- 0:00Speaker 1: This is the Ben and Ashley I almost famous podcast
- 0:03Speaker 1: with iHeartRadio.
- 0:05Speaker 2: It's almost famous podcast. Been here with one of my
- 0:10Speaker 2: favorite people in the world, Wells, Adams. Wells, we got
- 0:12Speaker 2: a lot to talk about. Yeah, how are you feeling today? Uh?
- 0:16Speaker 2: Sluggish this morning? Yeah? Yeah, I mean too. And I
- 0:18Speaker 2: had fun last night. It was awesome. It was an
- 0:21Speaker 2: amazing time.
- 0:22Speaker 3: We got to play in this like really cool golf tournament,
- 0:23Speaker 3: which we can talk about in a bit. And then
- 0:25Speaker 3: we went to this concert that was sponsored and hosted
- 0:28Speaker 3: by Jaco, And then there was a there was some
- 0:31Speaker 3: sort of auction for a good cost the Monior Peninsula Foundation,
- 0:34Speaker 3: which gives money back to First Tea, and we decided
- 0:37Speaker 3: it was a good idea to buy a three thousand dollars.
- 0:39Speaker 2: Bottle of wine. Yeah we did. Yeah. Do I have
- 0:43Speaker 2: three thousand dollars to spend on a bottle of one? No?
- 0:44Speaker 2: Absolutely not. I was reminded that this morning. Yeah, when
- 0:48Speaker 2: I looked at my I have like the wiring instructions. Yeah,
- 0:51Speaker 2: I was like, oh, yeah, that's one of those that hurts.
- 0:54Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 0:54Speaker 3: I woke up this morning talking to my wife and
- 0:57Speaker 3: she goes, so, how do you feel about buying that
- 0:59Speaker 3: bottle of and I.
- 1:00Speaker 2: Was like, oh, I forgot I did that. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:04Speaker 2: now here's the deal. It goes to a great cost.
- 1:07Speaker 2: It's also eight bottles of wine all in one big
- 1:10Speaker 2: jumbo thing. You can check me on this.
- 1:14Speaker 3: I think it's either called a Neba Canezer or Methuselah,
- 1:17Speaker 3: which is the largest bottle of wine that they make,
- 1:19Speaker 3: and it's gigantic.
- 1:21Speaker 2: Yeah, what are we going to do with a gigantic
- 1:24Speaker 2: bottle of wine?
- 1:24Speaker 3: I know we're both married, so like, we don't need
- 1:26Speaker 3: to take it to a wedding. No, I told you today.
- 1:29Speaker 3: I think it would be a good idea. You're doing
- 1:30Speaker 3: your big golf tournament coming up this summer, big, Yeah,
- 1:34Speaker 3: why not take it out there? And I mean we'll
- 1:36Speaker 3: have like thirty guys to drink some delicious Cabernet Sauvignan
- 1:41Speaker 3: and yeah, all on us.
- 1:42Speaker 2: Yeah, and imported from the Monterey Peninsula. This is at
- 1:46Speaker 2: and T week for the PGA Tour. That's why we're
- 1:49Speaker 2: out here. We like to come to this event. You're
- 1:51Speaker 2: from here. Yesterday we had a really cool opportunity where
- 1:55Speaker 2: we played in a Part three competition at the hay
- 1:59Speaker 2: Yep alongside Ricky Fowler and Alexa Melton, and then the
- 2:04Speaker 2: Pointer brothers who are like YouTube golf.
- 2:06Speaker 3: Influencers, TikToker guys. They do like the side eye like thing.
- 2:10Speaker 3: This is a podcast. You didn't see my face there, No,
- 2:13Speaker 3: but it's really cool, and I think there's we need
- 2:14Speaker 3: to have like a little bit of context. So we're
- 2:16Speaker 3: in Pebble Beach, which is Monterey Peninsula. Pebble each obviously
- 2:20Speaker 3: have this famous golf course of which they're playing this weekend.
- 2:24Speaker 3: But then also the US opens coming here next year,
- 2:27Speaker 3: and it's this pro am where you know, it's all
- 2:30Speaker 3: the PGA professionals playing alongside celebrities. Originally started as the
- 2:35Speaker 3: bing Crosby clam Bake years ago where he would just
- 2:38Speaker 3: have all his friends come and kroon and play golf
- 2:41Speaker 3: and get drunk at the tap room and stuff. But
- 2:44Speaker 3: then also in Pebble Beach, obviously there's a bunch of
- 2:45Speaker 3: different golf courses and one of them is a small
- 2:48Speaker 3: part three course called the Hay. Now I grew up here,
- 2:52Speaker 3: it was called Peter Hay and it was a different layout,
- 2:56Speaker 3: but I played a lot of like junior golf there
- 2:59Speaker 3: and now seeing so Tiger Woods came in like five
- 3:02Speaker 3: years ago and redid the entire thing, redid the routing,
- 3:04Speaker 3: made all the holes look like iconic pebble beach holes.
- 3:09Speaker 3: And so yeah, getting to play ja Co Owen's Part
- 3:11Speaker 3: three thing at the Hey, for me, it's like super
- 3:13Speaker 3: special because I grew up working this tournament, coming to
- 3:17Speaker 3: this tournament, being a part of this community, and so yeah,
- 3:21Speaker 3: like pinch me moment.
- 3:22Speaker 2: And I think one of the things I always You've
- 3:25Speaker 2: educated me a lot on the history of this. But
- 3:27Speaker 2: for the listeners and knowing our demo, you know, I
- 3:30Speaker 2: love to talk about golf. We hesitate to do it
- 3:33Speaker 2: because I just don't think it's that interesting for so
- 3:35Speaker 2: many listeners. Yeah, but women have husbands who play golf percent,
- 3:38Speaker 2: you know. But this event specifically is really special because
- 3:43Speaker 2: of the clam bake. Like this was the who's who
- 3:45Speaker 2: in Hollywood would show up, right, Yeah, it would be
- 3:48Speaker 2: a big party kind of like we did last night
- 3:49Speaker 2: with Jake Owens conc here. It's like a big party.
- 3:52Speaker 2: Everybody's dancing, everybody's having a good time. You know. It's
- 3:54Speaker 2: where you want to be seen, and it's now turned
- 3:57Speaker 2: into a PJ Tour event. So it's a little more
- 3:59Speaker 2: like saying in an organized Yeah, but back in the day,
- 4:02Speaker 2: it was literally a clam bake, right.
- 4:04Speaker 3: Yeah, they would have they'd play it at Cyprus and
- 4:07Speaker 3: at Pebble, and it was a four day event and
- 4:10Speaker 3: all the celebrity it was a lot of singers and
- 4:13Speaker 3: actors from like way back in the day, Bob Hope
- 4:15Speaker 3: and Bing Crosby and Sinatra, so all those guys and so,
- 4:19Speaker 3: you know, they would they'd go play. And then those guys,
- 4:22Speaker 3: I mean they did it right like they would like
- 4:25Speaker 3: work hard and then they'd play hard, like they would
- 4:27Speaker 3: go out and play golf, and then afterwards they'd come
- 4:29Speaker 3: back to the lodge, put on a giant concert for everyone.
- 4:33Speaker 3: Croon until four in the morning, get up at six,
- 4:35Speaker 3: go play Cypress. Like you can read all these old
- 4:38Speaker 3: stories of like these old you know, acting and singing
- 4:42Speaker 3: greats coming to the Peninsula and doing it. So there's
- 4:44Speaker 3: a little bit of like the old ghosts here in
- 4:46Speaker 3: this town that represent what that tournament used to be.
- 4:51Speaker 3: And for me, it's a special one. And I also
- 4:53Speaker 3: just think that like objectively speaking, it's the it's the
- 4:56Speaker 3: best looking golf course in the world. And then you
- 5:00Speaker 3: when you watched on TV, even if you don't care
- 5:02Speaker 3: about golf, the drone shots that they do going over
- 5:06Speaker 3: you know, six, seven, eight nine, the seventeen and eighteen
- 5:09Speaker 3: at Pebble Beach are just like iconic.
- 5:11Speaker 2: The I told you this yesterday. And I have in
- 5:15Speaker 2: my last like ten years of life some of my
- 5:18Speaker 2: best memories with you, Like if I think of like
- 5:21Speaker 2: my top ten highlight moments, like you're a part of
- 5:23Speaker 2: so many of those, And yesterday we're playing clothes on
- 5:26Speaker 2: well sometimes I can't see. Yesterday, We're walking down the fairway,
- 5:32Speaker 2: Ricky Fowler is there, all these pros are playing with us,
- 5:37Speaker 2: the oceans in front of us, and I had one
- 5:39Speaker 2: of those moments where I was like, I cannot believe
- 5:41Speaker 2: we get to do this. Yeah, like just it's one
- 5:43Speaker 2: of those moments you're like, this is how life has
- 5:46Speaker 2: worked out and it's so special. It's also one of
- 5:50Speaker 2: the reasons we had such a great time last night.
- 5:52Speaker 2: If you've never been to Carmel by the Sea or
- 5:54Speaker 2: the Monterey Peninsula, I've been coming now for the last
- 5:57Speaker 2: few years with the show, and it's always been just
- 6:01Speaker 2: a spectacular time. It's one of the reasons why yesterday
- 6:04Speaker 2: was so fun to me too, is we got to
- 6:06Speaker 2: play in the tournament, and then we went to the
- 6:08Speaker 2: tap room, which is this like iconic bar at Pebble Beach.
- 6:12Speaker 2: It's a place that you just want to sit and
- 6:14Speaker 2: people watch and talk to people forever at the bar there.
- 6:17Speaker 2: And then we went to the concert and then we
- 6:19Speaker 2: ended at Mission Ranch, right. Uh, And Mission Ranch is,
- 6:24Speaker 2: oh is it? I didn't know that. It is like
- 6:27Speaker 2: getting thrown back in time at every point, Like it's
- 6:31Speaker 2: the colors of it. The bar, there is a piano player,
- 6:35Speaker 2: there is singers. They're one of the singers at some
- 6:38Speaker 2: point last night sat down at our table and was
- 6:40Speaker 2: singing a song, and I think we sing with her. Uh.
- 6:44Speaker 2: It's one of those places where even if you don't
- 6:46Speaker 2: mean to, you're gonna have a great time by just
- 6:49Speaker 2: being in the environment. Yeah.
- 6:50Speaker 3: Like I said, like the old ghosts of they still
- 6:53Speaker 3: haunt this place. And definitely a Mission Ranch I told
- 6:57Speaker 3: you last night. But what's like special about Mission Ranch
- 6:59Speaker 3: to me is that my grandfather Buzy well that's Portuguese
- 7:03Speaker 3: for grandfather. He would go there and croon and play
- 7:07Speaker 3: the piano and sing, and you know he was like
- 7:10Speaker 3: in his eighties when he was doing it and he
- 7:13Speaker 3: was single, and he was doing a lot of things
- 7:18Speaker 3: in some of those rooms with missing ranch.
- 7:20Speaker 2: I think he's probably as handsome as you're you and
- 7:24Speaker 2: the family is, and I'm imagining this like eighty year
- 7:26Speaker 2: old Portuguese man. Yeah, like charm and talent. Yeah.
- 7:30Speaker 3: He was a really good accordion player. He was just
- 7:33Speaker 3: like old school. Yeah, a good accordion player would sound
- 7:37Speaker 3: like Sinatra, but he would single Portuguese songs too, which
- 7:40Speaker 3: I think made a lot of women weak at the knees,
- 7:42Speaker 3: you know, yeah, might do it for me.
- 7:44Speaker 2: Yeah. So yeah, So every time I go in there, it's.
- 7:46Speaker 3: Like, I'm like, oh, man, this is where my grandfather
- 7:50Speaker 3: used to try to take down scores.
- 7:54Speaker 2: There's ghost in this room. Yeah. So an amazing week
- 7:58Speaker 2: out here at the AT and T. Thanks to the
- 8:00Speaker 2: PGA Tour again for having us. We're always excited to
- 8:04Speaker 2: be a part of it and excited to support also.
- 8:07Speaker 2: Before we kind of dive into really what people want
- 8:10Speaker 2: to hear about, which is your connection to the traders
- 8:13Speaker 2: and some of the stuff happening around the world, you
- 8:15Speaker 2: just have congratulations. You just had a new show launched
- 8:18Speaker 2: on the Golf Channel. It's called a Vanity Index podcast. Yep,
- 8:22Speaker 2: it is fantastic. I've loved every episode. Your guests have
- 8:26Speaker 2: been you at this point, like five weeks in, probably
- 8:30Speaker 2: have the best guest list of any show on television
- 8:32Speaker 2: outside of like maybe a late show, which is going
- 8:35Speaker 2: to be a hard thing to keep up with. Yeah
- 8:37Speaker 2: it is, but it's been a home run. I mean,
- 8:40Speaker 2: it's a great show. And if anybody tunes in, it's
- 8:43Speaker 2: ten am on Wednesdays right today a m.
- 8:45Speaker 3: Eastern on Wednesday mornings, and then a replay at ten
- 8:48Speaker 3: pm Eastern on Wednesday evening. Yeah, if you like golf,
- 8:52Speaker 3: then you should watch the show's but it's not about
- 8:56Speaker 3: it's a for the people that don't play golf. One
- 8:58Speaker 3: of the fun things about and you go play golf
- 9:01Speaker 3: is getting the beer afterwards. Like that to me is
- 9:04Speaker 3: a very big part of it. Hence why the tap
- 9:06Speaker 3: room is so iconic, because that's where you go get
- 9:08Speaker 3: your drink after Pebble Beach.
- 9:10Speaker 2: And so I wanted to make a.
- 9:11Speaker 3: Show where the stories that you have around the table
- 9:15Speaker 3: after the round of golf with the beer. I wanted
- 9:18Speaker 3: to like make that into a show, which we were
- 9:20Speaker 3: able to do. And you know, we've I've got a
- 9:22Speaker 3: bunch of you know, talented celebrity friends that I can
- 9:25Speaker 3: kind of call and be like, hey, will you come
- 9:26Speaker 3: on the show, And it's been really fun to do.
- 9:29Speaker 3: We've got this week it's Blake Griffin, number one draft pick.
- 9:33Speaker 3: Golfing great but also like intrinsically one of the funniest
- 9:36Speaker 3: people I've ever in my entire life, and just like
- 9:38Speaker 3: a great hang to be around, telling stories of like
- 9:41Speaker 3: you know, playing against Jordan, like not on the court,
- 9:45Speaker 3: but on the golf course and stuff like like crazy
- 9:47Speaker 3: stories like that. So yeah, if you like golf or
- 9:49Speaker 3: you like golf stories, yeah, tune in.
- 9:52Speaker 2: It's it's a lot of show. You know. One of
- 9:55Speaker 2: the reasons I know that I like you is because
- 9:58Speaker 2: somehow you figured out how to talk about golf for
- 10:01Speaker 2: a living, and I did not get jealous. I got excited.
- 10:04Speaker 2: And most of my life I spent in a place
- 10:06Speaker 2: of like jealousy and envy, And now I watch it
- 10:08Speaker 2: just because I think it's awesome. And somehow you figure
- 10:12Speaker 2: out a way to do it was like a really
- 10:14Speaker 2: windy road and somehow it worked out. But now you're
- 10:16Speaker 2: talking about golf on the Golf Channel.
- 10:18Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't know how I got so lucky, lucky
- 10:23Speaker 3: and talented of the most handsome.
- 10:28Speaker 2: Your date last night we just got in talking about it.
- 10:29Speaker 5: Did you talk about our hot date?
- 10:31Speaker 6: Did you know I got a little bit of like
- 10:33Speaker 6: jingles being around you guys?
- 10:35Speaker 2: Yeah? Did you just because you're like, no, it's fine, Amy.
- 10:42Speaker 5: I'm not gonna lie. I don't know if it was
- 10:44Speaker 5: Jaco when I don't know what got my juices.
- 10:46Speaker 2: No, it's probably it's probably those ghosts at the Mission
- 10:48Speaker 2: Range State. Wells was talking about where his grandfather and
- 10:52Speaker 2: You're like, yeah, this is just a place where like
- 10:54Speaker 2: Portuguese men thrive.
- 10:56Speaker 6: It also might have been Well's sweater, yeah, tight golf pants. Yeah, Like,
- 11:03Speaker 6: I don't want to be inappropriate. No, I get it
- 11:05Speaker 6: because I understand you're both married men. Yeah, nothing weird happened.
- 11:09Speaker 2: No, you can look, but you can't touch how I
- 11:13Speaker 2: was like, it was so fun.
- 11:15Speaker 6: I'm not gonna lie. But we did have a call
- 11:17Speaker 6: this morning. This is totally inappropriate, but since it's on
- 11:19Speaker 6: a podcast, I think it's fine.
- 11:20Speaker 2: Okay. I don't know how that I literally was like.
- 11:23Speaker 6: To the other girls on the no, because it's not
- 11:24Speaker 6: a podcast, you're allowed to be a little bit more
- 11:26Speaker 6: flirty than Oh yeah, yeah.
- 11:27Speaker 5: Behind the scenes, I said to.
- 11:29Speaker 6: A girl who will remain nameless, Danielle, and I said.
- 11:33Speaker 2: Would you rather well ben what she says?
- 11:36Speaker 5: You each got one vote? Say who picked?
- 11:40Speaker 2: Ten votes? Who do you think Amy picked? I've all
- 11:44Speaker 2: I think Amy is a big thing for the Adams brothers.
- 11:47Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, she's she's picking me to get closer than
- 11:52Speaker 3: my brother.
- 11:53Speaker 2: There's a dream that plays out here that Amy has
- 11:56Speaker 2: always been very open about.
- 11:57Speaker 5: And it's yeah, I'm not saying you're right.
- 11:59Speaker 2: But it's just an easy giveaway for the right train.
- 12:05Speaker 6: Guys, did you talk about how like you absolutely made
- 12:10Speaker 6: the party happen?
- 12:12Speaker 4: Oh yeah, I mean I like to say I did it.
- 12:14Speaker 4: He did, He said to do this. So here's the scenario.
- 12:18Speaker 4: We're sitting there, Jacob's playing it's a great time, but
- 12:20Speaker 4: it's like a very like sit down crowd, and Will says,
- 12:24Speaker 4: you know what I think would be great is if
- 12:26Speaker 4: we got up there and started dancing, and so we did,
- 12:29Speaker 4: and then what happened forty other people followed.
- 12:33Speaker 5: It was so good, It was so good, and did
- 12:35Speaker 5: you know it was not lost on me. So basically
- 12:37Speaker 5: the weird stool.
- 12:39Speaker 6: They the stools were lovely, but they made you slide downward,
- 12:43Speaker 6: so I had to put my feet up, and so
- 12:45Speaker 6: I put my feet up onto you guys did and
- 12:49Speaker 6: I know and it was during Barefoot Blue Jeans night
- 12:58Speaker 6: and I took my shoes off.
- 13:00Speaker 2: That's a good note.
- 13:02Speaker 5: We are a great threesome.
- 13:04Speaker 2: Whoa nothing inappropriate?
- 13:05Speaker 5: Literally, you guys people listening.
- 13:09Speaker 2: It could not have been more not no, Amy, I've
- 13:12Speaker 2: had some of my best memories with you here in
- 13:15Speaker 2: Carmel by the Sea. Date nights that we've had with
- 13:19Speaker 2: their clothes on. Yeah, very much.
- 13:21Speaker 5: So approved by both your wives.
- 13:23Speaker 2: Huge day night. My wife has never had a second
- 13:26Speaker 2: thought about me saying I'm going with Amy mission.
- 13:30Speaker 6: Because literally this is what the and I don't want
- 13:32Speaker 6: to say like we're famous, but this is like I'm
- 13:35Speaker 6: not famous, you're famous.
- 13:36Speaker 7: People go but we saw Ben and his mom, I said,
- 13:41Speaker 7: older sister, hear the lake fox, I said, older sister, Yeah,
- 13:45Speaker 7: but the other people, Yeah, it happens.
- 13:49Speaker 6: I just spotted Ben Higgins and his mom, which is
- 13:52Speaker 6: your mom's beautiful.
- 13:53Speaker 5: So it's a compliment to me. But like am I
- 13:56Speaker 5: old enough to be your mom.
- 13:57Speaker 2: How do you know thirty six?
- 13:59Speaker 5: No, you too, I'm fifty two. What is that equal?
- 14:02Speaker 5: Actually on the MTV show you your mom as much?
- 14:07Speaker 2: No, you don't need to out. I wasn't even a
- 14:12Speaker 2: part of this, all right?
- 14:14Speaker 5: Can I say ten out of ten night?
- 14:16Speaker 2: Like last night?
- 14:17Speaker 5: Literally ten out?
- 14:20Speaker 2: Really?
- 14:20Speaker 5: Oh my god, you guys not have ten out of ten?
- 14:23Speaker 2: We're just saying we did.
- 14:24Speaker 3: Yeah, but I mean you don't drink and we were
- 14:26Speaker 3: obviously enjoying libations the.
- 14:29Speaker 5: Best part of it because you guys were like.
- 14:31Speaker 2: Loose, yeah, yeah, yeah it was.
- 14:33Speaker 5: And Jake Owen is a babe.
- 14:36Speaker 2: You did comment he looks good, doesn't he? The hair?
- 14:40Speaker 5: The hair, He's got great hair. Did you guys notice
- 14:45Speaker 5: he like shook your hands but hugged me.
- 14:46Speaker 2: I'm just saying, shucks, I'm jealous. Nare I just got
- 14:53Speaker 2: done say I.
- 14:54Speaker 5: Wasn't talented too?
- 14:55Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 14:56Speaker 5: We should get him on this podcast? Are you friends
- 14:59Speaker 5: with him?
- 15:00Speaker 2: Call him up? He's in town. He knows you.
- 15:02Speaker 6: Yeah, like I feel like he knows Ben better than
- 15:05Speaker 6: he knows you.
- 15:05Speaker 3: Oh yeah, I met him for the first time yesterday.
- 15:08Speaker 3: But did I ask him to be on my golf show.
- 15:10Speaker 6: Immediately, do you dive on your golf show last night?
- 15:14Speaker 6: Because you mentioned Rick Dy's. I didn't realize you get
- 15:16Speaker 6: such a good good.
- 15:17Speaker 2: Guess that's what you said. He has the best guests
- 15:19Speaker 2: in the country.
- 15:20Speaker 6: Right now, I've never I didn't even know it existed.
- 15:22Speaker 6: And then you mentioned Rick D's and I was like,
- 15:25Speaker 6: thank you, Easton, And then I was like.
- 15:27Speaker 2: Coming up the next Taylor Swift.
- 15:30Speaker 6: His name's out of my head right now because of menopause,
- 15:32Speaker 6: but the one from When a Man Loved Andy Garcia.
- 15:34Speaker 5: Yeah, I got to do menopause.
- 15:36Speaker 6: Ladies, take a breath, yeah, and it'll come back in.
- 15:38Speaker 6: I was like, what you like a listers is your
- 15:43Speaker 6: famous person?
- 15:44Speaker 3: No, so I married a famous person friends she's also
- 15:52Speaker 3: rich too, man, I really.
- 15:57Speaker 5: Wait, I'll leave you what I interrupted.
- 15:59Speaker 2: I will say this, Okay, So I like, my hair
- 16:01Speaker 2: looked good last night.
- 16:02Speaker 3: Everything was great. No, but you're saying one, thank you
- 16:05Speaker 3: for saying that my sweater.
- 16:07Speaker 5: My thought it not to be weird. You looked and
- 16:10Speaker 5: this is a weird.
- 16:10Speaker 3: Because Rickey Fowler made fun of my sweater and you
- 16:13Speaker 3: looked so cute.
- 16:15Speaker 6: And I don't want to be weird because that feels emasculating,
- 16:17Speaker 6: like you suck.
- 16:18Speaker 5: Like I don't want to say that because.
- 16:19Speaker 6: You and and then I went to a store to
- 16:22Speaker 6: day and they said Preppy is so back, and I go,
- 16:24Speaker 6: wells Adams, Yeah, he's totally starting.
- 16:27Speaker 2: He looked classic, he looked adorable.
- 16:30Speaker 3: But also about the dancing thing, I mean, yes, we
- 16:33Speaker 3: were a little drunk, but everyone's been at one of
- 16:36Speaker 3: those parties that like everyone's stuffy and like not like
- 16:39Speaker 3: letting it, letting go, and you're like, come on, this
- 16:42Speaker 3: is Jake Ohen he plays Arenas and there's there's forty
- 16:46Speaker 3: five people here.
- 16:47Speaker 2: Sure, let's what are we doing?
- 16:50Speaker 4: You know?
- 16:50Speaker 3: So it's like, hey, listen, be the change you want
- 16:53Speaker 3: to see in the world. I want everyone to be dancing.
- 16:56Speaker 3: Let's go.
- 16:56Speaker 2: And they loved it. Oh yeah, it like took off.
- 16:59Speaker 6: Literally how my brain works, because I was like, that
- 17:01Speaker 6: guy sells out places for at least eight to ten
- 17:04Speaker 6: thousand people. Oh yeah, and I'm like ten thousand people
- 17:06Speaker 6: times one hundred dollars a ticket, that's.
- 17:08Speaker 5: One million dollars. We saw a million dollar concert with
- 17:11Speaker 5: just us literally, guys, just that is like, how do
- 17:15Speaker 5: I get so lucky to be like.
- 17:17Speaker 2: You're just talking about I don't know.
- 17:18Speaker 5: I don't know you're talking about for tonight.
- 17:20Speaker 2: It's gonna be great. Yeah, we need to do another
- 17:22Speaker 2: recap night. I don't have what I had last night
- 17:27Speaker 2: in me tonight. What I mean, I have a little.
- 17:30Speaker 6: Bit of it is that because you drank and you
- 17:32Speaker 6: can't do back to back.
- 17:33Speaker 3: No, get him a couple martinis with blue cheese olives
- 17:36Speaker 3: and he'll be just right, and they have.
- 17:39Speaker 5: Some more dip where we're going tonight.
- 17:41Speaker 2: I'll be fine. Yeah, you'll be Yeah, I'll have a
- 17:43Speaker 2: good thing.
- 17:44Speaker 5: He's the youngest one of all of us.
- 17:45Speaker 2: I know, guys, I'm not that young anymore.
- 17:47Speaker 5: Thirty six. We just did the math.
- 17:49Speaker 2: Yeah that is pretty still. Tell me everyone, Yeah.
- 17:54Speaker 5: Should I go?
- 17:54Speaker 6: We're going shopping to get you guys gifts. Okay, great,
- 17:57Speaker 6: If you had your druthers, would you want Carmel ha
- 18:00Speaker 6: or like Carmel sweatshirts or like what would you want?
- 18:02Speaker 2: You know, it's funny sweatshirts. That's the number one.
- 18:05Speaker 3: Thing they sell in Carmel sweatshirts because everyone comes to
- 18:08Speaker 3: Carmel thinking it's going to be warm and it's never
- 18:11Speaker 3: and so it's the number one selling thing in Carmel.
- 18:13Speaker 6: Thank you for the Carmel tidbit local. There's literally sweatshirt
- 18:17Speaker 6: shops just on every corner.
- 18:19Speaker 2: Oh yeah, yeah, Carmel sweatshirts. Sweatshirts legit or a quarter zip.
- 18:23Speaker 5: Mediums boys large, probably.
- 18:27Speaker 2: I'll do it. I'll do a sweater as well, sweater
- 18:29Speaker 2: or sweatshirt sweater. Oh really, I mean if I if
- 18:33Speaker 2: I get to.
- 18:35Speaker 5: Half zip is the ultimate golf.
- 18:37Speaker 3: No, I don't want to have to eighty years old
- 18:41Speaker 3: like a half They have a card again, I would really, Yeah,
- 18:46Speaker 3: it's a card again.
- 18:47Speaker 5: Okay, we're off. Who's going with me?
- 18:49Speaker 2: By the way, I have to get an It.
- 18:51Speaker 3: Must be mentioned that Amy does not do cocaine.
- 18:57Speaker 2: That is wild. Can we one time get some? Okay,
- 19:00Speaker 2: just to see what happens.
- 19:02Speaker 6: This is literally what they told Jake Owen, who is
- 19:05Speaker 6: handsome guys like so handsome. They're telling this very handsome,
- 19:10Speaker 6: very famous country singer, I don't drink, which I don't.
- 19:13Speaker 5: I don't do drugs.
- 19:14Speaker 2: You've never even had it, like nothing, And that I have.
- 19:17Speaker 5: A toilet in the back of my car, And they said,
- 19:19Speaker 5: which I poop in?
- 19:22Speaker 2: Do not poop in?
- 19:23Speaker 5: I've never pooped in that thing ever ever.
- 19:27Speaker 2: But you do have a toilet just in case, but
- 19:29Speaker 2: you have a toilet in the back of your car.
- 19:30Speaker 5: Correct.
- 19:31Speaker 6: And then later in the night, Jake Owen comes back
- 19:34Speaker 6: up to say bye to us, and he goes, I
- 19:36Speaker 6: can't step thing about the pooper in the bay.
- 19:42Speaker 2: It works exactly how I want.
- 19:45Speaker 6: Wow, it's gonna be weird when I see you.
- 19:50Speaker 5: We got to get him on. Are you text friends
- 19:52Speaker 5: with him?
- 19:53Speaker 2: Yeah? Oh my god.
- 19:54Speaker 6: It doesn't have to be today, but like we need
- 19:56Speaker 6: to promote his whole like not just his music, but
- 19:59Speaker 6: like the whole golf thing he's got going.
- 20:00Speaker 5: It was so great think that was for charity.
- 20:02Speaker 2: It was all for charity. We bought a three thousand
- 20:05Speaker 2: dollars bottle a one.
- 20:06Speaker 6: I know, I talked about that too because I was like,
- 20:10Speaker 6: I was like, I don't want to be in you
- 20:13Speaker 6: like that.
- 20:13Speaker 2: Yeah, I knew it. She loves She would like. She's
- 20:19Speaker 2: the type of person that, like on a date, if
- 20:21Speaker 2: the guy who's like dropping like dollars, she'd be like, yeah,
- 20:24Speaker 2: that's my guy. Do were baller?
- 20:28Speaker 5: They're like this mottle a line.
- 20:30Speaker 6: Let's start it at two thousand and then Ben and
- 20:32Speaker 6: Wells just like, hands up, let's go to twenty ven,
- 20:37Speaker 6: three thousand.
- 20:38Speaker 5: Anybody in the back, and Ben and Wells just hands up.
- 20:41Speaker 5: And I was like, oh my.
- 20:43Speaker 2: God, yeah, I gotta, I gotta take a loan. Yeah,
- 20:47Speaker 2: I hope this podcast does really well.
- 20:50Speaker 5: Everybody like and subscribe, liking, subscribe. Okay, we're off to
- 20:53Speaker 5: get you your gifts.
- 20:54Speaker 2: Okay, we'll be back. Okay. So by Order of the Faithfuls,
- 21:07Speaker 2: is a show that you're doing with iHeart about the Traders?
- 21:11Speaker 3: Yeah, so famously, I was on season three of Traders
- 21:15Speaker 3: US where I was banished first, so I lasted two episodes,
- 21:19Speaker 3: which was awesome for my ego. So I now, for
- 21:24Speaker 3: some reason, iHeart deemed me worthy to be able to
- 21:27Speaker 3: talk about the Traders because I was on said two episodes,
- 21:30Speaker 3: and I'd do it with Dolores Catana and Tamra Judge,
- 21:33Speaker 3: who are both housewives.
- 21:35Speaker 2: And your show is also hosted by a housewive. I
- 21:38Speaker 2: can't get away from housewives. Yeah, they're well, they're just expanding. Yeah,
- 21:41Speaker 2: they're just going, you need to be a housewife. I
- 21:44Speaker 2: could see it in mind. Oh you know, you need
- 21:46Speaker 2: to be you need to be on season five of
- 21:48Speaker 2: the Traders.
- 21:49Speaker 3: I would love to be on The Trader. You'd be
- 21:50Speaker 3: good at it. You wouldn't, you'd be a terrible trader,
- 21:53Speaker 3: but you might be good. It might be good for
- 21:56Speaker 3: you to be a trader because no one would suspect you.
- 21:58Speaker 3: It's a good point to Loy. Also, you couldn't do it.
- 22:01Speaker 3: You got to be faithful.
- 22:02Speaker 2: Well, we play the game with my friends, yeah, Like
- 22:04Speaker 2: we play like around like a dinner table. Will play
- 22:07Speaker 2: the games, and I always feel like I am never
- 22:12Speaker 2: believe yeah, which I think could be a problem the game,
- 22:15Speaker 2: Like I need to figure out how to communicate so
- 22:17Speaker 2: that people believe me. I must either be a really
- 22:20Speaker 2: bad liar or they always suspected them up to something
- 22:26Speaker 2: like sneaky. Yeah. But I love the show. I would
- 22:30Speaker 2: love to be on it. I think it's fantastic. We're seeing, like,
- 22:34Speaker 2: especially last two seasons, people coming off as traders get
- 22:37Speaker 2: like huge bumps. Yeah, well not me, but do you
- 22:39Speaker 2: feel it?
- 22:40Speaker 3: I mean I was gonna say even well, like for
- 22:41Speaker 3: my season, Dylan Efron definitely got like a huge yeah,
- 22:46Speaker 3: you know, he became an overnight star where there was
- 22:49Speaker 3: other people that were already kind of big names. Chrishelle
- 22:53Speaker 3: obviously in selling sunset's huge and you know, Boston Rod's
- 22:56Speaker 3: been doing this for a very very long Gabby on
- 22:58Speaker 3: your season, Gabby, I mean, yeah, Gabby's kind of been
- 23:00Speaker 3: iconic since she was the Bachelorette.
- 23:04Speaker 2: But I feel like Traders really like made her go
- 23:06Speaker 2: like this to like it just gave it.
- 23:09Speaker 3: You know, you you sit in the chair a lot,
- 23:12Speaker 3: which is why she was such a good Bacherette because
- 23:14Speaker 3: she was very funny in interview, right, And so when
- 23:16Speaker 3: you sit in the chair a lot in the in Traders,
- 23:18Speaker 3: you get to show off your personality. And it's different too,
- 23:22Speaker 3: because you know, in the Bacheorette, when you're when you're
- 23:25Speaker 3: doing an im or you know, an interview with the producer,
- 23:27Speaker 3: you're looking at a producer. You're not looking down the barrel.
- 23:30Speaker 3: And in Traders, there is no producer in there. There's
- 23:32Speaker 3: a there's like a speaker and someone's talking through the
- 23:36Speaker 3: speaker and you're talking straight to camera. And I think
- 23:40Speaker 3: that that has something to do with, like, you know,
- 23:44Speaker 3: having Gabby been like talking too straight to you. Yeah,
- 23:47Speaker 3: through the TV. I think it gravitated a lot of
- 23:51Speaker 3: people towards her, But the show's really fun. It's I mean, listen,
- 23:56Speaker 3: you know, you go to Scotland, you live in in
- 24:01Speaker 3: a beautiful castle for well for me for four days,
- 24:03Speaker 3: but you know you can be there for a month.
- 24:05Speaker 3: You can win a bunch of money. It's like fun challenges,
- 24:07Speaker 3: but they're not like crazy. It's not like Special Forces
- 24:09Speaker 3: where you're like hanging off a helicopters and stuff. Yeah,
- 24:12Speaker 3: and yeah, the show is like exploded. Like season two
- 24:15Speaker 3: was kind of big, and then pilot Pete was on
- 24:19Speaker 3: it and he was kind of like a big faithful
- 24:22Speaker 3: and then season three killed, and now season four is
- 24:26Speaker 3: doing really really well. But with so many like kind
- 24:29Speaker 3: of controversial characters. Right, You've got Michael Rappaport, who is
- 24:34Speaker 3: very polarizing. You've got Lisa Renter, who's you know, been
- 24:37Speaker 3: a housewife and an actor forever that's like very loud.
- 24:41Speaker 3: You got this this guy named Rob who was on
- 24:44Speaker 3: Love Island, who's just like the dreamiest guy in the
- 24:47Speaker 3: world and so unassuming and plays off the like I'm
- 24:50Speaker 3: just the dumb hot guy, but he's actually like a genius.
- 24:53Speaker 2: You know.
- 24:53Speaker 3: You've got you got Colton who's out there playing like
- 24:57Speaker 3: loose and fast with like attacking people and accusing people
- 25:01Speaker 3: of being traders and stuff. So it's this this season
- 25:05Speaker 3: has I feel like they've really caught their stride a
- 25:08Speaker 3: little bit. But it's also like with shows becoming popular,
- 25:13Speaker 3: like I feel like we felt this especially twenty sixteen,
- 25:16Speaker 3: twenty seventeen, like the height of the Bachelor World and
- 25:19Speaker 3: the show like it hit like like maximum exposure was
- 25:24Speaker 3: also maximum like pr issues, right, it was like a
- 25:32Speaker 3: lot of like TMZ stuff. Yeah, and the same thing
- 25:34Speaker 3: I think is happening this season. Like, you know, we
- 25:38Speaker 3: know Colton I did a show, if I did Paradise
- 25:40Speaker 3: with him. He's getting kind of like dragged on social
- 25:43Speaker 3: media and all this stuff, and I feel bad for
- 25:48Speaker 3: him in that respect, But I do think it's a
- 25:51Speaker 3: it's a causation of the show becoming so big, so
- 25:54Speaker 3: many people have an opinion, so many people have a voice, so.
- 25:57Speaker 2: Many I mean people are really passionate about it. And
- 26:00Speaker 2: I picked it up during your season and in fact
- 26:03Speaker 2: it's I know you joke about only being on for
- 26:07Speaker 2: two episodes, but we just did an event last week
- 26:10Speaker 2: in Orlando, and uh, people still shout out to you
- 26:14Speaker 2: like they I've heard multiple people say I loved you
- 26:17Speaker 2: on Traders. Yeah, like they still recognize you from Traders,
- 26:21Speaker 2: and it feels like it's not it's not mentioned as
- 26:23Speaker 2: much as Paradise, but it's still mentioned. Are you under
- 26:27Speaker 2: the kind of this belief? You're very savvy when it
- 26:30Speaker 2: comes to this world. This is obviously been a career
- 26:34Speaker 2: for you being in entertainment since you know high school.
- 26:37Speaker 2: Even Are you under the belief when it comes to
- 26:40Speaker 2: like the Coltons of the world that all press is
- 26:42Speaker 2: good press because he's not getting a lot of good
- 26:44Speaker 2: press right now. I mean, I think that's like would
- 26:47Speaker 2: be universally like ago or it's old press that's being
- 26:51Speaker 2: brought back up. Sure is it? Is he sitting there
- 26:55Speaker 2: or is his PR team or whoever is behind the
- 26:57Speaker 2: scenes going okay, this is still good people are talking
- 26:59Speaker 2: about him or more in today's world? Is this maybe
- 27:02Speaker 2: a negative?
- 27:03Speaker 3: I think when he looks back, it'll be a good thing.
- 27:07Speaker 3: I think that this probably needed if he wants to
- 27:09Speaker 3: be back in the public eye, right I think that
- 27:12Speaker 3: this probably needed to happen. He needed to probably have
- 27:15Speaker 3: to go through this because he was kind of out
- 27:17Speaker 3: of the public eye when all of the turmoil with
- 27:20Speaker 3: Cassie and all that stuff like went down, and so
- 27:23Speaker 3: it wasn't as as front facing as it is now
- 27:27Speaker 3: when he's on this giant show. But I think that
- 27:29Speaker 3: once people all people want to do is be angry
- 27:32Speaker 3: for a second and then they're like, Okay, I'm done,
- 27:34Speaker 3: you know, then it's over. And I feel like, for him,
- 27:36Speaker 3: if he wants to continue being a public personality, it's
- 27:40Speaker 3: probably good that he's having to kind of go through
- 27:42Speaker 3: these trials and he'll be able to come out clean
- 27:45Speaker 3: on the other end.
- 27:46Speaker 2: Okay, that's my thought. I don't know.
- 27:47Speaker 3: I'm sure he, you know, is very upset. I would
- 27:50Speaker 3: be too. I know that he's been saying that he
- 27:53Speaker 3: doesn't want to go to the reunion reunion, which I like, contractually,
- 27:59Speaker 3: I don't think he can do that. Like, yeah, I
- 28:01Speaker 3: hear that, and I'm like, what are you talking about.
- 28:03Speaker 3: It's part of the contract that you are supposed to
- 28:05Speaker 3: go to this thing, and.
- 28:06Speaker 2: They pay you to go. The headline is that he's
- 28:08Speaker 2: not going, right he's was he not invited or did
- 28:10Speaker 2: he say do you know if he's not going? I
- 28:13Speaker 2: don't know that obviously, I mean, is an interesting choice.
- 28:19Speaker 2: I think there's a few things where it's like you
- 28:21Speaker 2: need to you know, own this and confront this, or
- 28:26Speaker 2: maybe it is the whole Hey, this was a lot
- 28:28Speaker 2: I'm hiding that I'm done with the public eye. Maybe
- 28:30Speaker 2: that's kind of what is going on is I don't
- 28:32Speaker 2: want to be in the public eye anymore. I mean,
- 28:33Speaker 2: he had a show with Kaylie Bristow yea that I
- 28:36Speaker 2: don't even know if it ever came out.
- 28:38Speaker 3: It was like Virgin Island or something like that. Yeah,
- 28:41Speaker 3: it's funny, funny they filmed it at the exact resort
- 28:45Speaker 3: we filmed Paradise this last season.
- 28:47Speaker 2: That resort has a thing. Huh. Yeah, it's racking up
- 28:50Speaker 2: the TV yeah, TV dollars. Well, if people want to
- 28:54Speaker 2: listen to it. Are you doing like weekly episodes?
- 28:56Speaker 3: Ye, we're recapping every episode, so yeah, tune in. We
- 29:01Speaker 3: try to get them, you know, the show airs on
- 29:03Speaker 3: Thursday nights. We try to get them out on Friday.
- 29:06Speaker 3: But we've been doing like a two episode a week
- 29:09Speaker 3: thing where like we'll do a recap and then we'll
- 29:11Speaker 3: also have like someone from the show, either this season
- 29:14Speaker 3: or past seasons to come and talk and just share
- 29:16Speaker 3: their thoughts in mind about you know, the show in
- 29:20Speaker 3: general and what they're up to. And so if you're
- 29:22Speaker 3: a big fan of Traders, yeah, go listen to by
- 29:25Speaker 3: Order of the Faithfuls. You can listen to it anywhere
- 29:27Speaker 3: you get your podcasts. But I think the iHeart app
- 29:30Speaker 3: is the best one because they pay me to say that.
- 29:32Speaker 2: Yeah, that's fair. Final thing I wanted to talk to
- 29:46Speaker 2: about today, our buddy Chris Harrison recently announced I saw
- 29:50Speaker 2: this that he is going to be hosting a show
- 29:54Speaker 2: on a substantial or prominent I think was the word
- 29:57Speaker 2: prominent streaming platform. Yeah, getting a lot of press one
- 30:04Speaker 2: Chris is back. That's a big deal. Like, we've wanted
- 30:07Speaker 2: this for a long time. We want to see him
- 30:08Speaker 2: on our televisions doing something. The press is coming from
- 30:12Speaker 2: the language that the caption asked for. I think people
- 30:15Speaker 2: interested in a traditional marriage with traditional like marriage roles. Yeah,
- 30:20Speaker 2: that's where the press is coming from. I honestly I'm
- 30:26Speaker 2: under the understanding. Knowing Chris and his marriage, I think
- 30:30Speaker 2: it's pretty clear with if he would be creating and
- 30:32Speaker 2: hosting a show. This isn't some outrageous like request for
- 30:36Speaker 2: like a housewife and a guy that goes to work
- 30:39Speaker 2: every day and comes home and a cocktails made on
- 30:41Speaker 2: his table.
- 30:41Speaker 3: Yeah, you don't think they're like casting trad wife potential
- 30:46Speaker 3: trad wife.
- 30:48Speaker 2: They don't. Yeah, I really don't. I think it's a
- 30:53Speaker 2: I don't know. I mean, you again, you're used to
- 30:56Speaker 2: this world more than I am. That language had to
- 30:59Speaker 2: be like and specific maybe to create conversation.
- 31:04Speaker 3: Listen, uh, I mean like the I guess, like the
- 31:08Speaker 3: the analogy I can make is like, what's the difference
- 31:11Speaker 3: between you know, like the super Bowl halftime shows that
- 31:15Speaker 3: competing with Turning Point halftime thing and then like, okay,
- 31:18Speaker 3: you guys, all these these you know shows that are
- 31:22Speaker 3: loose and wild and you know, Love Island and you know,
- 31:25Speaker 3: X on the Beach and Boy Island and all this stuff,
- 31:29Speaker 3: and can we have a show where it's like going
- 31:32Speaker 3: back to more traditional values. I get it, and I
- 31:35Speaker 3: think there's an audience for that, and I think that
- 31:36Speaker 3: there probably has been a backlash of people being like
- 31:42Speaker 3: that's a little too much like watching That's not what
- 31:45Speaker 3: I think. But I can see people being like, I
- 31:46Speaker 3: can't watch Love Island. It's nine hours a week of
- 31:49Speaker 3: like they're all having sex. Well I felt that with
- 31:52Speaker 3: Perfect Match.
- 31:53Speaker 2: I mean, we watched it here and broke it down
- 31:55Speaker 2: and almost famous, and I remember watching it and even
- 31:58Speaker 2: texting our almost famous thread being like this is wild,
- 32:01Speaker 2: Like I could never sit down and watch this week
- 32:03Speaker 2: by week by week if this was what my brain
- 32:05Speaker 2: was consuming. It just it felt like too much to me.
- 32:09Speaker 2: I would honestly say, The Bachelor, maybe even today, is
- 32:13Speaker 2: more of a traditional, easy watch show than like most
- 32:18Speaker 2: of the other shows you just mentioned. Yeah, and maybe
- 32:20Speaker 2: that's kind of what we're bringing back, is this love
- 32:24Speaker 2: story based show where two people meet each other, they
- 32:27Speaker 2: fall in love and whatever format you know, they've created.
- 32:32Speaker 2: So the backlash is interesting. I wonder if they would
- 32:34Speaker 2: have chosen instead of traditional more like I say, conservative,
- 32:38Speaker 2: and that always feels more political than anything, but like
- 32:44Speaker 2: like they're there, traditional feels like a word that does
- 32:47Speaker 2: point people to think of like the nineteen fifties. Yeah,
- 32:51Speaker 2: and anti feminism. Yeah maybe, yeah, I can't imagine that
- 32:55Speaker 2: that's what the show.
- 32:56Speaker 3: Okay, I'm a couple of things, and it should be
- 32:59Speaker 3: known that Chris is a good friend of both of ours.
- 33:02Speaker 3: Oh yeah, and I think that the world will be
- 33:05Speaker 3: a will be better when Chris is back on our
- 33:08Speaker 3: TV screens. So like, just right off the bat, the
- 33:11Speaker 3: wording of the whole thing. Okay, whether they want, whether
- 33:15Speaker 3: that's what they want for this show or not, I
- 33:17Speaker 3: don't think it matters because the wording did the thing
- 33:19Speaker 3: that they wanted it to do, which has cause a
- 33:22Speaker 3: bunch of press about this thing, right, So who cares
- 33:25Speaker 3: if that's really what they're casting for.
- 33:27Speaker 2: It did what they wanted it to do.
- 33:29Speaker 3: It got everyone talking about Chris coming back to TV
- 33:31Speaker 3: doing a show. Yeah, And so for that I think
- 33:35Speaker 3: it was a win. Yeah, who cares and going back
- 33:39Speaker 3: to the Yeah, all publicity is good publicity, especially when
- 33:41Speaker 3: you're trying to get a show off the ground.
- 33:43Speaker 2: Yeah, people are talking about it. Chris Harrison is coming
- 33:45Speaker 2: back to our televisions on and this The platform hasn't
- 33:48Speaker 2: been announced yet. I don't know the partner to the
- 33:50Speaker 2: whole thing yet, but I can't imagine if it's a
- 33:54Speaker 2: prominent one, it's going to be one of the big
- 33:56Speaker 2: yeah networks. I could see a peacock and this is
- 34:00Speaker 2: a good choice, right. I cannot see ABC jumping back
- 34:03Speaker 2: on this with Hulu. I don't think there's any chance
- 34:07Speaker 2: there so that eliminates ABC. So I mean, I wouldn't
- 34:10Speaker 2: be shocked to see a Fox maybe like, yeah, something
- 34:14Speaker 2: like that. Pick this up. They don't really have a
- 34:16Speaker 2: dating show. I don't think so. It wo it would
- 34:19Speaker 2: make a lot of sense. But you're right. I think
- 34:22Speaker 2: you said it best. It's getting people talking about it.
- 34:24Speaker 2: We know and love Chris. I can't imagine this show
- 34:27Speaker 2: isn't going to be anything more than just a really
- 34:29Speaker 2: good love story in the making. I think that's why
- 34:32Speaker 2: he did The Bachelor, why he loved The Bachelor's I
- 34:35Speaker 2: do think outside of everything else, Chris Harrison loves being
- 34:39Speaker 2: a part of love stories. So he'll be back on
- 34:43Speaker 2: our televisions. Well's You've got a lot going on these days.
- 34:47Speaker 2: Sarah's on Broadway crushing it for her what third show?
- 34:53Speaker 3: This is her third show, Yeah, in as many years.
- 34:55Speaker 3: So she's doing a show called Just in Time, which
- 34:58Speaker 3: is the story about Bobby Darren. Bobby Darren is the
- 35:01Speaker 3: guy who's saying, splitch, splash, I was taken a bath
- 35:04Speaker 3: that kind of like iconic era early nineteen fifties, and
- 35:10Speaker 3: she plays Connie Francis, who was an iconic singer who
- 35:13Speaker 3: dated Bobby Darren. Boby Darren's played by Jonathan Groff, who
- 35:16Speaker 3: you probably know is like the he's the King in Hamilton,
- 35:19Speaker 3: and you know, he's in Frozen, and he did a
- 35:22Speaker 3: show called Mindhunter, which is phenomenal and they should bring
- 35:24Speaker 3: that back. Yeah, and he's just the most lovely person
- 35:28Speaker 3: in the world. And if my wife has to make
- 35:30Speaker 3: out with a man eight times a week, I'm glad
- 35:32Speaker 3: it's Jonathan Groff for a lot of reasons. I think
- 35:36Speaker 3: it works pretty well. Yeah, yeah, but no, it's a
- 35:38Speaker 3: great show. It's a tough ticket to get, but if
- 35:40Speaker 3: you go to New York, I highly suggest it. It's
- 35:43Speaker 3: in a Circle in the Square, which is a very fun,
- 35:45Speaker 3: intimate venue in New York, which is much different than
- 35:48Speaker 3: a lot of theaters in New York, where it's a
- 35:51Speaker 3: big circle and you are surrounding the cast and there's
- 35:54Speaker 3: even seats where you can sit like you know, kind
- 35:56Speaker 3: of looks like the Boca, right, like the little tiny
- 35:59Speaker 3: table tops with like drinks and stuff, and you can
- 36:01Speaker 3: sit there and you're a part of the show, which
- 36:03Speaker 3: is very cool. It's very immersive. So yeah, you should
- 36:06Speaker 3: go see that Vanity In.
