- Mark Hayes (00:05.244) Alright, ladies and gentlemen, welcome back. World Cup fever at an enormous pitch. I mean, the excitement has never been higher as legends are eliminated. Another legend hangs on. And Team USA, well, what can we say? we just wish that Cheeto Mussolini wouldn't have fucked with it. Just leave it alone. Mind your fucking business. You got no business being a part of it, but then again, it's always about me. Then we got the follow up to Xavier Wells, the latest on his body being found. And we've got the chump over in Europe fucking up NATO some kind of way. If he hasn't done it yet, he will at some point. Brock Ganellus joins me now. Brock I got soccer questions for ya. what's going on when you can't get the soccer ball on your half of the field? How do you propose to win? Brock Ganeles (01:02.262) Okay. The US team got absolutely destroyed yesterday. And not only did it get destroyed, they came out and played a team that's better than them with terrible energy. And the last time I've seen an arena and a building with terrible energy, despite it being in a home crowd, is when Trump was in Madison Square Garden for game three of the Knicks, and he changed the entire vibe of the setting. And basically Mark Hayes (01:07.353) I should Mark Hayes (01:25.786) Right. Brock Ganeles (01:31.414) ruined it and sucked all the energy out of the room. This time Trump wasn't there in person, but his dark cloud hovered over the US team all week. Mark Hayes (01:43.414) Mm. Yes. Yes. Brock Ganeles (01:46.051) The best thing that happened to the World Cup is that it was being played headed up into July 4th, so that Trump had his own birthday and all his MAGA-related speeches and bullshit pomp and circumstance around July 4th and the lack of attendees at his great state fair. So his focus was on that. And he was ignoring the World Cup. Mark Hayes (02:00.176) Ha ha ha ha ha. Mark Hayes (02:10.405) Right. Brock Ganeles (02:14.572) Which was an exuberance fest going on between three countries, fifteen cities, and basically the world. Unfortunately, after July 4th, Trump had nothing else fucking for his attention, so he decided to play bully with FIFA. And in getting Balogone reinstated, I think created just a negative scenario around. Mark Hayes (02:14.769) No doubt. Mark Hayes (02:24.059) Yeah. Yeah. Mark Hayes (02:34.844) Yeah. Brock Ganeles (02:44.29) The American team for which they mentally just could not overcome. That's my that was my read on watching this game. I'm like, Holy shit, Trump sucked the energy out of the team. Mark Hayes (02:56.624) Yeah. Rock, how does a team, you know, that has guys playing in the Premier League over in Europe get dominated like like I don't really understand soccer. I can't tell you what offsides is, even when I see it on the screen. But I could tell you that the Belgian team was in our ass like the bicycle with the seat off. We couldn't get Brock Ganeles (03:15.555) Mm-hmm. Brock Ganeles (03:25.474) No, they they were killing us. They look they were better players who also played better on that day. So it was just a a confluence of factors. Mark Hayes (03:35.588) Right. Right. Brock Ganeles (03:37.535) Maybe the moment was too big for our team because we hadn't really been there before. Certainly not with expectations. You know, the team had played so well early on that they actually created expectations. So I played soccer in high school and growing up, and I've been on teams where the other team was just more skilled than you, and you just can't you just don't touch the ball. Mark Hayes (03:51.856) Right. Right. Right. Right. Right. Brock Ganeles (04:04.206) 'Cause they're just passing it around and you're running around chasing them down. And by the the few times you do get it, you try to do too much with it and you end up just, you know, kicking it away and they get it again and you'll end up playing like eighty percent of the game on defense, like the US team did. And it's frustrating and tiring and demoralizing. So if you already don't come into the game with a great mindset and all you're doing is like you're a dog chasing around a fucking tennis ball in the backyard, like it sucks and it and it does Mark Hayes (04:05.188) Yeah. Mark Hayes (04:28.825) Anyway. Brock Ganeles (04:32.034) beat you down and especially when they start scoring and then you're like, how are we gonna ske how are we gonna score? We can't even get the ball. So I've been there, I know how it feels, but it was hugely disappointing because this US team had generated some hope in all of us and brought us a lot of joy because they played well to that point. Mark Hayes (04:48.86) Yeah. Mark Hayes (04:52.57) Right. Right. but Brock, tell me something. Like, you know, I I just wonder how a s a quar is it a quarter final was it a quarter final six tweet sixteen, right? Trying to get Yeah, trying to get to the round of sixteen. How is that game too big for, you know, Premier League guys like, you know, Tyler Adams and Brock Ganeles (05:06.412) Round is sixteen. Brock Ganeles (05:17.12) It shouldn't but nothing's like the World Cup. No no league play game can can you know, you're playing for your country. You only get to do it once every four years. There is no next year. It's very often your only time that you're gonna play 'cause yeah, now you gotta stay on the team for four more years. There's a lot of players coming up that are gonna want your spot. It it was at home, the hype was bigger than ever. the maybe the moment got too big. We didn't have any players who had a history of success. It's not like we have wins in our back pocket that everyone could fall back on. But it wasn't just that. Their team was better. Mark Hayes (05:36.027) Right. Mark Hayes (05:50.137) All right. Yeah. Their team was better and we lost our mojo because, you know, we could have been the little engine that could without our star player, but you know, Cheeto fuck face Mussolini had to fucking weigh in and just fucking you know, sapped our fucking energy, you know, with the constant controversy swirling. So the players, you know, had to go into the game with a huge question mark hovering in and over their heads. Brock Ganeles (06:20.738) Well, instead of preparing for the game they're probably just talking about this scenario, it's all they got asked about, all the social media was talking about. So it clearly impacted the focus. And it kinda it put in a no win situation because if if the US had won, the world was looking at it as look at the US playing bully again and cha tilting the rules in their favor. No other player who gets a red card is getting reinstated. No other you know, presidents are calling FIFA to change decisions that are made on the field. We as a country looked like the assholes that we often are. So for all that effort and what we were changing the sentiment of the world by see being such great World Cup hosts where some people were come some foreign people were coming around to root for America again, Trump reinserted himself in where he didn't belong. Mark Hayes (06:59.344) Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Brock Ganeles (07:18.962) and reminded everyone why they hate America or why they will hate America until we get rid of Trump and then maybe they'll love us again. Mark Hayes (07:29.336) And Brock, again, I say it to you constantly in ad nauseum. you know, it's like he's got a fucking to-do list. It's like he's being told when to fuck shit up. It's almost like Vladimir Putin says, Hey, you should fuck this up. here's my email to you. Fuck this thing up and fuck that thing up. I mean Brock Ganeles (07:52.547) Well, whenever something gets popular and takes attention away from him, he needs to insert him into it. Mark Hayes (07:58.427) Right. He weighs him. Right. Yeah, and I don't know if that's the puppet strings or his narcissism. Could be a combination of both. All right, let's move on. he's at NATO, hasn't fucked things up yet, but I'm sure that he will. What say you? Brock Ganeles (08:15.326) he's going over there to cause problems, is my read headed into it. I worry I worry that NATO doesn't come apart while he's over there. So I'm I'm prepared for the worst. I think all the European leaders are gonna just try to dance around Trump, placate him, play to his ego. Mark Hayes (08:20.922) Right. Brock Ganeles (08:43.818) And try to get him out of Europe and out of these meetings without NATO coming apart. I think a best case scenario is Trump leaves Europe with NATO still intact. Like that's the best we can hope for. And I don't know, he's becoming more and more mentally unstable and more belligerent as particularly as events around him are going against him. Mark Hayes (08:51.632) Right. Mark Hayes (08:56.976) Right. Brock Ganeles (09:11.618) You know, whether it be court rulings, d whole July the f fourth debacle of no one showing up to his events. I mean he's had a lot of losses and and and setbacks and I feel like he's just he's at an even heightened state of anger. I mean he starts the morning enraged because he's a fucking psychopath. Mark Hayes (09:12.134) Fuck it. Mark Hayes (09:24.772) A lot of L. Brock Ganeles (09:34.816) And then he's had, you know, assault in his wounds recently. I think he's over at NATO looking to make himself trying to make himself feel good. So I think he's gonna be very much in bully mode. I'm very worried about this NATO meeting. Mark Hayes (09:47.995) Yeah. Yeah, this is this is going to be a real issue. it it is very concerning. All right, we'll keep a close eye on it. also popping off today, the body of Xavier Wells has been found. Mississippi kid hanging out with his white brethren, who apparently turned out to be not so much brethren. are we on the verge of one of the biggest cover ups since the missing workers during the the missing jewish workers during the civil rights struggle in Mississippi. Brock Ganeles (10:26.124) Wow, this one is lined up to be an absolute racist shit show. I mean, we're starting with Mississippi, so already we're in a problem area. But I don't I mean I'm just I the story doesn't add up, Mark. Okay, three white friends, one black friend get on a boat and go out to an island. Looks like it was one of those islands a lot of people go out and whatever, fuck around, right? Drink some beers. Mark Hayes (10:45.542) Yeah. Brock Ganeles (10:55.426) Goof goof around, have fun, young young kids hot spot type of thing. Mark Hayes (11:01.339) Right. Brock Ganeles (11:02.36) But I've never gone with three other white friends anywhere you know, meaning four of us in total, where three of us just went home having no fucking idea where the fourth person was. Like you didn't leave anyone behind. You didn't like there was communication. You didn't you weren't like you if you didn't find your friend, like you were in a frenzy and you weren't just going home and going to sleep. Mark Hayes (11:15.258) Way to work it. Right. Mark Hayes (11:27.77) Right. Brock Ganeles (11:30.081) So it just doesn't add up the behavior of the white friends doesn't add up, so it looks really nefarious on the surface. But Mark, you we grew up together. Ninety percent black community. You have very often been out and about in groups of friends where you were the only black guy in the group. Did you ever feel unsafe? Did you feel if shit went down with you that they were gonna have your back? Mark Hayes (11:40.432) Yeah. Mark Hayes (11:51.93) No doubt. Mark Hayes (11:59.665) I you know I did. I I don't think I ever felt unsafe in our town. Right? Like where we grew up in Westchester County, right? And Putnam County, we Connecticut, you know, wherever we went. you know, with us guys with the basketball team hung out, or with us guys on the football team hung out, I never felt unsafe. The only time I did feel unsafe. Brock Ganeles (12:11.352) Mm-hmm. Brock Ganeles (12:23.81) What what about you in Te what about you sorry. I was gonna ask when you're in Texas, but go ahead. Mark Hayes (12:29.02) The only time I did feel unsafe was when I was in Texas. And we unfortunately were detained by police officers. They took they detained four of us. me and my roommate who happened to be from New Rochelle. We were all New Yorkers, as a matter of fact. We had me and my roommate who were from New Rochelle and Peakskill, respectively. Brock Ganeles (12:51.936) All black or all white? What was the mix of the group? Mark Hayes (12:55.12) Two black, two white. They put the two white players in the car together. Dave Tobe and Vic Stagliano from Westlake and Mayapack. Dave Tobe, you might recognize that name, the associate head coach of the Kansas City Chiefs. So those two were put in one car, and me and my black African-American roommate from Neurochell were put in a separate car. And all we could say to ourselves afterwards. Brock Ganeles (13:11.104) okay. Mark Hayes (13:24.216) And on the ride to the county jail in El Paso, was what the hell are they gonna do to us? And why are we in separate cars? Not that the four of us could have fit in one car, but we were concerned that they put the black guys in one car and the white guys in another. You know, obviously nothing happened, you know, and and we were able to write it off as a stupid fucking mistake. But you know, that's the only time I've ever been concerned, you know, about some sort of you know, racial, you know, violence, you know, perpetuated against me. and it was it w I'm gonna I'm not gonna lie, that was the longest 30 minutes of my life. you know, that ride from the the fraternity party where we got in trouble to the to the El Paso County jail. Brock Ganeles (14:22.936) Were the all the policemen white? Police all white? Mark Hayes (14:23.124) And yeah, yeah. And it was it was pretty scary. you know, just not knowing what's going to happen. And you know, you into that garage where it's just you and them and you're cuffed. So, you know, at that point Brock Ganeles (14:34.914) So a lot. Brock Ganeles (14:43.404) Yeah, and that's that's officers of the law where they're you know, back then they didn't have the body cams, like you didn't have any you had less protection, especially in the south. But in this case, this is a kid out with friends. There's apparently a lot of other people around. There's some stories that there were there were sounds of a fight. Mark Hayes (14:49.207) Exactly. Mark Hayes (14:57.934) Right. Brock Ganeles (15:03.106) But I just find it it just the the timeline is really you know, it's just the timeline doesn't add up. That you go out with friends, search party doesn't start till like the next day, the parents are calling around that night because the kid doesn't come home. Like, what kind of friends are these that they're not you know, what there's no communication with the parents of where their son might be? There's no it's Mark Hayes (15:28.016) Well, that's the that's the question. Brock Ganeles (15:28.362) I just I just think that there's gonna be something of a cover up because it's just gonna easily be, you know, it's on water, so you can always go with the accidental drowning theory, right? And everyone walks away scot free and it's chalked up as an accident. It's like that kid who fell in the wrestling mat, right? It's like and died and you know, there's no real investigation and it just fades away. Mark Hayes (15:37.979) Mm. Mark Hayes (15:45.785) Right. Brock Ganeles (15:55.831) And I mean I guess that is a possible scen a it's a possible scenario. It it just it just doesn't seem just the behavior of the people involved doesn't make sense and it doesn't certainly appear on the surface today on July seventh at five thirty or so Eastern. It doesn't appear as though the white quote friends really in any way were looking out. Mark Hayes (15:56.08) Who wrote it so? Right. Mark Hayes (16:20.208) We're actually from Brock Ganeles (16:23.106) for their black friend at the least. And with the likelihood that there's more to the story that's probably violent and negative. Likely, but let's Mark Hayes (16:26.233) Right. Mark Hayes (16:34.756) Well Brah. Y you know, and then and see, and this is why Black America gets pissed off, right? Because it seems to indicate that there is a lack of value when it comes to the African American life. Mississippi is the home of more racial violence than any other state in the Union, I would argue. Right? It's damn sure close to Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Louisiana and the rest of But they're right up there, you know, the Southern strategy with the lynchings. I mean we've got we've got muse how fucked up is it that we've got a museum dedicated to the number of African American lynchings that have occurred in the history of the United States. Not white lynchings, not Hispanic Latino lynchings, black American, African American lynchings. And then there is never any calls for justice. But when you see Carmelo Anthony over here in Frisco, Texas. I mean, are we calling that justice where we've got six guys approaching one smaller individual? No, I'm not advocating for people to be murdered or for people to be killed. But one is entitled to defend themselves. Okay, and I don't think we've heard the full story as I just read today that there is an appeal in the Anthony in the Carmelo Anthony case, his new legal team. I understand Cardi B put up five million for the new legal teams. So let's see what happens there. Brock Ganeles (18:05.106) well. Brock Ganeles (18:09.462) Okay, we're gonna have to stay tuned on this one because we don't have this this Xavier Wells scenario, because we don't have enough information yet. The question is, are we gonna get information? Is there gonna be a true investigation that can be trusted? Or is this as a northeaster would look down and go, southern justice, which means nothing's gonna be done. And e and I I look at the scenario, what would be different already in the first 48 hours if it was three black friends and a white friend, and it was the white friend who didn't? Mark Hayes (18:16.475) Right. Mark Hayes (18:22.128) Right. Mark Hayes (18:29.402) Right. Mark Hayes (18:38.476) Right. Right. Brock Ganeles (18:39.192) home. You know, would would this story be the same? Or would this be like headlines like you know, Gabby Petito or Natalie Holloway, right? Like where this would be the biggest story in the country. Mark Hayes (18:48.964) Let's say. We we would see it on the news like the missing white woman syndrome. And it's just what it it Brock Ganeles (18:57.154) Yeah. So I'm already I'm already worried and skeptical about how this is gonna play out. So we're we're just gonna have to stay tuned. It's already tragic. The question is, you know, was it was there was there murder? Yeah. And will it will it get the true will justice be served is the big question. Will justice be served? And sad to say, I don't you know, going into it. Mark Hayes (19:05.393) Right. Mark Hayes (19:12.186) How much worse can they get? Right. Mark Hayes (19:19.536) Right. Brock Ganeles (19:27.264) In Mississippi. I don't you know, I don't think so. From what I've just read already in the dynamic of the case, very worried justice will not be served. But I'll jury's out. What's that? Mark Hayes (19:36.026) You know, this you know, he's not a little kid. You know? He's not a little kid. This kid was six one, one eighty, football player, you know, athletic kid. Brock Ganeles (19:43.615) Yeah. Football player. Yeah. Athletic kid. Yeah. Something happened. And I get it. Like there could be drinking, drugs, like shit happens, you know, young people make bad decisions too. I don't w I'm not rushing to judgment. I just want there to be justice served and I want there to be a real criminal investigation. Because Mark Hayes (19:48.592) You know, something happened to him. Mark Hayes (20:06.833) Right. Brock Ganeles (20:09.044) It doesn't appear already that that that it started on the right foot. It feels cover-up-ish already in the fact that there isn't more aggressive activity going on already. Mark Hayes (20:14.308) Right, right, right. Mark Hayes (20:22.798) No doubt. All right, we got a couple of political stories we gotta get to. the first one, we can't win for losing in Maine, right? Grant Plattner calls for him to drop out of the race. What the fuck? Over? Like, what's going on here? Brock Ganeles (20:38.974) Christian, how the fuck is he not out of the race already? And you know my take y on Grant Platiner from the beginning, right? I want Susan Collins out of the Senate as bad as anyone else. There's no one longer over to do to get her ass kicked out of the Senate come November. Mark Hayes (20:42.285) Exactly. Mark Hayes (20:56.016) Well. No doubt. Brock Ganeles (20:58.688) So I'm pretty much on board with any candidate Democrats can come up with. But as I said from the beginning, when Platner was winning the race and becoming the darling of Bernie Sanders and others, you can't like character matters, and you can't find a fucking candidate who doesn't have a Nazi tattoo? Like you're gonna you're you're asking me to look past the Nazi tattoo. Mark Hayes (21:03.236) Right. Mark Hayes (21:25.882) Right. On the blue side. Brock Ganeles (21:26.568) And and just chalk that up chalk that up to just misguided youth, yet somehow he still has the tattoo as an adult. Or he didn't really know what he was putting on his body. So I'm supposed to buy that shit. Well but he's also a guy who worked like for a mercenary army. So I'm supposed to look past the fact that he's also like a Mark Hayes (21:33.051) Okay. Right. Mark Hayes (21:46.768) Right. Brock Ganeles (21:49.503) soldier for hire fucking guy running around in the middle of like you were asking me to look past so much shit with Graham Platiner and then the sexual assaults come up and y you're gonna ask me to look past sexual assault also? I mean how many things have to get stacked up? So I was pissed that he was the candidate from the beginning. Now I'm pissed that he's A hasn't fucking dropped out of the race already. Like get the fuck out of the race. You got like four days for us to replace you. Mark Hayes (21:51.718) Yeah. Yeah. Mark Hayes (22:12.802) Right. Right. Brock Ganeles (22:17.966) And now, you know, I'm worried that it gives Susan Collins a better chance of winning. What's your take on it? Mark Hayes (22:25.072) It's the same thing. I I I mean, any time you're giving Susan Collins, you know, an advantage, fucking scares the shit out of me. She's a waste of bones and she does not give a shit about the American people. No matter what, she's going to do the absolute worst every chance she gets and go along to get along. Right? It's just her, you know, padding her pockets and Not giving a shit about the people of Maine and not giving a shit about the American citizen. And it's it's sad, it's frustrating, and I want her out of there. And let me tell you something. You know, fuck you to the Democratic Party and Ken Martin and you bozos out there who blew Jasmine Crockett up so you could get James Tallerico, but this was the guy you came up with in Maine? This was the guy you decided could run in Maine and win? Brock Ganeles (23:25.462) Yeah, 'cause it rugged, rugged, you know, white guy who like wor lobster guy, blue collary guy, military background, all the things that they thought would appeal once again to the four fucking white voters in a Bangor Ming you know, diner, right? Yeah, that the white voters would go for this white guy and they'll look the other way 'cause it's a white guy. So they'll look overlooked the fact that he's got like fucking Nazi tattoos. Mark Hayes (23:30.596) É o Kai. Mark Hayes (23:40.878) In Iowa. Brock Ganeles (23:54.351) And brags about killing people, you know, brown people in the Middle East and just just because hey look, I liked his policies. If you just look at his policy position, I'll take John Doe with that pol with those policies. But the people matter, the people we put in positions of power matter, and their character matters. So Mark Hayes (24:06.298) That's what it. Mark Hayes (24:10.044) Right. Mark Hayes (24:15.332) Definitely. Yep. Brock Ganeles (24:18.774) Let's assess the character. And and as a last point I have, I'm tired of this outsider bullshit that we need like non-political people, whether they be business people or whatever. So this guy's first political job was gonna be senator. Not working in the state house, not working locally, not learning the job, not even being a congressman, of which there's like three in Maine. No, he wanted one of the two one of a hundred Senate seats in the c in the whole fucking country. He wanted to be in that club with absolutely no Mark Hayes (24:25.947) Right. Mark Hayes (24:45.274) Right. Brock Ganeles (24:48.184) political experience. Why was that the guy? Like, no track record. He never voted on anything in his life. So w you know but Mark Hayes (24:57.144) It's just like Donald Trump, bro. Brock Ganeles (24:59.778) Those are just the background things. You know my thing on Platiner was. Don't fucking tell me I need to fucking support a Nazi in my party. That's what the that's what the MAGA party is for. Don't be welcoming don't be welcoming the Nazis. I'm just not I'm just not on board for it. That to me like in a world of anti too much anti-Semitism and enough problems between Palestine and Israel, we're gonna bring in the guy with the Nazi tattoos. Okay. That's the guy. That's the guy with good judgment. Yeah, we can trust that guy. He's not smart. Mark Hayes (25:11.717) Right. Exactly. Mark Hayes (25:24.525) Right. Fuck off. Mark Hayes (25:29.177) Yeah. Brock Ganeles (25:29.552) smart enough to know what's on his fucking body. But he should be one of only a hundred people voting in the Senate for the policies that shape all of our lives. But the guy doesn't even fucking know what's on his own body. Come on. That could that was a fraud from the start. Mark Hayes (25:42.658) Unbelievable. Idiocy. All right. speaking of frauds, we're being told that Mitch McConnell has been hospitalized for three weeks. Nobody will say why. is Mitch gone? Have we have we seen the last of Mitch? Brock Ganeles (26:00.149) Well, I don't know if it's sad or comical that MAGA folks are lining up to tell us firsthand that they quote spoke to Mitch McConnell at length. Twenty minutes. Twenty minutes seems to be the buzz the the the time that everyone's going with. Twenty minutes on on really serious topics, you know, like Gaza and healthcare and what's going on in in Iran. Mark Hayes (26:13.328) Who's got who's got Mark Hayes (26:19.012) I was in the email. Brock Ganeles (26:30.05) The funny part about all these first hand accounts of people talking to Mitch is that no one has said that Mitch has talked to them. So I feel like Mitch is in a veget most likely scenario is that Mitch is in a vegetative state in some ICU and they're keeping alive. They are keeping Mitch alive just to avoid a special election in Kentucky ahead of Mark Hayes (26:39.397) Hmm. Mark Hayes (26:50.274) Brock Ganeles (26:59.788) the general election. So in the end, Mitch McConnell's death is gonna be as political and shady as his life. Mark Hayes (27:10.49) Yeah. Yeah. I I I think that's where we are, bro. Yeah. I I think he's almost gone if he's not gone already. because they would come up and put him somewhere else. Brock Ganeles (27:15.276) You think he's dead? You think he's dead or alive? Brock Ganeles (27:23.362) You think there's lot of machines? They don't wanna say he's dead, so they just have machines keeping his heart pumping. You think he's brain dead? Mark Hayes (27:29.22) Yeah. Yeah, because y you know, the the the political stakes are too high, you know, with losing that seat. You know? And yeah, I just feel like the politics of it are going to allow them to perpetrate the fraud for as long as possible. Brock Ganeles (27:51.565) But who like what percentage of the country is believing them? Like what percentage of the country believes that Scott Jennings had a a good talk with Mitch McConnell this morning? I mean, who's buying that shit? Mark Hayes (28:01.981) Yeah. Yeah. I all the MAGA people. Thirty percent of them are Yeah. Brock Ganeles (28:06.838) MAGA, they're all buying it. They're all buying it. So so they're playing they're playing the end of Mitch McConnell's life as a Merrick Garland scenario where they're just delaying, delaying, delaying the announcement of his death to avoid a political scenario that is unpalatable for MAGA. So I think it is the actual perfect end to the despicable life. Mark Hayes (28:18.458) Yeah. Like a light alive. Yeah. Mark Hayes (28:28.762) No doubt. Brock Ganeles (28:35.668) Of Mitch McConnell. May he rest. May he rest. Mark Hayes (28:37.193) McConnell. Yeah. Adios. Yeah. May you not rest in peace. all right, quick hit for me. What do you got? Brock Ganeles (28:47.392) So do you think the United Kingdom, they of Brexit and the original racist are going to be able to embrace the fact that their star player, one of their two star players, is black and outspoken and like let's just say dynamically black, not get along, keep your head down, black guy, and Jude Bellingham? Mark Hayes (29:12.12) Yeah. They're gonna struggle with Bellingham. I mean, he's he's got some opinions. We we we talked about Kareem and Muhammad Ali and some of those folks with with those outspoken athletes with opinions. You know, the the original racist don't like your opinions. They don't wanna hear it. you know, they've done very well to to whitewash their community and their history. and everything they've stolen throughout history and the people that they've stolen and robbed and and and you know perpetrated violence against. and they want to continue to maintain the narrative and the fact that, you know, the best soccer player in the nation is out here promoting the fact, you know, that he is not actually welcome outside of soccer stadiums is a problem. It's a problem for them. It's a problem for the monarchy. It's a problem for Parliament. it's a problem for the UK. But, you know, oftentim you know, because they don't have the same kind of violence that we have here, and their media has a focus on the salacious tabloid type stuff, you know, they're not painted as the kind of racists that we are here in the US. They they, you know, you really have to understand history to understand the kind of racism that you know, they continue to perpetuate. It's different from ours. you know, they don't have a lot of police involved killings and shootings of brown people. you know, when they have, you know, racial violence, we don't often hear about it like we do, you know, they haven't had a George Floyd, a Rodney King, a Latasha Harlins. They haven't had those kinds of Laquan McDonald. Mark Hayes (31:13.808) you know, where Temir Rice, you know, they haven't had those kinds of cases, you know, that polarize a nation against itself. Brock Ganeles (31:24.354) But just as we had the Obamas, they did for a hot minute have Meghan Markle introduced into the monarchy. And that certainly, certainly brought a lot of attention to the racist undertones that believe their society. Mark Hayes (31:31.525) Right. Mark Hayes (31:35.183) And what is Mark Hayes (31:43.961) Yeah. Brock Ganeles (31:46.411) I guess as long when Bellingham scores two goals, when Harry Kane scores all the goals, I think they're really, really happy. When Jude Bellingham scores a couple of goals and carries them to the next round, they do sing the Beatles Hey Jude to him. But I feel like that love for Jude Bellingham is very conditional on him play on him playing absolutely fantastic at all times. Mark Hayes (31:58.438) Right. Mark Hayes (32:03.781) Mm-hmm. Mark Hayes (32:08.41) Lights out. Lights out. There's gotta be lights out all the time. Or else, you know, we'll be throwing bananas out. Yeah. Brock Ganeles (32:10.734) He better be great. Okay, wh what do you got for me? Mark Hayes (32:18.556) we got a man fatally shot by an o ICE officer down in Houston. let me get his name for you here. he's apparently a Mexican national. Lorenzo Salgado Arrojo was gunned down about six fifty in the morning. And you know, it's it's here we go again, you know. And they think it's justified because they said he's in the country illegally. That's that's not a an infraction that's punishable by death. And I'm tired of and I'm tired of news media, you know, reporting it that way. Instead of saying an unarmed human being was mowed down by massed militia sanctioned by the government, right? We we we want to instantly victim shame and blame. Brock Ganeles (32:54.646) Yeah, that's a justification. Mark Hayes (33:18.34) And I'm so fucking sick of ICE. I'm so fucking sick of our tax dollars going to them. Brock make it fucking stop. Brock Ganeles (33:26.784) You know, as you're saying it, I'm like I'm thinking back to like the Mexico, you know, co-hosting the World Cup with us, all these other countries and citizens here, and all the good feelings that have come with it. And that's just a stark reminder that the World Cup's gonna end in a couple of weeks, and we're still who we were as a government. The people Mark Hayes (33:39.887) What? Mark Hayes (33:54.448) Hello. Brock Ganeles (33:55.564) The people and the vibe I think has changed. Mark Hayes (33:59.439) Right. Brock Ganeles (34:00.93) But the power has not changed. The power structure hasn't changed at all. Mark Hayes (34:06.894) No, we're still a bunch of shitbirds in a clown car, you know, fucking up the the not not just the country, Brock. We're fucking up the entire world. The global economy is suffering because of Cheeto Mussolini and his ridiculous fucking policies and the shit that he doesn't understand. Cause he has no idea how how the US government works. If you gave him a civics test, he'd probably flunk the fucking thing. Brock Ganeles (34:34.036) No, but he's racist as hell and he's got this militia you know, this masked militia running around, over armed, overzealous, and with overfunded with no recourse for their actions. You think there do you think there's gonna be any recourse for those agents? No, it's not gonna be an investigation. I mean even the the the the shooters up in Minneapolis haven't even been faced justice yet. Mark Hayes (34:38.906) Right. Mark Hayes (34:44.835) Overfunded. Mark Hayes (35:00.696) Right. Right. Brock Ganeles (35:01.602) So getting back to, you know, will anyone face justice? Will we see justice? You know? We won't see ju you know. Mark Hayes (35:05.242) Project twenty twenty nine. Yep. Project twenty twenty nine is when we'll see justice for Alex Pretti and Renee Good. All right, buddy. Good place to wrap it up. Let's wrap it up with you again tomorrow. Brock Ganeles (35:16.088) All right, Mark. All right, Mark. Always a pleasure. Good to speak to ya. Okay. Talk to you tomorrow. Mark Hayes (35:20.164) Revolution. Yes, sir. Peace.
