- 0:00Speaker 1: Here on a Texan Tuesday on sports Radio AM thirteen
- 0:02Speaker 1: hundred of the Zone. No denying the fact that this
- 0:05Speaker 1: young man is a Texan.
- 0:09Speaker 2: Product of LBJ High School.
- 0:10Speaker 1: Played three years at Clemson, then came back to Texas
- 0:13Speaker 1: and aren't long worn fans happy with it? Five interceptions
- 0:17Speaker 1: He and Johnny Baron each with five picks. They've had
- 0:19Speaker 1: their unfriendly competition went on the season, but I would
- 0:22Speaker 1: say the fifth interception for Andrew Maccoba was probably the
- 0:25Speaker 1: best of all of the ten interceptions. Combined Macoba with
- 0:30Speaker 1: the game sealing interception against Arizona State in the second overtime.
- 0:34Speaker 1: And Andrew took part in the media availability zoom opportunity
- 0:39Speaker 1: with the gathered media from Texas, from Ohio and the
- 0:43Speaker 1: national media.
- 0:44Speaker 3: Hi, Andrew, Obviously, your family's journey to this point is
- 0:50Speaker 3: an incredible story, but then your story even coming back
- 0:53Speaker 3: and it feels like you've sort of elevated yourself this year,
- 0:56Speaker 3: which I know you said coming in the season you
- 0:58Speaker 3: wanted to what has been the reason why you've been
- 1:01Speaker 3: so comfortable and made so many plays this year?
- 1:06Speaker 4: Uh, I feel like schematically, you know, I feel like
- 1:08Speaker 4: it's a good fit for me. Uh, you know, just
- 1:11Speaker 4: having the opportunity to play that true safety position. And
- 1:15Speaker 4: uh and I say, I say, as far as far
- 1:20Speaker 4: as coaching as well, has helped me a lot too.
- 1:23Speaker 4: And really really just getting comfortable. I felt that was
- 1:26Speaker 4: my biggest thing. Just getting comfortable and you know, and
- 1:29Speaker 4: playing playing football the right way like I feel like
- 1:31Speaker 4: I'm playing now. Kind of reminds me of my high
- 1:33Speaker 4: school days where I'm just flying around and having fun.
- 1:36Speaker 2: Andrew, obviously Jada won the Thorpe.
- 1:39Speaker 5: I'm kind of wondering, what are your impressions of the
- 1:40Speaker 5: other guys in that cornerback room, Manny Gavin, just how
- 1:44Speaker 5: they played throughout the throughout the season.
- 1:47Speaker 2: Uh, They've They've played exceptional. Uh.
- 1:49Speaker 4: You know, they're a big part of the reasons why
- 1:51Speaker 4: we're successful as a defense, especially in the back end.
- 1:55Speaker 5: Uh.
- 1:56Speaker 4: You know those guys, you know, they come in then
- 1:58Speaker 4: they all put in work. You know know Mani is
- 2:00Speaker 4: one of the leaders in the back game, so you know,
- 2:03Speaker 4: stuff stuff run through him too. So I say, I say,
- 2:05Speaker 4: those guys have really showed up for us big time.
- 2:07Speaker 4: Gab come in there, you hold it down, you know,
- 2:10Speaker 4: you see, like the games like Georgia game. He came
- 2:12Speaker 4: in there and did what he supposed to do. And
- 2:14Speaker 4: I say, yeah, those guys do it, do a great,
- 2:16Speaker 4: great job, and they really helping us. You know, they're
- 2:18Speaker 4: part of the reason why we we who we are
- 2:20Speaker 4: as a defense. What's up, Andrew, I just wanted to
- 2:23Speaker 4: ask about the season so far. I know it's starting
- 2:25Speaker 4: to feel like nflc's not bad, you know, with all
- 2:28Speaker 4: the games on the schedule. I know the body is
- 2:30Speaker 4: not great, but just when it comes to the chemistry though,
- 2:32Speaker 4: with these added games, I know you've talked about this scheme.
- 2:35Speaker 4: How has that helped out with just learning the scheme
- 2:37Speaker 4: more with the more time to learn it and also
- 2:39Speaker 4: just being a transfer coming into this locker room. How
- 2:42Speaker 4: these added games, the more time in the locker room
- 2:44Speaker 4: helped you out just building relationships and bonds with the guys. Oh,
- 2:50Speaker 4: I mean with these added games, you know, I feel
- 2:52Speaker 4: like he just gives you a kind of different a
- 2:53Speaker 4: different switch of different intailor you know, and then you
- 2:56Speaker 4: know one of these games could be your last game.
- 2:59Speaker 4: So you know, we just we just try to gu
- 3:00Speaker 4: out there and you know, prepare like, you know, this
- 3:03Speaker 4: could be our last game and we or else we
- 3:06Speaker 4: keep going. So it's really just it's really just the
- 3:09Speaker 4: mentality to be honest with you knowing that you know
- 3:11Speaker 4: that we're in a situation where if we lose, we
- 3:12Speaker 4: going home, and if we win, we just keep playing.
- 3:15Speaker 4: And you know, we were in a position where we
- 3:17Speaker 4: got the you know, national spot out on us. You know,
- 3:20Speaker 4: this is what you want, you know, for a guy
- 3:22Speaker 4: like me, this is what I wanted. So you know,
- 3:25Speaker 4: you know, the more games we play, you know that
- 3:27Speaker 4: the better it is for you for us as a
- 3:29Speaker 4: team to you know, have the opportunity which our goal,
- 3:32Speaker 4: you know, and as an individual goal, you know, it's
- 3:34Speaker 4: the opportunity you know, to guard on the big, big,
- 3:36Speaker 4: big stage, you know, and showcase your talent.
- 3:38Speaker 6: Andrew, you guys are facing the most explosive offense in
- 3:43Speaker 6: the country right now. What's the concern level with some
- 3:47Speaker 6: of the truck plays that you gave up in this
- 3:49Speaker 6: last game and how how are you guys communicating in
- 3:54Speaker 6: practice to try to keep Ohio States under ramp.
- 3:59Speaker 4: Uh We don't really, I wouldn't say we have any
- 4:01Speaker 4: concerning plays.
- 4:02Speaker 6: You know.
- 4:03Speaker 4: I feel like the things that we went through can
- 4:05Speaker 4: be fixing this and they ain't nothing really huge or
- 4:08Speaker 4: something that we need to worry about for real. Uh,
- 4:10Speaker 4: you know we've made those adjustments already, and you know
- 4:12Speaker 4: we moved on to the to the game that we
- 4:14Speaker 4: got coming up.
- 4:15Speaker 2: But you know, I wouldn't say it's any concerns to
- 4:18Speaker 2: be honest with you.
- 4:19Speaker 7: Yeah, Andrew, you and your teammates shop as you're playing
- 4:21Speaker 7: great football, and you know, Will Howard's got like, you know,
- 4:26Speaker 7: thirty two toutsdowns completing like seventy three percent. And you
- 4:29Speaker 7: know about Jeremiah Smith and America, is there gonna be
- 4:32Speaker 7: more pressure on you guys in this game than in
- 4:35Speaker 7: any game all year in our in our most team's
- 4:38Speaker 7: doubling Jeremiah Smith.
- 4:41Speaker 2: I wouldn't necessarily say pressure.
- 4:43Speaker 4: I feel like, you know, at this game, you know,
- 4:45Speaker 4: it's just how we prepare, prepare for any other game
- 4:48Speaker 4: we did do in the year, you know, just going
- 4:51Speaker 4: out there to practice, practicing hard, you know, you know,
- 4:53Speaker 4: I feel like we've we've never really prepared differently for
- 4:56Speaker 4: whatever game it was. You know, we just went in
- 4:59Speaker 4: with the same approach you know, every week, you know,
- 5:01Speaker 4: to just practice hard, you know, let the results.
- 5:03Speaker 2: You know show on Saturdays.
- 5:04Speaker 4: And I feel like we've done a good job of
- 5:06Speaker 4: doing it every weekend and week out, you know, because
- 5:09Speaker 4: the guy around this time, you know, guys get banged
- 5:11Speaker 4: up and tied. But you know, with the guys that
- 5:13Speaker 4: we have, uh, you know, we we do a good
- 5:15Speaker 4: job of that. And you know as far as you know,
- 5:18Speaker 4: well Howard and those guys, you know they they do
- 5:21Speaker 4: a good job you know throwing the ball.
- 5:23Speaker 1: Uh.
- 5:23Speaker 4: You know, we're hired as a good quarterback. You know, experience,
- 5:25Speaker 4: got a lot of experience under his belt.
- 5:27Speaker 2: Uh.
- 5:27Speaker 4: You know, he can find ways to pick apart to
- 5:29Speaker 4: your defense and just those those sort of things.
- 5:31Speaker 5: So you know it's gonna be fun. Andrew appreciate the time.
- 5:36Speaker 5: I'm just curious, can you kind of compare and contrast
- 5:39Speaker 5: the styles that you see from the two Ohio state
- 5:42Speaker 5: running backs? Are they different or are they similar?
- 5:45Speaker 2: In your eyes?
- 5:47Speaker 4: Uh, I'll say, I'll say they different. Uh you know,
- 5:52Speaker 4: but you know they both they both special guys it
- 5:54Speaker 4: can do it can do so much with the ball,
- 5:56Speaker 4: you know, very special with the ball in their hand.
- 5:58Speaker 2: Can make you know, players happen.
- 6:00Speaker 7: Uh.
- 6:00Speaker 4: You know, as far as uh Jenkins, I feel like
- 6:03Speaker 4: he he a hard running run hard, you know, got
- 6:06Speaker 4: got speed on him. And I believe, Uh, Travan Henderson,
- 6:10Speaker 4: he's more of a you know, a guy that's gonna
- 6:11Speaker 4: you know, get tried to get get him in space,
- 6:15Speaker 4: you know, getting the ball. You know, let him, let
- 6:16Speaker 4: him do what he does. So I say, I say,
- 6:18Speaker 4: they to a different running best, but you know they're
- 6:20Speaker 4: both very special and uh, they can they can hurt
- 6:23Speaker 4: you in a lot of ways.
- 6:24Speaker 8: Andrew, can you talk about your body the recovery you guys,
- 6:28Speaker 8: you know some of you played over one hundred snaps
- 6:30Speaker 8: in that game. And then what have the teams that
- 6:34Speaker 8: have had success, the defenses that have had success against
- 6:37Speaker 8: Ohio State, what's been the common threat?
- 6:42Speaker 2: Uh?
- 6:43Speaker 4: I mean as far as far as the body, you know,
- 6:45Speaker 4: coach coach Sharp and the guys there, they do a
- 6:48Speaker 4: good job, you know taking care of us, you know,
- 6:49Speaker 4: try to give us some time to recover, uh, you know,
- 6:52Speaker 4: to kind of take the load off of us and practice.
- 6:55Speaker 2: Uh.
- 6:55Speaker 4: And I believe those those those stuff, those stuff help
- 6:58Speaker 4: us to share as far as like recover, been trying
- 7:00Speaker 4: to get our bodies back because like you just said,
- 7:03Speaker 4: you know it's the guys that played over hunderd snaps,
- 7:05Speaker 4: So that's important and they and they do a good
- 7:07Speaker 4: job prioritizing that. And Uh, what was your second question?
- 7:12Speaker 8: The teams, the teams that have had success against Ohio
- 7:16Speaker 8: State's offense, what is there a common thread?
- 7:21Speaker 2: Uh?
- 7:21Speaker 4: I say, really just match master physicality. Uh, you know
- 7:25Speaker 4: that's I say, that's the biggest thing. And Uh, I say,
- 7:28Speaker 4: you know it was start. It starts our front, you know,
- 7:30Speaker 4: with the with the line and then with the with
- 7:32Speaker 4: the linebackers and obviously with the guys in the back end.
- 7:34Speaker 4: So I say, if we match our physicality, you know,
- 7:37Speaker 4: that's what the other teams that that has played them,
- 7:40Speaker 4: uh did and had success doing it. So that's one
- 7:44Speaker 4: that's one big thing we're gonna try to carry into
- 7:45Speaker 4: this game is you know, try to master the physicality
- 7:48Speaker 4: and if not, be the more physical team.
- 7:51Speaker 8: Andrew, What's what are the biggest things to stand out
- 7:53Speaker 8: to you when you watch Jeremiah Smith on the film.
- 7:57Speaker 2: Uh, he can he can catch the ball.
- 8:00Speaker 4: He got good catch radius, he can he can make
- 8:02Speaker 4: a lot of crazy catches, good speed, good route runner.
- 8:06Speaker 6: Uh.
- 8:07Speaker 4: And the kid, the kid is very special. I don't
- 8:10Speaker 4: seen him on him you know, do some crazy things.
- 8:12Speaker 4: Run past people, jump over people, those sorts of things,
- 8:15Speaker 4: and I can I can tell uh, you know, he
- 8:18Speaker 4: put in, he put in the time, and he's done
- 8:21Speaker 4: what he's supposed to do. And he can tell about
- 8:22Speaker 4: how he playing with a lot of confidence.
- 8:24Speaker 2: Uh. And and that's going to carry on for him.
- 8:27Speaker 2: I know that.
- 8:27Speaker 4: So you know, you know he he a good player,
- 8:30Speaker 4: for sure, you a good player, and he very special.
- 8:33Speaker 3: Hey, Andrew, obviously you know you and and Taff and
- 8:39Speaker 3: Jaday had a relationship for a while before before this.
- 8:42Speaker 3: And then you go to Clemson. You know Taff and uh,
- 8:47Speaker 3: Taff and John Day almost didn't have the chance to
- 8:49Speaker 3: come to Texas either. So why did you go to
- 8:52Speaker 3: Clemson to begin with? And then how did it all
- 8:54Speaker 3: end up where you all come back together now to
- 8:56Speaker 3: play in all these big games together?
- 8:58Speaker 5: And what is that?
- 8:58Speaker 3: What has that been like for you guys?
- 9:00Speaker 2: Uh, playing together, playing together?
- 9:03Speaker 4: That was something that we've always talked about, you know,
- 9:05Speaker 4: since we were training with each other, uh in high school.
- 9:08Speaker 4: And uh, you know, me going to Clemson, you know,
- 9:10Speaker 4: I believe I had an opportunity, you know to play early.
- 9:13Speaker 2: Uh.
- 9:13Speaker 4: And you know that's a school that I believe was
- 9:16Speaker 4: right for me in the moment. Uh, And I mean
- 9:19Speaker 4: I made that decision. But you know, just just just
- 9:22Speaker 4: having all three of us here, you know that that
- 9:24Speaker 4: really means a lot to us because you know, it's
- 9:26Speaker 4: something that we talked about multiple times and now seeing
- 9:29Speaker 4: it come to reality, it's even crazier. And you know,
- 9:32Speaker 4: in us doing it this big you know, with Jade,
- 9:35Speaker 4: you know, winning the Thorpe and playing some of its
- 9:36Speaker 4: best football and then we ta you know, all American
- 9:39Speaker 4: playing some of its best football. I mean it's literally
- 9:41Speaker 4: everything we talked about and it's really and it's happening
- 9:44Speaker 4: in front of us, and you know, we got we
- 9:45Speaker 4: got a bigger go to go rich So you know,
- 9:48Speaker 4: the story not over.
- 9:49Speaker 3: So you can you go from one hundred and sixteenth
- 9:52Speaker 3: in past defense last year to the top this year
- 9:55Speaker 3: with with all three you guys together, now you have
- 9:57Speaker 3: this giant challenge ahead of you. You know, do you
- 10:01Speaker 3: go back to those training sessions together and talk about
- 10:04Speaker 3: these things? What is this you know moment like now
- 10:06Speaker 3: all together going forward in this huge game and at at.
- 10:09Speaker 8: And t.
- 10:11Speaker 7: H.
- 10:12Speaker 4: I mean I just always just go back to our preparation. Uh,
- 10:15Speaker 4: you know, I would the moment, not too big or
- 10:18Speaker 4: too small. You know, we're just gonna approach it like
- 10:20Speaker 4: we would approach any other week. You know, We're gonna
- 10:22Speaker 4: communicate like how we communicate any other week, you know.
- 10:25Speaker 4: And then those guys, you know, they're gonna step up
- 10:27Speaker 4: just like they do every week, and and I know
- 10:30Speaker 4: they are, so you know, it's really it's really not
- 10:32Speaker 4: much to it. Other thing, you know, going out there
- 10:34Speaker 4: with the right approach, you know, and playing the right
- 10:36Speaker 4: way playing Teta Texas defense football.
- 10:40Speaker 7: Yeah, Andrew, we talked about killer in steep before and
- 10:43Speaker 7: putting teams away and obviously y'all had that problem against
- 10:47Speaker 7: Arizona State. What's the key to fixing that? And make
- 10:51Speaker 7: sure you you know, keep the pedal of the metal
- 10:54Speaker 7: and try to finish games. Uh.
- 10:57Speaker 4: The key today, you know it's playing you know for
- 10:59Speaker 4: a complete quarters. Uh, you know it never never settle,
- 11:02Speaker 4: not saying that we did, but you know, never settle
- 11:04Speaker 4: or you know, I never think that, you know, anything
- 11:06Speaker 4: can't happen in the game. So I say, you know,
- 11:09Speaker 4: the key to that, you know it is just you know,
- 11:11Speaker 4: keep playing hard in the matter what the score is,
- 11:12Speaker 4: you know, just just play play complete four quarters, you know,
- 11:16Speaker 4: until the until the clock hit double zero. Hey, you
- 11:19Speaker 4: just wanted to ask how exciting is it to be
- 11:22Speaker 4: able to play this semi final game in your home
- 11:24Speaker 4: state and how big crowd do you think will be
- 11:26Speaker 4: filled with Burno Orange?
- 11:29Speaker 2: Oh?
- 11:29Speaker 4: I mean it's huge, you know, having the opportunity, like
- 11:31Speaker 4: he said, to play in my home state, you know,
- 11:34Speaker 4: in one of the biggest games that's going on right now.
- 11:37Speaker 2: You know that's that's huge.
- 11:38Speaker 4: You know, because we got a lot of guys on
- 11:39Speaker 4: the team that's from Texas, especially from Dallas. So you know,
- 11:42Speaker 4: I know those guys are pumped up, and you know
- 11:44Speaker 4: that I know those guys are ready to go. And
- 11:46Speaker 4: you know, as far as as far as the crowd,
- 11:48Speaker 4: I know, I know Texas fans never disappointed, So I
- 11:51Speaker 4: know the Texas fans are going to show up and
- 11:52Speaker 4: shot out every time, and you know, bring the energy.
- 11:56Speaker 5: Hey, Andrew, I just want to follow up on what
- 11:59Speaker 5: I was asking before about the running backs. I mean,
- 12:02Speaker 5: when you've got two guys who can do different things,
- 12:05Speaker 5: I guess, what what what type of challenge does that
- 12:07Speaker 5: present for y'all defensively? And how do you kind of
- 12:09Speaker 5: counter that?
- 12:11Speaker 4: Uh, it's a different type of challenge because we we
- 12:14Speaker 4: we you know, one guy on the on the field,
- 12:17Speaker 4: you know, you got to make adjustment to what kind
- 12:19Speaker 4: of player he is, what he can do to hurt us,
- 12:21Speaker 4: and then with the other guy on the field, we
- 12:23Speaker 4: got to do the same. So it's definitely it's definitely
- 12:25Speaker 4: a challenge. And you know, that's something that we're up for.
- 12:28Speaker 4: Uh And I know, I know that's that's something that
- 12:31Speaker 4: we're gonna come in and take care of business and
- 12:33Speaker 4: and do we su used to do. But you know,
- 12:35Speaker 4: it's it's it's definitely it's definitely a different challenge.
- 12:38Speaker 2: Uh and.
- 12:38Speaker 4: And it's a lot of it's it's a lot of
- 12:40Speaker 4: things that they can do both, you know, to really
- 12:42Speaker 4: tell a defensive part, you know it hurts you on
- 12:44Speaker 4: the defense on defense.
- 12:47Speaker 8: Hey, Andrew, just how weird or different does it feel
- 12:52Speaker 8: to be the underdog all of a sudden in a
- 12:54Speaker 8: in a game in the state of Texas.
- 12:58Speaker 4: I wouldn't really say weird of any type of feeling,
- 13:01Speaker 4: to be honest with you know, speaking from a player perspective,
- 13:04Speaker 4: you know, guys like you know, the guys in luck
- 13:06Speaker 4: and we don't really pay attention to that because you know,
- 13:10Speaker 4: all that stuff could be.
- 13:11Speaker 2: Wrong, but we don't.
- 13:11Speaker 4: We don't, we don't really you know, put our minds.
- 13:13Speaker 4: So we just focus on a task in hand and
- 13:15Speaker 4: you know, doing what pussed to do. And if they
- 13:18Speaker 4: got us the underdog, then that's fine. If they're don't,
- 13:20Speaker 4: then that's also fine. But we're just going out there
- 13:22Speaker 4: to go, you know, handle our of business, you know,
- 13:24Speaker 4: win the game, you know, and go on to the
- 13:26Speaker 4: next game.
- 13:26Speaker 2: Ah.
- 13:27Speaker 1: That's the business like approach of Andrew mccooby and the Loghorns.
- 13:30Speaker 2: Hopefully that'll carry through that.
- 13:31Speaker 1: Hey, before we get to the break, couple of things
- 13:34Speaker 1: on the text line, someone asked about what I mentioned,
- 13:39Speaker 1: the excitement about Roger Wallace being named Texas sports caster.
- 13:42Speaker 1: They said, did they implement that rule that you mentioned
- 13:45Speaker 1: about your not eligible back to back? Here is because
- 13:47Speaker 1: you would win it every year, just like they quit
- 13:49Speaker 1: giving m vps too proud and Georgie, come on, you
- 13:53Speaker 1: think of all the all the great sports broadcasters in
- 13:57Speaker 1: this state.
- 13:58Speaker 2: There was a.
- 13:59Speaker 1: Time before they implemented that rule. I think when Verna
- 14:01Speaker 1: Lunkliss was working in Dallas for Worth of Channel and
- 14:04Speaker 1: he won it six.
- 14:04Speaker 2: Years in a row. Six years in a row.
- 14:08Speaker 1: I think Eric Nadell Rangers Broadcasters won it five times.
- 14:12Speaker 1: Brade Ham I think has won it nine times, not
- 14:14Speaker 1: in a row, but they just wanted to make sure
- 14:16Speaker 1: that that and really and truly nobody had won it
- 14:20Speaker 1: even before they implemented the rule, nobody had wanted him
- 14:23Speaker 1: back to back heres in several years. Several years, I
- 14:27Speaker 1: mean going all the way back to when I won
- 14:28Speaker 1: the first time. I think in when I won for
- 14:32Speaker 1: twenty sixteen. I think Bill Shoning won the year before
- 14:34Speaker 1: that for twenty fifteen. It was the first time for
- 14:35Speaker 1: both of us on that So there's been a lot
- 14:39Speaker 1: of non repeat winners, even winners even before they put
- 14:43Speaker 1: in the non repeat clause.
- 14:44Speaker 2: I think it's a good thing.
- 14:46Speaker 8: Off of that.
- 14:47Speaker 1: Somebody else said, I could entertain cam Jason Whitten being
- 14:51Speaker 1: the head coach if it only gets if and only
- 14:55Speaker 1: he gets the correct staff put together to compliment him,
- 14:57Speaker 1: similar to Dan Campbell being the head coach bringing fitness
- 15:00Speaker 1: and determination, but having the oct DC for the play
- 15:04Speaker 1: calling and scheming. Jason Witten comes off winning a state
- 15:07Speaker 1: championship at the private school level at Liberty Christian in Argyle. Yeah,
- 15:11Speaker 1: has he won too straight. Yeah, I think that's right
- 15:13Speaker 1: back to back Stone. That's actually a really.
- 15:16Speaker 9: Good text there because I think that's something that Jerry
- 15:17Speaker 9: Jones would probably do. Does worry me though a bit,
- 15:20Speaker 9: right because we saw uab higher Trent Dilferd. He'd won
- 15:23Speaker 9: a high school state championship and obviously college football different
- 15:26Speaker 9: animal than the Cowboys, and he has struggled mightily. And
- 15:29Speaker 9: of course, now on the other side, you of Deon Sanders,
- 15:31Speaker 9: who's gone from the media to Jackson State to Colorado.
- 15:34Speaker 1: So he kind of had that outlaw private school program
- 15:37Speaker 1: at Prime Prep.
- 15:39Speaker 9: Yeah, so I think you know, there's cases of word
- 15:41Speaker 9: it does work, doesn't work. But yeah, to the textas
- 15:43Speaker 9: point you think you got to you got to wit
- 15:45Speaker 9: and would have to surround himself with the right staff.
- 15:48Speaker 9: But yeah, I could see Jason Witten to it. I
- 15:50Speaker 9: could see Deion Sanders, but I think we would We
- 15:52Speaker 9: would probably hear more talk about that now if he
- 15:54Speaker 9: was interested in leaping to the NFL, because it's it's
- 15:57Speaker 9: been pretty quiet, but you know, who knows. The season
- 16:00Speaker 9: is not over with yet, so there still might be
- 16:01Speaker 9: some coaches and there's like Ben Johnson obviously is going
- 16:03Speaker 9: to have a chance at the head coaching job. Heard
- 16:06Speaker 9: the text stuff As a coordinator, he's interne he interviewed
- 16:08Speaker 9: for who did the interview with for the Jets? Slowik,
- 16:12Speaker 9: So a lot of coordinators will be doing a lot
- 16:14Speaker 9: of interviewing after the season ends.
- 16:15Speaker 1: True enough, all right, we'll hear from Jake Major's coming
- 16:18Speaker 1: up here on AM thirteen.
- 16:19Speaker 2: Out of the Zone,
