- 0:00Speaker 1: For a very long time. I like to get out
- 0:03Speaker 1: early and vote. People are like, well, it just could
- 0:05Speaker 1: be more cheating. It's legal. It doesn't matter. There is no,
- 0:09Speaker 1: no more cheating. If you just allow them to show up,
- 0:12Speaker 1: because how many times on election day has it become
- 0:16Speaker 1: a gully washer? It just rains like crazy. The weather's horrible.
- 0:20Speaker 1: There's tornadoes. Ballots end up not being, do you guys
- 0:24Speaker 1: remember what happened in 22 or was it 23? When
- 0:27Speaker 1: we had an election in Harris County in 27 of
- 0:30Speaker 1: the Republican-leaning precincts, districts, ran out of ballot paper, and
- 0:34Speaker 1: then they couldn't get their votes in, had to go
- 0:36Speaker 1: to different areas to vote. And how many hundreds of
- 0:38Speaker 1: thousands of Republican turnout votes got lost, didn't end up
- 0:43Speaker 1: voting because of that? Well, that was just one of
- 0:45Speaker 1: the methods of the dirtbag Democrats. Harris County back when
- 0:50Speaker 1: they had the elections administrator. They hired some guy to
- 0:53Speaker 1: provide the precincts with ballot paper and 27 of them,
- 0:59Speaker 1: I do believe, ran out and he was working his
- 1:02Speaker 1: other full-time job. So he didn't even answer his phone
- 1:05Speaker 1: until like after 5 p.m. So that kind of stuff
- 1:08Speaker 1: can happen. So I like to early vote. Plus, if
- 1:14Speaker 1: there's an issue, which I've never had, but if for
- 1:16Speaker 1: some reason you've got to bring your ID here in Texas,
- 1:19Speaker 1: we actually have voter ID. So if you bring your ID, whatever,
- 1:23Speaker 1: if there's an issue, you have plenty of time to
- 1:25Speaker 1: get it corrected so you can still get your vote in.
- 1:28Speaker 1: So anyway, that's why I'm an early voter, and I
- 1:31Speaker 1: just don't quite understand this being glued to Election Day.
- 1:34Speaker 1: I mean, I know holding on to the past and
- 1:37Speaker 1: wanting things to be the way they used to be,
- 1:39Speaker 1: but that's not how it is right now. So until
- 1:41Speaker 1: that is the law, I'm going to early vote like
- 1:44Speaker 1: a mofo. Can I say early vote like a mofo, Cash?
- 1:48Speaker 1: Can I say that on the radio?
- 1:50Speaker 2: That's twice so far, so yes.
- 1:52Speaker 3: Okay.
- 1:52Speaker 1: I guess the answer is yes. So I will early vote.
- 1:58Speaker 1: Until then. Also, by the way, it is, you know,
- 2:01Speaker 1: Taco 2 for Tuesday. Somebody go get some tacos.
- 2:04Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 2:05Speaker 1: You know, I was planning on giving away one ticket
- 2:08Speaker 1: to Wings Over Houston today. But you know what, Cash?
- 2:11Speaker 1: Since it's 2 for Tuesday, I'm going to give away
- 2:13Speaker 1: a pair of tickets to Wings Over Houston. What do
- 2:15Speaker 1: you think about that?
- 2:16Speaker 3: Oh, my God.
- 2:19Speaker 1: Oh, my God. So sometime between now and the end
- 2:23Speaker 1: of the show, keep listening and you'll get a chance
- 2:26Speaker 1: to win a pair. That's right. Two tickets to Wings
- 2:30Speaker 1: over Houston. We're going to do this today and probably
- 2:33Speaker 1: tomorrow or Thursday, either one. But we gave away a
- 2:36Speaker 1: pair yesterday. We'll give another pair a call in, give
- 2:39Speaker 1: Cash your info, and then he can get everything sent
- 2:42Speaker 1: to you or Gregster can get everything sent to you.
- 2:46Speaker 1: But so there you go. Wings of Reason. These tickets
- 2:48Speaker 1: are a hot item, by the way. So don't call
- 2:51Speaker 1: in now. Wait till later. I'll tell you when. All right.
- 2:55Speaker 1: So and once again, don't forget, Matt Locke, the voice
- 2:57Speaker 1: of DFW, will join us. He is the host of
- 2:59Speaker 1: the 9 to 11 a.m. show on WBAP up in Dallas.
- 3:03Speaker 1: A blowtorch. I would give him garbage because I'm the
- 3:06Speaker 1: voice of Texas. And he's the voice of DFW, so
- 3:09Speaker 1: I'd say we have priority. Well, we've been here longer
- 3:12Speaker 1: than him. But WBAP is a blowtorch of a signal.
- 3:17Speaker 1: When I'm driving up to the Hill Country, when I'm
- 3:19Speaker 1: going around Austin, I'm listening to WBAP, and I'll listen
- 3:22Speaker 1: to Matt Locke when I'm driving up. That's how powerful
- 3:26Speaker 1: their signal is. So pretty good signal, to say the least.
- 3:31Speaker 1: All right, so let's give a rundown of what we
- 3:32Speaker 1: got in line for the show today. So much, Harris
- 3:35Speaker 1: County shattered its early voting record on day one with 104,734
- 3:38Speaker 1: ballots cast by 8 p.m. last night, blowing the previous
- 3:40Speaker 1: record of 63,000 votes out of the water set during
- 3:42Speaker 1: the 2018 midterms.
- 3:43Speaker 5: Man.
- 3:57Speaker 1: It looks like a presidential turnout is what they're saying
- 4:01Speaker 1: after day one. We'll see how today is. Anybody going
- 4:04Speaker 1: and voting today? Did anybody get out and vote today?
- 4:07Speaker 1: I'll get you guys to call in here later. If
- 4:09Speaker 1: you want to call in, let Cash know. Did you
- 4:12Speaker 1: wait in line? There were lines yesterday. But I did
- 4:14Speaker 1: talk to a few people who got in and out
- 4:16Speaker 1: in five minutes. Didn't have any issues voting at all. So...
- 4:21Speaker 1: By the way, did you see Christina Applegate, actress? She
- 4:24Speaker 1: said she was misdiagnosed and doesn't have MS now. So
- 4:28Speaker 1: why was she in a wheelchair and she got very
- 4:31Speaker 1: fat looking, which, once again, she's got something. I guess
- 4:35Speaker 1: it's not MS, but You wonder why people lose their
- 4:40Speaker 1: faith in the medical industry. Anyway, so lines stretched out
- 4:45Speaker 1: the door at polling sites across the county yesterday. The
- 4:47Speaker 1: Richard and Meg Weekly Community Center led all 75 locations
- 4:51Speaker 1: with 3,153 votes cast by 6 p.m. yesterday. Election officials
- 4:57Speaker 1: reminded voters to check nearby polling locations. As wait times
- 5:01Speaker 1: varied by site, depending on where you went. Harris County
- 5:04Speaker 1: has 75 early voting locations available. And officials say that
- 5:08Speaker 1: operations ran smoothly on day one. No issues. In fact,
- 5:12Speaker 1: I didn't see any issues whatsoever. So once again, early
- 5:16Speaker 1: voting runs for what, 11 more days? Oh, I said
- 5:18Speaker 1: nine earlier. I was wrong. It's 11 more days. And
- 5:21Speaker 1: officials encourage voters to plan ahead, take advantage of less
- 5:24Speaker 1: crowded sites when possible. I believe that the massive turnout
- 5:29Speaker 1: will trail off as early voting continues. Usually the first
- 5:32Speaker 1: day gets a pretty good pop, but then after that
- 5:36Speaker 1: tends to slow down a little bit. So it'll be
- 5:40Speaker 1: interesting to see how this plays out. I'll be interested
- 5:42Speaker 1: to look at the numbers from today, see how it
- 5:44Speaker 1: compares with yesterday with roughly 105,000 votes cast by around
- 5:46Speaker 1: 8 p.m. I saw one thing said 106,000. Still, it
- 5:54Speaker 1: could not have blown past the record of 63,000 back
- 5:58Speaker 1: from 2018. Yeah, back in that 2022 election, I do believe.
- 6:03Speaker 1: I don't think the record wasn't there because was it 17? No,
- 6:08Speaker 1: 27 voting precincts ran out of ballot paper. God, those
- 6:12Speaker 1: Democrats are nefarious. But where's the cheating? Oh, no, they're
- 6:17Speaker 1: just that inept. That's why we need to put them
- 6:19Speaker 1: in charge. They're so inept they can't provide precincts with paper. Yeah,
- 6:24Speaker 1: that was what the highly regarded election administrators did. That's
- 6:30Speaker 1: how great of a job they did. President Trump has
- 6:34Speaker 1: announced $ 8 billion in relief to help farmers with high
- 6:39Speaker 1: diesel costs. That's coming at a good time. He said
- 6:43Speaker 1: the farmers across the U.S. will soon get relief from
- 6:46Speaker 1: the price of diesel during his rally near Wichita, Kansas
- 6:50Speaker 1: last night, according to CBS News. He spoke to a
- 6:54Speaker 1: packed crowd up there. By the way, I finally saw
- 6:56Speaker 1: some pictures of Governor Abbott yesterday at Clay's restaurant over on...
- 7:01Speaker 1: What is it? Clay Road just west of Highway 6.
- 7:04Speaker 1: So I saw some pictures. I saw Aliza Dutt. Saw her.
- 7:09Speaker 1: She was there. So she was over in that area.
- 7:14Speaker 1: She had some pictures, which was pretty cool. But there was, man,
- 7:18Speaker 1: that was a packed house. That's a good sign as well.
- 7:24Speaker 1: By the way, President Trump also this afternoon, he did
- 7:27Speaker 1: a presser in the Oval Office. and announce the Fraud
- 7:32Speaker 1: Whistleblowers Incentive Program, which means if you're an independent journalist,
- 7:36Speaker 1: you discover fraud, you may get paid a percentage of
- 7:39Speaker 1: that fraud amount if it comes to fruition. if it
- 7:43Speaker 1: proves to be true. This is purely in response to
- 7:46Speaker 1: California's Stop Nick Shirley Act, which simply wants to prevent
- 7:50Speaker 1: anyone from coming and trying to find fraud because their
- 7:53Speaker 1: state is so corrupt, is so rife with fraud, that
- 7:58Speaker 1: they passed the Stop Nick Shirley Act to stop anyone
- 8:01Speaker 1: from investigating them. Think about that. That is California. That
- 8:05Speaker 1: is what they want to do to our Texas with
- 8:08Speaker 1: James Talafrico and Gina Hinojosa and all of these weirdos running.
- 8:12Speaker 1: They want to run Texas like that. There we go. Boy,
- 8:18Speaker 1: you talk about getting rid of our state surplus, but
- 8:20Speaker 1: they would get rid of it in a heartbeat, wouldn't they?
- 8:23Speaker 1: Don't California my Texas, bro. Don't tase me, bro. So anyway,
- 8:28Speaker 1: but I like this idea, Trump said, of course, within
- 8:30Speaker 1: the confines of the law here in America. Also, this
- 8:33Speaker 1: would go to regular reporters for networks as well. If
- 8:37Speaker 1: they can get approval for their station, from the station
- 8:40Speaker 1: they're reporting for, if they discover fraud, they too can
- 8:43Speaker 1: get paid. And there was some dirtbag reporter asking the question,
- 8:49Speaker 1: doesn't this, isn't this a bad idea? Yeah, of course,
- 8:51Speaker 1: you're a dirtbag reporter. Yeah, you're right. You know what
- 8:54Speaker 1: will probably lead to less corrupt Democrats getting elected? Yeah, probably.
- 8:59Speaker 6: Be terrible.
- 9:01Speaker 1: President Trump also today torched Alyssa Slotkin for threatening young
- 9:05Speaker 1: conservatives and points how it's actually backfiring on them. I
- 9:09Speaker 1: hope so. We'll get into that here coming up on
- 9:12Speaker 1: the program a little later. The race between James Talafrico
- 9:16Speaker 1: and Ken Paxton has narrowed a lot as we're approaching
- 9:20Speaker 1: Election Day, with the polls putting either candidate neck-and-neck or
- 9:24Speaker 1: just slightly within the margin of error. There was a
- 9:27Speaker 1: new Insider Advantage poll last week that showed Paxton had
- 9:31Speaker 1: a slim lead over Talafrico, 49-48. And then the Qantas
- 9:35Speaker 1: Insights had a Paxton-Talafrico neck-and-neck race. Of course, this is
- 9:40Speaker 1: the most expensive contest of the midterms, with the Attorney
- 9:43Speaker 1: General holding a 47.2% lead to a 46.7% lead. So
- 9:49Speaker 1: less than a percentage point. We can talk about that. Oh,
- 9:54Speaker 1: but hey, by the way, just in case you wanted
- 9:57Speaker 1: to know, several stars... of the former hit tv series
- 10:01Speaker 1: friday night lights have backed talafrico for for senate that's
- 10:06Speaker 1: right californian people stars of the series including connie britain
- 10:11Speaker 1: jesse plemmons and adrienne palicki i don't know who any
- 10:16Speaker 1: of these people are appeared in an ad that aired
- 10:19Speaker 1: over the weekend per Deadline. Nothing like actors from California
- 10:22Speaker 1: pretending to be Texans endorsing a trans kid daydreaming weirdo
- 10:27Speaker 1: that'll sway my vote. Does that sway your vote at all?
- 10:31Speaker 1: It only solidifies mine. The feds apparently have DNA evidence
- 10:38Speaker 1: on Ilhan Omar. She's apparently gone into hiding ever since
- 10:43Speaker 1: federal agents searched her D.C. residence last week looking for
- 10:46Speaker 1: some fraud, and apparently they have her DNA and they
- 10:49Speaker 1: were not dumpster diving for it. But they've also confiscated
- 10:54Speaker 1: her passport, her phone, and her computer. Generally, they don't
- 11:00Speaker 1: do this unless there is substantial evidence leaning towards fraud. Boy,
- 11:07Speaker 1: Bullet the Blue Sky sounds a lot like... Somalia. It's
- 11:13Speaker 1: going to be real interesting to see how this one
- 11:15Speaker 1: plays out. All right, you're listening to Chris X Radio.
- 11:17Speaker 1: We'll come back. We have a short segment, and then
- 11:18Speaker 1: we'll catch up with our guest, Madlock, at the bottom
- 11:20Speaker 1: of the hour. Don't you go anywhere. We're just getting
- 11:23Speaker 1: started here on Chris X Radio.
- 11:25Speaker 3: Elections have consequences. So does your radio dial. Don't touch it.

- 12:00Speaker 8: globe and is it the size they tell us it is?
- 12:02Speaker 8: Did 9-11 happen the way we were told? Are pharmaceutical
- 12:06Speaker 8: companies really there to cure diseases? Who are doctors trained by?
- 12:10Speaker 8: Did God create everything on Earth that we need to
- 12:12Speaker 8: stay healthy? Is fluoride in our.
- 12:14Speaker 1: Water really helping us?
- 12:16Speaker 8: What are those long trails of clouds left by airplanes
- 12:19Speaker 8: and what's in them? Did all the astronauts die in
- 12:22Speaker 8: the Space Shuttle Challenger explosion? And as Elvis really did,
- 12:26Speaker 8: I search answers for everything. And if you're searching for
- 12:28Speaker 8: a real estate company, give O'Hara Company Real Estate a

- 13:19Speaker 12: The voters of the state of Texas versus James Tallarico.
- 13:23Speaker 13: Ms.
- 13:23Speaker 1: Lindsay, questions?
- 13:25Speaker 11: Sure do.
- 13:26Speaker 4: Mr.
- 13:26Speaker 11: Tallarico, I've heard a lot of your fancy talk, so
- 13:28Speaker 11: let's just stick to the facts. Why did you vote
- 13:31Speaker 11: against prohibiting biological men from competing in women's sports? Why
- 13:35Speaker 11: did you vote against providing funds to protect our border
- 13:37Speaker 11: from illegal immigration? You voted to place massive new regulations
- 13:41Speaker 11: on the oil patch, the lifeblood of our economy. Your
- 13:44Speaker 11: silence says it all. Mr. Tallarico, you would vote in
- 13:48Speaker 11: Washington the same way you voted here. More taxes, open
- 13:51Speaker 11: borders again, bigger government. That's not what Texans want.
- 13:55Speaker 2: Case closed.
- 13:58Speaker 12: Ken Paxton knows what Texans want, and he's proven it.
- 14:02Speaker 12: Successful crime fighter, protecting children and parents and the border.
- 14:06Speaker 2: Ken Paxton for U.S.
- 14:07Speaker 3: Senate.

- 14:42Speaker 3: Chris X Radio.
- 14:52Speaker 1: Cash, do you like Perfect Circle? Do you like this song? Oh,
- 14:55Speaker 1: it's a good one.
- 14:56Speaker 14: It is a good one.
- 14:56Speaker 1: What's weird is this sounds like brand new to me.
- 14:59Speaker 1: Did this come out like the early 2000s, maybe? Maybe
- 15:03Speaker 1: the 90s?
- 15:03Speaker 15: I think maybe so.
- 15:06Speaker 1: Man, I don't know. By the way, when you did
- 15:10Speaker 1: our countdown earlier yesterday, your countdown, I don't know if
- 15:13Speaker 1: you remember, but there was that one spot that we
- 15:15Speaker 1: forgot to play and we ended up playing it in
- 15:16Speaker 1: the 5 p.m. hour. So when you did that countdown,
- 15:18Speaker 1: did you notice that you're so quick with your microphone
- 15:21Speaker 1: it cuts off before you're even done counting? Did you
- 15:23Speaker 1: notice that?
- 15:24Speaker 9: Oh, no, no, I didn't.
- 15:25Speaker 1: You've got to keep your hand on the button. It
- 15:27Speaker 1: goes fast. It goes fast.
- 15:29Speaker 9: Fair enough.
- 15:30Speaker 1: That's what happens. Well, your cash is busy. He's flying
- 15:33Speaker 1: the mothership. He's doing things. All right, welcome back to
- 15:36Speaker 1: Chris X Radio. It is our Taco 2 for Tuesday edition.
- 15:40Speaker 1: Early voting continues. Coming up in the next segment, we're
- 15:43Speaker 1: going to catch up with Matt Locke, the voice of DFW.
- 15:46Speaker 1: He's the host of the 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
- 15:48Speaker 1: show on WBAP up in Dallas, 820 a.m., but also
- 15:52Speaker 1: on the FM dial. You know what? I think it's
- 15:54Speaker 1: time to throw a big curveball. Cash, I do believe
- 15:57Speaker 1: we're going to go ahead and give away, since it's Tuesday,
- 16:00Speaker 1: Two tickets to Wings Over Houston. That's right, a pair
- 16:03Speaker 1: of tickets to Wings Over Houston. If you want to win,
- 16:07Speaker 1: you should call now. Be caller number... What caller do
- 16:11Speaker 1: we want? What caller number? Since it's two over Tuesday,
- 16:13Speaker 1: do we want to give it to caller number two?
- 16:16Speaker 1: Which caller should we give it to, Cash?
- 16:19Speaker 15: Sorry, I was talking to Mr. Matlock.
- 16:21Speaker 1: He's ready. Let's go six. Caller number six will win
- 16:26Speaker 1: a pair of tickets to Wings Over Houston right now.
- 16:30Speaker 1: If you call right now, 281-558-KSEV, 281-558-5738. What's Matlock doing
- 16:38Speaker 1: calling this early? He's about three minutes early. All right. Well, anyway,
- 16:42Speaker 1: if you want to win a pair of tickets, these
- 16:43Speaker 1: are hot tickets, by the way. They're not cheap. When
- 16:46Speaker 1: I say hot tickets, I mean as in like popular tickets,
- 16:49Speaker 1: not as in like stolen. I didn't steal any tickets
- 16:53Speaker 1: from Wings Over Houston, but we're giving away a pair
- 16:55Speaker 1: to caller number six right now at 281-558-5738. 281-558-5738. If
- 17:03Speaker 1: Cash takes a second to answer, it's because he's getting
- 17:06Speaker 1: my guests lined up. Matt Locke, the voice of VFW
- 17:09Speaker 1: for the next segment. But if you want to attend,
- 17:11Speaker 1: make sure you can attend. It's coming up at the
- 17:13Speaker 1: end of next week. I think Friday, Saturday, Sunday. So
- 17:16Speaker 1: it's one of those days. So if you can attend.
- 17:19Speaker 1: and you want to win a pair of tickets here
- 17:20Speaker 1: on your Two for Tuesday. That's right. It is Two
- 17:23Speaker 1: for Tuesday here on Chris X Radio. You can call
- 17:26Speaker 1: us now, 281-558-5738, and you too can win yourself a
- 17:33Speaker 1: pair of tickets to Wings Over Houston, which is going
- 17:36Speaker 1: to have the great reenactments. They've got the Thunderbirds are back.
- 17:41Speaker 1: I do believe the last time I was there, we
- 17:43Speaker 1: got to watch the Thunderbirds doing their warm-ups on Friday,
- 17:46Speaker 1: which was really cool. I want to go fly in
- 17:49Speaker 1: one of the Thunderbirds.
- 17:50Speaker 16: Actually, I don't.
- 17:53Speaker 1: Man, I remember the G-Force feeling the Gs just in
- 17:56Speaker 1: the little prop planes that we get to fly in,
- 17:58Speaker 1: which I may go fly again with Greg Sturb. But
- 18:00Speaker 1: if you want to win a pair of tickets right now,
- 18:02Speaker 1: call 281-558-5738. Caller number six. Cash, have you gotten a
- 18:08Speaker 1: winner yet, or are you still rolling through the phones?
- 18:09Speaker 1: We only got so many lines. We're good. We're good.
- 18:14Speaker 2: The phone's lit up, but we've got a winner.
- 18:16Speaker 1: Oh, got a winner. Okay, well, I'll let you get
- 18:18Speaker 1: the winner's information. Okay, so we've got a winner. Stop calling.
- 18:21Speaker 1: We'll give away another pair of tickets either tomorrow or Thursday.
- 18:25Speaker 1: So there you go. We got our wiener. It's a wiener.
- 18:31Speaker 1: So stop calling. Once again, somebody, congratulations to whomever... just
- 18:35Speaker 1: won the tickets. Hopefully it's somebody cool who deserves a
- 18:39Speaker 1: fun time at wings over Houston. The wings over Houston
- 18:42Speaker 1: show is man. It's been, I don't know how many
- 18:44Speaker 1: years it's been going on, but it is a staple
- 18:47Speaker 1: and it's over there. The amigos do the live broadcast
- 18:50Speaker 1: on Friday from the, what is the lone star flight
- 18:53Speaker 1: museum right over there by Ellington field, I guess where
- 18:56Speaker 1: the wings over Houston takes place. It's a very cool event.
- 18:59Speaker 1: It is a amazing display of aeronautics and power and,
- 19:04Speaker 1: stuff like that so we'll give away more tickets here
- 19:07Speaker 1: later this week so uh but uh congratulations to who
- 19:12Speaker 1: just went out in whatever area all right cash let's
- 19:16Speaker 1: go and take a break and then we'll come back
- 19:17Speaker 1: catch up with our guests looks like we've got matt
- 19:19Speaker 1: lock lined up so uh we will catch up with
- 19:22Speaker 1: our guest he is the voice of dfw which makes
- 19:26Speaker 1: him simply a wannabe host He can't hang with the
- 19:29Speaker 1: voice of Texas, which is hilarious because I know we've
- 19:32Speaker 1: been around a little longer, at least I have, on
- 19:34Speaker 1: the air, but WBAP is a massive signal. So calling
- 19:40Speaker 1: him just the voice of DFW is really selling him
- 19:42Speaker 1: short because, as I said, when I'm driving up to
- 19:45Speaker 1: the Hill Country, when I'm up driving east and around
- 19:48Speaker 1: Austin and north of Austin, I can pick up WBAP
- 19:51Speaker 1: from Dallas that's how powerful that is Matt Locke joins
- 19:56Speaker 1: us here next on Chris X Radio we'll talk a
- 19:59Speaker 1: little bit about early voting and some other things as
- 20:01Speaker 1: well don't you go anywhere you're listening to Chris X

- 21:35Speaker 18: we do matters. And we know that taking the wrong
- 21:38Speaker 18: road won't produce the best outcomes. Hi, I'm Kathy with
- 21:41Speaker 18: Baker Mortgage. and we want you to take the right
- 21:44Speaker 18: path when it comes to your mortgage. You know, we
- 21:46Speaker 18: live in a world of information overload, but always consider
- 21:50Speaker 18: the source, and these are not generally going to be
- 21:52Speaker 18: from your big bank or a random offer that comes
- 21:55Speaker 18: across your screen. Remember, you're always going to get a
- 21:58Speaker 18: better deal on one that you go looking for than
- 22:00Speaker 18: one that comes looking for you. You need to deal
- 22:03Speaker 18: with somebody who gives a you-know-what, whether or not you're

- 22:30Speaker 19: Hi, this is Michael Miller.
- 22:35Speaker 14: Join me this weekend for the Backyard Bay Radio Program.
- 22:39Speaker 14: Now at our new time, Saturday mornings at 9 a.m.,
- 22:42Speaker 14: right here on AM 700 KSEV The Voice.
- 22:53Speaker 20: From the KSEV Weather Center, tonight will be mainly clear
- 22:56Speaker 20: with a low of 63. Tomorrow is expected to be
- 23:00Speaker 20: sunny and warm with a high of 86. Tomorrow night
- 23:03Speaker 20: will be clear with a low of 56. Thursday will
- 23:06Speaker 20: be warm with plenty of sunshine reaching a high of 87.
- 23:10Speaker 20: Friday will be mostly sunny and remain warm with a
- 23:13Speaker 20: high of 87. Saturday is forecasted to be mostly sunny
- 23:17Speaker 20: with a high of 84 with the KSCV Weather Center forecast.
- 23:20Speaker 20: I'm AccuWeather Meteorologist Jason Catarina.
- 23:24Speaker 3: Chris X Radio.
- 23:40Speaker 1: This is such a good roommate. By the way, got
- 23:42Speaker 1: to give a shout-out to our winner, Celeste Call from Navasota, Cyprus.
- 23:47Speaker 1: Those are two different locations, so maybe she has high
- 23:49Speaker 1: homes in both areas.
- 23:51Speaker 8: No, she lives over in Navasota, but she's calling from Cyprus,
- 23:54Speaker 8: so it must be a homework thing.
- 23:56Speaker 1: Okay, so there we go.
- 23:57Speaker 6: All right, well.
- 23:58Speaker 1: Congratulations to Celeste. I hope you enjoy the Wings Over Houston.
- 24:03Speaker 1: She won the pair of tickets to Wings Over Houston
- 24:05Speaker 1: here in the last segment. We'll be giving away more
- 24:08Speaker 1: on tomorrow's program, or probably tomorrow. I'm going to have
- 24:11Speaker 1: a tough time saving them for Thursday, our Friday show
- 24:13Speaker 1: on Thursday. So congratulations, Celeste. I hope you enjoy the
- 24:17Speaker 1: Wings Over Houston, not this weekend, but next. Yeah, not
- 24:21Speaker 1: this weekend, but the following. So it's Halloween weekend, which is, man,
- 24:25Speaker 1: there's a lot going on. So I'm going to be
- 24:28Speaker 1: busy that weekend, to say the least. A lot of
- 24:30Speaker 1: people doing parties and different stuff this year. Anyhow, all right,
- 24:33Speaker 1: welcome back to Chris X Radio. I'm the aforementioned X-Man.
- 24:36Speaker 1: It is time to catch up with my brethren from
- 24:38Speaker 1: another Matherin. He is the voice of DFW from the
- 24:42Speaker 1: 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. show on 820 a.m. WBAP
- 24:45Speaker 1: up in Big D in Dallas. Matlock joins us now.
- 24:49Speaker 1: When he's not solving murders and mysteries, he's hosting his
- 24:52Speaker 1: own radio show up there on WBAP. Matt, always good
- 24:55Speaker 1: to catch up with you. Thanks for being here today.
- 24:57Speaker 9: I mean, I wear multiple hats, my friend.
- 25:01Speaker 1: Yes, you do. And you're way better as Matlock than
- 25:04Speaker 1: that Kathy Bates character, who's a great actress, but she's
- 25:07Speaker 1: no Matlock. She is no Matlock. All right, well, I'm
- 25:10Speaker 1: glad to get you back on the program. I was
- 25:12Speaker 1: mentioning 820 AM WBAP is on the AM dial, but
- 25:15Speaker 1: you're also on the FM dial, too. Is that correct?
- 25:18Speaker 1: We are.
- 25:19Speaker 9: We're on 93.3, but you run into the Tejano music
- 25:23Speaker 9: at about Austin.
- 25:25Speaker 1: Oh, okay. I'll tell you what, you know what, you
- 25:28Speaker 1: don't on the AM. I can tell you that when
- 25:32Speaker 1: I'm up there driving up in the Austin area, going
- 25:35Speaker 1: to the Hill Country, I listen to Matt Locke on
- 25:37Speaker 1: the voice of DFW on WBAP. Man, like I said,
- 25:43Speaker 1: you come in loud and proud when I'm heading up
- 25:45Speaker 1: that direction. So a good, strong signal. Like I said,
- 25:48Speaker 1: it's kind of funny. I'm the voice of Texas, but
- 25:51Speaker 1: our signal doesn't cover anywhere near what you guys are.
- 25:54Speaker 1: are covering. And once again, that means a lot of
- 25:56Speaker 1: people listening to your show from nine to 11 AM.
- 25:59Speaker 14: All right.
- 25:59Speaker 1: So I wanted to get you on and talk and
- 26:01Speaker 1: thank you for finally being able to make it on.
- 26:02Speaker 1: I know I tried to get you a couple of
- 26:04Speaker 1: days ago and you had a dentist appointment. You've been
- 26:06Speaker 1: a busy man. Hopefully your teeth are all bright and
- 26:09Speaker 1: shiny and you're, you're ready to cover. You've been talking
- 26:11Speaker 1: about early voting so far.
- 26:14Speaker 3: Oh, gosh, yes.
- 26:15Speaker 9: I mean, Chris, I know you've seen the numbers. It's
- 26:18Speaker 9: unbelievable that a midterm election is going to have the
- 26:22Speaker 9: numbers of a presidential election. And of course, President Trump said, hey,
- 26:27Speaker 9: act like I'm on the ballot. Boy, Texans are.
- 26:30Speaker 1: You know, it sure seems to be that way. Here
- 26:32Speaker 1: in Harris County, we just shattered the all-time record, which
- 26:35Speaker 1: was set back in 2018 for the midterms with 63,000 voters.
- 26:40Speaker 1: We darn near doubled it with roughly 105,000 ballots being
- 26:44Speaker 1: cast yesterday. So that was the first day of early voting.
- 26:47Speaker 1: I don't know how it's going so far on day two,
- 26:50Speaker 1: but I heard Dallas County also had a huge turnout.
- 26:54Speaker 1: I know that's up in your neck of the woods.
- 26:56Speaker 1: Which county do you vote in, Matt? I don't think
- 26:58Speaker 1: you're in Dallas County, are you?
- 27:00Speaker 9: No, I vote in Tarrant County. But yes, Dallas County
- 27:03Speaker 9: had a record turnout. But the fun thing about that
- 27:06Speaker 9: is that it's all the precincts north, not the precincts south.
- 27:11Speaker 9: So the precincts north tend to be more dominantly white,
- 27:16Speaker 9: more dominantly red, and the precincts south tend to be
- 27:20Speaker 9: more minorities.
- 27:23Speaker 1: OK, that's interesting, which as far as up in that
- 27:26Speaker 1: area in Houston, where it's all over the map, it's
- 27:30Speaker 1: all over the place. I did see the some of
- 27:33Speaker 1: the surrounding counties, Montgomery County, a very red county also
- 27:36Speaker 1: had huge turnout. In fact, most of the red counties
- 27:40Speaker 1: had really a massive turnout on the first day of
- 27:43Speaker 1: early voting. Now, once again, it's a little too early
- 27:45Speaker 1: to be counting any chickens, but it bodes well for
- 27:48Speaker 1: a good turnout with, like I said, a lot of
- 27:50Speaker 1: these red counties having historic turnouts. I think we're getting
- 27:54Speaker 1: the same thing in some of the blue counties as well.
- 27:56Speaker 1: Do you think this is just a culmination of both
- 27:58Speaker 1: sides being fired up? Or what is your assessment so far?
- 28:03Speaker 1: And I know it's a very limited subset to choose from.
- 28:05Speaker 9: Well, I can give you some information. So into day two,
- 28:10Speaker 9: Tarrant County, which has been kind of purple, you know,
- 28:13Speaker 9: we've been about a 50-50 county, 51-49 kind of county. Well,
- 28:15Speaker 9: I just got numbers about an hour ago that.
- 28:21Speaker 9: Through about most of day two here, Tarrant County is
- 28:24Speaker 9: up four and a half red. So that's pretty big.
- 28:27Speaker 9: And then Parker County, which is just west of Tarrant County,
- 28:31Speaker 9: which is bright, bright red, is 197% over 2024 and
- 28:33Speaker 9: up over 100% over 2018. So numbers are crazy big.
- 28:45Speaker 22: Wow.
- 28:45Speaker 1: This is big numbers. Now, this is a very an
- 28:49Speaker 1: interesting election, because as I'm sure you've talked about plenty is,
- 28:53Speaker 1: you know, we actually have now I would say it's
- 28:55Speaker 1: an open Senate seat with, of course, you know, Tallarico
- 28:58Speaker 1: and Clint Paxton running for it. It's the most expensive
- 29:02Speaker 1: Senate race ever in Texas history, probably ever in U.S. history.
- 29:07Speaker 1: So a whole lot of money. I've been hearing close
- 29:09Speaker 1: to a half a million dollars has been spent over
- 29:13Speaker 1: the airwaves. And this race seems to be at this
- 29:15Speaker 1: point pretty much anybody's game, according to the polling. All
- 29:18Speaker 1: of it seems to be within the margin of error,
- 29:20Speaker 1: at least any reputable polling location or polling outlet. But
- 29:25Speaker 1: that being said, this is a very expensive race and
- 29:28Speaker 1: a whole lot of money is spent. Do you think
- 29:30Speaker 1: that is really pushing the turnout? And then, of course,
- 29:32Speaker 1: you've got the governor's race. So it's a big election.
- 29:36Speaker 9: Well, I think it's a combination of things. And you
- 29:38Speaker 9: said million. It's actually billions. a half a billion dollars
- 29:42Speaker 9: in this race, which is really, really wild. And you've
- 29:45Speaker 9: got some big hitters. I mean, you've got Trump on
- 29:48Speaker 9: one side, the left's bringing out Barack Obama. They understand
- 29:51Speaker 9: the magnitude of the time that we're living in. And
- 29:54Speaker 9: I think people understand the assignment. which is, you know,
- 29:58Speaker 9: do you want to turn over America to a party
- 30:01Speaker 9: that wants to open the borders, that wants to rule you?
- 30:04Speaker 9: I don't know if you saw, you know, Alyssa Slotkin
- 30:08Speaker 9: in Chicago saying, hey, look, we're going to make your
- 30:10Speaker 9: life miserable if you're a conservative and young. We're going
- 30:13Speaker 9: to deter that. We're going to make sure we do
- 30:16Speaker 9: some deterrence. We're going to come after you. You've got
- 30:18Speaker 9: El-Said saying, hey, we're going to take your muskets because
- 30:22Speaker 9: the 2A ain't your thing. I mean, we've got some
- 30:24Speaker 9: craziness going on in this country right now. And then
- 30:27Speaker 9: you've got, obviously, a story that just broke yesterday of
- 30:30Speaker 9: the DSA that wants to have open rebellion in the streets.
- 30:34Speaker 9: So we are dealing with a party that is insane.
- 30:38Speaker 9: And President Trump's been saying that in Kansas, out in Alaska.
- 30:42Speaker 9: He's been in Montana. He's coming back to Texas and
- 30:44Speaker 9: Lubbock and Waco. I mean, it is an all-out, fisticuff,
- 30:48Speaker 9: bare-knuckle fight that we need to win.
- 30:52Speaker 1: We're talking with Matt Locke, the voice of DFW. He
- 30:54Speaker 1: is the host from the 9 to 11 a.m. show
- 30:57Speaker 1: on 820 a.m. 93.3 FM WBAP up in the Dallas area.
- 31:01Speaker 1: But it covers a whole lot more ground than that. Yeah,
- 31:04Speaker 1: you talk about the DSA. It's weird because I know
- 31:08Speaker 1: some Democrats. I'm friends with some Democrats. They're not the
- 31:11Speaker 1: insane people that are now make up the party. But
- 31:14Speaker 1: the problem is, is they still seem to want to
- 31:16Speaker 1: vote that way. So now they're voting for you mentioned,
- 31:19Speaker 1: you know, El-Said and These crazy people, Alyssa Slotkin, I
- 31:22Speaker 1: covered that on the program yesterday. I saw Trump snap
- 31:25Speaker 1: back at her as well. But once again, talking about
- 31:28Speaker 1: weaponizing the Justice Department, of course, to allow them to
- 31:32Speaker 1: consolidate power. And we know that the Democrats' lust for
- 31:36Speaker 1: absolute power is never satiated. They're never going to stop.
- 31:39Speaker 1: And it has only gotten worse with these radical sort
- 31:41Speaker 1: of candidates. and James Tallarico here in Texas is one
- 31:45Speaker 1: of those radical candidates. Now, he comes in this pretty
- 31:47Speaker 1: little boyish face, and he pretends to be a church
- 31:50Speaker 1: boy and all this, but all of the things that
- 31:52Speaker 1: he has voted for, all of the things that he
- 31:54Speaker 1: has advocated for, everything that he has said up until
- 31:57Speaker 1: the moment he started running in the general election has
- 32:00Speaker 1: been his radical left. He might as well be the DSA,
- 32:04Speaker 1: but now they're trying to convince everyone that he's not
- 32:07Speaker 1: in order to try to get this seat in Texas.
- 32:10Speaker 1: Do you think there's any... a chance that he's going
- 32:12Speaker 1: to be able to do this? Do you believe the polls?
- 32:14Speaker 1: What do you think is going to play out or
- 32:15Speaker 1: is it just it's too early to tell?
- 32:18Speaker 9: Well, Chris, I'm going to tell you, Tallarico's got a
- 32:20Speaker 9: problem with the minority community. Maybe he should sit down
- 32:24Speaker 9: and have some fried chicken like El-Said just did in
- 32:27Speaker 9: his ad. I mean, maybe that will help him with
- 32:30Speaker 9: the black folks. But I just I mean, maybe Jazzy
- 32:33Speaker 9: will come out and give him an endorsement of what's
- 32:36Speaker 9: going on. But I can tell you, The minority vote
- 32:38Speaker 9: is down here in the city, in Dallas, in Tarrant County.
- 32:42Speaker 9: They are not showing up for James Tallarico, and there's
- 32:45Speaker 9: a reason. They don't like him, number one. They don't
- 32:48Speaker 9: like people who play at. They don't think he's authentic
- 32:52Speaker 9: or genuine, and he's going to have a very hard
- 32:54Speaker 9: time getting a segment of the population.
- 32:58Speaker 21: That he needs.
- 32:59Speaker 9: Now, I mean, the black vote's not big, but you
- 33:01Speaker 9: got the Hispanics as well and everything else. And then
- 33:03Speaker 9: if you look at everything that's going on, you and
- 33:05Speaker 9: I both know if there's a presidential election turnout, there
- 33:10Speaker 9: are more Republicans than Democrats. And we saw in the
- 33:13Speaker 9: presidential election where President Trump won Texas by about 14 points.
- 33:18Speaker 9: So we get a big turnout. Ken Paxton walked this thing.
- 33:21Speaker 9: Greg Abbott's probably a plus 10 as it is. And
- 33:24Speaker 9: you've got, you know, obviously Dan Patrick coming along the side.
- 33:28Speaker 9: I see a red wave, my friend. I mean, I
- 33:30Speaker 9: could see Ken Paxton winning by eight to 10 points.
- 33:33Speaker 1: You know, it's interesting. I don't believe the polling that
- 33:35Speaker 1: we've been seeing. Clearly, we all know that Republicans are
- 33:40Speaker 1: always underrepresented in the polling, especially the Trump voters. And
- 33:43Speaker 1: as you mentioned, if this is a Trump-style election, if
- 33:46Speaker 1: the Trump voters turn out, well, that changes the dynamic drastically.
- 33:50Speaker 1: And I'm hoping that is the case. I don't know yet.
- 33:52Speaker 1: You mentioned the trouble that James Tallarico— First of all,
- 33:56Speaker 1: him disappearing off the campaign trail for 12 days without
- 33:58Speaker 1: any legitimate answers did not help his campaign at all.
- 34:01Speaker 1: In fact, I've seen at least two or three polls
- 34:04Speaker 1: now that have Paxton leading slightly as we head into
- 34:07Speaker 1: this election. So that changes the narrative. But then you
- 34:10Speaker 1: mentioned the black men tend not to like gay candidates.
- 34:14Speaker 1: And James Tallarico just really listen. I don't may I
- 34:17Speaker 1: may not have the best gaydar in the world, but
- 34:19Speaker 1: he sure strikes me as a gay guy. He doesn't
- 34:21Speaker 1: seem like a heterosexual.
- 34:22Speaker 9: I was not going to say gaydar, but now that
- 34:24Speaker 9: you said that, that's exactly accurate.
- 34:27Speaker 1: Yeah, just once again, he just he doesn't strike me
- 34:30Speaker 1: as a heterosexual. Now, listen, he went to the Barack
- 34:33Speaker 1: Obama School of Public Speaking. He's slow and measured. But
- 34:36Speaker 1: any guy, any male, adult male that can rattle off
- 34:40Speaker 1: his favorite drag queen in an instant to a voter
- 34:42Speaker 1: tells you that, OK, this is this is a little weird.
- 34:45Speaker 1: But there was a tweet yesterday, and I thought this
- 34:47Speaker 1: was hilarious, but it also, I think, goes to what
- 34:49Speaker 1: you were saying. It's a guy called the At River
- 34:52Speaker 1: Oaks guy. He said, I was going to vote for Paxton,
- 34:54Speaker 1: but I remembered that Trump bombed jihadists in Iran instead
- 34:57Speaker 1: of sending them planes loaded with cash. And then I
- 35:00Speaker 1: remembered that I'm not a total gay lord, so I
- 35:03Speaker 1: voted for Paxton. I think that may be what we're
- 35:06Speaker 1: seeing play out in the African-American community with black men
- 35:10Speaker 1: are not running towards, you know, Mr. Talafrico, because if
- 35:14Speaker 1: that is the case, that could be enough right there
- 35:17Speaker 1: to just shift the narrative. Now, once again, it is
- 35:19Speaker 1: a small percentage of the vote, but it is a
- 35:22Speaker 1: huge percentage of the Democrat vote. And that that could
- 35:26Speaker 1: be really bad for him. That being said, Ken Paxton
- 35:29Speaker 1: has been blasted, of course, with that close to a
- 35:32Speaker 1: half a billion as you mentioned earlier that is being
- 35:35Speaker 1: spent you know 250 million dollars of negative campaigning going
- 35:40Speaker 1: against him is of course having its you know effect
- 35:43Speaker 1: with uh the independence it looks like that paxton is
- 35:46Speaker 1: still not doing as well As Tallarico is, and of course,
- 35:49Speaker 1: the low information voters, we know how they go. So
- 35:52Speaker 1: it's really early to make any definitive decisions. But what
- 35:57Speaker 1: you said may not surprise me. So you think we're
- 35:59Speaker 1: going to continue to see record turnouts for the rest
- 36:02Speaker 1: of this early voting? Or do you think it'll trail
- 36:04Speaker 1: off back into normal numbers as we're rolling through? You know,
- 36:07Speaker 1: we got it. It's going until the 30th.
- 36:09Speaker 9: Well, I think what you're going to see, and I
- 36:11Speaker 9: think you can understand this, Chris, is Democrats, the TDS Democrats,
- 36:15Speaker 9: the Trump derangement syndrome Democrats, all want to run to
- 36:19Speaker 9: the polls as quickly as they can to yell out
- 36:22Speaker 9: of their womanhood and make sure everybody sees them. So
- 36:25Speaker 9: I think you're going to see a fall off. You'll
- 36:27Speaker 9: see a fall off of voting. I don't think we
- 36:29Speaker 9: can keep this pace. But I will tell you, I'm
- 36:32Speaker 9: watching other states, Nevada, Ohio, Wisconsin, North Carolina. You know,
- 36:37Speaker 9: we've got some bigger states and the independents are still
- 36:41Speaker 9: starting to break Republican. It's like by seven or eight points,
- 36:45Speaker 9: which is a big deal. So we're going to watch
- 36:47Speaker 9: this all unfold. But I will say, I think we're
- 36:50Speaker 9: going to be close to, if not exceeding, presidential election numbers.
- 36:55Speaker 9: And if we do that, I mean, that's really good
- 36:57Speaker 9: for the Republican Party.
- 37:00Speaker 1: Yeah, I think you may be right. We're talking with
- 37:01Speaker 1: Matt Locke, the voice of DFW. He is the host
- 37:03Speaker 1: of the 9 to 11 a.m. show on 820 a.m. 93.3
- 37:08Speaker 1: FM WBAP up in Big D. Needless to say, plenty
- 37:13Speaker 1: to talk about. And once again, I'm sure you'll be
- 37:15Speaker 1: covering early voting as I am here throughout the remainder
- 37:18Speaker 1: of this week and next week and then up through
- 37:19Speaker 1: Election Day. President Trump announced a couple of things today. One,
- 37:23Speaker 1: he announced $ 8 billion in relief to help farmers with
- 37:27Speaker 1: high diesel costs. I think that's good. Hopefully the message
- 37:29Speaker 1: isn't a little too little, a little too late. But
- 37:32Speaker 1: there was something else that he did today. He announced
- 37:35Speaker 1: the Fraud Whistleblowers Incentive Program. where if you discover fraud,
- 37:39Speaker 1: you could get paid a percentage of that fraud amount.
- 37:43Speaker 1: And that goes to sort of in response to California's
- 37:45Speaker 1: Stop Nick Shirley Act. But it definitely turns the tables
- 37:48Speaker 1: on the dirtbags and can allow people maybe a little
- 37:51Speaker 1: incentive to discover this fraud instead of trying to cover
- 37:55Speaker 1: it up like California with the Stop Nick Shirley Act.
- 37:58Speaker 1: What are your thoughts on this?
- 38:00Speaker 3: Oh, I love it.
- 38:01Speaker 9: I'm a former sales guy, so I love commission. I
- 38:03Speaker 9: love working for your dinner. I love the fact that
- 38:06Speaker 9: Trump says, look, we're going to sheriff, we're going to
- 38:08Speaker 9: deputize America. If you see fraud, we're going to pay
- 38:12Speaker 9: you for it. If it turns out to be fraud,
- 38:15Speaker 9: you uncover it, we're going to give you 1%. He literally, Chris,
- 38:19Speaker 9: just deputized all American citizens to look for waste and
- 38:24Speaker 9: fraud from these governments that are in blue states. I mean,
- 38:28Speaker 9: that's really where Trump's going after, right? The red states
- 38:31Speaker 9: work with Trump, the governors, all that stuff. We can't
- 38:34Speaker 9: get the Gavin Newsoms, the Kathy Hochul, the J.B. Pritzkers
- 38:39Speaker 9: to work with us. So Trump says, hey, if you
- 38:41Speaker 9: live in these states and you see fraud and you
- 38:44Speaker 9: report it and it turns out true, I'm going to
- 38:46Speaker 9: pay you money. Open the flood doors, my man, because
- 38:49Speaker 9: it's one of the greatest things I think the president's
- 38:51Speaker 9: ever done.
- 38:52Speaker 1: Well, and I also liked how not only was it
- 38:54Speaker 1: targeted towards the independent journalists, but also he said flat out, hey, listen,
- 38:58Speaker 1: if you work for a network and you uncover fraud,
- 39:00Speaker 1: you talk to your network, you too can get paid.
- 39:03Speaker 1: So what's happening? You've got all these propagandists for the
- 39:06Speaker 1: left doing, well, they're going to be spinning in circles
- 39:08Speaker 1: now because they like money too. So despite much of
- 39:13Speaker 1: the things that they will tell you. All right, Matt,
- 39:15Speaker 1: I guess very quickly here, give us a heads up
- 39:17Speaker 1: maybe on what maybe you're going to be covering tomorrow,
- 39:19Speaker 1: and then tell everybody how they can follow you on
- 39:22Speaker 1: social media and how they can check out the Matlock
- 39:24Speaker 1: program on on wbap well.
- 39:27Speaker 9: Of course we're going to cover early voting because that
- 39:29Speaker 9: that is the story right we're going to go over
- 39:31Speaker 9: we're going to go over numbers we're going to see
- 39:33Speaker 9: where everybody's voting we're going to keep figuring out what's
- 39:35Speaker 9: going on and try to get to the bottom of
- 39:37Speaker 9: everything it's very easy to find me i'm at matlock
- 39:40Speaker 9: radio on x or you can go to wbap.com and
- 39:44Speaker 9: you can stream You can get all the stuff, the podcast,
- 39:49Speaker 9: all that stuff over at WBAP.com.
- 39:52Speaker 23: There you go.
- 39:53Speaker 1: Thanks for your time, my friend. I appreciate you coming
- 39:54Speaker 1: on the program. Keep up the great work, and we'll
- 39:57Speaker 1: see how this plays out. Could be a very interesting November,
- 39:59Speaker 1: to say the least.
- 40:01Speaker 9: Well, put your saddle on, because the ride's going to
- 40:02Speaker 9: get bumpy.
- 40:04Speaker 1: I agree 100%. Fasten that seatbelt. All right, Matlock, the
- 40:07Speaker 1: voice of DFW, host of the 9 to 11 a.m.
- 40:10Speaker 1: show on 820 a.m. 93.3 FM WBAP up in Dallas.
- 40:15Speaker 1: Always good to catch up with him. And once again,
- 40:16Speaker 1: at Matlock Radio, follow him on Twitter. X, I definitely
- 40:19Speaker 1: follow him there. And I've been trying to break out
- 40:22Speaker 1: of that. That algorithm I'm stuck in. I creeped over 1,000
- 40:28Speaker 1: followers again the other day now that we're video streaming
- 40:31Speaker 1: the program on TwitterX and Rumble and YouTube and Facebook
- 40:35Speaker 1: and all of that. So I'm trying to catch up,
- 40:37Speaker 1: but I've got nowhere close to the following that Matlock
- 40:40Speaker 1: does on TwitterX at Matlock Radio. So there you go.
- 40:44Speaker 1: Make sure you follow him. Check him out. Very smart guy.
- 40:46Speaker 1: All right, let's take a very short break. You're listening
- 40:48Speaker 1: to Chris X Radio. We'll come back, wrap up this
- 40:51Speaker 1: first hour. We can go ahead and open up the
- 40:53Speaker 1: lines if you want to join us. 281-558-KSEV.
- 40:59Speaker 2: 281-558-5738.
- 41:00Speaker 1: Anybody get out and vote today? What were you seeing
- 41:03Speaker 1: today compared to yesterday? Yesterday, there were a lot of
- 41:05Speaker 1: long lines. There were some places that didn't have a
- 41:08Speaker 1: long line, but there were a lot of long lines.
- 41:12Speaker 1: 75 early voting locations in Harris County alone. So I'd
- 41:16Speaker 1: like to know what you saw. 281-558-KSCV, 281-558-5738. You're listening
- 41:22Speaker 1: to Chris X Radio. We'll be right back.
- 41:29Speaker 3: The resistance is futile. Chris X Radio.
- 41:33Speaker 5: Chris X Radio.

- 42:39Speaker 24: I'm Pastor Brandon Myers. Sometimes a wolf appears in sheep's clothing.
- 42:44Speaker 24: Let's give James Tallarico a Bible study. Tallarico claims there
- 42:48Speaker 24: are six genders. But Genesis 1.27 says he created them
- 42:52Speaker 24: male and female. Tallarico claims God is both masculine and
- 42:56Speaker 24: feminine and everything in between. But in Luke 11.2, Jesus
- 43:00Speaker 24: teaches his disciples how to pray to his Father. Tallarico
- 43:03Speaker 24: claims he has learned much about his faith from Islamic mystics.
- 43:07Speaker 24: But in John 14.6, Jesus says, No one comes to
- 43:11Speaker 24: the Father but through me.
- 43:13Speaker 1: Mr.
- 43:13Speaker 24: Tallarico, either Christianity is true or it isn't. Either Jesus
- 43:18Speaker 24: was a sinless person who died on the cross to
- 43:21Speaker 24: pay the penalty for our sins and rose from the dead,
- 43:24Speaker 24: or he wasn't. This is what Christians believe. Beware of wolves.
- 43:37Speaker 22: The best in financial talk and more. Money Matters, every
- 43:40Speaker 22: Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. till noon, here on
- 43:43Speaker 22: AM 700 KSCV and streaming online at kscvradio.com.
- 43:49Speaker 17: Thank goodness our weather experts are providing us with hurricane
- 43:52Speaker 17: tracking charts and reminding us to be.
- 43:53Speaker 1: Prepared for big storms.
- 43:55Speaker 17: But they overlook one very important thing, the damage and
- 43:57Speaker 17: destruction from broken limbs and uprooted trees. Call Lewis Flory
- 44:01Speaker 17: at Ability Tree Experts today. my friend for nearly 40 years.
- 44:05Speaker 17: At 281-441-4179 and let him explain how this problem can
- 44:10Speaker 17: be minimized with professional pruning. You see, when the tree
- 44:13Speaker 17: canopy is too thick and dense, the tree can be
- 44:15Speaker 17: completely blown over and tree limbs broken, causing terrible damage
- 44:19Speaker 17: to the tree and maybe your home. Where tree limbs break,
- 44:23Speaker 17: sap will ooze and that attracts harmful insects. So you
- 44:26Speaker 17: need to call Lewis Flory today at 281-441-4179. and have
- 44:32Speaker 17: his experts come out and professionally prune your trees to
- 44:36Speaker 17: withstand sudden storms that are so frequent this time of year.
- 44:39Speaker 17: Visit their website at AbilityTrees.com. That's 281-441-4179. Ability Tree Experts,
- 44:47Speaker 17: Houston's leading tree care professional.
- 44:49Speaker 3: You can't stop him. You can only hope to contain him.
- 44:53Speaker 3: Chris X Radio.
- 45:07Speaker 1: Welcome back to Gris X Radio. You reach the final
- 45:09Speaker 1: segment of the first hour. Don't go away. We got
- 45:11Speaker 1: our number two locked and loaded. I want to thank
- 45:14Speaker 1: Matt Locke for joining us. The voice of DFW 9
- 45:16Speaker 1: to 11 a.m. on 820 a.m. 93.3 FM WBAP up
- 45:21Speaker 1: in Big D. Needless to say, he's also covering early voting.
- 45:26Speaker 1: Early voting continues here on your taco two for Tuesday.
- 45:30Speaker 1: After a record breaking first day. Record breaking in a
- 45:34Speaker 1: lot of areas. But Harris County, Dallas County, Harris County, boy,
- 45:38Speaker 1: we shattered the record. It wasn't even close. Early voting
- 45:43Speaker 1: goes from, well, today, well, yesterday actually, but through the 30th,
- 45:47Speaker 1: which is Monday through Saturday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.,
- 45:50Speaker 1: Sunday noon to 7 p.m., and then Election Day is Tuesday,
- 45:54Speaker 1: November 3rd, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., once again through
- 45:57Speaker 1: October 30th. So that's all through next week. So you've
- 46:00Speaker 1: got a chance to get out and vote every day
- 46:02Speaker 1: between now and then, of course, Election Day is Tuesday,
- 46:04Speaker 1: November 3rd from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. If you're
- 46:08Speaker 1: in Harris County, you can go to HarrisVotes.com, find out
- 46:10Speaker 1: your sample ballot, and then there you go. We'll be
- 46:13Speaker 1: giving away another pair of tickets to Wings Over Houston
- 46:15Speaker 1: probably tomorrow, either tomorrow or Thursday. We got one more
- 46:19Speaker 1: pair of tickets to give away, so we'll do that tomorrow.
- 46:22Speaker 1: And as I mentioned, early voting yesterday, the record was
- 46:25Speaker 1: shattered with 1,400, 734 ballots were cast by 8 p.m. yesterday. 104,734
- 46:27Speaker 1: ballots blowing past the previous record of 63,000 votes set
- 46:29Speaker 1: during the 2018 midterm elections. That is a crazy amount
- 46:45Speaker 1: of people. That's presidential sort of turnout, which is interesting
- 46:49Speaker 1: considering the times we find ourselves in. We'll see. How
- 46:53Speaker 1: is it today? Have you guys been out to the
- 46:55Speaker 1: polls today? Anybody go out and early vote today? 281-558-KSEV
- 46:59Speaker 1: is the number. 281-558-5738. Let's go to Ray listening in
- 47:03Speaker 1: the Woodlands. Ray, thanks for hanging on. Welcome to Chris
- 47:06Speaker 1: X Radio.
- 47:07Speaker 25: Hey, Chris. Yeah, I voted today at the Kevin Brady Library,
- 47:11Speaker 25: and it took about an hour and 20 minutes to
- 47:13Speaker 25: go all the way through and then to exit the building.
- 47:17Speaker 25: So it was a long haul today. By the time
- 47:21Speaker 25: I went out, the line had gone down to where
- 47:24Speaker 25: it would have probably been about a 45-minute wait.
- 47:27Speaker 21: Right.
- 47:30Speaker 25: Anyway, it was pretty well organized. Just got to wait
- 47:32Speaker 25: it out. So I was in there voting, and at
- 47:36Speaker 25: that time I realized how important every single vote is.
- 47:43Speaker 25: And you do need to vote the whole ballot. Don't
- 47:47Speaker 25: skip anything.
- 47:48Speaker 1: No, I agree. Yeah, vote red, top to the bottom
- 47:52Speaker 1: of the ticket. What time did you go vote today?
- 47:56Speaker 25: I got there about.
- 47:59Speaker 25: Eight forty five or so.
- 48:01Speaker 1: OK, so you went this morning and it was still. Yeah,
- 48:03Speaker 1: I heard yesterday there was pretty long lines up in
- 48:05Speaker 1: the woodlands. So today, apparently it is still the case. So, well,
- 48:09Speaker 1: thank you for getting out an early voting. I appreciate
- 48:11Speaker 1: you letting us know kind of how your experience went.
- 48:13Speaker 1: I'm hoping as the day goes on, it sort of
- 48:15Speaker 1: trailed off a little bit. But the good turnout is
- 48:18Speaker 1: probably good. I mean, that means that is.
- 48:20Speaker 25: Yes.
- 48:22Speaker 1: A lot of good things. Thank you for the call, Ray.
- 48:23Speaker 1: I appreciate it. Also, I agree with your sentiment about,
- 48:26Speaker 1: you know, remember, top of the ballot to the bottom.
- 48:30Speaker 1: And it's not that long. I was looking at sample ballot.
- 48:33Speaker 1: There is some, depending on which area you're in, you
- 48:35Speaker 1: may have some of the local school board or, you know,
- 48:39Speaker 1: whatever those will be, non-denominational is what I like to
- 48:42Speaker 1: call them. They're not Republican or Democrat. But on the
- 48:46Speaker 1: rest of the ballot, Republicans are listed first. And it
- 48:49Speaker 1: says it, if they're Republican or Democrat. And then you'll
- 48:52Speaker 1: know to vote, like I said, from the top all
- 48:54Speaker 1: the way to the bottom. It's very simple for me.
- 48:56Speaker 1: And for those who don't want to take the time
- 48:58Speaker 1: to go and actually research all the candidates, I can
- 49:00Speaker 1: tell you, vote Republican. If we had straight ticket Republican,
- 49:04Speaker 1: I'd be voting straight ticket. That's how serious this election is.
- 49:09Speaker 1: And that's how crazy the Democrats have become. Because there's
- 49:13Speaker 1: no redeeming qualities. When you have to lie to convince
- 49:17Speaker 1: the people who don't pay attention that you're somehow a
- 49:20Speaker 1: moderate to get elected, I don't like those sort of
- 49:23Speaker 1: deceitful ideas. Hour number two is up next. Thanks for
- 49:25Speaker 1: the call, Ray.
- 49:26Speaker 5: AM 700 KSCV, Tomball, Houston, and streaming online at kscvradio.com.
- 49:33Speaker 1: The Voice of Texas.
- 49:36Speaker 27: News this hour from Town Hall, I'm Keith Peters in Washington.
- 49:41Speaker 27: President Trump says he's open to going to any meeting
- 49:44Speaker 27: that could end the war between Russia and Ukraine, whether
- 49:46Speaker 27: somebody's there or not. NBC's Keir Simmons has more.
- 49:51Speaker 2: President Trump confirming he would be open to joint talks
- 49:54Speaker 2: with Russia and China's leaders.
- 49:56Speaker 9: Have you agreed to.
- 49:56Speaker 28: A trilateral meeting with President Xi to.
- 49:59Speaker 1: Talk about Ukraine?
- 50:01Speaker 15: No, but I would do it.
- 50:02Speaker 4: Not so much for Ukraine, because Russia, frankly, has been.
- 50:07Speaker 1: Fine on Ukraine.
- 50:09Speaker 27: The Wall Street Journal reports Russian President Vladimir Putin proposed
- 50:12Speaker 27: a summit with President Trump and Chinese leader Xi Jinping
- 50:16Speaker 27: to discuss ending the war, but it would not include
- 50:18Speaker 27: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. The UK will fly defensive missions
- 50:24Speaker 27: over Saudi Arabia to help protect that country.
- 50:27Speaker 29: This comes after multiple strikes on Saudi Arabia by the
- 50:30Speaker 29: Iran-backed Houthi rebels. Attacks on the King Khalid International Airport
- 50:36Speaker 29: in Riyadh earlier this month killed more than a dozen
- 50:39Speaker 29: people and left hundreds injured. The UK said it will
- 50:42Speaker 29: not conduct offensive strikes as part of its missions. Last week,
- 50:46Speaker 29: President Trump said he was considering whether to join Saudi
- 50:50Speaker 29: strikes against the Houthis. I'm Michael Kastner.
- 50:53Speaker 27: Federal agents in Kansas arrested a 24-year-old man named Jaden
- 50:58Speaker 27: Reed for plotting to kill President Trump at a MAGA
- 51:01Speaker 27: campaign rally.
- 51:02Speaker 28: The feds say this 24-year-old suspect was busy posting threats
- 51:06Speaker 28: on Facebook and that the FBI was alerted through a tip.
- 51:09Speaker 28: He wrote he bought bullets and was surveilling the buildings
- 51:12Speaker 28: around the event venue and was going to kill the president.
- 51:15Speaker 28: He also reportedly made a reference to Charlie Kirk's assassination,
- 51:19Speaker 28: saying y'all couldn't help him. Laura Winters reporting.

- 53:06Speaker 31: Military planners always assumed that if a war with Iran began,
- 53:10Speaker 31: the Iranians would attempt to take the Persian Gulf hostage
- 53:14Speaker 31: and close the Straits of Hormuz. What nobody expected was
- 53:18Speaker 31: that the Iranians would be allowed to export while America's allies,
- 53:22Speaker 31: the Saudis, Kuwaitis, the UAE, and occasionally Qatar, would be blocked.
- 53:27Speaker 31: A sort of mutually assured destruction was expected to provide
- 53:31Speaker 31: enough leverage on Iran to keep the straits open.
- 53:34Speaker 1: Yet, for a brief period, they were.
- 53:37Speaker 31: Allowed to export their own crude and charge a ransom
- 53:40Speaker 31: to anyone else wanting to do the same. That is,
- 53:44Speaker 31: until the U.S. Navy stepped in with a blockade of
- 53:47Speaker 31: its own on all Iranian exports, including crude oil.
- 53:52Speaker 32: In just a.
- 53:52Speaker 31: Few weeks, Iranian storage will max out, leaving Iranian oil
- 53:57Speaker 31: producers with no other choices but to shut in oil
- 54:01Speaker 31: wells permanently, damaging their ability to fund their economy, pay
- 54:06Speaker 31: their military, and bankroll their terrorist proxies. The cutoff would
- 54:11Speaker 31: be close to 100%, a huge blow if continued. Which
- 54:15Speaker 31: is why, even though Democrats in Congress attempted to hand
- 54:18Speaker 31: the Iranians a victory by pulling funding from our military,
- 54:23Speaker 31: the United States will successfully force the Iranians to yield
- 54:27Speaker 31: and concede to open the straits and end their nuclear
- 54:30Speaker 31: weapons program. One way or another, despite the media fawning
- 54:34Speaker 31: over the brilliance of Iranian strategy, the Iranians will lose.
- 54:39Speaker 31: Despite his political opponents rooting for U.S. strategy to fail,
- 54:43Speaker 31: President Trump has bent the arc of history and dealt
- 54:48Speaker 31: a homicidal regime a blow it will take decades to recover.
- 54:53Speaker 31: The American people have not supported this war, and high
- 54:56Speaker 31: gas prices will harm Republican chances in November. But the
- 55:00Speaker 31: prospects of a deal on America's terms should result in
- 55:04Speaker 31: us doing a lot better than most people think. I'm
- 55:08Speaker 31: Ben Strewsand, and that's my view.

- 55:21Speaker 17: Thank goodness our weather experts are providing us with hurricane
- 55:24Speaker 17: tracking charts and reminding us to be prepared for big storms.
- 55:27Speaker 17: But they overlook one very important thing, the damage and
- 55:29Speaker 17: destruction from broken limbs and uprooted trees. Call Lewis Flory
- 55:33Speaker 17: at Ability Tree Experts today. my friend for nearly 40 years.
- 55:37Speaker 17: At 281-441-4179 and let him explain how this problem can
- 55:42Speaker 17: be minimized with professional pruning. You see, when the tree
- 55:45Speaker 17: canopy is too thick and dense, the tree can be
- 55:47Speaker 17: completely blown over and tree limbs broken, causing terrible damage
- 55:51Speaker 17: to the tree and maybe your home. Where tree limbs break,
- 55:55Speaker 17: sap will ooze and that attracts harmful insects. So you
- 55:58Speaker 17: need to call Lewis Flory today at 281-441-4179. and have
- 56:04Speaker 17: his experts come out and professionally prune your trees to

- 56:22Speaker 6: Launch Control, this is.
- 56:29Speaker 27: Houston.
- 56:29Speaker 9: We are going for launch.
- 56:32Speaker 16: Five, four, three, two, one.
- 56:38Speaker 23: That's Chris X Radio.
- 56:42Speaker 3: Chris X Radio.
- 56:44Speaker 32: What we need right now is a clear message to
- 56:47Speaker 32: the people of this country.
- 56:49Speaker 17: This message must be read in.
- 56:50Speaker 32: Every newspaper, heard on every radio, seen on every television.
- 56:54Speaker 19: This message must resound throughout the entire interlakeness.
- 56:58Speaker 6: And now, your host.
- 56:59Speaker 9: I believe this is going to be our finest hour.
- 57:01Speaker 3: Chris X.
- 57:17Speaker 1: And the numbers for early voting are looking good. Well,
- 57:20Speaker 1: looking like a big turnout. You know, it's funny. All
- 57:24Speaker 1: the Democrats told us that this voter ID, of course,
- 57:29Speaker 1: that would... Deter voter turnout, it's voter suppression. Asking someone
- 57:34Speaker 1: to present who they truly are when they show up
- 57:36Speaker 1: to vote leads to suppression. We had over 104,000 turnout
- 57:41Speaker 1: yesterday on first day of early voting, destroying the record
- 57:45Speaker 1: from 2018 of 63,000 in Harris County alone. Record-breaking turnout
- 57:52Speaker 1: in multiple counties throughout the state. So, pretty interesting. Anyway,
- 57:57Speaker 1: welcome to the second hour of Chris X Radio. I
- 57:59Speaker 1: am the aforementioned X-Man. Glad to have you here with
- 58:02Speaker 1: us on your second hour of the program. I want
- 58:06Speaker 1: to thank Matt Locke for joining us in the first hour.
- 58:08Speaker 1: By the way, Cash, did you notice there was Matt Locke,
- 58:10Speaker 1: no mention of cannibal courts whatsoever? Not a single word.
- 58:16Speaker 1: I really don't know what cannibal courts are. But I'm
- 58:19Speaker 1: assuming you wouldn't want to be found guilty in a
- 58:22Speaker 1: cannibal court. That's just me. Could be wrong. Could be wrong. Anyway,
- 58:27Speaker 1: it's always fun to catch up with Matlock. He's from WPAP.
- 58:30Speaker 1: Does the 9 to 11 a.m. show up in big days.
- 58:33Speaker 1: It's always good to catch up with Matlock on occasion.
- 58:37Speaker 1: So glad to have you here on the second day
- 58:39Speaker 1: of early voting. Like I mentioned, we shattered the record yesterday.
- 58:43Speaker 1: Early voting goes through the 30th. So it's all this weekend,
- 58:47Speaker 1: next week, Monday through Saturday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- 58:51Speaker 1: Only on Sunday, it's noon to 7 p.m. And then
- 58:53Speaker 1: the rest of next week, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- 58:55Speaker 1: And then Election Day is Tuesday, November 3rd, 7 a.m.
- 59:00Speaker 1: to 7 p.m. It'll be interesting to see if we
- 59:04Speaker 1: can get this massive turnout each day for early voting.
- 59:08Speaker 1: How many people will be left for Election Day? i
- 59:12Speaker 1: don't know but harris county shattered their voting record early
- 59:17Speaker 1: voting day one with 104 734 000 ballots cast by
- 59:18Speaker 1: 8 p.m Oh, man, it's a good turnout. The old
- 59:27Speaker 1: record was only 63,000. That is almost twice as much
- 59:31Speaker 1: as normal. And they're saying this is sort of a
- 59:35Speaker 1: presidential sort of turnout during the presidential elections, which means
- 59:41Speaker 1: people are really fired up and motivated to vote. I've
- 59:46Speaker 1: noticed some Democrats are getting a little nervous. Republicans are
- 59:49Speaker 1: getting a little too cocky. I'm not going to make
- 59:52Speaker 1: any assessment other than could be a really good sign.
- 59:55Speaker 1: Could be that Democrats historically turn out early and then
- 59:58Speaker 1: Republicans are doing it now, too, to compete. That would
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: be a good sign. Could be a bad sign. Could
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: be just historic amounts of Democrats are turning out. I
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: don't know that because a lot of the red counties
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: are also getting massive turnout, and these are counties that
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: Trump won by massive amounts, and those tend to bode
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: well for Republicans. Montgomery County had huge turnout yesterday, and
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: that's very red county. Some of the other counties around town,
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: Fort Bend, Brazoria, Galveston, you name it, Washington County, they're
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: all getting a good turnout. Harris County has 75 locations.
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: The Richard and Meg Weekly Community Center led all locations
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: with 3,153 votes cast by 6 p.m. yesterday. Which I
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: haven't gone out, by the way. I didn't early vote yet.
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: Cash hasn't as well. So he's planning on voting tomorrow.
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: I plan to vote sometime between now and the 30th.
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: I'm going to early vote. I like to go when
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: it's the least amount of people there so I can
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: get in and out quickly. I don't want to just
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: sit there and stand in line. I hate doing that.
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: It's funny, as much as I talk, you think I'd
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: enjoy talking to people, but I don't really, I don't,
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: it's always sort of uncomfortable for me to be standing
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: in line at an election thing talking because everybody knows
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: what you're there for, but you're not supposed to talk
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: about the election. You're not supposed to sit there and
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: just be, because I don't want to be surrounded by
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: Democrats up there and then, wait, you're Chris X? Oh, well,
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: let me tell you this. Let me tell you that. Okay, no,
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: settle down there. I'm here to vote, not here to
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: have a conversation. And I like to get in and out.
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: I like to go present my ID, get my ballot,
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: go up there, click, click, click, click, click, click, click,
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: and I'm out of there. I don't want to waste
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: any more time than I have to. So, anywho, we'll see.
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: We've already gotten one caller. Ray called in at the
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: end of last hour, and he voted up there in
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: Montgomery County in the Woodlands at the Kevin Brady Center
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: and said he waited an hour and a half. So
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: the line was still big. That was like 845 this morning.
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: He said the line had probably dropped to about 45
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: minutes by the time he had left and voted. Have
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: you gotten out and early voted today compared to yesterday?
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: What were you seeing in your parts of town? 281-558-KSEV.
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: 281-558-5738 if you want to let us know. Like I said,
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: Cash is going to get out and probably vote tomorrow.
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: I may vote tomorrow. We'll see. It's still a little,
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: I'll just say a little hot for me, not temperature-wise.
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: Voter turnout-wise, I want to go somewhere and vote where
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: there's not a big turnout. So we'll see where I go, but...
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: Definitely want to get out and vote. I usually try
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: to go sometime either before lunch or after lunch. I
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: try to get the in-between crowds. I know a lot
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: of people will take off for lunch and go vote. So,
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: but anyway, did you get out and vote today? What
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: have you seen? Has anybody been seeing any of the lines?
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: Because yesterday, it was huge turnout for the first day
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: of early voting.
- 1:03:05Speaker 9: 281-558-KSEV, 281-558-5738.
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: President Trump announced $ 8 billion in relief to help farmers
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: with the high diesel costs. Farmers across the U.S. will
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: soon get relief from the cost of this diesel, Trump said,
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: at his rally near Wichita, Kansas, according to CBS News.
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: He's been rallying to Americans in the November midterms, and
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: it looks like He's getting a November sort of, I'm sorry,
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: a presidential turnout so far. He made the announcement to
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: a packed crowd yesterday. I'm pleased to announce the Department
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: of Agriculture will be launching a new harvest fuel relief program,
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: providing our farmers with $ 8 billion in support to offset
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: diesel cost of this harvest season. And Roger Marshall is
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: the leader for that, who fought for that to happen.
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: Roger got it to happen. Good job, Roger, he said.
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: Good job, Roger. Excellent work, okay? He's running against Democrat
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: Adam Hamilton in the U.S. Senate race. And when Republicans win,
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: we will pass even more funding to our farmers. We
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: love our farmers. And remember, I just gave the farmers
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: $ 12 billion in my first term. I gave them $ 28 billion,
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: if you remember. That came out of the tariff money
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: from China, okay? When China paid it. It was a
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: gift from China. Trump also announced the first, well, the
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: fraud whistleblowers incentive program. Because we know there's probably a
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: trillion dollars in fraud. He said if you discover fraud,
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: you're an independent journalist, you may get paid a percentage
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: of that fraud amount. This is in response to California's
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: Stop Nick Shirley Act, which was trying to shut down
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: Nick Shirley or any sort of independent journalist going and
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: investigating fraud. That's how California, that's how rife with fraud
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: they are. They pass laws to stop independent journalists. Trump
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: has turned the tables on the dirtbags. Good idea. And
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: he also said, hey, listen, if you're a mainstream media,
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: you work for a newsroom, you discover it, you could
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: get paid as well. All right, 281-558-KSEV. What are you
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: seeing at the election sites? Did you get out and vote?
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: Let's go right back to the phones. Pick up with
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: Jason listening in Bear Creek. Jason, thanks for hanging on.
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: Welcome to Chris X Radio.
- 1:05:27Speaker 33: You got it, man.
- 1:05:28Speaker 34: Hey, I just left the credit building over here off
- 1:05:32Speaker 34: of Clay Road, and I parked. I was in and
- 1:05:35Speaker 34: out in less than 15 minutes, and there was a line,
- 1:05:38Speaker 34: but it is moving very fast. So it was nice.
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: Okay, which location is this off Clay Road?
- 1:05:46Speaker 34: Yeah, the one over on Clay Road, it's the new community.
- 1:05:49Speaker 5: Center over here.
- 1:05:49Speaker 34: It's been there about four or five years now. I
- 1:05:51Speaker 34: think it's the Radek building, Steve Radek or something like that.
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: Oh, I think it is a Steve Radek. Is that
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: inside or just outside of Highway 6?
- 1:06:00Speaker 34: Just outside of Highway 6, just past, maybe about where
- 1:06:04Speaker 34: Greenhouse is, Greenhouse and Clay.
- 1:06:06Speaker 27: Okay.
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: I have voted there in the past. I remember voting
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: there a while back. Before it was the Steve Radek building,
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: so I think you're right. But you said really, so
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: you were in and out 15 minutes, no big crowds?
- 1:06:17Speaker 34: No, there was a line, yes, and there was a
- 1:06:19Speaker 34: lot of people. I wouldn't say a lot of people,
- 1:06:21Speaker 34: but there's probably 100 people in line, but it was
- 1:06:23Speaker 34: just moving super fast.
- 1:06:25Speaker 9: I mean, it was in and out.
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: Okay, so they were being very efficient.
- 1:06:29Speaker 9: There is a line, but it's very smooth. They're being efficient.
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: No, that's awesome. Thank you for the call, Jason. I
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: appreciate it. Thanks for the update. I was trying to
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: remember which building. I know there's that area. There's another
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: one not too far from there near Bear Creek Park.
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: And you're calling from Bear Creek, which is that's a
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: little outside of the Bear Creek area. But there's another one.
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: I do believe another voting location in Bear Creek in
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: Bear Creek in the park. I remember when I lived
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: over in that area. Voting there multiple times. So there's
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: that area. That's one to distinguish the two. But so
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: he said there was a decent line. There were people there,
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: but he was in that 15 minutes. They're moving it efficiently.
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: And and well, that's good sign. Probably pretty good area
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: to make maybe. Very good as far as voting is concerned.
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: What have you seen? Have you gotten out and voted today? 281-558-KSEV, 281-558-5738.
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: I'll be interested to see if we break another record today.
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: From the looks of things, from what I'm hearing, it
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: looks like we just might. It looks like we're still
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: getting good turnout. I'm glad to see their areas. You know,
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: caller yesterday went to Conroe and it was way too
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: busy in Conroe. And then he said, you know, it
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: was probably an over hour wait, but then he went
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: to Willis and he was in and out five minutes.
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: So there are some areas where you can go and
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: get in and out quickly. So if you want to
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: get out, like I said, I plan to go a
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: little later this week. Cash said he plans to go tomorrow.
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: So we'll see if we can get out and get
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: the vote in. I like to early vote. I totally
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: forgot to ask Matt Locke, is he still an Election
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: Day voter or is he going to early vote? Last
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: time I remember, I think he's an Election Day voter.
- 1:08:04Speaker 25: So.
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: But I'm not. I'm an early voter. I like to
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: get in and out, get my voting done quickly. But
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: then again, the whole reason I like to early vote
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: is I don't want to stand in line for an hour.
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: And then the other thing, too, is when you do
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: a radio show, you're on a bit of a time crunch.
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: I only have so much time to prepare for the program,
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: and then I have to be back in time for
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: the show. Cash, how would you feel tomorrow if I
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: just said, Cash, start the show. I'm standing in line
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: waiting to vote. You take it over, okay? I think
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: that's exactly how it would sound. Dead air. Dead air.
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: So President Trump also torched Alyssa Slotkin yesterday after they
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: released a video of her targeting young conservatives and threatening them.
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: Saying if they want to work in a Republican administration,
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: they're going to be hassled. They're going to be prosecuted.
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: They're going to make their life hell. So they won't
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: even consider it. Talk about government overreach. Talk about those
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: on the dirtbag side of the aisle. According to this
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: article over at Red State, she then made things worse
- 1:09:14Speaker 1: for herself with a response to the backlash. She tried
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: to argue that President Trump had weaponized the government against
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: her and that those who violated the law to carry
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: out guidance for the president should be held accountable. Of course,
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: anyone who saw the video knows that wasn't what she
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: was saying at all. She didn't even mention it. She
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: was just saying she wanted to warn young people off
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: from working in the Trump administration because it could have consequences.
- 1:09:39Speaker 1: President Trump replied to Slotkin, saying, that's a hell of
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: a statement. Slotkin said there should be prosecutions in order
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: to scare young people from going into politics. That's what
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: Democrats do. That's what they do. That's all they're good at.
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: And you know what? That's why they're getting their asses kicked.
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: They weaponized government. Slotkin is a lowlife who is ruining
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: a state, just destroying a state. What they're doing is
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: really discouraging people from going into politics. They've weaponized the government.
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: That's what they've done. Trump is right. That's how Democrats are.
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: That's what they did when they went after him. And
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: then what's funny is then you have corruptocrats, corrupt dirtbags
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: like Ilhan Omar, and they go after her and then
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: they just scream, oh, my God, lawfare, lawfare, lawfare. No,
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: you're a liar-fare. What's happening is that the Democrats' craziness
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: on a variety of different issues, including this one, is
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: whipping people up who are getting out and voting for
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: Republicans to stop this craziness since Slotkin has now basically
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: revealed their game plan. So the author over at Red
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: State says, keep talking, Senator Slotkin. Keep letting the people
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: know they need to vote for Republicans. It's almost that simple.
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: It really is. All right, you're listening to Chris X Radio.
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: We'll take a first break. Here in the second hour,
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: we're just getting started. If you want to join us,
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: did you get out and vote? Did you vote today?
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: What did you see? What's happening here on day two
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: of early voting? So far, it looks not too bad.
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: I'd say the one over there off Clay Road, just
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: outside over there near Greenhouse. I do believe it is
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: right near Greenhouse. Said it was in and out in
- 1:11:21Speaker 1: 15 minutes. Said there was still a fair amount of
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: people in line, but it was just moving very efficiently
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: and very quickly. Tells me that's a red area. 281-558-KSEV, 281-558-573.

- 1:12:33Speaker 26: I'm Mike Schofield and I will always keep you and
- 1:12:36Speaker 26: your family first. As your state representative, I'm working to
- 1:12:40Speaker 26: pass tough new laws forcing liberal district attorneys to prosecute
- 1:12:44Speaker 26: violent offenders, to keep them off the streets and behind
- 1:12:47Speaker 26: bars where they belong. Protecting our families and our community
- 1:12:50Speaker 26: is important to me. That's why I passed a tough
- 1:12:53Speaker 26: new law protecting children from criminals engaged in human trafficking.
- 1:12:57Speaker 23: Let's keep Mike Schofield working for us. Mike Schofield is
- 1:13:01Speaker 23: fighting to keep our economy strong by supporting small businesses.
- 1:13:06Speaker 26: I know that to stop inflation and create better local jobs,
- 1:13:10Speaker 26: we must cut taxes and burdensome regulations on small businesses.
- 1:13:14Speaker 26: As your state representative, I believe that small business is
- 1:13:17Speaker 26: the heartbeat of our local economy. That's why I champion
- 1:13:20Speaker 26: policies to stop the rising cost on small businesses, helping
- 1:13:24Speaker 26: them keep more of their hard-earned dollars.
- 1:13:26Speaker 23: Let's keep Mike Schofield working for us.
- 1:13:30Speaker 26: Paid political ad, Mike Schofield Campaign.

- 1:13:46Speaker 4: right here on AM700 KSCV. When it comes to.
- 1:13:49Speaker 3: Garage doors, no one knows more than a doctor.
- 1:13:56Speaker 6: We got a call late New Year's Eve.
- 1:13:57Speaker 32: A father with big plans for his family the next
- 1:13:59Speaker 32: day said his garage door spring just snapped. He couldn't
- 1:14:02Speaker 32: get his car out and wouldn't be able to get
- 1:14:04Speaker 32: his family to where they needed to go.
- 1:14:06Speaker 6: He felt stuck and alone.
- 1:14:07Speaker 32: So we showed up fast with the right spring and
- 1:14:10Speaker 32: the right parts to fix it right.
- 1:14:11Speaker 6: We didn't talk about the price. We didn't wait till
- 1:14:13Speaker 6: the morning. We fixed it right then.
- 1:14:16Speaker 32: Because at Garage Door Doctor, it's never just about the job.
- 1:14:19Speaker 6: It's about the person behind it.
- 1:14:21Speaker 32: The dad, the veteran, the grandpa, the neighbor.
- 1:14:24Speaker 6: Hi, I'm Tommy Mello, owner of Garage Door Doctor. When
- 1:14:27Speaker 6: you need help, we're the ones that show up.

- 1:14:36Speaker 32: last a lifetime.
- 1:14:37Speaker 6: Because we're proud to serve the people who rely on us.
- 1:14:40Speaker 7: When it comes to garage doors, no one knows more
- 1:14:43Speaker 7: than the doctor.
- 1:14:48Speaker 3: And now, back to Chris X Radio on The Voice
- 1:14:51Speaker 3: of Texas.
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: You know, Cash, I really want to be able to
- 1:15:02Speaker 1: dedicate this song to James Talafrico after the election. I
- 1:15:05Speaker 1: really want to, so.
- 1:15:07Speaker 21: Do it.
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: We'll hold off on that. We'll hold off.
- 1:15:09Speaker 15: No, we're holding off.
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: Yeah, we won't do it just yet. I want to
- 1:15:12Speaker 1: make sure it happens first. Oh, dear Lord. I thought
- 1:15:17Speaker 1: it was bad when Beto was running. Now we got
- 1:15:21Speaker 1: baby Beto Jesus. Heretic running is weird. Anyway, welcome back
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: to Chris X Radio. I'm the aforementioned X-Man. Glad to
- 1:15:29Speaker 1: have you here with us. If you want to join us, 281-558-KSEV, 281-558-5738. Okay,
- 1:15:35Speaker 1: so a couple of calls today. We got one at
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: least up in the woodland. Said it was about an
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: hour and a half wait early this morning, but it
- 1:15:41Speaker 1: looked like it was about 45 minutes to wait to
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: vote after he left. And then we had somebody over
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: in the Bear Creek area that said it was in
- 1:15:49Speaker 1: and out 15 minutes. There were plenty of people at
- 1:15:51Speaker 1: the place he did. Said it wasn't empty. So there
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: are plenty of people, but they were real efficient. He
- 1:15:56Speaker 1: was getting in and out in 15 minutes. Did anybody
- 1:15:58Speaker 1: else get out and vote? Did you get out and
- 1:15:59Speaker 1: vote today? How was your experience? 281-558-KSCV, 281-558-5738. Once again,
- 1:16:02Speaker 1: I plan to get out and early vote. Cash said
- 1:16:10Speaker 1: he's going to get out and early vote. And remember,
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: you got until the 30th. So that's all this weekend,
- 1:16:16Speaker 1: next week, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., except on Sunday,
- 1:16:19Speaker 1: which is noon to 7. So you got plenty of
- 1:16:21Speaker 1: time to early vote if you want to. And then
- 1:16:22Speaker 1: election day is coming up on Tuesday, November 3rd, from
- 1:16:25Speaker 1: 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. I plan to have voted
- 1:16:28Speaker 1: well before then. I like to get it done via
- 1:16:31Speaker 1: early voting, get it done quick and early. All right,
- 1:16:34Speaker 1: let's go right back to the phones. Let's pick up
- 1:16:35Speaker 1: with Park listening in Lake Jackson. Park, thank you for
- 1:16:37Speaker 1: hanging on. Welcome to Chris X Radio.
- 1:16:40Speaker 21: Good afternoon, Chris X. I didn't vote today. I voted yesterday.
- 1:16:44Speaker 21: But a friend of mine in New Braunfels said he
- 1:16:47Speaker 21: waited in line about an hour. And he said that
- 1:16:56Speaker 21: the line was longer when they left than when he
- 1:17:00Speaker 21: got there. So that was a good sign because that's
- 1:17:03Speaker 21: a pretty red area right over there where he's at.
- 1:17:07Speaker 21: And an interesting thing happened to me last night. I
- 1:17:11Speaker 21: got polled by Emerson Polling Company.
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: Wow.
- 1:17:16Speaker 21: Yeah, you always hear people say they've never been polled,
- 1:17:19Speaker 21: but I've been polled several times, mostly in primaries, because
- 1:17:25Speaker 21: I think what they do there is they look at
- 1:17:26Speaker 21: the voting records to see who consistently votes in primaries.
- 1:17:31Speaker 21: But I've never been polled, at least over the phone,
- 1:17:36Speaker 21: in a general election. Anyway, I went and answered all
- 1:17:38Speaker 21: the questions. And then the last couple, they asked me
- 1:17:42Speaker 21: what my party affiliation was and what my gender was.
- 1:17:46Speaker 21: And when I told them those two questions, the call
- 1:17:49Speaker 21: just stopped. Usually when I get told, they say, thank you.
- 1:17:54Speaker 21: And apparently this time they just shut her down. So
- 1:17:58Speaker 21: I don't know whether they're going to tally my comments
- 1:18:01Speaker 21: or not.
- 1:18:01Speaker 16: Hmm.
- 1:18:04Speaker 21: Yeah, I mean, when you think about it, when they
- 1:18:07Speaker 21: always say, well, we polled 1,500 people, you know, likely voters,
- 1:18:12Speaker 21: you don't know exactly how many they actually talked to
- 1:18:14Speaker 21: to get those 1,500. They might have polled 3,500 and
- 1:18:19Speaker 21: didn't like what they got because their candidate wasn't doing
- 1:18:22Speaker 21: so well. So take that however you want to, but
- 1:18:25Speaker 21: I mean... Yeah, that's interesting. I suspect all these polls myself, yes.
- 1:18:31Speaker 21: And can I make a song dedication to... Trans Rico.
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: Sure, go right ahead.
- 1:18:38Speaker 21: Lola by the Kinks.
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: Thanks for the call, Mark. That is a great song,
- 1:18:45Speaker 1: by the way. I love that song. First of all,
- 1:18:48Speaker 1: the lyrics are hilarious. good, and especially considering it came
- 1:18:52Speaker 1: out in the early 70s, which is amazing. But it showed,
- 1:18:57Speaker 1: of course, the times. And it was based loosely upon
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: a real story. Not everything was the same. But some
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: of the lines in that song are the most historic
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: lines of a song ever. And it's a well-written song.
- 1:19:08Speaker 1: It's a great song. But I really enjoy the song.
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: I left home just a week before, and I never,
- 1:19:15Speaker 1: ever kissed a woman before. But Lola smiled, took me
- 1:19:18Speaker 1: by the hand, said, Dear boy, gonna make you a man. well,
- 1:19:22Speaker 1: I'm not the world's most passionate man, but I know
- 1:19:24Speaker 1: what I am. And I bet I'm a man. And
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: so is Lola. Such a great song. And they said
- 1:19:32Speaker 1: it was based loosely. I remember, was it Rick Davies
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: or Dave Davies, whatever guy with the kinks was, and
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: he was telling the story about how they went out
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: to a bar. There was a young man and it
- 1:19:43Speaker 1: wasn't exactly verbatim, but they took it. That's how most
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: songs develop. And, uh, and they said, that's what happened. It,
- 1:19:52Speaker 1: he was a little surprised, which I, you know, what's funny. I,
- 1:19:56Speaker 1: I have my own Lola story. Well, it wasn't mine.
- 1:19:59Speaker 1: I remember going to, we were talking about restaurants last week,
- 1:20:01Speaker 1: Bennigan's with my friend. I won't use his name, but there,
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: there was a couple, there's three or four girls that
- 1:20:07Speaker 1: were there and they were, Hey, come to the table
- 1:20:08Speaker 1: or whatever. And there was one girl there that when
- 1:20:12Speaker 1: I got there, of course I got there late. He's like, man,
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: this girl's really into me. And I got there and he,
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: I will not say his name. Gotta be very careful. And,
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: They were doing certain drinks and things, and then they
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: all went to the restroom at the same time, and
- 1:20:27Speaker 1: I had to tell them, hey, that one that's really
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: into you, I don't think that's a woman. And he's like, what?
- 1:20:33Speaker 1: What are you talking about? I went, this is back
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: before Crocodile Dundee. So there was that check, but I said...
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: he seems to have an Adam's apple. I don't think
- 1:20:43Speaker 1: it's a woman. So be very careful. I mean, I
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: don't know for sure. I can't, I can't don't have
- 1:20:48Speaker 1: a DNA test here, but, but nonetheless, and it was
- 1:20:51Speaker 1: funny because when they came back, it was a lot
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: more obvious. And Lisa say he freaked out. He was like,
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: Oh my God, because he was thinking, Hey, maybe it
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: was going to have a date with her.
- 1:21:01Speaker 16: Him.
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: It's kind of funny. And then I just remember at
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: a certain point in the evening as we were checking
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: out to kind of get away, because Bennigan's, that was
- 1:21:11Speaker 1: when it was, man, they were everywhere. And I won't
- 1:21:13Speaker 1: say which Bennigan's this was at, but we ended up,
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: you know, going out. Like, I usually love to go
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: there to get the fried mozzarella. So good. Watch out, man.
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: I'm hungry right now, so that sounds really good. But
- 1:21:24Speaker 1: we went over to eat at a table, and he
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: was freaked out the entire time. And I said, it's okay.
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: She had long hair. She looked like a girl, acted
- 1:21:31Speaker 1: like a girl. But then if you really paid attention
- 1:21:34Speaker 1: when you have to be, sometimes you got to be
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: called to that. It can, it can be confusing. So,
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: so like I said, I had my own Lola song story.
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: I should have wrote a song about him. Could have
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: been a multimillionaire. All right, let's take a break. We'll
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: come back, get more of your calls on the other side.
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: Hopefully not a lot of you others have had Lola stories.
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: I remember years ago, I got set up on a
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: blind date. by a friend of mine. His girlfriend was
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: a hairdresser and he sent me up on a date.
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: And soon as I got there, I was like, this
- 1:22:04Speaker 1: is a man. Hey, nice to meet you. Sorry. And
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: she realized, he realized right away, okay, this ain't happening.
- 1:22:14Speaker 1: There wasn't much of a date there. Met at a place,
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: hung out for a couple of minutes. Like, see you later.
- 1:22:19Speaker 1: I take care. And I wish nothing but the best
- 1:22:21Speaker 1: for him. I have no problem. Just not my, I'm
- 1:22:24Speaker 1: no James Tallariga, I'll tell you that. All right, 281-558-KSEV, 281-558-5738.
- 1:22:28Speaker 1: I'm Chris X. We'll be right back. Don't go away.

- 1:26:51Speaker 1: back to the phones, pick up with Sharon in West Houston. Sharon,
- 1:26:54Speaker 1: thanks for hanging on. Welcome to Chris X Radio.
- 1:26:59Speaker 16: Hi, Chris.
- 1:27:00Speaker 35: Let me turn my speaker off so you can hear
- 1:27:02Speaker 35: me better. Yes, I've already voted. I voted weeks ago.
- 1:27:06Speaker 35: I sent my ballot in by mail. And I've learned
- 1:27:11Speaker 35: that you can call the election office to find out
- 1:27:15Speaker 35: if they got your ballot and if they received it
- 1:27:18Speaker 35: and accepted it. Because in years past, sometimes they'd get
- 1:27:23Speaker 35: my ballot and they didn't accept it because I didn't
- 1:27:25Speaker 35: check one tiny thing. little box in the corner or something. Anyway,
- 1:27:30Speaker 35: my ballot's been received and accepted, so I feel really
- 1:27:34Speaker 35: good about that. But I have a question for you.
- 1:27:38Speaker 35: I'm remembering the midterm election, I think it was the
- 1:27:42Speaker 35: last one we went through, and Alex Mueller was running
- 1:27:46Speaker 35: and a number of strong Republican candidates, but Lena Hidalgo
- 1:27:53Speaker 35: appointed an election administrator to to be in charge of
- 1:27:57Speaker 35: our elections instead of our county clerk, which is what
- 1:28:01Speaker 35: it's always been. County clerk is in charge of elections. Well,
- 1:28:05Speaker 35: this election administrator was very crooked. And I think, if
- 1:28:11Speaker 35: you remember, help me remember, I think that's the one
- 1:28:14Speaker 35: where they didn't have any papers. They withheld paper ballots
- 1:28:18Speaker 35: from conservative areas. And there was just a huge, big fraud,
- 1:28:23Speaker 35: like in-your-face fraud, for the whole election. And so I'm
- 1:28:28Speaker 35: wondering if President Trump, if this offer he's made to
- 1:28:34Speaker 35: reward whistleblowers, does that include election fraud too? Because our
- 1:28:40Speaker 35: last midterm election, there was so much Democrat fraud, it
- 1:28:43Speaker 35: was just pathetic. And nobody ever held them to account.
- 1:28:49Speaker 1: Well, I'll tell you this. Yes, you are remembering correctly.
- 1:28:51Speaker 1: That was the one guy they brought in from Washington, D.C.,
- 1:28:54Speaker 1: after botching, quote, unquote, elections up in D.C. They brought
- 1:28:57Speaker 1: him here. He was the second elections administrator that Lena
- 1:29:00Speaker 1: Hidalgo had brought in who, quote, unquote, botched the election. Yeah,
- 1:29:04Speaker 1: it was 27 precincts that ran out of paper, and
- 1:29:08Speaker 1: they couldn't get a hold of the guy whose full-time
- 1:29:11Speaker 1: job they had hired to provide the precincts with paper.
- 1:29:14Speaker 1: He was working another full-time job and didn't answer his
- 1:29:17Speaker 1: phone until after 5 p.m. or 6 p.m. So, yeah,
- 1:29:20Speaker 1: there was clearly some issues there that, once again, they
- 1:29:23Speaker 1: just blamed on ineptitude. And that led to Senator Betancourt
- 1:29:27Speaker 1: and others passing an election law that, you know, the
- 1:29:30Speaker 1: big counties can no longer have elections administrators. They got
- 1:29:33Speaker 1: to turn it over. to the district clerks, as you
- 1:29:35Speaker 1: pointed out. So it's back to that. And since they've
- 1:29:38Speaker 1: done that, we have had very little or almost no
- 1:29:40Speaker 1: issues with the election since then. I don't know. I
- 1:29:44Speaker 1: guess maybe you could probably contact the Trump administration when
- 1:29:47Speaker 1: they get everything set up and see. I think the
- 1:29:50Speaker 1: fraud that he's more talking about is the money fraud
- 1:29:54Speaker 1: where they're People are misallocating or stealing billions and billions
- 1:29:57Speaker 1: of dollars. So a percentage of that money is the
- 1:30:01Speaker 1: one that would be handed out to those who are
- 1:30:04Speaker 1: exposing that fraud and turning it over and, of course, getting,
- 1:30:06Speaker 1: I guess, a conviction and that sort of thing. So
- 1:30:09Speaker 1: I don't know if that necessarily goes directly, but I
- 1:30:11Speaker 1: tend to feel exactly the way that you did. The
- 1:30:14Speaker 1: Democrats got away with it under the guise of ineptitude,
- 1:30:17Speaker 1: which is how they often cheat in these elections, and
- 1:30:20Speaker 1: they're very good at it.
- 1:30:22Speaker 35: Yeah, and we all need to keep our eyes open
- 1:30:24Speaker 35: because when Democrats are in charge, there is so much
- 1:30:28Speaker 35: fraud going on. So, yeah, and I'm glad. I enjoyed
- 1:30:32Speaker 35: your interview with Matt Locke.
- 1:30:34Speaker 16: I agree with him.
- 1:30:35Speaker 35: This is a great, big, huge, big deal that President
- 1:30:40Speaker 35: Trump has done. He's just made all the citizens. How
- 1:30:44Speaker 35: did he say it?
- 1:30:45Speaker 17: He's made us all.
- 1:30:46Speaker 35: Sheriffs or deputies to.
- 1:30:50Speaker 2: Watch out for fraud.
- 1:30:52Speaker 1: Yeah, he's basically deputized the electorate. Thanks for the call, Sharon.
- 1:30:54Speaker 1: I appreciate it. Yeah, he's he's basically deputized American people
- 1:30:58Speaker 1: to go through there and try to root out fraud.
- 1:31:00Speaker 1: And it was funny because one of the reporters in
- 1:31:03Speaker 1: there was trying to say, isn't this a bad idea
- 1:31:05Speaker 1: to have people looking for fraud? And maybe people are
- 1:31:09Speaker 1: trying to get basically. And J.D. Vance, of course, lit
- 1:31:11Speaker 1: up the reporter. and said, no, it's not a bad idea.
- 1:31:14Speaker 1: If there's no conviction there, you don't have anything to
- 1:31:16Speaker 1: worry about. This is incentivizing people to go after these
- 1:31:21Speaker 1: dirtbags who are stealing roughly trillions of dollars. You go
- 1:31:25Speaker 1: look at the Somali fraud alone in Minnesota when you
- 1:31:28Speaker 1: got dirtbags like Tim Walls and Keith Ellison who made
- 1:31:33Speaker 1: a point to not only deter whistleblowing, but they tried
- 1:31:37Speaker 1: to shut them down and ruin them to make sure
- 1:31:39Speaker 1: that nobody was investigating their fraud. And what's the problem is.
- 1:31:44Speaker 1: This is why I call them dirtbags. They're so good
- 1:31:47Speaker 1: at lying, cheating and stealing that they can do that.
- 1:31:50Speaker 1: Once again, elections administrators have to be brought in because
- 1:31:53Speaker 1: the district clerks aren't good enough. The county clerks aren't
- 1:31:56Speaker 1: good enough to conduct elections. So we will bring in
- 1:31:58Speaker 1: our own handpick district clerks who both of them, one
- 1:32:01Speaker 1: of them, I can't remember either of their names off
- 1:32:04Speaker 1: the top of my head. Cash, if you want to
- 1:32:05Speaker 1: look that up for me, get both of their names,
- 1:32:08Speaker 1: the elections administrators they brought into Harris County, both of
- 1:32:11Speaker 1: them botched, quote unquote, botched election after election, which since
- 1:32:16Speaker 1: 2018 that allowed Democrats to can slowly but surely consolidate power.
- 1:32:21Speaker 1: Each election, each election due to mistakes and just ineptitude
- 1:32:26Speaker 1: somehow allowed Democrats to continue to win elections. and consolidate
- 1:32:30Speaker 1: power to where eventually once again the state had to
- 1:32:32Speaker 1: step in stop them get rid of this garbage turn
- 1:32:35Speaker 1: it back over to the elected officials now do i
- 1:32:38Speaker 1: trust democrats absolutely not no no no no one thing
- 1:32:43Speaker 1: i've learned The one thing you can always trust is
- 1:32:47Speaker 1: not to trust Democrats with anything. But that being said,
- 1:32:50Speaker 1: those that are duly elected tend to conduct elections far
- 1:32:55Speaker 1: better than ones that don't. So in Harris County, we
- 1:32:58Speaker 1: turned it back over to Democrats. Was it Tanisha Hudson?
- 1:33:01Speaker 1: whatever the other one is, they've put those people in charge,
- 1:33:05Speaker 1: and they seem to be doing a far better job.
- 1:33:08Speaker 1: It's night and day. Now, I don't want to go
- 1:33:10Speaker 1: back into the past and fight battles that are long over,
- 1:33:12Speaker 1: but that being said, we saw what happened. You were right.
- 1:33:15Speaker 1: That was Alex Mueller. She was in that election since then.
- 1:33:17Speaker 1: She's now run. She's the candidate over in the Baytown area.
- 1:33:21Speaker 1: I can't remember. But she's over in that area, and
- 1:33:24Speaker 1: she's going up against the Democrats. She's got to lead
- 1:33:26Speaker 1: according to the polls, so she will probably be the
- 1:33:29Speaker 1: next representative from that area. And I can't remember exactly
- 1:33:32Speaker 1: which district it is. But nonetheless, that is a good
- 1:33:35Speaker 1: strategy by the Democrats to, once again, the duly elected
- 1:33:40Speaker 1: officials aren't good enough or qualified enough to conduct elections.
- 1:33:44Speaker 1: We bring in elections administrators that botch election after election
- 1:33:48Speaker 1: after election. And that happened recently. For six, eight years
- 1:33:54Speaker 1: here in Harris County until it was so bad, the
- 1:33:56Speaker 1: state stepped in and went, no, no, no, no, no
- 1:33:58Speaker 1: more elections administrators. You guys can no longer do this.
- 1:34:01Speaker 1: It needs to be conducted. Elections need to be conducted
- 1:34:05Speaker 1: in Harris County by elected officials. And that has literally
- 1:34:08Speaker 1: changed the dynamics.
- 1:34:10Speaker 15: No.
- 1:34:10Speaker 1: Is it perfect?
- 1:34:11Speaker 21: No.
- 1:34:11Speaker 1: Do Democrats ultimately find other ways to cheat? Absolutely. 100%.
- 1:34:16Speaker 1: They'll find new ways. They always do. The Marxists are
- 1:34:20Speaker 1: always on the march. They're always going to find new
- 1:34:24Speaker 1: ways to hunt you down and rule over you. But
- 1:34:27Speaker 1: that being said, it is not the dirtbag from D.C.,
- 1:34:30Speaker 1: which I can't remember that guy's name. And then the
- 1:34:32Speaker 1: other lady they hired, the first one, who looked like
- 1:34:35Speaker 1: Jonah Hill. It was ridiculous. Maybe, you know what, maybe
- 1:34:40Speaker 1: we'll go and take a break and I'll look them up.
- 1:34:41Speaker 1: I don't know, Cash, were you able to find them?
- 1:34:43Speaker 1: Did you look them up or no? I'm still looking.
- 1:34:46Speaker 17: Okay, man.
- 1:34:47Speaker 1: Those darn pigeons are a little slow sometimes. Anyway, thanks
- 1:34:50Speaker 1: for the call. I appreciate it. But those times have
- 1:34:52Speaker 1: come and gone and now they're over. But not before
- 1:34:55Speaker 1: the Democrats were able to consolidate a whole lot of
- 1:34:57Speaker 1: power under the guise of ineptitude. So there you go.
- 1:35:04Speaker 1: The good thing is so far after day one, it
- 1:35:06Speaker 1: looks like halfway, three quarters of the way through day two.
- 1:35:10Speaker 1: Looks like we haven't had any issues in any locations,
- 1:35:13Speaker 1: which is hands down better than it was 22 or 23,
- 1:35:16Speaker 1: I believe, the one you're referring to, where the 27
- 1:35:19Speaker 1: precincts ran out of ballot paper. They ran out. Some
- 1:35:22Speaker 1: ran out by noon. Some ran out by 1 or 2.
- 1:35:25Speaker 1: And the guy was MIA. No one could find him
- 1:35:27Speaker 1: because he was working another full-time job and did not
- 1:35:30Speaker 1: even answer his phone until after 6 p.m.
- 1:35:32Speaker 24: Chris Hollins?
- 1:35:34Speaker 1: No, he was a different one, no. I'll look it
- 1:35:37Speaker 1: up here during the break. I'll find out. He's running
- 1:35:40Speaker 1: for something. He's Obama-lite. He's one of those. I do
- 1:35:45Speaker 1: believe he's working on a good Obama impression, like Talofrico. Man,
- 1:35:50Speaker 1: what's funny is people put some of the compilation videos
- 1:35:53Speaker 1: of Talofrico saying exactly the same thing Obama was, exactly
- 1:35:57Speaker 1: the same way. It's part of their strategy. All right,
- 1:35:59Speaker 1: let's take a break. 281-558-KSEV. We'll be right back. Chris.

- 1:37:31Speaker 1: Over 40 years.
- 1:37:32Speaker 37: It's not a pretty truck, but it has everything we
- 1:37:34Speaker 37: need to get the job done. I kind of like
- 1:37:35Speaker 37: the way it looks.
- 1:37:36Speaker 36: Most roofing repairs cost less than $ 500. Why? Because we
- 1:37:40Speaker 36: find the cause of the leak and repair that leak.

- 1:38:13Speaker 2: As a Texan, you deserve your court system to deliver
- 1:38:16Speaker 2: justice that is fair, understandable, and within reach. Chief Justice
- 1:38:20Speaker 2: Jimmy Blacklock says that starts with judges applying the law
- 1:38:23Speaker 2: as written, so the rules don't change depending on who
- 1:38:26Speaker 2: walks into the courtroom. But fairness also means a court
- 1:38:29Speaker 2: system that works for the people it serves. Blacklock has
- 1:38:32Speaker 2: called for reducing unnecessary delays and expenses, simplifying court procedures,
- 1:38:37Speaker 2: and making legal services more affordable. because a case should
- 1:38:41Speaker 2: be decided on the facts and the law, not on
- 1:38:44Speaker 2: who can afford the longest fight. Texas courts belong to
- 1:38:47Speaker 2: the people. That means judges should be accountable, rules should
- 1:38:51Speaker 2: be clear, and the system should be accessible to those
- 1:38:53Speaker 2: who rely on it. For Blacklock, equal justice means more
- 1:38:57Speaker 2: than a principle. It means a court system Texans can understand, trust,
- 1:39:01Speaker 2: and afford to use. Chief Justice Jimmy Blacklock. Clear rules.
- 1:39:06Speaker 2: Accountable courts. Equal justice under law.
- 1:39:09Speaker 1: Political ad paid for by the jimmy blacklock campaign.
- 1:39:12Speaker 3: And now back to chris x radio on the voice
- 1:39:16Speaker 3: of texas.
- 1:39:23Speaker 1: This is sort of how the elections administrators operated in
- 1:39:26Speaker 1: harris county it was a ballroom blitz at the election
- 1:39:29Speaker 1: time they were grabbing it with both fists chester By
- 1:39:33Speaker 1: the way, I looked it up during the break and
- 1:39:34Speaker 1: I had people calling in telling me as well. So
- 1:39:37Speaker 1: Isabel Longoria was the first elections administrator in Harris County
- 1:39:41Speaker 1: who botched election after election. And then at one point,
- 1:39:44Speaker 1: about a week later, went, oh, hey, here's 10,000 more
- 1:39:46Speaker 1: votes we forgot to count. And then Clifford Tatum was
- 1:39:49Speaker 1: the one who was brought in from D.C. who botched
- 1:39:53Speaker 1: the other one, who hired the guy who had another
- 1:39:55Speaker 1: full time job to provide the paper to the districts
- 1:39:58Speaker 1: that all ran out of the precincts that all ran
- 1:40:00Speaker 1: out of. voting paper on Election Day, which caused thousands
- 1:40:04Speaker 1: of people to actually be disenfranchised. It's so funny. Democrats
- 1:40:08Speaker 1: always claim we can't disenfranchise voters, except when they do
- 1:40:12Speaker 1: it on purpose to disenfranchise voters that don't vote for them.
- 1:40:17Speaker 1: It's kind of funny. But anyway, those were the two people.
- 1:40:19Speaker 1: I remember Isabel Longoria looked like a character being portrayed
- 1:40:24Speaker 1: by Jonah Hill, if I remember correctly. I think that
- 1:40:27Speaker 1: was the guy's name. And then Clifford Tatum was just
- 1:40:29Speaker 1: your typical Washington, D.C. corruptocrat who botched elections up there
- 1:40:33Speaker 1: to come down here and botch them. Once again, botched
- 1:40:36Speaker 1: them in the manner that led to more Democrat consolidation
- 1:40:40Speaker 1: of power. Call me crazy, but mistakes don't always go
- 1:40:43Speaker 1: in the same direction, right? Isn't that the case? Isn't
- 1:40:46Speaker 1: that how it's supposed to be? Unless you're a Democrat,
- 1:40:49Speaker 1: because then it always goes that way, but it's just
- 1:40:51Speaker 1: a mistake. Anyhow, thanks for the call. I appreciate it.
- 1:40:53Speaker 1: Welcome back to Chris X Radio. You've reached the final
- 1:40:56Speaker 1: segment of today's program, our Taco 2 for Tuesday edition
- 1:41:01Speaker 1: of the program. Day number two of early voting. Looks
- 1:41:05Speaker 1: like still good turnout. We'll see if it breaks records
- 1:41:08Speaker 1: like yesterday. Day one, almost 5,000 votes were cast last
- 1:41:12Speaker 1: night or yesterday, shattering the previous day one record of
- 1:41:17Speaker 1: early voting of 63,000, so darn near almost double. And
- 1:41:22Speaker 1: that was set back in 2018. We'll see how day
- 1:41:24Speaker 1: two goes tomorrow. We'll let you know what we find
- 1:41:27Speaker 1: out here later in the program. If you want to
- 1:41:29Speaker 1: get in before we run out of time, 281-558-KSEV, 281-558-5738.
- 1:41:34Speaker 1: Let's go to Chip listening in Clear Lake. Chip, thanks
- 1:41:38Speaker 1: for hanging on. Welcome to Chris X Radio.
- 1:41:40Speaker 21: Hey, thanks, Chris.
- 1:41:42Speaker 16: Good to talk to you, buddy, from the pizza days.
- 1:41:48Speaker 1: Oh, the pizza parties. Those were a lot of fun.
- 1:41:51Speaker 16: Yeah, heck of a lot of fun.
- 1:41:52Speaker 9: Anyway, and I appreciate that.
- 1:41:54Speaker 16: Yeah, I voted today in Clear Lake. And one of
- 1:42:00Speaker 16: the locations is Diana, which is the library. Very busy.
- 1:42:07Speaker 16: They said there was probably about 30 to an hour wait.
- 1:42:11Speaker 16: But I prefer to go to Clear Lake University, Houston
- 1:42:17Speaker 16: Clear Lake University. Not as many people know about it.
- 1:42:21Speaker 16: I was in line for maybe five minutes. It was
- 1:42:25Speaker 16: busier than normal, and I usually go there sometimes. I
- 1:42:29Speaker 16: just walk right in. There's hardly anybody there. This time
- 1:42:32Speaker 16: there were a lot of people there, but I was
- 1:42:35Speaker 16: in line for five minutes.
- 1:42:38Speaker 1: That's, that's how I like to vote. I like to
- 1:42:40Speaker 1: get in and out in five minutes. I love, there's
- 1:42:42Speaker 1: only a few times I've gone where I literally, I
- 1:42:44Speaker 1: walk right in. They say, show me your ID, go vote.
- 1:42:47Speaker 1: And there's no line at all, but usually there's a
- 1:42:49Speaker 1: bit of a line and a bit of a line.
- 1:42:50Speaker 1: I don't mind, but so good. Well, thank you for
- 1:42:53Speaker 1: the update chip. I appreciate it. And I just want
- 1:42:54Speaker 1: to let you know that fortunately you gave a good report.
- 1:42:57Speaker 1: Cause if you did not come at you like spider
- 1:42:59Speaker 1: monkey chip.
- 1:43:02Speaker 17: Sure.
- 1:43:02Speaker 1: You've heard that joke probably a million times. Ricky Bobby. Yeah, Chip.
- 1:43:08Speaker 1: What do you say, Chip? I'm going to come at
- 1:43:09Speaker 1: you like a spider monkey. You going to let your
- 1:43:12Speaker 1: kids talk to me like that? Yeah, because they're winners.
- 1:43:16Speaker 1: Chip's a winner. Okay? He'll come at you like a
- 1:43:19Speaker 1: spider monkey. No, I appreciate it. It was good to
- 1:43:21Speaker 1: meet you at the pizza parties. Those were a lot
- 1:43:23Speaker 1: of fun. What's funny is hindsight looking back, we probably
- 1:43:25Speaker 1: should have had some leading up to the midterms, but.
- 1:43:30Speaker 1: I remember they kept trying to change things on us. And, man,
- 1:43:32Speaker 1: I really liked the original pizza parties we had when
- 1:43:34Speaker 1: we could do it from 4 to 6 on a
- 1:43:35Speaker 1: Friday during the Amigos, which I know they were sad
- 1:43:38Speaker 1: because I took all their listeners and we were eating
- 1:43:41Speaker 1: pizza instead. And then they got pizza, too. They always
- 1:43:44Speaker 1: get free pizza. That was the whole reasoning behind the
- 1:43:46Speaker 1: pizza parties was they're always getting free pizza. They just
- 1:43:49Speaker 1: had free pizza last week. Cash, did somebody give them
- 1:43:52Speaker 1: free pizza just on the last week's show?
- 1:43:55Speaker 2: Pizza and dessert.
- 1:43:57Speaker 1: Pizza and dessert?
- 1:43:59Speaker 21: Well.
- 1:44:00Speaker 1: I can't complain because Rich Rosso, one of the real
- 1:44:02Speaker 1: investment advisors, he bought everybody dessert at the last two
- 1:44:05Speaker 1: pizza parties. And, oh, my God, was it good. It
- 1:44:09Speaker 1: was cheesecake and, well, we're talking about Russo's Pizzeria over there.
- 1:44:14Speaker 1: Was it Westheimer and Chimney Rock, I do believe, right
- 1:44:18Speaker 1: there on the corner?
- 1:44:19Speaker 2: Yes, sir.
- 1:44:20Speaker 1: That was, man, that was, so last Friday the Amigos
- 1:44:24Speaker 1: got pizza and dessert.
- 1:44:26Speaker 26: Okay.
- 1:44:26Speaker 13: Okay.
- 1:44:27Speaker 1: All right. I'm amazed the judge doesn't weigh 500 pounds.
- 1:44:32Speaker 1: I'm amazed all of them don't weigh 500 pounds. As
- 1:44:35Speaker 1: much free pizza as they get. But that was what
- 1:44:37Speaker 1: sort of triggered having a pizza party. I made a joke.
- 1:44:41Speaker 1: I believe it was Louie the ladies man was like,
- 1:44:43Speaker 1: I'll get you some good pizza, man. I don't know
- 1:44:46Speaker 1: if that's a very good Louie. impression, but he was like,
- 1:44:48Speaker 1: I'll take you to some pizza. And then the idea
- 1:44:50Speaker 1: hit me. I was like, hey, let's have a pizza party.
- 1:44:52Speaker 1: And then we started inviting people. And needless to say,
- 1:44:55Speaker 1: the first one, I think we had about 100 people.
- 1:44:58Speaker 1: The second one, about 200 people. A ton of our
- 1:45:02Speaker 1: listeners showed up. Now, then again, can you blame them?
- 1:45:05Speaker 1: They were getting free pizza. And then by the time
- 1:45:07Speaker 1: with the third and the fourth pizza parties, they were
- 1:45:10Speaker 1: getting free dessert as well. Thanks to Rich Rosso. Got
- 1:45:13Speaker 1: to give him credit because he bought everybody dessert. Rich
- 1:45:16Speaker 1: is such a nice guy. So, and my God, I
- 1:45:19Speaker 1: just remember those last two pizza parties. The desserts were
- 1:45:24Speaker 1: so good. I remember the last time he cleaned them out,
- 1:45:28Speaker 1: they were, I guess a lot of people had already
- 1:45:30Speaker 1: ordered dessert, so there was only a few left, but
- 1:45:32Speaker 1: he cleared them out. He bought them out. So Rich
- 1:45:35Speaker 1: did real good. Anyway, thanks for the call, Chip. Good
- 1:45:37Speaker 1: to hear from you. Glad you had fun. Maybe we'll
- 1:45:39Speaker 1: bring back the pizza parties next year. Now that we're
- 1:45:42Speaker 1: into the holiday season between Halloween coming up here in a,
- 1:45:45Speaker 1: what is it, 11 days? 11 days Halloween. So you
- 1:45:50Speaker 1: get that, and then you get November, which leads to
- 1:45:54Speaker 1: Thanksgiving and then Christmas. So maybe we'll do some next year.
- 1:45:58Speaker 1: Maybe we'll bring them back. If we can do it
- 1:46:00Speaker 1: from 4 to 6 on a Friday, maybe we'll do that.
- 1:46:03Speaker 1: The first one was sponsored by the listeners. That was
- 1:46:06Speaker 1: so crazy because you guys were amazing. We had Louie
- 1:46:09Speaker 1: and Jimmy X and Jimmy X squared and Shannon and
- 1:46:15Speaker 1: who else? A bunch of just coming up and handing
- 1:46:17Speaker 1: me money to pay for it. And thank God they did.
- 1:46:20Speaker 1: Cause I remember, I remember correctly, we put away about $ 1, 500
- 1:46:22Speaker 1: worth of pizza. So, needless to say, the other thing
- 1:46:28Speaker 1: about Russo's, Russo's has those giant pizzas you can order.
- 1:46:31Speaker 1: So we ordered a bunch of those. And we just
- 1:46:33Speaker 1: kept doing it. But the first one was about $ 100.
- 1:46:37Speaker 1: I think maybe the second one was about $ 150. And
- 1:46:40Speaker 1: then the third one was over $ 200. I remember Cash
- 1:46:45Speaker 1: came out to a couple of the pizza parties. Cash,
- 1:46:47Speaker 1: which ones did you attend? Do you remember? I think
- 1:46:50Speaker 1: I only missed one because of work.
- 1:46:52Speaker 2: I think the third one was the one I missed.
- 1:46:54Speaker 1: Okay, I think that was the one where I think
- 1:46:56Speaker 1: we had over 200. So it took like we had
- 1:47:00Speaker 1: to replace cash with 100 people because all the pizza
- 1:47:02Speaker 1: he eats.
- 1:47:03Speaker 6: It's true.
- 1:47:06Speaker 1: Maybe not so much. But we did have to replace
- 1:47:08Speaker 1: them with 100 people. But it was, man, they were great.
- 1:47:11Speaker 1: And like I said, hats down, hats off to Russo's Pizzeria.
- 1:47:17Speaker 1: They said the place held everybody real well. The parking
- 1:47:20Speaker 1: lot was great. Could fit everybody because that's a lot
- 1:47:23Speaker 1: of cars to be parking on a Friday afternoon for
- 1:47:25Speaker 1: people making up time to come out and hang out
- 1:47:27Speaker 1: with us. So we had a good time. The pizza
- 1:47:29Speaker 1: is always fantastic there. And of course, the desserts were
- 1:47:33Speaker 1: so much better than I expected. Oh, my God. I
- 1:47:36Speaker 1: remember that. It was delicious. And then meeting all you guys.
- 1:47:39Speaker 1: Like I said, I know most of you guys were
- 1:47:41Speaker 1: eating pizza. I was running around shaking everybody's hands and
- 1:47:43Speaker 1: meeting people. And it was great to see some of
- 1:47:45Speaker 1: the familiar faces as the pizza parties continued. Some of
- 1:47:49Speaker 1: the same people came out, but also just seeing all
- 1:47:51Speaker 1: the faces and seeing people. One of the pizza parties,
- 1:47:55Speaker 1: I had multiple people that I went to high school
- 1:47:57Speaker 1: with that I haven't seen since high school. My buddy Scott,
- 1:48:01Speaker 1: my friend Allison. Alice in Wonderland, I call her. She
- 1:48:04Speaker 1: came out and she's a total hardcore metalhead rocker. We
- 1:48:08Speaker 1: used to go see, I went and saw Motley Crue
- 1:48:10Speaker 1: with her and our friends back when they came to
- 1:48:12Speaker 1: Houston in 1984 and played at the oh what was
- 1:48:17Speaker 1: it called the astro arena not a lot of concerts
- 1:48:20Speaker 1: held there so she's still a metal rocker and she's
- 1:48:23Speaker 1: out she was voting for trump i was like whoa
- 1:48:27Speaker 1: super but these are great people and then of course
- 1:48:30Speaker 1: robert him a couple others alan came out remember him
- 1:48:34Speaker 1: so i'm not saying their last names in case they
- 1:48:37Speaker 1: want to maintain their privacy But it was great seeing
- 1:48:40Speaker 1: people that I hadn't seen since, some I'd seen since
- 1:48:43Speaker 1: high school, but some that I hadn't seen since then.
- 1:48:45Speaker 1: It was great seeing them. And it's crazy. And then
- 1:48:51Speaker 1: this year, 1986 is when I graduated. I graduated 40
- 1:48:57Speaker 1: years ago. Cash, are you even 40 yet?
- 1:48:59Speaker 27: Yes, sir.
- 1:49:01Speaker 14: Okay.
- 1:49:01Speaker 1: He claims he's 40. I think he's 14. 40 going
- 1:49:03Speaker 1: on 14. Notice I didn't get any argument from him
- 1:49:09Speaker 1: on that one. All right, we're done. We're out of time.
- 1:49:12Speaker 1: All right, you still got an hour to go vote
- 1:49:14Speaker 1: if you want to get out an early vote today.
- 1:49:16Speaker 1: If not, you still got tomorrow through the 30th. So
- 1:49:18Speaker 1: there you go. Have fun.
- 1:49:19Speaker 3: Be safe.
- 1:49:20Speaker 1: We'll catch you tomorrow for our hump day edition of
- 1:49:23Speaker 1: the program.
