- 0:13Hello you guys, Welcome back to another episode of the Hawkerel Energy Podcast.
- 0:17I'm your host, Kayleie, and this is your weekly reminder that it's a
- 0:20new day, a new week, a new mindset, and another day.
- 0:23If you become the hawk Grel Energy you want to attract. Hello you guys,
- 0:28welcome back to another episode. Of course, Freddy wants to play ball
- 0:32when I'm recording this episode, I'm like, why we are thirty minutes away
- 0:37from going on a long walk. I wanted to record my podcast episode before
- 0:40I went outside, just because I'm like, you know what, I need
- 0:43to get this work done. I need to get this episode up, so
- 0:45I'm like, I need to finish this before I go on my walk with
- 0:48him, and he's just like itching to go outside and play and all that.
- 0:55So I'm like, okay, we got to get this episode done and
- 0:57then we'll go. I just I feel bad. I hate when I let
- 1:00my dog down. I'm sure if you guys have a dog or a cat,
- 1:03you hate to leave them or make them sad or anything. So I'm
- 1:07like literally petting him under my table right now while I record this episode.
- 1:11But I hope you guys are having an amazing June so far. If you
- 1:15guys didn't listen to the last episode, we really chatted about New month goals,
- 1:21just new month energy. I always feel so motivated in the beginning of
- 1:23the month when I'm setting goals for myself all that. So if you haven't
- 1:26listened to that, definitely make sure to check it out. It was definitely
- 1:30a great episode to listen to, especially for a motivation But in today's episode,
- 1:34we are talking about the Summer Girl Reset checklist. I had a Instagram
- 1:40story up the other day on our Hawkgirl Energy Instagram page, and I really
- 1:45wanted to hear your feedback in terms of what kind of episodes you guys want
- 1:49to hear from me this summer. I just wanted to see if you guys
- 1:53kind of agreed with what I was thinking, and definitely agree with you guys
- 1:57on a lot of them. There is some other episodes that I've been planning
- 2:00for summer ins and out, so hopefully that one will be up next week.
- 2:05There was also stuff about wedding prep, wedding things that we're doing all
- 2:09that. I think I'm going to save the wedding ones closer to the wedding.
- 2:13I have to start planning the wedding episodes in advance because obviously, when
- 2:16I'm traveling to Italy, I am going to be off for three weeks from
- 2:20the podcast, which is really hard to say because obviously I don't want to
- 2:23be off. So I'm trying to batch up as much episode content as I
- 2:28can. I do plan on posting one the week of the wedding and one
- 2:31before, so it's going to be more wedding focused on that, probably sharing
- 2:36some details in terms of where the wedding is, things we have planned for
- 2:38the wedding all that. I would love to do an episode on maybe chatting
- 2:43with Zach and just talking about our marriage plans and just what we think is
- 2:46going to be different, you know, going into marriage within a relationship,
- 2:51like if things are going to be different, if they're going to be the
- 2:52same, like our next steps in life. All that. I just thought
- 2:54that could be a really interesting episode to hear. So those episodes will go
- 2:59live the last week of July and then the first week of August. So
- 3:01I'm just trying to plan out the episodes for the next few weeks because,
- 3:06yeah, things are going to get crazy. I am seven weeks away from
- 3:08my wedding date, which is so crazy and honestly stresses me out saying it
- 3:13out loud, because there's still so much that has to get done. I
- 3:15still don't have my dress. That's another story that I really don't want to
- 3:19talk about. I have been so mad about Kleinfeld That's where I got my
- 3:23dress, but they have been impossible to get a hold of. And honestly,
- 3:28everything with my dress appointments and all that have been great, except dealing
- 3:31with them, like internationally, like not being in the store versus being out
- 3:37of the store is totally different experiences. I feel like it's been really hard
- 3:42to get in contact with people just for them to ship my dress. I
- 3:45don't want to go back to New York City because it's just such a hassle
- 3:47to fly there for the day just to pick up a dress and then come
- 3:51home when the cost of shipping it to me is literally the same price.
- 3:53So anyways, that's kind of like my wedding dress dilemma right now. I
- 3:57just want someone to get back to me so I can get my dress and
- 4:00get it altered and all that. That's my concern right now is just making
- 4:02sure I can get my alteration appointment prior to the wedding dates. So let's
- 4:06just cross our fingers that they answer me this week, because it's been almost
- 4:11two weeks now without them answering me, and it's just a little upsetting.
- 4:15But that's just a little wedding update, but everything else is going smoothly,
- 4:17just kind of waiting for vendors to let us know what we owe them,
- 4:21like money's about to drain out of our accounts. Zach and I also have
- 4:26not planned our honeymoon, and we're literally changing our entire honeymoon idea. We
- 4:30were going to do Greece, and now we're not going to be doing Greece
- 4:33just because we think it's going to be too chaotic in August and honestly,
- 4:38anywhere in Europe is going to be really busy. But we thought, you
- 4:41know what will save Greece, maybe for our one year anniversary of our wedding
- 4:45the following year and doing it when it's not as busy, like maybe in
- 4:48September or earlier in the summer, like May or June. We just thought,
- 4:54we don't want to do that for our honeymoon, so instead we're going
- 4:57to be doing different areas of Spain and probably different areas of Italy that we
- 5:01have not seen yet. So that's what we're kind of thinking for the honeymoon.
- 5:04I honestly didn't really want to do like a Maldives or tropical vacation,
- 5:09just because I feel like Zach and I we always do that. I kind
- 5:12of wanted a mix of touristy things and relaxed time because Zach and I,
- 5:15honestly we get so bored just sitting on a beach for like a week.
- 5:18I don't know. I like to mix in some tourist things to do,
- 5:23so I think this honeymoon will be perfect to do a mix of like chill
- 5:27by the beach time in Spain and then you know, a bit of tourist
- 5:30things to do throughout other parts of Spain in Italy. So I'm super excited.
- 5:33I've never been to Spain. It's been on my bucket list for a
- 5:36really long time, so I'm really excited for that as well. But anyways,
- 5:41let's get into today's episode. I had a lot of messages on doing
- 5:45a reset episode. I feel like I haven't done one of these since the
- 5:47spring, so I kind of wanted to talk about my ideal summer reset list,
- 5:54So everything that I achieved to do on a Sunday or on a Monday.
- 5:57A lot of the times, personally for me, my rece is on
- 6:00a Monday, or I'll split it up between a Sunday and Monday. But
- 6:03this would be my ideal checklist to do in the beginning of the week,
- 6:06whether you split it up into two days or one day. This is everything
- 6:10that I strive to achieve before starting my week because this is when I feel
- 6:14my absolute best is when I do all these things. I feel the most
- 6:16prepared throughout my week, the most motivated, just the most organized, if
- 6:20that makes sense. Like I just want to feel like I have my shit
- 6:24together when I start my week. I don't want to feel like, oh
- 6:27I miss this, Oh I didn't do this, Like I feel so disorganized
- 6:30when I don't do my reset in the beginning of the week. So this
- 6:33is going to be your go to checklist for the summer, for your ultimate
- 6:36Summer Girl reset. So let's pretend that it's Sunday. Okay, it's Sunday.
- 6:42You're waking up early in the morning, and I want to say somewhat
- 6:46early in the morning. I don't want to say early early in the morning.
- 6:47We like to sleep in a bit on a Sunday. We don't want
- 6:50to wake up at the sunrise. Like that's just a little too crazy.
- 6:55Let's honestly sleep in a bit, but not too much. We don't want
- 6:58to sleep until like ten and am. We have shit to do on Sunday.
- 7:00Personally, for me, a sleep in for a Sunday is eight am.
- 7:03I don't know if that's a sleep into anybody else, but to me,
- 7:06that is a sleep in to me because I usually wake up at six
- 7:10forty five and Zach's usually up by like four thirty five sometimes, So anyways,
- 7:15our sleep in is eight am. And then usually you know, we're
- 7:16in bed just chatting for like thirty minutes and we're out by like eight thirty
- 7:20nine. Usually every Sunday, Zach and I would love to do pancakes,
- 7:24eggs, bacon. We do like the whole big breakfast, just because it's
- 7:27like the perfect way to start our Sunday morning. And then usually I always
- 7:31book a workout class. Let me tell you, ladies, if you want
- 7:34something to motivate yourself to get out of bed, to get shit done,
- 7:39to be productive throughout your day, book a workout class. I'm telling you
- 7:42right now, it will totally change your mindset throughout that day. If I
- 7:46book it too late in the morning on a Sunday, I'll get lazy,
- 7:48Like I'm like, uh okay, Like what do I do prior to my
- 7:51workout? Like I kind of just feel really disorganized if I don't have it
- 7:56right after my breakfast. So I usually book my workout class at like the
- 8:00thirty time slot. Anything later I won't want to go to. Is anyone
- 8:03else that way? Like I need to do it, like before eleven a
- 8:07m I need to get my workout in. So usually I'll have a nine
- 8:09thirty spin co class or a pilates class that'll usually go to and Zac usually
- 8:15goes to the gym on Sunday, so we both kind of have our own
- 8:18thing. Now, remember that if your partner doesn't work out or anything like
- 8:22that, and you feel unmotivated because of that, don't let that impact you
- 8:26at the end of the day. I think, if anything, if you
- 8:28push yourself to go to a workout, I find it pushes Zach to get
- 8:31out of the house and do a workout as well. And if your partner's
- 8:35just not into working out at all. I'm sure they can find time to
- 8:37do something in their own time, whether it's you give him Alista chores to
- 8:41do, or he's going to be probably sitting on the couch watching golf or
- 8:43playing video games, whatever the case may be. But let him have his
- 8:48hour to his time of whatever he wants to do. Remember, at the
- 8:50end of the day, like you guys need to be able to communicate in
- 8:54your relationship in terms of hey, working out is important to me, having
- 8:56a healthy lifestyle is important to me, Like it's important to have that space
- 9:01in your relationship on the weekend or just on nights after work or anything like
- 9:05that. At the end of the day, you need to allow having your
- 9:07own individual time. And if your partner doesn't like to work out, that's
- 9:13okay, but you should still push yourself to do it if you're the kind
- 9:16of person that wants to work out and strive to live a healthy lifestyle.
- 9:18Personally, when Zach and I both started our health and wellness journey, I
- 9:22personally felt like I was kind of the one that started that and he kind
- 9:24of jumped on to the same type of lifestyle and now we both try and
- 9:28live a healthy lifestyle, so you know, sometimes it just kind of happens
- 9:31naturally. Sometimes it doesn't, but that's just kind of what works for us.
- 9:35So he usually goes to the gym. I usually go to a spin
- 9:37coat or a pilates class. Sometimes he comes with me to a spin coat
- 9:39class. But usually we do our own thing. So once we've done our
- 9:43workout class, I come home. I usually make a coffee and then this
- 9:46is when I start to figure out, Okay, what needs to be cleaned
- 9:50in the house. It's all about cleaning. Sundays are for cleaning. If
- 9:54you guys follow me on Instagram, you guys may have seen the video that
- 9:56I posted of what I I imagine Sundays to be versus Zach, and Zach's
- 10:01like literally chilling in bed, literally so funny, just because he played in
- 10:07a ball tournament that weekend, so he was dead, so I just filmed
- 10:09it just because it was funny. Zach usually helps me cleaning. He's like,
- 10:13make sure to tell your followers that I actually do clean and I'm not
- 10:16always sleeping in the bed. And I'm like, no, don't worry,
- 10:18I will tell them. But no, he's not like that every Sunday usually
- 10:22he's helping, but he was so tired from his ball tournament that he was
- 10:24in all weekend, So of course I'm like, don't get up, like,
- 10:28I'll do it. I don't really care. And usually when he's tired
- 10:30like that and he doesn't want to do chores on Sunday, I'll give him
- 10:31like a small list of things to do throughout the week after work, whether
- 10:35it's doing laundry or changing the bedding or anything like that. He's all about
- 10:39doing cleaning as a team, Like we are a team. That's how we
- 10:43treat our relationship. Living together is a team environment, so we really try
- 10:48and do everything together and make sure that we split our own chores. Like
- 10:52Zach's chores are usually more outdoors, so he focuses on cutting the grass.
- 10:58He does the basement, he does the laundry. He's actually laundry boy in
- 11:01this house. I don't really tell anybody that, Like, yes, I
- 11:03do my own laundry, but Zach actually does more of it because I get
- 11:07anxiety about cleaning my clothes, like I always get anxiety that I'm going to
- 11:11ruin something expensive that I bought myself. And yes, I do read all
- 11:15the tags, but I don't know. There's just something about Zach. He's
- 11:18very good at laundry. He is literally laundry boy in the house. I
- 11:20wonder if he doesn't want me to say that or not, but he literally
- 11:24does all the laundry. I'm not even kidding. He's the man that I'm
- 11:26beyond grateful for that does the laundry in the house. So yeah, but
- 11:30I do do the laundry. It's not like I don't do it, but
- 11:31I just prefer Zach to do it. I just have to like almost have
- 11:35him there to make sure that everything I'm doing is correct and that I'm not
- 11:39going to ruin you know, the top that I spent all this money on.
- 11:43So anyways, I just like need the reassurance apparently. But he is
- 11:46very good at laundry, and he definitely does most of the laundry in this
- 11:50house, to be honest. So everything we do is we split it up.
- 11:54And usually for me, I always like to analyze the house and just
- 11:58figure out, Okay, what do I need to get done? What did
- 12:00I do last Sunday? Last week? I did an entire deep clean of
- 12:03the upstairs bathrooms, bedding, carpets, all that. So then this week,
- 12:07I'm going to do a deep clean of the main floor, or I
- 12:09need to do a good mop on the floor, whatever the case may be.
- 12:13Oh, we need to just focus on laundry. I always make sure
- 12:16we create chore checklists each Sunday and figure out everything we have to do for
- 12:20that day. So that's kind of how we do our cleaning around here.
- 12:22I think I've mentioned this in other episodes before too, where it's like,
- 12:26I don't like to clean the entire house from top to bottom in one day
- 12:30because it gets dirty so easily that to me, it's not worth the energy.
- 12:33So for us, we just dedicate like an hour or two of our
- 12:37Sunday. And we also don't want to waste our entire Sunday just cleaning the
- 12:39house, so we dedicate like an hour or two and we focus on one
- 12:43level of the house and then the house is usually good for two weeks on
- 12:46the floor, if that makes sense. So that's kind of how we do
- 12:50things. Obviously everyone is different, but that's what works for us and keeps
- 12:54our house clean. So yeah, that's what we do. So after you're
- 12:58done cleaning doing your chores, the next thing is going to be planning out
- 13:01your week. I cannot say this enough how much of a game changer this
- 13:05has been for my life. I'm not even kidding. Just planning out your
- 13:09groceries, figuring out meals for the week, Do you have any appointments this
- 13:13week, just making sure that you don't book anything around that. What are
- 13:16your priorities for the week, like number one, priorities that you have to
- 13:20get done for work, or just things that you have to do for yourself.
- 13:24So this is something that has been extremely important to me. So every
- 13:28Sunday, I sit down, I open up the notes app on my phone,
- 13:31just because I find this is easier for me. I put my grocery
- 13:33list in there, I put the meals that we're doing for the week.
- 13:35I put my workout schedule, and then I put the appointments or any priorities
- 13:41that I have throughout the week. And then I also plan my content out
- 13:43for the week. So I would say spend at least an hour doing all
- 13:46of that. I go on my workout apps, I book out all my
- 13:48workouts for the week. That way it allows me to ensure that I get,
- 13:52you know, five workouts in throughout the week. I usually like to
- 13:54work out five to six days a week. And then you know, for
- 13:58groceries, I know everything that I have to pick up. I go through
- 14:00my fridge, I go through my pantry, making sure that all the ingredients
- 14:03that I need to make the meals that I want to make for dinners this
- 14:05week. All that that's a huge priority for me. And then Okay,
- 14:09what appointments do I have? Do I have a nail appointment? Do I
- 14:11have an eyebrow appointment? Do I have a boat toox appointment? Whatever it
- 14:13is. Obviously I don't do those appointments every week, but those are like
- 14:16my monthly appointments that I usually get maintenance on, not my boat talks,
- 14:20but my nails and my eyebrows for an example, usually in the winter,
- 14:24I do a lot of spray tnds. So anyway, just making sure that
- 14:28the appointments don't conflict with my content that I have to film or anything like
- 14:31that. So I find planning out your week is a total game changer in
- 14:35my opinion. If you do not do that, I highly recommend it.
- 14:37I do think it will really change your life and make you feel so much
- 14:41more organized, so much more productive, and just feel like you're getting shit
- 14:45done and like you're checking things off right, Like it just having that checklist
- 14:48and checking things off really does feel so rewarding and so motivational. So try
- 14:52it out. If you don't do it, the next thing you're gonna do
- 14:54is you're gonna go grocery shopping. So everything that we wrote out for the
- 14:58groceries of the week, go to the grocery store and get it done.
- 15:01It also cuts the time of groceries by so much. You go in there
- 15:05with motivation. You just get the shit that you have to get, go
- 15:09home. That's it. You don't have to wander around and be like,
- 15:11oh, this looks good, Oh we can make this this week. Like
- 15:13you are going in with a game plan, and that is to get everything
- 15:16that you put on your list and get out. I don't know if anyone
- 15:18else is like that, but I don't want to be in the grocery store
- 15:20for more than thirty minutes. I want to get in and I want to
- 15:22get out like that is it maybe twenty minutes. I don't even know how
- 15:26long it actually takes me. I should time to see how long it actually
- 15:28takes me to groceries. That could be interesting, But anyways, I'm going
- 15:31to say, like twenty to twenty five minutes is usually how long it takes
- 15:33me after going grocery shopping. You're going to empty it out, and you're
- 15:37going to prep and clean your food. This has been another huge game changer,
- 15:43just cleaning all your fruits and vegetables. As soon as you get home,
- 15:45it's already done for the week. Cutting up the broccoli, cutting up
- 15:48the celery, whatever it is that you buy on a weekly basis, having
- 15:52it chopped and cleaned in the fridge in your containers, it makes it so
- 15:56much easier for prep before dinner or lunches or anything like that. It just
- 16:00cuts the time in half. It's just I don't know, it's a necessity.
- 16:03I feel like it's just so important to do that. I hate when
- 16:07people just honestly clean the strawberries and the same container throat in the fridge.
- 16:11It's just like, no, please, you need to actually deep clean your
- 16:14fruit. I've seen so many videos on TikTok and Instagram just some things that
- 16:18are in your food. So please do me the favor. Spend the fifteen
- 16:22minutes after your grocery shopping and just clean everything. It feels so good.
- 16:25Trust me. It's one of my favorite things to do. And yeah,
- 16:27that's just something I always make a priority. Another thing that Zach and I
- 16:30love to do on Sundays is we do our midday walk. So you guys
- 16:33know that my goal for June was to walk ten k steps a day.
- 16:38I have been failing a bit. Not gonna lie, but it's okay.
- 16:41It's been very rainy here, so I was so tempted to buy a walking
- 16:45pad on Amazon, and I still have it in my cart, so I
- 16:48might just buy one. But the weather has been shit here, not even
- 16:52gonna lie. Like the past five days. It's been gloomy and rainy,
- 16:56so every time it stops raining, I try and go outside and I walk
- 16:59what I have. I've been hitting my steps these past three days, so
- 17:03I'm trying to make up for it. Today it's just gloomy. Today it's
- 17:04not rainy, so I'm gonna try and walk as much as I can these
- 17:07next few days. But hey, it is what it is. I can't
- 17:10control the weather. But yeah, usually Sundays, Zach and I like to
- 17:14walk together, walk in the trails with Freddy. It's nice to get some
- 17:17fresh air and also just like allows Zach and I to get away from our
- 17:22phones and social media and just focus on chatting, catching up all that.
- 17:26So I find that's like really important in your relationship to have that downtime and
- 17:30not be on your phones. And yeah, it's like a good way for
- 17:33me to just get off my phone and spend time with Zach and enjoy being
- 17:38outside getting some movement in all that. So I find it a necessity to
- 17:42have that walk through our day, going back to like food prep, cleaning
- 17:47your vegetables and all that after your grocery shopping. And another thing I like
- 17:49to do sometimes is meal prep. I actually meal prepped for the first time
- 17:53this week in a long time. I posted a video on everything that I
- 17:56made this week for Freddie and myself. I always Freddy's food. That's always
- 18:00been something that I do every single week, just because I think it's important
- 18:03that dogs get some natural foods in them as well as their kibble. We
- 18:07are trying to actually switch Freddy's food to a raw diet, but it is
- 18:11very hard to find healthy dog foods here in Canada. I see so many
- 18:15great brands in the States that I see a lot of influencers work with and
- 18:19I'm just so sad that they don't shift to Canada because I haven't found a
- 18:22good brand yet for Freddy. Obviously, I would love for my dog to
- 18:26eat the healthiest he can, so I try and prep some healthy foods for
- 18:30him, and he just currently eats it with his kibble. So that's something
- 18:33I always prep but I don't usually meal prep for myself, just because I
- 18:37don't like eating the same thing every single day. I've definitely mentioned this before
- 18:41in an episode, but meal prepping for me, I don't know. By
- 18:44like day two or three, I just get sick and tired of the meal
- 18:45and I'm like, no, I don't want this. However, this one
- 18:49meal that I always make that I have made for like the past two summers
- 18:55is a good Greek pasta salad like so good fetti cheese, cumber, tomatoes,
- 19:00onions. Anyways, I posted a recipe video on my Instagram of just
- 19:06how I made the pasta salad. But it is so good. It's protein
- 19:08pasta made with chickpeas, high in protein. It's a great healthy lunch if
- 19:12you're looking for something that's easy that you can take to work. Zach loves
- 19:18it. He brings it to work all the time as well. So that's
- 19:19something that I meil prep this week as well as my green juices. So
- 19:22if you want to see that video, it's on my Instagram and TikTok.
- 19:25But that is what I mel prep this week. Every week is different,
- 19:27But if you're the kind of person that loves meal prep, Pinterest is a
- 19:30great resource to find great meal prep recipes. Zach and I use the meal
- 19:34prep all the time. Again, we just don't really do it anymore because
- 19:37I personally just don't like eating the same thing and then I'm wasting food.
- 19:41Right, So I have the luxury of being able to cook lunch here,
- 19:45which is nice, but I do enjoy having my lunch already made in the
- 19:48fridge. It is super convenient. So having the pasta salad was really really
- 19:52nice to prep this week. Another thing I always try and make a priority
- 19:57in my reset routine is my self care shower routine. You guys know,
- 20:03taking a nice long shower, doing your hair care, your hair mask,
- 20:07just shaving, exfoliating, you get the gist body oil. After all that,
- 20:11I love to do a good deep shower routine once a week. I
- 20:15honestly shower every single day, just after my workouts or anything like that.
- 20:18But washing my hair, doing that whole routine, I probably only do that
- 20:22maybe once or twice a week. I've been trying to wash my hair less
- 20:26just because I feel like that's healthier for the hair. But that's just my
- 20:30opinion. So that's super important to do, and I feel like when you
- 20:33do it on a Sunday just hits different, Like especially at night after dinner,
- 20:37doing your self care shower routine and then getting in your pjs, getting
- 20:41in your bed watching Gray's Anatomy, turning on your light, like, oh,
- 20:45just the vibes are so peaceful. I love that. And then,
- 20:49as I said, another good thing to do is making sure you create some
- 20:52downtime from social media. Stay away from your phone the last hour of the
- 20:56night or two hours of the night, either re spend time with your partner
- 21:00anything like that, and then have a decent bedtime schedule. Zach and I
- 21:06usually go to bed at ten pm religiously, like we always go to bed
- 21:11at ten pm, unless it's the weekend, like on a Saturday or Friday,
- 21:14where with friends we'll be up to eleven or twelve. But honestly,
- 21:17realistically we go to bed every single night at the same time, and Zach
- 21:21wakes up at the same time every single morning. I wake up at the
- 21:23same time every single morning, and just having a good sleep schedule and routine
- 21:27honestly makes such a different in your mindset and just overall health. If you
- 21:33listen to my last episode, I talked a lot about sleeping routines and just
- 21:37how much it makes a huge difference in your anxiety, your stress levels,
- 21:41all that. So if you want to listen to that episode, you can.
- 21:42But I do think it's really important to have a decent bedtime schedule.
- 21:48And yeah, so that's kind of like my ideal raset checklist, those ten
- 21:52things I try and have that every single week before I start my week.
- 21:57That is everything that I want to achieve, and I find it puts me
- 22:02in the best mood to start the week. Other things that I love to
- 22:06do for like monthly resets is closet cleanout or just reorganizing spaces in your home.
- 22:12I actually just did a closet cleanout of some workout sets and just some
- 22:17winter clothes that I had to not like get rid of. But just like
- 22:21put aside, I don't have that much closet space in my home unfortunately,
- 22:25Like I have a closet room, which has been great, but to put
- 22:27my winter stuff in a separate area, I don't have that luxury. Like
- 22:32I could get clear plastic bins from home depot or something and maybe put the
- 22:34winter clothes in there, but I have the space right now to keep my
- 22:37winter clothes in my closet. I also like to wear my sweaters in the
- 22:42summer of anyone else's like that, Like right now it's really not hot out,
- 22:45which is really shocking. Like I've been wearing a sweater these past three
- 22:49days, so I'm like, thank god, I didn't put this away.
- 22:52So I don't know, maybe I could take out some of it and then
- 22:56keep some of it out. I'm trying to still figure that out. But
- 22:57doing a closet cleanout of things that you never wear, being able to donate
- 23:02it, or just like reorganizing your closet in general, it feels so good
- 23:06to do that. So if you haven't done that yet for the summer season,
- 23:08I highly recommend doing it. Another thing that is good to do is
- 23:12cleaning your car. That is something that I definitely need to be better at
- 23:17is just keeping my car tidy, not having too many things just in it.
- 23:22I don't know how honestly I get stuff in my car. I don't
- 23:25know what piles up. I swear it's Zach. I don't know why,
- 23:27but I feel like guys have so much shit and they never know where to
- 23:30put it, so they just put it in their car, and Zach the
- 23:33odd time drives my car and sometimes I feel like there's just like random stuff
- 23:37in my car and I'm like, this is definitely not mine, Like this
- 23:40is definitely something Zack did. So anyone else like that, I don't know.
- 23:42I feel like it's usually Zach, So anyways, I just say nothing
- 23:45because I don't even know what he would say. But anyways, I feel
- 23:49like doing a good car cleanup is very refreshing, especially if you drive a
- 23:52lot or you're in your car a lot. It's good to just have a
- 23:56tidy space and then just making sure you have all your beauty maintenance appointments booked
- 24:03so on a monthly basis. I always get my nails done, my eyebrows.
- 24:07If it's the winter, I usually do my spray tans, but since
- 24:08it's a summertime, I honestly just try and dedicate some time being outside getting
- 24:15a tan naturally by putting on my sun's screen all that, but going outside
- 24:18for like twenty to thirty minutes on your break to get a bit of sunshine
- 24:22and a bit of a tan feels so good. And then I've been doing
- 24:26facials for my skin just prior to the wedding. That's just kind of like
- 24:32my non negotiable to do. And my skin has been reacting super well to
- 24:36the facials, which has been super great, so hoping to maintain that before
- 24:41the wedding. Right now, I'm a little stressed because I'm like, do
- 24:42I need to book a dund disappointment prior to the wedding because I have this
- 24:47one tooth that's been bothering me. It's my wisdom tooth that came in.
- 24:51But I only have two wisdom teeth, like in my mouth. The other
- 24:55two bottom ones never I don't know if they just don't exist. I guess
- 24:57one has came in, one has not, and the one that has came
- 25:00in it's never bothered me. And for some reason today it's really bothering me,
- 25:06and I'm getting really stressed about it. So let's just pray that it's
- 25:10just today and that tomorrow it will be fine. I don't know why it's
- 25:12acting up. I don't know if it's the way I'm chewing my food today.
- 25:15I have no idea, but I really hope I don't have to book
- 25:18that appointment because I hate going to the dentist and paying those bills is never
- 25:22fun either. So anyways, let's just hope I don't have to do that.
- 25:26But obviously get your monthly cleaning in for your dentist appointments or any doctor's
- 25:32appointments anything like that. But yeah, those are just other like reset tasks
- 25:36if you want to do that throughout the year, or monthly appointments anything like
- 25:41that. But that is your Summer Girl reset checklist. I hope you guys
