  brought forth bread and wine. The king of Sodom said unto

  Abraham, take the goods to thyself.

  David Crudus writes. Abraham had two offers made to

  him. The king of Sodom offered him
• 0:27
  the riches and praise of this world.

  The king of Salem, however, offered him bread and wine.

  That is communion with and the blessing of God.

  Abraham had to make a choice. We too must make a similar

  choice. We cannot have both.

  We cannot enjoy the world and communion or fellowship with

  God. It's interesting to note that

  Abraham found it easy to turn down the offer of the world

  because he was already enjoying God.
