- 0:02Speaker 1: Two Teas in a Pod with Teddy Mellencamp and Camera Jedge. Hi, guys,
- 0:11Speaker 1: welcome to Two Teas in a Pod. I am Tamera Judge.
- 0:15Speaker 1: I am flying so low today because the second tea
- 0:19Speaker 1: to our twats is filming Celebrity Big Brother. We're super
- 0:22Speaker 1: excited about that. But don't worry, We're gonna have some
- 0:25Speaker 1: amazing U guest hosts in the next few weeks. I'm
- 0:28Speaker 1: excited to introduce my guest today, a real housewife of
- 0:32Speaker 1: Miami who just made it official. Alexia. Alexia, thank you
- 0:39Speaker 1: so much. You the first Miami housewife we've had on
- 0:42Speaker 1: two Teas, and you were the one we wanted first.
- 0:45Speaker 1: I apologize because Teddy could not be here today and
- 0:49Speaker 1: she's so bummed. But I don't know if you've heard,
- 0:51Speaker 1: but she's doing Celebrity Big Brother. Yes, I'm so I'm
- 0:55Speaker 1: so proud of her. I'm so happy for I don't
- 0:57Speaker 1: know if I'm not happy, I'll tell you want with
- 0:59Speaker 1: her am or not. But wow, that's like a big deal.
- 1:01Speaker 1: I don't know that I could do it. What about you?
- 1:03Speaker 1: I was just gonna ask you the same thing. Do
- 1:04Speaker 1: you think you could do it? For one thing? I
- 1:06Speaker 1: think would be really difficult because if you go the
- 1:07Speaker 1: full way, you could be away from your family for
- 1:09Speaker 1: like thirty days with no phone, no interaction, nothing. Yes,
- 1:12Speaker 1: I I you know, I'm mentally very strong, but I
- 1:15Speaker 1: don't think that I could do it. And I don't
- 1:16Speaker 1: think my my family can be without me for thirty days.
- 1:20Speaker 1: That's right, like not even thirty minutes pretty much. Yeah,
- 1:22Speaker 1: say on opposite. I'm physically strong. I don't know if
- 1:24Speaker 1: I'm just so mentally strong up there. Yes, but welcome back.
- 1:28Speaker 1: We are so excited. Your season so far is so good.
- 1:33Speaker 1: I know you just filmed the reunion and you probably
- 1:35Speaker 1: can't tell us too much about that, but I want
- 1:37Speaker 1: to take it back to the very beginning, like ten
- 1:39Speaker 1: years ago when you first began. How did you get casted? Okay,
- 1:43Speaker 1: so I got casted. I was actually the last one
- 1:46Speaker 1: to get casted because I really didn't want to be
- 1:48Speaker 1: part of the show. I need know much about the show.
- 1:51Speaker 1: All I knew was really New Jersey and like Theresa
- 1:54Speaker 1: flipping the table. That's like as much Housewife watched. But
- 1:58Speaker 1: what I found really funny wasn't in Miami. Everybody that
- 2:00Speaker 1: was watching would say like, oh my God, if the
- 2:02Speaker 1: show ever comes to Miami, you definitely need to be
- 2:05Speaker 1: on it, you know, like my friends that really knew me.
- 2:07Speaker 1: And I was like, I don't see that happening. But
- 2:10Speaker 1: so fast forward a few years later, you know, they
- 2:12Speaker 1: started casting from Miami. Um. At the time, my son
- 2:15Speaker 1: was also casting for another like reality show with kids,
- 2:19Speaker 1: so um, I was dropping him off and apparently was
- 2:22Speaker 1: like the same casting director. So they saw me and
- 2:25Speaker 1: they're like, oh my god, we're also casting from Miami.
- 2:27Speaker 1: Like do you think your mom would be interested? And
- 2:29Speaker 1: he's like, no, my mom will be interested. And fast forward.
- 2:33Speaker 1: His show never happened. The casting directors got to know
- 2:36Speaker 1: me because I would drop him off and take him
- 2:38Speaker 1: in the whole thing, and they were begging me to
- 2:40Speaker 1: try out, and um, last minute, I said, you know what,
- 2:44Speaker 1: a friend of mine called me actually, and she was
- 2:47Speaker 1: the one that was really interested. She was a doctor,
- 2:49Speaker 1: a dentist and it's not Karen Um somebody else. And UM,
- 2:53Speaker 1: She's like, oh my god, please you have too like
- 2:55Speaker 1: a company made or casting. And I said, if you're
- 2:57Speaker 1: going to the Miami Housewife, think like they really want
- 2:59Speaker 1: me to cast, So I don't think you want me
- 3:01Speaker 1: there because I maybe taking your position, and you know,
- 3:05Speaker 1: I ended up going with her. I sat down. I
- 3:07Speaker 1: remember her telling me like, don't talk with your hands,
- 3:10Speaker 1: and you know, like you know, being you know, dress conservative,
- 3:13Speaker 1: you know. Yeah right, I'm like, okay, you apparently have
- 3:15Speaker 1: now watched the show, right right. So she sat there.
- 3:19Speaker 1: So I went in and everybody's like Peter's mom, Peter's mom,
- 3:22Speaker 1: and I'm like, yeah, I'm here, and I'm like, what,
- 3:24Speaker 1: my husband doesn't know that I'm doing this my family
- 3:26Speaker 1: if nobody knew, it was just like me and her.
- 3:29Speaker 1: So basically I sat down, I started talking with my hands.
- 3:32Speaker 1: I said all the right things like my husband doesn't
- 3:35Speaker 1: know I'm here, um, and all the crazy stuff that
- 3:37Speaker 1: comes out of my mouth. And ten minutes later after
- 3:40Speaker 1: my casting, I had a phone call saying like, we
- 3:42Speaker 1: want to go to your house and when I made
- 3:44Speaker 1: your family and the rest was history. So they came
- 3:47Speaker 1: up with the next day. You know, my husband at
- 3:49Speaker 1: that time never really supported it, that's the truth. Um,
- 3:51Speaker 1: he never really wanted me to do the show. Um,
- 3:54Speaker 1: so I pretty much like signed the agreement even like
- 3:57Speaker 1: without his blessing. So yeah, but I did it, and
- 4:00Speaker 1: eight years later, well ten years later, I'm here. I
- 4:03Speaker 1: know we have some so many similarities and our life
- 4:07Speaker 1: and I really relate to your storyline, which is um
- 4:11Speaker 1: with your you know, blending of the family. I had
- 4:13Speaker 1: the same situation, and I know that a lot of
- 4:15Speaker 1: people that have been divorced and getting remarried with kids,
- 4:18Speaker 1: you know, it's difficult. And I that that meeting that
- 4:22Speaker 1: they'll sit down that you had with Todd and Peter
- 4:25Speaker 1: and Frankie. I was almost crying because it took me
- 4:28Speaker 1: back to when I was married to Simon and my
- 4:31Speaker 1: oldest son Ryan, who was thirteen when we end up
- 4:33Speaker 1: getting married, just did not click, and it would. It
- 4:36Speaker 1: puts you in such a horrible sad spot that you're
- 4:39Speaker 1: walking on eggshell So I I totally got that. Yeah,
- 4:43Speaker 1: you know, I feel like like you. I feel like
- 4:45Speaker 1: a lot of women you know, in the world, you know,
- 4:47Speaker 1: on our streaming so they're watching us all over the world.
- 4:50Speaker 1: So I feel like a lot of women are in
- 4:51Speaker 1: that position, you know, and you know, we as a women,
- 4:54Speaker 1: you know, you're in the middle between two people that
- 4:57Speaker 1: you adore and are your life, and you're just like,
- 5:00Speaker 1: you know, like very sad because you want to fix it,
- 5:03Speaker 1: and really the only people that can fix it is them,
- 5:06Speaker 1: you know. So you know they obviously have you know,
- 5:09Speaker 1: and we got married and you know, but but it's tough,
- 5:11Speaker 1: you know, especially I feel like when they were younger,
- 5:14Speaker 1: I think it's easier. I mean I've always said that,
- 5:16Speaker 1: you know, because again, you know, like my second husband,
- 5:19Speaker 1: you know, he had older children. I had younger children,
- 5:22Speaker 1: and it was easier, you know, to blench. And you know,
- 5:24Speaker 1: our kids get along great, Like Todd has two beautiful girls.
- 5:27Speaker 1: I don't mean you saw them on the show or not,
- 5:29Speaker 1: which I participated very little, but you know, my kids
- 5:32Speaker 1: love her. We all, you know, Frankie lives here, the
- 5:34Speaker 1: girls live here, and you know, but you know, these
- 5:36Speaker 1: shows are like that. You know, you obviously only saw that,
- 5:40Speaker 1: you know, that side of our story. You know, we
- 5:42Speaker 1: also have a lot of happy moments, and I want
- 5:45Speaker 1: they don't want to show that part, right, so we
- 5:47Speaker 1: you know, I just want you to keep that in mind. Obviously,
- 5:49Speaker 1: you know, we obviously got through that. It was really
- 5:52Speaker 1: difficult obviously, you know, to see you know, once it
- 5:54Speaker 1: plays back, you know, when you're in the moment of it.
- 5:57Speaker 1: Obviously it was horrendous. It was terrible. But then when
- 6:00Speaker 1: you see it as well, you know, we cried seeing
- 6:02Speaker 1: it as a family together. It was really hard to watch.
- 6:05Speaker 1: But you know the good thing is that we noticed
- 6:08Speaker 1: what we needed to do and like god, we we
- 6:11Speaker 1: acted on. You know, we're like, okay, like this is
- 6:13Speaker 1: really like myself. We need to fix this, you know.
- 6:15Speaker 1: And you know, sometimes you have to get really uncomfortable
- 6:18Speaker 1: in order to see results, right, But I think you
- 6:20Speaker 1: were very brave to even put that out there. And
- 6:22Speaker 1: the people other families that are going through it, we'll
- 6:24Speaker 1: totally understand. Now, your son Peter reminds me of my
- 6:27Speaker 1: son Ryan. A lot have gone through the same thing,
- 6:30Speaker 1: same issues. We don't need to get into it, but um,
- 6:32Speaker 1: it's very sweet kids. But you know, I was guilty
- 6:35Speaker 1: of enabling him because I had him when I was
- 6:38Speaker 1: barely eighteen. I was a single mom, I had no money.
- 6:41Speaker 1: I had to give him to his dad for a
- 6:42Speaker 1: little bit because I had couldn't support him, and so
- 6:44Speaker 1: that affected him long term, and I always carried that guilt,
- 6:48Speaker 1: you know, And then I got well, I feel like
- 6:49Speaker 1: as a mother, term right, even if you do everything
- 6:51Speaker 1: perfect and you're still married to the same man. And
- 6:54Speaker 1: you know, you're like the home room mom and you
- 6:56Speaker 1: do everything perfect. I think as a mom, if things
- 6:59Speaker 1: don't turn how we would like them to turn out,
- 7:02Speaker 1: or or we go through like different stages, we always
- 7:04Speaker 1: want to blame ourselves. And you know, we live with
- 7:06Speaker 1: this guilt. You know, it's like a women's thing. It's
- 7:08Speaker 1: that we live with guilt. And I think even like
- 7:11Speaker 1: me like being Latin, I feel like Latin women even
- 7:15Speaker 1: more like I don't even know. It's it's just like crazy,
- 7:17Speaker 1: it's like a continuous boot and you know we have
- 7:20Speaker 1: to work on that ourselves because you know what we
- 7:22Speaker 1: did the best that we could. And you know, kids
- 7:24Speaker 1: don't come with a handbook. I mean, preventing is really hard.
- 7:26Speaker 1: And then there's I wouldn't feel like yeah, I mean,
- 7:30Speaker 1: genetics are play like a really big role. So there's
- 7:32Speaker 1: so many, like other factors before people come in and judge,
- 7:36Speaker 1: and you know, and they're saying, you know, I don't
- 7:38Speaker 1: I just don't like the word enabler. You know, I
- 7:40Speaker 1: think I get a little bit defensive, you know when
- 7:42Speaker 1: they say I'm an enabler, because for me, an enabler
- 7:44Speaker 1: is somebody that like encourages like negative and bad behavior.
- 7:47Speaker 1: I agree, Yeah, so I'm not encouraging it for real
- 7:51Speaker 1: because I know what's bad. I know what's you know,
- 7:53Speaker 1: the difference between good and bad. But so I don't
- 7:57Speaker 1: like that term. But I do recognize that. It's not
- 8:01Speaker 1: that I enable it. It's just that I'm compassionate. I'm empathetic.
- 8:05Speaker 1: I'm his mother. It's like this unconditional love then no
- 8:08Speaker 1: matter what they do, and if we're not there for them,
- 8:11Speaker 1: who else is going to be for them? Like we
- 8:12Speaker 1: get today? You know, it's like just not okay with that.
- 8:16Speaker 1: And you went through so much with the accident with Frankie.
- 8:19Speaker 1: How is Frankie? He? I just love him to death
- 8:22Speaker 1: and the way that if he would he here, he
- 8:25Speaker 1: would be like talking to you, Oh, I want to
- 8:27Speaker 1: talk to beautiful. I want to hang out with him.
- 8:29Speaker 1: He is so sweet, so kind and always so supportive
- 8:32Speaker 1: of you. And when you talk about things you want
- 8:35Speaker 1: to talk about the way he's like, no, mom, like
- 8:38Speaker 1: I die every single time. So how's he doing? He's
- 8:42Speaker 1: doing good. I mean he lives here with us and
- 8:44Speaker 1: does a matter of fact, now after like that scene
- 8:46Speaker 1: that you guys saw, but you know, it was always like,
- 8:48Speaker 1: you know, it's always like a my goal list, my
- 8:50Speaker 1: my goal list, it's always my kids the priority. I'm like,
- 8:53Speaker 1: got the last, my oldest. So by the time I
- 8:56Speaker 1: get to me, I'm like, oh my god, I'm tired,
- 8:58Speaker 1: like you know, how to work on everybody else? Right, So, um,
- 9:02Speaker 1: after that, I reached out, Well, I didn't reach out.
- 9:04Speaker 1: I was always always trying to find somebody to like
- 9:07Speaker 1: shadow him, you know, to spend more like more like
- 9:10Speaker 1: a therapeutic you know, like physically, mentally education why everything.
- 9:15Speaker 1: So um, I found this young man, this young guy
- 9:19Speaker 1: that actually does this. This is what he's studied. He's
- 9:21Speaker 1: like a behavioral therapist. So he's like shadowing him and
- 9:24Speaker 1: like you know right now, he's with him every day
- 9:26Speaker 1: from four to six hours. So you know he's doing
- 9:29Speaker 1: that a lot because you know, I'm very busy. And
- 9:31Speaker 1: then again there was the guilt. I feel guilty like,
- 9:33Speaker 1: oh my god, I have him here with me when
- 9:34Speaker 1: he should do something else. So you know, yeah, I
- 9:39Speaker 1: mean that's true too. And you know, thank God to
- 9:41Speaker 1: like falling in love with Todd and having it. You know,
- 9:44Speaker 1: he's helped me realize that, you know, I need time
- 9:46Speaker 1: for myself too, and that you know, I and you
- 9:49Speaker 1: know your children you know, find their way, you know,
- 9:52Speaker 1: I mean eventually, you know they do. You know it's
- 9:55Speaker 1: up to us to be here obviously and support them
- 9:57Speaker 1: and you guide them. But you know, at the of
- 10:00Speaker 1: the day, you know, we need to teach them to
- 10:02Speaker 1: go and be happy. You know, Frankie's case is a
- 10:04Speaker 1: little different. Obviously, he'll always be here with me, but um,
- 10:09Speaker 1: you know, I'm trying to make him as independent as
- 10:11Speaker 1: he can and as and as happy as as he can.
- 10:14Speaker 1: And he's a happy kid. So we're blessed with that
- 10:16Speaker 1: because you know, a lot of brain injuries, um, they're
- 10:19Speaker 1: they're they're angry, they're frustrated. You know, they can't express themselves.
- 10:24Speaker 1: So you know, with Frankie, it was a total blessing
- 10:26Speaker 1: because he's he's an angel. He's always happy, and he's
- 10:29Speaker 1: always happy. Yeah, and the for real like a time
- 10:32Speaker 1: and you're not, he looks at you, he can kind
- 10:35Speaker 1: of like feel it and he'll tell you, weren't you happy?
- 10:38Speaker 1: Like look at me, I'm alive, So like what are
- 10:42Speaker 1: you complaining about? You know what I mean? Look at
- 10:44Speaker 1: me and I'm super happy, right do you really have
- 10:55Speaker 1: gone through so much and people just just love you
- 10:58Speaker 1: for your strength and and you had to reschedule your
- 11:02Speaker 1: wedding because I did, your mother passed away and I'm
- 11:06Speaker 1: so sorry. I'm like literally him back the tears right now,
- 11:09Speaker 1: but I'm so sorry. Yeah, it was really the fird
- 11:13Speaker 1: time in my life besides everything that was going on. Um,
- 11:17Speaker 1: and I got COVID and um right after a few
- 11:20Speaker 1: weeks later. You know, my mother got COVID and you know,
- 11:23Speaker 1: she she didn't make it and she passed away on
- 11:25Speaker 1: my wedding day. So that was like, but you went
- 11:29Speaker 1: on to get married a few months later, right, we
- 11:32Speaker 1: did say was trying to get married? Thank you? Um,
- 11:36Speaker 1: Like I said, I mean, it's always like I have to.
- 11:38Speaker 1: I was like, get know if you feel this way,
- 11:40Speaker 1: but I always have to fight so much for like
- 11:42Speaker 1: happiness and like to be in a good place. Yeah, right,
- 11:45Speaker 1: you have to. Yeah, I'm afraid to even be so
- 11:50Speaker 1: happy because I'm like, oh my god, Okay, this is
- 11:52Speaker 1: not supposed to happen to me, like and if it does.
- 11:54Speaker 1: That's what I said to a therapist once I go
- 11:56Speaker 1: I'm afraid to be happy about things because I feel
- 11:58Speaker 1: like it's going to be ripped out from underneath me
- 12:00Speaker 1: any minute now. And then also I tend to not
- 12:02Speaker 1: try to get attached to anything because I just feel
- 12:05Speaker 1: like it's going to be gone. So it's you know,
- 12:08Speaker 1: I feel the same thing like you. So because of that,
- 12:11Speaker 1: and you know, and and it's a it's a hard
- 12:13Speaker 1: way to live like that. It's not a good way
- 12:15Speaker 1: to live because it takes away from the moment, you know, happiness,
- 12:18Speaker 1: Like I'm short right that we don't want to feel that.
- 12:21Speaker 1: So I'm working a lot on that on my own.
- 12:24Speaker 1: I do need a therapist as well, probably, but you know,
- 12:26Speaker 1: it's something again that you have to do on your own.
- 12:28Speaker 1: I'm like, okay, like just black that out and just
- 12:30Speaker 1: try to be But then things like this happened, and
- 12:32Speaker 1: you're like, god, right, But right after my mom passed away,
- 12:36Speaker 1: Todd's father had a stroke. A lot of people don't
- 12:38Speaker 1: know that because you know, it's very private and we
- 12:41Speaker 1: weren't filming obviously. Jeez. Yes, can you imagine after tam
- 12:46Speaker 1: Ron he had a stroke and he didn't make it,
- 12:49Speaker 1: but we lost his father. I adored Todd's father. He
- 12:52Speaker 1: was you know, they have a lot of similarities. It
- 12:54Speaker 1: was an amazing man and and and so nothing. So
- 12:58Speaker 1: this was like what our years been like. So we
- 13:00Speaker 1: really wanted to make it a point to have like
- 13:02Speaker 1: a happy moment before the year was over and you know,
- 13:05Speaker 1: to finally you know, get married. That that's what we
- 13:08Speaker 1: always wanted. This is what we've been trying to do
- 13:10Speaker 1: since two thousand nineteen and um, so we finally had
- 13:13Speaker 1: that moment December sixteen, we eloped. You know, we told
- 13:16Speaker 1: the family before, but you know, we kind of be
- 13:18Speaker 1: looped at our own. We said we want no kids,
- 13:20Speaker 1: we want no family, no friends. Marison was trying to
- 13:22Speaker 1: speak in and come and it's like, no, sorry, so
- 13:25Speaker 1: you didn't film it and wasn't We're not going to
- 13:27Speaker 1: see it on the show. Uh you might. I mean
- 13:30Speaker 1: I feel like you guys filmed it yourself and you
- 13:32Speaker 1: can give them up. Yeah, and we probably you know,
- 13:34Speaker 1: you're probably like I feel like the viewers need to
- 13:37Speaker 1: see that. If the viewers are rooting for us, I
- 13:40Speaker 1: need to see it. Yes, it doesn't take it the footage. Yeah, no,
- 13:46Speaker 1: I I agree. You know what I mean. It's like,
- 13:48Speaker 1: you know, people see this and you know it's been
- 13:49Speaker 1: such a top two years, not only for myself. I'm
- 13:52Speaker 1: not complaining like I'm grateful honestly, because you know what,
- 13:55Speaker 1: I accept things. I always think there's a reason for it,
- 13:59Speaker 1: you know. I try to learn the lesson. I move on.
- 14:02Speaker 1: I don't live on the past, because if not, I
- 14:03Speaker 1: can't move forward. I really need the present. I don't
- 14:06Speaker 1: even worry about to forget about it, so I don't
- 14:09Speaker 1: do that. So I feel like the viewers, you know,
- 14:12Speaker 1: are seeing all this and like they're really you know,
- 14:15Speaker 1: praying and rooting for us, and they want to see
- 14:17Speaker 1: a happy moment. And I also wanted that happy moment
- 14:19Speaker 1: to todday and night. That's what we always wanted. So,
- 14:22Speaker 1: you know, we we finally got married in same guards,
- 14:24Speaker 1: just him and I and and it's been great since then.
- 14:27Speaker 1: I feel like I needed to sign the paper, right, Yeah,
- 14:29Speaker 1: I feel married life is amazing. Yeah it is. I mean,
- 14:33Speaker 1: we've been living together for a long time now, and
- 14:35Speaker 1: we've been together for five years. But you know, I
- 14:38Speaker 1: think that psychologically, you know, it did something for us
- 14:42Speaker 1: as a couple, you know what I mean. I feel like,
- 14:44Speaker 1: you know, I don't know really how to put it
- 14:46Speaker 1: in words, but it makes you have to split assets now,
- 14:51Speaker 1: just kidding. You guys are beautiful, absolutely beautiful couple. I'd
- 14:59Speaker 1: have to say, so, Um, Gertie didn't plan your your wedding. Well,
- 15:03Speaker 1: Gertie's an amazing event planner and wedding planner. As I
- 15:07Speaker 1: was very you know, grateful to have her. So you'll
- 15:10Speaker 1: see a little bit of that. But you know, this
- 15:12Speaker 1: is remember this is a reality show, and you know
- 15:14Speaker 1: more than anybody like you know, you know what it
- 15:17Speaker 1: started and what it ended up. It was two different things.
- 15:19Speaker 1: You know. I was supposed to have the perfect fairytale wedding,
- 15:23Speaker 1: you know, and you know when we started doing this
- 15:25Speaker 1: whole thing and and then it turned into that that
- 15:28Speaker 1: was like my reality. You know? Did I like it? That?
- 15:30Speaker 1: I want to know? But this is what what you
- 15:32Speaker 1: see is like what you've got. That's what I'm trying
- 15:34Speaker 1: to say. So you know, moving forward, we do want
- 15:37Speaker 1: to celebrate, you know. Yeah, I just gonna ask my
- 15:39Speaker 1: next question, are you gonna have a party? Um? We are,
- 15:42Speaker 1: we are because we were supposed to get married in
- 15:44Speaker 1: this beautiful yacht um here in Miami and the Sea
- 15:47Speaker 1: Fair yacht, so we have that there obviously, but we
- 15:51Speaker 1: were waiting you know, for like to come back for
- 15:53Speaker 1: the year to start, and then you need to pick
- 15:55Speaker 1: like a good day. We have to have all our
- 15:56Speaker 1: friends and family and just make it a big party.
- 15:59Speaker 1: I mean, you know, this is my third marriage. It's
- 16:01Speaker 1: taught second marriage. You know, we're in a different stage
- 16:03Speaker 1: in our life. You know, it's not really about the
- 16:06Speaker 1: you know, the nonsense of like the first time wedding.
- 16:08Speaker 1: You know that you want everything to be perfect and
- 16:10Speaker 1: you want all that. For me, it's just like I
- 16:12Speaker 1: want my friends to be there, and you're invited, Yeah,
- 16:15Speaker 1: I want to go. I want to go. And this
- 16:17Speaker 1: is this is my third wedding and my husband's second
- 16:19Speaker 1: wedding as well. So and I'm telling you a third
- 16:21Speaker 1: time's a charm. It's it's just an amazing thing, right.
- 16:24Speaker 1: I think it's like a different time in our lives, right,
- 16:26Speaker 1: Like as women, we really know what we want, what
- 16:28Speaker 1: didn't work before, we're trying, you know, we fixed it
- 16:31Speaker 1: or we're like sometimes it takes this girls a while
- 16:33Speaker 1: to figure out what the hell we want. I agree.
- 16:36Speaker 1: And also so for real, I really think that you know,
- 16:39Speaker 1: maybe we would have met at a different time in
- 16:41Speaker 1: our life. It wouldn't have worked out, but now this
- 16:43Speaker 1: is like, you know, it's like we met each other's match.
- 16:46Speaker 1: It's kind of like a mismatch. He's my match, like
- 16:48Speaker 1: we belong together, and you know it will be like
- 16:50Speaker 1: I mean, I will I will say you guys would
- 16:52Speaker 1: have made beautiful babies that I know that I'm gonna miss. Yeah,
- 16:56Speaker 1: that will always say like, oh, our kids would have
- 16:58Speaker 1: been this and that, But no, you and I are
- 17:01Speaker 1: exactly the same age. Yes, yeah, so yep, fifty four. Yes,
- 17:06Speaker 1: oh my god, you look amazing, so do you. We're
- 17:09Speaker 1: changing things, alexey, I'm making fifty the new thirty five
- 17:16Speaker 1: with our wisdom right there and our blonde hair. Yes, yeah,
- 17:21Speaker 1: it's all the blonde hair. You just have to haven't
- 17:23Speaker 1: you noticed that all the women when they turn like
- 17:25Speaker 1: a certain age, they're all blonde people blonde all our lives.
- 17:28Speaker 1: It's easier to hind the grade. Um, would you guys
- 17:32Speaker 1: start filming again? Do you know they haven't told us
- 17:35Speaker 1: because you know, they're very quiet about that about and
- 17:38Speaker 1: then she sees, you know, if there's even a new season.
- 17:40Speaker 1: We don't know that. I mean, come on, yeah, I
- 17:44Speaker 1: mean we're hoping that it will be because it's been
- 17:46Speaker 1: pretty amazing, so I'm sure you'll start soon. So out
- 17:49Speaker 1: of all the ladies on the show, um, who do
- 17:51Speaker 1: you get along the best with? And I'd have to
- 17:53Speaker 1: tell you we need to talk about Nicole because I
- 17:56Speaker 1: really like her, and I don't like what's happening right now.
- 17:59Speaker 1: I know, I know, I saw that you liked her
- 18:00Speaker 1: by the way, you know, and I liked her too.
- 18:03Speaker 1: I mean you liked her, liked her. You don't even
- 18:06Speaker 1: like her anymore? No, no, I said, no, I do.
- 18:09Speaker 1: I continue to like her because her you know, you
- 18:12Speaker 1: know what this is what happened to me with Nicole,
- 18:14Speaker 1: Like I kind of like brought her into the group
- 18:16Speaker 1: and we had like you know, lunches issues and my birthday.
- 18:19Speaker 1: We we even went out, like you know, with her
- 18:21Speaker 1: with her husband and with my well, with her and
- 18:24Speaker 1: fiance now because they're engaged, you know, we've all gone
- 18:27Speaker 1: out as couples. Everything was great. But and you could
- 18:30Speaker 1: probably ug this because you've been part of the show.
- 18:33Speaker 1: Then when she showed up to film, it was like
- 18:35Speaker 1: a different person. And I was like, okay, like I
- 18:39Speaker 1: had one of those. I had one of those. So yeah,
- 18:42Speaker 1: so that's frustrating. It is frustrating. And it's not that
- 18:46Speaker 1: I wanted her to be like my best friend, my
- 18:48Speaker 1: new best friend, because I'm not looking for any more friends.
- 18:51Speaker 1: But I just thought that it was really like sneaky
- 18:53Speaker 1: of her. I just think she's like a sneaky person,
- 18:55Speaker 1: and she did it like in a way that I
- 18:57Speaker 1: didn't like, you know, And I always thought that I
- 18:59Speaker 1: was I have because I like her, like who she is,
- 19:02Speaker 1: I like what she represents. I mean, she would totally
- 19:04Speaker 1: be my friend all day long, and but I started
- 19:08Speaker 1: seeing things of her that I didn't like. And you know,
- 19:11Speaker 1: unfortunately we never got to really have a conversation like
- 19:14Speaker 1: on camera. So you know, sometimes when you don't clear things,
- 19:18Speaker 1: you know, it just becomes worse and worse. And I
- 19:21Speaker 1: think that that's just like what happened. Are we going
- 19:23Speaker 1: to see some of her sneakiness coming up. There's just
- 19:27Speaker 1: a lot of talk. I mean, it's just like I
- 19:30Speaker 1: knew her differently, you know what I mean. I feel
- 19:32Speaker 1: like some women when you know them differently, And Marathon
- 19:36Speaker 1: Marison is going full forth. She's like you you're sneaky,
- 19:39Speaker 1: You're this so well. The thing is that you know
- 19:42Speaker 1: my m s smalltel just like I'm sure like everybody
- 19:45Speaker 1: kind knows each other when you're like in a certain group.
- 19:48Speaker 1: So um, So Marison knew a lot of things about her,
- 19:51Speaker 1: and I always suck up for her, by the way,
- 19:53Speaker 1: like between that when we were filming like before that,
- 19:56Speaker 1: so I was like, you know what, Marison, I don't
- 19:58Speaker 1: care what you say about her, Like I like, oh,
- 20:00Speaker 1: you're so naive, You're gonna see her true colors and
- 20:02Speaker 1: all that. And I was like, Okay, I don't really
- 20:04Speaker 1: care about that, but I know her this way. But
- 20:07Speaker 1: then in the Hampton's she supposedly attacked me. I mean,
- 20:10Speaker 1: I was so tired, I was so like going through
- 20:12Speaker 1: so many things that I don't really care about the room.
- 20:15Speaker 1: I don't really care about anything. I just wanted to
- 20:16Speaker 1: like sort things out and put my bags down. And
- 20:20Speaker 1: for whatever reason, she decided to like attack me, saying
- 20:23Speaker 1: that you know, I was being you know, aggressive, and
- 20:26Speaker 1: I was being loud, and I didn't think you were
- 20:28Speaker 1: being aggressive at all. No, I was, for the record,
- 20:32Speaker 1: you were. I was like, where did this come from?
- 20:34Speaker 1: So the Marissos like, you see, that's exactly what I'm
- 20:37Speaker 1: telling you. You think she's your friend? And look at
- 20:38Speaker 1: her attacking you. I was like, you know what, I honestly,
- 20:40Speaker 1: I just wanted to I really wanted to cry because
- 20:43Speaker 1: it was so you did cry. I did you did?
- 20:47Speaker 1: You see? Because I kin'd even because I was like,
- 20:51Speaker 1: you know, how hard it took me to be here,
- 20:53Speaker 1: like to plan for me to go away with the
- 20:55Speaker 1: girls for a couple of days. I'm leaving my family, franking,
- 20:59Speaker 1: my husband, my business that's so our year, like you know,
- 21:03Speaker 1: like to find help. So like I do all this stuff.
- 21:06Speaker 1: I just want to have a fun time with the
- 21:07Speaker 1: girls and get drunk and be silly. And then they're
- 21:11Speaker 1: fighting about a room or like the other one. Nicole,
- 21:14Speaker 1: like you know, like just decides to attack me because
- 21:16Speaker 1: she thinks I'm being aggressive, which again I think, you know,
- 21:19Speaker 1: I think like some of the new girls, like they
- 21:21Speaker 1: want to have their moment. And you know that because
- 21:24Speaker 1: my sitting with Nicole. Yeah, I was sitting with Nicole
- 21:27Speaker 1: telling her like, you know, we're talking about her dad,
- 21:30Speaker 1: and I was telling her, listen, you know, like you
- 21:33Speaker 1: know our parents are older now, you know you have
- 21:35Speaker 1: to forget the things they did, just you know, think
- 21:37Speaker 1: about the good positive things. I think that you do
- 21:39Speaker 1: need to like fix things with your dad. I was
- 21:41Speaker 1: giving her great advice, you know, as a friend, as
- 21:44Speaker 1: a woman, as a daughter, as somebody that's gone through that,
- 21:47Speaker 1: and then we land there and she attacked me like that.
- 21:50Speaker 1: So Marisa was like, you're an idiot, and I was like, well,
- 21:52Speaker 1: you know that's how I am. You know, I'll have
- 21:54Speaker 1: my moment with her, but we never kind of did.
- 21:57Speaker 1: So it's kind of that's why I still I'm still
- 21:58Speaker 1: not well. That's what makes the show so good is
- 22:02Speaker 1: that you guys have conflict, you have issues, and it's
- 22:05Speaker 1: all played out on TV. I like every single one
- 22:08Speaker 1: of you girls. I think you're all amazing. I love
- 22:10Speaker 1: the houses. I talk about your garage up. I'm like,
- 22:15Speaker 1: oh my, I'm so your car literally comes into your
- 22:21Speaker 1: living room. Yes it does, it's right there. I don't
- 22:23Speaker 1: know if you see them. I do. That is I've
- 22:27Speaker 1: never seen anything like that ever, and I thought I've
- 22:29Speaker 1: seen at all, not even in the de Breau Chateau.
- 22:33Speaker 1: Now the same developers making a second building. It's just amazing. Um,
- 22:47Speaker 1: I have a couple I know you've got to go,
- 22:49Speaker 1: but I have a couple of fan questions that they
- 22:52Speaker 1: how do you stay so positive with everything you've gone through?
- 22:55Speaker 1: You're so inspirational? Thank you? Um. So, you know, I
- 23:00Speaker 1: think it's something that I've always had, even like as
- 23:02Speaker 1: a little girl. You know that I you know, whatever
- 23:05Speaker 1: I was going through, you know, as as a younger girl.
- 23:08Speaker 1: You know, I always create. You know, I always like
- 23:11Speaker 1: wrote things down to the journal and and I always
- 23:16Speaker 1: found like my own inner peace. Like I it's like
- 23:19Speaker 1: the strength and this piece that I have and that
- 23:22Speaker 1: I'm grateful. I don't know how I have it. I
- 23:24Speaker 1: don't want to say, you know, I have a lot
- 23:25Speaker 1: of misfortune, but I feel like that's been one of
- 23:28Speaker 1: my fortunes, you know what. I need to have this
- 23:29Speaker 1: ability for me, for me to be able to handle
- 23:33Speaker 1: all these things and still be positive, have a smile,
- 23:37Speaker 1: be hopeful, be happy. So I I, like I said,
- 23:40Speaker 1: it's just something in it in me. Now, are you
- 23:44Speaker 1: happy that you reached out to herman's lover? And are
- 23:48Speaker 1: you at peace with that? And did you have any idea? Okay,
- 23:53Speaker 1: well those are three questions you could just blend it
- 23:56Speaker 1: all in because I feel like they're right. Yeah, so
- 24:00Speaker 1: answer what you want. I did not have any idea
- 24:03Speaker 1: of his lover. I found out about his lover um
- 24:07Speaker 1: after he passed away, because you know, like after you
- 24:11Speaker 1: passed away, after you no longer here, you know, people
- 24:14Speaker 1: want to talk. I feel like while he was alive,
- 24:16Speaker 1: a lot of people knew about it, and there were rumors. Um.
- 24:19Speaker 1: But you know, he was such a wonderful man and
- 24:22Speaker 1: he was so loved in the community, so people like
- 24:25Speaker 1: would protect him obviously and wouldn't say certain things. And
- 24:28Speaker 1: then we're up. They thought that we're protecting me, which
- 24:29Speaker 1: I find it very stupid, protecting me from what from
- 24:33Speaker 1: my husband being bisexual. I don't think that's a thing, honestly, Like,
- 24:36Speaker 1: I get it they're protecting me from something bad. But
- 24:39Speaker 1: you know, I've never seen bisexuality or homosexuality as something
- 24:42Speaker 1: bad ordgerous, so to me, I don't. I really didn't
- 24:47Speaker 1: know why. But you know, obviously it's been six years,
- 24:50Speaker 1: so I have you know, found out a lot of things,
- 24:53Speaker 1: you know, like you do with time and with the
- 24:55Speaker 1: person no longer being here. Um. So I remember like
- 25:00Speaker 1: after Herman passed away that I did find a lot
- 25:02Speaker 1: of these things out, and a lot of them are
- 25:04Speaker 1: from his his children, by the way. Um. So at
- 25:09Speaker 1: that moment, I wanted to reach out, you know, to
- 25:12Speaker 1: this individual and just have like a heart to her
- 25:14Speaker 1: conversation because he was the one really that was with him,
- 25:17Speaker 1: you know, more time than with me. Even though we
- 25:19Speaker 1: did work together, we were obviously separated, and so even
- 25:24Speaker 1: though there was still like a connection, obviously it wasn't
- 25:26Speaker 1: the same as you know, the person he was with.
- 25:29Speaker 1: So at that moment, I wanted to do it right
- 25:31Speaker 1: after that, and everybody's like, Alexia, you're not ready, you
- 25:34Speaker 1: know psychologically, you know, emotionally, don't do that. It's gonna
- 25:38Speaker 1: hurt you. You're not strong enough. So I kind of
- 25:40Speaker 1: gave it something and said, you know what, you're right.
- 25:42Speaker 1: You know I still have mixed emotions that may be angry.
- 25:45Speaker 1: You know, I may do this wrong, and you know,
- 25:47Speaker 1: I want this moment to be right right when I'm ready.
- 25:50Speaker 1: So fast forward, you know, a couple of years passed by,
- 25:54Speaker 1: and um, my friend Johnny, you know, is season around
- 25:59Speaker 1: in places, so he's had a conversation with him and
- 26:02Speaker 1: you know, they know about each other, and he said,
- 26:04Speaker 1: you know what, this is my phone number. If I
- 26:05Speaker 1: like said, everyone was to call me or talk to me.
- 26:08Speaker 1: You know, I'm here for her because you know, I know,
- 26:12Speaker 1: so he was already kind of trying as well. So
- 26:15Speaker 1: when I'm talking to Marison and Johnny, I'm like, you
- 26:19Speaker 1: know what, like would I be really weird? Like does
- 26:22Speaker 1: it sound really weird if I told you that I
- 26:24Speaker 1: would love to talk to like, you know, Herman's lover.
- 26:27Speaker 1: And Marison thought it was weird. I would yeah, the
- 26:32Speaker 1: marathon at first, and she was like, why would you
- 26:34Speaker 1: want to do that? First? I know you, and you
- 26:37Speaker 1: would do even more than that, right that my conversation
- 26:40Speaker 1: with her, So stop, Okay, I know you. But second
- 26:42Speaker 1: of all, Marisov didn't really understand at the moment when
- 26:46Speaker 1: I said it. Why And I said, Marison, like I
- 26:49Speaker 1: need to know, like I don't want to know about
- 26:51Speaker 1: like I need to know that he was in a
- 26:52Speaker 1: good place, Like I need to know that he was
- 26:54Speaker 1: happy that he finally got to do was he you
- 26:57Speaker 1: know what he wanted to do? That was he planning
- 27:00Speaker 1: telling me? He was never gonna tell me, like his
- 27:02Speaker 1: lover told me at that time, but like he was
- 27:04Speaker 1: never going to tell you, Alexia, you respected you so much?
- 27:07Speaker 1: And I said, yeah, so you know, a lot of
- 27:10Speaker 1: these questions kind of like for like not to put
- 27:13Speaker 1: closure obviously, you know if a put closure to my life.
- 27:17Speaker 1: But at the same time, it was like it was
- 27:19Speaker 1: a conversation where we both laughed at the same stories,
- 27:23Speaker 1: we cried. You know, he told me things, I told
- 27:26Speaker 1: him things. It was just perfect and at a perfect time.
- 27:29Speaker 1: So in any way, it was like to make him
- 27:32Speaker 1: look bad. But you know how it is camera. I
- 27:34Speaker 1: mean like, okay, I'm saying it, but guess what, maybe
- 27:37Speaker 1: America doesn't know about it, but all Miami does. So
- 27:40Speaker 1: it's like everybody was saying it behind my back. Even
- 27:43Speaker 1: that's what they tried to mention something like that, right,
- 27:45Speaker 1: and you know they shut it down, but you know
- 27:48Speaker 1: it's something that everybody knows. And again I'm focusing on
- 27:52Speaker 1: the positive and on the good of it. Well, you
- 27:54Speaker 1: definitely were graceful through the whole entire thing. I mean actually,
- 27:58Speaker 1: everything that happens or comes up or comes your way.
- 28:01Speaker 1: I just feel like you are just like Teflon. You're
- 28:03Speaker 1: just like just slide off of me. I'm just gonna
- 28:06Speaker 1: keep smiling and adjust my crown. You're amazed, and Alex say,
- 28:10Speaker 1: I know that you have to go. Thank you so
- 28:12Speaker 1: much for taking the time to come on to teas
- 28:15Speaker 1: in a pod and um, I'm I want to come
- 28:17Speaker 1: to your party in Miami. Yes, you definitely invite it.
- 28:20Speaker 1: And when I'm in l A I'll call you so
- 28:22Speaker 1: we can. Yes, I would love that. I would love that. Well,
- 28:25Speaker 1: thank you so much and have a wonderful day. Thank
- 28:27Speaker 1: you you as well, Tamara, thank you
