- 0:00Speaker 1: What's up, everyone, and welcome to another episode of the
- 0:03Epstein Chronicles. Now that we have an expanding investigation in
- 0:09New Mexico, we're learning a little bit more about the
- 0:12various nine to one one calls that were placed from
- 0:16Jeffrey Epstein's ranch and also the obvious relationship that Jeffrey
- 0:20Epstein had with the Santa Fe Police Department. All right,
- 0:23so now that we set the table, let's dive into
- 0:26this article and let's eat. Today's article was published by
- 0:30The Santa Fe New Mexican and the headline Santa Fe
- 0:33nine to one one logs show hang ups recreational injuries
- 0:37at Epstein's ranch. This article was authored by Clara Bates.
- 0:43A nine to one one call from inside Zoro Ranch
- 0:46in twenty sixteen seem to unsettle Jeffrey Epstein. Dispatch logs
- 0:51obtained by The New Mexican, which have not been previously reported,
- 0:55show only a handful of emergency service calls to the
- 0:58southern Santa Fe County ranch in years when Epstein owned it.
- 1:02They range from a sixteen year old girl getting thrown
- 1:05from a horse to a man being injured by a
- 1:07four wheeler, and three calls in which the caller hung up,
- 1:12and a sixteen year old girl getting thrown from a horse.
- 1:15That's pretty interesting. What was a sixteen year old girl
- 1:18doing on that property in the first place, And if
- 1:20there's an explanation for it, let's hear it. And as
- 1:24far as the calls that were made where the people
- 1:26hung up, that usually elicits a response no matter what, right.
- 1:30So if you dial nine one one and you say, oh,
- 1:32it was an accident, they'll still dispatch an officer to
- 1:35take a look at the scene and to make sure
- 1:37everything's on the up and up. Among those hang ups
- 1:43was a February sixteenth, twenty sixteen, call, just after Epstein
- 1:47left the property, coming from the ranch main phone line.
- 1:50The emergency call was received at eight forty three am
- 1:53that day. According to the dispatch log from the Regional
- 1:56Emergency Communication Center, which has operated jointly by the City
- 2:00and County of Santa Fe, a dispatcher calling backreach Karen Gordon,
- 2:06a longtime ranch manager, who advised everything's fine. The note
- 2:10states it was unknown who had placed the nine to
- 2:13one one call. According to the log, I think it's
- 2:15important to figure out who made that call, right and
- 2:19why they made it was it an accident, was it
- 2:22something else? And you see, this is what I'm talking about.
- 2:26There's never been a real investigation. So the truth is,
- 2:29we don't know how deep this rabbit hole goes. We
- 2:33all have our assumptions, we all speculate, and we all
- 2:37think we know, but I don't think we know just
- 2:40how deep this rabbit hole goes. Gordon received the call
- 2:43from dispatchers around twenty minutes after Epstein left the property,
- 2:46according to an email to Epstein found in the US
- 2:49Department of Justice files. Gordon denied to law enforcement anyone
- 2:54had made the call, according to the email, but officers
- 2:56were still dispatched, wrote Epstein's staff member, who Epstein from
- 3:00the Zoro Ranch email account and appears to have been
- 3:03Karen Gordon's husband and co manager, Bryce Gordon. It was
- 3:08probably the same patrol car we spotted just before Lammy L.
- 3:11Ranch Stafford, wrote to Epstein. Karen Gordon spoke to patrolman
- 3:15at RC and clarified that an old call was placed
- 3:18from residents RC and other emails refers to Rant Central,
- 3:22the cluster of homes closest to the entrance, and that's
- 3:26where like all of the staff lived and it looked
- 3:29like a little town. When I was out there, it
- 3:33really reminded me of this place here in Las Vegas
- 3:35called Bonnie Springs, and it used to be like this
- 3:38little old western town up in a red rock canyon,
- 3:41and it was kind of the same fuel. It almost
- 3:43had the feel of like a set from like an
- 3:45old Western or something. So the property itself is pretty amazing.
- 3:50The problem is this rotten bastard fouled it all up.
- 3:55Epstein forwarded the email to his pilot, Larry Vasaski, writing
- 3:58only instinct. Vasaski responded, you're correct, it's unclear what they
- 4:03were referring to, and chiedad Bryce Gordon for not telling
- 4:06Epstein about the law enforcement visit sooner. It's so wild
- 4:10to me that Larry Vasaski has escaped the fray really
- 4:13and hasn't been pulled in considering just how close he
- 4:17was to Epstein. And it's not just his pilot. This
- 4:20guy was doing all kinds of things for Epstein. And
- 4:24maybe it's time that we repost his deposition because what
- 4:27he had to say in that deposition doesn't really match
- 4:30up with reality and the lall of Epstein's employees quote
- 4:33unquote employees. Larry Vasoski's the only one that ends up
- 4:36with the house on the Zoro Ranch property. And I'm
- 4:39guessing that Epstein trusted you. If he's going to give
- 4:41you property right next to his, probably somebody that is
- 4:45in the inner circle. Epstein twice asked the ranch managers
- 4:49to tell him whether the officer was dispatched from the
- 4:52Santa Fe County Sheriff's office or New Mexico State Police,
- 4:56but didn't get an answer by email. Did Karen get
- 4:59the policeman's card, County or State Police? Epstein asked, in
- 5:02his typo strewn fashion. There was no police report in
- 5:06conjunction with the twenty sixteen call. The dispatch log noted
- 5:10no report required. And Epstein most certainly had a relationship
- 5:14with the Santa Fe Police Department, and that's why he
- 5:17was asking if it was Santa Fe or a county.
- 5:21He wants it to be Santa Fe so that he
- 5:23can massage the situation, whereas if it's the state police,
- 5:27it's different, doesn't have his hooks in. And that's the
- 5:31same reason that he was ingratiating himself all over Palm Beach,
- 5:35you know, with the police Department, with the mayor, with everybody.
- 5:39That's the reason. And also another thing that you need
- 5:42to understand. You know, you have people out here talking about, oh,
- 5:46well Epstein when he was charged and convicted, the girl
- 5:49was seventeen, and frankly, that's dishonest. They chose the girl
- 5:53that was seventeen out of the girls that were victimized,
- 5:56the multiple girls that were victimized, because they wanted to
- 5:59make sure that Epstein didn't have to register as a
- 6:01sex offender in New Mexico. Like, are people really that slow?
- 6:05They don't put two and two together. I mean, come on.
- 6:09Santa Fe County Sheriff Adam Mendoza said in an interview,
- 6:13it's standard to follow up even when a nine to
- 6:15one one call is hung up on and what Epstein
- 6:18was under no more or less scrutiny than others. I
- 6:21wouldn't say that there was more scrutiny. We treat nine
- 6:24one one calls consistently the same. Mendoza said, Yeah, there
- 6:28was no scrutiny on Epstein when it comes to New Mexico,
- 6:31none at all. And that's one of the biggest problems
- 6:34with what happened in New Mexico. There's a lot of
- 6:39people that knew the deal. A lot of people knew
- 6:41something was wrong, and nobody stepped up. And a lot
- 6:44of other people not only didn't step up, they look
- 6:48the other way. And hopefully now with this new investigation
- 6:51in New Mexico, we can get to the bottom of it,
- 6:54or as close to the bottom of it as possible.
- 6:58Epstein arrived in New Mexico on February fifteenth from West
- 7:02pom Beach, Florida, and left February sixteenth to go to
- 7:05New York, according to his flight logs released under a
- 7:08federal public records law. The passengers on those flights have
- 7:12not been made public. One female guest was flown into
- 7:15New Mexico to join Epstein the morning of February fifteenth
- 7:19from Dallas. Email show and will the hell was that?
- 7:23Another question that needs to be asked. Who was Zacher?
- 7:26Was she of age? And if she was, was she
- 7:29being trafficked? Epstein, who owns Ora Ranch from nineteen ninety
- 7:34three until his death in custody awaiting trial on sex
- 7:37trafficking charges in twenty nineteen, had reason to be wary
- 7:41of the police. He pleaded guilty in Florida in two
- 7:44thousand and eight to soliciting a minor for prostitution and
- 7:48served thirteen months in jail. All by design. That whole
- 7:53entire charge, that whole entire shit show, was all by design.
- 7:58To make sure that Epstein was still able to move
- 8:01the way he moved. He was in touch with the
- 8:04Santa Fe County Sheriff's Office in twenty ten to determine
- 8:07whether he needed to register as a sex offender, so
- 8:10he was at least briefly on the agency's radar. He
- 8:14didn't end up needing to register. The deal he secured
- 8:17in Florida listed his victim as seventeen years old, and
- 8:21New Mexico law at the time didn't require him to
- 8:23register as a sex offender because the victim was not
- 8:26under sixteen. You see what's going on here, yet you
- 8:30pay an attention. The whole system was gamed and the
- 8:35DOJ helped do it. So if that's okay with you
- 8:39and you want to move on, go ahead, move right
- 8:41the fuck on me personally, not going to happen. Dispatch
- 8:45logs shows several other calls from Epstein's ranch over the years,
- 8:48including two hang up calls the same day on May first,
- 8:51twenty fifteen, managers told police they were testing the phones.
- 8:56According to the dispatch logs, that's possible. I'll give him
- 9:00the benefit of the doubt. They could have been doing that,
- 9:02no doubt about it. What about the other calls though?
- 9:07Other emergency calls noted in the logs include a September seventeenth,
- 9:11two thousand and two, a male of unknown age falling
- 9:14off a four wheeler, according to the log. On July
- 9:17twenty one, two thousand and eight, a sixteen year old
- 9:20girl was thrown from a horse and had lower back
- 9:23and peld his pain well. According to the log, Karen
- 9:27Gordon called nine to one one. So who was the girl?
- 9:30And what was she doing on property? Was she there
- 9:33with adult supervision? These are all questions that need to
- 9:36be answered. A handwritten file contained in the Epstein files
- 9:41alleges the Sheriff's office and Epstein had an agreement to
- 9:44limit the office scrutiny of Epstein, but the files authors
- 9:47and origins are unknown. Like I told you from the beginning,
- 9:52Jeffrey Epstein had all these people in his pocket. He
- 9:56was paying these people all kinds of money, and they
- 9:59were letting him do who basically whatever he wanted to do.
- 10:03Epstein was investigated in Florida, where he owned the house,
- 10:06beginning in two thousand and five and culminating in his
- 10:09July two thousand and six arrest. A Justice Department file
- 10:13containing handwritten notes dated February two thousand and six states
- 10:17New Mexico State Police said that they had nothing in
- 10:19their records on Epstein, and the Santa Fe County Sheriff's
- 10:22office also provided nothing. Boy, what a shit show, huh,
- 10:28both sides blaming each other, the Feds blaming the state,
- 10:31the state blaming the Feds. Meanwhile, Jeffrey Epstein gets away
- 10:34with his crimes and his buddies get to go on
- 10:37ruining the rest of our lives. Fantastic deal. However, a
- 10:43person whose name is redacted noted Epstein personally requested NOPD
- 10:47on his premises without any calls ranch As one hundred
- 10:50acres occasionally sheriff's deputies patrol area, and made note not
- 10:54to come by. So imagine that shit. Epstein doesn't want
- 10:58the police coming by his house. I wonder why you
- 11:01would think that if you had that big ass property
- 11:03in the middle of nowhere, having the cops spin by
- 11:05every now and then's a good idea, unless, of course,
- 11:08you're engaged in wholesale abuse of women and god knows
- 11:11what else. The ranch actually sits on seventy six hundred
- 11:17acres of private land. Epstein also leased roughly seventeen hundred
- 11:21adjacent acres of state and federal public lands. The rest
- 11:25of the file contained notes from interviews with victims liss
- 11:29allegations against Epstein, contain other names of associates, and one
- 11:33page lists various Florida statutes, including for unlawful sex with
- 11:37a minor. It's possible the notes were part of the
- 11:40Florida investigation underway at the time, but the New Mexican
- 11:44could not verify their origins. Mendoza said he has no
- 11:48knowledge of any such agreement having existed. A record's request
- 11:52with the Sheriff's office turned up no responsive documents. I'm
- 11:55sure it didn't. Why would they have a paper trail
- 11:58of their misconduct. It doesn't seem like a good way
- 12:02to get away with it, does it, So I doubt
- 12:05there's going to be a paper trail. But one thing
- 12:08that they can't deny is that Epstein was manipulating the
- 12:11whole situation from the NPA in Florida to not having
- 12:15to register in New Mexico. It was Jeffrey Epstein that
- 12:19was calling the shots every step of the way, and
- 12:22all these years later, they still can't answer one simple
- 12:25question why. All the information that goes with this episode
- 12:30can be found in the description box.
