- 0:43Speaker 1: do it. Let's look at the countdown clock which is
- 0:47Speaker 1: now setting it nine days now. Granted, this is nine
- 0:51Speaker 1: days for going into that August research, which is what
- 0:54Speaker 1: everybody's been pointing at. You look at that, and then
- 0:57Speaker 1: of course we'll also go to a clip and this
- 1:00Speaker 1: clip is how the Senate is now scrambling to deal
- 1:04Speaker 1: with everything that's happening. Take a look, a growing number
- 1:07Speaker 1: of Senate Republicans are pushing to delay or cancel their
- 1:12Speaker 1: August recess.
- 1:13Speaker 2: Let me appeal for each one of you listening to this.
- 1:17Speaker 2: We need your help. We the people calling one hundred
- 1:20Speaker 2: senators and tell them to come back. We can't individually
- 1:24Speaker 2: do it ourselves or as a group. We need every
- 1:27Speaker 2: American to get on the phone, text, call your senators
- 1:32Speaker 2: to get them back up here and do the job.
- 1:34Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:34Speaker 4: Look, I am happy to stay as long as it
- 1:37Speaker 4: takes to get our job done.
- 1:39Speaker 1: Why do you want the US Senate to stay in town?
- 1:41Speaker 1: Shouldn't they be out of respect?
- 1:43Speaker 4: Why?
- 1:43Speaker 5: What a stupid question for you to ask?
- 1:46Speaker 2: What a stupid question for?
- 1:47Speaker 5: Jennifer asks that your stupid ess a spun reason they
- 1:50Speaker 5: shouldn't leave town. We have some Republicans and I will
- 1:55Speaker 5: not comment on a few of them, probably for I'd
- 1:59Speaker 5: like to comment on them, but I have too much sense.
- 2:02Speaker 4: To do it.
- 2:03Speaker 6: Well, first off, I mean, we're going to do Russia sanctions,
- 2:05Speaker 6: and that's a tribute to Lindsay Graham, who well are
- 2:08Speaker 6: going to commemorate tomorrow. I think we'll get that done.
- 2:13Speaker 2: Look, I mean no disrespect, I love Jonathan, he's better
- 2:18Speaker 2: looking than me.
- 2:19Speaker 6: But I think there's also a there's a package of nominations.
- 2:22Speaker 6: It's about seventy four noms at the presence put forward
- 2:25Speaker 6: that we've now we're moving him in block will do that.
- 2:28Speaker 6: We will probably have a vote on the Clarity Act,
- 2:30Speaker 6: which is the Digital Assets bill legislation that's in front
- 2:34Speaker 6: of the Senate. We'll see if the Democrats give us
- 2:35Speaker 6: the votes to get on that.
- 2:37Speaker 4: For any members of the audience that are interested in
- 2:39Speaker 4: reaching out to their senators, I wondered if you had
- 2:42Speaker 4: any specific names you wanted to drop up Democrats that
- 2:45Speaker 4: seem like they would be movable.
- 2:47Speaker 2: Also Brooks, Diego, Warner, Warnock, Jillibrand, I think any of
- 2:53Speaker 2: those eighteen senators that voted before. I think our fair
- 2:57Speaker 2: game targets again.
- 3:00Speaker 1: All right, So you guys heard that right there from
- 3:03Speaker 1: Fun He's saying he's going to get to the floor
- 3:04Speaker 1: with this. So I know that there's been a lot
- 3:07Speaker 1: of you know, exposure out there right now saying no,
- 3:10Speaker 1: it's going to get killed, and it's getting pushed back.
- 3:13Speaker 1: For Russish sanctions and all this kind of bs. You guys,
- 3:16Speaker 1: remember we had the blockchain associated on Association on yesterday.
- 3:19Speaker 1: All I want you to do is visit Clarity for
- 3:22Speaker 1: America dot Com. Now this is going to get you
- 3:24Speaker 1: to this page where you whether you're a business or
- 3:26Speaker 1: an individual doesn't matter. You can just click which one
- 3:29Speaker 1: you are and then of course go fill out tell
- 3:31Speaker 1: them everything you want, and you want them all. You
- 3:33Speaker 1: want clarity, you want consumer protection, you want access to banking,
- 3:37Speaker 1: freedom to build, you want developer protection, and US competitiveness
- 3:42Speaker 1: for jobs, you and all that stuff. Guys, go out
- 3:44Speaker 1: there and it's going to build an email for you,
- 3:46Speaker 1: and then you can go in and even select the
- 3:49Speaker 1: level you want, put in passionate and heartfelt.
- 3:52Speaker 4: Boom.
- 3:53Speaker 1: It's that simple, and then generate lettl letter or your
- 3:56Speaker 1: letter and it's going to go an email of course
- 3:58Speaker 1: right out there to your center. And of course that's
- 3:59Speaker 1: the is to dry to get them to stay, get
- 4:02Speaker 1: these things done, and I think that will start to
- 4:05Speaker 1: move the ball. If you look at some other things
- 4:07Speaker 1: that have indicated to this. This is Ted Billows says,
- 4:10Speaker 1: I covered this in my substack article. Clarity Act faces
- 4:13Speaker 1: another delay Senate of course, media focused remains on nominations.
- 4:16Speaker 1: This is the point we're getting at around sanctions bill
- 4:20Speaker 1: with Russia leaving the room for crypto legislation until next week.
- 4:23Speaker 1: I still think Thun played the card and he believes
- 4:27Speaker 1: that it's going to go to the floor of the Senate.
- 4:30Speaker 1: If that is the case, then these The thing is
- 4:33Speaker 1: is that banks are probably behind this. They want you
- 4:36Speaker 1: to think you're beaten. That is not the case. Guys,
- 4:38Speaker 1: Just reach out and let your senators know. All right,
- 4:42Speaker 1: So I wanted to go to a tweet here. Dan
- 4:44Speaker 1: kind of agrees with us here headlines entirely made up,
- 4:47Speaker 1: mainly designed to manipulate. But if you look at the
- 4:50Speaker 1: reasons the Senate is prioritizing nominations and the Russia sanctions
- 4:54Speaker 1: build first, these are both easily passable. Even saw Thune
- 4:58Speaker 1: earlier in the clip say, they were pretty much all
- 5:01Speaker 1: bipartisan on this of getting the nominations and the Russian
- 5:04Speaker 1: sanctions done, Meaning it's going to be fast, it's going
- 5:06Speaker 1: to be done, And I think that means there's still
- 5:09Speaker 1: possibility for clarity to make its way through. You look
- 5:12Speaker 1: at this right here, Brendan Peterson, This, of course punch
- 5:15Speaker 1: bowl news. He hits on it right here, acknowledged bank
- 5:18Speaker 1: lobbying impact. There's a lot of swirl around it on
- 5:20Speaker 1: yield some of the things that the banks care deeply about.
- 5:23Speaker 1: So this is still being talked about now, and this
- 5:28Speaker 1: only reinforces the whole point of that maybe the banks
- 5:31Speaker 1: are behind this. And then of course you have Gayego
- 5:33Speaker 1: coming in here saying, hey, we're going to go ahead
- 5:35Speaker 1: and send the bipartisan texts to the White House in
- 5:38Speaker 1: the next couple of days. These are senators that we've
- 5:41Speaker 1: already talked about that have said that they may not
- 5:43Speaker 1: necessarily be on board. Maybe they are on board now,
- 5:46Speaker 1: and maybe when I've talked to Kristen, I've talked to
- 5:50Speaker 1: a handful of other people in DC, all of which
- 5:53Speaker 1: have been pointing to there may be more support here
- 5:56Speaker 1: than what meets the eye. So just pay attention, guys,
- 6:00Speaker 1: this is happening right now in front of us. Here's
- 6:02Speaker 1: a clip around Elizabeth Warren and she actually it's around
- 6:06Speaker 1: her retweets, I should say, And all of this is
- 6:08Speaker 1: boiling down to ethics. Take a look.
- 6:11Speaker 3: They lost almost everything they had invested, and I'm gonna
- 6:17Speaker 3: play for you now one of their stories, if we
- 6:20Speaker 3: can do.
- 6:20Speaker 4: It, so we did a few days. He announced that
- 6:25Speaker 4: Milana will we see her own projects, so I bought
- 6:29Speaker 4: that as well. I trusted Trump. Both of these were
- 6:33Speaker 4: legitimate projects. We did a few days. They lost about
- 6:36Speaker 4: ten dollars on the Trump coin and dollars on the Blogna.
- 6:41Speaker 4: I couldn't believe it. I can't believe something like this
- 6:44Speaker 4: would happen. Now.
- 6:48Speaker 3: If there is one picture you take away from this forum,
- 6:55Speaker 3: this should be it.
- 6:56Speaker 1: If you look at that, guys. And I'm not discrediting
- 6:59Speaker 1: any investor out there, but I'm just thinking that why
- 7:03Speaker 1: go out and invest in meme coins like that? That's
- 7:05Speaker 1: just something that I think any real serious investor is
- 7:09Speaker 1: not doing. I don't think I would even want my
- 7:12Speaker 1: face associated with that. But that's the point, is that
- 7:15Speaker 1: it just makes no sense at all. And other things
- 7:19Speaker 1: that make no sense is the fact that we see
- 7:21Speaker 1: now Democrats coming out all over the place saying, oh, yeah,
- 7:24Speaker 1: we've got problems in the Clarity Act and all of
- 7:27Speaker 1: this issue. Well, this is a reference to Jeff Merkley,
- 7:30Speaker 1: who really has no bearing whatsoever. This guy is just
- 7:33Speaker 1: trying to win a race and stopping Trump's crypto corruption
- 7:38Speaker 1: is just his way of getting out in front of
- 7:40Speaker 1: the news again and possibly getting on with being able
- 7:43Speaker 1: to win his own race. And I think that's the
- 7:45Speaker 1: point that we are dealing with right now. There's a
- 7:47Speaker 1: lot of Democrats that are going in that direction. One
- 7:50Speaker 1: point though, to remember is like this Jeff Merkley guy,
- 7:53Speaker 1: he's not one of the eighteen that really matter for
- 7:56Speaker 1: being able to get this cross line because there's gonna
- 7:58Speaker 1: be a certain number of ooks that just don't care.
- 8:00Speaker 1: We need sixty. These are very key and critical votes
- 8:04Speaker 1: that I think are the ones that we've talked about.
- 8:06Speaker 1: You saw the list earlier flash on screen. We even
- 8:08Speaker 1: asked Kristen that the other day when she was on
- 8:11Speaker 1: the show. And you guys know who they are. Go
- 8:14Speaker 1: back and you can rewind the list is right there.
- 8:17Speaker 1: Get in there if they're in your area, that's what
- 8:20Speaker 1: you need to do in terms of reaching out to them.
- 8:22Speaker 1: All right, So let me go to another one that
- 8:24Speaker 1: could be another chess piece of how the banks are
- 8:28Speaker 1: trying to get this across the line in a way
- 8:30Speaker 1: of not passing it, and that is is New York
- 8:32Speaker 1: Attorney General Latisia James. She's been on our record here
- 8:35Speaker 1: about investigating crypto scans, protecting against fraud. The way to
- 8:39Speaker 1: get this protected against all these kind of things is
- 8:41Speaker 1: actually get clarity in rules made. Let's not forget you know,
- 8:45Speaker 1: she has been against other things out there within the
- 8:48Speaker 1: crypto market, including claiming that eth is a security. That's
- 8:52Speaker 1: the kind of craziness that we are dealing with. So
- 8:54Speaker 1: when you look at this tweet right here, well that's
- 8:56Speaker 1: none of them, Jamie Diamond and of course what is
- 8:58Speaker 1: he doing, Well, he's now token igh JP Morgan. That
- 9:01Speaker 1: of course is a security being built on Guess what, well,
- 9:04Speaker 1: I guess maybe a security. According to Letitia James, the
- 9:08Speaker 1: point is ethereum is part of why the innovation is
- 9:11Speaker 1: starting to happen, and this is just a matter of time, guys,
- 9:14Speaker 1: before all of this comes together. One thing that did happen,
- 9:17Speaker 1: I guess for the banks was this whole idea of
- 9:20Speaker 1: deregulating the bank bill. This of course being pushed by
- 9:24Speaker 1: the ABA, and that of course pretty much lets the
- 9:27Speaker 1: bank run wild in terms of what they want to
- 9:30Speaker 1: do in terms of around innovation. So when you think
- 9:33Speaker 1: about that, look at this right here. This was a
- 9:35Speaker 1: press release they just released this last week, and that
- 9:39Speaker 1: was in reference to safeguards on proposed payment accounts. Let's
- 9:42Speaker 1: just remember that targets Ripple. They're trying to maintain key safeguards.
- 9:47Speaker 1: This is the way they worded it, including a proposal
- 9:49Speaker 1: including prohibitions on interest payments, daylight, credit discount, window excess,
- 9:54Speaker 1: and even FED access. Furthermore, if you go further into
- 9:58Speaker 1: the press release, it says the Associateation said legal eligibility
- 10:02Speaker 1: alone should not guarantee access to payment account and emphasize
- 10:05Speaker 1: that the Federal Reserve must continue to evaluate applicants risk profiles.
- 10:11Speaker 1: So we're back to reputational risk here, which has been
- 10:14Speaker 1: something we've gone past for quite a while. Governance structures
- 10:17Speaker 1: and supervisory oversight would be in play, simply meaning they're
- 10:21Speaker 1: going to go out and put some pressure on Ripple.
- 10:24Speaker 1: And of course there's a good reason why. When you
- 10:26Speaker 1: go look at this headline right here, meet Ripple Mint.
- 10:28Speaker 1: There's a couple of key things here. This is a
- 10:30Speaker 1: unified way for guests what institutions to access Mint redeem
- 10:34Speaker 1: and manage all of this on RLUSD and further into that,
- 10:39Speaker 1: Ripple Mint institutions now can Mint redeem URLUSD from the
- 10:42Speaker 1: source bridge, they can track funds and also integrate. So
- 10:46Speaker 1: this is the point that I'm getting at. We are
- 10:49Speaker 1: continuing to see what the banks are really afraid of.
- 10:52Speaker 1: All of this is now coming to a head, and
- 10:55Speaker 1: Clarity is part of that. This is why Goldman is
- 10:58Speaker 1: breaking away. Watch this clip.
- 11:01Speaker 7: You know, GOLDBA SAX CEO David Solomon broke away from
- 11:04Speaker 7: the majority of the banks as he is now heaping
- 11:07Speaker 7: praise on Clarity. He told Politico that the legislation's not perfect,
- 11:11Speaker 7: but it creates an even playing field. Here's what he said.
- 11:14Speaker 7: In part of them very supportive of moving to Clarity
- 11:15Speaker 7: Act forward so we can get some market structure in
- 11:18Speaker 7: place and start to move the innovation process along. For Yer,
- 11:20Speaker 7: do you foresee a moment where other bank CEOs get
- 11:26Speaker 7: on board with Clarity?
- 11:27Speaker 4: All right?
- 11:27Speaker 1: So absolutely, I don't think any other bank official, or
- 11:30Speaker 1: at least not the major banks are going to jump
- 11:32Speaker 1: on on the retail side. When you look at Blackrock,
- 11:36Speaker 1: which is really not officially a bank, but they are
- 11:38Speaker 1: officially on board. You've got Charles Swab and this Fidelity
- 11:42Speaker 1: in this Goldman in here, all back in Clarity. But
- 11:44Speaker 1: I think the reason that all of this has been
- 11:46Speaker 1: built and really kind of constructed in the shadows is simple.
- 11:52Speaker 1: The banks are trying to catch up to what Ripple
- 11:55Speaker 1: is doing. One point I want to hit on right
- 11:57Speaker 1: here of why black Rock, Goldman and Charles Schwab these
- 12:02Speaker 1: are so important and there's a reason here, guys, if
- 12:05Speaker 1: you look at some of the things that we are
- 12:07Speaker 1: seeing around Capital Trades, which is where the Senate, the
- 12:11Speaker 1: Senate actually invests. Let's go over to the look at
- 12:13Speaker 1: that list right there. There's the big list right here.
- 12:15Speaker 1: You guys, go over to Capitoltrades dot com. You can
- 12:17Speaker 1: pull this up yourself right there. Goldman, Sachs, Golmen, Sacks, Blackrock, Blackrock, Goldman, Sachs.
- 12:22Speaker 1: I mean, it's just laid in there. So what you've
- 12:25Speaker 1: got is thirty eight politicians deep in the throes of
- 12:29Speaker 1: finance around the banking industry, which is going down to
- 12:34Speaker 1: the point where now we get clearance from some of
- 12:36Speaker 1: these banks, maybe some of those yeses are coming in now.
- 12:40Speaker 1: Senator Lamas thinks that that is the case. Bing bank
- 12:43Speaker 1: lobby has been trying to say that all of Wall
- 12:44Speaker 1: Street is opposed to Clarity Act, completely false. Right there,
- 12:48Speaker 1: The support is now growing, and you know she has
- 12:51Speaker 1: not put a list of the banks out in a
- 12:54Speaker 1: public tweet, So this may be an indicator that we
- 12:58Speaker 1: finally have the go ahead from certain banking support to
- 13:02Speaker 1: sway some of these Senate votes, which is what we
- 13:05Speaker 1: need to get those seven votes across the line. One
- 13:08Speaker 1: last note is when you compare these banks in support
- 13:11Speaker 1: of clarity, most of these are more investment strategy and
- 13:15Speaker 1: or even so far in the sense of a neobank,
- 13:18Speaker 1: But in comparison to say JP Morgan, who makes all
- 13:21Speaker 1: their money based on you the depositor. So that's the
- 13:24Speaker 1: difference if you're an investor, a little different because fees
- 13:26Speaker 1: are coming out of different markets and different pools, and
- 13:29Speaker 1: that's why I think you're seeing this kind of shift
- 13:31Speaker 1: happening right now. Let's go over to Russia, which is
- 13:34Speaker 1: preparing to launch regulated crypto training on September one. But
- 13:38Speaker 1: let's just be aware, guys that this is really only
- 13:41Speaker 1: for the oligarchs. That's what it boils down to. It's
- 13:44Speaker 1: just Russia doing Russia things. This is not something that
- 13:48Speaker 1: is outpacing what's happening here in the US. This is
- 13:50Speaker 1: simply Russia always being selective and allowing their oligarchs to
- 13:56Speaker 1: continue to get a leg up on everybody else in Russia,
- 13:58Speaker 1: which is the terrible part of this. Now, the last
- 14:00Speaker 1: point I want to hit on is this right here,
- 14:03Speaker 1: and this scares me a little bit. This was news
- 14:06Speaker 1: that Schumer had sent two White House or two names
- 14:09Speaker 1: over to the White House, both for this SEC and
- 14:12Speaker 1: the CFTC. Now I want you to look at here.
- 14:14Speaker 1: The nominees' identities remain unclear. Nobody wants any of these
- 14:19Speaker 1: nominees to get flamed before they get a fair chance.
- 14:23Speaker 1: Now what in your opinion, what names would get flamed
- 14:29Speaker 1: before they get a fair chance. What names would you
- 14:31Speaker 1: worry about? The only ones I can think of. One
- 14:33Speaker 1: of the ones I should say is Gary Gensler. Is
- 14:36Speaker 1: Gary Ginsler possibly being put up as a potential bargaining
- 14:43Speaker 1: chip of all of this playing in the background. Man,
- 14:46Speaker 1: if that comes together and we have Gensler back either
- 14:49Speaker 1: at the SEC or at the CFTC. Remember he's got
- 14:52Speaker 1: legs over there as well, this could change the dynamic,
- 14:56Speaker 1: especially if we don't get clarity. He is going to
- 14:59Speaker 1: be coming and taking names for sure. So we're gonna
- 15:02Speaker 1: watch this very close to Guys, this gets a little
- 15:05Speaker 1: bit weird. If you like this video, h like and subscribe,
