- 0:01We are able to perceive and respond to specific frequency
- 0:05ranges. Anything above or below the
- 0:09frequency ranges to which we are attuned does not register with
- 0:13us consciously, although there may be some subtle impact and
- 0:18energetic action that takes place.
- 0:20Even so, we see that in the case of the opera singer who can
- 0:25shatter glass when she reaches a certain note and pitch, that the
- 0:30glass vibrated only when that frequency was attained and
- 0:34otherwise remained stable in its constitution of being a vessel
- 0:39of glass. Sympathetic strings on a sitar
- 0:43are made to vibrate each to a particular frequency, thus
- 0:47providing the range of sounds. Similarly, when vital vibrations
- 0:53of fear, desire, greed, compassion, aspiration, or pity,
- 1:00any vital vibration is active, it only raises up activity in
- 1:05those individuals who are tuned and ready to receive and respond
- 1:10to them. It is this secret that underlies
- 1:14the philosophical approach of the Stoic, who habituates
- 1:18himself to not respond to vital vibrations that otherwise put
- 1:23other individuals into action. We can see something similar in
- 1:28the physical body when it comes to the force of illness.
- 1:32When a disease is virulent, it not only has its physical
- 1:36action, but IT projects through humanity a vibration of fear or
- 1:41panic. The fear effect that occurs in a
- 1:45plague or pandemic can cause tremendous disruption to the
- 1:49natural vital envelope protecting the body and thus
- 1:54actually is part of the process of infection.
- 1:58An observation of an actual event illustrates this
- 2:01principle. A number of people had gathered
- 2:05in Washington, DC in 1971 to protest the US involvement in
- 2:10the war in Vietnam. A demonstration occurred outside
- 2:15the HHS headquarters. Health and Human Services.
- 2:19President Nixon arranged to have the peaceful demonstrators
- 2:22surrounded and arrested. When the police showed up armed
- 2:27with Billy clubs and helmets and Shields and with their motorized
- 2:32transport vehicles, and surrounded the demonstrators, a
- 2:36palpable sense of fear surged through the crowd.
- 2:41One or more people, however, seem to be able to overcome that
- 2:44fear, and they began to chant OHM.
- 2:49The crowd quickly took up the chant and instantly the fear
- 2:53dissolved and the people were at peace with the situation.
- 2:59They were arrested, driven away and locked up, but did not any
- 3:04longer have the panic reaction with which they first reacted,
- 3:10the mother observes. Quote.
- 3:13When we say that great waves of passion pass through people and
- 3:17that they are not generated in them but pass through them, it
- 3:20is perfectly true. But if there was someone
- 3:24absolutely immune from all possibility of passion, they
- 3:29could pass by for centuries. He wouldn't even feel them.
- 3:34He could see them, see them passing as one sees a storm
- 3:38passing in the sky, but he would feel nothing at all.
- 3:43When the vibrations inside oneself answer the vibrations
- 3:47from outside, it means that they are there.
- 3:51Otherwise no vibration can enter.
- 3:54There are examples like this. For instance, a crowd is seized
- 3:59by panic. Well, it is always possible that
- 4:03there are one or two persons who resist the panic, who are not
- 4:06touched, are outside it. They can save the situation.
- 4:11This has happened many a time. The reason why a movement of
- 4:16vibration, a forceful movement, is contagious is because the
- 4:21ground for contagion is there. End Quote Reference Shrioro
