- 0:40[SPEAKER_05]: We we just can't we send them back to Canada
- 0:44[SPEAKER_04]: Kenny's out there trying to wrangle up some guys to bring up here for us to talk to some former Browns players.
- 0:50[SPEAKER_04]: Again, if you weren't here with us at the beginning, we are currently a whole of theme lanes here in Canton, Ohio for the bowling with pros.
- 1:00[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, all here we go.
- 1:01[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, I'm sitting down.
- 1:14[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, yeah, turn right there.
- 1:15[SPEAKER_03]: There we go.
- 1:18[SPEAKER_03]: And for Dixon, how are you doing, sir?
- 1:20[SPEAKER_01]: But I'm good, guys.
- 1:20[SPEAKER_01]: How you guys doing?
- 1:21[SPEAKER_01]: Good, see you again.
- 1:23[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, absolutely.
- 1:24[SPEAKER_01]: Absolutely.
- 1:25[SPEAKER_01]: We got to do this more often.
- 1:28[SPEAKER_04]: So, first of all, I guess we should talk about the event how great event going on today.
- 1:33[SPEAKER_01]: No, it really is.
- 1:33[SPEAKER_01]: I'm just happy that I can be a part of it and happen to help.
- 1:38[SPEAKER_01]: So, whenever I get an opportunity to do something like this, I just want to do it.
- 1:43[SPEAKER_01]: Also, too, it's just a good time to get a chance to see all the guys.
- 1:47[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 1:47[SPEAKER_01]: Get a chance to talk all the bullshit and laugh.
- 1:50[SPEAKER_01]: And I think I spend most of the time just laughing.
- 1:54[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it seems like the brotherhood with all the former players like it's it's awesome to watch you guys just interact with each other Yeah, absolutely because we've always had that closeness and And you know we're not getting any younger, so that's why we all Well, we get a chance to get together.
- 2:08[SPEAKER_01]: We got to go ahead and go ahead and do it It's what it's good to see Greg Pro at Bernie is here a Felix Matt Felix Max.
- 2:15[SPEAKER_01]: I'm thinking of Kevin Mac
- 2:17[SPEAKER_05]: feel it's right at Langhorn, just in their Bob Golik, but then so uh hey man, why don't another thing about when you guys played together, you guys had that brotherhood back then too.
- 2:28[SPEAKER_05]: The the biggest thing is about that run that you guys did between 85
- 2:32[SPEAKER_05]: And 89 is like, a lot of people said like say let's say the 49ers for example, they had great talent But you guys were a team.
- 2:41[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, you know, and you had that team in it shows now the way you guys just I could I couldn't imagine being the locker room back with you guys back then I think that'd be awesome.
- 2:48[SPEAKER_01]: It was a riot I mean, it was just absolutely a riot, but what we all understood is that when it came time to play
- 2:56[SPEAKER_01]: we can depend on each other, we can count on each other, we had each other's back and you're right.
- 3:02[SPEAKER_01]: The only thing that's just devastating us is that we lost those three FC champs who came to Denver and the thing about it, Denver, for instance, you know, everything went right during those games, but when they got in the Super Bowl, they laid an egg.
- 3:16[SPEAKER_01]: So we, we don't want one of those goddamn games.
- 3:19[SPEAKER_01]: So anyway, I don't think you would have let Timmy Smith go for 200 yards.
- 3:24[SPEAKER_05]: So I don't even want to be the Redskins.
- 3:25[SPEAKER_01]: No, especially back there because we can put that hit girl in the back.
- 3:29[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, now you look at him, we ain't go through all flags.
- 3:34[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 3:36[SPEAKER_04]: So as we kind of look, are you excited for the brown season this year?
- 3:39[SPEAKER_01]: You know what I really am.
- 3:41[SPEAKER_01]: I am for the first time in a long time and excited because when you look at it, Andrew finally had a good draft and some of the players and some of the moves that he's...
- 3:53[SPEAKER_01]: made I like Todd our head coach, you know, obviously I have a little history with him because I know him from his days when he was at Southern Mississippi, right?
- 4:05[SPEAKER_01]: And obviously me and Ozzy being best friends, I know him from a little bit over in the Baltimore, and he's, I think he's going to be a bit really, really good head coach because he's a guy that I think is going to
- 4:20[SPEAKER_01]: And when you look at Conception, for instance, some of the guys, well, first of all, look at the quarterback position.
- 4:27[SPEAKER_01]: I would be shocked, personally, if you door, doesn't win that battle, but I like the idea that he's got an open to both guys, talking about both quarterbacks, but...
- 4:41[SPEAKER_01]: I'm just I'm just happy I'm excited I'm happy and can't wait to for this season to start you feel like coach Monkton's a little bit bill power ourselves.
- 4:49[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, yeah.
- 4:49[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, yeah.
- 4:49[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, yeah.
- 4:50[SPEAKER_01]: Anybody that's got a recipe boys.
- 4:52[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 4:52[SPEAKER_01]: You need to be aware of it.
- 4:55[SPEAKER_01]: You know, he's done mess it over.
- 4:56[SPEAKER_03]: I remember you talking about that on your show right about.
- 4:59[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 4:59[SPEAKER_03]: You're relationship with Ozzy and everything and getting some good feedback about Monkton.
- 5:02[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 5:03[SPEAKER_01]: That that was encouraging for me to tell you and and like I said, Ozzy would tell me the truth.
- 5:09[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, he
- 5:11[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, he feels really, really strong about this guy and he's got an effort to tell you.
- 5:16[SPEAKER_01]: He's got a good, well, he's already a good coach, but I'm talking about a good head coach.
- 5:21[SPEAKER_01]: He's going to be, so I like, I like Todd and what he's trying to do and what he's trying to do with this football team.
- 5:29[SPEAKER_01]: Had a chance to, I think we walked a whole together out at Firestone at the Browns Hall, Saudi.
- 5:35[SPEAKER_01]: Well, we laughed pretty much a whole time.
- 5:39[SPEAKER_01]: I won't get a tune in that conversation, but I can't wait to see what this team is going to do, and I'm very, very excited about it.
- 5:46[SPEAKER_05]: Coach Monkton, he's got the right attitude for the current Cleveland media.
- 5:50[SPEAKER_05]: I would say, I don't know if you'd agree with that.
- 5:52[SPEAKER_05]: How is the media spun since you used to have to take those pressers?
- 5:57[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, it was tough because, you know,
- 6:01[SPEAKER_01]: Tony Gross is a little milder these days.
- 6:04[SPEAKER_01]: Mayor Kay was also there.
- 6:06[SPEAKER_01]: Jeff's your day all all the time.
- 6:08[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 6:08[SPEAKER_01]: I mean they didn't pull any punches with us.
- 6:10[SPEAKER_01]: I mean they were straight at our ass.
- 6:13[SPEAKER_01]: That's because they were straight at us.
- 6:16[SPEAKER_01]: Cause I remember I was frank and I would be mad at them for two weeks.
- 6:19[SPEAKER_01]: You know, we'd give them that eye, but they didn't care.
- 6:23[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, which we understood, they had a job to do.
- 6:27[SPEAKER_01]: Absolutely.
- 6:30[SPEAKER_01]: I think everybody, if everybody was to tell the truth right now, I think everybody that's got to be excited about this team because when you look at the AFC North, it's such a strong and tough division.
- 6:43[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, Cincinnati, Baltimore, Pittsburgh,
- 6:49[SPEAKER_01]: I'm a little bit happy Pittsburgh about Aaron Rodgers back.
- 6:54[SPEAKER_01]: I couldn't believe they sit around that waiting on him.
- 6:56[SPEAKER_01]: Me, hell Aaron Rodgers is all in the air.
- 6:59[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 7:02[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, sure he's all of him quarterback.
- 7:04[SPEAKER_01]: He's going to be in the hall of the game.
- 7:06[SPEAKER_01]: But I just don't see it right now.
- 7:08[SPEAKER_01]: But I'm glad they have him.
- 7:09[SPEAKER_01]: But that makes that I think the FC North is going to be really, really competitive division.
- 7:17[SPEAKER_03]: It's going to be interesting with the three new head coach.
- 7:19[SPEAKER_03]: So every all the turn over this cut in the shirt because you had, you know, Mike Tomlin and Harball were here forever decades, you know?
- 7:26[SPEAKER_03]: It's just, there was no change.
- 7:27[SPEAKER_01]: Hey, listen to me, for Mike Tomlin to be gone and Harball to be gone out of theFC North with just a total total shot and I will get into the details of all that, but it's just was a shock.
- 7:42[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, you talk about, you just like you say, you know,
- 7:46[SPEAKER_01]: I was gonna say two Hall of Fame coaches, but hell would Bella check didn't get in on the first turn.
- 7:51[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, hi, who knows that would be a Hall of Fame coach.
- 7:53[SPEAKER_01]: But how could you keep Bella check out?
- 7:55[SPEAKER_01]: You know, that was crazy.
- 7:56[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 7:57[SPEAKER_04]: If you were to told me that Zack Taylor was gonna be the only coach left in the Aston.
- 8:00[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 8:01[SPEAKER_04]: I would have said, there's no way.
- 8:03[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, there's no way.
- 8:07[SPEAKER_04]: So we don't want to hold you up the whole day.
- 8:09[SPEAKER_04]: Obviously a great event just one last thing.
- 8:10[SPEAKER_04]: What did you think about the miles move it in what it does for the team going into the future?
- 8:17[SPEAKER_01]: You know what I
- 8:20[SPEAKER_01]: It was, you know, the deal was already done a while ago.
- 8:26[SPEAKER_01]: They were trying to keep it secret.
- 8:28[SPEAKER_01]: And obviously the Rams leaked it, but I think it was, the Miles had rent his course here, meaning that I think he wanted to go somewhere else.
- 8:40[SPEAKER_01]: I think he wanted to be somewhere somewhere else and where he thought possibly he can win a championship.
- 8:47[SPEAKER_01]: The only thing I do is wish Miles the best, because I do too.
- 8:51[SPEAKER_01]: Miles is just a monster, and I think he's still a monster, a hundred past rusher.
- 8:57[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, you take two, three, sometimes four guys are blocking.
- 9:02[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, you've got to rotate your line toward him wherever you are.
- 9:07[SPEAKER_01]: This kid versus though, I think there's a lot of upside to him.
- 9:10[SPEAKER_01]: I can't wait to see what he's going to do.
- 9:13[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think he's going to be a mouse.
- 9:14[SPEAKER_01]: Garrett, a whole PS.
- 9:15[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know if anybody will be a mouse.
- 9:17[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 9:18[SPEAKER_01]: So they get anybody to see me.
- 9:20[SPEAKER_01]: But still, when you look at our defense, I think we still have a lot of potential there.
- 9:26[SPEAKER_01]: And
- 9:28[SPEAKER_01]: If anyone is upset about miles going, it's got to be those, those defense backs, those corners.
- 9:33[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 9:34[SPEAKER_01]: One thing you know, I'll say this before I leave one thing you know, you've got a miles scared rushing the quarterback, quarterback can't sit back there and hold that ball.
- 9:42[SPEAKER_01]: He's got to get rid of it right away.
- 9:44[SPEAKER_01]: So, but we wish miles the best.
- 9:47[SPEAKER_01]: Absolutely.
- 9:48[SPEAKER_04]: We appreciate you sitting down with us, guys.
- 9:49[SPEAKER_04]: Good to see you.
- 9:51[SPEAKER_00]: There it is.
- 9:53[SPEAKER_05]: One thing out for him, man.
- 9:54[SPEAKER_05]: He's got some kick-ass hoodies here.
- 9:56[SPEAKER_05]: You guys are in the area coming down and get some from.
- 9:59[SPEAKER_05]: I got one.
- 9:59[SPEAKER_05]: He signed it for me.
- 10:01[SPEAKER_05]: So come on down.
- 10:02[SPEAKER_05]: He's wrapping off some bourbon.
- 10:03[SPEAKER_05]: Is that correct?
- 10:04[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's a woof who reserved that Frank and I on the cover and we signed it.
- 10:10[SPEAKER_01]: So get my 20 bucks out right now.
- 10:16[SPEAKER_04]: I think we're about to have another guest all so I think I think we're about to have another guest all so I think we're about to have another guest all so I think we're about to have another guest all so I think we're about to have another guest all so I think we're about to have another guest all so I think we're about to have another guest all so I think we're about to have another guest all so I think we're about to have another guest all so I think we're about to have another guest all so I think we're about to have another guest all so I think we're about to have another guest all so I think we're about to have another guest all so I think we're about to have another guest all so I think
- 10:40[SPEAKER_03]: Bernie's coming over here in a second.
- 10:42[SPEAKER_03]: So it's just hang tight guys stay tuned here.
- 10:44[SPEAKER_03]: We're not going to break or anything But then he just walked hand for back down Yeah, he gets when you get a former Browns players.
- 10:49[SPEAKER_04]: You got to get in the first you can't make them walk back down the button.
- 10:52[SPEAKER_03]: So Yeah, it's fun to date rich asked me escort three guys up here earlier for the autograph stuff And I was like trying to wrangle him up and then I would turn around then they're gone.
- 11:00[SPEAKER_07]: I'm like, where'd they go?
- 11:01[SPEAKER_03]: And one guy's like you can't keep all these guys.
- 11:03[SPEAKER_04]: No, they're just like him for said
- 11:06[SPEAKER_04]: guys never really grow up no we don't we don't really grow up and then when you get a bunch of old teammates together I mean we obviously didn't find the NFL, but if you put us back in Dover's locker room with our old football team it'd be chaos you know it would you know some of us have even seen each other in 20 years and it'd be chaos as it so it's one of those things where like
- 11:28[SPEAKER_04]: these guys get to come back to these kinds of events and I'm sure some of them stay close but you know some of them live in different parts of the country and stuff like that so that they come into these events they haven't seen each other for a while they start tropping swapping old war stories and stuff like that like and it's just do they they have some funny stuff I'm not going to get into it now but there's a particular name I could say and it would have drove him crazy and then Davis said you got to mention this this dude I'm like well what's it going to do like if I go live with this he goes oh you'll find it I'm like I'm
- 11:59[SPEAKER_04]: That's the second time we've got to sit down with a hand for Yeah, he is super funny.
- 12:04[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, yeah, and you could just sit here and just shoot the shit with him for like three hours He is like he's got his own shelf Yeah, and there's a reason he's got his own show because he can just he can just talk and talk and it's just Yeah, he's just so on that out of it.
- 12:16[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, he's a chopper and he's always got his he knows what's going on with the browns And you know, like he says he is tight with Aussie news
- 12:26[SPEAKER_05]: He can, you know, as he can talk where he can talk at this point, he's away from the Ravens and he's retired and they're enjoying their retired life, but yeah, they still have a bit of an end.
- 12:36[SPEAKER_05]: They know what's going on and, you know, there's the way they did it in the 80s, there's the way they do it now.
- 12:41[SPEAKER_05]: There's some things that they could do differently, maybe to make the football game a little bit better, but fun overall talking those guys and, you know.
- 12:50[SPEAKER_03]: I love hearing the stories about how it was different back when they were playing football and just even the training camp stuff.
- 12:58[SPEAKER_03]: Those stories.
- 12:59[SPEAKER_03]: Can you?
- 12:59[SPEAKER_04]: You're significantly older than us.
- 13:04[SPEAKER_06]: Back when these guys play, free agency wasn't what it is today.
- 13:21[SPEAKER_05]: Girl, Fracency didn't start until I believe 93's.
- 13:25[SPEAKER_05]: And that's when Reggie White was the prize player.
- 13:29[SPEAKER_05]: But before that, there was none.
- 13:31[SPEAKER_05]: He's got cut, or you didn't.
- 13:33[SPEAKER_05]: Then there was Plan B free agency.
- 13:36[SPEAKER_05]: I believe in the late 80's up to 93.
- 13:40[SPEAKER_05]: But still it was kind of like you were done in your contract and you could sign at a specific time.
- 13:44[SPEAKER_05]: And June 1st cuts were like a bigger thing, not necessarily moving bonuses around that kind of thing.
- 13:51[SPEAKER_05]: But even if you guys take a look away from free agency, sometimes you get the old NFL clips.
- 13:56[SPEAKER_05]: It's just a form.
- 13:57[SPEAKER_05]: It can be part of on Facebook.
- 13:59[SPEAKER_05]: They used to post the top player salaries.
- 14:02[SPEAKER_05]: And I remember like 84, it was like Tom Cusino for the Browns.
- 14:09[SPEAKER_05]: I'm not sitting up now if you don't get, you really, if you don't get five million dollars.
- 14:13[SPEAKER_03]: I just got what, half a bill.
- 14:15[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 14:16[SPEAKER_04]: I'm just saying like, you can see the tightness with some of these guys since we, I feel like some of it is, you joined the team and then you were on that team.
- 14:25[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, you know what I mean there was no like so like these guys that they went to you know They played together for lengths of contracts like so like when he said we had each other's back It was like it was just a different team atmosphere.
- 14:36[SPEAKER_04]: There wasn't the roster turnover that there is I mean like look at the Browns roster this year Yeah, it's there there's almost especially on the offensive side of all there's almost nobody back
- 14:47[SPEAKER_04]: It's like almost like 75% roster turned over from one year to the next.
- 14:51[SPEAKER_04]: Nobody replaces their entire offensive line.
- 14:53[SPEAKER_04]: It's unheard of.
- 14:54[SPEAKER_04]: Last time we did that, it was called the expansion team.
- 14:56[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 14:57[SPEAKER_04]: You know what I mean?
- 14:57[SPEAKER_04]: So just like when he was talking about the tight knitness and getting to see these guys and they've been friends forever.
- 15:02[SPEAKER_04]: It's just like once they were on the Browns, they were on the Browns.
- 15:05[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 15:06[SPEAKER_04]: And then they just, that's what they wore.
- 15:08[SPEAKER_04]: They were Cleveland Browns.
- 15:10[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, I wanted to have it racked for years.
- 15:12[SPEAKER_05]: And him and Ernest were together.
- 15:14[SPEAKER_05]: And then Metcalf came along.
- 15:15[SPEAKER_05]: Metcalf was on for about at least five years.
- 15:17[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, right, just from the quarterback.
- 15:19[SPEAKER_05]: Because I saw what's burning my entire high school and university career.
- 15:24[SPEAKER_05]: You know what I mean?
- 15:24[SPEAKER_03]: So, which is why I think a lot of fans, and I understand, like I'm there too.
- 15:29[SPEAKER_03]: I've miles Garrett, David and Joku.
- 15:32[SPEAKER_03]: Some of these guys were on the Browns for almost a decade.
- 15:35[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I knew it.
- 15:36[SPEAKER_03]: You had.
- 15:37[SPEAKER_03]: You've Denzel Ward's been here now for eight, right?
- 15:40[SPEAKER_03]: He was just a year after them, I think.
- 15:42[SPEAKER_03]: So yeah, you get some of these long ten year guys and you start to really just believe they're going to be here forever.
- 15:48[SPEAKER_03]: And they're going to retire or brown.
- 15:49[SPEAKER_04]: And you grew up with them being on that.
- 15:51[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, think about it, when Miles Garrett got to this team, I was 26, which doesn't sound them much younger, but I was way dumber.
- 15:59[SPEAKER_04]: in a different time, in different times, in a kid, six.
- 16:02[SPEAKER_04]: So then, yeah, so you grew up with these guys on your team, but we're getting older so are they.
- 16:10[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, you know, I mean, it's like, as we, I mean, Kenny can attest to this.
- 16:15[SPEAKER_04]: There's going to be roster turnover throughout your life.
- 16:19[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I think it's going to pick on Kenny, you're just going with it.
- 16:23[SPEAKER_04]: Now that's good.
- 16:24[SPEAKER_04]: Normally, I just make fun of them for 10 centimeters.
- 16:29[SPEAKER_03]: are university universe.
- 16:30[SPEAKER_04]: I was just telling my wife about that.
- 16:32[SPEAKER_04]: I said, he they like to call it university and she was like, that's what everybody calls it except for us.
- 16:37[SPEAKER_04]: I was like, yeah, but we do it right.
- 16:43[SPEAKER_03]: it's super funny I wanted to say about you know I have to mention you know Jared person and we feel good about him moving forward But he's no miles we talked about that But if you think about it the last nine Super Bowl winning teams haven't had miles Garrett on the roster So at you don't
- 17:01[SPEAKER_03]: don't have to have that guy, a one guy to say, well, not now we can never compete for Super Bowl.
- 17:06[SPEAKER_03]: Yes, we have a young core now, I think that if it, if it, if they grown to develop the way we anticipate with a good coaching staff.
- 17:14[SPEAKER_03]: Like you said, we could be a year away from actually making some noise.
- 17:17[SPEAKER_03]: This year, I think this year is going to be an up and down season.
- 17:20[SPEAKER_03]: You're going to see mistakes.
- 17:22[SPEAKER_03]: We're going to have some real, I think we're going to have some really freaking fun moments.
- 17:25[SPEAKER_03]: This year, like with the talent on this roster, there's going to be some really good Sunday, some really fun times.
- 17:30[SPEAKER_05]: I have some plot returns.
- 17:31[SPEAKER_05]: This is going to be some good stuff.
- 17:32[SPEAKER_03]: And there's going to be some games where we go away saying, well, we blew that one.
- 17:35[SPEAKER_03]: We just didn't have it.
- 17:36[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 17:36[SPEAKER_04]: I just, I think,
- 17:39[SPEAKER_04]: I think at least from the creativity standpoint, the offense will be more exciting.
- 17:44[SPEAKER_04]: Are we going to get the numbers?
- 17:46[SPEAKER_04]: I don't know yet with five new offensive linemen, don't know who the quarterback's going to be, all the young receivers.
- 17:51[SPEAKER_04]: I don't know what kind of numbers, but we're going to see pre-snap motion.
- 17:55[SPEAKER_03]: Yes, you know with a purpose not just for the sake of this.
- 18:00[SPEAKER_04]: Yes, and it's going to be consistent You could tell when the Browns are like, oh, we haven't ran motion crap.
- 18:07[SPEAKER_04]: We were going to run more motion today And then they would do it like one play and I wouldn't do it again for a quarter or they called in and then the two guys would go and it's like, no wait I wasn't but then we get call for penalty
- 18:15[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, you know, like this is going to be we're going to have pre-stand motion stuff like all the time, you know, so I am looking forward to like just the different style of offense.
- 18:26[SPEAKER_04]: What kind of numbers we're going to get out of it?
- 18:28[SPEAKER_04]: I don't know yet, but I do think it'll be, you know, more creative and stuff like that.
- 18:33[SPEAKER_04]: So.
- 18:36[SPEAKER_03]: This episode is sponsored by Kaoshi.
- 18:39[SPEAKER_03]: All right, Browns Vand, you know, we've all messed around with the sports books before, right?
- 18:42[SPEAKER_03]: And let's be honest, you're always kind of playing into the house.
- 18:45[SPEAKER_03]: But with Kaoshi, it's different.
- 18:47[SPEAKER_03]: You're not betting against some sports book.
- 18:50[SPEAKER_03]: You're trading against other real-world people.
- 18:52[SPEAKER_03]: There's no house trying to beat you Kaoshi just runs the marketplace.
- 18:56[SPEAKER_03]: So if you think the public is wrong, like everybody's overreacting to these smoke screens in the draft or sleeping on a prospect, you can literally take the other side of the market.
- 19:06[SPEAKER_03]: And it's not just sports either.
- 19:07[SPEAKER_03]: You can trade on other real-world stuff, interest rates, inflation, even wild weather outcomes.
- 19:12[SPEAKER_03]: It works like this, simple yes or no markets, your risk is capped up front and your payout is locked in.
- 19:17[SPEAKER_03]: So if you trust your takes and instincts, and I know you guys do, go check out Cowshin's see what markets are live right now.
- 19:23[SPEAKER_03]: So head over to kowshi.com slash dogs, k-a-l-s-h-i-dot-com slash dogs, d-a-w-g-s, deposit just $20 and Cowshin's gonna match you, they're gonna put $20 free into your account.
- 19:35[SPEAKER_03]: That's a great deal to get started.
- 19:36[SPEAKER_03]: So again, calshie.com slash dogs $20 match when you deposit $20 into your account.
- 19:48[SPEAKER_03]: Run game.
- 19:49[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 19:50[SPEAKER_03]: You heard for game yards for average or yards for attempt because it can't get much worse.
- 19:55[SPEAKER_03]: Our guys were averaging 2, 2.3 yards a carry last year.
- 19:58[SPEAKER_03]: We had the lowest yards before contact for all of our running backs in the entire league last year.
- 20:03[SPEAKER_03]: It was horrible.
- 20:04[SPEAKER_03]: So that really that can only get better.
- 20:08[SPEAKER_04]: Obviously, steam wise, we can do better things, Kevin had issues with that.
- 20:14[SPEAKER_04]: But I do think he took a ton of blame with how bad the offense was, and I don't know if some people understand just how bad the offensive line was last year, and the year before, but definitely last year, like,
- 20:27[SPEAKER_04]: you are not going to put up points if you can't block anybody.
- 20:32[SPEAKER_04]: If you can't pass block or run block, you are not going to be able to move the ball.
- 20:36[SPEAKER_04]: It's going to be extremely difficult to move the ball and we saw that.
- 20:40[SPEAKER_04]: So just by
- 20:42[SPEAKER_04]: improving the offensive line.
- 20:45[SPEAKER_04]: The offense could look better.
- 20:46[SPEAKER_04]: I think if you we kept the coach and all the same players a but replace the line even Kevin's offense would look better.
- 20:53[SPEAKER_04]: Would it be more creative and put up the numbers we want?
- 20:56[SPEAKER_04]: Probably not.
- 20:57[SPEAKER_04]: But just by improving the offensive line, the offense is going to look better.
- 21:01[SPEAKER_05]: So just look at this Chicago game last year.
- 21:03[SPEAKER_05]: Like that offensive line was awful in that.
- 21:05[SPEAKER_05]: That they outputted one of the worst offensive performances.
- 21:09[SPEAKER_05]: like in history, it was bad.
- 21:11[SPEAKER_03]: It was bad, that game.
- 21:12[SPEAKER_05]: And again, like, how do you evaluate a Shidorah Sanders in that?
- 21:15[SPEAKER_05]: How do you even with a Dillon Gabriel?
- 21:18[SPEAKER_05]: How do you evaluate some of the poor play in that?
- 21:21[SPEAKER_05]: Like, the receivers weren't on time because he, somebody let somebody go or miss an assignment or it was just tough, you know?
- 21:30[SPEAKER_04]: Your best football teams are built inside out.
- 21:32[SPEAKER_04]: Offensive line and defensive line.
- 21:35[SPEAKER_04]: If you, I don't care what you have on the,
- 21:39[SPEAKER_04]: There's a team with a better quarterback running back wide receiver combination in the league than the Bengals.
- 21:45[SPEAKER_04]: They got a dog crap offensive line and defensive line and they can't do anything.
- 21:51[SPEAKER_04]: They got they had a miraculous run to the Super Bowl four years when the offense but I mean
- 21:57[SPEAKER_04]: You'd have to think if you're the Bengals and you've had Joe Burro, Jamar Chase, Teahagans, Boyd, Joe Nixon, and now Chase Brown.
- 22:08[SPEAKER_04]: You wouldn't expect to be more of a contender than what you've been, outside of the one Super Bowl run.
- 22:15[SPEAKER_05]: The score 40 points the game is, first of all, they allow 41, so it's like, you can have all the flashy pieces.
- 22:22[SPEAKER_05]: Look at their high-state buck guys.
- 22:24[SPEAKER_04]: Just this last season.
- 22:26[SPEAKER_04]: You got, you got Jeremiah Smith, Coronel, Tate, Julian, Sanyon.
- 22:30[SPEAKER_04]: You got all the Jackson.
- 22:32[SPEAKER_04]: Go Jackson.
- 22:33[SPEAKER_04]: You got all these shiny toys, but the offensive line couldn't block a soul.
- 22:38[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, he didn't do it.
- 22:39[SPEAKER_04]: And when they played a team that was tough in the trenches, they couldn't run the ball.
- 22:44[SPEAKER_04]: And when they couldn't run the ball, all the sudden passing ball became extremely difficult because you were one dimensional and then we look what happened to the buck up.
- 22:53[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 22:53[SPEAKER_05]: Being one dimensional man, that's tough, so they really get on you in the NFL to hold different beasts when you're one dimensional.
- 22:59[SPEAKER_04]: So you're just not going to win games with the bat off at the bottom.
- 23:02[SPEAKER_04]: Take another wood shed man.
- 23:04[SPEAKER_03]: You mentioned a name a minute ago, I just wanted to throw this out there because I haven't had a chance to talk really to you at all about it.
- 23:10[SPEAKER_03]: What a difference a year has made for Dylan Gabriel.
- 23:14[SPEAKER_03]: Dude gets drafted in third round.
- 23:16[SPEAKER_03]: Comes in immediately takes first team reps.
- 23:18[SPEAKER_03]: He's getting run with the starters.
- 23:20[SPEAKER_03]: All summer, all camp, all training camp, preseason, everything.
- 23:24[SPEAKER_03]: A year later, he can't even get a jersey number.
- 23:29[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, it's, is that not kind of, you know, telling on how that pick was made and what maybe the people that are still here, meaning the front office actually felt about it.
- 23:40[SPEAKER_03]: Because if they were like, yeah, we really wanted this guy.
- 23:42[SPEAKER_03]: I think they push a little more like he needs to be heard as quarterback come to sure.
- 23:45[SPEAKER_03]: Like, we had two guys make them compete.
- 23:49[SPEAKER_03]: We'll see.
- 23:50[SPEAKER_03]: I don't even know if he makes the roster.
- 23:51[SPEAKER_03]: No, I think they he'll get who either there's going to if there's a way in your berry can trade him he will.
- 23:56[SPEAKER_03]: I don't think that's going to happen I just think there's no one virtually zero market the only thing is he's a and I know it It might not be legitimate, but he's a former third round pick who's made what seven starts as a rookie So he's got a little experience somebody might get a bad injury in camp and say we just need somebody who's got experience.
- 24:11[SPEAKER_03]: Okay
- 24:12[SPEAKER_03]: But I think most likely thing is he gets waved as roster cut downs, and then he goes through waivers and we put him on practice.
- 24:18[SPEAKER_04]: And I think he's Ken, he's written him for him on the Montreal Canadians or whatever, what are some of the things that he's got on the bottom of our red flag.
- 24:28[SPEAKER_04]: He's written for you the bottom of our red flag.
- 24:30[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, man.
- 24:31[SPEAKER_04]: Our last quarterback for turnovers or he'll be in the UFL with Dorian Thompson Robinson.
- 24:35[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, you know what, playing quarterback in the NFL, hopefully we're going to talk to one who did here in a minute, but that's not very many guys can do that.
- 24:44[SPEAKER_03]: Not very many people get the opportunity, and not very many people can actually do it.
- 24:48[SPEAKER_03]: So,
- 24:50[SPEAKER_03]: Dylan Gabriel, like I said the other day, hell of a college quarterback.
- 24:53[SPEAKER_03]: You can't take that away from it.
- 24:54[SPEAKER_03]: Like, dude, it's really good.
- 24:56[SPEAKER_04]: When we drafted him, I think we all kind of went, like, oh, maybe, that's kind of, you know, because, I mean, I'm watching the torch of the buck guys.
- 25:03[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 25:04[SPEAKER_04]: You know, so I was like, I'm sneaky and trained.
- 25:07[SPEAKER_04]: But it was just apparent basically from the second he stepped on to the football field that he didn't belong.
- 25:14[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, he's tall pitch.
- 25:15[SPEAKER_04]: He's staying next to Shador.
- 25:17[SPEAKER_04]: Who Shador's not even overly huge guy.
- 25:20[SPEAKER_04]: And he towers over Dillon Gabriel in height, like with everything.
- 25:28[SPEAKER_04]: It's just like at some point you are too small, play in the league.
- 25:33[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, some guys have been able to defy that a little bit.
- 25:36[SPEAKER_03]: You've got, obviously, Bryce Young is tiny, but he's making it work.
- 25:40[SPEAKER_04]: CFL height, man.
- 25:41[SPEAKER_04]: So they're going to need to learn for a backup.
- 25:43[SPEAKER_04]: Tim and Green isn't going to be ready.
- 25:44[SPEAKER_04]: Well, the backup will be either to Sean or should do it.
- 25:46[SPEAKER_03]: Exactly.
- 25:46[SPEAKER_03]: So I think let's speak to that real quick, too, because the Browns will only have three quarterbacks on their active roster.
- 25:53[SPEAKER_03]: and then one on the practice squad and then I can't imagine they make more than two of them active on game days because that would just take away a roster spot from the line or somewhere else.
- 26:01[SPEAKER_03]: So it's going to be to Sean and Shador as you're one and two in either order and then they just drafted tail and green in the six round and I don't think they want to risk trying to wave him.
- 26:12[SPEAKER_03]: He won't make it through waivers because he's got the athletic traits.
- 26:15[SPEAKER_03]: Another team will claim them.
- 26:17[SPEAKER_04]: Here's how I'll say this though.
- 26:20[SPEAKER_04]: I think Dylan Gabriel has a better chance to be a quarterback in the NFL than Taylor Greene.
- 26:26[SPEAKER_04]: But Taylor Greene has a better chance to be a player on an NFL team, more than Dylan Gabriel does.
- 26:32[SPEAKER_04]: If I watch this guy throw, it ain't good.
- 26:35[SPEAKER_04]: There's dude, I throw a better football than he does.
- 26:38[SPEAKER_04]: It's bad.
- 26:39[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, he throws like,
- 26:41[SPEAKER_04]: He's like this.
- 26:42[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 26:42[SPEAKER_04]: One.
- 26:43[SPEAKER_04]: He's got that.
- 26:44[SPEAKER_05]: He's got a winery.
- 26:46[SPEAKER_05]: He doesn't have a in a short.
- 26:48[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 26:49[SPEAKER_04]: He was a freak athlete in college, but he was never a good quarterback.
- 26:53[SPEAKER_04]: At least Don Gabriel was a high-spin finalist quarterback at a big time college.
- 26:57[SPEAKER_03]: Yes.
- 26:57[SPEAKER_03]: You know, he was a inflation rate touchdown.
- 27:00[SPEAKER_03]: Yes.
- 27:00[SPEAKER_03]: Low picks.
- 27:01[SPEAKER_04]: Taylor Greene has never been a good quarterback.
- 27:04[SPEAKER_03]: That's just a freak.
- 27:06[SPEAKER_03]: Yes, and which is why I think the Terrell prior route is probably the best thing for him.
- 27:10[SPEAKER_03]: He's just, yes, some of these guys I get it.
- 27:12[SPEAKER_03]: You've been a quarterback, you're 20, whatever, 23.
- 27:15[SPEAKER_03]: You got the ego as a quarterback.
- 27:16[SPEAKER_03]: I understand that you, you got the pride.
- 27:18[SPEAKER_03]: I want, I'm a quarterback.
- 27:20[SPEAKER_03]: No, you're not.
- 27:22[SPEAKER_03]: They're like, you just said, no, you're not.
- 27:23[SPEAKER_03]: Like, just make that switch, commit to being, go into that athleticism, I mean, you could be a legitimate NFL player.
- 27:31[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, and like you said, you, I think you put out videos about this.
- 27:34[SPEAKER_04]: We can't keep him as a third quarterback to have run packages for and stuff because you're not going to do that.
- 27:42[SPEAKER_03]: Nice to meet you.
- 27:43[SPEAKER_03]: Hey, Bernie, nice to meet you.
- 27:50[SPEAKER_04]: So, all right guys, here we go.
- 27:52[SPEAKER_04]: Cut off mid-sentence by the legend.
- 27:54[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, I'm beatin' it.
- 27:56[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, you're beatin' one.
- 27:57[SPEAKER_04]: We're gonna win.
- 28:01[SPEAKER_03]: All right, can you hear us okay?
- 28:03[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I'm awesome.
- 28:04[SPEAKER_03]: You sound great too.
- 28:05[SPEAKER_04]: Welcome to the dogs podcast.
- 28:07[SPEAKER_04]: Our coolest guest of all time.
- 28:09[SPEAKER_04]: Yes, he's one and only Bernie Cousar.
- 28:11[SPEAKER_02]: Thank you, thanks for sawing my cranium, right off the bat.
- 28:14[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, well, time, thank you.
- 28:18[SPEAKER_03]: We'll just head set for you a little bit there, but yeah.
- 28:20[SPEAKER_02]: This is, uh, this is a widening.
- 28:22[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, yeah, the cranium keeps going.
- 28:26[SPEAKER_04]: Uh, we're super pumped to have Bernie here, first at the event, sit down with us.
- 28:30[SPEAKER_04]: This is, thank you for taking the time to sit down with us.
- 28:32[SPEAKER_04]: This is awesome.
- 28:34[SPEAKER_04]: Uh, so I guess let's talk about the event a little bit while we're here.
- 28:38[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 28:38[SPEAKER_04]: How cool is this?
- 28:39[SPEAKER_02]: Awesome.
- 28:40[SPEAKER_02]: One, health wise, six and a half months, post this transplant.
- 28:43[SPEAKER_02]: I'll be here today on the Saturday morning, being able to pretend bowl.
- 28:48[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 28:49[SPEAKER_02]: I could, though, throw a couple token rocks down there with this bad flipper.
- 28:54[SPEAKER_02]: Bella Check wasn't all off when he said diminishing skills.
- 28:58[SPEAKER_02]: It's definitely diminishing bowling skills at 62.
- 29:02[SPEAKER_02]: You're guys ages.
- 29:03[SPEAKER_02]: I actually was kind of good at bowling.
- 29:05[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 29:06[SPEAKER_04]: See, but you look great.
- 29:07[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 29:08[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 29:08[SPEAKER_04]: It's awesome.
- 29:09[SPEAKER_04]: It's getting to see you.
- 29:12[SPEAKER_04]: It's just been great.
- 29:13[SPEAKER_04]: See, and you've been able to recover and everything.
- 29:14[SPEAKER_04]: The stock browns football a little bit here.
- 29:19[SPEAKER_02]: Are you excited?
- 29:19[SPEAKER_02]: We have to untogged.
- 29:21[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 29:21[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 29:21[SPEAKER_02]: That's a pretty requisite.
- 29:23[SPEAKER_04]: What do you, are you excited for the brown season?
- 29:26[SPEAKER_04]: Are you excited for the new regime?
- 29:27[SPEAKER_04]: What do you think the team's going to be like this year?
- 29:31[SPEAKER_02]: Um, I, I should probably think through the answer.
- 29:35[SPEAKER_02]: Um, it's altered a little bit.
- 29:38[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 29:38[SPEAKER_02]: Since my also is traded, you know, that makes things, um, from, um, I think a player, I'm a wannabe psychologist as an old man.
- 29:46[SPEAKER_02]: I'm the fourth quarter of my life and stuff.
- 29:49[SPEAKER_02]: And, um, I, I'm a big fan of Shador.
- 29:54[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 29:54[SPEAKER_02]: And I, um, and I, I really don't get
- 29:59[SPEAKER_02]: I really don't get where and I've kind of watched enough and I've had my health issues so I've been a little preoccupied as to not devouring every fact that's out there in the football world and in the Browns world, I'm particular.
- 30:13[SPEAKER_02]: But as a guy who just loves football and for the last decade has followed his his intently as I had the first 62 years of my life.
- 30:22[SPEAKER_02]: I don't see anything wrong with what should Lord does.
- 30:25[SPEAKER_02]: I love his personality, like I give people all the only good good personality, like, are you crazy?
- 30:31[SPEAKER_02]: That's one of the greatest coolest personalities, happy he talks, he goes out to all these kind of events, he's amazing on this off time, hanging out with high school kids and junior high kids and the influence he makes, his team mates look up to him, he has confidence and belief in himself,
- 30:51[SPEAKER_02]: Us quarterbacks we are victims are beneficiaries of the guys around us, and I'm not looking to say anything negative that gets me in trouble, but the Browns were poor last year on offense.
- 31:02[SPEAKER_02]: And we were didn't, and then we had injuries at the end of the year.
- 31:06[SPEAKER_02]: And for Shador to come in and play productively.
- 31:10[SPEAKER_02]: Thank you.
- 31:10[SPEAKER_02]: At the end of the year, when the line was woeful, I'm not, again, the receivers were non-existent.
- 31:18[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, and he made plays now.
- 31:21[SPEAKER_02]: I wish we drafted Andrew Barry like this one.
- 31:24[SPEAKER_02]: I was playing a lot in the 2 series with the first okay now 30 some picks Okay, but now to see him play with three weapons Okay, and some signing on the offensive line like I'm really looking forward to that
- 31:41[SPEAKER_02]: I actually, you know, and I tend to always want to be positive, but my Pinocchio nose has grown extensively longer since the teams come back in 99 because here we are in June.
- 31:53[SPEAKER_02]: I wouldn't want to be negative here, you know.
- 31:56[SPEAKER_02]: So sometimes, I can't not say a lie, but I wanted to find the positive stuff of that.
- 32:02[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not just, I wasn't just doing that this year because I really do believe that, which should or, and then the defense and miles I was into that.
- 32:13[SPEAKER_02]: The trade, okay, the kid commoners are good players, nobody's miles though.
- 32:18[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, and Miles Altar is the whole game, so like, how now are we gonna be with that?
- 32:25[SPEAKER_02]: And it's very important for Coach Bonken to really, and he gets it as an older, older coach with his first chance, is when sometimes you trade your best player, what is the rest of us guys, thank you.
- 32:40[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, like are we playing for 20 another couple years from now so that's dangerous to where What the rest of the locker room is thinking and that's where sometimes again
- 32:56[SPEAKER_02]: I should do her could actually galvanize you.
- 32:59[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 32:59[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, during that cause you're gonna need that now.
- 33:02[SPEAKER_02]: Somebody to galvanize and lead the team because we were...
- 33:08[SPEAKER_02]: They were looking up to miles.
- 33:10[SPEAKER_02]: You know, now that that guy is not there, somebody needs to be the guy.
- 33:14[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I think getting Jared verse back in the trade does speak to like we're not just giving up on the season You know, we were looking for the future, but we can play right now with Jared verse.
- 33:24[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, we absolutely can It's good and and he's a gifted young man.
- 33:29[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, there's no doubt about that It's just What is everybody else think from a young player perspective, you know, is it?
- 33:40[SPEAKER_02]: am I going to throw my body out there okay with no concern for the future like what you really want your guys to think or they think it oh hey they're thinking about the future should I think about the future because my angle's bothered me today so I shouldn't I take the shot in there to go out and play okay or I have the secondary tear of my ACL okay should I play today
- 34:03[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, no.
- 34:04[SPEAKER_02]: I always play.
- 34:06[SPEAKER_02]: That's why I do surgeries all the time and I have to do all this health and wellness stuff.
- 34:10[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, it's figure now.
- 34:12[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, all right.
- 34:13[SPEAKER_02]: When I was playing and stuff, I was like, okay, God, I could play through this because technology will get better and you smart people will figure it out and you figure out that I had to figure it out myself.
- 34:24[SPEAKER_04]: This is the first time I've ever been called one of the smart people, so actually, now who's that's getting that right?
- 34:30[SPEAKER_04]: I do think there's a lot to say, like, people misconstrued Shadour's personality in his confidence is like, he thinks he's better or cock it.
- 34:40[SPEAKER_04]: I think in order, you know, you have to bully yourself.
- 34:43[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, it's a high school.
- 34:44[SPEAKER_02]: When you do the turn upon dudes running around and kill you, you better have some confidence in belief.
- 34:50[SPEAKER_02]: Like, that's, that's the awesome trait.
- 34:52[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, they don't neuter that.
- 34:54[SPEAKER_04]: If you don't believe in yourself, I would these guys believe in you.
- 34:57[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, like, absolutely don't neuter that.
- 35:00[SPEAKER_02]: Don't surpass that belief.
- 35:03[SPEAKER_02]: Because that, um, um,
- 35:06[SPEAKER_02]: My biggest mentor in my first coach was Howard Snellenberger.
- 35:10[SPEAKER_02]: He was the offensive coordinator for the 72 dolphins and Dodge Shula.
- 35:14[SPEAKER_02]: One, the only undefeated teams won the Super Bowl 1983 in the University of Miami.
- 35:20[SPEAKER_02]: We won a national championship.
- 35:22[SPEAKER_02]: And he said, he had this massive belief to believe as to be strong.
- 35:27[SPEAKER_02]: And you can believe in yourself.
- 35:28[SPEAKER_02]: You could will and believe yourself to
- 35:31[SPEAKER_02]: Things and you can make everybody else believe and Shador.
- 35:35[SPEAKER_02]: I believe has that it to make you believe You're good.
- 35:39[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, the mate.
- 35:40[SPEAKER_02]: I can make you believe you're smart.
- 35:41[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, I didn't.
- 35:42[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, and that's and that belief that that belief is what makes you strong and successful and and he has it
- 35:51[SPEAKER_05]: He has mind over matter man mind over matter that's what you're getting at and that's what she door has Again, I'm like you.
- 35:56[SPEAKER_05]: I don't I don't get the negativity part.
- 35:58[SPEAKER_05]: He is for whatever raising a polar rising guy And I don't know if it's as dad is part of that or whatever dad's a winner too
- 36:06[SPEAKER_07]: That's why he took over games as why he has a number of super bowls, you know what I mean?
- 36:10[SPEAKER_05]: But talk about the guys that were like influences in your life, you go from
- 36:25[SPEAKER_05]: The coach you just mentioned yet Jimmy Johnson then you have Marty shot and Hymer go back to Jimmy Johnson and How was all that so I I As I drive down here today and I go past a pro football Hall of Fame on my drive now on 77.
- 36:44[SPEAKER_02]: I think of how are snowmen?
- 36:48[SPEAKER_02]: Jimmy Johnson.
- 36:49[SPEAKER_02]: So proud to be the only guy to play with Jimmy Johnson three times.
- 36:53[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 36:53[SPEAKER_02]: The University of Miami, the Dallas Cowboys, and then again with the Miami Dolphins to have to have Marty Shottenheimer to have Bill Bellachek to have Bud Carson to have Don Shula.
- 37:06[SPEAKER_02]: One of the great win of the greatest calls I ever had.
- 37:08[SPEAKER_02]: I played the...
- 37:11[SPEAKER_02]: I played a money night football game, I think, in 1990, and we're playing the Dolphins, and Shul is the coach on the other team, and in the first drive of the game, frigging off her doll breaks my ankle.
- 37:25[SPEAKER_02]: Five after nine the game started nine o'clock.
- 37:28[SPEAKER_02]: It's five after nine.
- 37:29[SPEAKER_02]: You're a broken ankle, and um, but I didn't know it was badly broken.
- 37:34[SPEAKER_02]: And then I have this phobia of Come here out of the game and then finally got oh, it wasn't broken.
- 37:40[SPEAKER_02]: It was just a high ankle spring.
- 37:41[SPEAKER_02]: That's all
- 37:42[SPEAKER_02]: Oh my god, you can't come out for that and it won't look like up.
- 37:46[SPEAKER_07]: I don't want to see it.
- 37:48[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know if it's okay to do that.
- 37:51[SPEAKER_02]: So I can't come out so like they're like, well we're gonna take the tape off.
- 37:56[SPEAKER_02]: You know, you can't take the tape off and it will swell up.
- 37:59[SPEAKER_02]: So they give me the shot underneath the tape and I'm like, so I play the rest of the game on it and through two touchdowns in the fourth quarter.
- 38:11[SPEAKER_02]: but got marino at the end and then the next morning I'm limping out to the hospital to get checked and darn sugar calls and back then even now you're not opposing coaches aren't a lot of call then a lot of call like the other players yeah he calls me up and it's like
- 38:31[SPEAKER_02]: That was the greatest toughest game I ever had saw in my life.
- 38:34[SPEAKER_02]: I was one of the coolest things for me, and I'm crying this crazy.
- 38:38[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, the opposing coach called me to say that was a greatest thing I ever saw.
- 38:43[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I wouldn't even do this podcast if my got a hang day.
- 38:48[SPEAKER_04]: I don't like typing if it hurts too much.
- 38:50[SPEAKER_05]: I was burning.
- 38:51[SPEAKER_05]: When you were with, what was it?
- 38:54[SPEAKER_05]: I think it was the dolphins.
- 38:56[SPEAKER_05]: And you came up with the spiking thing.
- 38:59[SPEAKER_05]: Did you look that up before was that just like a hay off the top of my head I've always wanted to do that.
- 39:04[SPEAKER_02]: Wow, so that was 1994, I believe we ran a play.
- 39:09[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, so a very first time, so very first time that play was run was in 1986, okay, in the right year, in the Browns practice.
- 39:24[SPEAKER_02]: So I...
- 39:26[SPEAKER_02]: I'm so slow.
- 39:27[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, I'm not saying this to be funny or self-deprecating, but I'm a slow when I can't waste play.
- 39:31[SPEAKER_02]: So I do I could throw the ball away, but I did not like spiking the ball because he's just giving up on a play.
- 39:40[SPEAKER_02]: So you could throw and out.
- 39:43[SPEAKER_02]: a quick out of 6-yard out in 1.3 seconds.
- 39:47[SPEAKER_02]: You can spike the ball in about 0.3 seconds.
- 39:51[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, so there's a delta of that 1 second.
- 39:55[SPEAKER_02]: So I would say like on spike plays or on those clock plays, I would notice the defense backs would be way off or they would be milling around.
- 40:05[SPEAKER_02]: So if they're way off, you can get a six-yard out, either run maybe two yards, take 1.3 seconds, so if it's the 40 yard line, 35 yard line, and you're trying to kick a field goal statistically, a 20 yard goal is easier than a 52 yard goal.
- 40:23[SPEAKER_02]: So you play that move, you play that at the end of the half or at the end of the game for a game when you feel Well then press coverage is happening and I really get excited with that because and now you're standing this close to me And you think I'm gonna clock it.
- 40:38[SPEAKER_02]: Yes, okay, and you're sleeping.
- 40:40[SPEAKER_02]: So I did that in practice drove Marty and Lindy and Fati
- 40:43[SPEAKER_02]: crazy like what the hell are you doing yeah I got to try this I'm into this so we practiced it all during the 86 season the situation didn't come up now if you could picture the jet stubble over time game 1986 okay the end of the second quarter okay yeah
- 41:03[SPEAKER_02]: I do the clock play twice and I hit a quick out and we get a feel goal before the game before the second quarter.
- 41:10[SPEAKER_02]: But it wasn't sexy and I do it subtle so you didn't really know and the guys were off.
- 41:16[SPEAKER_02]: Now I hit Webster down the sideline for that play down to like the two yard line to go into the end of the game.
- 41:24[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, that was when the first time I called the clock play.
- 41:28[SPEAKER_02]: If you remember, I throw it to lab.
- 41:32[SPEAKER_02]: He beat his body.
- 41:33[SPEAKER_02]: He was open.
- 41:33[SPEAKER_02]: I sucked on my throw.
- 41:35[SPEAKER_02]: I under-threw it.
- 41:36[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 41:37[SPEAKER_05]: I don't know.
- 41:39[SPEAKER_02]: Anybody would have been like that.
- 41:40[SPEAKER_02]: Well, it was actually we could have won it.
- 41:42[SPEAKER_02]: It was at the end of the fourth quarter.
- 41:43[SPEAKER_02]: It was right before that field.
- 41:45[SPEAKER_02]: I had it.
- 41:46[SPEAKER_02]: And I used it.
- 41:47[SPEAKER_02]: And they bought it.
- 41:49[SPEAKER_02]: I just sucked.
- 41:50[SPEAKER_02]: Excuse me.
- 41:51[SPEAKER_02]: I sucked on my throw.
- 41:55[SPEAKER_02]: And I practiced that every day everywhere I went from that point forward, so 86878889.
- 42:04[SPEAKER_02]: The situation didn't come up.
- 42:06[SPEAKER_02]: Now I give 90.
- 42:07[SPEAKER_02]: I'm doing that with double check.
- 42:10[SPEAKER_02]: He waxed me in 93.
- 42:11[SPEAKER_02]: So I go to Dallas.
- 42:14[SPEAKER_02]: I implement it with Dallas, but that situation doesn't come up And then I'm a free agent the next year is an eight years later I'm still running at practice because I'm obsessive Okay, so they'll get it right.
- 42:26[SPEAKER_02]: So we do it every day.
- 42:27[SPEAKER_02]: I implement it with the dolphins coach Shula I bless you had a lot of respect for me So he let me implement into his offense that play and then that was the first year
- 42:39[SPEAKER_02]: of 94 was the first year of the microphones or the first second year of it.
- 42:47[SPEAKER_02]: And Coach Shula, so awesome, but he was letting me call the plays.
- 42:54[SPEAKER_02]: So he called the plays, but yet I was the one attached to Dan Moreno.
- 42:59[SPEAKER_02]: okay calling in the place okay so but i said like but look like you were calling i'm but i respect you know to get it right you know i was i was calling them so king came up and Aaron Glenn was a rookie he's now the head coach of the jets yeah so like it comes up and we come back i in the situations up a rookie corner back the clock's running down i'm on the microphone Danny it's a spike spike spike play and we've been
- 43:29[SPEAKER_02]: So yeah, it's a little long-winded for the story, but that's awesome.
- 43:32[SPEAKER_05]: I can, but the point of it is like some of these plays that these guys do.
- 43:37[SPEAKER_05]: Look at how long was it 12 years or whatever it was?
- 43:41[SPEAKER_05]: I'll carry it play it.
- 43:43[SPEAKER_02]: I thought about it for the couple years.
- 43:45[SPEAKER_02]: And I tried it in 86 and I carried it for nine years.
- 43:49[SPEAKER_02]: And now of all the things I did, okay, and I'm super proud of coming up with some of this health and wellness and actually still just being alive.
- 43:58[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, hey, you're coffee.
- 43:59[SPEAKER_05]: I love your coffee, man.
- 44:00[SPEAKER_05]: It's awesome.
- 44:01[SPEAKER_02]: Well, thanks, but that's to be able to sit here and pretend to be intelligent and stuff.
- 44:06[SPEAKER_02]: What is this stuff to do with some of the things I've gone through.
- 44:10[SPEAKER_02]: But now, um...
- 44:13[SPEAKER_02]: you can pick up a high school college or pro game playbook and see not only just everybody has the clock play and everybody has to defend the clock play so I have my own little sections now of everybody's train book because there's evolutions off of that and to see some the evolutions that some of us have put on to that play that's cool super cool so yeah like you always um
- 44:40[SPEAKER_02]: I was in, um, it's looking to want to be psychologist when you least expected expected.
- 44:46[SPEAKER_02]: How you do little things is how you do all things.
- 44:49[SPEAKER_02]: Yep.
- 44:49[SPEAKER_02]: So I always want to be on my game and I always want the other team to think, you know, that they better be on their toes and we're going to get them.
- 44:59[SPEAKER_04]: I love talking to like professional athletes like it and you just like you talked about obsessive and like do the little things like you do ever and it's just like that's what it takes to be It's a pinnacle.
- 45:10[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I mean, thanks and it's even like again as I'm saying it's in the spirit of a joke But it's the why I as I want to be humorist.
- 45:17[SPEAKER_02]: That's why I get fired every three to five years.
- 45:19[SPEAKER_02]: I'm right in announcing games and stuff
- 45:25[SPEAKER_04]: That's just I could just like listen to that kind of stuff and like you're just like I also think it's awesome that you can recall plays from specific games from you know 1986 and stuff like that so just super cool, but
- 45:38[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, to the point where like even like distincting with stealing signals and stuff and the old days everybody did Okay, and like that loves to be Johnson.
- 45:48[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 45:49[SPEAKER_02]: I love him and they were doing a documentary So I'm gonna say only nice things because he needs to be on it But like we're plagiarist Okay, so Jimmy had such a good disciple tree Dave wants to a day camp.
- 46:02[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, but Davis, you know, Jimmy Johnson So they're all great guys.
- 46:06[SPEAKER_02]: They're all my friends and stuff
- 46:08[SPEAKER_02]: But again, you want to beat your friends better than you want to beat anybody.
- 46:11[SPEAKER_02]: So, hey guys, he's the joke with him on still in singles.
- 46:15[SPEAKER_02]: Like...
- 46:16[SPEAKER_02]: They would go four, three, under, cover two.
- 46:21[SPEAKER_02]: Well, that's your fault to that stolen.
- 46:23[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, you deserve that.
- 46:27[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, come on man.
- 46:29[SPEAKER_02]: You got a little more creative.
- 46:30[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, you're the, you're the like the Dallas Cowboys with a big old blue star.
- 46:37[SPEAKER_02]: And then you've got like some guy we're in a big old orange jacket.
- 46:41[SPEAKER_06]: four, three, under, covering two.
- 46:45[SPEAKER_03]: Chief, I wonder what they're running.
- 46:46[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 46:48[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, man.
- 46:49[SPEAKER_04]: Well, we don't want to tie up for the whole event so you can go out and do everything you need to do.
- 46:54[SPEAKER_04]: We really appreciate you sitting down with us.
- 46:56[SPEAKER_04]: This is one of the coolest things I've ever done.
- 46:57[SPEAKER_05]: If you want to know more about Bernie, get his book.
- 47:00[SPEAKER_05]: That was awesome, man.
- 47:01[SPEAKER_05]: That's part of the stuff that Newer is asking you about.
- 47:04[SPEAKER_05]: So if you want to get that, it was like a learned
- 47:07[SPEAKER_02]: Learning the scrambles.
- 47:08[SPEAKER_02]: Yes.
- 47:09[SPEAKER_05]: I got it.

- 47:13[SPEAKER_05]: You will learn a lot about Bernie and the one thing you will learn He knows every play because he knew the playbook Back and forwards man.

- 47:21[SPEAKER_05]: So awesome.
- 47:22[SPEAKER_04]: I appreciate you.
- 47:24[SPEAKER_02]: Thanks guys.
- 47:25[SPEAKER_05]: Thank you Matt.
- 47:25[SPEAKER_03]: Thanks Thanks man.

- 49:23[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, well, that was the coolest thing I've ever done.
- 49:26[SPEAKER_03]: That was, it's the thing, we've now interviewed Joe Thomas and Bernie Cows are on this show.
- 49:31[SPEAKER_05]: Two of the greatest Browns of all time.
- 49:32[SPEAKER_03]: Yes.
- 49:33[SPEAKER_05]: Bernie Cows are, I've left him even before.
- 49:35[SPEAKER_05]: He, you can see he's a firecracker man.
- 49:37[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, man.
- 49:38[SPEAKER_05]: He, he, he, and like, oh, he left his wall.
- 49:40[SPEAKER_05]: Based on all the stuff that he's back, yeah.
- 49:44[SPEAKER_05]: That's the plan.
- 49:45[SPEAKER_05]: I can't take care of my dad's coming back.
- 49:48[SPEAKER_05]: And we're rafting this off, guys.
- 49:52[SPEAKER_05]: But yeah, he remembers everything, he's still a great mind.
- 49:58[SPEAKER_05]: And he does talk a little bit, I've mentioned his book, concussions, that kind of stuff.
- 50:02[SPEAKER_05]: He is with it, he's ready, he's the man.
- 50:06[SPEAKER_05]: And it's a good time talking to that guy.
- 50:09[SPEAKER_03]: I like what he said about Shador Sanders, because coming from a former quarterback who did it at a very high level, you know.
- 50:16[SPEAKER_03]: to what he sees in Shidore and everything because I think a lot of the people that don't like him don't like his fans.
- 50:23[SPEAKER_03]: They don't like Shidore's fans.
- 50:25[SPEAKER_03]: Shidore Sanders himself.
- 50:27[SPEAKER_03]: Can anybody tell me anything that he has done or said that has been bad?
- 50:33[SPEAKER_04]: No, which is why I get so annoyed with some of his fans sometimes.
- 50:36[SPEAKER_04]: Because I'm like, like, they make excuses for him.
- 50:40[SPEAKER_04]: And I'm like, none.
- 50:41[SPEAKER_04]: And I'm like, guys, the person that you're so obsessed with doesn't make these excuses, right?
- 50:45[SPEAKER_04]: He doesn't accept poor play.
- 50:47[SPEAKER_04]: He doesn't accept excuses for why he did or didn't do something.
- 50:51[SPEAKER_04]: He takes accountability for the way he does, so I don't understand why you can't mirror that.
- 50:57[SPEAKER_04]: I think Shador in terms of personality, he's literally exactly what you want.
- 51:01[SPEAKER_03]: Have you been following any of the quarterback competition controversy with the Minnesota Vikings between JJ McCarthy and Colour Murray?
- 51:08[SPEAKER_04]: So I saw like, like a last week or two weeks ago that kind of asked them how I was going and Kyler gave like a really great answer and JJ McCarthy was like a total tool.
- 51:16[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 51:17[SPEAKER_04]: And then now I've heard that like Kyler is like, well, can you be gonna be like that then?
- 51:22[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 51:22[SPEAKER_04]: I'm washing my hands up.
- 51:24[SPEAKER_03]: So you have this situation going on.
- 51:26[SPEAKER_03]: I bring that up because obviously Shidorah was asked the other day by the media about the quarterback competition.
- 51:30[SPEAKER_03]: And I posted this on socials, one to get everybody's opinion.
- 51:33[SPEAKER_03]: I thought his answer was,
- 51:35[SPEAKER_03]: It kind of took me by surprise because he didn't even talk about the competition.
- 51:38[SPEAKER_03]: He's like, you guys look at it as a competition.
- 51:40[SPEAKER_03]: For me, I'm trying to get better than I was yesterday every day.
- 51:44[SPEAKER_06]: Yes.
- 51:44[SPEAKER_03]: And it's like, that speaks to that supreme self-confidence up.
- 51:47[SPEAKER_03]: I'm not even worried about this competition because I have confidence I'm going to win.
- 51:51[SPEAKER_03]: I just need to make sure I'm getting better.
- 51:53[SPEAKER_03]: And I thought that was a very nice answer.
- 51:56[SPEAKER_05]: I thought the quarterback room was over, over the, uh, I thought the quarterback room was over, like, good, like I think they're together and they're a specific unit together that's trying to work to get better.
- 52:09[SPEAKER_05]: Regardless of the situation where they're going to be in a bit, yeah, absolutely.
- 52:15[SPEAKER_03]: Yes?
- 52:21[UNKNOWN]: Okay, okay, okay, okay, sure
- 52:44[SPEAKER_03]: Okay, yeah, come on, sit down.
- 52:46[SPEAKER_03]: We're going on.
- 52:47[SPEAKER_03]: So now this is a toys for Toss right through the program.
- 52:50[SPEAKER_00]: You're good, put your head on there.
- 52:52[SPEAKER_00]: What's your name?
- 52:54[SPEAKER_00]: My name's Aden.
- 52:54[SPEAKER_00]: Aden Ders.
- 52:55[SPEAKER_00]: Nice to meet you, man.
- 52:56[SPEAKER_00]: Nice to meet you.
- 52:56[SPEAKER_00]: Are you Brown's fan?
- 52:58[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, no, yeah, we can't do this.
- 53:00[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 53:03[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, yeah.
- 53:03[SPEAKER_00]: All right, you don't know why we're here for you.
- 53:06[SPEAKER_00]: Say it.
- 53:07[SPEAKER_00]: The one and only steel is like, oh, I knew it.
- 53:09[SPEAKER_00]: I knew it.
- 53:10[SPEAKER_03]: I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry.
- 53:12[SPEAKER_03]: It's okay.
- 53:13[SPEAKER_03]: They've got to play in Cleveland and lose again this year.
- 53:15[SPEAKER_05]: It's okay, it was giving out.
- 53:17[SPEAKER_05]: I got it.
- 53:18[SPEAKER_05]: It's all good, bro.
- 53:19[SPEAKER_05]: I got this conversation in the Kaihoga Falls Irish Festival last night.
- 53:24[SPEAKER_05]: This guy's sitting next to me is a suit.
- 53:25[SPEAKER_05]: I'm like, how is it that you were born here in New York City?
- 53:28[SPEAKER_05]: New York City.
- 53:29[SPEAKER_05]: He goes because I didn't have a team for three years.
- 53:31[SPEAKER_05]: I go, ah, well, that makes sense.
- 53:33[SPEAKER_03]: One of one of our really good friends is a Steelers fan.
- 53:36[SPEAKER_03]: He pitched for the Indians.
- 53:37[SPEAKER_03]: Percy.
- 53:38[SPEAKER_03]: So we give him a hard time.
- 53:40[SPEAKER_03]: All right, we're the ones who lose.
- 53:41[SPEAKER_04]: So before we let you read, we're here with the southeast Toys for Tots.
- 53:45[SPEAKER_04]: Here, Hall of Fame, Lane's, and I'll follow it with the pros event.
- 53:49[SPEAKER_04]: Great raising money for Toys for Tots has been a great benefit so far.
- 53:52[SPEAKER_04]: We're going to be here to 4 PM.
- 53:54[SPEAKER_04]: Why don't you tell, what do you got to do here, man?
- 53:56[SPEAKER_04]: I got to read a book.
- 53:57[SPEAKER_04]: OK, you have to read it to a million people?
- 53:59[SPEAKER_04]: Yes.
- 54:00[SPEAKER_00]: That's my challenge all right.
- 54:01[SPEAKER_04]: How many of you how many of you read to you so far?
- 54:03[SPEAKER_04]: I think fit 500,000 500,000 so far got it got a den So yeah, you do So he's we're gonna let him read this book.
- 54:12[SPEAKER_04]: We're gonna reach as many people as we can help him hit his goal So take it away whenever you're ready.
- 54:16[SPEAKER_00]: All right, uh this book called be fast be super here by regime and Rilla and I and Rula
- 54:26[SPEAKER_00]: In a small sunny town, 11 amazing little boy named Sam.
- 54:29[SPEAKER_00]: Sam loved three things the most.
- 54:31[SPEAKER_00]: Superhero's cars and spending time with his grandma.
- 54:34[SPEAKER_00]: Sam loved wearing his red superhero cape everywhere.
- 54:37[SPEAKER_00]: Grandma always told Sam he was a little superhero and he must always take care of his twin sisters.
- 54:44[SPEAKER_00]: One morning as grandma was about to leave for Morning Walk, Sam stopped, asked her.
- 54:49[SPEAKER_00]: to add breakfast with them.
- 54:51[SPEAKER_00]: Sam and Grandma were having their favorite breakfast, protein pancakes were fruit.
- 54:55[SPEAKER_00]: Just then, Sam noticed something was wrong with Grandma.
- 54:59[SPEAKER_00]: Sam quickly remembered a book he read, and how to check if someone has happened to stroke.
- 55:03[SPEAKER_00]: Here, remember the word be fast.
- 55:07[SPEAKER_00]: Bees are balanced.
- 55:08[SPEAKER_00]: Grandma was feeling dizzy.
- 55:10[SPEAKER_00]: Cannot stand straight.
- 55:11[SPEAKER_00]: That's not right, Sam thought.
- 55:14[SPEAKER_00]: ease for eyes.
- 55:15[SPEAKER_00]: Grandma had trouble seeing our cat Niki.
- 55:18[SPEAKER_00]: Grandma said it must be because her vision was blurry.
- 55:20[SPEAKER_00]: Hmm, that's not right.
- 55:23[SPEAKER_00]: F is for face.
- 55:24[SPEAKER_00]: Grandma's smile was droopy on the right side of her face.
- 55:27[SPEAKER_00]: Normally Grandma's smile really baked for Sam.
- 55:29[SPEAKER_00]: Sam knew something was wrong because Grandma only had half a smile.
- 55:33[SPEAKER_00]: Hmm, that's not right.
- 55:36[SPEAKER_00]: A's arms.
- 55:37[SPEAKER_00]: Sam noticed Grandma was having trouble lifting her right arm and she could not pick up her spin to eat.
- 55:42[SPEAKER_00]: Hmm, that's not right.
- 55:44[SPEAKER_00]: That's his for speech.
- 55:45[SPEAKER_00]: Grandma's speech was garbled and she was not speaking like she normally would.
- 55:49[SPEAKER_00]: Sam could not understand what Grandma was saying.
- 55:53[SPEAKER_00]: She's for time.
- 55:55[SPEAKER_00]: Sam knew time was important.
- 55:57[SPEAKER_00]: He moved with superheroes speed, grab sick grandma's cell phone, off the kitchen counter and call 911 for help.
- 56:05[SPEAKER_00]: What does Sam say to the operator?
- 56:07[SPEAKER_00]: My grandma's not feeling well.
- 56:09[SPEAKER_00]: She hooked, he told her her name, or it is age, and is a dress.
- 56:14[SPEAKER_00]: The friendly operator told Sam that the emergency medical team will be there quickly.
- 56:20[SPEAKER_00]: EMTs arrived to the house to examine grandma.
- 56:22[SPEAKER_00]: We're here to help grandma.
- 56:24[SPEAKER_00]: They asked Sam when was the last time he saw her as normal grandma.
- 56:28[SPEAKER_00]: Sam said, we had breakfast together at 9 a.m., then suddenly I noticed something was wrong.
- 56:33[SPEAKER_00]: Great job, Sam.
- 56:34[SPEAKER_00]: Thank you for calling us so quickly.
- 56:36[SPEAKER_00]: We think grandma is having a stroke.
- 56:38[SPEAKER_00]: Sam asked what is a stroke.
- 56:42[SPEAKER_00]: A stroke is when blood suddenly can't get to your brain, but it's like food for your brain.
- 56:46[SPEAKER_00]: If your brain doesn't get blood, then it can make it hard to walk, talk, whole things and see.
- 56:53[SPEAKER_00]: Don't worry, we will take her to the hospital immediately and get her the help she needs, because your super fast grandma will be just fine.
- 57:00[SPEAKER_00]: They gently took grandma through the ambulance, Sam Watts feels scared, but then remember that grandma always said, he is her super hero.
- 57:07[SPEAKER_00]: Super hero is a brave.
- 57:10[SPEAKER_00]: Inside the ambulance, there are many tools.
- 57:12[SPEAKER_00]: These will help us take care of the grandma, or take care of grandma on the way to the hospital.
- 57:18[SPEAKER_00]: EKG monitor, blood pressure monitor, nasal canal, canola, oxygen tank, and mesocanin.
- 57:29[SPEAKER_00]: At the hospital, doctors and nurses were ready.
- 57:32[SPEAKER_00]: We need to act fast.
- 57:32[SPEAKER_00]: They said, one nurse told Sam it was good.
- 57:35[SPEAKER_00]: He had K because he had to like a superhero mode.
- 57:38[SPEAKER_00]: A sugar neurologist appeared on the screen and said, my name is Dr. Ashley.
- 57:41[SPEAKER_00]: I'm a tele-shark doctor and I will be examining grandma.
- 57:45[SPEAKER_00]: Let's take a picture of her brain in this machine called a CT scanner.
- 57:49[SPEAKER_00]: It tells her doctor reviewed the CT scan of the brain and with the help of wonderful bedside nurse, gave grandma a medicine called Thurmbalix, a clot-busting medicine.
- 58:01[SPEAKER_00]: slowly grandma started moving her on to speaking clearly again.
- 58:04[SPEAKER_00]: Sam was amazed.
- 58:06[SPEAKER_00]: Sam told the nurses that they were superheroes and the cloth buster was their superpower.
- 58:11[SPEAKER_00]: Everyone agreed that Sam was a superhero.
- 58:13[SPEAKER_00]: He recognized the signs of the stroke and had to fast.
- 58:16[SPEAKER_00]: So the doctors Grandma hugs him.
- 58:18[SPEAKER_00]: My little superhero, she said lovingly.
- 58:21[SPEAKER_00]: Sammy even got a ward by his principal.
- 58:24[SPEAKER_00]: Sam said to his class one day, I'll be a real superhero, a doctor, Sammy even more lives, but I'm still keeping the superhero, okay?
- 58:32[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 58:33[SPEAKER_00]: Right now, all right, there we go.
- 58:34[SPEAKER_00]: Thank you.
- 58:35[SPEAKER_00]: That's all for the sign.
- 58:36[SPEAKER_04]: Appreciate you being here.
- 58:37[SPEAKER_04]: I'd like to share.
- 58:39[SPEAKER_04]: Yes, share that.
- 58:40[SPEAKER_04]: He's got to read that to a million people.
- 58:42[SPEAKER_04]: He's about halfway there.
- 58:43[SPEAKER_04]: So we need to get 500,000 views on this video.
- 58:46[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 58:47[SPEAKER_04]: We'll send you a check.
- 58:49[SPEAKER_04]: But hey, we appreciate you being here.
- 58:52[SPEAKER_04]: There's being part of it.
- 58:52[SPEAKER_04]: Nice to meet you.
- 58:53[SPEAKER_04]: Thanks, man.
- 58:53[SPEAKER_04]: Great job.
- 58:54[SPEAKER_07]: Thank you.
- 58:55[SPEAKER_04]: Thank you I'll tell you what grandma's time to like me after I watch the jet's game this year.
- 59:00[SPEAKER_04]: No Oh a second second kick return for a touchdown Oh, man, it'd be nice in the chat
- 59:14[SPEAKER_04]: We really don't need to hear this.
- 59:15[SPEAKER_04]: Well, then get out of here, Jeff Tucker.
- 59:17[SPEAKER_04]: It was for a good cause.
- 59:19[SPEAKER_04]: We do charity things something around here and we're at an event.
- 59:22[SPEAKER_03]: That's all these live events go to.
- 59:24[SPEAKER_03]: You never know.
- 59:25[SPEAKER_03]: You've got to roll a bunch of things.
- 59:26[SPEAKER_05]: At the end of the day, we want to be here and help people out.
- 59:30[SPEAKER_05]: Those people that we're helping out.
- 59:31[SPEAKER_05]: They needed some help and this kid needed some.
- 59:35[SPEAKER_05]: You need you guys to hear this for him.
- 59:37[SPEAKER_05]: Good on him for doing that and you suck for your comment.
- 59:41[SPEAKER_03]: I wouldn't be able to read a book at his age on a live stream, that's for sure.
- 59:45[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, no doubt, but we're going to wrap it up here so we can go, well, so I can get home before I get in trouble and maybe I'll buy some raffle tickets before we do that.
- 59:54[SPEAKER_04]: We got a couple more things we want to mention about events going on.
- 59:57[SPEAKER_04]: First of all, a huge shout out to the Tuscarst County Browns backers for throwing on an event like this, either allowing us to be here to live streamen for you guys to get this talk to a couple of players.
- 1:00:09[SPEAKER_04]: The Tussers County Browns backers are always putting on things like this.
- 1:00:12[SPEAKER_04]: They just had Josh Crib's last weekend at Shenanigans in Dover, which is kind of like their home base, obviously the boy with the pros here today at Hall of Fame Lane's, which we're jumping off here at one, they're going to be here till four o'clock today.
- 1:00:23[SPEAKER_04]: So if you're local, stop out here, it's a great time, and then who they got next weekend?
- 1:00:28[SPEAKER_03]: It's not next weekend.
- 1:00:29[SPEAKER_03]: It's August 1st.
- 1:00:30[SPEAKER_03]: Obviously, if they want to make sure everybody knows a well out of head or in advance here, they got Carlos Bayerga coming.
- 1:00:35[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, I mean, it's behind me and autographed man.
- 1:00:38[SPEAKER_05]: I love Carlos Bayer.
- 1:00:40[SPEAKER_04]: If you're a young pup watching this, you might know that it is Carlos Bayer.
- 1:00:44[SPEAKER_04]: But if you were alive for 90s baseball, in these baseball games, baseball, got it, first of all,
- 1:00:51[SPEAKER_04]: There isn't anything like 90s Indians baseball.
- 1:00:54[SPEAKER_04]: Not as good to it.
- 1:00:55[SPEAKER_04]: That is the pinnacle.
- 1:00:57[SPEAKER_04]: Jacob's field set the record for most consecutive sellouts.
- 1:01:01[SPEAKER_04]: You look at, you watch a Guardians game today.
- 1:01:04[SPEAKER_04]: Unless it's a weekend game or a playoff game, that place is three-force the way it happened.
- 1:01:08[SPEAKER_04]: That was not the case for 90s.
- 1:01:11[SPEAKER_04]: That place, you couldn't get a ticket to an Indians game in the 90s.
- 1:01:14[SPEAKER_04]: It was like...
- 1:01:16[SPEAKER_04]: I still have Jim Tomey, Kenny Lofton, Carlos, by the way, Alreple, put up your manual in here.
- 1:01:21[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, I got this, Sandy Alreple, Robbie Alreple.
- 1:01:24[SPEAKER_03]: Yes, Omar Viscale.
- 1:01:26[SPEAKER_03]: Did you say, you said, man?
- 1:01:27[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, Charlie Eggie, Jared Wright for a season.
- 1:01:31[SPEAKER_04]: Like, guys, the Indians baseball, the greatest teams that never won a world series.
- 1:01:38[SPEAKER_04]: Oh my god.
- 1:01:38[SPEAKER_04]: Thanks Jose Mesa.
- 1:01:39[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, some are like Bartolok alone, and yeah, uh, Bob Wickman, like, that we just, those 90s teams are, what was the submarine to pull off some marker?
- 1:01:51[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, so if Carlos Bayer got, I mean, that's a, that's a huge gift for the Tessahar's Browns markers.
- 1:01:58[SPEAKER_04]: Um, I mean, he's, he's, he's one of the greatest Indians players of all time in the end of Cleveland Indians Hall of Fame, ring honor, all that kind of stuff.
- 1:02:04[SPEAKER_04]: So that's a big get, what day was that August 1st?
- 1:02:08[SPEAKER_05]: I'm pretty sure now now you got me wondering what's up for what I'm double check, but you don't want to miss that Can you you had a couple of events you wanted to talk yeah about obviously we got a bunch of stuff going on with a Cleveland Browns Backers this event was fantastic by the Tesco RS Browns backers biggest thing that I want to get across you guys is this the South Shore Browns Backers for the Tampa Bay game.
