  Speaker 1: know what we're gonna go through. Know that whatever you're

  Speaker 1: kept me. He kept me because he could have took

  Speaker 1: me out while I was out there in them streets,

  Speaker 1: while I was out there in them clubs, while I

  Speaker 1: was out there home, mning and doing all that stuff. Yeah,

  Speaker 1: he could have. He could have. He could have tossed

  Speaker 1: me to the woods. But he kept me. He kept me.

  Speaker 1: If you want to be kept, he'll keep you. And

  Speaker 1: he kept me because there were plenty of times when

  Speaker 1: the enemy wanted to take me out, even in my mess,

  Speaker 1: and he spared my life. I remember, I'm gonna tell

  Speaker 1: y'all this quick story, and I'm gonna go on. I

  Speaker 1: remember I was a manager at Papa John's in Atlanta,

  Speaker 1: and I had just got I just transferred over to

  Speaker 1: a new store over on Camington Road. And everybody that
• 23:03
  Speaker 1: know Atlanta and know Camerton Road area know that it
• 23:06
  Speaker 1: ain't the best of areas and I got transferred over
• 23:10
  Speaker 1: to that camera Camington Road store. I was assistant manager
• 23:13
  Speaker 1: at that time. And when you know, when you running shift,
• 23:18
  Speaker 1: then you got a shift leader there and you're backed
• 23:22
  Speaker 1: up on deliveries, you got to get out there and
• 23:25
  Speaker 1: help your drivers. So that's what I did, and I
• 23:28
  Speaker 1: called how I called this person because they had a
• 23:31
  Speaker 1: big order, and they said that when I called them
• 23:35
  Speaker 1: to tell them that I was coming with the order,
• 23:38
  Speaker 1: they asked if if I was gonna have a change
• 23:40
  Speaker 1: for one hundred. I told them, no, we don't care,
• 23:42
  Speaker 1: we don't carry that. I say, the most I'll have
• 23:45
  Speaker 1: is a change for a twenty. That's that's That's all
• 23:48
  Speaker 1: I have is a change for a twenty. And even
• 23:52
  Speaker 1: take no money with me. After they said that, I
• 23:54
  Speaker 1: didn't even take no money correct change, and I went,

  Speaker 1: y'all when I pull up, not a look at the time,
• 24:07
  Speaker 1: and I was having problems with my gas pop sometime
• 24:11
  Speaker 1: it would take my car a couple of minutes to
• 24:13
  Speaker 1: start up. As I turned it over, it wouldn't start immediately.

  Speaker 1: And I, for some reason, normally when I pull up,
• 24:21
  Speaker 1: I was just leave my car running because I'm just
• 24:24
  Speaker 1: gonna jump in and jump out. But that night and
• 24:27
  Speaker 1: it was dark, y'all. When I pulled up, I said,
• 24:31
  Speaker 1: I turned the car off, and first of mine told
• 24:36
  Speaker 1: me not to go to the back, to go to
• 24:37
  Speaker 1: the front. But they told me to come to the back.
• 24:39
  Speaker 1: So I went around to the back. I knocked on
• 24:42
  Speaker 1: the door, and look when nobody coming. And it was dark.

  Speaker 1: When nobody back there? When when nobody coming, So I
• 24:48
  Speaker 1: went back and got in my car, y'all. And as
• 24:51
  Speaker 1: soon as I pulled off and was headed down the street, y'all,
• 24:54
  Speaker 1: whole I see three black men. Well I don't even
• 24:57
  Speaker 1: know what color they was, but they was all. They
• 24:58
  Speaker 1: were dressed in all black. They had on masks and everything.

  Speaker 1: I said, that was coming to rob me. I said,

  Speaker 1: that was coming to rob me. I'm so, I'm so

  Speaker 1: glad that I was in tune with the spirit because
• 25:12
  Speaker 1: you know how you say it something told you to

  Speaker 1: get back in the car. Well, that spirit, the spirit,

  Speaker 1: the Holy Spirit, told me to get back in the car.

  Speaker 1: I heard it. This was playing this day. It's a
• 25:20
  Speaker 1: get back in the car. And when as soon as
• 25:23
  Speaker 1: I got in the car and pulled off, that happened.

  Speaker 1: So when I tell you, he will keep you in
• 25:29
  Speaker 1: your mess. You just gotta try. Try. We know that

  Speaker 1: we didn't get where we are overnight, so things are
• 25:39
  Speaker 1: not just gonna miraculously happen. But you got to put

  Speaker 1: in the work and you gotta try. You gotta place

  Speaker 1: it in your heart. You gotta want to do right.

  Speaker 1: And when you want to do right, he can help
