Rolleston is on the brink of massive change as the Carter Group eyes a fast-tracked rezoning of farmland for over 3,000 new homes under the James Gammack Residential Development. The land, owned by the James Gammack Charitable Trust since the early 1900s, could be sold to fund the purchase of new farmland — boosting scholarships for Lincoln and Canterbury students and supporting Christchurch libraries.
