
- 14:01Speaker 1: visited this weekend. Shut Out. Miss Dandie Plowman, the chancellor
- 14:06Speaker 1: of Tennessee. She was a Nebraska She was the head
- 14:09Speaker 1: of the Nebraska Business School when I was at Nebraska.
- 14:13Speaker 2: Your boy took business because businessman.
- 14:17Speaker 1: And literally we had followed each other back when I
- 14:20Speaker 1: was in college, and so we've we've been following each
- 14:22Speaker 1: other on Twitter for like over a decade. And when
- 14:24Speaker 1: she was a chancellor at Tennessee and we did our
- 14:26Speaker 1: spring tour this year or we went, we took the
- 14:28Speaker 1: bus out last year. She was like, hey, next year, like,
- 14:30Speaker 1: don't forget that, you know, don't forget that. Like I'm
- 14:33Speaker 1: sitting in the Chancellor's seat here. Whatever you guys need,
- 14:35Speaker 1: I'll get you. Guys taken care of. Hit her up
- 14:37Speaker 1: this year, dude, she was it was all time. I
- 14:39Speaker 1: felt like the customer service was like we were at Nebraska. Obviously,
- 14:43Speaker 1: the relationships aren't as close as like the equipment room,
- 14:45Speaker 1: the football team and everything else. Eckler, Yes, coach Hypee
- 14:48Speaker 1: remembers us saw baseball coach's name. Yeah, Tony v Bro
- 14:53Speaker 1: got to see him and it was awesome. He was
- 14:55Speaker 1: at the Barceol College football show too. But dude, just
- 14:58Speaker 1: see she was like she literally we were up there
- 15:01Speaker 1: and she goes, well, I want you to look at
- 15:02Speaker 1: Tennessee as your second college. Say less, Tennessee Falls, they
- 15:08Speaker 1: are my second team. The Brasca's on a bye week,
- 15:10Speaker 1: so I got the root for the Big Ones all
- 15:11Speaker 1: the time. And you kind of need a little bit
- 15:13Speaker 1: of hope going into the rest of this year. I
- 15:15Speaker 1: don't want everybody in Tennessee to start getting scared because
- 15:18Speaker 1: I am now on boarding with the Falls and everybody
- 15:22Speaker 1: thinks like I'm a curse.
- 15:23Speaker 2: Just fine, they corrack the top ten, will hopped in.
- 15:27Speaker 2: It's just right.
- 15:28Speaker 1: I'll say this. The games I've been at were undefeated.
- 15:33Speaker 1: We're busting's taken where we've taken, busting that. We were undefeated.
- 15:37Speaker 1: We won in Nebraska. Oh this we won in Tennessee.
- 15:40Speaker 1: You're saying this year, Yeah, Oka.
- 15:41Speaker 2: This year. This year, this year, don't bring in last year? Yeah,
- 15:46Speaker 2: this year true. Kind of like the Raiders Titans game,
- 15:52Speaker 2: I felt like I couldn't lose.
- 15:53Speaker 1: I was repping the Raiders colors for sure, and I
- 15:56Speaker 1: was taking some heat on that. We interrupt this episode

- 17:02Speaker 1: shout out everybody at Bojanngles. I love the boat bo
- 17:04Speaker 1: Jingles Fried Chicken, getting it in our lives. We were
- 17:07Speaker 1: set up well at the endoor facility to do our
- 17:09Speaker 1: interview with PFT that you guys are gonna hear in
- 17:10Speaker 1: a little bit. But yeah, we got the roll red
- 17:14Speaker 1: carpet rollout for us. Saw the Raiders GM Dave Ziggler
- 17:16Speaker 1: on the sideline. We're talking about year ten with him.
- 17:19Speaker 1: He saw me out, Hey, will you know I'm Dave Zigler,
- 17:21Speaker 1: I'm the you know, I'm the GM of the Raiders.
- 17:23Speaker 1: I was like, yo, you were Taylor's guidance counselor in
- 17:25Speaker 1: high school and he starts laughing. We started, yeah, bro,
- 17:28Speaker 1: he was the guidance counselor in high school. He was
- 17:29Speaker 1: Taylor's guidance counselor. Yes, at his high school, and now
- 17:33Speaker 1: he's the GM of the Raiders. We start laughing and stuff,
- 17:35Speaker 1: and so of course, of course I started bantering with
- 17:37Speaker 1: him about year ten, like hey, what are we doing?
- 17:40Speaker 1: And I go, you know, do we need to get
- 17:41Speaker 1: a you want me to get a workout in?
- 17:42Speaker 2: Right here?
- 17:43Speaker 1: I started hitting punts. That's right from like, you know,
- 17:45Speaker 1: somebody need to get out a camera. You can send
- 17:46Speaker 1: it to your scouts, like we can let the chips
- 17:48Speaker 1: fall where they may. Did go four and one on
- 17:51Speaker 1: your guys' team last year. I don't know if you
- 17:52Speaker 1: remember that, but we were having some good last got
- 17:55Speaker 1: to know him a little bit, but it was awesome.
- 17:57Speaker 7: Man.
- 17:58Speaker 1: We got the pregame sideline passes, the the the atmosphere
- 18:00Speaker 1: in Tennessee is electric, Like I know, it's not. It's
- 18:03Speaker 1: not that way for every game. It's not that way
- 18:05Speaker 1: for every game. It's the big games that come to town.
- 18:07Speaker 1: You would love to see some consistency with the Tennessee balls.
- 18:10Speaker 1: It's like Nebraska, we can be zero to ten, we're
- 18:13Speaker 1: gonna sell out the game or We're still gonna be
- 18:14Speaker 1: loud for the first quarter anyway, Tennessee, like we went
- 18:17Speaker 1: to Ole Miss and now Florida and like it's deafening noise. Bro, Mitch,
- 18:22Speaker 1: I know you said Penn State, but as I've played
- 18:23Speaker 1: in Penn State, I still think Tennessee's the loudest experience
- 18:27Speaker 1: I've had. Not only but Tennessee's built straight up, whereas
- 18:37Speaker 1: Penn State is a little bit more, It's got a
- 18:39Speaker 1: little bit more outer, it's more bolt.
- 18:43Speaker 2: That's a good point, A good point. Yeah, yeah, Mitch.
- 18:50Speaker 2: By the way, Mitch, Mitch Carlsley, I'm just kidding. I
- 18:54Speaker 2: know I was butcher and that on purpose. I already
- 18:55Speaker 2: did it for the blog.
- 18:56Speaker 1: But we got a new a shot a hey shot
- 18:58Speaker 1: out Mitch his first pot, his first.
- 19:01Speaker 2: Pod that he's been on. But Mitch is joining our team.
- 19:04Speaker 1: We we uh, we got him from the NASCAR in
- 19:07Speaker 1: NASCAR background. We saw him from NASCAR a little bit,
- 19:10Speaker 1: offered him a little bit of money, tried getting him
- 19:11Speaker 1: out of there.
- 19:12Speaker 2: Ye, I don't know, am I allowed to say that?
- 19:14Speaker 1: Like nobody's gonna take that the wrong way over in Nascar?
- 19:16Speaker 1: Are they herebyes for the boys on NASCAR. Yeah, yeah,
- 19:19Speaker 1: for sure. Yeah, but we're happy to have Mitch. Anyway,
- 19:21Speaker 1: that's Mitch talking. He thinks Penn State's louder than Tennessee.
- 19:24Speaker 7: I think Penn State's definitely loud of Tennessee.
- 19:26Speaker 2: I'm not don't say definitely, like don't double down.
- 19:29Speaker 4: I mean, but I being I've been to two Penn
- 19:32Speaker 4: State whiteouts. The atmosphere is unreal. I would say Tennessee
- 19:36Speaker 4: the checker like with the stands and everything that was
- 19:38Speaker 4: that was dope as well.
- 19:39Speaker 7: But I think I got a ride with pen You're.
- 19:42Speaker 1: Just saying I was playing at the wrong game on
- 19:43Speaker 1: Penn State. Yeah, it was the week of the Sandusky.
- 19:47Speaker 7: Well, I mean that has everything to do with it then.
- 19:49Speaker 1: Yeah, dude, it was the week of the Jerry Sandusky case.
- 19:53Speaker 1: They thought about canceling our game because people were flipping stuff,
- 19:56Speaker 1: things were getting caught on fire. There was like riots
- 19:58Speaker 1: going on trying to take him down. But that was
- 20:00Speaker 1: the week of Sandusky. It was weirdly eerie in the
- 20:02Speaker 1: in the theme of Spootober Jesus. But like we went
- 20:05Speaker 1: and stayed at a motel that shared a parking lot
- 20:07Speaker 1: with his uh whatever charity. It was that building, shared
- 20:12Speaker 1: the parking lot, our motel, motel, walking outside outdoors motel. Dude,
- 20:16Speaker 1: it was a spooky setting that we can then you
- 20:19Speaker 1: like do a prayer before and everything else. So it's
- 20:21Speaker 1: kind of like a people coming together type of thing
- 20:23Speaker 1: because of all the ship that was going down with
- 20:25Speaker 1: him and all the things that were coming out. But
- 20:27Speaker 1: it was maybe that was like a just wasn't as
- 20:30Speaker 1: loud because.
- 20:31Speaker 7: The al sand one of their coaches just weird. Yeah,
- 20:36Speaker 7: like in the lightness.
- 20:37Speaker 2: Yeah, but Tennessee gets rowdy.
- 20:40Speaker 7: They definitely he gets bucked rowdy.
- 20:42Speaker 2: We love Tennessee. Tennessee loves the boys too. Like it was,
- 20:45Speaker 2: it was a good time. It was electric out there.
- 20:47Speaker 6: What do you got, Garrett, It'll be a good time
- 20:50Speaker 6: to drop that merch too.
- 20:52Speaker 1: Oh yeah yeah yeah, ang on, you show the camera
- 20:56Speaker 1: back on you guys, Bloss and Garrett.
- 20:58Speaker 2: That's a great pool. Gee.
- 20:59Speaker 1: So we got new colorways. I tweeted out last week
- 21:02Speaker 1: a sample with the samples came in for the hats
- 21:05Speaker 1: the boys, the diamond hats that you guys see, there's
- 21:07Speaker 1: there's like you know, Steelers slash Iowa Hawkeye fans. You
- 21:10Speaker 1: guys are gonna love those Blosses rocking, the Niner colors.
- 21:13Speaker 1: We have the Tennessee those those hats that you saw
- 21:16Speaker 1: me wearing at Knoxville, those hats. All that stuff is
- 21:19Speaker 1: dropping on this Thursday. All our new colorways, some new
- 21:22Speaker 1: merch were rolling out. We're getting into some other fan
- 21:24Speaker 1: bases that's rolling out this Thursday. Beurely on it, because
- 21:27Speaker 1: some stuff does sell out, like our two tone blue Titans.
- 21:30Speaker 1: The boys hats those are out. Those are getting made
- 21:32Speaker 1: right now. They're coming back. But just don't miss out
- 21:35Speaker 1: on that merchandise. If you guys are into the hats,
- 21:36Speaker 1: the boys hats, the boys tease, the lightning ones that
- 21:38Speaker 1: we got on, buy those up, dude, because all that
- 21:41Speaker 1: stuff's rolling out. Dude, which ones can we say? Which
- 21:43Speaker 1: ones are coming out? I mean we got Niners, we
- 21:45Speaker 1: got hawk eyes the Niners. We got the Commanders, Commanders
- 21:49Speaker 1: coming out, the Buffalo Bills.
- 21:51Speaker 2: Buffalo Bills, Bill's Mafia.
- 21:53Speaker 3: We have the Iowa Hawkeyes.
- 21:54Speaker 2: Yeah, Iowa Hawkeyes.
- 21:55Speaker 3: See volunteers and they see valls.
- 21:58Speaker 1: I think that's it right, Like we're trying to work
- 22:00Speaker 1: on maybe some chief stuff right right, that's a base.
- 22:03Speaker 2: I think we're going.
- 22:04Speaker 1: Yeah, Timpto Look, everybody knows I bleed silver and black,
- 22:07Speaker 1: A two tone blue, silver and black, red, big red
- 22:10Speaker 1: commander's colors.
- 22:12Speaker 2: Oh yeah, I bleed all of those colors at one time.
- 22:14Speaker 2: Oh yeah.
- 22:17Speaker 1: But yeah, all that stuff will be coming out. I'm
- 22:19Speaker 1: telling you a Thursday dry it's dropping on Thursday. Make
- 22:21Speaker 1: sure to pick that stuff up. Let's with that, like,
- 22:23Speaker 1: let's get into the NFL headlines coming out of the weekend. Boys,
- 22:26Speaker 1: I was I did go, uh whatever my record was
- 22:30Speaker 1: this weekend, I lost. Surprisingly, I did not think the Bills.
- 22:35Speaker 1: I shouldn't say that because I think coach McDaniel's is
- 22:37Speaker 1: a really good coach. I think he's an offensive genius.
- 22:39Speaker 1: It's been said by multiple people that he's a stud.
- 22:42Speaker 1: But I did think Bills were gonna take We're gonna
- 22:44Speaker 1: win that football game. I was surprising that they lost
- 22:46Speaker 1: because they've outscored their opponent seventy something like fifteen and
- 22:50Speaker 1: they ended up losing that game. And what a weird uh,
- 22:55Speaker 1: what a weird sequence of events with Tua he getting
- 22:58Speaker 1: like knocked out stumbling and then he's he's back on
- 23:00Speaker 1: the field.
- 23:01Speaker 2: Now they're going under investigation for that.
- 23:03Speaker 3: Yeah, what happens with.
- 23:04Speaker 2: That what is the protocol too, is this I don't know.
- 23:07Speaker 1: So the protocol is somebody who's like gotten cancussed and
- 23:10Speaker 1: not been a lot back in the game.
- 23:12Speaker 2: You like go through this iPad.
- 23:15Speaker 1: You have like the standard you do in the off
- 23:17Speaker 1: season where you like play these games, right, you do
- 23:20Speaker 1: all these like brain games, remembering letters, remembering words, remembering
- 23:24Speaker 1: number sequences, walking lines, like doing a lot of stuff
- 23:27Speaker 1: that's like on the iPad that you do that you
- 23:29Speaker 1: compete at, and you get a baseline of what your
- 23:32Speaker 1: times are like only and only like the iPad and
- 23:35Speaker 1: the training room, they know those the baseline and where
- 23:37Speaker 1: you are, like your reaction time, your focus, whatever, your
- 23:41Speaker 1: memory and all that shit is what it's memory is
- 23:43Speaker 1: what it is, what it is remembering. And so when
- 23:45Speaker 1: you get concussed, you go through like that same testing,
- 23:48Speaker 1: that same protocol you got to go inside.
- 23:50Speaker 2: You got to go through all these brain games and
- 23:51Speaker 2: everything else.
- 23:52Speaker 1: And I think they correlate it with your baseline that
- 23:54Speaker 1: you did in the off season. If you pass those
- 23:57Speaker 1: numbers with flying colors, you get like the same times,
- 23:59Speaker 1: you're good to go. They talk to you, you say, hey,
- 24:02Speaker 1: I'm good, like I can play and do this, and
- 24:03Speaker 1: that you are usually free to go back into the game. Now,
- 24:07Speaker 1: I think what everybody's getting pissed off about, like the
- 24:09Speaker 1: NFLPA and everything else, is you look at the footage
- 24:12Speaker 1: and it's like, even though the guy is saying that
- 24:14Speaker 1: and he passes all these tests, like there should be
- 24:17Speaker 1: an element of we're gonna look out for this player
- 24:20Speaker 1: just because even though all the data says he's good,
- 24:22Speaker 1: and he's saying he's good, we should take him out
- 24:24Speaker 1: of the game. That's what I'm assuming without knowing any
- 24:26Speaker 1: of the conversations going on on to a side and
- 24:30Speaker 1: the team side, like obviously the team you want your
- 24:33Speaker 1: quarterback out there. Let's say, let's just hypothetically say, and
- 24:38Speaker 1: this could be the case, like you were looking out
- 24:40Speaker 1: for your star quarterback, like you want what's best for them,
- 24:42Speaker 1: Like when might happened. It was in Denver and it
- 24:44Speaker 1: was our last game of the year. Yeah, it was
- 24:48Speaker 1: our last game of the year in twenty nineteen. There
- 24:51Speaker 1: was like a half a quarter left in the game,
- 24:53Speaker 1: and I did pass it fairly well, like I was
- 24:55Speaker 1: a little off, and they're like, bro, we're just gonna
- 24:58Speaker 1: keep you out. Like I mean, it's the end of
- 24:59Speaker 1: it's the the season. We're not going to the playoffs,
- 25:01Speaker 1: just the last game of the year. We're gonna keep
- 25:03Speaker 1: you out now. I would assume that there are still like, Tua,
- 25:06Speaker 1: are you sure, Like we probably shouldn't or we shouldn't
- 25:09Speaker 1: do this and that, and it's like, how are you feeling,
- 25:11Speaker 1: And maybe Tua is like saying, hey, I'm good, like
- 25:13Speaker 1: I'm fine, Like I know how that looked, but I'm fine.
- 25:15Speaker 1: I'm passing all these tests, YadA, YadA, YadA. They might
- 25:18Speaker 1: look at each other like fuck man. Ultimately like, hey,
- 25:21Speaker 1: it's your call. I'm just I'm doing hypotheticals right now
- 25:24Speaker 1: because I'm trying to be in the position of all right,
- 25:26Speaker 1: if you're Tua and you're really trying to play, like actually,
- 25:29Speaker 1: like dude, guys, I'm fucking fine trying to play, then
- 25:33Speaker 1: it's like, you know, you let him go out.
- 25:35Speaker 2: There, and I think where everybody's getting piss off.
- 25:36Speaker 1: It's like, even though he's saying that, and even though
- 25:38Speaker 1: he's passing all these baseline tests, you should know based
- 25:41Speaker 1: on what happened out there, that he should not go back.
- 25:43Speaker 2: On the football field.
- 25:45Speaker 1: Those are all the different scenarios that I'm assuming and
- 25:47Speaker 1: that's why I think like the NFLPA and everybody's gonna
- 25:49Speaker 1: get involved with that. So here's so here's Ian Rappaport.
- 25:53Speaker 1: Here's what he tweeted. When did he tweet this twenty
- 25:57Speaker 1: three hours ago? Okay, so I just said all of
- 25:59Speaker 1: that and I'm not I am not aware of the
- 26:01Speaker 1: see and Rappaport tweet his tweet my understanding of the
- 26:04Speaker 1: tua the tua situation. He tweaked his back in the
- 26:08Speaker 1: first quarter on a sneak and didn't miss time. After
- 26:12Speaker 1: the Matt Mulano hit, his back locked up, leading to
- 26:15Speaker 1: him wobbling into the locker room for a full concussion check.
- 26:19Speaker 2: Fully cleared, now on the field.
- 26:21Speaker 1: So again, if you're two in that situation and let's
- 26:25Speaker 1: just say he's fully like arguing to go back on
- 26:29Speaker 1: the field, they could be saying, hey, this is look
- 26:31Speaker 1: like that's my back locking up based on that sneak, right, Like,
- 26:34Speaker 1: this is why I kind of went down because it
- 26:36Speaker 1: pinched the boy. Listen, I didn't work out this morning.
- 26:38Speaker 1: I got tweaking my back a little bit. That shit
- 26:40Speaker 1: does happen. Your ten is in danger, but that like,
- 26:45Speaker 1: that's my it's kind of like I guess my take
- 26:47Speaker 1: as far as like if I'm fully two of the
- 26:49Speaker 1: player and I'm fully trying to play versus like I'm
- 26:52Speaker 1: gonna kind of like you know, it felt bad, like
- 26:55Speaker 1: only he knows, right, That's why it's it's him arguing
- 26:58Speaker 1: from his shoes if he wants to go back on
- 26:59Speaker 1: the field, if he fully cleared again. On the baseline,
- 27:02Speaker 1: it's like, it's a tough situation. I do see why
- 27:04Speaker 1: the NFLPA and people are trying to get involved because ultimately,
- 27:07Speaker 1: like we're trying to progress and grow from all this,
- 27:09Speaker 1: these brain injuries and everything else. You don't want to
- 27:11Speaker 1: see him go back out on the field, so like, hey,
- 27:13Speaker 1: you need to step in and protect him, even though
- 27:15Speaker 1: he's trying to fully sell that he's all right. So
- 27:18Speaker 1: like I, you know, I can kind of see every side.
- 27:20Speaker 1: The Raiders are oh and three. Listen. If anybody understands optimism,
- 27:26Speaker 1: it's me. I've been in these situations in the NFL
- 27:30Speaker 1: with my college football team currently with the Nebraska Cornhuskers.
- 27:35Speaker 1: The Raiders have life left, They got the they have
- 27:38Speaker 1: the ingredients. They just they came out flat against the
- 27:42Speaker 1: Titans and hats off to the number one, and I
- 27:44Speaker 1: don't want to.
- 27:45Speaker 2: I'm talking about the Raiders being oh and three right now.
- 27:48Speaker 1: I will get to the Titans out a fucking hell
- 27:51Speaker 1: of a game and they had they needed that win,
- 27:53Speaker 1: like they needed to bounce back and win.
- 27:55Speaker 2: But right now, I'm talking about the Raiders being oh
- 27:57Speaker 2: and three.
- 27:58Speaker 1: You come out flat, you kind of together a good
- 28:00Speaker 1: second half, but you have the ingredients to be a
- 28:03Speaker 1: good football team. There's you can argue about the offensive line.
- 28:06Speaker 1: We could get better here, we get better there. But
- 28:08Speaker 1: at the end of the day, the players were outter
- 28:10Speaker 1: on the field to make you got DC barely overthrown
- 28:13Speaker 1: Waller one time when he got behind the defense. You
- 28:15Speaker 1: would love to see d wall bringing that thing in
- 28:17Speaker 1: one hand and take it to the house. D wall
- 28:19Speaker 1: had a tough catch in the end zone where he
- 28:21Speaker 1: could have caught the ball and had six points and
- 28:23Speaker 1: ends up bopping up Kevin Byer picks it off. They
- 28:26Speaker 1: take it back like it's a game of momentum. You
- 28:28Speaker 1: get that, you get an interception. I forget the safety's name.
- 28:31Speaker 1: Shout out the safety. I'm not trying to be disrespectful.
- 28:33Speaker 1: He picks off Tannehill in the third quarter and you
- 28:35Speaker 1: are pretty much in field goal range. Penalties call everything
- 28:38Speaker 1: else backs you up, and you have to you have
- 28:40Speaker 1: to have a punt. You get no points out of
- 28:42Speaker 1: the interception, which is a momentum swing. I guess I'm
- 28:45Speaker 1: saying all these things is no, like, it's not like
- 28:47Speaker 1: it's a bad football team and they're.
- 28:48Speaker 2: Just not winning games.
- 28:50Speaker 1: They're they're kind of they're not taking advantage of their
- 28:53Speaker 1: advantageous situations and they're not capitalizing. Like when they have
- 28:57Speaker 1: the opportunities to go up in the game last week
- 28:59Speaker 1: against a car Erinals, you're up twenty to nothing. You
- 29:01Speaker 1: gotta figure out a way to step on their neck
- 29:02Speaker 1: in the second half. You're up twenty nothing at home,
- 29:05Speaker 1: continue to like, you know, foot on the gas pedal
- 29:08Speaker 1: and win that fucking game. You let them get back
- 29:10Speaker 1: in the two point conversies and everything else. Again, they're
- 29:12Speaker 1: up twenty to nothing. It's not like they're a bad
- 29:13Speaker 1: football team. Getting beat by the Cardinals the week before.
- 29:16Speaker 1: I guess what we're all thinking is a good Chargers
- 29:19Speaker 1: football team. You lose that game by five points with
- 29:22Speaker 1: four turnovers. Again, I'll find the optimism in all these
- 29:25Speaker 1: games because I do think that they're a good team.
- 29:27Speaker 1: They got they got so many weapons. Number ten steps
- 29:31Speaker 1: up yesterday. It's like want of Renfros down all right,
- 29:33Speaker 1: Davontae adamss together. You still got Josh s Jacobs, who
- 29:36Speaker 1: who's averaging like six yards of carry yesterday. It's like,
- 29:39Speaker 1: you know, you can stick with the run game, but
- 29:40Speaker 1: also you're behind by two possessions in the second half.
- 29:42Speaker 1: It's kind of hard to but you got Josh Jacobs,
- 29:45Speaker 1: Darren Waller, Davante Adams, all these cats, bro and the
- 29:48Speaker 1: defense bowed up in the second half because Derrick Henry.
- 29:51Speaker 1: They were moving the ball. The boys were moving the
- 29:53Speaker 1: ball in the first half, and so it's like they
- 29:56Speaker 1: got these weapons and then ten comes out of nowhere
- 29:58Speaker 1: and steps up in the game. You really, you got
- 30:00Speaker 1: another fucking weapon now when Hunter Renfro comes back.
- 30:03Speaker 2: So again, it's like they have the ingredients.
- 30:04Speaker 1: And I've talked to the boys, like they love like McDaniels,
- 30:09Speaker 1: he comes from that that Patriot where like I do
- 30:11Speaker 1: think that they have the culture stuff from what I've.
- 30:13Speaker 2: Heard in that building, and I know the locker room.
- 30:16Speaker 1: Like it's an awesome locker room to be a part
- 30:17Speaker 1: of with the player accountability and like trying to eliminate
- 30:20Speaker 1: the outside noise because there's a fuck ton of it
- 30:23Speaker 1: when it comes to the Raiders fan base, like they're
- 30:25Speaker 1: ready to they're ready to sell everything, cut car, fire
- 30:28Speaker 1: the head coach, let's start over again. It's literally been
- 30:31Speaker 1: one year if this is the first year they've all
- 30:33Speaker 1: been together. But that's like the heat that's on the
- 30:36Speaker 1: street right now. But they've got to win this next
- 30:39Speaker 1: week against Denver. And look, I'm not a player on
- 30:42Speaker 1: the team, so I can say whatever I want to,
- 30:44Speaker 1: like they should beat Denver. Like Denver's not a better
- 30:46Speaker 1: football team than the Raiders. They should beat Denver at home.
- 30:49Speaker 1: And then you got some momentum going against the Chiefs
- 30:52Speaker 1: before you go into your bye week, So there's still
- 30:55Speaker 1: life left, like there's a pulse there, but you cannot drop.
- 30:58Speaker 1: You cannot go into the bye week one and four,
- 31:01Speaker 1: ro and five where it's like you're behind the eight ball.
- 31:03Speaker 1: The good thing is that the Chiefs loss to the
- 31:09Speaker 1: Indianapolis Colts. Wild cannot believe they lost to the Indianapolis Colts.
- 31:13Speaker 2: Some mahomes.
- 31:14Speaker 1: You saw some argument going on the sideline, like that
- 31:17Speaker 1: is a wild loss by the Chiefs. But if you're
- 31:19Speaker 1: the Raiders, you needed the Chiefs to lose because they
- 31:21Speaker 1: were them.
- 31:22Speaker 2: Before this loss. The Chargers got whooped.
- 31:26Speaker 1: By the Jaguars, and again our Jaguars them like our
- 31:28Speaker 1: Jaguars about to run the South, which is a wild
- 31:31Speaker 1: thing to say. They've been putting up close to thirty,
- 31:34Speaker 1: if not north to thirty points per game. And I
- 31:37Speaker 1: don't want to say that we were flirting with the idea,
- 31:39Speaker 1: but we were rumoring the whole Doug Peterson Trevor Lawrence
- 31:43Speaker 1: connection before the season started. We just didn't have like,
- 31:46Speaker 1: I didn't want to be the guy that says the
- 31:47Speaker 1: Jaguars might win the division this year. I'm thinking it's
- 31:49Speaker 1: either gonna be the Colts or the Titans based on
- 31:52Speaker 1: their rosters and what they got on paper. But the
- 31:54Speaker 1: Jags are fucking they can be legit, dude. They're playing
- 31:56Speaker 1: good ball and they handled the Chargers. Who is a
- 32:00Speaker 1: good football team. I guess time will tell because Chargers
- 32:02Speaker 1: are what now. I know you were just on that
- 32:06Speaker 1: Chargers are one and two. The Broncos are a sneaky
- 32:09Speaker 1: two and one. I think they're a sneaky two in one.
- 32:12Speaker 1: They shouldn't be a real two and one football team.
- 32:14Speaker 2: This is me talking.
- 32:14Speaker 1: I'm not a player, I'm not on the roster, you
- 32:16Speaker 1: know what I'm saying. I can talk my shit a
- 32:17Speaker 1: little bit. There's sneaky two in one. Shout out to
- 32:19Speaker 1: boy Melvin Gordon's going. He's been going digital. Shout out
- 32:22Speaker 1: to my man securing the football on the goal line
- 32:24Speaker 1: and going it in for the go ahead touchdown last night,
- 32:28Speaker 1: not fumbling it and the Chiefs loss. So again, I
- 32:31Speaker 1: know we're owing three and we're down bad, and the
- 32:33Speaker 1: Silver and Black were down bad right now in Vegas.
- 32:35Speaker 1: But there is still a little bit of optimism. There's
- 32:37Speaker 1: still a little bit of pulse. It's like, we're not
- 32:38Speaker 1: freaking out right now. We cannot freak out. There's got
- 32:40Speaker 1: to be some light and we will bear this cross
- 32:42Speaker 1: of having some optimism going into these next couple of weeks.
- 32:48Speaker 1: A game I fucking love that bloss Say yeah, get
- 32:53Speaker 1: the microphones, say that said.
- 32:55Speaker 8: Oh, and three is the new O and two, so
- 32:57Speaker 8: it's still possible to make it into the postseason.
- 32:59Speaker 2: But say why you said three's the new O and
- 33:01Speaker 2: two because it.
- 33:02Speaker 8: Was an added game and people team to forget that
- 33:04Speaker 8: all they're looking at is at O and three.
- 33:06Speaker 1: I love yeah, sprinkle that shit up, brother Owen. Three's
- 33:10Speaker 1: the new OH and two. And we're not panicking on
- 33:12Speaker 1: O and two. This is not the league to do it.
- 33:14Speaker 1: You can do it in the NC double A. That's kids. Shit,
- 33:16Speaker 1: We're at the big dog table. We're not freaking out
- 33:19Speaker 1: for oh and two. I love that. That juiced me
- 33:22Speaker 1: up even more. That juiced me up even more. Bro
- 33:27Speaker 1: Yo on that Broncos Niners game last night? Fuck, what
- 33:32Speaker 1: are we doing? Bloss George Kittle.
- 33:36Speaker 2: Like, ay, you you guys got the squad. You guys
- 33:39Speaker 2: got a squad.
- 33:40Speaker 9: We definitely do. We have the squad. We have the talent.
- 33:42Speaker 8: We have literally a top five player and probably the
- 33:47Speaker 8: most important positions. You have it at left tackle, you
- 33:49Speaker 8: have it at full back, talk to him, You have
- 33:51Speaker 8: it at at tight end, you have it at wide receiver, linebacker.
- 33:57Speaker 8: I mean, our secondary is crazy, Our defense is crazy.
- 34:00Speaker 8: Our defense allowed nine points. Our offense gave him two.
- 34:04Speaker 8: That's why we lost.
- 34:06Speaker 2: Gave him too.
- 34:07Speaker 1: It was like seven to five going into the fourth. Right,
- 34:09Speaker 1: it was such a weird weird score, weirdness set, Like
- 34:13Speaker 1: Jimmy Garoppolo is he the new dan Orlovsky. I saw
- 34:17Speaker 1: Dan's tweet. I absolutely loved it. Freedom somebody else did it.
- 34:21Speaker 9: But did you see the way Dan did it versus
- 34:23Speaker 9: the way Jimmy did it?
- 34:24Speaker 2: Saw the way it did it?
- 34:25Speaker 1: But the results still the same? Yeah know what I mean,
- 34:27Speaker 1: said to my man, Dan Orlovsky. He's out there, he's
- 34:30Speaker 1: out there spinning game every week and educating the masters
- 34:32Speaker 1: on football.
- 34:33Speaker 8: Actually, speaking of that, did you see the butt kicking?
- 34:37Speaker 8: The butt kick the butt punts? Sorry no, I saw
- 34:41Speaker 8: Pat tweet about that. Don't say uh oh no, And
- 34:44Speaker 8: I punted into the back of the ppe.
- 34:46Speaker 2: Yeah that's bad ball, dude.
- 34:48Speaker 8: Mark Sanchenz was happy.
- 34:50Speaker 1: Yeah, shit happens man any given Sunday. But I love
- 34:54Speaker 1: that for Dan Orlowski. We are massive fans over here
- 34:56Speaker 1: busting the boys of Dani Rolovsky. He needs to come
- 34:58Speaker 1: on the bus at some point in time. I'm glad
- 35:01Speaker 1: he just feels liberated from Jimmy g getting a safety.
- 35:06Speaker 1: And the fucking Niners are lucky too, because that was
- 35:09Speaker 1: that was a pick six.
- 35:11Speaker 2: It was a turnover.
- 35:12Speaker 8: Yeah, they said he gave up eight points if that
- 35:14Speaker 8: would counted, Yo, gave up six?
- 35:17Speaker 1: Yeah, you get in a safety to Big six. Oh god,
- 35:19Speaker 1: the safety was a good thing. But I cannot believe
- 35:21Speaker 1: you guys lost that game. I like, I'm like a
- 35:23Speaker 1: I'm a little clause of niners man just because the
- 35:25Speaker 1: boy kiddle like we need him.
- 35:26Speaker 2: To pick it up.
- 35:26Speaker 8: We're still not panicking though, remember those an extra game added?
- 35:30Speaker 2: All right, well, talk to get them new hats on Thursday.

- 36:41Speaker 1: episode Other Jacks Legit. Garrett Garrett is our our NFL
- 36:47Speaker 1: insider for the Tennessee Titans. Yeah, our AFC South representative.
- 36:52Speaker 1: He wears a two tone of blue. Hey, I know
- 36:55Speaker 1: it's hard. It might not be as hard to say,
- 36:56Speaker 1: but it feels weird to say, like the Jaguars might
- 36:59Speaker 1: be them in the AFC South.
- 37:01Speaker 6: Yeah, it's tough to see, especially just because, like you
- 37:04Speaker 6: were saying, nobody was talking about them.
- 37:07Speaker 3: It was the Colts and only the Colts.
- 37:09Speaker 6: But maybe they're maybe they're turning it around, right, But
- 37:14Speaker 6: I know you mean it's gonna be It's definitely gonna
- 37:17Speaker 6: be interesting. I haven't really watched a full Jags game,
- 37:21Speaker 6: just the highlights, But what is it what's the running
- 37:24Speaker 6: back name?
- 37:25Speaker 3: James Robinson looks nice.
- 37:28Speaker 2: Yeah, etn He's a little dog.
- 37:29Speaker 6: And of course I just I'm not a fan of
- 37:32Speaker 6: Trevor Lawrence from college to now, like I have to
- 37:35Speaker 6: play against him again, yeah, twice a year.
- 37:38Speaker 1: He looks like a good ballplayer, like he's coming into
- 37:40Speaker 1: his own. I think it's a lot.
- 37:41Speaker 6: He is a good ballplayer, and he's got a coaching staff.
- 37:43Speaker 6: It's hilarious to see how bad urban Meyer was.
- 37:47Speaker 1: Right right, and it's like we we were talking about
- 37:49Speaker 1: it before the season started. But Doug Peterson, he's like
- 37:52Speaker 1: he gets them quarterbacks right, like WinCE was a dog
- 37:54Speaker 1: when he was with him, and then when he went down, Uh,
- 37:57Speaker 1: Foles comes in and goes right away and takes them
- 37:58Speaker 1: to a super Bowl and wins it. Like Peterson's got
- 38:00Speaker 1: the vibe. And one of my boys, Nate Gary, he
- 38:04Speaker 1: was on the Eagles, like with the Peters sef and
- 38:05Speaker 1: he just says like they're the fucking best, like they're
- 38:07Speaker 1: awesome to play for.
- 38:09Speaker 2: So it's like it's a combo.
- 38:11Speaker 1: What I love about the NFL too, like with even
- 38:14Speaker 1: with the AFC South now is the Colts beat the
- 38:16Speaker 1: Chiefs like you think you're a shitty football team and
- 38:19Speaker 1: you go out and beat one of the juggernauts of
- 38:21Speaker 1: the NFL, like you have life now, right, Like, hey, guys,
- 38:24Speaker 1: you go in the locker room, you hold.
- 38:25Speaker 2: Up that football as the head coach, we can play
- 38:27Speaker 2: with anybody. One of those speeches.
- 38:29Speaker 6: Right, it's exactly what you said last week, like about
- 38:32Speaker 6: the panic button, and you're saying that it's the NFL.
- 38:34Speaker 3: Anything can happen, Anything can happen. Bro kind of showed
- 38:38Speaker 3: that again.
- 38:38Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, and again, like even on the Titans, like
- 38:41Speaker 1: you start zero and two and it looks shaky because
- 38:45Speaker 1: if you're just speaking objectively, like yeah, we could have
- 38:48Speaker 1: some inside the locker room takes as far as like, oh,
- 38:51Speaker 1: he's still a dog, even though he's not a big name,
- 38:53Speaker 1: Like he's still a dog.
- 38:54Speaker 2: He's a dog. Like you can say all this.
- 38:56Speaker 1: Stuff about the players inside, but there's no firepower like receiver.
- 39:00Speaker 2: Right, you don't have nobody like take the top off.
- 39:01Speaker 1: The Titans are known for running the football, and all
- 39:04Speaker 1: the stats coming out of the first two games with
- 39:05Speaker 1: the Titans is that Derek Henry for the majority of
- 39:07Speaker 1: the time is getting hit at or but line behind
- 39:10Speaker 1: the line of scrimmage, like if your identity is running
- 39:12Speaker 1: the football and you can't do that, like it's going
- 39:14Speaker 1: it seems like it's going to be a long year
- 39:16Speaker 1: for the Titans. But what I loved is on the
- 39:18Speaker 1: mc V show with Aaron Rodgers, He's like, is Mike
- 39:20Speaker 1: Verbel still the head football coach there?
- 39:22Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 39:22Speaker 1: Pa was trying to say somebody's like and shut the
- 39:24Speaker 1: fuck up. And it just shows that Raves and that
- 39:27Speaker 1: like that they they will get the boys playing like
- 39:29Speaker 1: it might be gritty every game that you might have
- 39:32Speaker 1: to win, but they're gonna know how to win.
- 39:33Speaker 2: They're gonna know what it takes.
- 39:34Speaker 1: They're gonna know how to try and exploit whatever they
- 39:36Speaker 1: can to win that football game, and like a dirty fashion.
- 39:39Speaker 6: It showed a lot in that first quarter especially. Yeah,
- 39:43Speaker 6: they bounced out like thumping, like the ball was moving.
- 39:46Speaker 6: Tannehill looked good, the receivers looked good, defense looked good. Yeah,
- 39:51Speaker 6: and then it's still one of those things like the
- 39:53Speaker 6: second half comes and it's like we play like we
- 39:57Speaker 6: just play careful with the lead. Yeah, like you're saying
- 40:00Speaker 6: that the Raiders needed to do last week. Keep that
- 40:02Speaker 6: foot on the gas MM hm and hopefully hopefully we'll
- 40:06Speaker 6: get that out. Yeah, hopefully we'll We'll keep doing that.
- 40:08Speaker 6: But yeah, shout out Kevin BYRN.
- 40:12Speaker 7: Beast.
- 40:12Speaker 2: Yeah, shout out the boys.
- 40:13Speaker 7: Man.
- 40:13Speaker 2: Look, that was a massive win for the Boys. Like
- 40:15Speaker 2: I know, like I'm on the.
- 40:16Speaker 3: Other atue this Friday.
- 40:18Speaker 2: Really yeah, it will deserve Like kb's the stuff, man.
- 40:21Speaker 1: It's been really cool to like watch him grow as
- 40:23Speaker 1: not only a player, but he like a leader, captain,
- 40:25Speaker 1: person of the community and everything else.
- 40:27Speaker 2: Like he's a really good fucking dude. Man. Yeah, but
- 40:31Speaker 2: massive win for the Titans, bro.
- 40:32Speaker 1: Like I know, it seems like I was on the
- 40:33Speaker 1: other side of the fence because I was rooting for
- 40:35Speaker 1: the Raiders to win the game. But it's like a
- 40:38Speaker 1: it's a weird spot to be in. At the end
- 40:39Speaker 1: of the day, I have a lot of good relationships
- 40:41Speaker 1: on both sides. I feel like when everything that went
- 40:44Speaker 1: down in December and I was in that locker room
- 40:46Speaker 1: with the Raiders and all those guys, and like, there's just.
- 40:49Speaker 2: Like I wanted them. I was, I was rooting for them.
- 40:52Speaker 1: It's hard because I'm rooting for like everybody, but obviously
- 40:55Speaker 1: you don't want to be a pussy and not pick somebody.
- 40:57Speaker 2: So it's like, all right, well, I'm gonna pick the Raiders.
- 40:59Speaker 6: Right Watching the game, it was one of those you
- 41:01Speaker 6: see the Raiders offense and defense, You're like, damn, there's
- 41:05Speaker 6: the boy.
- 41:05Speaker 3: Oh shit, there's the boy. There's the boy.
- 41:08Speaker 6: And then they get on defense You're like, oh, Mike,
- 41:10Speaker 6: Jayon's there now, like oh everybody, and god.
- 41:12Speaker 2: They got the foss on there.
- 41:13Speaker 1: And I feel like I have some of those personal
- 41:15Speaker 1: relate not that I don't have those with the Titans,
- 41:17Speaker 1: but I feel like I'm talking to some of those
- 41:19Speaker 1: guys in the Raiders a little more often. Like again,
- 41:21Speaker 1: you got Max, Darren Waller, yeah Foster, like you got
- 41:25Speaker 1: a mer Yeah, a mirror bro like Jayon, all those dudes. Man,
- 41:28Speaker 1: you just got those some of the fellas on the team,
- 41:30Speaker 1: and you root for like you like root for all
- 41:33Speaker 1: the players, and they just have enough to where it's like, yeah,
- 41:35Speaker 1: I'm pulling for I'm pulling for the Silver and Black. Yeah,
- 41:38Speaker 1: yeah they were. I did bet on them and they
- 41:40Speaker 1: let me down heavy. But your boy made a hell
- 41:43Speaker 1: of a fucking play and I hedged it in the
- 41:46Speaker 1: second half, so I went I bet on the Raiders
- 41:50Speaker 1: minus two and a half. And then when the second
- 41:51Speaker 1: half came, I went back in and basically doubled down
- 41:55Speaker 1: by going Raiders plus six and a half and they
- 41:57Speaker 1: ended up covering.
- 41:58Speaker 2: So I basically it was basically a w.
- 42:01Speaker 1: It was a heady play, but it could have It
- 42:03Speaker 1: could end badly, you know what I mean. Yeah, let's
- 42:07Speaker 1: get into our uh all that football talk, fire anything
- 42:11Speaker 1: else that we needed and shout out the Boys day,
- 42:12Speaker 1: shout out to two to blue, like I'm still riding
- 42:15Speaker 1: as long as you you know. I know some people
- 42:16Speaker 1: pray by, oh you can't, like you gotta be with
- 42:18Speaker 1: us or you're not with anybody. I understand that you're
- 42:20Speaker 1: either for the boys or you're against them type of mentality.
- 42:22Speaker 1: We kind of created that, and it's tough that I
- 42:24Speaker 1: got to be on the outside looking in, but I
- 42:26Speaker 1: will be partaking. I am partaking in the in the
- 42:28Speaker 1: victory Monday lattes uh paid for by the parlay that
- 42:32Speaker 1: hit the Bet the Boys parlay, which you can check
- 42:34Speaker 1: out bus Bet the Bus every Friday morning. We might
- 42:38Speaker 1: be going a Thursday, but you can check out Bet
- 42:40Speaker 1: the Bus. It's on YouTube, roll it out on YouTube
- 42:42Speaker 1: and audio. We fucking we go over the whole slaty games,
- 42:45Speaker 1: the whole boards for the weekend.
- 42:46Speaker 2: But check that out.
- 42:47Speaker 1: Let's get into our shout out, our favorite segment, our
- 42:50Speaker 1: shout out no free shoutouts segment of the week.
- 42:54Speaker 2: Blah start of soft brother, what's your shout out of
- 42:56Speaker 2: the week?
- 42:56Speaker 8: My shout out this week, I was reminded how important
- 43:00Speaker 8: this is and how much you know. I never really
- 43:03Speaker 8: noticed it until we started making that trip back from
- 43:06Speaker 8: from Knoxville.
- 43:08Speaker 9: I looked at my gas tank, saw.
- 43:10Speaker 8: That I was running a little bit low, and I
- 43:13Speaker 8: was holding out looking at those gas prices every county
- 43:16Speaker 8: that we kind of went in, and I knew once
- 43:18Speaker 8: it got below that three dollars mark, that that's where
- 43:22Speaker 8: I should get gas. Because if I went and if
- 43:24Speaker 8: I went to Nashville, I knew I was going to
- 43:25Speaker 8: play pay that extra thirty cents. So I went ahead
- 43:28Speaker 8: and filled up at that that that that gas tank
- 43:31Speaker 8: in that county.
- 43:32Speaker 9: That gets the gas presses right.
- 43:34Speaker 8: So my shout out, no free shout out goes to
- 43:36Speaker 8: filling up just before you get into uh into Nashville.
- 43:41Speaker 2: I love it.
- 43:42Speaker 1: Awareness saving money, gas gas price awareness.
- 43:45Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, off clap g go ahead, brother. I want
- 43:51Speaker 2: to guess what it is, but I want you go
- 43:53Speaker 2: ahead because I think I know.
- 43:55Speaker 6: Oh I I'm off the dome right here.
- 43:58Speaker 3: So my shout out, free, shout out.
- 44:00Speaker 6: It's going to be the two tone Blue getting a
- 44:04Speaker 6: dub needing it. And I know we play the Colts
- 44:10Speaker 6: and Washington soon and then the Colts again, so that
- 44:14Speaker 6: could be three three dubs and get us back on track.
- 44:19Speaker 1: Oh, I love that, And shout out to Busting with
- 44:22Speaker 1: the boys for being We didn't hit any panic button
- 44:24Speaker 1: at oh and two. You know, I was at a
- 44:26Speaker 1: predictment kind of room for them to go oh and three,
- 44:28Speaker 1: I guess in a weird spin zone, but not in here.
- 44:32Speaker 1: We didn't hit the panic button here. Shout out to
- 44:34Speaker 1: you brother, Yes, sir, and that was a good one.
- 44:36Speaker 1: I thought you were gonna do merchandise that you're gonna do.
- 44:39Speaker 1: I thought you were gonna let true.
- 44:45Speaker 10: So my shout out, no, free shout out, Yeah, JJB,
- 44:49Speaker 10: you're o brother. The weather is starting to get a
- 44:52Speaker 10: little cold. This isn't going where you think it's gone.
- 44:56Speaker 10: So our noses are starting to get a little more stuffy.
- 44:59Speaker 10: They will start to get more stuffy and This can
- 45:01Speaker 10: happen outside of cold weather, but happens more frequently in
- 45:04Speaker 10: cold weather. And there's nothing better. And parents might be
- 45:09Speaker 10: upset at this, but there's nothing better than picking a
- 45:13Speaker 10: huge booger out of your nose, going up there, seeing
- 45:17Speaker 10: it and it's just a beast and you're like, hey,
- 45:20Speaker 10: that felt good.
- 45:21Speaker 1: There are some nose picks that feel good that you
- 45:24Speaker 1: kind of pull out and you kind of feel sliding
- 45:26Speaker 1: from your brain exactly.
- 45:28Speaker 2: So I don't want this. I don't want this to end, dude.
- 45:30Speaker 10: And what a lie that we were told our whole lives,
- 45:32Speaker 10: like stop picking your nose, Stop picking your nose.
- 45:35Speaker 1: I do agree with that, because can we can all
- 45:38Speaker 1: agree that we're secret little nose we're sneaky nose pickers. Yeah,
- 45:42Speaker 1: like hard you never catch anybody else. So you think,
- 45:45Speaker 1: like maybe you're a little twist in the head that
- 45:46Speaker 1: you love picking it so much.
- 45:48Speaker 2: You're right, man, free the booger.
- 45:49Speaker 3: Breathe the boger.
- 45:53Speaker 2: That's a good one. You're right. Shout out to picking
- 45:56Speaker 2: your fucking nose, dude.
- 45:57Speaker 7: So that's a tough one to follow, right, there's my
- 46:00Speaker 7: first one.
- 46:00Speaker 2: Yeah, this is your first one. It's your first one.
- 46:02Speaker 1: I think you're gonna get the benefit of that, because
- 46:04Speaker 1: we're gonna have energy no matter what.
- 46:05Speaker 4: But Mitch, your very first shadow, this one actually happened
- 46:09Speaker 4: this weekend. Moving out of Nashville. I gotta go to
- 46:11Speaker 4: the store and get all the groceries and whatnot. It
- 46:14Speaker 4: was at a grocery store. You pick out a cart.
- 46:16Speaker 4: Some of those those shopping carts, the wheels are all busted.
- 46:20Speaker 4: They're tough to they're tough to like walk with and everything.
- 46:24Speaker 4: When you find that one cart where like if you
- 46:26Speaker 4: let go and it still goes straight, it's all smooth
- 46:29Speaker 4: and everything.
- 46:30Speaker 7: That that's my shoutout know for you shadow the week.
- 46:32Speaker 4: When you get that that smooth cart, that just makes
- 46:34Speaker 4: it the trip a lot more enjoyable.
- 46:39Speaker 2: Can we give mench a slow clup for understanding the assignment?
- 46:45Speaker 1: Yeah that was good, bro, And you do that too well.
- 46:53Speaker 2: Let me go back.
- 46:56Speaker 1: Yes, Oh man, I wish mine was detail as your guys.
- 47:00Speaker 1: Mine's fairly simple. I'm going on the family route. I
- 47:02Speaker 1: want to shout out Cerulian and my wife over the
- 47:05Speaker 1: weekend that JP already pissed off.
- 47:07Speaker 2: Dude. We went to two foot We went to two
- 47:09Speaker 2: football games. With the Rue. We took Rue to two
- 47:11Speaker 2: football games, like on Knoxville.
- 47:13Speaker 1: We woke up at five in the morning, got her ready,
- 47:15Speaker 1: got her bag ready, got everything else, and I was like, sweet,
- 47:18Speaker 1: are you sure you want to go?
- 47:18Speaker 2: Like this is gonna be a long day for.
- 47:21Speaker 1: You to have Rue and like just like follow us
- 47:23Speaker 1: around and do all this stuff and be be looking
- 47:26Speaker 1: after Rue. And then we're gonna go on the field.
- 47:27Speaker 1: Her naps are gonna be off, like she's probably not
- 47:29Speaker 1: gonna get one. All the simulation. Like I'm kind of
- 47:31Speaker 1: trying to talk her out of going, like I promise
- 47:33Speaker 1: you it's okay if you don't want to go, because
- 47:35Speaker 1: like a kind of sense that she didn't. She's like,
- 47:37Speaker 1: oh man, I kind of want to back out of
- 47:38Speaker 1: this because she was in Portland from Sunday to Thursday
- 47:41Speaker 1: night and then we're waking up at like five in
- 47:42Speaker 1: the morning to go to Knoxville and drive back.
- 47:45Speaker 2: Rue was a nightmare on the way back, crying on
- 47:47Speaker 2: the way home.
- 47:48Speaker 1: Tried to like climb in the back and like play
- 47:50Speaker 1: with her and do everything else. And then we go
- 47:53Speaker 1: to We got the tailgate Sunday morning at ten am.
- 47:56Speaker 1: Like a lot boys. I wanted to kind of skip that.
- 47:58Speaker 1: I was exhausted from the buck from the day before,
- 48:01Speaker 1: but I literally thought to myself, like JP, Mitch and
- 48:04Speaker 1: Bloss have been grinding too, Like those boys are grinding.
- 48:07Speaker 1: And if I'm gonna sit here and make this and
- 48:09Speaker 1: complain about man, I don't want to go and have
- 48:11Speaker 1: a little party with the with Raider Nation and Titans
- 48:14Speaker 1: Nation and then go watch a game like I'm such
- 48:15Speaker 1: a pussy and a terrible leader. So that was like
- 48:18Speaker 1: my little self talk because I was like, the boys
- 48:19Speaker 1: have been grinding more than me. But then we go
- 48:23Speaker 1: to the Titans game and bring Rude to that. Your
- 48:25Speaker 1: boy dad of the year, Father of the year. I'm
- 48:28Speaker 1: identifying that Charles has been doing a lot. So I'm
- 48:29Speaker 1: trying to do as much as i can. When we're
- 48:31Speaker 1: watching the Titans game, I'm changing rule on the couch
- 48:33Speaker 1: in the back.
- 48:33Speaker 2: I sweet, I'll get it this that.
- 48:35Speaker 1: But I want to shout out my wife and my
- 48:37Speaker 1: daughter Rue for just having a gritty weekend, not complaining
- 48:42Speaker 1: about it, and Rude just having her first experiences at
- 48:45Speaker 1: football games, like it was really cool to like get
- 48:48Speaker 1: photos with her on the field and everything else.
- 48:50Speaker 2: But that is my shot, I know for a shot
- 48:51Speaker 2: out of the week. Should we all right?
- 48:56Speaker 1: We're probably at a long intro. I hey, look pro
- 49:00Speaker 1: vibes again. Comment right now say I'm here for the
- 49:02Speaker 1: vis I'm here for the intro, like subscribe to all
- 49:06Speaker 1: that stuff before we go into the interview. Do you
- 49:08Speaker 1: guys do we want to do the tier talk? Our
- 49:10Speaker 1: tier talk was best months of the year. I would
- 49:13Speaker 1: love the back of the bus to have a column
- 49:14Speaker 1: of what your Tier three, two and one is? You
- 49:17Speaker 1: rot of them.
- 49:18Speaker 2: Off, just so we can get the graphic up for
- 49:19Speaker 2: the boys.
- 49:20Speaker 3: Before we hop into that.
- 49:22Speaker 6: I do want to double down on the shout out
- 49:23Speaker 6: to the boys grinding this weekend because Jack and I
- 49:26Speaker 6: weren't there and that was a huge help for you
- 49:29Speaker 6: guys doing that.
- 49:31Speaker 1: Hey, that's a that's a nice shoutout. That's a nice shoutout.
- 49:34Speaker 1: You guys crushed it though. Hey you got you guys
- 49:36Speaker 1: fucking grind. You guys did fucking awesome. I know you
- 49:38Speaker 1: just miss you got like thrown into the fire. You
- 49:40Speaker 1: got here, like last week you're with your mom picking
- 49:42Speaker 1: out apartments and then like you know, I'm like, hey,
- 49:44Speaker 1: you know, I'll get your.
- 49:45Speaker 2: Laptop blah blah blah blah blah.
- 49:46Speaker 1: And it's like, hey, we're going to Knoxville on Saturday
- 49:48Speaker 1: morning and you're kind of like, all right, how we
- 49:50Speaker 1: rolling and you just ride with blass like you guys
- 49:52Speaker 1: fucking grit it. You guys executed at a high level.
- 49:54Speaker 1: Like that was a successful weekend. We had fun at
- 49:57Speaker 1: the show. We got all the clips, we got clips,
- 49:58Speaker 1: we got all this stuff. Bro, you guys, you guys
- 50:00Speaker 1: crushed it. Let's do let's hit your guys' tier talk
- 50:04Speaker 1: before we get into this episode with p f T.
- 50:07Speaker 1: The tier talk is best months of the year that
- 50:10Speaker 1: we did with myself in p f T.
- 50:14Speaker 7: So my are we just doing all number ones and
- 50:17Speaker 7: then that'll.
- 50:17Speaker 2: Make yeast of your guys is months and then that'll
- 50:20Speaker 2: be the graph.
- 50:20Speaker 7: So uh, my, my tier one has to be September.
- 50:24Speaker 2: It's like my birthday.
- 50:26Speaker 4: Yeah exactly why football like just started starting to cool off.
- 50:31Speaker 4: Uh you still get like that warm weather the summer,
- 50:33Speaker 4: but it's starting like creeping a sweatshirt weather, which is
- 50:36Speaker 4: the best.
- 50:37Speaker 7: You can't beat that. So yeah, it's final season is
- 50:39Speaker 7: coming in. Yeah. Yeah, that's my uh, that's my my
- 50:41Speaker 7: tier one.
- 50:42Speaker 2: That's your pick that's your month. Blossom gear back there
- 50:47Speaker 2: figuring out which one they want to do. I love it.
- 50:50Speaker 3: Wait what are.
- 50:53Speaker 2: Okay? Yeah?
- 50:55Speaker 10: My Tier one month goes to July, middle of summer,
- 51:02Speaker 10: peak heat, fourth of July, probably my second favorite holiday.
- 51:08Speaker 10: And you're like so far out of school. School isn't
- 51:11Speaker 10: even on your radar at all. Like in June, you
- 51:14Speaker 10: still in high school, like hit the first couple of
- 51:16Speaker 10: days and you're in summer. But July is just like
- 51:18Speaker 10: peak summer, and I love summer.
- 51:21Speaker 2: Love that you are. Yeah, I like, I wouldn't I would.
- 51:25Speaker 2: I would kind of question you.
- 51:26Speaker 1: I would think you're a fraud about your summer, your
- 51:28Speaker 1: summer and sun vibes, because you're all about the sun,
- 51:31Speaker 1: the beach and everything else.
- 51:32Speaker 2: If you had you not picked like July.
- 51:35Speaker 6: So Blossom and I agree on this one. And our
- 51:38Speaker 6: favorite month is going to be November. It's really crispy.
- 51:43Speaker 6: It's as JP brought it to my attention, Rivalry weekend
- 51:46Speaker 6: for college football. You are coming it. You're in the
- 51:50Speaker 6: middle of holiday season. You just come off Withooctober, have
- 51:55Speaker 6: Thanksgiving going into Christmas. So our month is going to
- 51:59Speaker 6: be no member shot out Black Friday, by Merch.
- 52:04Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, all right, we'll get into this p f
- 52:10Speaker 1: T episode. We talked him a lot about like him
- 52:13Speaker 1: coming in uh barstool, right, Yeah, yeah, him coming into
- 52:16Speaker 1: barsol a lot with him and him and Aaron Foster's
- 52:19Speaker 1: relationship on doing macrodosing with him and the team, because
- 52:21Speaker 1: I just think it's a very unique duo, uh to
- 52:24Speaker 1: do macrodosing. We also talk about the co Yeah, we
- 52:27Speaker 1: talk a lot about my time at the Commanders. They're
- 52:30Speaker 1: them having their show at ESPN, like how Pard might
- 52:32Speaker 1: take started and some of their seasoned desist stuff that
- 52:34Speaker 1: went on with ESPN.
- 52:36Speaker 7: Uh.
- 52:37Speaker 1: But yeah, a lot of talk about the R words,
- 52:39Speaker 1: the f T s and the C words back when
- 52:42Speaker 1: I played on the R words. So there was a
- 52:43Speaker 1: lot there because PFT is a massive Washington fan. And
- 52:47Speaker 1: then we did a roadback question at the end. Our
- 52:49Speaker 1: tier talk was the best months of the year. But
- 52:51Speaker 1: you guys will check it out anything else.
- 52:54Speaker 2: Boys, I think with uh with T f T, there's clearly.
- 53:00Speaker 10: You know, with us hitting number one a while back,
- 53:02Speaker 10: there was some underlying beef that you and PFT kind
- 53:05Speaker 10: of squashed.
- 53:06Speaker 1: There was some friction like yeah, because they are the
- 53:08Speaker 1: number one sports pod out there. However, we did dethron
- 53:11Speaker 1: them for like a couple different rights.
- 53:14Speaker 10: So y'all got into the originality of Busting with the Boys,
- 53:17Speaker 10: right be the topic, right it?
- 53:18Speaker 1: Actually it was good for me to learn about their
- 53:20Speaker 1: part of my take creation, right, you know what I mean?
- 53:23Speaker 1: Because we get a lot of people give us a
- 53:25Speaker 1: lot of flak, and I'm like, you kind of just.
- 53:26Speaker 2: Go with it because you just you know that nothing's
- 53:28Speaker 2: really original at all.
- 53:30Speaker 1: But that was fun to like learn about the beginning
- 53:32Speaker 1: of part of my take and their little rise and
- 53:33Speaker 1: everything like that.
- 53:34Speaker 2: But we solid boys.
- 53:36Speaker 1: Can we get into this episode without further ado, Enjoy
- 53:41Speaker 1: this episode of Bust with the Boys, Like, subscribe, leave reviews,
- 53:46Speaker 1: follow us wherever you get your pods. You can find
- 53:48Speaker 1: us on social media, leave a comment, But enjoy this

- 54:55Speaker 1: team mascot pft's dog Billy Football back in.
- 54:58Speaker 2: The back recording right now. Yeah, we've been recording the hole.
- 55:00Speaker 2: Oh yeah, I love it.
- 55:02Speaker 1: We were supposed to get potentially Arion Foster on, but
- 55:05Speaker 1: he made he made a very clutch decision by saying
- 55:09Speaker 1: I'm planning on being hungover while also giving us hope
- 55:13Speaker 1: that he could come on. But at the same time,
- 55:14Speaker 1: if I'm not on the pod, it's all good because
- 55:16Speaker 1: I already told you I'm planning on the hangover.
- 55:18Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 55:18Speaker 7: Yeah, so he is. He's indisposed right now.
- 55:20Speaker 11: He's on campus for the first time at Tennessee since
- 55:24Speaker 11: he graduated out there, or really since he left school.
- 55:26Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 55:26Speaker 11: So he's meeting up with all his friends, all his
- 55:28Speaker 11: old coaches and stuff, and he's been.
- 55:31Speaker 7: Pulled in line different directions.
- 55:32Speaker 11: And last night we finally we got to do a
- 55:34Speaker 11: drunk late night podcast for the first time with him
- 55:38Speaker 11: on Macrodos and Macrodosing. So it was really fun. We
- 55:40Speaker 11: went out to a waffle house and I think that
- 55:42Speaker 11: is the first podcast ever recorded in a waffle house.
- 55:45Speaker 7: So we sat at the table.
- 55:46Speaker 11: He brought like two of his old teammates from college
- 55:50Speaker 11: and he said.
- 55:50Speaker 2: Yeah, don't be speaking out of turn Billy.
- 55:52Speaker 7: He did jump permission idea to go to waffle house.
- 55:55Speaker 11: Okay, Respectabilly. It was Billy's idea. It was a great
- 55:58Speaker 11: idea that he had. And yeah, so we show up
- 56:01Speaker 11: there at like two thirty or no, it was before.
- 56:02Speaker 11: That's like one o'clock, one thirty, and we're all pretty inebriated.
- 56:07Speaker 11: I accidentally took mushrooms last night, and so we're trying
- 56:10Speaker 11: to macrodosing. Yeah, somebody slipped them into my hand and
- 56:15Speaker 11: then I took them.
- 56:16Speaker 2: Yea.
- 56:17Speaker 11: So we were in the waffle house and we were
- 56:18Speaker 11: recording the show, and it was actually, it was a
- 56:20Speaker 11: really touching moment because he's going through all these emotions
- 56:23Speaker 11: about coming back to college for the first time. And
- 56:25Speaker 11: he's always been a dude who's like, he's not super
- 56:28Speaker 11: friendly with college football because he looks at like what
- 56:32Speaker 11: he did, and he looks at the way that the
- 56:34Speaker 11: athletes were kind of exploited for a really.
- 56:36Speaker 7: Long time, and he's got a lot of resentment.
- 56:38Speaker 11: About that that he was he grew up pretty poor,
- 56:41Speaker 11: and they kept him poor on purpose for longer than
- 56:44Speaker 11: they need to, even though he was bringing in money
- 56:46Speaker 11: to the team. And so he's always been like standoffish
- 56:48Speaker 11: and had that relationship with college football. But being back
- 56:51Speaker 11: here and seeing like some of his old coaches, his
- 56:54Speaker 11: old teammates, and connecting with the fans, he's really like
- 56:59Speaker 11: grown to appreciate college football in the entire environment around him.
- 57:03Speaker 11: And he was like he was getting emotional and like crying.
- 57:06Speaker 7: A little bit. Last night. It was it was really
- 57:07Speaker 7: it was a beautiful thing. And then also on the pod.
- 57:10Speaker 11: Yeah, then we got Big T, who was like the
- 57:12Speaker 11: opposite of Arian in terms of he is like a
- 57:15Speaker 11: college football nut.
- 57:16Speaker 7: He's insane about college football.
- 57:19Speaker 11: And seeing how happy Big T was back in this
- 57:22Speaker 11: environment and the relationships that have kind of grown up
- 57:25Speaker 11: around college football and the University of Tennessee, like Arians,
- 57:29Speaker 11: started to get emotional and realize that there's a big
- 57:31Speaker 11: connection between the players and the fans that sometimes he
- 57:35Speaker 11: didn't always see. Now he also he still thinks that,
- 57:37Speaker 11: like it was bullshit that they wouldn't pay the players
- 57:39Speaker 11: for a very long time, and that's not going to change,
- 57:41Speaker 11: nor should it in terms of like him not liking that,
- 57:44Speaker 11: but getting to see him in Big T get like
- 57:48Speaker 11: come close, like bros.
- 57:50Speaker 2: It was really cool.
- 57:51Speaker 11: And this all happened in a waffle house at one
- 57:53Speaker 11: thirty am last night, and then afterwards he was so
- 57:55Speaker 11: pumped up. He was like, I think I want to
- 57:57Speaker 11: do that podcast with Will tomorrow and I was like, okay,
- 57:59Speaker 11: all right, He's like I'm gonna be up early, just
- 58:01Speaker 11: let me know. I was like, okay, we can make
- 58:02Speaker 11: it happen. And then he's off doing something else.
- 58:06Speaker 2: But yeah, you know, he's all good.
- 58:07Speaker 1: Like if it's his first time, which is mind blowing
- 58:09Speaker 1: to me, Like maybe it'll start coming back more now
- 58:11Speaker 1: that he's kind of had that like moment, because I
- 58:14Speaker 1: would love to talk to him about that stuff, because
- 58:16Speaker 1: there's always like a there's always that separation mentally of
- 58:20Speaker 1: because I agree with some of like the exploitation of
- 58:22Speaker 1: the players, and you're happy that guys are getting paid
- 58:24Speaker 1: in the Nile world. But there's also that like connection
- 58:27Speaker 1: to the university and the connection that you have with
- 58:29Speaker 1: like the fans, and it's hard to like separate, separate
- 58:33Speaker 1: because when you speak on like what Arian always speaks on,
- 58:36Speaker 1: you kind of divide yourself from the fans because fans
- 58:39Speaker 1: can't necessarily always see it from your perspective because they
- 58:42Speaker 1: love you know, they love the logo, they love all
- 58:44Speaker 1: those banners up there so much, and it's like, oh,
- 58:46Speaker 1: why is and he being grateful about the time that
- 58:48Speaker 1: he had. But then when you're in it, you can
- 58:50Speaker 1: like it's a weird it's a weird bridge to gap
- 58:53Speaker 1: at times.
- 58:54Speaker 7: Yeah, you're exactly right.
- 58:55Speaker 11: It's just cool having that conversation and seeing like him
- 58:59Speaker 11: opening up about some of the stuff that he's usually
- 59:02Speaker 11: like a little bit guarded about.
- 59:03Speaker 7: Yeah, now was that because the waffles were so good?
- 59:05Speaker 7: Was that because the vibes or vibes.
- 59:07Speaker 11: Were high and it was late and you know what
- 59:09Speaker 11: it was, but it was It was a cool moment.
- 59:11Speaker 11: And shout out to Billy Football whose idea was so
- 59:13Speaker 11: to podcast from Walthless. Want to make sure to get
- 59:15Speaker 11: that into Oh Billy Man. Billy is in the background
- 59:18Speaker 11: right now. Yeah, just hanging out.
- 59:20Speaker 1: So how do you get connected? How does the relationship
- 59:22Speaker 1: with Aaron even come about? Like when you guys drop
- 59:24Speaker 1: Macrodos and I see you and Aaron Foster doing a pod,
- 59:27Speaker 1: Like I was thinking to myself like, oh, he doesn't
- 59:29Speaker 1: even seem like somebody who would be like a barstool guy. Yeah,
- 59:32Speaker 1: and now he's doing a pod with you called Macrodosing
- 59:34Speaker 1: where you guys seems like tall conspiracy theories or pretty
- 59:36Speaker 1: much anything that's on your mind.
- 59:38Speaker 11: Yeah, basically like whatever we're interested in that given week.
- 59:41Speaker 11: But we we met through Actually he came on part
- 59:44Speaker 11: of my take back in like twenty sixteen. I want
- 59:47Speaker 11: to say yeah, and I started listening to his music
- 59:49Speaker 11: because you want to talk about his music career, and obviously,
- 59:52Speaker 11: like I had interact with him before on Twitter and
- 59:54Speaker 11: like bust his balls about the whole, like, you know
- 59:57Speaker 11: the debate he had where he said that he could
- 59:58Speaker 11: take down.
- 59:59Speaker 7: A wolfh rogue one.
- 1:00:00Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 1:00:01Speaker 11: So he said on Twitter one time like I could
- 1:00:05Speaker 11: defeat a wolf in my bare hands in combat, and
- 1:00:07Speaker 11: that went so viral that he got He still gets
- 1:00:09Speaker 11: asked on podcasts to this day to ask if he
- 1:00:12Speaker 11: could a wolf, and he still does.
- 1:00:14Speaker 7: Yeah, he still does things.
- 1:00:16Speaker 2: I think he actually believes that.
- 1:00:17Speaker 11: I think it like a betal wolf he could take down. Yeah,
- 1:00:21Speaker 11: like a real you know, like not not a big one,
- 1:00:23Speaker 11: like a medium sized wolf. Maybe one that just ate,
- 1:00:27Speaker 11: not like the alpha, not a hungry alpha.
- 1:00:29Speaker 7: No, not a hungry alpha at all.
- 1:00:30Speaker 11: But yeah, So we interacted a few times online and
- 1:00:33Speaker 11: then he came out on part of my take.
- 1:00:34Speaker 7: I started listening to his music and we start dming.
- 1:00:36Speaker 11: Each other because I was like, you're this is like
- 1:00:39Speaker 11: legitimately good music that you're making.
- 1:00:40Speaker 7: It's crazy.
- 1:00:41Speaker 11: And then our mutual friend Tommy Alter. I don't know
- 1:00:44Speaker 11: if you know Tommy. If you don't know him, you
- 1:00:46Speaker 11: probably will soon because he knows literally everyone in the world.
- 1:00:49Speaker 7: He co hosts that the JJ Reddick old man in
- 1:00:52Speaker 7: the three.
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:00:53Speaker 11: Yeah, so he knows everybody in the world. He's a
- 1:00:55Speaker 11: great friend of mine. I met him back in like
- 1:00:57Speaker 11: twenty thirteen, like a long long time ago, so he
- 1:00:59Speaker 11: he kind of reconnected us.
- 1:01:02Speaker 7: We got Arian back on part of my take. Arian
- 1:01:05Speaker 7: and I kept in touch after that.
- 1:01:06Speaker 11: And then Tommy actually said like, I think you should
- 1:01:11Speaker 11: do a podcast with Aaron.
- 1:01:11Speaker 7: I think you guys would click together really well.
- 1:01:14Speaker 11: So Arian was like, yeah, let's do it, and we
- 1:01:16Speaker 11: just kind of started with an idea from there.
- 1:01:19Speaker 7: And then Billy overheard.
- 1:01:20Speaker 11: Me talking about the podcast and he goes, can I
- 1:01:22Speaker 11: just be like, can I just be like you're Jamie
- 1:01:25Speaker 11: on the Joe Rogan Show and just fact check. It's
- 1:01:27Speaker 11: very funny because like Billy's initial role was to be
- 1:01:29Speaker 11: a fact checker on the podcast. Now he's the number
- 1:01:32Speaker 11: one source of us needing a fact checker on the
- 1:01:35Speaker 11: podcast because he screws up his facts. But Bill, but
- 1:01:38Speaker 11: Billy was never supposed to be like, well, I don't
- 1:01:40Speaker 11: want to say supposed to be on the show. It
- 1:01:42Speaker 11: was going to be like myself, Arian, Big Tea, and
- 1:01:45Speaker 11: we were gonna just kind of and Coley was like
- 1:01:48Speaker 11: going to get into the mix occasionally. And then you know,
- 1:01:52Speaker 11: Billy found out about it.
- 1:01:53Speaker 7: It was like, yo, I just I want to be
- 1:01:54Speaker 7: on the show. It sounds awesome.
- 1:01:56Speaker 11: And I was like, you know what, Billy would be
- 1:01:57Speaker 11: a great addition to the show, and he has been.
- 1:01:59Speaker 11: So it's kind of like it's evolved and it's grown
- 1:02:02Speaker 11: after it came out. And the first time I saw
- 1:02:04Speaker 11: the numbers, I was like, I didn't want to see.
- 1:02:05Speaker 7: The numbers at first.
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: Dude, there's a weird anxiety that was like I'm doing
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: something different, Like let's see that. It's like a new
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: It's like a new gut check moment, like you're back
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: on step one. You're about to go back into step
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: one when you have the comfort of probably all of
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: the PMT stuff, like I can just do this and
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: be good.
- 1:02:20Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:02:20Speaker 2: But then when you branch off and do something else, it's.
- 1:02:22Speaker 11: Like, Okay, now I'm going to actually see yeah a reset. Yeah,
- 1:02:25Speaker 11: like it's reset. It's a new thing.
- 1:02:26Speaker 2: I was.
- 1:02:27Speaker 11: I was terrified to look at him. In fact, I
- 1:02:29Speaker 11: didn't look at the numbers for like the first I
- 1:02:31Speaker 11: want to say, three or four weeks. And then Mikey
- 1:02:33Speaker 11: Fowler or old podcast dada guy. He pulled me, so
- 1:02:36Speaker 11: he's like, dude, you know, macardosing is kind of a
- 1:02:38Speaker 11: wagon right now. And I was like, okay, thank god,
- 1:02:41Speaker 11: I'm not a total loser. It was a good moment,
- 1:02:43Speaker 11: I was. It's more relief than it was excitement at
- 1:02:45Speaker 11: the time. But yeah, it's been it's been fun. We
- 1:02:47Speaker 11: just shoot, we shoot the shit about whatever topic is
- 1:02:50Speaker 11: interesting to us that week and just kind of let
- 1:02:52Speaker 11: it rip.
- 1:02:53Speaker 2: What do you think the pool is to like, why
- 1:02:55Speaker 2: it's been successful? Was there a fear of you?
- 1:02:57Speaker 11: I think big T big T big T, he's a dude,
- 1:03:01Speaker 11: He's he moves merch.
- 1:03:02Speaker 7: Big T is a uh he's an interesting individual.
- 1:03:05Speaker 11: He's so uniquely himself and sometimes people don't like him
- 1:03:09Speaker 11: at first, but as he says, like if you if
- 1:03:12Speaker 11: you let me stick around for long enough, you're gonna
- 1:03:14Speaker 11: end up loving me. Yes, he's he's very consistent and
- 1:03:16Speaker 11: he is who he is, and even if you don't
- 1:03:18Speaker 11: like him at first, it's like, yeah, after a.
- 1:03:20Speaker 7: While, you have to.
- 1:03:22Speaker 11: You have to appreciate the commitment to himself that he has,
- 1:03:24Speaker 11: you know, which is cool.
- 1:03:26Speaker 2: Were you uh, was were you nervous? Kind of.
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: Being somebody being more yourself on like macrodosing, because it
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: seems like you're more like in your element of talking
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: about that stuff versus like part of my take, not
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: that you're not a stud at it and also in
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: your element, but it's like a it's like part of
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: my take, and the PFT commenter seems more of like
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: the character at times versus macrodosing seems.
- 1:03:49Speaker 2: More like you're you're like what you're actually interested in.
- 1:03:52Speaker 11: Yeah, so like part of my take, it's just about
- 1:03:55Speaker 11: like fucking around in sports, right, and you got it's
- 1:03:58Speaker 11: a very fast paced show, so he have to be
- 1:04:00Speaker 11: like firing on all cylinders all the time. And then
- 1:04:02Speaker 11: on on macrodosing, it's more just like a relaxed conversation.
- 1:04:06Speaker 7: So yeah, you're right.
- 1:04:07Speaker 11: I get to like, you know, take the shades off
- 1:04:09Speaker 11: and just be me for a long time and extended
- 1:04:13Speaker 11: period of time.
- 1:04:13Speaker 7: So it's it's good to be able to talk, I guess,
- 1:04:16Speaker 7: at a.
- 1:04:16Speaker 11: Longer format and just be able to get like all
- 1:04:19Speaker 11: my thoughts out there as opposed to just like go
- 1:04:22Speaker 11: go go go go. Like I love part of my take.
- 1:04:23Speaker 11: It's the best time that I have. It's still like
- 1:04:26Speaker 11: every time I sit down and do the show. I
- 1:04:28Speaker 11: end up laughing my ass off, and.
- 1:04:29Speaker 7: Like after it's over, I feel like amped up.
- 1:04:32Speaker 11: You know, I can't sleep after a part of my take,
- 1:04:34Speaker 11: especially when on Sunday, because I still love doing the
- 1:04:37Speaker 11: show that much. But with Macrodosing, it's more just like
- 1:04:40Speaker 11: a free form thing. It's kind of refreshing to be
- 1:04:42Speaker 11: able to just like, you know, just sitting down and
- 1:04:44Speaker 11: just having a long, open ended conversation sometimes with your friends.
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: So and you're kind of like learning along the way
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: and you kind of just get to it's like you're
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: like hanging hanging out. Yeah, you just get to talk
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: about opinions and kind of like I guess, break them
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: down and go whichever way you want to, whichever direction
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: you want to go.
- 1:05:00Speaker 7: Yeah, at least, what was your favorite episode?
- 1:05:04Speaker 2: What?
- 1:05:04Speaker 3: What was your favorite episode of what macrodos?
- 1:05:06Speaker 7: The question Billy, Oh, I don't.
- 1:05:08Speaker 2: I don't listen to Macrodosing throughout.
- 1:05:10Speaker 11: I respect that because a lot of people would be like,
- 1:05:13Speaker 11: like I like them all, or they listen to last
- 1:05:16Speaker 11: one that we just did. And people do that sometimes
- 1:05:18Speaker 11: when they come on Bust and they like listen to
- 1:05:20Speaker 11: the very last episode and they start like talking to
- 1:05:23Speaker 11: you guys like they listen to the show all the time.
- 1:05:24Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah, they try to bring up the one segment
- 1:05:26Speaker 2: that we'll do.
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: Yeah, I heard you guys talk about like tear talk,
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: and you know, I'm excited to kind of talk about that,
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: and you kind of just know, okay, you just throw
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: on the most recent episode. Yeah, because somebody's like, man,
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: I really loved this episode, and then I'm like, oh,
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: did you listen to Like I either refer to the
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: week after the week before that one and see if
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: they actually listen to the episode. But some people come
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: on just say, hey, I'm more of a I'm more
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: of a Tier three, Like I just watch your guys's
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: clips on the internet, but I love your guys' stuff.
- 1:05:51Speaker 11: Yeah, And when you're doing podcasts, you don't have that
- 1:05:53Speaker 11: much time to listen to other people's podcasts sometimes.
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: For sure, Like you you start to see this people
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: have like a library what they go through through other
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: week out thereybody who's committed to podcasting where they kind
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: of have like on Mondays, I'm gonna listen to a
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: part and I think that comes out fresh. They have
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: like all week long of how they like roll it
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: out because people will get like frustrated times. He you
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: should drop it here because this throws off my routine
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: of listening to this podcast on Thursday.
- 1:06:14Speaker 11: Yes, the schedule people have, Yeah, and people are like
- 1:06:16Speaker 11: super organized about how they listen to podcasts that could
- 1:06:19Speaker 11: never be me. Ever, It's like I just sit down
- 1:06:21Speaker 11: and if it's on my phone at like at any
- 1:06:23Speaker 11: given time, I'll.
- 1:06:24Speaker 7: Just like pop it on for thirty seconds. Then I'm
- 1:06:26Speaker 7: out again. Like I don't.
- 1:06:27Speaker 11: I don't listen to the only podcast I listened to
- 1:06:29Speaker 11: on a regular basis. Busting uh is Busting with the Boys.
- 1:06:32Speaker 11: Number one, I'm a big I'm a bus boy. And
- 1:06:35Speaker 11: then the second do you guys have like a name.
- 1:06:36Speaker 7: For your your listeners?
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: Oh yeah, tier ones here one one, two, SERI we
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: like divider, We separate everybody.
- 1:06:43Speaker 2: You kind of know where you stand.
- 1:06:44Speaker 11: I like bus boy, though I might be just the
- 1:06:46Speaker 11: only bus boy. I'm a bus boy, and I'm gonna.
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: Start a different cult and then it's gonna be like
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: we're gonna run with them, be like here you guys
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: go stealing other ideas from PfP and big.
- 1:06:54Speaker 7: There there you go.
- 1:06:55Speaker 11: Honestly, like the reason why we're trying to get you
- 1:06:57Speaker 11: a tryout so hard in a workout, and you've seen us.
- 1:07:00Speaker 7: We're active in the text threads, right, Yeah, like we're
- 1:07:02Speaker 7: pushing for Will Comps. The NFL is a better league
- 1:07:05Speaker 7: when Will Compton's playing it. You know what I'm talking about.
- 1:07:07Speaker 2: Oh yeah, And I was saying names and stuff. I
- 1:07:10Speaker 2: don't I feel like you guys.
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: I think dropped the name because people will be in
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: my comments and say, oh, Will's going here because they
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: already said it on PMT. But I do want to ask, like,
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: how wild later that night when I'm actually getting the
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: call for the tryout, knowing that we're in that group
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: chat just fucking around, especially the last couple of weeks.
- 1:07:29Speaker 11: Yeah, no, I mean the reason why is because we
- 1:07:31Speaker 11: want not only is the NFL better with Will Compton,
- 1:07:34Speaker 11: but like we got to get you off the podcast
- 1:07:36Speaker 11: treats like we're at part of my take. We feel
- 1:07:39Speaker 11: the heat from the boys, and so we're like, we
- 1:07:41Speaker 11: got anything to get him away from a microphone for
- 1:07:43Speaker 11: a while. It's good for our numbers, so it's in
- 1:07:45Speaker 11: our best interest.
- 1:07:46Speaker 2: Oh so you guys, So you.
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: Guys see you busting in your review a little bit.
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: There's a couple of times we passed you out there.
- 1:07:51Speaker 11: You're on the boat. Okay, that's all right. How did
- 1:07:54Speaker 11: let's have the conference there? We can have the conversation.
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: Let's have how did it feel when busting with the
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: boys or passed part of my take as the number
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: one sport podcast for I believe a few hours.
- 1:08:02Speaker 7: It was inevitable.
- 1:08:03Speaker 11: It was quite frankly, we knew it was gonna happen,
- 1:08:05Speaker 11: and it was just a matter of when, not whether
- 1:08:07Speaker 11: it would. But the way that the iTunes listenings are
- 1:08:10Speaker 11: all set up, like Spotify as well, you know you
- 1:08:13Speaker 11: know that they like whenever somebody has a new podcast,
- 1:08:16Speaker 11: right and they get a bunch of subscribers all at once,
- 1:08:19Speaker 11: they're always like number one. They always tweet out like
- 1:08:20Speaker 11: a screen shot with the number one podcast America. Yeah,
- 1:08:23Speaker 11: it's like do it for do it for six years?
- 1:08:25Speaker 11: Do it for six years.
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: You know, we were at We've been at it for
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: three So the fact that we got to number one.
- 1:08:30Speaker 7: It was good. I was happy for you guys. Honestly
- 1:08:32Speaker 7: we needed it.
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: Yeah, you know what I mean, Like at the end
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: of the day, like I think we all understand the
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: game that happens and you got to take advantage of
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: those most like, did you guys not did you guys
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: have a thing where you were number one the first
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: time you were ever number one?
- 1:08:44Speaker 2: Yeah, you're just like, oh, we're number one. We gotta
- 1:08:46Speaker 2: we gotta live.
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: In this moment for a second because we're number one. Yeah, now,
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: you guys like, you guys are the best sports podcast.
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: Like you can look at the algorithms on how other
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: sports pause are like number one on the charts, but
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: if you go by the episodes, if you click on
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: top episodes that you guys, like all three of your
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: episodes are always living in the top ten, like every week.
- 1:09:03Speaker 7: Yeah, it's it's been. It's been cool to see.
- 1:09:05Speaker 11: Like at first when we were up there, it was
- 1:09:07Speaker 11: it was almost like surreal.
- 1:09:09Speaker 7: But shout out to ESPN for.
- 1:09:10Speaker 11: Helping us out right off the bat because they they
- 1:09:13Speaker 11: sent us that cease and desist letter telling us to
- 1:09:15Speaker 11: change the name of our podcast like week one that
- 1:09:18Speaker 11: we started doing it because it's part in my take
- 1:09:21Speaker 11: and so it's part in the interruption and first take combined.
- 1:09:26Speaker 2: I mean the creative genie.
- 1:09:28Speaker 11: Well, I didn't even know that's why we called it that,
- 1:09:31Speaker 11: honestly until ESPN sent us that letter. Then I looked
- 1:09:34Speaker 11: at the logo and our logo was just straight up
- 1:09:37Speaker 11: like we lifted that font. We just copied and pasted
- 1:09:40Speaker 11: the pardon and from the take and smashed them together.
- 1:09:44Speaker 7: And so they told us cease and assist.
- 1:09:46Speaker 11: And that was the best thing that could have happened
- 1:09:48Speaker 11: to us, because then I got to like, I wrote
- 1:09:51Speaker 11: them a letter back. I wrote them my own seasoned
- 1:09:53Speaker 11: desist letter, being like you need to cease and desist
- 1:09:56Speaker 11: sending us cease and desist letters like step off. And
- 1:10:00Speaker 11: then we started talking about that and the whole like
- 1:10:02Speaker 11: back and forth. Like I remember, Big Kat, I think
- 1:10:04Speaker 11: went on the next show and was like, fuck ESPN,
- 1:10:07Speaker 11: they don't want you to listen to this podcast. And
- 1:10:09Speaker 11: so it turned into a war back and forth between
- 1:10:12Speaker 11: our show and ESPN.
- 1:10:13Speaker 7: And that's good rating.
- 1:10:15Speaker 2: Great for you guys.
- 1:10:16Speaker 11: They fucked up by giving us all that, all that
- 1:10:18Speaker 11: material to work with, so now we're the bad boys
- 1:10:20Speaker 11: of podcast and getting getting legal action threatened against us.
- 1:10:23Speaker 11: So that was that was the best thing that could
- 1:10:26Speaker 11: have happened to the show, honestly, So it gave us
- 1:10:27Speaker 11: good buzz right off the bat.
- 1:10:28Speaker 2: So you guys aren't as original of you guys always
- 1:10:31Speaker 2: claimed to be.
- 1:10:31Speaker 7: We were, Dude, everyone's stealing from somebody else.
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: I know, bro, there's no like I feel like a
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: lot of people share this thought, but there's like there's
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: no originality really anywhere.
- 1:10:40Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:10:41Speaker 7: Yeah, no, I've I've listened to your show.
- 1:10:43Speaker 3: I guess I'm.
- 1:10:45Speaker 11: Really trying to like, you know, I love I love
- 1:10:48Speaker 11: I love you. Will you know that like going back
- 1:10:50Speaker 11: to your days when you were on Washington R word
- 1:10:52Speaker 11: like I respected your game.

- 1:10:58Speaker 2: pay the bills. Light Box Jewelry no free shoutouts to

- 1:11:27Speaker 1: even though they are grown in the lab that could

- 1:12:26Speaker 2: Did you respect my game?
- 1:12:28Speaker 7: Nate?
- 1:12:29Speaker 2: Nate tries to talk to me now like we're boys,
- 1:12:30Speaker 2: and I'm pretty sure Nate used to talk shit on me.
- 1:12:32Speaker 7: No, I will I guarantee you he did.
- 1:12:34Speaker 11: Nate talks shit on everybody, Yeah, everyone, that's kind of
- 1:12:37Speaker 11: his thing.
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: There's like this I and anytime I see him. I'm
- 1:12:40Speaker 1: like trying to bridge that because that's my own that's
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: my own internal therapy that I need to have with
- 1:12:44Speaker 1: myself that I can't hold my guard up against somebody
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: that I know talked a little shit at once upon
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: a time, because there's always like that hit list of like,
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: oh I remember you used to talk shit on me.
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: It's hard to like remove yourself from the identity of
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: being a football player. But yeah, I'll see Nate. Are
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: we trying to get you back on the other the
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: Commanders Year ten? And I'm like, no, note not for you, motherfucker.
- 1:13:04Speaker 11: Yeah, well do it for me then, Like I did.
- 1:13:06Speaker 11: I did appreciate your game back in the day because
- 1:13:08Speaker 11: you were you were a captain, you were a defensive
- 1:13:11Speaker 11: captain after being were you undrafted.
- 1:13:13Speaker 2: Yeah that's great. He knew that. I did. I think
- 1:13:16Speaker 2: he knew that. I appreciate you giving me the opportunity.
- 1:13:18Speaker 11: To that's wild, that's crazy, like that doesn't happen. So
- 1:13:22Speaker 11: I yeah, I always respected your game. I I hated
- 1:13:25Speaker 11: having to cheer for Kirk Cousins. I absolutely hated it.
- 1:13:28Speaker 7: Why dude, you you know you know exactly what do
- 1:13:33Speaker 7: you do you think that Kirk Cousins is a fun
- 1:13:35Speaker 7: quarterback to root for.
- 1:13:37Speaker 2: What do you mean by fun quarterback? Like?
- 1:13:40Speaker 7: What's fun about cheering for Kirk?
- 1:13:41Speaker 2: He's gonna pull I pulled for the boy Kirk.
- 1:13:43Speaker 7: You pulled for him?
- 1:13:44Speaker 2: Oh? Absolutely.
- 1:13:45Speaker 11: I just got so frustrated watching him because he would
- 1:13:49Speaker 11: he would show glimpses of being great, but then he
- 1:13:51Speaker 11: was always like so safe, and it was it was
- 1:13:55Speaker 11: crazy how much he was like he had he had
- 1:13:57Speaker 11: the R words in a prediction where they had to,
- 1:14:00Speaker 11: you know, choose a whole franchise tag thing on him,
- 1:14:03Speaker 11: and we mishandled that for sure.
- 1:14:04Speaker 7: But he's just he's so frustrating to watch. I think.
- 1:14:07Speaker 2: But right, you said it. You said it.
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: He had the R words and such a predicament, but
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: the R words had him in a predicament as well.
- 1:14:14Speaker 2: Yeah, Like they would always tag him. Like I remember
- 1:14:17Speaker 2: we were golfing and uh, he was talking about the
- 1:14:21Speaker 2: he was talking about potentially holding out, but it was
- 1:14:22Speaker 2: never a thought on his mind.
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: He say, I don't want to because obviously, like I'm
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: trying to like help be a leader, and like you
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: don't want your quarterback not being a camp because you're
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: trying to hold out on something, but he basically knew
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: he was already franchise tag. They talked about franchise tagging
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: in the next year. Let's just say for this example,
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: it was like around twenty five million a year, right,
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: But the r words Bruce basically the way that they
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: would negotiate to say, hey, we'll give you seventy five
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: million dollars for three years and we'll give you fifty guaranteed.
- 1:14:49Speaker 1: And Kirk's like, why would I do that? I know
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: I'm gonna make fifty guaranteed based on the franchise tag,
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: Like that's a dumb move, Like that's not smart for me.
- 1:14:56Speaker 1: Now there are like theories out there, like and I
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: don't know personally to where he would kind of play
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: more safe ball because you got to protect your numbers
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: because essentially you're gonna go to the market.
- 1:15:05Speaker 2: But at the end of the day, like you're you're stuck.
- 1:15:08Speaker 1: You're stuck in the middle of the fans and then
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: the boys and then playing your game because you got
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: to be selfish. But it's like the most selfless game
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: to play, and you're always like in the middle of that,
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: and it's like also has off for kind of like
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: being in Sam Bradford, like Kirk, somebody who gets fully
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: guaranteed contracts.
- 1:15:24Speaker 2: All the time. Yeah, the ball's always in his court
- 1:15:25Speaker 2: and he bets on himself.
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: So I root for that because I know my man
- 1:15:29Speaker 1: puts in an insane amount of work at corny as
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: he can be at times like and like you play
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: it safe, you see glances of greatness like the man
- 1:15:37Speaker 1: like he gets after. I see the work that he
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: puts in, so and I know kind of like the
- 1:15:41Speaker 1: predicament he gets put in with whether it's all the
- 1:15:43Speaker 1: contracting and he's not somebody who always talks publicly like
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: he keeps everything close to the vest where everybody else
- 1:15:49Speaker 1: can kind of control the narrative and can control kind
- 1:15:51Speaker 1: of what's said about him, and he could. He's just
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: got to take it to the chin. So that's why
- 1:15:55Speaker 1: I pull for him.
- 1:15:56Speaker 11: Okay, that makes complete sense, And I think I'm talking.
- 1:16:00Speaker 11: I'm coming out just strictly from a fan rooting for
- 1:16:03Speaker 11: a team point of view. As far as an individual,
- 1:16:05Speaker 11: he seems like a very nice guy and a good guy.
- 1:16:08Speaker 11: And from a business standpoint, he's done a great job,
- 1:16:10Speaker 11: Like he is awesome at getting paid money to play
- 1:16:13Speaker 11: football maybe the best ever you look at if you
- 1:16:18Speaker 11: look at straight up talent to money, to being in
- 1:16:22Speaker 11: the right place at the right time, betting on yourself
- 1:16:25Speaker 11: in all the right circumstances. I think Kirk Cousins is
- 1:16:27Speaker 11: the best money earner in the history of the NFL,
- 1:16:31Speaker 11: I AI everything.
- 1:16:32Speaker 7: So I don't begrudging for that.
- 1:16:34Speaker 11: I'm talking about like strictly from a fan point of view,
- 1:16:36Speaker 11: I feel like he's the worst type of quarterback to
- 1:16:38Speaker 11: root for sometimes because he's so safe and he's also
- 1:16:42Speaker 11: he's the guy that will get you to the playoffs
- 1:16:45Speaker 11: and just be he'll be good enough to be like
- 1:16:48Speaker 11: I think we could win a super Bowl if everything's
- 1:16:50Speaker 11: perfect around Kirk, Like he's that guy that he's good
- 1:16:54Speaker 11: enough to actually win you a super Bowl, and then
- 1:16:57Speaker 11: it's just it's never gonna happen. And so that's frustrating
- 1:17:00Speaker 11: from a fan standpoint, to be just that good, to
- 1:17:02Speaker 11: not be great and not be bad, that's the worst
- 1:17:05Speaker 11: place to be as a fan sometimes, Like I've accepted
- 1:17:08Speaker 11: as a Washington commander that I'm going to never be
- 1:17:12Speaker 11: happy truly with my football team ever.
- 1:17:15Speaker 2: And that's kind of a good feeling.
- 1:17:17Speaker 11: Like I'd almost rather be in that place than to
- 1:17:19Speaker 11: have all this false hope and then just get it
- 1:17:22Speaker 11: snatched away from a year after year after year, like
- 1:17:24Speaker 11: Charlie Brown kicking the football.
- 1:17:25Speaker 7: Like I'm a loser.
- 1:17:27Speaker 11: I'm a big loser and I'm never going to be
- 1:17:29Speaker 11: a winner and I'm fine with that, and and it's
- 1:17:31Speaker 11: very comforting, like being at peace with that.
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: It's easy to it's easier to just play that route
- 1:17:36Speaker 1: knowing you're going to be disappointed.
- 1:17:37Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah, So there's no expectation to get hurt.
- 1:17:39Speaker 7: Zero expectations.
- 1:17:40Speaker 11: Like I go into NFL Sunday, I'm like, I just
- 1:17:43Speaker 11: hope we don't get embarrassed today.
- 1:17:44Speaker 7: That'd be cool.
- 1:17:45Speaker 11: Okay, we lost to the Lions, but pretty decent second
- 1:17:48Speaker 11: half though, That's fine. Like I don't get as emotionally
- 1:17:50Speaker 11: involved as I used to in the team.
- 1:17:52Speaker 7: And part of that is the way that it's been
- 1:17:54Speaker 7: managed for a while.
- 1:17:55Speaker 11: You got to see a little bit of that up close,
- 1:17:57Speaker 11: and what like a dysfunctional organization it can be sometimes.
- 1:18:00Speaker 7: Uh. And then part of it is just you know,
- 1:18:02Speaker 7: I'm numb from all the losing.
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: Yeah, I think it's it feels good for me because
- 1:18:06Speaker 1: I could freely kind of talk about it, you know
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: what I mean. People are like, hey, with the Commanders
- 1:18:10Speaker 1: bringing back, it's like, I mean, I don't know, I
- 1:18:12Speaker 1: know I've said stuff, so I would be surprised if
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: I'm if I'm back there.
- 1:18:15Speaker 11: It's funny because like that's one team that you know,
- 1:18:19Speaker 11: people that used to play for different organizations in the NFL,
- 1:18:22Speaker 11: they usually like you, they talk respectfully about them, and
- 1:18:25Speaker 11: they say what a great time they had, and like
- 1:18:27Speaker 11: nothing but class from this guy, this guy, this guy.
- 1:18:29Speaker 11: And then when it's about the Commanders, people just be like, yeah,
- 1:18:32Speaker 11: that's that's a weird place to play football, bro.
- 1:18:35Speaker 1: And I actually I have a hard time with it
- 1:18:38Speaker 1: because I was there for five years, longer than any
- 1:18:40Speaker 1: team I've played on where I feel like I'm more
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: part of the I'm more part of Raider Nation and
- 1:18:44Speaker 1: Titans Titans fan base and stuff like that because I
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: was there for five years. That's where I got my
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: That's where I got all my opportunities, captain I got.
- 1:18:53Speaker 2: I love that locker room.
- 1:18:54Speaker 1: Like I enjoyed that locker room the most because that
- 1:18:57Speaker 1: was the time where I felt most invested in football
- 1:18:59Speaker 1: to where how are we gonna get better? This next
- 1:19:01Speaker 1: year because we have some pieces in place so where
- 1:19:04Speaker 1: we can make some noise type of thing. And then
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: it sucks because from the organizational standpoint, it's just such
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: a mess. I mean everybody, you talk about it all
- 1:19:12Speaker 1: the time, like everybody sees it.
- 1:19:13Speaker 2: So it's hard to like, I don't know, it's hard.
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: To like playboth things because I would love to just
- 1:19:18Speaker 1: fully claim them because that's where I got my start
- 1:19:21Speaker 1: in football.
- 1:19:22Speaker 11: Yeah, honest, and I mean disrespectfully, even though it's gonna
- 1:19:24Speaker 11: sound disrespectful. Psychologies and invests when you got named team captain,
- 1:19:29Speaker 11: where you like, what really really like me?
- 1:19:33Speaker 7: You guys vote for me?
- 1:19:34Speaker 2: Yeah? Absolutely.
- 1:19:34Speaker 1: I remember when Jay Gruden came in and interrupted our
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: linebacker meeting.
- 1:19:38Speaker 2: It was like, hey, will can I see you for
- 1:19:39Speaker 2: a second.
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: And then like I was walking down the hall and
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: I saw Tran, Williams, D'Angel hall, Niles, Paul, and Kirk
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: and we all go into his office and he kind
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: of tells us how we're gonna be captains. I remember
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: sitting there being like, Yo, this is the coolest fucking yeah,
- 1:19:52Speaker 1: this is the coolest like accolade, whatever you.
- 1:19:56Speaker 2: Want to call. This is the coolest moment in my
- 1:19:58Speaker 2: football career.
- 1:19:59Speaker 1: And it still is like being like voted a captain,
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: like buy your teammates and stuff like that, Like especially
- 1:20:04Speaker 1: like being an undrafted guy, Like there's times I look
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: back on them like I wish would have spoke.
- 1:20:08Speaker 2: Up and said, somewhere did a little.
- 1:20:09Speaker 1: I would have played more into that role, because there's
- 1:20:12Speaker 1: so much like when you're undrafted and you're like starting
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: and you're doing all this, there's a part of you
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: that whether you take somebody's job, like when I overtook
- 1:20:19Speaker 1: Keenan's job, where he was like a he was like
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: a stud, right, and everybody like rooted for the guys
- 1:20:23Speaker 1: who get drafted because they're all more in the team
- 1:20:25Speaker 1: than like the undrafted guy who kind of makes his
- 1:20:27Speaker 1: way in. There's a part of you that doesn't really
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: feel like you deserve to be there, and then like
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: when you are, it's just like I don't know, it
- 1:20:34Speaker 1: was a weird dynamic, but it was the coolest moment
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: in my life. Like it's something that I wish I
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: would have took more advantage of, like with like those guys,
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: because those were the times where I felt like most
- 1:20:43Speaker 1: optimistic about like winning games and.
- 1:20:45Speaker 2: Like actually feeling like I had influence on a team.
- 1:20:47Speaker 7: Yeah, you guys, you made the playoffs, right.
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: Just one second, there you go, my uh my firstborn
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: she's she's getting a little fussy back there. I don't
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: know if the MIC's are picking it up, but I
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: need my wife to go ahead and take her on
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: a walk.
- 1:20:59Speaker 7: You're in big time mode.
- 1:21:00Speaker 11: Yeah, you went like head over heels into that life.
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: Yeah, no, I have, but yeah, that was the whole
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: captain thing was like, it's it's been the best moment
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: of my career.
- 1:21:11Speaker 7: Yeah, that's very cool.
- 1:21:12Speaker 11: I have to imagine like knowing that your teammates voted
- 1:21:14Speaker 11: for you too, like, wow, this is not something I
- 1:21:17Speaker 11: ever expected. And that was The defense was pretty good,
- 1:21:20Speaker 11: Like we had a we were all right. We had
- 1:21:22Speaker 11: a good team though, Like I like that team. That's
- 1:21:24Speaker 11: I think when I first started to realize that Kirk
- 1:21:28Speaker 11: was that that guy that was good and maybe not
- 1:21:33Speaker 11: the guy that would I'm never going to see a
- 1:21:35Speaker 11: super Bowl out of Kirk.
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: Yeah, because I want to ask you, like, what was
- 1:21:38Speaker 1: the last time you've actually gotten optimistic and felt like
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: I'm gonna emotionally invest in this season with the with
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: the whether.
- 1:21:43Speaker 2: It's the R words, the the F, the ft or
- 1:21:46Speaker 2: the c's. Yeah.
- 1:21:48Speaker 11: Probably last week in the third quarter and Carson wentz
- 1:21:51Speaker 11: through a touchdown pass, I was like, this is the guy.
- 1:21:53Speaker 11: Like I know, I say, like, I don't care about
- 1:21:55Speaker 11: the team anymore. I'm not invested. Yeah, when they play well,
- 1:21:58Speaker 11: it's hard not to get like a little bit excited
- 1:22:00Speaker 11: about it. But in terms of like actual aspirations for
- 1:22:05Speaker 11: the team and like thinking that, damn, we're gonna be good.
- 1:22:09Speaker 7: It might have been your.
- 1:22:10Speaker 2: Team after the you like that you're going into the
- 1:22:13Speaker 2: next year.
- 1:22:13Speaker 11: Yeah, it might have been your It might have been
- 1:22:15Speaker 11: your team before that. RGIE three's rookie year. RGIE three.
- 1:22:20Speaker 2: Yeah, this is.
- 1:22:21Speaker 11: Gonna sound cool. ARG three changed my life straight up.
- 1:22:24Speaker 11: He changed my life. He made me love football again. Really,
- 1:22:26Speaker 11: I had started doing the thing where I like, I
- 1:22:28Speaker 11: check out and stopped paying as much attention to UH,
- 1:22:32Speaker 11: to the Washington our words and UH. I was just
- 1:22:35Speaker 11: thinking to myself, like, Okay, this team is never gonna
- 1:22:37Speaker 11: be good, it's never gonna be fun. I hate Dan Snyder,
- 1:22:39Speaker 11: you know the whole thing. I was like, I'm done,
- 1:22:41Speaker 11: I'm done. I can't support this guy. The draft ARG
- 1:22:43Speaker 11: three and I was like, this dude, this dude can
- 1:22:47Speaker 11: fucking ball. This guy plays football in a way that
- 1:22:49Speaker 11: like makes me like a little rush of blood to
- 1:22:52Speaker 11: the head, you know. And I went to go see
- 1:22:54Speaker 11: his first game in New Orleans at the Superdome and
- 1:22:57Speaker 11: he just lit it on fire, playing football in a
- 1:22:58Speaker 11: way that you had never seen in the NFL, at
- 1:23:00Speaker 11: least since like Michael Vick. But it looked like he
- 1:23:03Speaker 11: was a better passer than Mike Vick was when he
- 1:23:05Speaker 11: first got to the NFL, and I was like, this
- 1:23:08Speaker 11: guy's gonna win me multiple super Bowls.
- 1:23:10Speaker 7: At halftime of that game, I.
- 1:23:11Speaker 11: Was like, it was so cool because he's got some
- 1:23:14Speaker 11: ties to the city of New Orleans, so they like
- 1:23:16Speaker 11: him down there.
- 1:23:17Speaker 7: And I was walking through the.
- 1:23:18Speaker 11: Concourse of the Superdome and people were like coming up
- 1:23:22Speaker 11: to me, Saints fans. I was wearing my Brandon Lloyd
- 1:23:24Speaker 11: authentic Washington Redskins jersey, which I think I'm the only
- 1:23:28Speaker 11: person in the history of the world to buy Brandon Lloyd.
- 1:23:31Speaker 11: We got left to check that. I don't think that
- 1:23:32Speaker 11: has ever been sold. They sold one and it was
- 1:23:35Speaker 11: to me, and there were people in full Saints skier
- 1:23:38Speaker 11: coming up to me being like, you got a quarterback
- 1:23:41Speaker 11: and like hugging me and high fiving me and shit,
- 1:23:43Speaker 11: and I felt like I was on top of the world.
- 1:23:45Speaker 7: I was like, yeah, I did that, Yeah, my team
- 1:23:47Speaker 7: did that.
- 1:23:48Speaker 11: And so he made me love football again. That's when
- 1:23:49Speaker 11: I started to write about football again. Was that year
- 1:23:52Speaker 11: twenty twelve, and it got me back into sport. I
- 1:23:55Speaker 11: started the Twitter account, I started blogging about it and shit,
- 1:23:58Speaker 11: and it was because RG.
- 1:23:59Speaker 7: Three made me love foot again.
- 1:24:00Speaker 11: And then halfway through that season hurts his MCL. Then
- 1:24:05Speaker 11: Kirk comes in against the Browns. Then it's always from
- 1:24:08Speaker 11: that point on, it was like a back and forth.
- 1:24:09Speaker 7: Are you an RG three guy or a Kirk guy?
- 1:24:12Speaker 11: But that really set me that season, at least that
- 1:24:15Speaker 11: first like eight game stretch.
- 1:24:16Speaker 7: I thought I was gonna be.
- 1:24:17Speaker 11: Like we got our Tom Brady, Like I'm gonna I'm
- 1:24:20Speaker 11: gonna be Hank, I'm gonna be the kid at the
- 1:24:21Speaker 11: parade with like a sigh and being like, yeah, thirty
- 1:24:24Speaker 11: seven years old, seven rings in your face, everybody, you
- 1:24:27Speaker 11: know that didn't.
- 1:24:29Speaker 2: Happen seven years old. Waiting on an RG three auto.
- 1:24:31Speaker 7: I'm still waiting on an RG three interview.
- 1:24:33Speaker 2: He keeps he's such a tease. Well, has he not
- 1:24:36Speaker 2: been on a part of my take?
- 1:24:37Speaker 11: No, he keeps We DM each other all the time,
- 1:24:40Speaker 11: and he like deems the main account too. And I'm like,
- 1:24:41Speaker 11: when we're gonna get you on the show, and he
- 1:24:43Speaker 11: tells me when he's gonna be in town and then
- 1:24:45Speaker 11: he ghosts me.
- 1:24:45Speaker 7: I get constantly ghosted by RG. Three.
- 1:24:47Speaker 2: Oh, that's not a good look.
- 1:24:49Speaker 7: If not, No, it's because there's like rumors too.
- 1:24:51Speaker 2: Of like Shanahan was more of a cousin's guy.
- 1:24:53Speaker 1: Yeah, fans were an RG guy and there was that
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: back and board because I wasn't there the year.
- 1:24:57Speaker 2: That he was like his rookie year.
- 1:24:59Speaker 1: Yeah, came in like when he was going through when
- 1:25:01Speaker 1: he was coming off of the ACL and they would
- 1:25:04Speaker 1: like go back and forth in games like Kirk would
- 1:25:06Speaker 1: like light it up and RG. They wanted him to
- 1:25:09Speaker 1: be the guy he was the year before so badly
- 1:25:11Speaker 1: like make some magic shake.
- 1:25:13Speaker 7: Yeah, he kind of fucked up and and he screwed
- 1:25:15Speaker 7: himself over because he did the like all in for
- 1:25:17Speaker 7: Week one thing.
- 1:25:18Speaker 11: It sounds like it's the most Russell Wilson thing ever
- 1:25:22Speaker 11: that wasn't done by Russell Wilson, like the day after
- 1:25:24Speaker 11: he tore his ACL, or very soon thereafter, he signed
- 1:25:27Speaker 11: like an endorsement or started an ad campaign with Gatorade,
- 1:25:31Speaker 11: being like, all in for week one, I'm gonna chronicle
- 1:25:33Speaker 11: my return for my ACL.
- 1:25:35Speaker 7: And then he was.
- 1:25:36Speaker 2: Getting hurt in the playoffs, so it's already January, so.
- 1:25:38Speaker 11: He's like he's telling everyone, I'm going to be playing
- 1:25:41Speaker 11: week one. There's no way that you can know that
- 1:25:44Speaker 11: when you get surgery, Like, this is a thing called
- 1:25:46Speaker 11: a rehab process that you have to go through. And
- 1:25:48Speaker 11: just because you say it and it's branded and you're
- 1:25:51Speaker 11: doing like pull ups in a Gatorade commercial, that doesn't
- 1:25:53Speaker 11: mean you can play.
- 1:25:53Speaker 7: Football on it, no doubt.
- 1:25:54Speaker 11: So he came back week one and he was very
- 1:25:55Speaker 11: obviously not ready for it because of his but he
- 1:25:58Speaker 11: had to do it because he told every one he
- 1:26:00Speaker 11: was getting paid to be back by Gatorade, so he
- 1:26:03Speaker 11: had to come back.
- 1:26:04Speaker 7: Then.
- 1:26:04Speaker 11: Yeah, then there was the whole Kirk Robert thing, back
- 1:26:06Speaker 11: and forth, back and forth. And then that that coaching
- 1:26:09Speaker 11: staff so out of the out of the young hotshot
- 1:26:12Speaker 11: guys that are now head coaches. I love it when
- 1:26:15Speaker 11: they put up that graphic on like Fox. It's like
- 1:26:17Speaker 11: Kyle Shanahan was on that team, Sean McVay, floor Will Compton,
- 1:26:25Speaker 11: Kevin O'Connell, like, all these guys are, Mike McDaniel, they
- 1:26:28Speaker 11: were all in and around. I just why can't we
- 1:26:31Speaker 11: just get one of those guys, you know, I know,
- 1:26:34Speaker 11: any one of those guys.
- 1:26:35Speaker 1: I know they couldn't climb the like you know that
- 1:26:38Speaker 1: was that was Gruden's gig. And then they go from
- 1:26:40Speaker 1: position coach, they get a coordinator job elsewhere when somebody
- 1:26:44Speaker 1: when the coordinator leaves, and then they want to bring
- 1:26:45Speaker 1: the position coach with him.
- 1:26:47Speaker 11: It's not really you can blame the Washington organization for
- 1:26:50Speaker 11: a lot of stuff. That one is not that fair
- 1:26:53Speaker 11: to do. Because Jay Gruden was a coach and they
- 1:26:55Speaker 11: had to They couldn't keep Kyle Shanahan around after.
- 1:26:58Speaker 7: They fired his dad, right, that would be awkward.
- 1:27:00Speaker 11: Yeah, right, So they had to fire him and Kyle
- 1:27:03Speaker 11: had his guys that he brought with him. We couldn't
- 1:27:05Speaker 11: keep McVeigh around because he got hired.
- 1:27:08Speaker 1: Rick Shannan could have chows out of him, and he
- 1:27:10Speaker 1: ended up taking Lafleur.
- 1:27:13Speaker 11: Right, Yeah, Lafleur and m and McDaniel Yeah, So I
- 1:27:16Speaker 11: guess firing Mike Shanahan was the worst.
- 1:27:20Speaker 7: That was the worst move of all of.
- 1:27:22Speaker 11: Them, even though like at the time everybody was like, yes,
- 1:27:24Speaker 11: please fire Mike Shanahan because he he very clearly hated
- 1:27:27Speaker 11: coaching that team and hated the ownership, like he was
- 1:27:30Speaker 11: not going to stick around that relationship was it was toast.
- 1:27:33Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:27:33Speaker 7: So I guess if RG three doesn't do.
- 1:27:37Speaker 11: The gatorade ad campaign all in for week one and
- 1:27:40Speaker 11: he takes his time rehabilitating himself, then he becomes RG
- 1:27:44Speaker 11: three again. Mike Shanahan signs contract extension, retires, hands team
- 1:27:51Speaker 11: to Kyle, who then has all of his guys like
- 1:27:54Speaker 11: as his coordinator.
- 1:27:55Speaker 1: Probably a couple years, a year or two, but mcvay's
- 1:27:58Speaker 1: going to do his thing, like out of that whole bunch, Like,
- 1:28:00Speaker 1: you gotta say, McVeigh has been the more successful one
- 1:28:02Speaker 1: because he got Super Bowl.
- 1:28:03Speaker 7: Yeah when he was around.
- 1:28:05Speaker 11: You were around McVeigh, right, Yeah, Were you like this
- 1:28:08Speaker 11: this guy is different or were you like this guy's annoying?
- 1:28:11Speaker 1: Oh no, No, everybody knew that that that crew was different.
- 1:28:14Speaker 1: I mean they were like these young guns that we all,
- 1:28:16Speaker 1: I mean, only they can answer that but we all
- 1:28:18Speaker 1: thought they were just hyped up on that or all
- 1:28:20Speaker 1: day long because they they'd be saying up all night,
- 1:28:22Speaker 1: like excited about all the play designs that they have.
- 1:28:24Speaker 1: You see him, They always had the most energy every
- 1:28:26Speaker 1: morning early in the morning trying to like figure it
- 1:28:28Speaker 1: out there. They were always excited about everything. Yeah, always
- 1:28:31Speaker 1: like two excited. But they're like young guns in the
- 1:28:33Speaker 1: in the game. Yes, like under Shanahan. Then some you
- 1:28:36Speaker 1: know went with Kyle the others are working with Green
- 1:28:39Speaker 1: was like a big wigg see that was coming from Cincinnati. Uh,
- 1:28:42Speaker 1: but yeah, those dudes were always like all juiced up,
- 1:28:44Speaker 1: always thinking ball a the time. I gotta be on
- 1:28:46Speaker 1: scout team and mcvavid mcvaviid companies. He's like, well, I'm
- 1:28:50Speaker 1: gonna tell you how we want you to read this,
- 1:28:52Speaker 1: Like I'm sure he'll shake you up anyway because it's
- 1:28:54Speaker 1: Jordan Reid, but we need you to like fall for
- 1:28:56Speaker 1: this play on Jordan Reid.
- 1:28:57Speaker 2: Jordan Reed was just toast me every day practice. Yeah,
- 1:29:01Speaker 2: but hey, we want to see how you play this one.
- 1:29:03Speaker 2: And then of course I get fucking shook or something.
- 1:29:05Speaker 1: I can't cover him, and they're like good, good, I
- 1:29:07Speaker 1: think this will work for the game.
- 1:29:09Speaker 11: That's that's interesting. So was it who is it to
- 1:29:12Speaker 11: give confidence too? Was he to give confidence to Jordan
- 1:29:15Speaker 11: or was this giving I.
- 1:29:16Speaker 2: Get to give confidence to me at all?
- 1:29:17Speaker 1: Like if anything, I'm just imprinting on my brain that
- 1:29:19Speaker 1: I can't cover people.
- 1:29:20Speaker 11: Yes, So are they telling you, like get a little
- 1:29:22Speaker 11: bit shook on purpose?
- 1:29:24Speaker 2: Yeah, they'll say play he play this like they'll play say, hey,
- 1:29:27Speaker 2: play inside of three, but get a little head up
- 1:29:28Speaker 2: on them because they want their guy to make the
- 1:29:31Speaker 2: read day. If they get head up, you got leverage
- 1:29:33Speaker 2: on them to go inside.
- 1:29:34Speaker 7: So it's like telling them, hey, you can do this
- 1:29:36Speaker 7: when this happens.
- 1:29:37Speaker 11: Yeah, and then coach catch home with some swag and
- 1:29:40Speaker 11: I'm like, god, damn it, will you fucking suck?
- 1:29:42Speaker 7: What are you doing on this cover?
- 1:29:43Speaker 6: Now?
- 1:29:44Speaker 2: They won't really great.
- 1:29:45Speaker 1: They won't judge you on a practice squad film outside
- 1:29:47Speaker 1: of like effort, you know what I mean.
- 1:29:49Speaker 2: So you would never get that. Now.
- 1:29:51Speaker 1: My linebacker coach at the time, who doesn't know what's
- 1:29:53Speaker 1: going on, like, what are you doing? Take away the inside?
- 1:29:55Speaker 1: Like we go over this all the time, and I'm like,
- 1:29:56Speaker 1: they want me to get beat inside.
- 1:29:58Speaker 2: But Jordan. That's another one. Just stud but just couldn't
- 1:30:03Speaker 2: stay on the field.
- 1:30:03Speaker 7: Yeah, that was That was tough. And at the end
- 1:30:05Speaker 7: of his career, I was like, dude, please don't come back.
- 1:30:08Speaker 7: Don't like I'm.
- 1:30:09Speaker 11: Worried about you. Like he keep healthy. I'm scared that
- 1:30:13Speaker 11: you're going to get another concussion when you come back
- 1:30:15Speaker 11: out there.
- 1:30:15Speaker 7: He was. He was incredible though when he was playing.
- 1:30:17Speaker 2: Bro he was such a study. Those years were good.
- 1:30:20Speaker 1: This is basically turned into like a deep dive on
- 1:30:22Speaker 1: the Washington Our words.
- 1:30:24Speaker 2: Yeah, David, this is a good conversation.
- 1:30:25Speaker 11: You're like the only person that I can commiserate about
- 1:30:28Speaker 11: this team with because, like I bring up bring it
- 1:30:30Speaker 11: up to Nate, and Nate just starts foaming at the
- 1:30:32Speaker 11: mouth and just won't let me talk.
- 1:30:34Speaker 7: Because he's just so angry about everything with that team.
- 1:30:36Speaker 11: I find little bits of joy here and there and
- 1:30:38Speaker 11: little things that I like to remember.
- 1:30:40Speaker 2: Yeah, we had.
- 1:30:41Speaker 1: Our shot in sixteen, and we underperformed that year. Yeah,
- 1:30:44Speaker 1: because that was when the winning in game against New York.
- 1:30:47Speaker 1: They were already out of it. The whole wide receiver
- 1:30:49Speaker 1: corps is down in Miami on a boat that week,
- 1:30:51Speaker 1: and we still end up losing to them when we
- 1:30:53Speaker 1: knew every play that they're running Eli. If you look back,
- 1:30:56Speaker 1: Eli literally is doing all of his audibles at the
- 1:30:59Speaker 1: line of scrimmage. And if it was the mask, if
- 1:31:02Speaker 1: he was saying a mascot's name, it was a run.
- 1:31:04Speaker 2: If he's saying the city, it's like a pass.
- 1:31:06Speaker 1: And literally he's saying this at the line of scrimmage,
- 1:31:09Speaker 1: and we still lost the game, Like we still are.
- 1:31:12Speaker 2: Like we still couldn't stop what was happening.
- 1:31:13Speaker 1: And afterwards he's like, he's like, hey, h hey, will
- 1:31:17Speaker 1: if are you able to predict all this stuff that's
- 1:31:20Speaker 1: going on, Like can you understand everything that's being said?
- 1:31:21Speaker 1: I was like, yeah, if you guys gonna beat the
- 1:31:22Speaker 1: Cowboys next week, Like Sean Lee will pick.
- 1:31:24Speaker 2: Up on that in a heartbeat.
- 1:31:26Speaker 1: But we still lost that game, Like we very much
- 1:31:29Speaker 1: underperformed that year in sixteen.
- 1:31:30Speaker 11: Yeah, so you're ten loading, physically, feeling good as good.
- 1:31:36Speaker 2: As I can, which is always pretty good.
- 1:31:39Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:31:39Speaker 2: Really, you know what I mean? It sounds real good.
- 1:31:41Speaker 7: Yeah, Like, can I give you just a little bit
- 1:31:44Speaker 7: of coaching?
- 1:31:44Speaker 2: Yeah, I would love to. I'm open all feedbacks.
- 1:31:47Speaker 7: Just say I'm in the best shape of my life,
- 1:31:49Speaker 7: like it's not that hard.
- 1:31:49Speaker 1: Well, just but I think that's the mistake that happens.
- 1:31:51Speaker 1: Like I don't want to be one of those guys
- 1:31:53Speaker 1: who's always like going into training camp and saying that
- 1:31:55Speaker 1: it's like this is the best I've ever felt on
- 1:31:57Speaker 1: my body, because if you fuck up so stupid, like
- 1:31:59Speaker 1: I hate guy say that, and if.
- 1:32:01Speaker 7: You fuck up, they're like, this is the best he's
- 1:32:03Speaker 7: gonna look.
- 1:32:03Speaker 1: Yeah, Like I'd rather just be honest because at the
- 1:32:06Speaker 1: end of the day, like you're like, if everyone's been
- 1:32:09Speaker 1: following me, I can't just sit there and post diet
- 1:32:11Speaker 1: starts tomorrow and just all this stuff and hey, I'm
- 1:32:13Speaker 1: in the greatest shape of my life, Like can I cover.
- 1:32:14Speaker 2: Punts and and be an asset?
- 1:32:16Speaker 7: Absolutely, it's the bod looking, that's the dad bod looking.
- 1:32:18Speaker 2: Yeah, it looks like just like that, Like what you said, is.
- 1:32:21Speaker 7: It better than it was in that picture that I
- 1:32:22Speaker 7: always repost.
- 1:32:23Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:32:24Speaker 1: Absolutely, Like I've been getting after it the last couple
- 1:32:26Speaker 1: of days, you know what I mean, Like we're trying,
- 1:32:29Speaker 1: we're trying to get this thing alive.
- 1:32:30Speaker 7: Yeah, I like that. I appreciate that. Just say like, uh,
- 1:32:33Speaker 7: I'm I'm in decent shape.
- 1:32:35Speaker 11: But I can play my way back into shape if
- 1:32:37Speaker 11: you really need me.
- 1:32:38Speaker 1: Exactly, over the last three years, I've proved that I
- 1:32:41Speaker 1: can finesse training camp and come in at the drop
- 1:32:43Speaker 1: of a hat and play if need be.
- 1:32:45Speaker 7: Yeah, you're like Brett Favre. Yeah, minus the welfare fraud.
- 1:32:48Speaker 7: Probably don't.
- 1:32:49Speaker 11: I don't know what you've done. I do not endorse
- 1:32:52Speaker 11: what Will Compident has done with any welfare.
- 1:32:54Speaker 2: Stealing from the poor. Okay, that's good. Yeah, yeah, that's good.
- 1:32:57Speaker 11: I think on part of my take the other day,
- 1:32:59Speaker 11: Hank said something about like stealing from the poor, and
- 1:33:01Speaker 11: I was like, wait, that's like Robin Hood right.
- 1:33:04Speaker 7: Oh wait, no, it's actually reverse. It's complete. He's a
- 1:33:06Speaker 7: reverse Robin Hood.
- 1:33:07Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah, hey, sweetheart, you can take ruinal walk.
- 1:33:13Speaker 11: Will does shift into dad mode. He like you hear
- 1:33:16Speaker 11: the baby crying?
- 1:33:17Speaker 2: You just do you hear it? Like as you're talking,
- 1:33:18Speaker 2: do you hear like do you feel it's picking it up? Yeah?
- 1:33:21Speaker 2: It's picking it up.
- 1:33:21Speaker 11: Yeah, But like I can tell that you're like in
- 1:33:24Speaker 11: tune with your with your child.
- 1:33:25Speaker 7: Do you hear the sound You're like? Danger?
- 1:33:28Speaker 2: Yeah? Danger?
- 1:33:28Speaker 1: And also like you know, hey, we're trying to I'm
- 1:33:30Speaker 1: trying to feed you, like you're really you're really hurting
- 1:33:32Speaker 1: us here.
- 1:33:33Speaker 7: Like taking food out of her mouth.
- 1:33:34Speaker 1: Yeah, she's taking food out of her own mouth. Bryany, Billy,
- 1:33:38Speaker 1: you were going to say something earlier. We never got
- 1:33:40Speaker 1: to that.
- 1:33:41Speaker 3: I have no idea what you're talking about.
- 1:33:43Speaker 2: Remember he was gonna speak up and say something.
- 1:33:45Speaker 7: Yeah he was. I mean, that's happens.
- 1:33:47Speaker 1: Like, how do you like describe Billy, because Billy's obviously
- 1:33:50Speaker 1: grown in the in the barstel part of my take world,
- 1:33:53Speaker 1: Like he's I feel like he's your guys's property.
- 1:33:55Speaker 7: Yeah, he's our dog. Billy's our dog.
- 1:33:57Speaker 5: I mean I don't read free like a human one day,
- 1:34:00Speaker 5: I mean I won't be in the back end interview
- 1:34:02Speaker 5: one day, hopefully.
- 1:34:03Speaker 7: I mean it in the best way possible.
- 1:34:04Speaker 11: Billy is like, Billy's like a great dog that we
- 1:34:07Speaker 11: have that occasionally misbehaves. But I was telling you earlier
- 1:34:11Speaker 11: that it's like I look at myself. I blame myself
- 1:34:14Speaker 11: when Billy misbehaves sometimes because it's because I haven't done
- 1:34:17Speaker 11: a good enough job as a dog owner. So like
- 1:34:20Speaker 11: I left it in its create for too long, it
- 1:34:23Speaker 11: gets separation anxiety. It starts like chewing at the bars.
- 1:34:27Speaker 11: It starts, you know, scratching itself until it gets a rash. Yeah,
- 1:34:30Speaker 11: sort of thing. So I look at I blame myself first.
- 1:34:32Speaker 11: And Big Cat and I have very different roles in
- 1:34:35Speaker 11: terms of our parenting, our dog parenting. Where Big Cat
- 1:34:39Speaker 11: is like he's he's the father, the strict father, like
- 1:34:42Speaker 11: I know what's best for you, Just do what I say, yea.
- 1:34:45Speaker 2: And I'm like the mother.
- 1:34:47Speaker 11: I'm the artsy mom that like, you know, the Mortroy
- 1:34:51Speaker 11: pajamas around the house and smells like Petulli And I'm
- 1:34:55Speaker 11: always playing my weird records and dancing and trying to
- 1:34:58Speaker 11: extract the creative side of Billy.
- 1:35:00Speaker 7: And I'm like, look at her beautiful boy, Look look.
- 1:35:02Speaker 2: What he drew. And you're trying to bridge the gap
- 1:35:04Speaker 2: between father and son.
- 1:35:05Speaker 11: Yeah, I'm like, I'm like, look at look at what
- 1:35:06Speaker 11: her son drew. Big Cat, isn't this beautiful.
- 1:35:08Speaker 7: He's like, that's a fucked up house, Like the house
- 1:35:10Speaker 7: doesn't have a door.
- 1:35:11Speaker 2: Yeah, what is he doing?
- 1:35:12Speaker 11: And I'm like, I think it's a great I think
- 1:35:13Speaker 11: he did a great job in terms of effort, you know.
- 1:35:16Speaker 11: So we have different roles.
- 1:35:17Speaker 7: I think they both bring different sides out of Billy.
- 1:35:21Speaker 3: That wasn't patronizing at all.
- 1:35:24Speaker 7: Complement of yeah, I love Billy, I do love Bill.
- 1:35:27Speaker 11: I think that Macardosing has actually done a good job
- 1:35:28Speaker 11: of letting Billy get out there.
- 1:35:31Speaker 7: More and let Billy like cook long form you know.
- 1:35:33Speaker 2: Yeah, long game.
- 1:35:34Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean, macro Dosing's been pretty awesome because there
- 1:35:38Speaker 5: was basically a place where I could start putting more
- 1:35:40Speaker 5: footwork and be able to contribute more than my role
- 1:35:44Speaker 5: in part of my take where it's you know, you
- 1:35:46Speaker 5: you're a bench player and you're just trying to get
- 1:35:48Speaker 5: and make plays where you can. But Macardosing has been
- 1:35:51Speaker 5: great because you know, I've been able to actually put
- 1:35:53Speaker 5: in work.
- 1:35:54Speaker 7: He's a starter.
- 1:35:54Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, so it's it's fun. If you'd listened to
- 1:35:57Speaker 5: an episode, you might know that.
- 1:35:58Speaker 2: But so when part of my take started.
- 1:36:03Speaker 1: Talk about that, because you came from the PFT comments
- 1:36:06Speaker 1: or world, you're in part of my take, you guys
- 1:36:08Speaker 1: blow up, like what's that cool?
- 1:36:11Speaker 7: It was like being named team captain. That's what it
- 1:36:14Speaker 7: was like for me.
- 1:36:15Speaker 1: But it's gotta be like like just a huge I mean,
- 1:36:20Speaker 1: I listened to your beyond the blog or behind the
- 1:36:23Speaker 1: blog with KFC, and you go from like writing and
- 1:36:26Speaker 1: like being hype about fifty grand to do like what
- 1:36:29Speaker 1: you love to do, and now you're pft with part
- 1:36:32Speaker 1: of my take. And you guys are like this massive brand.
- 1:36:35Speaker 1: Like to be honest, like when I was getting introduced
- 1:36:38Speaker 1: to bar so like I thought it for like when
- 1:36:39Speaker 1: I was in college, I thought you guys were like
- 1:36:40Speaker 1: the chid, Like you guys were like one of the same.
- 1:36:43Speaker 2: And then also it would always throw me off, like
- 1:36:44Speaker 2: PMT and PTI.
- 1:36:46Speaker 1: I was like, oh, I thought these were these dudes
- 1:36:47Speaker 1: like I always did the dude with sunglass.
- 1:36:49Speaker 11: We got sued, Yeah, because it was it was confusing
- 1:36:51Speaker 11: for people.
- 1:36:52Speaker 1: But talk about like that transition and how that kind
- 1:36:55Speaker 1: of blew up for you.
- 1:36:55Speaker 2: I mean it was.
- 1:36:57Speaker 7: It was cool.
- 1:36:57Speaker 11: I was down in Austin and I didn't know whether
- 1:36:59Speaker 11: or not I I could podcast or not.
- 1:37:02Speaker 7: I'd done a few things.
- 1:37:03Speaker 11: I did this thing It's Serious for like two episodes,
- 1:37:06Speaker 11: and then they offered me serious offered me a bag
- 1:37:09Speaker 11: to do my weekly show there called the Steamer Room.
- 1:37:11Speaker 2: What kind of bag were talking?
- 1:37:12Speaker 11: We're talking like I think it was seventy five bucks.
- 1:37:15Speaker 11: A month something like that.
- 1:37:17Speaker 1: Yeah, I thought he was gonna say something. No, they
- 1:37:20Speaker 1: offered me a bag that Barcelol came in and competed.
- 1:37:22Speaker 7: I remember when when I got the email.
- 1:37:24Speaker 11: I got the email for seventy five bucks an episode
- 1:37:26Speaker 11: when the vice president. I could probably look it up
- 1:37:28Speaker 11: actually and see what the exact number was, but it
- 1:37:30Speaker 11: was like it was a wildly disrespectful number that they
- 1:37:35Speaker 11: that they tried to give me for it. And I
- 1:37:38Speaker 11: was like, well, you can go fuck yourself, Like even
- 1:37:40Speaker 11: I know that this is just insane.
- 1:37:42Speaker 7: And so then Big Cat hit me up.
- 1:37:44Speaker 11: He's like, yeah, we're getting this money from the Churning
- 1:37:47Speaker 11: Group and they're gonna invest in Barstool and we're trying
- 1:37:50Speaker 11: to grow some podcasts. I want to co host the
- 1:37:52Speaker 11: show with you. I was like, yeah, okay, that sounds good.
- 1:37:54Speaker 11: Let's do it. Wait, you guys are offered me a
- 1:37:55Speaker 11: full time job. Okay, let's sign let's do it. And
- 1:37:59Speaker 11: the funny thing about podcasting is like, yeah, it was
- 1:38:01Speaker 11: pretty successful right at first.
- 1:38:03Speaker 7: We had a nice little we had a great launch
- 1:38:05Speaker 7: of the podcast.
- 1:38:06Speaker 11: It was no, it was never a doubt in my
- 1:38:08Speaker 11: mind that it was going to work. After we sat
- 1:38:09Speaker 11: down and record the very first episode.
- 1:38:11Speaker 7: I knew it was going to work.
- 1:38:12Speaker 11: But as you gain like a little bit of notoriety
- 1:38:14Speaker 11: and a little bit of like, you know, people in
- 1:38:16Speaker 11: the media are like talking about you and shit, and
- 1:38:17Speaker 11: you're it's very clear that you're making an impact on
- 1:38:20Speaker 11: the sports media landscape even from day one. But at
- 1:38:23Speaker 11: the end of the day, like podcasting is a very
- 1:38:25Speaker 11: nerdy thing, So there's nothing glamorous, you know this about podcasting.
- 1:38:29Speaker 2: Yeah, it's like I.
- 1:38:29Speaker 11: Was still sitting down in front of my computer and
- 1:38:32Speaker 11: like talking into a webcam for like an hour a day,
- 1:38:36Speaker 11: and that was my there's nothing cool to feel like,
- 1:38:38Speaker 11: you don't feel cool while you do it. I like
- 1:38:41Speaker 11: how I feel after the show because it's fun and
- 1:38:42Speaker 11: it makes me laugh. But like the level of like
- 1:38:47Speaker 11: internet fame that you're getting at one point does not
- 1:38:51Speaker 11: correspond at all in my mind to like what the
- 1:38:53Speaker 11: actual nuts and bolts of the job was.
- 1:38:55Speaker 7: So I never felt like I was getting like massive
- 1:38:58Speaker 7: and big.
- 1:38:58Speaker 11: Or whatever, because at the end of the day, I
- 1:39:00Speaker 11: still have to go sit down in my tiny little
- 1:39:02Speaker 11: office in my rent assisted townhouse in Austin that I
- 1:39:06Speaker 11: got at the time with Leroy behind me, like looking
- 1:39:09Speaker 11: at the back of my foot as I'm trying to
- 1:39:11Speaker 11: make jokes, you know, Dick jokes about college basketball on
- 1:39:14Speaker 11: a podcast for an hour. So it was a very
- 1:39:17Speaker 11: humbling job to have to do all the time, because
- 1:39:19Speaker 11: if you don't, if you have, if you have a
- 1:39:20Speaker 11: bad podcast, you feel like shit afterwards. Like there's a
- 1:39:23Speaker 11: level of prep that you have to put into it,
- 1:39:25Speaker 11: a level effort that you have to put into it.
- 1:39:28Speaker 7: Billy knows prep.
- 1:39:29Speaker 3: A lot of prep.
- 1:39:30Speaker 11: Su Yeah, and so it's podcasting in a weird way,
- 1:39:33Speaker 11: does keep you It does keep you humble.
- 1:39:36Speaker 2: Yeah, because you see it.
- 1:39:37Speaker 1: You'll see the reaction and it's it's kind of like
- 1:39:40Speaker 1: the same thing like when when we were in a podcast,
- 1:39:42Speaker 1: I don't feel like it's up the par It would
- 1:39:44Speaker 1: always remind me like not playing a good football game.
- 1:39:47Speaker 1: You want to get to the next game or the
- 1:39:48Speaker 1: next pod bad so you can just you can like
- 1:39:51Speaker 1: feel better about yourself or like right that.
- 1:39:53Speaker 2: Wrong that you did, be like I'm gonna show up
- 1:39:54Speaker 2: next game.
- 1:39:55Speaker 11: Have you ever had to like delete a pod or
- 1:39:57Speaker 11: record a pod that you're like, we're not putting this
- 1:39:58Speaker 11: one out.
- 1:40:00Speaker 1: Uh, We've had to delete a pod based on the
- 1:40:02Speaker 1: guests not wanting it out there, which sucked.
- 1:40:05Speaker 7: That usually just gets people to talk about it more.
- 1:40:07Speaker 2: Yeah it was Thomas Rhett. Okay, yeah it was Thomas Rhett.
- 1:40:10Speaker 1: We like, we did this pod and there are some
- 1:40:12Speaker 1: things that he didn't want out there but you can
- 1:40:14Speaker 1: find on Google anyway.
- 1:40:15Speaker 2: It was like not one of the things of sponsorship, but.
- 1:40:18Speaker 1: We could have edited, we could have corrected that, edited
- 1:40:21Speaker 1: that out, and then it was kind of like since
- 1:40:22Speaker 1: it was out there and the sponsors thing was happened,
- 1:40:24Speaker 1: there's like something else he kind of didn't want in there.
- 1:40:26Speaker 1: So it's like, hey, just take down the whole take
- 1:40:28Speaker 1: down the whole episode. That's like a it's more of
- 1:40:30Speaker 1: like an operational like frustrating thing because you can't it's
- 1:40:34Speaker 1: hard to like explain that to your fans at the time,
- 1:40:36Speaker 1: and you're not trying to you.
- 1:40:38Speaker 7: Know, we had an issue.
- 1:40:40Speaker 1: You're not trying to like you're not trying to shoot
- 1:40:42Speaker 1: on the guests because you know it comes from their
- 1:40:45Speaker 1: like media team, you know what I mean.
- 1:40:47Speaker 2: So it's like a it's like a weird dynamic. But
- 1:40:49Speaker 2: have we ever not ran a certain pod episode episode zero,
- 1:40:54Speaker 2: like zero, like our first pod ever is triple zero
- 1:40:57Speaker 2: because we tried running two. Yeah, right, right, right right.
- 1:41:04Speaker 1: But yeah, I don't think we've ever had to delete
- 1:41:07Speaker 1: delete an episode.
- 1:41:08Speaker 7: I'm looking up right now. I'm not being disrespectful.
- 1:41:10Speaker 11: I'm trying to look up what that contract was that
- 1:41:12Speaker 11: serious offered me for the steam room.
- 1:41:14Speaker 2: You can see it.
- 1:41:15Speaker 11: You can look it up still in my email. Yeah,
- 1:41:16Speaker 11: I don't delete any what's your email.
- 1:41:18Speaker 7: At right now? You're in box?
- 1:41:20Speaker 2: I think over four thousand.
- 1:41:21Speaker 7: Yeah, those are rookie numbers. We gotta get this numbers.
- 1:41:23Speaker 2: What's yours?
- 1:41:24Speaker 11: I think I'm at like seventy three thousand, yeah, seventy
- 1:41:27Speaker 11: three thousand emails? Yes, and then I've got two. I'm
- 1:41:31Speaker 11: gonna drink some of my sea right now? Do you
- 1:41:33Speaker 11: get a bev lokiv oky?
- 1:41:35Speaker 7: Billy would like a bet?
- 1:41:36Speaker 2: I've been pounding the cups ends? Or can we just
- 1:41:40Speaker 2: get like a warring bowl?
- 1:41:42Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 1:41:43Speaker 2: Come on, I'm joking. I don't Joe, Yeah, like, I'm joking.
- 1:41:47Speaker 7: I'm halfway joking about Billy.
- 1:41:49Speaker 1: Like, I was very aware that you answered that question earlier,
- 1:41:51Speaker 1: and then I went directly back to something with PFT like,
- 1:41:54Speaker 1: I'm just like trying to play into the out of Billy,
- 1:41:57Speaker 1: like how you give like an insightful answer, And then
- 1:41:58Speaker 1: I just looked back at PFT and just ask him
- 1:42:00Speaker 1: about pardon my take, and Billy's like, all right, I guess.
- 1:42:04Speaker 2: I guess he just doesn't give a fuck.
- 1:42:06Speaker 7: I love.
- 1:42:06Speaker 3: I know you're still salty about the pants.
- 1:42:08Speaker 5: I would like to actually apologize while where in front
- 1:42:11Speaker 5: of the camera because I kind of feel bad about that.
- 1:42:14Speaker 1: That is honestly exactly what I wanted to hear, because
- 1:42:17Speaker 1: there was like, I'm all about the camaraderie and the
- 1:42:20Speaker 1: banter and having fun.
- 1:42:21Speaker 2: But I felt like he was a trade was a
- 1:42:25Speaker 2: delicious Yeah.
- 1:42:26Speaker 1: I felt like may crossed me because I did like
- 1:42:28Speaker 1: I was fully bought into, like and this would be
- 1:42:30Speaker 1: good for Billy, like this is the route to go,
- 1:42:33Speaker 1: and you crossing me like that. I was just like, damn,
- 1:42:36Speaker 1: I was in a position, really, I was in a
- 1:42:39Speaker 1: position where really snaked me.
- 1:42:41Speaker 7: I felt a little bit trayed by you.
- 1:42:43Speaker 5: Why because you were trying to get me to do
- 1:42:45Speaker 5: it to press to Dave.
- 1:42:47Speaker 3: Yeah, and doubt that was just a bad move.
- 1:42:50Speaker 7: You think about the numbers that would have done Billy,
- 1:42:52Speaker 7: that you had torn Dave's jeans pants.
- 1:42:54Speaker 2: Like at the end of the day, like Dave's all
- 1:42:57Speaker 2: about contract.
- 1:42:57Speaker 1: We literally stood him in front of us and I said, hey, Dave,
- 1:42:59Speaker 1: think about this content idea.
- 1:43:01Speaker 2: And we literally said what we were gonna do.
- 1:43:02Speaker 1: We just didn't say it was gonna be I thought
- 1:43:04Speaker 1: it was a bad screenlighted if.
- 1:43:05Speaker 2: You knew it was gonna go viral.
- 1:43:06Speaker 1: He's like, yeah, absolutely, And so I said, like, yo,
- 1:43:09Speaker 1: you're good to go. If you go and get the
- 1:43:11Speaker 1: head man the top of the mountain, go after the
- 1:43:13Speaker 1: head of the whole machine, You're gonna do numbers.
- 1:43:16Speaker 7: I know.
- 1:43:17Speaker 5: But at the same time, I kind of felt that
- 1:43:19Speaker 5: you're trying to get me into a situation that wasn't
- 1:43:21Speaker 5: gonna be good.
- 1:43:22Speaker 2: Which that's in your own head.
- 1:43:23Speaker 3: It might be, it was in my own head.
- 1:43:27Speaker 7: It was probably would have gotten really would have.
- 1:43:30Speaker 11: Gotten shipped on by Dave if you had so someone
- 1:43:33Speaker 11: had to get getten shipped on by Dave in the
- 1:43:35Speaker 11: name of contest.
- 1:43:35Speaker 1: Yeah, you wouldn't have actually gotten shipped on by Dave. Like,
- 1:43:37Speaker 1: hey you're suspended.
- 1:43:38Speaker 11: Yeah, It's it's tricky though, like a lot of people,
- 1:43:41Speaker 11: you know, I don't know if they're if they're not
- 1:43:44Speaker 11: like one of the original people at Barceol.
- 1:43:46Speaker 7: They're always afraid of getting shipped on by Dave.
- 1:43:48Speaker 11: But what they don't understand sometimes is getting shipped on
- 1:43:51Speaker 11: by Dave could be the best thing to happen to you,
- 1:43:53Speaker 11: right because it puts you, It puts you in a
- 1:43:56Speaker 11: massive spotlight for a while. And even though there will
- 1:43:58Speaker 11: be some people that like absolutely roast you.
- 1:44:01Speaker 2: And because they're pro day like, it's like the the
- 1:44:03Speaker 2: it's like the Dave stoolies.
- 1:44:05Speaker 11: Yeah, so there's there's the guy Travis is what we
- 1:44:09Speaker 11: call him, not Travy.
- 1:44:10Speaker 7: When he posted that TikTok when.
- 1:44:11Speaker 11: You first started working at barstool, it was like Travis's
- 1:44:14Speaker 11: for the boys. When he was like showing his like
- 1:44:16Speaker 11: day one, he.
- 1:44:19Speaker 7: Got roasted by it by Dave because he was like,
- 1:44:22Speaker 7: what the fuck is this?
- 1:44:23Speaker 11: This is the worst thing I've ever seen. And I
- 1:44:25Speaker 11: talked to him. I was like, dude, I know it
- 1:44:27Speaker 11: sucks right now. It's like it's very bad for you,
- 1:44:29Speaker 11: but it's gonna be good because one Dave knows who
- 1:44:32Speaker 11: you are. He doesn't know who anybody else is in
- 1:44:34Speaker 11: the entry class. And now you have a thing. You're
- 1:44:37Speaker 11: a guy and people associate something with you because of
- 1:44:40Speaker 11: that very cringey video that you put out, But it's
- 1:44:43Speaker 11: still it'll end up being a good thing. It'll be
- 1:44:45Speaker 11: a positive thing for you later. But like a lot
- 1:44:47Speaker 11: of people need to realize that in the moment, it's
- 1:44:50Speaker 11: hard to actually have that recognition because it feels like
- 1:44:53Speaker 11: everyone's coming after you. But when Dave, when Dave attacks you,
- 1:44:56Speaker 11: it can be very very beneficial if you just if.
- 1:44:58Speaker 7: You play it the right way and you wait it out.
- 1:45:00Speaker 1: Right, if you play into and understand that it's not
- 1:45:03Speaker 1: as serious as what you're thinking it is, because another
- 1:45:05Speaker 1: moment's gonna happen, it's gonna go by, and you're right,
- 1:45:08Speaker 1: you get associated with something, which if you can play
- 1:45:10Speaker 1: into that character like that's kind of the genius behind
- 1:45:12Speaker 1: the creative right, and not get too wrapped up like
- 1:45:15Speaker 1: because you can get mentally go down a rabbit hole
- 1:45:18Speaker 1: by everybody attacking you, thinking like it's like a very
- 1:45:21Speaker 1: personal feeling versus just knowing if you can like separate
- 1:45:24Speaker 1: yourself from that person who's on social media and just
- 1:45:26Speaker 1: know like this is this is the game.
- 1:45:29Speaker 2: If you can learn to like play the game, you're
- 1:45:32Speaker 2: in the driver's seat.
- 1:45:33Speaker 3: It's a hard mental juxtaposition.
- 1:45:35Speaker 7: It is.
- 1:45:36Speaker 3: It messes with people's brains.
- 1:45:38Speaker 2: But I was I think we were on KFC Radio
- 1:45:41Speaker 2: talking about this.
- 1:45:42Speaker 1: I'm like, I feel like it's hard for you guys
- 1:45:44Speaker 1: at times because all of you are around each other,
- 1:45:46Speaker 1: like twenty four to seven in the office, and some
- 1:45:49Speaker 1: people can feel a type of way on a personal
- 1:45:51Speaker 1: level that's outside of the internet. That could that can
- 1:45:54Speaker 1: you guys are all around each other like proximity.
- 1:45:56Speaker 11: Yeah, if you're isolated, then it definitely gets more in
- 1:45:59Speaker 11: your own head. Yeah, things are going bad because you're
- 1:46:01Speaker 11: all that you have. It's like you and then the
- 1:46:03Speaker 11: screen that you look at to get validations. Sometimes have
- 1:46:06Speaker 11: you reached the point do you do you read all
- 1:46:08Speaker 11: the comments?
- 1:46:09Speaker 2: I read.
- 1:46:09Speaker 1: I read comments to look for like more content to
- 1:46:12Speaker 1: play off of. I like I've explained it on the
- 1:46:14Speaker 1: pot before, like when I would look at comments playing
- 1:46:17Speaker 1: ball versus looking at comments now to where people try
- 1:46:19Speaker 1: and say anything about playing ball, Like I've I've been
- 1:46:22Speaker 1: able to compartmentalize it because I would get wrapped up
- 1:46:24Speaker 1: in it. But I feel like I've figured out I
- 1:46:28Speaker 1: have a good.
- 1:46:28Speaker 2: Separation from it.
- 1:46:29Speaker 1: I guess, yeah, I guess you could say I do
- 1:46:31Speaker 1: read comments, but it's more it's more like, how can
- 1:46:35Speaker 1: I play into the that the internet to like get
- 1:46:38Speaker 1: some lass with people.
- 1:46:39Speaker 7: That's a healthy relationship to have.
- 1:46:41Speaker 1: Right because as long as you like take it what's
- 1:46:43Speaker 1: being said bad about you, I can be an example
- 1:46:45Speaker 1: for people who feel like they get shipped on and like, oh,
- 1:46:47Speaker 1: he here's how he deals with and it's funny and
- 1:46:49Speaker 1: it seems like it's not as serious as what everybody
- 1:46:51Speaker 1: makes it because it's not.
- 1:46:54Speaker 3: Our Twitter replies counts comments.
- 1:46:57Speaker 7: Yeah, a comment kind of good question.
- 1:47:00Speaker 1: You put out a tweet, you see the comments, like, yeah,
- 1:47:02Speaker 1: you could be looking for like it sucks if you
- 1:47:05Speaker 1: put out something then you're reading the replies because you're
- 1:47:07Speaker 1: seeing what people are saying about it. Yeah, Like I
- 1:47:11Speaker 1: like to look at the replies and yeah, I'll be
- 1:47:13Speaker 1: in a chat with JP. I'll be in a chat
- 1:47:15Speaker 1: with JP and or he'll bring my attention to one
- 1:47:17Speaker 1: of the comments.
- 1:47:18Speaker 2: Because it's not like you can see. It's not you
- 1:47:20Speaker 2: can keep up with every comment.
- 1:47:21Speaker 1: You might throw off a tweet and for the next
- 1:47:23Speaker 1: few minutes, like you're high. You're like you're like, oh,
- 1:47:25Speaker 1: this would be a funny one and then you want
- 1:47:27Speaker 1: to see the initial comments. But after a while it's like, hey,
- 1:47:29Speaker 1: why didn't you respond to this comment? Did you not
- 1:47:31Speaker 1: see And it's like, look, you can't see everything.
- 1:47:33Speaker 7: Yeah, it's not healthy to see everything either.
- 1:47:35Speaker 2: Yeah, you get you get wrapped up in it.
- 1:47:37Speaker 11: And then people attest their entire like self worth to
- 1:47:39Speaker 11: the comments, liking them, and then the second they don't
- 1:47:42Speaker 11: like you just crushes you.
- 1:47:43Speaker 2: It would just you're not gonna please everybody.
- 1:47:45Speaker 7: Never never.
- 1:47:46Speaker 5: Also, the psychology that unhappy people are more vocal so
- 1:47:50Speaker 5: like even if the happy people aren't gonna comment said
- 1:47:55Speaker 5: that before.
- 1:47:56Speaker 1: No, I said, that's well said, oh yeah, I mean
- 1:47:58Speaker 1: the people are gonna vocalize more.
- 1:48:00Speaker 7: Yeah, yeah, I.
- 1:48:00Speaker 3: Mean that's just like psych one oh one?
- 1:48:03Speaker 7: Is that psych one on one? Billy?
- 1:48:05Speaker 3: All the happy people aren't All the happy people.
- 1:48:07Speaker 7: Are being like fascinating being around Billy.
- 1:48:09Speaker 11: You know what he said this morning? Uh this don't worry, Billy,
- 1:48:12Speaker 11: this isn't bad. We're just like watching a lot of
- 1:48:15Speaker 11: students and people around town. And I said to Bill,
- 1:48:18Speaker 11: I was like, it's a very good looking university here,
- 1:48:22Speaker 11: like it's very attractive.
- 1:48:23Speaker 7: Everybody's attractive here.
- 1:48:25Speaker 11: And Billy was like, oh, like low key, the reason
- 1:48:29Speaker 11: that there's so many hot chicks is in the South
- 1:48:33Speaker 11: is because of the Civil War and how like demographics
- 1:48:37Speaker 11: shifted when a bunch of dudes went to fight and
- 1:48:39Speaker 11: got killed.
- 1:48:40Speaker 3: And Bill will Eastern Europe.
- 1:48:43Speaker 7: Yes, Billy's like an anthropologist on set.
- 1:48:45Speaker 3: Yeah, no, seriously, if you look.
- 1:48:47Speaker 1: At it in a macrodosing episode right now, like is
- 1:48:50Speaker 1: this it?
- 1:48:51Speaker 11: Yeah, this dude, Billy is like an anthropologist where he
- 1:48:55Speaker 11: sees like the deep reasons behind all these uh from
- 1:49:00Speaker 11: centuries ago exactly, and now it might be complete and
- 1:49:03Speaker 11: total bullshit, but then he believes it.
- 1:49:06Speaker 5: But like, that is something that's true in Eastern Europe,
- 1:49:09Speaker 5: and you could apply the same stuff to the Southern units.
- 1:49:13Speaker 11: Tell me about why people why women are more attractive
- 1:49:15Speaker 11: in Eastern years.
- 1:49:17Speaker 7: No, I'm curious. I'm being honest.
- 1:49:18Speaker 5: I don't know. Well, there's more of them. Yeah, it's
- 1:49:21Speaker 5: more like a numbers game.
- 1:49:22Speaker 7: Okay, so that traces back to World War two.
- 1:49:24Speaker 5: You're saying, I think so I read an article about
- 1:49:26Speaker 5: I can't cite it right now, I'm gonna get wrong
- 1:49:28Speaker 5: and I don't have to fact check myself.
- 1:49:30Speaker 2: You're right, you're right. Hey, what time. Are we at
- 1:49:34Speaker 2: JP al right?
- 1:49:35Speaker 1: Cool because we can just we could continue to ramble
- 1:49:37Speaker 1: all day long.
- 1:49:38Speaker 7: Yeah, for sure.
- 1:49:40Speaker 2: What question do I want to ask you?
- 1:49:44Speaker 7: Dude?
- 1:49:44Speaker 2: I have a tier talk. You guys want to do
- 1:49:45Speaker 2: tier talk or anything?
- 1:49:47Speaker 7: All right?
- 1:49:47Speaker 2: Here we go tear talk.
- 1:49:49Speaker 1: It's similar to like do you ever see like the
- 1:49:50Speaker 1: ESPN and like Bleacher Report and people do like Mount
- 1:49:54Speaker 1: Rushmore listened?
- 1:49:55Speaker 7: Bleacher Report is pretty good.
- 1:49:57Speaker 1: Yeah, they do like this thing called Mount Rushmore where
- 1:49:59Speaker 1: they're like do all their top stuff. And we kind
- 1:50:01Speaker 1: of saw from them and we were like, oh, how
- 1:50:02Speaker 1: can we do a list? And then instead of like four,
- 1:50:06Speaker 1: they're all kind of equivalent. You can kind of pick
- 1:50:08Speaker 1: them wherever and they're kind of on the same level.
- 1:50:10Speaker 1: We like to kind of tear it out one through three,
- 1:50:12Speaker 1: like one's got to be better than the.
- 1:50:13Speaker 7: You guys invented lists.
- 1:50:16Speaker 2: I wouldn't say invented.
- 1:50:17Speaker 1: We kind of saw it again, like from ESPNS and
- 1:50:19Speaker 1: like the the mainstream media, like when they do the
- 1:50:21Speaker 1: Mount Rushmore's and and uh, we just kind of thought
- 1:50:25Speaker 1: it'd be cool to do actual lists of tiering them.
- 1:50:27Speaker 7: I like that that's very novel com like doing.
- 1:50:29Speaker 1: Actual rankings versus being like, oh, here's the top ten,
- 1:50:32Speaker 1: like we want to say tier.
- 1:50:33Speaker 11: Okay, all right, so we do Should we do four
- 1:50:35Speaker 11: of one or what's your tier that you want to
- 1:50:37Speaker 11: talk about?
- 1:50:39Speaker 2: What's the subject. Yeah, I would love to do months.
- 1:50:42Speaker 7: Can I just do my four best months?
- 1:50:43Speaker 2: A level?
- 1:50:44Speaker 1: Oh no, no, no, you got a tier in one
- 1:50:46Speaker 1: through three. If you have an honorable mention, you have
- 1:50:48Speaker 1: an honorable mention. All right, so I'm three, Yeah, but
- 1:50:51Speaker 1: start at three going up to one. You can go first,
- 1:50:53Speaker 1: Billy can go second, I can go third. Wait, it's
- 1:50:55Speaker 1: not a draft where if you say one, I can't
- 1:50:57Speaker 1: say I agree with you.
- 1:50:58Speaker 2: Open conversation and our very confusing to me. No, it's
- 1:51:01Speaker 2: not just rank your top three months.
- 1:51:03Speaker 7: Top three months, number three, number three. I'm going to
- 1:51:07Speaker 7: go with July. I saw yours. I saw your three.
- 1:51:16Speaker 2: Yeah, Bill, Bill, you can you can share it.
- 1:51:19Speaker 3: You can share, Yeah, I was.
- 1:51:20Speaker 11: It's like a communist version of Mount Rushmore. Yeah whatever
- 1:51:23Speaker 11: whatever Mountain day chisels.
- 1:51:24Speaker 3: We share the one we can both.
- 1:51:27Speaker 2: Here's your list and like it's your personal list.
- 1:51:29Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm put in July.
- 1:51:30Speaker 2: No, hey, it's not your turn this down, Bill, Yeah,
- 1:51:34Speaker 2: calm down. You'd like to have.
- 1:51:36Speaker 1: Him have the floor the whole time so we can
- 1:51:37Speaker 1: explain himself. We don't give a reaction, and then.
- 1:51:39Speaker 7: Okay, so July number three.
- 1:51:41Speaker 11: Why reasoning I mean July is it's a great month.
- 1:51:45Speaker 11: It's it still has summer vacation vibes. To me, I
- 1:51:47Speaker 11: don't think as humans we get so fucked over.
- 1:51:50Speaker 7: We're grown up.
- 1:51:51Speaker 11: As kids, we're taught for the first eighteen sometimes to
- 1:51:54Speaker 11: twenty one years of her life basically that you get
- 1:51:57Speaker 11: off work all of July and August every year, and
- 1:52:01Speaker 11: then you become an adult and you're like, wait, well,
- 1:52:03Speaker 11: I gotta no, this is vacation, Like I'm not supposed
- 1:52:06Speaker 11: to be working. It's July that fucked me up for
- 1:52:08Speaker 11: a while when I entered the real world. It's got
- 1:52:11Speaker 11: you know, fourth of July great holiday. I associate July
- 1:52:14Speaker 11: with beaches, just taking trips.
- 1:52:16Speaker 2: Do not and I apolsize for interrupt to you.
- 1:52:19Speaker 1: But I'm thinking of JP and Jack's comments about New
- 1:52:22Speaker 1: Year's even about how it's such an overrated holiday, and
- 1:52:24Speaker 1: we were basically dating it back to like you grow
- 1:52:27Speaker 1: up with it in your Christmas break that it was
- 1:52:30Speaker 1: hype then yeah, but now that it's kind of like
- 1:52:32Speaker 1: you gotta kind of think about work the next day.
- 1:52:34Speaker 2: You don't actually have the next few days off.
- 1:52:35Speaker 11: Yeah, and then once you hit your thirties and the
- 1:52:37Speaker 11: hangovers last for like two days.
- 1:52:39Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:52:39Speaker 7: Then it's actually just like it's a bad holiday.
- 1:52:42Speaker 2: It's really bad high It's like you can't make it
- 1:52:44Speaker 2: to yeah night.
- 1:52:45Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:52:46Speaker 2: Yeah, I hate.
- 1:52:47Speaker 11: I'm not a fan. Ours two crowded. You have to
- 1:52:49Speaker 11: wait behind like five people to get a drink. It's
- 1:52:51Speaker 11: always overpriced. It sucks. So July number three. So I'm
- 1:52:55Speaker 11: going my number two right now, Yes, my number two
- 1:52:58Speaker 11: month in the world.
- 1:53:02Speaker 7: I'm going to go. I'm gonna do.
- 1:53:08Speaker 11: I like November. I'm a big November guy. It's not
- 1:53:12Speaker 11: too cold usually not a whole lot of snow. Thanksgiving
- 1:53:15Speaker 11: is my.
- 1:53:15Speaker 7: Personal I think it's my favorite holiday.
- 1:53:18Speaker 11: I love Wait, wait, what's your Thanksgiving? Thanksgiving might be
- 1:53:20Speaker 11: my favorite holiday.
- 1:53:22Speaker 7: I love it.
- 1:53:22Speaker 11: Just get together family friends. I love the food. I
- 1:53:26Speaker 11: love turkey. A lot of people hate on turkey, but yeah,
- 1:53:30Speaker 11: Thanksgiving is always always Austin. If you do a deep
- 1:53:33Speaker 11: fried turkey, that will make you love the entire month
- 1:53:35Speaker 11: of November.
- 1:53:36Speaker 7: So I'm gonna go. November number two.
- 1:53:38Speaker 11: We got college football cooking, we got NFL cooking. Like
- 1:53:41Speaker 11: you start to get the in the hunt graphics start
- 1:53:43Speaker 11: popping up in the NFL. Right around then the cornucopia
- 1:53:47Speaker 11: that they put on the score bug at the bottom
- 1:53:48Speaker 11: of the screen.
- 1:53:49Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:53:50Speaker 7: I love following the score bug. Guys.
- 1:53:52Speaker 11: Like the season's change and the months change, because October
- 1:53:55Speaker 11: you start to get like the.
- 1:53:56Speaker 7: Leaves falling on there.
- 1:53:57Speaker 11: You get one spooky weekend where it's like this jack
- 1:54:00Speaker 11: lanyard and maybe like a ghost or.
- 1:54:01Speaker 7: Something at the bottom.
- 1:54:03Speaker 11: Then you go into November and you get to cornicopia,
- 1:54:06Speaker 11: which I've never actually seen in person. A cornic copia,
- 1:54:08Speaker 11: it seems like a rather inefficient way to present food.
- 1:54:11Speaker 2: Yeah, you just dumps alusive thing that you've never actually saw.
- 1:54:14Speaker 2: It's kind of like Bigfoot.
- 1:54:15Speaker 7: Yeah yeah, but that's another thing that we're growing up to.
- 1:54:17Speaker 11: Like expect around Thanksgiving somebody's going to have a giant
- 1:54:21Speaker 11: wicker basket that's overflowing with an abundance of produce that
- 1:54:25Speaker 11: they're just gonna throw it on the table. It never happens,
- 1:54:27Speaker 11: but so I love following the Scorebug. Then we get
- 1:54:29Speaker 11: into December and you start to get to Christmas lights
- 1:54:34Speaker 11: around the Fox NFL Sunday thing and then after Christmas
- 1:54:37Speaker 11: you just get the snow falling. So that's every year.
- 1:54:40Speaker 11: It's the same and I love it. I love falling
- 1:54:42Speaker 11: it every year. So November November number two and then
- 1:54:46Speaker 11: number one, my number one month of all time.
- 1:54:51Speaker 7: I think we're in it right now, boys, I think
- 1:54:53Speaker 7: we're in it. I think it's September. Whoa.
- 1:54:55Speaker 11: I think September might be the strongest thing. Whoa because
- 1:54:58Speaker 11: it's Will's birthday. Yeah, and a lot of people saying
- 1:55:01Speaker 11: that if you're born in September, you basically have to
- 1:55:05Speaker 11: make it in professional sports because you're older than everybody
- 1:55:07Speaker 11: else in your grade, so you have a natural advantage.
- 1:55:09Speaker 11: Like I was born in January, so I was I
- 1:55:12Speaker 11: was doomed from the start.
- 1:55:13Speaker 7: I was never going to be an athlete.
- 1:55:14Speaker 1: You know, you're the kid, You're the kid where you're
- 1:55:16Speaker 1: in the grade and you don't have the peach fuzzy
- 1:55:18Speaker 1: yet coming in because you're like a few months later
- 1:55:20Speaker 1: and you kind of get made fun.
- 1:55:21Speaker 2: Of for, oh, you don't have beach fuzzy yet.
- 1:55:22Speaker 7: You didn't have peach fuzz I still don't have peach fuzs.
- 1:55:25Speaker 11: I only had like one armpit with hair in it
- 1:55:27Speaker 11: as it first started growing. Meanwhile, I shared, I was
- 1:55:30Speaker 11: next to my main man, Ali, that was in the
- 1:55:32Speaker 11: eighth grade locker room next to me after gym class,
- 1:55:35Speaker 11: and he had a full chest of hair and a
- 1:55:36Speaker 11: full beard eighth grade and he was like three hundred pounds,
- 1:55:39Speaker 11: maybe not three or maybe like two hundred and thirty,
- 1:55:42Speaker 11: still a big boy for that age.
- 1:55:44Speaker 7: And then it was me.
- 1:55:45Speaker 11: I was like one hundred and ten pounds in eighth grade,
- 1:55:47Speaker 11: only tiny bit of hair underneath one armpit. Standing next.
- 1:55:50Speaker 11: I was like, we're not the same human, but that's
- 1:55:52Speaker 11: what a September birthday will do for you. So yeah,
- 1:55:56Speaker 11: you're kind of like it's a system month for athletes,
- 1:55:58Speaker 11: but I think September is the strongest month.
- 1:56:01Speaker 7: You get the best weather.
- 1:56:02Speaker 11: I think it's not unbearably hot, but you still have summer.
- 1:56:05Speaker 7: Vibes to it.
- 1:56:06Speaker 11: Yeah, you have football that gets started, which is fantastic,
- 1:56:11Speaker 11: and then it starts to you start to feel the
- 1:56:14Speaker 11: autumn air come in as the season gets a little bit,
- 1:56:17Speaker 11: or as September gets a little bit you know, later
- 1:56:18Speaker 11: in the month.
- 1:56:19Speaker 7: So I think I'm gonna go September number.
- 1:56:21Speaker 2: One, and that seems like it's based around all football vibes.
- 1:56:24Speaker 7: Yeah, now that now that I'm thinking about it entirely.
- 1:56:27Speaker 2: Grade, you better make it in football likes. It's everything's
- 1:56:29Speaker 2: based around the football. I just live life on a
- 1:56:31Speaker 2: football calendar.
- 1:56:32Speaker 11: Sometimes we'll be like in the middle of like the
- 1:56:36Speaker 11: March badness in the n c Double A, or it'll
- 1:56:38Speaker 11: be like NBA playoffs and we'll be doing part of
- 1:56:41Speaker 11: my take and I'll just refer to it being the
- 1:56:42Speaker 11: off season right now. Big Ketill look at me like true,
- 1:56:46Speaker 11: He's like, dude, this is It's the NCUABLEA tournament happening
- 1:56:48Speaker 11: right now. This is one of the best times of
- 1:56:50Speaker 11: the year. And I do love the NCAA tournament. But
- 1:56:52Speaker 11: at the same time, like in the back of my head,
- 1:56:54Speaker 11: I'm like, no, we're in the off.
- 1:56:55Speaker 7: Season right now.
- 1:56:56Speaker 1: Yeah, we don't have to be doing this choosing it,
- 1:56:59Speaker 1: Billy brother, I choose same months in different tiers. Yeah,
- 1:57:04Speaker 1: and listen, this is your top three lists. It could
- 1:57:07Speaker 1: be the exact same if you want, you can say
- 1:57:09Speaker 1: the exact wording and say that you changed my life
- 1:57:11Speaker 1: with all those three picks.
- 1:57:11Speaker 5: I'm gonna go with all of them, so for three,
- 1:57:14Speaker 5: I think, okay for three, I'm gonna go with May
- 1:57:19Speaker 5: because May is when it all starts popping off. So
- 1:57:22Speaker 5: when you come out of like really come out of
- 1:57:23Speaker 5: the winter, it's when you appreciate the warm days the most.
- 1:57:27Speaker 3: It's the best for activities.
- 1:57:30Speaker 5: A little you know, sometimes it's little rainy, but it's
- 1:57:33Speaker 5: like the first like eighty degree days, first time you're
- 1:57:36Speaker 5: really coming out of the winter, and it's just great
- 1:57:38Speaker 5: for vibes. Everyone's buzzing in May. I do mean, think
- 1:57:41Speaker 5: about it. I like Billy's explanation.
- 1:57:43Speaker 7: Where it's the best month for activities. Yeah, I mean
- 1:57:47Speaker 7: he's he's got a point.
- 1:57:49Speaker 2: As much as I'm waiting on waiting for him to
- 1:57:50Speaker 2: say something that we can kind of laugh at, like
- 1:57:53Speaker 2: I'm on board here.
- 1:57:55Speaker 5: I mean, like you're you're cooped up all winter, May
- 1:57:57Speaker 5: comes out.
- 1:57:58Speaker 3: That's when it starts popping off.
- 1:58:00Speaker 7: Yeah, i'd say you.
- 1:58:02Speaker 2: Said popping off as your reason, I'd say, yeah, if.
- 1:58:05Speaker 11: We're doing a tier of like best months for activities,
- 1:58:07Speaker 11: I think that might be I would include I'd.
- 1:58:10Speaker 7: Say April in front of May. No, but life is
- 1:58:12Speaker 7: all about activities. Yeah, No, I know that.
- 1:58:14Speaker 11: I'm just saying April, I think is a better activity.
- 1:58:16Speaker 7: April showers, Yeah, little rainy, you don't like you don't
- 1:58:20Speaker 7: like dancing the rain.
- 1:58:21Speaker 1: Yeah, but like you know, just wetending on where you are,
- 1:58:23Speaker 1: you can still be cold in April.
- 1:58:24Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, a little.
- 1:58:26Speaker 7: True Chicago, it's gonna be cold in April.
- 1:58:29Speaker 1: April is not fun. Yeah in Chicago ship which you'll be.
- 1:58:33Speaker 1: We'll talk about that too.
- 1:58:35Speaker 5: Uh my second tier, I'm going with December just because
- 1:58:40Speaker 5: Christmas vibes.
- 1:58:42Speaker 1: Christmas still is still you know, Christmas is still king.
- 1:58:45Speaker 1: You know, Christmas is king, and we're saying it again, yeah,
- 1:58:47Speaker 1: which is great.
- 1:58:48Speaker 7: Merry Christmas.
- 1:58:49Speaker 3: I mean, like it's still number one. I mean we're saying.
- 1:58:52Speaker 11: Remember that we stopped entirely for like six years. You
- 1:58:55Speaker 11: can say, Mary, you get arrested. Now it's back baby,
- 1:59:00Speaker 11: Merry Christmas.
- 1:59:01Speaker 5: No, but like football is number one roll sports like Christmas,
- 1:59:06Speaker 5: and the holiday season of December is still number one overall.
- 1:59:10Speaker 2: Playoff times coming yeah, I do.
- 1:59:11Speaker 5: Like, No, that's when you enjoy winter. It's not when
- 1:59:14Speaker 5: it's like, oh this is going on for too long.
- 1:59:16Speaker 5: This is like first snows. This is when winter activities
- 1:59:19Speaker 5: are fun.
- 1:59:19Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:59:20Speaker 2: But December twenty sixth, Like I feel like you just
- 1:59:22Speaker 2: dive off a cliff.
- 1:59:23Speaker 3: Like that, but you got.
- 1:59:24Speaker 5: But the thing is, I was gonna butt in when
- 1:59:26Speaker 5: you guys are talking about New Year's Eve.
- 1:59:28Speaker 2: But New Year's Eve.
- 1:59:29Speaker 5: Like its whole purpose is to give you a little
- 1:59:31Speaker 5: life after Christmas. It gives you, it works you an
- 1:59:34Speaker 5: extra couple of days to be like, oh no, it's
- 1:59:36Speaker 5: not over. It's like between Christmas, gives you actually realize
- 1:59:39Speaker 5: how overrated it is.
- 1:59:40Speaker 2: Like, man, but yeah, you and keep this way.
- 1:59:43Speaker 5: But January first is when the letdown comes. Not December
- 1:59:46Speaker 5: twenty six you get some Bowl games December twenty Yeah,
- 1:59:49Speaker 5: December twenty sixth, you're like living it up, like you're like, oh,
- 1:59:51Speaker 5: we got something else coming and it's not all over.
- 1:59:54Speaker 7: You know, Billy was the.
- 1:59:55Speaker 2: Type of kid who showed off all of his Christmas gifts.
- 1:59:57Speaker 1: He just said, December twenty sixth, you live it up
- 2:00:00Speaker 1: like you know, we'd be going around showing off all
- 2:00:02Speaker 1: of us.
- 2:00:02Speaker 7: No, no, no, the best Christmas present you ever got, Billy, I.
- 2:00:05Speaker 2: Don't even remember. Did you wear your Christmas outfit your
- 2:00:08Speaker 2: parents got you?
- 2:00:08Speaker 5: Like this first day back in No, Well, we had
- 2:00:10Speaker 5: to try it on like that day, Like you get
- 2:00:13Speaker 5: something for Christmas, it was like, oh, you gotta try
- 2:00:14Speaker 5: it on.
- 2:00:15Speaker 3: Then you go put on your new whatever.
- 2:00:16Speaker 7: You definitely have like a favorite toy or favorite Christmas gift.
- 2:00:19Speaker 3: I'm trying to think.
- 2:00:22Speaker 5: I mostly just got like cleats and new like sports stuff.
- 2:00:26Speaker 2: You probably get the new in a like football video game.
- 2:00:29Speaker 3: Oh yeah, I mean Madden.
- 2:00:30Speaker 7: But you can't really show that off.
- 2:00:32Speaker 1: Yeah, Like you seem like a kid who didn't get
- 2:00:33Speaker 1: the video game right when it came out. You had
- 2:00:35Speaker 1: to like wait for all.
- 2:00:36Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 2:00:36Speaker 3: I always got Madden at Christmas. I never got it
- 2:00:38Speaker 3: in August.
- 2:00:39Speaker 11: Because your parents were probably like, we can dangle Madden
- 2:00:42Speaker 11: over his head and make him.
- 2:00:43Speaker 7: Behave make him be a good boy. Yeah for four months.
- 2:00:45Speaker 11: We get four months in good behavior out of Billy
- 2:00:47Speaker 11: because he's thinking about Madden, going.
- 2:00:49Speaker 5: Over to my friend's house playing the new Madden, being like, Oh,
- 2:00:51Speaker 5: I can't wait to play Superstar Mode, Like yeah, like
- 2:00:54Speaker 5: I'm gonna I'm gonna have like several different superstars, like
- 2:00:57Speaker 5: one quarterback, one linebacker, like sick.
- 2:01:00Speaker 11: We did have this debate on on macrodosing at one point,
- 2:01:03Speaker 11: and if you're listening in the car, right now with
- 2:01:05Speaker 11: maybe a child that is under the age of eleven
- 2:01:10Speaker 11: or so might want to might want to turn this
- 2:01:12Speaker 11: part off even twelve. But is is Santa Claus the
- 2:01:16Speaker 11: biggest conspiracy of all time? Like a conspiracy theory that's
- 2:01:19Speaker 11: actually real. Like every adult gets together and we're like,
- 2:01:22Speaker 11: we're gonna lie to every child, every child that's out there,
- 2:01:25Speaker 11: and be like, yo, there's a big, fat guy that's
- 2:01:28Speaker 11: going to reward you if you're good. Like that's that's
- 2:01:31Speaker 11: a literal conspiracy theory, And for some reason we're like, yeah,
- 2:01:34Speaker 11: it's cool to lie to every kid about this just trip.
- 2:01:37Speaker 2: I think that's a very good point.
- 2:01:38Speaker 1: I think there's a lot of like there's a lot
- 2:01:42Speaker 1: of unpacking with that one. Yeah, because I'm on board
- 2:01:44Speaker 1: with it, but I would hate to interrupt Billy's tear talk.
- 2:01:47Speaker 7: Okay, I'm sorry, Yeah.
- 2:01:47Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying, Like, that's a great I
- 2:01:49Speaker 1: think that's a great question that probably that probably deserves
- 2:01:51Speaker 1: like thirty minutes of our attention.
- 2:01:52Speaker 5: We mistrust the government because of Santa Claus.
- 2:01:55Speaker 11: That's the scars every kid, every kid has to go
- 2:01:57Speaker 11: through trauma and find out that every adult lied to them.
- 2:02:00Speaker 11: Their entire life that Fox kids up like they okay,
- 2:02:03Speaker 11: we'll get.
- 2:02:03Speaker 7: Your child's right there.
- 2:02:05Speaker 3: Are you gonna lie to your child?
- 2:02:06Speaker 2: Absolutely? We gotta have the Christmas vibes up. We needed
- 2:02:09Speaker 2: to be a good girl. Billy.
- 2:02:13Speaker 1: You know you want some bow j Angles. Billy my
- 2:02:17Speaker 1: number one, number one. So this is where I'm gonna
- 2:02:19Speaker 1: agree with PFT. I am a sucker for July number one.
- 2:02:24Speaker 1: July July fourth great holiday.
- 2:02:26Speaker 3: July is just.
- 2:02:27Speaker 5: Literally even though we don't have technically summer vacation anymore,
- 2:02:32Speaker 5: there's always summer Fridays. You know, you a lot of
- 2:02:35Speaker 5: people get all of July fourth week off, and you
- 2:02:38Speaker 5: know week low key take the last weekend week of
- 2:02:41Speaker 5: July off. You work remote, So it's goaded.
- 2:02:49Speaker 1: July is goaded, all right, mine, I will say my
- 2:02:55Speaker 1: Tier three, I share the same exact sentiment as Billy football.
- 2:03:01Speaker 1: I think, may you're again, you're coming out. We were
- 2:03:03Speaker 1: actually talking about the other day JP. He's horrified for
- 2:03:06Speaker 1: the winter to come in because that seasonal depression kicks
- 2:03:09Speaker 1: in where he gets starts super early. Like I think
- 2:03:11Speaker 1: you do, you go through the winter months. That's what
- 2:03:13Speaker 1: I think the benefit is about. Like living in the like,
- 2:03:16Speaker 1: I mean, Tennessee's kind of the Midwest, or like the
- 2:03:18Speaker 1: where you get all four seasons.
- 2:03:19Speaker 7: You're gonna people, real, man, how many people they'll know.
- 2:03:22Speaker 2: They all know him Midwest guys, it's all.
- 2:03:24Speaker 7: It's all people from like Indiana and Ohio.
- 2:03:26Speaker 11: They get so mad when people try to define what
- 2:03:29Speaker 11: the Midwest is.
- 2:03:29Speaker 2: They're like, fuck you, that's yea. Or when Virginia, like
- 2:03:33Speaker 2: when Virginia's like, oh, we're part of the South, Like, yeah, no,
- 2:03:36Speaker 2: you're not.
- 2:03:36Speaker 7: I love doing that.
- 2:03:37Speaker 11: I like to tell people online bad food opinions and
- 2:03:39Speaker 11: then they get mad at me.
- 2:03:40Speaker 7: I'm like, I'm from the South. I'm from Northern Virginia.
- 2:03:43Speaker 7: Northern Virginia, y'all don't know how to cook. I was
- 2:03:45Speaker 7: dropped the y'all in there. Yeah your season, y'all. I'm
- 2:03:48Speaker 7: from northern Virginia.
- 2:03:50Speaker 1: But Tennessee experiences all four seasons, and I think, like,
- 2:03:53Speaker 1: you're excited going into winter, but when you come out
- 2:03:55Speaker 1: on the other side and May is kicking off and
- 2:03:57Speaker 1: you start getting teased with those warmer months all like
- 2:04:00Speaker 1: sam volleyball starts getting played again. Activities all people are
- 2:04:04Speaker 1: going outside. You go to like a local parking everybody's
- 2:04:07Speaker 1: out there with their dogs already, Like the vibes are up.
- 2:04:09Speaker 1: The vibes are up.
- 2:04:10Speaker 5: So I share with that seasonal depression going into winter.
- 2:04:14Speaker 5: That's like that makes that may like I don't even
- 2:04:16Speaker 5: know what the opposite is.
- 2:04:17Speaker 3: Like seasonal mania, like seasonal just like.
- 2:04:21Speaker 11: Happy happiness, happiness, seasonal yeah, order, yeah, seasonal euphoria.
- 2:04:29Speaker 2: All about seasonal euphoria. Yeah. My tier two is.
- 2:04:37Speaker 1: So I know what my one is. My tier two
- 2:04:43Speaker 1: is November. I agree that you're going into holiday season.
- 2:04:49Speaker 1: Thanksgiving isn't my favorite month, but it's a or isn't
- 2:04:52Speaker 1: my favorite holiday, but it's a holiday you can appreciate
- 2:04:55Speaker 1: because there's no expectation of gift giving, which I think
- 2:04:58Speaker 1: is like a very underrated thing. Like you're around friends
- 2:05:01Speaker 1: and family, there's zero expectation of gift giving, like you're
- 2:05:04Speaker 1: just there to.
- 2:05:04Speaker 2: Like say what you appreciate about somebody.
- 2:05:07Speaker 1: But and you're right, like the football season, you're starting
- 2:05:10Speaker 1: to get into December football right after thanksgivings up the
- 2:05:13Speaker 1: Christmas tree. The vibes are absolutely up, like you are
- 2:05:16Speaker 1: playing Christmas music like it's Christmas all month long in December. Basically, However,
- 2:05:21Speaker 1: those vibes start in November. Yeah, and you're in prime
- 2:05:24Speaker 1: football season. My tier one, it's, without a question, October
- 2:05:27Speaker 1: the month that we're coming up in Spooptober number one.
- 2:05:30Speaker 2: We're big Halloween guys over here. We're a big Halloween podcasts.
- 2:05:35Speaker 1: The weather's breaking, like the weather's breaking right now in
- 2:05:37Speaker 1: this very back half of September, and the leaves start
- 2:05:39Speaker 1: to fall in October.
- 2:05:40Speaker 2: It's hard to when it's.
- 2:05:42Speaker 1: Friday and you get off work or Saturday morning, when
- 2:05:45Speaker 1: you were already in prime football season and you got
- 2:05:48Speaker 1: that whiter sunlight that's coming out. It comes out in September,
- 2:05:50Speaker 1: but fall you just have so much. The themes start happening.
- 2:05:54Speaker 1: Pumpkin spice, lattes, pumpkin cream, cold bruise, all of the
- 2:05:58Speaker 1: siders start coming out.
- 2:06:00Speaker 2: Pople are tailgating for real.
- 2:06:01Speaker 1: They're coming out with their unique dishes to October, like
- 2:06:04Speaker 1: Spooktober all month long is the ultimate vibe.
- 2:06:08Speaker 7: I think that's a good explanation.
- 2:06:09Speaker 11: I also think in October you can the variety of
- 2:06:12Speaker 11: clothes that you can wear is at the peak. I
- 2:06:14Speaker 11: think that there's so many different combinations in that month. Yeah,
- 2:06:18Speaker 11: it really It lets you dress it lets you start
- 2:06:20Speaker 11: styling on people.
- 2:06:21Speaker 2: You can.
- 2:06:22Speaker 11: I think you can stunt on more people in October
- 2:06:25Speaker 11: than any other month.
- 2:06:27Speaker 7: Most dress.
- 2:06:28Speaker 1: You can wear every variety, every variety, like you can
- 2:06:30Speaker 1: still probably get away with shorts if you want to.
- 2:06:32Speaker 1: People might judge you and then you're arguing with them.
- 2:06:34Speaker 1: I'm like, who's whose flex is better?
- 2:06:36Speaker 11: Yeah, you can do shorts, you can do scarves, even
- 2:06:38Speaker 11: sometimes mixed up.
- 2:06:39Speaker 7: Then you got costumes coming in at the end.
- 2:06:42Speaker 11: Wide variety. Yeah, I got to wrap it up from
- 2:06:44Speaker 11: mad Dog over there because we have the college football show.
- 2:06:46Speaker 2: I think we all do we are?
- 2:06:48Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 2:06:49Speaker 2: Yeah, I gotta go over there.
- 2:06:50Speaker 7: To y Yeah, we're all. That's true.
- 2:06:53Speaker 2: Do you have anything else that we gotta do?
- 2:06:55Speaker 1: Although the road back question, you're you're familiar with the

- 2:07:58Speaker 7: let's get hooky.
- 2:08:00Speaker 1: But my final roadback question, has there ever been what's
- 2:08:06Speaker 1: been the most uncomfortable situation with you and Big Kat
- 2:08:09Speaker 1: throughout your tenure at Barstool Sports, Like is it weird
- 2:08:12Speaker 1: with the dynamic because he's in barstool, you're more of
- 2:08:16Speaker 1: a talent, Like has that ever been? Has there has
- 2:08:19Speaker 1: there ever been a little bit of division with that.
- 2:08:23Speaker 11: I don't think that we've ever had like any weird
- 2:08:26Speaker 11: tension field moment.
- 2:08:28Speaker 2: I think it's been the most tension field moment.
- 2:08:30Speaker 7: There we go, yeah, okay, the most tension field moment
- 2:08:32Speaker 7: because you.
- 2:08:33Speaker 2: Know, we need a little bit of drama, like we
- 2:08:35Speaker 2: get to sit with you.
- 2:08:36Speaker 7: I'm trying to think what it would be to hear
- 2:08:37Speaker 7: the tea.
- 2:08:38Speaker 1: Probably yeah, like dude us joining in, partnering with barstool,
- 2:08:42Speaker 1: Like getting to know everybody, it's been awesome. And then
- 2:08:44Speaker 1: I've watched all the documentary stuff that you guys have
- 2:08:46Speaker 1: done to Eyboy's coming in.
- 2:08:47Speaker 2: You get to know the company and how it's been built.
- 2:08:49Speaker 1: It's like you're always curious, like what's going on behind
- 2:08:51Speaker 1: the scenes, because it's it takes like a certain level
- 2:08:54Speaker 1: of like it takes a high level of execution to
- 2:08:58Speaker 1: keep everybody involved and bought in all the time, and
- 2:09:01Speaker 1: so I'm curious, like those conversations are things that go
- 2:09:03Speaker 1: on behind the scenes that nobody knows about.
- 2:09:04Speaker 11: I like to think that that part of my take
- 2:09:06Speaker 11: has been successful because Big Cat and I don't, like
- 2:09:10Speaker 11: we never let our egos get in the way of anything,
- 2:09:13Speaker 11: Like we realize how lucky we are to be doing
- 2:09:15Speaker 11: this and it's very fun.
- 2:09:16Speaker 7: It's the best job in the world.
- 2:09:18Speaker 11: So I think we don't have there's none of that
- 2:09:20Speaker 11: like headbutting that goes on.
- 2:09:21Speaker 7: And he's a very easy.
- 2:09:22Speaker 11: Guy to work with, Like Big Cat is the most
- 2:09:24Speaker 11: talented person I think in sports media, so like I'm
- 2:09:27Speaker 11: I'm lucky to get to work with him. I think
- 2:09:30Speaker 11: maybe the most tention field maybe either after arsenol Vantalk
- 2:09:33Speaker 11: got canceled on ESPN and we didn't know what, Like
- 2:09:36Speaker 11: we were both mad. We're mad about the way that
- 2:09:38Speaker 11: the whole thing went down. We're mad at everybody, like
- 2:09:40Speaker 11: a wide variety of anger coming at from all directions
- 2:09:45Speaker 11: for everybody involved in it. But that was just like
- 2:09:49Speaker 11: a tension field time in general. Besides that, maybe the
- 2:09:53Speaker 11: maybe the medium rare plus debates that we have sometimes,
- 2:09:56Speaker 11: Like Big Cat gets mad about that because I tell
- 2:09:58Speaker 11: him that the medium mare plus is a high in
- 2:10:00Speaker 11: its order to make from a steakhouse, and it started
- 2:10:03Speaker 11: out I was like, it's not that's not a real order, dude,
- 2:10:06Speaker 11: Like I was saying it in a way that made
- 2:10:09Speaker 11: it seem like there was no temperature between medium and
- 2:10:13Speaker 11: medium rare. But in reality, it's more of a conversation
- 2:10:17Speaker 11: have about whether it's an acceptable order to make at
- 2:10:20Speaker 11: a steakhouse.
- 2:10:21Speaker 7: Like if I was a waiter and I heard somebody say, media.
- 2:10:23Speaker 2: You guys are close to going toe.
- 2:10:24Speaker 11: Oh yeah, yeah, we've gone We've gone at it over
- 2:10:26Speaker 11: that on the podcast a couple of times. We make
- 2:10:28Speaker 11: clips out of it, and you can see that we're
- 2:10:29Speaker 11: both mad at each other for takes on mediaware plus.
- 2:10:32Speaker 11: But if that's the if that's the biggest fight that
- 2:10:34Speaker 11: we have in like almost seven years of podcasting, I
- 2:10:37Speaker 11: think we're doing okay.
- 2:10:39Speaker 5: They's like third person perspective. They don't fight. It's kind
- 2:10:42Speaker 5: of weird we have.
- 2:10:44Speaker 2: I think that's good. That's good to know.
- 2:10:46Speaker 1: Like I feel like I've been curious that, Like, man,
- 2:10:48Speaker 1: how did they balance everything? And like keep everything, keep
- 2:10:51Speaker 1: everything solid.
- 2:10:52Speaker 11: We have a very I think we have a like
- 2:10:53Speaker 11: a a very healthy relationship.
- 2:10:56Speaker 7: I think it's it's grown nicely.
- 2:10:58Speaker 11: And then sometimes we'll like you know, we'll get somebody
- 2:11:01Speaker 11: like Billy will adopt the child. And then if we
- 2:11:04Speaker 11: ever have any if being big Cat ever have any
- 2:11:06Speaker 11: like anger towards each other, our attention towards you, So
- 2:11:10Speaker 11: we just take it out on Billy, which is a
- 2:11:12Speaker 11: very healthy redirection of anything that we might also keep.
- 2:11:15Speaker 3: It together for the child.
- 2:11:16Speaker 5: So like, if you're wondering why, like if it so
- 2:11:20Speaker 5: like if you're wondering why, like my biggest role it's
- 2:11:22Speaker 5: like keeping the podcast together.
- 2:11:23Speaker 3: So uh yeah, So.
- 2:11:24Speaker 11: When Billy fucks up, what he's actually doing is keeping
- 2:11:27Speaker 11: the podcast.
- 2:11:27Speaker 3: So like that's my role.
- 2:11:29Speaker 5: He realized he's taking the suspension for I had to
- 2:11:32Speaker 5: start boys, I had to start acting up this whole
- 2:11:35Speaker 5: Chicago thing. So I acted up hard over the summer
- 2:11:37Speaker 5: just to make sure it was all gonna go, you know,
- 2:11:41Speaker 5: meshed together.
- 2:11:41Speaker 7: Billy did a great job.
- 2:11:42Speaker 2: But that was a great job, Billy. I feel you
- 2:11:45Speaker 2: was one time Taylor and I.
- 2:11:46Speaker 1: Felt like you could see us actually figure out who's
- 2:11:49Speaker 1: gonna win this argument five guys and in and Out. Yeah,
- 2:11:53Speaker 1: like you know, it's a tough look for bo Jangles.
- 2:11:55Speaker 1: Well it was tough look for In and Out in
- 2:11:56Speaker 1: that whole fan base that week.
- 2:11:57Speaker 7: It was it was.
- 2:11:58Speaker 2: But uh dude, thanks for coming on. Man, this has
- 2:12:00Speaker 2: been awesome.

- 2:12:35Speaker 7: I'll give them five stars.
