- 1:00Speaker 5: Oh, stage and screen.
- 1:01Speaker 2: Straight screen and see, and see.
- 1:04Speaker 6: And see.
- 1:04Speaker 5: And see.
- 1:05Speaker 2: International women of the world. It's true. Julie Goldman, Brandi Howard.
- 1:11Speaker 2: Welcome back to Juicy Scoop. My girls are here. We
- 1:16Speaker 2: have so much to discuss.
- 1:18Speaker 5: We've been away so long and we have different accents now. Oh,
- 1:21Speaker 5: you do?
- 1:21Speaker 2: Now, what is that accent?
- 1:23Speaker 5: It's just from Europe, you know.
- 1:25Speaker 2: How was your whole experience? We haven't even had a
- 1:28Speaker 2: chance to really talk about it.
- 1:29Speaker 5: Oh, my God.
- 1:30Speaker 2: You went to Ireland.
- 1:32Speaker 4: And we went to Scotland. And we went to London.
- 1:35Speaker 4: And so for a woman who enjoys an alcoholic beverage
- 1:43Speaker 4: such as myself— That's a hard six weeks or five
- 1:48Speaker 4: weeks or four weeks.
- 1:50Speaker 3: I was.
- 1:51Speaker 4: What do you think?
- 1:52Speaker 3: Why?
- 1:53Speaker 2: They didn't have like good mixed drinks? It was just
- 1:55Speaker 2: always like the Guinness or what?
- 1:57Speaker 4: No, they just always drink.
- 1:59Speaker 2: Oh, so it was.
- 2:01Speaker 4: Too much drinking.
- 2:01Speaker 2: Too much. Oh, I thought you said you couldn't get
- 2:04Speaker 2: like what you wanted.
- 2:04Speaker 4: I can't be in Ireland and not have an Irish coffee.
- 2:08Speaker 5: And an Irish whiskey. Every morning.
- 2:10Speaker 4: And if you don't know what an Irish coffee is...
- 2:13Speaker 4: That's whiskey in your coffee that you have in the morning.
- 2:16Speaker 4: So when I say I was drinking morning, noon, and night,
- 2:20Speaker 4: I was. Like, I'm like, well, we're in Ireland. Julie's like,
- 2:23Speaker 4: we're in Scotland.
- 2:25Speaker 2: Maybe skip the Irish whiskey. And how was your alcoholic intake?
- 2:29Speaker 5: Well, they did refer to us as the Whiskey Girls
- 2:31Speaker 5: after four days.
- 2:33Speaker 2: That's kind of hot. On the ship.
- 2:34Speaker 5: You know what I mean? So they did kind of
- 2:36Speaker 5: know what was doing. You know, we did a shit
- 2:38Speaker 5: ton of work. It was super fun. Scotland's our new
- 2:41Speaker 5: favorite place in the world, I have to say.
- 2:43Speaker 2: Well, you know, Drakey Poo. I know. And Peter.
- 2:46Speaker 5: Peter Poo.
- 2:47Speaker 2: And a bunch of other men are going on a
- 2:52Speaker 2: bucket list golf trip to Scotland to celebrate Drake's graduation,
- 2:57Speaker 2: Peter's 60th birthday. And so they're going to all these places.
- 3:02Speaker 5: I spoke to Peter about it.
- 3:03Speaker 2: I'm sure you did.
- 3:04Speaker 4: Peter said he watched or he listened to a Patreon video.
- 3:10Speaker 4: And I was like, we're going to have to block Peter.
- 3:12Speaker 2: No, Peter listens to yours and Chris Fragiola's. And someone
- 3:16Speaker 2: said that because on my Patreon, we did stream the party.
- 3:20Speaker 2: I did give it to the triple scoopers on that
- 3:23Speaker 2: level over the weekend. And they said, my favorite part
- 3:25Speaker 2: is that Peter is a Patreon member of Brandy and
- 3:28Speaker 2: Julie and Chris Fragiola.
- 3:29Speaker 5: Oh, I'm making him part of that. I'm saying hi
- 3:31Speaker 5: to him now every show. I'm saying hi to him
- 3:33Speaker 5: now every show.
- 3:33Speaker 4: She said, Peter, I know you're listening. So you want to,
- 3:35Speaker 4: you know, I don't know if you're gonna need to
- 3:36Speaker 4: bring a sweater. Now, Heather, what we didn't know is
- 3:40Speaker 4: that this is apparently a guy's trip. We thought it
- 3:43Speaker 4: was a father-son golf trip. Right.
- 3:46Speaker 2: But he's going with a group of— they' re going with a
- 3:48Speaker 2: group of guys. Yeah, but— and I think he's the only man, like,
- 3:53Speaker 2: under 50, so fun.
- 3:54Speaker 3: Oh, wow.
- 3:55Speaker 2: We're trying to integrate friends in drinks like that. Well,
- 4:02Speaker 2: he's going to love it. In about a week or two,
- 4:05Speaker 2: he's going to meet his ASU buddies and they're doing something.
- 4:08Speaker 2: So I'm like, good, good, good. But he does get
- 4:11Speaker 2: along very well with older guys, so it's fine.
- 4:14Speaker 4: And you know what he's told me, and hopefully this
- 4:16Speaker 4: wasn't in Confidence. His younger friends, they either don't have
- 4:22Speaker 4: money or they have money, but they don't want to
- 4:25Speaker 4: spend it. Whereas Drake is like, he's not cheap. I
- 4:29Speaker 4: don't know who he came from out of YouTube. I
- 4:32Speaker 4: don't know if you maybe got with the milkman. I
- 4:34Speaker 4: think when it.
- 4:34Speaker 2: Comes to golf.
- 4:37Speaker 5: Right.
- 4:37Speaker 2: I mean, he didn't buy his own graduation gown. He
- 4:39Speaker 2: borrowed it from his cousin. Okay.
- 4:41Speaker 4: So he knows how to be thrifty.
- 4:42Speaker 2: And he would not allow me to buy not even
- 4:44Speaker 2: one photo from the photo situation.
- 4:47Speaker 4: Because it was overpriced.
- 4:48Speaker 2: Yeah. He was like, no, you have one in your phone, mom.
- 4:50Speaker 2: You do not need, I go, I just want one professional.
- 4:53Speaker 2: He's like, no, I'm not telling you where the link is.
- 4:56Speaker 2: I'm not going to show you. You're not spending our
- 4:59Speaker 2: money on that.
- 5:00Speaker 4: Well, my take on him is that he likes guys
- 5:03Speaker 4: who are, you know, he does fit in well with
- 5:07Speaker 4: older company. And I feel he doesn't have the pressure
- 5:10Speaker 4: to drink at all around us, which I think is like,
- 5:14Speaker 4: because we're all drunk and he's probably like, Nice.
- 5:17Speaker 2: We're not.
- 5:17Speaker 4: We don't drink that much.
- 5:18Speaker 2: God, this episode is going to be like.
- 5:20Speaker 4: I'm going to see for myself. I have not seen
- 5:22Speaker 4: Drake like even have a drink when he's around us.
- 5:25Speaker 4: He's like, I'm good. And he's having fun. And he's
- 5:28Speaker 4: but I get sure when he's with his friends, they
- 5:31Speaker 4: act like young guys.
- 5:32Speaker 2: So I think then there's a group that's also like 30,
- 5:35Speaker 2: like 35 to 40 that, you know, have like a
- 5:38Speaker 2: kid or two. And those people he relates to, too.
- 5:41Speaker 4: But that's so good.
- 5:42Speaker 2: So it's all going to be fun.
- 5:44Speaker 5: Oh, my God.
- 5:45Speaker 2: Loved it.
- 5:46Speaker 5: Loved it.
- 5:48Speaker 2: I forgot to put this in my lineup of topics,
- 5:50Speaker 2: but I did make you watch, talking about a shit
- 5:53Speaker 2: ton of work. Part of the shit ton of work
- 5:56Speaker 2: was I made you watch a Netflix doc that's called
- 6:00Speaker 2: The Poop Cruise. And I kind of watched it again
- 6:04Speaker 2: because I was like, you guys need to watch this.
- 6:07Speaker 2: I was like, he will be so freaked out. So-
- 6:10Speaker 2: you guys may remember this story. It was all over
- 6:14Speaker 2: CNN and they did have the CNN reporter. Now, now
- 6:18Speaker 2: that she has been a let go from CNN, she's
- 6:21Speaker 2: wearing a rock and roll leather jacket.
- 6:23Speaker 4: Was that Brooke Baldwin?
- 6:24Speaker 2: Yeah. Like she took like, you know, an edgy curly
- 6:27Speaker 2: iron to her hair. And I'm like, yeah, she did.
- 6:30Speaker 5: She was like a blonde Joan Jett.
- 6:31Speaker 2: Yeah. All of a sudden I'm like, wait, who's this
- 6:33Speaker 2: girl in the red that's doing the story from five
- 6:36Speaker 2: years ago. So I guess it was, just like maybe
- 6:40Speaker 2: that first year you could go on a cruise. I
- 6:42Speaker 2: don't even know if they talked about COVID. Was it
- 6:44Speaker 2: before COVID or after?
- 6:45Speaker 4: I thought it was 2019.
- 6:47Speaker 2: Oh, so it was before COVID. Or 2018.
- 6:50Speaker 4: I thought it was 2013.
- 6:52Speaker 7: I just love that like anything good, bad, like the
- 6:55Speaker 7: docs that are out now, like I say this before,
- 6:58Speaker 7: like growing up, you'd hear like, And for Best Documentary
- 7:02Speaker 7: at the Oscars.
- 7:02Speaker 2: And I'd always be like, that sounds kind of juicy.
- 7:04Speaker 2: Where would I watch that? Where would I watch this
- 7:06Speaker 2: short film? Now all that there is is docs. It's
- 7:10Speaker 2: like people just be sitting around and be like, what's
- 7:12Speaker 2: a news story that hasn't had a documentary yet from
- 7:15Speaker 2: the last 30 years of our life? Let's do one.
- 7:19Speaker 2: What star is 25 who hasn't had a follow-me-around documentary yet?
- 7:25Speaker 2: She deserves one. It's just like, it's crazy. So this
- 7:28Speaker 2: one was great. Pretty disturbing. And basically, these people were
- 7:34Speaker 2: on a four-day cruise from Galveston, Texas. They were going
- 7:37Speaker 2: to stop at one stop and then come back.
- 7:40Speaker 4: But it's Cozumel, Mexico.
- 7:42Speaker 2: That was just a one-day stop.
- 7:43Speaker 4: If you know, you know. And if you don't, you don't.
- 7:45Speaker 4: And also Galveston.
- 7:45Speaker 2: What is there to know? Because I don't.
- 7:48Speaker 4: It is basically a place that was built as a
- 7:53Speaker 4: cruise stop.
- 7:55Speaker 6: Okay.
- 7:55Speaker 4: And there's something very specific. Alaska has a few. There's these, like,
- 8:00Speaker 4: destinations that are just cruise ports.
- 8:02Speaker 2: Oh, so it's like nothing else there.
- 8:04Speaker 4: And it's built up like you're visiting like a fake
- 8:07Speaker 4: Western town.
- 8:08Speaker 3: Right.
- 8:08Speaker 8: Oh, really?
- 8:09Speaker 2: That's so funny.
- 8:10Speaker 4: Yeah. So it's kind of like a fake cruise stop.
- 8:12Speaker 4: And it's a very short cruise from Galveston, which is
- 8:16Speaker 4: the ocean right outside of Houston, Texas to Mexico. Um,
- 8:21Speaker 4: I believed while I was watching it and I was
- 8:23Speaker 4: very hung up on it that the total amount for
- 8:25Speaker 4: the presidential suite of this cruise was $ 500. I was like,
- 8:29Speaker 4: I'm sorry. How much did this cost?
- 8:31Speaker 5: Well, you probably thought that because when it's all said
- 8:34Speaker 5: and done and we'll describe what happened, each of them
- 8:38Speaker 5: only got $ 500. Beyond shocking that they only got $ 500.
- 8:40Speaker 2: Beyond.
- 8:40Speaker 3: Beyond.
- 8:44Speaker 2: And so it's Carnival Cruise, which we know is that
- 8:47Speaker 2: that's the more economical cruise line.
- 8:50Speaker 5: The one with the red fin at the top.
- 8:52Speaker 2: Yes.
- 8:52Speaker 5: It's very recognizable.
- 8:53Speaker 2: And it was kind of great. They interview this guy,
- 8:57Speaker 2: you know, who is going to meet his father-in-law for
- 8:59Speaker 2: the first time. That was like whatever. They're just giving
- 9:01Speaker 2: accounts of real people that were there. Three cute girls
- 9:04Speaker 2: that did like a bachelorette party. And everyone's like, great.
- 9:08Speaker 2: You know, this is cheap. It's economical. Let's party. Let's
- 9:10Speaker 2: get drunk.
- 9:11Speaker 5: Don't forget. There's just like the one slot. that lady
- 9:14Speaker 5: who was like, ah, fuck whoever. She was like, which
- 9:16Speaker 5: one was that? There's that one woman. She worked there. Oh,
- 9:19Speaker 5: she worked there. Well, she was having sex with everybody.
- 9:22Speaker 2: Oh wait, the Russian.
- 9:23Speaker 5: It was important to know because they clearly vetted 14,000
- 9:26Speaker 5: people off the cruise and needed to talk to the
- 9:29Speaker 5: one lady was like.
- 9:30Speaker 2: Well, I was in his bedroom.
- 9:32Speaker 4: She goes, I didn't wake up in my own state room. Like, okay,
- 9:36Speaker 4: it happens. So she's like in some guy's room.
- 9:39Speaker 5: Like, Okay, make sure you have your one slot book. Okay,
- 9:41Speaker 5: go on.
- 9:41Speaker 2: Basically, what happened was there was a fire that then
- 9:45Speaker 2: caused all electricity to go out. So there was no
- 9:49Speaker 2: food that could be kept cold. And worse, you could
- 9:53Speaker 2: not take a shit. You could not flush a toilet.
- 9:56Speaker 2: You could pee in the shower, but you could not
- 9:59Speaker 2: take it. shit and you had to shit in a
- 10:01Speaker 2: red bag and like put it outside your door.
- 10:03Speaker 4: Oh, I was going to bring a small– I have
- 10:07Speaker 4: these small– you guys know anybody who has that Bed
- 10:09Speaker 4: Bath & Beyond little silver trash? That you step on
- 10:13Speaker 4: like that in your bathroom and the top comes up.
- 10:15Speaker 2: Heather's like, I'm not familiar. What is Bed Bath & Beyond?
- 10:18Speaker 4: I'm only restoration hardware across the board.
- 10:21Speaker 2: It's gone now, isn't it?
- 10:23Speaker 4: But it's that, it's a little silver trash that only
- 10:26Speaker 4: fits this much and you step on it and the
- 10:28Speaker 4: top goes up. The bags that go in there are
- 10:31Speaker 4: this big.
- 10:32Speaker 2: Yes.
- 10:32Speaker 4: The top is flat. I can't even throw a tissue
- 10:36Speaker 4: inside of it, and that's inside of a trash can.
- 10:38Speaker 4: I don't know how you're holding that under your bottom
- 10:41Speaker 4: and then getting anything inside.
- 10:42Speaker 2: Holding it and having to hold it. It was so disgusting.
- 10:46Speaker 2: And then there's no air conditioning, and it's the dead
- 10:48Speaker 2: of summer. And so then they were bringing their cushions out,
- 10:52Speaker 2: which I totally would have done and slept outside.
- 10:54Speaker 6: Yep.
- 10:54Speaker 2: And– I mean, thank God it actually did happen on
- 10:58Speaker 2: a carnival cruise because if it was even one level up,
- 11:02Speaker 2: there would be enough people that would have some type
- 11:04Speaker 2: of money to be like, you're getting me off of this.
- 11:08Speaker 2: You are getting me off of this. Yes, you are
- 11:10Speaker 2: getting– I don't care what. I'm going to jump off
- 11:13Speaker 2: and you're going to go and get in a boat
- 11:15Speaker 2: and get me.
- 11:16Speaker 5: There were so many questions though. I wanted to know.
- 11:19Speaker 5: Why didn't they get them off? The tugboat came to
- 11:22Speaker 5: turn it around, didn't put anybody on it. You didn't
- 11:25Speaker 5: bring another cruise ship by to load everyone. It was
- 11:27Speaker 5: so bizarre.
- 11:28Speaker 2: I guess because there was so many people. It was
- 11:30Speaker 2: like 4,500 people. So how would you cross them to
- 11:33Speaker 2: another boat?
- 11:35Speaker 5: Which is the lesson. Now, we've bumped between.
- 11:37Speaker 2: The two of us. What is the lesson? The lesson?
- 11:40Speaker 2: I feel like this could happen on any boat. No offense.
- 11:43Speaker 2: It could happen on any boat.
- 11:44Speaker 5: Any boat.
- 11:45Speaker 6: Titanic.
- 11:45Speaker 5: Titanic. Any boat.
- 11:47Speaker 2: I mean, it could happen on the nicest of the boats.
- 11:49Speaker 5: One million percent. If there's a fire and.
- 11:50Speaker 2: The electricity goes out, it goes out.
- 11:52Speaker 5: It goes out.
- 11:53Speaker 4: Our engine went out on our boat. We had to
- 11:55Speaker 4: spend an extra day at sea and miss our top
- 11:57Speaker 4: destination in Ireland.
- 11:59Speaker 2: This past trip? Yes. So you had no air either?
- 12:02Speaker 5: No, there was air.
- 12:03Speaker 4: But the engine went out.
- 12:03Speaker 5: We just.
- 12:05Speaker 4: floated in the ocean like we were in a time portal.
- 12:07Speaker 4: Julie's like, are we in the Bermuda Triangle? Because like,
- 12:10Speaker 4: what the fuck? And we just floated there for a
- 12:13Speaker 4: day looking at the same weird, bizarre.
- 12:14Speaker 2: And then you watch this, you must have been grateful
- 12:16Speaker 2: now that you only had a day and you could
- 12:19Speaker 2: shit in a toilet and flush it still.
- 12:20Speaker 5: I can't even describe to you the visceral feeling I
- 12:24Speaker 5: had watching this documentary. You don't understand. Not only have
- 12:26Speaker 5: we probably been on that ship Like we've been on
- 12:29Speaker 5: every ship. Okay. Between the two of us, we've been
- 12:32Speaker 5: on every ship. So from the feeling of the room
- 12:36Speaker 5: to the hallway, to the people, to the buffet, to
- 12:38Speaker 5: the food, to understanding how every single piece of it works.
- 12:43Speaker 5: I was sitting there just like.
- 12:45Speaker 4: She texted me. She goes, I'm really triggered right now.
- 12:47Speaker 4: I can't talk. I'm like, I hadn't watched it yet.
- 12:51Speaker 2: You're like, this is so grotesque. Now listen. The last
- 12:56Speaker 2: time I think you were this disturbed is when I
- 12:59Speaker 2: gave you another assignment about the orgasm. And that girl
- 13:02Speaker 2: did get convicted.
- 13:03Speaker 4: Oh, she did?
- 13:04Speaker 2: Yes.
- 13:04Speaker 5: Well, I mean. Somebody's got to.
- 13:07Speaker 4: Go to jail for this.
- 13:09Speaker 2: Getting people to diddle other people's dues below them and
- 13:13Speaker 2: having them not be able to leave the property or
- 13:15Speaker 2: whatever the whole thing was.
- 13:17Speaker 5: Another one people should watch.
- 13:19Speaker 4: Someone needs to be arrested for this.
- 13:20Speaker 2: I'm actually, like, impressed. That there wasn't more mayhem on
- 13:25Speaker 2: it or I don't know.
- 13:27Speaker 5: I think they downplayed it because they went into the–
- 13:29Speaker 5: it got into a thing where they were fighting and
- 13:31Speaker 5: then it turns.
- 13:32Speaker 4: Into Lord of the Flies.
- 13:33Speaker 2: People took– Yeah, extra food and it was like.
- 13:36Speaker 4: It's a little– When you say they downplayed it, I
- 13:40Speaker 4: did wonder. They didn't say one single physical fight broke out.
- 13:44Speaker 5: Which isn't true.
- 13:45Speaker 2: There's no way.
- 13:45Speaker 4: Because that couldn't possibly be true.
- 13:46Speaker 5: Absolutely not.
- 13:47Speaker 2: I mean that happens on every carnival cruise when people
- 13:49Speaker 2: are having fun.
- 13:50Speaker 5: There's no way. And even the guy said– When it started,
- 13:54Speaker 5: they started bringing the food out and people would hoard
- 13:56Speaker 5: the food and it turns into Lord of the Flies.
- 13:58Speaker 5: It's so deep on so many levels just how it's humanity.
- 14:03Speaker 5: It's gross. It's this. It's that. But at the end
- 14:06Speaker 5: of the day, my take is on no planet should
- 14:11Speaker 5: we have a boat that will put 4,500 people on it. 200,
- 14:15Speaker 5: we've been on a few that have been 200. That's
- 14:18Speaker 5: big enough. We do not need these ships that have four.
- 14:21Speaker 5: That's 4,000 people, meaning there's 2,000 staff. That's like 6,000
- 14:26Speaker 5: people on a boat.
- 14:27Speaker 2: The last time we did that is we went to
- 14:30Speaker 2: the Cayman Islands or the Virgin Islands with my mother-in-law
- 14:34Speaker 2: and the whole family. And, you know, it was....
- 14:39Speaker 5: I guarantee you guys.
- 14:40Speaker 2: So many people.
- 14:41Speaker 4: You guys did the baller one.
- 14:42Speaker 2: No, it wasn't a baller one.
- 14:43Speaker 4: You didn't do Royal Caribbean?
- 14:44Speaker 2: It was Royal Caribbean. I didn't think it was a baller.
- 14:46Speaker 4: But Royal Caribbean is the nicest of the mega ships.
- 14:48Speaker 2: With that many people, I mean, and then we were like, oh,
- 14:51Speaker 2: my God, my brother-in-law is named Tim. And Drake would
- 14:56Speaker 2: be like, there's so many Tims on this boat. There's
- 14:58Speaker 2: so many, like, bald-headed guys with, like, a, like, tank
- 15:03Speaker 2: top that says ship happens.
- 15:05Speaker 4: And just getting the ice cream, right?
- 15:08Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 15:08Speaker 4: There's unlimited ice cream.
- 15:10Speaker 5: I can't.
- 15:11Speaker 4: I can't.
- 15:13Speaker 2: It was that trip that I was kind of like, okay,
- 15:16Speaker 2: you know, no. The only other way I will do
- 15:19Speaker 2: it is like... the 250 like Ritz Carlton, Four Seasons, whatever.
- 15:25Speaker 2: And then I want like 10, at least 10 other
- 15:28Speaker 2: people I personally know that we're having dinner with. And
- 15:30Speaker 2: then from there, we will only go on like private,
- 15:35Speaker 2: the person's waiting with a sign and that person takes us,
- 15:38Speaker 2: not a ship, a bus, a ship, a bus. And
- 15:41Speaker 2: now here's your beach. We literally did that. We went
- 15:43Speaker 2: to the beach and we're like, And they're like, okay,
- 15:46Speaker 2: you guys have about 45 minutes there. And then now walk,
- 15:49Speaker 2: get back on the bus, get back on the little boat.
- 15:51Speaker 2: Now get back on another boat, a bus to go
- 15:53Speaker 2: to the big boat. I was like, oh, my God.
- 15:56Speaker 2: So I don't know. And then there was like this
- 15:59Speaker 2: maritime lawyer who's like smoking and he's like watching it,
- 16:03Speaker 2: like getting all excited. There was a thing that said. Oh, no,
- 16:07Speaker 2: you're right.
- 16:08Speaker 4: No, but they did get a settlement undisclosed.
- 16:10Speaker 2: There were some people, the people that went for it.
- 16:14Speaker 2: Other people might have been like $ 500 and a free trip. Yippee. Like,
- 16:19Speaker 2: I mean, that's what's also sad is that there weren't
- 16:21Speaker 2: people thinking that didn't have the savviness to know like, no,
- 16:25Speaker 2: 100 percent. You should at least each. Minimum be getting $ 10, 000. Minimum.
- 16:30Speaker 6: Minimum.
- 16:31Speaker 5: Well, but they signed away their rights. That was the
- 16:34Speaker 5: whole thing is that apparently in 2013, and I didn't
- 16:37Speaker 5: know this, and this trip and what happened there with
- 16:41Speaker 5: the poo changed a lot of cruising law because basically
- 16:45Speaker 5: when they took that trip, they signed a contract that
- 16:47Speaker 5: said– You can't sue the company for breaking down, dying, malting,
- 16:55Speaker 5: terrible food.
- 16:56Speaker 2: They did that after or that was the contract before?
- 16:58Speaker 5: That was the contract they signed when they got on
- 17:00Speaker 5: the ship. So no one had any rights. But then
- 17:02Speaker 5: that lawyer was like, I'll tell you what we're going
- 17:06Speaker 5: to do. We're going to get you something.
- 17:08Speaker 4: He's like instead of an ambulance chaser, he's like the
- 17:10Speaker 4: cruise chaser. But I know the people who are like this.
- 17:15Speaker 2: You know what?
- 17:16Speaker 4: I'm going to doctor up the receipts because I had
- 17:19Speaker 4: to have my mother drive from Galveston to Kentucky or Alabama.
- 17:25Speaker 4: Where was it?
- 17:26Speaker 2: They landed in Alabama.
- 17:27Speaker 4: I was like, color me shocked that there's a beach
- 17:30Speaker 4: in Alabama. That's how little I know. I was like,
- 17:31Speaker 4: oh my God, is that on the coast?
- 17:33Speaker 2: I'm definitely going to visit that.
- 17:34Speaker 4: But so somebody's like, you know what? It cost my
- 17:37Speaker 4: mom $ 10, 000 to get there. I missed my grandmother's funeral.
- 17:40Speaker 4: I got dysentery and I could never get rid of it.
- 17:42Speaker 4: And now forever I have a flesh-eating disease in my abdomen.
- 17:45Speaker 5: Yeah, that's right.
- 17:46Speaker 4: Like every single thing, I was walking in shit and
- 17:48Speaker 4: I had my toe removed. I would get my toe
- 17:50Speaker 4: removed just to get $ 250, 000. I get my small toe.
- 17:54Speaker 4: I had to get my pinky toe removed. My balance
- 17:56Speaker 4: is off. I can't work. One million. Like anything.
- 17:59Speaker 5: And that definitely, for sure.
- 18:01Speaker 4: But let me tell you what my plan would be
- 18:03Speaker 4: based on this.
- 18:04Speaker 2: Okay.
- 18:05Speaker 4: Do you guys recall Karate Kid, the first one?
- 18:08Speaker 2: Of course.
- 18:09Speaker 4: Okay.
- 18:09Speaker 2: It's a cruel, cruel summer. They went to Castle Park
- 18:13Speaker 2: for a hot date.
- 18:14Speaker 4: Well, do you recall what he was for Halloween?
- 18:18Speaker 5: Was he a ghost?
- 18:19Speaker 4: No, he had a shower curtain. Oh, it was a
- 18:22Speaker 4: shower curtain.
- 18:22Speaker 2: That's right.
- 18:23Speaker 4: So I would get a contraption such as, I'm going
- 18:26Speaker 4: to create my own porta potty. where either I charge
- 18:30Speaker 4: someone or I make a person from the boat do it.
- 18:33Speaker 4: I put a bucket in it. I'm like, the whole
- 18:35Speaker 4: time I was watching it, I was like this, why
- 18:37Speaker 4: would you not find buckets So that people can doo-doo
- 18:41Speaker 4: in it and you can toss it over. Why are
- 18:43Speaker 4: we trying to poo into a bag? I don't even
- 18:45Speaker 4: understand how you do that.
- 18:47Speaker 2: Because I think if you throw it over, then it
- 18:49Speaker 2: could land on like another. They said someone was throwing
- 18:52Speaker 2: the shit over and then it like came back from
- 18:55Speaker 2: the wind or something.
- 18:56Speaker 4: But you can't throw those bags into the water.
- 18:58Speaker 2: That's for sure. I'm surprised that. that no one like
- 19:01Speaker 2: did jump off and end their life.
- 19:03Speaker 5: I'm surprised too.
- 19:05Speaker 2: You know what?
- 19:05Speaker 4: I almost ended mine watching it because I was like,
- 19:10Speaker 4: the piece sloshing around in the shower. Oh, that's what
- 19:13Speaker 4: I didn't tell you. The other thing I would do
- 19:14Speaker 4: besides creating my own porta potty where it's buckets, where
- 19:18Speaker 4: I can have a comfortable situation in private in the air.
- 19:21Speaker 4: I would immediately go downstairs and pack all of my
- 19:25Speaker 4: things because if you don't, Now it's a pee river
- 19:28Speaker 4: in your room.
- 19:29Speaker 2: Right.
- 19:29Speaker 4: Sloshing into your shoes in the closet. Your suitcases are
- 19:33Speaker 4: under the bed.
- 19:33Speaker 2: I think I would have rather been on the Titanic.
- 19:36Speaker 4: Because at least you would have lived.
- 19:38Speaker 2: And died.
- 19:38Speaker 5: You would have lived.
- 19:39Speaker 2: You would have lived.
- 19:40Speaker 5: All the women lived.
- 19:40Speaker 4: You would have said goodbye, Peter. Best of luck to you.
- 19:42Speaker 4: Because no men survived. Yeah.
- 19:44Speaker 2: Right. Yeah. Well, I would have rather had that and
- 19:47Speaker 2: been cold and... and had Leonardo DiCaprio like go into
- 19:52Speaker 2: the ice yes now I know what to think.
- 20:10Speaker 5: Why did he do that to me? Well, what else
- 20:13Speaker 5: could I do?
- 20:14Speaker 6: I gave him five points.
- 20:17Speaker 5: He could have won the game with the help of
- 20:20Speaker 5: the No-Made team.
- 20:21Speaker 2: Now, I'm not going to do that. I don't know,
- 20:24Speaker 2: it's on the radio. Because that's the 40th SEAI Easy
- 20:27Speaker 2: Wins in New York. Will Shiv Ragh!
- 20:31Speaker 6: SEAI Easy Wins, the best in the world.
- 20:34Speaker 8: I'm Darman, and this is What Happens Next. Each week
- 20:37Speaker 8: on the show, I sit down with extraordinary people who
- 20:41Speaker 8: have faced tremendous setbacks, and yet somehow have found a
- 20:45Speaker 8: way to turn them into their greatest strengths.
- 20:48Speaker 2: Life is one long lesson of chaos.
- 20:51Speaker 1: I'm heading to the Emmys, and I have police complaints
- 20:53Speaker 1: filed against me.
- 20:54Speaker 6: When your free will was about to be taken from you,
- 20:56Speaker 6: what would you do if it was given back? Where
- 20:59Speaker 6: did that need come from, where you thought that you
- 21:02Speaker 6: had to succeed in order to feel loved?
- 21:04Speaker 2: He said, I have a work dad.
- 21:05Speaker 8: I need a home dad.
- 21:06Speaker 6: What happens next?
- 21:07Speaker 5: When I came in, he started crying.
- 21:09Speaker 6: Everybody in life encounters hardships. What defines them is not
- 21:13Speaker 6: those hard moments that they go through. It's about what
- 21:16Speaker 6: happens next.
- 21:17Speaker 4: I decided to risk it all.
- 21:19Speaker 2: I realized how valuable every day was.
- 21:20Speaker 4: You're worth the work.
- 21:22Speaker 5: Listen, Dara, I'm not going to pull punches.
- 21:24Speaker 4: You can use your voice even if it shakes.
- 21:26Speaker 8: The stories are different, but the impact is the same.
- 21:29Speaker 8: Only one question matters. What happens next?
- 21:40Speaker 2: Well, let's talk about what's coming up November 14th. This
- 21:44Speaker 2: is BravoCon weekend. If you missed my previous announcement, which
- 21:48Speaker 2: was on the last show, we are doing a live
- 21:51Speaker 2: Juicy Scoop. Brandi and Julie will be joining with me. So,
- 21:55Speaker 2: this is the Friday of BravoCon weekend. It is at
- 21:59Speaker 2: 10 p.m., which I think is great. You are not
- 22:01Speaker 2: going to be rushed. You can go to dinner. You
- 22:03Speaker 2: can do the events at BravoCon prior to that. Still
- 22:07Speaker 2: get a little respite. Come back to your hotel. This
- 22:09Speaker 2: is at the MGM Grand.
- 22:11Speaker 3: And.
- 22:12Speaker 2: Besides us, yes, it will be Bravo-centric, but pop culture-centric.
- 22:17Speaker 2: It will be funny. It will involve new things we've
- 22:19Speaker 2: never done before.
- 22:21Speaker 5: Oh, yes.
- 22:22Speaker 2: And lots of surprises and some interaction and all of that.
- 22:27Speaker 2: And it will sell out. This is the third BravoCon
- 22:31Speaker 2: that I've done, and it's always sold out. So get
- 22:34Speaker 2: your tickets today at HeatherMcDonald.net.
- 22:37Speaker 4: Does the last BravoCon we did– We did it on
- 22:41Speaker 4: a Saturday. Did we do Earringate? Or is that the
- 22:44Speaker 4: first one?
- 22:45Speaker 2: No, that was the one with you guys. But the
- 22:47Speaker 2: first one I did was in New York City. This
- 22:50Speaker 2: is the fourth BravoCon. The very first one, I just
- 22:53Speaker 2: tagged along with Jill Zarin and pretended like I was
- 22:56Speaker 2: helping to sell rugs to get in.
- 22:58Speaker 8: Strong.
- 22:59Speaker 4: And stayed at her house.
- 23:00Speaker 2: And she was like, you know what, Heather? You should
- 23:03Speaker 2: have done a show here. You know, that's what you
- 23:05Speaker 2: should do next year.
- 23:06Speaker 4: So then she was right.
- 23:07Speaker 2: You know, she's always right. That, you know, that New
- 23:10Speaker 2: York Jew in her is just, she's always... pushing her
- 23:13Speaker 2: girls to do more. Get ahead.
- 23:15Speaker 5: You didn't listen to me. You didn't listen to me.
- 23:19Speaker 2: So then the next one I did in New York,
- 23:21Speaker 2: that was great. And then last, and then two years ago,
- 23:24Speaker 2: a year and a half, whatever, two years ago, it
- 23:26Speaker 2: was the one with you guys. And then, and now
- 23:30Speaker 2: this one. So yeah, I was, I'm really excited. It
- 23:33Speaker 2: worked out. I think it's going to be really fun.
- 23:35Speaker 4: And so we haven't done two Bravo cons, you and me,
- 23:38Speaker 4: just one. I think we.
- 23:40Speaker 5: Just did one.
- 23:40Speaker 2: No, because last time, that was the first time it
- 23:43Speaker 2: was in Vegas. This is the second time it's in Vegas.
- 23:46Speaker 2: And it was either in October or November. So they
- 23:48Speaker 2: decided to do it every other year, at least for now.
- 23:51Speaker 2: Maybe they'll do it every year after this. I don't know.
- 23:53Speaker 4: Is Jill selling any rugs? Because Julie and I would
- 23:55Speaker 4: love to sell rugs with her. so we can get
- 23:57Speaker 4: into BravoCon for free.
- 24:00Speaker 2: I hope she comes and maybe she'll be part of
- 24:03Speaker 2: my show, but I hope she comes. But the rugs
- 24:05Speaker 2: are a lot, you know, the rugs are not something
- 24:07Speaker 2: that you can like, you know, unless you're Aiden in
- 24:10Speaker 2: the Sex and the City 2 movie that turned around
- 24:12Speaker 2: with a rug, Exactly.
- 24:14Speaker 5: Oh, gosh.
- 24:15Speaker 4: In the Moroccan market or whatever.
- 24:17Speaker 2: It's kind of hard to, like, bring all the rugs. Like,
- 24:20Speaker 2: you know, I think people selling, you know, T-shirts and
- 24:22Speaker 2: earrings might do better at these things.
- 24:23Speaker 4: She has candles.
- 24:24Speaker 2: But it is such a fun weekend. And you can
- 24:28Speaker 2: buy the three-day ticket. You could get a one-day ticket.
- 24:31Speaker 2: You can just... come to my thing and see people
- 24:35Speaker 2: walking around and get and have fun. And like maybe
- 24:37Speaker 2: someone throws you a ticket the last day. I don't know.
- 24:40Speaker 2: Just have fun with it. Who cares?
- 24:42Speaker 4: The MGM is the total business like period. That's where
- 24:46Speaker 4: we saw Adele. It's so fun. Also, I forgot to
- 24:49Speaker 4: say when on our trip, we got recognized twice by
- 24:52Speaker 4: Juicy Scoopers.
- 24:53Speaker 5: I love it.
- 24:54Speaker 4: We're in another country and just living and thriving.
- 24:57Speaker 2: Like what?
- 24:58Speaker 4: And then I would turn around and be like, yeah,
- 25:00Speaker 4: you know what I mean?
- 25:01Speaker 5: We're American.
- 25:01Speaker 4: We're famous. People are completely– you can just tell anyone
- 25:04Speaker 4: you're anyone there. That's true. I'm still pretending we were
- 25:08Speaker 4: on people's couch in cabs. I'd be like this. I'd go, oh,
- 25:10Speaker 4: you know the show Gogglebox in England? And everybody knows
- 25:13Speaker 4: that show there.
- 25:13Speaker 5: Well, it was great because it was also like from
- 25:15Speaker 5: this juicy scoop and then other people are listening. I'm like,
- 25:19Speaker 5: I'm sorry. I couldn't help but overhear. Are you famous?
- 25:22Speaker 2: Oh, really?
- 25:22Speaker 6: Oh, yeah.
- 25:23Speaker 2: That's fun. In restaurants, they'd send us drinks.
- 25:26Speaker 4: But in the cab, I'd say– you know that show,
- 25:28Speaker 4: it's called Gogglebox. And of course they all know it
- 25:30Speaker 4: because it's all over the UK. And they're like, yeah, yeah.
- 25:32Speaker 4: I'm like, we're on that one in America, even though
- 25:36Speaker 4: we really were. People's Couch is Gogglebox.
- 25:38Speaker 2: The first one.
- 25:39Speaker 4: It just so happens it's been off, been canceled for
- 25:41Speaker 4: approximately 10 years.
- 25:43Speaker 5: But they don't know that.
- 25:44Speaker 4: Who cares? So I just wanted to say, if you
- 25:47Speaker 4: are anywhere near Vegas and BravoCon, if you have tickets
- 25:51Speaker 4: to bravo con first of all the 10 o'clock hour
- 25:53Speaker 4: i think is the best because bravo con has these
- 25:56Speaker 4: late like club adventures which are really fun you could
- 25:59Speaker 4: immediately get a little tipsy at heather's show then go
- 26:03Speaker 4: to that and just.
- 26:04Speaker 2: Have fun you buy those things separate so so maybe
- 26:07Speaker 2: don't buy the one for friday and come to mine
- 26:09Speaker 2: buy the other thing for saturday i don't know but
- 26:11Speaker 2: i will get the tickets today because they will sell out.
- 26:14Speaker 4: And then you're gonna see people in the audience oh
- 26:17Speaker 4: yeah it's always so fun yeah so the audience is
- 26:19Speaker 4: lit too because you've got all the characters you want
- 26:22Speaker 4: to see recognizable and that's really I love being in
- 26:26Speaker 4: the audience with like and like looking at the celebs
- 26:28Speaker 4: in the audience or the you know bravo lebs or
- 26:30Speaker 4: whatever and that's how your shows always always are so
- 26:33Speaker 4: fun so get on that okay here we are now
- 26:36Speaker 4: there's lots of good photos I did not have a
- 26:39Speaker 4: time to go through all of them Brandy and Julie
- 26:41Speaker 4: I'm going to go through all of them and send
- 26:42Speaker 4: you the best ones but I just want to have
- 26:43Speaker 4: one for today So this is.
- 26:45Speaker 2: Brandi and Julie at my red carpet event, my party,
- 26:50Speaker 2: which really was so fun. The weather was perfect. Food
- 26:53Speaker 2: was great at STK. Very delicious. Very fun crowd. What
- 26:59Speaker 2: did you take from the evening, girls?
- 27:02Speaker 5: We had a great time. I mean, we had a
- 27:04Speaker 5: great time.
- 27:05Speaker 2: It was such a fun– everyone just said they had
- 27:07Speaker 2: the best time. Everyone got, you know, just as drunk
- 27:11Speaker 2: as they should. No one was making ass. But everyone was, like, tipsy.
- 27:15Speaker 2: I had a DJ. We danced. I gave a little speech.
- 27:18Speaker 4: You sang.
- 27:18Speaker 2: It was a good vibe. It was full but not, like,
- 27:21Speaker 2: too crowded.
- 27:22Speaker 4: It was– I do want to say whoever has the
- 27:25Speaker 4: YouTube is watching this on YouTube. My hair was in
- 27:27Speaker 4: a ponytail and it's blowing. So that's not like two
- 27:29Speaker 4: strands of hair coming down.
- 27:31Speaker 8: Yes.
- 27:31Speaker 4: I will.
- 27:32Speaker 7: I know.
- 27:33Speaker 2: I do not have time to go through all 25.
- 27:35Speaker 4: I want to say, first of all, there was a
- 27:37Speaker 4: million great touches. The DJ was so fun.
- 27:39Speaker 3: Yep.
- 27:40Speaker 4: And Heather saying good as gold with Sheena.
- 27:43Speaker 2: Oh, I forgot. So then Sheena came and it was
- 27:47Speaker 2: great because Leo and Logan, who are like their best
- 27:51Speaker 2: friends with like Lala and all the girls. Lala was
- 27:54Speaker 2: supposed to come. She broke her toe or something.
- 27:58Speaker 5: Okay.
- 27:59Speaker 2: And I did hear from a Patreon person that said,
- 28:03Speaker 2: I recently hurt my toe and there's nothing that I
- 28:06Speaker 2: would not want to do less than like even have
- 28:09Speaker 2: to stand a tennis shoe or not. So she is forgiven.
- 28:13Speaker 6: Okay.
- 28:13Speaker 2: Okay. But Sheena saved the day by showing up. And
- 28:18Speaker 2: so then Leo and Logan were like, oh, my God,
- 28:22Speaker 2: let's do as good as gold.
- 28:24Speaker 5: Great idea.
- 28:24Speaker 2: So then we started playing as good as gold and
- 28:26Speaker 2: she got into it and she was great. And she's
- 28:29Speaker 2: going to come on the show and tell us a
- 28:31Speaker 2: little bit about her book before so people can preorder
- 28:34Speaker 2: it and get it right when it comes out. But
- 28:37Speaker 2: everyone was just like in a really good mood.
- 28:40Speaker 4: It was like a good mood, good vibes. One, I
- 28:43Speaker 4: feel like we've been to a lot of parties like
- 28:45Speaker 4: this and luckily for us. And a lot of times
- 28:49Speaker 4: at parties like this, and I don't know, we've never
- 28:50Speaker 4: been to Kathy Hilton's Christmas party, which is different. It's
- 28:53Speaker 4: like very big with like.
- 28:55Speaker 2: A lot of like randos. Yeah, it's a big fancy house.
- 28:56Speaker 4: You didn't invite like randos. So, I mean, it could
- 28:59Speaker 4: have been huge. This is more, it was big. How
- 29:02Speaker 4: many people do you think you had there?
- 29:03Speaker 2: I don't know, like 100.
- 29:04Speaker 8: 150?
- 29:04Speaker 5: 150 maybe.
- 29:05Speaker 2: Yeah. I don't know.
- 29:07Speaker 4: So it was big enough and intimate enough, but everyone stayed.
- 29:11Speaker 4: There were press people there who weren't on weren't working,
- 29:14Speaker 4: like with Charlie from TMZ, Jock from Daily Mail, who
- 29:18Speaker 4: stayed and partied. Like that's something you don't see when it's,
- 29:22Speaker 4: when you do this all the time for your job,
- 29:23Speaker 4: you're just like, I'm going to go, I'm going to
- 29:25Speaker 4: have one drink and leave. They didn't, they stayed and
- 29:28Speaker 4: they had fun. We were having, it was just a
- 29:30Speaker 4: really fun party. The other thing that was choice was
- 29:35Speaker 4: that you did this thing that no one else has
- 29:37Speaker 4: ever done. from what I know, and now everyone's going
- 29:40Speaker 4: to copy it, but just know you heard it here first. Okay.
- 29:44Speaker 4: So Heather had to live streamed it on her Patreon.
- 29:47Speaker 4: And it was Drakey Poo was originally going to do it. Yeah.
- 29:51Speaker 4: And we can say Drakey Poo really wasn't really feeling it.
- 29:54Speaker 4: We like that Drakey Poo likes to just.
- 29:56Speaker 2: No, he was just. We had never really done it before.
- 29:58Speaker 2: So I think he was just stressed that it wasn't
- 29:59Speaker 2: going to be pulled off.
- 30:00Speaker 4: You know, he's the COO. He's the chief operating officer.
- 30:04Speaker 4: He's not trying to fucking be hosting the shit. But
- 30:07Speaker 4: Chris Frangiola and Drakey Poo look so good.
- 30:10Speaker 5: That's the other thing.
- 30:11Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 30:11Speaker 4: We had never seen him in a suit. And he's
- 30:14Speaker 4: just so cute, and he's just growing up. So Chris
- 30:17Speaker 4: Frangiolla takes it over.
- 30:19Speaker 2: So amazing.
- 30:20Speaker 4: And, like, you couldn't have– I mean, if you've never
- 30:24Speaker 4: seen him do stand-up, he's absolutely hilarious. You've probably seen him.
- 30:26Speaker 4: You've heard him on here. But he's walking around during this, like,
- 30:30Speaker 4: tight hour at the party. It was so, so amazing.
- 30:34Speaker 2: Funny.
- 30:35Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 30:35Speaker 5: So funny.
- 30:36Speaker 2: And I can just pop in and pop out. It
- 30:38Speaker 2: was like, great.
- 30:39Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 30:40Speaker 2: And yeah. And Drake was like laughing. And then he
- 30:43Speaker 2: was like, Drake and I are like a team. No,
- 30:45Speaker 2: it was really, really fun. So you guys, where can, did,
- 30:47Speaker 2: can you not, does that not still there? It's right now.
- 30:50Speaker 2: I don't know how long we're going to keep it up,
- 30:52Speaker 2: but it's on my Patreon. I have a doll.net, but yeah,
- 30:56Speaker 2: on the triple scoop, which is just the next level up.
- 30:58Speaker 4: We took the camera. It was great.
- 31:00Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 31:00Speaker 4: And we showed outfits. Or I did, because I was like,
- 31:03Speaker 4: fuck the comedy. Let me show, I wanted to show
- 31:05Speaker 4: Drake's outfit. I wanted to show Chris, because he looked hot.
- 31:07Speaker 2: Yeah, he's always stylish.
- 31:08Speaker 4: I wanted to show Peter.
- 31:09Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 31:10Speaker 4: I can't believe that guy's turning 60. Like, he was
- 31:13Speaker 4: like the splash of the party, okay? I wanted to
- 31:16Speaker 4: say about Chris Frangelo, we asked our mutual friend who's
- 31:19Speaker 4: single later. This is just for you guys to know.
- 31:23Speaker 5: Don't tell anyone.
- 31:24Speaker 4: I was like, yo, would you like bone down Chris
- 31:26Speaker 4: Frangelo or what? He's I know.
- 31:28Speaker 1: I know.
- 31:29Speaker 4: We know he's married. I mean, and she knew. It
- 31:31Speaker 4: was mainly just like, what are we thinking with Chris Frangelo? Like,
- 31:33Speaker 4: is he bonable? And she's like, oh, my God, yes.
- 31:36Speaker 5: I'm totally with Bono.
- 31:37Speaker 2: Like– I know.
- 31:38Speaker 5: He's a sexy man.
- 31:39Speaker 4: Last thing, last thing. He's a Catholic mofo. Yes. I
- 31:41Speaker 4: was thinking a blind item was going to come out.
- 31:43Speaker 2: Oh, yes. Saying what?
- 31:45Speaker 4: Saying a funny, hilarious duo from Bravo.
- 31:52Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 31:53Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 31:54Speaker 4: Was caught in the bathroom all night. And so this
- 31:58Speaker 4: is like my dream. Like let's give the like, because
- 32:01Speaker 4: we took your niece, who we were just talking about college,
- 32:04Speaker 4: she's going to college.
- 32:05Speaker 5: She's rushing.
- 32:06Speaker 2: Yeah, Chad's daughter, Haley.
- 32:07Speaker 4: Yeah, so Yellow Flower's daughter.
- 32:09Speaker 2: She's going to LSU.
- 32:10Speaker 4: And so we've been talking about sororities. We're all in
- 32:12Speaker 4: like a light sorority battle.
- 32:14Speaker 2: Yes.
- 32:16Speaker 4: We did get her like a Miu Miu bag. And
- 32:18Speaker 4: if she pledges Kappa, I'm fucking giving her the Miu
- 32:20Speaker 4: Miu bag. But I'm not. So we're in this battle.
- 32:23Speaker 4: Because we're all in different sororities and they're all good
- 32:25Speaker 4: at LSU. So Julie and I, and I'm like trying
- 32:27Speaker 4: to milk her. I'm like, just Kappa. I don't even
- 32:29Speaker 4: care if they're like gross there. And so we're walking around.
- 32:32Speaker 4: She's telling us stories. And I was like, I need
- 32:34Speaker 4: to go fix my dumb ponytail because look what happened
- 32:36Speaker 4: in the wind. We go into the bathroom. We're just
- 32:39Speaker 4: standing there. I'm like in the mirror fixing my ponytail.
- 32:42Speaker 4: Then your daughter comes in, Mackenzie. Yeah. Now we're talking,
- 32:45Speaker 4: all four of us, with Mackenzie. Then Mackenzie's boyfriend comes in.
- 32:49Speaker 4: Now it's us four with Mackenzie's boyfriend in the women's
- 32:51Speaker 4: bathroom talking about sororities while I fix my ponytail. Then
- 32:55Speaker 4: Sheena comes in. Now we're like Met Gallying out in
- 32:59Speaker 4: the bathroom. And it was such a moment.
- 33:01Speaker 2: And a vibe. I wish you guys took one big selfie.
- 33:03Speaker 5: We should have. We should have.
- 33:04Speaker 2: Oh, well. So, you know, got some press for myself.
- 33:07Speaker 5: Here I am.
- 33:08Speaker 2: OK Magazine wrote a little fun thing. Loved it. Okay.
- 33:14Speaker 2: Brittany from Salt Lake.
- 33:17Speaker 5: City was there.
- 33:18Speaker 2: She's a good time, and I can't wait to see
- 33:20Speaker 2: the show. Here's Sheena, and Sheena and I. You guys
- 33:25Speaker 2: look great. Here is the Brittany girl. She is officially
- 33:30Speaker 2: broken up with Jared Osmond once again. And then here
- 33:35Speaker 2: is my beautiful niece, Devin LaBella, who is... is a
- 33:41Speaker 2: stunt woman, an actress, an aerialist, gymnast, and a stunt coordinator.
- 33:47Speaker 2: And she is the one that you may have heard
- 33:50Speaker 2: the story about, TMZ, everything, that she is suing.
- 33:55Speaker 4: It's been all over the news.
- 33:57Speaker 2: She is suing Kevin Costner, who is denying these allegations
- 34:03Speaker 2: that she did a movie as a stunt double. And
- 34:08Speaker 2: it was, in a nutshell, it was not made aware
- 34:13Speaker 2: that she was supposed to do it. There's rules. You're
- 34:15Speaker 2: supposed to have 48 hours before. There's supposed to be
- 34:17Speaker 2: an intimate coordinator because it was a undescripted rape scene.
- 34:23Speaker 2: And she was doing the body double for the actress
- 34:28Speaker 2: who didn't want to do it because it was not
- 34:31Speaker 2: planned out and it was not– none of the things
- 34:34Speaker 2: were done. It was probably too violent. She was scared too.
- 34:36Speaker 2: And she was kind of like, oh, okay. And– And then,
- 34:39Speaker 2: you know, when she, so anyway, she has alleged her
- 34:49Speaker 2: lawsuit to include all the text messages that she sent
- 34:54Speaker 2: that day. You know, that day. After filming? Right at
- 34:58Speaker 2: the filming. And she alleged that she was, and she
- 35:02Speaker 2: was also, according to LaBella, She was not hired back
- 35:06Speaker 2: to continue her role as at all as a stunt
- 35:09Speaker 2: double for Horizon 3, even though she worked on Horizon
- 35:12Speaker 2: 1 and 2 after making a complaint about the incident.
- 35:16Speaker 4: Shocking. To me, that's the worst part. Other than the
- 35:20Speaker 4: obviously the trauma and PTSD that she went through as
- 35:24Speaker 4: a stunt person who isn't normally the person who fills
- 35:28Speaker 4: in on a sex scene, basically. And now we're getting
- 35:31Speaker 4: into like a S.A.
- 35:32Speaker 2: And R.A.
- 35:33Speaker 4: I just do that for YouTube because I'm like in
- 35:35Speaker 4: with the kids and I don't want this to get buried. But,
- 35:38Speaker 4: you know, it's sex scene period. She shouldn't be having
- 35:40Speaker 4: to do because the actress doesn't want to do it.
- 35:42Speaker 4: But the worst part is, is that it is exactly
- 35:46Speaker 4: the reason. And it doesn't matter if you work at,
- 35:49Speaker 4: you know, Bank of America or you work at, you know,
- 35:51Speaker 4: a supermarket or you work in the industry. The exact
- 35:55Speaker 4: or you work at Sirius. The exact same reason people
- 35:59Speaker 4: don't want to speak up and complain about their boss
- 36:02Speaker 4: or someone, their supervisor, because the minute they do that,
- 36:06Speaker 4: they lose their job. And that's always women. And it's
- 36:09Speaker 4: exactly to a T what happened to her. And that
- 36:12Speaker 4: is the travesty in this.
- 36:14Speaker 1: Like.
- 36:14Speaker 4: She wouldn't probably and I can't you can speak much
- 36:17Speaker 4: more to this, but I would imagine she wouldn't even
- 36:19Speaker 4: be doing this lawsuit, which, of course, whatever men want
- 36:22Speaker 4: to criticize. If she didn't lose work, she lost her
- 36:26Speaker 4: job because she would have worked on Horizon 3.
- 36:30Speaker 2: Yeah. And so, yeah, she's sticking up for everybody that
- 36:35Speaker 2: works in this industry, especially the people that you don't
- 36:38Speaker 2: hear about, which is stunt performers and.
- 36:42Speaker 4: Crew people.
- 36:43Speaker 2: Body doubles, stand-ins, whatever. Extras. So this is like a
- 36:49Speaker 2: precedented thing, I think. And so she joined Devin LaBella,
- 36:55Speaker 2: joined Horizon Sequel as the lead stunt double for Ella Hunt,
- 36:59Speaker 2: who played Juliet. In May of 2025, then she accused
- 37:03Speaker 2: him of this in the hostile work environment, all of this.
- 37:08Speaker 4: And wait, didn't he add that he added the sex
- 37:09Speaker 4: scene last minute?
- 37:11Speaker 2: Right. It was not part of it.
- 37:13Speaker 5: Not even just a sex scene, an R scene.
- 37:15Speaker 2: And this is her statement.
- 37:17Speaker 6: Mm-hmm.
- 37:30Speaker 4: I believe that 100%.
- 37:31Speaker 2: And then she sent text messages, which now she's been
- 37:35Speaker 2: resubmitted into the lawsuit. Well, because the first lawsuit, they
- 37:39Speaker 2: tried to deny it and be like, she was fine.
- 37:41Speaker 2: She was fine.
- 37:42Speaker 4: So then she resubmitted the lawsuit with the proof that
- 37:45Speaker 4: she did say she was disturbed and uncomfortable and upset
- 37:50Speaker 4: and needed like a personal day, wanted to be with
- 37:54Speaker 4: her family, like She felt betrayed and alone and exposed.
- 37:58Speaker 4: And so she had to resubmit the lawsuit because they
- 38:01Speaker 4: lied and act like she never said anything.
- 38:03Speaker 2: So she, yeah, she immediately did the right thing and
- 38:06Speaker 2: wrote a very, very professional text messages the day after
- 38:09Speaker 2: the alleged incident. She wrote, Devin wrote, I want to
- 38:13Speaker 2: discuss yesterday's abomination when we both have a chance. I
- 38:18Speaker 2: was put in a really wrong position and it really
- 38:20Speaker 2: affected me. She said– was apologetic and offered to talk
- 38:25Speaker 2: through it. Then Devin writes on why was there no
- 38:28Speaker 2: intimacy coordinator? Why was a stunt double doing this non-stunt
- 38:32Speaker 2: work especially given the sensitivity of it? Who is going
- 38:35Speaker 2: to take responsibility for the abuse of powers? You know,
- 38:39Speaker 2: so it's like they say you follow all the right
- 38:42Speaker 2: things and then you're deemed as trouble.
- 38:46Speaker 4: And you don't get work.
- 38:47Speaker 2: And you tell everybody in the area, not just on
- 38:50Speaker 2: this film, but don't hire this person anymore. And that
- 38:53Speaker 2: person's a woman who spoke up. What happened to me
- 38:55Speaker 2: on that set was a reckless violation of breach of
- 38:58Speaker 2: consent and basic workplace safety. This was her statement to us.
- 39:02Speaker 2: I was told to lie down and without warning or rehearsal,
- 39:04Speaker 2: another actor was brought in to simulate a rape on camera.
- 39:07Speaker 2: top of me. My undergarments were exposed. I was left
- 39:09Speaker 2: alone afterward, overwhelmed and shocked. Compliance under pressure is not consent.
- 39:15Speaker 2: Consent cannot be given after the harm was already begun.
- 39:19Speaker 2: So I am really proud of her that she is
- 39:23Speaker 2: going through the proper channels to be heard. And this is,
- 39:27Speaker 2: you budget that they're cutting corners or feeling like you
- 39:36Speaker 2: have the ability to just change things here and there
- 39:40Speaker 2: and not follow the rules of SAG and AFTRA of
- 39:43Speaker 2: intimacy coordinators and the rules around that. And so, you know,
- 39:48Speaker 2: of course, there's going to be people that... aren't going
- 39:52Speaker 2: to want to stick up for her because then their
- 39:53Speaker 2: jobs might be on the line and that is you
- 39:56Speaker 2: know we're in a bad time in Hollywood so I
- 39:59Speaker 2: I can understand why people are quiet or maybe they're
- 40:02Speaker 2: reaching out to her but not saying anything publicly but
- 40:06Speaker 2: I was like you know Devin Devin When this came out,
- 40:10Speaker 2: I said, if you want me to talk about it,
- 40:12Speaker 2: because I would be talking about it if I didn't
- 40:14Speaker 2: know you. But if you want me to hold back.
- 40:16Speaker 2: And so that's why when it came out a couple
- 40:18Speaker 2: of weeks ago, I per her wishes, I just kind
- 40:20Speaker 2: of was like. But then I, you know, hearing their response,
- 40:26Speaker 2: the other side and everything, I was like, Devin, I
- 40:28Speaker 2: think you should. Come and be with your aunties and
- 40:32Speaker 2: your fake aunties and your real auntie, which is Shannon
- 40:35Speaker 2: and me and your cousins. And, like, have a wonderful night.
- 40:39Speaker 2: And you've worked really hard. She's 34. She's been in
- 40:42Speaker 2: this business since she was a baby.
- 40:44Speaker 4: Isn't she who used to do stuff at Disneyland?
- 40:48Speaker 2: She was on Friends. She did many acting roles, tons
- 40:52Speaker 2: of commercials, all of it. And she got in this
- 40:55Speaker 2: business with no nepotism at all. She went, she would
- 41:00Speaker 2: sneak onto sets and go, who is a stunt coordinator?
- 41:02Speaker 2: If anything, you're the nepotism. You lurked on her because
- 41:05Speaker 2: she was already working.
- 41:07Speaker 4: You're the nepo, baby.
- 41:08Speaker 2: Yeah, it's not like I helped her become a stunt
- 41:12Speaker 2: coordinator at all. Like she went, found out what a
- 41:14Speaker 2: stunt coordinator does, met people, worked her ass off, and,
- 41:20Speaker 2: you know, taken the courses to be able to drive
- 41:22Speaker 2: the car. And these were things that she was into.
- 41:25Speaker 2: And now she's, you know, a troublemaker.
- 41:28Speaker 4: I just want to say two things. Put her picture
- 41:31Speaker 4: back up, Heather, so that YouTube can see. I just
- 41:34Speaker 4: want you guys to know, one, from three people who
- 41:37Speaker 4: have spent many, many, many hours on sets. First of all,
- 41:41Speaker 4: that's a hugely hard job to get, to be that
- 41:44Speaker 4: lead of that movie, her stunt. She's probably doing fight scenes. Yeah,
- 41:47Speaker 4: she was doing all, yeah.
- 41:48Speaker 2: But she has been a stunt coordinator for other things, too.
- 41:51Speaker 2: So she's, like, very in the stunt world.
- 41:53Speaker 4: To get that part, to get that job is so competitive,
- 41:56Speaker 4: so hard. She's immensely talented. But what it does, and
- 42:02Speaker 4: I just encourage your audience, and you do have a
- 42:03Speaker 4: big audience, both on YouTube and just on the podcasts–
- 42:09Speaker 4: We need to put our support for her. This is
- 42:11Speaker 4: the boils down to not just people not speaking up
- 42:14Speaker 4: at work, any work when they when something has when
- 42:17Speaker 4: they've been put in a situation that made them uncomfortable
- 42:20Speaker 4: and powerless. It's also goes back to why people don't
- 42:23Speaker 4: ever report anything to the police, because the minute she
- 42:27Speaker 4: she reported it anywhere, she was treated like a pariah.
- 42:30Speaker 4: She was treated like a liar. They called her a liar.
- 42:32Speaker 4: So she had to prove it with the text messages.
- 42:35Speaker 4: She's having to pay all out of pocket for whatever
- 42:37Speaker 4: these legal and law stuff isn't easy. But this is
- 42:40Speaker 4: the reason people don't report a real S.A. or a
- 42:44Speaker 4: real R or because they're never, ever believed. Women are never,
- 42:48Speaker 4: ever believed. And then they're villainized. Like, oh, you gave
- 42:51Speaker 4: your consent. You had no problem with it. Why are
- 42:53Speaker 4: you now reporting it a month later?
- 42:55Speaker 2: And whatever happens, whatever job you're at, whenever there's something
- 42:59Speaker 2: wrong that happens, especially in the essay version of things,
- 43:04Speaker 2: what people don't realize is that the alternative is to quit, leave.
- 43:11Speaker 2: What if you love your job? No one talks about
- 43:13Speaker 2: the fact that you love that job, you worked hard.
- 43:16Speaker 2: I remember one time when my friend, Was working for
- 43:19Speaker 2: a clothing company and I've talked about it and it
- 43:23Speaker 2: was the brothers who owned a clothing company, figure it out.
- 43:26Speaker 2: Grabbed her and she called me and she was like,
- 43:31Speaker 2: why did he have to do this? Because I finally
- 43:34Speaker 2: had a job I loved. And now I'm in this
- 43:38Speaker 2: weird place that now he– because I rejected him, now
- 43:41Speaker 2: he's going to try to get me fired, try to
- 43:44Speaker 2: get me banned from doing anything else in fashion. And
- 43:48Speaker 2: it's like that is why I always bring up the
- 43:50Speaker 2: Louis C.K. thing, masturbating to those two girls after– A
- 43:55Speaker 2: comedy festival and, you know, and then kept them out
- 43:58Speaker 2: of writer's room because he was so ashamed, realized it
- 44:01Speaker 2: wasn't well received and was like, well, if they're in
- 44:03Speaker 2: a writer's room, chances are they'll tell on me. So
- 44:07Speaker 2: let me use all my power to keep them from
- 44:10Speaker 2: getting work. And so I am very proud of her
- 44:13Speaker 2: and I hope everything works out. And you want to
- 44:17Speaker 2: say I do want to say there's a time where
- 44:19Speaker 2: people then thank her for for doing this, that are
- 44:22Speaker 2: in that position. And they realize that she stood up
- 44:25Speaker 2: for women when it was not cool. And a lot
- 44:28Speaker 2: of anxiety comes from filing a lawsuit like this.
- 44:31Speaker 4: Does she have like a handle or because I encourage
- 44:33Speaker 4: the audience. That's what I want is for the women,
- 44:35Speaker 4: the audience go and support her. This is an easy time.
- 44:38Speaker 4: She probably feels very isolated. That's why you were so
- 44:40Speaker 4: happy she.
- 44:41Speaker 5: Came to the party.
- 44:42Speaker 4: She needs to know that women are supporting her and
- 44:44Speaker 4: men and that we're all just like behind her for this.
- 44:48Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 44:49Speaker 5: I want to say two things.
- 44:50Speaker 2: Yes.
- 44:51Speaker 5: I'm going to keep it very, you know, because obviously
- 44:55Speaker 5: this is like, ugh. But, one, talk about when this
- 44:59Speaker 5: is all said and done, my hope for her is, one,
- 45:02Speaker 5: remember when you said documentaries? Documentary. Two, I think, what
- 45:08Speaker 5: do you think? Action movie where she wreaks revenge.
- 45:13Speaker 2: Seeks.
- 45:14Speaker 5: Seeks.
- 45:14Speaker 2: Yeah, wreaks havoc.
- 45:15Speaker 5: Revenge. Just, you know, I mean, I know right now
- 45:18Speaker 5: we're probably not at that place, but. She's a stunt coordinator.
- 45:21Speaker 5: She does action. I know she can do it. She
- 45:24Speaker 5: could potentially use this to her when it's all done. Just,
- 45:28Speaker 5: you know, the movie franchise. Fuck Horizon 1, 2, and 3.
- 45:33Speaker 2: It's LaBella.
- 45:34Speaker 5: It's called LaBella. It's called, there's John Wick 1, 2, 3,
- 45:38Speaker 5: and 4. This is gonna be LaBella-tized. Or LaBella, don't get,
- 45:44Speaker 5: and 1, 2, 3, 4. Like the equalizer. This is
- 45:46Speaker 5: what I want for her.
- 45:47Speaker 2: Yeah. The thing is, whatever happens from it, she is
- 45:51Speaker 2: super talented. And I love that idea. But also, you know,
- 45:56Speaker 2: she's like the farthest thing from a thirst bucket. She
- 45:59Speaker 2: actually chose to be in a more behind the scenes
- 46:03Speaker 2: type of a thing. And so, you know, if this
- 46:06Speaker 2: gets her to do more of that or something or
- 46:09Speaker 2: just be creative or do a whole not or get
- 46:11Speaker 2: out of the business completely. I was I'm just like, Devin.
- 46:15Speaker 2: You're doing the right thing.
- 46:17Speaker 5: Completely.
- 46:18Speaker 2: It will work out in your benefit.
- 46:20Speaker 6: 100%.
- 46:20Speaker 2: I know it. And it might take longer than you think,
- 46:24Speaker 2: but God will show you that you did the right thing.
- 46:28Speaker 4: 100%.
- 46:28Speaker 5: Amazing. It is amazing.
- 46:30Speaker 4: Crazy that that's your niece.
- 46:32Speaker 2: Yeah. So proud. So proud. Now let's talk about the
- 46:36Speaker 2: other big event that happened this week. There was the
- 46:38Speaker 2: Juicy Scoop party, and then there was the Jeff Bezos,
- 46:41Speaker 2: Lauren Sanchez wedding.
- 46:43Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 46:45Speaker 2: Now, they did it in Venice and they said they
- 46:47Speaker 2: love Venice. And but what's if you are a thirst bucket,
- 46:53Speaker 2: if you do like the fame, which she was, you know,
- 46:57Speaker 2: she likes it and there's nothing wrong with it. She's
- 46:58Speaker 2: been a reporter on camera for many years prior to this.
- 47:02Speaker 2: She got with him. She got him on the. whatever
- 47:06Speaker 2: that hormone is.
- 47:07Speaker 5: HGH.
- 47:08Speaker 2: Yeah, buff him out, got him some self-tanner, you know,
- 47:11Speaker 2: like taught him how to dress. Like they're definitely obviously
- 47:14Speaker 2: into each other. The relationship began, was a cheating relationship.
- 47:22Speaker 2: But we don't know that his wife wasn't completely done
- 47:25Speaker 2: with him and is thrilled. We don't know that she,
- 47:28Speaker 2: she might have no problem at all with this. But
- 47:31Speaker 2: They were couples together, Lauren Sanchez and her second husband.
- 47:34Speaker 2: She had a son with either her first husband or boyfriend.
- 47:38Speaker 2: She had a second husband who was a William Morris agent.
- 47:42Speaker 4: Huge, huge agent.
- 47:43Speaker 2: Had two kids. And then they were a couple friends.
- 47:47Speaker 2: And it got revealed, either the agent or somebody found out,
- 47:52Speaker 2: that they had been secretly seeing each other. They all
- 47:55Speaker 2: get divorced. And- But her kids were in the wedding,
- 48:00Speaker 2: Lauren Sanchez's. He's got her ex-husband, father of the daughter
- 48:06Speaker 2: and the son. He's got a hot Australian girlfriend. Mackenzie,
- 48:11Speaker 2: Jeff Bezos' wife, has given half of her million. So
- 48:14Speaker 2: she's worth $ 36 billion. She gave $ 19 to charity.
- 48:18Speaker 4: All different philanthropies.
- 48:19Speaker 2: Very cool.
- 48:21Speaker 5: He has not, though, by the way. He has not.
- 48:24Speaker 5: Just putting out that he has not. Also, we pay
- 48:26Speaker 5: more taxes than he does. Just putting that out there.
- 48:29Speaker 5: And I'm just putting that out there.
- 48:30Speaker 2: So they said no gifts, please. We will donate to
- 48:35Speaker 2: keeping the Venice canals filled with water.
- 48:37Speaker 5: I don't know.
- 48:38Speaker 4: Venice is crumbling into the sea and filthy. I mean,
- 48:42Speaker 4: the last time I was there, I mean.
- 48:43Speaker 5: Well, people were out protesting.
- 48:44Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 48:45Speaker 2: There were some people out protesting.
- 48:46Speaker 4: So it is one of the places like Barcelona that
- 48:48Speaker 4: is overrun by, you know, insta-thirst tourists.
- 48:52Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 48:53Speaker 4: And so it isn't badly in need of like, I mean,
- 48:57Speaker 4: that infrastructure cannot handle that.
- 48:58Speaker 2: The thing is, if you wanted to have a beautiful
- 49:00Speaker 2: private wedding, you could do it anywhere. Now, this is
- 49:03Speaker 2: where they love. But also, by doing it here, everyone
- 49:08Speaker 2: has to see you get on those little taxis. Right.
- 49:10Speaker 2: So if you're going to be a thirst bucket, if
- 49:12Speaker 2: you're going to invite all these celebrities, you maxed out
- 49:17Speaker 2: in the best way. Everyone knew all the people that
- 49:20Speaker 2: were coming. Some people were wondering, why did Sydney Sweeney,
- 49:23Speaker 2: how does she know these two?
- 49:24Speaker 5: They're good friends. They go out all the time. They
- 49:27Speaker 5: love going to lunch.
- 49:28Speaker 2: It could be as simple as there's some project and
- 49:33Speaker 2: Lauren is the EP of it. We don't know about
- 49:36Speaker 2: it yet. And they've had a couple of meetings and
- 49:37Speaker 2: hit it off. Why wouldn't you come? What kind of
- 49:39Speaker 2: a wedding?
- 49:40Speaker 4: That's true.
- 49:41Speaker 2: What kind of a wedding?
- 49:42Speaker 3: That's true.
- 49:42Speaker 4: I would bet that whatever, she's doing that boxing. She's
- 49:44Speaker 4: got tons of movies that she's already doing.
- 49:47Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 49:47Speaker 4: One of them is probably with Amazon Studios.
- 49:49Speaker 3: Right.
- 49:49Speaker 4: I mean, Amazon has a full studio.
- 49:51Speaker 2: But I'm thinking there is something that maybe there was
- 49:55Speaker 2: more than just like a one-time meeting that got her invited.
- 49:58Speaker 2: Like maybe there is a little more of a history
- 50:00Speaker 2: or something. And if not, who cares? And so, of course,
- 50:04Speaker 2: the Kardashians were all there. They are fun.
- 50:06Speaker 4: Was Kourtney there?
- 50:07Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 50:08Speaker 2: You know, I don't think I saw Kourtney. We saw
- 50:10Speaker 2: Kylie Kim, Kendall, Chris, Kory, the boyfriend, and we saw– Khloe. Khloe, yeah.
- 50:19Speaker 2: So I want to say I don't think Kourtney came.
- 50:23Speaker 4: And we didn't see Timothee Chalamet.
- 50:24Speaker 2: But Kourtney also got married in Venice and had the
- 50:26Speaker 2: same thing where everyone could see. And she did film
- 50:28Speaker 2: hers and everything. And– So it looked amazing. I mean,
- 50:34Speaker 2: it was fun to watch all the photos. She got
- 50:37Speaker 2: a digital cover of Vogue in her wedding gown, which
- 50:41Speaker 2: people are like, she got the cover of Vogue the
- 50:43Speaker 2: same day that Anna Wintour stepped down. Maybe that was
- 50:46Speaker 2: bought off. But I guess a digital cover isn't that
- 50:49Speaker 2: big of a deal. It's not like, but maybe it's
- 50:51Speaker 2: the only, maybe they still only do one digital cover
- 50:53Speaker 2: a month and she got it. She probably should. I mean,
- 50:56Speaker 2: it's a very talked about wedding.
- 50:59Speaker 5: I thought.
- 51:00Speaker 2: I mean I like her tiny waist body. I think
- 51:03Speaker 2: it looks good. Here's the protester denouncing it, whatever. Here
- 51:09Speaker 2: are some of the people. So it was like they
- 51:10Speaker 2: got married on a Friday. Then they had like a
- 51:12Speaker 2: second party Saturday that was like– so they had like
- 51:15Speaker 2: the rehearsal dinner Thursday, wedding Friday. The next party was
- 51:19Speaker 2: supposed to be this pajama party, Dolce Nati. But she
- 51:24Speaker 2: ended up going Lauren in like a normal dress.
- 51:27Speaker 4: So did Kim.
- 51:28Speaker 2: No, Kim didn't. Kim went in– hold on.
- 51:30Speaker 4: It was like a lingerie, right?
- 51:31Speaker 2: No, Kim went in like a full– like Kim looks
- 51:33Speaker 2: like she's going to the Playboy Mansion.
- 51:35Speaker 7: On like mid-summer night's dream.
- 51:36Speaker 2: But it's still kind of a normal dress. I don't
- 51:38Speaker 2: think this is a normal dress.
- 51:39Speaker 4: It's not a normal dress, but it's not pajamas.
- 51:41Speaker 2: I think this is sort of pajama-y. I just want
- 51:45Speaker 2: to relax and lay down in bed. Kylie was wearing
- 51:50Speaker 2: like a white silvery corset dress. So people thought she
- 51:53Speaker 2: was kind of breaking the rules of wearing white.
- 51:55Speaker 4: I agree with that. I'm into not wearing white to
- 52:00Speaker 4: someone else's wedding.
- 52:02Speaker 2: Definitely not. You shouldn't.
- 52:03Speaker 4: And she did. And people were offended. And then, you know,
- 52:06Speaker 4: Bethany Frankel had to be like, oh, who cares? And
- 52:07Speaker 4: I'm like, well, we all do because it's just a
- 52:11Speaker 4: thing that you, you know. it's just a polite thing
- 52:15Speaker 4: to do.
- 52:15Speaker 2: Tracee Ellis Ross wore like a white suit to my wedding.
- 52:21Speaker 4: So was it, but it was, was it pants? And
- 52:23Speaker 4: she wasn't famous yet, right?
- 52:24Speaker 2: I want to say it was like a casual white-ish
- 52:27Speaker 2: dress with like a white blazer. She brought me a
- 52:30Speaker 2: Prada bag. I'd never had a designer bag. That was
- 52:32Speaker 2: my gift.
- 52:33Speaker 4: Then she can wear white.
- 52:34Speaker 2: I didn't, I didn't even think, I did not even
- 52:37Speaker 2: think about it until like my manager said something that
- 52:40Speaker 2: his wife was like, you're not supposed to do that.
- 52:41Speaker 2: And I was like, Oh, my God, I would just
- 52:43Speaker 2: never care. Like, yeah, I don't think they're I don't
- 52:46Speaker 2: think they're like going up to her and being like, hi, Heather.
- 52:48Speaker 2: I mean, she's a black woman. I don't think they
- 52:50Speaker 2: were confused. I don't think if it's like I get it. Whatever.
- 52:55Speaker 2: You probably should not just because then people talk about it.
- 52:57Speaker 2: But like, I do believe that you wouldn't care, though. Well,
- 53:00Speaker 2: I remember when Kim got married for the second time,
- 53:04Speaker 2: but it was the first one no one knew about.
- 53:06Speaker 2: It was the Chris Humphreys. And they did. You have
- 53:09Speaker 2: to wear black or white. and I didn't know if
- 53:13Speaker 2: it was a trick, but I went to this Suzy
- 53:16Speaker 2: Wong place, and she gave me some dresses to borrow
- 53:19Speaker 2: for free. And the one that I really liked was this, like, white,
- 53:23Speaker 2: cute strapless with, like, feathers or whatever, some ruffle at
- 53:26Speaker 2: the bottom. And I took a photo of it, and
- 53:29Speaker 2: I sent it through Liz to Courtney, and I go,
- 53:34Speaker 2: I mean, is this a trick? Like, if I wear
- 53:38Speaker 2: a white dress, is this not– really what she wants.
- 53:42Speaker 2: And she was like, no, go for it. And so
- 53:45Speaker 2: I did wear the white dress. But most people did not.
- 53:49Speaker 2: Most people just went for black or black and white.
- 53:51Speaker 4: It was like black and white striped theme. If we
- 53:53Speaker 4: watch the show.
- 53:54Speaker 2: Not striped, just black and white.
- 53:56Speaker 4: No, not the outfit, but the decorations at the wedding.
- 53:59Speaker 4: A lot of it was Lauren and. No, yours. Kim's.
- 54:04Speaker 2: No, you know what it was? She thought it was
- 54:07Speaker 2: because it was going to be filmed. I think they
- 54:09Speaker 2: decided that if you say that and you don't want
- 54:11Speaker 2: to say just wear all black, you say black or white,
- 54:14Speaker 2: then the audience, everything just seamlessly looks more attractive.
- 54:18Speaker 4: There's something decorations, though, that were black and white. That
- 54:21Speaker 4: wedding is filmed for the show. I urge everyone to
- 54:23Speaker 4: go back and remember like the back of my hand.
- 54:26Speaker 2: I'm now.
- 54:27Speaker 4: Deeply internally upset that I don't know if I saw
- 54:31Speaker 4: you in the audience. Are you on the episode?
- 54:33Speaker 2: Yes, I am.
- 54:34Speaker 1: Okay.
- 54:35Speaker 2: Yes, I am.
- 54:35Speaker 4: So we can see you and see the strapless white.
- 54:37Speaker 2: Yes. Okay. And then it was like the first time
- 54:39Speaker 2: I had borrowed jewels. Leah Black introduced me to a
- 54:44Speaker 2: guy who got me the borrowed jewels. And then he
- 54:48Speaker 2: had an adoptive son Do you remember this story?
- 54:51Speaker 4: Oh, I remember that guy.
- 54:52Speaker 2: Yeah, like an adoptive son who was already an adult,
- 54:57Speaker 2: which people were questioning if he was a son or
- 55:00Speaker 2: a boyfriend or what.
- 55:01Speaker 4: Because wasn't that guy like a prince or a.
- 55:03Speaker 2: No, the son, then God killed someone. Yes.
- 55:09Speaker 3: Okay.
- 55:09Speaker 2: That's the story. I forgot the name of the jeweler.
- 55:12Speaker 2: The jeweler was not involved in any criminal activity, but
- 55:17Speaker 2: his adult adoptive son... Wow.
- 55:19Speaker 7: Wow.
- 55:20Speaker 2: All in New York, like, killed someone.
- 55:24Speaker 4: And is in jail now. Yeah.
- 55:26Speaker 2: I mean, they know who he is.
- 55:27Speaker 4: Did anyone go with you to guard the jewels?
- 55:30Speaker 2: No, but I had to, like, say I would put
- 55:32Speaker 2: them in a safe at the hotel. I think I
- 55:36Speaker 2: just slept in them.
- 55:37Speaker 4: Were you stressed out?
- 55:39Speaker 2: I was stressed out. Like, two real bracelets and earrings,
- 55:42Speaker 2: I think. I don't think it was a necklace. And then,
- 55:45Speaker 2: so it was great. And so, anyway, Katie Couric. slam
- 55:50Speaker 2: Lauren Sanchez wedding style as outdated, tacky, and a scathing post. Katie,
- 55:54Speaker 2: what the fuck?
- 55:56Speaker 1: Really?
- 55:56Speaker 2: Like, what the fuck? Like, bitter much? Bitter that you
- 56:00Speaker 2: are doing podcasting like the rest of us and you
- 56:02Speaker 2: aren't on TV anymore and Gail and Oprah are dancing
- 56:05Speaker 2: with the Kardashians and Corey? Yeah, you're pissed. You're telling
- 56:09Speaker 2: me if you... were friendly with them and got invited
- 56:13Speaker 2: that anybody would turn it down. Would you guys turn
- 56:16Speaker 2: it down?
- 56:16Speaker 5: Absolutely not.
- 56:16Speaker 2: Are you kidding? No, we would all go.
- 56:19Speaker 5: And I'd be, the only thing to criticize.
- 56:22Speaker 4: I would have gone to Epstein Island.
- 56:24Speaker 5: That's true.
- 56:26Speaker 2: I'm like, what?
- 56:26Speaker 4: A private jet? And how, the clear water?
- 56:29Speaker 2: Okay, I'll be on the beach. I don't, didn't see it,
- 56:32Speaker 2: didn't happen.
- 56:33Speaker 5: In my opinion, the only thing to criticize is that
- 56:36Speaker 5: Jeff Bezos did the thing with Katy Perry. The space thing.
- 56:41Speaker 2: Space, yes.
- 56:41Speaker 5: Which no one was feeling.
- 56:43Speaker 2: Right.
- 56:43Speaker 5: And now he's got a $ 50 million wedding.
- 56:46Speaker 2: No, they said that's not true. There was only 200 people.
- 56:49Speaker 2: So if you do the math, even if they paid
- 56:52Speaker 2: for the jets, maybe if they paid for the jets,
- 56:54Speaker 2: it would go up to $ 50 million. But there's. Probably
- 56:57Speaker 2: it's not $ 50 million.
- 56:57Speaker 4: I doubt they paid for the Jets either. Everyone can
- 56:59Speaker 4: get their own way there.
- 57:00Speaker 2: I don't think they paid for the Jets. I think
- 57:02Speaker 2: it was not $ 50 million. It was probably like $ 20
- 57:05Speaker 2: million or $ 10 million.
- 57:06Speaker 4: And if it was $ 50, I do, and I'm not
- 57:08Speaker 4: defending it at all. I think Jeff Bezos is disgusting,
- 57:10Speaker 4: but I like Lauren Sanchez. I do think many of
- 57:13Speaker 4: the millions did go to Venice, which we do want,
- 57:16Speaker 4: even though, of course, we want his money in America.
- 57:18Speaker 5: But it's right. Which is fine. I'm all for doing
- 57:22Speaker 5: that because they need the conservatory money or whatever for
- 57:26Speaker 5: to rebuild Venice. And if he says he did that,
- 57:28Speaker 5: then that's good. But he's his his facade or his
- 57:32Speaker 5: his reputation right now is not good. So his timing
- 57:37Speaker 5: to do a big, ostentatious wedding was just not great.
- 57:40Speaker 5: On the other hand. Would we go? Obviously. Do I
- 57:44Speaker 5: want to go to Venice?
- 57:45Speaker 2: Yes. On the other hand, she's been with him for
- 57:46Speaker 2: six years. They seem very into each other. She's definitely
- 57:51Speaker 2: one of those women that can– there's certain women that
- 57:54Speaker 2: I just think can hook a guy, multiple guys. And
- 57:57Speaker 2: I think there are women that are like– I mean, look,
- 58:00Speaker 2: he was– I'm sure, you know, his wife Mackenzie and he,
- 58:04Speaker 2: they built it together. They were– I don't think that
- 58:06Speaker 2: she was constantly like– Jeffy! Yeah, let me go get
- 58:11Speaker 2: on my knees.
- 58:12Speaker 6: No.
- 58:13Speaker 2: And, like, all of a sudden, this girl is like,
- 58:15Speaker 2: you're the greatest. You're so fun. And then you have
- 58:18Speaker 2: this whole, like, resurgence of life. And he probably was like,
- 58:21Speaker 2: I am the richest man in the world. I do
- 58:23Speaker 2: deserve a woman that, like, is ready to give a
- 58:25Speaker 2: BJ with enthusiasm.
- 58:27Speaker 7: But sex.
- 58:28Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 58:28Speaker 2: And we're not saying that's the case. But I'm just saying,
- 58:31Speaker 2: I deserve someone to be into me.
- 58:33Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 58:34Speaker 2: And Mackenzie, his wife, deserves someone to be into her. Like,
- 58:37Speaker 2: so it's like, If you can't make it last forever, like,
- 58:41Speaker 2: at least hopefully everybody, if you're rich, can feel like
- 58:44Speaker 2: they got what they deserved in the end.
- 58:46Speaker 5: Yeah, no, we just want them to pay more taxes.
- 58:48Speaker 5: Other than that, like, we loved her. The thing with
- 58:51Speaker 5: her is that, and I didn't know anything about her,
- 58:53Speaker 5: but when I watched the space thing where all of
- 58:56Speaker 5: them just came off awful.
- 58:57Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 58:58Speaker 5: She came off the best.
- 58:59Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 59:00Speaker 6: She did.
- 59:01Speaker 5: She was, like, warm and friendly and welcoming and into
- 59:05Speaker 5: it and bubbly, and she seemed like a really nice, person.
- 59:08Speaker 2: The little exchanges that I had with her back in
- 59:10Speaker 2: the day of her being like a host is that
- 59:15Speaker 2: I was like to Jillian Barbary, why are you, you know, beware,
- 59:20Speaker 2: Lauren Sanchez could replace you in a hot section. Coming
- 59:23Speaker 2: for the ring. Yeah. And Jillian was always... The most
- 59:27Speaker 2: non-jealous girl there was. She's just very– and this is–
- 59:32Speaker 2: and we're talking about people because they were on local
- 59:33Speaker 2: news and stuff.
- 59:34Speaker 4: Yeah, this is– and I just want people to know,
- 59:37Speaker 4: Lauren Sanchez is very Southern California local news coded. Like
- 59:41Speaker 4: those of us who grew up in Southern California, like
- 59:44Speaker 4: we just know her. You don't even know how. She's
- 59:46Speaker 4: just in your zeitgeist.
- 59:47Speaker 2: She really was. Always enthusiastic. Always very complimentary to Jillian.
- 59:53Speaker 2: Always like, hi! So I believe that is the essence
- 59:58Speaker 2: of who she is.
- 1:00:00Speaker 5: And, you know, good for her.
- 1:00:03Speaker 2: And I think that dress is cool. She was having
- 1:00:06Speaker 2: Dolce & Gabbana do it. I wouldn't want a Dolce
- 1:00:08Speaker 2: & Gabbana version like Kourtney's, which was just lingerie. I
- 1:00:12Speaker 2: would be like, if you're doing a dress for me,
- 1:00:14Speaker 2: give me the most expensive, gorgeous... I want the most
- 1:00:17Speaker 2: Italian material there is. And then I'll change into something
- 1:00:21Speaker 2: funny later.
- 1:00:22Speaker 4: Like hand-done lace. And I will say, I don't know
- 1:00:25Speaker 4: if it was a Catholic wedding. I would think maybe
- 1:00:27Speaker 4: it was just since it's in Venice. But even if
- 1:00:29Speaker 4: it wasn't technically a Catholic ceremony, I love it. Because
- 1:00:34Speaker 4: this bitch will put.
- 1:00:35Speaker 2: Her arms out.
- 1:00:36Speaker 4: It doesn't matter if she is in.
- 1:00:38Speaker 2: The Arctic Circle.
- 1:00:39Speaker 4: The arms are buff. The HGH is hitting. And the
- 1:00:44Speaker 4: definition is there. So I was like, I love that
- 1:00:47Speaker 4: she covered like a long-sleeve lace will get me. I
- 1:00:51Speaker 4: love a black long-sleeve lace, too. She did a high neck.
- 1:00:53Speaker 4: She doesn't usually do that stuff. She did the.
- 1:00:55Speaker 2: Best for her body.
- 1:00:56Speaker 4: Her body is tiny waist, nice ass.
- 1:00:59Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:00:59Speaker 5: It was like from getting married in Italy and Italy.
- 1:01:02Speaker 4: They threw a freaking foam party four days before aboard
- 1:01:06Speaker 4: a yacht, like a full foam party where they're all
- 1:01:07Speaker 4: in bikinis. She has a really good body. To do
- 1:01:10Speaker 4: that at her wedding and be demure, I just thought
- 1:01:12Speaker 4: it was a good move. I thought it was very classy,
- 1:01:15Speaker 4: and it was a departure from what they had been
- 1:01:17Speaker 4: wearing the whole week. I was like, it's cool.
- 1:01:19Speaker 5: Not a good look for Katie Couric to slam Lauren Sanchez.
- 1:01:22Speaker 2: You look like such a bitter Betty.
- 1:01:23Speaker 5: You really do.
- 1:01:24Speaker 4: Why don't you go defend Matt Lauer some more? Yeah, really.
- 1:01:28Speaker 2: Exactly. Exactly. OK. So anyway, good for them. Lauren, you
- 1:01:34Speaker 2: didn't invite me, but like invite me to the next thing.
- 1:01:38Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:01:39Speaker 2: OK. P. Diddy. TMZS does a fun poll. Diddy returned
- 1:01:45Speaker 2: to freak off if acquitted in federal trial. So starting Monday,
- 1:01:50Speaker 2: they Friday was the closing arguments for defense. And prosecution,
- 1:01:55Speaker 2: prosecution laid out what, why it was criminal that girls
- 1:02:01Speaker 2: were forced to continue being trafficked and have sex when
- 1:02:06Speaker 2: they were sick, when they objected. And therefore that's forced
- 1:02:10Speaker 2: labor and that makes it all these things that they
- 1:02:13Speaker 2: did wrong. The defense says, no, this was he and Cassie.
- 1:02:20Speaker 2: It was a modern-day love story. That's what the defense
- 1:02:23Speaker 2: said in the closing argument. It was toxic, but it
- 1:02:26Speaker 2: was a modern-day love story. Then the prosecution comes back
- 1:02:29Speaker 2: and goes, a modern-day love story. She had a gash
- 1:02:34Speaker 2: on her head, black eyes, and something else, and was
- 1:02:39Speaker 2: urinated on numerous times. In her mouth. In her mouth.
- 1:02:43Speaker 2: When she didn't want to do it was sick. So
- 1:02:45Speaker 2: that's a modern day. No, it's a modern that the
- 1:02:49Speaker 2: defense said he's a swinger and his swinger lifestyle should
- 1:02:52Speaker 2: not be used against him. And the state, the federal
- 1:02:56Speaker 2: government is coming after him, you know, unrightfully so. And
- 1:03:02Speaker 2: so you should have quit him on all of the charges.
- 1:03:06Speaker 2: And his daughters were there for the closing arguments and
- 1:03:08Speaker 2: they left crying. And so that's where we are with that.
- 1:03:14Speaker 2: So they are deliberating right now.
- 1:03:16Speaker 5: Music swells. The courtroom doors burst open. And who is it?
- 1:03:22Speaker 2: Devin. LaBella.
- 1:03:24Speaker 4: Yep. It's Viva LaBella.
- 1:03:26Speaker 5: Dressed in black, ready to take down. The Avengers. John Wick.
- 1:03:32Speaker 2: The new Avengers.
- 1:03:33Speaker 5: Yeah. I love it.
- 1:03:36Speaker 2: I love it. Well, listen. I think he definitely should
- 1:03:40Speaker 2: be convicted.
- 1:03:42Speaker 4: Please.
- 1:03:42Speaker 5: He should be convicted and thrown down a toilet.
- 1:03:44Speaker 2: My prediction is that he will be convicted of not
- 1:03:47Speaker 2: all but some. And I said this last week. I
- 1:03:52Speaker 2: bet he gets 36 months and gets out in 21.
- 1:03:55Speaker 2: That's what I think. He'll do just under two years.
- 1:03:58Speaker 2: That is my prediction.
- 1:03:59Speaker 4: I was thinking he would get convicted of five and
- 1:04:02Speaker 4: then probably do.
- 1:04:03Speaker 2: Five years?
- 1:04:04Speaker 4: No, I thought he would, yeah, get convicted of five
- 1:04:06Speaker 4: years and then maybe do between two and three.
- 1:04:08Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:04:09Speaker 4: Hopefully. And that's not enough, but I will say he
- 1:04:13Speaker 4: absolutely will go back to free cops because now there's
- 1:04:16Speaker 4: a whole world of, or I should say local because
- 1:04:22Speaker 4: he's not allowed to do international, but the local... sex
- 1:04:25Speaker 4: work community who could be more than happy to go
- 1:04:29Speaker 4: to the orgies, get paid for the consensual work.
- 1:04:33Speaker 2: Now there's no secrets.
- 1:04:34Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 1:04:34Speaker 4: And so now he's going to have people who are interested.
- 1:04:36Speaker 4: We're like, sign a contract.
- 1:04:39Speaker 2: When I checked the TMZ poll, over 80 said that, yes,
- 1:04:43Speaker 2: he would go back to it.
- 1:04:44Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:04:44Speaker 5: A million percent.
- 1:04:45Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:04:45Speaker 4: He's 100%.
- 1:04:46Speaker 6: And.
- 1:04:48Speaker 2: Yeah, here it said that the prosecutors emphasized that Combs
- 1:04:52Speaker 2: used violence, power, and fear to control his victims. They
- 1:04:54Speaker 2: argued that he led a criminal enterprise where he coerced
- 1:04:57Speaker 2: women into performing sex acts and hired men, sometimes under
- 1:05:01Speaker 2: the influence of drugs, and that these actions constitute sex trafficking.
- 1:05:08Speaker 2: They highlighted incidents of coercion, physical altercations, where women felt
- 1:05:13Speaker 2: pressured to participate despite expressing reluctance and they also argued
- 1:05:17Speaker 2: that the women had no reason to lie and that
- 1:05:21Speaker 2: their testimony should really be believed and then the other
- 1:05:23Speaker 2: side was this was just what all these people were
- 1:05:27Speaker 2: into and we shouldn't judge it and.
- 1:05:30Speaker 5: There you go ties together it's just like no one
- 1:05:32Speaker 5: ever wants to believe women about anything about sex it's
- 1:05:35Speaker 5: always going to come back to you know she wanted
- 1:05:39Speaker 5: it or she she did consent or concede or whatever
- 1:05:43Speaker 5: and it's just like Just this whole disgusting, toxic world
- 1:05:47Speaker 5: of coercion. And this is more than coercion. I mean,
- 1:05:52Speaker 5: this is, you know what I mean?
- 1:05:53Speaker 2: Intimidation.
- 1:05:53Speaker 5: Intimidation and threatening and money and power. And it's just like, no,
- 1:05:58Speaker 5: it's time, women. It's time to turn the tables. And
- 1:06:02Speaker 5: that's why.
- 1:06:02Speaker 2: Well, we'll see, hopefully. I'm glad regardless, even if there
- 1:06:09Speaker 2: isn't a conviction, I'm just glad we know all about it.
- 1:06:13Speaker 4: And hopefully there's a lot of civil suits where he
- 1:06:15Speaker 4: loses a.
- 1:06:15Speaker 6: Lot of money.
- 1:06:16Speaker 2: There's a couple new lawsuits that came out that I
- 1:06:18Speaker 2: didn't gather that involve his son and him, new ones.
- 1:06:22Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:06:22Speaker 4: He needs to lose that money.
- 1:06:26Speaker 2: Beyonce was left hanging after a mid-air mishap at the
- 1:06:29Speaker 2: Houston show. So she comes out in a car. People
- 1:06:33Speaker 2: have said it's not a real car. You know, it doesn't.
- 1:06:36Speaker 2: I'm like, you know, it's not like a working car.
- 1:06:38Speaker 2: So maybe it's, I don't know that it's like a.
- 1:06:40Speaker 2: a car that you'd put in your pool? Like, is
- 1:06:42Speaker 2: it like a blow up car?
- 1:06:43Speaker 5: I don't know.
- 1:06:43Speaker 2: But because I'm very scared that it's going to fall
- 1:06:45Speaker 2: on someone's head.
- 1:06:45Speaker 5: Oh, my God.
- 1:06:46Speaker 2: But I guess anyway, she was stuck up there for
- 1:06:49Speaker 2: a while. And, you know, I don't know. I see
- 1:06:53Speaker 2: some of it and I'm like, I'm glad we didn't go.
- 1:06:55Speaker 4: Houston, though, is going to be her big show because
- 1:06:57Speaker 4: that's her hometown. So they probably didn't even care.
- 1:07:00Speaker 2: They probably said she handled it great.
- 1:07:02Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 1:07:03Speaker 2: Let's talk about Real Housewives of Miami. Now, listen, I
- 1:07:06Speaker 2: know the Maybe it's not getting that great of ratings.
- 1:07:10Speaker 2: It is on Peacock and Bravo. I want to talk
- 1:07:15Speaker 2: about one thing. I always like to– when I talk
- 1:07:17Speaker 2: about these shows and you guys don't watch them, I'll
- 1:07:19Speaker 2: put them in a context that you can relate. So
- 1:07:22Speaker 2: there is this one named Gertie. I met her. I
- 1:07:26Speaker 2: like her a lot. And Gertie– and then there's this
- 1:07:29Speaker 2: other girl, Julia, who is married to another woman, Martina Navatero. Tulova. Tulova.
- 1:07:37Speaker 2: And– I never really understood the relationship. It seemed kind
- 1:07:41Speaker 2: of odd. Then Julia, right before she got a facelift said,
- 1:07:46Speaker 2: I want to adopt two kids. I want to adopt
- 1:07:48Speaker 2: some kids. And they were able to get two brothers
- 1:07:51Speaker 2: that are like three and one and a half, which she's,
- 1:07:54Speaker 2: you know, not sharing their images or anything on the show.
- 1:07:57Speaker 2: But so anyway, Gertie and Julia have a problem. And
- 1:08:03Speaker 2: it's because Julia said about a year ago, uh, So
- 1:08:09Speaker 2: Martina wasn't feeling good. She had a cancer scare and
- 1:08:13Speaker 2: she couldn't go to like an influencer type of cruise
- 1:08:15Speaker 2: thing that she was supposed to be there for. Gertie,
- 1:08:19Speaker 2: could you please come with me? And Gertie was like, oh,
- 1:08:22Speaker 2: my God, I just got back from doing that same thing.
- 1:08:24Speaker 2: But yeah, I'll go again. Like, I'll be with you.
- 1:08:27Speaker 2: So you're not alone. And Gertie thought everything was going
- 1:08:31Speaker 2: to be fine when they start filming. And Julia is
- 1:08:35Speaker 2: just being like a complete and total bitch and saying,
- 1:08:38Speaker 2: you came on this trip to further your career and
- 1:08:41Speaker 2: take photos. And then when the one party that you
- 1:08:44Speaker 2: couldn't come to because Martina had been taken off the list,
- 1:08:47Speaker 2: so I didn't have my plus one anymore, you got pissed.
- 1:08:52Speaker 2: But she did get kind of annoyed, but she was
- 1:08:54Speaker 2: still okay with it. So then we watched the scene
- 1:08:58Speaker 2: and this is what I think happened. You can I
- 1:09:00Speaker 2: think Julia was scared that she's on the chopping block
- 1:09:04Speaker 2: to getting fired from Bravo and had this little dispute
- 1:09:09Speaker 2: with Gertie. Let the producers know about it. And they
- 1:09:13Speaker 2: were like, well, when you guys start filming again, you
- 1:09:16Speaker 2: better bring it up and you better bring it up hard.
- 1:09:19Speaker 2: It felt so performative and so fake and so acting.
- 1:09:24Speaker 2: I am team gritty in this one. And yeah, if
- 1:09:27Speaker 2: you went to this thing, of course. And you'd be like,
- 1:09:30Speaker 2: why am I eating by myself? And I'm sure if
- 1:09:32Speaker 2: Julia wanted to bring her again, she could bring another
- 1:09:37Speaker 2: housewife in Martina's space. What are you saying? It wasn't
- 1:09:39Speaker 2: Lauren Sanchez's wedding. It was just another dinner on the
- 1:09:43Speaker 2: fucking cruise ship. So Gertie's like, now I'm like eating
- 1:09:45Speaker 2: by myself across the way. So she was a little annoyed.
- 1:09:47Speaker 4: And it was Captain Sandy's party. I'm sure Captain Sandy
- 1:09:51Speaker 4: would have let Gertie in.
- 1:09:53Speaker 2: Yeah, like, it was so... And then, so then, Julia, like,
- 1:09:57Speaker 2: is throwing water at this other girl's wedding who's now
- 1:10:00Speaker 2: been married four times on camera.
- 1:10:02Speaker 4: Marisol. Yeah.
- 1:10:04Speaker 2: What did you guys think?
- 1:10:05Speaker 5: It was unbelievable. I mean, well, first of all, I
- 1:10:08Speaker 5: just have to say, the thing with Martina is so confusing.
- 1:10:12Speaker 4: Yeah, you talk about Martina.
- 1:10:14Speaker 5: I'll just talk about Martina.
- 1:10:15Speaker 2: Because this is the type of.
- 1:10:16Speaker 5: Thing where I feel like I'm in women's business. Like, I...
- 1:10:20Speaker 5: I don't understand it. I cannot stand Martina. I cannot.
- 1:10:26Speaker 5: She literally makes me feel like sometimes when I feel
- 1:10:28Speaker 5: about the husbands I hate. Like I find her to
- 1:10:32Speaker 5: be dismissive.
- 1:10:34Speaker 2: Yes.
- 1:10:34Speaker 5: Cold, arrogant, like pervy. I don't know if that's not
- 1:10:41Speaker 5: the right word.
- 1:10:41Speaker 4: I don't think she's pervy. Not pervy.
- 1:10:43Speaker 5: What's the word?
- 1:10:43Speaker 6: A little bit.
- 1:10:44Speaker 2: Well, next week they show her getting a lap dance.
- 1:10:46Speaker 5: I mean, a little.
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: Okay.
- 1:10:47Speaker 2: Okay.
- 1:10:47Speaker 5: You know, where she's kind of, you know, like sometimes
- 1:10:49Speaker 5: she walks around like she's.
- 1:10:50Speaker 2: Yeah, like, oh, I like that. Yeah, yeah. Like, yeah.
- 1:10:54Speaker 4: And she is patronizing.
- 1:10:55Speaker 2: Patronizing. She acts above it all.
- 1:10:57Speaker 5: Patronizing. I cannot stand her.
- 1:11:00Speaker 4: Also, with all due, not very attractive. I mean, it
- 1:11:03Speaker 4: might be easy.
- 1:11:04Speaker 2: I mean, she's 65 or whatever.
- 1:11:06Speaker 4: Yeah, well, 65-year-olds are hot. I know, but you're right.
- 1:11:08Speaker 5: Whatever.
- 1:11:09Speaker 4: I think if she was hot, I think we'd, of course,
- 1:11:11Speaker 4: we'd give her a lot more like, well, at least
- 1:11:13Speaker 4: she's sexy.
- 1:11:14Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:11:14Speaker 5: She just makes me, and it, you know, yeah, from
- 1:11:17Speaker 5: Les to Les, I'm just like, why every Les? Gotta
- 1:11:21Speaker 5: be unlikable.
- 1:11:22Speaker 2: I mean, last year, for the first couple years, Julia's
- 1:11:25Speaker 2: whole storyline was taking care of a goat on a
- 1:11:29Speaker 2: whole nother property where Martina wasn't even around.
- 1:11:32Speaker 4: Well, everyone speculated, was she really gay? Was she sleeping
- 1:11:34Speaker 4: with a man? Remember, there was a lot of speculation.
- 1:11:37Speaker 3: Oh, yeah.
- 1:11:37Speaker 2: She had like a boyfriend.
- 1:11:38Speaker 4: So it was always because she'd always been with men before. Now,
- 1:11:41Speaker 4: they've been together for a long time now and they
- 1:11:43Speaker 4: have these kids, but Yeah, her previous thing is, like,
- 1:11:46Speaker 4: working with goats, no facelift. And now, like, to your
- 1:11:48Speaker 4: point— The facelift looks good. She looks great. But she
- 1:11:51Speaker 4: got the housewife, you know, nip and tuck to get
- 1:11:55Speaker 4: it all together. She's wearing, like, her hair slicked back with, like,
- 1:11:58Speaker 4: a huge bracelet and her confessionals. Like, she's stepped it
- 1:12:03Speaker 4: up to be very housewife-y. So I think— I mean, it.
- 1:12:05Speaker 2: Felt like a sketch.
- 1:12:06Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 1:12:07Speaker 2: Where she goes— you know, and Gertie's like, what are
- 1:12:09Speaker 2: you saying? And she's got her fingers in her face.
- 1:12:11Speaker 2: Like literally she, like, and Gertie's not even like, get
- 1:12:14Speaker 2: your fingers out of my face. She's like, what? Like,
- 1:12:16Speaker 2: am I in the twilight zone?
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: It was crazy.
- 1:12:18Speaker 2: And then she just, and then she's like, um, said
- 1:12:22Speaker 2: something like, no, you said this, you know, Julia. And
- 1:12:25Speaker 2: she takes the water and throws it where everybody gets wet.
- 1:12:29Speaker 5: Unreal.
- 1:12:29Speaker 2: And she's like, you're a liar. And it was just like, Strange.
- 1:12:34Speaker 5: It was so strange.
- 1:12:35Speaker 2: I like being a hyena.
- 1:12:37Speaker 5: I like being a hyena.
- 1:12:38Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:12:38Speaker 5: She called her, Gertie said, you're being a hyena.
- 1:12:40Speaker 2: She was going like this.
- 1:12:41Speaker 5: I like being a hyena. I don't mind it.
- 1:12:43Speaker 2: I like it.
- 1:12:44Speaker 5: It was like, what's happening?
- 1:12:46Speaker 4: So what I thought was like, in the first, there's
- 1:12:49Speaker 4: been three episodes.
- 1:12:50Speaker 2: Right.
- 1:12:51Speaker 4: I thought Gertie was, you know, I think she's in
- 1:12:55Speaker 4: a strange place psychologically. I think chemo is super intense.
- 1:12:59Speaker 4: Her body is not back. She's been very open, like
- 1:13:02Speaker 4: with her boobs and whatever's going on. And it just
- 1:13:04Speaker 4: can't be, you know, she's, I'm sure they give you hormones.
- 1:13:07Speaker 4: Who knows? It's breast cancer. So that involves a lot
- 1:13:10Speaker 4: of your hormones. So they're probably giving her these hormones.
- 1:13:14Speaker 4: Hormone replacement therapy can make you like you're on your
- 1:13:17Speaker 4: period and you're 13 again.
- 1:13:19Speaker 2: And you're just like, dad, fuck you or whatever. You
- 1:13:21Speaker 2: know what I mean?
- 1:13:21Speaker 4: She's got these high emotions. And she was coming in
- 1:13:24Speaker 4: the first few episodes being really a lot. Just not
- 1:13:28Speaker 4: in terms of negative. She was just in every scene.
- 1:13:31Speaker 4: She was louder than everyone. She was just being very extra.
- 1:13:36Speaker 4: And then the model.
- 1:13:38Speaker 5: The other model has this kiki.
- 1:13:39Speaker 2: Kiki.
- 1:13:40Speaker 4: Tells her. She basically tells her, like, well, everyone's just
- 1:13:43Speaker 4: kind of annoyed because you're being very extra in every
- 1:13:46Speaker 4: scene we do. Like, just take it down a notch
- 1:13:48Speaker 4: so that we're all just. Because she was seeming performative, too,
- 1:13:51Speaker 4: but more performative in, like, a fun way. Like, really
- 1:13:55Speaker 4: aggressively sort of covering up whatever, maybe her insecurities or...
- 1:13:59Speaker 4: For whatever reason, it was like, you're having a little
- 1:14:00Speaker 4: too much fun. Like, let's tone this down.
- 1:14:02Speaker 2: But, I mean, I have hung out with her, and
- 1:14:03Speaker 2: she does act like that.
- 1:14:04Speaker 6: Okay, well, good.
- 1:14:05Speaker 2: She is like, oh, look at here. She is like that. Okay. Like,
- 1:14:08Speaker 2: that is her personality. But still, yeah, I think they all, like,
- 1:14:12Speaker 2: were coming in... Too hot. Yeah. Like, it's like, I
- 1:14:15Speaker 2: get it, you know? You're... You put all this on
- 1:14:19Speaker 2: the line. If it doesn't last for a while, if
- 1:14:21Speaker 2: you don't get money or a job from it, what
- 1:14:23Speaker 2: did you do it for? I was going to say,
- 1:14:25Speaker 2: you know, so then they're throwing these parties. I know
- 1:14:29Speaker 2: that they pay for those parties themselves, whether it's their
- 1:14:33Speaker 2: kid party or baby shower. If I'm throwing you a party,
- 1:14:37Speaker 2: not the trips, but if I'm throwing you a party,
- 1:14:40Speaker 2: you know, I pay for that, even though it's filmed.
- 1:14:44Speaker 2: Come on, Bravo. Like, come on. Like, how can there
- 1:14:48Speaker 2: not be something like we're going to match it?
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: Of course.
- 1:14:51Speaker 2: Or something. There should be something like, if you spend
- 1:14:53Speaker 2: two grand, we'll match to offset that. Because we want
- 1:14:57Speaker 2: you guys to have events.
- 1:14:58Speaker 4: And especially since we're going to make them have a
- 1:15:01Speaker 4: huge fight at your damn wedding. At least give me $ 3, 000
- 1:15:05Speaker 4: for the wedding.
- 1:15:06Speaker 2: I mean, I was just like, oh, my God.
- 1:15:09Speaker 4: So what I thought was that Gertie was sort of
- 1:15:11Speaker 4: primed to– just because of the eye roll cringe of
- 1:15:16Speaker 4: her behavior, she was headed to being the least liked one.
- 1:15:21Speaker 4: But then Julia swooped in and just took it, and
- 1:15:23Speaker 4: there is no going back for her now. No one
- 1:15:27Speaker 4: can stand her after that. She just was insufferable, performative.
- 1:15:32Speaker 4: Gertie got water splashed on her, which is so humiliating.
- 1:15:36Speaker 2: And she's bald.
- 1:15:36Speaker 4: It's dripping down her head. Her hair's short. The way
- 1:15:40Speaker 4: she just took all of that so gracefully... And it
- 1:15:43Speaker 4: just makes.
- 1:15:44Speaker 2: No sense why Julia was mad. I brought you on
- 1:15:47Speaker 2: an event and you met people and took photos at
- 1:15:50Speaker 2: a Bravo party. What is wrong with that?
- 1:15:53Speaker 5: It didn't even make sense why she was so mad
- 1:15:54Speaker 5: about the Zoom.
- 1:15:55Speaker 4: The Zoom call.
- 1:15:56Speaker 5: I didn't even understand that, which started the whole thing.
- 1:15:59Speaker 2: They did a Zoom. She goes, I'm going to do
- 1:16:00Speaker 2: a Zoom call with all the girls that they're filming
- 1:16:02Speaker 2: for the show to tell everyone at the same time
- 1:16:04Speaker 2: that we were successful in adopting these two little boys.
- 1:16:07Speaker 2: And Gertie couldn't get on Zoom. I've had trouble getting
- 1:16:11Speaker 2: on Zoom sometimes. And then she had to go to work.
- 1:16:13Speaker 2: She said she had to go to work. She's like, sorry,
- 1:16:14Speaker 2: I had to go to work.
- 1:16:15Speaker 5: I tried logging in. Sorry.
- 1:16:16Speaker 4: Julia was late. Julia was late.
- 1:16:18Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:16:18Speaker 2: And she didn't know that the Zoom was this big news.
- 1:16:20Speaker 2: She just was like, I missed the Zoom. What was it?
- 1:16:22Speaker 2: And she's like, you'll find out with the rest of
- 1:16:24Speaker 2: the world.
- 1:16:25Speaker 5: And then she made it like, and then now she's
- 1:16:27Speaker 5: talking to Martina. And well, what did she say? Oh,
- 1:16:30Speaker 5: she just said, congratulations.
- 1:16:32Speaker 2: Yeah, she just wrote congratulations like in a cold way.
- 1:16:34Speaker 2: I'm like, it's a text. It was clear that they
- 1:16:37Speaker 2: were like, listen, we've got to have something more going
- 1:16:40Speaker 2: on than the goats. And since we're not going to
- 1:16:42Speaker 2: share the actual cute children, what do we got? So
- 1:16:47Speaker 2: you better have fights with some of these women and
- 1:16:49Speaker 2: you better make a mountain out of a molehill. That
- 1:16:52Speaker 2: happened literally a year ago. And so I love that
- 1:16:54Speaker 2: Gertie was like, it happened a year ago, but now
- 1:16:59Speaker 2: we're filming. So now we have to bring it up.
- 1:17:02Speaker 2: Just like in the Valley, the incident with Danny Zuko,
- 1:17:07Speaker 2: whatever his name is.
- 1:17:08Speaker 4: Every time, Heather.
- 1:17:09Speaker 2: Grabbing a lesbian woman. The lesbian's butt and making a
- 1:17:15Speaker 2: funny reference when he was drunk happened when they were
- 1:17:18Speaker 2: not filming. And it was like, save this tidbit to
- 1:17:22Speaker 2: bring it on.
- 1:17:23Speaker 5: Well, I can't believe I was duped by that, too.
- 1:17:26Speaker 5: I'm not with him. I'm with her. I mean, duped.
- 1:17:30Speaker 5: You enlightened me. She was on Bachelor looking for a boyfriend.
- 1:17:32Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:17:33Speaker 5: There are no lesbians.
- 1:17:34Speaker 2: I'm convinced.
- 1:17:35Speaker 4: She was on Bachelor with Nick Viall.
- 1:17:37Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:17:37Speaker 4: Trying to get with Nick Viall.
- 1:17:39Speaker 8: Right.
- 1:17:39Speaker 4: So that wasn't that long ago.
- 1:17:41Speaker 6: No. No.
- 1:17:42Speaker 4: Julie gets upset right now. She's very sensitive, you guys,
- 1:17:45Speaker 4: because of JoJo Siwa and Billie Eilish. All the lesbians
- 1:17:48Speaker 4: are turning back to you guys.
- 1:17:49Speaker 2: Wait, is Billie Eilish back to a guy? When did
- 1:17:51Speaker 2: that happen? Allegedly.
- 1:17:52Speaker 4: Probably two weeks ago. But it was during your birthday month,
- 1:17:56Speaker 4: so you don't have to know about it. But Julie
- 1:18:00Speaker 4: is on one, so.
- 1:18:03Speaker 5: You know what?
- 1:18:03Speaker 4: You know what?
- 1:18:04Speaker 5: The last thing I want to hear from my own
- 1:18:06Speaker 5: mother is, look, all that to say I told you so.
- 1:18:09Speaker 2: I don't want to hear it.
- 1:18:10Speaker 5: I don't want to hear it. Julie, grow your hair out.
- 1:18:14Speaker 5: Jojo Siwa did it. I can't. I can't. I can't.
- 1:18:19Speaker 5: I don't know what to say.
- 1:18:21Speaker 4: I want to say really quick about that. Really quick.
- 1:18:23Speaker 4: This is important to me about the Gertie, Julia thing,
- 1:18:27Speaker 4: because this happens in friend groups where you're all sort
- 1:18:30Speaker 4: of in the same business. Julia made it sound like
- 1:18:33Speaker 4: Gertie went on this trip and was doing her business contacts. Now, Gertie.
- 1:18:38Speaker 4: I think is the one who has, she has an event.
- 1:18:42Speaker 2: Very successful. Yeah, she was a full wedding planner event
- 1:18:45Speaker 2: planner for 20 years before this show came along.
- 1:18:48Speaker 4: Extremely successful.
- 1:18:50Speaker 5: Wealthy.
- 1:18:51Speaker 4: The business is very successful. So when you hear that
- 1:18:53Speaker 4: from Julia, it's like, oh, she's on the cruise, this
- 1:18:56Speaker 4: whatever type of cruise. selling her event planning business.
- 1:18:59Speaker 2: What if the crews.
- 1:19:00Speaker 5: Had lost electricity?
- 1:19:03Speaker 2: Then it would be like, and then, and then Gertie
- 1:19:07Speaker 2: just takes her poop bag and threw it at Captain Sandy.
- 1:19:12Speaker 2: She tried to throw an overboard and it blew back
- 1:19:14Speaker 2: and hit me.
- 1:19:15Speaker 4: Then I would say, then.
- 1:19:16Speaker 2: I go, Julia, you have a right to be mad
- 1:19:18Speaker 2: a year later.
- 1:19:19Speaker 4: But then it turns out this is a freaking like
- 1:19:22Speaker 4: Bravo poop cruise where they're bringing on the poopiest of
- 1:19:26Speaker 4: the Bravo celebrities where it's Captain Sandy and whoever. And
- 1:19:30Speaker 4: Jordi's thinking, I just got back. I already met whichever
- 1:19:33Speaker 4: Bravo celebrities were on my.
- 1:19:35Speaker 5: cruise.
- 1:19:36Speaker 4: So like whoever it is, it's freaking Zach and it's
- 1:19:38Speaker 4: freaking whoever. She met them all. Now Gertie goes, come
- 1:19:42Speaker 4: with me on the next Bravo one. And she's like, oh, cool.
- 1:19:44Speaker 4: I'll meet the next six people. It's Teresa. It's Captain Sandy.
- 1:19:48Speaker 4: It's somebody from the OC. It's freaking Tamara. And so
- 1:19:52Speaker 4: of course, Gertie's like, well, yeah, I'm going to go.
- 1:19:54Speaker 4: If I have to spend a week on a cruise,
- 1:19:56Speaker 4: I'm going to go meet the Bravo people because But
- 1:19:58Speaker 4: then now I'm going to know if I go on
- 1:19:59Speaker 4: the Watch What Happens Live with them or whatever. She
- 1:20:01Speaker 4: wasn't selling her business. She was meeting other people on Bravo, which,
- 1:20:04Speaker 4: of course, she's going to do. Otherwise, why go and
- 1:20:08Speaker 4: listen to Julia's annoying accent for a week?
- 1:20:10Speaker 2: I mean, she lost it.
- 1:20:11Speaker 5: Why is Julia there? She's not there to talk about goats.
- 1:20:13Speaker 4: That's right.
- 1:20:14Speaker 5: She didn't go on a goat cruise.
- 1:20:15Speaker 2: So they're going on this one. They're going to Hawaii.
- 1:20:17Speaker 2: On the Valley. Because we know that Luke is going
- 1:20:20Speaker 2: to ask Kristen to marry him. And we know that
- 1:20:25Speaker 2: that's a successful thing because they are– I don't know
- 1:20:28Speaker 2: if they got married, but they had the baby. They
- 1:20:29Speaker 2: had their little girl. So we find out she's trying
- 1:20:32Speaker 2: to still get pregnant at this point. So this is, again,
- 1:20:34Speaker 2: all shot like nine months to a year ago. And
- 1:20:38Speaker 2: I don't even remember. I think I've attempted to watch
- 1:20:40Speaker 2: this episode like a couple times. It was pretty uneventful,
- 1:20:44Speaker 2: wasn't it? I don't even remember if anything juicy happened.
- 1:20:47Speaker 2: In Hawaii? Yeah. Yeah.
- 1:20:49Speaker 4: Well, basically Janet and Jason and Danny Zuko and gorgeous.
- 1:20:57Speaker 2: I think Janet's was being a bit much too at
- 1:21:00Speaker 2: the lunch scene.
- 1:21:01Speaker 5: Well, that was the thing, right? I think she was.
- 1:21:03Speaker 2: Pulling a Julia a little bit.
- 1:21:05Speaker 4: Yeah, well, she said she had too much to drink.
- 1:21:06Speaker 4: And then the best part about this episode was that Mia, Nia,
- 1:21:12Speaker 4: Nia's the most beautiful woman in the world. So she's
- 1:21:15Speaker 4: there looking in the water with these glasses.
- 1:21:18Speaker 2: And this hat.
- 1:21:18Speaker 4: And I'm just like, could this woman get any more beautiful?
- 1:21:21Speaker 4: And they're with Danny Zuko and then Jason and Janet.
- 1:21:24Speaker 4: And Janet's like, I'm sorry about the lunch at El Coyote.
- 1:21:30Speaker 4: I had way too much to drink. And then Nia's like, Oh,
- 1:21:34Speaker 4: so early in the day?
- 1:21:35Speaker 3: Oh.
- 1:21:37Speaker 2: And like, that's good.
- 1:21:38Speaker 4: Aren't you the coat check girl? We'll check it, bitch.
- 1:21:41Speaker 5: Okay?
- 1:21:42Speaker 4: She checked her so hard into the closet to never
- 1:21:45Speaker 4: be fined the coat again. Like, it was so good.
- 1:21:48Speaker 2: And then Bravo didn't even like highlight it enough.
- 1:21:51Speaker 4: I was like, she needed to be freeze-framed and needed
- 1:21:54Speaker 4: to go, oh. The read of the century. Like, we've
- 1:21:57Speaker 4: been listening to Janet, who we love personally. Yeah. I mean,
- 1:22:00Speaker 4: we really do, like, like Janet a lot. She's one
- 1:22:02Speaker 4: of those people I know she's the villain or whatever.
- 1:22:04Speaker 4: But she, Nia checked her so hard the way a
- 1:22:08Speaker 4: Christian woman does.
- 1:22:10Speaker 2: Right.
- 1:22:10Speaker 5: You know what I mean?
- 1:22:11Speaker 4: Didn't have to cuss, didn't have to raise her voice.
- 1:22:14Speaker 4: Just said, oh, so early in the day because they've
- 1:22:16Speaker 4: been going in on his drinking like.
- 1:22:18Speaker 5: Like crazy.
- 1:22:18Speaker 8: Like crazy.
- 1:22:19Speaker 5: Like crazy.
- 1:22:20Speaker 2: And it's... Yeah.
- 1:22:21Speaker 4: But they did... Did they do the thing with Jax where, like,
- 1:22:23Speaker 4: they cried with the life coach? That was pretty intense.
- 1:22:26Speaker 5: Oh, the men's group.
- 1:22:27Speaker 2: Yeah, the men's group.
- 1:22:28Speaker 5: The crying.
- 1:22:29Speaker 2: Yeah, the men's group guy. That was kind of good.
- 1:22:33Speaker 5: I do enjoy a men's group, I will say.
- 1:22:35Speaker 2: That was a good scene.
- 1:22:36Speaker 5: I really enjoy... That was a good scene. It gave me, like, Louis,
- 1:22:40Speaker 5: that whole thing.
- 1:22:40Speaker 2: Oh, when you went to Laguna with that guy.
- 1:22:42Speaker 5: And I have to say, regardless of how whatever... My
- 1:22:47Speaker 5: cold heart to men does loosen because I go, you
- 1:22:50Speaker 5: know what? They're trying.
- 1:22:51Speaker 2: Yes, they're trying.
- 1:22:52Speaker 5: And I want to give credit where credit's due and
- 1:22:54Speaker 5: they deserve it.
- 1:22:55Speaker 2: Well, Charlize Theron said on Watch Homes Live that she
- 1:23:01Speaker 2: went to Jax's and couldn't catch a buzz and thought
- 1:23:05Speaker 2: that maybe the liquor was watered down. I don't think
- 1:23:09Speaker 2: that's a cool thing to say. He's not the only
- 1:23:12Speaker 2: owner that's kind of saying a lot about Anybody that
- 1:23:16Speaker 2: works there, any bartender, whatever. She also was nasty about
- 1:23:19Speaker 2: the Lauren Sanchez wedding.
- 1:23:21Speaker 4: What'd she say?
- 1:23:22Speaker 2: I just saw a headline, so I'm not sure.
- 1:23:24Speaker 4: If I walked into Jax's and saw Charlize Theron there,
- 1:23:26Speaker 4: I would expire on the spot. Okay? I would immediately
- 1:23:30Speaker 4: drop dead. That is, I thought it was iconic that
- 1:23:33Speaker 4: she said that. I thought she dropped the name of
- 1:23:35Speaker 4: his bar sitting there. I doubt you, it probably wasn't
- 1:23:37Speaker 4: even true that she even went there. But if she did, listen,
- 1:23:40Speaker 4: when drinks are watered down and you love a stiff drink,
- 1:23:43Speaker 4: it's upsetting. Speaking as someone who knows when they can't
- 1:23:47Speaker 4: catch the buzz and will immediately be like, they watered
- 1:23:49Speaker 4: this down. But it's a common thing at bars. That's
- 1:23:52Speaker 4: why it's always better to just get wine or beer
- 1:23:54Speaker 4: anyways when you're out. But I thought it was cool
- 1:23:57Speaker 4: because she dropped the name of his bar and is like,
- 1:23:59Speaker 4: like A-list people are.
- 1:24:00Speaker 5: Going to Jackson.
- 1:24:01Speaker 2: Or you have to watch it. Like Drake told me
- 1:24:04Speaker 2: about Chipotle, like that there's a Chipotle thing going around,
- 1:24:08Speaker 2: like not to like order it. For pickup, be there
- 1:24:13Speaker 2: to watch it because they'll give you more food because
- 1:24:15Speaker 2: you're watching them. So maybe when you're getting your drinks made,
- 1:24:19Speaker 2: you kind of need to like watch the bartender do
- 1:24:21Speaker 2: the whole shot.
- 1:24:22Speaker 5: Like what you're putting in there.
- 1:24:23Speaker 2: For the tequila or whatever and make sure that you're
- 1:24:26Speaker 2: getting your– I don't know.
- 1:24:28Speaker 4: I have a theory about– this is from like doing cruises.
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: Yes.
- 1:24:31Speaker 4: The cruises we do– They can still be a poop
- 1:24:34Speaker 4: cruise eventually, but they are very upscale.
- 1:24:36Speaker 5: They are called super yachts. Okay. Okay.
- 1:24:39Speaker 4: So all the liquors included.
- 1:24:40Speaker 2: Yes.
- 1:24:41Speaker 4: Nice. Which is why we were whiskey girls. Now, a
- 1:24:45Speaker 4: lot of times I do get paranoid. I would rather
- 1:24:49Speaker 4: have a shot of vodka and then carry around a
- 1:24:51Speaker 4: water where I'll get ice water and then I'll put
- 1:24:54Speaker 4: like tahini on the rim and then it'll look like–
- 1:24:57Speaker 4: so I'm just like hydrating and it'll look like I
- 1:24:59Speaker 4: have a drink, but I just did the shot of vodka.
- 1:25:01Speaker 4: So when you do a shot of vodka, you can
- 1:25:02Speaker 4: tell if it's watered down. So what I think is
- 1:25:04Speaker 4: that sometimes the bartenders, and I'm not saying this about Jax's,
- 1:25:07Speaker 4: and we've been to Jax's, and I got plenty drunk,
- 1:25:09Speaker 4: so I don't know what's doing with Charlize, but I
- 1:25:12Speaker 4: got way too drunk there. I think sometimes the bartenders
- 1:25:15Speaker 4: are doing shots secretly, and then they're putting water into
- 1:25:19Speaker 4: the vodka so that the owners can't see that, you know,
- 1:25:24Speaker 4: maybe just one or two, how it gets a little
- 1:25:26Speaker 4: bit watered down, you know, but who knows? I've never
- 1:25:28Speaker 4: been a bartender. I don't think it's like... The owners
- 1:25:32Speaker 4: being like, let's fill up our vodka with water or whatever.
- 1:25:37Speaker 4: But yeah, and then I guess sometimes they'll be weak.
- 1:25:39Speaker 4: That's why people who do martinis, sometimes they'll get their
- 1:25:42Speaker 4: olive juice on the side. I mean, these are just
- 1:25:44Speaker 4: tricks of the trade for the people who enjoy drinking.
- 1:25:47Speaker 2: Well, really quick, last story is this girl, Brandy, what's
- 1:25:53Speaker 2: her name? Rachel Lindsay. She was a bachelorette, got married,
- 1:25:59Speaker 2: and they broke up. And the Los Angeles judge has
- 1:26:02Speaker 2: ordered her to pay him $ 13, 000 and change a month.
- 1:26:10Speaker 2: He had asked for $ 16, 000. Here's the full breakdown of it.
- 1:26:15Speaker 2: So she was ordered to pay her ex-husband $ 13, 000 a month.
- 1:26:20Speaker 2: And then Rachel was required to also pay $ 15, 000 of
- 1:26:24Speaker 2: his legal fees, an additional $ 5, 000 towards forensic accounting. This
- 1:26:29Speaker 2: temporary support arrangement was part of the divorce. The support
- 1:26:33Speaker 2: payments totaled $ 39, 771 by the final settlement. They weren't married
- 1:26:38Speaker 2: that long, so the total that she had to pay
- 1:26:41Speaker 2: was that. But then it says she no longer owes
- 1:26:43Speaker 2: him monthly payments because she agreed to make a one-time
- 1:26:46Speaker 2: payment of $ 500, 000. What? For what? She had to give
- 1:26:49Speaker 2: him $ 500, 000, and then the monthly payments added up to $ 39, 000.
- 1:27:00Speaker 2: So the remaining– she owes– because she hasn't given the $ 500, 000.
- 1:27:03Speaker 2: She owes $ 460, 000 by January 26th. She owes $ 460, 000 by
- 1:27:10Speaker 2: January of 26th.
- 1:27:11Speaker 4: How long was she supposed to pay the.
- 1:27:14Speaker 2: $ 39, 000? Probably just half– Ten years? No. If they were
- 1:27:19Speaker 2: married for three, then she would have to pay whatever
- 1:27:21Speaker 2: amount for 18 months. So it's always– payments are half
- 1:27:28Speaker 2: of the amount of time. That you were married.
- 1:27:30Speaker 5: Does he not have a job? Does he not have
- 1:27:33Speaker 5: a way to make money?
- 1:27:34Speaker 2: So she's like, I'm being punished for being successful. So
- 1:27:36Speaker 2: I'm guessing, you know, she probably had some lucrative deals
- 1:27:40Speaker 2: coming off of The Bachelor. I know that she was
- 1:27:42Speaker 2: doing a lot of TV, podcasting, whatever. So she must
- 1:27:45Speaker 2: have had some lucrative years during the time that she
- 1:27:49Speaker 2: was married to him. And there's just no way getting
- 1:27:52Speaker 2: around it. She made that big money while they were together.
- 1:27:56Speaker 5: Well, he didn't need to ask for it.
- 1:27:57Speaker 3: Right.
- 1:27:57Speaker 2: And if the roles were reversed, if it was you
- 1:28:01Speaker 2: married the bachelor and you guys did all this stuff
- 1:28:04Speaker 2: and he was, you know, and it was, you know, whatever,
- 1:28:08Speaker 2: that guy made a lot of money, then she would
- 1:28:10Speaker 2: be able to do it. But this is why you
- 1:28:13Speaker 2: get a prenup.
- 1:28:14Speaker 4: $ 40, 000, let's say. That's why everyone should have a prenup.
- 1:28:17Speaker 4: Times 10.
- 1:28:18Speaker 2: Because you don't know what will come next.
- 1:28:20Speaker 5: Not even Britney asked for anything from Jax and they
- 1:28:23Speaker 5: were together 10 years. They wanted an amicable breakup. This
- 1:28:26Speaker 5: guy wants $ 500, 000 because he was with her for three
- 1:28:29Speaker 5: years when they got together. I mean, this is where
- 1:28:32Speaker 5: I guess I am old and weirdly traditional. I think
- 1:28:35Speaker 5: that is a disgusting look for him. I think it's gross.
- 1:28:38Speaker 5: I think as a man.
- 1:28:39Speaker 2: I mean, when there's no kids– No kids. You're disgusting.
- 1:28:42Speaker 2: I don't care if you're gay, lesbian. If one– if
- 1:28:45Speaker 2: you were married for, like, less than five years and
- 1:28:49Speaker 2: you had no kids– Well, you go away. Like– You
- 1:28:53Speaker 2: didn't give away your whole life. You're not Mackenzie Bezos.
- 1:28:57Speaker 2: You know, you're not. No. Like, it's like, come on.
- 1:29:00Speaker 4: Go about your business.
- 1:29:02Speaker 2: And I don't know that she's got the ability to
- 1:29:04Speaker 2: make that money up again. Because it's like the Bachelor
- 1:29:08Speaker 2: people have like a small window. Either you totally pop
- 1:29:11Speaker 2: or you don't.
- 1:29:11Speaker 6: Isn't she on E?
- 1:29:12Speaker 4: She's on E or extra.
- 1:29:12Speaker 2: I mean, she's very appealing. So, like, I hope it
- 1:29:15Speaker 2: works out. But I'm just saying, you know, these things–
- 1:29:17Speaker 2: it doesn't mean you're going to be making that, you know,
- 1:29:19Speaker 2: a million dollars a year financially. Five years from now,
- 1:29:22Speaker 2: you made it the first couple years of coming off
- 1:29:24Speaker 2: the show.
- 1:29:26Speaker 4: If it was $ 40, 000, we'll just make it.
- 1:29:27Speaker 2: But maybe it was stuff that they did together. I
- 1:29:29Speaker 2: don't know.
- 1:29:30Speaker 4: Let's make it $ 40, 000 a month because it's $ 39, 771. $ 40, 000
- 1:29:30Speaker 4: a month in 10 months, that's $ 400, 000. So even if
- 1:29:32Speaker 4: she was supposed to do it for 24 months, by
- 1:29:33Speaker 4: her paying like $ 460, 000 or whatever, she's saving her own
- 1:29:35Speaker 4: self money.
- 1:29:47Speaker 5: I guess that's why she agreed.
- 1:29:48Speaker 2: Well, he's a douche.
- 1:29:48Speaker 5: I'm not into it. I don't care. I'm like not
- 1:29:50Speaker 5: into that.
- 1:29:50Speaker 2: But I'm just saying that's why she.
- 1:29:52Speaker 4: Took that huge because that's a staggering amount of money.
- 1:29:54Speaker 5: You're together for three years or whatever and you're asking
- 1:29:57Speaker 5: for $ 500, 000? You're a loser.
- 1:29:57Speaker 2: Brian Aspasolo is his name. Brian Asasolo. Abasolo.
- 1:30:04Speaker 5: But you know what?
- 1:30:04Speaker 4: Your ass is solo now, Brian. So good luck and
- 1:30:07Speaker 4: nobody's going to.
- 1:30:07Speaker 2: Want to marry you. He should start a podcast with
- 1:30:10Speaker 2: Bethany Frankel's ex.
- 1:30:12Speaker 4: Exactly.
- 1:30:13Speaker 5: Yeah, exactly.
- 1:30:14Speaker 4: He's an embarrassment.
- 1:30:16Speaker 5: That's embarrassing.
- 1:30:17Speaker 2: It should be called two assholes in.
- 1:30:22Speaker 8: A pod.
- 1:30:24Speaker 2: Two ex-asshole husbands in a pod is what they should
- 1:30:27Speaker 2: call it.
- 1:30:27Speaker 5: That's good.
- 1:30:28Speaker 2: A gold digger. What a loser.
- 1:30:29Speaker 5: I mean, that's just loser behavior. That is just loser. Sir,
- 1:30:34Speaker 5: that is just loser behavior. Now, if we had a
- 1:30:37Speaker 5: business and I'm going to take half the business we
- 1:30:39Speaker 5: built together and you can do your accounting, fine. Everyone
- 1:30:41Speaker 5: deserves equality. But this, no, no. He's being a, that's gross.
- 1:30:46Speaker 4: Well, girls.
- 1:30:46Speaker 5: What a loser.
- 1:30:47Speaker 2: Tell us what is going on for the rest of
- 1:30:50Speaker 2: your lives.
- 1:30:52Speaker 5: Well, we are going to embark on another little six-week stint.
- 1:30:58Speaker 5: So we're going to Denver where we're working on, I
- 1:31:01Speaker 5: don't know if you remember, the show in Portland we
- 1:31:03Speaker 5: did was called Killer Burlesque. They've now changed the name.
- 1:31:06Speaker 5: It's called A Nightmare on Strip Street.
- 1:31:08Speaker 6: Okay.
- 1:31:09Speaker 5: I like that. And so it is basically like a
- 1:31:12Speaker 5: horror movie themed, like 80s movie, horror movie themed, sexy
- 1:31:18Speaker 5: dance comedy show.
- 1:31:20Speaker 4: So it's by the producers of The Empire Strips Back,
- 1:31:24Speaker 4: which is a worldwide like a phenomenon where you go
- 1:31:27Speaker 4: and watch, you know, girls dance sexy.
- 1:31:30Speaker 5: As stormtroopers.
- 1:31:32Speaker 4: You know, burlesque, like meaning, just meaning they go down
- 1:31:35Speaker 4: to pasties and they're, you know, dancing around like that.
- 1:31:38Speaker 4: Plane thing. What's it called?
- 1:31:40Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:31:41Speaker 5: The, like, the land stuff.
- 1:31:42Speaker 4: Millennium Falcon or whatever. Then Jabba the Hutt. It's big,
- 1:31:46Speaker 4: huge set pieces. And now it's anything, you know, Freddy,
- 1:31:50Speaker 4: you know, Freddy Krueger.
- 1:31:51Speaker 5: Hellraiser.
- 1:31:52Speaker 4: Chucky. And it's sexy, sexy, sexy. Amazing. Really fun. Julie
- 1:31:56Speaker 4: hosts the whole thing. We have, like, a, you know, like,
- 1:31:59Speaker 4: a 10-minute bit that we do that is also funny
- 1:32:03Speaker 4: and sexy. And we're going to be in Denver doing that, like,
- 1:32:07Speaker 4: five nights a week.
- 1:32:09Speaker 5: So people can come to that. It's at the Arch Theater.
- 1:32:11Speaker 5: You can go to Fever. You can only get tickets
- 1:32:15Speaker 5: on Fever, that app Fever, and it's a nightmare on
- 1:32:17Speaker 5: Strip Street. But we're going to still be doing our
- 1:32:19Speaker 5: Patreon on the road. We've got to keep doing it.
- 1:32:22Speaker 4: Patreon travel episodes. We're driving there. We're seeing the Grand Canyon.
- 1:32:28Speaker 2: We're doing all the things.
- 1:32:29Speaker 5: Two cats and all of our animals are going in
- 1:32:30Speaker 5: the car, and we're driving to Denver.
- 1:32:32Speaker 2: Well, and then, yeah, maybe I'll come out for a
- 1:32:36Speaker 2: couple days.
- 1:32:37Speaker 5: Hopefully Heather will come out.
- 1:32:39Speaker 4: We're doing a girls thing regardless whether it's in August
- 1:32:42Speaker 4: when we get back, and then we're going to have BravoCon.
- 1:32:46Speaker 4: But go to our Patreon, just Julie and Brandi Patreon.
- 1:32:48Speaker 4: You can Google it, and our regular podcast is liberal
- 1:32:52Speaker 4: politics just raging out, having fun with the Supreme Court
- 1:33:00Speaker 4: and the whole thing.
- 1:33:02Speaker 5: I would definitely say currently right now we've left the
- 1:33:05Speaker 5: middle and have gone– But.
- 1:33:07Speaker 4: Do our Patreon. Our Patreon's not politics. No.
- 1:33:10Speaker 5: So check that out.
- 1:33:11Speaker 2: Love you guys. Of course, go to HeatherMcDonald.net to get
- 1:33:15Speaker 2: my Patreon and also the tickets to the show that
- 1:33:18Speaker 2: will probably be sold out very soon. So get it
- 1:33:21Speaker 2: for the BravaCon show with us girls and everybody else.
- 1:33:25Speaker 2: It's funny that I know that you just go get it.
- 1:33:28Speaker 5: Thank you.
- 1:33:28Speaker 4: Love you.
- 1:33:28Speaker 2: Bye. They think you're done for the day, but they
- 1:33:33Speaker 2: don't know about the drawer. The drawer.
- 1:33:38Speaker 4: Just the one square before bed.
- 1:33:41Speaker 2: Or two, you know. Nobody's watching. You deserve a treat.
- 1:33:49Speaker 2: With eight flavours to choose from, you can choose the
- 1:33:52Speaker 2: flavour you favour with Cadbury Dairy Milk.
