Latest / Podcast - Big 98.7 / This Uber Driver Wanted What...?
Transcript
- 0:02Speaker 1: I had what had to have been the coolest and
- 0:05Speaker 1: or weirdest Uber driver of all the Uber drivers. But
- 0:10Speaker 1: he was very nice and very awesome, So I want
- 0:12Speaker 1: to put that out there.
- 0:13Speaker 2: Okay, so this wasn't a bad experience you're about to share.
- 0:16Speaker 1: No, he was a cool dude, but also like kind
- 0:21Speaker 1: of so disrespectful that I almost respect it.
- 0:23Speaker 3: One of those Yeah. Okay.
- 0:25Speaker 1: So my buddy Jake, who I talk about all the
- 0:27Speaker 1: time on this show, we were playing in a golf
- 0:29Speaker 1: tournament on Sunday. Well, the night before he had got
- 0:33Speaker 1: some tickets to you know, like some towns, whatever days,
- 0:37Speaker 1: country fest days.
- 0:39Speaker 4: Oh okay, yeah, and so we go and we enjoy it.
- 0:42Speaker 1: We had a great time, and just being the responsible
- 0:45Speaker 1: adults that we are, we were like, hey, we'll just
- 0:47Speaker 1: take an uber there, take an uber back then.
- 0:49Speaker 4: No one asked to worry about it. We can both
- 0:50Speaker 4: have fun, YadA yadai.
- 0:52Speaker 3: Oh good, we stand a responsible king.
- 0:54Speaker 4: That's right.
- 0:55Speaker 1: So we get in this Uber on the way home,
- 0:57Speaker 1: and this guy's cool, like we're talkative, he's talking.
- 1:00Speaker 4: It's fine.
- 1:00Speaker 1: Right, Well, we had to get up and go to
- 1:03Speaker 1: this golf tournament the next day, so I asked him.
- 1:05Speaker 1: I was like, hey, would it be too much if
- 1:07Speaker 1: we stopped at a gas station. I want to buy
- 1:09Speaker 1: an energy drink for tomorrow morning, all right, I need
- 1:11Speaker 1: one of them celsiuses.
- 1:12Speaker 2: Yeah, hopefully not the one that accidentally had an out.
- 1:16Speaker 4: All right. He was like, oh, yeah, man, that's cool.
- 1:20Speaker 1: So we stopped, and me, just being the nice guy
- 1:23Speaker 1: that I am, I was like, well, do you need
- 1:24Speaker 1: anything in here? Assuming he was just gonna be like no, yeah,
- 1:28Speaker 1: this man said yes, and I was like, oh, well,
- 1:31Speaker 1: what do you need? And he's like, can I get
- 1:33Speaker 1: some Marlboro Reds?
- 1:35Speaker 4: Now?
- 1:35Speaker 1: I have not I don't smoke cigarettes or whatever, so
- 1:38Speaker 1: I have no clue what cigarettes cost. Marlboro Reds I
- 1:41Speaker 1: think are the most expensive.
- 1:43Speaker 3: They are.
- 1:43Speaker 2: My mom smokes Marlboro Reds, and those are pricey little fuckers.
- 1:49Speaker 1: So of course I go up to the counter, I
- 1:51Speaker 1: get what I need, and I'm like, hey, I'll take
- 1:54Speaker 1: two packs of these Marlboro Reds. So I go back
- 1:58Speaker 1: to this uber driver and you know, I'm like, oh,
- 2:00Speaker 1: he'll be all jacked. I'm surprising him with two you
- 2:02Speaker 1: know whatever.
- 2:03Speaker 3: Yeah, this guy since.
- 2:05Speaker 4: Here, he goes, well, no, I think thank you.
- 2:07Speaker 1: I appreciate it, but I don't know if I'm gonna
- 2:10Speaker 1: be able to finish all these My wife does not
- 2:12Speaker 1: want me to smoke cigarettes.
- 2:13Speaker 3: What a guy?
- 2:15Speaker 4: I just bought you forty of these things. You're not
- 2:20Speaker 4: allowed to have one.
- 2:21Speaker 3: They're gonna be in his hidden stash for a long time.
- 2:25Speaker 1: Yeah, and it all worked out well. He was a
- 2:27Speaker 1: great dude. But it was very funny.
- 2:29Speaker 3: Why are you cigarette?
- 2:31Speaker 1: No? You know?
- 2:32Speaker 3: No?
- 2:32Speaker 2: I respect it because people do those empty gestures all
- 2:37Speaker 2: the time. Do you need anything? Thinking all they're gonna
- 2:40Speaker 2: say no to and be polite. No, you shouldn't have asked,
- 2:44Speaker 2: so he just took advantage of the opportunity. Now it
- 2:47Speaker 2: was your fault, Gabe, that you wanted to go above
- 2:49Speaker 2: and beyond and get this man two packs.
- 2:51Speaker 1: It was great, it was He was very cool, but
- 2:54Speaker 1: I just I was so taken aback. I was like, well,
- 2:57Speaker 1: if you're gonna go that overboard, how can I go
- 2:59Speaker 1: more over?
- 3:00Speaker 3: Oh? I like that. Yeah, you were matching his energy
- 3:03Speaker 3: and I respect that.
- 3:04Speaker 4: Seven oh one two eight zero one nine eight seven.
- 3:06Speaker 1: Do you ever do you have like a crazy uber
- 3:08Speaker 1: or lift or whatever could be a taxi cab story
- 3:12Speaker 1: that you would want to share with us seven oh
- 3:13Speaker 1: one two eight zero one nine eight seven to this day,
- 3:17Speaker 1: I want to know what happened with these two packs
- 3:20Speaker 1: of Marlboro Reds.
- 3:21Speaker 2: I'm telling you the wife found those immediately and she said.
- 3:24Speaker 3: Get out of my house.
- 3:25Speaker 4: That's why I got a one star in Angie. What
- 3:34Speaker 4: do you have for a little victory?
- 3:35Speaker 3: No, no, I don't want to be no. I need
- 3:38Speaker 3: to hear yours first. The suspense is killing me.
- 3:41Speaker 2: My guy, what is your little victory? You golf tournament?
- 3:44Speaker 2: Playing cutie?
- 3:46Speaker 1: So the uh, the golf tournament was very successful. I
- 3:49Speaker 1: don't know if I shared much of this, but it
- 3:51Speaker 1: was for my sister's rugby team.
- 3:55Speaker 3: Oh I did not realize that.
- 3:57Speaker 1: Yeah, she is a state champion rugby player, which is
- 4:01Speaker 1: kind of, you know, maybe the most bad ace thing
- 4:03Speaker 1: I've ever heard. Yeah, a thirty thirty two year old lady.
- 4:07Speaker 1: You know, she's still out there rugbying it up or whatever.
- 4:09Speaker 1: And so this was kind of for her team and
- 4:11Speaker 1: just a collection of teams and we lost by one stroke.
- 4:16Speaker 1: There was like thirty something teams, so there was a
- 4:19Speaker 1: lot of teams and I said, hey, I think we're gonna.
- 4:22Speaker 4: Go try to win it.
- 4:22Speaker 1: And see we lost it by one stroke, which is
- 4:27Speaker 1: just kind of like a shot to the gut at
- 4:29Speaker 1: the end because we were playing well, but there were
- 4:32Speaker 1: two putts that we missed that we probably should have had,
- 4:36Speaker 1: and so we were like, hopefully those don't come back
- 4:38Speaker 1: to bite us, and of.
- 4:39Speaker 4: Course they did.
- 4:40Speaker 3: They did.
- 4:41Speaker 1: We lost by one stroke, which it was still fun
- 4:45Speaker 1: obviously because we were trying to play really well. And
- 4:47Speaker 1: then there were some people who were not a fan
- 4:49Speaker 1: of the team that got first because they only had
- 4:53Speaker 1: two players. So when you have two players and you
- 4:57Speaker 1: don't get two shots, you know what I mean, should
- 5:00Speaker 1: just get a shot now. Granted it's just for fun
- 5:03Speaker 1: and who cares, but you know, people are like, well
- 5:06Speaker 1: that's not very fair, like YadA, YadA, YadA. So either way,
- 5:08Speaker 1: it was still a lot of fun. It was a
- 5:10Speaker 1: great time. Jake is forever and always going to be
- 5:13Speaker 1: one of my best friends. So anytime I get to
- 5:15Speaker 1: just enjoy some debauchery with that type of guy, yeah,
- 5:19Speaker 1: we enjoy it. So it was it was a great time.
- 5:21Speaker 1: Sorry I wasn't here yesterday, but I am glad to
- 5:23Speaker 1: be back today.
- 5:24Speaker 3: I'm happy that you're back. That's a little victory for
- 5:27Speaker 3: me for sure that you're back.
- 5:28Speaker 2: It is so much more boring in this building with
- 5:30Speaker 2: that you Let me tell you, well, how about you, Angie.
- 5:33Speaker 2: Oh my gosh, I had the best weekend of my life,
- 5:37Speaker 2: like the best weekend in recent memory.
- 5:39Speaker 3: My older brother who for us there.
- 5:42Speaker 2: I'm one of four siblings and my dad was not
- 5:44Speaker 2: really in the picture, and so he was like the
- 5:46Speaker 2: father figure to us, and so I like really respect
- 5:49Speaker 2: him and look up to him. But also we're just
- 5:51Speaker 2: very close and we love each other when we're friends.
- 5:53Speaker 2: So he came to town with his lovely wife Jean and
- 5:57Speaker 2: my twin nephews, Theo and Caleb for visit. And this
- 6:01Speaker 2: was the first time that they were meeting my boyfriend
- 6:04Speaker 2: Mikey in person. Oh sure, So I was a little nervous.
- 6:08Speaker 2: You never know how that's gonna go. And you know,
- 6:10Speaker 2: my brother's opinion is very important to me. They clicked
- 6:13Speaker 2: right away, of course, and we went bowling, and you know,
- 6:17Speaker 2: they teamed up to try and defeat me, and so
- 6:20Speaker 2: I like, when you know I'm the common enemy, that's
- 6:23Speaker 2: fine as long as you.
- 6:24Speaker 3: Guys are getting along.
- 6:26Speaker 2: But it was just a really fun family weekend. And
- 6:30Speaker 2: I also had never been to thunder Road, so that
- 6:32Speaker 2: was exciting. Sure, and I had never played mini golf
- 6:36Speaker 2: ever in my whole life.
- 6:38Speaker 4: Really yeah, wow, robbed.
- 6:40Speaker 3: Of years of joy. What was I doing? I don't know.
- 6:44Speaker 2: I will say I did way worse at mini golf
- 6:47Speaker 2: than you did at your golf tournament.
- 6:49Speaker 3: Okay.
- 6:50Speaker 2: I ended up tied in fifth place and there were
- 6:53Speaker 2: only eight of us playing, so it was not but
- 6:56Speaker 2: it was really fun. It was just a good time
- 6:58Speaker 2: to have my my family together and everybody got along.
- 7:03Speaker 2: And I went to Rambis Guy's Pizza, which the guys
- 7:06Speaker 2: over at the Fox are all way oh yep, yeah,
- 7:08Speaker 2: doing lunch over there.
- 7:09Speaker 4: Talking about that last weekend.
- 7:11Speaker 2: Yes, I mean I really did a lot of things,
- 7:13Speaker 2: and I feel like, oh my gosh, am I a
- 7:15Speaker 2: far going, Like I'm going at thunder Road and I'm
- 7:19Speaker 2: eating at Rambis guys, I'm going to the parks around town.
- 7:23Speaker 2: Like I felt really cool and like showing my brother
- 7:27Speaker 2: around felt like, oh, yeah.
- 7:28Speaker 3: This is my city, you know.
- 7:30Speaker 1: I love that. That's awesome. Well, I'm glad you had
- 7:32Speaker 1: a great weekend. I'm glad to be back here. We
- 7:34Speaker 1: have glass animals. Well, also have the tea coming up
- 7:37Speaker 1: on Big ninety eight point seven, and we're just always
- 7:39Speaker 1: going to be known as the guys who got second
- 7:42Speaker 1: place in that golf tournament.
- 7:43Speaker 3: Okay, you're first in my heart.
- 7:48Speaker 1: And this was a conversation Angie and I were having
- 7:51Speaker 1: last week, and it's one that frequently comes on when
- 7:54Speaker 1: this song from Louve, which we play here on Big
- 7:58Speaker 1: ninety eight point seven from time to time.
- 8:00Speaker 4: Uh, you know, the I'm like meet bait when.
- 8:04Speaker 1: There is a moment in that song where he's he's
- 8:08Speaker 1: like I hate it.
- 8:09Speaker 4: He's like damn, And.
- 8:13Speaker 1: I try to look like the grossest, thirst trappiest dude
- 8:20Speaker 1: ever whenever I say that, because I know Angie hates it,
- 8:23Speaker 1: it makes her laugh. And we started talking about, well,
- 8:25Speaker 1: what is like a dude thirst trap?
- 8:27Speaker 2: Is it? Like?
- 8:28Speaker 1: Would you like if I threw a picture of me
- 8:31Speaker 1: fixing the sink? Yeah, Big ninety eight point seven, You
- 8:35Speaker 1: think that would that would do it for the ladies?
- 8:36Speaker 3: Huh? Yeah?
- 8:37Speaker 2: So I think for women the like when we post
- 8:41Speaker 2: a thirst trap.
- 8:42Speaker 3: Now I don't.
- 8:43Speaker 2: I rarely post thirst traps just because I don't have
- 8:45Speaker 2: the body for it. But like when a girl posts
- 8:48Speaker 2: a thirst trap, it's usually you know, like they're making
- 8:51Speaker 2: like a sultry face. I also don't know how to
- 8:53Speaker 2: do that right. I don't post thirst traps simply because
- 8:56Speaker 2: I don't know how. But like it's usually like a
- 9:00Speaker 2: a skimpy outfit and like a pose like poking up
- 9:03Speaker 2: the booty whatever. That's a classic thirst trap exactly for
- 9:08Speaker 2: a girl. That's like what you know we're trying to post.
- 9:11Speaker 2: But yeah, what do guys post? Because I don't think
- 9:14Speaker 2: a shirtless selfie of a dude is a thirst trap.
- 9:17Speaker 2: The will people think it might be? Yeah, I think yeah,
- 9:23Speaker 2: anything where a guy is fixing something thirst trap.
- 9:26Speaker 3: All day.
- 9:27Speaker 2: Every day you're posting a picture of yourself fixing something,
- 9:31Speaker 2: you know that you're appealing to the ladies.
- 9:34Speaker 3: Uh.
- 9:34Speaker 2: The one I really like And Mikey did this the
- 9:37Speaker 2: other day when we were mini golfing and I was like,
- 9:39Speaker 2: oh my god, you're so fine, and he I like,
- 9:43Speaker 2: when a guy has to hold something in his mouth
- 9:46Speaker 2: to fix something, like he's using his hands doing something else,
- 9:49Speaker 2: and he was like he was grabbing a golf ball
- 9:52Speaker 2: or whatever, and he had the little yellow pencil in
- 9:54Speaker 2: his mouth and I was like, oh, that's the Yeah,
- 9:56Speaker 2: take a picture of that and frame it.
- 9:57Speaker 3: I love that.
- 10:00Speaker 2: Yeah, it's hardly ever like showing a bunch of skin, right,
- 10:04Speaker 2: but that's just not the same.
- 10:05Speaker 3: It's not the saint.
- 10:07Speaker 1: Yeah well seven oh one two eight zero one nine
- 10:10Speaker 1: eight seven. We also have this up on Facebook. But
- 10:13Speaker 1: what would your ideal male thirst trap be? Is it
- 10:17Speaker 1: fixing a sink? Maybe it's just some dude hanging out
- 10:19Speaker 1: with his dog, because I got those everywhere.
- 10:22Speaker 5: Oh, first, sure that's the first trap, say's variety big
- 10:29Speaker 5: ninety eight point seven, it's Gabe and Angie, Sunshine and
- 10:32Speaker 5: eighty seven today and once in a blue moon.
- 10:35Speaker 1: I will make these at home and I go, you know,
- 10:39Speaker 1: this really brings me back to college when I you know,
- 10:41Speaker 1: you broke college kid with no oh yeah, then you're
- 10:44Speaker 1: just trying to make it till the next day you
- 10:46Speaker 1: get paid or whatever. And I had one of these
- 10:49Speaker 1: the other day and I went, you know, I wonder
- 10:51Speaker 1: if anybody else has done this?
- 10:53Speaker 4: Have you ever put an egg with your ramen?
- 10:57Speaker 2: Oh?
- 10:58Speaker 3: I don't like eggs, never liked eggs.
- 11:00Speaker 1: Also, you wouldn't like this now, No, that is my
- 11:03Speaker 1: favorite kind of like broke weaker, like cheap meal to me. Yeah,
- 11:08Speaker 1: if you know you're ever like low on money, or
- 11:09Speaker 1: when I was younger or whatever, and I had some
- 11:12Speaker 1: of the other day for lunch and I was like,
- 11:14Speaker 1: why did I stop eating this?
- 11:15Speaker 4: This is fire, I'm telling you.
- 11:17Speaker 2: Sometimes struggle meals are the most delicious meals on the planet.
- 11:22Speaker 4: Struggle struggle.
- 11:24Speaker 2: Yeah, I grew up really poor, Like I grew up
- 11:27Speaker 2: with not a lot of money at all, and so
- 11:29Speaker 2: every meal was a struggle meal.
- 11:31Speaker 3: But like, I don't know, I like them now.
- 11:33Speaker 2: I think the good old classic is cinnamon sugar toast
- 11:39Speaker 2: toasta bread, put that butter on and then cinnamon sugar boom.
- 11:43Speaker 2: That is bomb saltine crackers with butter. I mean excellent.
- 11:47Speaker 2: I still do that to this day.
- 11:49Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 11:50Speaker 1: Seven oh one two eight zero one, eight seven, or
- 11:54Speaker 1: this is up on facebook.
- 11:55Speaker 4: What is your favorite?
- 11:56Speaker 1: You know, kind of broke or if you're just being
- 11:58Speaker 1: cheap cheap, I love an egg with ramen. You know
- 12:02Speaker 1: another one that maybe you see this meme on social media.
- 12:07Speaker 1: It's you'll have tortilla chips and cheese and you're like,
- 12:11Speaker 1: just broke.
- 12:12Speaker 2: Yeah, broke nachos are the best, so good.
- 12:16Speaker 3: Let us know what your favorite is this morning?
- 12:18Speaker 1: Seven oh one two eight zero one seven, and we
- 12:27Speaker 1: have sorry, not sorry where we say the thing you're thinking,
- 12:30Speaker 1: but are too polite to say we die on the
- 12:33Speaker 1: hill of controversial opinion. You know what, so you don't
- 12:36Speaker 1: have to, Angie, What are you getting off your chest today?
- 12:40Speaker 2: Stop telling millennials to get rid of the lol at
- 12:44Speaker 2: the end of sentences.
- 12:46Speaker 3: No, that's my emotional support. LOL.
- 12:50Speaker 2: I'm tired of hearing just say what you need to say.
- 12:53Speaker 2: You don't need to add lol at the end. How
- 12:56Speaker 2: about you shut your mouth when you're talking to me.
- 12:59Speaker 2: I have to add lol or I won't say the
- 13:02Speaker 2: thing I need to say. I dare to go further
- 13:04Speaker 2: and say I can't say it without the lol. If
- 13:08Speaker 2: the message I need to convey is a little uncomfortable
- 13:11Speaker 2: or could be taken hard because you can't detect tone
- 13:14Speaker 2: over text, that lol lets the recipient know what I'm
- 13:18Speaker 2: trying to convey is I'm trying to do it gently
- 13:21Speaker 2: and not cause problems. For example, do you mind not
- 13:25Speaker 2: parking in the middle of the driveway. I can't fit
- 13:27Speaker 2: my car when you do that sounds like I'm a
- 13:29Speaker 2: little mad. Do you mind not parking in the middle
- 13:32Speaker 2: of the driveway? I can't fit my car when you
- 13:34Speaker 2: do that.
- 13:34Speaker 3: Lol.
- 13:35Speaker 2: That wasn't a funny statement. But now you know I'm
- 13:38Speaker 2: not upset with you or trying to make you feel bad.
- 13:41Speaker 2: The end of sentence, LOL will live forever. Stop trying
- 13:45Speaker 2: to take it away. It's not hurting anyone.
- 13:47Speaker 4: You're soul right, make so right.
- 13:50Speaker 1: And you know I don't use lol, but i'll for
- 13:52Speaker 1: me it's haha, yeah something. That's how I convey I'm
- 13:56Speaker 1: just having fun here exactly.
- 13:58Speaker 3: You got to soften the blow.
- 13:59Speaker 2: You got to let them know you're not taking this
- 14:01Speaker 2: too seriously. Let us have the emotional support. LOL. School
- 14:11Speaker 2: is just around the corner on Thursday, I think is
- 14:14Speaker 2: when West Fargo starts.
- 14:16Speaker 4: Yeah that's twenty first.
- 14:18Speaker 2: Yeah, and some other places in the FM area. I
- 14:20Speaker 2: know my kids their Fargo school districts, so they start
- 14:23Speaker 2: next week on Wednesday. But their teachers have revealed this
- 14:29Speaker 2: slang they expect to be hearing from students.
- 14:32Speaker 4: Oh yeah, so these are from teachers.
- 14:34Speaker 2: Teachers yeaes sing. This is what we can expect the
- 14:37Speaker 2: slang to be. So what I want to do is
- 14:41Speaker 2: give you a slang term and ask you to use
- 14:43Speaker 2: it in a sentence. Gabe, and we'll see if you're
- 14:46Speaker 2: as cool as the kids these days.
- 14:49Speaker 1: I guess we'll find out you. I mean, I had
- 14:51Speaker 1: someone in my personal life. I like to have a
- 14:53Speaker 1: little fun and use slang and yeah, day to day life.
- 14:56Speaker 1: But we'll see if it fits what the kids are saying.
- 14:59Speaker 2: Because you have a I have a fourteen year old,
- 15:02Speaker 2: so I feel like I am on the up and
- 15:04Speaker 2: up on.
- 15:04Speaker 3: These I know these.
- 15:05Speaker 4: Okay, so I might be in trouble.
- 15:07Speaker 2: All right, So if you're going to use on God
- 15:10Speaker 2: in a sentence, yeah, go ahead use it.
- 15:12Speaker 1: Oh Big ninety eight point seven is Gab and Angie
- 15:15Speaker 1: just the greatest morning show hosts on God?
- 15:19Speaker 2: Yeah? On God? That means it's like true absolutely swear
- 15:23Speaker 2: to God essentially. Yeah, yeah, no cap, which is not
- 15:26Speaker 2: on this list. All right, how about lower lower Yeah.
- 15:32Speaker 1: I feel like I only know how to use that
- 15:34Speaker 1: in regular sentence. I don't know how the.
- 15:36Speaker 3: Care example go. We'll give me an example.
- 15:39Speaker 1: Uh, like I love the lore of Game of Thrones.
- 15:44Speaker 2: Okay, yeah, that is more in the traditional sense, but
- 15:47Speaker 2: lore basically just the backstory for like a person like
- 15:51Speaker 2: oh tell, So my kids this weekend were like, okay,
- 15:55Speaker 2: well tell me the lore on how Uncle Christ and
- 15:58Speaker 2: Anti Gene met, which is just give.
- 16:01Speaker 3: Me the story on how they met.
- 16:02Speaker 2: So it's yeah, the lore can just be used about
- 16:04Speaker 2: regular old people. I have not heard this one. Cinema.
- 16:10Speaker 2: Cinema yeah, so like film.
- 16:14Speaker 3: Maybe Okay, don't have a sentence for this.
- 16:16Speaker 1: I will try. Last night we were at that party.
- 16:20Speaker 1: It was like cinema.
- 16:21Speaker 2: Okay, yes, good, yeah, cinema. It refers to something that's
- 16:25Speaker 2: like hide. Well yeah, depending on how the party was.
- 16:28Speaker 2: High drama are incredibly messy. Maybe we would have said
- 16:32Speaker 2: like epic or something similar, but yeah, it was cinema.
- 16:36Speaker 2: I think we also used to say it's a movie.
- 16:39Speaker 2: It was a movie.
- 16:40Speaker 3: Last night was a.
- 16:41Speaker 1: Movie which there is nothing more funny than you see
- 16:44Speaker 1: three dudes in Vegas with their polos on. Yeah, I'm
- 16:47Speaker 1: going Vegas couldn't handle us. It was a movie last night.
- 16:50Speaker 1: I promise you Vegas has seen three dudes go gamble
- 16:54Speaker 1: forty bucks. Okay, it wasn't that crazy.
- 16:59Speaker 2: Well, these days cinema main character energy, main character energy.
- 17:05Speaker 4: Isn't that just like someone who has a lot of aura?
- 17:08Speaker 3: Oh my gosh, yes, you're correct.
- 17:11Speaker 2: Yeah, well, someone who thinks of themselves as the star
- 17:14Speaker 2: of the show. But sometimes people take like, Okay, calm down,
- 17:18Speaker 2: you don't have main character energy.
- 17:20Speaker 3: They're gonna be using it to call out people.
- 17:22Speaker 4: Oh so it's almost like an insult.
- 17:24Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 17:24Speaker 2: And then my favorite because I relate to this, Okay,
- 17:28Speaker 2: big back, big back.
- 17:31Speaker 4: Yeah, I only know that because of you.
- 17:34Speaker 1: But it's big back is if you're like hot, like
- 17:37Speaker 1: I don't know, eating a bunch of food, yeah, my
- 17:40Speaker 1: big back meal.
- 17:41Speaker 2: Here, yes, and big back activities. So if they're always
- 17:45Speaker 2: raiding the pantry, it's like, oh yeah, I'm gonna get my.
- 17:48Speaker 3: Big back up.
- 17:57Speaker 1: Earlier this month, there were some firefighters that rested a
- 18:00Speaker 1: German shepherd dog named Bella after she fell into a canal.
- 18:05Speaker 3: Oh my god, all right.
- 18:06Speaker 4: The crew pulled her.
- 18:07Speaker 1: To safety, gave her food and water, and later had
- 18:09Speaker 1: her scanned for a micro chip which linked her back
- 18:13Speaker 1: to this animal care and adoption shelter.
- 18:16Speaker 4: Right well.
- 18:16Speaker 1: Police discovered Bella had once been adopted by the Nicholson
- 18:21Speaker 1: family and they are from Saint Cloud. The family says
- 18:25Speaker 1: that years earlier, after a house fire, it forced them
- 18:28Speaker 1: into temporary housing, where they left Bella with a friend who.
- 18:32Speaker 4: Gave her away without their permission.
- 18:35Speaker 3: Right, that's a bad friend.
- 18:37Speaker 1: Terrible friend. Well, eventually they moved to central Florida and
- 18:40Speaker 1: thought they would never see her again. Well, the Nicholsons
- 18:44Speaker 1: just drove four hours to reunite with Bella, where she
- 18:48Speaker 1: immediately recognized. Lisa and Jason, along with their two daughters.
- 18:53Speaker 1: They celebrated their reunion, bringing Bella new toys, a steak dinner,
- 18:57Speaker 1: and a new dog bed. Lisa described being reunited with
- 19:01Speaker 1: their long lost pup as making their family feel whole again.
- 19:04Speaker 2: So this is my favorite. I mean chills when you
- 19:08Speaker 2: re oh my god, this is so nice.
- 19:10Speaker 3: I love this.
- 19:10Speaker 1: Yeah. What gives away a dog a bad person?
- 19:15Speaker 4: Permit? That's insane work.
- 19:17Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 19:17Speaker 1: To know that they are reunited and their family as
- 19:19Speaker 1: whole again is, you know, just a nice, wonderful feeling
- 19:22Speaker 1: the world's full of nice people. If you can't find one,
- 19:25Speaker 1: you gotta be one.
- 19:26Speaker 3: Here we go
