- 0:00Speaker 1: And I'm recording too good. I'm happy you recall. Oh,
- 0:07Speaker 1: now you're gonna show off with a run, because you
- 0:09Speaker 1: know I can't do that. You can do it. Just
- 0:12Speaker 1: do a scare. I can do it. Just do a scare.
- 0:22Speaker 1: There you go, There you go. Thunderous follows. I miss y'allo,
- 0:31Speaker 1: where's Joel? She's hanging out with a new girl? She is,
- 0:35Speaker 1: she's right here. Little late. Oh, I thought you weren't
- 0:38Speaker 1: going to be here because of the new girl. You
- 0:40Speaker 1: said a bit late. I thought you meant, like, you know,
- 0:42Speaker 1: more than a minute. I thought I had. I thought
- 0:49Speaker 1: you might be with Zoe de Chanelle on on a
- 0:51Speaker 1: shopping trip. Person. I love to go shopping in this
- 0:55Speaker 1: climate right now, in this recession. Now's the time. Get you, y'all.
- 1:01Speaker 1: It's two hundred dollars for shoelaces. How is everybody's holiday?
- 1:05Speaker 1: Mine was horrible? No? Tell them what happened? Happened? Y'all? See,
- 1:12Speaker 1: I'm so upset about it. It's making me sound southern, y'all.
- 1:15Speaker 1: Oh what happened? But this is your upset voice? Yeah,
- 1:19Speaker 1: it was like that, like the episode we're going to
- 1:21Speaker 1: talk about when the janitor has a different voice. Well,
- 1:24Speaker 1: I'll make a very long story short. I was gonna
- 1:26Speaker 1: have a twenty pete family here, and um, Monday of
- 1:29Speaker 1: the week, I got that feeling that and I had
- 1:33Speaker 1: twenty people here. We had like I had like rental
- 1:36Speaker 1: chairs and tables coming because I can't accommodate twenty people.
- 1:38Speaker 1: It was all set up so excited. My parents were
- 1:41Speaker 1: gonna cook. People are flying in from everywhere. Monday, I
- 1:44Speaker 1: started getting the aches, you know, the aches. And then
- 1:48Speaker 1: I took a home COVID test, a home PCR COVID test,
- 1:53Speaker 1: and it tested positive, and I was so Then I
- 1:57Speaker 1: had two more right, both were negative, and I'm frantically googling, like, wait,
- 2:02Speaker 1: I thought this was a you know, it's a fancy
- 2:04Speaker 1: home test, like the best there is. It says it's
- 2:06Speaker 1: like ninety eight percent accurate. So I start texting real
- 2:09Speaker 1: jd Right, the guy who told you about that. This
- 2:12Speaker 1: my character is based on Bill's best friend from college.
- 2:15Speaker 1: So I'm texting him. I'm like, I'm sending him pictures
- 2:17Speaker 1: of all the tests. I go, what does this mean?
- 2:20Speaker 1: He goes, if you have symptoms and it's positive, You're positive, dude,
- 2:23Speaker 1: Just you just gotta let it go. But he's not
- 2:25Speaker 1: getting back to me right away because I'm like, ask
- 2:27Speaker 1: him allays questions. I'm like, I'm thinking, oh, maybe he's
- 2:29Speaker 1: like insurgery, you know, he's like a very fancy cardiac surgeon. Yeah,
- 2:33Speaker 1: and then finally he reveals to me he's at the
- 2:35Speaker 1: Clippers game with Bill come on. So anyway then, but
- 2:44Speaker 1: I still don't trust it, right So anyway, long story short,
- 2:47Speaker 1: I get I get a protest. The next day comes
- 2:49Speaker 1: back positive for flu, negative for COVID, and you see
- 2:53Speaker 1: you know this, My assistant asked the tester doctor and
- 2:56Speaker 1: he said it's possible if you have flu to get
- 2:58Speaker 1: a false positive on a COVID test, which is what
- 3:01Speaker 1: happened to me. Damn. Anyway, it didn't matter because I
- 3:05Speaker 1: still had the fucking flu, and we had to relocate
- 3:08Speaker 1: the party to my mom's house. People started canceling left
- 3:11Speaker 1: and right. That ended up with about ten people at
- 3:13Speaker 1: my mom's house. But I spent I spent a week
- 3:15Speaker 1: alone on the couch. Did someone bring you a plate
- 3:18Speaker 1: at least? Sorry? Yes, a plate was brought to me
- 3:21Speaker 1: and with a mask on, and my friends and family
- 3:24Speaker 1: were very lovely to me. But I definitely did I
- 3:27Speaker 1: feel sorry for myself? Is that the question? Yes, you know,
- 3:31Speaker 1: we joke about sickness right now, but COVID so not
- 3:34Speaker 1: rides right again, everything is the flu and COVID and
- 3:38Speaker 1: rs VS that what it's called. It's so upsetting and
- 3:43Speaker 1: it's so everywhere again, and I don't know what to
- 3:45Speaker 1: say about it other than um, then it's like a
- 3:48Speaker 1: roll of the dice when you go outside, if you're
- 3:50Speaker 1: gonna get if you're gonna get one of these things. Yeah,
- 3:54Speaker 1: I mean you got to live your life though, right Like, yeah,
- 3:58Speaker 1: you do, you do. I don't even live your life.
- 4:00Speaker 1: I'm just saying that that. Uh, everybody. When I told
- 4:04Speaker 1: this story to friends, they were like, oh, same thing
- 4:06Speaker 1: happened to my Thanksgiving everyone got COVID. We didn't have it,
- 4:09Speaker 1: or like this happened and I was someone was in
- 4:12Speaker 1: the hospital with RSV because her oxygen went down below
- 4:15Speaker 1: ninety or something oxygen cheese blood oxygen level. Yeah, she's
- 4:22Speaker 1: there's a lot going on in the world, guys. Yeah,
- 4:25Speaker 1: we don't. We don't really need to discuss all. No,
- 4:28Speaker 1: we don't need to go down the rabbit hole. I'm
- 4:29Speaker 1: just telling everyone, we're about to go make you a
- 4:32Speaker 1: funny comedy podcast for an hour. I'm just telling you,
- 4:35Speaker 1: there's a lot going on in the world. Yeah, this
- 4:37Speaker 1: shit's fucked up right now. Holy shit. I guess the
- 4:43Speaker 1: best thing to do is have a podcast where we laugh.
- 4:46Speaker 1: But fucking hell yeah, man about show we made ye?
- 5:14Speaker 1: Holy cow dude, Yo, this episode? All right, it's not
- 5:18Speaker 1: my favorite episode. I don't remember a lot of the episode,
- 5:21Speaker 1: and and I don't know if I agree necessarily with
- 5:25Speaker 1: the message of this episode, but uh, to a certain
- 5:29Speaker 1: point Elliot's outcome in the end, I was like, I
- 5:33Speaker 1: don't know about that. Man, A right, we'll get there.
- 5:35Speaker 1: We'll get there. I mean it delves into a very
- 5:38Speaker 1: very topical medical conversation, which is as euthanasia and the
- 5:44Speaker 1: and the ability of a human being, the right of
- 5:47Speaker 1: a human being to if they're terminal. Um, say, well,
- 5:51Speaker 1: I guess the conversation beyond goes beyond that. But in
- 5:53Speaker 1: the case of this episode, if someone is terminal, whether
- 5:56Speaker 1: they have the right to choose their own end and
- 5:59Speaker 1: when and when they end their lives. I mean, that's
- 6:01Speaker 1: I think it was a very good topic for Scrubs
- 6:04Speaker 1: to take on. I agree with you one hundred percent.
- 6:06Speaker 1: I you know it's a tough It's a very tough
- 6:10Speaker 1: one to take on too, because what do you do
- 6:12Speaker 1: in that situation? Are you going to be tombed inside
- 6:15Speaker 1: of your body for the rest of your life until
- 6:17Speaker 1: you die, or are you or are you going to say,
- 6:21Speaker 1: you know what, I'm going to take control of this
- 6:22Speaker 1: situation and end it now. Now, there's only a few
- 6:25Speaker 1: states I believe that allow euthanasia. Okay, when you guys
- 6:30Speaker 1: look that up, I know that I didn't can go
- 6:32Speaker 1: to jail for this and all of that stuff that
- 6:34Speaker 1: was before a few states I believe made it legal
- 6:38Speaker 1: and any I think you have to be terminal, and
- 6:39Speaker 1: I think you have to choose it, be conscious to
- 6:42Speaker 1: choose it. If I'm not mistaken this, let me ask
- 6:44Speaker 1: you a question. Was this before all of that? Oh?
- 6:48Speaker 1: Of course, well this I believe that Joel can and
- 6:52Speaker 1: Daniel can tell us. But I believe these these were passed.
- 6:55Speaker 1: These laws were passed long after scrubs. But I think
- 6:58Speaker 1: Washing I think Washington is one of the states. Washington. Yeah,
- 7:01Speaker 1: we have Oregon, Washington, DC, Hawaii, Washington State, Maine, Colorado,
- 7:08Speaker 1: New Jersey, California, and Vermont. As a way more than
- 7:12Speaker 1: I thought it more than I thought. I think Washington
- 7:17Speaker 1: State was the first I remember hearing about it. And you, well,
- 7:19Speaker 1: are the conditions such that you must be terminal and
- 7:22Speaker 1: you must be conscious to choose it? Say legal documents
- 7:26Speaker 1: that give means you ours all day. Yeah, the source
- 7:31Speaker 1: of this links to a bunch of like very long documents.
- 7:34Speaker 1: It has to be I was about to say, it
- 7:36Speaker 1: has to be somebody saying, look, I want this to happen,
- 7:40Speaker 1: and it has to be it had There's no way
- 7:42Speaker 1: because then somebody could say, look, they said to me
- 7:45Speaker 1: that they wanted it done, and so I did it. No, no, no,
- 7:49Speaker 1: that's why I remember. I remember looking it up. And
- 7:51Speaker 1: you have to prove that you're terminal, and I think
- 7:53Speaker 1: you have to say, I choose this. You can't be unconscious.
- 7:56Speaker 1: So this is very broad for all the states. Is
- 7:59Speaker 1: basically a descriptor. In some states you can be unconscious
- 8:05Speaker 1: and then a guardian can make someone you've a legal
- 8:08Speaker 1: appointed guardian. But you would have put that in a
- 8:10Speaker 1: living will. Yes, that's something to think about. By the way,
- 8:15Speaker 1: everybody who's listening, UM, sorry to be serious for a second,
- 8:19Speaker 1: but I did UM deal with this in my own
- 8:22Speaker 1: life with my with my sister. You know, what would
- 8:26Speaker 1: you want if you're if you're unconscious, um, it's something
- 8:28Speaker 1: you should put in a living will, because I certainly
- 8:32Speaker 1: would not want to be entombed in a in a
- 8:36Speaker 1: like this woman with als. I agree with her decision
- 8:42Speaker 1: in my personal point of view. It's what I would want,
- 8:45Speaker 1: But if she's unconscious, she can no longer choose it.
- 8:47Speaker 1: But I guess it's somebody you can. You can put
- 8:50Speaker 1: it in your living will, um, so that your loved
- 8:53Speaker 1: ones know what you chose. Right. Rules are not very expensive.
- 8:57Speaker 1: There's a lot of websites online where you can make
- 8:59Speaker 1: one pretty quickly, and it's just it's helpful for your
- 9:02Speaker 1: family members should the words happen, that at least they
- 9:04Speaker 1: understand that they have your you know you're what you
- 9:07Speaker 1: want to do is laid out for them, right, And
- 9:10Speaker 1: they also know that ship too. That shit, that's the motion,
- 9:14Speaker 1: that's the real deal. Didn't mind Donald, you didn't get anything.
- 9:19Speaker 1: I'm gonna love you so much that you're gonna update
- 9:20Speaker 1: that ship before you can you tell me if there's anything.
- 9:23Speaker 1: I love you so much you're gonna be like, you
- 9:25Speaker 1: know what, I feel bad that I didn't leave him anything.
- 9:27Speaker 1: I don't think there's anything of mine you'd really want.
- 9:29Speaker 1: But I don't have a PS five. Oh my god,
- 9:35Speaker 1: I don't have a PS five. I know you'd probably
- 9:37Speaker 1: want that. That would be awesome. That is on my
- 9:41Speaker 1: saddle list. All right, So look this mine? Do you guys?
- 9:44Speaker 1: I want to ask you just started to jump around?
- 9:46Speaker 1: But um on the on Scrubs wiki they rent did
- 9:49Speaker 1: you know that the Neil does the voice in a
- 9:53Speaker 1: game called Ratchett and Clank Games? Really cool? I didn't
- 9:57Speaker 1: know Clike is So this is in the trivia that
- 10:02Speaker 1: the janitor's smitten voice, you know, he does this sort
- 10:04Speaker 1: of southern voice is the same voice Neil Flynn uses
- 10:08Speaker 1: for the water worker character in the Ratchet and Clank games.
- 10:12Speaker 1: That's what a Ratchet and Clank Game's a video game.
- 10:17Speaker 1: It's kind of like Mario Brothers. Or it's like a
- 10:20Speaker 1: it's like a It's like a game where you jump
- 10:23Speaker 1: around and you stuff like that. A platformer, if you will, Yeah,
- 10:27Speaker 1: what's a platformer? It just you know, like Donald said,
- 10:30Speaker 1: a jumping from areas like Mario Brothers. Sure, it's an
- 10:34Speaker 1: adventure game. Ratchett is like a you know, like a
- 10:36Speaker 1: ratish character and clanks his little companion that sits on
- 10:39Speaker 1: his back. It's a robot that's like a backpack. Oh
- 10:42Speaker 1: you know, I love a robot. All right, Well, there
- 10:44Speaker 1: you go everyone, if you if you didn't know that
- 10:46Speaker 1: Neil Flynn is the voice of the water Catcher and
- 10:50Speaker 1: he uses that voice. I thought that was a good
- 10:52Speaker 1: piece of scrubs wicking. All right, let's get into the
- 10:55Speaker 1: show is a six. Yes, and Will mackenzie directed. He
- 10:59Speaker 1: is one of our favorite directors of the show and
- 11:02Speaker 1: most famously directed the epic musical episode. Very talented man
- 11:07Speaker 1: and his style of directing is pretty amazing because it's
- 11:12Speaker 1: always like Donald's coming in, he's happy, he can't wait
- 11:14Speaker 1: to see Carla and yeah. He would do this funny
- 11:18Speaker 1: quirk where he would sort of sum up. I mean,
- 11:20Speaker 1: it's a good technique for reminding the actors where you're
- 11:23Speaker 1: you know, what just happened, Like, yeah, here comes Donald,
- 11:26Speaker 1: He's very happy, he's just had sex with Carla and action.
- 11:34Speaker 1: He would do a little quick summary to remind you
- 11:36Speaker 1: your attitude coming into the scene. Anyway, he took on
- 11:41Speaker 1: that musical episode, which is which we all love and
- 11:43Speaker 1: is so well done, and it was you know, I
- 11:45Speaker 1: think Will has a musical theater and theater experience, so
- 11:49Speaker 1: he was the perfect man for the job. And he
- 11:51Speaker 1: loves tennis. I remember that. That's like a fun fact
- 11:54Speaker 1: for all of you out there. I remember him. You know,
- 11:56Speaker 1: Will is an older man. I hope he's still with us, Joel,
- 12:01Speaker 1: you could look that up. His son, his son was
- 12:04Speaker 1: one of my daughter and son's little league not coach,
- 12:08Speaker 1: but he helped organize the little league over here in
- 12:12Speaker 1: Sherman Oaks when they played baseball. So I used to
- 12:15Speaker 1: hear about him all the time. I believed alive he was.
- 12:20Speaker 1: He was. He was a senior fellow when he was
- 12:22Speaker 1: directing it. So I hope he's still with us. But
- 12:24Speaker 1: he played tennis, and that's when it was like, I
- 12:25Speaker 1: need to take up tennis now because if I could,
- 12:27Speaker 1: if he can play at his age, you know what
- 12:29Speaker 1: I mean. That's one of those things where it's like
- 12:32Speaker 1: I need to figure out a way to you know.
- 12:35Speaker 1: That was Will is one of the first people that
- 12:37Speaker 1: I met where I was like, I need to really
- 12:38Speaker 1: figure out what I want to do because this dude's
- 12:41Speaker 1: very active at a at a you know, at a
- 12:43Speaker 1: later part in his life. I want to be active
- 12:46Speaker 1: like that, you know what I mean? Like Harrison Ford's.
- 12:48Speaker 1: They showed pictures of Harrison Ford in this freaking Indiana Jones.
- 12:52Speaker 1: Shit he got coming out. My dude is running and
- 12:54Speaker 1: shit like part of me's like, part of me's like,
- 12:58Speaker 1: get the fuck out of here, man, Indian's speaking of Harrison.
- 13:05Speaker 1: Did you see the little little teaser they released for
- 13:08Speaker 1: Shrinking on the interwebs? I did. It's very cute. That's good.
- 13:13Speaker 1: Eight four years young eighty four? Thank god? What what?
- 13:17Speaker 1: That's good news? I love Will McKenzie, um donald. They
- 13:20Speaker 1: released that little teaser. I think January twenty seventh, audience
- 13:24Speaker 1: is the Is that correct? You? Well? Is the U?
- 13:27Speaker 1: Is the release date for Shrinking? Um? And Uh, it's
- 13:31Speaker 1: really good. I'm gonna sit with Bill actually tomorrow because
- 13:33Speaker 1: he's finally gotten around to doing his showrunner boss pass
- 13:38Speaker 1: of my episode that I directed. I'm gonna hang out
- 13:41Speaker 1: with him and um But anyway, it's very exciting, it's
- 13:44Speaker 1: very funny. Shall Did you see him last night? I
- 13:47Speaker 1: saw him for dinner last night. Yeah, you were invited,
- 13:49Speaker 1: but you couldn't find a sitner. We could not get it,
- 13:51Speaker 1: and I was with Sarah Chalk, who shockingly had like
- 13:54Speaker 1: ten You're not going to believe the stories on the
- 13:58Speaker 1: funniest one involves her. She comes she's chasing her dog
- 14:02Speaker 1: and she comes around a bit. She told the story already.
- 14:05Speaker 1: She told the story on the talk too. She told
- 14:07Speaker 1: us the story face to face with a skunk. She
- 14:10Speaker 1: said she was like a foot from its anus and
- 14:12Speaker 1: it's lasted, and it got in her mouth. She said,
- 14:16Speaker 1: it got in her eyes. Oh my god, she says.
- 14:21Speaker 1: She says that she's having like trouble with her eyes
- 14:24Speaker 1: now because of the skunk juice that's got in her eyes.
- 14:28Speaker 1: Ju is horrible. But by the way, that's just like
- 14:33Speaker 1: a normal Sarah dinner conversation for did I not talk
- 14:36Speaker 1: about this skunk? So the skunk was in my mouth
- 14:38Speaker 1: and the skunk juice got in my eyes. I was
- 14:40Speaker 1: eating dinner in the woods. And she instantly switches to
- 14:46Speaker 1: out of breath like it's like like she doesn't ramp
- 14:49Speaker 1: up into being out of breath. I'm so good. Life
- 14:54Speaker 1: is life is pretty good right now. But did I
- 14:56Speaker 1: tell you the And then the second I saw Tanis
- 15:02Speaker 1: I was sprayed in the mouth. Oh my gosh, all right,
- 15:08Speaker 1: so Dejanitor is smitten with lady. He's got a girlfriend.
- 15:11Speaker 1: He's in love, yes, and and he has a smitten voice. Also, Carla,
- 15:19Speaker 1: here's the smitten voice, and it's like, why are you
- 15:22Speaker 1: talking like that? He's like, there's must smitten voice, right,
- 15:25Speaker 1: and which prompts Carla to think, wait a second, how
- 15:28Speaker 1: does this dude have a girlfriend? Because he's so weird.
- 15:32Speaker 1: This dude is the craziest person on the planet. Yes,
- 15:35Speaker 1: easily the craziest person in the hospital. Right, he has
- 15:38Speaker 1: he has theories that just don't make any type of sense.
- 15:43Speaker 1: How did he convince this person to date her him? Yes,
- 15:46Speaker 1: she must be just so, She's like, she must be
- 15:49Speaker 1: just like him. Carlo does a little research. Ladies normal, right,
- 15:54Speaker 1: we know that Carla is a gossip and loves to
- 15:56Speaker 1: get it up in everybody's business. She can't find anyone
- 15:59Speaker 1: that wants to go as up with her about this,
- 16:01Speaker 1: so she finds Kelso, who is who is on his
- 16:04Speaker 1: way out. He's like, he's Kelso's won them. Yeah, he's
- 16:08Speaker 1: passed his prime in the hospital. He's like a couple
- 16:12Speaker 1: of like a year from retirement at this point. If
- 16:16Speaker 1: you all recall, uh kelso just turned what was it sis,
- 16:23Speaker 1: He's being edged out. He's got to get he's got
- 16:25Speaker 1: to get he's got to get out. And um and
- 16:27Speaker 1: and so we learned that he's finishing the last Harry
- 16:31Speaker 1: Potter book, and um, anyone that tells him the ending,
- 16:35Speaker 1: he's gonna draw Harry Potter glasses on which he does
- 16:38Speaker 1: to Doug, and Carla says, listen, I know you're not
- 16:42Speaker 1: gonna draw glasses. I mean, let's be honest. We know
- 16:44Speaker 1: that shit's not going down. So I know whether Harry
- 16:48Speaker 1: lived or died. So you might want to get on
- 16:50Speaker 1: my train with me of investigating whether the janitor is
- 16:55Speaker 1: lying to this woman or what the hell's going on here?
- 16:57Speaker 1: And he agrees, and and so that that's one of
- 17:00Speaker 1: the main storylines. The other main storyline is that Turke
- 17:04Speaker 1: and Cocks are timing each other, they're competing with JD
- 17:09Speaker 1: learns that Turke and Cocks have this whole competition guy
- 17:12Speaker 1: you know, stereotypic guy competition thing where they're always timing
- 17:17Speaker 1: each other and seeing who can beat one another over
- 17:20Speaker 1: lots of things. This in particular example is is seeing
- 17:25Speaker 1: how long they can stay in a room with a
- 17:27Speaker 1: patient as a fungal infection. They're calling it smelly belly,
- 17:31Speaker 1: nolly belly and Jad. The funniest part was with JD
- 17:37Speaker 1: can't last a split section seconds. It walks right out right.
- 17:44Speaker 1: And so we set up the idea of compstant competition
- 17:47Speaker 1: and um, we know that JD has never really won anything. Um,
- 17:51Speaker 1: and we see a flashback in which a group of
- 17:55Speaker 1: jocks and throw him in his mullet. Yeah, so this
- 17:58Speaker 1: is this is where it gets. It's a little so
- 18:02Speaker 1: we're to believe as an audience. Yes, first of all,
- 18:07Speaker 1: we finally get the origin story. Let's just the origin story.
- 18:13Speaker 1: This is JD's. This is the moment where JD was
- 18:15Speaker 1: like a doctor. That's oh right, I forgot that he
- 18:19Speaker 1: says that. And no, because he's thrown, you think they're
- 18:22Speaker 1: It's funny because when you first see the shot, it
- 18:24Speaker 1: looks like like the football players are like cheering him
- 18:27Speaker 1: like rudy, you know, like yeah, and my mullet's flopping
- 18:31Speaker 1: up and down. I'm so happy. And then they throw
- 18:34Speaker 1: me and we learned that it's a nerd toss. Yes,
- 18:38Speaker 1: oh my god. And I say, guys, I think they're
- 18:43Speaker 1: nerd and I and I won. I'm excited because they
- 18:47Speaker 1: threw me further. But I look at they suck it
- 18:49Speaker 1: bitch to the and I look at the other nerd
- 18:52Speaker 1: and I go, guys, I think their nerd is unconscious.
- 18:56Speaker 1: We should probably roll them over. Yes, and that's when
- 19:00Speaker 1: Donald's right. J D says that that's when he decided
- 19:03Speaker 1: to become a doctor. To become a doctor, that's crazy,
- 19:11Speaker 1: that's funny. Though it took seven we got I think
- 19:15Speaker 1: their nerd is unconscious. Okay, we're gonna go to a
- 19:20Speaker 1: break and come back, and you're not gonna believe what
- 19:22Speaker 1: we're gonna talk about, including White Load of season two.
- 19:25Speaker 1: All right, we'll be right. Wait are we gonna talk
- 19:26Speaker 1: about White Load of season two? That's all? That's all.
- 19:29Speaker 1: Casey's watching his wife. I'm finding you're not gonna watch it,
- 19:32Speaker 1: but dale are going to talk about right, No way,
- 19:34Speaker 1: I'm watching any of this ship. And we're back. We
- 19:45Speaker 1: are back. We are back. Thank you for joining us, audience.
- 19:47Speaker 1: We're so happy you listen to us every week. It
- 19:50Speaker 1: means a lot to us. We just want to make
- 19:52Speaker 1: you laugh. It's the holiday time. People get down in
- 19:54Speaker 1: the dumps. It's a tricky time for a lot of people,
- 19:57Speaker 1: and we hope you join us to just have a
- 19:58Speaker 1: little giggle and and and be an escape for you, right, Donald,
- 20:02Speaker 1: you know that's all I really want in life is
- 20:04Speaker 1: for people to I became an actor for that reason alone,
- 20:08Speaker 1: to entertain amen, make you laugh, and to make dedicated
- 20:12Speaker 1: to our We've dedicated our lives to at least attempting
- 20:16Speaker 1: attempting to make you laugh. Right, And if we do
- 20:19Speaker 1: that in this hour and change an hour and a half, yeah,
- 20:24Speaker 1: we'll see how we feel. So just a quick white
- 20:27Speaker 1: loadus too. Sorry. I know you're not watching it. Donald,
- 20:29Speaker 1: your view, Dale and Joel, I'm not Curry. I haven't
- 20:32Speaker 1: started it yet. Yeah, ain't nobody watching that ship? All right?
- 20:35Speaker 1: But I watched season one. I watched this one, so
- 20:37Speaker 1: I am interested in season two. Well, the listeners listening
- 20:40Speaker 1: who who are watching, wish that we could go down
- 20:42Speaker 1: a rabbit hole. This season is so good. I'm so
- 20:45Speaker 1: happy that we cannot go down this rap. I text
- 20:48Speaker 1: with Casey about it because she's the only person that
- 20:50Speaker 1: I can see deep in it. And yeah, text she does.
- 20:55Speaker 1: You know I'm gonna be honest with you, man. You
- 20:57Speaker 1: guys text a lot well, not like not like a
- 21:01Speaker 1: concerning amount. Well, it is concerning when I look at
- 21:04Speaker 1: my text messages and there's eighty texts. Well, by the way,
- 21:07Speaker 1: by the way, when he says we text a lot,
- 21:09Speaker 1: say anything. By the way, when he says we text
- 21:11Speaker 1: a lot, mind you, ninety nine percent of it is
- 21:13Speaker 1: on a group chat with me, him and Casey and
- 21:16Speaker 1: and and and we when Casey and I don't care
- 21:19Speaker 1: that Donald's not fucking chiming in, We'll just go down
- 21:21Speaker 1: on wormhole about White Lotus. But did you guys just
- 21:25Speaker 1: go down everything everything, and then Donald just won't participate.
- 21:28Speaker 1: And then occasionally you'll put like a heart emoji, you know, like,
- 21:37Speaker 1: then what I really But then when I'm really like
- 21:39Speaker 1: all I'm not gonna bother Donald right now, and all
- 21:41Speaker 1: I want to talk about is like a TV show
- 21:42Speaker 1: that I know Casey and I are watching. Then we
- 21:44Speaker 1: switch to just us and we talk about about we
- 21:47Speaker 1: talked about White Lotus season two, and and and I
- 21:51Speaker 1: send her like like people echo off on these long
- 21:53Speaker 1: essays and conspiracies about what's happening and it's so good. Wait,
- 21:57Speaker 1: so is this I thought this was the one? Uh?
- 22:01Speaker 1: Cannavali and Regina Hall and no, no, no, no Lotus. No,
- 22:06Speaker 1: that's a difference. But Jennifer Coolidge isn't that one too right?
- 22:10Speaker 1: I think she may might be. Jennifer cool is having
- 22:14Speaker 1: quite a moment and I'm happy for She's so funny.
- 22:18Speaker 1: But anyway, the only, yeah, the only, um, the only.
- 22:21Speaker 1: It's it's about a it's about you know. Season two
- 22:23Speaker 1: is about a different It's like the White Lotus Hotel
- 22:25Speaker 1: is is a very you know, fancy resort hotel. The
- 22:28Speaker 1: first season took place at one hotel, and in season
- 22:31Speaker 1: two you follow Jennifer Coolige's character she goes to a
- 22:33Speaker 1: different one and another story. What's so important about the
- 22:36Speaker 1: White Lotus Hotel? Um, it's just a fan you know.
- 22:39Speaker 1: Think of it like Ritz Carltony is like a very
- 22:41Speaker 1: expensive luxury. Guys are watching The Love Boat. I just
- 22:43Speaker 1: want you to know that. Yeah, not The Love Boat.
- 22:48Speaker 1: It's written by Mike White. He's a he's a national treasure.
- 22:51Speaker 1: He's a genius writer. And uh, I really highly recommend
- 22:54Speaker 1: it to people. It's what season two. Repliza loves Aubrey
- 23:02Speaker 1: Plaza is so talented and so funny. Michael Imperioli, my
- 23:06Speaker 1: buddy is in this season and he's incredible. All the
- 23:09Speaker 1: actors are great, the actors across the board. Takes place
- 23:12Speaker 1: in Italy, so some of the cast is Italian and
- 23:14Speaker 1: by the way, it makes you want to go. It
- 23:16Speaker 1: takes place in Sicily and every shot you're like, I
- 23:19Speaker 1: gotta go to Sicily. It's so beautiful. Donald, you were
- 23:23Speaker 1: thinking of The Watcher. That's a Netflix show, and yes, okay, yeah,
- 23:28Speaker 1: that's the one with Right, No, No, that's Naomi wats them.
- 23:38Speaker 1: You got Australia, Right, you got Australia, Right, Naomi wat
- 23:41Speaker 1: No Me and Barrow, Margot Martindale. What's the one with
- 23:45Speaker 1: what's the one with uh with Nicole Kidman? Are you
- 23:50Speaker 1: thinking that's Oh, that's a different one with Bobby Kill
- 23:56Speaker 1: And that's the one where she's like a one and
- 24:00Speaker 1: they go on a retreat. Damn she really yeah she is.
- 24:04Speaker 1: They're like five actors working. Yes, she also got a campaign.
- 24:07Speaker 1: I saw far she was like, she's a kind of
- 24:09Speaker 1: in a moment. Let's get back to the television show Scrubs.
- 24:12Speaker 1: Donald Face, great show. Great so. Also, Kelso reveals that
- 24:17Speaker 1: uh that he's signed Sacred Heart up for a doctor
- 24:21Speaker 1: rating website called rate your doc dot org, and I
- 24:25Speaker 1: learned on scrubs Wiki that they actually made this website,
- 24:28Speaker 1: the writers or Disney TV. And I looked for it.
- 24:32Speaker 1: It's not still up anymore, but at the time they
- 24:34Speaker 1: made it a real website. And then I started realizing
- 24:36Speaker 1: that this episode is sort of bills uh, reaction to
- 24:42Speaker 1: the beginning of like negative comments about things on the
- 24:46Speaker 1: internet and and trolling and and and being me saying
- 24:50Speaker 1: that's what I'm talking about withactly something I said on
- 24:53Speaker 1: the show all the time as a well you still
- 24:56Speaker 1: say ad lib, right, I say it. I say it
- 24:59Speaker 1: on the on this all the time as well. Right,
- 25:01Speaker 1: that's what I'm We had a fucking the sound orsi
- 25:04Speaker 1: That's what I'm talking about. That, Right, That's what I'm
- 25:07Speaker 1: talking about. Right, I said that all the time, and
- 25:12Speaker 1: people did not like it, sort of like, well, no,
- 25:14Speaker 1: but when you say people, I just want to be
- 25:16Speaker 1: careful about how you the semantics he used when you
- 25:19Speaker 1: say people did not like everybody there are there are
- 25:22Speaker 1: tens of millions of people watching Scrubs at the time,
- 25:26Speaker 1: and you're like, people did not like it, and that
- 25:28Speaker 1: probably meant like maybe two people wrote a comment, Right,
- 25:32Speaker 1: that's exactly what that's exactly what it means. Although I
- 25:35Speaker 1: will say this, when the Fortnite ship went down, it
- 25:39Speaker 1: wasn't just two people. It was way more than that.
- 25:42Speaker 1: It was like when every twelve year old boy on
- 25:44Speaker 1: the planet, I want to read you something, kind of
- 25:46Speaker 1: read you something. Yeah, sure, we don't even mind if
- 25:48Speaker 1: we had a brief story time. You're excited about this
- 25:51Speaker 1: breaking out a book. Let me tell this is an
- 25:54Speaker 1: amazing book. I recommend everyone listening. It's called Tools of
- 25:57Speaker 1: Titans by Tim Ferris, and Tim Ferris is a very
- 26:01Speaker 1: smart man and he basically interviews some of the greatest
- 26:05Speaker 1: minds in everything. It's it's very easy to read, perfect
- 26:08Speaker 1: for next year toilet because it's just interviews. It's like
- 26:10Speaker 1: question answer, question answer all over the spectrum of talented people.
- 26:15Speaker 1: But this is something I read that he wrote that
- 26:17Speaker 1: about getting comments and feedback on the internet that I
- 26:22Speaker 1: thought was helpful. It says ten percent of people will
- 26:26Speaker 1: find a way to take anything personally, expect it and
- 26:30Speaker 1: treat it as math. Particularly as you build an audience,
- 26:34Speaker 1: this ten percent can turn into a big number. Mentally,
- 26:36Speaker 1: prepare yourself before publishing anything. Oh, I have a thousand readers. Now,
- 26:41Speaker 1: that means one hundred are going to respond like assholes,
- 26:45Speaker 1: not because I'm bad, not because they're bad, because that's
- 26:48Speaker 1: how the math works. If you anticipate it, it will
- 26:51Speaker 1: throw you off less. On top of that, I assume
- 26:53Speaker 1: that one percent of my fans are completely batshit crazy,
- 26:57Speaker 1: just like the general population. Helps me handle the far
- 27:01Speaker 1: scarier stuff. If you wrongly assume that everyone is going
- 27:05Speaker 1: to respond with smiles and high fives, you're gonna get slapped.
- 27:08Speaker 1: You'll respond pulsively, and you'll triple the damage wise words
- 27:14Speaker 1: right there, because you know what, at one point in
- 27:17Speaker 1: my life, I think, I think at one point in
- 27:19Speaker 1: everybody's life, they thought, you know, when I put this out,
- 27:22Speaker 1: everybody's gonna love it. And then when the response, and
- 27:25Speaker 1: then when the response wasn't that it changes you, right?
- 27:31Speaker 1: But this episode, I think is I saw as Bill's
- 27:34Speaker 1: kind of working in his initial reactions to the Internet.
- 27:39Speaker 1: I think this was two thousand and seven, I believe,
- 27:41Speaker 1: Joel and yeah, so this was Bill's I think this
- 27:46Speaker 1: was Bill digesting negative feedback from the Internet for the
- 27:50Speaker 1: first time and weaving the concept into an episode. Yeah. Yeah,
- 27:56Speaker 1: because Cox being bald and then having hair. That was
- 28:00Speaker 1: all something that happened on the show, Yes, because yes
- 28:03Speaker 1: there was a comment. Um, Johnny, see what was the
- 28:06Speaker 1: reason he was bald again? I forgot I raybe was
- 28:09Speaker 1: for another part or maybe he just did it randomly.
- 28:11Speaker 1: Then all of a sudden he had hair again. And
- 28:13Speaker 1: and that was in Scrubs wiki too. Let me see
- 28:15Speaker 1: that it says, uh, doctor Cox mentions a comment on
- 28:19Speaker 1: rate your doc dot org saying what's up with doctor
- 28:21Speaker 1: Cox's hair? One week he's bald, the next he looks
- 28:24Speaker 1: like Shirley Temple. Signed to Michelle M. This is a
- 28:28Speaker 1: fan in joke mocking doctor Cox's temporary baldness in my
- 28:34Speaker 1: nights remember and the fans reactually and if I'm not mistaken, um,
- 28:37Speaker 1: one of the one of the biggest thorns in Bill's
- 28:39Speaker 1: side was a Michelle M. I think who would who
- 28:43Speaker 1: was constantly who is constantly trolling Bill? That's funny response.
- 28:50Speaker 1: I think they gave Michelle M a shout out. You know,
- 28:56Speaker 1: you know, I always forget what the haters gonna do.
- 29:03Speaker 1: You always fucking reminds me what are they gonna do? Taylor?
- 29:08Speaker 1: They're gonna hate hate everyone's posting their Spotify thing and
- 29:11Speaker 1: I'm I'm afraid to post mine because I'm sure it's
- 29:13Speaker 1: mostly tailor's FoST everyone's. Man, that ship grew on me. Hey,
- 29:18Speaker 1: I told you it's so good. Hey time everybody grees
- 29:27Speaker 1: that shit is fired. Dude, it's not like an asshole
- 29:30Speaker 1: right now, but that is fie. Oh, you don't sound
- 29:32Speaker 1: like an asshole because everyone's posting their Spotify things and
- 29:35Speaker 1: they're showing all these cool bands that they're listening to,
- 29:37Speaker 1: and and I'm like, damn, I don't think I could
- 29:39Speaker 1: post mine. I don't be like that's all right, man,
- 29:43Speaker 1: post your Tailor, dude, post your Taylor Swift. That album
- 29:47Speaker 1: is fire. Do you know that they she shut down
- 29:49Speaker 1: um ticketmaster because she didn't shut down ticket match Ticketmaster fy,
- 29:53Speaker 1: I know. I'm just saying, like, it's pretty just amazing. Um,
- 29:57Speaker 1: she had a stadium tour planned and they like like
- 30:00Speaker 1: a million people in the verified fan line, and there
- 30:05Speaker 1: was so much demand that it like it broke the system. Yes, yeah,
- 30:10Speaker 1: and then now people who have tickets are selling tickets.
- 30:14Speaker 1: I know, I know, dude. I know someone who got
- 30:18Speaker 1: it to that. I know someone who got a ticket
- 30:21Speaker 1: because they were in the line for eight out in
- 30:22Speaker 1: the virtual line for eight hours, and and she said
- 30:27Speaker 1: that her not even a good seat, but just in
- 30:29Speaker 1: the fucking stadium. She said, her area is selling for
- 30:33Speaker 1: ten thousand dollars a ticket right now. Jeez wow, she said,
- 30:37Speaker 1: But I'm not selling it's me. We gonna go, We're
- 30:42Speaker 1: gonna go. How the fuck are we go? I'm not
- 30:44Speaker 1: spitting that type of I'm sorry. Sorry. Listen between I
- 30:48Speaker 1: heeart and between iHeart and and Cia, We're gonna find
- 30:52Speaker 1: a way to get our It's gonna be like, that's
- 30:53Speaker 1: gonna be half the budget of the show. Guys, you
- 30:58Speaker 1: know you know what I hurled. They'll say yes, and
- 31:01Speaker 1: then all of a sudden we'll get charged back, like
- 31:02Speaker 1: forty thousand dollars. What is this the Taylor tickets? Remember
- 31:09Speaker 1: we're going, We're going. When is the LA one of
- 31:11Speaker 1: the LA shows? August Joel, We're all right, we're doing
- 31:17Speaker 1: a field trip. We're doing a field trip. I'm waiting
- 31:20Speaker 1: on line for three hours to not get tickets. Did
- 31:23Speaker 1: you would not correct? Listen, if you would have got tickets,
- 31:28Speaker 1: would you have sold them? If they were like one thing?
- 31:30Speaker 1: Oh no, I'm trying to go. You guys, you guys,
- 31:33Speaker 1: I'm here. I'm gonna declare right now, I'm put I'm
- 31:35Speaker 1: putting it into the ether. I will pull whatever strings
- 31:38Speaker 1: I have. This is an expensive string, buddy. No, I'm
- 31:42Speaker 1: not gonna spends a hard ticket, but Joel Daniel Donald Um,
- 31:46Speaker 1: and we'll probably have to invite casey Um. We're gonna go.
- 31:51Speaker 1: We're gonna go to Taylor's concern. Okay, Okay, gonna ask
- 31:54Speaker 1: you a question. Are we getting on stage with Taylor?
- 31:56Speaker 1: I don't. I don't have that kind of power, but
- 32:04Speaker 1: I don't think she's going to invite him. Have you
- 32:06Speaker 1: ever been on a stage with somebody? Yes, Josh Raydon Um, No,
- 32:14Speaker 1: I think the only time I've everybone on stage with
- 32:16Speaker 1: a band performing and like they called me out. Oh
- 32:19Speaker 1: wait once did I tell you this story that I
- 32:21Speaker 1: told you that Howard stern birthday party, Errol Smith was performing. Okay,
- 32:27Speaker 1: story and I could show you the still I have
- 32:29Speaker 1: on my phone. It's hilarious. And Steven Tyler's like, come
- 32:32Speaker 1: on up on stage and he starts um because it
- 32:35Speaker 1: was like the big finale at Howard Stern's birthday party.
- 32:38Speaker 1: This was so many years ago. But he goes come
- 32:40Speaker 1: up on stage and Slash is I think it was Slash.
- 32:42Speaker 1: It wasn't the full Arrowsmith fan. It was like it
- 32:45Speaker 1: was like a you know, master group, what do you
- 32:47Speaker 1: call the supergroup? But it was I remember that it
- 32:49Speaker 1: was Steven Tyler and Slash at least. And Steven Tyler's
- 32:53Speaker 1: calling people out on the audience like come on up stage,
- 32:56Speaker 1: Robert Downey Junior, come on up on stage, Zach Braff
- 32:58Speaker 1: and it's every naming the celebrities from on stage. Well
- 33:01Speaker 1: I was the only dude who fucking ran up there. Yeah,
- 33:10Speaker 1: so I'll show you a picture, you guys. It's literally
- 33:13Speaker 1: it's literally Steven Tyler, Slash me, Howard Stern and Robin
- 33:19Speaker 1: I love it. I love it. That's amazing. But the
- 33:26Speaker 1: rush that you feel, let me see it so I
- 33:29Speaker 1: could easily find it for you guys. The rush that
- 33:31Speaker 1: you feel when you look out into the audience is phenomenal.
- 33:35Speaker 1: All right. So when I was younger, I was in
- 33:37Speaker 1: this group, not a group, but like this. It was
- 33:39Speaker 1: like a youth organization called City Kids. It was a
- 33:42Speaker 1: you know, a non for profit organization where that gave
- 33:46Speaker 1: young people a voice and we did a bunch of
- 33:48Speaker 1: shows and through art and stuff like that through the
- 33:51Speaker 1: arts and stuff like that, right, and we got to
- 33:55Speaker 1: go on we got to do shows with like big
- 33:57Speaker 1: time celebrities and stuff like that. And we got invited
- 34:00Speaker 1: to go and do a Madison Square Garden date with
- 34:03Speaker 1: Gloria Estefan And all we had to do was go
- 34:06Speaker 1: out on stage with Gloria Estefan and sing coming out
- 34:10Speaker 1: of the Dark when that song comes, when that song
- 34:13Speaker 1: came out, like you know, this was our comeback. Shit. Yeah,
- 34:15Speaker 1: So we did this set the garden two nights in
- 34:17Speaker 1: a row. And let me tell you something. The energy
- 34:19Speaker 1: that you feel when you walk on the stage and
- 34:21Speaker 1: these motherfuckers is yelling for you. They don't even know
- 34:24Speaker 1: who you are, and you can ye that feeling, that rush.
- 34:32Speaker 1: I get why all these motherfuckers be up on stage
- 34:36Speaker 1: put their hands out in the you know, to the side.
- 34:42Speaker 1: I can't imagine high or high. We forget any venue,
- 34:45Speaker 1: but let's just for the sake of the extreme, go
- 34:48Speaker 1: to the stadium version of this. I've seen cold Play
- 34:50Speaker 1: a few times. They got they build a giant bridge
- 34:53Speaker 1: that goes all the way the length of the whole
- 34:55Speaker 1: field area and Chris Martin singing Fix You and just
- 34:59Speaker 1: as like the beat kicks in, starts sprinting down the bridge,
- 35:03Speaker 1: jumps into the air as full Pyro comes out of
- 35:06Speaker 1: the top of the stadium, Like, is there a more
- 35:09Speaker 1: fucking powerful thing than a stadium full of people singing
- 35:13Speaker 1: your song? And you're playing magician in front of them too,
- 35:16Speaker 1: you know what I'm making playing Piro? Oh my god,
- 35:22Speaker 1: I just can't imagine. There's an art form where you
- 35:25Speaker 1: like where you, where you that's a higher And that's
- 35:27Speaker 1: why everybody wants to be a rock star, right or
- 35:29Speaker 1: a music musical star, you know, because you get that
- 35:31Speaker 1: freaking that rush. Man, That shit is real, man, Like
- 35:34Speaker 1: I get the addiction, and it's spiritual. It's spiritual. And
- 35:37Speaker 1: people people their favorite artists. When they go see their
- 35:39Speaker 1: favorite artists, that's church. They're they're there, their their whole
- 35:42Speaker 1: soul is connected to it. You know, people are crying,
- 35:45Speaker 1: people are laughing, people are just it's it's it's it's there.
- 35:49Speaker 1: The performer is godlike yeah, And you know who's really
- 35:54Speaker 1: always touched is the youth. The youth are the ones
- 35:57Speaker 1: that are always crying and shit, because you never seen
- 36:00Speaker 1: crying like at a backstreet concert or like at a
- 36:03Speaker 1: like had an InSync concert or at like a freaking
- 36:06Speaker 1: you'd seen young girls cry concert, That's what I'm saying.
- 36:09Speaker 1: You don't never see nobody crying like that. Like that's well,
- 36:13Speaker 1: look at the Beatles, remember those women, those people they're
- 36:18Speaker 1: just not performing because it was like wasn't safe, right,
- 36:21Speaker 1: what happened? Surely died last night? No Beatles concert? Well
- 36:25Speaker 1: you know the Beatles like literally were like, we can't tour.
- 36:27Speaker 1: It's just not it's just not logistically. How does she die?
- 36:32Speaker 1: She died from excitement. She had love in her heart
- 36:38Speaker 1: and it killed her. Like all right, so listen, um
- 36:45Speaker 1: Elliot's patient Shannon has als and it's deteriorating quickly. She
- 36:50Speaker 1: can't weave her legs anymore. She's um she's I don't
- 36:53Speaker 1: remember this patient. I thought this was going to be
- 36:56Speaker 1: the patient that was too skinny, but it's not. This
- 36:58Speaker 1: is somebody else. I don't remember this. She must have
- 37:01Speaker 1: been there, she must have come back. I don't remember.
- 37:04Speaker 1: It feels like we're treating her like she's been on before.
- 37:07Speaker 1: So I guess she's back. Okay. She had a funeral
- 37:10Speaker 1: for herself, um uh to invite people so she could
- 37:17Speaker 1: be present. For her her funeral, although she didn't get
- 37:20Speaker 1: in the casket, and j D says something about a
- 37:23Speaker 1: vampire that I forgot right. Yeah, he was like did
- 37:26Speaker 1: you get in the casket? And she was like yeah
- 37:30Speaker 1: and no she said no okay, and then the end
- 37:34Speaker 1: then Jad's like, They're like, who would do that? Nelly?
- 37:36Speaker 1: And then Jad's like a vampire. I don't know, only
- 37:41Speaker 1: a vampire it would do that, a vampire something like that.
- 37:46Speaker 1: We know that Jad likes vampires. So the the stats
- 37:50Speaker 1: from the the competition come out on rate You Rate
- 37:53Speaker 1: your Doctor organ, Jad is finally number one, He's won something.
- 37:57Speaker 1: He's the number one doctor. Yeah, this is what we
- 37:59Speaker 1: find doubt. All of this shit that that Cox and
- 38:02Speaker 1: Turk are doing are for our website, and you find
- 38:05Speaker 1: out that the whole hospital's kind of up on this.
- 38:07Speaker 1: So the Todd's on a different website than everybody else.
- 38:10Speaker 1: I think, which we assume is rate your cock dot
- 38:12Speaker 1: com or right Rachel Cock or Rachel Rachel Dick. Well,
- 38:16Speaker 1: I think cock. Don't you think that cock is a
- 38:20Speaker 1: Don't you think cock is the more obvious mistake that
- 38:23Speaker 1: he's on Dick? I mean, is the d close to
- 38:26Speaker 1: the seat or that it rhymes it's right above it.
- 38:29Speaker 1: It's right above it. It's right above it. Are you
- 38:33Speaker 1: looking at your keyboard? I am, I am yboard? Okay,
- 38:40Speaker 1: So everyone's competing, and um J Cox and uh Turk,
- 38:46Speaker 1: who are the most competitive mofos um don't not they don't.
- 38:51Speaker 1: They can't heal it. They can't, So they're gonna They're
- 38:53Speaker 1: gonna sabotage j D. It's too much for JD to
- 38:56Speaker 1: be number one at anything because j D doesn't compete anything,
- 39:00Speaker 1: but he But you know what I like about this?
- 39:02Speaker 1: You do learn you know, you see Jad being so silly.
- 39:05Speaker 1: You know he's a good do you assume he's a
- 39:06Speaker 1: good doctor, But this is the first time you actually
- 39:08Speaker 1: see that. Like, No, his patients loved this guy more
- 39:12Speaker 1: than any other doctor in the hospital, which I thought
- 39:14Speaker 1: was a nice moment because there's so much of JD
- 39:16Speaker 1: meaning a goofball, and we infer that he's a good
- 39:18Speaker 1: doctor because he's so he's so passionate and he's so
- 39:21Speaker 1: emotional and so connected. But this was kind of like, oh,
- 39:24Speaker 1: the entire patient population who participated in this picked him
- 39:28Speaker 1: is number one. Yes, and he does a dance. You
- 39:33Speaker 1: like the little dance. I do my number one doctor dance.
- 39:36Speaker 1: No you didn't like that. No show was fire. And
- 39:40Speaker 1: then I go and then I go to my cell phone,
- 39:41Speaker 1: call mommy, mommy. He goes, have to make a quick
- 39:47Speaker 1: call call and then I kind of whish, I go
- 39:48Speaker 1: call loudly. Then I go, mommy. There's nothing like calling
- 39:55Speaker 1: her mom and telling her you were number one. Though
- 39:57Speaker 1: it's great, of course call. I love calling my mom
- 40:01Speaker 1: and telling her good news. That's always the best. Mom.
- 40:04Speaker 1: I got the part, Yeah, Mama got the part. Mom,
- 40:06Speaker 1: you's sitting down? I always do that, She like out
- 40:09Speaker 1: of the movies, Mom, are you sitting down all right?
- 40:16Speaker 1: So jd um so sorry, So Shannon, we learned um
- 40:20Speaker 1: it seems tried to overdose and she didn't. She tried
- 40:25Speaker 1: she used the wrong medication, and Elliott says yes. Before
- 40:30Speaker 1: Elliott realizes excuse me that she was trying overdose, she says,
- 40:33Speaker 1: you know, if you'd taken why medicine instead of ex medicine,
- 40:37Speaker 1: you could have really, you know, hurt yourself. Yeah, and
- 40:40Speaker 1: then and and and she says, I'm gonna have to
- 40:42Speaker 1: tell Gail, who's her her nurse that's watching over her,
- 40:45Speaker 1: that you've did this to watch out for you. And
- 40:47Speaker 1: then we see Gail flying. Um, JD is helping it
- 40:51Speaker 1: look like Gail is flying well because Shannon doesn't want
- 40:55Speaker 1: to stay with Gail. Here's the thing. She likes her,
- 40:58Speaker 1: but she's just a little too much, right And Eliot's
- 41:01Speaker 1: like what And then she points to the door and
- 41:06Speaker 1: Gail is flying, yes, in a very funny manners, silly
- 41:10Speaker 1: like j D. And Elliot's like, what the how? How
- 41:13Speaker 1: is she? How is the wind? How is she able
- 41:16Speaker 1: to do? The hair and the cape flapping and in
- 41:18Speaker 1: the and then the scar right in the scar flapping
- 41:21Speaker 1: And we cut to JD with a fan and he's
- 41:24Speaker 1: like our next next. Yeah, So she's she's silly like
- 41:33Speaker 1: j D. Right, Okay, then does that mean she's a
- 41:36Speaker 1: great doctor or a great caretaker? Also because people people
- 41:40Speaker 1: seem to love j D. We don't know. We just
- 41:42Speaker 1: know that she's silly like j D and um and
- 41:45Speaker 1: and I think it's safe to say that that Shannon
- 41:47Speaker 1: isn't in the mood for anybody silly. Shannon wants to
- 41:50Speaker 1: be left alone and end her life and she's stuck
- 41:53Speaker 1: with this silly fun nurse. The janitor is wearing argyle
- 41:59Speaker 1: because he's going all in on convincing lady that he's normal. Yes,
- 42:06Speaker 1: and that's what this Yeah, and that's what this whole
- 42:09Speaker 1: episode boils down to, Like what is normal? What is
- 42:12Speaker 1: is it normal to? Is it normal to say this,
- 42:15Speaker 1: I want to take control of my life and end it. Now?
- 42:17Speaker 1: Who's to say that I can't do that? Is it
- 42:19Speaker 1: normal to? You know? Is who I am, who I
- 42:22Speaker 1: project in front of you guys, in front of everyone?
- 42:25Speaker 1: Is that all right too? Is it all right for
- 42:27Speaker 1: me to be that person? Or? Yes? You know that
- 42:30Speaker 1: is the theme. That is the theme, and and and
- 42:33Speaker 1: um and and also in the spirit of them getting
- 42:36Speaker 1: trolled and getting commented on as doctors for the first
- 42:39Speaker 1: time again this being like an early commentary for for
- 42:42Speaker 1: Bill and the writers of like getting online critique like, oh,
- 42:48Speaker 1: you know, what is the best version of myself? Am
- 42:50Speaker 1: I supposed to? Am I supposed to do what what
- 42:52Speaker 1: I want to do as the creator? Or am I
- 42:54Speaker 1: supposed to take the critique from the internet and change show?
- 43:01Speaker 1: I find it hilarious. I'm Bill quote being Bill quote unquote.
- 43:05Speaker 1: I Bill find it hilarious when Donald says that's what
- 43:09Speaker 1: I'm talking about are you telling me that I am
- 43:10Speaker 1: I supposed to change and be something, to do something
- 43:12Speaker 1: that I don't think is funny as the comedy writer.
- 43:14Speaker 1: Because of your comments, I just thought, you know, it's
- 43:16Speaker 1: all of that. It's all those layers of wrestling with
- 43:19Speaker 1: like do I be me? Or do I or I
- 43:21Speaker 1: be something that you want me to be? Right? You
- 43:23Speaker 1: know what I mean? You know what I'm saying. I
- 43:25Speaker 1: don't know what you're saying. It's a very powerful episode.
- 43:28Speaker 1: Not necessarily my favorite episode, as probably that wasn't the funniest.
- 43:31Speaker 1: It wasn't the funniest, but a lot of great messages
- 43:33Speaker 1: in this show and a lot of what we're dealing
- 43:35Speaker 1: with today. Well, and it's very timely too, because I
- 43:37Speaker 1: imagine in two thousand and seven when this came out,
- 43:39Speaker 1: it was like, you know, this was a new this
- 43:42Speaker 1: was the new phase of the of the internet. I mean,
- 43:44Speaker 1: I'm not sure what you did. Twitter come out, um
- 43:48Speaker 1: nine two years later from two thousand and seven at Yeah,
- 43:53Speaker 1: but it was happening on MySpace and Facebook and still
- 43:56Speaker 1: I mean already but then Twitter game in fucking nuclear
- 43:59Speaker 1: bomb the whole thing. Yeah, that was the that was
- 44:01Speaker 1: the weapon that was the one. Anyway, we have any
- 44:05Speaker 1: predictions about whether Twitter is gonna last, Daniel, you're our
- 44:08Speaker 1: tech expert. Oh gee, um? Yeah, I mean, like, I
- 44:12Speaker 1: think Twitter will just become a less and less safe
- 44:15Speaker 1: place in terms of your privacy, your data and stuff
- 44:18Speaker 1: like that. So I would suggest maybe not dming anyone
- 44:21Speaker 1: private information anymore. Right, It would have to lose a
- 44:24Speaker 1: lot of money for them to straight up switch off
- 44:27Speaker 1: the servers in terms. Right, But here's my question, Daniel.
- 44:29Speaker 1: If my question is this, um, explain it, like I'm five, Um,
- 44:35Speaker 1: isn't the only revenue ad revenue other than the eight
- 44:38Speaker 1: dollars for a verified check thing? Now? But isn't the
- 44:41Speaker 1: only money ad revenue? Yeah? Kind of? I think so. Yeah.
- 44:44Speaker 1: So if so, if the language begins to become too offensive,
- 44:48Speaker 1: well all advertisers split, and then and then how does
- 44:52Speaker 1: it and then how does it survive? Is my question?
- 44:55Speaker 1: Do you know what? I think? That's a great question.
- 44:56Speaker 1: I think I think if push comes to shove and
- 44:58Speaker 1: moderation goes into a certain way where they're just kind
- 45:01Speaker 1: of allowing whatever the platform spirals, people are spreading more
- 45:04Speaker 1: and more hate speech, it will become a less and
- 45:06Speaker 1: less you know, appealing place to advertise, and if those
- 45:10Speaker 1: are advertise on there other than my pillow guy, exactly,
- 45:14Speaker 1: I don't know. I mean, you know there's a lot
- 45:16Speaker 1: of already say it's really interesting. Yeah. I was about
- 45:21Speaker 1: to say, that's exactly right. There's a lot of hate
- 45:23Speaker 1: on the website, and that hasn't stopped people from advertising
- 45:25Speaker 1: on other websites, you know what I mean. No, I'm
- 45:27Speaker 1: just saying that, like, if it continues down, I'm just
- 45:30Speaker 1: asking the question. I have no answers. I'm just saying,
- 45:32Speaker 1: if it continues down a h and you know, anybody
- 45:36Speaker 1: can say whatever the hell they want, those are the
- 45:38Speaker 1: news and it becomes normal. If it continues like this,
- 45:40Speaker 1: it's going to become normal. I'm just wondering if I'm
- 45:42Speaker 1: just wondering if you know, Chevrolet is going to pay
- 45:45Speaker 1: for an ad next to that, I just don't know
- 45:48Speaker 1: if it's normal, if it's normalized. Yeah, And that's what
- 45:51Speaker 1: absolutely not though, Donald, because it's becoming a contentious space,
- 45:55Speaker 1: not just for users, but like right now they're in
- 45:59Speaker 1: a feed with like Apple bizarrely. Um, and so I
- 46:02Speaker 1: think we'll see you continue to see a rollback of advertisers.
- 46:06Speaker 1: Many websites operated at a loss. I really think we
- 46:09Speaker 1: might be seeing the birth of the new eighth chan
- 46:10Speaker 1: if things continue in this direction. What do you say,
- 46:13Speaker 1: I don't know what ah chan is. It's like, do
- 46:15Speaker 1: you know four chan is? No? Okay, it's like a
- 46:18Speaker 1: it's like Reddit, but for horrible people. It just it
- 46:25Speaker 1: just seems like there's so much hate speech going on
- 46:27Speaker 1: right now, and it's it's really starting to boil over. Yeah,
- 46:31Speaker 1: and and and and people with influence are spewing hate
- 46:36Speaker 1: speech more and more now, and it's it's it's uh.
- 46:41Speaker 1: And and to have a platform like Twitter that's like,
- 46:43Speaker 1: you know what, it's free speech though, but we've already
- 46:47Speaker 1: seen a decline and usership, you know what I mean.
- 46:50Speaker 1: Like there's already Twitter's most active users. I think they
- 46:53Speaker 1: said there's like a ten percent decline. And that was
- 46:57Speaker 1: just like as Elon was approaching purchasing the site, like
- 47:00Speaker 1: right after he did excuse me so um. And you know,
- 47:04Speaker 1: with the rise of like Hive, which is a social
- 47:06Speaker 1: website that operates pretty similarly to Twitter with some uh
- 47:11Speaker 1: Instagram applications, as those continue to improve and become more
- 47:16Speaker 1: user friendly, I think we'll continue to see an exodus
- 47:19Speaker 1: from Twitter. I don't think it's going to go back
- 47:21Speaker 1: to what it was. I think we're going to see
- 47:22Speaker 1: a slow exodus from that wasn't it was already a
- 47:25Speaker 1: failing website anyway when he bought it, wasn't it already
- 47:28Speaker 1: like the financially it was not stable. But most of
- 47:30Speaker 1: these websites work at a loss anyway. It wasn't right,
- 47:32Speaker 1: but but it but it had but it was making
- 47:35Speaker 1: advertising money because you had, however, many thousands of people
- 47:40Speaker 1: at least moderating the worst stuff off right and now
- 47:45Speaker 1: in theory, but a robot can't do that, right, you
- 47:48Speaker 1: need a human being ultimately moderation. Didn't he have like
- 47:52Speaker 1: thousands of moderation people that have a lot largely been
- 47:55Speaker 1: let go? Am I wrong? Yeah? Yeah, okay. If there's
- 47:58Speaker 1: not a humans, if there's not a human being that's
- 48:01Speaker 1: eventually moderating the speech a bit, it's it's not going
- 48:05Speaker 1: to be a place where a corporation is gonna want
- 48:07Speaker 1: to put their ad. I'm guessing I don't speaking of robots, dude,
- 48:12Speaker 1: is it La Is it La County that's doing this shit?
- 48:14Speaker 1: It's some robots going in to unarmed motherfucker's and it's
- 48:19Speaker 1: just a bomb. This San Francisco, San Francisco, What the fuck? Man?
- 48:25Speaker 1: You know what's gonna happen. This is how it goes down.
- 48:28Speaker 1: They're gonna start. This is not sorts of remote control robot, right, No,
- 48:32Speaker 1: one has a machine gun on. It's not a bomb, right, No,
- 48:34Speaker 1: it's a fucking bomb, dude. That's the funny thing. They
- 48:37Speaker 1: were letting the bomb. They said, we're not putting guns
- 48:40Speaker 1: on robots. We're putting disarming explosives on robots. Period. Is better? Perfect.
- 48:51Speaker 1: Somebody be like, I don't want to do the remote
- 48:53Speaker 1: control anymore? Can another robot do the ship for me?
- 48:59Speaker 1: In develop consciousness, Skynet is introduced. T creates more robots. Seconds.
- 49:10Speaker 1: The robot goes in and just drops off a bomb
- 49:13Speaker 1: and then leaves. Something explodes. It explodes. No, you wouldn't
- 49:17Speaker 1: kill the robot. No, but the robot, I imagine, is
- 49:23Speaker 1: a very expensive robot. Explosion isn't gonna kill the metal robot. Look,
- 49:27Speaker 1: this is the warfare. Mother's gonna sit there and be
- 49:30Speaker 1: like they'll be sitting there blasting the robot with an AK.
- 49:32Speaker 1: But this is not. The robot just continues to closer
- 49:38Speaker 1: and closer. But it's like Wally but bulletproof, right, it
- 49:43Speaker 1: gets closer and closer, and then when it gets really closed,
- 49:45Speaker 1: it goes boom and fucking kills the person shooting. Right.
- 49:51Speaker 1: Let me please explain what it really is. I can't.
- 49:53Speaker 1: I can't exactly say that Donald is wrong because I
- 49:56Speaker 1: don't know exactly, but I will say something tells me
- 50:00Speaker 1: that it's going to be more along the lines of
- 50:01Speaker 1: a robot throwing a flash bang or some sort of disarmy,
- 50:06Speaker 1: or a robot taking its robot arm and just freaking
- 50:11Speaker 1: grabbing the flash They just want to remove people from
- 50:18Speaker 1: the field, and they're gonna be like, yeah, let's just
- 50:19Speaker 1: throw some robots. It's better than that, you know those
- 50:21Speaker 1: robot dogs that are so incredibly ye Johnston Dynamics. Yes,
- 50:26Speaker 1: it's better than putting a machine gun on those things.
- 50:28Speaker 1: That's bad. That would be bad, dude. You know, literally
- 50:31Speaker 1: an episode of Black Mirror. This is coming, man, we're
- 50:34Speaker 1: on the verge of it. Okay, we're a quick break
- 50:36Speaker 1: and we'll be right back. Everybody likes a little fuck
- 50:48Speaker 1: your sound effects machine, all right, here we are. We're
- 50:51Speaker 1: talking about the television show Scrubs. It was on TV
- 50:54Speaker 1: in the in the aughts. It was one of my
- 50:58Speaker 1: favorite shows in the aughts. Yes, it was one of mine.
- 51:00Speaker 1: Never watched it, but it was one of my favorite trips. Yeah,
- 51:03Speaker 1: Donald's never really seen until now until Kelso reveals that
- 51:08Speaker 1: Enid thinks it's too snowy to go outside because he
- 51:11Speaker 1: sprays the windows with shaving cream. Yes, because her wheelchair
- 51:15Speaker 1: is digging up the backyard. He is a horrible man.
- 51:19Speaker 1: He's doesn't she have dementia? Though? Like she's got everything.
- 51:24Speaker 1: Enid's not in a good place and she thinks she
- 51:26Speaker 1: hasn't been in a good place for a really long time. Second, well,
- 51:29Speaker 1: put this way. She she's she's she sees shaving cream
- 51:33Speaker 1: on the windows and believes it's too snowy to go outside.
- 51:40Speaker 1: We also learned that Todd has created a website called
- 51:43Speaker 1: the Let's Go Back, Let's Go Back, and he leaves
- 51:46Speaker 1: her at home. Yeah, by herself. I think she has
- 51:50Speaker 1: a she does. Yeah, the helper has been referenced. I
- 51:54Speaker 1: think Kelso's probably slept with her. The Todd Time dot
- 51:58Speaker 1: com is introduced. I don't know if that's still up.
- 52:00Speaker 1: Will you check, guys, The Todd Time now the other
- 52:02Speaker 1: one wasn't, but I'll check. Yeah, the other one I
- 52:04Speaker 1: looked up wasn't, but Todd time might be it's a
- 52:09Speaker 1: dirty side. So we're doing this work computer right here
- 52:13Speaker 1: we go. It was made by it is down. Yeah, yeah,
- 52:19Speaker 1: we need Trevor to almost Okay, um, all right, so
- 52:26Speaker 1: they sabotage JD's rating. Okay, Now the janitor decides that
- 52:30Speaker 1: he is going to come clean. Oh gosh, this is
- 52:33Speaker 1: the saddest scene ever in the history of scrubs. It
- 52:36Speaker 1: starts off all right, it starts off good, It starts
- 52:39Speaker 1: off from like, oh, thank goodness, and then he goes
- 52:41Speaker 1: straight up fucking flat Earth. Like he's just like, I
- 52:46Speaker 1: believe that the sun is the moon is the other
- 52:48Speaker 1: side of the sun, right Like he's like, he says,
- 52:51Speaker 1: I stuffed animals with other animals. A badger will hold
- 52:54Speaker 1: five squirrels a squirrel. A squirrel will hold most of
- 52:59Speaker 1: the cat. He says, I believe the moon it's the
- 53:02Speaker 1: other side of the sun. Like, dude, he goes, he
- 53:04Speaker 1: goes there, he goes, well, listen, and meanwhile Carla is
- 53:09Speaker 1: in the background being like, you know, giving him the
- 53:11Speaker 1: stop sign, like you're gonna ruin everything. Um, you have
- 53:14Speaker 1: to dole out. You're crazy in little bursts. Do you
- 53:19Speaker 1: believe that hold on time out? Do you guys all
- 53:21Speaker 1: believe that? Yes? Okay, So you don't go on date
- 53:24Speaker 1: one and tell your date um your weirdest eccentricities because
- 53:29Speaker 1: you want date two. Right, that's the only reason why.
- 53:31Speaker 1: I mean, that's the only reason why though, right, Yeah,
- 53:34Speaker 1: like you're not going to go on the first date.
- 53:37Speaker 1: It's a little as place. No, Yeah, you are, yes,
- 53:40Speaker 1: you are, Yes, you are yes, you are yes, you
- 53:45Speaker 1: are because listen, can I have a glass of a
- 53:48Speaker 1: peanut noir? I listen, Susie, whether it'd be taking a poop,
- 53:51Speaker 1: whether it'd be a finger, whether it be a tongue,
- 53:55Speaker 1: whether you know everybody likes a little ass, she'd be
- 53:57Speaker 1: gone nice meeting you. I know she would. I wouldn't
- 54:03Speaker 1: be gone. I wouldn't be gone, right, I know? Anyway,
- 54:12Speaker 1: in theory, in dating theory, you you don't want to
- 54:15Speaker 1: review my first date with Casey. If Casey said, listen,
- 54:18Speaker 1: everybody likes a little last play, whether it be a finger,
- 54:23Speaker 1: I'd be like, go on. That reference isn't maybe good
- 54:28Speaker 1: for you? But I'm sure there's something an eccentricity of
- 54:31Speaker 1: Casey's or something in her past, or something. She could
- 54:34Speaker 1: tell you that on date one you'd be a little
- 54:37Speaker 1: like whoa, whereas on date ten you'd be like, oh, okay,
- 54:41Speaker 1: I don't know, no, all right, Joel. If it took
- 54:46Speaker 1: till date ten for that ship to come out, then
- 54:48Speaker 1: we got a problem, bro, We got a problem. If
- 54:50Speaker 1: I need to talk into the mic, I'm talking away
- 54:52Speaker 1: from the mic. If it took from date ten for
- 54:54Speaker 1: that ship to come out, then we got a problem, bro,
- 54:57Speaker 1: A straight up problem. I want. I went on a
- 55:00Speaker 1: few dates with a woman and she was amazing and
- 55:03Speaker 1: we were getting along great and um, and she was
- 55:07Speaker 1: roughly I would say five six and um, and then
- 55:14Speaker 1: we ended up making out a little bit and she
- 55:16Speaker 1: took her boots off and when she stood up, she
- 55:20Speaker 1: was definitely under under five which is fine. I mean
- 55:27Speaker 1: not to say I couldn't fall for a woman under
- 55:29Speaker 1: five feet, but I was definitely taken aback and she
- 55:31Speaker 1: clearly was hiding this from me. Yeah. Yeah, I can't
- 55:36Speaker 1: tell a lot like I have the thing where I'm
- 55:39Speaker 1: just like like, whatever is in here is coming out
- 55:42Speaker 1: of my mouth, and so I don't have the opportunity
- 55:45Speaker 1: to slowly past. And it's all or nothing. Yo. This
- 55:51Speaker 1: is if it's gonna be a relationship, it has to
- 55:53Speaker 1: be all or nothing. You can't just be on some
- 55:56Speaker 1: I'm a serial killer and I'm not gonna tell you
- 55:59Speaker 1: until I kill you. Shit Like, that's not that's one extreme.
- 56:04Speaker 1: That's pretty might be extreme, but that's what I mean.
- 56:07Speaker 1: Look the Janitor's borderline. Dude, the motherfucker's stuffs a badger
- 56:13Speaker 1: with squirrels. Come on, squirrels. Five squirrels fit in the
- 56:15Speaker 1: back killer conversation. I don't know where the fuck is
- 56:20Speaker 1: he tries, he tries to take Carla's advice and uh.
- 56:24Speaker 1: And on their next date, they're watching TV and he
- 56:26Speaker 1: pulls out one of his stuffed creatures and she's like,
- 56:30Speaker 1: that's disgusting and he's like, look what I found. And
- 56:32Speaker 1: he's like, oh my god, this is cust and get
- 56:33Speaker 1: that out of here. And he's like, yeah, I agree
- 56:36Speaker 1: with you. I think I never felt bad for Janitor before.
- 56:40Speaker 1: I think Ladies. I think Ladies fronten too, though. I
- 56:43Speaker 1: think Ladies just like Janitor and ended at the end
- 56:46Speaker 1: of the day. Well, spoiler alert, we know that they
- 56:48Speaker 1: end up together in love. So he apparently doling out
- 56:51Speaker 1: his his crazy and small doses works for him. Carla,
- 56:55Speaker 1: Carla really was a woman. That's that's what he took
- 56:58Speaker 1: it literally. He he tried to shore, I'm not going
- 57:01Speaker 1: to take out the big stuff, an I'll take out
- 57:05Speaker 1: a lot of tiny one. Yeah, I'll take out a
- 57:06Speaker 1: little tiny one. So I don't any First of all,
- 57:10Speaker 1: he also doesn't tell her that it's stuffed with other animals.
- 57:13Speaker 1: She just takes it out, like I found this taxidermy
- 57:16Speaker 1: cute thing, right, And she's like gross, And he's like, yeah,
- 57:20Speaker 1: I think so too. I'm gonna put it back in
- 57:22Speaker 1: my backpack anyway, all right, So um, in college, Jad
- 57:29Speaker 1: reveals that we shared a toothbrush. I did not know that.
- 57:35Speaker 1: And then there's this very the rare fantasy within a fantasy,
- 57:38Speaker 1: right now, that one right, so okay, So look, the
- 57:43Speaker 1: fantasy is Turk apologizing and saying, is there anything I
- 57:47Speaker 1: can do to make this up? Right? And j D
- 57:50Speaker 1: says thinks there is. And first it's a unicorn, right,
- 57:55Speaker 1: JD loves unicorns and Turk has found the unicorn. Turns out,
- 57:59Speaker 1: the unicorn's not in Jad's fantasy. It's two. It's two.
- 58:03Speaker 1: I think they twin. I think twins. There were anyway,
- 58:05Speaker 1: there was two young men in the in the suit
- 58:07Speaker 1: and he pulls the head off accidentally, right right, trying
- 58:12Speaker 1: to give me, and then Turk says. In the fantasy,
- 58:16Speaker 1: Turk says, is there anything I can do to make
- 58:18Speaker 1: this up to you? Right? He goes into another fantasy
- 58:22Speaker 1: fantasy with a fantasy with a freaking unicorn again time
- 58:27Speaker 1: it's a fake horn. Yes, and unicorns aren't real. I'm sorry,
- 58:32Speaker 1: j D. That's just how it is, right, Well, Jad
- 58:36Speaker 1: is very upset. I remember shooting that and that that
- 58:39Speaker 1: that horn was barely would barely stay on that horse's head.
- 58:46Speaker 1: They were trying to, you know, obviously you know, do
- 58:48Speaker 1: it very ethically, so you're not gonna like use glue.
- 58:52Speaker 1: I just remember that that horn wouldn't stay on that
- 58:54Speaker 1: damn thing. Yeah, I remember that day. I think I
- 58:57Speaker 1: have a picture of that day. Yeah, it was any
- 59:00Speaker 1: day we had a unicorn. I thought, every day you
- 59:02Speaker 1: go to work and there's a unicorn. I love the
- 59:08Speaker 1: very rare scrubs fantasy with little fantasy. It doesn't happen
- 59:12Speaker 1: too much. Do you remember I remember my first fantasy
- 59:16Speaker 1: within a fantasy moment, and that was American Werewolf in London.
- 59:20Speaker 1: Do you remember American Werewolf in London where I've never
- 59:22Speaker 1: seen it. I know it's a classic, but I've never
- 59:25Speaker 1: seen it. I don't know if it holds up. It's
- 59:27Speaker 1: been a long time since I've seen it. So then
- 59:30Speaker 1: um J d And says, the only way you can
- 59:33Speaker 1: make it up to me is if we go play
- 59:34Speaker 1: basketball and every time I make a shot, you yell
- 59:38Speaker 1: white Lightning and a great jump little children's song plays
- 59:47Speaker 1: that I really like, jump a Little Children. It was dope.
- 59:50Speaker 1: Whatever song that was at the end of the show
- 59:52Speaker 1: was them Jump Little Children. I want you guys to
- 59:55Speaker 1: all listen to They're They're underrated, very underrated band. But
- 59:59Speaker 1: the song it is called B thirteen b Dash thirteen
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: by Jump Old Children. I really like that band a loona.
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: This was clearly my idea because I didn't know anyone
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: else was listening to Jumble Old Children. Yes, Dan, we
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: would play it right here. Yes, Dan will play thirty
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: seconds of it right here. There is a way scream screaming.
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: So now we get into the now we get the
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: Gail thing. Yeah, all right, So Elliott makes a decision that,
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: I mean, obviously a very controversial decision. Do you think
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: she's haunted by this for the rest of her Well,
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: j D warns her that if you don't warn Gail
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: to look out for this woman taking her own life,
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: it's going to haunt you for the rest of your life.
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: And we assume that JD's gotten through to Elliott. But
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: I got goose bumps, um Like, because we know JD's haunted,
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: we know JD's followed around by by his past experiences.
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: We've seen it in the show. But look, I'm getting them.
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: I'm getting goosebumps on my arm as I remember it.
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: That's how That's how moving this moment was that Elliott
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: makes a choice not to warn Gailum and allow her
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: her friend patient, to make her own decision about the
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: end of her life. And I thought it was very powerful.
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: It's a really beautiful sacrifice. It is. But I think
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: she's gonna I think she's gonna I think it's gonna
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: be something that she thinks about though for the rest
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: of her life, though, sure, and that is part of
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: the sacrifice. Also part of the sacrifice is Okay, I'm
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: going to deal with this forever. But keep in mind
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: this was two thousand and seven, so now a more
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: likely scenario would be, let's let's take you to one
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: of those states where you can do this legally and ethically,
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: you know, as I'm sure many people do. This was
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: this was this is a way of doing it before
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: that change begun. It's a very it's a very it's
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: a very, in my opinion, very controversial moment for Elliott,
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: especially someone who is who tries very hard not to
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: be controversial, and there's always trying to do what her
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: parents want or do what she thinks the status quo is,
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: you know what I mean, do what her politics says
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: is the right thing to do. And this is a
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: moment where she throws all of that aside and just says,
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: what would I do? Like this is what I'm This
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: is the theme of this show. Do you want me
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: to be me? Or do you want me to be
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: what fucking I put in front of everybody? Right? Well said, Well,
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: it ended up being a very powerful moment for me.
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: I thought the episode was just okay, but at the
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: end I really thought that was powerfully well told. With
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: the song that jumped, the Little Children's Song and Elliott
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: not saying anything to Gale. I thought that was really good.
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: And then you yelling white lightning and me yelling white lightning.
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: That was definitely all very there you go, all right, Joel,
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: do you have some submissions? I've been laughing for two weeks.
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: Zack and Donald are gay in Switched at Birth. That
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: dude had me rolling. Whatever the oh yeah, Daniel, I
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: need that sound bite for them for you. Um that
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: guy was very funny. He made me laugh and Um,
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: I wanted to say one other thing. Um oh, I
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: wanted to give Clutes a shout out, guys, because I
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: think when this airs it we will have already aired.
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: Because Amanda cludes, our friend has her very own Christmas
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: movie called for Christmas. That's gonna be on CBS Sunday
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: night after football. This will air Tuesday, which means it's
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: already aired, which but you can find it on Paramount Plus.
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: Nice fit for Christmas. Um, Amanda, Um Clutes, our friend
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: she pitched. You know, she loves these sort of hallmarky
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: you know, romantic Christmas movies that that a lot of
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: people like, obviously because they make so many of them.
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: I know I'm saying that she likes that Uvra and
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: she pitched her She had her own idea and she
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: pitched it to CBS and they bought it, and she
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: co wrote it with another woman and she stars it,
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: and I believe it's her lead in anything debut. I
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: mean she's starting Let's Go and um it's on. So
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: if by the time you're hearing this, it will have
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: aired on on TV, but you can find it on
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: Paramount Plus. Our buddy Amanda Clutes fit for Christmas. There's
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: her her shout out because we love Amanda and I
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: are going to screening a little. She organized a little
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: screening and don lyar gonna go to it on Saturday,
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: right there be up in that piece ye pictures? Will
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: you hold me during the romantic parts? No, okay, i'd
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: ask I will be holding on to my wife. Okay,
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: well you will. You'll probably be holding onto my wife.
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: Do you mind if do you mind if your wife
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: sits in the middle. I used to My wife used
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: to get jealous, like, why is he always hugging on you, honey?
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: And now I'm jealous. Why is he always hugging on you?
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: Why is he always asking you about White Lotus Season two?
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: I found pictures on my phone and my wife and
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: my best friend hanging out together. It's so cute. It's
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: the cute Bay and Bay and Bay are fucking kicking it.
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: It's the cutest thing ever. And they're making cute They're
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: making cute little pictures into the camera for me and everything, like,
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: let's do a little bit. It's the cutest thing ever.
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: Let's do a picture where he'll to make him laugh?
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: So sweet? I love her. You married well, you did
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: a good kid. I did good job, man, I did
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: a very good job. I thought that when I married
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: her it would just be me and her. I had
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: no clue that we're going to be me And I'm
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: so glad. I should have said. I should have said,
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: I should have said we married well, she's my friend
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: with zero benefits. All right, Jeel, go for it. We're
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: gonna start with which one an idea for the podcast
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: future or idea for me and Donald a TV show?
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: So this is from Mike McCom is a future project? Okay, Hey,
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: how's it guying hype as well? My name's Michael from
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: Jersey the Little while in There, France. And an idea
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: for a movie for you guys to do together? In
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: the future, a bromance film based on the true story
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: of your lives and how you met with all the
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: stories you've told on the podcast, I think it could
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: be awesome. It could start with Zach as a kid
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: during his bomb It's for wrapped and kind to Donald
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: as he's wrapping along to Wu Tang. You could see
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: some of you guys growing up in theater school and
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: Donald's mum help him out with all his auditions, a
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: bit of clueless garden State, and of course a lot
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: of scrubs. We could also see some of you guys
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: and You're flat and all the things you got up
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: to in New York. See Donald meeting Casey and being rejected,
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: and maybe Zach comforting him until the winds are over.
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: And see Donald having his kids, Zach being asked to
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: be godfather. Maybe after the third kid, that Zach could
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: be like another one. Sorry, but yeah, I thought he'd
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: done in the style of the film The Big Sick
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: and a bit of an abstract ending. But you could
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: always end with Bill Lawrence at its computer and it
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: turns out he's been writing the story of your lives anyway.
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: Thanks for listening to me, ramble Chow for now. Oh,
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: very sweet one and nice actors. Well, he came from Jersey. No,
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: he's from Old Jersey Jersey. Trust me, if you're from
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: you sound like me. If you're from Old Jersey, you
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: sound like that. I'm about to say, that's so, that's so.
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: That is an Old Jersey. Yes, Old Jersey, got it?
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: I was wondering, Yeah, he has it always been called
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: Old Jersey. I know, guys, come on, man An. I
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: love his accent. I love his accent. If I spoke
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: like that, Donald, I would such aud you would what
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: I'd just be such a I still say this. I
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: will say this. I loved his idea. I don't think
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: it's a television show or a movie. I think it's
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: a music video like me and you need to we
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: need to create a song something like you know, so
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: this is the world we live and you know what?
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: You know. What it really reminded me of, though, was
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: the ending for Six Feet Under. But instead of us
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: dying in the end, it's it's Bill Lawrence with the script,
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: but it's the it's the anthology of our life all
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: the way through up until you know, we reached the present. Yeah, well,
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: I thought it was a listen. I think it was
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: very sweet where he pitched it, and he seemed like
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: a very lovely man. I like the idea of it
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: being revealed it Bill's writing the whole thing. I thought
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: that was smart. I don't think that we in reality
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: want to do the story of our lives. No, all right,
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: but thank you for the submission. Your accent was our
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: favorite part. And if you lived in New Jersey, you
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: would not sound like that. You'd say words like coffee talk,
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: chocolate dog, get the fuck out of dog when we
- 1:09:39Speaker 1: were making when we were making a Good Person. Oh,
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: I gotta give him on a warning. My Good Person
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: trailer is dropping on December fifteenth everywherey Yes, that is
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: my wedding anniversary. That is the perfect day to drop
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: a good person. Drop that shit, and when you drop it,
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: say this is for my best friend's wedding. And I'm
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: probably not going to do that, but I we want
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: everyone who's that I'm not gonna I'm gonna focus on
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: the film, not your wedding anniversary. If it's okay, right, UM,
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: I do want everyone who keeps track of these things
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: to please put it down in your in your in
- 1:10:14Speaker 1: your calendar. December fifteenth is the day that we'll be dropping.
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: I gotten married to Casey. Yes, that is the day.
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: Yes for a good person, A good person. Trailer drops
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: to fifteenth, very excited day after my dad's birthday. Yeah,
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: these are all these are all the ways it relates
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: to Donald's life. That's why we chose December fifteen. No,
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: but it's a big thing for us. We're very excited
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: and uh, I'm really excited for you. But it's gonna
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: be really cool. Um, all right, Joelle, let's go to
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: the next idea, which is an idea for a future
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: incarnation of the podcast. I take it. Yes, it's titled
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: a pitchy from MITCHI PITCHI from Mitchie, Hi, Zach Hy, Donald, Ti,
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: Danel you guys back on the airways. It's Mitch from Australia,
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: which I was thiswezy guy who were on a game show.
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: Remember him, Hope Everyone's well, Um, yeah, I have an
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: idea just following up from what Laura and Matt pitched
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: to you guys. Here's a pitch from Mitch. That's a
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: horrible part. I'm sorry sorry, following up from what they said.
- 1:11:26Speaker 1: Both great ideas. I thought. Also, maybe if you like
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: did you possibly did your episode? And two halves like
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: catch up, shoot the ship, see what's going on in
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: your lives and stuff like that, and the second half
- 1:11:38Speaker 1: kind of like you used to have with guests would
- 1:11:41Speaker 1: write in and ask a question and fix your life.
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: Maybe we could have a bit of a talent quest
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: so like kind of like you guys would be the
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: judges on your American idol or whatever, or more like
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: America's Got Talent or Australia of Talent and rot and
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: listeners could submit in some talent perhaps maybe like maybe
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: people might be able to do awesome impressions or seeing
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: or whatever. I think maybe like an unofficial Fake Doctor's
- 1:12:09Speaker 1: Real Friends idol. All right, fake Doctor's got talent maybe
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: And it could be anything, and it could be a
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: bit of fun, a few laughs to be had, and
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: you know, I think it could be fun and I
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: would like to put my my submission in. I can
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: do a few impressions, be like, hey you Frank here,
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: maybe this will make you a little Donald day or anyways,
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: I hope you guys world, I'm kindly driving through the
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: streets of the Sydney and I'm getting weird looks giggling
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: like an idiot. Um all on hands free though, so
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: it's all safe any rate. I hope you guys are well,
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: be safe, and I hope to hear from me soon.
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: All right, all right, yeah, Rich is a very funny man.
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: I like I'm going to be I don't know, I
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: don't know came out. I mean, I listen a talent show,
- 1:13:06Speaker 1: don't be wrong. I think I want to do every week,
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: as it would be really funny just replacing this segment
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: with a with a with a talent show or someone
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: they sing or they play an instrument, or they do comedy.
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: Now you never see that one where the lady asked
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: Aline Diana if she could sing for her and to
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: leaves in the car in front of like a restaurant
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: or bad and the girls starts singing and it's really
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: badial expression. And I would love that. I would love
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: to be able to look listen without sounding like an
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: asshole and without being an asshole. If you guys want
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: to send in your talents, your singing talents, your comedic
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: talents and everything like that, and you want us to
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: judge it, yeah, if you really want that, judge it down,
- 1:14:03Speaker 1: I'm gonna be one hundred with you, though, man, and
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: my mother, like y'allow one hundred with me and my
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: DMS and in my motherfucking Twitter and all of that shit,
- 1:14:12Speaker 1: like y'allow one hundred with me when you come at
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: me with all of that stuff. If you want to
- 1:14:16Speaker 1: do that, go ahead. I'm willing to do. You're saying
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: if we were to do this, that you would be
- 1:14:20Speaker 1: more of the Simon because I don't want I could
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: never wouldn't be mean. I would just be honest. I
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: would just be honest. Just look, man, look just being honest.
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: I just want to say, I if you were willing
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: to be the Simon call, because I would never, like say,
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: like your heart, you wouldn't be honest, you would you
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: wouldn't be honest. I would be delicate. I would be
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: more like if somebody came in and was horrible at
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: whatever it is that they're like, I'd be like, you
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: clearly have a different skill you haven't found yet. I'm
- 1:14:49Speaker 1: gonna very gently the spit went down the wrong pipe. Shit,
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: But I do think it's funny. I always used to
- 1:14:56Speaker 1: think it was funny. I never could never be the
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: Simon call, but I did think it was fun any
- 1:15:00Speaker 1: when he would be like, that's the worst song I've
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: ever heard in my whole life. That's the worst singing
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: I've ever heard ever. Really, Simon, really, ever, that was
- 1:15:09Speaker 1: absolutely horrible. I used to laugh. I's just like, I
- 1:15:11Speaker 1: just could ever do that to anybody. I used to
- 1:15:14Speaker 1: laugh at Randy Jackson. That's when. That's when American Idol
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: was funny. That's gonna be a note for me, dog.
- 1:15:24Speaker 1: Those shows were I mean, I never want to be
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: the person, but they were funniest when there was at
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: least one bad guy, right, Yeah, like William she Bang
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: became all positive. I just stopped watching them. Listen. I
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: enjoy a train wreck just as much as the next person.
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: I think we all enjoy train wrecks. I think I
- 1:15:51Speaker 1: don't think I want to be a part of the
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: train wreck though. I don't want to be. Yeah, I
- 1:15:56Speaker 1: don't want I don't want fake Doctor's real friends to be. Yeah,
- 1:16:00Speaker 1: we don't. We want to build people. We don't want to.
- 1:16:02Speaker 1: We don't want to. We want to build people up.
- 1:16:03Speaker 1: We're not trying to take anybody down. I would love
- 1:16:05Speaker 1: to tell everyone the movies that I've watched that I've
- 1:16:09Speaker 1: really not liked, but it's not my it's not my thing.
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: I'll tell you. I'll tell you privately, but I don't
- 1:16:15Speaker 1: want to broadcast like you know, so much hard work
- 1:16:18Speaker 1: and artistry goes into to a film, for example. I
- 1:16:22Speaker 1: would never publicly put anybody down. It's just we all
- 1:16:27Speaker 1: love a train wreck. I'll build people up. I'll say
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: I love watch White White Load of Season two one hundred.
- 1:16:33Speaker 1: I love a train wreck, though I said it over
- 1:16:34Speaker 1: and over again, and I'll say it again. You're saying, like,
- 1:16:36Speaker 1: when someone performs in their horrible you enjoy that. I
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: do too. Everybody does. That's why those shows are popular. Yeah,
- 1:16:41Speaker 1: but they're only extra funny when then Simon Cowell is like,
- 1:16:45Speaker 1: my ears are literally bleeding from this. All right, everybody,
- 1:16:50Speaker 1: that's the show we like how much we go? But
- 1:16:53Speaker 1: you know a song is getting the mad bump in
- 1:16:55Speaker 1: my car right now, and I know we can't play
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: it on the air, but it's just it's just one
- 1:17:01Speaker 1: of my favorite songs. What mommy don't know, Daddy, I'm
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: gonna say this DoD was something unholy. Yeah, it goes
- 1:17:18Speaker 1: Sam Smith, what's young's name? Kim p Patris, Oh Soga rules,
- 1:17:26Speaker 1: They got it. They got a bop Doug, they got
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: a bop Bob. They took you know what. You know.
- 1:17:32Speaker 1: What's messed up though, is they took the freaking American
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: version of like the Middle Eastern thing do do Do
- 1:17:40Speaker 1: Do Do Do Do Do Do Do and turned it
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: into a hit song. Yes right, I mean they are
- 1:17:47Speaker 1: the first people to do it, but yes, it works
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: really well. That's the first. That's the first freaking version
- 1:17:52Speaker 1: of it that I'm like, yo again you like Britney
- 1:17:56Speaker 1: Spears Toxic, which is based off of the Indian song Okay,
- 1:18:01Speaker 1: all right, guys, um that's our show. We'd love you
- 1:18:03Speaker 1: very very much and we'll see you next time. Thank
- 1:18:06Speaker 1: you so much for tuning in. Five, six, seven, Three
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: stories about show we made about a bunch of docs
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: and nurses and the Canada who said he just stories,
- 1:18:19Speaker 1: never should know. So YadA around you, here, a YadA
- 1:18:25Speaker 1: around you here as free what shows and m hmmm,
