- 0:48Speaker 1: Hi, guys, Happy Wednesday. But I have to confess today
- 0:53Speaker 1: is my Friday, so I'm extra excited about it being Wednesday.
- 0:57Speaker 1: I am starting vacation tomorrow and we'll be spending the
- 1:01Speaker 1: next ten days with my five year old grandson who
- 1:04Speaker 1: is coming to visit from California for spring break. And guys,
- 1:08Speaker 1: I fear I'm gonna need a vacation after that many
- 1:11Speaker 1: days with a little one. Now, thankfully, my granddaughter will
- 1:16Speaker 1: be here this weekend and we'll help a little bit.
- 1:19Speaker 1: And guys, it makes this mama's heart happy to see
- 1:23Speaker 1: the special bond between my grandkids. I mean, especially since
- 1:28Speaker 1: Monkey Butts twelve and Axon Jackson is five. I think
- 1:32Speaker 1: it is so special. In fact, all they care about
- 1:35Speaker 1: is having each other, and I'm just like chopped liver
- 1:39Speaker 1: when they're together. But hey, no complaints. If you're new here,
- 1:44Speaker 1: I am Terry True Crime, and welcome to Midday Missing,

- 3:49Speaker 1: you get to kind of be there with us. Okay,
- 3:53Speaker 1: And these are falling out of my ear today, I
- 3:56Speaker 1: don't know, maybe it's me so today, Hey, guys, we
- 4:01Speaker 1: have two cases that are very heartbreaking. I mean, all
- 4:06Speaker 1: of the cases are heartbreaking, but a couple of these
- 4:10Speaker 1: cases really make my head spin. So the first missing
- 4:15Speaker 1: person case is a very perplexing case, and it is
- 4:19Speaker 1: a case that continues to leave both investigators, the family,
- 4:24Speaker 1: and the public with far more questions than answers. Brian
- 4:30Speaker 1: Randall Schaeffer was a twenty seven year old medical student
- 4:33Speaker 1: at the Ohio State University College of Medicine. He was
- 4:38Speaker 1: described by friends and family as friendly, intelligent, and charismatic. Now.
- 4:44Speaker 1: Brian had a passion for music, especially pearl jam, and
- 4:48Speaker 1: he dreamed of one day of starting a band and
- 4:52Speaker 1: living on an island. Me too, Me too now. On
- 4:56Speaker 1: the evening of Friday, March thirty first, two thousand and six,
- 5:00Speaker 1: Brian first met up with his dad for dinner. Then
- 5:03Speaker 1: he went on to meet up with his friend Clint
- 5:07Speaker 1: Florence to celebrate the beginning of spring break. Now, they
- 5:10Speaker 1: started the night at the Ugly Tuna saloona okay, guys,
- 5:16Speaker 1: the Ugly Tuna that just cracked me up. Okay, and
- 5:20Speaker 1: it is a bar located in the South Campus Gateway
- 5:24Speaker 1: near OSU's campus in Columbus, Ohio. Now, around eleven pm
- 5:29Speaker 1: that night, Brian called his girlfriend. They had a brief conversation,
- 5:34Speaker 1: and then he went back to rejoin his friends. Now,
- 5:37Speaker 1: the two later bar hopped through the Arena district, meeting
- 5:41Speaker 1: up with another friend, Meredith Reid, who at the end
- 5:45Speaker 1: of the night gave them a ride back to the
- 5:47Speaker 1: Ugly Tuna. Around one point fifteen, Oh, lady and Gray,
- 5:52Speaker 1: I agree, that actually sounds like a fun place. I
- 5:57Speaker 1: just laughed at Tuna because I don't like tuna, so
- 6:01Speaker 1: it kind of made me laugh. Now, surveilledge footage captured
- 6:06Speaker 1: Brian entering the bar around that time. Okay, now, around
- 6:11Speaker 1: one point fifty five, the camera caught him briefly speaking
- 6:15Speaker 1: with two young women outside the entrance on the second
- 6:19Speaker 1: floor landing. Now, he appeared to say goodbye before walking
- 6:23Speaker 1: back towards the bar's main entrance and then guys, nothing okay.
- 6:30Speaker 1: When the bar closed that night, Brian's friends attempted to
- 6:34Speaker 1: locate him inside the bar, and they tried calling him,
- 6:38Speaker 1: but they were unsuccessful. Now they assumed he had left
- 6:42Speaker 1: the bar and went home, so they headed to their homes.
- 6:45Speaker 1: I mean, guys, he had been studying for finals, he
- 6:48Speaker 1: had just had his white coat ceremony. They figured he
- 6:52Speaker 1: was tired and he was getting ready to be going
- 6:54Speaker 1: on a trip. Probably had some drinks. He went home. Now,
- 6:58Speaker 1: Brian Schaeffer was never seen again, not by friends, not
- 7:02Speaker 1: by staff, and not by security footage. Now, the next day,
- 7:07Speaker 1: Brian's girlfriend tried calling him several times, but she was
- 7:11Speaker 1: unable to reach him. She figured, like I would have,
- 7:14Speaker 1: that he was catching up on a sleep when she
- 7:16Speaker 1: couldn't reach him. Okay, But then the next day, when
- 7:20Speaker 1: she still couldn't reach Brian, she reached out to Brian's father,
- 7:24Speaker 1: who immediately went to check his apartment. Everything looked normal,
- 7:30Speaker 1: He didn't see anything suspicious. Now, the very next day,
- 7:35Speaker 1: Brian failed to show up at the airport for his
- 7:38Speaker 1: flight with his girlfriend. Now, a police report was filed
- 7:43Speaker 1: and Brian Schaeffer was officially listed as a missing person.
- 7:49Speaker 1: Although multiple surveillance cameras covered the bar's main public entrance
- 7:54Speaker 1: and Brian was clearly seen entering, there is no footage
- 8:00Speaker 1: showing him leaving. Now, this has led to widespread but
- 8:04Speaker 1: inaccurate myth that the Ugly Tuna Salona had only one
- 8:09Speaker 1: way out. Okay, in reality, there was a secondary exit
- 8:14Speaker 1: used by staff for deliveries in trash removal, which opened
- 8:19Speaker 1: up into a poorly lit construction area. Guys, this path
- 8:25Speaker 1: wasn't monitored by cameras, and they said it was cluttered
- 8:28Speaker 1: with debris, posing serious hazards. Okay, they said somebody who
- 8:34Speaker 1: had been drinking and didn't know the area. They kind
- 8:37Speaker 1: of said they found it hard to believe that somebody
- 8:40Speaker 1: would make it out through that area. Now, the first
- 8:44Speaker 1: thing I want to say about that to the Ugly
- 8:47Speaker 1: Tuna Salona, if you're still open, clean up that area,
- 8:51Speaker 1: because if a fire had started in your bar, people
- 8:55Speaker 1: need all entrances and exits to be able to get
- 8:59Speaker 1: out safely. Okay, that's just me, just how to give
- 9:03Speaker 1: you a little tip. Now, police thoroughly search the area,
- 9:09Speaker 1: even using cadaver dogs. Guys, they found no trace of Brian.
- 9:14Speaker 1: Now they used cadaver dogs. I am assuming these dogs
- 9:18Speaker 1: could also do brian scent. Didn't necessarily mean he needed
- 9:22Speaker 1: to be deceased. Okay. Now, Brian's cell phone, bank account,
- 9:28Speaker 1: and credit cards were never used again the guys. In
- 9:34Speaker 1: a very strange twist, his phone rang multiple times in
- 9:38Speaker 1: the months following his disappearance. One call in September two
- 9:43Speaker 1: thousand and six even pined a cell towered in Hilliard, Ohio,
- 9:49Speaker 1: which is a suburb about fourteen miles from Columbus. However,
- 9:54Speaker 1: the phone company attributed this to a possible technical glitch
- 9:59Speaker 1: or phantom Okay, guys, we have to just stop. I
- 10:04Speaker 1: have questions about this because how can there be a
- 10:07Speaker 1: technical glitch or phantom ring. I have always thought that
- 10:12Speaker 1: cell phone data was one hundred percent accurate. You see
- 10:16Speaker 1: it used in court all the time like it is
- 10:20Speaker 1: the Holy Grail. It's like DNA, it doesn't lie. So
- 10:27Speaker 1: I want to know are we now hearing that it
- 10:31Speaker 1: may not be as solid as we think. So if
- 10:36Speaker 1: somebody knows the answer to this, I want you to
- 10:39Speaker 1: please DM me on any social media, send me an email,
- 10:44Speaker 1: drop it here, because I'm I'm really concerned. Okay. Now,
- 10:52Speaker 1: Lady and Gray says, not in Canton, Michigan. Okay, why
- 10:59Speaker 1: how can my phone ring on its own? How can
- 11:04Speaker 1: that happen? Does the system just say, oh, let me
- 11:09Speaker 1: pick a number and call it. I need more details, Okay,
- 11:13Speaker 1: Lady and Gray send me a deal. I need to know. Okay. Now,
- 11:18Speaker 1: a search began immediately with family, friends, and law enforcement.
- 11:23Speaker 1: They searched around the boar the bar. They also checked hospitals,
- 11:28Speaker 1: homeless shelters, and the shores of nearby river of the
- 11:33Speaker 1: nearby river. Now, Brian's family was devastated already. His mother
- 11:39Speaker 1: and Nay had died of cancer just three weeks earlier,
- 11:44Speaker 1: a loss that hit him hard. Guys, that is heartbreaking.
- 11:51Speaker 1: But I have to believe with him studying to become
- 11:54Speaker 1: a doctor, that fueled his passion even more to become
- 11:59Speaker 1: an doctor into help people. Now, his father, Randy Shaeffer,
- 12:04Speaker 1: was a tireless advocate for Brian, posting flyers, speaking with
- 12:10Speaker 1: the media, and never giving up the search. Tragically, Randy
- 12:15Speaker 1: passed away in two thousand and eight when a tree
- 12:18Speaker 1: fell on him during a storm. Now, this next part
- 12:24Speaker 1: gives me goosebumps. At his memorial service, someone anonymously posted
- 12:29Speaker 1: a message online saying, Dad, I love you. Love Brian. Now,
- 12:38Speaker 1: investigators were unable to confirm the source of this, but guys,
- 12:42Speaker 1: that just that gives me goosebumps. Now, Brian's girlfriend at
- 12:47Speaker 1: the time, Alexis Wagner, had been expecting a proposal. So
- 12:52Speaker 1: they were going to be getting proposed, you know, really soon. Now.
- 12:56Speaker 1: They were supposed to go on a trip to Miami
- 12:59Speaker 1: on April third, that was just days after his disappearance.
- 13:03Speaker 1: And like I said, she repeatedly had called his phone
- 13:06Speaker 1: and at one point it even rang, but there was
- 13:08Speaker 1: no answer. Now, her heartbreak was matched by the frustration
- 13:14Speaker 1: of law enforcement, who found no evidence of foul play,
- 13:19Speaker 1: no suspects, and no signs that Brian intentionally vanished. Guys,
- 13:26Speaker 1: people cannot just disappear off the space of the Earth
- 13:31Speaker 1: without somebody seeing them, unless they're out in a remote
- 13:35Speaker 1: part of the country in a bar with a bunch
- 13:38Speaker 1: of people and friends. Somebody saw something. Now. Brian's brother
- 13:44Speaker 1: Derek took up the search for his brother after his
- 13:48Speaker 1: dad passed the friend that Brian was out with that night,
- 13:57Speaker 1: Clint Florence hired an attorney and refused to take a
- 14:01Speaker 1: polygraph test. Now, Derek told Emmy L magazine that he
- 14:07Speaker 1: didn't know Clinton very well, but that he always thought
- 14:10Speaker 1: something was off with him, and he went on to
- 14:13Speaker 1: say the way he talked about my brother after he
- 14:16Speaker 1: went missing kind of in a negative way. I wouldn't
- 14:21Speaker 1: expect that from someone whose friend vanished. Derek then said,
- 14:26Speaker 1: if Clinton knew something, I hope he would have shared it.
- 14:31Speaker 1: I deserve to know, Derek. I agree with you one
- 14:37Speaker 1: thousand percent. Land if you know something. We're not saying
- 14:41Speaker 1: you did anything, but if you know something, please tell Derek.
- 14:46Speaker 1: If you're not comfortable telling Derek, tell someone. Okay, Florence
- 14:51Speaker 1: has never been named a suspect, but guys, his reluctance
- 14:55Speaker 1: to participate father and investigation raises eye eyebrows. Guys, it
- 15:01Speaker 1: raises eyebrows with me. Okay, I said, I'm not saying
- 15:05Speaker 1: you did anything wrong, but why wouldn't you help? Okay.
- 15:10Speaker 1: Meredith Reid, who is also with them, did take a
- 15:13Speaker 1: polygrass test and passed and has been very cooperative. Now,
- 15:19Speaker 1: in the years since, countless theories have circulated. You know
- 15:23Speaker 1: that Brian suffered a head injury and wandered away, that
- 15:27Speaker 1: he was a victim of foul play inside the bar,
- 15:30Speaker 1: that he staged his own disappearance, even that he may
- 15:33Speaker 1: have left through a hidden or staff only exit and
- 15:36Speaker 1: started a new life elsewhere, but nothing has ever been proven.
- 15:41Speaker 1: The family does not think he left on his own.
- 15:44Speaker 1: They do not think he went off to start a
- 15:47Speaker 1: new life because, guys, let's be realistic. Would he really
- 15:51Speaker 1: put his dad in his siblings through that after they
- 15:54Speaker 1: just lost their mother several weeks before. Come on, this
- 15:58Speaker 1: guy wanted to be a dog. Doctors have compassion in empathy.
- 16:05Speaker 1: They would not intentionally put a family member through this. Okay. Now,
- 16:10Speaker 1: as of today, Brian Schaeffer has been missing for over
- 16:14Speaker 1: eighteen years. Okay, I think it's nineteen years now thinking
- 16:19Speaker 1: of the date. He was six feet two. He was
- 16:22Speaker 1: weighed about one hundred and sixty to one hundred and
- 16:24Speaker 1: sixty five pounds at this time. He has hazel eyes
- 16:28Speaker 1: and brown hair. He has a very distinctive pearl gem
- 16:32Speaker 1: stick figure tattoo on his upper right arm and a
- 16:35Speaker 1: small freckle or dot on the iris of his left eye. Guys,
- 16:40Speaker 1: he is a good looking guy and his tattoo is
- 16:45Speaker 1: kind of adorable. Okay. Now. He was last seen wearing jeans,
- 16:49Speaker 1: a short sleeved green polo shirt with white stripes, and
- 16:53Speaker 1: Adida sneakers. If you have any information, guys, I don't
- 16:59Speaker 1: care if you think it's a rumor, if you think, oh,
- 17:02Speaker 1: somebody else'll call in, just do it, Okay. If you
- 17:06Speaker 1: know anything about Brian Schaeffer, please contact the Columbus Division
- 17:11Speaker 1: of Police at six one four six four five four
- 17:15Speaker 1: five four five, or your local FBI office. You can
- 17:21Speaker 1: submit a tip anonymously at FBI dot gov slash tips.
- 17:29Speaker 1: I mean I am with you, Samy Sunshine. When you
- 17:32Speaker 1: say that, I mean after all that schooling. I mean,
- 17:37Speaker 1: he wouldn't just throw it away. I mean, and he
- 17:40Speaker 1: lost his mom. There's just too many things, guys. Brian's
- 17:43Speaker 1: family wants and deserves to know what happened to Brian.
- 17:49Speaker 1: So do the right thing. If you know something, speak up. Okay.
- 17:58Speaker 1: This next case is just heartbreaking and just is scary
- 18:07Speaker 1: to me. And it looks like we actually have somebody
- 18:11Speaker 1: here from the help find Andy Chapman facebook page, thank
- 18:17Speaker 1: you for joining us. We hear at midday missing hope
- 18:22Speaker 1: that by sharing Andy's story that someone will come forward
- 18:27Speaker 1: and say something. Okay, it has been over eighteen years
- 18:32Speaker 1: since Andrew he went by Andy Chapman vanished from Columbus, Ohio.
- 18:37Speaker 1: His family is still searching for answers now. Andy was
- 18:42Speaker 1: last seen on December eighth, two thousand and six, at
- 18:46Speaker 1: his home on Whitethorne Avenue in the Hilltop neighborhood. Guys,
- 18:51Speaker 1: he was thirty two years old. He was a loving father, son,
- 18:55Speaker 1: brother and friend. Okay. He had a steady job with
- 18:58Speaker 1: the City of Columbus and he currently is living with
- 19:02Speaker 1: two roommates at this time, Guys. Unfortunate for Andy, his
- 19:07Speaker 1: life took a very hard turn after a car accident
- 19:10Speaker 1: in two thousand and four. Andy was prescribed opioids, and
- 19:15Speaker 1: that prescription led to addiction, financial struggles, and ultimately the
- 19:20Speaker 1: end of his marriage in two thousand and five. Guys,
- 19:24Speaker 1: I wanted to say right now, if anybody wants to
- 19:28Speaker 1: shame anyone because they got addicted to opioids after a
- 19:33Speaker 1: surgery an accident, I want to tell you to go
- 19:36Speaker 1: watch the Netflix show. I think it's called Pill Pusher
- 19:40Speaker 1: or something. I'll find it and put it on social media.
- 19:44Speaker 1: The pharmacies and pharmaceutical company and doctors. They intentionally over
- 19:50Speaker 1: prescribed opioids. Guys, it led to thousands of people becoming addicted.
- 19:58Speaker 1: So if you want to shame one about that, this
- 20:02Speaker 1: is not the platform for you. You need to go away. Okay,
- 20:06Speaker 1: you just need to take a ride. And if you
- 20:08Speaker 1: want to say he doesn't deserve to be found because
- 20:10Speaker 1: he was suffering with addiction, go away. This isn't the
- 20:14Speaker 1: place for you. Okay. He tried to get help, He
- 20:19Speaker 1: went through several rehab programs, but relapsed. Now he was
- 20:25Speaker 1: later stopped for a traffic violation and he was charged
- 20:27Speaker 1: with drug position possession and he fell to show up
- 20:31Speaker 1: for court, which led to a warrant for his arrest. Now,
- 20:36Speaker 1: just before he disappeared, there was conflicting information I saw
- 20:41Speaker 1: twenty five thousand, but most articles said he withdrew about
- 20:44Speaker 1: thirty seven thousand from his retirement account and bought a vehicle. Now, Guys,
- 20:51Speaker 1: it was later discovered that one of the family members
- 20:56Speaker 1: of his roommates that he was living with at the
- 20:59Speaker 1: time transferred the title to their name without the family
- 21:05Speaker 1: member being aware involved, Guys, I find this very suspicious.
- 21:11Speaker 1: I know I'm a suspicious person. Okay, maybe it's just me,
- 21:15Speaker 1: but this is a red flag that vehicles should have
- 21:19Speaker 1: been given to his family. Why and where do you
- 21:22Speaker 1: think you have the right to just take it? That
- 21:25Speaker 1: is suspicious to me. Okay, Now since that day, there
- 21:30Speaker 1: has been no activity on his bank account. Now, on
- 21:34Speaker 1: the day he disappeared, Andy had made an urgent phone
- 21:37Speaker 1: call to his mother expressing a need to see her immediately. Unfortunately,
- 21:42Speaker 1: she was sick, she was under the weather, and she
- 21:44Speaker 1: couldn't visit for a few days. But guys, when she
- 21:48Speaker 1: went to Andy's apartment, she found it had been completely
- 21:52Speaker 1: cleaned out by Andy and his roommates. What seriously, it's
- 22:00Speaker 1: not suspicious people, that's suspicious. Now. Andy had vanished. There
- 22:07Speaker 1: was no additional calls and no sightings. His loved ones
- 22:12Speaker 1: belief firmly foul play may be involved. Guys, this next part,
- 22:19Speaker 1: I'm going to try really hard not to break out
- 22:20Speaker 1: a cry. The family discovered, after years of searching for Andy,
- 22:27Speaker 1: that the police had hienlisted as a fleeing felon because
- 22:32Speaker 1: he failed to show up in court, rather than a
- 22:35Speaker 1: missing person. Why why can't it be listed as both?
- 22:41Speaker 1: We all know after doing midday missing for two years.
- 22:45Speaker 1: Now that even if he wanted to leave on his
- 22:48Speaker 1: own and get away for a couple of days, that
- 22:50Speaker 1: something nefarious could have happened. Guys, it sounds like it did.
- 22:55Speaker 1: Why would you discount this person and say they're a
- 23:00Speaker 1: fleeing felon instead of a missing person. They can be
- 23:05Speaker 1: both both, Okay. Now, Governor Mike Dwine said he will
- 23:11Speaker 1: seek legislative changes regarding miss in person cases. Guys, I
- 23:16Speaker 1: hope this happens, and I hope it helps other families,
- 23:20Speaker 1: because that is discounting someone's brother, child father by saying
- 23:27Speaker 1: they're just a fleeing felon. Okay, he didn't murder anyone.
- 23:32Speaker 1: He wasn't in trouble for abusing kids. He was a
- 23:35Speaker 1: person who struggled with an addiction that wealthy pharmaceutical companies cost. Okay,
- 23:45Speaker 1: trying to hold it back, guys. Now, In twenty twenty three,
- 23:49Speaker 1: the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation released an age progressed
- 23:54Speaker 1: image of Andy. Okay, that's it on the screen, And
- 23:58Speaker 1: in twenty twenty five, two billboards went up to help
- 24:02Speaker 1: spread the word and encourage new tips. So, guys, just
- 24:06Speaker 1: this January, when those billboards went up. His family gathered
- 24:11Speaker 1: to commemorate those billboards. His sister Amy said, we love
- 24:17Speaker 1: and miss you. Andy. We're waiting for you with open arms.
- 24:25Speaker 1: The family hopes that one of the public who drives
- 24:29Speaker 1: by and sees this billboard will call and report anything
- 24:34Speaker 1: they know. Like I said earlier, guy, rumors, even if
- 24:39Speaker 1: you don't know they're true. In rumors, there's sometimes a
- 24:42Speaker 1: shred of evidence. It could be that little piece of
- 24:45Speaker 1: information that makes it all click. So the family hopes
- 24:50Speaker 1: that one of the I mean, I already said that,
- 24:53Speaker 1: but they want someone to come forward. Okay, Andy's mom said,
- 24:58Speaker 1: this is the year. I feel it in my bones.
- 25:02Speaker 1: It's our last hope and it's a godsind when talking
- 25:07Speaker 1: about the billboards, guys, let's make her dreams come true.
- 25:14Speaker 1: And when I say her dreams, it's a wish, I'm
- 25:17Speaker 1: gonna call it a dream that you know what happened
- 25:20Speaker 1: to your son. Let's in her pain of going to
- 25:24Speaker 1: bed every night wondering where her son is. Is he hurt,
- 25:30Speaker 1: is he safe? Is he hungry? Let's call in anything
- 25:35Speaker 1: you know. His case is still open, still unsolved. If
- 25:41Speaker 1: you have any information, contact Columbus Police at six one
- 25:46Speaker 1: four six four five four five four five guys. His
- 25:51Speaker 1: family has waited nearly two decades. Two decades. Let's not
- 25:55Speaker 1: wait any longer. Share his story because someone out there
- 25:59Speaker 1: knows something. Okay. On our Midday Missing Page Facebook page,
- 26:04Speaker 1: we will have the missing posts and flyers. Please share them.
- 26:09Speaker 1: Let's flood social media, okay with Adam and Brian's pictures.
- 26:15Speaker 1: Let's get the word out. Now my tip today, I
- 26:20Speaker 1: need to start first by saying I'm not shaming anyone. Okay,
- 26:25Speaker 1: I do not understand, but don't shame anyone. Okay. I
- 26:29Speaker 1: do not understand why people go running if no one
- 26:32Speaker 1: is chasing them. Okay, I don't get it, but I
- 26:36Speaker 1: have several friends that like to run. No judgment, Okay,
- 26:42Speaker 1: no judgment, but jogging is great for your health. But
- 26:46Speaker 1: stay safe should always be a priority. One of the
- 26:50Speaker 1: reasons I decided to give this tip is because I
- 26:54Speaker 1: keep seeing articles where women and men are attacked while
- 27:01Speaker 1: out jogging. Okay, some of them have gone missing, some
- 27:05Speaker 1: of them have been brutally beaten, some have been sexually assaulted.
- 27:10Speaker 1: So please stay aware. Keep your music volume or your
- 27:15Speaker 1: podcasts low. Use one earbud Okay, don't put in both.
- 27:22Speaker 1: You need to be able to hear if someone's coming
- 27:24Speaker 1: up behind you. Okay, very your root. If you jog
- 27:29Speaker 1: the same place every day or every couple of days,
- 27:33Speaker 1: don't run down the same path. You don't want to
- 27:36Speaker 1: be predictable. Okay. Also, if you're running on a street,
- 27:41Speaker 1: run against traffic. Guys, double h When we're driving out
- 27:45Speaker 1: of our neighborhood and we see people jogging or walking
- 27:49Speaker 1: on the wrong side of the road, he yells at
- 27:52Speaker 1: them and the car doesn't roll down the windows. Okay.
- 27:55Speaker 1: It helps you see approaching vehicles so you can react
- 27:58Speaker 1: if needed. He keeps you from getting hit from behind. Okay.
- 28:03Speaker 1: Carry protection, whether it's pepper spray, a personal alarm, or
- 28:08Speaker 1: a safety whistle. Always have a way to defend yourself. Okay.
- 28:13Speaker 1: Share your plans. Let someone know you're route, what time
- 28:18Speaker 1: you're going to be home, even if you live alone.
- 28:21Speaker 1: Text your friend, Hey, I'm going to go running. This
- 28:25Speaker 1: is where I'm planning on running. I should be back
- 28:28Speaker 1: about this time. Share your location with that friend. If
- 28:32Speaker 1: you don't have a close friend you're comfortable with, message me.
- 28:35Speaker 1: I'll give you my cell phone number and you can
- 28:37Speaker 1: text me and I promise you I won't shame you
- 28:40Speaker 1: for jogging. Okay, guys, I say this all the time.
- 28:43Speaker 1: Trust your gut. If something fills off, oh excuse me,
- 28:49Speaker 1: trust your gut. Okay. Now, I want to thank you
- 28:53Speaker 1: all for joining me today on this hump day. Next week,
- 28:58Speaker 1: everyone at Teas Media will be on spring break. It's
- 29:03Speaker 1: not just me. I'm just starting it a little early.
- 29:06Speaker 1: So we will not have Midday Missing or True Crime
- 29:09Speaker 1: and Wine Time episode next Thursday night. However, we will
- 29:14Speaker 1: still be on this Thursday. Producer Tara is gonna sit
- 29:18Speaker 1: in for me to talk about Marvin Gay and then
- 29:23Speaker 1: Tara Captain and JT will still be on Sunday night
- 29:26Speaker 1: for the Zizyan special. Okay. So just we're going to
- 29:30Speaker 1: take some time off next week. Now, don't forget guys.
- 29:35Speaker 1: You can join our Facebook group that is where our
- 29:38Speaker 1: Midday Missing we share missing person posters as well as
- 29:42Speaker 1: share other persters. Guys, I want to tell you we
- 29:45Speaker 1: confirm those posters. I just had someone who has a
- 29:51Speaker 1: missing child that I've gotten close to who shared something
- 29:55Speaker 1: a missing person flyer on their social media, So why
- 29:59Speaker 1: w and checked it out? It was a scam guy
- 30:03Speaker 1: that he had used pictures of a young lady who
- 30:06Speaker 1: had been found a year ago and put a different
- 30:09Speaker 1: name on it. So we take the time here at
- 30:13Speaker 1: TCWT Media to go and make sure they're valid. Okay,
- 30:19Speaker 1: our Midday Missing page is not where we're going to
- 30:21Speaker 1: share fun stuff. You want fun stuff, you need to
- 30:24Speaker 1: go follow us on our true crime and one Time
- 30:27Speaker 1: social media pages or me at Terry Truecrime. Guys. Especially
- 30:32Speaker 1: over the next ten days, I'm sure I'll be sharing
- 30:34Speaker 1: quite a lot of stuff because what happened the littles,
- 30:38Speaker 1: no tell them what I'm going to be getting into. Okay.
- 30:41Speaker 1: Now you can catch all of our shows on YouTube
- 30:45Speaker 1: and Facebook. You can also listen and podcast form on
- 30:49Speaker 1: any of your favorite podcast platforms. Guys, we're trying to
- 30:53Speaker 1: rebuild up our podcast platform because we kind of got
- 30:57Speaker 1: away from it and was focusing more on YouTube. If
- 31:00Speaker 1: you listen to podcasts, could you go over follow True
- 31:04Speaker 1: Crime and Wine Time and then go ahead rate us.
- 31:07Speaker 1: That helps some kind of algorithm gods that I do
- 31:10Speaker 1: not understand. I understand why gods, I don't understand the
- 31:15Speaker 1: whole algorithm gods, So go do that. Also, if you
- 31:19Speaker 1: know of or have a loved one Missing and are
- 31:23Speaker 1: interested in having their story featured on an upcoming episode,
- 31:27Speaker 1: Please dm us on our Facebook page or email us
- 31:32Speaker 1: at Terry at tcwtmedia dot com. Now, if you're a

- 31:43Speaker 1: We are a very safe, all inclusive platform, and guys,
- 31:49Speaker 1: as always in when I first started saying six years
- 31:54Speaker 1: ago that I want you to stay safe, watch out

- 32:01Speaker 1: statistics were going to continue going up. So I want
