- 0:01SPEAKER_02: Blessings and welcome to the Ascension Alchemist Podcast.
- 0:04SPEAKER_02: I'm your host, Reverend Honey Borden.
- 0:06SPEAKER_00: And I'm your host, Michael Abramson.
- 0:08SPEAKER_02: Welcoming you all to our new podcast series that is in this second year of it, and it's all dedicated to sacred relationships, sacred marriages, high consciousness in being in these relationships that are purpose-driven, that are in the presence of God Almighty, and what really happens behind the scene and the things that we go through.
- 0:39SPEAKER_00: Because how amazing is it that we can bring forth our direct experiences, our truth, our raw and realness, and what happens when we have these moments and the wisdom we get to learn and how grateful we get to share from our first hand experiences.
- 0:56SPEAKER_02: Yeah, so you know, we're just coming off this coming off in our one-year anniversary, and we knew we wanted to dedicate it to just really go deep into being in relationships on its own is quite the quite the journey, and especially when you are living together, you are working together, and you're mission-driven, all that comes with it.
- 1:23SPEAKER_02: And what happens then you have like let's say a major life transition that is hitting you, and you have to navigate that.
- 1:36SPEAKER_02: And what comes with it?
- 1:38SPEAKER_02: So, in this experience, couple you we brought this up before, where inside menopause.
- 1:45SPEAKER_02: So, what happens when menopause enters the scene and so many things turn upside down inside out, and the laughter in the midst of insanity that we thought it's so important to actually really talk about.
- 2:02SPEAKER_02: We really, as usual, raw and real, and let's talk about, let's talk about how crazy it's been.
- 2:07SPEAKER_00: I just want to say, you know, I believe men don't really have a clue what menopause is because when I have witnessed and what I've seen, I just want to give my heartfelt compassion to what women go through and what you've been really experiencing, because somehow modern medicine and our society hasn't really given that much awareness to it.
- 2:36SPEAKER_00: And really the struggles that happen not only within a woman, but the change of life that creates an upside-down, topsy-turby morning, night, evening where emotions change, hormones are up and down, and before you know it, it almost feels like you're labeled of having something as almost like an illness when really it's a whole incredible life change.
- 3:05SPEAKER_00: That I just want to say for you, honey, and for every woman, I find it's so important for us to really listen with our hearts and our openness, compassion to honor this because it is something that I would say no man will ever experience, but women that have to go through this and will go through this, which is completely every man, every man in his journey, whether it's his mom, right, or whether you know his goddaughters or wife, at some point is gonna face them going through, let's say, the puberty or pregnancy, right?
- 3:46SPEAKER_02: And then there's the menopause.
- 3:48SPEAKER_02: But before menopause, it's like you have what, like 10 years before that, you have the perimenopause.
- 3:53SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 3:54SPEAKER_02: Like last night you were saying, I don't want this to be a death sentence.
- 4:00SPEAKER_00: No, you said you said you said, wow, in this 10 to 15 journey, like 10 to 15 years.
- 4:06SPEAKER_00: She's like, no, no, no, it started a while ago.
- 4:08SPEAKER_00: And I said, okay, just let's just keep it clear that like because it was so cute how you I didn't realize, you know, I've heard of perimenopause.
- 4:17SPEAKER_00: I've studied menopause, but when you put a number to it, it was it almost kind of like it took my breath away.
- 4:23SPEAKER_00: And I loved how you said it was a death sentence.
- 4:25SPEAKER_02: But could it be, let me ask you a question?
- 4:27SPEAKER_02: Could it be midlife crisis for men just so happened to be though?
- 4:32SPEAKER_02: There's been a lot of attention of men having mid-life crisis because their wives are going through freaking perimenopause and menopause.
- 4:41SPEAKER_00: So maybe we can call that men.
- 4:43SPEAKER_00: On pause.
- 4:44SPEAKER_00: Men on pause.
- 4:45SPEAKER_00: Because men actually absorb it.
- 4:47SPEAKER_00: And here's the big thing it's a complete shift of what men don't even understand, but actually have to, well, they don't have to, but to honor the woman, to express the love, they have to accept in one form in a way.
- 5:07SPEAKER_00: It's like there's no, there's there's no choice to realize that they're gonna be night sweats, they're gonna be sleepless nights, they're gonna be hormones, there's gonna be mood swings, there's gonna be things that we don't even know what's happening, but it's gonna come out so extreme that this episode and what we feel is so important in conscious higher relationships, sacred marriage, that this has to be discussed because I feel like our society has kind of treated like a little hidden dark secret.
- 5:40SPEAKER_00: And now it's like, wait a minute, there's something very valuable about expressing the truth and really the authenticity of what you're going through.
- 5:48SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I mean, frankly, a couple of things.
- 5:52SPEAKER_02: I want to say, yeah, it's it's been it's been really challenging.
- 5:56SPEAKER_02: It's been actually really hard.
- 5:57SPEAKER_02: And I've been going through it.
- 5:58SPEAKER_02: I've been going through the perimenopause now.
- 6:01SPEAKER_02: I'm 54, so it started age 39.
- 6:04SPEAKER_00: So we're almost at the end of the journey.
- 6:08SPEAKER_00: Yes, yeah, just I just want clarity so that so that uh so that I can see the end of the journey.
- 6:14SPEAKER_02: I met you 10 years ago, so and you know, it's been going through that.
- 6:18SPEAKER_02: But when you so remember one of the first things when we met, you were wondering what is this tumbling, sleeping, tumbling thing?
- 6:26SPEAKER_02: Because you were like, why do I toss and turn so much?
- 6:29SPEAKER_00: I'll explain it to the viewers.
- 6:31SPEAKER_00: I called it a tossing tumblewheel, tumbleweed.
- 6:36SPEAKER_00: And so, like in Kansas, or for those in the dry Midwest areas, there's these spiraling dry weeds that just kind of tumble, and wherever the wind blows, it's like tossing chaotically.
- 6:48SPEAKER_00: So when I first met Honey, I was always curious why in the middle of the night she's tumbling, arms direction, legs going one direction, waking up, and I'm like, wow, this is quite extraordinary.
- 7:00SPEAKER_02: And lack of sleep.
- 7:01SPEAKER_02: So that has been going on for years and years, right?
- 7:04SPEAKER_00: Hasn't it gotten better with our love?
- 7:07SPEAKER_00: Like when you say lack of sleep.
- 7:08SPEAKER_00: When you say, no, no, no, the tossing tumbling.
- 7:10SPEAKER_00: No, it doesn't it's just that's resolved, and I feel like a greater level of alignment, especially with God Almighty, things have have shifted in that for sure, for sure, for sure.
- 7:20SPEAKER_02: So, but the the the you know that those years of perimenopause, I felt like I do you remember let me talk.
- 7:27SPEAKER_02: Do you remember when I met you?
- 7:29SPEAKER_02: I was 44 when I met you.
- 7:31SPEAKER_02: Yes, and that's when my my menstrual cycle started really shifting.
- 7:37SPEAKER_02: And I've always I've really never had issues with my menstrual cycle.
- 7:40SPEAKER_02: Oh, really good, but do you remember when I met you?
- 7:43SPEAKER_02: I kept saying, I was like, Michael, I started actually having a lot of heavy bleeding, all kinds of things happening.
- 7:49SPEAKER_02: And and I remember thinking, Michael, I've never experienced before.
- 7:52SPEAKER_02: And then remember, I was saying, Oh gosh, I've never experienced these body pains before.
- 7:56SPEAKER_02: These are like arm new.
- 7:58SPEAKER_02: I was 44 at that time.
- 7:59SPEAKER_02: You were 40.
- 8:00SPEAKER_00: I remember holy blood was like the third tier of our relationship.
- 8:04SPEAKER_00: It was me, you, and holy blood.
- 8:08SPEAKER_00: Because all I kept hearing was, oh my gosh, Michael, this has never happened before.
- 8:15SPEAKER_00: I'm like, honey, stop saying that because every month there's a new thing.
- 8:19SPEAKER_00: Like, I've never experienced it.
- 8:20SPEAKER_00: Because that was amazing.
- 8:21SPEAKER_02: I never I knew myself up until 44 years.
- 8:24SPEAKER_02: Like how suddenly, like, I'm having this experience.
- 8:27SPEAKER_02: But a couple of things, and remember my eyesight started changing.
- 8:30SPEAKER_02: All of this is like, what's happening?
- 8:32SPEAKER_02: So these were all part of parametropots that I did, I wasn't fully aware of it.
- 8:36SPEAKER_02: I knew there were changes, and it was great because when you turn finally 44, you start experiencing some of these random body aches and eye things, minus the holy blood, you weren't having menstrual psychos, but men still go through their things for sure.
- 8:53SPEAKER_02: So it's been it's been a it's been a journey, and especially these past several weeks.
- 8:59SPEAKER_02: I feel, yeah, the last, the last two or three years, the sh the last I would say two years, two years almost we're here is better, but the three years before that, that was really tough when we were in Florida because all the stresses with the family too, and I was going through, I was going through a lot of, especially the anxiety, the panic attacks, and not sleep, and then more symptoms.
- 9:25SPEAKER_02: They were still there.
- 9:26SPEAKER_02: I happened to manage them very well, but they were all still there.
- 9:33SPEAKER_02: And so when we moved back here, there was some stability that seemed to calm things, and under underneath it, the symptoms were beginning to get more, and it was this year that more started coming in, and my gosh, the last I would say the last three months, but particularly the last five, four weeks, yeah.
- 10:05SPEAKER_02: Holy shit, the way it's like suddenly something kicked in.
- 10:12SPEAKER_02: I don't know what it has been by far the most challenging to navigate this one.
- 10:19SPEAKER_02: And knowing myself that I'm not one that wanna, you know, that's just personally.
- 10:24SPEAKER_02: Um I like things naturally, and being able to go.
- 10:28SPEAKER_02: I don't, and I, you know, you know me, I'm never, I have really high tolerance for pain, and you've seen me go through a lot of emotional, mental pain, physical pain, and I don't complain.
- 10:40SPEAKER_02: Um and you've seen I'm very quiet and go through it.
- 10:44SPEAKER_02: It was it's been really hard five weeks, really, really difficult.
- 10:48SPEAKER_00: So, for all the viewers that are listening, those that are going through menopause, perimenopause are on their way, honey, if I could just dig deeper and say, what is this experience really teaching you or showing you?
- 11:05SPEAKER_00: And something you can help bring a greater awareness that what we've been taught, maybe what we've been seen from our lens of medicine, television, society, what have you really taken away and learned from this experience that you would like to share with the viewers?
- 11:27SPEAKER_02: Well, I feel that I'm still so thick in it.
- 11:29SPEAKER_02: I can only touch on just a couple of things that I that it seems I'm slowly getting a better handle on, because one of the things that micro like and some of the viewers can really really resonate, especially if they're not on hormone therapy like me, it's like it wasn't one, two, three, four, five symptoms.
- 11:51SPEAKER_02: When the symptoms are like 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, and suddenly you don't, you don't, you've been able to manage things very well, but suddenly it's like you can't actually manage.
- 12:05SPEAKER_02: You have no more control, and you you're losing your grip.
- 12:12SPEAKER_02: And for me being a minister, being a reverend, being so close to God, my my day starts with God, God throughout the day, and that shaken up, that was the thing that I was like, oh my gosh, like I need help here.
- 12:28SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 12:28SPEAKER_02: And I I really need this is the symptomology is too much, it's too much on my flesh.
- 12:35SPEAKER_02: So how to navigate it better?
- 12:37SPEAKER_02: And I knew I needed help because the night, the lack of sleep was one thing, night sweat, one thing, the hot flash is one thing.
- 12:47SPEAKER_02: All of those I've met I've dealt with well dealt with, but what started really becoming was the extreme level of I would say grief and the level of sadness that like everything is great.
- 13:06SPEAKER_02: I'm in the middle of the best time of my life, but that level of grief as if somebody very close to me has died, like I couldn't shake the grief off.
- 13:16SPEAKER_02: No matter what, I couldn't.
- 13:17SPEAKER_02: And I had to changing, of course, changing diadonna.
- 13:20SPEAKER_02: So to come back to your question, to come back to a question, one of the things that I really, really decided, a few things.
- 13:30SPEAKER_02: One was of course, I've been on YouTube, discovered, okay, what's going on, just to discover and realize, okay, wait a minute.
- 13:36SPEAKER_02: Yes, I haven't had my my menstrual cycle for a very long time.
- 13:41SPEAKER_02: So I'm now fully inside that menopause.
- 13:45SPEAKER_02: And this is the wave I I I began experiencing all these waves coming in and out.
- 13:50SPEAKER_02: I was like, okay, so okay, when when these waves come in, when I have these sweats, right?
- 13:56SPEAKER_02: And then fresh, the next thing is my mood drops.
- 13:59SPEAKER_02: So then that means the serotonin and progesterone is dropping.
- 14:03SPEAKER_02: So what does that mean?
- 14:04SPEAKER_02: That's where beings, and then it would link.
- 14:07SPEAKER_02: It wasn't just sadness, then I would have this anxiety and almost panic.
- 14:13SPEAKER_02: I was like, this is not me, though I've experienced it before, but I'm not in that state anymore.
- 14:19SPEAKER_02: So as I knew I had to change my food around, change my exercise around, I took it into action right away.
- 14:28SPEAKER_02: And I keep saying, okay, God, you need to help me more.
- 14:33SPEAKER_02: So I asked even deeper for help.
- 14:37SPEAKER_02: And when you came back from London, I said, Michael, I need help.
- 14:42SPEAKER_02: We need to adjust acupuncture to something else in another way.
- 14:47SPEAKER_02: And so some of those have helped for me to just move out of, I moved out of my baseline.
- 14:56SPEAKER_02: I literally dropped.
- 14:57SPEAKER_02: So I feel like the last few days I've finally been able to come back to a baseline where tiredness, exhaust, all of that is there, but my attitude is better, and especially the experience we had on Sunday was really revolutionary, which we'll talk about in a second.
- 15:17SPEAKER_02: What I have discovered so far with menopause, it is by divine design.
- 15:24SPEAKER_02: God has made it, but God has made it for purpose, and the purpose of it is not being really shared in a from a place of grace, amazingness in the restaurant culture.
- 15:40SPEAKER_02: I am I wanted to discover, okay, God Almighty.
- 15:44SPEAKER_02: I had the discussion with her.
- 15:45SPEAKER_02: I said, you you you made me into a body of a female for me to go through this.
- 15:51SPEAKER_02: It's a lot of suffering.
- 15:53SPEAKER_02: It's it sucks.
- 15:56SPEAKER_02: There's no question.
- 15:57SPEAKER_02: And it it's it's really hard going through it.
- 16:01SPEAKER_02: However, there's something you want me to get out of this because you've always put me in these positions where I have a language around it where I can be a better educator, bring awareness.
- 16:14SPEAKER_02: So what is it in this?
- 16:17SPEAKER_02: And what I discovered is that in this menopause, there are these pauses when the waves come in, right?
- 16:25SPEAKER_02: So I can have a reflection because right now, some of the other personal responsibilities that I had taken on, I have handed it over to.
- 16:35SPEAKER_02: So it seems like there's a space.
- 16:37SPEAKER_02: So within that space, I can actually pay attention more to myself, adjusting.
- 16:44SPEAKER_02: So I have more time to myself.
- 16:47SPEAKER_02: And from that, then these pauses are helping me reflect.
- 16:52SPEAKER_02: Okay, wait a minute.
- 16:53SPEAKER_02: Now I can look at during my 30s, during the time that I was very sick, that hardship that I went through, that I didn't have the support, I had to hide it from everybody before I had my NDE.
- 17:07SPEAKER_02: And how what a lonely part that was that most people don't even know about.
- 17:13SPEAKER_02: But I've suppressed that so much.
- 17:15SPEAKER_02: Then it went to, you know, the time when my second son was born, what happened in the birthroom, I've suppressed that.
- 17:23SPEAKER_02: Then even to the time, for example, when I stopped breastfeeding Keon, what happened to my body, I've suppressed that.
- 17:32SPEAKER_02: Then I've been, I started traveling through all these all these times where I've suppressed the difficulty that I experienced, but now suddenly they all want to come up, they all want to be seen.
- 17:46SPEAKER_02: So this I call it mini pause instead of menopause because it's having me have these pauses so I can reflect and see.
- 17:54SPEAKER_02: And then, and then I keep having these flashbacks of my childhood, which I brought to your attention, of major abandonment, abandonment experiences as a very early child that I never really paid attention.
- 18:12SPEAKER_02: Like remember a couple of days ago in the bath in the shower, I came out of the shower, I was like, wow, Michael, I just received what happened, why I go through this anxiety and panic.
- 18:24SPEAKER_02: Because when I was little, when I was three months old, I was my mom gave me to my grandmother in a complete other city.
- 18:32SPEAKER_02: And three months later, I was so sick in the hospital with pneumonia.
- 18:37SPEAKER_02: My grandmother had to call my mom to come become because the doctor says she's not going to make it.
- 18:43SPEAKER_02: So my mom and dad drove, but they got into a car accident.
- 18:49SPEAKER_02: So there are all these things that on a subconscious level is in there.
- 18:54SPEAKER_02: And I remember I came out of the shower, I told you, he's like, oh my God, there's like more into your life experience.
- 19:00SPEAKER_00: Like these stories of, well, this one time that happened in Iran, and I'm like, honey, each time you share these experiences, these aren't lighthearted experiences.
- 19:09SPEAKER_00: You know, in America, we could talk about, or sometimes first world countries.
- 19:12SPEAKER_00: Well, Iran's a first world.
- 19:13SPEAKER_00: It's just like you share these things and they're not lighthearted.
- 19:16SPEAKER_00: Sometimes they're like heavy levels.
- 19:18SPEAKER_00: I'm like, how come you never shared?
- 19:19SPEAKER_00: Well, I didn't know about this.
- 19:20SPEAKER_02: And it's one more layer to the experience, which sometimes it's yeah, and we laughed about it because it's inside.
- 19:27SPEAKER_02: You're like shocked again.
- 19:28SPEAKER_02: And I and as I brought it up, and and so the so that made a huge understanding.
- 19:36SPEAKER_02: It's like I'm linking things to my past because in this mini pause, it's giving me the opportunity to choose differently while I'm going through the symptoms, and at the same time, at the same time, it's giving me the opportunity to be so strong going through these symptoms because they literally can knock me every every second.
- 20:03SPEAKER_02: It's exhausting.
- 20:04SPEAKER_00: And you know what's so phenomenal about what you shared?
- 20:08SPEAKER_00: You know, when we talk about alchemization, right?
- 20:11SPEAKER_00: Alchemy, there's this transformation that's happening.
- 20:15SPEAKER_00: And what you're sharing, it seems like there's this natural uprising of the trauma, suppressed emotions, hurt, pain that has been trapped.
- 20:29SPEAKER_00: And if there's any, let's just take a positive aspect of menopause, it's really allowing this uprooting, this greater awareness that it's not only coming up through you, it's allowing you to alchemize, transform some of these experiences that have lied so dormant in you that really you have no choice but to see them, but to meet them.
- 20:55SPEAKER_00: And in our wonderful inner work and what we see with God Almighty and embodying our highest form, it almost seems like this is a fast track or ability for all this to be seen, to be brought into a level of acceptance.
- 21:15SPEAKER_00: And most important, what you said, create a new story from it because there's a lot of what we saw on Sunday, old beliefs, fears, and programs that are all tied to this, which is our inner work as great mentors that we both do, and helping individuals guide through some of their toughest times, that it's like this inner alchemy that's happening in such an extreme fashion that is literally forcing you to pause, create the space.
- 21:46SPEAKER_00: And what I feel which happened this weekend was for you to express it in a whole new manner that allowed you to see and bring the voilas out of it.
- 21:59SPEAKER_00: But like, ah.
- 22:00SPEAKER_00: That are buried deep underneath it.
- 22:02SPEAKER_02: So, you know, this May on my birthday, I have you know, I've been journaling for a while.
- 22:08SPEAKER_02: So this May, I started my journal to God, writing for God.
- 22:12SPEAKER_02: And every day I'm like, God Almighty, okay, here's what's happening, here's this.
- 22:16SPEAKER_02: I didn't know why I was doing that.
- 22:18SPEAKER_02: Then I finally understood why I'm doing that.
- 22:21SPEAKER_02: Because as these things come up, I take it right away as I sit in prayers.
- 22:25SPEAKER_02: I meditation with God, then I write it, okay, God Almighty, here's this, this came up, this came up.
- 22:31SPEAKER_02: I'm gonna give this to you to help me move out of it.
- 22:35SPEAKER_02: So there's a part that my relationship with the presence of God Almight is greater, and I'm also recognizing in this the gift of menopause is giving me to allow the presence of God almost to come into the experience of menopause and heal these areas that I had never I've done so much inner work, but because these are so deep, I couldn't touch them before, so now they're surface, and that's why they're so intense, and they bring up a lot of the symptomology of it is much more intense.
- 23:13SPEAKER_02: And while in that in that space, be able to have the presence of God Almighty, the one that created all all consciousness, that living Christ to carry me.
- 23:27SPEAKER_02: So I'm I'm allowing myself to be surrendered, be carried, and at the same time, having the presence of God Almighty, tell my body, you're good, nothing is wrong with you.
- 23:41SPEAKER_02: You know, I'm gonna balance your hormones, I'm gonna balance your serotonin, your oxytocin, your you know, dopamine, and all of these things.
- 23:53SPEAKER_02: So that way I can see, oh wow, it can be done without the hormone replacement therapy.
- 24:02SPEAKER_02: I'm still just so thick in it right now.
- 24:05SPEAKER_02: And I can also communicate it with you like a protocol because you're working on my body through acupuncture as well.
- 24:12SPEAKER_02: And at the same time, like what happened Sunday, that safe, that ultimate, ultimate safe space that you held so that I could really, really give myself permission to talk about some of the deepest pain inside of me because I didn't want to even verbalize it because I didn't want to give it power.
- 24:39SPEAKER_02: Yet I yet it was great you reminded me, honey, you just need to talk so it it comes out of you.
- 24:46SPEAKER_02: Because on the inside of me, it had become a mountain, but it needed to come out.
- 24:51SPEAKER_00: For those that are listening and hearing, I just want to express one thing that Honey said so deeply is that giving the opportunity to call on God Almighty, source divine, and saying, You can create my dop dopamine, you can create my serotonin, you have the power because you created me, you can also create that within that that is another option that you're not here to do this alone, you're not here to depend on any outs outer source, that it's giving you that energy to not only embody, but to align to.
- 25:31SPEAKER_00: And then this weekend, which we'll go deeper.
- 25:33SPEAKER_02: Which I'm not just let's just be, I'm not saying this for other people to follow me.
- 25:39SPEAKER_02: You can be inspired a lot, you need to listen to.
- 25:42SPEAKER_02: I'm just I'm just listening within me, what is capable in me, and maybe that inspires you.
- 25:52SPEAKER_02: So please, like this is like a disclaimer.
- 25:54SPEAKER_02: I'm not telling you to not go on hormone replacement therapies.
- 25:58SPEAKER_02: I want to make sure I'm not this is not advice, I'm just sharing our story, what we're experiencing.
- 26:04SPEAKER_00: And we also know for those in the advanced holistic field, we're also becoming more aware that our cells, our body, our mitochondria responds to what we communicate to us.
- 26:17SPEAKER_00: That's right.
- 26:17SPEAKER_00: And the more that we are communicating it in a faith-based, true nature, it activates healing that's already within us that can't even touch the levels that sometimes outer sources do.
- 26:31SPEAKER_00: Even though all of that is wonderful, there are other options to be shared.
- 26:36SPEAKER_00: What I really appreciate you're doing that, and also giving the opportunity, which I felt was very deep-hearted, and I felt it brought something very close, is having the opportunity to allow me to hold sacred space so that you could really talk it through.
- 26:54SPEAKER_00: Because before, when we sat down, I was congratulating you, I was telling you how amazing you were doing, which still wasn't breaking.
- 27:02SPEAKER_00: You were cheering me up, cheering you up.
- 27:04SPEAKER_00: Which was really lovely, and it helped just start the conversation.
- 27:08SPEAKER_02: But then you saw me in the kitchen that I was just I was down, like I was just down, like if that wasn't uplifting.
- 27:17SPEAKER_00: So, what I fig feel about this opportunity.
- 27:21SPEAKER_02: But but but that's when you said, honey, just come.
- 27:23SPEAKER_02: Let me sit in the just talk.
- 27:25SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 27:26SPEAKER_02: You want it, you're like, because you knew you're like, honey, just talk, talk.
- 27:30SPEAKER_02: And I I was having a really hard time.
- 27:32SPEAKER_00: So I want to just declare this for every sacred relationship, every sacred marriage, every whether you're a partner, a mother, a son, one of the greatest areas that I've learned through this weekend is the importance of sitting and listening from the heart and really allowing one that you truly deeply love to just share the truth without judging, fixing, clearing, and just giving the opportunity to let them speak their truth.
- 28:08SPEAKER_00: Because what I saw this past weekend was one of the greatest shifts that I am so honored to be your beloved and watch the transformation before my eyes because it almost seemed as you were speaking and sharing, you were going into deeper awarenesses and healing at the same time, really transformation that were connecting the dots to each experience that went back to your early childhood.
- 28:41SPEAKER_02: Yeah, so you said something that I want to just correct if I'm right.
- 28:44SPEAKER_02: You said, you know, hold the space for me to speak truth.
- 28:48SPEAKER_02: That was in it, you hold the space for me to speak the struggle.
- 28:54SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 28:54SPEAKER_02: You hold the space for me to speak the challenge I was having.
- 28:59SPEAKER_02: So not the truth of who I am.
- 29:01SPEAKER_02: I'm talking about what my human flesh is experiencing.
- 29:05SPEAKER_00: What I meant truth was like the capacity of what was coming through so that you didn't have to hold back.
- 29:11SPEAKER_00: You couldn't hold it.
- 29:13SPEAKER_00: You could fully feel safe, feel comfortable, and just allow what was coming through because somewhere each time that you were expressing, there were, let's just say, discomforts or areas connected to safety, which you can talk about that shifted these beliefs and then allowed you to affirm what no longer serves you.
- 29:36SPEAKER_02: Well, I mean, the safety was a huge one because first feeling safe enough to share with you what I'm experiencing.
- 29:43SPEAKER_02: Can you actually like because I I felt like you're not really hearing, you're not, you're not really grasping what I'm going through.
- 29:51SPEAKER_02: Like it's not that I've become weak.
- 29:54SPEAKER_02: It's like my human is really going through a challenge.
- 29:58SPEAKER_02: And I felt like you weren't fully aware of it.
- 30:01SPEAKER_02: So then do I feel safe enough to open up to tell you what a challenging time that I'm experiencing?
- 30:09SPEAKER_02: Because you know me as someone very, very strong.
- 30:12SPEAKER_02: So there was that safety.
- 30:14SPEAKER_02: Then it was the safety of being able to actually verbalize how awful I felt on the inside and what it tied to, because I'd experienced some of those before, and I was very afraid to go down that path again.
- 30:32SPEAKER_02: So to actually be able to verbalize it, you know, I didn't feel safe enough to do that.
- 30:40SPEAKER_02: Yet, you know, your invitation was very important.
- 30:44SPEAKER_02: The other one was, you know, you know, I brought it up saying like I I being weak or being vulnerable has been not a choice in my life, especially as a child.
- 31:01SPEAKER_02: And uh what?
- 31:03SPEAKER_00: And almost a negative experience.
- 31:05SPEAKER_02: Well, yeah, because if if you know, especially growing up, there was not there wasn't the option for me to be weak, or there wasn't the option for me to be, even as a child, to be vulnerable, because that would lead to a negative experience or negative consequence.
- 31:23SPEAKER_02: So so as a survival mechanism, I learned I have to just be proper, I have to have my stuff together, I have to, you know, protect, I have to, you know, I have to do this in order to be okay, to be safe.
- 31:39SPEAKER_02: So somehow I developed this faulty way, but it was just a survival way.
- 31:46SPEAKER_02: This is how I'm safe.
- 31:47SPEAKER_02: So no, I cannot be, you know, weak and vulnerable.
- 31:53SPEAKER_02: And there's a luxury of there is a luxury to be able to be in this space where you can give yourself truly permission to be weak and vulnerable, being safe, that nothing bad will happen to you.
- 32:08SPEAKER_02: And that's when it's like, okay, as we talk through it, like, okay, God Almighty is here, God Almighty is okay that I'm experiencing that my human self is experiencing all of this symptomology and challenging it is, and it's safe for me to experience it.
- 32:30SPEAKER_02: And I don't have to protect myself, God Almighty is here, and also with you, you are able to hold that space of safety for me so that I can go through it without having to suppress it again, without having to cover it up.
- 32:46SPEAKER_00: And I feel you said something that was a game changer, and I'm gonna share it because I feel many times there's this old belief that if I'm in a mode of discomfort, it's not safe.
- 33:01SPEAKER_00: If I'm feeling bad, it's not safe.
- 33:05SPEAKER_00: If I'm not okay, it's not safe.
- 33:08SPEAKER_00: And I felt like when you start to peel back those old beliefs and like, wow, ever since I was young, I didn't feel safe when anytime I was uncomfortable.
- 33:21SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 33:21SPEAKER_00: And by you literally saying, it's safe for me to feel uncomfortable, it's safe for me to be not okay.
- 33:28SPEAKER_00: It's okay to be not okay.
- 33:30SPEAKER_00: All of a sudden, it felt like the web was starting to break down, where it was then dropping you into deeper moments of like, oh, this connects me to my childhood.
- 33:40SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it connects me to the abandonment.
- 33:43SPEAKER_00: And then all of a sudden, this space started to open up within you where you literally told me, Michael, I'm starting to feel my meridians open.
- 33:52SPEAKER_00: I'm starting to see an energy shift because not only were you shifting the old belief now into a new empowered belief by saying, God is the source of my safety, God is the source of my health, God is the source of my well-being.
- 34:09SPEAKER_00: Then you were declaring what the new belief is, and then your body started to shift.
- 34:16SPEAKER_02: Yeah, my body started responding, especially when I kept saying, um, it's safe for me to be in this body.
- 34:22SPEAKER_02: Yes.
- 34:22SPEAKER_02: It is safe to be in this body while it's going through discomfort.
- 34:27SPEAKER_02: It's safe to be in it, like something horrible is not going to happen.
- 34:32SPEAKER_02: And and as as inside of me, it's like it's like this tight grip over me that had been there for like three, four weeks, it it lost its grip.
- 34:42SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 34:43SPEAKER_02: And which was the grip of the grief, sadness that tied into I wasn't supported before.
- 34:50SPEAKER_02: And one of the most beautiful things you said that day was Sunday, you said, honey, back then, those experiences, you had to go through this alone.
- 34:59SPEAKER_02: But look, no, you're not alone.
- 35:01SPEAKER_02: Look, God is with you, I'm with you.
- 35:03SPEAKER_02: And that's when something clicked on the inside of me that I don't have to do it all on my own anymore.
- 35:10SPEAKER_02: It's like I've had to live this life experience literally on my own, as very early on.
- 35:18SPEAKER_02: And this is the story of many of the women, where as a child, you've had to be the adult, where your adults couldn't be adults for you.
- 35:27SPEAKER_02: And and you and it's not your fault.
- 35:30SPEAKER_02: You you just don't know, you develop a survival mechanism, and and that's been running the show underneath.
- 35:37SPEAKER_00: And I'm really thankful you said that because I also expressed that, honey, you were never alone.
- 35:44SPEAKER_00: God was with you, but at that age, sometimes we're not aware that God is present.
- 35:50SPEAKER_00: And because you've been so devoted, and for listeners that are so connected and know that there's no separation, because I said, honey, there's no separation of you and God, that there then started to become this deeper truth of saying, Wow, I'm not alone.
- 36:05SPEAKER_00: God is with me right here.
- 36:07SPEAKER_00: This, and I might remember I kept saying these symptoms, this is not bigger than God.
- 36:13SPEAKER_00: Yeah, God is bigger than this, and you and God as a team, and of course, the environment that I was playing, sitting in my heart, being compassionate, listening, hearing from you, and then quietly guiding by a word or two of allowing this openness because it just felt to me the resistance started to break away from the old patterns of the beliefs and programs that were just programmed.
- 36:44SPEAKER_00: And then all of a sudden, as those started to create space, it gave you the permission to all of a sudden break through and now feel the natural divine nature that you've always been, but now detached from these areas that within most, I would say, women, it comes down to safety.
- 37:06SPEAKER_00: It comes down to security, it comes down to stable.
- 37:09SPEAKER_00: And I love what you said.
- 37:11SPEAKER_00: You said, wow, this is the first time I really feel safe in my body when expressing that.
- 37:19SPEAKER_00: And that, and that like, like I had tears in my in my soul because how many times can we go to these really deep vulnerable areas?
- 37:31SPEAKER_00: Because a lot of times in this culture we have to be strong, you have to be tough, you have to always look like that.
- 37:39SPEAKER_00: That weakness, that vulnerability is looked at as a negative when really the vulnerability is an opening to receive God's presence to dissolve.
- 37:49SPEAKER_00: Because the one area that you said was like, wow, bringing God's love into each of these areas was like the dismantling process.
- 38:00SPEAKER_00: And that love that was being held in our union, in our space felt like it was the beautiful key to then have this moment, which I said, honey, if you can do this, imagine next waves or the next experiences that happen.
- 38:16SPEAKER_00: Because once again, this is an opportunity to use as a as a protocol, as an opportunity to hold that safe space and just express what needs to be heard and for you to revisit it in a whole new way so that a new version and a new story then can be created from it.
- 38:34SPEAKER_00: So thank you for sharing in your truth.
- 38:36SPEAKER_00: And I feel like it's given our ability in a sacred marriage, in a sacred relationship, to at least share this to others that are going through these experiences, especially for you, for women that are going through menopause, perimenopause, to find mentors, find people to say, How are you going through this?
- 38:55SPEAKER_00: For couples that are in the midst of, let's just say, entanglement, because it does challenge not just the woman, not just the man, but all aspects of any relationship that there needs to be a language and a higher awareness of how to navigate through it.
- 39:12SPEAKER_00: And I felt this was one of the areas that we both walked away in just deep reverence, deep love.
- 39:19SPEAKER_02: But that also came very true, that also came, Michael, out of a couple of things.
- 39:25SPEAKER_02: It also came out of initially before that you weren't really understanding, right?
- 39:31SPEAKER_02: You couldn't quite grasp, and it and it and it led to a place where I was just in my lowest of the lowest that you had to see to be like, wow, we're dealing with something else here.
- 39:43SPEAKER_02: And what's important, like, look, we've taught belief, thought, emotion, self-mastery.
- 39:49SPEAKER_02: We've gone through that, we've gone through changing the beliefs, identity, mastering stuff.
- 39:55SPEAKER_02: That's beautiful, right?
- 39:57SPEAKER_02: When you're meeting some of these deeper places in your pains and what have you, where which we meant it from what I've just experienced the last five weeks, this is at a whole different level.
- 40:10SPEAKER_02: This is like a whole different ballgame.
- 40:13SPEAKER_02: That's true.
- 40:14SPEAKER_02: This was a complete different ballgame that you know really it brought me to my knees and feeling so much compassion for other women.
- 40:22SPEAKER_02: So, and along the way, it's like, okay, we have to, we have to bring it out public to talk about it, because we're thick in it, going to take the shame, embarrassment out of it.
- 40:34SPEAKER_02: And then also I was like, wait a minute.
- 40:36SPEAKER_02: So this makes a lot of sense when men are going through men like crisis.
- 40:40SPEAKER_02: Most definitely the women are going through, you know, the menopause, perimenopause, and that's why it's that chaos.
- 40:47SPEAKER_02: That's why there's so much divorces, because all the childhood wounds are coming out.
- 40:53SPEAKER_02: But for example, if it's coming out in the woman, the man may not know going what's going on because the mood is shift, they're snappy, all of this.
- 41:02SPEAKER_02: They have no idea how to deal with that.
- 41:04SPEAKER_02: They think the woman has the all it's often like, what happened to my wife?
- 41:10SPEAKER_02: Like, over what happened to it?
- 41:11SPEAKER_02: It's almost like overnight.
- 41:13SPEAKER_02: So this is why we're bringing, we're bringing, you know, light into it.
- 41:17SPEAKER_02: And like, for example, then you have these moments like last night, like when you get up, and of course you need to get sleep, right?
- 41:24SPEAKER_02: So you then my sleep was off.
- 41:26SPEAKER_02: So I was up, you know, again, as usual, sitting with the presence of God.
- 41:30SPEAKER_02: I mean, you went to the other room.
- 41:31SPEAKER_01: No, I didn't go to the other room.
- 41:32SPEAKER_01: I retreated to the other room because sometimes it feels like I'm in another island.
- 41:37SPEAKER_01: Well, you had to get sleep.
- 41:38SPEAKER_02: So and then, but you what what happened?
- 41:41SPEAKER_02: I felt like an abandoned, like doing I grabbed my pillow, I felt like an abandoned person.
- 41:46SPEAKER_02: I came in, like, hey, can I sleep with you?
- 41:48SPEAKER_02: Mima, it's hot, my body's like dredging hot.
- 41:52SPEAKER_01: I said, Of course you're not.
- 41:53SPEAKER_02: You said you were you were amazing, and then we were up laughing again because what do we do with this much heat in the body?
- 42:00SPEAKER_02: We can't even like touch each other's body.
- 42:03SPEAKER_02: It's like so hard.
- 42:04SPEAKER_02: And and the level of laughter last night was really amazing because because the insanity of going through this, it's really insane.
- 42:13SPEAKER_02: It's you know, yet somehow we have to go through it, and you know, through doing just the best you can to go through going going through it is the best.
- 42:28SPEAKER_02: And you know how you in the midst of this, you're trying to have me be more clear.
- 42:33SPEAKER_02: My language is, you know, my words are swirling, my what do you call it, like forgetfulness and things I can't remember, all sorts of things taking place.
- 42:46SPEAKER_02: You're trying to trying to laugh through it.
- 42:50SPEAKER_02: I'm really trying to laugh through it, and it's insanity.
- 42:53SPEAKER_02: That's all, that's the best word I have for it.
- 42:56SPEAKER_00: Isn't it interesting?
- 42:57SPEAKER_00: Once we start to laugh at it all, you became tired, you fell asleep, and it was just this nature of like, okay, this is happening, but if we take it so seriously and get caught so in it, we're pulling ourselves so far that we don't have to have all the answers right now.
- 43:14SPEAKER_00: We don't have to have all the solutions, but what we can do is just take each moment.
- 43:20SPEAKER_00: You said it so elegantly when we can bring that love into the care of it so the compassion can be seated through our actions, through our wonderful talks at night, and most important in embracing and surrendering because we can't fight it.
- 43:37SPEAKER_00: We can't, you know, resist it.
- 43:40SPEAKER_00: The only thing we can do is embrace it.
- 43:42SPEAKER_00: And I feel this is most important for those that have menopause, perimenopause, for husbands, partners, family that are experiencing it, really to step back and to understand it from a deeper lens that the woman is not going crazy, the woman is actually shifting into.
- 44:00SPEAKER_00: Her highest and greatest version of herself.
- 44:02SPEAKER_00: And if anything, it's going to help the whole family, if not you, to a greater element.
- 44:08SPEAKER_02: Because but all the crap is coming up first.
- 44:10SPEAKER_00: All the crap is coming up.
- 44:11SPEAKER_02: Let's just be honest.
- 44:13SPEAKER_00: Which is honest, which I find that is the greatest mastery of how to do it.
- 44:18SPEAKER_00: Because, you know, what I'm seeing, and I just saw this, you know, today, is why are so many people separating?
- 44:25SPEAKER_00: Why are so many people going divorced?
- 44:27SPEAKER_00: Because many of us weren't taught that our inner child is actually being revealed in our relationships.
- 44:37SPEAKER_00: And if our inner child has not been met with the pains, the trauma, the hurt, and we're not aware of how to process that, then our relationship's going to take that toll.
- 44:48SPEAKER_00: And it takes mad respect to step back and not say, well, he, she's doing this.
- 44:53SPEAKER_00: I have to go back to my inner child.
- 44:55SPEAKER_00: I have to look at myself to see how am I reacting, how am I choosing to move through it, because it takes such a level of consciousness that that's why we have these conversations to say, what are we meeting?
- 45:07SPEAKER_00: Whose responsibility is?
- 45:08SPEAKER_00: And at the end of the day, how much love, compassion, and most important, empathy can we hold for these menopause, perimenopause, and insane moments that we can't quite understand, but all we can do is embrace so that we can move through it in as much ease as possible.
- 45:31SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 45:32SPEAKER_00: And so it's it's one of those areas I feel that we're going to be diving deeper into, especially in sacred relationships, especially what comes up the good, the bad, the ugly, the insane.
- 45:46SPEAKER_00: But to have a language behind it, to know that you're not alone, to know that we are here, God Almighty's here, and we're devoted to bring this from what I always say the truth of our heart, the authenticity that others get to understand at a deeper level, because these are the conversations that we have at night.
- 46:06SPEAKER_00: We would probably have this podcast on pre-record if we could be at 3:30 a.m.
- 46:11SPEAKER_00: and just have this deeper elements because I almost want to record it because we sit there and we're like in astonishment, being like, wow, look at what we're experiencing and look what hasn't been shared in such a definitive, clear way that could help so many people by just bringing a language to it.
- 46:33SPEAKER_02: Not that a lot of it is is so focused on really the doomsday of it.
- 46:40SPEAKER_02: Yeah, you know, and it's true because it's not, yeah.
- 46:46SPEAKER_02: Yet there's also the presence that we can, and it's still, I have to tell you, there's a struggle to, while the body's going through this much symptomology, to be like, okay, God, I'm I'm all perfect health while your body's going, like right my right now, like my eyes, body, like there's so much happening, yet still the attitude, renewing my mind, renewing my mind.
- 47:10SPEAKER_02: And and being able to, you and I experience this as a couple, I really see how we can easily help other couples where they don't have to get separated, they don't have to get divorced.
- 47:22SPEAKER_02: You know, there is a way to greater compassion, care, understanding of what's happening, be able to, you know, you you have like a language for men to help them and for women, it's like, oh, listen, let's include the presence of God in here, that your symptoms can be, you know, I talked to my microchondria, they can be renewed.
- 47:45SPEAKER_02: You know, there's so many different options around this.
- 47:49SPEAKER_02: And having said, having said all of that, what one of the things I just want to really share before we close off, if I feel it's so important for the woman on this call to understand you're not broken, you are you're not losing your shit.
- 48:09SPEAKER_02: Let's just be honest.
- 48:11SPEAKER_02: There's a dismantling happening in you all at once because the true you doesn't want to put up with living from a survival at that level anymore, being abandoned that you felt it just doesn't want it, it wants to be free from it.
- 48:33SPEAKER_02: There's a there's an inner call that the inside just truly wants to be free.
- 48:38SPEAKER_02: So these are coming up so that we can claim that greater, truer freedom from the presence of God Almighty inside of us.
- 48:47SPEAKER_02: And I feel it takes a little while of collab of calibration in this, and it forces us, women who've been very strong, who've had no choice but to live from that place to ask for greater help, be okay to be vulnerable, be okay to not be able to handle it all, be okay to be okay to not be okay for once.
- 49:19SPEAKER_00: That's so true.
- 49:20SPEAKER_02: And like right this moment as we are recording this, honestly, I'm not okay as we're recording this.
- 49:28SPEAKER_02: I'm not okay in terms of I'm definitely not my 100%, I'm probably functioning from I would say now what 20%.
- 49:37SPEAKER_02: I'm not yet I'm okay being in here and removing the shame, removing the embarrassment, removing the label that you're not aligned with God, or that you know you're you're doing something wrong.
- 49:55SPEAKER_02: To know this is what my human is experiencing, but it is not who I am.
- 50:03SPEAKER_02: This is really important.
- 50:05SPEAKER_02: I know while my body is this exhausted right now as we're recording this, I know still who I am, and I know who God Almighty made me to be.
- 50:15SPEAKER_02: And I have compassion.
- 50:16SPEAKER_02: First, I feel to have self-compassion, I have self-compassion.
- 50:20SPEAKER_02: Okay, all that lack of sleep, my body is really struggling right now, and it's okay.
- 50:27SPEAKER_02: And it's okay if I don't take on other things, and it's okay if I don't try to push myself, it's okay if I don't go get myself busy like I did before, just to try to make myself busy to forget about it, and to actually be very present.
- 50:47SPEAKER_02: Okay, I noticed this, it's the head pressure, the eye pressure, you can see it in the video.
- 50:54SPEAKER_02: It's all there and it's okay.
- 50:56SPEAKER_02: Is it doomsday?
- 50:58SPEAKER_02: No.
- 50:59SPEAKER_02: You know, is my heart still a good place?
- 51:01SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 51:02SPEAKER_02: Would this pass?
- 51:04SPEAKER_02: Yes.
- 51:06SPEAKER_02: And ask for the support.
- 51:12SPEAKER_02: Ask for the support that you need, the person that can hear you unconditionally and not judge you, and actually help you move, move through those those waves that gets really tough.
- 51:27SPEAKER_00: And I would say at 20%, honey, your wisdom and what you expressed and what God has come through you in this episode is beyond 100%.
- 51:39SPEAKER_00: Because all I know is what you've shared is invaluable, and how women can feel more normal of your experiences.
- 51:49SPEAKER_00: And this is just the first of many episodes of what we're going to be bringing forward in sacred relationships, in sacred marriage, higher consciousness, because we know what we're going through has an impact not only on how we move through it, but how we can help the men, how you can help the women.
- 52:08SPEAKER_00: For one week from today, I have my next Conscious of All Men's Circle, and I'll be having a dear brother, Seth Prozensky, and we'll be bringing forth a powerful topic of faith.
- 52:21SPEAKER_00: Men having faith that they can get through menopause without separation, divorce, and women that can have that beautiful awareness.
- 52:32SPEAKER_02: That there's light on the other side of this.
- 52:35SPEAKER_00: And so, no matter how much these struggles may come forward, we show up, we speak, and we allow this to come forth because we know if there's just one person or a million people that may hear a message that they can feel within their heart, we know God is directing us in a mission that's connecting to other mission-driven couples.
