- 1:17Speaker 3: Hilarious, wearing a fall look.
- 1:19Speaker 2: Fall, yeah. Fall delight, as you would say.
- 1:22Speaker 4: Yes.
- 1:23Speaker 5: Not that anyone would ever not finish this episode, but
- 1:25Speaker 5: at the end, we will be featuring... Chris's Halloween costume.
- 1:29Speaker 2: My Halloween costume that I'll be wearing this Halloween as
- 1:31Speaker 2: part of a family costume. We've become those people now
- 1:35Speaker 2: where we all dress as a family. You'll see what
- 1:39Speaker 2: it's going to be.
- 1:40Speaker 3: Well, you asked what I have going on in my life.
- 1:43Speaker 2: On Halloween, yes.
- 1:44Speaker 5: Well, this Friday, as in tomorrow, because air is Thursday,
- 1:49Speaker 5: there is, in my new community, there is at our
- 1:53Speaker 5: country club a Freaky Friday night event. Oh, and at
- 1:57Speaker 5: first I wasn't going to go. I was actually going
- 2:00Speaker 5: to do like a girls weekend in La Quinta. But
- 2:02Speaker 5: then people kept saying, you've got to go.
- 2:04Speaker 3: You've got to go. Isn't it kind of kid like
- 2:06Speaker 3: like isn't there little kids? They're like, it is. But
- 2:08Speaker 3: you have to see it. They're like families dress up
- 2:12Speaker 3: like each like I'm.
- 2:14Speaker 2: Sure they like the movie. Like you switch bodies.
- 2:16Speaker 3: No, no, no.
- 2:17Speaker 5: It's just a Halloween theme. But they're like, there's a
- 2:20Speaker 5: maze and there's a this and it's a that. And
- 2:22Speaker 5: they're like, the parents drink. And like, if you're a
- 2:24Speaker 5: really little kid, you can't drink that much. But all
- 2:26Speaker 5: the other people that have older kids, like, well, I
- 2:29Speaker 5: don't really have any kid coming. But then my other
- 2:32Speaker 5: girlfriend was like, I don't know. She's like, I've got
- 2:34Speaker 5: nothing to do Friday. I'm like, I just think we
- 2:35Speaker 5: should need to go and see it.
- 2:37Speaker 2: All right.
- 2:37Speaker 5: I'm like, OK, so I have my. You know, I'm
- 2:41Speaker 5: still debating on the costumes. Oh, that's exciting. I have
- 2:45Speaker 5: a costume that came in.
- 2:46Speaker 2: Are you going all out or are you going to
- 2:48Speaker 2: half-ass it?
- 2:48Speaker 5: So then next Friday, the real Halloween, our community goes
- 2:52Speaker 5: off too.
- 2:53Speaker 3: So you walk the streets. And there's a real party
- 2:56Speaker 3: to go to.
- 2:57Speaker 2: On Halloween night.
- 2:58Speaker 4: Yes.
- 2:58Speaker 5: And the rumors that I've heard is that there's bars
- 3:04Speaker 5: for the adults for the trick-or-treating.
- 3:06Speaker 3: Everyone is under golf carts. There is In-N-Out burger trucks
- 3:12Speaker 3: for treats. Man. So anyway, Drake had a great idea.
- 3:15Speaker 2: Okay.
- 3:18Speaker 5: We, as you said last time you were at our house,
- 3:20Speaker 5: today we're in the studio in Burbank because we do.
- 3:23Speaker 3: Both and I don't know what I'm doing with the future. Okay. Whatever. And,
- 3:27Speaker 3: but Peter took on a project that, At the house? Yes.
- 3:32Speaker 3: That probably is, you probably underestimated.
- 3:36Speaker 2: In over his head. He's in over his head.
- 3:38Speaker 3: What did you call us again?
- 3:39Speaker 2: The Schlegels.
- 3:40Speaker 3: The Schlegels.
- 3:40Speaker 2: The Schlegels, just a little bit of backstory. They're a
- 3:43Speaker 2: person in my neighborhood I grew up in where every
- 3:46Speaker 2: neighborhood has one. You know, it's just no matter how
- 3:49Speaker 2: nice the neighborhood, there's one house that's a little bit,
- 3:52Speaker 2: you know, Schlegely. It's the only way. And that was
- 3:54Speaker 2: the name. They have like a workout bench on the
- 3:56Speaker 2: front lawn. You know, they have a. Indoor furniture, furniture
- 4:00Speaker 2: that's meant for the indoors, they have it outside. Why not?
- 4:03Speaker 2: It's a couch.
- 4:03Speaker 3: A couch that actually on the end has the lounge chair.
- 4:06Speaker 2: Yeah, and it could work on the patio as well.
- 4:09Speaker 2: With the drinks that are stuck in there. Yes, yes, yes.
- 4:11Speaker 2: So that's a Schlegel. And I think I said you
- 4:14Speaker 2: guys don't become the Schlegel of your new neighborhood.
- 4:17Speaker 5: Speaking of those couches, I just happened to watch– sister-wise
- 4:21Speaker 5: that I haven't in a long time. And Cody's down
- 4:23Speaker 5: to his last wife and they're moving and they're trying
- 4:26Speaker 5: to like move the, all the show's been on for
- 4:29Speaker 5: 25 seasons and 17 seasons feature them moving.
- 4:33Speaker 3: They've moved so many times.
- 4:35Speaker 2: Okay.
- 4:35Speaker 3: And as they're moving, Cody's like getting out that like
- 4:39Speaker 3: saran wrap stuff.
- 4:40Speaker 5: For like the couch pieces. And it's all those couches
- 4:44Speaker 5: that each one, it has a plug.
- 4:46Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah.
- 4:47Speaker 3: And it reclines. And it reclines and it has the
- 4:50Speaker 3: drinks in it.
- 4:51Speaker 2: And they're brown. That's a trashy look. I know.
- 4:54Speaker 3: It's horrible.
- 4:55Speaker 5: And I'm like, oh, I know if I like research
- 4:57Speaker 5: people's comments, they definitely were talking. And he's wrapping it.
- 4:59Speaker 5: I'm like, I don't think you need to wrap it.
- 5:01Speaker 3: Yeah. I think it's going to be fine just throwing
- 5:03Speaker 3: it in the truck.
- 5:04Speaker 2: Yeah. I've never been that thirsty that I need my
- 5:07Speaker 2: drink next to me at all times.
- 5:10Speaker 3: In the thing.
- 5:11Speaker 2: Yeah, in the thing. I don't need a cup holder
- 5:13Speaker 2: in my couch. I think I'm good.
- 5:17Speaker 5: Anyway, so then, yeah. So that's why I've definitely... So
- 5:20Speaker 5: what did Peter take on?
- 5:22Speaker 2: What is the.
- 5:23Speaker 5: It is a theater backyard, just fixy steps going down
- 5:27Speaker 5: where you can go down to the golf course.
- 5:30Speaker 3: It's wood. I don't know. But there's a dirt. And
- 5:33Speaker 3: so Drake goes, And it's taking a long time with
- 5:36Speaker 3: the men that we got.
- 5:37Speaker 2: Okay.
- 5:37Speaker 5: And so Drake said, I have a great idea for
- 5:40Speaker 5: Halloween this year, Mom.
- 5:41Speaker 3: I go, what?
- 5:42Speaker 5: He goes, when the kids come, we're just going to
- 5:44Speaker 5: give them a Home Depot bucket. And if they take
- 5:48Speaker 5: the dirt that's on our driveway and bring it down
- 5:52Speaker 5: to the– area in the backyard and dump it, then
- 5:59Speaker 5: they'll get a free candy bar.
- 6:00Speaker 2: Oh, so you have to put them to work.
- 6:01Speaker 3: Get them to work. And he goes, and it'll be spooky.
- 6:03Speaker 3: It'll look like a scary maze that you could like
- 6:05Speaker 3: fall and roll down the hill on.
- 6:07Speaker 2: Not a bad idea.
- 6:08Speaker 3: Not if we try to make the best of everything.
- 6:11Speaker 2: So that'll be fun. So what is your costume going
- 6:13Speaker 2: to be?
- 6:14Speaker 5: You know, I don't know if I want to announce
- 6:16Speaker 5: it just yet. Because I got, it came in. It's
- 6:20Speaker 5: one that I've worn before, but it's a cheaper version
- 6:22Speaker 5: of it. Someone's going to figure it out.
- 6:24Speaker 3: And I was like, I don't know. I don't know
- 6:28Speaker 3: if I can pull this off.
- 6:29Speaker 2: Okay.
- 6:29Speaker 5: You know, like, I thought it might be my last
- 6:32Speaker 5: slut year, but I've said that like every year.
- 6:34Speaker 2: Oh, is it slut again?
- 6:35Speaker 3: It's a little bit slut.
- 6:36Speaker 5: And then I, then I was like, then when I
- 6:39Speaker 5: went to Brandy and Julie's show in San Francisco, which
- 6:42Speaker 5: is like this horror dance show, Nightmare on Strip Street.
- 6:46Speaker 2: A what? A horror dance show?
- 6:47Speaker 3: Horror, like horror movie. Oh, horror. And then the dancers
- 6:50Speaker 3: like do.
- 6:50Speaker 2: The- I thought you said whores were dancing.
- 6:52Speaker 3: No, horror.
- 6:53Speaker 2: Which would also be fun.
- 6:53Speaker 3: They were kind of whores, but they were great dancers
- 6:55Speaker 3: with great bodies.
- 6:56Speaker 4: Oh, good.
- 6:56Speaker 3: Anyway, I was like, ooh, do I want to do Megan?
- 7:01Speaker 3: The Meghan costume.
- 7:02Speaker 2: Oh, Meghan the doll.
- 7:03Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 7:03Speaker 2: Yeah, like that. Or maybe I should do Meghan Markle.
- 7:07Speaker 2: Do you have a Gap shirt with the collar up?
- 7:09Speaker 3: Maybe I just should. I kind of want to do something.
- 7:11Speaker 5: I'm hoping that something would come to me like funny,
- 7:14Speaker 5: like last minute.
- 7:15Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 7:16Speaker 5: That I could pull together. Because I do have wigs
- 7:18Speaker 5: and things that aren't like. you know, something like trashy
- 7:23Speaker 5: lingerie ish. Like I just want something kind of like, Oh,
- 7:25Speaker 5: well that's clever.
- 7:26Speaker 3: Like, I don't know.
- 7:28Speaker 5: So yeah, it kind of, we were both like Drake
- 7:30Speaker 5: was with me and we were both like, I don't know.
- 7:31Speaker 5: Now I feel like I want to do something scary. Oh,
- 7:34Speaker 5: which I've never really done.
- 7:36Speaker 2: Okay. That's a good one. Megan.
- 7:38Speaker 3: I'll just go with no makeup on.
- 7:43Speaker 2: That'll do it.
- 7:44Speaker 3: Uh, yeah.
- 7:45Speaker 2: That's fun.
- 7:46Speaker 3: Yes, so it'll be exciting. We're doing all of that.
- 7:50Speaker 5: All right, let's get into some topics. Oh, but I
- 7:53Speaker 5: was saying, San Francisco, because I said, how was Vegas?
- 7:56Speaker 2: I was in Las Vegas. You were in Las Vegas.
- 7:58Speaker 3: And I'm like, you hear these things. It's dead. Nobody's around.
- 8:02Speaker 3: It's a ghost town.
- 8:03Speaker 2: Right.
- 8:04Speaker 3: And what was your.
- 8:06Speaker 2: My take away from Las Vegas was it seemed like
- 8:08Speaker 2: it was still going. I mean, I'm an old man now,
- 8:12Speaker 2: but you could still have a good time in Las
- 8:14Speaker 2: Vegas if you wanted to. I mean, I watched these
- 8:16Speaker 2: kids going into the club and the MGM. Lined up.
- 8:19Speaker 2: I mean, oh my God, lined. But everyone's just, you know,
- 8:22Speaker 2: 18 years old, it looks like. I'm happy to say,
- 8:25Speaker 2: you were speaking of slutty outfits, they're back. They are back.
- 8:28Speaker 2: Everybody was wearing, yeah, like a lot of, the giant
- 8:32Speaker 2: pants seem to be gone.
- 8:33Speaker 3: Oh my God, thank God.
- 8:35Speaker 2: I know.
- 8:35Speaker 3: I have been praying that the giant pants.
- 8:36Speaker 2: And the sneakers, and the big white sneakers seem to
- 8:39Speaker 2: be gone. I mean, this is in Vegas, so it's
- 8:40Speaker 2: a little different.
- 8:41Speaker 3: Well, if you're going to a nightclub.
- 8:42Speaker 2: Yeah. So they were still, they were all out.
- 8:45Speaker 3: We got it.
- 8:45Speaker 5: Yeah, we got the, We got to get the kids
- 8:47Speaker 5: back into going out and getting drunk.
- 8:51Speaker 3: However, I noticed a new thing in going out.
- 8:54Speaker 2: What's that?
- 8:55Speaker 5: Because we went, you know, we were out in San Francisco.
- 8:57Speaker 5: And then last night we went to a really good
- 8:59Speaker 5: restaurant for McKenzie's birthday in Sherman Oaks. And have you
- 9:05Speaker 5: noticed if you order a drink like a martini or something,
- 9:08Speaker 5: it is in the fucking tiniest glass.
- 9:11Speaker 3: I have ever seen.
- 9:12Speaker 2: Really?
- 9:13Speaker 3: They are like, it's like a joke.
- 9:15Speaker 5: This has now happened the last few times I've gone
- 9:17Speaker 5: to a restaurant and ordered like a Cosmo.
- 9:19Speaker 3: In the past, a Cosmo was like this, okay?
- 9:22Speaker 2: Nice size, martini glass.
- 9:24Speaker 3: Sometimes, if you're at a good place, they'll even give
- 9:27Speaker 3: you the leftover sidecar. Yeah. Okay? Now, the drink is
- 9:31Speaker 3: literally like so small.
- 9:34Speaker 2: Wow.
- 9:35Speaker 3: Now, they do fill it up to the rim.
- 9:36Speaker 5: So then you're like, because you know each sip is
- 9:39Speaker 5: worth like $ 1.
- 9:39Speaker 3: 50. So you're like, I don't want any to slip.
- 9:43Speaker 3: I mean, it's the glassware.
- 9:45Speaker 2: I haven't noticed. I mean, I don't go out much,
- 9:47Speaker 2: but yeah.
- 9:48Speaker 3: I don't know. But anyway.
- 9:50Speaker 2: I'll keep an eye on it.
- 9:50Speaker 3: Good times, good food. Okay.
- 9:52Speaker 5: So, but yes, San Francisco, where we were, financial district
- 9:56Speaker 5: walking around down to the water, pretty clean.
- 9:59Speaker 2: I agree.
- 10:00Speaker 3: Too.
- 10:00Speaker 2: I was just there and I said it on my,
- 10:02Speaker 2: I went on Instagram and said it. I'm like, I
- 10:03Speaker 2: don't know. I've heard horror stories, but it seems pretty nice.
- 10:06Speaker 2: Now listen, like every big city, I'm sure there's corners
- 10:09Speaker 2: you go down.
- 10:09Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 10:09Speaker 5: There's a scary part, but at least I'm just saying,
- 10:12Speaker 5: you know, you watch these things and it's like, no.
- 10:15Speaker 3: So I'm excited. Of course.
- 10:17Speaker 5: I will be in Las Vegas November 14th and going
- 10:22Speaker 5: to have so much fun. It's going to be BravaCon
- 10:24Speaker 5: weekend that Friday night.
- 10:25Speaker 3: Get your tickets at HeatherMixell.net.
- 10:26Speaker 2: There's a lot of billboards for it. I was in
- 10:29Speaker 2: where you're going to be, the MGM. And there's just
- 10:32Speaker 2: billboards everywhere.
- 10:33Speaker 5: That's why I'm coming in Thursday because sometimes, you know,
- 10:35Speaker 5: when you go to a show and you get.
- 10:38Speaker 3: To the city.
- 10:39Speaker 5: And they've already removed your billboard because the next day
- 10:42Speaker 5: there's somebody else.
- 10:43Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 10:44Speaker 5: So I want to get there at least one day
- 10:45Speaker 5: before my show just so I can walk. I always
- 10:49Speaker 5: used to say if I had a billboard for a month,
- 10:51Speaker 5: I'd just go have Chinese chicken salad next to it
- 10:53Speaker 5: every day. I just need to soak in all the
- 10:55Speaker 5: moments because I'm always like this could be my last.
- 10:57Speaker 3: This could be my last.
- 10:58Speaker 2: There's nothing sadder than leaving a comedy club and they're
- 11:01Speaker 2: taking your name down like they have the guy out there.
- 11:03Speaker 2: It's like midnight and he's already pulling your name down
- 11:05Speaker 2: and putting up. Bruce Bruce or somebody.
- 11:07Speaker 5: But I'm saying I've gone and my name's already been
- 11:09Speaker 5: gone because they're like, oh, the show's sold out or
- 11:12Speaker 5: it's eight o'clock.
- 11:13Speaker 3: We don't need to promote you anymore. We want to
- 11:15Speaker 3: promote Joe Schmo in two days. And I'm like, well,
- 11:17Speaker 3: I would have liked to have taken a photo in
- 11:19Speaker 3: front of my thing like Luann de Lesseps does.
- 11:23Speaker 2: I went one time and my name was Frank Frangiola
- 11:27Speaker 2: on the marquee. So I said, well, my name is,
- 11:29Speaker 2: I'm not Frank Frangiola. I said, oh, we're sorry. I said,
- 11:32Speaker 2: I'm Chris. So then I went back out and they
- 11:34Speaker 2: changed Frank to Chiss, C-H-I-S. And I was like, I said, Chris.
- 11:40Speaker 2: He goes, you didn't say Chiss? I'm like, did you
- 11:42Speaker 2: really think my name was Chiss? I never even heard
- 11:45Speaker 2: that name. Anyway, they finally got it worked out.
- 11:47Speaker 3: As a stand-up comic, like there are so many times
- 11:50Speaker 3: I literally get to the place I'm like, way to
- 11:53Speaker 3: make me feel, any way to make me feel less special.
- 11:56Speaker 3: Less special, less important, less everything.
- 12:00Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 12:01Speaker 2: It's bad enough you just got to mention the name
- 12:03Speaker 2: of the places, you know? Like, it's not Funny Bone
- 12:05Speaker 2: and all the chuckles. And then your name's misspelled. It's like,
- 12:10Speaker 2: you can't, just the humbling, it just never ends.
- 12:13Speaker 3: Yes, I've definitely had Heather MacDonald many times. Yes.
- 12:17Speaker 5: Okay, Kristen Bell, this came out, we talked about it
- 12:21Speaker 5: a couple days ago.
- 12:22Speaker 3: She tried to be funny.
- 12:24Speaker 4: Right.
- 12:25Speaker 5: And did a post about her husband... Being married for
- 12:28Speaker 5: 12 years and, you know, to the man that said
- 12:31Speaker 5: he wanted to always kill me, but he didn't.
- 12:33Speaker 3: Whatever.
- 12:33Speaker 5: Some dumb joke like that. And everyone's like really went
- 12:37Speaker 5: after her on social media. So I thought it was
- 12:40Speaker 5: interesting that she like didn't remove it.
- 12:43Speaker 2: She didn't remove it.
- 12:44Speaker 5: But she did do the comments, limit the comments. And
- 12:49Speaker 5: then today, according to Us Weekly, is the reason they
- 12:53Speaker 5: believe that she skipped out on the Today Show. She
- 12:56Speaker 5: was supposed to be on the Today Show. promoting her new,
- 12:59Speaker 5: you know, her TV show, which nobody wants this.
- 13:01Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 13:02Speaker 3: And she just didn't come.
- 13:04Speaker 5: And it's like, I just want to tell people this
- 13:10Speaker 5: stuff goes by so quickly.
- 13:13Speaker 2: Oh, I mean, it's like, just take down.
- 13:15Speaker 3: The, just take down the post.
- 13:16Speaker 2: Right. And nobody remembers.
- 13:19Speaker 3: And if they want to, and then if they go
- 13:20Speaker 3: on the today show, go. Yeah. Sometimes, sometimes things don't land. Right.
- 13:25Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 13:25Speaker 3: I'm really sorry. Just trying to be funny.
- 13:28Speaker 2: Right.
- 13:28Speaker 3: Wasn't funny. End of story.
- 13:30Speaker 2: That's it.
- 13:31Speaker 5: Maybe we'll find out, no, her kid was sick and blah, blah, blah.
- 13:34Speaker 5: They'll give out some other excuse. But this to me
- 13:36Speaker 5: is just like prolonging a joke that just flopped.
- 13:39Speaker 2: Yeah. The funny thing I found out about it or
- 13:43Speaker 2: there was like, she did like four jokes in a
- 13:46Speaker 2: row that had like a domestic violence spin to them.
- 13:51Speaker 2: And I thought there was several times where you could
- 13:53Speaker 2: have stopped and went like, I don't know, this one feels...
- 13:56Speaker 2: I don't know. I, one line I got, but there
- 13:59Speaker 2: was four lines of like, and you know, some people
- 14:02Speaker 2: kill their wives.
- 14:03Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 14:03Speaker 2: And I was like, I don't know. I feel like
- 14:05Speaker 2: it was a little too much.
- 14:07Speaker 3: You know, really, it really is.
- 14:09Speaker 5: And it really, you know, we all can make fun
- 14:11Speaker 5: of like the way I kind of make date fun
- 14:13Speaker 5: of Dateline is more making it about me that like,
- 14:18Speaker 5: if I went missing, it would be nice for someone
- 14:21Speaker 5: to finally like get my videos all together and put
- 14:23Speaker 5: it together. Like I'd like to live, like if I
- 14:25Speaker 5: just went missing and then they, put it all together
- 14:28Speaker 5: in a beautiful montage of when I was young and
- 14:31Speaker 5: did the reel that I've been wanting to do that
- 14:34Speaker 5: I'm too lazy to do.
- 14:35Speaker 3: Like, not.
- 14:36Speaker 2: It would be good if you got murdered just to
- 14:39Speaker 2: get a good editor on.
- 14:40Speaker 3: Yes, just to get a real good producer and editor
- 14:43Speaker 3: on it that isn't going to be annoyed. Yeah, no, but.
- 14:48Speaker 5: So it's like, we've all made jokes about it, but yeah,
- 14:51Speaker 5: sometimes it just, you have to think about why can
- 14:54Speaker 5: this kind of edgy thing be funny? And it's not
- 14:57Speaker 5: going to make you think about a husband actually killing
- 15:01Speaker 5: his wife when so many have. So like, yeah, but
- 15:05Speaker 5: I feel- Yeah, some dose of land.
- 15:07Speaker 3: Like, that's life.
- 15:08Speaker 2: But also, I think everybody these days loves a pile-on.
- 15:12Speaker 3: Yes.
- 15:12Speaker 2: You know? So once they start seeing blood in the water,
- 15:16Speaker 2: I'm guilty of it myself. You know, I don't care
- 15:19Speaker 2: about Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard, but now I'm like, ah,
- 15:21Speaker 2: how dare they? What do I care? But yeah, so
- 15:24Speaker 2: I feel like one, now, now, now you start reading
- 15:27Speaker 2: about it. Now everybody's involved, you know.
- 15:29Speaker 5: There definitely has come a time in the last few
- 15:31Speaker 5: years where like, I would say something that then someone
- 15:34Speaker 5: would write, or I'd see that they picked apart something
- 15:37Speaker 5: I said on here that could be interpreted as insensitive
- 15:41Speaker 5: or incorrect or wrong.
- 15:43Speaker 3: And then you do just get to a point where
- 15:45Speaker 3: I'm just like, whatever.
- 15:46Speaker 2: I know.
- 15:47Speaker 3: Like, I mean, I'm sorry.
- 15:48Speaker 5: Like this is, again, I said over and again, this
- 15:51Speaker 5: is comedic conversation with, This is, no, I don't have a,
- 15:55Speaker 5: do your research.
- 15:56Speaker 3: No, I don't.
- 15:57Speaker 1: I don't.
- 15:57Speaker 3: I read the articles as best as I can. I
- 16:00Speaker 3: don't remember people's names. This is not, you're not watching
- 16:05Speaker 3: a news report. This is not ABC Tonight. Like, just whatever.
- 16:09Speaker 3: If I get it wrong, that's fine. Put in the comments,
- 16:12Speaker 3: you were wrong. You said it was Bella Hadid when
- 16:14Speaker 3: it was Gigi Hadid. You're right. I was wrong.
- 16:17Speaker 5: Sometimes I listen back to it. I'm like, oh, Heather,
- 16:20Speaker 5: you said Vanessa Williams instead of Venus Williams. Because I'm
- 16:23Speaker 5: fucking going off the top of my head.
- 16:24Speaker 3: I do four shows a week. Leave me the fuck alone.
- 16:27Speaker 3: But it's okay. But do correct me. And then I'm like, oh, thanks.
- 16:30Speaker 2: That's fine. I never felt the need to correct anybody online.
- 16:34Speaker 2: I don't think. I don't think I've ever gone. Excuse me.
- 16:36Speaker 2: It was Bella Hadid.
- 16:38Speaker 1: GG.
- 16:41Speaker 2: I don't know. I'd like to think that I have
- 16:43Speaker 2: more going on. You know, I'm too busy.
- 16:45Speaker 3: I don't even care. But it's good to finally just
- 16:48Speaker 3: get to a place where I used to be like, oh,
- 16:50Speaker 3: my God, let me do a correction. And then I
- 16:52Speaker 3: was like, no, corrections are lame because the correction four
- 16:55Speaker 3: days later, like we've already moved on. So just, you know,
- 16:59Speaker 3: get over yourselves.
- 17:00Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 17:03Speaker 6: They think you're done for the day, but they don't
- 17:05Speaker 6: know about the drawer. The drawer. Just the one square
- 17:11Speaker 6: before bed.
- 17:13Speaker 3: Or two, you know. Nobody's watching. You deserve a treat.
- 17:22Speaker 6: With eight flavours to choose from, you can choose the
- 17:24Speaker 6: flavour you favour with Cadbury Dairy Milk.
- 17:33Speaker 4: I'm Darman, and this is What Happens Next. Each week
- 17:36Speaker 4: on the show, I sit down with extraordinary people who
- 17:39Speaker 4: have faced tremendous setbacks, and yet somehow have found a
- 17:44Speaker 4: way to turn them into their greatest strengths.
- 17:46Speaker 2: Life is one long lesson of chaos.
- 17:49Speaker 3: I'm heading to the Emmys, and I have police complaints
- 17:52Speaker 3: filed against me.
- 17:53Speaker 2: When your free will was about to be taken from you,
- 17:55Speaker 2: what would you do if it was given back?
- 17:58Speaker 4: Where did that need come from, where you thought that
- 18:00Speaker 4: you had to succeed in order to feel loved?
- 18:03Speaker 2: He said, I have a work dad. I need a
- 18:04Speaker 2: home dad. What happens next? When I came in, he
- 18:07Speaker 2: started crying.
- 18:08Speaker 4: Everybody in life encounters hardships. What defines them is not
- 18:12Speaker 4: those hard moments that they go through. It's about what
- 18:15Speaker 4: happens next.
- 18:16Speaker 3: I decided to risk it all.
- 18:17Speaker 2: I realized how valuable every day was.
- 18:19Speaker 3: You're worth the work.
- 18:20Speaker 2: Listen, Dara, I'm not going to pull punches.
- 18:23Speaker 3: You can use your voice even if it shakes.
- 18:25Speaker 4: The stories are different, but the impact is the same.
- 18:28Speaker 4: Only one question matters. What happens next?
- 18:39Speaker 5: But here is a correction. This is this young mom.
- 18:43Speaker 5: We talked about it the other day. She was pregnant
- 18:48Speaker 5: with a boyfriend. She didn't want him in the delivery room.
- 18:51Speaker 5: She picked a fight with him. Then she did bring
- 18:54Speaker 5: the baby around. And, you know, she said it was
- 18:58Speaker 5: born early. She was born early. So she's smaller and she's,
- 19:02Speaker 5: you know, getting little NICU situations. So people are like, oh,
- 19:05Speaker 5: my God, how is she? And then they went to
- 19:07Speaker 5: the– Anyway, it was a fake pregnancy and it was
- 19:11Speaker 5: a fake baby doll.
- 19:12Speaker 2: The whole thing was fake.
- 19:13Speaker 3: The whole thing was fake.
- 19:14Speaker 2: Did the boyfriend know it was fake the whole time?
- 19:16Speaker 5: No, she even told him the baby died. So then
- 19:18Speaker 5: he was mourning a fake pregnancy. Wow.
- 19:22Speaker 3: And a fake baby doll. It was a baby doll.
- 19:25Speaker 5: And she has come out and admitted, yes, that she
- 19:27Speaker 5: bought one of those expensive dolls and that she was sorry,
- 19:31Speaker 5: you know?
- 19:32Speaker 2: Okay.
- 19:33Speaker 3: But I mean. Yeah. Yeah. Matt, you're trying to get
- 19:36Speaker 3: like DNA testing on a doll. And they're like, it's rubber.
- 19:40Speaker 3: You're like, can you just take this tooth, this Q-tip
- 19:43Speaker 3: and just make sure that this baby hasn't moved any time?
- 19:47Speaker 3: And they said, oh, it was cold or something. So
- 19:50Speaker 3: I'm like, oh, she's so cold. And she's like, she
- 19:51Speaker 3: has a cold. I'm like, usually when you have.
- 19:54Speaker 2: A cold, you aren't physically cold. We found a target
- 19:55Speaker 2: price tag on your child's foot, and we're concerned. Oh, man.
- 20:02Speaker 3: Oh, my God. So that was a little update. Okay,
- 20:04Speaker 3: Jen Aniston went on Dax Shepard's show before– Before his
- 20:09Speaker 3: wife was typing away something hilarious.
- 20:12Speaker 2: I know. It's the other thing. Like, they seem like
- 20:14Speaker 2: a couple that just, everybody, take them down a notch.
- 20:18Speaker 3: It's Blake Lively. Right. And Ryan Reynolds.
- 20:21Speaker 4: 100%.
- 20:21Speaker 5: That really want to be stand-ups and really think they're funny.
- 20:25Speaker 5: And they love funny people. But they're just not that funny.
- 20:28Speaker 5: I guess I won't be asked to be on Dexter's
- 20:31Speaker 5: show anytime soon.
- 20:32Speaker 2: Here's what it becomes, I believe. You're surrounded by yes people.
- 20:36Speaker 2: You know what I mean? Yeah. Kristen Bell. And so
- 20:39Speaker 2: the assistant goes, that's so funny. Oh, my God.
- 20:43Speaker 3: You always kill me. You guys are the cutest people.
- 20:45Speaker 2: Right.
- 20:46Speaker 3: But we're not a perfect couple. Right. That's what we're saying.
- 20:49Speaker 3: We're stars. Just like, yeah.
- 20:50Speaker 2: We've all been yes people at one time or another
- 20:52Speaker 2: in our lives. Oh, yeah.
- 20:53Speaker 3: For seven and a half years.
- 20:55Speaker 2: We've had to do it a lot. And, you know,
- 20:59Speaker 2: it's one of those things where you're just like, And
- 21:00Speaker 2: then so they're like, oh, okay, I'll put it on there.
- 21:03Speaker 2: My friends thought it was funny, but they paid to
- 21:05Speaker 2: tell you that.
- 21:06Speaker 5: Speaking of which, there were times that I wasn't the
- 21:07Speaker 5: yes person. And I'd be like, and then I realized, yeah,
- 21:13Speaker 5: maybe that isn't great. You think that the person wants
- 21:17Speaker 5: the truth and you think you can go, well, you know,
- 21:20Speaker 5: I don't know that David Letterman would be doing that.
- 21:24Speaker 5: I don't know why you'd be doing it, whatever. And
- 21:25Speaker 5: then it'd be like, So yeah, sometimes you just don't.
- 21:28Speaker 5: But speaking of Jennifer Aniston.
- 21:30Speaker 2: Okay.
- 21:30Speaker 5: So she was on the show and of course she's,
- 21:34Speaker 5: you know, promoting the morning show and she's great.
- 21:36Speaker 3: And she said, I was offered SNL. Yeah.
- 21:41Speaker 5: Lauren offered it to me before friends. And it just
- 21:44Speaker 5: felt like, Oh, I don't know. I can't really remember
- 21:48Speaker 5: with this brain of mine, but it was like, I
- 21:50Speaker 5: don't know if I like the way the women are
- 21:51Speaker 5: treated on that show.
- 21:53Speaker 3: So I turned it down.
- 21:54Speaker 2: Okay.
- 21:55Speaker 3: And I was like, Okay, at that time, okay, now
- 22:00Speaker 3: I'm not saying- So.
- 22:01Speaker 2: What era is this?
- 22:02Speaker 3: Is she saying before Friends?
- 22:04Speaker 5: So Friends began in like 1996. Is this Molly Shannon?
- 22:08Speaker 5: So this would have been like 94, 95, I'm guessing.
- 22:10Speaker 2: So all the women on there at that time. The
- 22:12Speaker 2: women were- Anna Gasteyer, maybe Molly Shannon.
- 22:16Speaker 3: Anna Gasteyer.
- 22:17Speaker 2: Sherry O'Terry.
- 22:18Speaker 3: Yeah, Sherry O'Terry. So a lot of like, I was
- 22:21Speaker 3: at Growlings at that time.
- 22:22Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 22:23Speaker 5: And a lot of Growlings people were getting chosen- And
- 22:25Speaker 5: the way they chose people back then were definitely Second City, stand-ups,
- 22:32Speaker 5: and the Groundlings.
- 22:33Speaker 2: And a lot of characters.
- 22:35Speaker 3: You had to have characters and impressions.
- 22:37Speaker 2: Right.
- 22:38Speaker 5: So I was supposed to audition for it, and I
- 22:40Speaker 5: had my whole thing set up, and then my MTV
- 22:43Speaker 5: thing got picked up and they wouldn't see me.
- 22:45Speaker 2: Right.
- 22:45Speaker 5: But it was like three original characters and at least
- 22:49Speaker 5: three celebrity impressions.
- 22:51Speaker 3: Yeah. So you'd write it, do it.
- 22:53Speaker 5: And it would usually be your best stuff that you'd
- 22:55Speaker 5: done on stage and whatever. And there would be times
- 22:58Speaker 5: where Lorne Michaels would come and sit in the audience.
- 23:01Speaker 5: And they could only feature 17 bits. And it was
- 23:05Speaker 5: like warfare. It was like whoever was sleeping with the
- 23:08Speaker 5: director at the time would get more bits on because
- 23:11Speaker 5: Lorne was in there. And then the one person that's like, no,
- 23:13Speaker 5: it was my agent that invited Lorne. And now I
- 23:16Speaker 5: only have two bits to show him. I mean– So
- 23:18Speaker 5: when people like, you mean the actual audition process?
- 23:21Speaker 3: The audition? No, this was just to, he'd come to
- 23:23Speaker 3: a show.
- 23:24Speaker 2: Oh, like a, like an actual live.
- 23:25Speaker 4: Yes.
- 23:26Speaker 2: Oh, you mean a grounding show?
- 23:27Speaker 5: And if I'm, if it wasn't Lauren, it was like
- 23:30Speaker 5: the top casting person to see who are these like hot.
- 23:34Speaker 3: Up and comers in the group. And like, yeah.
- 23:37Speaker 5: And like Ana was seen there and like Sherry was
- 23:40Speaker 5: seen and Will Ferrell, like they were all seen there.
- 23:43Speaker 5: And so I'm just kind of like, I, I just,
- 23:47Speaker 5: now it doesn't mean that it didn't happen because she's
- 23:49Speaker 5: cute and she is truly a very good comedic actress.
- 23:53Speaker 5: But I just was like, wow, that's really, that's not.
- 23:57Speaker 5: And even when they weren't doing that, it was like
- 23:59Speaker 5: Janine Garofalo. Like they were picking like names. If they weren't,
- 24:03Speaker 5: they were named either named standups or they were like, yeah.
- 24:06Speaker 5: So anyway, I thought that was interesting. And, and that
- 24:09Speaker 5: her reason was just that she didn't think that it
- 24:11Speaker 5: was like a good place for like women to be.
- 24:13Speaker 5: That was a misogynistic place, which it probably was.
- 24:16Speaker 3: But, Yeah. So then that was the one thing she said.
- 24:19Speaker 5: And, um, and then I also thought the next thing
- 24:22Speaker 5: I just saw a clip of is she, you know,
- 24:24Speaker 5: they talked about her having kids and then it never happened.
- 24:27Speaker 5: I remember there was, she even made jokes about being
- 24:30Speaker 5: pregnant with triplets and all this other stuff because every
- 24:33Speaker 5: week would, because that would sell the magazines when they
- 24:35Speaker 5: were selling magazines. And so the story just, I just
- 24:40Speaker 5: remembered this story.
- 24:40Speaker 3: Okay. So Chelsea has become really good friends with Jen
- 24:45Speaker 3: at this time.
- 24:46Speaker 4: Yes.
- 24:46Speaker 3: Which is quite the coup.
- 24:47Speaker 2: I remember the year.
- 24:48Speaker 3: Yes, quite the coup.
- 24:51Speaker 5: And I think she was around either doing the show
- 24:54Speaker 5: or she was going to make an appearance on After lately.
- 24:56Speaker 5: So she was kind of around and very nice to
- 24:59Speaker 5: all of us, by the way.
- 24:59Speaker 2: She was very sweet.
- 25:01Speaker 3: And I went.
- 25:04Speaker 5: To like some red carpet thing at the Four Seasons
- 25:09Speaker 5: where pre-Oscars, whatever.
- 25:12Speaker 2: Okay.
- 25:13Speaker 3: And I do the red carpet thing.
- 25:15Speaker 5: But then like someone that I didn't, not on the
- 25:18Speaker 5: red carpet, but somebody that like worked for like some,
- 25:21Speaker 5: okay or whatever.
- 25:22Speaker 4: Right.
- 25:22Speaker 3: Is like, oh, do you think Jenna Aniston is pregnant?
- 25:26Speaker 2: You know?
- 25:26Speaker 5: Because at the time she was with Justin Theroux and
- 25:30Speaker 5: still of an age you could be pregnant, you know?
- 25:35Speaker 3: And I was like, no. I'm like, no. I'm like, no.
- 25:40Speaker 5: Sometimes I think maybe she was just like a little
- 25:41Speaker 5: bloated or whatever. I think I said something like, I
- 25:46Speaker 5: don't know that she is or not, but I will
- 25:48Speaker 5: say like, yeah, it looked like she could have like
- 25:51Speaker 5: a little pooch or something like that.
- 25:54Speaker 3: Okay. But I would not sit on the red carpet.
- 25:57Speaker 5: And then I get this email sent to me like
- 26:02Speaker 5: the next day or something that Chelsea sent to me.
- 26:07Speaker 5: That was that Jen Aniston allegedly had sent to Chelsea.
- 26:12Speaker 2: That, OK, well, that must have been a joke.
- 26:14Speaker 3: I totally think it was a joke. But at the time,
- 26:16Speaker 3: I felt so badly.
- 26:19Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 26:20Speaker 3: And it was like, hey, Chels, like, don't really appreciate, you.
- 26:25Speaker 5: Know, your staff people talking about my pregnancies when I'm
- 26:29Speaker 5: not pregnant.
- 26:30Speaker 3: And like, this is really uncool. And like what? Something
- 26:33Speaker 3: like that. And I know now it was probably Chelsea
- 26:37Speaker 3: and Tom.
- 26:38Speaker 2: Yeah, that's definitely. Fucking with me. That's got Tom written
- 26:40Speaker 2: all over it.
- 26:40Speaker 3: Because it did get written somewhere.
- 26:42Speaker 5: The girl I was talking to was like some cheesy reporter,
- 26:45Speaker 5: like life and style or whatever.
- 26:46Speaker 3: And I didn't realize that.
- 26:48Speaker 5: And they're like, you got to really watch what you
- 26:50Speaker 5: say when you go to these things. And I'm sure
- 26:51Speaker 5: they were walking around like, oh, Heather thinks she's all
- 26:53Speaker 5: that because she got invited to one like gift bagging suite,
- 26:56Speaker 5: you know, like, and.
- 26:57Speaker 3: I was like, oh my God, I'm like.
- 26:59Speaker 5: How can I apologize to her? Like, is there any
- 27:01Speaker 5: way like I, Oh my God, you're right. Like, this
- 27:04Speaker 5: is totally inappropriate that I said this.
- 27:06Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 27:06Speaker 3: And, um, but now of course, not now, but even.
- 27:09Speaker 5: Like 10 years ago, I realized, Oh, that was probably
- 27:12Speaker 5: all like fucking with me just to be awful.
- 27:15Speaker 3: And give me anxiety.
- 27:16Speaker 2: I think so.
- 27:17Speaker 4: Yeah. Yeah.
- 27:17Speaker 5: It sounds like, but anyway, she did say, she goes,
- 27:19Speaker 5: finally it comes to a place where, you know, you
- 27:23Speaker 5: realize like it's not going to happen when you're going
- 27:25Speaker 5: to be a mom.
- 27:25Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 27:26Speaker 5: And then Dax is like, Yeah, I can imagine there's sadness,
- 27:30Speaker 5: but then there's probably like acceptance and then even some relief.
- 27:34Speaker 5: And I'm like, yeah, I think a lot of childless
- 27:36Speaker 5: people today are walking around with money in their pockets
- 27:42Speaker 5: and peaceful horizons.
- 27:44Speaker 2: Yeah. Well, as a guy who had a child late
- 27:48Speaker 2: in life, congratulations to all of you who are childless.
- 27:53Speaker 2: You didn't have to walk around Target yesterday. Because to
- 27:58Speaker 2: find orange clothes, because today's like at school.
- 28:01Speaker 4: Oh, yeah.
- 28:01Speaker 2: Today was like no bullying day or something. No bullying.
- 28:05Speaker 3: What is bullying day?
- 28:06Speaker 2: Listen, that's what I told my daughter. My daughter was like,
- 28:08Speaker 2: so today is no bullying day? I said, yeah, tomorrow
- 28:10Speaker 2: I can go back to bullying. But today, wear your
- 28:13Speaker 2: orange and don't. So I had to go find orange yesterday,
- 28:17Speaker 2: but not Halloween orange, just orange, which is hard to find.
- 28:21Speaker 2: So I found a pen and a pair of shorts
- 28:24Speaker 2: in the sales rack over at Target that were from
- 28:27Speaker 2: the summer.
- 28:28Speaker 4: Okay.
- 28:28Speaker 2: And they were like nine sizes too big. But they
- 28:31Speaker 2: were orange, and she wore them. Okay. She looked like
- 28:34Speaker 2: a complete psychopath. And anyway, so she walked around in
- 28:37Speaker 2: her giant orange shorts today over at school. Wow. That's
- 28:42Speaker 2: what I have to do.
- 28:43Speaker 3: Yeah. I did all the things.
- 28:45Speaker 2: I know you did. Yeah.
- 28:47Speaker 5: And it doesn't– It does get better because last night
- 28:52Speaker 5: was Mackenzie's birthday.
- 28:53Speaker 2: Oh, okay.
- 28:54Speaker 3: And she has a lovely boyfriend.
- 28:57Speaker 2: I met the guy. He's a nice guy.
- 28:59Speaker 7: Great.
- 28:59Speaker 3: And then we met the parents. We had a lovely
- 29:02Speaker 3: dinner all together.
- 29:03Speaker 2: Oh, no. How did that go?
- 29:04Speaker 3: Fabulous.
- 29:05Speaker 2: Oh, they were nice people? They could talk?
- 29:07Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 29:07Speaker 3: Sometimes, yeah.
- 29:08Speaker 7: No, no.
- 29:08Speaker 3: I knew they'd be great because he's great. Like, no,
- 29:11Speaker 3: it's great. Yeah. I mean, it really is. People know
- 29:14Speaker 3: the story of what it was like, my life earlier.
- 29:17Speaker 3: Go to Patreon.
- 29:18Speaker 5: This is some sweet, sweet cherry on the top of like, oh,
- 29:23Speaker 5: my God, don't ever give up. Don't ever give up.
- 29:26Speaker 5: Don't ever give up because then.
- 29:28Speaker 2: It's better.
- 29:28Speaker 3: It could get better.
- 29:29Speaker 2: Good. But before it.
- 29:32Speaker 3: Gets better, it's going to be like this. It's going
- 29:34Speaker 3: to be like this.
- 29:34Speaker 6: Right.
- 29:35Speaker 3: And there's going to be times where I'm just like
- 29:37Speaker 3: calling my sister and I'm like, I want this job
- 29:39Speaker 3: to end.
- 29:40Speaker 2: When will it end? Which job? Chelsea Lately?
- 29:45Speaker 3: Mom. Oh, mom.
- 29:46Speaker 6: Oh.
- 29:47Speaker 3: I want that too.
- 29:49Speaker 2: Just email me. She's mad at me. I remember when
- 29:55Speaker 2: she first walked into After Lately.
- 29:57Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 29:57Speaker 2: We used to do, like, a weird thing, and I
- 29:59Speaker 2: feel like it made no sense, really. But if somebody
- 30:01Speaker 2: said yes to being on the show, and we got
- 30:03Speaker 2: some big people to say yes to being on the show,
- 30:05Speaker 2: but we didn't really write them, like, a quality part.
- 30:08Speaker 2: Some of them we just had for a couple hours.
- 30:09Speaker 6: Right.
- 30:10Speaker 2: So we couldn't really write them, like, a... So they
- 30:11Speaker 2: would just, like, walk into the writer's room, which made
- 30:14Speaker 2: no sense. Like, oh, hi.
- 30:16Speaker 1: Oh, hi.
- 30:17Speaker 3: Yeah, and my role was always to be, like, completely
- 30:20Speaker 3: star fucker.
- 30:20Speaker 2: Right, right.
- 30:21Speaker 5: Like, on the poster, it says star fucker. Starfucker, or
- 30:25Speaker 5: like Fame Chaser or something.
- 30:27Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 30:27Speaker 3: We had our faces on this poster.
- 30:29Speaker 2: That was like some half-assed e-promotional thing where they didn't
- 30:33Speaker 2: even try.
- 30:34Speaker 3: Yeah, and it was like, here's the cast I've acted lately.
- 30:36Speaker 3: And just for people who are like, what are they
- 30:37Speaker 3: talking about?
- 30:38Speaker 5: We had three seasons of this show that was basically
- 30:41Speaker 5: like Curb Your Enthusiasm or Meets the Office.
- 30:44Speaker 2: Like a Larry Sanders kind of, yeah, yeah.
- 30:46Speaker 3: Yeah, type of show about making of the show. Right.
- 30:48Speaker 3: And really, it is funny.
- 30:50Speaker 2: It is.
- 30:51Speaker 3: It is funny. I don't know where to find it,
- 30:52Speaker 3: but it is funny, and I would love to re-watch it.
- 30:54Speaker 2: It's got some good episodes.
- 30:57Speaker 3: But anyway, so yeah, it was always just like, you know, whatever. Yeah.
- 31:02Speaker 2: I just remember Jennifer Aniston just walking in and going, oh, hi.
- 31:06Speaker 2: And we were like, oh, hi. And then it was
- 31:07Speaker 2: like a weird, there's no reason why anybody would walk
- 31:11Speaker 2: into the, and it's just, are we going to aerobics
- 31:14Speaker 2: or something? And they just walked out. Yeah, yeah. It
- 31:16Speaker 2: was just a show that I'm friends with Jennifer Aniston.
- 31:19Speaker 5: And then I remember one time, Chelsea's like, all right,
- 31:22Speaker 5: you know what? I'm done asking my fucking friends to
- 31:25Speaker 5: be on this show.
- 31:25Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 31:26Speaker 5: You guys need to find famous people, too. And I'm like,
- 31:28Speaker 5: famous people? I'm like, well, I only know the Kardashians,
- 31:32Speaker 5: and they've already made their appearances. So, like, I don't
- 31:34Speaker 5: know how else I'm supposed to get famous. Because E
- 31:36Speaker 5: was like, we're only doing this show if you have, like,
- 31:38Speaker 5: famous guest stars.
- 31:39Speaker 2: I know.
- 31:40Speaker 3: Because we're not even watching it ourselves.
- 31:43Speaker 2: I have a friend who's an electrician. Can he be
- 31:44Speaker 2: on it? I don't know anybody famous. Oh, my God.
- 31:48Speaker 2: That's funny.
- 31:49Speaker 3: Oh, my God. Anyway, speaking of famous, this is interesting.
- 31:53Speaker 5: So the late, beautiful Suzanne Somers, she and her husband
- 31:56Speaker 5: were married forever and built a dynasty. Of course, she
- 31:59Speaker 5: was on Three's Company and did all these other things.
- 32:02Speaker 5: And she sadly died of cancer a couple years ago. Well,
- 32:06Speaker 5: he has gotten into a new venture. He's 89. And
- 32:10Speaker 5: he said, there is an AI, Suzanne Somers, Like doll,
- 32:17Speaker 5: life-size doll.
- 32:19Speaker 2: A clone.
- 32:19Speaker 3: A clone.
- 32:20Speaker 5: And he goes, I can't tell the difference. But the
- 32:22Speaker 5: girl doesn't look like her at all.
- 32:24Speaker 2: Could have been her daughter. Is that the clone? That's
- 32:26Speaker 2: the clone. This picture looks like a rubber doll. Yeah,
- 32:29Speaker 2: it looks like a rubber doll. I mean, I've seen
- 32:31Speaker 2: these rubber sex dolls before.
- 32:33Speaker 3: But of course, as AI, by giving....
- 32:37Speaker 5: The AI person, all of her books, all of her interviews,
- 32:41Speaker 5: you could ask it anything and they can answer as Suzanne,
- 32:44Speaker 5: which they could do now with all of us, especially
- 32:46Speaker 5: with podcasting and everything else.
- 32:49Speaker 3: And so, yeah.
- 32:52Speaker 2: But wait a minute. No, I mean, not to get
- 32:54Speaker 2: too graphic, but does he fuck it? Like, what is
- 32:57Speaker 2: it for? To sit in his kitchen and have breakfast
- 33:01Speaker 2: with him?
- 33:01Speaker 5: I don't know if he's thinking other people might want
- 33:03Speaker 5: to have a Suzanne at Summers in their house.
- 33:05Speaker 3: I don't know how he's like making, profitable.
- 33:09Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 33:09Speaker 3: But it's, you know.
- 33:10Speaker 2: Oh, is he trying to make it profitable? I thought
- 33:12Speaker 2: it was just because he was lonely.
- 33:13Speaker 3: He said it's like a venture. He said it's like
- 33:14Speaker 3: a venture.
- 33:15Speaker 5: I think it's maybe that, maybe the venture is that
- 33:17Speaker 5: you could do this with any lost one.
- 33:19Speaker 4: Oh.
- 33:20Speaker 2: Oh, I get it.
- 33:21Speaker 3: That you could like, you know, whatever.
- 33:23Speaker 2: You could recreate them.
- 33:24Speaker 3: Yeah, and you could just go, hey, good morning. What
- 33:26Speaker 3: did you think of? And like, okay, so let's say
- 33:28Speaker 3: it's me, you know.
- 33:29Speaker 2: Oh, like a Heather doll?
- 33:31Speaker 3: A Heather doll. And I'm gone. And then like Peter
- 33:34Speaker 3: or something walks in and is like, what did you
- 33:37Speaker 3: think of the last episode of Real Housewives of OC?
- 33:40Speaker 3: And then it would know what was on OC last
- 33:42Speaker 3: night and they would know who I like, what I
- 33:45Speaker 3: think is lame. And then it would just come out
- 33:47Speaker 3: and be like.
- 33:48Speaker 2: I can't believe that they did that.
- 33:50Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 33:51Speaker 2: Like, yeah.
- 33:51Speaker 5: And it would like say, you know, or, but maybe
- 33:54Speaker 5: it means like slightly more specific, like to what would
- 33:57Speaker 5: irritate me or what I'd be like, a fake storyline,
- 34:00Speaker 5: alcoholic bitch.
- 34:01Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 34:02Speaker 2: But I'm going to bring it up again. I mean,
- 34:04Speaker 2: there's only one reason why you would have one of these.
- 34:06Speaker 2: It's not to talk about real housewives. It's to fuck it.
- 34:09Speaker 2: That's the bottom line. Or do something sexual with it, right?
- 34:13Speaker 2: I mean, look at it. He didn't make that to talk,
- 34:17Speaker 2: you know, three's company with.
- 34:19Speaker 3: I don't know. Drake and Peter are always talking about
- 34:22Speaker 3: AI-ing me. And I'm like, no. Like, no, I'm not
- 34:26Speaker 3: having this.
- 34:27Speaker 2: Like murdering you and then AI-ing you?
- 34:29Speaker 3: Or just like they're like, if you become incapacitated, you
- 34:33Speaker 3: could still be doing Juicy Scoop.
- 34:34Speaker 2: Oh, yeah. I think the voice is easy to think that.
- 34:39Speaker 3: And I'm like, well, that doesn't really make me feel good.
- 34:42Speaker 3: But I don't have to do anything.
- 34:44Speaker 5: So anyway, really, this is what I think is going
- 34:47Speaker 5: to happen in the future prediction.
- 34:49Speaker 2: All right.
- 34:51Speaker 5: Because now there's so much AI news, TikTok reels and
- 34:56Speaker 5: stuff where you're like, wait, is this real?
- 34:58Speaker 3: Was this real?
- 34:59Speaker 2: I mean, I could spot, I feel like I could
- 35:00Speaker 2: spot the AIs.
- 35:01Speaker 3: Right.
- 35:01Speaker 2: Because there's this new thing, the way you make these clips. Sierra?
- 35:06Speaker 1: Sora.
- 35:06Speaker 2: Sora.
- 35:07Speaker 3: Yeah, Sora. But they look so fake.
- 35:09Speaker 5: Right, but just like the self-driving cars, it gets better
- 35:13Speaker 5: and better.
- 35:13Speaker 2: Of course, yeah.
- 35:14Speaker 5: You know, and it's like people are like, oh, I'll
- 35:16Speaker 5: never do a self, like the Waymos were all different.
- 35:18Speaker 3: I'll never do a self-driving car.
- 35:20Speaker 5: I'm like- But just know there was a time when
- 35:22Speaker 5: people were like, I'll keep my horse and buggy.
- 35:25Speaker 3: I'm not getting in that tin can. You know, like.
- 35:28Speaker 5: Eventually we'll just be like, oh, yeah. Remember when people
- 35:30Speaker 5: used to like drive themselves, whatever. But I think what
- 35:33Speaker 5: will happen in this is that I think there might
- 35:35Speaker 5: be a movement in the next five years. Actually, like
- 35:40Speaker 5: away from like the TikToks and the Instagram, all that stuff,
- 35:43Speaker 5: because people will be like, well, it's not real anyway.
- 35:48Speaker 5: So I'm just going to, I'm just going to like,
- 35:50Speaker 5: I don't care what's going on. I'm going to be
- 35:51Speaker 5: more about my own community and what's going on here.
- 35:54Speaker 2: They say it's already happening. Yeah. I've heard that. I've
- 35:56Speaker 2: heard that. I've heard that people are giving up on,
- 35:59Speaker 2: on the dating apps, like the swiping. They want one-on-one connection.
- 36:03Speaker 2: Now everyone's done with the left and right of the
- 36:05Speaker 2: bumbles and all those.
- 36:06Speaker 5: I think what's really fun is I follow this guy
- 36:08Speaker 5: who's tall and he has tall meetups.
- 36:13Speaker 3: All over the country.
- 36:14Speaker 2: Okay.
- 36:15Speaker 5: And he's cute and he's like, the next tall meetup
- 36:19Speaker 5: is whatever in Austin.
- 36:21Speaker 3: And now some shorties try to get in there, those
- 36:24Speaker 3: little bitches.
- 36:24Speaker 2: What is the height cutoff?
- 36:26Speaker 3: There is no height cutoff. It's just like casual. It's like, hey,
- 36:29Speaker 3: there's a tall meetup.
- 36:30Speaker 5: And then he does videos and like, yeah, I mean,
- 36:32Speaker 5: some of the guys are like, you know, seven feet tall.
- 36:34Speaker 5: And a lot of the girls are like six, two, six, three.
- 36:37Speaker 5: And they, it's just like a bar and they meet
- 36:40Speaker 5: and they talk and whatever. And so it's like a
- 36:43Speaker 5: dating thing for people. But I think there's going to
- 36:46Speaker 5: be more stuff like that.
- 36:47Speaker 2: I would like that.
- 36:48Speaker 5: Cause it'll get the people out to be social in
- 36:52Speaker 5: a way that's like of an interest.
- 36:54Speaker 3: Like I think that's, what's going to happen more.
- 36:56Speaker 2: I hope so. I'm all for it. I need, I
- 36:58Speaker 2: need to get out more. I'm going to go to
- 37:00Speaker 2: that tall meeting.
- 37:02Speaker 3: Okay.
- 37:03Speaker 5: Um, Speaking of The Golden Bachelor, so I had my
- 37:07Speaker 5: friend Maya on a couple weeks, last week or so,
- 37:11Speaker 5: and she did not have a connection, so she was
- 37:13Speaker 5: gone the first night.
- 37:14Speaker 2: But she was on it.
- 37:14Speaker 3: Yeah, she was gone the first night.
- 37:16Speaker 5: So I've been kind of watching it, and I read
- 37:19Speaker 5: an article that it is not doing.
- 37:21Speaker 2: Well, ratings-wise. Honestly, I tried to, I didn't even know
- 37:24Speaker 2: it was on, and I'm usually pretty up on these things.
- 37:28Speaker 5: All I can think about is watching it, this gray-haired guy,
- 37:31Speaker 5: these women crying over him about how much they love,
- 37:35Speaker 5: like they're in love and they're so excited to bring
- 37:37Speaker 5: him home and they want this love and they know
- 37:39Speaker 5: if it's not him that there will be love for
- 37:41Speaker 5: them after.
- 37:41Speaker 3: I am like, I.
- 37:43Speaker 5: Need to jump on Peter and appreciate him more.
- 37:47Speaker 2: Really? Yeah.
- 37:48Speaker 5: I'm like, I literally said to him, I go, Peter,
- 37:49Speaker 5: you could totally like, if I die or become an
- 37:52Speaker 5: AI robot, like a hundred percent, you would like kill it.
- 37:56Speaker 3: That's the batch.
- 37:56Speaker 5: Like, I don't even think this guy is nothing like
- 37:59Speaker 5: he's not particularly charming. He's, a former football player, so
- 38:03Speaker 5: he's pretty cute when he's sitting, but when he walks,
- 38:05Speaker 5: he comes off quite elderly.
- 38:08Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 38:09Speaker 5: But he has a good body. But there's like nothing
- 38:12Speaker 5: funny about him or whatever.
- 38:14Speaker 3: It's just kind of like.
- 38:15Speaker 2: How old is he? Is he 75? He's 66. Oh, okay.
- 38:18Speaker 3: And I mentioned this in my last episode, but no
- 38:21Speaker 3: one's watching, no one cares, but his wife, who they
- 38:25Speaker 3: got divorced five years ago, she's already married to a woman. Oh, whoa.
- 38:29Speaker 2: Whoa.
- 38:29Speaker 3: And I don't know why they don't share that.
- 38:31Speaker 5: Because to me, that would even make him more likable
- 38:35Speaker 5: to the women. Because when someone's divorced after 25 years,
- 38:38Speaker 5: you're like, either someone was awful to you or you
- 38:41Speaker 5: were awful to them. It's rare that two people are like,
- 38:44Speaker 5: you know what, I love you a lot, but let's
- 38:46Speaker 5: find other people we love more. So either they're going
- 38:49Speaker 5: to be a little fucked up. That, to me, would
- 38:50Speaker 5: have been like, oh, well, that's like, hey, you can't
- 38:53Speaker 5: compete with that.
- 38:54Speaker 3: How great.
- 38:55Speaker 2: It's a good call.
- 38:56Speaker 3: Yeah, your wife is now happy and whatever.
- 38:59Speaker 5: But anyway, yeah, so it's– but people didn't like that
- 39:04Speaker 5: he did a podcast and said.
- 39:06Speaker 2: I don't want anyone under– over 60?
- 39:08Speaker 3: I don't want anyone over 60. Yeah. And my friend
- 39:11Speaker 3: was under 60.
- 39:12Speaker 5: And so everyone was predicting that she'd be the winner.
- 39:15Speaker 3: But, you know, no.
- 39:17Speaker 2: Did he– are there women on there over 60?
- 39:19Speaker 3: They're all over 60.
- 39:20Speaker 7: Oh.
- 39:20Speaker 3: My friend was the only one that wasn't. Okay.
- 39:22Speaker 2: Okay.
- 39:23Speaker 3: And they're all like attractive and fit and all that.
- 39:25Speaker 5: There's no, like they're very, everyone's super, and he's super attractive,
- 39:29Speaker 5: but it's just like, anyway, just kind of interesting. And
- 39:32Speaker 5: then in the bachelor world, this girl, Deanna Pappas, she
- 39:37Speaker 5: married her dude. I don't know if he was her bachelor,
- 39:40Speaker 5: but he was from the bachelor world, whether they met
- 39:42Speaker 5: afterwards or whatever.
- 39:43Speaker 2: Sure.
- 39:45Speaker 3: They're getting divorced. They have a couple kids. Oh.
- 39:47Speaker 5: And he no longer has to pay child support because
- 39:51Speaker 5: he works for Uber and he doesn't make enough.
- 39:54Speaker 2: Oh, so how's she going to get by?
- 39:58Speaker 5: The point is, people, when you find the love of
- 40:01Speaker 5: your life on a dating game, whether it's The Bachelor
- 40:05Speaker 5: or The Love is Blind or The Island Ones, The
- 40:10Speaker 5: job is them being on TV.
- 40:12Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 40:13Speaker 3: Like, they're not going back to.
- 40:15Speaker 2: They sought that out. Yeah, they sought it out. There's
- 40:17Speaker 2: a casting process.
- 40:19Speaker 3: And it is not a lasting job. No.
- 40:22Speaker 5: Like, all those Bachelor podcasts dried up. I think there's only, like,
- 40:27Speaker 5: maybe three or four left that, like, actually... But they
- 40:30Speaker 5: were giving... And they're not really on the Dancing with
- 40:32Speaker 5: the Stars like they used to.
- 40:33Speaker 3: Like, it's just... Yeah, that is not.
- 40:37Speaker 5: I've heard other interviews where people are like, yeah, like,
- 40:40Speaker 5: If they did have a regular business, it didn't help it.
- 40:42Speaker 5: They're not getting the Instagram numbers they thought they would
- 40:45Speaker 5: get from it.
- 40:45Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 40:46Speaker 3: Like, so just know that if you're going to marry them, like.
- 40:51Speaker 2: It's not going to work. I mean, as far as
- 40:52Speaker 2: they had two kids, though.
- 40:53Speaker 5: I mean, I'm just saying, it's not like you married, like,
- 40:55Speaker 5: a medical doctor that could, like, go get his license
- 40:58Speaker 5: reinstated and make $ 300, 000 a year.
- 41:00Speaker 3: Uh-huh. He might just be driving Uber, which nothing wrong
- 41:03Speaker 3: with driving Uber, but.
- 41:05Speaker 2: Well, as a guy who, I know you were on,
- 41:08Speaker 2: was it Studs?
- 41:09Speaker 3: Yes. I just reposted it. Oh, I put it on Patreon.
- 41:12Speaker 2: You found the episode?
- 41:13Speaker 3: Yes, you know, I'm going to put it on Instagram
- 41:16Speaker 3: and TikTok this weekend, yeah.
- 41:17Speaker 2: The entire episode? You found the entire episode?
- 41:19Speaker 3: Yeah, I found the entire episode. I was so weird
- 41:22Speaker 3: in it.
- 41:23Speaker 2: I was on The Dating Game. Talk about weird. So
- 41:25Speaker 2: way back.
- 41:26Speaker 3: Did you find it? Do you know where it is?
- 41:28Speaker 2: I think I could probably find it.
- 41:30Speaker 5: You can send it in a legacy box and they'll
- 41:31Speaker 5: do it for you.
- 41:32Speaker 2: Yeah. I won. I won.
- 41:34Speaker 3: Did you go out with the girl?
- 41:35Speaker 2: I went out with another girl. The girl who, no,
- 41:40Speaker 2: because she flew back to wherever she was from and
- 41:43Speaker 2: they don't pay for you to come back. All the
- 41:45Speaker 2: flights are like from L.A.
- 41:46Speaker 3: Yeah, and then we know from the serial killer, the
- 41:51Speaker 3: dating serial killer. That they were just casting actors.
- 41:54Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 41:54Speaker 3: Anybody, it was like, this is your one gig.
- 41:56Speaker 2: Go do it. That's kind of how I got it.
- 41:58Speaker 2: And the two guys on with me, one guy was
- 42:00Speaker 2: flamingly gay. Yeah. And he said that to me backstage.
- 42:04Speaker 2: He's like, I'm just doing it for my, you know, whatever,
- 42:07Speaker 2: to be on TV.
- 42:07Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 42:08Speaker 2: And so that's kind of why I won. I had
- 42:10Speaker 2: one guy was morbidly obese. The other guy was gay.
- 42:14Speaker 2: So I was.
- 42:16Speaker 3: No, she didn't know the morbidly abusive.
- 42:17Speaker 2: No, but I think it was in his voice, you know? Anyway,
- 42:20Speaker 2: so I won. And the best part of it.
- 42:22Speaker 3: I was just thinking Love is Blind just stole the
- 42:24Speaker 3: dating game.
- 42:25Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 42:26Speaker 3: And made it longer. I know.
- 42:26Speaker 2: The dating game was, I mean, they need to bring
- 42:28Speaker 2: it back. If Love is Blind is going to.
- 42:30Speaker 3: Be out there. For those that don't know, the dating
- 42:31Speaker 3: game was one girl sat. She had a host. It was,
- 42:34Speaker 3: you know, set questions.
- 42:35Speaker 5: And then behind a wall were three guys, and then
- 42:37Speaker 5: she chose the one that she liked the answers the best.
- 42:40Speaker 2: Yeah. And then I came around the corner, and she
- 42:42Speaker 2: was like, oh. And then I went to Guadalajara, Mexico.
- 42:46Speaker 2: That was my trip.
- 42:46Speaker 3: You went on it?
- 42:47Speaker 2: I went, but with another girl who I never even met.
- 42:51Speaker 2: She met me at the airport.
- 42:52Speaker 3: But they paid for it? Yeah, they paid for it. See,
- 42:56Speaker 3: we never collected the trip to Baja, Mexico, or whatever
- 43:00Speaker 3: it was.
- 43:01Speaker 2: Cabo.
- 43:03Speaker 3: We went on one date after. Ronnie Sugar and I.
- 43:06Speaker 3: Don't know where you are. What's his name?
- 43:08Speaker 2: Ronnie Sugar?
- 43:09Speaker 5: His name was Ronnie Sugar. He was 27. He had, like,
- 43:12Speaker 5: a pretty good house.
- 43:13Speaker 2: Oh, my God. That is great.
- 43:14Speaker 3: In the hills of, like, Studio City. Yeah. And I
- 43:17Speaker 3: think he lived with his brother. And they were, like.
- 43:19Speaker 5: I mean, they said they were, like, you know, real
- 43:21Speaker 5: estate investors. I don't know what they were doing.
- 43:22Speaker 3: But, like, he was suave. I called him Rico Suave. And.
- 43:28Speaker 5: But I was not a comedian at the time. I
- 43:30Speaker 5: was entering my senior year of college.
- 43:32Speaker 3: So I was 21. And they said... uh, well, what
- 43:37Speaker 3: do you do?
- 43:37Speaker 2: Whatever.
- 43:38Speaker 5: And I'm like, well, I'm going to be a senior
- 43:39Speaker 5: at USC. And they're like, well, we're not going to
- 43:42Speaker 5: say USC. We're just going to say you're a college student.
- 43:45Speaker 5: And I go, no, well then say I'm a realtor
- 43:48Speaker 5: because I was a realtor.
- 43:49Speaker 3: I have a real estate license. So then they made me, they.
- 43:52Speaker 5: Said, she's a real, a 21 year old real estate agent.
- 43:55Speaker 5: So I wear this little orange suit that was like
- 43:58Speaker 5: a little skirt and jacket, like a very kind of
- 44:00Speaker 5: Allie McBeal-ish anyway. And But when I watched it recently,
- 44:05Speaker 5: it was so weird because, like, I'm not good on TV.
- 44:09Speaker 3: Yeah. And I have this, like, weird voice. I don't know.
- 44:11Speaker 3: It was strange. It was really strange.
- 44:13Speaker 2: But it was a long time ago. It was a
- 44:15Speaker 2: long time ago.
- 44:15Speaker 3: You just changed.
- 44:16Speaker 5: And, you know, they were writing me mean things to say, like,
- 44:19Speaker 5: about the guy I didn't choose.
- 44:20Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 44:21Speaker 5: So I was very uncomfortable when he would think that
- 44:24Speaker 5: my answer was something nice. And I was like, no,
- 44:27Speaker 5: I said you had a face only a mother could love.
- 44:30Speaker 5: And the reason they came up with that one is
- 44:32Speaker 5: because I was talking to the producer after.
- 44:33Speaker 3: Because we'd go on the dates. The cameras wouldn't follow
- 44:36Speaker 3: you on the date.
- 44:36Speaker 4: Right.
- 44:37Speaker 3: And then they would, like, interview after. And then the
- 44:39Speaker 3: guys didn't know who said what. And I said....
- 44:44Speaker 5: I said, well, my mother found him very cute and attractive.
- 44:47Speaker 5: Because he came to the house to pick me up.
- 44:49Speaker 5: And that's when they came up with that line. You
- 44:52Speaker 5: had a face only a mother could love.
- 44:53Speaker 3: Like, mean.
- 44:54Speaker 2: Well, that was kind of a mistake.
- 44:56Speaker 3: And so, anyway, I did win. The other girl.
- 45:00Speaker 5: this other girl who was a nurse absolutely after Ronnie sugar,
- 45:03Speaker 5: in my opinion.
- 45:04Speaker 2: Really?
- 45:05Speaker 3: Yes. And then he didn't choose her here. The Virgin wins,
- 45:09Speaker 3: you know?
- 45:10Speaker 5: And I was like, I kind of felt bad. Cause
- 45:12Speaker 5: I'm like, she put out like, I didn't even kiss
- 45:14Speaker 5: this guy. And so anyway, we went on one date
- 45:19Speaker 5: and like, whatever. I didn't talk to him after that.
- 45:21Speaker 5: I saw him once at sports club LA and I
- 45:24Speaker 5: was like, remember me from studs.
- 45:26Speaker 3: And we were both like, whatever.
- 45:27Speaker 2: Didn't want to really, I'd love to know what became
- 45:28Speaker 2: of Ronnie sugar.
- 45:29Speaker 3: Ronnie Sugar.
- 45:30Speaker 2: That's his real name?
- 45:32Speaker 3: Yes. Really? I mean, he came... Yes, yes.
- 45:35Speaker 2: Okay.
- 45:36Speaker 3: That's what he said it was. Yeah.
- 45:38Speaker 1: And....
- 45:40Speaker 3: Maybe Sugar is in his life. No, I really do
- 45:42Speaker 3: think it was. Anyway, so it's... Yes, that's my story.
- 45:47Speaker 3: But yeah, you got to be careful. I had.
- 45:49Speaker 2: I had sneakers on.
- 45:50Speaker 3: But we never went to the Cabo trip is what
- 45:52Speaker 3: I'm saying.
- 45:52Speaker 2: Yeah. I went.
- 45:53Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 45:53Speaker 2: I went. And I never saw the girl. Like she
- 45:55Speaker 2: met me at the airport.
- 45:56Speaker 3: Did you sleep together?
- 45:56Speaker 2: No. I never even saw her in Guadalajara. She had
- 45:59Speaker 2: a boyfriend with her. She's like, oh, he's coming with me.
- 46:02Speaker 2: I'm like, all right. I just walked around Guadalajara, Mexico.
- 46:05Speaker 3: Was it fun at all?
- 46:06Speaker 2: I mean, no, mildly.
- 46:08Speaker 4: But.
- 46:09Speaker 3: I mean, Guadalajara. I know.
- 46:12Speaker 2: It's not even on the water. It's like mid, it's
- 46:14Speaker 2: in a landlocked.
- 46:15Speaker 3: Like a city.
- 46:16Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 46:16Speaker 3: And how many nights were you there?
- 46:18Speaker 2: Like two?
- 46:18Speaker 3: Like three nights.
- 46:19Speaker 2: Oh, God.
- 46:20Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 46:20Speaker 2: Anyway. It was wild. But I remember I had sneakers on.
- 46:24Speaker 2: I was wearing sneakers. And they were like, I don't know.
- 46:27Speaker 2: I didn't know. I had nothing. You know, I'd just
- 46:29Speaker 2: gotten to L.A. I had no clothes or anything. And
- 46:31Speaker 2: I was wearing sneakers. And we're about to go to air. Like, cut, cut, cut.
- 46:35Speaker 2: He's got sneakers. I can't do sneakers. So I said,
- 46:39Speaker 2: I don't have anything else. The director's like, he can
- 46:41Speaker 2: have my shoes. He was so angry. I took off
- 46:44Speaker 2: the sneakers and I put on the director's shoes. I
- 46:47Speaker 2: swear to God, this guy must have like a size
- 46:49Speaker 2: 15 shoe, some sort of slip-on loafer. You could see
- 46:53Speaker 2: it if you ever see it.
- 46:54Speaker 3: The back of the shoe.
- 46:57Speaker 2: Is coming off my foot. You could see it. There's
- 46:59Speaker 2: like six inches coming off the back. Well, I sit
- 47:01Speaker 2: on those director's chairs. Anyway, now I have to go
- 47:04Speaker 2: around to meet the girl. And there's no way I
- 47:07Speaker 2: could walk because the shoes would come right off my feet.
- 47:10Speaker 2: So I just kind of slid. You could see me
- 47:12Speaker 2: walking like I'm ice skating over to girls. I'm like,
- 47:15Speaker 2: what's wrong with this guy? And I was just sliding
- 47:18Speaker 2: over to her so I didn't come out of the shoes.
- 47:21Speaker 2: What a nightmare.
- 47:22Speaker 3: Did you ever get recognized from that episode?
- 47:26Speaker 2: Never. I still to this day, like the people that
- 47:29Speaker 2: I know from back on Long Island, like where I'm from,
- 47:32Speaker 2: they know me more from that dating game than anything
- 47:35Speaker 2: I've ever done.
- 47:36Speaker 3: So they all knew to watch, but no strangers ever said.
- 47:38Speaker 2: Everybody watched. And now I still see people like, remember
- 47:42Speaker 2: the dating game? I'm like, yeah, I do.
- 47:44Speaker 5: Well, nobody knew I was going to be on it.
- 47:47Speaker 5: And my show aired every night at like 730, whatever,
- 47:50Speaker 5: you know? And during the summers between junior and senior year,
- 47:57Speaker 5: anyone that lived in the L.A. area that went to S.C.
- 48:00Speaker 5: kind of knew to go to Stratton's at UCLA to
- 48:05Speaker 5: go get drinks.
- 48:05Speaker 3: And you had to wait in line.
- 48:07Speaker 5: And so that night after it aired, I went with
- 48:10Speaker 5: my friends in my Espresso Black Halter jumper, which was
- 48:14Speaker 5: just the best shorts.
- 48:16Speaker 3: Every time I wore that, it.
- 48:17Speaker 5: Was just— a guy got my number. Anyway, so— I'm walking
- 48:22Speaker 5: to get in line and people were like, you're on studs,
- 48:25Speaker 5: you're on studs, you're on studs.
- 48:27Speaker 3: And I said, I have got to make this a career. Yeah.
- 48:31Speaker 3: I was like, I love people recognize. I remember just going, I.
- 48:34Speaker 5: Don't know what it is because I wasn't pursuing acting
- 48:36Speaker 5: or film or anything at SC.
- 48:38Speaker 3: I knew I wanted to do it.
- 48:40Speaker 2: So this really, so it worked for you.
- 48:42Speaker 5: It made me just, I just clocked that moment of like, wow,
- 48:46Speaker 5: I really like it when people know, like recognize me.
- 48:49Speaker 2: How do you feel about it now? All these years later?
- 48:52Speaker 5: Well, I'm still very flattered that people like listen or
- 48:56Speaker 5: whatever when they say they're a juicy scooper.
- 48:59Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 48:59Speaker 5: But, um, you know, sometimes people are like, I got
- 49:02Speaker 5: the plane. The girl goes, weren't you on the Chelsea
- 49:04Speaker 5: Handler show? And I'm like, yes, I was, you know,
- 49:07Speaker 5: but I've had Juicy Scoop for 10 years and you
- 49:09Speaker 5: should listen to it. So it's like that. But no,
- 49:12Speaker 5: I'm still so like happy that someone recognizes me.
- 49:15Speaker 2: Still fun.
- 49:15Speaker 3: From 10 years later, you know.
- 49:17Speaker 2: Okay.
- 49:18Speaker 3: So Ireland. Alex Baldwin's daughter.
- 49:22Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 49:25Speaker 5: You know, she is lovely and she lives in Oregon
- 49:27Speaker 5: and she's a mom and she speaks very highly of
- 49:30Speaker 5: her stepmom, Hilaria.
- 49:32Speaker 3: But she said in like.
- 49:33Speaker 5: Her whatever blog or whatever, wrote this thing about how
- 49:38Speaker 5: she's like, toxic family members i tried to please them
- 49:41Speaker 5: they didn't want to be part of my life and
- 49:43Speaker 5: now they're not going to be part of my life
- 49:45Speaker 5: and i and anyway you know page six picked it
- 49:48Speaker 5: up i personally think she's talking about like the cousins
- 49:52Speaker 5: hayley baldwin or like i don't know it's weird i'm
- 49:55Speaker 5: like because if you're close to your stepmom you're obviously
- 49:58Speaker 5: fine with your dad now you did his roast she
- 50:00Speaker 5: spoke highly of her mom in it and i was
- 50:03Speaker 5: like yeah i think some i think she was hinting
- 50:05Speaker 5: at like She never felt accepted by, like, the cousins
- 50:09Speaker 5: in the Baldwin family.
- 50:10Speaker 3: That's what I think.
- 50:11Speaker 2: Well, I mean, they got a pretty extensive family. I
- 50:14Speaker 2: think there's all sorts of— Right.
- 50:15Speaker 3: So I think there could have been— Isn't the.
- 50:17Speaker 2: One guy married to China Phillips?
- 50:19Speaker 4: Yeah. Yeah.
- 50:20Speaker 3: You know what it is where I think it could be?
- 50:22Speaker 5: It's like if you have a family and it's Thanksgiving
- 50:25Speaker 5: and you're a 10-year-old girl and maybe there's two other—
- 50:29Speaker 5: 10 year old girls that are cousins and you see
- 50:32Speaker 5: them every Thanksgiving and maybe your memory is that they
- 50:37Speaker 5: didn't include you or you didn't feel like that will
- 50:41Speaker 5: hold you. And now at like 30, they probably would
- 50:44Speaker 5: be like, Oh my God, we'd love to see Ireland
- 50:46Speaker 5: at Thanksgiving.
- 50:47Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 50:48Speaker 3: You know what I mean? That's what I think it is.
- 50:49Speaker 5: I think it's like, you cannot, cause I remember that
- 50:52Speaker 5: at our family Thanksgiving, there's someone was feeling like, Oh,
- 50:55Speaker 5: those girls are, you know, they're sisters and I'm not
- 50:58Speaker 5: just a cousin and I'm not like, feeling included.
- 51:01Speaker 3: And the girls like, don't know to cause they're 10.
- 51:03Speaker 2: Right.
- 51:04Speaker 5: Like too many times people are like holding a revenge
- 51:08Speaker 5: for like a dumb.
- 51:11Speaker 3: Bully who was 10. Yeah. And it's like, yeah, they
- 51:14Speaker 3: were awful.
- 51:15Speaker 5: They were dicks, but chances are they don't even remember
- 51:18Speaker 5: being a dick to you because they didn't know that
- 51:20Speaker 5: they were doing something. I mean, some little people are
- 51:23Speaker 5: evil and like on the verge of being murderers, But.
- 51:26Speaker 3: Others, like, honestly, you just, like, you didn't know that
- 51:28Speaker 3: you were, like, excluding someone.
- 51:30Speaker 2: Yeah. Who knows? I wouldn't.
- 51:32Speaker 3: There's a childhood memory for you. Here. This girl, who
- 51:35Speaker 3: is fine, she fell off the Disney ship at five,
- 51:38Speaker 3: five years old, about a month ago. Her dad saw
- 51:41Speaker 3: her fall in. He immediately jumped in after her. The
- 51:45Speaker 3: ship did everything. He had to tread water, like, holding
- 51:49Speaker 3: her in the water for 20 minutes. The little boat
- 51:52Speaker 3: got him. But... It was that she fell through this
- 51:55Speaker 3: portal thing.
- 51:56Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 51:57Speaker 5: And people were like, how could that happen? You know,
- 52:00Speaker 5: did the plastic break on it?
- 52:01Speaker 3: Like, you would know.
- 52:03Speaker 5: Well, now they're saying, no, the portal was this. It
- 52:06Speaker 5: had bars across it, but it was open air.
- 52:10Speaker 2: Okay.
- 52:10Speaker 5: And this is a photo of it that someone posted,
- 52:15Speaker 5: so I don't know who gets the credit. But now
- 52:18Speaker 5: they're saying that the mom, like, had her sit on
- 52:21Speaker 5: the bar to.
- 52:23Speaker 3: Take a photo.
- 52:24Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 52:25Speaker 5: But if the dad was there to jump in, he
- 52:27Speaker 5: witnessed the stupidity as well.
- 52:30Speaker 3: And so.
- 52:30Speaker 2: They were trying to get a good picture of the
- 52:32Speaker 2: girl with the ocean in the background.
- 52:34Speaker 3: But does she do that? Or do you think they'll
- 52:35Speaker 3: still be able to sue the ship?
- 52:38Speaker 2: Well, no, not anymore. I think there's negligence on the
- 52:41Speaker 2: part of the parents. Yeah. Not supposed to put them
- 52:43Speaker 2: up like that.
- 52:45Speaker 3: But what a great photo.
- 52:46Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 52:47Speaker 3: One battle after another. By the way, horrible name for
- 52:52Speaker 3: a movie.
- 52:53Speaker 2: Yeah. Well, you don't know. Nobody knows what it's about.
- 52:56Speaker 4: No.
- 52:57Speaker 3: So it did really badly. And I looked up why
- 53:00Speaker 3: did it do so badly. Yeah.
- 53:01Speaker 5: It cost $ 300 million. It's only at $ 100 million. They put,
- 53:05Speaker 5: you know, Leonardo DiCaprio. But, yeah, people don't know.
- 53:09Speaker 3: What it's about.
- 53:10Speaker 5: It's like a futuristic person, whatever, living off the grid.
- 53:14Speaker 3: One battle after another.
- 53:15Speaker 2: They're like revolutionaries or something. Yeah.
- 53:17Speaker 3: The minute I heard the title before it came out,
- 53:18Speaker 3: I go, that's just an awful title. Mm-hmm.
- 53:21Speaker 5: There's that other movie that I think has a horrible title.
- 53:23Speaker 5: That's Colin Farrell and Margot Robbie.
- 53:26Speaker 2: Oh, I heard it was real bad.
- 53:27Speaker 5: But it has a weird one. It's like the longest
- 53:31Speaker 5: romance in time once again.
- 53:32Speaker 3: Like it's.
- 53:33Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 53:33Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 53:34Speaker 2: I feel like, you know, a lot of people talking
- 53:37Speaker 2: about movies like this one.
- 53:38Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 53:38Speaker 2: I mean, it's Paul Thomas Anderson. He's a big director. Right.
- 53:40Speaker 2: Everyone loves his stuff. And it's got big stars. But
- 53:44Speaker 2: I feel like the, you know, advertising for movies is
- 53:48Speaker 2: worse than it's ever been. I feel like I've heard
- 53:51Speaker 2: nothing about this movie. I don't see commercials for it.
- 53:53Speaker 2: I don't see anything for it. I feel like there's
- 53:55Speaker 2: a movie out there called Roof Man or something.
- 53:58Speaker 4: Right.
- 53:58Speaker 2: Where Channing Tatum lives in a Toys R Us or something.
- 54:01Speaker 2: It's like a baseline true story.
- 54:02Speaker 3: No, he lives in a McDonald's.
- 54:03Speaker 2: I thought it was Toys R Us. Maybe it's McDonald's.
- 54:06Speaker 3: Wait, he eats at a McDonald's. He eats McDonald's. No,
- 54:07Speaker 3: he steals from McDonald's.
- 54:09Speaker 2: That's what it is.
- 54:09Speaker 3: Climbs up into the roof. He lives in a Toys
- 54:12Speaker 3: R Us.
- 54:13Speaker 5: But he steals from McDonald's, but he's a lovable criminal
- 54:17Speaker 5: that's based on a true story?
- 54:20Speaker 3: Why would that true story inspire me to go see it?
- 54:23Speaker 2: It didn't. Nobody went. Anyway, I'm watching the commercial for it,
- 54:27Speaker 2: and I'm like, this tells me nothing about the movie.
- 54:31Speaker 2: I feel like the advertising has gotten real bad from movies,
- 54:34Speaker 2: and that's part of the problem. There you go. That's
- 54:36Speaker 2: my speech.
- 54:37Speaker 5: I don't know why we got away from movies like,
- 54:41Speaker 5: My favorite genre, which is infidelity leading to murder in
- 54:47Speaker 5: New York on a cold day.
- 54:49Speaker 2: So basically you're talking about the Diane Lane.
- 54:52Speaker 3: All of that. Mystery. Also because those trailers suck you in. Yeah.
- 54:58Speaker 5: Because you can do a great trailer and you're like,
- 55:00Speaker 5: oh my God, what is this about?
- 55:02Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 55:03Speaker 5: But those movies stopped being made because they weren't like
- 55:05Speaker 5: the international superhero blockbusters.
- 55:08Speaker 3: Blockbuster things. And I'm like, no, that's what we want.
- 55:11Speaker 5: We want just a great classic twist at the end, courtroom, sex, sexy,
- 55:20Speaker 5: pencil skirt lifted up to the waist.
- 55:22Speaker 2: The crying game. Remember the little dick in the crying game?
- 55:25Speaker 2: The little dick. All of a sudden we were like,
- 55:26Speaker 2: what the hell? Remember that? And we all were like,
- 55:30Speaker 2: we thought the whole time. And then the little penis
- 55:32Speaker 2: comes out. You know what I'm talking about, right?
- 55:34Speaker 5: The crying game was a movie... which there is a
- 55:38Speaker 5: surprise in it. But I remember my friend ruined it
- 55:42Speaker 5: for me because we were, and nobody knew what the
- 55:44Speaker 5: surprise was.
- 55:45Speaker 3: Just like Sixth Sense.
- 55:47Speaker 2: Sixth Sense. It was around the same era.
- 55:49Speaker 5: No one knew what the trick was. And so they
- 55:51Speaker 5: were sitting there and my friend goes, look at the hands,
- 55:54Speaker 5: look at the hands.
- 55:55Speaker 2: Yeah. I mean, honestly, if you watch it now, how
- 55:58Speaker 2: could you not know?
- 55:59Speaker 3: How could you not know?
- 56:00Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 56:01Speaker 5: But that was sort of, but I think back then
- 56:03Speaker 5: it was like quite controversial that this guy was falling for...
- 56:07Speaker 5: who he thought was a, you know, a natural born
- 56:10Speaker 5: woman when she was trans and thought that he knew whatever.
- 56:13Speaker 3: And then there was some other, I don't even know
- 56:14Speaker 3: what the movie was about.
- 56:15Speaker 2: There was a whole other story to it.
- 56:17Speaker 3: That was just one little element of it.
- 56:19Speaker 5: But 25 years ago, that was like a big deal.
- 56:22Speaker 3: Now it's nothing. Okay.
- 56:24Speaker 5: So anyway, to get people to go to the movies,
- 56:26Speaker 5: Emma Roberts, by.
- 56:27Speaker 2: The way, just so you, I don't know if you've heard,
- 56:29Speaker 2: But I just saw J-Lo in an interview. Her movie
- 56:31Speaker 2: bombed really bad. Kiss of the Spider Woman bombed.
- 56:34Speaker 3: Is it out?
- 56:35Speaker 2: Yes, it's already out. It made $ 650, 000 in like 2,000 screens.
- 56:39Speaker 2: I'm sorry I'm getting nerdy on everybody. But it was
- 56:42Speaker 2: like one of the biggest bombs in the last 10 years. Anyway.
- 56:45Speaker 3: But does anyone go to the movies?
- 56:47Speaker 2: No. Well, that's, yeah.
- 56:48Speaker 3: So I'm like, does it even count?
- 56:50Speaker 2: I don't know. Yeah. But she was on, I think,
- 56:53Speaker 2: Howard Stern or something. And she was saying that he
- 56:55Speaker 2: was saying, did you, any roles you turned down that
- 56:57Speaker 2: you regret?
- 56:58Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 56:59Speaker 2: She said she was offered that Diane Lane role in
- 57:03Speaker 2: that Richard Gere, Diane Lane.
- 57:04Speaker 3: I saw that.
- 57:05Speaker 2: And she said, I, that's the one I regret. I.
- 57:08Speaker 2: Turning that down. She could have done it. Would have
- 57:10Speaker 2: been good with her.
- 57:12Speaker 3: Back then, young J-Lo. I, she, well, Diane got nominated
- 57:16Speaker 3: for an Oscar for it.
- 57:17Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 57:19Speaker 5: And, but the reason she did, because it was Diane
- 57:22Speaker 5: and it was like right after, Diane cheats on Richard
- 57:27Speaker 5: Gere with this guy and sleeps with him and she's
- 57:30Speaker 5: like on the train going back to the suburbs and
- 57:34Speaker 5: there's this moment where she's like like by herself thinking
- 57:38Speaker 5: about the fucking yeah and then she's like oh my
- 57:42Speaker 5: god I gotta like clean out my underwear oh and.
- 57:46Speaker 3: She like goes to the thing like clean like.
- 57:48Speaker 2: That's why she got nominated for an Oscar.
- 57:50Speaker 5: No but then she starts to cry like the guilt
- 57:52Speaker 5: but then she's also like That was fucking amazing. It
- 57:56Speaker 5: was like the thrill of when someone does cheat for
- 58:00Speaker 5: the first time, I'm assuming. Like the thrill of it
- 58:03Speaker 5: and the excitement of it and then how quickly it
- 58:06Speaker 5: can derail your life.
- 58:07Speaker 3: That's why I love that movie.
- 58:10Speaker 2: Chad Lowe. It's also on it. Rob Lowe's brother. Yes.
- 58:16Speaker 5: Anyway, I heard that interview too and I thought it
- 58:19Speaker 5: was great. You always wonder, you know, Well, everything always
- 58:23Speaker 5: happens for a reason, yes. But if there was a
- 58:26Speaker 5: sliding door thing and she would have gotten it, actually,
- 58:30Speaker 5: it would have been that big of a juicy movie.
- 58:32Speaker 5: But she said she thought that the script probably to
- 58:35Speaker 5: her read like a cheesy Lifetime movie. Sometimes when I'd
- 58:38Speaker 5: read scripts for things, I would be like, this is horrible,
- 58:43Speaker 5: like about when I was going out for things.
- 58:44Speaker 3: And then I would see that whoever got it or whatever,
- 58:47Speaker 3: and I'd be like, oh. Like it's really– sometimes it's
- 58:50Speaker 3: really hard to read the word and see how it
- 58:52Speaker 3: can be changed or directed or what. And you're like,
- 58:54Speaker 3: who would have bought this piece of crap?
- 58:56Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 58:57Speaker 3: But then, yeah, they realize, oh, no, it's because all
- 58:59Speaker 3: these people are behind it.
- 59:00Speaker 2: Anyway, I thought it was interesting.
- 59:02Speaker 3: Yeah, I think it was– that would be– yeah. She
- 59:05Speaker 3: also said, I don't– I've never really been loved correctly.
- 59:09Speaker 3: and then the old boyfriend the waiter came out of
- 59:12Speaker 3: the woodwork.
- 59:13Speaker 2: Pissed pissed said she cheated yeah.
- 59:15Speaker 5: Wait i actually have that i think i have that
- 59:18Speaker 5: saying right here.
- 59:21Speaker 3: He said um.
- 59:24Speaker 5: Where my ex-wife, Jennifer Lopez, aka J-Lo, said that she
- 59:28Speaker 5: never has been loved or capable. Stop putting us down.
- 59:31Speaker 5: Stop putting me down with your victim card. The problem
- 59:35Speaker 5: is not us, not me. The problem is you. You,
- 59:39Speaker 5: the one who couldn't keep it in your pants.
- 59:41Speaker 2: Whoa.
- 59:42Speaker 3: But also, like, Keep it in your pants is because
- 59:45Speaker 3: a dick would come out of the pants.
- 59:47Speaker 2: How does a vagina pop out of a pants? I mean,
- 59:48Speaker 2: I think it's just a term, you know?
- 59:50Speaker 3: Sure.
- 59:50Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 59:51Speaker 3: You have been loved few times. You have been married
- 59:54Speaker 3: four times and have, it's hard to read this, and
- 59:58Speaker 3: have countless relationships in between. You have had good relationships.
- 1:00:03Speaker 2: Oh God.
- 1:00:03Speaker 5: Well, he seems like he's ready to get a support
- 1:00:05Speaker 5: group for JLo's exes together.
- 1:00:08Speaker 3: All right. Sorry, dude.
- 1:00:11Speaker 5: When she was talking to Howard Stern, She forgot about
- 1:00:14Speaker 5: you and so did everybody else. No one was remembering
- 1:00:18Speaker 5: the People article from 1992 when she married the waiter
- 1:00:22Speaker 5: for nine months.
- 1:00:23Speaker 2: Yeah. I forgot about that guy.
- 1:00:25Speaker 3: It was her officially first marriage. Yes. Okay.
- 1:00:31Speaker 5: So anyway, now there's now to, if you wanted to
- 1:00:34Speaker 5: go to the premiere of this other movie called Bagonia,
- 1:00:38Speaker 5: which seems like another futuristic, I don't know what it is.
- 1:00:42Speaker 2: Emma Stone.
- 1:00:43Speaker 5: But Emma Stone, she shaved her head for it. So
- 1:00:45Speaker 5: if you wanted to go to the premiere and get
- 1:00:48Speaker 5: the free popcorn and sodas that they have at premiere movies,
- 1:00:51Speaker 5: you can if you shave your head.
- 1:00:53Speaker 2: You have to shave your head too.
- 1:00:55Speaker 3: So a lot of people were shaving their heads.
- 1:00:57Speaker 2: I mean, it's already hard enough to get people to
- 1:00:58Speaker 2: go to the movies. Now you're going to make them
- 1:00:59Speaker 2: shave their heads. What are we doing here? Come on, everybody.
- 1:01:04Speaker 3: So fucking true.
- 1:01:05Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:01:06Speaker 5: That's always such a weird thing, like a dairy to
- 1:01:08Speaker 5: shave your head kind of a thing.
- 1:01:12Speaker 2: Okay.
- 1:01:14Speaker 5: Now, Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin's daughter, Apple, she got
- 1:01:18Speaker 5: on stage and was singing and, you know, the video
- 1:01:20Speaker 5: has gone, whatever, viral.
- 1:01:23Speaker 3: It's not great singing.
- 1:01:24Speaker 2: Okay.
- 1:01:25Speaker 3: She's with a band, but I mean, she was definitely,
- 1:01:27Speaker 3: it wasn't like she just popped up on karaoke night.
- 1:01:29Speaker 3: Like she was, she's trying to do this thing.
- 1:01:32Speaker 2: Okay.
- 1:01:32Speaker 5: And of course she already has a band and people
- 1:01:34Speaker 5: that are like, yeah, I'm an, I'm an out of
- 1:01:36Speaker 5: work musician.
- 1:01:36Speaker 3: Sure. I'll be the band guy of whatever.
- 1:01:39Speaker 2: Yeah. Your dad's in Coldplay.
- 1:01:40Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:01:41Speaker 5: Like I, yeah, I think we could do it. And
- 1:01:42Speaker 5: of course people are like, oh my God, the singing
- 1:01:44Speaker 5: is not good.
- 1:01:45Speaker 3: Give her a chance. And I will say as like,
- 1:01:47Speaker 3: nobody ever talks.
- 1:01:48Speaker 5: About the downside of being like a Nepo baby, which is,
- 1:01:52Speaker 5: If you do have a desire to do something in
- 1:01:55Speaker 5: your parents' world.
- 1:01:58Speaker 2: Oh, yeah.
- 1:01:59Speaker 3: I'm going to say not just acting. Because acting, yes,
- 1:02:03Speaker 3: someone can give you the part.
- 1:02:04Speaker 5: They can give you the script. You can do 10,000
- 1:02:06Speaker 5: takes until you come out decently. And you can take
- 1:02:08Speaker 5: acting classes. That's an easier NEPO path than stand-up or singing.
- 1:02:14Speaker 2: Oh, yes.
- 1:02:16Speaker 5: Because stand-up, I remember I one time asked– you know,
- 1:02:19Speaker 5: Melissa Rivers or whatever.
- 1:02:20Speaker 3: And I'm like, did you ever think of doing standup
- 1:02:22Speaker 3: or whatever? And she's like, I did. But can you imagine?
- 1:02:28Speaker 5: Like I, she wouldn't have the luxury to doing it
- 1:02:31Speaker 5: like you and I did with no eyes on us
- 1:02:33Speaker 5: for several years until we felt like we were good.
- 1:02:37Speaker 5: And in today's world, like they would have a camera
- 1:02:41Speaker 5: on you, whatever. And you know, if it's, if you're
- 1:02:45Speaker 5: that big of a start, especially back then, you know,
- 1:02:47Speaker 5: And so I do think it's like kind of a
- 1:02:49Speaker 5: hard thing. And I think like even Ray Romano sort
- 1:02:53Speaker 5: of talked about it with his twins that like they
- 1:02:56Speaker 5: kind of want to do comedy, but it's like hard.
- 1:02:58Speaker 2: I think that's why a lot of the sons and
- 1:03:01Speaker 2: daughters of celebrities get a little messed up. I think
- 1:03:06Speaker 2: it is tough. Yeah, it's definitely hard.
- 1:03:07Speaker 5: Speaking of not having kids, I always remember that was
- 1:03:09Speaker 5: a bit of or an interview or something of Ricky
- 1:03:13Speaker 5: Gervais who didn't have kids.
- 1:03:14Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:03:16Speaker 5: And he's like, the chance is so high that I
- 1:03:20Speaker 5: will have a spoiled rich kid who is not going
- 1:03:23Speaker 5: to be as funny or successful as I, and therefore
- 1:03:26Speaker 5: will just be a heroin addict.
- 1:03:28Speaker 2: It's my biggest fear. Because no matter what you do,
- 1:03:31Speaker 2: you know, next thing you know, you're on, what's that
- 1:03:34Speaker 2: show where you have to write a letter to your kids?
- 1:03:36Speaker 2: We all love you.
- 1:03:37Speaker 3: Oh, Intervention.
- 1:03:38Speaker 2: And then they run out the door.
- 1:03:39Speaker 3: That's why I'm glad. I'm just the right level. Yeah.
- 1:03:44Speaker 3: Well- Chris, let's see the outfit.
- 1:03:46Speaker 2: Oh, you want to see it?
- 1:03:47Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:03:48Speaker 2: Okay, let me put it on. So, yes.
- 1:03:49Speaker 3: I mean, you look very, like, weirdly Andy Warhol-ish.
- 1:03:53Speaker 2: Yeah, well, I'm supposed to be a character from K-pop
- 1:03:58Speaker 2: Demon Hunters.
- 1:03:59Speaker 3: Yes.
- 1:04:00Speaker 2: And I'm the character of Baby Saja. Baby Saja.
- 1:04:03Speaker 3: Can I interview Baby Saja?
- 1:04:06Speaker 7: Absolutely.
- 1:04:06Speaker 3: Because I don't know anything about Baby Saja.
- 1:04:08Speaker 2: I'm going to tell you. Okay.
- 1:04:09Speaker 3: Tell me about yourself, Baby Saja.
- 1:04:11Speaker 2: I'm in a band.
- 1:04:12Speaker 3: How old are you?
- 1:04:13Speaker 4: Oh.
- 1:04:14Speaker 2: That's a good question. 59. I'm in a band, and
- 1:04:26Speaker 2: I sing a song that if you have kids, you
- 1:04:27Speaker 2: would know. It's called Soda Pop. My little soda pop. Yeah,
- 1:04:32Speaker 2: so I'm in the boy band that is in K-pop
- 1:04:35Speaker 2: Demon Hunters.
- 1:04:36Speaker 3: Okay.
- 1:04:36Speaker 2: And I'm Baby Saja, like the head of the boy band.
- 1:04:40Speaker 3: But it's not scary. So like your daughter watches it?
- 1:04:43Speaker 2: My daughter watches it. It's not too scary, no. It's
- 1:04:45Speaker 2: good enough for a six-year-old.
- 1:04:46Speaker 3: And it's real actors or it's cartoon?
- 1:04:48Speaker 2: No, it's cartoon. It's an animated show called K-Pop Demon Hunters.
- 1:04:51Speaker 2: It's the number one most watched show in the history
- 1:04:54Speaker 2: of Netflix ever. It's a movie, actually. It's only a one-off,
- 1:04:58Speaker 2: a movie. Wow. And the women who are in it,
- 1:05:02Speaker 2: you probably know all the songs if you once again
- 1:05:04Speaker 2: have kids. It's the number one Halloween costume this year.
- 1:05:09Speaker 2: And baby Sasha, who I am, is the number five
- 1:05:13Speaker 2: costume this year.
- 1:05:13Speaker 3: Okay, so then what is your wife and daughter being then?
- 1:05:16Speaker 2: They are going to be two of the women from
- 1:05:19Speaker 2: K-Pop Demon Heads. I'm not sure their names.
- 1:05:21Speaker 3: So is Beckett so excited about this?
- 1:05:23Speaker 2: She can't get over it. She's never been more excited.
- 1:05:26Speaker 2: I also have, that I had to order online, I
- 1:05:29Speaker 2: have these really, really tight purple pants that I got
- 1:05:32Speaker 2: from Amazon, and I wear those as well, and some
- 1:05:35Speaker 2: funny shoes. And I'll be walking around the streets.
- 1:05:38Speaker 3: Of the valley. So are you just going in your
- 1:05:41Speaker 3: own neighborhood or you go to a party?
- 1:05:43Speaker 2: No, our own neighborhood. We go to a neighborhood that's
- 1:05:46Speaker 2: close to ours that has a real good tree.
- 1:05:48Speaker 3: Now I feel like that's what everyone does.
- 1:05:50Speaker 2: It's our old neighborhood we used to live in.
- 1:05:52Speaker 3: Yes.
- 1:05:52Speaker 2: It's amazing.
- 1:05:53Speaker 5: Yes. I love it when a neighborhood just knows we're
- 1:05:57Speaker 5: the neighborhood.
- 1:05:58Speaker 3: We're the neighborhood.
- 1:05:59Speaker 5: Everybody be down and fucking enjoy it.
- 1:06:02Speaker 2: Am I the biggest star you've ever had on Juicy Scoop?
- 1:06:04Speaker 2: I know you've had a lot of stars on here.
- 1:06:06Speaker 2: Have you ever had anyone from K-Pop Demon Hunters, the
- 1:06:09Speaker 2: number one show on Netflix of all time?
- 1:06:11Speaker 3: Speaking of Netflix shows, have you watched the- Ed Gein? Yes.
- 1:06:18Speaker 4: Yes.
- 1:06:19Speaker 3: Is the name of that show Monster or is it
- 1:06:20Speaker 3: called something else?
- 1:06:21Speaker 2: Yeah, it's a series.
- 1:06:22Speaker 3: Are you watching it?
- 1:06:24Speaker 2: I've watched one and a half episodes. I've tried. It's
- 1:06:28Speaker 2: very dark. It's very dark. And his voice drives me nuts.
- 1:06:33Speaker 3: Yeah, everyone's like, oh, he should get an Oscar.
- 1:06:35Speaker 5: I'm always like, I don't ever, I honestly always think
- 1:06:38Speaker 5: when someone's playing like a, whatever, a somewhat mentally impaired
- 1:06:43Speaker 5: character role, throughout history. And they immediately, because they're acting like,
- 1:06:48Speaker 5: you know, they have something, they would be like, oh
- 1:06:51Speaker 5: my God, they got to give him the Oscar. And
- 1:06:52Speaker 5: I'm like, as someone who does characters, that's actually to
- 1:06:55Speaker 5: me so much easier.
- 1:06:56Speaker 3: Than being a person.
- 1:06:58Speaker 5: Like Diane Lane in unfaithful and really playing like emotions.
- 1:07:03Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:07:03Speaker 5: To me, that's so much. Once you got the voice,
- 1:07:06Speaker 5: that's all you're doing. And because you're like psychotic, you
- 1:07:10Speaker 5: don't really show a lot of emotion.
- 1:07:12Speaker 2: I agree. Well, right now I'm playing baby Sasha and
- 1:07:14Speaker 2: it's much easier for me to be baby Sasha than
- 1:07:17Speaker 2: it is for me to be.
- 1:07:18Speaker 3: So how does baby Sasha talk?
- 1:07:19Speaker 2: I have no idea. I don't even know if I've
- 1:07:21Speaker 2: ever heard baby Sasha talk. I don't watch the show. I,
- 1:07:23Speaker 2: you know, my daughter's watching it and I'm, in the
- 1:07:25Speaker 2: background thinking about life's choices.
- 1:07:27Speaker 3: I have to say, the blue wig with the blue eyes,
- 1:07:31Speaker 3: it's kind of stunning.
- 1:07:32Speaker 2: Well, I have to cut the wig a little bit.
- 1:07:34Speaker 2: This is what's going to happen in the next couple
- 1:07:35Speaker 2: of days because I have to get it. I might
- 1:07:37Speaker 2: have the wig on backwards.
- 1:07:38Speaker 3: I think you do because it's like the bigs. Can
- 1:07:40Speaker 3: you just turn it around?
- 1:07:42Speaker 2: Let me see if I can turn it around.
- 1:07:43Speaker 3: Yes, absolutely. You have it backwards.
- 1:07:45Speaker 2: Okay, let me see if I have it backwards. No,
- 1:07:47Speaker 2: this can't be. All right, hold on.
- 1:07:48Speaker 3: To the side.
- 1:07:49Speaker 2: This is it. This is it. I think this is it.
- 1:07:52Speaker 3: Is it moppy?
- 1:07:53Speaker 2: It's supposed to be like.
- 1:07:56Speaker 3: Yeah, that's it.
- 1:07:56Speaker 2: That's it?
- 1:07:57Speaker 3: No, that's not it.
- 1:07:58Speaker 2: That's the same one?
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: Push it back.
- 1:07:59Speaker 3: Push it back. Push it back. I am.
- 1:08:00Speaker 2: I'm trying. Okay. I think it's supposed to be like
- 1:08:05Speaker 2: surfery kind of. And then this is the hat I got.
- 1:08:07Speaker 5: I'm just not excited for my Halloween costume. I've got
- 1:08:09Speaker 5: to like get something else, I think.
- 1:08:11Speaker 2: And he has blue eyebrows that I have to do.
- 1:08:13Speaker 2: So I make my eyebrows blue.
- 1:08:15Speaker 3: Oh, that'll be good.
- 1:08:15Speaker 2: Yeah. And I can't make myself. Baby Saja is Korean,
- 1:08:20Speaker 2: I believe. So I can't do that. You know what
- 1:08:22Speaker 2: I mean? That's pushing it. Yeah, then I'm canceled. Definitely. Yeah.
- 1:08:26Speaker 2: So I don't want to be that guy. So I'm
- 1:08:28Speaker 2: going to be just the white version of baby Sasha.
- 1:08:31Speaker 5: Now, I know your wife is more like the business
- 1:08:34Speaker 5: side of Netflix.
- 1:08:35Speaker 4: Yes.
- 1:08:36Speaker 3: But I need to ask a question.
- 1:08:37Speaker 2: Okay.
- 1:08:39Speaker 5: When, like, there's an article that comes out and now
- 1:08:43Speaker 5: people are just like, all right, when's the Netflix doc coming?
- 1:08:46Speaker 3: Do you know if Netflix.
- 1:08:48Speaker 5: Will immediately just tell their people, go start making a
- 1:08:51Speaker 5: doc out of that?
- 1:08:51Speaker 3: Or do they all have to wait to be pitched?
- 1:08:55Speaker 2: I think a lot of them are made privately and,
- 1:08:58Speaker 2: you know, just on and not Netflix. buys them. Netflix
- 1:09:01Speaker 2: doesn't necessarily produce all of them. Some of them are
- 1:09:04Speaker 2: produced by other production companies, and Netflix buys them from
- 1:09:06Speaker 2: those production companies, as far as I know. There are
- 1:09:08Speaker 2: some that are produced by Netflix, but others are taken.
- 1:09:12Speaker 5: One time there was a crime happening, I don't want
- 1:09:14Speaker 5: to say which one, and then the criminal was, the
- 1:09:18Speaker 5: murderer was arrested. And Drake in all sincerity was like, well,
- 1:09:24Speaker 5: now I'm kind of pissed because when the Netflix doc
- 1:09:27Speaker 5: comes out, it's like, it's not going to be as
- 1:09:29Speaker 5: fun for me to watch it.
- 1:09:30Speaker 3: Cause I know who did it.
- 1:09:32Speaker 2: Oh yeah, it is.
- 1:09:32Speaker 3: And I'm like, oh my God.
- 1:09:33Speaker 5: And I think that's what's so interesting is like when
- 1:09:36Speaker 5: they will see like docs about things now and younger
- 1:09:39Speaker 5: people are like doing a TikTok summary. And they're like,
- 1:09:42Speaker 5: let me tell you about what happened to Heidi Fleiss.
- 1:09:46Speaker 3: And you're like, How do you not know about Heidi Fleck?
- 1:09:48Speaker 3: And I'm like, oh, that's right. We're old. I know.
- 1:09:50Speaker 3: They don't know.
- 1:09:51Speaker 2: I always were upset when I watched any of those
- 1:09:52Speaker 2: murder things and they showed the guy, they went to
- 1:09:54Speaker 2: the guy and he had the orange suit on from prison.
- 1:09:57Speaker 2: I'm like, well, I know he's in prison now, so
- 1:09:58Speaker 2: I know he did something.
- 1:10:00Speaker 3: Well, then they realized that they just cut it real close.
- 1:10:04Speaker 2: Cut it real close. I put something over it.
- 1:10:05Speaker 3: And I'm like, why are they so close?
- 1:10:06Speaker 5: And I asked, I asked Keith Morrison once and he said,
- 1:10:09Speaker 5: you know, what we've started to do is we will
- 1:10:11Speaker 5: give them clothes.
- 1:10:12Speaker 3: Yeah. And they will bring like a plant.
- 1:10:14Speaker 4: Right.
- 1:10:15Speaker 3: Like a plant and something else. Cause they're doing it
- 1:10:17Speaker 3: in the prison.
- 1:10:18Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:10:18Speaker 5: And they've realized that like that was ruining it because
- 1:10:21Speaker 5: we had to watch the whole thing and think that
- 1:10:24Speaker 5: actually it was the weird, angry workman down the street
- 1:10:28Speaker 5: that didn't get paid. We had to, the first half is,
- 1:10:32Speaker 5: was it the word angry workman that she was a
- 1:10:34Speaker 5: bitch to that she'd ever paid. And then it's, but wait,
- 1:10:37Speaker 5: she had a secret lover, but, And then, no. And
- 1:10:42Speaker 5: the whole time, the guy's like, the dad, the husband
- 1:10:45Speaker 5: who killed her is like, yeah.
- 1:10:47Speaker 2: I don't know why this memory just came up, but
- 1:10:49Speaker 2: I had a friend on Long Island, his name was Joe,
- 1:10:52Speaker 2: who actually went and had an interview with John Wayne Gacy.
- 1:10:56Speaker 2: You could like write him in prison and request an
- 1:10:59Speaker 2: interview and he would do them.
- 1:11:00Speaker 3: That's the peacock wood, the devil in disguise.
- 1:11:03Speaker 2: Yeah, my friend went to interview John Wayne Gacy. He
- 1:11:06Speaker 2: wasn't a journalist.
- 1:11:07Speaker 3: He wasn't.
- 1:11:08Speaker 2: Like a fan of serial killers. Okay. And he went
- 1:11:11Speaker 2: and at one moment during the interview, the prison went
- 1:11:15Speaker 2: on lockdown. And John Wayne Gacy said to him, he goes,
- 1:11:18Speaker 2: you know, I could murder you right now and nobody
- 1:11:20Speaker 2: could stop me while they were on lockdown. And he
- 1:11:23Speaker 2: told me that story. Isn't that wild?
- 1:11:25Speaker 3: And what happened?
- 1:11:25Speaker 2: He didn't murder him.
- 1:11:27Speaker 3: How long was it dark for?
- 1:11:28Speaker 2: It was like 10 minutes. He was in there with him.
- 1:11:30Speaker 3: And was he talking with him for 10 minutes?
- 1:11:33Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:11:33Speaker 3: And he just did this for kicks and giggles.
- 1:11:35Speaker 2: He was just into serial killers.
- 1:11:37Speaker 5: Did that stop him from being into serial killers after that?
- 1:11:40Speaker 2: I'm not sure what he does now. I think he
- 1:11:42Speaker 2: has a bad case of gout now, I saw on Facebook.
- 1:11:48Speaker 3: The rich man's disease?
- 1:11:49Speaker 2: I think so. Yeah, he's not doing well.
- 1:11:51Speaker 5: There's a housewife and she has an older husband. And
- 1:11:55Speaker 5: I guess, and the other girl to be mean said, well,
- 1:12:00Speaker 5: you're a gout dick sucker.
- 1:12:03Speaker 2: Whoa.
- 1:12:04Speaker 3: That you're sucking a dick that might have gout.
- 1:12:07Speaker 2: Well, I don't think the dick has gout. I think
- 1:12:09Speaker 2: it's your feet.
- 1:12:13Speaker 3: And everyone's like, what's gout? And I just remember I
- 1:12:17Speaker 3: had a What did you say? It's the greatest what?
- 1:12:19Speaker 2: The conversation I've ever had. This is about whether gout,
- 1:12:22Speaker 2: your dick gets gout.
- 1:12:24Speaker 3: I know.
- 1:12:25Speaker 5: So I had a friend in post-college and she married
- 1:12:28Speaker 5: a guy and then she would brag about everything about
- 1:12:31Speaker 5: her life.
- 1:12:31Speaker 3: We're no longer friends.
- 1:12:32Speaker 5: And he did get gout. And she said, he has gout.
- 1:12:36Speaker 5: And we're like, oh, what is that? Because we're like
- 1:12:38Speaker 5: 27 and he was like 35, but like not healthy.
- 1:12:41Speaker 3: And she goes, oh, you don't know?
- 1:12:43Speaker 5: They call it the rich man's disease. Because it comes
- 1:12:46Speaker 5: from like having like steak and lobster soaked in butter
- 1:12:50Speaker 5: and martinis and cab cabernet every night because you're so
- 1:12:55Speaker 5: successful that you close a big deal. And then you
- 1:12:58Speaker 5: go to a fancy steakhouse with all your clients. And
- 1:13:01Speaker 5: then if you're super successful, you get gout.
- 1:13:05Speaker 2: Well, my friend that I know who has it, I
- 1:13:07Speaker 2: don't think he got it from that. He got it
- 1:13:09Speaker 2: from eating like TV dinners, Salisbury steak.
- 1:13:15Speaker 3: No, when this went down with The Real Housewives of
- 1:13:16Speaker 3: Salt Lake City, people were like, husbands were like, wait,
- 1:13:20Speaker 3: can you get gout from your dick being sucked? Like,
- 1:13:22Speaker 3: people were so confused.
- 1:13:23Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:13:24Speaker 5: And she was just like, you know what? You're a
- 1:13:26Speaker 5: gold digger. No, you're actually worse than that. You're a
- 1:13:29Speaker 5: gout dick sucker.
- 1:13:33Speaker 2: Wow. That's a hardcore.
- 1:13:36Speaker 3: Chris, tell everybody where they can see you next.
- 1:13:38Speaker 2: Come see me. Everybody, this, like tonight, this is a Thursday. Yeah.
- 1:13:43Speaker 2: So tonight I'm at Off the Hook Comedy Club. I'm
- 1:13:46Speaker 2: at Off the Hook in Naples, Florida right now as
- 1:13:49Speaker 2: we speak. And tomorrow night I'm at McCurdy's. McCurdy's. McCurdy's, Sarasota, Florida.
- 1:13:56Speaker 2: McCurdy's this weekend, the 21st and 22nd. McCurdy's in Sarasota, Florida.
- 1:14:00Speaker 2: And then Sunday night, the 23rd, this Sunday, I'm at
- 1:14:04Speaker 2: the Miami Improv. How do you like that?
- 1:14:06Speaker 3: I love it.
- 1:14:07Speaker 5: And are you doing your typical thing where you land
- 1:14:10Speaker 5: in Florida and rent a car and drive to every place?
- 1:14:11Speaker 2: Rent a car and drive and drive and drive. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 1:14:14Speaker 2: Then come see me. Hey, everybody, Chicago. Zany, Chicago, Wednesday night,
- 1:14:17Speaker 2: November 12th. And Rosemont, Zany's on November 13th. Come to those.
- 1:14:23Speaker 2: Hyenas in Albuquerque. And then the Unit B in Santa Fe,
- 1:14:27Speaker 2: New Mexico. Those are the next couple. Franjola.fun has everything.
- 1:14:31Speaker 2: I have a podcast called Cover to Cover if you'd
- 1:14:34Speaker 2: like to go over and check that out as well.
- 1:14:36Speaker 3: And he's on Patreon, and his Patreon is very, very
- 1:14:38Speaker 3: good as well.
- 1:14:39Speaker 2: Patreon is a lot of fun. It's good to see
- 1:14:41Speaker 2: you again. I feel like I haven't seen you in
- 1:14:42Speaker 2: so long. How's everything going?
- 1:14:44Speaker 3: Everything is great. You are going to do a gig
- 1:14:48Speaker 3: with me somewhat locally.
- 1:14:50Speaker 2: I'm excited about that.
- 1:14:51Speaker 3: At North Ranch Country Club.
- 1:14:53Speaker 2: I know. That's fun.
- 1:14:54Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:14:55Speaker 5: That's not open to the public, right? No, I mean,
- 1:14:59Speaker 5: someone could, I think someone would have to invite you.
- 1:15:02Speaker 5: The club members can invite people.
- 1:15:03Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:15:04Speaker 3: But- No, it's still intimate. It's not like a huge thing.
- 1:15:08Speaker 5: But I was pretty excited because they were like, oh,
- 1:15:12Speaker 5: they posted it and it's like sold out right away
- 1:15:15Speaker 5: or something.
- 1:15:15Speaker 2: Oh, really? Yeah. We're big deals. I know.
- 1:15:17Speaker 5: And I was kind of nervous about it because it's
- 1:15:20Speaker 5: like weird that so many people know me.
- 1:15:22Speaker 2: Because you know them.
- 1:15:22Speaker 3: But now I'm excited.
- 1:15:23Speaker 5: Now I'm excited to like write more specific jokes to
- 1:15:27Speaker 5: just like the world.
- 1:15:28Speaker 3: Of these people.
- 1:15:29Speaker 2: That's good. That'll be fun.
- 1:15:30Speaker 3: Yeah. Yeah. And I knew you'll be great, too, so
- 1:15:33Speaker 3: I know they'll love all your stuff.
- 1:15:35Speaker 2: Hopefully.
- 1:15:36Speaker 5: Everybody, thank you so much. Go to HeatherMcDonald.net. If you
- 1:15:39Speaker 5: have not subscribed to Juicy Crimes, it is free. Some
- 1:15:42Speaker 5: people were confused. It's my new show every Wednesday, and
- 1:15:47Speaker 5: you can watch it on YouTube or listen for free.
- 1:15:50Speaker 3: Just subscribe. And I say subscribe because that helps.
- 1:15:53Speaker 2: I saw your friend Matt who does Juicy Crimes with you.
- 1:15:56Speaker 2: I saw him on a flight.
- 1:15:58Speaker 3: Oh.
- 1:15:58Speaker 2: I didn't say anything. but we sat right near each other.
- 1:16:02Speaker 3: Oh, he's such a great guy.
- 1:16:03Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:16:04Speaker 3: So nice. Anyway, thank you. I can't believe you're still
- 1:16:08Speaker 3: this outfit. Yes.
- 1:16:09Speaker 2: Baby Saja. Hey, it's me. Baby Saja.
- 1:16:13Speaker 3: I can't wait.
- 1:16:14Speaker 5: Listen, if you guys are not following Chris Frangiola.
- 1:16:17Speaker 3: On Instagram.
- 1:16:18Speaker 2: Instagram, I know.
- 1:16:19Speaker 5: Then you are not going to see his Halloween delight.
- 1:16:23Speaker 5: And you post a lot and you do really funny
- 1:16:26Speaker 5: off-the-cuff shit.
- 1:16:27Speaker 3: I try to. And you are missing out if you
- 1:16:29Speaker 3: are not following.
- 1:16:30Speaker 2: I feel like I've just plateaued on those.
- 1:16:32Speaker 3: Oh, I plateaued too.
- 1:16:33Speaker 2: Yeah, they just stopped.
- 1:16:34Speaker 5: I've been at my same number for weeks. And then
- 1:16:37Speaker 5: I jumped to the next thousand and then it went
- 1:16:39Speaker 5: back down.
- 1:16:40Speaker 3: Really? Yeah.
- 1:16:41Speaker 7: I know.
- 1:16:41Speaker 2: I get a lot of unfollows, too.
- 1:16:43Speaker 5: My TikTok's going up, but my Instagram's been at 403
- 1:16:47Speaker 5: for so long, and I don't know how it works.
- 1:16:50Speaker 5: But if you're there, then you're going to enjoy it.
- 1:16:53Speaker 5: But if you're, for some reason, not following Chris or I,
- 1:16:55Speaker 5: please do.
- 1:16:56Speaker 2: And you always put a lot of stuff on there, too.
- 1:16:57Speaker 2: It's like they say, you've got to keep doing it.
- 1:16:59Speaker 5: They said they did a study where they studied people
- 1:17:02Speaker 5: who gave up social media for, I don't know, a
- 1:17:05Speaker 5: number of weeks. And how much healthier and better they are.
- 1:17:08Speaker 5: I'm like, listen, we don't have the option to do that.
- 1:17:11Speaker 5: I'm honestly envious of people that are like, I just
- 1:17:15Speaker 5: turned it off. I don't even like, I have friends
- 1:17:17Speaker 5: that they're like, oh, I don't, I'm like, what's your Instagram?
- 1:17:19Speaker 5: And they're like, oh God, it's, I think it's my
- 1:17:21Speaker 5: dog's name.
- 1:17:22Speaker 3: I don't even know. And I'm like, I'm so jealous
- 1:17:25Speaker 3: of you.
- 1:17:26Speaker 2: All my brothers, they have no social media. I'll show
- 1:17:29Speaker 2: them Instagram. They don't even know what that is. It's crazy.
- 1:17:32Speaker 5: No, these people actually go into bed or go to
- 1:17:35Speaker 5: the living room and they watch a show without looking
- 1:17:38Speaker 5: at their phone.
- 1:17:38Speaker 2: I know. I can't even.
- 1:17:42Speaker 3: What is that like?
- 1:17:42Speaker 2: I can't even imagine such a thing.
- 1:17:44Speaker 3: I feel like one day I'm going to be like,
- 1:17:46Speaker 3: I'm free. And I can just put it away.
- 1:17:47Speaker 2: I hope so. But up until that point. But you can't.
- 1:17:52Speaker 3: You can't because it's so entwined in our business. So
- 1:17:54Speaker 3: what do you feel like?
- 1:17:55Speaker 2: You're promoting constantly this.
- 1:17:58Speaker 5: I don't think you can do what we do without it.
- 1:18:00Speaker 5: And because of it, we're able to be successful.
- 1:18:05Speaker 3: So I'm not mad at it. There's no way I
- 1:18:09Speaker 3: could be.
- 1:18:10Speaker 5: Here without it because I would be beholden to somebody
- 1:18:12Speaker 5: at a network saying that I can speak three lines
- 1:18:15Speaker 5: in a sitcom.
- 1:18:17Speaker 3: So, like, no, I'm so grateful for it. But it
- 1:18:21Speaker 3: is truly, like, whatever, our version of Golden Handcuffs. Like,
- 1:18:25Speaker 3: you can't not do it.
- 1:18:26Speaker 2: It really is.
- 1:18:27Speaker 5: And sure, you can maybe hire somebody to do it,
- 1:18:30Speaker 5: but it's still... When they don't do it right, then
- 1:18:33Speaker 5: that person gets weird, and then they go on a
- 1:18:35Speaker 5: podcast and talk about you.
- 1:18:37Speaker 2: I'm like, oh, God.
- 1:18:38Speaker 3: What if my life was like doing Heather's Instagram for
- 1:18:41Speaker 3: a year? Like, let me tell you. Yeah, so you can't.
- 1:18:43Speaker 2: This is the worst.
- 1:18:45Speaker 4: All right.
- 1:18:45Speaker 3: Love you, Chris.
- 1:18:46Speaker 2: Love you.
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: Bye.
- 1:18:47Speaker 7: Christmas shopping has already started in our house. My daughter
- 1:18:51Speaker 7: is so organized, already planning Christmas gifts from Macaulay. Hair
- 1:18:55Speaker 7: care for her aunt and a fab fragrance for her bestie.
- 1:18:58Speaker 7: But the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. I'm
- 1:19:00Speaker 7: an early bird, buying one present a week from now
- 1:19:02Speaker 7: till Christmas, which makes budgeting less stressful. I can buy
- 1:19:05Speaker 7: in-store or online from macaulay.ie. For home delivery or free
- 1:19:10Speaker 7: click and collect.
- 1:19:11Speaker 3: So easy.
- 1:19:12Speaker 7: Gifts they'll cherish at prices you'll love.
