Fota House and Gardens in East Cork is launching a new oral history project to preserve the personal stories of everyone who’s ever touched its grounds—gardeners, workers, volunteers, visitors. Funded by the Heritage Council and led by Mac Conmara Heritage Consulting, this initiative captures traditions, daily practices, and lived experiences tied to the estate, enriching its physical legacy with human voices.
