- 0:00Speaker 1: What's going on in the entertainment world?
- 0:02Speaker 2: I imagine this being really terrifying, but Ella Langley, she
- 0:07Speaker 2: canceled her Tulsa concert after a bomb threat. Even though
- 0:09Speaker 2: police never found anything suspicious, she was like on stage
- 0:13Speaker 2: the next night explaining, look, I was faced with a
- 0:16Speaker 2: decision that was going to affect 15,000 people.
- 0:20Speaker 3: I decided to make the decision that I can live
- 0:23Speaker 3: with the rest of my life.
- 0:25Speaker 4: And so that's what I'll do.
- 0:26Speaker 3: Because when it comes to keeping you safe and making
- 0:29Speaker 3: sure that this show is a safe place for us
- 0:31Speaker 3: to come and enjoy our music, then it will happen.
- 0:34Speaker 3: But the second it feels like it's not, I'm not
- 0:36Speaker 3: doing it. I'm not doing it. She's not doing it.
- 0:38Speaker 2: She's not going to risk the safety of the people
- 0:41Speaker 2: that are paying to see her. So she said out
- 0:43Speaker 2: of an abundance of caution, she canceled the concert and
- 0:45Speaker 2: she would do it again. The Kardashians, you guys, they're
- 0:48Speaker 2: getting dragged right now. I don't know if you guys
- 0:50Speaker 2: have seen the latest opening for their new season of
- 0:53Speaker 2: the Kardashians.
- 0:54Speaker 3: They use AI.
- 0:54Speaker 2: Basically, it's literally the whole family, an AI version of them.
- 0:59Speaker 2: And it's a little creepy because they're very realistic, like
- 1:02Speaker 2: super deep fake. And Chloe's like, a lot of people
- 1:06Speaker 2: are mad that we used AI, but they didn't necessarily
- 1:09Speaker 2: watch the whole thing. And you have to hear the ending.
- 1:12Speaker 1: They made AI versions of all of us?
- 1:16Speaker 4: I mean, me, I understand.
- 1:18Speaker 1: We think you guys are great, but AI is much easier.
- 1:21Speaker 1: We don't have scheduling conflicts, no glam is necessary, and
- 1:24Speaker 1: we can cry on cue without messing up our makeup.
- 1:27Speaker 1: I don't know who you think you're talking to, but
- 1:30Speaker 1: this real family, real family cannot be replaced. We don't
- 1:34Speaker 1: need AI when we have this reality.
- 1:37Speaker 4: Yeah, I think it's time for these AI to go.
- 1:42Speaker 2: So people are like getting mad that they used AI,
- 1:44Speaker 2: but the whole point of it is to say they
- 1:46Speaker 2: don't need AI.
- 1:47Speaker 3: They don't want AI.
- 1:48Speaker 2: They want AI to go.
- 1:49Speaker 5: Right.
- 1:49Speaker 3: They're trolling themselves, right? Because it's like they've all had,
- 1:53Speaker 3: we all know that they have had a couple edit
- 1:55Speaker 3: mishaps and Photoshop mishaps. So, I mean, that's why I
- 1:58Speaker 3: love the Kardashians because they, they are in on the joke.
- 2:02Speaker 3: It's great.
- 2:02Speaker 2: It's great.
- 2:03Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 2:03Speaker 2: So don't get mad. They're not, the show isn't going AI.
- 2:06Speaker 2: They were basically saying we're not, we're not going to
- 2:08Speaker 2: do that. Sydney Sweeney, she has another head-turning ad for
- 2:13Speaker 2: that bedding site that she has done commercials for before.
- 2:17Speaker 2: This time, it opens up on her booty in, like,
- 2:20Speaker 2: men's tighty-whities, and she's walking away. And she is also topless,
- 2:25Speaker 2: and she's kind of poking fun at how obsessed people
- 2:27Speaker 2: are with what she's wearing.
- 2:29Speaker 3: There are grown men making spreadsheets to bet on what
- 2:32Speaker 3: color underwear I'm wearing. I mean.
- 2:35Speaker 5: I'm flattered.
- 2:36Speaker 4: There's someone sitting in a bathroom stall betting their 401k
- 2:39Speaker 4: on a war.
- 2:40Speaker 3: And then there are people who just trade on sports.
- 2:43Speaker 4: Novig is just sports.
- 2:46Speaker 2: Novig is genius for getting Sidney Sweeney to close off
- 2:49Speaker 2: for their ad.
- 2:51Speaker 3: I wonder how much that costs.
- 2:52Speaker 4: It's got to be a ton because she's basically... gave
- 2:57Speaker 4: him everything i.
- 2:58Speaker 3: Know superstar literally i'm watching it right now what a
- 3:01Speaker 3: great ad toby mcguire he took co-parenting goals to like
- 3:04Speaker 3: an entirely new level over the weekend he officiated his
- 3:08Speaker 3: ex-wife jennifer meyer's wedding to music executive um executive josh
- 3:13Speaker 3: ogun lesi in hawaii so they share two kids together
- 3:15Speaker 3: toby and jennifer do so the fact that he was
- 3:18Speaker 3: like up there officiating and that they could all be
- 3:20Speaker 3: there together in front of like Leonardo DiCaprio, Jeff Bezos
- 3:23Speaker 3: was there, so was Courtney Cox. But what was kind
- 3:26Speaker 3: of weird about the timing of this, if you saw
- 3:28Speaker 3: just a couple weeks ago, Tobey Maguire and Jennifer's divorce
- 3:32Speaker 3: was just finalized. So now she's got a divorce.
- 3:35Speaker 2: They must have been separated for a bit.
- 3:37Speaker 3: They've been separated for, like, over a decade. But, like,
- 3:39Speaker 3: to me, I'm like, that's kind of telling. They're like,
- 3:41Speaker 3: it wasn't that pressing. Like, I have to divorce this
- 3:43Speaker 3: man right this very second.
- 3:45Speaker 2: And the fact that they're, like, that much of buddies that, like,
- 3:47Speaker 2: everyone was okay with it, even the new husband.
- 3:51Speaker 3: Officiated your wedding.
- 3:52Speaker 5: That is crazy.
- 3:52Speaker 4: I know.
- 3:54Speaker 3: I love when people do that.
- 3:55Speaker 2: It's, like, such a good example that, like, you can
- 3:57Speaker 2: take the high road. You can find, like, a common
- 3:59Speaker 2: ground and get along.
- 4:00Speaker 3: Totally.
- 4:01Speaker 2: Shane Gillis hosted Saturday Night Live for the third time
- 4:03Speaker 2: this weekend, accidentally dropped an F-bomb on live TV. It
- 4:07Speaker 2: happened during a Dr. Seuss inspired sketch. And you could
- 4:11Speaker 2: tell like you're going to hear it. But when you
- 4:14Speaker 2: see it, his face like immediately, he was like, oh,
- 4:17Speaker 2: my gosh.
- 4:17Speaker 3: Whoops. The hell's wrong with you?
- 4:21Speaker 4: My dad said he doesn't like green eggs and ham.
- 4:22Speaker 3: Drop it.
- 4:23Speaker 4: Walk away.
- 4:24Speaker 2: But he may like green eggs and ham.
- 4:26Speaker 4: Bro, it's a non-starter. He said he doesn't f * * *
- 4:29Speaker 4: ing cheese like them.
- 4:30Speaker 5: Oh, f * * *.
- 4:34Speaker 2: So Mikey Day, he worked it into the sketch, and
- 4:36Speaker 2: then Shane did apologize at the end of the show. Because, yeah,
- 4:39Speaker 2: you still can't do that, even if it's... Even.
- 4:42Speaker 3: Late at night. Well, I watched it.
- 4:44Speaker 2: They already cleaned it up.
- 4:46Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah. Whoopsies.
- 4:48Speaker 2: This is really cool. The new Grand Theft Auto is
- 4:50Speaker 2: coming out November 19th, and it is going to have
- 4:53Speaker 2: the craziest lineup of DJs within the game. Bad Bunny,
- 4:57Speaker 2: Lana Del Rey, Morgan Wallen, Robin, and even members of Slayer.
- 5:02Speaker 2: getting their own spots on the radio stations inside the game.
- 5:04Speaker 2: So while you're driving around causing chaos, you can flip
- 5:07Speaker 2: between Latin music, pop, country, heavy metal, whatever you're feeling
- 5:11Speaker 2: at the time. I think this is also a genius
- 5:13Speaker 2: idea from Grand Theft Auto. Lance Bass, this is something
- 5:17Speaker 2: we kind of learned during that documentary, that NSYNC documentary, remember?
- 5:21Speaker 2: Like where we were like, oh, wow, like they did
- 5:24Speaker 2: not make a whole lot of money. being on NSYNC
- 5:26Speaker 2: and that was like kind of surprising to everybody because
- 5:28Speaker 2: you see the success that NSYNC had and you would
- 5:31Speaker 2: think they were making millions but he was on a
- 5:33Speaker 2: podcast and they brought it up again and yeah he
- 5:35Speaker 2: confirmed it was it was a lot less than what
- 5:37Speaker 2: you could imagine.
- 5:38Speaker 4: The whole crazy thing is like you guys get paid
- 5:40Speaker 4: for none of this yeah we got a per diem
- 5:43Speaker 4: $ 35 a day I mean you really only ended up
- 5:45Speaker 4: making like between five and ten thousand dollars from this
- 5:46Speaker 4: thing yeah it was uh Her first check was a
- 5:49Speaker 4: $ 10, 000 check after years of number one albums, sellout tours.
- 5:54Speaker 4: I don't know how many millions they made off her merchandise.
- 5:57Speaker 3: Wow.
- 5:58Speaker 2: $ 35 a day and one $ 10, 000 check after years of
- 6:01Speaker 2: them touring.
- 6:03Speaker 4: Well, you're talking about DJs on Grand Theft Auto. John
- 6:07Speaker 4: Summit was in Sedona chilling out. DMing him like a
- 6:10Speaker 4: hundred times, couldn't come in.
- 6:11Speaker 1: You're in Sedona, just cruise over.
- 6:13Speaker 4: Come on, man.
- 6:14Speaker 3: She's so cool.
- 6:14Speaker 4: She's just like a normal guy.
- 6:16Speaker 3: Krista.
- 6:17Speaker 4: You got an algorithm issue?
- 6:20Speaker 5: Yeah, I started getting songs to kill my husband. When
- 6:26Speaker 5: I first started my Spotify years ago, I think I added, like,
- 6:30Speaker 5: Dixie Chicks, Earl, Miranda Lambert, you know, Gunpowder and Lead.
- 6:34Speaker 3: Great one.
- 6:35Speaker 5: And I listened to, like, Frank Sinatra, you know, Post Malone,
- 6:38Speaker 5: but I didn't get a chance to put everything in,
- 6:40Speaker 5: and I'm not on any kind of social media, so
- 6:42Speaker 5: I think it just picked up those two, and I
- 6:44Speaker 5: just started listening. I noticed I was... getting all kinds
- 6:47Speaker 5: of songs about killing your man.
- 6:50Speaker 1: Did you get the Taylor Swift and Haim one?
- 6:53Speaker 5: Oh, I'm sure all of them. You know what I mean?
- 6:55Speaker 5: I'd be listening and go, what the?
- 6:57Speaker 1: Oh, my God.
- 6:58Speaker 5: So I had to get in there and put my
- 7:00Speaker 5: other stuff in there. people didn't think that I was
- 7:03Speaker 5: killing people.
- 7:04Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 7:05Speaker 4: If your husband did end up dead, your playlist would
- 7:07Speaker 4: definitely be on exhibit a.
- 7:08Speaker 2: Absolutely.
- 7:10Speaker 5: Yeah. 100.
- 7:10Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 7:10Speaker 5: Love you guys.
- 7:13Speaker 4: Happy Monday.
- 7:13Speaker 5: Thank you for making me smile before I go into
- 7:15Speaker 5: this every day.
- 7:16Speaker 4: Thank you very much.
