- 1:19Speaker 1: thank you, and the NBA playoffs are happening, and also
- 1:22Speaker 1: the drafts coming up. But we'll start with what everybody
- 1:24Speaker 1: wants the pope odds. Oh wow, the odds would be
- 1:28Speaker 1: the next pope?
- 1:29Speaker 3: Is that on Draft Kings?
- 1:30Speaker 1: No, you can't. You have to go off. You don't,
- 1:33Speaker 1: you really can't. Yeah, it's like, but they do have
- 1:36Speaker 1: odds like that had a bookie and I did look
- 1:39Speaker 1: on draft Kings and wasn't there. Yeah, probably better because
- 1:42Speaker 1: I think if you have this list, then you go
- 1:43Speaker 1: to hell. I think if you just listed, you go
- 1:46Speaker 1: to hell. So Pope Francis died at the age of
- 1:49Speaker 1: eighty eight earlier this week, and obviously people are like,
- 1:51Speaker 1: who's the next Pope going to be? But none of
- 1:53Speaker 1: us actually know who these people are.
- 1:54Speaker 4: That's the best part.
- 1:55Speaker 1: It's like betting on, uh, the cricket Championships. We're like, well,
- 2:00Speaker 1: I mean, we're somewhat familiar with the game, but we
- 2:01Speaker 1: don't know any of the players any.
- 2:03Speaker 5: But to your Catholic I was raised Catholic.
- 2:05Speaker 1: Yeah raise, Okay, so we're somewhat familiar with it.
- 2:07Speaker 4: Yea, so family.
- 2:11Speaker 1: According to Vegas and Mason pal of a hCG Sports
- 2:16Speaker 1: on TikTok, the betting odds for the next pope are
- 2:18Speaker 1: out here. He is talking about how the process happens
- 2:21Speaker 1: where they elect the next pope, and why Vegas doesn't
- 2:24Speaker 1: think a new pope will be elected this year at all,
- 2:27Speaker 1: even though in the next few weeks they'll be together
- 2:29Speaker 1: starting to vote.
- 2:31Speaker 6: The first thing that we need to talk about is
- 2:32Speaker 6: the fact that Vegas doesn't think that there will be
- 2:34Speaker 6: a new pope elected in twenty twenty five. I think
- 2:37Speaker 6: give it minus two hundred odds that there won't be
- 2:39Speaker 6: a new one. The reason for that is because two
- 2:41Speaker 6: thirds of old cardinals need to agree on a pope.
- 2:44Speaker 6: Getting two thirds of people to agree on anything is
- 2:46Speaker 6: nearly impossible. This is also kind of crazy considering the
- 2:48Speaker 6: fact that within fifteen to twenty days the cardinals are
- 2:51Speaker 6: going to start voting.
- 2:53Speaker 1: So imagine that in three weeks they're going to start voting.
- 2:56Speaker 1: But Vegas puts the odds of no minus two hundred
- 3:00Speaker 1: this year. That's that's O. J. Simpson type sequestioning, like
- 3:04Speaker 1: when the Jerry just said there for months. So I
- 3:07Speaker 1: think at some point too, they have to be like, fine,
- 3:09Speaker 1: I'll vote for Johnny because they're just tired to be
- 3:12Speaker 1: in there for months and months. Okay, it's like a
- 3:14Speaker 1: hung jury, Frank, you're gonna have it.
- 3:16Speaker 3: How much credibility does Vegas have though here? Like, I
- 3:19Speaker 3: know Vegas knows a lot about sports, but the Vatican, Like,
- 3:22Speaker 3: do they have an insider at the Vatican?
- 3:24Speaker 1: I think shams calls in from the Vatican. Yeah, let's
- 3:30Speaker 1: take today the Vatican Shams. So this is Mason talking
- 3:34Speaker 1: about the top four candidates according to Vegas.
- 3:37Speaker 6: First off, we have Lewis Antonio Tagel, who has even
- 3:40Speaker 6: odds right now, and he is seen as the Asian
- 3:42Speaker 6: version of Pope Francis. Essentially he is going to be
- 3:45Speaker 6: a continuation of Pope Francis if he were to become
- 3:48Speaker 6: the next Pope. Next up, we have Pietro Perrilynd who
- 3:51Speaker 6: is the Secretary of State to the Vatican. He has
- 3:54Speaker 6: plus one fifty odds. The Secretary of State essentially his
- 3:57Speaker 6: second in line to the Pope and the Vatican. However,
- 3:59Speaker 6: the second Cherio State for the Vatican has not been
- 4:01Speaker 6: elected pope since the nineteen thirties. Next up we have
- 4:04Speaker 6: Mark Uhlett, who is plus five hundred odds. I will say,
- 4:07Speaker 6: though I don't like this bet eighty year old pope.
- 4:11Speaker 6: Gotta get a little younger now the moment you've all
- 4:13Speaker 6: been waiting for a potential black pope. Obviously there's never
- 4:16Speaker 6: been a black pope before. And the guy who has
- 4:18Speaker 6: the best odds is from Dolan and Bongo Bazoongu. Hopefully
- 4:22Speaker 6: I didn't completely butcher that name.
- 4:23Speaker 3: Good thing.
- 4:24Speaker 6: If he's elected pope, he will acquire a new name
- 4:26Speaker 6: because that is going to be a mouthful either way.
- 4:29Speaker 6: Very conservative potential pope from Africa.
- 4:32Speaker 1: Yeah, it'd be like Pope Jean instead of for Dolan
- 4:36Speaker 1: and Bongo Bizoongu. Yeah, pope's not white. Yeah, a lot
- 4:41Speaker 1: of white popes even though they haven't been white. Like
- 4:43Speaker 1: the last Pope wasn't white, he was South American. But yeah,
- 4:48Speaker 1: like they all kind of look the same white because
- 4:50Speaker 1: there's Hispanic and then there's non white Hispanic or something.
- 4:55Speaker 1: I don't know. I don't know the boxes. It's like
- 4:57Speaker 1: check this, are you white? Are you Apanic? Are you
- 5:00Speaker 1: non white, Hispanic. Are you a pope? There's all these.
- 5:04Speaker 3: So what about the Asian one?
- 5:06Speaker 1: Though?
- 5:06Speaker 3: That's interesting?
- 5:07Speaker 1: Yea, I hope Louis Antonio Tagol the Asian pope or
- 5:12Speaker 1: free Dolan and Bongo Buzoongu. Like, I'm really rooting for
- 5:16Speaker 1: people that aren't white to do this. I really white
- 5:18Speaker 1: people have had their moment. Well let's move on.
- 5:21Speaker 3: Let's but I don't see the Catholic Church changing things
- 5:24Speaker 3: really like they don't. That's not their thing to change things.
- 5:26Speaker 3: Their thing is to keep things the way they've been
- 5:28Speaker 3: since the very beginning.
- 5:29Speaker 5: Takes a lot of time.
- 5:31Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm still rooting for the non wives. Yeah, I'm
- 5:34Speaker 1: not rooting for my home team here. I'm really I've
- 5:36Speaker 1: switched sides. I've turned a heel. I'mvoting for anti white
- 5:40Speaker 1: so and then here's the final clip here, this is
- 5:42Speaker 1: I'm talking about his favorite. This is so ridiculous that
- 5:45Speaker 1: we're talking about betting odds on the pope.
- 5:47Speaker 6: But go ahead, last, and certainly not least, we have
- 5:50Speaker 6: who I think is going to be the next pope,
- 5:52Speaker 6: and that is Peter Urdle at plus eight hundred odds.
- 5:54Speaker 6: How the papacy usually works is that you have a
- 5:57Speaker 6: liberal pope, and then it shifts to a conservative of pope.
- 6:00Speaker 1: Peter Ernle fits that mold.
- 6:02Speaker 6: He is from Hungaria, which is actually very good considering
- 6:05Speaker 6: the Europeans usually have a lot of sway during papal elections.
- 6:09Speaker 6: And he is also the sort of pope because of
- 6:11Speaker 6: his conservative background who could unite with Africa. I could
- 6:15Speaker 6: see him winning the two thirds just by getting all
- 6:17Speaker 6: of Europe and all of Africa.
- 6:19Speaker 1: So there you go. He thinks that he doesn't know anything,
- 6:24Speaker 1: he sounds that's your insider there inside. I just feel
- 6:31Speaker 1: like if you're putting up pope odds, that's a quick
- 6:34Speaker 1: trip to where you don't want to go.
- 6:35Speaker 3: And then and then you're telling me that you should.
- 6:37Speaker 1: Be gambling church. You know I love gambling, but also
- 6:43Speaker 1: I'm not running for head of the Catholic Church. What
- 6:45Speaker 1: are you saying?
- 6:46Speaker 3: So like the whole process, right, like the black smoke,
- 6:48Speaker 3: white smoke, Yeah, so what what is that?
- 6:50Speaker 1: So they will come together and they will vote at
- 6:54Speaker 1: the end of every day, every couple of days, whatever
- 6:57Speaker 1: the time is, and if it's not two thirds, they
- 7:00Speaker 1: send a sign out through the chimney of black smoke.
- 7:03Speaker 1: If they do not have an answer. Not if there's
- 7:05Speaker 1: a white pope or black pope, that'd be hilarious. White
- 7:11Speaker 1: smoke again, great, it looks like bazoonga one the black smoke. No,
- 7:17Speaker 1: black smoke means they haven't reached a decision, and white
- 7:21Speaker 1: smoke means they have reached a decision. And then the
- 7:24Speaker 1: new pope then walks out.
- 7:26Speaker 3: Not right then, but yeah, is it like, are they
- 7:29Speaker 3: burning something different or is it like a smoke bomb?
- 7:32Speaker 3: You probably don't have that answer.
- 7:33Speaker 1: Well, Mike, because they do this. I believe they burned
- 7:36Speaker 1: the ballots, So they burn the ballots, but there's also
- 7:39Speaker 1: something they burn differently whenever I think there's something in
- 7:44Speaker 1: the burning though, to make sure it's black and white.
- 7:46Speaker 1: They do burn the ballots to make sure nobody ever
- 7:48Speaker 1: looks at them, because those disappear.
- 7:49Speaker 3: Forever, because they got a double check, right, unless you could.
- 7:52Speaker 1: Get like a game used and put it in a card. Yeah,
- 7:59Speaker 1: get that great.
- 8:00Speaker 4: Needs So they mix it with some kind of tar
- 8:05Speaker 4: and that's the Blacksmi.
- 8:06Speaker 3: Yeah, makes sense.
- 8:07Speaker 1: There you go. So we're, uh, we're gonna see what
- 8:10Speaker 1: happened all right with the pope. Okay, a couple of things.
- 8:13Speaker 1: One you do not get to claim that you're calling
- 8:15Speaker 1: it if you're picking the favorite twin the whole tournament.
- 8:18Speaker 1: What do you mean the playoffs happening? Oklahoma City's big favorite.
- 8:21Speaker 1: Oklahoma's calling it right, that's not calling it if you're
- 8:23Speaker 1: picking the team that was already favored.
- 8:25Speaker 3: Yeah, but like they still I mean they're not guaranteed
- 8:28Speaker 3: to win a long ways.
- 8:31Speaker 1: Okay, so Eddie goes earlier. I'm calling it. Oklahoma City
- 8:33Speaker 1: is gonna. I'm like, that doesn't calling it. Oklahoma City
- 8:36Speaker 1: is a favorite to win.
- 8:38Speaker 3: It's like put it down in writing. I'm telling you,
- 8:40Speaker 3: okay see, well when the whole thing I'm telling you.
- 8:43Speaker 1: Today, okay, or you'll do what?
- 8:46Speaker 3: Oh yeah, yell.
- 8:50Speaker 1: I'm calling it with the bravado he has and it
- 8:54Speaker 1: be the favorite.
- 8:54Speaker 3: Are you calling it?
- 8:55Speaker 1: No? But I think Oklahoma City or Boston wins it.
- 9:00Speaker 1: But I'm not yelling either one of those teams wouldn't
- 9:03Speaker 1: be calling it Kevin's and Celtics at today, yep, because
- 9:06Speaker 1: those are the two teams expected to come from either side.
- 9:08Speaker 4: Yeah yeah, okay, Okay, See has had the best record
- 9:11Speaker 4: by far all year.
- 9:12Speaker 1: If I were to have to put money on it,
- 9:15Speaker 1: I want okay see to win because my family all
- 9:17Speaker 1: massive thunder fans. I have a Friendish that plays with Thunder.
- 9:22Speaker 1: I want them to win. But I would bet Boston
- 9:24Speaker 1: to win if we're just betting smart man experience. Jalen
- 9:27Speaker 1: Browns knee.
- 9:29Speaker 4: He looked all right though.
- 9:30Speaker 1: I agree, so I think that that factors in. But
- 9:33Speaker 1: I would bet on Boston. They've been there and they're
- 9:36Speaker 1: extremely talented. So it's both they have experience and the
- 9:39Speaker 1: guys are still good and young. Yeah, injury porzingis is fine.
- 9:42Speaker 1: He gets hurt every five minutes, but for now. Yeah,
- 9:45Speaker 1: but you don't get to claim I'm calling it if
- 9:47Speaker 1: you're picking the favor. No.
- 9:48Speaker 3: No, if you guys can come up with a good
- 9:51Speaker 3: like prize slash punishment, I might play that a prize.
- 9:56Speaker 1: Ye. I don't want to root against.
- 9:57Speaker 3: You, though, Okay, that's fair, so you're my friend.
- 10:00Speaker 1: I'm calling it means you've declared it. You don't win anything,
- 10:04Speaker 1: just you lose. If you're calling it boldly. Your win
- 10:09Speaker 1: is we get to accept that you called it. That's
- 10:11Speaker 1: your win, but your loss is.
- 10:13Speaker 3: It's not much of a win, but it does look
- 10:16Speaker 3: cool when you call it like way early but then again,
- 10:18Speaker 3: like you said, it's a favorite.
- 10:19Speaker 1: Your losses, you have to wear a lady's thong under
- 10:23Speaker 1: your pants the two episodes of the week.
- 10:26Speaker 3: What do you mean under my pants? Like as under
- 10:27Speaker 3: as underwear.
- 10:28Speaker 4: It's got to be sticking out.
- 10:29Speaker 3: What's he doing right now?
- 10:30Speaker 1: Though?
- 10:32Speaker 3: So I got to bend over in places.
- 10:36Speaker 1: Or I just I can't. That's it. I might.
- 10:43Speaker 3: I might sign on to that.
- 10:44Speaker 1: Now it's on.
- 10:45Speaker 4: You're calling it, I'll call it.
- 10:48Speaker 1: Okay, I'll call.
- 10:49Speaker 3: It, and if they don't, if they don't, win, give
- 10:52Speaker 3: me the thong.
- 10:52Speaker 1: You'll be wearing a thong, yes, for a week, well
- 10:55Speaker 1: for the two episodes we do here. You'll get into
- 10:57Speaker 1: a week and it's gross. He's like, he's like for
- 11:02Speaker 1: a month. I forget to take it off the whole year,
- 11:08Speaker 1: all of twenty twenty five.
- 11:09Speaker 3: Okay, I got this.
- 11:12Speaker 1: Okay, so Eddie called it, called it, but now we'll
- 11:15Speaker 1: respect it. Hey man, Wow, good for you called it.
- 11:17Speaker 3: Yes, yeah, yeah, like I shouldn't have a crown or
- 11:20Speaker 3: something like. I called it.
- 11:21Speaker 1: Yeah, good for you, man, so did everybody else. But
- 11:24Speaker 1: but we will respect it now because if you lose
- 11:27Speaker 1: a call, you have to pay the punishment got it
- 11:29Speaker 1: an update. I texted Bill's self, the head basketball coach
- 11:34Speaker 1: of Kansas, so rewind. One of his attorneys listens to
- 11:40Speaker 1: the show and was like, hey, why don't you guys
- 11:43Speaker 1: ever go to Kansas basically, and I said, well, we've
- 11:45Speaker 1: been everywhere else, but Kansas was kind of one of
- 11:47Speaker 1: the schools that we couldn't get any feedback from. And
- 11:50Speaker 1: he's like, well, I know Bill's self, I'll work with him.
- 11:52Speaker 1: I'll ask him. He does. He messages me and goes,
- 11:56Speaker 1: here's Bill's number. Text him, and so I'm like, all right,
- 12:00Speaker 1: I didn't. I was nervous about what do you text them? Hey? Bill?
- 12:04Speaker 3: Yeah, Hey Willie me Bobby.
- 12:06Speaker 1: What's up Willie? I know you're portling right now. Thought
- 12:08Speaker 1: i'd say what's up? And so I wait like a
- 12:12Speaker 1: week and I text Bill self and I'm like, hey,
- 12:15Speaker 1: we'd love to come up. That's basically it's like, hey,
- 12:19Speaker 1: hey Bill, Yeah, yeah, I can find it. I didn't
- 12:22Speaker 1: save his name on my phone, so I have to
- 12:24Speaker 1: search the message.
- 12:26Speaker 3: And why didn't you save his name?
- 12:27Speaker 1: Because I don't ever want to have it on my
- 12:29Speaker 1: phone and call him or I don't get drunk. But
- 12:32Speaker 1: if I do ever get drunk. I'm afraid I call it,
- 12:33Speaker 1: He'll say, because you don't drink. So here's my message, Jim,
- 12:36Speaker 1: I'll read it exactly. Hey, Bill, Bobby Bel's here. I
- 12:38Speaker 1: do a national radio show. We're talking with Blank your
- 12:42Speaker 1: one of your attorneys. He said, reach out. We travel
- 12:44Speaker 1: all around and talk with coaches, shoot around the facility,
- 12:46Speaker 1: et cetera. We'd love to come up to Lawrence this summer.
- 12:49Speaker 1: We'll make this text too long. I hope you will.
- 12:52Speaker 1: It's nice, perfect, it's fine, right, like what is stockery?
- 12:55Speaker 1: And I sent that on April tenth, twelve days ago.
- 13:00Speaker 1: No response, Oh my goodness.
- 13:02Speaker 3: And I'm sure he doesn't have red receipts on that
- 13:04Speaker 3: does he?
- 13:06Speaker 1: No?
- 13:06Speaker 3: Delivered only delivered only so well, he's thinking, he's thinking
- 13:10Speaker 3: on it, and it's just kind of like, you know,
- 13:12Speaker 3: seeing like let me see maybe doing his research.
- 13:15Speaker 1: I think we can go and like spend time getting
- 13:17Speaker 1: kids out of the portal. I can respond to Bobby,
- 13:21Speaker 1: so I don't have a response if he doesn't respond,
- 13:25Speaker 1: all good out there circling back here, do I say that?
- 13:30Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 13:30Speaker 1: Oh I hate the circle, but to be fair, sometimes
- 13:33Speaker 1: people circle back with me and I have literally forgot
- 13:35Speaker 1: to text back, and I'm so happy they did, but
- 13:37Speaker 1: I hate being circling back.
- 13:39Speaker 3: Guy, Could you just double tap your original message with
- 13:42Speaker 3: a question mark?
- 13:43Speaker 1: Oh, that's passive aggress that's too much, Like what the
- 13:49Speaker 1: that's passive? That's ballsy?
- 13:52Speaker 4: Did you get that legit?
- 13:53Speaker 1: Tho? That is legit, legit? But that's ballsy?
- 13:57Speaker 3: Is it a question mark or excelamentation?
- 13:58Speaker 1: Question or I just switch it question mark our hour
- 14:03Speaker 1: yet heart hour? Popping them over? Yeah with all those Yeah,
- 14:08Speaker 1: that's ballsy. Okay, but go a lot today. Anybody but
- 14:13Speaker 1: me watch WrestleMania. I did, Casey did, Thank god I did.
- 14:16Speaker 1: Mike did. Yeah, I knew Mike did.
- 14:18Speaker 3: Usual Suspects.
- 14:19Speaker 1: Yeah, you guys, you're just missing out.
- 14:22Speaker 5: You need that triple threat match from the first day
- 14:25Speaker 5: was like so epic.
- 14:26Speaker 1: You guys need to have k fabe, you know, and
- 14:28Speaker 1: just roll what does that mean?
- 14:29Speaker 3: K fabe?
- 14:30Speaker 1: Look it up because then you'll remember it and you
- 14:32Speaker 1: can explain it to the room that doesn't know what
- 14:33Speaker 1: k fabe is. K y fab it was I thought WrestleMania.
- 14:39Speaker 1: It's because WrestleMania is the biggest wrestling event of the
- 14:41Speaker 1: year period it's two nights, and it was in Vegas
- 14:43Speaker 1: and it was over sixty thousand each night, one Saturday night,
- 14:46Speaker 1: one Sunday night to night WrestleMania. I don't love it
- 14:48Speaker 1: that it's two nights, honestly, but I do understand why
- 14:50Speaker 1: it's two nights because people will be there and show
- 14:52Speaker 1: up and I'll watch both nights. And it was sold
- 14:54Speaker 1: out and it was yeah, yeah, so I get it.
- 14:56Speaker 1: The triple threat match was awesome. I know we're a
- 14:58Speaker 1: couple of days behind, but we can talk about yesterday.
- 15:00Speaker 1: We didn't do a show yesterday because there was a
- 15:03Speaker 1: personal issue with someone on the show and so we
- 15:04Speaker 1: weren't able to record.
- 15:06Speaker 8: That.
- 15:06Speaker 1: Being said, the because seth Rawlins was on our show. Yeah,
- 15:11Speaker 1: we should play that at the end. We should play
- 15:13Speaker 1: that again, Mike, can we get that on?
- 15:14Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 15:14Speaker 1: So seth Rawlins ends up one of the triple threat
- 15:18Speaker 1: match against Roman Reigns and CM Punk, who I think
- 15:21Speaker 1: Sampunk is now my new favorite. He's been around forever.
- 15:24Speaker 1: That Cult of Personality entrance was awesome live band.
- 15:27Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 15:28Speaker 1: I just want him to win a title before he
- 15:31Speaker 1: goes away. And I didn't spend a lot of time
- 15:33Speaker 1: with him because I got out of wrestling for when
- 15:35Speaker 1: he really came on. Yeh, but he like wanted to
- 15:39Speaker 1: main event WrestleMania finally got it. He lost and he
- 15:43Speaker 1: lost the Royal Rumble, Like I really am pulling for
- 15:46Speaker 1: CM punk. Yeah, and he's older.
- 15:48Speaker 5: He was portrayed by him.
- 15:49Speaker 1: And again, man, I don't know how old Sampunk is.
- 15:51Speaker 1: I bet he's got to be in his forties. What'd
- 15:53Speaker 1: you find outbout kfa Betty Kfabe.
- 15:56Speaker 3: It's the practice of maintaining the illusion that matches characters
- 15:59Speaker 3: and storylines are real even though they are scripted and staged.
- 16:04Speaker 1: And you can talk about that there's a creative team
- 16:07Speaker 1: writing the stories. We talked about with Sean Michaels, and
- 16:11Speaker 1: I was thinking about that Sean Michael's interview because we
- 16:14Speaker 1: didn't ask him to stay. Actually, I was ending the
- 16:16Speaker 1: interview and he was like, Hey, I just want to
- 16:17Speaker 1: say that was great. So I'm curious as to what
- 16:19Speaker 1: about our interview was different. And he was like, well,
- 16:22Speaker 1: you talked about it on both sides, and I think
- 16:25Speaker 1: you have people that will just be like, well, it's
- 16:27Speaker 1: not real, so you know, does it hurt? And then
- 16:30Speaker 1: you have people that won't even talk about that. It's
- 16:31Speaker 1: not really be like why do you hate him?
- 16:34Speaker 6: What?
- 16:34Speaker 1: I think? Because I'm in entertainment and I do music
- 16:38Speaker 1: and stand up and radio and write, Like, I'm curious
- 16:42Speaker 1: about that part of it very much so, while also
- 16:47Speaker 1: maintaining k fabe for while it's on.
- 16:52Speaker 3: Is k fabe an acronym or is that just a
- 16:54Speaker 3: made up word?
- 16:55Speaker 1: He's more like a verb.
- 16:57Speaker 3: Oh, k faban just a word?
- 17:01Speaker 1: Yeah, we have K. I don't know. Maybe it's a
- 17:02Speaker 1: I don't know. That's a good question.
- 17:04Speaker 3: But you know what, Like the more I think about it,
- 17:06Speaker 3: because I'm not a wrestling fan, I don't The last
- 17:08Speaker 3: time I watched wrestling, watched watched was probably like hul Cogan,
- 17:11Speaker 3: WWEH or WWF. But like it's kind of watching a movie.
- 17:17Speaker 1: It's for sure fiction, except as I get older it
- 17:20Speaker 1: makes me more uncomfortable to watch how hard they hit
- 17:23Speaker 1: because the fot to two is over three hundred pounds
- 17:27Speaker 1: and he's doing full backflips three hundred pounds. That's heavy
- 17:31Speaker 1: full backflips off the top rope and landing and right.
- 17:35Speaker 1: The stories are scripted and they're doing things to make
- 17:39Speaker 1: sure they don't get terribly injured. But you can't control
- 17:42Speaker 1: all of that, right because you have two hundred and
- 17:45Speaker 1: thirty plus pound bodies slamming into each other, and there
- 17:48Speaker 1: are gonna be accidents, and even the things that aren't
- 17:51Speaker 1: accidents still hurt. At times you can just tell they
- 17:53Speaker 1: just have to take the bomps. So it makes me
- 17:55Speaker 1: uncomfortable when they're like doing backflips out onto the cement floor,
- 17:59Speaker 1: their body slamming on the cement floor, that triple threat
- 18:01Speaker 1: they go out into into the crowd and they're slamming
- 18:05Speaker 1: each other on the floor and great, you get your
- 18:07Speaker 1: feet down early. That crap still hurts. Yeah, it makes
- 18:11Speaker 1: me uncomfortable going, oh man, I hope somebody doesn't get hurt.
- 18:13Speaker 1: I'm a mom now watching and I'm like, don't get hurt.
- 18:16Speaker 4: Worried about their ankles while they're jumping out. Yeah, oh man,
- 18:19Speaker 4: you could just easily hurt something.
- 18:21Speaker 1: In the Charlotte Flair Tiffany Stratton match, there she shifted
- 18:25Speaker 1: tooth and busted her head.
- 18:26Speaker 5: I wasn't sure if that was Yeah, yeah, that was real.
- 18:28Speaker 3: Charlotte is Rick's daughter.
- 18:30Speaker 1: Yes, yeah, and she's like one of the greats female wise,
- 18:34Speaker 1: So WrestleMania two Nights. Thought it was good. I didn't.
- 18:40Speaker 1: I did not like how it ended with Sina. I
- 18:43Speaker 1: didn't love it, but I didn't not like it. But
- 18:45Speaker 1: they still hold on to the same principles of cheating
- 18:49Speaker 1: they did in the eighties. Somebody comes from out under
- 18:53Speaker 1: the ring and hit somebody, or somebody holds them down.
- 18:56Speaker 1: So a lot of that is still there, but they're
- 18:57Speaker 1: putting there there. They put the trailer up of a
- 19:00Speaker 1: new show on Netflix that goes into the writing room.
- 19:03Speaker 3: That's cool.
- 19:04Speaker 1: Yeah, and so and Triple H is basically running the
- 19:07Speaker 1: WWE now, but and he's head of creative and Sean
- 19:11Speaker 1: Michaels is ahead of like NXT and Career, So all
- 19:14Speaker 1: these guys are there. But they go into the writing
- 19:16Speaker 1: room and how they create all the storylines for these people.
- 19:18Speaker 1: It's the first time they've ever been so open with it.
- 19:20Speaker 1: I'm excited about that series.
- 19:22Speaker 3: It's called Unreal ten episodes.
- 19:24Speaker 1: Any idea when that comes out? Mike says, summer. Okay.
- 19:28Speaker 1: That's cool to me because I can do both. I
- 19:30Speaker 1: can watch it and just root because I'm watching same
- 19:32Speaker 1: one watching a movie or a television show. I root
- 19:34Speaker 1: for those people, even though I know it's not real, right,
- 19:36Speaker 1: but this thing is live and they can really get hurt. Yeah,
- 19:39Speaker 1: Like they use stuntman in the shows. They got the
- 19:43Speaker 1: actors and then the stuntman and then we don't even
- 19:45Speaker 1: see when they mess up. This is all live, so
- 19:46Speaker 1: if they mess up, we see it, and they're not
- 19:47Speaker 1: using stuntman. So yeah, it's pretty cool. My wife is
- 19:52Speaker 1: like watching that play again, I'm like, it's not a
- 19:54Speaker 1: punnet and then I start defensive, even though I don't
- 19:57Speaker 1: even care.
- 19:57Speaker 3: That's like, it doesn't even does. She watching any of
- 19:59Speaker 3: it with no no, and.
- 20:01Speaker 1: She doesn't think it's stupid, but she's like it's all scripted, right.
- 20:03Speaker 1: I'm like yeah, but and I'll start to talk and
- 20:06Speaker 1: then she's just like I'm good.
- 20:07Speaker 3: She walks away.
- 20:08Speaker 9: Like my wife was laughing at me, like I watch anime,
- 20:11Speaker 9: I watch the nerdy things, but this she just couldn't
- 20:13Speaker 9: get over. She's like, it's it's fake, Like why are
- 20:14Speaker 9: you watching this?
- 20:15Speaker 3: They look so stupid.
- 20:16Speaker 1: I'm like, you don't get it. Yeah. It triggers me
- 20:18Speaker 1: now when people say fake because of how the real
- 20:20Speaker 1: things that they have to do to make the scripted
- 20:23Speaker 1: story come true and that so that because what they're
- 20:28Speaker 1: doing out there, for the most part not fake. The
- 20:32Speaker 1: hits aren't real because also too back in the day,
- 20:37Speaker 1: even like ten years ago, they could use camera angles
- 20:40Speaker 1: to keep you from seeing the small things you weren't
- 20:43Speaker 1: supposed to see. The rest of us talking to each other,
- 20:46Speaker 1: the the kicks not landing, No, not so much blood.
- 20:51Speaker 1: I mean they could cut themselves, but they would usually
- 20:53Speaker 1: do that underneath they.
- 20:55Speaker 3: Would get something and well the Brazs blade. Yeah, they
- 20:57Speaker 3: actually cut themselves, oh on the forehead.
- 20:59Speaker 1: Yeah. And so now you saw Sena go again and Cody, yeah,
- 21:07Speaker 1: Cody Roads to punch him beginning again. Now he's not
- 21:10Speaker 1: going again. But because there are phones everywhere, they're not
- 21:13Speaker 1: really hiding from angles anymore. They're they're doing it. But
- 21:18Speaker 1: they also know people know, they know people are in
- 21:22Speaker 1: k fabe, and they just are like you guys, you're
- 21:24Speaker 1: in with us. So you see Cody Roads punch Sena
- 21:27Speaker 1: in the Championship, and you see the world title match,
- 21:30Speaker 1: and you see seeing it go again boom again, boom,
- 21:34Speaker 1: and then seeing it then comes back again. So yeah,
- 21:36Speaker 1: it's fiction, but it's a very real fiction.
- 21:40Speaker 3: Let me ask you this though, go ahead, Is it
- 21:41Speaker 3: a sport.
- 21:42Speaker 1: No, it's sports entertainment because it's scripted. Outcomes are scripted.
- 21:46Speaker 3: Because I think that's maybe some people.
- 21:47Speaker 1: Wrestling is a sport. Collegiate wrestling is a sport. Yeah,
- 21:51Speaker 1: you can't be scripted to be a sport.
- 21:53Speaker 3: I think that's where people get a little confused by it.
- 21:55Speaker 1: No, there's no confusion. I don't think anybody's confused by it.
- 21:57Speaker 3: Because, like you watch just a ring and people fighting, right,
- 22:00Speaker 3: you c u f C sport, not scripted, boxing sport,
- 22:04Speaker 3: not well rigged, but not scripted. True, But you look
- 22:09Speaker 3: at wrestling. Oh, guys in a ring fighting sport. Wait
- 22:12Speaker 3: a minute, nobody sport. Literally nobody thinks sport. And no
- 22:15Speaker 3: because you can't bet on it either. But they are
- 22:16Speaker 3: athletes absolutely, yeah, absolutely, or stuntman okay, yeah yeah, sure, golfers,
- 22:23Speaker 3: which is weird.
- 22:24Speaker 1: We're not arguing that.
- 22:26Speaker 4: He's just going.
- 22:29Speaker 1: He's filling around for the West spot. He's just trying
- 22:32Speaker 1: to fight. Uh So, yeah, you guys don't watch it,
- 22:35Speaker 1: but Casey and Mike did. What would you give it over, Mike,
- 22:38Speaker 1: what would you grade both nights? Both?
- 22:40Speaker 9: I don't like it being two nights, like you don't
- 22:41Speaker 9: like it being two nights. I would give it a
- 22:43Speaker 9: B plus.
- 22:44Speaker 3: Casey, I thought it was.
- 22:45Speaker 5: It was the best one in recent memory for me
- 22:48Speaker 5: for sure. Just live, love the atmosphere.
- 22:50Speaker 3: I'll give it a.
- 22:51Speaker 5: I'll give it a nine out of ten, give it
- 22:53Speaker 5: night because I think the scene.
- 22:54Speaker 1: Of little Raids and Mike goes B plus and you
- 22:57Speaker 1: go nine. Like my, I'm like, how many miles? He's
- 23:02Speaker 1: like four kilometers? I know, all right?
- 23:04Speaker 5: As Yeah, I'll give it a B plus as well.
- 23:07Speaker 1: I thought it was good. It's they shouldn't do it
- 23:10Speaker 1: in Vegas. I understand why they do it in Vegas.
- 23:11Speaker 1: It's easy for everybody to get to. But Vegas with events,
- 23:15Speaker 1: it's kind of like Nashville with concerts. Everybody there's kind
- 23:19Speaker 1: of jaded because everything around them is just flashing money
- 23:22Speaker 1: big So another flashy money big things come out there. Yeah,
- 23:27Speaker 1: what's really cool now that they do because if a
- 23:31Speaker 1: match is happening and it kind of sucks, the crowd
- 23:34Speaker 1: will let you know it. But what they do now
- 23:36Speaker 1: is if two guys are killing it and really giving it,
- 23:39Speaker 1: they're all like really putting their bodies on the line,
- 23:41Speaker 1: and the crowd will just start going this is awesome
- 23:45Speaker 1: in the middle of a match. That's like the ultimate
- 23:47Speaker 1: compliment from a crowd because that means the guys are
- 23:50Speaker 1: freaking selling it.
- 23:51Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 23:52Speaker 1: So yeah, I can't wait for the series. And I
- 23:56Speaker 1: saw I'll end with this. I saw Sina on Raw
- 24:00Speaker 1: last night. Got uh r k O bombed in last night?
- 24:11Speaker 3: Oh really? Yeah?
- 24:12Speaker 1: Came out from under the ring.
- 24:14Speaker 4: Oh he's hiding another Yeah do you know who that is?
- 24:17Speaker 3: No, No Batista is baseball player.
- 24:22Speaker 1: No, Randy or is the wrestler, and he the r
- 24:28Speaker 1: k O is kind of like the stunner. They're all
- 24:30Speaker 1: like the same but different, just slightly different. He came
- 24:32Speaker 1: out from under the ring. Randy Orton won against uh
- 24:37Speaker 1: Henry Hendry I believe, and Joe Hendry.
- 24:41Speaker 3: I don't know any of these. What's Raw is just
- 24:44Speaker 3: a regular fight.
- 24:45Speaker 1: No Monday now Netflix, y on Netflix.
- 24:49Speaker 3: Okay, that's live.
- 24:50Speaker 1: Done with wrestling.
- 24:52Speaker 3: When is the next fight? I might give it a shot.
- 24:54Speaker 1: It's not a fight. There is a I think they
- 24:59Speaker 1: call him premiere event. Like again, I'm old with the
- 25:03Speaker 1: super lingo. I'm not an.
- 25:06Speaker 5: Expert, Sam.
- 25:08Speaker 1: Yeah, I am a B fan, used to be a
- 25:11Speaker 1: PLUS fan, So I'm not even act like the expert.
- 25:14Speaker 1: But they call them like they're not even paper views anymore.
- 25:17Speaker 1: But you can watch them on peacock.
- 25:18Speaker 3: Yeah, oh that's cool.
- 25:20Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 25:20Speaker 1: And so the next one is called like eating gibberisious.
- 25:24Speaker 1: I forget that's called I remember they got one killing
- 25:27Speaker 1: up they want going up? Uh? Okay, done with that, wrestling,
- 25:30Speaker 1: got they covered, got Bill self covered? Okay, gonna do
- 25:34Speaker 1: draft for a second. I got a game for the
- 25:37Speaker 1: draft too. By the way, Eddie, who do you want
- 25:39Speaker 1: the Cowboys to draft? What do you get? Twelve?
- 25:41Speaker 3: Yeah? Twelve? I would like for like you're nexting gent
- 25:46Speaker 3: to fall in her lap? Maybe trade up for him?
- 25:49Speaker 3: I don't know, I don't. I don't think we have
- 25:50Speaker 3: anything else to trade really, like maybe a trade.
- 25:54Speaker 1: Don't don't trade. Who do you want at twelve? Do
- 25:58Speaker 1: you want a running back?
- 25:59Speaker 3: Yeah? I think our running backs are key position.
- 26:01Speaker 1: I think, oh, yeah, you're running back. Rip's terrible. Yep.
- 26:03Speaker 1: I think he'll probably be drafted before that. Yeah. But
- 26:07Speaker 1: then Scatabo then but I mean the Hampton the kid
- 26:10Speaker 1: is in North Carolina too, scat you went, Scatterbo.
- 26:16Speaker 3: I was just joking.
- 26:17Speaker 1: Edite wants a white running back, like I want a
- 26:19Speaker 1: black pope is crazy though, dude, yeah he crazy, Yeah,
- 26:25Speaker 1: crazy right. I'm gonna do a draft game in a second.
- 26:31Speaker 1: But first, the NBA eighty two game grind is done.
- 26:35Speaker 1: Now the real fun begins. The NBA Playoffs are here

- 27:47Speaker 4: Oh episode nice?
- 27:49Speaker 1: Yes, as of now, I did see where that was confirmed.
- 27:52Speaker 1: Did you guys get the confirmation yet?
- 27:54Speaker 11: No?
- 27:54Speaker 1: You then it's only semi confirmed because it's never fully
- 27:56Speaker 1: confirmed until it goes to you guys and we time it.
- 27:58Speaker 1: But we should have Joe Flack coming up. That's which
- 28:02Speaker 1: is cool. Here's the game. I'm gonna give you a
- 28:11Speaker 1: player and tell you when they were drafted and what
- 28:13Speaker 1: team they were drafted to, and give you a little
- 28:14Speaker 1: bit about them, and you tell me if it was
- 28:16Speaker 1: a real player.
- 28:16Speaker 3: A fake player.
- 28:18Speaker 4: I love this good.
- 28:20Speaker 1: All right, Eddie, You're up first, all right? And for
- 28:26Speaker 1: the most part these will there be players that kind
- 28:28Speaker 1: of busted who we won't know their names because I
- 28:30Speaker 1: can't give you Sam Bradford.
- 28:34Speaker 3: You're gonna know that, that is right.
- 28:36Speaker 1: So, but some of these busts or some of the
- 28:38Speaker 1: guys that only are like second string guys, the occasional starter,
- 28:41Speaker 1: we don't even remember. It's like basketball. You look back
- 28:43Speaker 1: seven years ago with the draft. Half the guys won
- 28:45Speaker 1: the first round. You don't even remember them. Yeah, up first.
- 28:50Speaker 1: Jarvis Jefferson, wide receiver, Clemson in two thousand and ninety,
- 28:53Speaker 1: went round two to the Carolina Panthers. Jarvis Jefferson ran
- 28:57Speaker 1: a four point three three forty the combine. They compared
- 29:01Speaker 1: him to Steve Smith. We had character concerns and a
- 29:03Speaker 1: limited route tree. Jarvis Jefferson, wide receiver, Clemson reel or fake.
- 29:09Speaker 3: I remember when he was drafted like it was yesterday.
- 29:11Speaker 3: And Jarvis is one hundred.
- 29:12Speaker 1: Real Jarvis, it's fake. No record, no record of Jarvis
- 29:20Speaker 1: Jefferson in college.
- 29:22Speaker 11: Man.
- 29:22Speaker 1: No, but that is a fast name.
- 29:25Speaker 3: Dang, Jarvis Jefferson.
- 29:26Speaker 4: Yeah, I was thinking, justin Jefferson.
- 29:29Speaker 1: I was like, okay, well that's why did that.
- 29:33Speaker 3: Panthers select Jarvis Jefferson, Lamar Chase.
- 29:40Speaker 1: So close read oh yeah, here we go, and everybody
- 29:43Speaker 1: just if you know it, just everybody be quiet. If
- 29:46Speaker 1: you don't know what, everybody be quiet. I don't want
- 29:48Speaker 1: to put read onto anything. Read you ready, I'm ready.
- 29:52Speaker 1: Achille Smith quarterback, Oregon nineteen ninety nine. Achilles Smith third
- 29:57Speaker 1: overall pick, round one for the Cincinnati Bengals. Big arm,
- 30:02Speaker 1: explosive at Oregon, but started only seventeen games in his
- 30:06Speaker 1: NFL career, and Achille Smith was actually drafted over Ricky Williams,
- 30:11Speaker 1: Edrin James, and Champ Bailey. Wow.
- 30:14Speaker 7: I feel like Achilles is like almost too wild to
- 30:17Speaker 7: not be.
- 30:18Speaker 1: His name is not Achilles, It's it's Achille Smith.
- 30:21Speaker 7: Achille Smith. Oh, it's not Achilles.
- 30:24Speaker 1: It's not Achilles singular. The Achille Smith quarterback Oregon, Achille Smith.
- 30:30Speaker 11: Yeah, that's yeah, for sure. That's that's a dude right there.
- 30:34Speaker 11: That's a real man, Eddie.
- 30:37Speaker 1: What do you think?
- 30:37Speaker 3: I think false?
- 30:40Speaker 1: Are you serious? This is like one of the biggest
- 30:42Speaker 1: draft bus of all time? That's real?
- 30:44Speaker 8: Really?
- 30:44Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 30:47Speaker 1: Yeah, like, that's a real one thing again, drafting them
- 30:52Speaker 1: over Ricky Williams, Edgrin James and Champ Bailey. It is
- 30:54Speaker 1: one of the most painful misses in Bengals histories.
- 30:56Speaker 3: A quarterback, he was.
- 30:59Speaker 1: I know you knew that. I didn't know he went
- 31:00Speaker 1: to Oregon though I did not know. You knew I knew. Yeah, Brandon, Joe,
- 31:03Speaker 1: that line okay, okay, good for being look at band
- 31:06Speaker 1: of being honest with heasily said he yes, of course, Casey,
- 31:10Speaker 1: all right, let's do this. Darnell Hastings cornerback, Nebraska in
- 31:15Speaker 1: two thousand and six, Round one of the New York Jets.
- 31:18Speaker 1: That's your team. I personally put this here. He was
- 31:21Speaker 1: a shutdown corner in college, known for his trash talk
- 31:24Speaker 1: and risky play style. Darnell Hastings, cornerback, Nebraska, two thousand
- 31:27Speaker 1: and six.
- 31:29Speaker 5: I'm gonna say that he is not a real person.
- 31:31Speaker 1: You do not remember him.
- 31:32Speaker 5: I do not remember him.
- 31:36Speaker 1: Correct. I gave him Jets on purpose to make him
- 31:41Speaker 1: think as little tight butthole familiar though Lamar Chase, Yeah,
- 31:53Speaker 1: Kevin go. Sheldon Hines defensive end, Mississippi State in twenty eleven.
- 32:02Speaker 1: Sheldon Hines was drafted by the Jacksonville Jaguars. He was
- 32:05Speaker 1: an undersized edge rusher with a quick first step. He
- 32:09Speaker 1: had a standout combine MISSUS Pro Day. Wasn't expected to
- 32:15Speaker 1: go as high, but because his combine stats were so high,
- 32:19Speaker 1: went in the third round. Sheldon Hines defensive inn Mississippi State,
- 32:23Speaker 1: twenty eleven, third round.
- 32:24Speaker 4: So the jack who'd you say, jack Jackson oh Man,
- 32:26Speaker 4: do you remember anybody the Jaguars drafted?
- 32:28Speaker 3: I know, don't be disrespectful.
- 32:33Speaker 4: I'm gonna go with that is not a real person.
- 32:37Speaker 1: You're going fake on Sheldon Hines.
- 32:38Speaker 4: Fake on Sheldon Hines.
- 32:42Speaker 1: Sheldon Hines is really fake.
- 32:49Speaker 4: The Jackuars. Let's throw it off.
- 32:52Speaker 1: Brandon Ray, the singer of our theme song. Vernon Goldston
- 33:00Speaker 1: defensive end, Ohio State in two thousand and eight, first round,
- 33:05Speaker 1: sixth overall pick, New York Jets. Freakish strength, very fast,
- 33:12Speaker 1: did thirty seven reps of two twenty five on bench,
- 33:17Speaker 1: had no sacks in three seasons though Vernon Golston, Brandon.
- 33:21Speaker 4: I have a Vernon Golston's rookie card.
- 33:23Speaker 3: That is a real person.
- 33:25Speaker 1: Are you serious? Yeah, that's true. Let's go one of
- 33:30Speaker 1: the most famous combine Warriors ever, but never registered a
- 33:32Speaker 1: single sack in the NFL.
- 33:34Speaker 4: And thanks Graham on his arm?
- 33:36Speaker 1: Who got theirs? Right me? Brandonie, I'm gonna go back
- 33:41Speaker 1: to you have one more?
- 33:42Speaker 3: Harvis Jefferson got me Harvis.
- 33:45Speaker 1: Well, I did seven for seven rounds. You have to
- 33:47Speaker 1: get this so you don't get drafted. They all get drafted.
- 33:51Speaker 3: Are going to selling cars? Yeah?
- 33:53Speaker 1: Are coaching assurance. Keelan Monroe linebacker, USC, twenty twelve, Round two,
- 34:02Speaker 1: Tennessee Titans. Oh. He was a sideline to sideline athlete
- 34:07Speaker 1: known for special teams hustle played a lot of special teams,
- 34:11Speaker 1: but really didn't mature past that. Some teams question his
- 34:15Speaker 1: football IQ. Keeler Monroe, linebacker, USC, twenty twelve, Round two,
- 34:20Speaker 1: Tennessee Titans, Real or fake?
- 34:22Speaker 3: For no IQ? I want to say, 's fake?
- 34:28Speaker 1: Man?
- 34:28Speaker 3: You're making that up? Is he real?
- 34:32Speaker 1: Real? Please?
- 34:33Speaker 3: You guys know him?
- 34:34Speaker 1: Does anybody want to vouch for Keeler Monroe?
- 34:38Speaker 5: Now, broom like it was yesterday.
- 34:40Speaker 1: No rookie cards out there, Keelan Monroe, Come on, fake?
- 34:46Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 34:51Speaker 1: Kee Monroe does not exist. Never played us, He never drafted,
- 34:54Speaker 1: so he did have good IQ. He had no IQ zero.
- 34:58Speaker 3: Did you come up with these?
- 34:59Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 35:00Speaker 4: It is really good Man.
- 35:01Speaker 1: I tried and I purposely went Titans on Eddie. I
- 35:04Speaker 1: gave you guys ones. I gave read the easiest one
- 35:07Speaker 1: because I know we knew the least about sports.
- 35:08Speaker 7: I love it.
- 35:09Speaker 3: I love it.
- 35:10Speaker 1: Kelly Smith's one of the bigger busts ever. I mean,
- 35:12Speaker 1: Ryan Lee probably the biggest bust ever really in football,
- 35:16Speaker 1: probably Marcus Russell. Yeah yeah, because JaMarcus Russo went number one.
- 35:21Speaker 1: Leif went after Peyton Manning.
- 35:24Speaker 5: Pet Manning or not?
- 35:25Speaker 1: Did he go before? I wasn't being Peyton Manning. Okay,
- 35:30Speaker 1: but the Peyton lost the Heisman, That's what it was.
- 35:32Speaker 1: That's what it was. And then Kelly Smith was a
- 35:35Speaker 1: bad one and I was a Bengals fan. That's a
- 35:37Speaker 1: bad one. Okay, good job.
- 35:40Speaker 3: You like that. That was fun? Yeah, that's fun. It
- 35:43Speaker 3: was glad I got to go.
- 35:44Speaker 11: Man.
- 35:44Speaker 1: I thought it was Achilles, did yeah read? It was
- 35:48Speaker 1: like logicing Achilles. Well, if his name is Achilles, you're
- 35:50Speaker 1: probably lying. The draft will be fun. We kind of know,
- 35:55Speaker 1: we for sure know number one Cam wored will go
- 35:57Speaker 1: number one to the Titans. We pretty much no number
- 36:00Speaker 1: two Travis Hunter almost certainly will go number two to
- 36:03Speaker 1: the Browns. The Giants are sitting at three. That's kind
- 36:06Speaker 1: of when it starts. I mean, I do think that
- 36:10Speaker 1: the Giants are again even though they don't need defense.
- 36:13Speaker 1: I think they're probably going to go defense. But the
- 36:17Speaker 1: Giants also could trade that pick as well.
- 36:19Speaker 5: Yeah, I think they're starting to field some calls.
- 36:21Speaker 1: I do too.
- 36:22Speaker 3: Yeah, So.
- 36:25Speaker 1: I think what everybody kind of wants to know is
- 36:27Speaker 1: where should Sanders is going to go? I think that's
- 36:29Speaker 1: the question. And two whereas JENTI gonna go? Like when's
- 36:32Speaker 1: the first running back gonna be picked? That's kind of whatever.
- 36:35Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 36:35Speaker 1: Other than that, we're just like, well, we're just along
- 36:38Speaker 1: for the ride, but we're kind of wondering, well, should
- 36:40Speaker 1: go to the Saints at nine? I don't have my
- 36:43Speaker 1: notes up, So Saints are at nine? Uh, and the
- 36:46Speaker 1: Saints haven't drafted a quarterback in the first round since
- 36:50Speaker 1: Drew arch Manning. Oh wow, long ago, yeah, fifty years. Yeah,
- 36:55Speaker 1: so's a lot if he doesn't go because Breeze no
- 37:00Speaker 1: notes here was a round two pick, well Chargers, Yeah exactly, yeah, yeah,
- 37:05Speaker 1: but I still believe he was a round two pick
- 37:07Speaker 1: even if he Yeah, so you may fact check me
- 37:12Speaker 1: on that before I get a listener yelling at me
- 37:14Speaker 1: because I could be wrong about that. Yeah, wors should
- 37:17Speaker 1: are going to go, probably to the Saints. The Steelers
- 37:21Speaker 1: would like to have a quarterback because we're still waiting
- 37:22Speaker 1: on Aaron Rodgers. What do you got?
- 37:25Speaker 4: It says round two thirty second overall. So that was
- 37:28Speaker 4: before the Texans. Maybe we're here his team.
- 37:30Speaker 1: Probably first pick a second round. Yeah, yeah, nice. I
- 37:32Speaker 1: love being right. I wasn't for sure. I was right
- 37:35Speaker 1: on the edge of it. I'm on the edge. So yeah,
- 37:39Speaker 1: where genty goes, it'd be fun if he went to
- 37:41Speaker 1: the Cowboys, and then works should goes. I think the
- 37:44Speaker 1: Steelers will try to trade up if if the Saints
- 37:47Speaker 1: don't take him, unless they can get up to an
- 37:49Speaker 1: eight or a seven because they're in the twenties. Steelers
- 37:51Speaker 1: are like twenty.
- 37:51Speaker 4: One to one. Yeah, don't take a lot.
- 37:53Speaker 1: That would take a lot. But what what's Aaron Rodgers
- 37:56Speaker 1: is going to do? And now I'm not saying Aaron
- 37:58Speaker 1: Rodgers is lying. I would like to say I'm not
- 38:01Speaker 1: saying Aaron Rodgers is lying, but it's always something with
- 38:03Speaker 1: Aaron Rodgers. And now the whole thing is Aaron Rodgers
- 38:06Speaker 1: hasn't picked a team because he has stuff in his
- 38:08Speaker 1: personal life going on. It's not that I don't believe him,
- 38:13Speaker 1: and it's not that people don't have personal stuff going on,
- 38:15Speaker 1: but when someone jerks you all directions all the years,
- 38:19Speaker 1: you start to question, am I being jerked again? It's
- 38:23Speaker 1: kind of a weird question, right, So I don't know
- 38:29Speaker 1: that the Steelers are offering him that job. We don't know.
- 38:34Speaker 1: We know the Jets said no thanks, and everybody got
- 38:36Speaker 1: all mad at the Jets. I'll stand up for your
- 38:38Speaker 1: team here.
- 38:39Speaker 5: Casey, yeah, thank you, please do.
- 38:40Speaker 1: Aaron Rodgers goes on McAfee and I was like, you know,
- 38:43Speaker 1: I flew over and I was in there for like
- 38:45Speaker 1: five minutes, and they were like, yeah, we're gonna move on.
- 38:47Speaker 1: Basically paraphrase is what he said. Imagine though, if they
- 38:50Speaker 1: had just called him or emailed him and said, hey, man,
- 38:52Speaker 1: we're gonna cut you, then it had been like, man,
- 38:54Speaker 1: the Jets works. Yeah, the Jets are losers. They can't
- 38:57Speaker 1: even tell you to your face. Yeah, So it was
- 39:00Speaker 1: kind of a no win.
- 39:02Speaker 5: Oh yeah, especially just because it's the Jets. But we
- 39:04Speaker 5: I know that that's not how it went down. You know,
- 39:07Speaker 5: I know, deep down, but you're.
- 39:08Speaker 1: Aaron Rodgers until the full truth.
- 39:10Speaker 3: You know, someone in there?
- 39:14Speaker 1: Who do you What do you guys want to do
- 39:16Speaker 1: for the draft?
- 39:17Speaker 5: Yeah, like Tyler Warren is what we're gonna who we're
- 39:21Speaker 5: gonna pick. I want Mason Graham though, but I don't
- 39:23Speaker 5: think we're gonna get him because I think Jacksonville's gonna
- 39:25Speaker 5: scoop him up.
- 39:25Speaker 1: Mason Graham was awesome. Yeah, so, but there's some quarterback talk.
- 39:31Speaker 5: Chador, right, that would be the most jet thing to do.
- 39:35Speaker 5: I feel like, get Chador at seven, even though I
- 39:37Speaker 5: feel like we need so many other things right now.
- 39:39Speaker 1: But don't you know, but if you get a good quarterback,
- 39:41Speaker 1: isn't that the hardest. That's why Cam Woreon is going one.
- 39:44Speaker 1: He is not the best player in the draft. He's
- 39:46Speaker 1: not even what they would call a blue chip I
- 39:51Speaker 1: don't know what you call like a drafted.
- 39:53Speaker 5: One of the guys Trevor Lawrence.
- 39:55Speaker 1: Yeah, he's not.
- 39:55Speaker 4: He's not even that cornerstone franchise.
- 39:58Speaker 1: Yeah, he's a good quarterback. I think he everybody that
- 40:00Speaker 1: I'm reading that he gets comped with was Bow Knicks,
- 40:02Speaker 1: Like if he had come out last year and bow
- 40:04Speaker 1: Knicks was in was the last quarterback in the first
- 40:06Speaker 1: round selected. But it's that hard to get a good
- 40:09Speaker 1: quarterback that if you have a shot to get a
- 40:10Speaker 1: good quarterback, good quarterback, you take them when you can.
- 40:13Speaker 5: Yeah. I don't know, I just uh, I don't know.
- 40:16Speaker 5: I'm just not completely sold on Shador. So I kind
- 40:19Speaker 5: of would hope that they would bolster the team in
- 40:21Speaker 5: another place.
- 40:22Speaker 1: As first and his field's going to be enough for.
- 40:24Speaker 5: The field's going to be enough.
- 40:26Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 40:26Speaker 5: Yeah, it just seems like with the Field signing, I
- 40:28Speaker 5: think the Jets just want to focus on the team
- 40:31Speaker 5: around them and just use him as a bridge.
- 40:32Speaker 1: I would say the most Jets thing ever happened would
- 40:34Speaker 1: be that they don't draft shit R and he's awesome.
- 40:36Speaker 5: Yeah yeah, well yeah, that's yeah true, it's a loseless whatever.
- 40:40Speaker 4: They dropped the corner that.
- 40:43Speaker 3: On Alabama exactly.
- 40:45Speaker 1: So we'll wait on Aaron Rodgers, I guess. But he's
- 40:49Speaker 1: if Pittsburgh ends up taking a quarterback, does he then
- 40:54Speaker 1: just wait and see who gets hurt or who needs
- 40:57Speaker 1: to quarter.
- 40:58Speaker 5: If someone always gets hurt, right, Yeah, But I'm kind of.
- 41:00Speaker 1: Over it, yet I still talk about it a little bit.
- 41:03Speaker 1: You didn't help it, but he wasn't lead story, no true.
- 41:10Speaker 5: Making Hedge beds on the pope.
- 41:12Speaker 1: Yeah, never forget. Uh So the Tennessee UCLA story is
- 41:16Speaker 1: hilarious because they basically traded quarterbacks wild So okay, Nico goes,
- 41:22Speaker 1: all right, I need more money. They go, We're not
- 41:24Speaker 1: gonna pay you more money. That's completely fair to do
- 41:27Speaker 1: because it is allowed. There was nothing illegal about what happened.
- 41:30Speaker 1: That is business. Turns out probably gonna be a bad
- 41:33Speaker 1: business move for Nico. Again, these numbers, when they give
- 41:37Speaker 1: nil numbers, I can tell you from experience they are
- 41:40Speaker 1: so inflated. Just because one, I've been involved in some
- 41:45Speaker 1: INNIL deals. I've done some INIL deals just myself, and
- 41:48Speaker 1: I have been on the outside of people who are
- 41:50Speaker 1: doing big INNIL deals and actually know what's really happening
- 41:53Speaker 1: versus what's reported. The numbers are wildly inflated most of
- 41:57Speaker 1: the time. So they're saying Nico was making a little
- 42:00Speaker 1: over two million at Tennessee. But also, Nico went there
- 42:04Speaker 1: only because of money, So why is everyone so surprised
- 42:07Speaker 1: that he left because of money? Like he literally only
- 42:09Speaker 1: went there because of money. He's a five star kid,
- 42:12Speaker 1: maybe even reclassified, and went there because they offered him
- 42:16Speaker 1: the most money. So why are you surprised that he's
- 42:18Speaker 1: leaving when he can get more money somewhere else in
- 42:21Speaker 1: his mind, in his dad's mind, his advisor's mind. He
- 42:23Speaker 1: goes to UCLA and supposedly they're giving him one point
- 42:26Speaker 1: five million. Now that's less than two point twenty five million, right,
- 42:30Speaker 1: everybody that's less?
- 42:31Speaker 4: Yes, NOEP?
- 42:32Speaker 1: And then when tax is hit in California because there
- 42:34Speaker 1: is no yeah, so that that is down, so he's
- 42:39Speaker 1: gonna be making less money. UCLA also is not going
- 42:42Speaker 1: to be good. Is there a more opportunity there for
- 42:50Speaker 1: other nil deal since he's in southern California? Possibly? But
- 42:54Speaker 1: if he's not, if the team's not good, people aren't
- 42:57Speaker 1: gonna be throwing money at him to advertise their car wash,
- 43:02Speaker 1: and they're not going to renegotiate his deal until next
- 43:05Speaker 1: year until it comes up again. But what's funny is
- 43:10Speaker 1: he goes to UCLA, which I think we figured it was.
- 43:14Speaker 1: I was gonna say I called it like Eddie did,
- 43:15Speaker 1: but I think everybody kind of knew he was going
- 43:17Speaker 1: West Coast. It was talk about two lane. They're talking
- 43:18Speaker 1: about North Carolina. For a while with Belichick, I felt
- 43:22Speaker 1: like he was going to go to USC or UCLA.
- 43:24Speaker 1: That's where he's from anyway. So yeah, he goes to Ucla.
- 43:29Speaker 1: So they have to then tell their quarterback who they
- 43:31Speaker 1: have as their starter. We got him coming in, so
- 43:35Speaker 1: you probably should just portle it up. And so he does,
- 43:37Speaker 1: and now he's going to Tennessee. It's like the wive swap,
- 43:42Speaker 1: who is that Joey Aguilar? But if you're Tennessee, you
- 43:47Speaker 1: got the lesser of the two because they ran off
- 43:51Speaker 1: that guy for that guy, not saying he'll perform lesser
- 43:54Speaker 1: next year, but in a vacuum, you got the lesser
- 43:58Speaker 1: of the two quarterbacks, as felt by the u c
- 44:00Speaker 1: l A staff, because if Nico's coming in and they
- 44:02Speaker 1: felt like Agila was better one they did never went
- 44:04Speaker 1: after Nico and offered him one point five million dollars
- 44:07Speaker 1: and two they would have told Agila he's coming in,
- 44:08Speaker 1: he's going to be the guy.
- 44:09Speaker 3: Mm hmm.
- 44:10Speaker 4: And he just got there four months ago.
- 44:12Speaker 1: Yeah, he's transferred in. Uh. The good thing about the
- 44:15Speaker 1: spring portal, as you can't if you're in the SEC,
- 44:18Speaker 1: you can't transfer to another SEC school, like Nico couldn't
- 44:21Speaker 1: go to Arkansas. However, Nico's little brother flipped last year
- 44:25Speaker 1: from UCLA to Arkansas and enrolled. He was to be
- 44:28Speaker 1: a freshman, just transferred out back to uc Maybe.
- 44:34Speaker 3: Yeah, that can be confusing with their last names on
- 44:37Speaker 3: the back. Yeah, different numbers and first letter.
- 44:41Speaker 1: But also it was crazy that he went to Arkansas
- 44:44Speaker 1: And I was like, why is he going to Arkansas?
- 44:45Speaker 1: Because we didn't offer him a ton of money.
- 44:46Speaker 4: It's random.
- 44:47Speaker 1: It was random, and he was I think he was
- 44:49Speaker 1: a three star in some services. I don't think he
- 44:53Speaker 1: was a four star kid. I think it was a
- 44:54Speaker 1: three star kid that was like borderline four. And he
- 44:57Speaker 1: went to Arkansas flip from UCLA. They were like big get.
- 45:00Speaker 1: I was like, well, he's not playing this year because
- 45:01Speaker 1: we have a quarterback of Arkansas, Taylor Green is going
- 45:04Speaker 1: to be good if he's gonna be great, because I
- 45:06Speaker 1: don't know that he has weapons around him to allow
- 45:08Speaker 1: him to be great, because you need weapons to be great.
- 45:10Speaker 1: You can be good pretty much by yourself. But I
- 45:13Speaker 1: was like, why is he going there? We want to
- 45:14Speaker 1: offer a bunch of money. And then when his brother
- 45:17Speaker 1: transferred out, everybody's like, oh great, now we got to
- 45:19Speaker 1: deal with his dad, and he just went and jumped.
- 45:22Speaker 1: It's yeah, it's.
- 45:23Speaker 4: Like a reality show.
- 45:25Speaker 1: Yeah, and I needed to get crazier because I ain't
- 45:27Speaker 1: gonna be fixed until he gets way crazier. Yeah, there
- 45:31Speaker 1: is no motivation for anybody to step in and fix
- 45:33Speaker 1: it with legislation because that's going to be the only
- 45:37Speaker 1: thing that actually plugs the dam.
- 45:39Speaker 3: You can have.
- 45:41Speaker 1: Conferences, agree on certain things, but they're probably still going
- 45:44Speaker 1: to be cheating because you can agree to all you want,
- 45:47Speaker 1: and if it's a code of ethics, I think we
- 45:49Speaker 1: know you may say yep, we're ethical, but you're probably
- 45:53Speaker 1: doing little shady things underneath were If there's legislation, you
- 45:56Speaker 1: can cheat. But if you can cheat, there are consequences
- 45:58Speaker 1: to getting caught. Yeah, yeah, we need some legislation. I
- 46:02Speaker 1: don't have the answers unless they ask me, because then
- 46:05Speaker 1: I got all of them. So yeah, that that's that's interesting.
- 46:09Speaker 1: But it's fun that college football like it still existed.
- 46:11Speaker 4: It's NonStop, because it wouldn't be a thing right now. No,
- 46:16Speaker 4: I'd kind of just be watching the spring games and
- 46:18Speaker 4: be like oh, I can't wait till August.
- 46:19Speaker 1: Spring games are done, by the way, I know springs,
- 46:22Speaker 1: but that's okay. Spring games are stupid anyway.
- 46:23Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean I've never been, so I can't act
- 46:25Speaker 4: like I'm a big fan.
- 46:25Speaker 1: Yeah, spring stupid anyway. The best NBA players to never
- 46:30Speaker 1: win a championship? Who comes to mine?
- 46:31Speaker 3: Eddie first to never win a championship? I ever sent
- 46:37Speaker 3: win a championship?
- 46:40Speaker 5: He did not.
- 46:42Speaker 3: He did not iver. Then is that your answer? Yeah,
- 46:44Speaker 3: I go, I'd go to Africa.
- 46:45Speaker 1: I would go Barkley first. He didn't make he wasn't
- 46:48Speaker 1: number one on the list. Though I answered the question
- 46:50Speaker 1: before I read it, I would have went Charles Barkley
- 46:53Speaker 1: because the reason I say that is that's always everybody's
- 46:56Speaker 1: fight back with Charles exactly at the table in the
- 47:00Speaker 1: al has a great point. I was like, you know,
- 47:02Speaker 1: we won't Jamie. Charles was like, but my opinion has
- 47:08Speaker 1: nothing to do with me winning a championship. But you
- 47:12Speaker 1: never want a championship, man, You never even know. All
- 47:14Speaker 1: you do is never let you got to the finals,
- 47:16Speaker 1: and then Ernie's like shuttled down. So because of that,
- 47:21Speaker 1: I would have put Barclay at one. I think Iverson's great.
- 47:23Speaker 1: Anybody else have anybody to want to add to the list.
- 47:25Speaker 4: Carl Malone, he didn't win an l a didd he No,
- 47:28Speaker 4: remember there was supposed to be this awesome team. They
- 47:30Speaker 4: u Gary the finals.
- 47:32Speaker 5: I think, actually yeah, but they didn't win that.
- 47:33Speaker 4: But they didn't. Gary was on that before. Now it
- 47:37Speaker 4: was before Nash Gary.
- 47:40Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 47:41Speaker 1: One was with Dwight Howard.
- 47:42Speaker 5: No, the Steve Nash white hairt Yeah yeah.
- 47:44Speaker 4: Carl Malone, I don't was shocked. There is probably right
- 47:49Speaker 4: after shock. Yeah yeah, yeah.
- 47:51Speaker 1: So Carmelo, Okay, so here we go. Anybody else want
- 47:53Speaker 1: to add to the list. Read something.
- 47:54Speaker 7: I was gonna say, Charles, that's my only one.
- 47:56Speaker 1: Okay, Brandon, you want adding I was going to say
- 47:58Speaker 1: Stockton great one never won. Malone didn't win. Stockton didn't
- 48:02Speaker 1: win it because they only played one season. Difference, like
- 48:04Speaker 1: they played eighteen years together. But Stockton came in one
- 48:07Speaker 1: year earlier then Malone did. Uh. So here is the
- 48:12Speaker 1: list from bro Bible one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten.
- 48:16Speaker 1: There's eleven at number eleven. Dominique Wilkins Hawks. Yeah. I
- 48:21Speaker 1: played on ten different playoff teams and I remember I
- 48:24Speaker 1: watched a lot of Hawks. I love the Hawks of
- 48:26Speaker 1: Spud Webons on the Hawks, having Dominique Wilkins and Doc
- 48:28Speaker 1: Rivers on that same team.
- 48:29Speaker 10: Wow.
- 48:30Speaker 1: So I used to watch and the Hawks were on
- 48:33Speaker 1: TBS a lot because Atlanta. So I watched a lot
- 48:36Speaker 1: of Hawks games. John Stockton at ten, Reggie Miller at nine.
- 48:41Speaker 5: Oh, I got another one in mine too. He got
- 48:45Speaker 5: Patrick Ewen.
- 48:46Speaker 1: So he's on the list pretty fall. Oh he didn't
- 48:49Speaker 1: make the list, but that's a good one. He's not
- 48:50Speaker 1: retired yet though, so maybe that's why.
- 48:52Speaker 3: I still playing.
- 48:53Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah, he's like fifty three. Yeah, and I don't
- 48:58Speaker 1: know if he's going to stay with I think his
- 49:00Speaker 1: contracts over this year, right, I think.
- 49:01Speaker 4: He's signed a one years.
- 49:03Speaker 5: Been bouncing around those yeah.
- 49:04Speaker 1: Uh so yeah eleven, Dominique ten, Stockton nine, Reggie Miller eight.
- 49:08Speaker 1: Tracy McGrady. What heard Tracy McGrady With me and my
- 49:14Speaker 1: generation is there weren't a lot of his games on television,
- 49:18Speaker 1: so as good as he was, we didn't get to
- 49:19Speaker 1: see him a whole lot because he he was right
- 49:22Speaker 1: before Cable started putting a bunch of games on and
- 49:27Speaker 1: Orlando kind of sucked yeah, and so they didn't make
- 49:30Speaker 1: many national.
- 49:31Speaker 3: Games, yeah, until Shack went there.
- 49:34Speaker 1: But even then it was when Shack and Penny were together.
- 49:36Speaker 1: That's kind of when it started. But the McGrady stuff didn't.
- 49:40Speaker 1: I didn't see him enough to really. I see him
- 49:42Speaker 1: now in clips and he's like a little bit of
- 49:45Speaker 1: Jason Williams. Yeah, little he.
- 49:47Speaker 5: Had an amazing game, but you're totally right, he wasn't
- 49:49Speaker 5: exposed enough.
- 49:51Speaker 1: Karl Malone. Karl Malone, ye, Alan Iverson And now we
- 49:54Speaker 1: are into the top five at number five. Patrick Ewing
- 49:57Speaker 1: seventeen seasons, fourteen postseasons. Patrick Ewing never won a championship.
- 50:01Speaker 1: I mean Michael Jordan kept on from him.
- 50:03Speaker 5: Yeah, and then the Rockets the one year they actually
- 50:05Speaker 5: did make the finals.
- 50:06Speaker 1: And Juan Yeah, so it was Jordan and then the
- 50:10Speaker 1: one year a Keeam. Yeah. At four, Vince Carter m
- 50:15Speaker 1: that I was watching an interview and it was one
- 50:21Speaker 1: of the guys from what is the podcast the All
- 50:24Speaker 1: the Smoke podcasts? Yeah, and they were asking like who
- 50:27Speaker 1: was the closest to Jordan but just didn't put in
- 50:30Speaker 1: the work, And he was like Vince Carter, really, They're
- 50:34Speaker 1: like he had it all, like athletic ability IQ. Yeah,
- 50:39Speaker 1: but just like wasn't mean enough, didn't commit and was
- 50:44Speaker 1: a great player but could have but just didn't have
- 50:47Speaker 1: that killer instinct that allowed him to get there. And
- 50:49Speaker 1: that killer instinct also allows you to train your face off.
- 50:52Speaker 1: It's like Kobe not going to the club like Kobe was.
- 50:55Speaker 1: Kobe was psychotic. Yeah, yeah, it's always funny. It's like, man,
- 50:57Speaker 1: which favorite Kobe story? Man, Yeah, he murdered my wife
- 51:00Speaker 1: life the night before and in the next night the game,
- 51:02Speaker 1: you put a fifty three and told me I killed
- 51:03Speaker 1: your wife and he's like, Mama, mentality, Man, that's what
- 51:06Speaker 1: we do. And you're like, like all the Kobe stories
- 51:08Speaker 1: are like go to a therapist, like Kobe needed some person.
- 51:11Speaker 1: But yeah, but if you're gonna be great, it's a
- 51:13Speaker 1: lot of sacrifice. But Kobe did one championshipre notheless three
- 51:18Speaker 1: Elgin Baylor before me.
- 51:20Speaker 5: Yeah, so just heard the name have no story.
- 51:26Speaker 1: Tape delayed if he ever got shown, it was tape
- 51:29Speaker 1: delayed even then.
- 51:30Speaker 4: Yeah, by a week.
- 51:31Speaker 1: That was before us at number two, Charles Barkley and
- 51:34Speaker 1: number one. Nobody's mentioned is it will Nope.
- 51:37Speaker 4: No, he won he won one. I think one one.
- 51:41Speaker 1: The crazy thing is the amount of championships? Is it?
- 51:44Speaker 1: Did doctor j has does.
- 51:46Speaker 5: He Jay has one?
- 51:48Speaker 11: Right? Or no?
- 51:48Speaker 3: I can't?
- 51:50Speaker 1: Who am I thinking of the Russell Bill Russell twelve
- 51:53Speaker 1: riding his twelve whatever?
- 51:55Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 51:56Speaker 1: Yeah, that's crazy. And he's not even the conversation for
- 51:58Speaker 1: Chris of all times because he was too old for
- 52:00Speaker 1: us to even to see him.
- 52:02Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 52:02Speaker 1: Yeah, and they're like, what he's playing against plumbers? Well,
- 52:05Speaker 1: everybody's playing against who they're playing against?
- 52:07Speaker 4: Yeah, and he win against Wilt Chamberlain.
- 52:09Speaker 1: Yeah, uh yeah, nobody's got number one, No even mentioned
- 52:11Speaker 1: number one. Dang, we saw him, everybody, here's him, regardless
- 52:18Speaker 1: of even our age age gap.
- 52:21Speaker 4: Oh is this Steve Nash?
- 52:22Speaker 1: No?
- 52:23Speaker 4: No, he won with Dallas.
- 52:25Speaker 1: Yeah, he won one with Dallas.
- 52:28Speaker 3: Hmmm.
- 52:28Speaker 1: Carmelo correct, next time was gonna be? Was?
- 52:36Speaker 3: I remember?
- 52:36Speaker 1: I lived through it? Carmelo nineteen seasons, thirteen post seasons.
- 52:42Speaker 1: But again, I'm not gonna have an argument here. But
- 52:44Speaker 1: was he better than Barkley? I don't, I don't know,
- 52:47Speaker 1: like more dominant number one Barkley?
- 52:49Speaker 4: Well, same with Vince Carter. I mean, I love Vince Carter,
- 52:51Speaker 4: but was he better than all those guys.
- 52:54Speaker 1: Vince Carter though, was kind of a pop culture like that.
- 52:57Speaker 1: He was a slammed down contast the Olympics, dunking over people.

- 54:43Speaker 1: And now it's not a surprise. Yeah, you told us
- 54:46Speaker 1: you literally you literally had your pants and you're going
- 54:48Speaker 1: I got a surprise.
- 54:50Speaker 7: Oh yeah, I guess that. Yeah, that'll add up.
- 54:52Speaker 1: Okay, So Read's got a surprise for us next week. Yep,
- 54:55Speaker 1: next week.
- 54:55Speaker 7: Thanks for you, Yeah man, you get ready.
- 54:57Speaker 1: Read's final two shows will be next we.
- 55:00Speaker 3: Hey man, I know, but he'll come back and busy,
- 55:03Speaker 3: he said.
- 55:03Speaker 1: All the time. He's only four four hours away. Okay,
- 55:07Speaker 1: So we'll end with this. We're gonna do two troops
- 55:10Speaker 1: in a Lie Sports Edition, Sae man, I have here.
- 55:16Speaker 1: I do one, two, three, four or five? All right, Eddie,
- 55:19Speaker 1: come on, two troops in a Lie. Find the lie.
- 55:25Speaker 1: No team has ever played a super Bowl in their
- 55:26Speaker 1: home stadium. The Patriots and Steelers are tied for the
- 55:30Speaker 1: most super Bowl wins. The forty nine Ers have never
- 55:34Speaker 1: lost a super Bowl by more than four points. I'm
- 55:37Speaker 1: gonna read them again. You're trying to find the lie. Okay,
- 55:39Speaker 1: you're looking for the lie. No team has ever played
- 55:42Speaker 1: a super Bowl in their home stadium. The Patriots and
- 55:46Speaker 1: Steelers are tied for the most super Bowl wins. The
- 55:50Speaker 1: forty nine Ers have never lost a super Bowl. I'm
- 55:52Speaker 1: more than four points, which one's a lie?
- 55:56Speaker 3: So I'm taking out the first one because I think
- 56:00Speaker 3: the Packers probably or early early on they probably played
- 56:03Speaker 3: at Lambeau or something. So I'm taking that one out.
- 56:05Speaker 1: Well, I think you're missing the game.
- 56:07Speaker 3: Yeah yeah, yeah, so I'm trying to find the.
- 56:09Speaker 1: One liee, You're trying to find the lie.
- 56:11Speaker 3: Yeah. So I think that they're that play a team
- 56:13Speaker 3: has played in their home stadium.
- 56:14Speaker 1: So that would be the lie. Yeah, because the statement
- 56:19Speaker 1: is no team has ever played a super Bowl. Oh okay, yeah,
- 56:23Speaker 1: the Packers have never played a super Bowl their home stadium.
- 56:24Speaker 3: Good, And I wasn't really sure about the super bowls
- 56:26Speaker 3: with the Patriots and the Steelers.
- 56:28Speaker 1: So yeah, I say the Packers have never played a
- 56:30Speaker 1: super Bowl their homestadia.
- 56:31Speaker 3: Oh you just said that.
- 56:32Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm just letting you know that. Ile hint there.
- 56:34Speaker 1: The Packers have never played a super Bowl in their
- 56:35Speaker 1: home steady. Yeah, but like I have the Colts No,
- 56:38Speaker 1: oh really Baltimore or Indianapolis.
- 56:42Speaker 3: Yeah okay, so that's what I was thinking. But are
- 56:45Speaker 3: you helping me right now? I don't know if you're
- 56:47Speaker 3: helping exactly. That's what.
- 56:50Speaker 1: Motivation.
- 56:53Speaker 3: And then the Patriots and the Steelers, that doesn't sound right.
- 56:55Speaker 3: I feel like the Patriots have more than the Steelers, so.
- 56:58Speaker 1: That could be the lie. That could be the lie.
- 57:00Speaker 1: Which one's a lie? He didn't answer.
- 57:01Speaker 3: And the last one was the forty nine ers have ever.
- 57:03Speaker 1: Lost a super Bowl by more than four points?
- 57:07Speaker 3: Yeah, that's that's that's true. So I'm gonna go with
- 57:12Speaker 3: the super bowls. No, it's got to be the first one.
- 57:15Speaker 3: Give me the first one. The first one was a lie.
- 57:18Speaker 1: You've walked us around. You didn't even understand the game,
- 57:21Speaker 1: walked us around.
- 57:22Speaker 3: That's my head right now. I'm going to go with
- 57:23Speaker 3: the first one is a lie, the super Bowl.
- 57:25Speaker 1: No team has ever played a super Bowl in their
- 57:27Speaker 1: home stadium. Come on, you're saying that's a lie.
- 57:29Speaker 10: That's a lie.
- 57:30Speaker 3: Guys.
- 57:30Speaker 1: Has a Super Bowl ever been played by a team
- 57:33Speaker 1: in their home stadium?
- 57:33Speaker 8: Yes?
- 57:34Speaker 10: Yes?
- 57:34Speaker 1: And what's the team correct in twenty twenty one? Ye,
- 57:38Speaker 1: that's not a lie. You got it. You missed it,
- 57:41Speaker 1: but you got it. Okay, Yeah, you got it. Got
- 57:42Speaker 1: the point there, it's a difficult point to get. Yeah,
- 57:45Speaker 1: Reid Younner say the game. Yeah, I think so one
- 57:48Speaker 1: of these is a lie. Brett Farve's first completed NFL
- 57:53Speaker 1: pass was to himself.
- 57:55Speaker 7: Oh wow.
- 57:57Speaker 1: Eli Manning has more playoff wins than air Rodgers. Drew
- 58:03Speaker 1: Brees was drafted by the Chargers in the first round. Ooh, ooh, man,
- 58:12Speaker 1: which one is the Lie Brett Farbes first completed NFL
- 58:16Speaker 1: pass was to himself.
- 58:18Speaker 7: Man, I'm gonna look like an idiot.
- 58:20Speaker 1: Eli Manning has more playoff wins than Aaron Rodgers. Okay,
- 58:24Speaker 1: Drew Brees was drafted by the Chargers in the first round.
- 58:26Speaker 7: I don't think Breese was was drafted by the Chargers.
- 58:29Speaker 1: Why not at all?
- 58:31Speaker 7: Yeah, why are you doing that?
- 58:32Speaker 1: Man? Breeze was drafted by the Chargers.
- 58:34Speaker 8: He was.
- 58:35Speaker 1: Yeah, we talked about it like twenty minutes.
- 58:36Speaker 3: Ago, not long ago.
- 58:39Speaker 1: Did you mm hmm? What's train to their buddy? I'm
- 58:47Speaker 1: gonna go with number two, Eli Manning. You don't even
- 58:50Speaker 1: know what it did.
- 58:50Speaker 11: Just no, no, no, no, no, it was no, it
- 58:52Speaker 11: was He's more playoff wins than here, Eli Manning has.
- 58:55Speaker 1: Eli Manning does have more playoff wins excepte.
- 58:58Speaker 7: Like, he definitely threw a pass to himself.
- 59:00Speaker 1: That's Brett Farr.
- 59:01Speaker 7: Yeah, that's what I'm saying.
- 59:02Speaker 1: Oh God, guys, I don't know who he plays. I'm saying, Brett.
- 59:07Speaker 7: Barr definitely threw a past himself.
- 59:08Speaker 1: Read and this is how I knew that answer earlier.
- 59:10Speaker 1: I didn't know how I knew it, but I was
- 59:11Speaker 1: putting the game together. Why I knew Drew Brees was
- 59:13Speaker 1: second round?
- 59:14Speaker 3: We just said it.
- 59:15Speaker 1: Well, yeah, Breeze was drafted by the Chargers, but in
- 59:17Speaker 1: the second round, pick thirty two. That's how I knew
- 59:20Speaker 1: that off the top of my head because I had.
- 59:22Speaker 4: Just look right at it.
- 59:23Speaker 1: Yeah, all right, we're.
- 59:26Speaker 4: Gonna be able to get through this.
- 59:26Speaker 1: I don't know, because if we can't get through this one,
- 59:28Speaker 1: we're gonna.
- 59:29Speaker 4: Come on, Casey, I need one man, I need one.
- 59:35Speaker 1: Hold on. What was the lie? I'm just kidding.
- 59:38Speaker 4: I'm just kidding.
- 59:39Speaker 3: I know you're not You're not kidding.
- 59:42Speaker 1: Okay, we're gonna end on one. Okay, Well, never we'll
- 59:45Speaker 1: do Okay, we go, Casey, all right, Casey, the Cowboys
- 59:49Speaker 1: passed on drafting Randy Moss in nineteen ninety eight. Okay,
- 59:53Speaker 1: let's just do it like this. Do you think that's
- 59:54Speaker 1: true or false? And you can change it. But I
- 59:55Speaker 1: think that's true of false, the Cowboys passed on drafting
- 59:58Speaker 1: Randy Moss in nineteen ninety eight.
- 59:59Speaker 5: I think that's false.
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: Okay, So they definitely could be the lie, could be
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: the lie. Ceedee Lamb was the first wide receiver Dallas
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: ever selected in the first round. I don't think that's true,
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: So that's another false.
- 1:00:19Speaker 3: It's tough, guys.
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: Micah Parsons was originally drafted as a linebacker, not an
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: edge rusher.
- 1:00:24Speaker 5: Oh wow, okay, why did they get the Cowboys?
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: He's playing?
- 1:00:29Speaker 5: All right, I'm going to say that the lie is
- 1:00:36Speaker 5: number two with the first round pick.
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: You are correct. The Cowboys drafted multiple first round before
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: Ceedee Lamb, including Michael Irvin and Dez Bryant.
- 1:00:45Speaker 4: Boys, they did pass on.
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: They did pass on drafting Randy Moss.
- 1:00:50Speaker 4: Why did I think Randy Moss played? Was drafted sooner
- 1:00:54Speaker 4: than ninety eight? That's I thought he was in the
- 1:00:57Speaker 4: league a little longer.
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, maybe he was, dude. If not, then that's
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: a lie.
- 1:01:03Speaker 5: There's another liar right there.
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: You were You could be true.
- 1:01:08Speaker 3: I could be.
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: I also write no, it is right? Yeah, okay, let
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: me look, because that does seem like Moss drafted night
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: yeah eight. Oh thank god, Because I'm not above making
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: a mistake at all.
- 1:01:22Speaker 4: I'm so confused right now, all right, Kevin.
- 1:01:24Speaker 3: What's the game called again in a line.
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: All right, Oh, Jerry Jones bought the Cowboys in nineteen
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: eighty nine. Do you think that's true or false?
- 1:01:35Speaker 4: No, that's false.
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: Okay, he's gonna go that on so far. That's a lie.
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: Number two, he fired Tom Landry immediately after purchasing the team. True,
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: Jerry Jones has never served as the team's general manager officially.
- 1:01:50Speaker 4: Oh god, that's a mind f.
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: Which one will lie?
- 1:01:57Speaker 4: I'm gonna stick with it. Number one? The first one Jones.
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: Jerry Jones did buy the Cowboys in ninete eighty nine's.
- 1:02:03Speaker 3: Oh yeah, it was earlier.
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: And he did not fire Tom Landry immediately after purchasing
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: the team. I think gave me a year.
- 1:02:09Speaker 5: Maybe I was gonna say this pretty quick, but not
- 1:02:11Speaker 5: that one year?
- 1:02:11Speaker 3: Huh?
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: I think so he has a heart. And but Jerry
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: Jones hasn't been the team general manager straight up?
- 1:02:16Speaker 4: Okay? Yeah, yeah, I know. He says I had enough
- 1:02:19Speaker 4: of a legal title for him.
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: I did go to do a bunch of cowb I
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: for gonna tell you got the shift to Cowboys. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: you didn't get many of those, yeah, Brandon. Final question
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: at and T Stadium has a retractable roof and a
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: high def video board that spans sixty yards. Maybe that's
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: true or false? I think that's false. Okay, the Cowboys
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: are the only NFL team that doesn't wear a logo
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: on their helmet.
- 1:02:49Speaker 8: One more time.
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: The Cowboys are the only NFL team that doesn't wear
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: a logo on their helmet. Two. The original Cowboys stadium
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: this hard. The original Cowboys Stadium was named Jerry's World. Okay,
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: that's the lie. The third one, yeah, well, Jerry World
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: is also the nickname for a TT S.
- 1:03:15Speaker 3: Right, what was the first one?
- 1:03:16Speaker 4: Reunion at?
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: And T Stadium has a retractable roof and a high
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: that video board that spanned sixty yards. That's true, that's
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: I'm sorry, Okay, interesting.
- 1:03:27Speaker 3: Is it? Yeah?
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: What's this game? I don't know and I don't know. Okay,
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: thank you. That's it. We're done. Thank you guys for
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: being here. So does Brandon well read this? You got
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: this weekend next week?
- 1:03:42Speaker 8: Right?
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: Yeah? Does Brandon end up taking your workout spot too?
- 1:03:46Speaker 4: Oh?
- 1:03:47Speaker 11: Yeah, I mean we actually talked about that, if you
- 1:03:49Speaker 11: if he would be down and I.
- 1:03:51Speaker 3: Know I need to, that's for sure. Is he getting
- 1:03:54Speaker 3: his apartment as well.
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: I don't know. It's what I'm wondering, like it is,
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: I'm moving it over all read stuff.
- 1:03:58Speaker 7: He's taking my car, are taking everything.
- 1:04:01Speaker 5: I was like, what do you eat for breaks?
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: Like black mirror? Just a new person comes in.
- 1:04:06Speaker 4: Thank you guys.
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: If you don't mind go over to our twenty five
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: whistles feed and hit subscribe. It would help us a
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: ton if you guys would do that. We appreciate that.
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: And I guess we'll talk after the draft, at least
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: after round one of the draft. Yeah. Yeah, we're back
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: on Friday to talk to Ron One. What's up, Mike?
- 1:04:20Speaker 9: You want to go to seth Rawlins?
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: Oh yeah, before we close. Yeah, here's our interview with
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: seth Rawlins. Seth A lot of questions for you.
- 1:04:28Speaker 10: Great.
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: First of all, you grew up in Iowa.
- 1:04:30Speaker 10: That's right, Davenport, Iowa born and raised.
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: So done a bunch of stand up through Iowa. And
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: I go to the town where they make the crunchberries.
- 1:04:37Speaker 10: Where do they make the crunchberries?
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: They have a whole crunchberry factory in Iowa. I thought
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: you would tell me.
- 1:04:41Speaker 10: Really it's a Captain crunch It's either Iowa City or
- 1:04:44Speaker 10: it is Cedar raftids. That's it, Cedar rapt The.
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: Whole town smells like crunchberry. It's the greatest, the smell of.
- 1:04:49Speaker 12: Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, that is right, yes, cedar rapids.
- 1:04:52Speaker 12: I didn't know they made crunchberries there. I knew there
- 1:04:53Speaker 12: was like a factory of whatever.
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: You got to go back. It's crunchberry Central.
- 1:04:58Speaker 10: Oh that's amazing.
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: Like where's home now?
- 1:05:00Speaker 8: Then?
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: But what state is it?
- 1:05:01Speaker 11: So?
- 1:05:02Speaker 12: Still Iowa? Still got a place in Iowa. But La
- 1:05:05Speaker 12: as well? Los Angeles.
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: You don't smell like crunchberries in La.
- 1:05:08Speaker 10: No, it smells like ashes.
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: Yes, yeah, you're right, it's like a fire pit. Unfortunately,
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: I watched the rumble? Did you?
- 1:05:15Speaker 10: Did you enjoy a five?
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: Here's the two things I liked. One, I don't have
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: to pay for it, right like I just have.
- 1:05:21Speaker 10: Peacock he got Boom Pop it on go.
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: And between Peacock and Netflix, it's opening it up to
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: people who maybe didn't feel like either they wanted to
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: try to find it or pay for you know, a
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: preferred a pay per view.
- 1:05:35Speaker 12: Yeah yeah, yeah, and drop fifty bucks for a pay
- 1:05:37Speaker 12: per view or eighty now I guess.
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: Yeah, it is all five hours of it thought it
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: was fantastic. What I came out thinking was And I
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: have a bunch of friends that played pro ball. They
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: hurt after every game, Yes, sir, aside from what we're
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: seeing after basically every match, is it? I sent it
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: up cold to are you hurt? Not injured, but are
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: you hurt after every match?
- 1:06:01Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 1:06:01Speaker 10: Falling down is not fun. Falling down is painful.
- 1:06:05Speaker 12: And the older I get, the longer I do it,
- 1:06:07Speaker 12: you don't get used to it. There is probably a
- 1:06:09Speaker 12: period in my late twenties where I could wrestle every
- 1:06:13Speaker 12: single night and I would be like brand new the
- 1:06:15Speaker 12: next day. That those days have come and gone. Now
- 1:06:19Speaker 12: after every match, it takes me longer to get out
- 1:06:22Speaker 12: of my gear.
- 1:06:23Speaker 10: I have to ice things.
- 1:06:24Speaker 12: I have to take a nice hot shower and make
- 1:06:26Speaker 12: sure that I hit all the good spots so that
- 1:06:28Speaker 12: I can lay down in bed comfortably. It is, Yeah,
- 1:06:32Speaker 12: it is very difficult to move once you've stiffened up after.
- 1:06:37Speaker 10: A little while.
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: And is there like an injury report like in football,
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: Like you have to go to them and be like
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: I've kind of busted out my elbow, especially maybe early.
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: You don't even want them to know you're injured, because
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: so where does that process turn from. I don't really
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: want them to know because I want to keep working too.
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: I need to let them know because I am now valuable.
- 1:06:55Speaker 12: So I think as our medical system has developed over
- 1:06:59Speaker 12: the years, there was always like a stigma about saying
- 1:07:03Speaker 12: you were hurt. You know, you had to be a
- 1:07:05Speaker 12: tough guy in wrestling, right, you just tough it out
- 1:07:07Speaker 12: whatever it was. It's a little bit different these days.
- 1:07:10Speaker 12: I think the culture has changed to the point where
- 1:07:14Speaker 12: we've learned that medical.
- 1:07:15Speaker 10: Is there to help us, to work with us.
- 1:07:17Speaker 12: So they're not trying to like, you know, if you
- 1:07:20Speaker 12: have a bruised elbow, they're not gonna be like, okay, ghost,
- 1:07:23Speaker 12: you got to sit out.
- 1:07:24Speaker 10: But they're saying, let's take a look at it.
- 1:07:26Speaker 12: Let's let's make sure that it's not an injury, that
- 1:07:29Speaker 12: it is just something that we can work through.
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: And and for me, you know.
- 1:07:33Speaker 12: I've been with ww for old twelve years something like
- 1:07:35Speaker 12: that now maybe a little longer, and you know, there's
- 1:07:38Speaker 12: an equity there, a relationship that I built up with
- 1:07:41Speaker 12: our medical team, so they understand my body, they understand
- 1:07:44Speaker 12: my complaints, they understand what you know, okay is if
- 1:07:46Speaker 12: it's your neck, let's look at it. If it's you know,
- 1:07:49Speaker 12: your your hips or something, okay, well we can work
- 1:07:51Speaker 12: through that. They know where I'm at. So it's just
- 1:07:54Speaker 12: a matter of trusting the team that you've got in
- 1:07:56Speaker 12: place and understanding your body. They understand your physical you know,
- 1:08:00Speaker 12: health and where it's supposed to be, what your homeostasis is,
- 1:08:04Speaker 12: and then you just got to go from there. But yeah,
- 1:08:05Speaker 12: it's trust, man, and we're at a good place, I think,
- 1:08:08Speaker 12: with where we're at and what we've learned over the years.
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: Final two questions. We've been on the road. We've been
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: doing a couple of shows before we came to the
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: super Bowl, and so we find gyms, Yeah, we have to.
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: We played like a twenty dollars day pass to go. Yes,
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: there's some What is that process for you? Is it
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: pretty much lined up? Or sometimes you have to go
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: on like a scavenger hunt somewhere just to get a
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: workout of it.
- 1:08:27Speaker 12: Now I'm always scavenging, man, But I've been traveling for
- 1:08:29Speaker 12: so long that I've got like these gyms built into
- 1:08:31Speaker 12: my rolodecks. I am an avid crossfitter for years, and
- 1:08:35Speaker 12: so CrossFit gyms are cool because.
- 1:08:37Speaker 10: You just meet the owner, you know what I mean.
- 1:08:39Speaker 12: They're not like box gyms where like you just have
- 1:08:41Speaker 12: to pay a day pass and find like a Planet
- 1:08:43Speaker 12: Fitness or a you know what, Crunch Fitness or whatever
- 1:08:46Speaker 12: CrossFit gyms. You meet the owner, you build a relationship,
- 1:08:49Speaker 12: and then every time you go back into town, you
- 1:08:50Speaker 12: just say, hey, man, like coming through, got a show?
- 1:08:53Speaker 12: Mind if I come in and get a little pump
- 1:08:55Speaker 12: on or you know, get a sweat in or whatever
- 1:08:57Speaker 12: it is, and they're they're very cool about opening their doors.
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: Final question for you, whenever you started to be somebody
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: known in pop culture more so than a wrestler early on,
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: because you've you've definitely hit that phase of people know
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: you now that just aren't die hard wrestling.
- 1:09:14Speaker 10: Yes, yeah.
- 1:09:14Speaker 1: Do you start to have other folks that maybe I
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: don't know, weren't your friend in high school and all
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: of a sudden they're like, hey, remember me? Can I
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: get some tickets? Like what part of your career did
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: that happen where it's like, hey, we were bloods back
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: and I can I come to the show.
- 1:09:27Speaker 10: Yeah, I mean that started, you know, and it didn't
- 1:09:29Speaker 10: happen all at once.
- 1:09:30Speaker 12: It's like a kind of progressive thing that's happened over
- 1:09:33Speaker 12: over the course of the last twelve years. You know,
- 1:09:35Speaker 12: you get people little by little who start to ask questions,
- 1:09:39Speaker 12: and I'm pretty cool with it, like, you know, if
- 1:09:41Speaker 12: I can help somebody out, I will. But sometimes it
- 1:09:44Speaker 12: gets a little crazy, you know, like you start asking
- 1:09:47Speaker 12: for me to send stuff to your you know, your
- 1:09:49Speaker 12: friends kids or something like that. I'm like, bro, we
- 1:09:52Speaker 12: had like two conversations back in two thousand and two,
- 1:09:56Speaker 12: like I know your name and picture kind of because
- 1:09:59Speaker 12: you look exactly like you did when you graduated.
- 1:10:01Speaker 10: But come on, pump the brakes a little bit. Be realistic.
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: Elimination Chamber is exciting IM.
- 1:10:07Speaker 12: That's gonna be big. I hope I can get myself
- 1:10:09Speaker 12: in there. I still got to qualify for it. I'm
- 1:10:11Speaker 12: not even in the chamber yet. Punk's in the chamber
- 1:10:13Speaker 12: scene as in the scene you just said, I'm in
- 1:10:16Speaker 12: at the press conference, I'm in. I'm just doing it. Yeah,
- 1:10:19Speaker 12: He's like, I'm not qualifying, I'm John Cena, And I go, Okay,
- 1:10:21Speaker 12: I guess that makes sense, you know.
- 1:10:23Speaker 10: Uh so I still got to qualify.
- 1:10:25Speaker 12: I still got a match coming up in a couple
- 1:10:27Speaker 12: of weeks against Finn Valor. I gotta win and get
- 1:10:28Speaker 12: in and I gotta win that match. But it is exciting.
- 1:10:31Speaker 12: We're at skydoone, which is dope Skydo Yeah, yeah, Rogers Center,
- 1:10:35Speaker 12: I think it's what it's called. Tickets on sale now,
- 1:10:37Speaker 12: but that's gonna be a good time. Man, that's gonna
- 1:10:39Speaker 12: be John Cena's last elimination chaper.
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: Martin Luiers draw Elimination Chamber of March first, Rogers Center
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: in Toronto. Tickets available. It's ticketmaster dot ca A. That's Canada.
- 1:10:48Speaker 3: Yes, that is Canada.
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: Yea, not California. Really a big fan. Really appreciate it.
