A 59-year-old pedestrian, Adam Ali, was fatally struck by a Metrobus while crossing the street at a signalized intersection in Bailey’s Crossroads Sunday night. The bus, turning right after stopping at a red light, hit him on the front right side as he crossed west to east. Ali was rushed to the hospital but later died from his injuries. The driver, unharmed, remained at the scene; alcohol and drugs are not suspected.
