- 1:12Speaker 2: I'm putting faces with names again. Because you get to
- 1:16Speaker 2: like a certain point of the week where it's like,
- 1:18Speaker 2: oh cool, and then you kind of mentally switch out.
- 1:21Speaker 2: They just turn that switch off and you feel so good.
- 1:24Speaker 2: You're leaving the job on Friday. You're like, man, I
- 1:27Speaker 2: got the whole weekend, and then it's like a blink
- 1:29Speaker 2: of an eye in and we're back here. Not that
- 1:33Speaker 2: it's a bad job. It's a great job. We get

- 1:50Speaker 2: seven seven forty four sent us a text over to
- 1:53Speaker 2: two two nine eight seven. Got the trending news headlines.
- 1:57Speaker 2: We get to the birthdays and the porno birthday here
- 2:00Speaker 2: and just a bit. I did want to follow up
- 2:03Speaker 2: on something because I think it was Friday, Gina, you
- 2:07Speaker 2: made mentioned to Greg and I wasn't part of the conversation.
- 2:09Speaker 2: I just overheard. Is it true that until you went
- 2:14Speaker 2: to college you never had butter, coca cola, mayonnaise, or
- 2:20Speaker 2: white bread. That is true, not once, not until college.
- 2:24Speaker 6: I never tried it or or like anything more than
- 2:27Speaker 6: skim milk, Like I never even had two percent milk ever.
- 2:30Speaker 2: No, like you never went to a restaurant.
- 2:33Speaker 6: I mean I wouldn't have had it. I wouldn't have
- 2:34Speaker 6: eaten it.
- 2:35Speaker 7: Were you not you were It's because she wasn't allowed
- 2:37Speaker 7: to say yeah O.
- 2:38Speaker 6: My mom was like super hardcore, like Olestra, chips, spray, butter,
- 2:44Speaker 6: diet right, miracle whip wheat bread that like it just
- 2:48Speaker 6: wasn't in the house. And so I thought it was gross,
- 2:50Speaker 6: Like I thought we didn't need it because it was bad.
- 2:53Speaker 6: And then I tried it. I was like, oh my god,
- 2:56Speaker 6: missing oh the Freshman eighty five.
- 2:58Speaker 2: I was loving it. Now you're addicted to.
- 3:03Speaker 6: Yes, And this was we were like straight up diet right.
- 3:07Speaker 6: I never had anything but diet right.
- 3:09Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 3:09Speaker 2: Well, so I thought this, this could be this could
- 3:12Speaker 2: be fun. I asked Greg and I asked Sammy to
- 3:15Speaker 2: each come up with a list of regular, you know,
- 3:18Speaker 2: places that most of us have been at least a
- 3:21Speaker 2: handful of times. And you talk about a lot and
- 3:23Speaker 2: then yeah, you hear people talk about you see commercials
- 3:25Speaker 2: for it, like normal people go to yeah chains, whether
- 3:28Speaker 2: it's like a fast food place or like a you know,
- 3:31Speaker 2: like a casual restaurant, Yeah, fast food whatever.
- 3:34Speaker 7: And you know how when people say, when you're talking
- 3:36Speaker 7: about a TV show and they say, I don't watch TV, we.
- 3:39Speaker 2: Don't believe it. Yeah. Yeah.
- 3:41Speaker 7: When I say that I don't eat fast food, and
- 3:43Speaker 7: I know Sammy's in the exact same boat, people say like, oh,
- 3:45Speaker 7: look at you. I don't do they don't believe you.
- 3:49Speaker 7: I don't care if you don't believe me. But I
- 3:51Speaker 7: have a list of places that I've never even walked into, okay,
- 3:55Speaker 7: so ever even tried, never had a bite of.
- 3:58Speaker 2: It's kind of it's gonna be like you guys talk
- 4:00Speaker 2: about fast food. I feel so alone. It's gonna be
- 4:02Speaker 2: like you see me all the time, goes like I
- 4:04Speaker 2: don't get there. I never Yeah, I've never eaten that. Like,
- 4:07Speaker 2: oh god, I've heard of these places, I've never been
- 4:10Speaker 2: to them. So think about like Uno, or someone throws
- 4:12Speaker 2: a card, the other person throws a card, so like
- 4:14Speaker 2: Greg will throw something out there asking Sammy if she's
- 4:16Speaker 2: ever been, okay, and then Sammy, you throw one out
- 4:18Speaker 2: there asking Greg if he's ever been, and we all
- 4:20Speaker 2: get to sit and judge, right, Like, Okay, give us
- 4:22Speaker 2: an example.
- 4:23Speaker 7: I've ever stepped foot in five guys, Okay, don't know it.
- 4:27Speaker 5: I could see that, why because I'm like, I don't
- 4:31Speaker 5: it's good fast food one time it's like.
- 4:36Speaker 8: Yeah, but it's there's no drive through. So it has
- 4:38Speaker 8: to be a specific and purposeful destination.
- 4:41Speaker 2: You can't just be but you like burgers, right, sure, yeah,
- 4:45Speaker 2: and you've you've had fifty dollars at one point in
- 4:48Speaker 2: your life, right. A lot of those a lot of
- 4:51Speaker 2: them have closed. Yeah, like the ones were like the
- 4:54Speaker 2: ones that were even close to my.
- 4:56Speaker 6: Hair, like gone, it's gone.
- 4:57Speaker 2: Yeah, just in the middle of the night, they up in,
- 5:00Speaker 2: they up and left. So no, you said you've been
- 5:04Speaker 2: there once and the one time, Okay, i'd.
- 5:05Speaker 6: See me throwing out Chipotle.
- 5:07Speaker 7: What I have been to a Chipotle? And I could
- 5:10Speaker 7: probably tell you the last year I went to Chipotle,
- 5:13Speaker 7: because I remember where I was living and we were
- 5:14Speaker 7: about to move to get the show back together.
- 5:16Speaker 2: Twenty fourteen four. It's the last time you've been to Chipotle? Yeah, wow, wow, Yeah,
- 5:21Speaker 2: I could see that. It was like Mennesota. Chipotle was
- 5:23Speaker 2: so hot for a while.
- 5:24Speaker 5: Right, it was popping. But now do you eat it?
- 5:27Speaker 6: No, I've never had chippolet.
- 5:28Speaker 2: You've never That's what I'm saying.
- 5:29Speaker 6: I've never had it.
- 5:30Speaker 8: That's strange because you would think that would have been
- 5:31Speaker 8: something like like your high school friends would have gone
- 5:33Speaker 8: and you were just Also.
- 5:35Speaker 2: There was one until she just recently moved in with
- 5:37Speaker 2: Steamboat Willie. There was one like right within a couple
- 5:40Speaker 2: of blocks or something of her house.
- 5:41Speaker 9: Right, yeah, but I mean it's not even right there.
- 5:44Speaker 9: I don't even acknowledge it.
- 5:45Speaker 2: Not terribly unhealthy. Right, So it's not like it's like
- 5:48Speaker 2: burgersh shrugs and stuff like that.
- 5:50Speaker 7: I did. I was a passenger when Woody got it.
- 5:52Speaker 7: But I've never had it. Oh my god, white Castle
- 5:55Speaker 7: never tried.
- 5:56Speaker 6: I've never had it either.
- 5:57Speaker 2: Well, you just didn't grow up near it.
- 5:58Speaker 6: So yeah, yeah, it's not that great.
- 6:00Speaker 2: And you know, Almond it is great. Yeah, I liked it.
- 6:03Speaker 2: You know what, you got it, You got it. It's
- 6:05Speaker 2: the moment it meets the moment, like there's a moment
- 6:08Speaker 2: that calls for white Castle, is it? It is the
- 6:11Speaker 2: greatest thing you've ever had. No, but for what it
- 6:13Speaker 2: is and what smells you that.
- 6:16Speaker 6: Much, this is something that I, for some reason, think
- 6:18Speaker 6: Greg will be able to relate to. It's possible that
- 6:20Speaker 6: one of the reasons I don't like it because I
- 6:22Speaker 6: always connect the memory with one time we were eating
- 6:24Speaker 6: there and I saw like three silver fish go across.
- 6:26Speaker 5: The Yeah, it doesn't taste it all right, doesn't change
- 6:31Speaker 5: the flavor of chicken rings.
- 6:32Speaker 9: Though I've never seen your turn Yes, I have never
- 6:35Speaker 9: been to Applebee's.
- 6:38Speaker 2: You've never been in the neighborhood.
- 6:40Speaker 5: No, I have not.
- 6:41Speaker 6: He's on a date night.
- 6:42Speaker 5: No, I mean I.
- 6:45Speaker 7: Think I have, but probably in twenty eight.
- 6:49Speaker 6: Where else do you go?
- 6:51Speaker 2: It's a it's been a long time because the one
- 6:53Speaker 2: that was close to my house and turned into something else.
- 6:57Speaker 2: I could see that one.
- 6:58Speaker 8: Because yeah, it's again you have to specifically go unless
- 7:01Speaker 8: you are at a motel near an interstate.
- 7:06Speaker 7: Never stepped foot or tried RBS.
- 7:08Speaker 8: Same, never had not missing any I think, haven't I
- 7:12Speaker 8: brought some in for something?
- 7:13Speaker 5: You might have been in the studio grade.
- 7:16Speaker 7: There's one on my list that I have eaten, but
- 7:18Speaker 7: only at work. I've never been to one. Chick fil A.
- 7:22Speaker 7: Never been.
- 7:22Speaker 2: You've never stepped foot in a Chick fil A?
- 7:25Speaker 7: Know what they look like?
- 7:26Speaker 2: Wow?
- 7:30Speaker 6: Had that?
- 7:30Speaker 7: I've driven by them?
- 7:32Speaker 2: Yeah, I think everybody's driven by one. Yeah, but I alright, Sammy.
- 7:37Speaker 6: Now we all went to one together.
- 7:40Speaker 9: But I have never eaten at.
- 7:41Speaker 5: A red lobster.
- 7:43Speaker 7: Same on my list, I've put I've been inside of one.
- 7:46Speaker 7: We've never eaten.
- 7:47Speaker 2: We did a listener meet up with the what is
- 7:49Speaker 2: it the Endless Shrimp? Yeah, but then Sammy left before
- 7:52Speaker 2: dinner time, so she's never eaten there. She stepped footing one.
- 7:55Speaker 7: Right, I never had a right to eat that night.
- 7:57Speaker 6: Yeah, first time I stepped foot in one?
- 7:59Speaker 5: How did it so? Fat?
- 8:00Speaker 2: Greg? Give us give us one more on your list.
- 8:02Speaker 7: I want to give you ten more. I've never stepped
- 8:05Speaker 7: foot into a Jersey mics.
- 8:10Speaker 8: Never literally see that, because they weren't everywhere until maybe
- 8:15Speaker 8: more recently, more recently as in the last fifteen years.
- 8:19Speaker 8: But if you but if you, if it's a lot
- 8:20Speaker 8: of things. If you didn't get the habits down as
- 8:22Speaker 8: a kid or teenager, you just ignore.
- 8:24Speaker 2: They didn't want to didn't have that as a teenager.
- 8:27Speaker 2: But I since I found out about it, these sandwiches
- 8:32Speaker 2: are good.
- 8:32Speaker 10: Great.
- 8:34Speaker 7: They opened one near my house and I have seen one.
- 8:37Speaker 2: Yeah. It's like, well, you know, Amazon wasn't around for
- 8:39Speaker 2: Greg in his teenage years, but now he's addicted to
- 8:42Speaker 2: he discovered it and now I can't get enough of it.
- 8:44Speaker 5: Where do you guys even go? Yeah?
- 8:47Speaker 2: Yeah, So if you're okay, there's a good that's a
- 8:48Speaker 2: good question. If you want something fast and convenient, what's
- 8:52Speaker 2: your go to?
- 8:53Speaker 7: Honestly, I go to the glan.
- 8:55Speaker 9: No, no, no, my god, I haven't been a chick
- 8:57Speaker 9: fla in years.
- 8:58Speaker 7: Oh, something fast and convenient. I'll go to a grocery
- 9:01Speaker 7: store and get a ready made sandwich sandwich.
- 9:05Speaker 9: I'll go to a Jersey Mikes or like a Firehouse
- 9:07Speaker 9: Subs or something.
- 9:08Speaker 2: Firehouse good. Yeah, grocery stores are yuck. Why yeah, I
- 9:12Speaker 2: mean because like the hot food at the grocery store,
- 9:14Speaker 2: like the hot bar food is not great. It's mid
- 9:17Speaker 2: at best, he said.
- 9:18Speaker 5: Sandwich.
- 9:18Speaker 2: Yeah, and this and the sandwiches. I'd much rather go
- 9:21Speaker 2: to a Jersey Mics or Firehouse Subs and the grocery
- 9:23Speaker 2: store very very lazy, mediocre sandwiches.
- 9:27Speaker 8: Tell you why I prefer the grocery store and menace.
- 9:29Speaker 8: I know you love Jersey Mikes, but they're pre made
- 9:32Speaker 8: and I don't have to wait in line.
- 9:33Speaker 2: Okay, well, there you go. You can also get a
- 9:34Speaker 2: pre made at the gas station, get.
- 9:38Speaker 5: Are made sandwich.
- 9:40Speaker 2: Just rattle off a couple more than Sam's got to throw.
- 9:42Speaker 9: One more out of there, I do, Okay, I can
- 9:43Speaker 9: do one more. This one's going to be a super
- 9:45Speaker 9: old school, but it's just so well known by people.
- 9:48Speaker 6: Sizzler. I've never been to a Sizzler.
- 9:54Speaker 5: You used to throw up in the parking lot. After all,
- 9:56Speaker 5: you can eat.
- 9:57Speaker 7: I don't even want to tell you that the decade.
- 9:59Speaker 7: I was laughed, said Sizzler.
- 10:00Speaker 2: I mean, are there any Sizzler?
- 10:02Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 10:02Speaker 5: There are.
- 10:03Speaker 2: It's funny.
- 10:03Speaker 8: I grew up listening to seven eleven and Sizzler references
- 10:06Speaker 8: and I never saw one until I was in my twenties.
- 10:09Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 10:09Speaker 5: Wow, they just didn't have a national.
- 10:10Speaker 2: This this may be something we have to come revisit
- 10:13Speaker 2: because you know, Greg and Sammy sheltered and or just
- 10:15Speaker 2: avoiding things straight up.
- 10:17Speaker 7: Well, plus I'm obsessed about how fashioning stuff is. All right.
- 10:21Speaker 2: Time for the birthdays were shiver, we won't sit because
- 10:28Speaker 2: she was.
- 10:28Speaker 7: Like, it's say and you know, we don't.

- 14:06Speaker 11: I had over the weekend steak that you like put
- 14:09Speaker 11: in the SUV so it gets some specific temperature and
- 14:13Speaker 11: then cooks it or you know whatever in the pan
- 14:16Speaker 11: or something, and.
- 14:18Speaker 9: I think it's called a pan and potatoes and green beans,
- 14:21Speaker 9: and it was so good and I was just like
- 14:23Speaker 9: sitting there at home eating this delicious meal, and I
- 14:26Speaker 9: was like this rule.
- 14:28Speaker 2: Yeah they got. I got a friend that swears by
- 14:30Speaker 2: the souv thing.
- 14:31Speaker 7: Yeah, I don't know.
- 14:32Speaker 2: I never used you put you put like the steak
- 14:35Speaker 2: in this bag. Oh yeah, drop it into the water
- 14:38Speaker 2: and it's got like the thermometer in the water, and
- 14:40Speaker 2: you got to keep it at the thing and then yeah, same,
- 14:42Speaker 2: and then you take it out and then you put
- 14:43Speaker 2: the seal on it after it's been in the souv
- 14:46Speaker 2: and once.
- 14:46Speaker 6: It reaches the right temperature in the souvie, it will
- 14:49Speaker 6: not go above it. So it's like perfectly tender.
- 14:51Speaker 2: Kind of a seer.
- 14:54Speaker 5: Yeah, Steve, like a whole Thanksgiving dinner that way for us,
- 14:57Speaker 5: remember in a bag.
- 14:58Speaker 2: Yeah, well, no, that was different. That was that was
- 15:01Speaker 2: just Thanksgiving in the bag. You just put the whole
- 15:03Speaker 2: thing in the other No, this is like you get
- 15:05Speaker 2: a big pot of water on the stove.
- 15:06Speaker 6: And like a big tamul.
- 15:07Speaker 2: You would think of like taking a steak and just
- 15:09Speaker 2: boiling it right, the same sort of idea, but it's
- 15:13Speaker 2: in a bag and it's in this water, and the
- 15:14Speaker 2: water's got to be just the right temperature. It's a
- 15:17Speaker 2: very slow, like slow temperature dick.
- 15:21Speaker 6: In called a souv And then just.
- 15:24Speaker 5: Finally something positive out of this move sammy woman there, Yeah,
- 15:31Speaker 5: good lady.
- 15:34Speaker 7: And it keeps such a clean house.
- 15:36Speaker 6: And my gears is to Nordstrum.
- 15:39Speaker 9: Listen, I love nord Strum. And they're doing their sale
- 15:43Speaker 9: right now, as most people know. And and I ordered
- 15:50Speaker 9: a bikini that was on sale. Great, And so bikinis
- 15:53Speaker 9: you have to order the pieces separately. You order the
- 15:56Speaker 9: top and you order the bottom.
- 15:58Speaker 7: You do.
- 15:58Speaker 6: Yeah, ways, I.
- 16:00Speaker 2: Don't know that you just bought a bathing suit and
- 16:03Speaker 2: this one's a bikini.
- 16:04Speaker 6: His girlfriend could be like extra large on the bottom
- 16:06Speaker 6: and small on the top.
- 16:07Speaker 2: No, but I figured, like you just picked you know, proper, Yeah,
- 16:10Speaker 2: like you bought Oh here's a blue bikini. I don't know.
- 16:14Speaker 2: And then yeah, right to say it like that. I
- 16:19Speaker 2: guess it makes more sense to its separate.
- 16:21Speaker 5: Some do come together. Yeah, you're not wrong.
- 16:24Speaker 2: And so I ordered them at Norms. They are separate, Target, Target,
- 16:28Speaker 2: the targets, I'm sure they come together.
- 16:31Speaker 6: They they don't come together. No, they do not, they.
- 16:34Speaker 5: Do, say, because I was just there yesterday looking at.
- 16:38Speaker 2: From Target yesterday getting bikinis. Are the ones that come
- 16:41Speaker 2: of those big box frame hangers top and bottom. Ye, So.
- 16:49Speaker 9: The bikini the top and the bottom, which are separate.
- 16:52Speaker 9: Then later I get an email we're sorry, our system
- 16:57Speaker 9: didn't update and we actually are canceling your bikini top.
- 17:00Speaker 6: But don't worry.
- 17:01Speaker 9: We'll refund you the money and you know, no problems. Yeah,
- 17:05Speaker 9: problem because now I'm just getting bikini bottoms for me
- 17:08Speaker 9: to deal with.
- 17:09Speaker 2: Now I have to go.
- 17:13Speaker 5: You can't just find another bikini top somewhere else, like
- 17:16Speaker 5: they have to bottom.
- 17:17Speaker 6: They have to Yeah, they have to match.
- 17:18Speaker 9: So now I'm just gonna get bikini bottoms that I
- 17:20Speaker 9: now have to go return because they canceled half of
- 17:23Speaker 9: my bikini order.
- 17:24Speaker 5: Oh you got something that was like print, not just
- 17:26Speaker 5: like a solid color.
- 17:28Speaker 9: No, it's a solid color, but it's still together.
- 17:30Speaker 7: Got to match.
- 17:31Speaker 6: Yeah, Now, am I the only one? And I do
- 17:34Speaker 6: not mean this as an insult at all Sammy? But
- 17:36Speaker 6: am I the only one that cannot picture Sammy in
- 17:38Speaker 6: a bikini? Like that's too risk.
- 17:41Speaker 5: I'm sure a lot of people she needs like.
- 17:44Speaker 6: A sailor swimsuit with like a skirt and like a
- 17:47Speaker 6: little like it's chee.
- 17:54Speaker 2: Yeah to prude to wear like a bikini.
- 17:57Speaker 6: Yeah, you know it's not a kind of Yeah.
- 18:00Speaker 9: I mean I am a gina, to be honest, I
- 18:03Speaker 9: am a little bit like that now where before I
- 18:05Speaker 9: never was. And that's the reason I have to buy
- 18:07Speaker 9: a bikini right now is I have not bought a
- 18:10Speaker 9: new one in probably five years, and I just avoid wearing.
- 18:14Speaker 6: Them because you know, fat Sammy, But right size.
- 18:18Speaker 2: I know, that's right.
- 18:19Speaker 6: I do need one from an extra extra small to
- 18:21Speaker 6: an extra small.
- 18:22Speaker 2: Yeah, she used to be like a double zero. Now
- 18:25Speaker 2: she's just a zero, true, true, which is the.
- 18:31Speaker 5: Problem.
- 18:32Speaker 2: That's the other thing I do understand about women's clothing.
- 18:34Speaker 2: I would never even attempt to buy something for my
- 18:37Speaker 2: wife or like my wife sent me out to go
- 18:39Speaker 2: buy something for my daughter. I don't understand. The SiZ
- 18:42Speaker 2: sizing is.
- 18:42Speaker 7: Weird, even the food size, right, Like women's sizing for
- 18:46Speaker 7: shoes is different, right.
- 18:47Speaker 6: Well, it's yeah.
- 18:49Speaker 2: Long sleeve shirts always look wrong because like they have
- 18:51Speaker 2: like these monkey arms on them three times the length
- 18:55Speaker 2: of the torso. Yes, if you look at I go,
- 18:59Speaker 2: is this wrong? And my wife's like, no, it's supposed
- 19:01Speaker 2: to be like that. I guess it is. Or like
- 19:03Speaker 2: the neck is like super stretched out, doesn't look like
- 19:06Speaker 2: it's supposed to be right.
- 19:07Speaker 7: I am glad you brought that up, because just in general,
- 19:10Speaker 7: it seems like women are obsessed and Sam's kind of
- 19:13Speaker 7: doing it right, now obsessed with pulling their sleeves over
- 19:16Speaker 7: their hands.
- 19:17Speaker 9: I don't get Yes, I have always done that, and
- 19:19Speaker 9: since I was a kid, my parents have yelled at me,
- 19:22Speaker 9: get your hands out of your sleeves. They hated it
- 19:24Speaker 9: because it looks I don't know, I guess just dumpy
- 19:27Speaker 9: versus having it like exactly at your wrist.
- 19:29Speaker 2: But I hated that.
- 19:31Speaker 6: I love pulling it over to make.
- 19:33Speaker 2: Some like long sleeve like hooded T shirts that have
- 19:35Speaker 2: the little thumbhole by the wrist so you can pull
- 19:38Speaker 2: those down. And yeah, I don't get it. Yeah, cheers
- 19:42Speaker 2: and jeers.
- 19:43Speaker 12: Jeff g cheers for having a great time at Fluffy's
- 19:47Speaker 12: birthday party on Saturday.
- 19:49Speaker 2: Suff's fiftieth birthday party. That guy knows how to throw
- 19:51Speaker 2: a party.
- 19:51Speaker 5: Yeah, man, I big backed at like a mother.
- 19:57Speaker 7: So good.
- 19:57Speaker 12: I had a great time out there, a lot of
- 20:00Speaker 12: games and you know the Ferris wheel.
- 20:02Speaker 5: Yeah, wow, really good times.
- 20:05Speaker 12: Yeah it really was without the kids, right, yeah.
- 20:10Speaker 5: My jeers. It's to my youngest son. He is seventeen.
- 20:15Speaker 12: I went out yesterday to talk to some people at
- 20:17Speaker 12: the World Cup FIFA event.
- 20:19Speaker 5: You go hear that audio later. Well, we left because
- 20:22Speaker 5: it was hot.
- 20:22Speaker 12: Af and we came back just a little bit before
- 20:24Speaker 12: halftime to about ten kids in my living room watching
- 20:29Speaker 12: the World Cup without.
- 20:31Speaker 7: Being knowing no idea.
- 20:33Speaker 12: And we were stupid because we brought food home for
- 20:36Speaker 12: our kids, thinking we'd be nice and instead we're eating
- 20:38Speaker 12: food in front of eight other kids.
- 20:41Speaker 5: And like, he figured it out on your own.
- 20:43Speaker 2: Man, So how are you supposed to know? You don't
- 20:44Speaker 2: feel bad about that?
- 20:45Speaker 12: Nah?
- 20:46Speaker 5: Cheers to my son for not communicating surprise.
- 20:49Speaker 2: Was he like, sorry?
- 20:50Speaker 3: Good?
- 20:51Speaker 5: He's all bro though, you guys are going to be gone.
- 20:53Speaker 2: Yeah, it's like all the kids are. They're just looking
- 20:57Speaker 2: forward to coming home to a nice chill house. Yeah,
- 21:00Speaker 2: had a little meal and the air conditioning sweating your au.
- 21:06Speaker 6: Is not too much to ask.
- 21:07Speaker 12: Yeah, So my wife was a boss. She said you
- 21:09Speaker 12: could go watch it outside. Yeah, because we have a
- 21:11Speaker 12: TV out there, So you go outside.
- 21:13Speaker 2: I'm like, babe, don't do that, man, uh menace cheers
- 21:17Speaker 2: and jeers.
- 21:18Speaker 5: Well, I went to the same birthday party as you,
- 21:20Speaker 5: So that was super fun. And then like just seeing
- 21:22Speaker 5: a lot of old friends because of the gathering, Like
- 21:24Speaker 5: a lot of these people that that we see we
- 21:26Speaker 5: probably known probably over twenty twenty five years was realer cool.
- 21:30Speaker 5: So that was fun. But I felt like I was
- 21:33Speaker 5: Sammy and Greg over the weekend because I was doing
- 21:35Speaker 5: a lot of like home stuff and I was organizing
- 21:39Speaker 5: my closet. Was very exciting, very cathartic, right, like getting
- 21:43Speaker 5: rid of old stuff. Yeah, it's a lot of clothes
- 21:45Speaker 5: and like donating stuff. So just like getting when you
- 21:47Speaker 5: do a project that it does feel.
- 21:48Speaker 7: Good, it's awesome. Yeah, and then you realize how much
- 21:50Speaker 7: junk you.
- 21:51Speaker 5: Oh my god, so much stuff that's like unnecessary. So
- 21:54Speaker 5: got rid of that and just uh went grocery shopping
- 21:57Speaker 5: and dude, groceries don't tell see best. They are pretty expensive.
- 22:02Speaker 5: So I actually did some homework So that was fun.
- 22:05Speaker 5: But my jeers is that I still have friends that
- 22:08Speaker 5: will party till like three and four in the morning
- 22:10Speaker 5: and they say, hey, you know what, I'm gonna call
- 22:13Speaker 5: you now. You're like, hey, why don't you do do
- 22:15Speaker 5: not disturb, which I do like all the time. But
- 22:19Speaker 5: there is a hack where if you call like three
- 22:21Speaker 5: times in a row anyway go all the way through.
- 22:25Speaker 5: So my friends are like calling me at three in
- 22:27Speaker 5: the morning and I went to bed at midnight and
- 22:30Speaker 5: they're calling me at three and they're like, hey, what
- 22:32Speaker 5: are you doing. I'm like in bed, yeah, So we're
- 22:34Speaker 5: just gonna mess around. So it's it's nice that they
- 22:36Speaker 5: were thinking about me, But I was planning on getting
- 22:39Speaker 5: up at six in the morning so I can watch
- 22:40Speaker 5: the F one race. So like my whole Sunday, I
- 22:44Speaker 5: was just like dragging the entire time. But my friends
- 22:47Speaker 5: are way too old to be out until at three
- 22:51Speaker 5: am and partying and trying to call me. I applaud
- 22:53Speaker 5: the energy, yeah, but no, go to bed at midnight?
- 22:56Speaker 2: Man, where are they are? They out out?
- 22:57Speaker 5: Yeah, like San.
- 22:58Speaker 6: Francisco, Like, oh, you know outside?
- 23:01Speaker 7: God Like why allowing me?
- 23:03Speaker 2: Yeah, I said Greg. A clip of What's it played?
- 23:07Speaker 2: Joey on Friends? Oh, matt Leblank, matt LeBlanc matt LeBlanc
- 23:10Speaker 2: is a great clip that goes around the internet. You
- 23:12Speaker 2: see it every once in a while where he's talking
- 23:14Speaker 2: about like, after ten years of friends and then two
- 23:16Speaker 2: years of Joey, he decided he was going to take
- 23:18Speaker 2: a year off, year off, and he took a year
- 23:20Speaker 2: off and he's like, man, that was great, I'm gonna
- 23:22Speaker 2: take another one. One more, and he took one more
- 23:24Speaker 2: and he goes and that one was better than.
- 23:26Speaker 7: The first one.
- 23:28Speaker 2: So he's like, all right, one more. Well you did
- 23:29Speaker 2: that for like five or six years. And then he
- 23:32Speaker 2: was talking about how he's like dude, more than anything else.
- 23:35Speaker 2: He goes, all they want to do. My favorite thing
- 23:38Speaker 2: to do is nothing. Nothing. God, that's right. That's just
- 23:43Speaker 2: like he's like, dude, And here's a guy.
- 23:44Speaker 7: It's like he opened up the book of truth.
- 23:46Speaker 2: And here's a guy who could do and he wants.
- 23:51Speaker 7: Making twenty million a year doing nothing.
- 23:53Speaker 2: Yeah, just doing nothing, doing nothing. Literally, they say, get
- 23:56Speaker 2: paid to do what you love, and he that. But
- 24:00Speaker 2: here's a guy who could afford to travel anywhere he
- 24:04Speaker 2: wants to go, do whatever he would want to and
- 24:06Speaker 2: what does he choose? Nothing?
- 24:09Speaker 7: Nothing. I'm just going to stay home.
- 24:11Speaker 2: That sounds great.
- 24:12Speaker 7: That's the wet dream.
- 24:16Speaker 2: Like you used to feel more guilty for being quote boring. Yeah,
- 24:19Speaker 2: now it's like I revel in it. It's totally dude,
- 24:22Speaker 2: this is this is great. This is a perfect fit.
- 24:25Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 24:25Speaker 6: I feel like I've always been that way and it
- 24:27Speaker 6: was pretty shaming until COVID and then everyone started getting
- 24:30Speaker 6: on board.
- 24:31Speaker 2: Now you see, now you see how great home could
- 24:33Speaker 2: be Yeah, people always ask the same thing, wouldn't you
- 24:36Speaker 2: get bored?
- 24:39Speaker 7: And if you did well, then do something.
- 24:41Speaker 2: I feel like after years of you know, doing this
- 24:44Speaker 2: job with you know, the bosses and the consultants and
- 24:46Speaker 2: everything else, They're like, you got to get out there
- 24:49Speaker 2: and you got to live, you know, the life that
- 24:51Speaker 2: your listeners really want you to live, and you know,
- 24:54Speaker 2: do the things that they want to do so that
- 24:55Speaker 2: you can get on the air and you could talk
- 24:57Speaker 2: about it and be that you feel like earlier, you know,
- 25:02Speaker 2: maybe in your career, like you need to do more
- 25:04Speaker 2: of that stuff, and you forced yourself out to show
- 25:07Speaker 2: how you're out at all the concerts and doing all
- 25:10Speaker 2: the things. Now it's like, wow, what'd you do this weekend? Nothing?
- 25:13Speaker 6: Man, Look Jeff g went to birthday Yeah that was
- 25:17Speaker 6: a thing.
- 25:18Speaker 5: Yeah, we all did.
- 25:19Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 25:20Speaker 7: I went skydiving with a bunch of rock stars. Yeah. Yeah.
- 25:23Speaker 2: It's like, No, I didn't do anything.
- 25:24Speaker 7: No, we went to Goodwill to donate clothing.
- 25:27Speaker 2: Yeah, here's the Chili peppers. I did nothing. That's it.
- 25:31Speaker 2: Eight seven seven forty four. Wooding text us two two
- 25:34Speaker 2: nine eight seven. Gina's got the trending news headlines for
- 25:37Speaker 2: US next hang on.
- 25:39Speaker 7: The show.
- 25:42Speaker 2: And gena Grad's gonna tell us what's happening with the
- 25:44Speaker 2: trending news headlines.
- 25:46Speaker 6: Well, after a month of games, the World Cup is
- 25:48Speaker 6: finally over and tons of celebs came out for the
- 25:51Speaker 6: championship match. Timothy Shallow, may Kylie Jenner, Jay Z, Beyonce,
- 25:55Speaker 6: Tom Cruise putters than Trump, do Alapa often, Butler's so
- 25:57Speaker 6: many more onless. Oh my god. They Spain beat Argentina
- 26:01Speaker 6: one to nothing. The only goal of the match, by
- 26:03Speaker 6: the way, didn't come until the one hundred and sixth
- 26:06Speaker 6: minute of extra time.
- 26:11Speaker 5: About this.
- 26:46Speaker 7: All right, it's over now right now?
- 26:50Speaker 6: Yeah, it's a rap. It's a wrap onlinel messy by
- 26:52Speaker 6: the way, in the World Cup, along with I will
- 26:54Speaker 6: miss this a little, tourists shouting out our fast food
- 26:57Speaker 6: and our hospitality and of course our ranch dressing. Yeah
- 27:00Speaker 6: I love that. Well, UK influencers and you know, all
- 27:03Speaker 6: around pieces of Ish. Andrew Tait and his brother Tristan
- 27:06Speaker 6: have been arrested in Miami, Florida after British police issued
- 27:10Speaker 6: thirty eight new charges against them. They're trying to get
- 27:13Speaker 6: them sent back to the UK on a total of
- 27:15Speaker 6: fifty nine different charges Andrew Tate's being charged with seven
- 27:19Speaker 6: new counts of rape, plus sex trafficking and sexual exploitation.
- 27:22Speaker 6: But wait, it gets worse. He's also being charged with
- 27:25Speaker 6: having indecent pictures of a child. His brother, Tristan is
- 27:29Speaker 6: also being charged with two new counts of rape and
- 27:31Speaker 6: three counts of sex trafficking.
- 27:32Speaker 2: Yeah. I don't know anything about these guys other than
- 27:35Speaker 2: I recognize their names. They come up every once in
- 27:37Speaker 2: a while. It kind of died off for a while,
- 27:39Speaker 2: but they were all over the place, what a handful
- 27:41Speaker 2: of years ago. I don't know anything about them at all.
- 27:44Speaker 2: But what's interesting is the people that defend them are
- 27:47Speaker 2: like crazy passionate things, like they're being set up or
- 27:51Speaker 2: I don't know, I have no idea. Don't talk to
- 27:53Speaker 2: me about the cause I don't know anything about it.
- 27:55Speaker 5: Morgan and I we would see these guys just recently
- 27:59Speaker 5: in I guess, like quite a few times, and people
- 28:02Speaker 5: are just running to go take photos with them.
- 28:05Speaker 6: I'd rather know who those people are so I could
- 28:07Speaker 6: stay away. The Tape Brothers. They spent a lot of
- 28:10Speaker 6: months under house arrest in Romania for all these types
- 28:12Speaker 6: of crimes, but they were allowed to come back here
- 28:15Speaker 6: to the US, so hopefully so.
- 28:16Speaker 2: These like real real things or like are the people
- 28:20Speaker 2: going after them because they don't like them? Like, what
- 28:21Speaker 2: is the what's what's what's the story on them?
- 28:24Speaker 5: Well, they're how do I explain it?
- 28:27Speaker 6: Well, they kind of manosphere. Is that what is called?
- 28:30Speaker 5: Well, it's just like, yeah, like women are not big
- 28:33Speaker 5: fans because they call the misogynists and uh. And then
- 28:36Speaker 5: they put out a lot of that content of like
- 28:40Speaker 5: of being like kind of like tough guys stuff. But
- 28:43Speaker 5: they're like whole business. It's like kind of like OnlyFans
- 28:46Speaker 5: type stuff.
- 28:47Speaker 7: And then.
- 28:49Speaker 5: I don't know how to explain it. Yeah, So what's.
- 28:52Speaker 2: The thought or the thought of all these crimes are
- 28:54Speaker 2: legit or these people who are saying like they're like
- 28:57Speaker 2: like some of these people that that cry, oh he
- 29:01Speaker 2: sexually the Trevor Bauer.
- 29:02Speaker 6: I mean it sounds like they're they're pimps and that
- 29:06Speaker 6: that's what all the sex trafficking charges are.
- 29:08Speaker 12: I Mean the way I look at it is you're
- 29:09Speaker 12: not going to get extradition and have almost sixty charges
- 29:13Speaker 12: unless you have some Yeah.
- 29:15Speaker 2: There's something something. Yeah, But like my question, so there's
- 29:20Speaker 2: been this cry about them for a long time and
- 29:22Speaker 2: they're start there walking around, so like, what's going on.
- 29:24Speaker 5: Well, they were.
- 29:25Speaker 6: Allowed back in the US, I think by President Trump.
- 29:29Speaker 6: So people are not a big fan of that. So
- 29:31Speaker 6: but the best part of the whole thing was the
- 29:33Speaker 6: outfit that he got arrested in. I posted to because
- 29:36Speaker 6: Peg Bundy wears the same outfit in the Old Married
- 29:38Speaker 6: with Children, skin tight purple v neck with those skin
- 29:42Speaker 6: tight leggings. It was fantastic.
- 29:44Speaker 2: Nobody's with the Jesus exactly. That's why I picture when
- 29:49Speaker 2: you just exactly right.
- 29:51Speaker 6: Well, Christopher Nolans. The Odyssey dominated the weekend box office.
- 29:55Speaker 6: They raked in two hundred and sixty four million dollars worldwide.
- 29:58Speaker 6: That's better than the opening of Oppenheimer, which was also huge, huge, huge.
- 30:02Speaker 6: The Odyssey has a giant cast, Matt Damon's and Deya
- 30:06Speaker 6: and Hathaway, Tom holland so many more. And one of
- 30:08Speaker 6: the driving forces behind The Odyssey making all this money
- 30:11Speaker 6: is the fact that it's available to watch in a
- 30:13Speaker 6: bunch of different formats like seventy millimeter imax. The movie
- 30:17Speaker 6: cousted two two hundred fifty million to make Universals spent
- 30:20Speaker 6: one hundred and twenty five million on marketing, So looks
- 30:23Speaker 6: like they'll make that back with no problem. And in
- 30:25Speaker 6: case you're wondering, Christopher Nolan's highest grossing movie that was
- 30:28Speaker 6: Oppenheimer made almost a billion dollars.
- 30:31Speaker 7: It was a billion hours long.
- 30:32Speaker 5: Yeah, I really was.
- 30:33Speaker 6: So we'll see if it if it succeeds in that way.
- 30:37Speaker 7: I couldn't even finish it.
- 30:38Speaker 6: It was kind of long. And I do love Christopher Nolan,
- 30:41Speaker 6: but that was pretty long. Well, the FDA has been
- 30:44Speaker 6: trying to figure out the source of this damn cyclospora
- 30:47Speaker 6: outbreak here in the US, and Taco Bell catching strays
- 30:50Speaker 6: for possibly being the source. They even pulled stuff like
- 30:53Speaker 6: lettuce and cilantro and.
- 30:55Speaker 2: Jis you just went to Taco Bell. You survived perfectly.
- 30:57Speaker 6: Fine, Yeah you're here.
- 30:58Speaker 5: Yeah you're to tell the tale.
- 31:00Speaker 2: Lettuce or anything from there. Yeah, yeah, I was good.
- 31:02Speaker 5: And it's just like they they keep on getting caught
- 31:06Speaker 5: up in the news about being part of this, but
- 31:09Speaker 5: they just said they pulled the lettuce themselves.
- 31:11Speaker 6: Well here's yeah, let me give you a little more
- 31:13Speaker 6: info on that, because the plot has thickened because over
- 31:16Speaker 6: the weekend, the FDA said a sample of the shredded
- 31:18Speaker 6: iceberg lettuce from Taylor Farms, New Mexico. They supply Taco
- 31:21Speaker 6: Bell tested positive for cyclospora, but it turns out it
- 31:25Speaker 6: was a false positive. So we're back to square one
- 31:27Speaker 6: with this whole thing. And what sucks is the FDA
- 31:31Speaker 6: already started a recall of everything from Taylor Farms, New Mexico,
- 31:34Speaker 6: all the shredded lettuce across the country. They stopped sending
- 31:37Speaker 6: it out. They're recalling it from vendors and customers, so
- 31:40Speaker 6: a lot of this product will be wasted. And of
- 31:42Speaker 6: course their name is dragged through the mud, so that
- 31:45Speaker 6: sucks for them.
- 31:45Speaker 2: So like Tailor Farms, aren't they the ones that make
- 31:47Speaker 2: those bag salads?
- 31:48Speaker 7: Yeah, yeah, they make those as well.
- 31:49Speaker 2: Yeah they do that have really good like it's a
- 31:51Speaker 2: it's a bacon ranch caesar ye bacon oh man, really good?
- 31:57Speaker 2: Oh easy, and crap like a Mexican street corner. Really good.
- 32:04Speaker 7: They have this broccoli one and the dressing is kind
- 32:06Speaker 7: of sweet.
- 32:06Speaker 5: It's get back on.
- 32:11Speaker 7: It's worth it anyway.
- 32:14Speaker 6: And finally, oh my god, Sammy, have you seen it?
- 32:17Speaker 6: We finally wrap up the news with some raccoon news.
- 32:26Speaker 2: Then it started the raccoon news.
- 32:29Speaker 6: Some raccoon and I'm sure you've seen this.
- 32:32Speaker 5: They're always up to something.
- 32:33Speaker 6: Weird looking raccoon has been roaming the streets of Seattle.
- 32:37Speaker 6: The public has named him Jimothy. And someone got a
- 32:40Speaker 6: little video of this little guy running across the yard
- 32:42Speaker 6: and he looks so weird. He's like this mutant raccoon.
- 32:45Speaker 6: He's short, he's stubby, he has no tail. It looks
- 32:48Speaker 6: like a couche ball. They couldn't figure out what it was,
- 32:52Speaker 6: like a little chupacabra. So wildlife.
- 32:56Speaker 5: Actually some dogs look like that sometimes.
- 32:58Speaker 6: Yeah, they're they're a little strange look and so wild
- 33:00Speaker 6: experts say Jimothy has this rare condition called short syndrome.
- 33:04Speaker 6: It is Jimothy. Okay, he's been named Jimothy. But other
- 33:07Speaker 6: than that, he's just a normal little raccoon, so.
- 33:10Speaker 7: You know, function normally and all that.
- 33:12Speaker 6: Jimothy.
- 33:13Speaker 7: So we've had spine.
- 33:14Speaker 6: Mood Dang, We've had Haggis, we've had Punch the monkey.
- 33:17Speaker 6: Now we have Jimothy.
- 33:19Speaker 2: It's weird. I don't hear anything from Gina about moo Dang.
- 33:24Speaker 6: Obsessed with modangs. Moodang's all grown up now, No longer
- 33:28Speaker 6: cue and punches. Punch is doing good like these are
- 33:31Speaker 6: just these are animals we're focused on when they're having
- 33:33Speaker 6: like issues, and now they're good and we can move
- 33:35Speaker 6: on and you know, worry about another animal like jimmithy.
- 33:43Speaker 2: Raccoon.
- 33:47Speaker 6: So that's what's going on, all.
- 33:48Speaker 2: Right, Thank you very much, Gina Grant. Yep, we're doing it.
- 33:57Speaker 2: I can flity show. So the dude in Kansas City
- 34:03Speaker 2: who got stuck in the porta potty and had to
- 34:05Speaker 2: get rescued. Now, when we talked about this, we didn't
- 34:08Speaker 2: know like why or how he managed to get himself stuck.
- 34:13Speaker 2: We had a story a couple of weeks ago, a boy,
- 34:16Speaker 2: a guy who dropped his cell phone in there. Yeah,
- 34:19Speaker 2: and that's how he went to go down there, you know,
- 34:21Speaker 2: fished out and he got stuck. I had to get the
- 34:22Speaker 2: rescue this guy, this Kansas City guy, we had we
- 34:25Speaker 2: weren't sure the details. They hadn't they hadn't disclosed that yet,
- 34:28Speaker 2: But now we do. Here is a spokesperson from the
- 34:32Speaker 2: fire department who had to go there and rescue this
- 34:34Speaker 2: guy from the porta potty. Remember they were kind of
- 34:36Speaker 2: fighting with him.
- 34:38Speaker 5: Yeah, he wasn't young dude.
- 34:40Speaker 2: Come on, let's go dude, move it. No, move ahead,
- 34:43Speaker 2: come on anyway, here's a spokesperson from the fire department
- 34:47Speaker 2: talking to reporters and the reason why he was down there.
- 34:50Speaker 13: Knocked again, the man inside said he was not going
- 34:53Speaker 13: to get out. They looked inside and didn't see anybody.
- 34:56Speaker 13: If the lid was closed, no one was in the restroom.
- 34:59Speaker 13: It kind of starved. All of a sudden, a head
- 35:02Speaker 13: popped out of the toilet and he said, I'm in
- 35:04Speaker 13: here befall them. He was retrieving a mountain dew bottle
- 35:08Speaker 13: that you dropped them from the night before. After it
- 35:10Speaker 13: was cut out and the man was able to atch
- 35:12Speaker 13: the toilet, the fire department did hook up water to
- 35:15Speaker 13: their truck and gave him a free shower.
- 35:18Speaker 5: Oh my god.
- 35:19Speaker 2: Yeah, Well, he had been there like eight hours, so
- 35:21Speaker 2: he wanted a mount dew bottle. He dropped a mountain
- 35:24Speaker 2: dew bottle in there, like he's gone in there, like there's.
- 35:27Speaker 5: There like a story contest with mountain.
- 35:29Speaker 2: Dew that I don't know about the bottle talking about
- 35:33Speaker 2: there's way more to the story than you dropped a
- 35:35Speaker 2: mountain doom.
- 35:37Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 35:37Speaker 5: I love the do but come on, I'll go buy
- 35:40Speaker 5: a new one, not the do doos whose diamonds I
- 35:44Speaker 5: don't know. Yeah, wait, you were talking about shaking big meth.
- 35:47Speaker 5: Do they make in those like like bottles like that?
- 35:49Speaker 5: How does that work?
- 35:50Speaker 2: Uh? Yeah, you know what, it's something like that.
- 35:54Speaker 5: Yeah, maybe there was meth inside.
- 35:56Speaker 2: Yeah, I think it's not nothing fancy obviously.
- 35:59Speaker 7: Yeah, can'ty to google it?
- 36:02Speaker 2: How to make How about some other classy news?
- 36:07Speaker 13: Uh?
- 36:08Speaker 2: In the get to police in Florida pulled this car
- 36:11Speaker 2: over for illegal tint and they were talking to the
- 36:14Speaker 2: chick behind the wheel, forty six year old crew Tell
- 36:17Speaker 2: McRae w, who was being difficult. So she was arrested.
- 36:21Speaker 2: But then the broaden the passenger seat, twenty six year
- 36:24Speaker 2: old Yoshi Smith was acting up and being difficult as well,
- 36:28Speaker 2: so they pulled her ass out of the car. And
- 36:31Speaker 2: as they were doing that, they noticed a bunch of
- 36:33Speaker 2: little plastic bags on the floor with a quote white
- 36:36Speaker 2: rock like substance in it. And so Creutel wasn't about
- 36:41Speaker 2: to take the fall for that. She starts yelling out
- 36:43Speaker 2: about her whole girl, like, you know, needs to take
- 36:46Speaker 2: responsibility for her stuff. Oh damn dude. Well yeah, here's
- 36:50Speaker 2: you know, that's that's the thing. I don't know, it
- 36:53Speaker 2: depends on what your record looks like. Yeah, but like,
- 36:57Speaker 2: you know, I'm not taking the fall, Like if I'm
- 36:59Speaker 2: driving with Menis and he's got a bunch of bags
- 37:02Speaker 2: on the ground like with you know, white rock like
- 37:05Speaker 2: substances coming, Like, dude, I'm not taking I'm not taking
- 37:08Speaker 2: the fall for that.
- 37:08Speaker 5: It's my car. Yeah yeah, cookies yeah yeah.
- 37:15Speaker 6: But anyway, so bitches snitching.
- 37:17Speaker 2: Yeah, Yo, she's putting cuffs and as they're walking her
- 37:20Speaker 2: to the cop car, another bag falls out of her pants.
- 37:24Speaker 2: That bag had been hidden up her butt, so they
- 37:27Speaker 2: get it out in the police station and they did
- 37:29Speaker 2: a proper search, and that's when they found even more
- 37:31Speaker 2: drugs hidden in her butt, up her vadge and in
- 37:37Speaker 2: between and under her boobs, various types, mostly pills, including
- 37:43Speaker 2: some fentanyl. Oh and it turns out she was already
- 37:46Speaker 2: on probation for grand theft and dealing in stolen profits, so.
- 37:51Speaker 7: She couldn't do the whole those aren't my pants thing exactly.
- 37:55Speaker 6: Because although that does sound like a fun contest to
- 37:59Speaker 6: have like one hundred little baggies and see who which
- 38:02Speaker 6: one of us can like hide.
- 38:04Speaker 7: And you know, fentanyl at least in the cheeks, cheek like.
- 38:09Speaker 5: Look, I sat on a park bench. I don't know
- 38:11Speaker 5: how it got there.
- 38:13Speaker 7: Yeah, sure, I was wearing a skirt, no underwear.
- 38:16Speaker 5: Yeah, park bench.
- 38:18Speaker 2: And then therese three painters in Phoenix. They were arrested
- 38:23Speaker 2: after they were caught running a paint burglary ring.
- 38:27Speaker 7: That's crazy expensive.
- 38:30Speaker 2: Yeah, imagine going the jail over paint.
- 38:33Speaker 6: That seems like such a.
- 38:36Speaker 7: Paint Williams.
- 38:37Speaker 5: How much is paint these days for like a buggets
- 38:40Speaker 5: like fifty yeow.
- 38:45Speaker 2: So the group they were stealing paint from businesses. The cops, uh,
- 38:49Speaker 2: they they got these guys. One of the business I
- 38:51Speaker 2: guess got hit. And then they got smart and they
- 38:55Speaker 2: started hiding air tags in the paint cans.
- 38:58Speaker 7: Smart.
- 38:58Speaker 2: Yeah, they air tag led the cops straight to this
- 39:01Speaker 2: apartment with this car outside just full of stolen paint cans.
- 39:05Speaker 2: So they had stolen about forty thousand dollars worth of
- 39:08Speaker 2: paint cans. Yeah, and then they were reselling it in
- 39:11Speaker 2: order to make ends meet. And so they were all arrested.
- 39:14Speaker 2: Taking the jail they're facing like you know, all these
- 39:16Speaker 2: burglary charges and things.
- 39:19Speaker 5: The new copper wire right paint.
- 39:21Speaker 6: Yeah, it's so bulky and clunky, and if you spill it,
- 39:25Speaker 6: everybody knows where you are, Like, how do you.
- 39:26Speaker 5: Get rid of it?
- 39:27Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 39:28Speaker 2: Yeah, So there was a there was a big bust
- 39:31Speaker 2: out by my house over the weekend where they got
- 39:35Speaker 2: these guys with like all this stolen stuff, like big
- 39:38Speaker 2: rider trucks full of stolen goods from businesses or something. Right,
- 39:44Speaker 2: And so it's listing all the charges on there, and
- 39:47Speaker 2: it was like four guys. It turns out they're all
- 39:49Speaker 2: part of like either some not either. It was like
- 39:52Speaker 2: Armenians and Indians like mother like mobsters though like organized
- 39:57Speaker 2: like an organized crime, professional crime. Yeah yeah, and so
- 40:01Speaker 2: like uh, it seemed to be like a lot of
- 40:04Speaker 2: like supplements and stuff like that. You know. So anyway,
- 40:08Speaker 2: I'm looking at the arrest report and all of these
- 40:11Speaker 2: guys these are all felonies. They had tons of stuff,
- 40:14Speaker 2: and I guess they had done this for with a
- 40:17Speaker 2: number of different uh you know, you know, businesses or
- 40:20Speaker 2: vehicles or whatever that they got. And they were all arrested,
- 40:24Speaker 2: charged with the felony and then just released of course
- 40:27Speaker 2: on no cash bail, zero cash bail.
- 40:32Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 40:33Speaker 2: So you get, you get picked up for I mean
- 40:35Speaker 2: I don't know how much. Yeah, truckloads of stolen stuff.
- 40:39Speaker 5: How do you not just leave, you know, like you
- 40:42Speaker 5: stick around for a trial when you have that many charges.
- 40:45Speaker 2: Yeah. And then I'm looking at the the arrest report too,
- 40:48Speaker 2: and it says nothing. There's like, no, they have no uh,
- 40:52Speaker 2: they have no legal address listed. You should not only
- 40:59Speaker 2: turn them, don't even have to get bailed out. Wow,
- 41:03Speaker 2: fella hell felony. Yeah, it was just it was just
- 41:06Speaker 2: written up. And that you have that local Instagram account
- 41:09Speaker 2: that we follow.
- 41:10Speaker 6: Yeah, that's great.
- 41:11Speaker 2: And then k t l A ran a big news
- 41:13Speaker 2: story about it because I was like, oh, anything that
- 41:15Speaker 2: happens in your area, You're like, oh, what the hell
- 41:17Speaker 2: is it? Yeah, all these guys are just like see you.
- 41:19Speaker 7: Meanwhile, we're paranoid about ignoring a jury duty summon life. Yeah.
- 41:27Speaker 2: So stupid, so stupid. All right, market to take a
- 41:30Speaker 2: quick break more what he shows next? Thing up? Holy crap,
- 41:34Speaker 2: we screw around just.
- 41:36Speaker 7: For our fun.
- 41:37Speaker 6: And I saw it and I knew you were banging.
- 41:43Speaker 2: The show. We'll be right back.
- 41:48Speaker 3: Is show.
- 41:50Speaker 2: Well, thanks to all the people that showed up for
- 41:52Speaker 2: Booker and Strikers live broadcast on Friday for they were
- 41:55Speaker 2: doing a big Dodgers giveaway, you know, with the Corona,
- 41:58Speaker 2: And today Menace is gonna be out with Habbit Burger Grill.
- 42:03Speaker 2: It's a Dodgers habit home base, yeah, and Echo Park
- 42:07Speaker 2: and Echo Park.
- 42:07Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 42:07Speaker 2: So it's a good Dodgers watch party. They're taking on
- 42:10Speaker 2: the Phillies. But your chance to win Dodgers tickets and
- 42:13Speaker 2: a whole bunch of other stuff. We got a bunch

- 42:36Speaker 2: woodieshow dot Com and I could find it there and
- 42:39Speaker 2: you could do that. Go see Menace later on this
- 42:41Speaker 2: afternoon something what is quote popular and huge show and
- 42:49Speaker 2: it's another new hour. Cheers and jeers, cheers to something
- 42:57Speaker 2: I haven't done in years. I spent an entire day
- 43:03Speaker 2: with my brother.
- 43:05Speaker 5: Oh really wow, yeah listeners, why not even know you?
- 43:09Speaker 6: Yeah, let's let's back that up.
- 43:11Speaker 2: Yeah. Well, no, I've talked about I didn't grow up
- 43:13Speaker 2: with them like the way I did with my stepsisters
- 43:18Speaker 2: because my dad and my step mom, you know, I
- 43:22Speaker 2: was fifteen by the time he was born, you know.
- 43:25Speaker 2: And uh, and so I was living there, you know,
- 43:27Speaker 2: I would see him from time to time, but I
- 43:29Speaker 2: wasn't living close and so the whole thing that he
- 43:31Speaker 2: goes off to college and moves to Philadelphia and Boston
- 43:35Speaker 2: and all these other things. Anyway, he was just here
- 43:40Speaker 2: for he yeah, like his friends were out and doing
- 43:42Speaker 2: like a bachelor bachelorette party thing.
- 43:45Speaker 5: Uh.
- 43:45Speaker 2: Oh for a lesbian couple.
- 43:47Speaker 7: Greg.
- 43:47Speaker 2: Oh, I know that lipstick lesbos too. Oh yeah, I'm like, dude,
- 43:51Speaker 2: Greg should have gone. Yeah. Anyway, Yeah, his name's Travis,
- 43:56Speaker 2: and I haven't seen them. We were my wife I
- 44:00Speaker 2: were trying to figure out when the last time we
- 44:01Speaker 2: saw him. It had to have been eight years ago.
- 44:04Speaker 2: Wo yeah. Now text or you know, talk like on
- 44:07Speaker 2: the phone, be my dad's or whatever, and he would
- 44:09Speaker 2: call check in things like that. But it was it
- 44:11Speaker 2: was really good to see him. It was really good
- 44:13Speaker 2: to see him, just like chill at the house and talk.
- 44:16Speaker 2: Oh yeah, dude. We flew to brunch, oh my god. Yeah,
- 44:21Speaker 2: and well yeah because like, uh, we had a whole day,
- 44:24Speaker 2: you know, so like we went and uh, you know,
- 44:26Speaker 2: flew somewhere for for brunch, which is cool because then
- 44:29Speaker 2: I got to fly, which is right.
- 44:31Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 44:31Speaker 2: Uh, and then you know, came back to the house
- 44:33Speaker 2: and and hung out there until he had to go
- 44:34Speaker 2: to the airport. He had like a red eye flight.
- 44:36Speaker 2: So yeah, it was great. Got to Yeah, I got
- 44:40Speaker 2: got to uh got to hang out with him. Still
- 44:43Speaker 2: haven't met his he's been with his you know, I
- 44:45Speaker 2: don't even know if it would be fiance, but uh, boyfriend,
- 44:49Speaker 2: husband whatever. Uh, you know, I haven't met him yet.
- 44:53Speaker 2: But yeah, and he lives in they live in Salem, Massachusetts.
- 44:57Speaker 2: So my son, who was like way to Halloween and
- 45:00Speaker 2: all that kind of stuff. There's like all that really
- 45:02Speaker 2: cool stuff. I've never been to Salem, but I think
- 45:05Speaker 2: we're gonna, we're gonna we're gonna make a point to
- 45:07Speaker 2: you know, go out there.
- 45:09Speaker 5: It's over.
- 45:10Speaker 2: It's one of those things, it's like you know, with
- 45:12Speaker 2: with you know, I was fifteen when he was born,
- 45:14Speaker 2: and then I was off at boarding school and then
- 45:17Speaker 2: into my career and moving all the places. We just
- 45:19Speaker 2: never crisscrossed at family stuff at the same time. We
- 45:22Speaker 2: were just always there at different times.
- 45:23Speaker 6: But you're almost two different generations.
- 45:25Speaker 2: It's weird, and so we both, you know, we both
- 45:27Speaker 2: feel you know, bad and guilty that it's been that way,
- 45:29Speaker 2: but it was. It was really cool to see him,
- 45:31Speaker 2: So that's nice. So that's the that's the cheers, the
- 45:34Speaker 2: jeers just to a couple of people.
- 45:37Speaker 7: You know.
- 45:38Speaker 2: Number one is a guy who you know, wasn't super
- 45:41Speaker 2: close with but definitely I would consider him to be
- 45:43Speaker 2: a friend, a colleague in radio. And I just found
- 45:47Speaker 2: out that he died over the weekend and he did.
- 45:50Speaker 2: He was one of these guys that didn't tell anybody
- 45:52Speaker 2: that he was sick and he was going through his
- 45:55Speaker 2: battling cancer. And his name's Mike Marino and super nice guy,
- 46:01Speaker 2: like radio geek. In fact, last year, when I went
- 46:04Speaker 2: to that morning show convention that I was on a
- 46:06Speaker 2: panel out or whatever, he and I you know, flew
- 46:09Speaker 2: there and back on the same flight and like we
- 46:11Speaker 2: just chopped it up almost the entire time. And that
- 46:14Speaker 2: was like the most time I'd spent like in one
- 46:16Speaker 2: kind of sitting with him for a while, but like,
- 46:18Speaker 2: you know, we text all the time. He was always
- 46:20Speaker 2: sending me stuff about the Steelers or whatever, and just
- 46:22Speaker 2: just one of those guys who was like, you can't
- 46:25Speaker 2: not like him. Yeah, yeah, So just a super nice dude.
- 46:28Speaker 2: And I was shocked when there was like an industry
- 46:31Speaker 2: email that went out like breaking news, you know, and
- 46:35Speaker 2: I saw the name like Mike Marina. Then I saw
- 46:37Speaker 2: the picture and then it had like his date of
- 46:39Speaker 2: his birth and then the date the year that, you know,
- 46:41Speaker 2: twenty twenty six. I'm like, what, yeah, yeah, yeah, So
- 46:44Speaker 2: that that was really sad.
- 46:45Speaker 5: He was always very nice to us and very complimentary.
- 46:47Speaker 2: Yeah. And then also we met up Jeff and I
- 46:51Speaker 2: Jeff g and I met up with a friend of
- 46:53Speaker 2: ours who we both used to work for for a
- 46:54Speaker 2: long time. Had lunch with him on Friday. And he's
- 46:58Speaker 2: just been in rough shape and it's just it's sucks
- 47:00Speaker 2: because he's but he's older, you know, he's been around
- 47:02Speaker 2: a long time. He's not a lot of really cool
- 47:04Speaker 2: stuff in radio, but you know, it's just it's a
- 47:07Speaker 2: bummer when you see people that you love and care
- 47:09Speaker 2: about like struggling, you know, going through health stuff, or
- 47:12Speaker 2: you hear about this guy who who passed away. So
- 47:14Speaker 2: that's definitely that is definitely the jeers.
- 47:17Speaker 6: And as you get older, it feels like a little
- 47:19Speaker 6: bit of a reality check.
- 47:20Speaker 2: Yeah it does for me. Yeah, oh for sure, for sure,
- 47:23Speaker 2: love yourself. Uh Greg gory cheers and jeers.
- 47:26Speaker 7: I'm gonna make it my cheers real quick because I
- 47:28Speaker 7: need to, you know, unpack my jeers. So cheers to
- 47:33Speaker 7: drinking beers and watching the third place game in the
- 47:36Speaker 7: World Cup. I actually quite enjoyed it nice. And everybody says, oh,
- 47:41Speaker 7: soccer is such a low scoring game, that particular game
- 47:43Speaker 7: was not. The vibe was cool that it was fun.
- 47:47Speaker 7: I kind of got bummed out that I hadn't started
- 47:49Speaker 7: watching a little bit earlier, but I'm not gonna miss
- 47:52Speaker 7: it whatever, it'll be back. So that was actually really fun.
- 47:55Speaker 7: Now my jeers, and there's some audio that.
- 47:58Speaker 2: I'm trying to I'm trying now all of a sudden,
- 48:00Speaker 2: I gotta now, I gotta try to dig and find
- 48:02Speaker 2: this stupid clip we had it.
- 48:03Speaker 7: Okay, Well, let mean while you look for it, I'll
- 48:06Speaker 7: set it up. So jeers to terrible parents who let
- 48:12Speaker 7: the kids rule the show and rule their lives. Parents
- 48:16Speaker 7: who won't step in to write a situation. So I
- 48:21Speaker 7: don't think I have the initial clip. Oh you don't, no, Jeff.
- 48:25Speaker 7: If you can find that initial clip again, that'd be great.
- 48:27Speaker 2: Okay, I just I could do it from my phone.
- 48:32Speaker 5: I was just going through a target yesterday. Kids just
- 48:35Speaker 5: running all over the place, almost running into me, screaming, yelling,
- 48:39Speaker 5: and I'm like.
- 48:39Speaker 7: Where are the parents? Where are the parents?
- 48:42Speaker 5: My day, I'll just like be grabbed and pulled outside.
- 48:45Speaker 2: Oh.
- 48:46Speaker 7: Absolutely, So here's the deal. Sunday morning, seven thirty in
- 48:50Speaker 7: the morning, I'm taking my morning poo poo.
- 48:53Speaker 5: Yah lucky.
- 48:54Speaker 7: I'm upstairs, door closed, The bathroom fan is on, so
- 48:59Speaker 7: there's some backgrounds, and I thought I heard screaming, and
- 49:03Speaker 7: I thought that's strange. Finish up in the bathroom, go
- 49:06Speaker 7: into the bedroom to make the bed, and if you're
- 49:08Speaker 7: gonna do it properly, that takes about five to ten minutes. Yeah,
- 49:11Speaker 7: that entire time, I still hear screaming. I go downstairs,
- 49:15Speaker 7: open the front door. Mario's sitting there looking like you
- 49:18Speaker 7: just saw ghost, Like, can you believe this? This screaming
- 49:21Speaker 7: going on. It's a toddler aged kid screaming, screaming, screaming, screaming.
- 49:28Speaker 7: No parents can be heard. These are people two doors
- 49:32Speaker 7: down from us in this little corridor, the most blood
- 49:37Speaker 7: curdling screams, crying. So hopefully I wish I had a clip.
- 49:42Speaker 7: Hopefully we can find the audio.
- 49:43Speaker 5: Greg.
- 49:43Speaker 2: Greg got a clip of it. But I've been having
- 49:45Speaker 2: so many issues with this this audio system that we have.
- 49:50Speaker 2: It's driving me nuts.
- 49:51Speaker 6: But also I'm okay with not hearing them.
- 49:55Speaker 2: Hear Sammy, just tell me literally, I have.
- 49:58Speaker 6: Literally told my neighbors not to call the police before
- 50:02Speaker 6: when the kid was that age, you get a sliver
- 50:04Speaker 6: in his finger.
- 50:04Speaker 7: Yeah, I thought maybe it was police worthy because I
- 50:07Speaker 7: thought maybe maybe the kid was being distracked.
- 50:09Speaker 5: Or when we do find the record, you're saying, this
- 50:12Speaker 5: is from two houses down, Yes.
- 50:14Speaker 7: Two doors down. Here we go. We got it right, Okay,
- 50:17Speaker 7: we got it. Finally, this is what I heard at
- 50:20Speaker 7: the beginning when I decided, you know what, I'm going
- 50:22Speaker 7: to capture this on audio. This is this little kid
- 50:26Speaker 7: screaming song. We're supposed to guess and then we're going
- 50:29Speaker 7: to play a game. Why was she crying?
- 50:31Speaker 2: Why are they crying?
- 50:32Speaker 5: Right?
- 50:32Speaker 2: And I don't know the answer. Greg hasn't told anybody yet, right, Yeah,
- 50:35Speaker 2: so we can play the game. Why are they crying?
- 50:36Speaker 2: Here we go.
- 50:48Speaker 5: Two doors down.
- 50:52Speaker 7: Oh so this went on for a long while. That's
- 51:03Speaker 7: the second part of this story. But why was she crying?
- 51:05Speaker 6: Okay was stabbing?
- 51:08Speaker 2: He's got multiple multiplie, that's how the game works. I
- 51:11Speaker 2: don't think you've been here since we've done around ago.
- 51:13Speaker 2: Why there's always multiple choice?
- 51:15Speaker 6: I'm ready.
- 51:15Speaker 7: Was she getting both legs amputated with a rusty butter
- 51:18Speaker 7: knife without anesthesia?
- 51:20Speaker 6: Probably?
- 51:21Speaker 7: Was she having all her toy set on fire right
- 51:23Speaker 7: before her eyes while her puppy was being hauled away
- 51:26Speaker 7: to a kill shelter and the trauma caused her to
- 51:28Speaker 7: get possessed by satan. Or or she didn't want to
- 51:32Speaker 7: get out of bed and go to the beach with
- 51:34Speaker 7: her mom.
- 51:37Speaker 5: I'm saying butter knife, toys on fire?
- 51:40Speaker 6: Yeah, toys on fire.
- 51:42Speaker 7: She didn't want to get out of bed. And I
- 51:44Speaker 7: did not hear the parents intervene into the screaming For
- 51:48Speaker 7: how long? Was it sixteen minutes? Was it forty six minutes?
- 51:54Speaker 7: Or was it one hour and twenty six minutes until
- 51:58Speaker 7: I heard one word from a er one word.
- 52:01Speaker 2: Well, I mean he even seems high. The fact that
- 52:03Speaker 2: was so specific, I'll say it was the hour and
- 52:06Speaker 2: twenty six minutes.
- 52:07Speaker 7: What he is correct? You win an hour, that's crazy,
- 52:10Speaker 7: twenty six minutes, that's crazy. The parents finally emerge from
- 52:14Speaker 7: the yeah let him cried out condo, and some neighbors
- 52:18Speaker 7: are walking by looking at them, and they said to
- 52:20Speaker 7: the mom, quite a morning you're having, right. That would
- 52:23Speaker 7: have been the perfect opportunity for the bomb to say
- 52:25Speaker 7: I know, I'm so sorry, and nope, she didn't. She
- 52:28Speaker 7: just said, yeah, it is and she leaves. Then the
- 52:31Speaker 7: dad comes out with satan. Does he say to her, okay, enough,
- 52:37Speaker 7: it's been an hour and a half of blood curdling screams. No,
- 52:41Speaker 7: he says, do you want to hold daddy's hand?
- 52:44Speaker 5: Oh?
- 52:45Speaker 7: Do you want to go and sit in the car?
- 52:47Speaker 7: Do you want to go join mommy.
- 52:48Speaker 5: At the beach?
- 52:49Speaker 7: And she's still screaming. Now they're outside the house, she's
- 52:53Speaker 7: still screaming as if she's getting body parts removed. And
- 52:57Speaker 7: then he says, okay, honey, I'll wait until you're ready,
- 53:01Speaker 7: and she screamed for another twenty minutes.
- 53:04Speaker 2: What do they call this gentle parenting?
- 53:06Speaker 6: Gentle parenting does not work on gentle children, on non
- 53:10Speaker 6: gentle children, it was she sounds like a pain in
- 53:12Speaker 6: the ass.
- 53:12Speaker 2: I don't think gentle parenting works at all, because you
- 53:15Speaker 2: get these little pricks that think they're in charge and
- 53:18Speaker 2: that you can't give them the false hope that they're
- 53:20Speaker 2: in charge of anything, and then that's what he Why
- 53:22Speaker 2: do you let the kids make their decisions like they
- 53:24Speaker 2: get to make decisions, you're a child.
- 53:26Speaker 5: I'm surprised that you would not call the police after
- 53:30Speaker 5: an hour. I know you're like, something has to be
- 53:34Speaker 5: going on. There has to be a dead parent in there.
- 53:37Speaker 7: About forty five minutes where I thought maybe she's being harmed,
- 53:40Speaker 7: it was so and the audio doesn't even do it.
- 53:43Speaker 2: Justice is just like that. So this other clip is
- 53:45Speaker 2: that like the continuation of her that was ye breaking out.
- 53:48Speaker 7: Clip number two is fifteen minutes later. I didn't know
- 53:51Speaker 7: it would go for another hour and eleven minutes, but
- 53:54Speaker 7: this was fifteen minutes later.
- 54:01Speaker 14: And she's freaking out, not wanting to get out of bed,
- 54:04Speaker 14: wanting to get out of bed. Oh man, how old
- 54:06Speaker 14: was this kid?
- 54:06Speaker 2: Probably three lucky, Like, if you're a parent, you can't
- 54:12Speaker 2: keep little kids in bed. They're up before the crack
- 54:16Speaker 2: of dawn and all you want to do is sleep. Meanwhile,
- 54:18Speaker 2: these parents.
- 54:19Speaker 5: Maybe they had a rough night the night before.
- 54:23Speaker 2: What are we doing? Right?
- 54:24Speaker 7: So it's just about one hundred feet away.
- 54:31Speaker 5: Yeah, I would not deal with that. Even though I
- 54:34Speaker 5: found out what the situation was, I was still kind
- 54:37Speaker 5: of called the cops.
- 54:39Speaker 2: Are their windows open? Like, like, how is it that
- 54:41Speaker 2: loud from where you are?
- 54:42Speaker 7: Yeah? Well my front door was open, and I think
- 54:44Speaker 7: most people in that little corridor have their bedroom windows open. Okay,
- 54:49Speaker 7: So and I would almost guarantee their bedroom window was open, okay,
- 54:53Speaker 7: and not one apology, nothing, And then it culminates with
- 54:56Speaker 7: we'll wait until you're ready, honey. Do you want to
- 54:58Speaker 7: hold daddy's hand? Do you want to get ice cream?
- 55:02Speaker 7: Did you want to sit in the car?
- 55:04Speaker 5: I'm going full sea basketball?
- 55:05Speaker 2: The dad didn't ice cream? The dad off ice cream?
- 55:09Speaker 7: Oh yeah, is that what you want to do? You
- 55:11Speaker 7: want ice cream? Do you want to go meet with mommy?
- 55:13Speaker 7: Do you want to hold daddy's hand? Maybe you want
- 55:16Speaker 7: to go sit in the car. And then she's screaming
- 55:18Speaker 7: the whole time, and then he finally just said, Okay,
- 55:20Speaker 7: I'll just wait here until you're ready.
- 55:22Speaker 2: And it's a three year old.
- 55:23Speaker 6: This is a teachable moment for three year old who
- 55:25Speaker 6: just got taught that this works.
- 55:27Speaker 2: Well, kids that young, they're terrorists. Yes, they're really bad.
- 55:31Speaker 7: Straight to the fire station and say is it too late?
- 55:34Speaker 7: Fit in the box?
- 55:35Speaker 2: If it fits at chips we talked about it before.
- 55:38Speaker 2: If you can fit the kid into the little drop
- 55:40Speaker 2: off box at the fire station, I think it counts.
- 55:42Speaker 6: Yeah, I agree.
- 55:43Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, horrible parents.
- 55:48Speaker 6: Somebody takes in white toddler for sure, I'm hispanic. I'm
- 55:51Speaker 6: beating that kid if they cry, like.
- 55:52Speaker 7: Oh did I mean? It took almost an hour before
- 55:54Speaker 7: we even heard the voice of one of the parents.
- 55:56Speaker 6: That's insane.
- 55:57Speaker 2: Whatever happened to Like you want to I'll give you
- 55:59Speaker 2: something to cry about? Yeah, yeah time, that's what we
- 56:01Speaker 2: were told.
- 56:01Speaker 6: You have big feelings. I have bigger feelings.
- 56:04Speaker 2: Yeah you really want to cry, We'll give you something
- 56:05Speaker 2: to cry about. Yeah, eight seven seven forty four, Woodie
- 56:08Speaker 2: text us over to two to nine eight seven. We're
- 56:12Speaker 2: gonna take a quick break, and then after the break,
- 56:16Speaker 2: if you didn't think it got any more dramatic than
- 56:18Speaker 2: than that. We have somebody on the Woody Show hot seat.
- 56:22Speaker 2: Oh damn, somebody is on the Woody Show hot seat.
- 56:28Speaker 2: Who is it this time? What do they do? How
- 56:31Speaker 2: do they earn this spot on the hot seat? And
- 56:38Speaker 2: I'm gonna open this one up to let's see the
- 56:41Speaker 2: people in this room for sure. Morgan, you're a possibility,
- 56:48Speaker 2: dumb asked Tyler, You're a possibility. Yeah, and then uh,
- 56:54Speaker 2: and then Vaughn, you're a possibility. I'll open it up
- 56:59Speaker 2: to those people.
- 57:00Speaker 6: Because we shouldn't be the only ones to put the
- 57:02Speaker 6: anxiety right now.
- 57:03Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, Borton Menji spoiler alert, you're safe. Yeah, boy,
- 57:08Speaker 2: Borton Menji, they're safe. But wood You Show hot seat
- 57:11Speaker 2: coming up next the show? All right, Well, from time
- 57:16Speaker 2: to time, as happens with any group of people, friends, family,
- 57:20Speaker 2: co workers or whatever, it all just can't be peaceful bliss.
- 57:25Speaker 2: You know, every once in a while, there's a there's
- 57:28Speaker 2: a thing, there's a brush up, there's a flare up,
- 57:30Speaker 2: and somebody ends up on the Woody Show hot seat.
- 57:35Speaker 2: All right, who is on the hot seat this time? Right?
- 57:42Speaker 2: So it's everybody here in the room. Well, one person
- 57:46Speaker 2: who's not in the hot seat is is Jeff g
- 57:48Speaker 2: He's too new. So Jeff, you're not in the hot seat.
- 57:53Speaker 2: You're fine. Yeah, so it could be. Well, also, it's
- 58:01Speaker 2: not me because I already know. Uh, it's either gonna
- 58:04Speaker 2: be Gina God damn it, Greg Menace, very possibly Sammy,
- 58:11Speaker 2: probably Sea Bass. Morgan couldn't be Vaughan or dumbass Tyler.
- 58:20Speaker 6: That's possible.
- 58:20Speaker 2: Yes, uh, you know what, I'll get it out of
- 58:26Speaker 2: the way, Sea Bass. You are not on the hot seat.
- 58:29Speaker 2: Yeah you're not.
- 58:29Speaker 7: You're you're not.
- 58:33Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah, sorry.
- 58:34Speaker 7: There we go.
- 58:37Speaker 2: Who is on the Woody Woody Show, Woody Hoe? Who
- 58:42Speaker 2: is on the Woody Show hot seat?
- 58:46Speaker 5: Uh?
- 58:50Speaker 2: Greg Gory, you are not on the Woodie Show. Dumb
- 58:58Speaker 2: ass Tyler? We go it's umb asked Tyler. You know what,
- 59:01Speaker 2: we'll come back to Dumbasser. I'll come back to him,
- 59:05Speaker 2: as we'll also come back to Morgan. Yeah, hell yeah,
- 59:14Speaker 2: bro ol Joe, Sammy, Yes, what does it mean? Probably
- 59:23Speaker 2: it could be. It's certainly not Gina, though.
- 59:27Speaker 5: It's gonna crack my pants.
- 59:28Speaker 2: Don't think to do that. Uh Menace Menace yeah, uh
- 59:36Speaker 2: huh he.
- 59:37Speaker 6: Looks like he's about to get pluck. That would be easier.
- 59:40Speaker 2: Actually, mannis do you think that Tyler is on the
- 59:44Speaker 2: Woody Show hot seed? He could be, he could be,
- 59:48Speaker 2: he could be. Yeah, but Tyler, you are not on
- 59:53Speaker 2: the Woody Show Hot seat? Morgan.
- 59:57Speaker 6: Yes, let's get it on the way, ripped it bandaid off.
- 1:00:00Speaker 2: But I hate the segment, Morgan, you are.
- 1:00:06Speaker 6: Not You are not father girl.
- 1:00:10Speaker 2: Yeah, now I like the So now it's down between
- 1:00:16Speaker 2: Menace and of all people, Vaughn. Yeah, and he guesses
- 1:00:23Speaker 2: around the room. Who do you think it might be?
- 1:00:26Speaker 6: I couldn't be Von being too nice?
- 1:00:29Speaker 7: Yeah, I damn him.
- 1:00:30Speaker 2: Yeah, I guess, or say, Sammy's always a possibility. Still
- 1:00:38Speaker 2: she's still on the table. Yes, no, you know it's
- 1:00:43Speaker 2: it's not It is either Menace or Vaughan. It's got
- 1:00:50Speaker 2: to be yet Menace, Menace, you are not on the
- 1:00:58Speaker 2: wood Show. Vaughn, Come on down, v come on in.
- 1:01:08Speaker 5: What do you do this shock? Last time he didn't
- 1:01:14Speaker 5: call his mom?
- 1:01:14Speaker 6: Oh that was that was pretty crappy.
- 1:01:17Speaker 2: Yeah, Von, what you do?
- 1:01:20Speaker 7: All right?
- 1:01:21Speaker 2: Well I don't I don't personally have Von on the
- 1:01:25Speaker 2: hot seat. Vaughn is on the hot seat. Via somebody
- 1:01:28Speaker 2: else here on the show. Uh, and do you have
- 1:01:31Speaker 2: any idea what this might be about, Vaughan.
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: I'm pretty sure.
- 1:01:36Speaker 2: You're pretty sure at Sea Bass Well, it is Sea bass.
- 1:01:46Speaker 4: Well.
- 1:01:46Speaker 2: And this is the point where we have to let
- 1:01:47Speaker 2: Sea Bass have his have his moment. He's the one
- 1:01:50Speaker 2: who called the hot seat. So Sea Bass, why do
- 1:01:53Speaker 2: you call the hot seat?
- 1:01:54Speaker 8: I tried not to have this happen. I tried to
- 1:01:57Speaker 8: go through the proper channels. Okay, I try to correct
- 1:02:02Speaker 8: a what is admittedly a slight behavior, but one that
- 1:02:06Speaker 8: nobody in this room would tolerate if this happened around SA.
- 1:02:10Speaker 8: I went to or a new executive producer, Jeff G.
- 1:02:12Speaker 8: I said, Hey, that a little issue. Would you mind
- 1:02:15Speaker 8: taking care of it? Jeff G says, sure, no problem,
- 1:02:17Speaker 8: because you know, if you have a problem, certain problems,
- 1:02:21Speaker 8: you don't want to hear about it from somebody because
- 1:02:22Speaker 8: then you have animus towards them. But if you hear
- 1:02:24Speaker 8: about from a third party, okay, I'll correct it. In
- 1:02:27Speaker 8: this case, I believe I know why this happens. Let's say, Greg,
- 1:02:32Speaker 8: you're in here in the morning working on something, just
- 1:02:36Speaker 8: doing whatever type in you know, listen to the audio.
- 1:02:44Speaker 5: What is that?
- 1:02:45Speaker 8: That's somebody cramming and slapping their kN knuckles onto their desk,
- 1:02:51Speaker 8: like drumming on everything. But in a small, tight space
- 1:02:55Speaker 8: where people are doing things. It would drive you effing absolutely,
- 1:03:01Speaker 8: and if it happened with you, would drive anybody.
- 1:03:02Speaker 6: But I'm not, well, i am much more important to
- 1:03:05Speaker 6: the show than Vaughn.
- 1:03:06Speaker 5: I'm not.
- 1:03:07Speaker 2: I am not Vaughn's boss.
- 1:03:10Speaker 5: Proper. And again the nicer, more genteel way to do. Hey, Jeff,
- 1:03:16Speaker 5: g would you mind say something to Vonn real quick?
- 1:03:18Speaker 13: Now?
- 1:03:18Speaker 2: Jeff did you say something?
- 1:03:20Speaker 8: Did you?
- 1:03:20Speaker 2: Did you bring it up? I'm assuming you I did?
- 1:03:22Speaker 7: Right Van The day of that he sent me an email.
- 1:03:25Speaker 5: I Jeff said, no problem, easy, and so I said, great, okay,
- 1:03:28Speaker 5: should be settled. No, wait, Jeff, and what are you're
- 1:03:31Speaker 5: in there? It's just almost as much as Sea Bass.
- 1:03:34Speaker 5: Do you have you ever picked up? Like by the
- 1:03:37Speaker 5: time Vaughn gets in, I'm already here in the studio
- 1:03:41Speaker 5: after the show.
- 1:03:42Speaker 2: Is no because because then after the show Sea Bass
- 1:03:46Speaker 2: is gone, right, and it's it's usually just Vaughn working
- 1:03:50Speaker 2: on you know, he's editing.
- 1:03:51Speaker 5: This happened with what he in that room?
- 1:03:52Speaker 8: It would last about two seconds because would shut it
- 1:03:54Speaker 8: down instantly because.
- 1:03:55Speaker 2: I wouldn't go to Jeff g right, you.
- 1:03:59Speaker 5: Because you because you are in charge.
- 1:04:01Speaker 2: You're killing me with the drumming or whatever would be.
- 1:04:05Speaker 2: But I'm not the guy to say that like that
- 1:04:07Speaker 2: would be.
- 1:04:07Speaker 5: That's weird. It's not as a human just talking to him.
- 1:04:11Speaker 2: No, no, because because.
- 1:04:15Speaker 8: Since we had this problem before with Menace, he would
- 1:04:17Speaker 8: get in there and he would just open mouth, eat
- 1:04:20Speaker 8: chips and nuts. But Menace is on the air, he's
- 1:04:23Speaker 8: all he's on he's a.
- 1:04:24Speaker 5: Co host with us, he's important.
- 1:04:26Speaker 2: Right.
- 1:04:26Speaker 5: Uh, it's so we can.
- 1:04:27Speaker 8: Kind of bust his balls on the air about it.
- 1:04:29Speaker 8: But I wasn't gonna that's not on the air in there.
- 1:04:31Speaker 8: That's that's him being you know. Okay, So I've got
- 1:04:34Speaker 8: to got some audio just in case people don't believe me.
- 1:04:37Speaker 7: I do want to hear all right, all right, So
- 1:04:39Speaker 7: this is this is again.
- 1:04:39Speaker 5: If you imagine you're sitting from you to Menaces, away
- 1:04:42Speaker 5: from him, don't worry.
- 1:04:43Speaker 2: You're gonna have a chance to uh to respond. Okay,
- 1:04:45Speaker 2: all right, So this is this is just a classic.
- 1:04:47Speaker 2: Is the number one?
- 1:04:48Speaker 7: All right?
- 1:04:48Speaker 2: Number one? So I he'll put on a little.
- 1:04:55Speaker 5: Music, which is fine.
- 1:04:56Speaker 8: Music is well thankfully now at a lower volume sometimes
- 1:04:58Speaker 8: not always, he is bopping along to it and.
- 1:05:02Speaker 2: Crap, you know, cracking his knuckles along to it, which
- 1:05:04Speaker 2: is again okay, okay, this is the drummer you're talking.
- 1:05:07Speaker 6: He's really good at staying on deep.
- 1:05:10Speaker 4: Now.
- 1:05:10Speaker 8: Unfortunately, that's that's one thing, and that's play. Oh no,
- 1:05:15Speaker 8: this is we're talking about months and it gets hit
- 1:05:18Speaker 8: my drink out. It's not just that he's also doing
- 1:05:22Speaker 8: mouth noises. He's like scatting and beatboxing.
- 1:05:25Speaker 4: Uh.
- 1:05:26Speaker 8: And he's also doing something. This happens later in the
- 1:05:28Speaker 8: day and I think I know why where he's editing.
- 1:05:31Speaker 8: You'll hear you'll hear some out sound from the show,
- 1:05:33Speaker 8: and he's editing, goes back and forth with you, like
- 1:05:35Speaker 8: tap tap tap tap tap. Yeah, but he starts absolutely
- 1:05:38Speaker 8: slamming the keyboard keys.
- 1:05:41Speaker 7: Yeah, I'm already you know.
- 1:05:47Speaker 2: Editing video right, But again yeah, we've all, we've all
- 1:05:51Speaker 2: that is aggressive.
- 1:05:52Speaker 5: Yeah, exactly.
- 1:05:53Speaker 2: Well I'm saying about like I would think that you
- 1:05:55Speaker 2: end up like breaking that keyboard, you going frame my
- 1:05:58Speaker 2: frame or on that or something.
- 1:05:59Speaker 8: Sometimes Yeah, but again I do too, menosas we all do. Yeah,
- 1:06:03Speaker 8: here's a little bit, here's here's to sir mix a lot.
- 1:06:08Speaker 3: Fun.
- 1:06:14Speaker 5: So again I thought I did the right thing.
- 1:06:18Speaker 8: I said, hey, let's just get let's get the boss
- 1:06:19Speaker 8: in here to politely without causing a scene and causing
- 1:06:22Speaker 8: personal friction.
- 1:06:24Speaker 5: Squash this beef before there's even a beef.
- 1:06:26Speaker 8: But it kept going for days and days afterwards, which
- 1:06:28Speaker 8: is why I had to call this hot seed. Now,
- 1:06:32Speaker 8: by the way, I mentioned a few times, I think
- 1:06:33Speaker 8: I know this happens. I think he gets higher as
- 1:06:35Speaker 8: the show goes on.
- 1:06:36Speaker 6: Just d he do there like slamming and bopping and
- 1:06:39Speaker 6: the music because exactly, yeah, nobs, I don't see you
- 1:06:46Speaker 6: taking this route because you have to be sort of
- 1:06:48Speaker 6: self deprecating to do it. But if it were me,
- 1:06:50Speaker 6: I'd be like, because it's true, I'd be like, von,
- 1:06:53Speaker 6: I think there might be something wrong with me, but
- 1:06:56Speaker 6: I physically can't handle it, Like can you help me
- 1:06:58Speaker 6: with my neurow season stop or before.
- 1:07:01Speaker 5: That's a very kind way to go. It's a kind
- 1:07:04Speaker 5: way to go about things.
- 1:07:05Speaker 6: Like it might not bother other people and I might
- 1:07:07Speaker 6: have some sort of a branglige, but I it'ssital and
- 1:07:10Speaker 6: I love you.
- 1:07:11Speaker 2: Do you have what's it called like where you have
- 1:07:14Speaker 2: like a yeah, misfun Again you guys, you guys heard it.
- 1:07:17Speaker 5: None of you would put up with that.
- 1:07:21Speaker 7: Wouldn't take a disorder to be annoyed by.
- 1:07:22Speaker 2: No No, But it goes along with other things like
- 1:07:24Speaker 2: remember he used to stick his fingers in his ears
- 1:07:27Speaker 2: like a child with the belt like I'd like, I'm
- 1:07:31Speaker 2: wondering if sound there was like a weird Again, this
- 1:07:34Speaker 2: is not a disorder thing. But to your point, to
- 1:07:36Speaker 2: your question, I keep my headphones way lower than you
- 1:07:40Speaker 2: guys do because I don't want end up like Greg
- 1:07:41Speaker 2: and Menace have who have got here in Greg's case
- 1:07:45Speaker 2: to tentatus. But now this, this would drive any of
- 1:07:48Speaker 2: you up too.
- 1:07:49Speaker 5: And again it was I tried to address it through
- 1:07:50Speaker 5: the proper channel.
- 1:07:51Speaker 2: So those those are the complaints. The response from Vaughn, Yeah.
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: I would say number one, you have asked me months ago,
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: years ago, and I began doing this, became on the
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: show years ago, and I would have been nice. I
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: don't seem like I don't feel like I'm hard to
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: approach by no.
- 1:08:12Speaker 6: Tiptoe.
- 1:08:13Speaker 5: It wasn't years ago thing. This was maybe a couple
- 1:08:15Speaker 5: of months. No, it was because years ago you ex
- 1:08:17Speaker 5: what for me to turn music down and scared of
- 1:08:19Speaker 5: black people or.
- 1:08:20Speaker 8: I think I don't want I don't want to be again.
- 1:08:23Speaker 8: I don't want to be like the again. It's the
- 1:08:25Speaker 8: thing where I don't want to be like, oh there's
- 1:08:26Speaker 8: a problem. Oh this guy's got an issue with me.
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: If we're all working in a coworking area and you
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: have an issue with something I'm doing, just ask hey,
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: can you turn this down a.
- 1:08:36Speaker 5: Little bit again? I'm coming to you three four times
- 1:08:38Speaker 5: about that kind of stuff.
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: You have zero times because you had one time. I
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: would have probably changed a bit.
- 1:08:43Speaker 2: But zero time.
- 1:08:44Speaker 5: But so why didn't you listen to Jeff G? Y
- 1:08:46Speaker 5: oh no, oh no, So when Jeff G said, hey man,
- 1:08:49Speaker 5: we got you mind, music.
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: Has gone down since he.
- 1:08:52Speaker 5: Didn't, he didn't mention the knocking on the table to
- 1:08:54Speaker 5: my re collection though.
- 1:08:54Speaker 2: Honestly, Jeff G, this is true.
- 1:08:56Speaker 12: Yeah, you remember saying call about the drumming part. I
- 1:08:59Speaker 12: just said, like, hey man, there's a lot of stuff
- 1:09:01Speaker 12: going on. He's like replaying stuff while he's listening to
- 1:09:03Speaker 12: the show live, and I go, that's bothering Sea Bass.
- 1:09:05Speaker 12: I go, it's a you know, shared space, so you know,
- 1:09:08Speaker 12: just be conscious of that and be cool.
- 1:09:10Speaker 2: And so maybe it's like maybe I should drop the
- 1:09:12Speaker 2: noise in general, specifically like some music, specifically desk drumming
- 1:09:17Speaker 2: right now.
- 1:09:18Speaker 5: I mean we call if I mentioned the drumming, probably
- 1:09:20Speaker 5: not I.
- 1:09:21Speaker 8: I'll give him a half I'll give him half point
- 1:09:24Speaker 8: credit on that. But we would think just general awareness
- 1:09:28Speaker 8: of the people around you. If you understand that noise
- 1:09:30Speaker 8: is an issue in a tight space, that would be
- 1:09:34Speaker 8: not something you would contain.
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: If it's been months to your own saying why I'm
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: not settling in months, I kind.
- 1:09:41Speaker 5: Of hoped it would go away.
- 1:09:42Speaker 7: I didn't.
- 1:09:43Speaker 5: I didn't want to be I didn't want to make
- 1:09:44Speaker 5: you mad at me. Quite frank, I didn't want you to.
- 1:09:48Speaker 7: I didn't want to.
- 1:09:50Speaker 2: I might be honest something, you know, I personally think that.
- 1:09:54Speaker 6: Tell me if you agree that going through somebody else
- 1:09:57Speaker 6: is more insulting than be like, oh my god, you stop.
- 1:10:00Speaker 2: Absolutely.
- 1:10:01Speaker 8: The analogy is in an office environment, let's say somebody,
- 1:10:04Speaker 8: let's say menace, or let's say.
- 1:10:06Speaker 5: God for Big Greg showed up and he just had
- 1:10:07Speaker 5: bad bo every day, you.
- 1:10:09Speaker 8: Wouldn't you wouldn't want the person next to you, who
- 1:10:11Speaker 8: you had maybe your cordial with, like, hey, man, you
- 1:10:15Speaker 8: really smell.
- 1:10:15Speaker 5: Oh I did that to Tyler.
- 1:10:18Speaker 8: Yeah, he Tyler is. Again it's a difference between on
- 1:10:23Speaker 8: Tyler's your boy. You know, he smells wonderful, you know,
- 1:10:26Speaker 8: and we can rag on our boys more than we
- 1:10:27Speaker 8: can rag on any co worker.
- 1:10:29Speaker 2: So you're right, I would be it would be really annoying.
- 1:10:32Speaker 2: It would be, and I definitely would.
- 1:10:34Speaker 5: Say something nicer if a manager, OK, hey, would you
- 1:10:36Speaker 5: mind we should just let you know.
- 1:10:39Speaker 7: This.
- 1:10:39Speaker 2: I think told that.
- 1:10:41Speaker 7: I think if it was the tenth time of you
- 1:10:44Speaker 7: telling Vaughan directly and that went nowhere, then go to correct.
- 1:10:48Speaker 7: I don't get going correct right out of the gate. Well,
- 1:10:51Speaker 7: and I think I have that part figured out.
- 1:10:52Speaker 2: It just hit me. Here's the guy who loves calling
- 1:10:55Speaker 2: the cops, right, Like, he'll call, he'll call the cops.
- 1:10:58Speaker 2: He'll go down to the management office here at the building,
- 1:11:01Speaker 2: bigness and stuff. He'll send, he'll send, he'll send the
- 1:11:05Speaker 2: emails to h R about like somebody who's doing whether
- 1:11:09Speaker 2: they brought their dog in or whatever else it would
- 1:11:11Speaker 2: be that's happening in the office. Like he won't go
- 1:11:14Speaker 2: to them personally. So that's what I'm saying. So it
- 1:11:17Speaker 2: tracks for sea bats in the way that which.
- 1:11:19Speaker 8: Is again approaches how we are told to handle things
- 1:11:22Speaker 8: is to you don't know, just talk to me about again.
- 1:11:29Speaker 5: That's the point.
- 1:11:29Speaker 8: That's the point is I'm trying to keep things with
- 1:11:31Speaker 8: cart narks. I don't care if that person hates me.
- 1:11:33Speaker 8: I care I fun hates men.
- 1:11:34Speaker 2: I don't want him to oh, bab you know what?
- 1:11:37Speaker 5: Half point for them? Okay, I tried to.
- 1:11:40Speaker 8: I thought this would less than the blow by having
- 1:11:42Speaker 8: someone who's like, hey man, you know, like whatever, you know,
- 1:11:44Speaker 8: Hey Sammy, could you stop bringing your stupid Stanley in everywhere?
- 1:11:49Speaker 6: Would say absolutely not, I need to hydrate.
- 1:11:54Speaker 8: And then that's I'm not doing this because I because
- 1:11:56Speaker 8: it's quite the opposite. I don't I don't want to
- 1:11:58Speaker 8: have a problem.
- 1:11:59Speaker 5: So what's the resolution. Let's lets let's let's talk resolution.
- 1:12:02Speaker 2: Are you are you hearing? Are you hearing his complain
- 1:12:05Speaker 2: what he's saying that? Do you can you see where
- 1:12:07Speaker 2: that's like maybe annoying or is there a way to
- 1:12:11Speaker 2: I don't know either headphones or I mean, the tapping
- 1:12:14Speaker 2: is one thing, but well I don't know, like what
- 1:12:17Speaker 2: what what do you think?
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: Yeah, for sure, hear you on the tapping, and I
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: will do my best to lessen that as music is
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: playing things like that and music music volume will be
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: lower as it has been for the past few weeks.
- 1:12:29Speaker 8: I will say the music is way less a problem
- 1:12:31Speaker 8: than than the pounding at the desk. That's just well,
- 1:12:33Speaker 8: that wasn't that wasn't brought up specifically.
- 1:12:36Speaker 6: Realize you're doing it because that seems like something that's
- 1:12:39Speaker 6: so unconscious, probably.
- 1:12:40Speaker 1: Mostly unconscious, but I mean to a point I know
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: I'm doing.
- 1:12:43Speaker 5: Which goes back to the marijuana. Do be high?
- 1:12:47Speaker 2: Yeah, it goes back to the grass. I think that happens.
- 1:12:51Speaker 2: He's smoking dope.
- 1:12:52Speaker 5: You guys are missing the main overarching point here. Marijuanajana
- 1:12:56Speaker 5: is just an intervention. Yeah, I guess will Bobby smoke?
- 1:13:00Speaker 2: Well, we'll see how it goes. I think sea baths.
- 1:13:03Speaker 2: I think anybody works on the show, like you could
- 1:13:05Speaker 2: just be direct with them. We all expect whatever from you,
- 1:13:08Speaker 2: Like nothing's going to come across as like yeah, like
- 1:13:11Speaker 2: if you're worried about it, like being like, uh, you
- 1:13:14Speaker 2: know you said it's not as nice, but since when
- 1:13:15Speaker 2: are you worried about being nice.
- 1:13:17Speaker 8: It's it's the person against the relationship. If this were menace,
- 1:13:19Speaker 8: I would have I would have would I would have
- 1:13:21Speaker 8: sent us to Medica started bang next to him.
- 1:13:23Speaker 5: That's not wrong. If it's somebody that I don't have
- 1:13:25Speaker 5: like a personal relationship with in the office, I'm not
- 1:13:27Speaker 5: going to talk to him directly.
- 1:13:28Speaker 2: You guys have been sitting get back to back, three
- 1:13:30Speaker 2: feet from each other for I don't know how it
- 1:13:33Speaker 2: gonna be.
- 1:13:34Speaker 5: My other point, I feel like you guys are on
- 1:13:36Speaker 5: that kind of level where you could say.
- 1:13:37Speaker 8: Again, the thing's very nice with Vaughn's but when we're there,
- 1:13:41Speaker 8: we're both doing our own work.
- 1:13:42Speaker 5: It's not like we're like, oh, so, I would you
- 1:13:43Speaker 5: do this week? You can?
- 1:13:46Speaker 7: We all agree that if I ever smell like bo, you'll.
- 1:13:48Speaker 11: Let me know.
- 1:13:49Speaker 2: Y five six very good drumming, Vaughn.
- 1:13:52Speaker 5: Thank you.
- 1:13:52Speaker 2: Yeah, they thought he's kind of great.
- 1:13:54Speaker 6: If you get nothing else out of a more show
- 1:13:57Speaker 6: is next.
- 1:13:57Speaker 2: Time, Oh my god, taste like cold grief, A woody
- 1:14:05Speaker 2: show back in a few it's what's up with what's
- 1:14:10Speaker 2: going down in so call sports?
- 1:14:14Speaker 7: Jeff G.
- 1:14:17Speaker 2: Office cop Jeff G. What's uh?
- 1:14:20Speaker 7: What's that?
- 1:14:21Speaker 5: If he goes to the cops. That makes me the cops.
- 1:14:26Speaker 12: Bad Damn, there goes the hood crid. All right, well
- 1:14:29Speaker 12: let's go and start with the World Cup. After a
- 1:14:31Speaker 12: month of games, that's a rap. And it all ended
- 1:14:33Speaker 12: with this goal for st chance.
- 1:14:34Speaker 2: To cross hooks it and Williams badly knocks it down.
- 1:14:37Speaker 6: It's fright, it's a goal.
- 1:14:40Speaker 2: It's fatorus.
- 1:14:42Speaker 12: That was the first goal of the match and it
- 1:14:44Speaker 12: didn't happen till the hundred and six minutes of extra time.
- 1:14:46Speaker 12: Space took a ton of shots, but that was the
- 1:14:48Speaker 12: only one that made it through and it was a
- 1:14:50Speaker 12: long time until they scored. They were the better team yesterday,
- 1:14:53Speaker 12: by the way, that they deserve to win. After the game,
- 1:14:56Speaker 12: fight between players, which is pretty cool. U Argentina fans
- 1:15:00Speaker 12: threw bottles and rocks at cops in Argentina. I guess
- 1:15:02Speaker 12: they were mad that they lost. A big question for
- 1:15:04Speaker 12: all the soccer fans though, is this truly the last
- 1:15:06Speaker 12: dance for Messi and Ronaldo. We'll have to wait and
- 1:15:09Speaker 12: see other soccer scores from the weekend. My Galaxy got
- 1:15:12Speaker 12: cooked by LAFC three to nothing. I was wearing my
- 1:15:14Speaker 12: Galaxy jersey out at the FIFA FanFest, all kinds of
- 1:15:17Speaker 12: clowning going on. Man, I was like, that's all right,
- 1:15:19Speaker 12: we got more championships.
- 1:15:20Speaker 7: Relax.
- 1:15:22Speaker 12: Moving on to baseball, Dodgers took two out of three
- 1:15:24Speaker 12: from the Yankees in New York. By the way, a
- 1:15:26Speaker 12: shout out to Yoshinobu Yamamoto. Complete game gem yesterday. Dodgers
- 1:15:29Speaker 12: in Philly today at four Speaking of the.
- 1:15:31Speaker 5: Dodgers, whin your way in to The Woody Show.
- 1:15:34Speaker 12: Dodgers Sweet Thursday and Friday seven at eight am both days.
- 1:15:37Speaker 12: Moving on to the Angels, they lost two out of
- 1:15:39Speaker 12: three to the Tigers over the weekend. Halo's welcome the
- 1:15:42Speaker 12: Cardinals to the Big Eight tonight at seven. And finally,
- 1:15:45Speaker 12: the WNBA Sparks lost to the Wings. Hanby had sixteen
- 1:15:48Speaker 12: points in the loss.
- 1:15:49Speaker 5: And that's your sports right here on The Woody Show.
- 1:15:52Speaker 7: Jeff ju.
- 1:15:57Speaker 13: The Woody Show.
- 1:16:00Speaker 2: Feedback from the wood You Show Hot Seat segment hopefully
- 1:16:04Speaker 2: all positive towards me. A lot of people. It's mixed.
- 1:16:07Speaker 7: It's mixed.
- 1:16:09Speaker 2: Yeah. So Sea Bass put Vaughan, our video producer, on
- 1:16:13Speaker 2: the hot seat because you know, Seeds spends a lot
- 1:16:15Speaker 2: of time in the office where Vond's got all the
- 1:16:17Speaker 2: camera stuff going on, he's editing video and he's doing
- 1:16:19Speaker 2: his thing, and then during commercial breaks and stuff, I
- 1:16:22Speaker 2: guess he's rocking out to you know, a bunch of
- 1:16:24Speaker 2: different music and playing it too loud, and then you know,
- 1:16:28Speaker 2: hand drumming with his knuckles on the counter, driving sea bass, but.
- 1:16:31Speaker 5: Not to get to he also does beat pocketing, which
- 1:16:35Speaker 5: I think I haven't caught on audio yet, but.
- 1:16:37Speaker 2: Yeah, that's really good.
- 1:16:38Speaker 5: That's really good. This in corporate couple and compasses that
- 1:16:41Speaker 5: as well.
- 1:16:42Speaker 2: Okay, all right, So he goes to uh Jeff g
- 1:16:45Speaker 2: asked Jeff like, hey, can you please mention the Vaughan,
- 1:16:47Speaker 2: you know, keep down the office shared works based whatever.
- 1:16:50Speaker 4: Uh.
- 1:16:51Speaker 2: He did, But then you know, the the the music
- 1:16:54Speaker 2: volume went down, but he was still doing the knuckle
- 1:16:57Speaker 2: drumming and stuff anyway, So put him on the hot seat.
- 1:16:59Speaker 2: I think, think, well, we'll see how it goes from here.
- 1:17:02Speaker 2: Vonn was open to it, but wishes that Sea Bess
- 1:17:04Speaker 2: would have come to him directly, which I do understand.
- 1:17:07Speaker 2: I would rather somebody come to me directly than quote
- 1:17:11Speaker 2: narking me out to somebody else to have them do
- 1:17:14Speaker 2: it like well, Where's where is this person? Why? This
- 1:17:18Speaker 2: one says Sea Bass is acting like mister Hand from
- 1:17:21Speaker 2: Fast Times at Ridgemont High where he thinks everyone's on dope. Yeah,
- 1:17:26Speaker 2: because he did say about Vaughn, saying like, well, you know,
- 1:17:28Speaker 2: keep in mind, you know, Vaughn's probably getting higher and
- 1:17:31Speaker 2: higher as the morning or as the show goes on.
- 1:17:34Speaker 8: And by the way, he admitted to that, So I
- 1:17:36Speaker 8: think I'm correct. But yeah, look, I'm not saying it's
- 1:17:38Speaker 8: not a fair assumption.
- 1:17:40Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:17:41Speaker 2: This one says, I agree with Sea Bass on this one.
- 1:17:43Speaker 2: It's better to go through the proper channels, especially when
- 1:17:45Speaker 2: inter office conversations are your are when interoffice conversations are
- 1:17:49Speaker 2: your strong suit, I guess said, are not your strong friend.
- 1:17:52Speaker 2: I get what they're saying, Yeah, yeah, because they always
- 1:17:56Speaker 2: say that, like, well, when did this conversation happened? Was
- 1:17:58Speaker 2: it just between you and the other? Was there was
- 1:18:01Speaker 2: there not a quote R or yeah? Was there somebody
- 1:18:04Speaker 2: else like not you know, in the in the conversation?
- 1:18:08Speaker 12: And that was kind of my fear when I saw
- 1:18:09Speaker 12: the email. I know SeaBASS keeps receipts, like I know that,
- 1:18:13Speaker 12: and I haven't been on the show that long. But
- 1:18:15Speaker 12: one thing, I know, you have a reputation for receipts.
- 1:18:17Speaker 12: So I was like, you know, I'll make sure I
- 1:18:19Speaker 12: handle this right away and appropriately. And you know, again,
- 1:18:22Speaker 12: Vaughn was a very good listener both times I approached him.
- 1:18:24Speaker 12: He did not like deny it.
- 1:18:25Speaker 5: Or due both times I approached him.
- 1:18:30Speaker 12: Yeah, I talked to him twice, okay, because remember remember
- 1:18:33Speaker 12: you said, hey, it's still going on. I said, okay,
- 1:18:35Speaker 12: let me just talk to him again. And it was
- 1:18:36Speaker 12: like the end of last week or whatever, and Vron
- 1:18:38Speaker 12: has been very very cool.
- 1:18:40Speaker 5: About it, like, which is why I didn't want to
- 1:18:41Speaker 5: make com mad.
- 1:18:42Speaker 2: This one says, super annoying chances, super annoying, Team Sea Bass,
- 1:18:46Speaker 2: no doubt. This one said, Man, this second is making
- 1:18:48Speaker 2: me sweat already. Justice for Vaughn.
- 1:18:52Speaker 7: I think my main follow up question is actually for
- 1:18:56Speaker 7: Jeff because if the issue at hand was how an
- 1:19:01Speaker 7: this is, and then you talk to Vaughan and you
- 1:19:04Speaker 7: specifically didn't mention that I don't recall.
- 1:19:07Speaker 12: I mean I don't remember our first conversation, to be honest,
- 1:19:09Speaker 12: Like I think I was moving and stuff like that,
- 1:19:11Speaker 12: so I mean, I don't know exactly what I mentioned.
- 1:19:14Speaker 12: I will say that I did mention the music and
- 1:19:17Speaker 12: the rewinding and stuff like that, but I can't say
- 1:19:19Speaker 12: for certain that.
- 1:19:19Speaker 7: I mentioned that.
- 1:19:20Speaker 2: I don't think it's just more.
- 1:19:24Speaker 5: Kind. It was like an encompassing thing, like hey shared
- 1:19:27Speaker 5: off his space.
- 1:19:28Speaker 7: Man, he's sensitive to the sounds.
- 1:19:29Speaker 8: So and I don't want to crap on Jeff g
- 1:19:31Speaker 8: because he is doing his job here. But I did
- 1:19:32Speaker 8: send him an audio clip with my first email.
- 1:19:37Speaker 5: This one says.
- 1:19:40Speaker 2: Sea Mass is being a ball baby. Actually Vaughan was
- 1:19:45Speaker 2: fing with Sea Bass on purpose.
- 1:19:47Speaker 7: No, don't.
- 1:19:48Speaker 2: I don't think it was on purpose unconscious. Sea Bass
- 1:19:50Speaker 2: better not ever go to jail. He's not gonna have
- 1:19:52Speaker 2: a good time there. Love is narking.
- 1:19:54Speaker 5: I'll just fin everybody.
- 1:19:55Speaker 2: I'll win. Sea Bass is just being a bitch. He
- 1:19:58Speaker 2: thinks he's perfect.
- 1:19:59Speaker 5: That's that's bad arguing right.
- 1:20:01Speaker 2: There, dude. I thought, dude, I was on board with
- 1:20:04Speaker 2: Sea Bass until he said, quote, I'm more important than
- 1:20:06Speaker 2: Vaughn to the show, not in life.
- 1:20:09Speaker 12: I don't want to make things worse Sea Bass, but
- 1:20:11Speaker 12: I've had to take a couple of meetings in there.
- 1:20:13Speaker 12: Why Vaughn is working after the show, And I've heard
- 1:20:16Speaker 12: you know, I've heard, you know, his music and all
- 1:20:17Speaker 12: that stuff. Man, When I said I'm getting on a
- 1:20:19Speaker 12: meeting meeting, he turned everything down and walked out of
- 1:20:21Speaker 12: the office out of respect.
- 1:20:23Speaker 8: Oh yeah, that's I get that. That that's I'm not
- 1:20:26Speaker 8: saying Vaughn's a bad cowork. I'm just saying he gets
- 1:20:28Speaker 8: high and starts bottle along to his music. What I'm
- 1:20:31Speaker 8: hearing is that you hate Vaughn. Yeah, that's coming, which
- 1:20:34Speaker 8: is what you want it right?
- 1:20:35Speaker 2: Like and clear?
- 1:20:36Speaker 7: Yeah, all right?
- 1:20:37Speaker 2: Eight seven four wood. He sent us a text over
- 1:20:39Speaker 2: to two two nine eight seven you got the cocaine.
- 1:20:48Speaker 2: Everybody was going soccer crazy.
- 1:20:51Speaker 5: Oh yeah.
- 1:20:52Speaker 2: Over the last month, I saw a lot of memes,
- 1:20:55Speaker 2: pretty funny, a lot of memes on social media, like
- 1:20:58Speaker 2: pictures of like grapestone well years where my interest in
- 1:21:01Speaker 2: soccer dies until the World Cup comes back around against
- 1:21:03Speaker 2: kind of like the Olympics where everybody's into Oh I
- 1:21:07Speaker 2: really love Bob Sled, you know, but like you watch
- 1:21:10Speaker 2: it once every four years. Yeah. So you have the
- 1:21:13Speaker 2: casual fans, then you have the really hardcore soccer fans,
- 1:21:15Speaker 2: like like Jeff g Here, I mean you watch soccer
- 1:21:19Speaker 2: all the time. Yeah, I love it. Yeah, So he
- 1:21:21Speaker 2: went out to for the World Cup final. He went
- 1:21:24Speaker 2: out to like a big viewing event.
- 1:21:26Speaker 12: Yeah, it was called the FIFA fan Fest for the
- 1:21:29Speaker 12: final match of the World Cup. In terms of people,
- 1:21:31Speaker 12: great food, good vibes, a lot of drinks and stuff.
- 1:21:34Speaker 12: And I ran into this dude named Chewie. We're gonna
- 1:21:37Speaker 12: meet Chewie right now in a second. But the funny
- 1:21:39Speaker 12: part is is I asked him where he was from,
- 1:21:41Speaker 12: and man, did he get nervous.
- 1:21:43Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:21:44Speaker 7: Yeah, listen to this. We're at FIFA fan Fast.
- 1:21:46Speaker 5: What's your name, bro, Chewy Chewey.
- 1:21:49Speaker 7: Where are you from? I'm from like from the US,
- 1:21:52Speaker 7: from the US. Don't worry about it.
- 1:21:55Speaker 13: I'm not.
- 1:21:58Speaker 7: So who are you here to watch today?
- 1:21:59Speaker 5: Man, it's Vain Argentina. Who MESSI?
- 1:22:01Speaker 7: What do you say to MESSI haters?
- 1:22:04Speaker 2: They don't know ball. They just don't know ball.
- 1:22:06Speaker 5: They their TikTok, their their TikTok influencing.
- 1:22:09Speaker 2: Yeah, I see I see that a lot in the comments,
- 1:22:11Speaker 2: like that that phrase, like he like he knows ball,
- 1:22:14Speaker 2: he don't know ball. Yeah, that's a that's the thing
- 1:22:17Speaker 2: when you're when there's somebody you think somebody has a
- 1:22:19Speaker 2: garbage take on sports like you don't know.
- 1:22:22Speaker 5: Okay, he's a cash Forget all the haters.
- 1:22:24Speaker 12: Is it true that Argentina just had the easiest layup
- 1:22:27Speaker 12: to get to I mean, people are saying that, but
- 1:22:29Speaker 12: they did the work to get it done too. Plenty
- 1:22:31Speaker 12: of other teams had easy pass as well that didn't
- 1:22:33Speaker 12: get the work done, So you gotta give them credit.
- 1:22:34Speaker 2: Where credits do now?
- 1:22:35Speaker 5: They craped the bed yesterday, but you know they did
- 1:22:38Speaker 5: well to get there.
- 1:22:39Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, all right.
- 1:22:40Speaker 5: So Chewie obviously am of the US.
- 1:22:44Speaker 7: He is here legally.
- 1:22:45Speaker 5: Chewy obviously a mega soccer fan.
- 1:22:47Speaker 12: So I showed him a picture of Sea Bass and
- 1:22:49Speaker 12: I told him about Sea Bass's hate for the game
- 1:22:52Speaker 12: of soccer.
- 1:22:52Speaker 5: Was a picture necessary. I work with this guy, that's
- 1:22:57Speaker 5: what he says.
- 1:22:58Speaker 7: He works on our show.
- 1:23:00Speaker 5: Yeah, he said soccer is a pussy sport.
- 1:23:03Speaker 7: What do you say to him?
- 1:23:05Speaker 5: I don't. I don't agree, just because of the fact
- 1:23:07Speaker 5: that soccer can get physical. Has he ever played soccer?
- 1:23:10Speaker 12: No, he's not athletic at all, So why does his
- 1:23:13Speaker 12: opinion matter?
- 1:23:14Speaker 7: He never tells the soccer ball.
- 1:23:15Speaker 5: Why does his opinion matter?
- 1:23:16Speaker 7: He sets a lot of other balls, just not soccer.
- 1:23:18Speaker 2: Oh damn, sorry, would you like to cry no, Jeff's
- 1:23:24Speaker 2: new Would you like to correct uh, Jeff and his
- 1:23:26Speaker 2: claim that you are not athletic at all?
- 1:23:28Speaker 8: Well, I mean we can give some of your resume. Yeah,
- 1:23:31Speaker 8: I played college rugby. That's not you know, I played
- 1:23:33Speaker 8: a real sport with that where where not not not
- 1:23:35Speaker 8: just contact might happen, it is intentionally happens, and happens
- 1:23:39Speaker 8: all the time at high speeds. So I mean that's
- 1:23:41Speaker 8: that's neither here nor there's also.
- 1:23:42Speaker 2: A very fast runner. He can't even use a standard treadmill.
- 1:23:46Speaker 6: He can do a cartwheel.
- 1:23:47Speaker 2: That's true as well.
- 1:23:49Speaker 7: Sure it's barely go over his muscles.
- 1:23:50Speaker 5: Yeah, so I retract my statement.
- 1:23:53Speaker 7: Then you are very athletic.
- 1:23:55Speaker 5: But this is the classic.
- 1:23:59Speaker 8: It's a policy though that we talk about a lot Woodie,
- 1:24:01Speaker 8: where like wood he can't have an opinion on how
- 1:24:04Speaker 8: bad an NFL coaches because he's never coached the NFL.
- 1:24:07Speaker 2: Yeah, or like when I go, man, I don't know,
- 1:24:08Speaker 2: Like gymnastics seems boring to me. It's because you can't
- 1:24:11Speaker 2: do it. No, no, no, no, no, admittedly I could
- 1:24:14Speaker 2: not do that right, yes, but like nobody's arguing that baseball.
- 1:24:17Speaker 7: I don't like watching baseball. Yeah, I couldn't hit one
- 1:24:20Speaker 7: if you offered me all the money in the world.
- 1:24:22Speaker 8: This this, this, this World Cup go around with. I
- 1:24:24Speaker 8: saw the best term for soccer players that I've ever seen,
- 1:24:27Speaker 8: and that was lawn fairies. Seven guys running around and
- 1:24:33Speaker 8: anytime anybody greezes by one of them, they fall down
- 1:24:35Speaker 8: and grabbed their ankles and then that's happens.
- 1:24:38Speaker 2: It's a term lawn terry. It's pretty funny, so cute.
- 1:24:45Speaker 7: Alright, So.
- 1:24:48Speaker 12: So you guys remember also when Seabas said the only
- 1:24:51Speaker 12: reason soccer is the most popular sport in the world
- 1:24:54Speaker 12: is because quote poor people can.
- 1:24:55Speaker 5: Play it, because it's the poorest sport in the world. Yes,
- 1:24:58Speaker 5: So here's Chewy's reaction to that state. He also sick because.
- 1:25:01Speaker 12: I I told him that soccer is almost popular sport
- 1:25:03Speaker 12: in the world, and I said it gets better numbers
- 1:25:04Speaker 12: than the super Bowl times one hundred, right, And he said,
- 1:25:07Speaker 12: the only reason that's the case is because poor people
- 1:25:09Speaker 12: can play soccer.
- 1:25:10Speaker 7: What do you say about that?
- 1:25:12Speaker 12: Is this guy, this guy saying something like that, I mean,
- 1:25:15Speaker 12: look at him, describe him.
- 1:25:17Speaker 1: I'm not gonna lie.
- 1:25:18Speaker 5: He kind of he kind of he kind of looks
- 1:25:19Speaker 5: like a pedophiles.
- 1:25:21Speaker 2: Is that you were finally gonna sit on the citizens
- 1:25:22Speaker 2: up the photo which just pop up specifically, Wow.
- 1:25:27Speaker 5: I wust have picked a really bad photo of my
- 1:25:28Speaker 5: apologist for that best. Yeah he's not totally wrong, but.
- 1:25:34Speaker 8: That generic so oft But yeah, that's the kind of
- 1:25:36Speaker 8: stuff you have speaking of jail, you say that kind
- 1:25:38Speaker 8: of stuff in jail. That that that's you don't even
- 1:25:41Speaker 8: you know this, Jeff guh if you even suggest that
- 1:25:43Speaker 8: someone is pediaphile.
- 1:25:47Speaker 5: Yeah, that that's that. That's a fight right there. That's yeah,
- 1:25:50Speaker 5: even even to even to and that sounds like sounds
- 1:25:53Speaker 5: like this guy might know that too. It's on site.
- 1:25:55Speaker 6: Yeah he does know about the citizens app yea.
- 1:26:00Speaker 8: Of the United States on the citizens right again, But
- 1:26:03Speaker 8: again he didn't he didn't rebut my great point that
- 1:26:06Speaker 8: I made.
- 1:26:06Speaker 5: He just said, hey, let's fight.
- 1:26:10Speaker 7: Again.
- 1:26:11Speaker 5: Argument goes to sea.
- 1:26:12Speaker 12: All right, So more from Chewi from the United States.
- 1:26:15Speaker 12: Now it's Gina's term. So if you if you recall
- 1:26:18Speaker 12: Gina said, uh, she puts on soccer when she wants
- 1:26:20Speaker 12: to quote fall asleep because that's so boring. So I
- 1:26:23Speaker 12: showed Chewy genis picture, and we talked about that.
- 1:26:26Speaker 5: This is one of our co hosts, Ginas.
- 1:26:28Speaker 12: She says that when she wants to fall asleep, she
- 1:26:31Speaker 12: turns on soccer because it's so boring.
- 1:26:33Speaker 5: I do read, you know, her life is boring. She's
- 1:26:35Speaker 5: probably ay. She probably thinks that seasoning is salt right
- 1:26:38Speaker 5: if she dude, she thinks he's boring. She has no
- 1:26:40Speaker 5: flavor in her life. She needs some chili bro huh,
- 1:26:43Speaker 5: not not some Chevy that chili.
- 1:26:46Speaker 7: She she's that Mexican, the Mexican sauce.
- 1:26:50Speaker 6: I'm just saying, I mean maybe.
- 1:26:52Speaker 5: And by Chile, he means Penis. Yeah, she got something
- 1:26:55Speaker 5: short and.
- 1:26:58Speaker 2: He's got it for you. And we also asked Chewi
- 1:27:02Speaker 2: what time it was the last time.
- 1:27:03Speaker 7: I checked my watch.
- 1:27:04Speaker 2: It's still shaid America.
- 1:27:07Speaker 5: Because he's chewing of the US.
- 1:27:09Speaker 8: Yeah, well he's got these like generic insults. I have
- 1:27:12Speaker 8: nothing to do with the point like they were making
- 1:27:14Speaker 8: by like Gray also called soccer boring.
- 1:27:16Speaker 7: It's pretty boring. I got into the third place game though,
- 1:27:19Speaker 7: That's when I joined the world stuff.
- 1:27:21Speaker 2: That's what I understand the least, like like third place,
- 1:27:25Speaker 2: like who cares? No one does that either win on
- 1:27:27Speaker 2: you don't win. I got with Tim Martinez too. He's like,
- 1:27:30Speaker 2: oh no, because like to see who the third winner,
- 1:27:32Speaker 2: like the third winner winner. It's like it's like saying, oh,
- 1:27:35Speaker 2: well you were six sixth winner, Like.
- 1:27:38Speaker 5: Yeah, it's a shame game. Yeah, it's in the Olympics.
- 1:27:41Speaker 8: It's different because like if you're in a race, there's first, second, third,
- 1:27:43Speaker 8: you have to play another race to get to that point.
- 1:27:45Speaker 12: Well, it also determines the Golden Boot winner, which is
- 1:27:47Speaker 12: the most goals for the World Cup. But also there's
- 1:27:50Speaker 12: other awards that they give out besides like you know,
- 1:27:52Speaker 12: first and second place and stuff.
- 1:27:55Speaker 2: Lawn fairy, law fair and what golden what the gold
- 1:27:59Speaker 2: it's the Golden Boots. Yeah that's from on babe.
- 1:28:01Speaker 5: That's like saying, whoever, that's like it in the alley
- 1:28:06Speaker 5: behind the gay bar, who finished the most gentleman? Like okay,
- 1:28:10Speaker 5: I know that.
- 1:28:13Speaker 2: I like to do that here surrender.
- 1:28:18Speaker 5: Yeah. Anyways, had a great time out there yesterday. Thank
- 1:28:20Speaker 5: you guys.
- 1:28:22Speaker 7: On the scene with the Chewie of the US chew guys,
- 1:28:25Speaker 7: do you ever say something out loud and you realize,
- 1:28:28Speaker 7: oh my god, I am so stupid.
- 1:28:32Speaker 2: This is the Woody Show all the time, Greg, all
- 1:28:37Speaker 2: the time.
- 1:28:38Speaker 7: I'm not alone.
- 1:28:39Speaker 2: No, I disappoint myself more than any other person.
- 1:28:42Speaker 7: Could I get it.
- 1:28:44Speaker 2: Uh into another new hour here we got the phones
- 1:28:47Speaker 2: open eight seven seven forty four. Woody text us two
- 1:28:50Speaker 2: to nine eight seven with whatever you got. Just follow
- 1:28:54Speaker 2: us on social media. At the Woody Show, cheers and jeers.
- 1:28:59Speaker 10: Morgan what he okay, so cheers too. I went to
- 1:29:02Speaker 10: some bare knuckle fights, which is just all around the great.
- 1:29:05Speaker 10: I love that environment.
- 1:29:07Speaker 6: But the real cheers is to the heels that I
- 1:29:09Speaker 6: wore all.
- 1:29:09Speaker 10: Weekend that didn't make my feet bleed, didn't make my
- 1:29:12Speaker 10: dog's bark, and like it was my first time wearing them.
- 1:29:16Speaker 6: I know, usually my feet are all blistery and bloody.
- 1:29:19Speaker 2: But I thought chicks weren't wearing heels anymore menace.
- 1:29:21Speaker 6: The really went, thank God, but I got to hear
- 1:29:25Speaker 6: about these heels.
- 1:29:26Speaker 2: And she's already tall and she wears heels because there's
- 1:29:29Speaker 2: sexy af.
- 1:29:30Speaker 10: Well, yeah, you can't have a cute outfit and then
- 1:29:32Speaker 10: flats like throw up when real women wear heels.
- 1:29:36Speaker 6: I'll just say that, what's the brand? I don't know.
- 1:29:38Speaker 10: I got them on Amazon, so they're not even fancy.
- 1:29:41Speaker 10: So yeah, boring cheers, but shout out to those shoes.
- 1:29:46Speaker 10: Oh I wish my jeers goes to Planet Fitness many yeah,
- 1:29:53Speaker 10: get ready sea bests they have. Most people know this
- 1:29:56Speaker 10: two different membership types, a cheaper one and then a
- 1:29:59Speaker 10: quote unquote black card, more expensive one, but they're still
- 1:30:01Speaker 10: both cheap. I've always had the black card, and I realized.
- 1:30:04Speaker 6: I don't really need it. I go to the same gym.
- 1:30:06Speaker 6: I don't need to go to multiple I don't really
- 1:30:08Speaker 6: need the tan.
- 1:30:09Speaker 2: I'm like the government. She's going through her expenses and going,
- 1:30:12Speaker 2: you know what, we don't need to spend money on
- 1:30:14Speaker 2: this that I don't really use. That would be a
- 1:30:16Speaker 2: waste of money.
- 1:30:17Speaker 6: Might as well save fifteen dollars for a year, thank you.
- 1:30:19Speaker 2: So the government can learn so much from Morgan, right,
- 1:30:22Speaker 2: I agree whole classes.
- 1:30:25Speaker 10: So I'm like, next time I'm in, I'll talk to
- 1:30:26Speaker 10: the front does lady and I'll switch it just to
- 1:30:28Speaker 10: the basic one that's like what ten bucks or fifteen
- 1:30:32Speaker 10: y Yeah.
- 1:30:34Speaker 6: Well, this stupid bitch at the front she deserves that.
- 1:30:39Speaker 10: She had an attitude just from the beginning, right as
- 1:30:42Speaker 10: they do, which is fine, But I'm talking to her
- 1:30:44Speaker 10: I'm like, I just want to switch it to the
- 1:30:45Speaker 10: basic one. She's like, okay, well you're going to have
- 1:30:47Speaker 10: to pay a startup fee.
- 1:30:49Speaker 2: Startup startup, bitch. I have this membership for like twenty years, bitch,
- 1:30:52Speaker 2: I'll be coming here. Yeah, you're just changing which membership?
- 1:30:56Speaker 2: Do you have the membership?
- 1:30:57Speaker 4: Right?
- 1:30:57Speaker 2: You're changing what I'm not leveling.
- 1:31:01Speaker 7: Yeah, makes zero sense.
- 1:31:02Speaker 10: I just don't want to use the red light thing anymore, right,
- 1:31:04Speaker 10: And she's like, no, Like, it's thirty five dollars right
- 1:31:07Speaker 10: now if you want to pay the startup feed or
- 1:31:09Speaker 10: change your membership.
- 1:31:10Speaker 6: And I'm like, that's more than I pay every month
- 1:31:12Speaker 6: for you guys.
- 1:31:12Speaker 10: So anyways, they I'm going to keep my expensive membership
- 1:31:17Speaker 10: because I'm not paying thirty five dollars.
- 1:31:18Speaker 2: What's the difference to the cost of the one that
- 1:31:21Speaker 2: you have already is what?
- 1:31:22Speaker 5: I think?
- 1:31:23Speaker 6: It's like twenty three twenty three bucks.
- 1:31:25Speaker 2: Then the other one's eleven bucks.
- 1:31:26Speaker 6: Yeah, like ten dollars.
- 1:31:28Speaker 2: Well, I mean if you keep paying the same amount
- 1:31:30Speaker 2: that's on a three formless, it will add up.
- 1:31:32Speaker 10: Yes, But I just got mad and I'm like, I'm
- 1:31:34Speaker 10: not paying it's the principle.
- 1:31:36Speaker 6: I understand that yeah, I get it startup fee to
- 1:31:39Speaker 6: keep my membership.
- 1:31:40Speaker 7: And then what do they do for that fee?
- 1:31:42Speaker 5: Okay, what do they do?
- 1:31:43Speaker 6: Clock on the computer?
- 1:31:45Speaker 8: I have been a fan of planet is for a
- 1:31:46Speaker 8: long time, but they still they still have some old
- 1:31:49Speaker 8: bad gym habits, which is what Morgan's talking about right here.
- 1:31:53Speaker 8: You guys, remember during the pandemic, my local Planet Fitness
- 1:31:56Speaker 8: was fully closed down because it was in a state
- 1:31:58Speaker 8: that was run by com So I went to So
- 1:32:02Speaker 8: I went to a different state that was opened, and
- 1:32:05Speaker 8: I my Planet Fitness technically is in Aurora, Colorado, where
- 1:32:09Speaker 8: the What show is not broadcast I don't believe and
- 1:32:11Speaker 8: I don't live, but they were open, so I went
- 1:32:13Speaker 8: there to cancel my other one they needed me to
- 1:32:15Speaker 8: go to, not just I couldn't call, I couldn't go
- 1:32:17Speaker 8: on the website like you can do with every other
- 1:32:19Speaker 8: damn thing in the world, Amazon, Netflix, whatever. I just
- 1:32:22Speaker 8: send a letter to that Planet Fitness, which by the way,
- 1:32:24Speaker 8: wasn't staffed, so how are they gonna get my letter?
- 1:32:27Speaker 8: So they they while they are cheap, while they are everywhere,
- 1:32:30Speaker 8: while I do enjoy them that like we're gonna say,
- 1:32:32Speaker 8: they have a lot of those like hook line and sinker,
- 1:32:34Speaker 8: hidden scrap fees.
- 1:32:36Speaker 2: They make it impossible.
- 1:32:36Speaker 7: They could do it, but to do it like gym's
- 1:32:40Speaker 7: been doing this for decades as somebody who doesn't go
- 1:32:42Speaker 7: to the gym, even I'm aware of how complicated they
- 1:32:45Speaker 7: make it. Yeah, are they not self aware?
- 1:32:48Speaker 2: Do they not know?
- 1:32:49Speaker 7: The whole knows how difficult they make It doesn't matter
- 1:32:55Speaker 7: they know, But why are they in some sort of
- 1:32:57Speaker 7: separate legal world where they do their own things.
- 1:33:01Speaker 8: There's a calculation they they know we're going to piss
- 1:33:04Speaker 8: people off eventually, but at what costs?
- 1:33:06Speaker 7: Give up and just keep them?
- 1:33:08Speaker 5: Will either just give up or they'll never come back again.
- 1:33:11Speaker 2: A couple watched something where they were breaking down the
- 1:33:14Speaker 2: math of all these gyms and stuff and the low
- 1:33:18Speaker 2: cost gym membership is where it's at because you just
- 1:33:21Speaker 2: want the numbers because the majority of people will be
- 1:33:24Speaker 2: paying that monthly thing and never never go. They'll never
- 1:33:27Speaker 2: they'll never step foot in the gym. So there they
- 1:33:30Speaker 2: can do it at a lower because you're giving them
- 1:33:31Speaker 2: nothing in return.
- 1:33:32Speaker 7: Right, you've done that. I've done that.
- 1:33:35Speaker 2: We had the best intentions years pay I went to
- 1:33:41Speaker 2: so I'm just going to be out of principal want
- 1:33:42Speaker 2: you just like, uh, they might send you a route,
- 1:33:46Speaker 2: you know, like what you call somewhere they get to
- 1:33:49Speaker 2: the retention department. So tell them that, you go, yeah,
- 1:33:52Speaker 2: tell them you're just you know what, Then forget it that,
- 1:33:54Speaker 2: I'll just cancel.
- 1:33:55Speaker 5: You should just join Equinox.
- 1:33:57Speaker 6: You know, I did do like a weekly pass for
- 1:33:59Speaker 6: free there. It's very nice.
- 1:34:01Speaker 2: I'm saying, like you say, I'm going to cancel, and
- 1:34:03Speaker 2: they'll probably do something to try to keep you, and like, look,
- 1:34:06Speaker 2: I want all I wanted was to wave a stupid fee.
- 1:34:08Speaker 2: I'm trying to go from this to this.
- 1:34:09Speaker 8: But he's got an honestly thing here. Because you've been
- 1:34:11Speaker 8: you've been remember there much longer than a year, right long?
- 1:34:14Speaker 8: So canceling should be free. I mean that you passed
- 1:34:16Speaker 8: your whatever one year.
- 1:34:17Speaker 6: Yeah, I don't want to have to pay to cancel.
- 1:34:19Speaker 2: No, no, no, she wouldn't.
- 1:34:21Speaker 5: But that's perhaps before a lot of gyms you gotta
- 1:34:24Speaker 5: sign up for like years or six months.
- 1:34:26Speaker 2: I remember when I joined jack a Lane whichever Baallely's them.
- 1:34:33Speaker 2: Balllyts used to be the worst. I joined the Balllys
- 1:34:35Speaker 2: of a billion years ago and of course was never
- 1:34:38Speaker 2: went and so like, uh.
- 1:34:40Speaker 6: Women's yeah, ballis that's a female only gym.
- 1:34:44Speaker 2: It might be now, I don't know, but at the time,
- 1:34:46Speaker 2: at the time, it was like the Planet Fit is
- 1:34:48Speaker 2: of its time. There were a billion of them everywhere
- 1:34:50Speaker 2: and that's where you know, everybody just kind of signed up.
- 1:34:52Speaker 2: So I went signed up for the whole you know
- 1:34:54Speaker 2: whatever membership. And after about like you know, nine ten
- 1:34:57Speaker 2: months of going zero times, I called to cancel and
- 1:35:00Speaker 2: they go, well, you did agree to a three year
- 1:35:04Speaker 2: it's used to be with like you know, cell phones
- 1:35:06Speaker 2: or like where you were like watching You're like, wait,
- 1:35:08Speaker 2: hold on, and so they're like, I said, well, I
- 1:35:10Speaker 2: don't want it anymore, Like I'm just going to cancel,
- 1:35:12Speaker 2: and they're like, no, well you have to pay it out,
- 1:35:14Speaker 2: like I've had paid three years worth of dues to
- 1:35:17Speaker 2: get out of it. Yeah to uh to, I said, well,
- 1:35:20Speaker 2: I'm just not gonna well and then well they said,
- 1:35:22Speaker 2: we'll send you to collections.
- 1:35:24Speaker 6: Before like a hardball.
- 1:35:27Speaker 2: Yeah it was.
- 1:35:28Speaker 5: It was, yeah, but what YE was about to say,
- 1:35:30Speaker 5: I think is a good idea to straight up cancel
- 1:35:32Speaker 5: and you cancel there start start at this Planet Fitness.
- 1:35:34Speaker 5: You can literally go down the street to sign up
- 1:35:37Speaker 5: there for your regular one. Oh no, you can't do
- 1:35:39Speaker 5: that because you're downgrading crap.
- 1:35:41Speaker 6: Well, yeah, I'll just keep it for do what what
- 1:35:44Speaker 6: he said. Just call and say I'm canceling because of this,
- 1:35:47Speaker 6: and then they'll waive it.
- 1:35:48Speaker 2: Yeah, they say, yeah, cancel my membership. Can we ask
- 1:35:50Speaker 2: you a reason why I can? Well, yeah, because I
- 1:35:52Speaker 2: was just trying to change from one of the other.
- 1:35:54Speaker 2: It's ben They're charging me a fee to do it,
- 1:35:56Speaker 2: like that's the out of prints. I can't. That's so stupid.
- 1:35:58Speaker 2: I'm not doing I'm still and and go, well, I
- 1:36:00Speaker 2: think maybe we can do it. So if we can
- 1:36:02Speaker 2: wave that fee, will you stay a member? That's how
- 1:36:04Speaker 2: those retention ones work.
- 1:36:05Speaker 6: I want to keep you.
- 1:36:07Speaker 2: Yeah, you're too great.
- 1:36:09Speaker 6: Hey, it's worth Yeah, I'm doing all this time.
- 1:36:11Speaker 2: No, although they'll probably look at your record and go, wow,
- 1:36:13Speaker 2: she actually shows up and.
- 1:36:14Speaker 5: Use the facilities.
- 1:36:15Speaker 2: She's not the kind of customer we want. People sign
- 1:36:19Speaker 2: up and never come.
- 1:36:20Speaker 6: Yeah. Yeah, they should bring the pizza back though.
- 1:36:22Speaker 2: Uh. Gina grad cheers and jeers cheers.
- 1:36:25Speaker 6: I saw two of the best movies this weekend that
- 1:36:28Speaker 6: I've been waiting to become available on streaming. Oh my god,
- 1:36:32Speaker 6: so good Project tail Mary. If you didn't see it,
- 1:36:36Speaker 6: I hated that it was so dumb. Did did you
- 1:36:39Speaker 6: see the Martian? It's very similar. It's the same writer,
- 1:36:41Speaker 6: it's the same novelist.
- 1:36:42Speaker 2: Oh that was so dumb.
- 1:36:44Speaker 6: But did you like the marsh On or No?
- 1:36:45Speaker 5: No, it's got space? What do you think?
- 1:36:49Speaker 6: It's a very well here's the thing. I needed to
- 1:36:51Speaker 6: find a movie that I could watch with a grandmother
- 1:36:54Speaker 6: and a ten years old That's so we did family.
- 1:36:56Speaker 2: Let's go visit my mom. And my mom's like, oh,
- 1:36:58Speaker 2: we should go see this movie. I heard it's really
- 1:37:00Speaker 2: good because you want to take the kids of the movie.
- 1:37:01Speaker 2: So was my mom, my, stepdad, Jen, and I and
- 1:37:03Speaker 2: the kids and we all left going what the hell
- 1:37:06Speaker 2: was that?
- 1:37:06Speaker 5: I loved it because I watched the trailer of that.
- 1:37:08Speaker 5: I'm like, this looks awful and I was laughing. But
- 1:37:11Speaker 5: there were so many people that were excited to go see. Well.
- 1:37:14Speaker 6: The thing is, it doesn't and I didn't know this
- 1:37:15Speaker 6: at the time. It doesn't take itself seriously. It's not
- 1:37:18Speaker 6: like Interstellar, which is like my favorite movie. It's very
- 1:37:21Speaker 6: sort of fun and tongue in cheek and I loved it.
- 1:37:23Speaker 6: It was it was the perfect movie for the for
- 1:37:26Speaker 6: all the ages I needed to accommodate to watch it.
- 1:37:29Speaker 5: Loved it.
- 1:37:30Speaker 6: And then when everybody else went to bed, I finally
- 1:37:32Speaker 6: got to watch the movie I've been trying to watch
- 1:37:34Speaker 6: for months now, obsession.
- 1:37:37Speaker 2: I watched it this weekend.
- 1:37:38Speaker 6: Girl, It's really good. Okay, I'm gonna say this. It's
- 1:37:42Speaker 6: I get the premise. I'm like, oh, this is gonna
- 1:37:44Speaker 6: be so cookie cutter, blah blah blah. It's way weirder
- 1:37:48Speaker 6: than I thought it would be. And that's why it
- 1:37:50Speaker 6: was awesome. So highly recommend it good. Uh, I don't
- 1:37:53Speaker 6: know if is it a horror movie?
- 1:37:55Speaker 14: Yeah?
- 1:37:55Speaker 6: I mean it's like like creepy.
- 1:37:57Speaker 5: Yeah, a lot waiting on my TV and the opening scene,
- 1:38:00Speaker 5: I'm like, oh, that is a lot darker than I
- 1:38:03Speaker 5: thought of it.
- 1:38:03Speaker 6: Yeah, I'm glad that it wasn't so cookie cutter?
- 1:38:06Speaker 2: Was very weird?
- 1:38:07Speaker 7: Where can you find that on.
- 1:38:10Speaker 3: HBO?
- 1:38:10Speaker 2: One of the streamers my Halloween love and son, he
- 1:38:13Speaker 2: watched it with his buddies, Yes, and he loved it.
- 1:38:15Speaker 5: Okay, I want to.
- 1:38:16Speaker 6: Say, you get Yeah, it's very the characters are very weird.
- 1:38:21Speaker 6: And I say that as a compliment, so that ruled Jeers.
- 1:38:25Speaker 6: I could not wait for Sunday. I announced to everybody,
- 1:38:29Speaker 6: which was my big mistake. I'm sleeping in. I'm sleeping in,
- 1:38:33Speaker 6: I told everybody Saturday night. Oh my god, I'm so excited.
- 1:38:36Speaker 6: I'm sleeping in. Well, my baby, my puppy, Pip, who's
- 1:38:40Speaker 6: now four months old, started crapping herself Saturday night and
- 1:38:44Speaker 6: it lasted all night. I was super worried. She was
- 1:38:47Speaker 6: acting super weird. She never goes in her crate her
- 1:38:50Speaker 6: her home is our bed, and I woke up at
- 1:38:52Speaker 6: three in the morning and she was kind of whimpering
- 1:38:54Speaker 6: in her crate and there was like diarrhea everywhere, and
- 1:38:56Speaker 6: it felt so bad.
- 1:38:58Speaker 2: Who fed that animal? Well, because you got visitors, That's.
- 1:39:02Speaker 6: What I thought. I think it's operator error, and I
- 1:39:05Speaker 6: think it's my fault. I will explain in a moment.
- 1:39:08Speaker 6: So I get up in the at eight o'clock in
- 1:39:10Speaker 6: the morning, there's just literal crap everywhere. I said, I'm
- 1:39:13Speaker 6: taking her the animal hospital. I don't know what to
- 1:39:15Speaker 6: do because there's little traces of blood. Freaked out, get
- 1:39:18Speaker 6: to THEE have you I think you have you ever
- 1:39:19Speaker 6: been inside that animal hospital, would he know, Okay, it
- 1:39:22Speaker 6: is crazy.
- 1:39:24Speaker 2: It is you can bring any time. Yeah, and it's
- 1:39:26Speaker 2: there's the grocery store, so that doesn't make it.
- 1:39:32Speaker 6: Yeah, there's no surgery rooms. It's a hospital. There's just
- 1:39:36Speaker 6: like tables, so you're watching active surgeries like just in
- 1:39:39Speaker 6: the room, which was actually pretty fascinating, but it took hours.
- 1:39:43Speaker 6: I came back later, took more hours, and they did
- 1:39:46Speaker 6: all the little you know, they gave her the fever
- 1:39:48Speaker 6: up the butt, you know, the thermometer and all this stuff.
- 1:39:52Speaker 6: I said, I wasn't going to pay for diagnostics, so
- 1:39:55Speaker 6: just like, tell me what are we thinking here? She
- 1:39:58Speaker 6: got the subcutaneous water fluid like under her little fur
- 1:40:01Speaker 6: and sent me home with twenty five dollars sillium husk,
- 1:40:04Speaker 6: which was about a tablespoon worth. But I think it
- 1:40:07Speaker 6: was my fault.
- 1:40:07Speaker 2: What does any of that mean? Like you're talking about
- 1:40:09Speaker 2: it like we're supposed to know what these things.
- 1:40:10Speaker 5: I'm not scientist, you know, subcutaneous under the skin, yeah,
- 1:40:15Speaker 5: the skin.
- 1:40:16Speaker 6: Sillium husk is just every that meta music. Yeah, but
- 1:40:20Speaker 6: it's not me of you. It's just yeah, exactly twenty
- 1:40:24Speaker 6: five dollars. So I got her some new food because
- 1:40:29Speaker 6: they didn't have the one that she'd been eating. And
- 1:40:31Speaker 6: I was like, oh, lamb, sounds good. And then she's
- 1:40:33Speaker 6: just started crapping herself. But I was saying, but I
- 1:40:36Speaker 6: went back that morning and got her the right one,
- 1:40:38Speaker 6: and I think I tried to course correct and then
- 1:40:40Speaker 6: that made her crap herself.
- 1:40:42Speaker 5: What if I told you about lamb?
- 1:40:43Speaker 2: Yeah, lamb.
- 1:40:46Speaker 7: I mean it depends on the dog. My dog. It
- 1:40:49Speaker 7: breaks out when she has chicken that so.
- 1:40:53Speaker 6: Many dogs are allergic to chicken. That's really I mean,
- 1:40:58Speaker 6: what is going on with the dog. So I'm hoping
- 1:41:01Speaker 6: that it stops. But she's just she's a mess right now,
- 1:41:04Speaker 6: and with that fur boy getting a lot of oh
- 1:41:09Speaker 6: and the groomer said, she has some mats around her,
- 1:41:12Speaker 6: and I better off shaving her.
- 1:41:14Speaker 2: Shave my dog all the madding you do.
- 1:41:18Speaker 9: You do have to, because what can end up happening
- 1:41:21Speaker 9: The madding Number one hurts and then when you go
- 1:41:23Speaker 9: to give them a bath, like water and something get
- 1:41:26Speaker 9: trapped under there, and then they can grow moles.
- 1:41:28Speaker 6: You need if she is madden, you need to shave.
- 1:41:31Speaker 6: I don't want her to look like day every oh god,
- 1:41:34Speaker 6: multiple times a day. I mean she is. She is
- 1:41:37Speaker 6: a high maintenance as bitch.
- 1:41:40Speaker 7: Where's she getting mad at?
- 1:41:41Speaker 6: Like in the back back of her legs? And little
- 1:41:43Speaker 6: so shave her.
- 1:41:45Speaker 2: Got him down. She had to shave Cassie for her surgery.
- 1:41:49Speaker 2: That will like hind quarter to go in for the
- 1:41:51Speaker 2: little knee surgery thing for her, Like that's gonna take
- 1:41:54Speaker 2: forever to grow. Backs can just take forever.
- 1:42:00Speaker 6: As like, I don't even care if you just cut
- 1:42:01Speaker 6: big chunks of matting out of her try and like
- 1:42:04Speaker 6: blend it like a bad aircut. Don't please don't shift
- 1:42:07Speaker 6: my Dogt's.
- 1:42:08Speaker 8: See sea bass cheers and jeers, well, cheers to Josh Kerr,
- 1:42:12Speaker 8: who really did something amazing athletically during all of these
- 1:42:17Speaker 8: soccer slash lawn fairy action he was lost. We have
- 1:42:20Speaker 8: a new mile record time of three minutes and forty
- 1:42:24Speaker 8: three seconds. A man ran a mile in three forty
- 1:42:27Speaker 8: three and just some random scotsman that no one's ever
- 1:42:31Speaker 8: heard of.
- 1:42:31Speaker 5: Here's the call.
- 1:42:32Speaker 2: Here he goes. I think he's gonna do this, kid,
- 1:42:35Speaker 2: do Josh kit the josh. It's a yam oh my,
- 1:42:46Speaker 2: what ah my?
- 1:42:47Speaker 5: What how fast is you running? What's this?
- 1:42:50Speaker 8: That's an average pace of over sixteen miles an hour,
- 1:42:53Speaker 8: jew which most human being, most adult humans cannot get.
- 1:42:57Speaker 5: To sixteen miles an hour. Okay, and he's I have
- 1:43:02Speaker 5: a time I've done. I've done fifteen on a treadmill.
- 1:43:04Speaker 5: Most treadmills don't go faster as we've heard.
- 1:43:07Speaker 8: Yeah, but you know the top I think it was
- 1:43:09Speaker 8: saying bolts like twenty three miles an hour, So to
- 1:43:12Speaker 8: do that for three minutes forty three really amazing. Joshez
- 1:43:14Speaker 8: he trained in America, of course, but he's still a Scotsman.
- 1:43:17Speaker 8: Still Rando doing it. Jeers to the Germans who tried
- 1:43:21Speaker 8: to scam me and you Greg Gory had the joy
- 1:43:24Speaker 8: of cart narks.
- 1:43:25Speaker 6: Oh yeah, totally.
- 1:43:26Speaker 8: We talked about this when Burt Kreischer was in here
- 1:43:28Speaker 8: about how these scammers are getting really tired to get targeted.
- 1:43:31Speaker 8: They'll find people who have like a million or so
- 1:43:33Speaker 8: followers and say, hey, we want you to come on
- 1:43:34Speaker 8: Burt Kreischer's podcast or you know, right, But then they
- 1:43:37Speaker 8: look up like the manager's name and they'll send something. Well,
- 1:43:40Speaker 8: they've gotten to the next level. They sent me, Hey,
- 1:43:43Speaker 8: you want to be on Danica Patrick's podcast. She loves
- 1:43:46Speaker 8: cardinarks and usually it's generic that they said she loves
- 1:43:48Speaker 8: how You Bust Lazy Bones? Like, oh, okay, interesting, and
- 1:43:51Speaker 8: it was, and then it was from They even made
- 1:43:53Speaker 8: a domain name at like her name of her podcast.
- 1:43:56Speaker 8: Now I was like, oh, that's interesting. So I said, yeah,
- 1:43:58Speaker 8: you want to talk to a zoom have a Zoom
- 1:44:00Speaker 8: call and talk about it real quick. Great, we'll we'll
- 1:44:03Speaker 8: forward you to our calls team. It's like, uh, oh,
- 1:44:05Speaker 8: that's a flag. And I checked the domain name and
- 1:44:08Speaker 8: it went to nowhere that even make a fake landing page.
- 1:44:11Speaker 8: So this jackass I knew it was going on, but
- 1:44:13Speaker 8: I said, I I tell you, I'll take the call
- 1:44:14Speaker 8: just for fun. So this jackass German guy, no, no video,
- 1:44:18Speaker 8: just a photo of rando guy. And I'm talking to
- 1:44:21Speaker 8: him like okay, this is it, you know. And then
- 1:44:23Speaker 8: he gets to the this is where they get you.
- 1:44:24Speaker 8: They want to log onto your Facebook and your Instagram too,
- 1:44:27Speaker 8: so you can signent page right.
- 1:44:29Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:44:29Speaker 8: And so when he started saying this, I said, are
- 1:44:31Speaker 8: you send me a zoom link? No, we'll send in German.
- 1:44:34Speaker 5: No, We'll send you a Facebook blah blah blah.
- 1:44:35Speaker 2: Sure.
- 1:44:36Speaker 5: And then so they go from here.
- 1:44:37Speaker 2: On both meta platforms.
- 1:44:39Speaker 6: It's for live streaming.
- 1:44:41Speaker 1: Have you ever joined from the meta platforms for live streaming?
- 1:44:45Speaker 5: No? I haven't.
- 1:44:46Speaker 2: Maybe you should check that right now or make sure
- 1:44:51Speaker 2: that thing beforehead.
- 1:44:52Speaker 5: This is going to be broadcast on both of our
- 1:44:54Speaker 5: Facebook and Instagram simultaneously.
- 1:44:56Speaker 2: Yeah, exactly at the same time.
- 1:44:58Speaker 5: Oh, this is a scam. You're trying to scam me
- 1:45:00Speaker 5: to get access to my Facebook and Instagram account. Why
- 1:45:02Speaker 5: didn't you say so earlier?
- 1:45:04Speaker 2: It's a live broadcast.
- 1:45:05Speaker 5: No, no, I'm very aware of how these scams work. Stupid,
- 1:45:09Speaker 5: not as tall, sir, not at anything. I mean, I'll
- 1:45:11Speaker 5: give you guys credit for setting up a new domain name,
- 1:45:12Speaker 5: but it doesn't go anywhere. That's how I knew it
- 1:45:14Speaker 5: was a scam. Dumb, dumb. And also your English is terrible,
- 1:45:17Speaker 5: you stupid German.
- 1:45:21Speaker 2: Yeah, he might be.
- 1:45:23Speaker 8: Confused on the part from no, no sir, No sir,
- 1:45:27Speaker 8: but like, yeah again, I've I've been on tons of podcasts.
- 1:45:30Speaker 2: This is not again.
- 1:45:31Speaker 5: I've had these scams, but it was interest there. They're
- 1:45:33Speaker 5: getting better.
- 1:45:34Speaker 2: Yeah, and they wouldn't they could legit. You wouldn't hang
- 1:45:36Speaker 2: in there like you're trying to book an interview, you know.
- 1:45:38Speaker 2: I forget this guy. We're not gonna help you out.
- 1:45:41Speaker 5: Why didn't you say so.
- 1:45:41Speaker 2: Earlier it's a live broadcast.
- 1:45:44Speaker 5: No, no, I'm very aware of how these scams work. Stupid,
- 1:45:47Speaker 5: not at tall, sir, not at anything. I mean, I'll
- 1:45:49Speaker 5: give you guys credit for setting up a new domain name,
- 1:45:51Speaker 5: but it doesn't go anywhere. So that's how I knew
- 1:45:52Speaker 5: it was a scam. Dumb dumb by. And also your
- 1:45:55Speaker 5: English is terrible, you stupid German. I'm so sorry, but
- 1:45:58Speaker 5: let me ask you this stupid what's my name him?
- 1:46:01Speaker 2: Are you David or exactly?
- 1:46:04Speaker 5: Now, I enjoy living in your crap country with your
- 1:46:06Speaker 5: fat wife.
- 1:46:10Speaker 2: I can say whatever I want exactly. I should have
- 1:46:16Speaker 2: mentioned the crap country with your fat wife.
- 1:46:19Speaker 8: Midway through the email conversation instead of saying may the
- 1:46:21Speaker 8: part narks.
- 1:46:23Speaker 5: It was an email from a guy named David. I said, Hey, David,
- 1:46:25Speaker 5: we'll be happy to have you on the danaka Patrick
- 1:46:27Speaker 5: Pockets like okay, all right, yeah, that's why I asked
- 1:46:30Speaker 5: him that.
- 1:46:35Speaker 7: All right.
- 1:46:35Speaker 2: So one of the last piece here about the World Cup.
- 1:46:41Speaker 2: So Dana White and his production team at the UFC,
- 1:46:45Speaker 2: they were taking heat because they put up a graphic
- 1:46:48Speaker 2: with that boxer who is who is the boxer Jeff
- 1:46:50Speaker 2: who was of course Stevenson. Yeah right yeah, so and
- 1:46:54Speaker 2: the production team just looked bad. And so Dana had
- 1:46:58Speaker 2: come out to say like, hey man, like that were
- 1:47:01Speaker 2: the worst, We were the worst. And he owned it,
- 1:47:05Speaker 2: he did. Yeah.
- 1:47:06Speaker 12: They put Jalen Williams, who was a basketball player, under
- 1:47:09Speaker 12: the live video of the boxer.
- 1:47:11Speaker 5: Yeah, so they confused them.
- 1:47:13Speaker 2: Yeah, and he's you know, but he took accountability saying,
- 1:47:16Speaker 2: hey man, you know what, dude, we screwed up. Follow
- 1:47:19Speaker 2: how embarrassing x y Z. Well. Then something happened at
- 1:47:23Speaker 2: the World Cup game and the announcer completely butchered the
- 1:47:29Speaker 2: celebrity spotting. Yes, oh yeah, here's a little clip.
- 1:47:33Speaker 4: Ak kik sorry AKA, but they were showing Pharrell on
- 1:47:40Speaker 4: the screen at that time, so not only did they
- 1:47:42Speaker 4: mispronoun they were showing a whole nother freaking person.
- 1:47:45Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:47:46Speaker 2: And then Dana White made a comment on.
- 1:47:48Speaker 15: That the guys who were doing the production, the guys
- 1:47:50Speaker 15: responsible for the production of the World Cup, even though
- 1:47:52Speaker 15: everybody in my team was arguably saying that you are
- 1:47:55Speaker 15: the worst, I said, no, we are the worst. Uh,
- 1:47:58Speaker 15: they didn't put up as bad as we did. And
- 1:48:00Speaker 15: what do you guys do you triple down today and
- 1:48:03Speaker 15: you just go, Dana White, You're not beating us. We're
- 1:48:06Speaker 15: the worst production team and the history of sports to
- 1:48:09Speaker 15: ever show celebrities. Congratulations to the producers of the World Cup.
- 1:48:13Speaker 15: You guys win.
- 1:48:14Speaker 7: You guys fucked up that fly.
- 1:48:15Speaker 5: Over to.
- 1:48:18Speaker 2: Oh yeah, that's true. I guess it was kind of
- 1:48:20Speaker 2: a mess. Yeah, madonnas on for like what sixteen seconds? Yeah, yeah,
- 1:48:24Speaker 2: lip syncing and then that's what Jeff was saying. I
- 1:48:28Speaker 2: didn't see it personally, but they're pointing out, you know,
- 1:48:31Speaker 2: all these things from the broadcasts that were all jacked up.
- 1:48:35Speaker 7: And yeah, yeah, Shakida looked great too. Man, she is
- 1:48:37Speaker 7: so great. They're doing all these AI videos today of
- 1:48:40Speaker 7: Madonna coming out with a walker. Oh.
- 1:48:42Speaker 5: I didn't get the whole Muppets thing though, Yeah, that
- 1:48:46Speaker 5: was kind of weird and random.
- 1:48:47Speaker 2: Man off, So menace. Did you see the first ever
- 1:48:50Speaker 2: Ultimate Robot Knockout Legend competitions?
- 1:48:53Speaker 5: Dude, it's pretty bad ass. I was gonna ask Morgan
- 1:48:56Speaker 5: about it what she thought slash hilarious? Yeah, I mean,
- 1:48:59Speaker 5: but see how badass are fighting though?
- 1:49:02Speaker 2: So thirty two teams from all around the world and
- 1:49:04Speaker 2: they're all using the same T eight hundred humanoid robot, right,
- 1:49:08Speaker 2: And so there's a video you might have seen it
- 1:49:11Speaker 2: pop up in this one round where the robot delivered
- 1:49:15Speaker 2: this flying kick to it to the robot opponent's face
- 1:49:19Speaker 2: and it knocked the head clean off its and it's
- 1:49:22Speaker 2: freaking people out because see, guys, we've got to stop
- 1:49:24Speaker 2: training these things to fight, which I do, I do agree,
- 1:49:27Speaker 2: I do a certain agree on that because they're eventually
- 1:49:29Speaker 2: gonna think for themselves and they're gonna, you know, they're
- 1:49:31Speaker 2: gonna kick all of our asses. But like, see, this
- 1:49:34Speaker 2: is the problem because they knocked its head completely off
- 1:49:36Speaker 2: and it's still fighting. Yeah, because all the brains are
- 1:49:38Speaker 2: not in the head of the robot. It's just because
- 1:49:41Speaker 2: it's a humanoid form, because it makes people more comfortable
- 1:49:44Speaker 2: watching a human form than some other kind of you know,
- 1:49:47Speaker 2: robot form. But it's not like all its brains and
- 1:49:50Speaker 2: its capability of performing is all in its head. So yeah,
- 1:49:54Speaker 2: you can knock the head off of it same way
- 1:49:56Speaker 2: like you can lose an arm and keep going.
- 1:49:58Speaker 5: Yeah, it's not like these like slow last robots anymore.
- 1:50:01Speaker 6: This is like full on like, yeah, that didn't take long.
- 1:50:04Speaker 8: If we are going to make humanoid robots that can fight,
- 1:50:06Speaker 8: let's not name them directly after terminators, directly the name.
- 1:50:12Speaker 2: Of the I know you're doing it on purpose. Yeah,
- 1:50:14Speaker 2: the damaged one man just kept going. They threw some
- 1:50:17Speaker 2: more punches. His head was like dangling between its shoulders.
- 1:50:20Speaker 2: Is tough? So freaky? Yeah yeah, because they go, well,
- 1:50:24Speaker 2: what's the worst that could happen?
- 1:50:25Speaker 5: You know? Yeah, And I'm still gonna see like humans
- 1:50:27Speaker 5: fight too, you know, but I like this option as well.
- 1:50:31Speaker 5: You know, yeah, horses are fashion than people. We still
- 1:50:33Speaker 5: watch people race.
- 1:50:34Speaker 2: It's like battle bots. That show that we were talking about. Yeah,
- 1:50:38Speaker 2: eight seven seven forty four Woodie sent us a text
- 1:50:40Speaker 2: over to two two nine eighty seven more Woodies shows next.
- 1:50:43Speaker 2: The show will be right back, Okay, I told the security.
- 1:50:52Speaker 6: Excuse me, show.
- 1:50:57Speaker 2: All right, welcome back. So Jeff g is one of
- 1:51:05Speaker 2: these dads. He's one of the thermostat watching dads.
- 1:51:08Speaker 7: Oh god, yeah, if I had kids, I'd be the same.
- 1:51:12Speaker 2: Oh yeah. I always thought that was just like a stereotype,
- 1:51:16Speaker 2: like a dad's stereotype.
- 1:51:18Speaker 5: It was very real.
- 1:51:20Speaker 2: Yeah, would you say mass.
- 1:51:23Speaker 5: That is one hundred percent real. I have family members
- 1:51:25Speaker 5: that like, they watch it constantly. If I turn it on,
- 1:51:29Speaker 5: they'll turn it down.
- 1:51:30Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:51:31Speaker 6: I grew up in that house. I refuse to be
- 1:51:32Speaker 6: one of them.
- 1:51:33Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:51:33Speaker 2: Like, my wife doesn't understand I think how it works.
- 1:51:37Speaker 2: I think she thinks that the more you turn it down,
- 1:51:40Speaker 2: like if you take the temperature and turn it down,
- 1:51:42Speaker 2: like you're making the air colder. So if you're really
- 1:51:46Speaker 2: hot and you want the air to blow extra cold,
- 1:51:48Speaker 2: you would turn it down, not setting it to the
- 1:51:50Speaker 2: temperature you think will be comfortable in the house. She
- 1:51:53Speaker 2: thinks like, if it like, let's say that the air,
- 1:51:56Speaker 2: if the thermostat is set at seventy one degrees, that
- 1:51:59Speaker 2: air that's coming out of events is going to blow
- 1:52:01Speaker 2: warmer than the air with the thermostat is set to
- 1:52:04Speaker 2: sixty eight degrees. Oh okay, it doesn't work like that,
- 1:52:07Speaker 2: And so many people confuse that, oh I'm really hot,
- 1:52:10Speaker 2: so they crank it all the way to the lowest
- 1:52:13Speaker 2: number that it'll go in the thermost at. It doesn't
- 1:52:16Speaker 2: cool it any faster, and the air that's coming out
- 1:52:18Speaker 2: of the vents isn't any colder. It's just going to
- 1:52:20Speaker 2: stay on for a long maybe like at a higher
- 1:52:22Speaker 2: fan speed to try to cool it down, right, but
- 1:52:25Speaker 2: like it's not like it's getting I set it to
- 1:52:27Speaker 2: where you think will be comfortable. I'm comfortable at seventy
- 1:52:30Speaker 2: one degrees. So set the thermotgol Like in your car,
- 1:52:32Speaker 2: you get set where he goes, like you have the
- 1:52:34Speaker 2: auto setting on your temperature. Just set it, like, just
- 1:52:37Speaker 2: put it there that where you're not constantly messing with
- 1:52:40Speaker 2: the fan speed and it just goes to whatever you
- 1:52:43Speaker 2: think is going to be the comfortable temperature and then leave.
- 1:52:45Speaker 8: It to explain what he's playing a little more. The
- 1:52:47Speaker 8: all the air coming outs between fifty five and sixty.
- 1:52:49Speaker 2: Degrees, Yeah, it's all the same, right, it's just how
- 1:52:52Speaker 2: long it's going to stay on and at what intensity
- 1:52:54Speaker 2: the fan will maybe be at to maintain the temperature
- 1:52:57Speaker 2: you've set it at.
- 1:52:58Speaker 6: Yeah, that makes sense.
- 1:52:59Speaker 2: So it like, oh, it's really hot up here and
- 1:53:01Speaker 2: we're getting ready to go to bed, and so she'll
- 1:53:03Speaker 2: crank it down like super low. But then you wake
- 1:53:06Speaker 2: up freezing. Oh now I'm cold. So now you put
- 1:53:09Speaker 2: it back to seventy three and you're like, not, it's
- 1:53:11Speaker 2: too hot. Correct exactly exactly so, but Jeff g even
- 1:53:16Speaker 2: if it's hot af he's the dad who refuses to
- 1:53:20Speaker 2: have the air conditioning on at night.
- 1:53:24Speaker 5: When we're sleeping.
- 1:53:26Speaker 6: But how do you stay asleep if it's hot?
- 1:53:27Speaker 7: How do you notice when you're asleep?
- 1:53:29Speaker 5: Oh, dude, I'm too hot.
- 1:53:31Speaker 2: I'm making when it's time.
- 1:53:33Speaker 7: Oh.
- 1:53:34Speaker 12: I go to bed earlier obviously than everybody else. Right,
- 1:53:36Speaker 12: so I go to bed like, like you said, freezing
- 1:53:38Speaker 12: in my bed because it's like at seventy one, right,
- 1:53:41Speaker 12: But I tell them when it when you guys go
- 1:53:42Speaker 12: to bed at.
- 1:53:43Speaker 7: Ten, eleven or twelve whatever, turn it off.
- 1:53:45Speaker 12: And if it's still hot, I mean, if it's cool
- 1:53:48Speaker 12: enough outside, just open your window and then that way
- 1:53:50Speaker 12: you can get a little bit of breeze in and
- 1:53:51Speaker 12: it's not so stuffy in there.
- 1:53:52Speaker 2: Some of these hot summer nights. Man, it's like it's
- 1:53:55Speaker 2: not cool enough outside. We were always for sleeping.
- 1:53:59Speaker 6: We had to we had to jam our window up
- 1:54:01Speaker 6: and put a box fan in, and then my mom
- 1:54:03Speaker 6: would say, everyone keep your bedroom doors open at night.
- 1:54:06Speaker 6: It'll create a cross breeze like sweating.
- 1:54:09Speaker 5: Done.
- 1:54:10Speaker 7: Well.
- 1:54:10Speaker 12: They also have fans in there, right, So they have
- 1:54:12Speaker 12: two fans in the room that they share. So everybody's fine.
- 1:54:16Speaker 12: They're just they just want to be lazy and keep
- 1:54:18Speaker 12: the air on and cost me more money. Yeah, that's
- 1:54:21Speaker 12: so bad.
- 1:54:22Speaker 5: It is, I mean eight.
- 1:54:23Speaker 7: Hours of them sleeping with the airon.
- 1:54:25Speaker 2: But the thing is like, again, if you just set
- 1:54:27Speaker 2: the temperature to what you think is comfortable in the house,
- 1:54:29Speaker 2: it's not like it's just going to be on. Yeah,
- 1:54:31Speaker 2: Like the air conditioner will turn off because it's reached
- 1:54:34Speaker 2: the temperature that you have determined was the comfortable temperature.
- 1:54:37Speaker 12: So if I put it at seventy three for the night, right, yeah,
- 1:54:40Speaker 12: you're going to complain it's still hot anyways. Like they
- 1:54:42Speaker 12: want to see it coming out, you know, they want
- 1:54:44Speaker 12: to hear it and feel it coming out of the
- 1:54:45Speaker 12: vents all the time.
- 1:54:46Speaker 5: I want to see your point, like Jen, you know,
- 1:54:48Speaker 5: so I don't you know me, I don't handle handle finances.
- 1:54:51Speaker 5: So how much does lecture city costly these days? Like,
- 1:54:55Speaker 5: I have no idea. It's a buttload, dude. That's why
- 1:54:58Speaker 5: I argue with them. Yeah.
- 1:54:59Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't know how to even explain because it
- 1:55:03Speaker 2: depends on you know, a house how much. But the
- 1:55:05Speaker 2: space is it's not like it's it's not it's not like.
- 1:55:08Speaker 6: A like a fuel, but it's more than you think
- 1:55:11Speaker 6: it is.
- 1:55:12Speaker 7: And it's whatever the utility company conjures in.
- 1:55:16Speaker 5: Whatever size three bedroom house, what would be a monthly monthly.
- 1:55:23Speaker 7: In the summer.
- 1:55:24Speaker 5: Yeah almost, I was gonna say seven hundred thousand bucks.
- 1:55:29Speaker 7: Seven damn it.
- 1:55:31Speaker 12: I don't feel like it's too much for me to
- 1:55:33Speaker 12: ask him to turn it off at now you got fans.
- 1:55:36Speaker 6: It's smart. It's like you're gonna be hot anyway, you
- 1:55:37Speaker 6: might as well save you some money and be hot.
- 1:55:40Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean I had solar and then like some
- 1:55:44Speaker 5: special insulation in the house that they said that keeps
- 1:55:47Speaker 5: the energy costs really low. I don't know what, but
- 1:55:50Speaker 5: you have have no no idea what that is. But yeah,
- 1:55:53Speaker 5: it was like a soling point in the house.
- 1:55:55Speaker 7: And we have one of those roof fans you have.
- 1:55:57Speaker 7: I'm sure you don't where it clicks on in the attic.
- 1:56:00Speaker 12: So then it's supposed to help, and it's a we
- 1:56:04Speaker 12: just redid our roof so it's brand new, so I
- 1:56:06Speaker 12: know that thing helps and it works a little bit.
- 1:56:08Speaker 5: They're up right, Yeah, it takes the hot, it pushes
- 1:56:11Speaker 5: it out. So I'm trying, you know, Yeah, they're gonna
- 1:56:15Speaker 5: complain no matter what I do.
- 1:56:16Speaker 7: What do you know that? There you go?
- 1:56:17Speaker 2: So uh nine four nine, Jeff, you need a whole
- 1:56:19Speaker 2: house fan, which is what you're talking about. I turn
- 1:56:22Speaker 2: it on eight cools my house down below seventy three
- 1:56:24Speaker 2: degrees seventy three.
- 1:56:26Speaker 7: That's hot.
- 1:56:26Speaker 5: Yeah, that's just the first sleeping.
- 1:56:28Speaker 7: Seventy three fine, not for sleeping, yeah, seventy one. I'm
- 1:56:32Speaker 7: like freezing under the cover.
- 1:56:34Speaker 6: Yeah, sixty nine.
- 1:56:36Speaker 5: Those little things that you can carry around now, I
- 1:56:39Speaker 5: don't know. They look like these boxes and they said,
- 1:56:42Speaker 5: oh cool, your whole house and five minutes with this
- 1:56:45Speaker 5: thing that you plug in. Have you seen those machines?
- 1:56:47Speaker 5: They sell them at like at home depot and stuff.
- 1:56:49Speaker 6: Not what I have thought about those. Have you seen
- 1:56:52Speaker 6: those tubes that that like go under your bed?
- 1:56:55Speaker 2: Oh yeah, yeah, that's like a jet bed.
- 1:56:58Speaker 13: Yeah.
- 1:56:58Speaker 7: I forget what it's called, but the contraption it's hooked
- 1:57:00Speaker 7: up to it'sidous.
- 1:57:03Speaker 2: I know.
- 1:57:03Speaker 6: It would not be allowed as house.
- 1:57:06Speaker 7: Yeah, they build those into the floor.
- 1:57:08Speaker 6: That would be nice. When you were kids, did you
- 1:57:11Speaker 6: ever make fan for It's like for a sleepover. You
- 1:57:14Speaker 6: take a sheet and you tape it to your box fan,
- 1:57:16Speaker 6: and like you tape it all around and you turn
- 1:57:18Speaker 6: it on and you get inside of it and sleep
- 1:57:20Speaker 6: in there. We'd always wait up, wake up like sick
- 1:57:22Speaker 6: and like our throats dry. But you sleep in that
- 1:57:25Speaker 6: all night and it keeps the it keeps the sheet up.
- 1:57:27Speaker 6: Nobody fan for its man.
- 1:57:29Speaker 5: Take it to your box fan drig because you just
- 1:57:32Speaker 5: have box fans.
- 1:57:36Speaker 2: To your extra box fan.
- 1:57:38Speaker 8: But apparently your mom wasn't wrong. In the eighteen hundreds,
- 1:57:41Speaker 8: they used to have outdoor porches where you put you
- 1:57:45Speaker 8: have basically you have the thing upstairs where you go
- 1:57:47Speaker 8: sleep outside during the summer because that's your higher You
- 1:57:49Speaker 8: get brecatch breezes.
- 1:57:51Speaker 6: Up there, create the cross breeze.
- 1:57:52Speaker 7: Yep.
- 1:57:53Speaker 2: Have a two bedroom, two bath, one thousand square foot apartment.
- 1:57:56Speaker 2: We have our ac on every single day since we
- 1:57:58Speaker 2: moved in a year ago. We keep the temperature. It's
- 1:58:00Speaker 2: seventy and it's one hundred and forty dollars a month.
- 1:58:03Speaker 5: Wow, Wow, I'm moving in with.
- 1:58:06Speaker 7: You, stealing electricity.
- 1:58:08Speaker 2: Sure, three bedroom, large living room, large kitchen, about three
- 1:58:11Speaker 2: hundred and fifty dollars a month.
- 1:58:14Speaker 5: I'm texting you from the nineteen seventy job.
- 1:58:17Speaker 2: I'm an HVAC Foreman air conditioning can only achieve twenty
- 1:58:20Speaker 2: degrees below whatever the indoor temperature is. Oh, you know,
- 1:58:24Speaker 2: as the indoor temperature drops, that drops with it.
- 1:58:27Speaker 6: So if it's one hundred and three outside, it can
- 1:58:29Speaker 6: only get to eighty three in the house.
- 1:58:30Speaker 2: Yeah, because until it gets to eighty three. But then
- 1:58:32Speaker 2: once it reaches eighty three, then maybe go to sixty three. Yeah,
- 1:58:36Speaker 2: it's like you can't you can't just go from one
- 1:58:38Speaker 2: hundred to seventy two, Yeah, because then you end up
- 1:58:41Speaker 2: if you have something that's how you get your your
- 1:58:45Speaker 2: air conditioning thing freezes up. You ever see that really
- 1:58:48Speaker 2: ice forms on the outside of the whatever that thing
- 1:58:51Speaker 2: is that's outside whatever they call that thing? Is that
- 1:58:54Speaker 2: the condenser? The thing with a big fan outside?
- 1:58:57Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 1:58:57Speaker 6: Yeah, where about we were worn that we're about to
- 1:59:00Speaker 6: have to replace the entire h back in our house.
- 1:59:03Speaker 2: Yeah, it's about that time.
- 1:59:05Speaker 7: I have to do the same.
- 1:59:06Speaker 2: Yeah, we didn't do that.
- 1:59:07Speaker 7: Should we get an AC or a brand new car?
- 1:59:14Speaker 3: Show?
- 1:59:17Speaker 2: Jeff g saw this story and it's this professional poker
- 1:59:23Speaker 2: player in Vegas who got robbed. It's like he got
- 1:59:29Speaker 2: followed home.
- 1:59:31Speaker 5: About that a lot and.
- 1:59:34Speaker 7: And so here.
- 1:59:35Speaker 2: This is the guy describing what happened to him.
- 1:59:38Speaker 3: Men came around the corner from the living room and
- 1:59:41Speaker 3: immediately jumped on me. They tackled me to the ground,
- 1:59:45Speaker 3: pinned my arms behind my back, and said don't move
- 1:59:49Speaker 3: or we're.
- 1:59:49Speaker 2: Gonna q wow, they're gonna do him. Oh wait, I
- 1:59:54Speaker 2: think I think that clip was wrong.
- 1:59:55Speaker 7: Hold on.
- 1:59:57Speaker 3: Men came around the corner from the living room and
- 2:00:00Speaker 3: immediately jumped on me. They tackled me to the ground,
- 2:00:04Speaker 3: pinned my arms behind my back, and said don't move
- 2:00:07Speaker 3: or we're going to kill you.
- 2:00:09Speaker 2: I'll kill you. Yeah, sorry, okay, Yeah, the other the
- 2:00:13Speaker 2: other clip was was wrong.
- 2:00:15Speaker 5: So what is this inside job?
- 2:00:17Speaker 2: Are people just had money? He left there with a
- 2:00:20Speaker 2: backpack full of money, and they're like follow him, just regular.
- 2:00:25Speaker 5: Like regular casino winnings do this where they say go
- 2:00:27Speaker 5: to your room and I use this safe come back later.
- 2:00:31Speaker 12: I mean, sea best, you might know more than me
- 2:00:33Speaker 12: about this, but I mean, can't you go to the
- 2:00:36Speaker 12: cashier that's down there on the casino floor and just say, hey,
- 2:00:39Speaker 12: I want to cash this, hold it for me or
- 2:00:42Speaker 12: cut me a check and whatever whatever. So you don't
- 2:00:45Speaker 12: have to live in that kind of ajor.
- 2:00:47Speaker 5: Right, you can get a check, but some guys just love.
- 2:00:51Speaker 6: It's part of the addiction.
- 2:00:52Speaker 7: I'm sure I would never know. I've never won. That's
- 2:00:58Speaker 7: how that works.
- 2:00:59Speaker 5: According to the report, fifty seven grand how much he had, which.
- 2:01:02Speaker 2: Yeah, so he was able to break the duct tape
- 2:01:04Speaker 2: that they had wrapped around his hands, and he escaped
- 2:01:06Speaker 2: to his neighbor's house. And then yeah, he's over at
- 2:01:09Speaker 2: the neighbor's house and he's like, oh man, I need
- 2:01:11Speaker 2: some help and help me out here. And you could
- 2:01:14Speaker 2: see in the video he's still got like the duct
- 2:01:16Speaker 2: tape like around his wrists and stuff. Someone just broke
- 2:01:19Speaker 2: into the house across the street of me.
- 2:01:21Speaker 7: They took my phone, they took everything.
- 2:01:22Speaker 2: They tied me up.
- 2:01:23Speaker 4: I just got out.
- 2:01:23Speaker 2: Can you call nine one one if you're there, please
- 2:01:26Speaker 2: please help me.
- 2:01:28Speaker 5: So they haven't opening the door knock.
- 2:01:31Speaker 2: They haven't caught anybody. But yeah, he said he might
- 2:01:34Speaker 2: quit poker all together after all this.
- 2:01:36Speaker 5: It's like it's scared him. But again, we've heard about
- 2:01:39Speaker 5: this with banks. You know, maybe the teller has given
- 2:01:42Speaker 5: somebody your heads up. Hey, they just took fifty grand
- 2:01:45Speaker 5: and hell.
- 2:01:46Speaker 2: Yeah, are people that make the big deposits.
- 2:01:49Speaker 7: If you're the scambler guy, this poker guy, and you
- 2:01:51Speaker 7: have fifty seven grand in cash, and let's say you
- 2:01:53Speaker 7: want to treat yourself and get a car for thirty
- 2:01:56Speaker 7: five grand. You can't pay cash for stuff like that,
- 2:01:59Speaker 7: can you? Wouldn't?
- 2:01:59Speaker 5: They? Sure? But don't?
- 2:02:01Speaker 7: Why not? Wouldn't they suspect something is up?
- 2:02:04Speaker 2: Like wire?
- 2:02:06Speaker 5: You would pay?
- 2:02:06Speaker 2: And okay, you're you're five.
- 2:02:09Speaker 7: And like I told you, I was inspired by that
- 2:02:13Speaker 7: movie Blow. He had so much money he couldn't even
- 2:02:15Speaker 7: physically fit in. How could you can't go out and
- 2:02:17Speaker 7: buy a house with Hey, here's a here's my money
- 2:02:20Speaker 7: is million dollars in CA.
- 2:02:22Speaker 6: I mean, I guess if you're paying the entire thing.
- 2:02:23Speaker 5: Yeah, they'll figure it out. But it does bring up
- 2:02:26Speaker 5: some red flash. Yeah, it looks so your dad your
- 2:02:29Speaker 5: dad works, you know, for car dealers. Sure, right, Like
- 2:02:32Speaker 5: that'd be a good question for him. Like if somebody
- 2:02:34Speaker 5: walked in, like with thirty five thousand dollars in cash,
- 2:02:38Speaker 5: can you do that?
- 2:02:39Speaker 6: Let's find out.
- 2:02:39Speaker 9: I'll test it right now, Yeah, because I don't know
- 2:02:43Speaker 9: that sounds I mean, what are they even Maybe there's
- 2:02:45Speaker 9: a safe or somewhere to put it, But wouldn't you
- 2:02:47Speaker 9: be suspicious, like, are these bills real?
- 2:02:49Speaker 2: Are counterfeit?
- 2:02:50Speaker 6: But anyone who's willing to pay and like be done
- 2:02:52Speaker 6: with it? I mean, yes, they want you to finance.
- 2:02:54Speaker 5: Yeah, a salesperson will figure out how to get Yeah. Yeah,
- 2:02:57Speaker 5: of course you want to sale more than any Yeah. Yeah,
- 2:03:01Speaker 5: they're like, we'll work it out.
- 2:03:02Speaker 6: Let us know.
- 2:03:04Speaker 2: And as your dad walked in with thirty five thousand
- 2:03:06Speaker 2: dollars in cash for a car, come up, would you
- 2:03:11Speaker 2: guys accept it? Question mark? Right's see do you have
- 2:03:15Speaker 2: a guy? I do have a guy. Yeah, So you
- 2:03:17Speaker 2: hit your dad, I'll hit my friend and we'll see
- 2:03:20Speaker 2: if we back here. Yeah, I see, I would think that.
- 2:03:23Speaker 7: Seems like it would set up all kinds.
- 2:03:25Speaker 2: Of for sure, But what is the I mean, I
- 2:03:28Speaker 2: don't know. If you're the car dealer.
- 2:03:29Speaker 5: According to the old AI sorry Sammy's dad, they will.
- 2:03:34Speaker 8: They'd usually ask you to go get a cashier's check,
- 2:03:36Speaker 8: so that way the chance of fraud or counterfeiting is
- 2:03:40Speaker 8: on the bank.
- 2:03:40Speaker 7: Then, but then you go to the bank with let's
- 2:03:42Speaker 7: say thirty five grand.
- 2:03:43Speaker 6: Anything over ten thousand, they flag Yeah, yeah, did you
- 2:03:47Speaker 6: go to two banks and split it half?
- 2:03:48Speaker 5: What a second flag, Well, flag that it just needs
- 2:03:50Speaker 5: to report it to the ir but the dealership is
- 2:03:52Speaker 5: not going to want you to leave the dealership.
- 2:03:54Speaker 9: Yeah, so I guess they would accept it, but they'd
- 2:03:56Speaker 9: have to report anything over ten thousand to the government.
- 2:04:00Speaker 6: Sales, the car sales, not the bank. Everybody has to
- 2:04:04Speaker 6: report it if it's more than ten grand, is what
- 2:04:05Speaker 6: I'm hearing.
- 2:04:06Speaker 2: Yeah, cash is legal tender. Any business operating in the
- 2:04:09Speaker 2: US is required to accept cash. I don't know if
- 2:04:11Speaker 2: that's the case. Yeah, I say the same same. And
- 2:04:16Speaker 2: they have those machines there that you put your cash
- 2:04:18Speaker 2: into it it spits out a card. Yeah, like if
- 2:04:21Speaker 2: you go to if you go to like arenas for
- 2:04:24Speaker 2: games and stuff like that, because the arena it's a
- 2:04:26Speaker 2: cashless arena, and so you go. You can't pay for
- 2:04:30Speaker 2: your hot dog and your soda with cash, but you
- 2:04:33Speaker 2: can use these machines and you put the cash in
- 2:04:36Speaker 2: it and it spits the the cash card out.
- 2:04:39Speaker 6: Yeah, and chat Gibt says in the United States, most
- 2:04:42Speaker 6: private businesses are not required by federal law to accept cash.
- 2:04:46Speaker 5: Texture. That's what I think.
- 2:04:48Speaker 2: That's one of those things that you hear a lot
- 2:04:50Speaker 2: and people just but when you say it, what a
- 2:04:52Speaker 2: certain amount of authority? And when someone goes no, I'm sorry,
- 2:04:55Speaker 2: we don't accept cash and you start throwing them out there. Well,
- 2:04:57Speaker 2: did you know legal required? Yeah? Yeah, look, Austin, I
- 2:05:04Speaker 2: just work here out to make the rules. I mean,
- 2:05:06Speaker 2: do you want the latte or not?
- 2:05:08Speaker 6: Yeah, my name's not mister Starbuck.
