- 6:05Speaker 1: it's gonna be closed today. Okay, they're doing construction. They're
- 6:14Speaker 1: also supposedly, and I'm putting a huge amount of emphasis
- 6:20Speaker 1: on that word supposedly, And I'm even gonna say this
- 6:23Speaker 1: word apparently doing some street sweeping today even though it's
- 6:32Speaker 1: raining again. Apparently we have and I'm going to give
- 6:41Speaker 1: you a I'm going to give you a very detailed
- 6:45Speaker 1: forecast here in a second. And there's gonna be good

- 7:12Speaker 1: I'll tell you in just a second. On the line
- 7:15Speaker 1: with me is Noah pay yet? What's going on?

- 7:22Speaker 3: I'm doing good at with yourself?
- 7:24Speaker 1: Man, I'm fine. Listen. I don't know if I've ever
- 7:29Speaker 1: met you before, but we had a very brief exchange,
- 7:34Speaker 1: and you're doing some damn good things in our community. Brother,
- 7:37Speaker 1: Please do tell and share with our community. What's going
- 7:41Speaker 1: on with the weather? Is turning in your favor? What's

- 7:47Speaker 4: So every year, I for the past three or four years,
- 7:50Speaker 4: I've played in the Berrytown Colled Softball League. It's by
- 7:55Speaker 4: far one of the best leagues I've I've seen. I mean,
- 7:59Speaker 4: I've been around softball my whole life. It's it's in
- 8:03Speaker 4: my blood and this league.
- 8:06Speaker 3: It runs around. It's all about the players. It's about
- 8:11Speaker 3: the love of the game.
- 8:13Speaker 4: It's yes, there's gonna be competitiveness, but everybody's here to
- 8:16Speaker 4: have fun and they're here to get out of the
- 8:19Speaker 4: house and no matter what they got going on. They
- 8:22Speaker 4: know they can go to the softball field and they
- 8:24Speaker 4: can just forget about everything they got going on. And
- 8:30Speaker 4: this is I've decided to put my put a team
- 8:34Speaker 4: in for my first for the first year, and I honestly,
- 8:39Speaker 4: I couldn't be more thrilled about it. I've done freezing
- 8:44Speaker 4: from the families for the past three if years. That's
- 8:50Speaker 4: another tournament I've always been around.
- 8:52Speaker 3: It's always been.
- 8:55Speaker 4: A great charity tournament that I've always played in. Were
- 8:58Speaker 4: always been around, So I mean, it's always softball has
- 9:01Speaker 4: always been.
- 9:02Speaker 3: Around and it always will be and it's just it.
- 9:06Speaker 3: It's it's in my heart. It's all always been around it.
- 9:10Speaker 1: So the Barry co Ed League, it is you guys
- 9:14Speaker 1: are start starting up when I'm assuming you're going to
- 9:18Speaker 1: be practicing up at Barry Town School. But when is
- 9:22Speaker 1: when is all this kicking off? And are you looking
- 9:24Speaker 1: for more players?
- 9:27Speaker 3: We start in May. We're always looking for more players,
- 9:29Speaker 3: more teams. It's right now we're running about eight teams.
- 9:32Speaker 4: We'd love to have more. I mean, this is one
- 9:35Speaker 4: of the leagues that we were we're running with open arms.
- 9:38Speaker 4: It's whether you've never played before or you've played all
- 9:43Speaker 4: your life. It's we're ready to welcome you with open arms,
- 9:46Speaker 4: and it's we're always looking for more people.
- 9:49Speaker 3: This is this is the kind of thing where we
- 9:52Speaker 3: always we want as many people as we can get.
- 9:56Speaker 1: So uh and and let's speak about that. So how
- 10:00Speaker 1: do people get in touch with you? How do they
- 10:02Speaker 1: learn more? How do they become a team member to
- 10:05Speaker 1: Is there a Facebook page?
- 10:07Speaker 3: There is a Facebook page. Facebook page is Berrytown co
- 10:11Speaker 3: Ed Softball League? Find it right on Facebook.
- 10:16Speaker 4: There's If you always have questions, you could reach out
- 10:19Speaker 4: to me and I can give you the contact to
- 10:23Speaker 4: our president and give them let them give.
- 10:26Speaker 3: You more information. But if you ever want to play,
- 10:30Speaker 3: or if you want to.
- 10:32Speaker 4: If you want to just know more about the league,
- 10:34Speaker 4: just look up Barrytime Coed Softball League.
- 10:37Speaker 1: All right? How is that where people can get in
- 10:41Speaker 1: touch with you? Is that the best way? Noah? Or
- 10:44Speaker 1: do you want to give out your cell phone number
- 10:45Speaker 1: or an email address?
- 10:48Speaker 3: I can give out my phone number.
- 10:51Speaker 4: If anybody wants to reach out to me, playing wise,
- 10:55Speaker 4: they can reach me at a oh two.
- 10:58Speaker 3: Four six one six two eight zero.
- 11:03Speaker 4: You can shoot me a text or give me a call,
- 11:04Speaker 4: and I can give you more information. If you want
- 11:06Speaker 4: to play, then we'll get you playing.
- 11:08Speaker 1: All right, one more time for six to one six
- 11:13Speaker 1: two eight zero six two eight zero. What about sponsorship?
- 11:19Speaker 1: What about businesses in the area that might want to
- 11:24Speaker 1: tag in man and and attach the brand to this
- 11:27Speaker 1: and get involved and support and support this.
- 11:31Speaker 4: I know, at least for myself. I don't know about
- 11:34Speaker 4: other teams. I know I'm I'm looking for sponsors. We're
- 11:38Speaker 4: always we're looking for sponsors, donations, anything, We're looking whatever
- 11:45Speaker 4: you guys.
- 11:45Speaker 3: Would be willing to help out with. We're we're open
- 11:50Speaker 3: to anything.
- 11:51Speaker 4: Of course, it's we're not gonna we're not gonna make
- 11:54Speaker 4: you obviously, that's not what it's about. It's not about
- 11:56Speaker 4: the money, it's not about it's not about any of that.
- 12:00Speaker 4: But we are always looking for sponsors. That makes everything
- 12:04Speaker 4: a lot easier, and it's it's just it's all around
- 12:09Speaker 4: it me. It's a great way to get your business
- 12:11Speaker 4: out there. I know most teams what they'll do is
- 12:16Speaker 4: they if you want a sponsor, they'll put your company
- 12:20Speaker 4: right on their jersey and you know, whether they're wearing
- 12:24Speaker 4: it during the game or they're going out and they're
- 12:26Speaker 4: wearing their Jersey around town.
- 12:27Speaker 3: You're always you're getting your company out there. Yeah.
- 12:32Speaker 1: I think this is fantastic, dude, And I'm I'm so
- 12:35Speaker 1: glad that you and I are connected on this. Can
- 12:38Speaker 1: we get you in here at some point and and
- 12:42Speaker 1: share some some studio time on the couch and and
- 12:45Speaker 1: talk more about this because stootball is huge. Man, there's
- 12:49Speaker 1: so many of us that look forward to this just alone.
- 12:54Speaker 1: Shootball get is.
- 12:56Speaker 4: There's there's so many of us because I mean there's
- 13:00Speaker 4: we have multiple leagues that run out of very town alone,
- 13:02Speaker 4: and it's it's the kind of time of the year
- 13:06Speaker 4: that everybody's there. We're waiting to get back on the field,
- 13:08Speaker 4: and we're waiting to.
- 13:10Speaker 3: We're waiting to see everybody again.
- 13:11Speaker 1: It's all right, we're gonna We're going to connect soon.
- 13:15Speaker 2: Man.
- 13:15Speaker 1: I want to get you in here maybe maybe with
- 13:17Speaker 1: a with a player or two, uh, and and bang
- 13:21Speaker 1: the drum a little bit more and and maybe even
- 13:23Speaker 1: run up to one of your practices and and do
- 13:27Speaker 1: stream live up there because Uh, I love it too, man.
- 13:30Speaker 1: I mean you trust me when I say I'm the
- 13:35Speaker 1: last person that you would want on your team, uh,
- 13:40Speaker 1: especially that I just had a shoulder replacement. But there's
- 13:44Speaker 1: so many people out there that frankly need to get
- 13:46Speaker 1: out of their home, their their home. Uh, and they
- 13:49Speaker 1: need to connect with their community and do something different.
- 13:52Speaker 1: And and this is great opportunity. Thanks for coming on, brother,
- 13:56Speaker 1: of course. Yeah, man, we'll stay in touch, all right,
- 13:58Speaker 1: we will thank you. That's no pay at right there.

- 14:04Speaker 1: Barry koh It softball team, which is going to be
- 14:08Speaker 1: kicking into gear here, real real soon. Details on the forecast,
- 14:14Speaker 1: and yes, Kyle, we're going to be talking about that
- 14:17Speaker 1: in the news here in just a second. About that motorcycle.
- 14:24Speaker 1: Details on on the forecast. When I go into when
- 14:27Speaker 1: I try to get as as much detail as I can,
- 14:30Speaker 1: I try to source it out to Roger Hill because

- 17:09Speaker 1: Are you aware and maybe some of you aren't that
- 17:15Speaker 1: the weather is one of the first things that I
- 17:19Speaker 1: kick off with most mornings. I would say ninety nine
- 17:27Speaker 1: zero point five to ninety nine point nine percent of
- 17:30Speaker 1: the time. Are you aware of that? Just put yes
- 17:33Speaker 1: or no in the comments that I'm asking this morning. Birthdays,
- 17:42Speaker 1: Cindy Galanka, Thomas Lair, Beca May, Sean Stevens, Stacy Herr,
- 17:49Speaker 1: Joe Hill, and Caleb Duframe. Great guy. Sports. There's too
- 17:59Speaker 1: much that's going on, too much. Yeah, Logan Leos is
- 18:07Speaker 1: gonna chat with me this morning at some point about sports.
- 18:12Speaker 1: I mean this, the March Madness and the Connecticut Huskies. Wow,
- 18:19Speaker 1: there's a lot of stuff going on. There's also a
- 18:25Speaker 1: lot of stuff going on in our community. Our community
- 18:29Speaker 1: calendar brought to you by the World Central Vermont's favorite
- 18:33Speaker 1: weekly newspaper, reaching around twenty two thousand people every single
- 18:39Speaker 1: week digital version vtdash world dot com. It is Tuesday,
- 18:45Speaker 1: being that it is Tuesday, and every Tuesday the American
- 18:48Speaker 1: Legion Post ten right here in the Granite City does
- 18:50Speaker 1: a meal for anyone. It's just twelve bucks. They start
- 18:55Speaker 1: serving it up around five thirty. Sometimes they do bingo afterwards.
- 18:59Speaker 1: Today meat loaf. I love meat loaf almost as much
- 19:08Speaker 1: as I love my child. Who doesn't love meat loaf.
- 19:14Speaker 1: I mean, there's in salisburry steak. I'm sure there's some
- 19:18Speaker 1: folks out there that don't. But man, they got shepherd's
- 19:23Speaker 1: pie coming up too. I'm just looking at the menu.
- 19:26Speaker 1: I would eat meat loaf hot or cold, ketchup or
- 19:29Speaker 1: no ketchup, breakfast, lunch or dinner. They're doing it tonight,
- 19:36Speaker 1: American Legion. If you want to get in, if you
- 19:38Speaker 1: would like a meal four seven nine nine zero five eight,
- 19:41Speaker 1: just call them and say, hey, put one aside from
- 19:44Speaker 1: me or I'm going to be there and so they

- 19:50Speaker 1: you have any leftovers whatsoever, please call me. That's today Tuesday.
- 19:57Speaker 1: I'm just glancing here. What do we have? Yeah, speaking
- 20:02Speaker 1: of meat loaf and meat, the American Legion is meat
- 20:05Speaker 1: bingo in the seventeenth of April. Looking ahead here this weekend,
- 20:12Speaker 1: it is going to be jammed. Easter weekend. On the fourth,
- 20:20Speaker 1: which is Saturday, the Berry City and Town Wreck departments
- 20:25Speaker 1: got their annual egg hunt inside the bor. It's from
- 20:29Speaker 1: nine to eleven. Bring your own basket. The hunt starts
- 20:33Speaker 1: at nine to thirty. Don't be late at all. I
- 20:39Speaker 1: would even get there like eight forty five. Get a
- 20:42Speaker 1: good spot. Bring the kids. No punching, kicking, screaming, poking nails,
- 20:51Speaker 1: be respectful. There's a couple of different age groups. We
- 20:54Speaker 1: got age three for three and four, five through seven,
- 21:00Speaker 1: and eight through ten. I know it's a lot of
- 21:05Speaker 1: fun for the adults that want to do in adults
- 21:11Speaker 1: only Easter egg hunt, which sounds interesting. That's where the
- 21:19Speaker 1: biting and kicking and scratching can get figured into things.
- 21:24Speaker 1: It's gonna be at Wilkins Harley Davidson on Saturday morning
- 21:26Speaker 1: at nine o'clock. Can you handle it? Can you not
- 21:32Speaker 1: stay out too late on Friday night so that you
- 21:35Speaker 1: can be at Wilkins by like eight thirty eight to
- 21:40Speaker 1: forty five tops for the nine am kickoff. I don't
- 21:44Speaker 1: know if they're going to fire the cap gun or
- 21:45Speaker 1: not for the Easter egg hunt at Wilkins adults only
- 21:50Speaker 1: Saturday morning. Also on Saturday, the Bible Baptist Church has
- 21:58Speaker 1: their egg hunt. It's at two o'clock in the afternoon.
- 22:00Speaker 1: Kids only twelve and under two pm two pm. What

- 22:18Speaker 1: right next to Duncan ten till twelve. I think the
- 22:23Speaker 1: Easter Bunny is going to be there. We got to
- 22:28Speaker 1: talk about the Easter Bunny at some point as before,
- 22:33Speaker 1: maybe Friday. The Totally rad eighties and nineties Dance Party
- 22:38Speaker 1: is Saturday at the Bary Elks Lodge seven pm. The
- 22:43Speaker 1: Winter Farmers Market is on College Street in Montpillier on Saturday.
- 22:47Speaker 1: On Sunday, Posts seven ninety two has got their breakfast
- 22:50Speaker 1: in Montpillier from nine to eleven, buffet style, fifteen bucks
- 22:54Speaker 1: per person. There's just so much going on, and that's
- 22:59Speaker 1: that's just this weekend into May. Oh my god, I'm
- 23:04Speaker 1: just I'm just glancing here at my community calendar. So
- 23:08Speaker 1: on the phone yesterday with with Lynda Mercy and Randy Henry,
- 23:12Speaker 1: and they're cooking up something that I'm not gonna tell
- 23:16Speaker 1: you about. I'm gonna let them tell you about because
- 23:17Speaker 1: they're gonna both be in here sitting on the couch
- 23:19Speaker 1: real soon. I'm gonna let them, uh, let the cat
- 23:25Speaker 1: out of the bag. But it's huge. Yes, I'm gonna
- 23:28Speaker 1: be I was just somebody just asked me out of
- 23:31Speaker 1: yesterday day before if I was gonna be talking about
- 23:34Speaker 1: the Lake moriy summer concerts series. Yes, I am. What else,
- 23:43Speaker 1: the summer camps and the berry Berry City, Yes, I'm
- 23:47Speaker 1: gonna be talking about them. I'm gonna get to it. Yes,
- 23:51Speaker 1: there's a lot, I know, but you know, let's we're
- 24:00Speaker 1: going to talk sports here in a second, but let's
- 24:03Speaker 1: get into some news here. Boy, some of the comments
- 24:09Speaker 1: that are coming in here this morning, I could say
- 24:12Speaker 1: so much, but I'm snug on time. A Vermont man
- 24:18Speaker 1: is in the hospital with serious injuries after colliding with
- 24:21Speaker 1: a tracker trailer on his motorcycle yesterday. This is from
- 24:26Speaker 1: PTZ Channel five. God bless them. I think they do
- 24:29Speaker 1: a great job. Vermont stay Police was funded to the
- 24:36Speaker 1: crash in Richford just around six point fifteen last night
- 24:42Speaker 1: on Troy Street. Adam Blodgett, twenty years old. He's alive,
- 24:53Speaker 1: traveling east on Troy Street when he turned a corner
- 24:56Speaker 1: and collided head on with a truck. He was pinned
- 25:01Speaker 1: underneath the truck, According to State Police, fire and rescue
- 25:05Speaker 1: personnel able to free him and take him to the hospital,
- 25:08Speaker 1: where his condition is reported to be critical but not
- 25:12Speaker 1: life threatening. He is the son Adam, of the owners
- 25:19Speaker 1: of Blodgett Family Farm, who were sharing the news about
- 25:25Speaker 1: the crash on social media last night, and in the statement,
- 25:28Speaker 1: the family said that they expect a long road to
- 25:32Speaker 1: recovery and highlighted the critical need for blood donors. Glad
- 25:39Speaker 1: he's alive. Wow, Not that that's what I have on
- 25:50Speaker 1: that story. I don't have any more. If I do,
- 25:54Speaker 1: I'll share it with you. The brush fire in Ferrisburg.
- 25:59Speaker 1: Do you see the video that thing yesterday? Big one
- 26:02Speaker 1: over ten responding fire departments, more than one hundred acres, trees, sheds,
- 26:13Speaker 1: a few other small structures, all burned, no injuries. Isn't
- 26:16Speaker 1: that amazing? Luckily Erica and Eric Andris still have their home.
- 26:24Speaker 1: Amazing all the volunteers that were working on that yesterday.
- 26:28Speaker 1: Incredible video.
- 26:30Speaker 3: Wow.
- 26:31Speaker 1: Rollover crash on eighty nine and Williston about six o'clock
- 26:35Speaker 1: last night had both lanes of the interstate closed for
- 26:37Speaker 1: about an hour. The driver is alive, but a man
- 26:41Speaker 1: in Morgan did succumb to his injuries yesterday morning in
- 26:47Speaker 1: another crash en route one to eleven. Sadly, well known guy,
- 26:52Speaker 1: well loved a lot of crashes lately, A ton I'll
- 26:59Speaker 1: pull up some statistics on it, and I don't know
- 27:03Speaker 1: what it is. I don't know if it's the time
- 27:05Speaker 1: of year. I don't know if it's the weather, I
- 27:06Speaker 1: don't know what, but it just seems like there's always
- 27:09Speaker 1: an uptick April May, especially Massachusetts. Guy who robbed the
- 27:15Speaker 1: convenience store in Burlington's North. Then it's gonna serve sixty
- 27:19Speaker 1: six months behind bars and it only took two years
- 27:23Speaker 1: to land that sentence. Isn't that great? What a track
- 27:26Speaker 1: record we have moving in right along, get them through
- 27:30Speaker 1: the system, and sixty six months behind bars, that's what
- 27:35Speaker 1: a b begun in five hundred bucks in cash will
- 27:38Speaker 1: get you. Just a little bit about this past Saturday,
- 27:46Speaker 1: and I know today's Tuesday, big crowded month. Pillier for
- 27:51Speaker 1: the No Kings protest. Shame on me. I said protest.
- 27:58Speaker 1: Maybe I should have said demonstration, but the Vermont Day Police,
- 28:05Speaker 1: the Montpelier Police, the Capitol Police, the Monthpailier, the fire department,
- 28:12Speaker 1: the Monthpilier, public Works, Vermont's buildings in general, services were
- 28:17Speaker 1: all there and giving giving big props on Facebook, thanking
- 28:27Speaker 1: everyone for being so respectful, which in many other cities
- 28:32Speaker 1: and towns it wasn't so much that way. I mean
- 28:37Speaker 1: New York City. We had a parade of people crawling
- 28:40Speaker 1: on their hands and knees on all fours down the
- 28:45Speaker 1: city street in New York City. You how much money
- 28:50Speaker 1: you would have to pay me to crawl on my
- 28:55Speaker 1: hands on any street in New York City.
- 29:02Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 29:07Speaker 1: A man died while skiing at sugar Bush over the weekend,
- 29:10Speaker 1: a fall that had him sliding into a wooded area
- 29:13Speaker 1: on the trail. New York State Police and vermonts Day
- 29:22Speaker 1: Police were both involved with that. What a sad story. Yeah,
- 29:32Speaker 1: getting a message here. The Trapper's banquet at the Barry
- 29:35Speaker 1: Auditorium was awesome Saturday night. John Rogers spoke there. I
- 29:41Speaker 1: would love to go to that sometime. Let's see thirty
- 29:47Speaker 1: one year old Austin LaPier in custody after finding a
- 29:52Speaker 1: fifty seven year old Tyrone Biggs dead in his apartment
- 29:55Speaker 1: with stab wounds. That story has been going for a
- 29:58Speaker 1: couple of days. I'm just looking here, Roger. The investigation
- 30:03Speaker 1: continues today. Twenty one year old Nolan Valkyrie of Starksborough
- 30:11Speaker 1: pulled over late Saturday night on eighty nine and Middlesex
- 30:14Speaker 1: for driving the wrong way. Another one wrong way on
- 30:19Speaker 1: eighty nine. Why is for mot so famous for wrong
- 30:25Speaker 1: way drivers on eighty nine? A little bit of ninety
- 30:29Speaker 1: one too, but eighty nine, especially Middlesex, right down the
- 30:33Speaker 1: road driving the wrong way. No surprise, he was drunk.
- 30:39Speaker 1: And of course the big news from this past weekend,
- 30:43Speaker 1: from this one's still buzzing, still all over the internet.
- 30:46Speaker 1: I'm seeing this morning for monts Day Police arresting the
- 30:49Speaker 1: two suspects in the arm robbery case in Ensburg. They
- 30:54Speaker 1: were arranged yesterday in Saint Albans. Yeah, press release that
- 31:00Speaker 1: I got here. Let's see if I can read through
- 31:03Speaker 1: this quickly. Three eight couple of two days ago. Three
- 31:08Speaker 1: days ago, this one from the Montpelier Police Department. Approximately
- 31:17Speaker 1: five pm, Montpelier Police responded to the Christ Church sixty
- 31:23Speaker 1: four State Street for the report of an active physical
- 31:27Speaker 1: altercation in the back parking lot. Officers located multiple members
- 31:33Speaker 1: of the unhoused population who had been injured during the assault.
- 31:38Speaker 1: For further investigation led officers to believe the case or
- 31:43Speaker 1: the cause rather of the disturbance and dominant aggressor was
- 31:48Speaker 1: Solomon Valley, who's unhoused from Barry. Valley had fled the
- 31:57Speaker 1: area prior to police arrival. He was located walking near
- 32:00Speaker 1: the scene a short time later and arrested by Montpelier
- 32:03Speaker 1: Police Department and lodged at the Northeast Regional Correctional Facility
- 32:09Speaker 1: by Probation and parole due to his alleged actions being
- 32:17Speaker 1: in violation of his probation conditions. He'll be in Washington Court,
- 32:23Speaker 1: or was in Washington Superior Court yesterday, simple assault, disorderly conduct.
- 32:36Speaker 1: I don't know what you're thinking about this, but I
- 32:38Speaker 1: know that there was just a lot of talk about
- 32:42Speaker 1: that church parking lot setting up a temporary community emergency
- 32:54Speaker 1: housing area, staging area for the homeless over the winter.
- 33:00Speaker 1: Now that it's getting warmer, now that it's almost April,
- 33:05Speaker 1: what should be happening. I don't know. The world news
- 33:12Speaker 1: is insane, and I don't know if you're being I
- 33:16Speaker 1: don't know if you're privy to it. I don't know
- 33:17Speaker 1: if you're paying attention. I don't know if you're watching
- 33:19Speaker 1: everything that is and isn't happening in the Middle East.
- 33:23Speaker 1: I know that trending yesterday, Iran is threatening to attack
- 33:28Speaker 1: American universities in the Middle East. Isn't that nice? Wow? Wow,
- 33:42Speaker 1: Let's take a deep breath here, and I know I'm
- 33:48Speaker 1: getting a message here. You got to talk about Kip
- 33:50Speaker 1: Rock and his helicopter. I know, there's just so much
- 33:54Speaker 1: going on, so much happening. Chuck wants to talk about
- 34:00Speaker 1: William Shatner. There's a lot of stuff that's that's going
- 34:07Speaker 1: on here. God, I'm so overwhelmed. I should probably do
- 34:10Speaker 1: another show today. Let's let's shift gears, take a deep
- 34:17Speaker 1: breath and talk sports for a second, and then with
- 34:24Speaker 1: Logan Loose and then when we're done with sports, I
- 34:30Speaker 1: have to own up to to something that I'm going
- 34:33Speaker 1: to on the air, and I'm going to apologize to
- 34:37Speaker 1: all of all of my listeners and community, something that
- 34:41Speaker 1: I need to come clean on, and I'm going to
- 34:43Speaker 1: do it. This morning, my brother, who is down in Connecticut,
- 34:53Speaker 1: was having an absolute meltdown, freaking out, calling me, blown
- 34:58Speaker 1: me up. All my god, oh my god, do you
- 35:01Speaker 1: see what's going? Did you see what happened? Bop blah
- 35:03Speaker 1: blah blah blah, Holy crap, the Huskies march madness playing
- 35:11Speaker 1: Who was it? Logan? Number one seeded Duke. Yep, did
- 35:16Speaker 1: you see what happened? It's zero point three seconds?
- 35:20Speaker 2: Well that, but also the fact that Duke was up.
- 35:25Speaker 2: They were up by twenty points by halftime. They were
- 35:27Speaker 2: up by like there's no reason why they should have
- 35:29Speaker 2: like let that such a large deficit fall from them,
- 35:33Speaker 2: especially because like the number one seeded team, Like, how
- 35:36Speaker 2: do you you know, as the number one seed team
- 35:38Speaker 2: get such a large lead and then let it fall apart.
- 35:41Speaker 2: I mean, I don't know if it was like it
- 35:44Speaker 2: seemed like they were starting to turn the ball over
- 35:47Speaker 2: a lot, especially in like the fourth quarter. So I'm
- 35:49Speaker 2: not sure if if it's like coaching or players, but
- 35:53Speaker 2: you know, for them to lose such a large deficit
- 36:00Speaker 2: such a you know, short period of time is insane.
- 36:06Speaker 2: Definitely want to come back by Yukon, and it's it's
- 36:11Speaker 2: gonna be an interesting you know, Final four coming up.
- 36:14Speaker 2: It's gonna be very interesting. We're gonna get to see
- 36:19Speaker 2: a lot, honestly, but like, like I said, the surprise
- 36:22Speaker 2: Duke Duke losing is very surprising.
- 36:26Speaker 1: Taylor says, Duke barely won the first round, and I
- 36:30Speaker 1: feel like this upset kind of was bound to happen.
- 36:33Speaker 2: Yeah, do Duke was you know, they were consistent at
- 36:39Speaker 2: the start of the season, but towards the end of
- 36:42Speaker 2: the season, I was starting to see some of their
- 36:45Speaker 2: slow down. And then yeah, I know, their first their
- 36:48Speaker 2: first game was not great, but they still won. But
- 36:54Speaker 2: still though, even so, they had such a comfortable lead,
- 36:57Speaker 2: you know, for them to lose that comfortable leave is
- 37:01Speaker 2: definitely like shocking.
- 37:04Speaker 1: Why did it?
- 37:04Speaker 2: Asks questions?
- 37:05Speaker 1: Yeah, what, here's a question. Why did they pass the ball?
- 37:07Speaker 1: Becky wants to know.
- 37:10Speaker 2: Well, I think their goal was to assume towards we're
- 37:13Speaker 2: talking about towards the end of the game. I would say,
- 37:16Speaker 2: I think their goal was to just you know, stop
- 37:20Speaker 2: like try not to risk shooting, because they were hoping
- 37:22Speaker 2: to just run the clock out. And obviously that didn't
- 37:26Speaker 2: that didn't work out for them, And so for Duke,
- 37:30Speaker 2: it's like, you know, there was just there's just like
- 37:33Speaker 2: you know, there's when they go home, there's gonna be
- 37:36Speaker 2: a lot of like discussions on what what went wrong,
- 37:38Speaker 2: because there's just so much wrong.
- 37:41Speaker 1: You agree with this comment here that says that's how
- 37:44Speaker 1: sports goes. It does doesn't It doesn't matter the seed
- 37:47Speaker 1: or the rank. Anything can happen.
- 37:49Speaker 2: I mean exactly. The Celtics just lost to the Hawks
- 37:54Speaker 2: last night, which makes zero sense. Yeah, zero sense. A
- 37:58Speaker 2: team that like quite literally got rich their best player
- 38:00Speaker 2: like a month ago, and like they're they're like maybe
- 38:05Speaker 2: ninth seed, they're like they're very at the bottom. So anything,
- 38:09Speaker 2: anything goes. I mean, I mean, the Patriots won that
- 38:12Speaker 2: Super Bowl against the Atlanta Hawks. In the fourth quarter,
- 38:15Speaker 2: Tom Brady came back in the fourth court, like it happens,
- 38:19Speaker 2: it happens.
- 38:21Speaker 1: Who won the NCAA Championship?
- 38:25Speaker 2: Well last year? Last year, Oh my gosh, it was
- 38:29Speaker 2: it was the Huskies. It was. Yeah.
- 38:31Speaker 1: So should Duke be that surprised?
- 38:39Speaker 2: I mean no. But at the same time, you know,
- 38:44Speaker 2: obviously the Huskies are very good. They were what second seed,
- 38:46Speaker 2: third seed? Second second seed? Okay, I thought, so this
- 38:49Speaker 2: will be this will be their third title in four years.
- 38:52Speaker 2: Oh yeah, no, Well that was what was happening. With
- 38:55Speaker 2: Yukon as a whole has been really good. I mean,
- 38:57Speaker 2: their their baseball team just won their college championship like
- 39:02Speaker 2: three years ago, maybe two years ago. Like, so Yukon
- 39:05Speaker 2: as a whole has just gotten really consistent and good. Yeah,
- 39:10Speaker 2: but for but you know, I mean Yukon winning Like obviously,
- 39:15Speaker 2: Yukon being in the top four makes a lot of sense,
- 39:18Speaker 2: but them knocking off the number one seeded Duke is
- 39:21Speaker 2: definitely surprising because Duke is also a very good, you
- 39:24Speaker 2: know college, They're very consistent, They're consistent with their winnings.
- 39:28Speaker 1: So the final four set this coming Saturday, it is
- 39:31Speaker 1: going to be amazing. What do we got to number
- 39:33Speaker 1: one seeds Michigan and Arizona and then number three Illinois
- 39:39Speaker 1: all for Saturday semi finals.
- 39:42Speaker 2: Yeah, no, that's gonna be wonderful.
- 39:44Speaker 1: Yeah, damn, who's this? Who is this? This guy that
- 39:50Speaker 1: got this at the point three here? What was his
- 39:53Speaker 1: name is? Freshman?
- 39:56Speaker 2: Oh? I'm I'm honestly not one hundred pcent sure, I'm
- 39:59Speaker 2: gonna talk.
- 40:00Speaker 1: Braylen Brayln mullins. Yes, point three on the clock. What
- 40:06Speaker 1: a failing ending?
- 40:07Speaker 2: Yeah, crazy shot, honestly, crazy shot.
- 40:10Speaker 1: You know, it's such a fast paced game basketball. I'm
- 40:15Speaker 1: just gonna be honest with you, Basketball and baseball. For me,
- 40:20Speaker 1: I'm not I'm not really a sports guy. You know
- 40:22Speaker 1: that very obvious with what's come what comes out of
- 40:25Speaker 1: my mouth that I'm not a sports guy very But
- 40:29Speaker 1: i gotta tell you, man, over the last couple of years,
- 40:31Speaker 1: basketball and baseball are something that I'm like really becoming
- 40:36Speaker 1: more interested in. It's fascinating it is, and I'm just
- 40:39Speaker 1: learning so much. It's just like how they there's there's
- 40:43Speaker 1: tempo in the game where they pause tactically, they try
- 40:47Speaker 1: to slow things down. It's amazing.
- 40:51Speaker 2: Well for me, it's like baseball too. Baseball is two,
- 40:54Speaker 2: but baseball is like one of those games too, where
- 40:56Speaker 2: like baseball can turn on a flip of a dime
- 40:58Speaker 2: because at the end of the day, baseball is a
- 41:01Speaker 2: slow it is a slower one, but it's one of
- 41:03Speaker 2: those slow sports where it like it can change on
- 41:06Speaker 2: a flip of a dime. Because you could have a
- 41:08Speaker 2: game where you know, the team's just getting blown out
- 41:12Speaker 2: seven to nothing for example. You know, whatever, move on
- 41:15Speaker 2: to the next game. But then you have a game
- 41:17Speaker 2: that's like one team's up three to one, and then
- 41:20Speaker 2: in the last inning that team is down one slams
- 41:23Speaker 2: a grand slam, you know, wins the game just like that,
- 41:26Speaker 2: just just one one inning, one inning out of the
- 41:29Speaker 2: how many they play nine yeah, you know, nine in yeah,
- 41:32Speaker 2: out of all the innings. It's like you're down by
- 41:35Speaker 2: two points and in the final inning when it's your
- 41:37Speaker 2: last chance to win the game, grand slam. That that happens.
- 41:41Speaker 2: Same with basketball, like like you said, the final shots,
- 41:44Speaker 2: Like Luke Canard on the Lakers just literally two weeks
- 41:47Speaker 2: ago hit a buzzer beater from like the logo basically
- 41:52Speaker 2: you know it had like that happens, like those shots
- 41:55Speaker 2: those like you know, just taking a chance shots though
- 41:59Speaker 2: they work out a lot more times than you think.
- 42:02Speaker 2: It's like the old saying, you know, you will always
- 42:05Speaker 2: miss every shot you don't take, and so it's like,
- 42:08Speaker 2: you know, when you have one second on the clock,
- 42:10Speaker 2: you just got to shoot it and hope that it
- 42:12Speaker 2: makes it and it can.
- 42:14Speaker 1: It's it's unbelievable. And I'm getting a text here from
- 42:19Speaker 1: a friend of mine, Twain. He's all upset that we're
- 42:21Speaker 1: talking about all of the men and why why are
- 42:24Speaker 1: we not talking about the women? So let's because they
- 42:28Speaker 1: deserve to be of course, the NCAA Women's Final four
- 42:33Speaker 1: is set to We got Yukon again facing South Carolina
- 42:39Speaker 1: and UCLA facing Texas like Friday, Like I.
- 42:45Speaker 2: Said, like Yukon as a whole, it's just clearly crazy.
- 42:48Speaker 2: They they're here, even in the men's and the female
- 42:50Speaker 2: They're in the top four on both sides, right, so incredible.
- 42:54Speaker 1: They're badasses.
- 42:55Speaker 2: Incredible.
- 42:57Speaker 1: So do you have any do you or does anyone
- 43:00Speaker 1: watching listening right now? Any money?
- 43:03Speaker 2: I'm not a better No, sadly does anyone else.
- 43:06Speaker 1: Have any money going? Is cash involved here? How's your
- 43:10Speaker 1: bracket doing?
- 43:11Speaker 2: Oh? I mean well, I think I don't know. Does
- 43:15Speaker 2: I don't know if and I don't know if college
- 43:17Speaker 2: basketball does betting. I think they do.
- 43:19Speaker 1: I'm not sure.
- 43:20Speaker 2: I feel like it's I could be wrong. I think
- 43:22Speaker 2: March Madness they do betting on March mad Oh yeah, Oh,
- 43:26Speaker 2: I mean it's I don't know. I think I think
- 43:28Speaker 2: that's weird to me. I think the idea of college,
- 43:32Speaker 2: you know, kids basically getting betted on is kind of
- 43:36Speaker 2: weird because they're not, like they're not, you know, full
- 43:40Speaker 2: fledged adults. Yet they're all like you know, they're I mean,
- 43:42Speaker 2: there are they are adults, but they're all eighteen nineteen,
- 43:45Speaker 2: still young, and it's like, you know, for because like
- 43:49Speaker 2: it was like I think a month ago or maybe
- 43:54Speaker 2: two months ago, there was a whole like you know,
- 43:57Speaker 2: still with the theme of last year, which was all
- 44:00Speaker 2: was like gambling schemes that were going on. It's like,
- 44:03Speaker 2: you know, there was one with NCWLA, you know. So
- 44:06Speaker 2: it's like I think, as a whole, I just don't
- 44:09Speaker 2: think college should have sports betting. It's it's like that's
- 44:14Speaker 2: you know, something you could do with a bunch of
- 44:15Speaker 2: grown men, but a bunch of eighteen nineteen year olds,
- 44:18Speaker 2: I don't. I don't think so. I think it's weird.
- 44:20Speaker 1: Mobs are involved. I think the mafia is involved with
- 44:24Speaker 1: with all of this.
- 44:25Speaker 2: You never know, man, no, exactly, you never never. I mean,
- 44:29Speaker 2: I mean, so there's so much involved in things that
- 44:33Speaker 2: we just as humans, we just don't know.
- 44:36Speaker 1: The Connecticut Sun has reached a deal to sell w
- 44:41Speaker 1: NBA team to the Rockets owner.
- 44:45Speaker 2: Did hear about that?
- 44:46Speaker 1: For a price tag of three hundred million dollars?
- 44:53Speaker 2: That's really huge? I mean, well, what was it? The
- 44:56Speaker 2: wide Seattle we just we just resigned JSN to one
- 45:01Speaker 2: hundred and sixty eight million in four years. You know
- 45:04Speaker 2: that's a wide receiver. He's the most, he's the most.
- 45:06Speaker 2: He's the highest paid wide receiver.
- 45:07Speaker 1: Now I just heard that.
- 45:08Speaker 2: Yeah, highest paid one hundred and sixty eight million.
- 45:11Speaker 1: A couple of days ago.
- 45:12Speaker 2: Yeah, it just happened literally a week ago.
- 45:13Speaker 1: Yeah, it just happened.
- 45:14Speaker 2: The same with well did you see Also, the the
- 45:20Speaker 2: NBA is like they're like chairmen got together and they
- 45:24Speaker 2: did a vote on expanding the NBA. So we're getting
- 45:28Speaker 2: we are officially getting a Vegas team and a Seattle team. Again,
- 45:31Speaker 2: there's a lot of hype around the seat the Seattle
- 45:34Speaker 2: SuperSonics coming back. Seattle SuperSonics making a return is like
- 45:39Speaker 2: something a lot of people want to see. So that
- 45:41Speaker 2: but also it's just crazy, like we're getting two new
- 45:45Speaker 2: NBA teams within the next year or two NFL draft crazy.
- 45:51Speaker 2: What's going on a lot? I mean, starters, the biggest
- 45:54Speaker 2: thing people need to focus on the running back class.
- 45:58Speaker 2: There's so many young, hard hitting running backs that I'm
- 46:01Speaker 2: excited to see. The biggest one is Jadarian Love. He
- 46:06Speaker 2: looks like he's gonna be like with He's gonna be
- 46:08Speaker 2: gone within the first five picks, no question, no question,
- 46:10Speaker 2: Jadarian Love, no question, He's gonna be gone within the
- 46:13Speaker 2: first five picks. Amazing. He had he had a nine
- 46:17Speaker 2: point one out of ten on his combine grade. That's
- 46:21Speaker 2: so like hard to do, Like I don't even think
- 46:25Speaker 2: Derrick Henry did that. You know, Like that's a high
- 46:28Speaker 2: like combine number to hit for some young guy. So
- 46:33Speaker 2: he's gonna be explosive. He's gonna be a lot of people.
- 46:36Speaker 2: It looks like he might go to the Titans. Tennessee
- 46:38Speaker 2: might be getting him, who knows, but he's gonna be
- 46:40Speaker 2: huge obviously. Uh, Fernando Mendoza, Mendoza's gonna like everybody is
- 46:48Speaker 2: like predicting that he's gonna go to the Raiders number one.
- 46:52Speaker 2: You know. So forth, there's just so many good young
- 46:55Speaker 2: players that are gonna go in the first round. But
- 46:58Speaker 2: like like I said, running back class alone looks insane,
- 47:01Speaker 2: like so many young kids. Well besides Love, there's like
- 47:07Speaker 2: Tevin Coleman, Jadarian, Prince, Emmett Johnson, you know, so forth,
- 47:14Speaker 2: there's just so many young kids that are coming into
- 47:16Speaker 2: this draft that are gonna be like stars like and
- 47:20Speaker 2: so that's why you're seeing a lot of these NFL
- 47:22Speaker 2: teams are like they're cutting back on their running back
- 47:25Speaker 2: because it's like these kids are gonna go within the
- 47:28Speaker 2: first three rounds.
- 47:30Speaker 1: Like, this is a sport that is changing every year.
- 47:37Speaker 3: I E.
- 47:38Speaker 2: Well, first it was like for me, the biggest one
- 47:41Speaker 2: was like the kickoff return. The whole idea of like
- 47:46Speaker 2: because before the kickoff was like you had you know,
- 47:51Speaker 2: you had rows of players and then you had the
- 47:53Speaker 2: guy in the very back. Now it's where you know,
- 47:57Speaker 2: basically everybody starts on the line, the ball gets kicked,
- 48:01Speaker 2: and nobody can move until the guy at the end
- 48:04Speaker 2: has caught the ball. And now I understand the reason
- 48:08Speaker 2: for that is because they're trying to avoid as many
- 48:10Speaker 2: injuries because you know, I think about it, when you've
- 48:13Speaker 2: got a bunch of grown men running at each other
- 48:16Speaker 2: and someone gets like smacked hard, you know, it's like
- 48:20Speaker 2: they could get paralyzed and or injured within the first
- 48:24Speaker 2: like five seconds of the game. So it's like to
- 48:26Speaker 2: avoid as many injuries. That's a big reason why they
- 48:29Speaker 2: did it. But in general, the sport is there's new rules.
- 48:34Speaker 2: I swear every couple of years, there's always new rules. Yeah,
- 48:37Speaker 2: everything exchanging.
- 48:38Speaker 1: What's what's next with the Athletics podcast.
- 48:43Speaker 2: I am very excited. I'm hoping that starting as of
- 48:47Speaker 2: this Thursday, actually, I'm hoping to come in, sit down,
- 48:52Speaker 2: talk more lethal sports with you guys, and in general,
- 48:57Speaker 2: just get back into it. I have so many things
- 49:00Speaker 2: I want to talk about. I have some ideas for
- 49:02Speaker 2: the future.
- 49:03Speaker 1: I am.
- 49:04Speaker 2: I am ready to you know, make a splash again,
- 49:09Speaker 2: and I'm hoping to get people to come, you know, listen,
- 49:12Speaker 2: take a couple of minutes out of their day. Like
- 49:14Speaker 2: I said, Thursday, I'm coming in to sit down probably
- 49:18Speaker 2: around probably gonna do noon, maybe noon or something like that.
- 49:23Speaker 2: Well I'll make yeah, I think so, either noon or
- 49:25Speaker 2: I want to do in the afternoon. But either way,
- 49:28Speaker 2: just this Thursday, look out for the fact that I
- 49:31Speaker 2: will be back in here and ready to continue, continue
- 49:35Speaker 2: this journey, continue this path.
- 49:37Speaker 1: It's really cool, man. I'm excited too. Thank you so
- 49:41Speaker 1: much for coming in here.
- 49:42Speaker 2: Thank you.
- 49:43Speaker 1: I always love chatting with you.
- 49:45Speaker 2: Logan, thank you, and I love I love being here,
- 49:47Speaker 2: so thank you. You always teach me so much, man,
- 49:49Speaker 2: Thank you, I appreciate it.
- 49:50Speaker 1: Thanks brother.
- 49:51Speaker 2: I'm trying. I'm trying my best to keep you informed,
- 49:54Speaker 2: keep you and your audience, formed everybody you know, learning
- 49:57Speaker 2: things that you know. Maybe you're not really s because
- 50:00Speaker 2: you're focused on the big you know, mainstream news that's
- 50:03Speaker 2: going on. So I'm here to fill you in on
- 50:05Speaker 2: like the side sports news.
- 50:10Speaker 1: You got time to stick around for a few minutes,
- 50:12Speaker 1: I totally can't. Yeah, awesome, man, because I want to
- 50:15Speaker 1: chat with you more. So there's, uh, there's good reason
- 50:20Speaker 1: why I gave a detailed forecast this morning, and I
- 50:26Speaker 1: want to just kind of shed some some light on this.
- 50:33Speaker 1: I gave a detailed forecast this morning because almost every morning,
- 50:41Speaker 1: I well every morning, I go into the weather forecast.
- 50:46Speaker 1: Some days I go into more details than others. Yesterday
- 50:52Speaker 1: wasn't a lot of detail. It was kind of brief.
- 50:57Speaker 1: And I want to apologize to you because apparently there
- 51:04Speaker 1: was there was some some really big concern yesterday, uh
- 51:11Speaker 1: in a post that I had that I had put up.
- 51:16Speaker 1: So yesterday I was I was on the road with
- 51:23Speaker 1: a very dear friend of mine who I am a
- 51:27Speaker 1: care giver for, and I saw in an email. I
- 51:32Speaker 1: got a ping on my phone and I pulled over
- 51:36Speaker 1: and I had a very quick glance at it, and
- 51:42Speaker 1: I'm gonna I'm going to put it up here on
- 51:47Speaker 1: the page so that everyone can see. Let's see where
- 51:51Speaker 1: is it here? Yeah? Right here? Here is the email
- 51:56Speaker 1: that I received from the City of Barry. It says
- 52:04Speaker 1: an emergency parking ban, and I'll highlight it here. An
- 52:10Speaker 1: emergency parking ban is being issued for March thirtieth and
- 52:16Speaker 1: March thirty first, no parking on city streets or parking
- 52:22Speaker 1: lots from eleven pm to six am on Monday night
- 52:27Speaker 1: into early Tuesday morning, and eleven pm to six am
- 52:33Speaker 1: Tuesday nights into early Wednesday morning. Violators will be towed.
- 52:41Speaker 1: Parking available at the br during the ban. See below
- 52:48Speaker 1: for parking instructions so your vehicle is not towed, and
- 52:53Speaker 1: visit our website for new winter parking rules. Berry city
- 53:00Speaker 1: dot org slash winter parking. That was the email that
- 53:07Speaker 1: I had received, and that is what I highlighted and
- 53:15Speaker 1: posted on the aired out page, the exact words. When
- 53:26Speaker 1: I read this, there was some admitted assumption that I
- 53:37Speaker 1: had that this must be related to street sweeping. Why
- 53:45Speaker 1: else would there be a parking band because and I
- 53:52Speaker 1: even said to myself, you read the weather forecast this morning,
- 53:56Speaker 1: right JD. Was there any word of snow or a
- 54:01Speaker 1: snow storm, no just rain. When I copied and pasted
- 54:16Speaker 1: these words onto aired Out yesterday right there, as you
- 54:23Speaker 1: can see, an emergency parking band is being issued from
- 54:27Speaker 1: March thirtieth and thirty. First, I added in the words
- 54:36Speaker 1: street sweeping, but only hours later when I saw on
- 54:48Speaker 1: the city page that they had added street sweeping, So
- 54:58Speaker 1: my assumption that it was streets weeping was correct. But
- 55:04Speaker 1: the original email that I got just said an emergency
- 55:12Speaker 1: parking band is being issued without giving reason why. This
- 55:25Speaker 1: apparently created a ripple effect of panic in our community.
- 55:41Speaker 1: One of the comments, and I know about the Regroup,
- 55:50Speaker 1: and I know that the regroup message on the app
- 55:56Speaker 1: said street sweeping, but pulled over on the side of
- 56:04Speaker 1: the road. Apparently I was I provided a gross disservice
- 56:19Speaker 1: to our community by just highlighting, copying and pasting the
- 56:23Speaker 1: words onto the aired Out Facebook page which only said
- 56:33Speaker 1: emergency parking band. The initial email that came in to me,
- 56:39Speaker 1: which is auto generated, and I just want to apologize
- 56:49Speaker 1: for creating so much panic and unrest in our community.
- 57:03Speaker 1: One of the comments that I got, and I've got
- 57:08Speaker 1: it on the screen right here, is from a guy
- 57:13Speaker 1: Roger Boyce, and he says, right here, another slow news day.
- 57:27Speaker 1: Here we go again with this page, get everyone all
- 57:34Speaker 1: freaked out, riled up, and purposely neglect to explain the
- 57:44Speaker 1: reason for the parking band when you know full well
- 57:53Speaker 1: exactly why the band is going into effect. Great job,
- 58:01Speaker 1: aired out, Bravo, JD Bravo. Pathetic and sad. You should
- 58:20Speaker 1: be so proud of becoming what everyone wants to avoid.
- 58:28Speaker 1: You've been hanging around Barry too long, bro slowly becoming
- 58:34Speaker 1: nothing more than a cage rattler pod. It's just so
- 58:43Speaker 1: easy to do it in Vermont, isn't it. You shouldn't
- 58:49Speaker 1: cast anything in a real city. You'd be out of
- 58:58Speaker 1: your league. Yeah, Stacy says, I'd block him. I don't
- 59:10Speaker 1: think so. I don't think so. Again. Here's the email
- 59:23Speaker 1: that I received, and I'm just going to read it
- 59:28Speaker 1: again here because it's a pretty slow news day, just
- 59:34Speaker 1: in case Roger missed it the first time. The email
- 59:39Speaker 1: that I received from the city that says, and I've
- 59:44Speaker 1: highlighted it right there. I know you might need your readers.
- 59:49Speaker 1: An emergency parking band is being issued from March thirty
- 59:55Speaker 1: and thirty one. No parking on City stret reads or
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: parking lots from eleven pm to six am Monday night
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: into early Tuesday morning, and eleven pm to six am
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: Tuesday night into early Wednesday morning. Violators will be towed.
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: Parking available at the Boar during the ban see below
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: for parking instructions so your vehicle is not towed. Visit
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: our website for new winter parking rules. Berrycity dot org
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: slash winter Parking. If you, like Roger, were put into
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: a frenzy of panic yesterday because I failed to explain
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: the reason behind the emergency parking band, I want to
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: apologize to you, and I know when we see the
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: word emergency it's a hot button for some of us
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: that we go into a panic. And again, if you're
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: aware of the forecast, which I'm going to try harder
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: to make you more aware of the details of the forecast.
- 1:01:55Speaker 2: You.
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: Knew yesterday that there was not a winter storm coming.
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: It would be my assumption that it would be street
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: sweeping or some other reason for the emergency parking band.
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: But for apparently, according to Roger, some of you, maybe
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: even many of you, thought that maybe I was trying
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: to imply that there was a nor'easter that was going
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: to shut down the whole city. I'm sorry for creating
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: so much unrest and upheaval in our community. I'm sorry
