Latest / Tea Time w/Amie & Bev / Episode #275: They Should Know Me by Now
Transcript
- 0:02Speaker 1: Welcome to tea time with amen, beab stepsister.
- 0:07Speaker 2: I would say, not a whole lot, but there's always
- 0:09Speaker 2: a whole lot going on. Do what pants on fire? Yes,
- 0:18Speaker 2: it really happens, that actually happened. You know what this
- 0:22Speaker 2: world would be like, it'd be a bunch of under
- 0:28Speaker 2: dressed people.
- 0:29Speaker 1: Yeah, for sure. We would just say, you know, I forget,
- 0:32Speaker 1: I'm not wearing I'm not wearing anything on my body.
- 0:35Speaker 1: That's right.
- 0:36Speaker 3: Oh, I see you did a liar liar today though,
- 0:38Speaker 3: I just chose not to wear pants, thank you.
- 0:40Speaker 1: Yeah, just avoiding the whole thing, that's right.
- 0:43Speaker 2: That's right.
- 0:45Speaker 3: What I was thinking about is in relationships, and I've
- 0:47Speaker 3: been in a relationship with my current relationships.
- 0:50Speaker 2: We've been in it for I think five years. We've
- 0:53Speaker 2: been friends for like seven years.
- 0:56Speaker 3: But it's like all that stuff being said, there's so
- 0:59Speaker 3: many things that I recognize that I expect or believe
- 1:04Speaker 3: the other person knows everything about in a relationship, and
- 1:08Speaker 3: that's not true. It's not true. And we've been having
- 1:13Speaker 3: conversations where we're exploring what do we want out of
- 1:17Speaker 3: the relationship, what.
- 1:18Speaker 2: Kind of things do we like? Oh, you like that?
- 1:21Speaker 3: I like that too, But we don't until you start
- 1:23Speaker 3: having the conversations, you don't know. And the rest of
- 1:26Speaker 3: the time, it was a whole lot of assuming you're
- 1:28Speaker 3: supposed to be reading my mind, you should know this stuff.
- 1:30Speaker 3: And I was getting angry about things that we never
- 1:34Speaker 3: even discussed because I figured that person knew and that's
- 1:38Speaker 3: not been in just my home relationship, that's in relationships.
- 1:41Speaker 3: And then even recognizing my child behavior because there's a
- 1:45Speaker 3: few recordings back that I've had a person that stepped
- 1:48Speaker 3: out of my life that was very close to me.
- 1:51Speaker 2: That I really my little girl was quite offended, actually.
- 1:55Speaker 3: Was quite hurt, and didn't want anything to do with
- 1:58Speaker 3: the person ever again. And now it's like, I wish
- 2:02Speaker 3: the person best on their journey, and I'm going on
- 2:04Speaker 3: my journey, and I'm very grateful.
- 2:06Speaker 2: And thankful that things went the way that they did.
- 2:09Speaker 2: Otherwise I wouldn't be where I'm at right now, in
- 2:12Speaker 2: this place where I'm sitting right now, in the thought
- 2:16Speaker 2: patterns that I have. So many things have shifted since then,
- 2:20Speaker 2: recognizing what do I really want and I don't know,
- 2:23Speaker 2: I really don't know, But the only way that I'm
- 2:26Speaker 2: going to find out is if I start with all
- 2:28Speaker 2: the videos that we've just done today. The only way
- 2:30Speaker 2: that I'm going to know is by really just sitting
- 2:32Speaker 2: with and feeling how everything feels. Do I like that?
- 2:35Speaker 2: Do I not like that? What do I want?
- 2:37Speaker 1: Oh?
- 2:37Speaker 2: I didn't like that. I didn't like that?
- 2:39Speaker 3: My friend left that way? Well, what would I have liked?
- 2:42Speaker 3: I would liked my friend who have said? You know,
- 2:46Speaker 3: I think that maybe we have such an influence upon
- 2:49Speaker 3: each other that I'm kind of losing sight of where
- 2:52Speaker 3: I begin and where I end, and I really need
- 2:54Speaker 3: to come back into myself. I'm not saying that that's
- 2:57Speaker 3: what it was, but I feel like that's what it was,
- 3:00Speaker 3: as it's flowing from me right now, and not to
- 3:03Speaker 3: take it personal and at that point, you know, just
- 3:05Speaker 3: to have those conversations.
- 3:08Speaker 2: How else would it? Could it go out or go differently?
- 3:12Speaker 3: Well that it could go with so many different directions,
- 3:14Speaker 3: It could be so many different things. But it created
- 3:16Speaker 3: and asking within myself so that my next friend or
- 3:20Speaker 3: my relationship with our relationship that we have, if you
- 3:24Speaker 3: decide at some point, you know, my schedule is so
- 3:27Speaker 3: fulfilling that I don't have time for tea time anymore.
- 3:30Speaker 3: I'm not saying that that's a possibility, but anything's possible.
- 3:33Speaker 3: I'm going to have a different understanding about that because
- 3:36Speaker 3: I'm coming from a different space because of everything that
- 3:38Speaker 3: has transpired.
- 3:40Speaker 2: So it's like all this huge growth, all of it.
- 3:43Speaker 2: And even in recognizing.
- 3:47Speaker 3: Talking about pictures and stuff like that with a family member,
- 3:49Speaker 3: where that presented the conversation with hey, I've got like
- 3:52Speaker 3: totes over here full of pictures if you like to
- 3:55Speaker 3: come pick them up, go through them and take them,
- 3:57Speaker 3: and then bring me back the ones that you don't want,
- 3:59Speaker 3: which also presented another opportunity for me to be able
- 4:02Speaker 3: to take a look at things because now I'm looking
- 4:04Speaker 3: at things through different eyes, I'm looking at them through
- 4:07Speaker 3: different senses. There's more. I feel like there's more of
- 4:12Speaker 3: me now that can be part of the conversation or
- 4:15Speaker 3: can be part of the experience. And I gained so
- 4:18Speaker 3: much more understanding from that. Even there was a picture
- 4:21Speaker 3: that was shared of me when I was a teenager before,
- 4:24Speaker 3: It's like I could never look at these pictures because
- 4:26Speaker 3: I was so hateful and angry. I was just there
- 4:29Speaker 3: was so much on mean And now I look at
- 4:31Speaker 3: that girl and I'm.
- 4:32Speaker 2: Like, man, she was doing the best.
- 4:33Speaker 1: She could.
- 4:35Speaker 3: She was doing the best she could at that time,
- 4:36Speaker 3: and it was such a different I feel like I
- 4:39Speaker 3: freed myself up with a lot of feelings that I
- 4:43Speaker 3: had about that time frame because I look at it
- 4:46Speaker 3: now and I'm like, she was doing her best, and
- 4:48Speaker 3: her best at that time was anger and that's what
- 4:51Speaker 3: helped get.
- 4:51Speaker 2: Her to fifty five. But hey, I'm still alive and
- 4:54Speaker 2: having the experience, so you know what I mean.
- 4:57Speaker 3: It's just a matter of how we want to look
- 4:58Speaker 3: at things, and it's so so many things have changed
- 5:01Speaker 3: for me, and it's we just have to take the time.
- 5:05Speaker 3: I say half to you don't, but if you want
- 5:08Speaker 3: to get closer to people, you want to get closer
- 5:10Speaker 3: to yourself. It's having the conversations and having the understanding
- 5:14Speaker 3: and realizing where you and and where you don't you know,
- 5:17Speaker 3: where you're connected with everybody else to the point where
- 5:21Speaker 3: I recognize after I was the conversation started to go
- 5:25Speaker 3: a little bit different, and I could feel myself being
- 5:28Speaker 3: in the conversation and going in a different space, going
- 5:31Speaker 3: back to the old child patterns, the old I could
- 5:34Speaker 3: feel all this stuff starting to happen, and then I
- 5:36Speaker 3: recognize it right away. This is not my energy, and
- 5:40Speaker 3: so then I asked, I asked for myself to fill
- 5:43Speaker 3: my own energy. I only want to fill my own
- 5:45Speaker 3: energy now. And so with all that being said, it
- 5:48Speaker 3: took me out of wanting to fix things, wanting to
- 5:51Speaker 3: fix things for someone else, and then recognizing that I
- 5:54Speaker 3: sent the message after I saw the pictures and I said,
- 5:57Speaker 3: I miss her too, because I do. But this isn't
- 5:59Speaker 3: something that I would have said before, because I felt
- 6:03Speaker 3: like I wasn't allowed to have my feelings because this
- 6:06Speaker 3: person's feelings and emotions were so much more than mine.
- 6:09Speaker 3: I didn't have a right to that. I wasn't with her,
- 6:12Speaker 3: living with her all those years.
- 6:14Speaker 1: You know.
- 6:14Speaker 2: So it was just a and it wasn't anything bad
- 6:17Speaker 2: or good.
- 6:18Speaker 3: Back at the time, I would have said it was
- 6:20Speaker 3: bad because it felt bad, But it was recognizing that
- 6:23Speaker 3: that little child of that that person that's missing, that
- 6:27Speaker 3: person that's no longer in their life, and that in
- 6:29Speaker 3: that three D perspective, because that's why we miss people,
- 6:32Speaker 3: because otherwise we if we were not in a three D,
- 6:34Speaker 3: we recognized there right here right now.
- 6:36Speaker 2: My mom has been around a lot, and so it
- 6:38Speaker 2: just kind of went up.
- 6:39Speaker 3: It was very common it was not a surprise for
- 6:43Speaker 3: that person to reach out at that moment and then
- 6:45Speaker 3: tells me a story about how scary and it was
- 6:48Speaker 3: to create a business. So here I was in the
- 6:52Speaker 3: space of fear, and then he all of a sudden
- 6:54Speaker 3: out of the blue, if we stop and listen and
- 6:57Speaker 3: pull back, and there's always an ebb and flow, there's
- 7:00Speaker 3: always a give and take. It doesn't matter who the
- 7:02Speaker 3: person is contacting you, even if it's a bad experience,
- 7:05Speaker 3: there's always a give and take. And it's recognizing in
- 7:07Speaker 3: that moment he was giving me a story of something
- 7:10Speaker 3: that was changed because he said, I didn't know how
- 7:12Speaker 3: we're going to keep how was I going to be
- 7:14Speaker 3: able to feed you guys, Well, we're gonna be able
- 7:16Speaker 3: to keep a roof over our head, creating a whole
- 7:18Speaker 3: new business and all this other stuff. And then so
- 7:20Speaker 3: he gave me the faith that I just have to
- 7:22Speaker 3: know and trust I'm stepping into my own space and
- 7:25Speaker 3: it's it might feel a little bit scary sometimes, but
- 7:30Speaker 3: this is part of the evolution and it's okay, and
- 7:34Speaker 3: I'm going to be just fine.
- 7:38Speaker 1: And that the idea of that door opening because of
- 7:43Speaker 1: a picture, just because of a picture and his guidance
- 7:51Speaker 1: said to send that to you. Yeah, and you're already
- 7:57Speaker 1: thinking about your mom and then you get this information
- 8:01Speaker 1: about starting a business and you're in that space of
- 8:04Speaker 1: transition between your business and what's next and the fear.
- 8:09Speaker 1: And so how I love looking back on experiences to
- 8:15Speaker 1: be like, Wow, this happened, and then this happened, and
- 8:19Speaker 1: then I decided to do this, and this is where
- 8:21Speaker 1: I'm at now and oh my gosh, and now this
- 8:23Speaker 1: is happening, and this is the direction I'm flowing and
- 8:26Speaker 1: and it's just fun when you when you take the
- 8:29Speaker 1: time to think about you think you're on this journey
- 8:34Speaker 1: by yourself A lot of times, especially if you're wrapped
- 8:38Speaker 1: up in heavy emotion and holding on to past experiences
- 8:42Speaker 1: and then just replaying those in your head and feeling
- 8:44Speaker 1: those emotions and over and over and over, and then
- 8:47Speaker 1: that loneliness or depression sets in and you think, I,
- 8:51Speaker 1: how am I going to get out of this? How
- 8:52Speaker 1: am I going to do? How How am I? How
- 8:54Speaker 1: am I? How am I? When really, when you sit
- 8:57Speaker 1: and go how can I? And this is kind of
- 9:00Speaker 1: where I'm at with myself, especially at work, it's like,
- 9:03Speaker 1: don't tell me, I can't do it. How can we
- 9:07Speaker 1: do it? This particular avenue may not be the way,
- 9:12Speaker 1: but what are our options? How can this? How can
- 9:16Speaker 1: people collaborate to get it done? And so it's the same,
- 9:21Speaker 1: it's like, okay, how can I I'm thinking about my mom?
- 9:26Speaker 1: How can I process these emotions? How can I feel
- 9:30Speaker 1: her presence? How? Oh, somebody sent me a picture? Look
- 9:33Speaker 1: at that? I get to look at her because I
- 9:34Speaker 1: didn't think for myself to go get a picture of
- 9:37Speaker 1: her to look at her. And I'm not saying that's
- 9:39Speaker 1: what you did. I'm just saying they had their thinking
- 9:42Speaker 1: of her as well, sent you a picture and you're like,
- 9:44Speaker 1: oh my gosh, I was just thinking of her. And
- 9:46Speaker 1: so spirit has ways of getting through to us when
- 9:50Speaker 1: where when when we're going through change, transformation, stuck in fear,
- 9:58Speaker 1: but when we important for us to open up ourselves
- 10:02Speaker 1: to allow those connections to flow instead of feeling just stuck.
- 10:07Speaker 1: And I don't know how to get out of this
- 10:10Speaker 1: type of thing. My Grandpa's still showing up a lot,
- 10:14Speaker 1: and all the significant dates that I'm aware of have passed,
- 10:20Speaker 1: but he's man, He's still showing up every day almost
- 10:23Speaker 1: and I'm like, Okay, I don't know what's happening. I
- 10:26Speaker 1: don't know what's coming. I don't know, but you know
- 10:28Speaker 1: what I know spirits with me to guide me as
- 10:31Speaker 1: long as I stay open to that guidance. So I
- 10:36Speaker 1: think it's amazing how we think we're alone, but we're
- 10:40Speaker 1: all connected and when we just allow that process.
- 10:47Speaker 2: And it's awesome.
- 10:48Speaker 3: I mean, it really is to have that, to have
- 10:50Speaker 3: that perspective, and it's like to be hit for him
- 10:53Speaker 3: to be cleaning up his garage or to be moving
- 10:55Speaker 3: stuff around and then two pictures fall out, like one
- 10:58Speaker 3: of like from Night eighty three and then one of
- 11:02Speaker 3: you know, maybe eleven years ago. Yeah, so it's it's
- 11:06Speaker 3: it's interesting when you process that. And then how and
- 11:10Speaker 3: then the and I was, I was recognizing the conversation
- 11:15Speaker 3: that I had with him and what I had said, Well,
- 11:17Speaker 3: I said, that's I said, it's it's it's her way
- 11:19Speaker 3: of letting you know she's always with you. So also
- 11:22Speaker 3: for me, she's always with me. And I said that's
- 11:25Speaker 3: the that was the that would have been the beginning,
- 11:29Speaker 3: the middle, and I said there's no end, right, So
- 11:32Speaker 3: I know that that conversation was for myself because there
- 11:35Speaker 3: is no end.
- 11:36Speaker 2: There is there.
- 11:36Speaker 3: We don't die. We just shift gears. We just go
- 11:40Speaker 3: to a different place. We just travel the universe. We
- 11:42Speaker 3: just whatever, we do, whatever we want. We're just not
- 11:45Speaker 3: in this physical vessel anymore.
- 11:47Speaker 1: Yeah, well, I appreciate the conversation. But while we're talking
- 11:52Speaker 1: about death, I gotta mention three things that I want
- 11:54Speaker 1: at my services, just so you know, so you can
- 11:56Speaker 1: be a part of it if you're still around.
- 12:01Speaker 2: Love it.
- 12:02Speaker 1: I was on the I was on the social media
- 12:04Speaker 1: and this this lady had This lady had planned her
- 12:10Speaker 1: services because she knew she was she was gonna be transitioning,
- 12:13Speaker 1: so she planned her services, and she had she had
- 12:16Speaker 1: a flash mob at her memorial services, and she had
- 12:21Speaker 1: four ladies, uh, younger ladies dressed kind of leather but
- 12:27Speaker 1: appropriate type of outfits, and uh they danced to Queen's
- 12:34Speaker 1: another one bites the dust.
- 12:37Speaker 2: That is phenomenal.
- 12:39Speaker 1: I'm like, I want that. And then I've seen before
- 12:43Speaker 1: where somebody takes your cell phone and text everybody and
- 12:47Speaker 1: says thanks for coming. And then and then she was
- 12:53Speaker 1: another one where you send everybody a thank you card
- 12:56Speaker 1: and and it's a little tiny like weedy board in
- 12:59Speaker 1: there and it says stayed in touch. I'm like, I
- 13:02Speaker 1: want all of that.
- 13:04Speaker 2: I about all that too. How fun is that?
- 13:07Speaker 1: Like?
- 13:07Speaker 2: How fun is that?
- 13:08Speaker 3: Because that that's me presents a whole different way of
- 13:11Speaker 3: perceiving everything, which is so valuable because it's not it's
- 13:14Speaker 3: a celebration. Let's have fun. I don't want people to
- 13:17Speaker 3: be depressed at my I know anything. Yeah, celebration of life.
- 13:22Speaker 1: Yeah yeah. So anyway, they were like in it it
- 13:25Speaker 1: looked like a church setting. Maybe it was just a
- 13:28Speaker 1: funeral home or something, but it was that type of setting.
- 13:31Speaker 1: And then these these ladies popped up and started music
- 13:34Speaker 1: started playing, and these ladies popped up and started dancing,
- 13:37Speaker 1: and then they went down the center aisle and then
- 13:40Speaker 1: they were up front. It was just so funny, and
- 13:42Speaker 1: I was like, bites that dust. That was great. Nice,
- 13:49Speaker 1: So be sure to have my services because you never
- 13:52Speaker 1: know what's gonna happen.
- 13:54Speaker 2: That's true. I like that. I like, I really do
- 13:56Speaker 2: like that a lot.
- 13:57Speaker 3: That's that's how it should be. And then I'm sad
- 14:00Speaker 3: you're thinking about how did everybody receive it? I bet
- 14:02Speaker 3: you some people were like, what the hell is going on?
- 14:04Speaker 1: Oh yeah. You can see their faces. It was so
- 14:06Speaker 1: funny because they're like, I didn't know what to think.
- 14:14Speaker 1: Is great, but if they knew the person, then they
- 14:17Speaker 1: would know that they would At the end of the
- 14:20Speaker 1: video they were all like like moving in their seat
- 14:23Speaker 1: and clapping. It was it was funny. It was so great.
- 14:27Speaker 1: So and that's the way Spirit wants us to be
- 14:30Speaker 1: as well as to be celebratory about life, but also
- 14:35Speaker 1: in transition. I've heard people say that the transition from
- 14:42Speaker 1: from life to death, for practical terms, from life to
- 14:49Speaker 1: death is the most beautiful experience and they love that
- 14:55Speaker 1: experience more so than a baby being born. And then
- 15:01Speaker 1: I hear actually just recently it was listened to a
- 15:05Speaker 1: podcast and they were talking about trauma and they're like,
- 15:08Speaker 1: we'll think about being born and you're coming through the
- 15:10Speaker 1: being pushed through this canal, and how traumatic. What an
- 15:15Speaker 1: experience that is. I was like, ah, yeah, we do
- 15:18Speaker 1: come into this world just like.
- 15:19Speaker 2: Fuck exactly from safety, warm, comfortable, safe.
- 15:25Speaker 1: Ah yeah, and now you're out here going ah. I
- 15:29Speaker 1: wonder they cry when they show up. What the hell.
- 15:36Speaker 2: I didn't find up for this? Yes you did, Yes
- 15:38Speaker 2: you did.
- 15:39Speaker 1: Welcome to the world. So anyway, honoring our our loved
- 15:45Speaker 1: ones and spirit in so many ways, just sit and
- 15:48Speaker 1: think about them. I have a picture of my grandmother
- 15:50Speaker 1: on my my fridge. It's her and I and I
- 15:53Speaker 1: just tell her. Most days it's hey, Grammy, I love you.
- 15:57Speaker 1: And then there's other days I'm like, girl, I need
- 16:00Speaker 1: some help today because I need some guidance. I need
- 16:06Speaker 1: some help getting through this, I need to know what
- 16:09Speaker 1: to do with this person, like whatever's going on. But
- 16:13Speaker 1: for the most part, it's hey, grahmmy, I love you,
- 16:16Speaker 1: Thanks for being with me. So uh So we can
- 16:21Speaker 1: honor them in so many ways. Maybe go sit and
- 16:24Speaker 1: eat at their favorite restaurant. I met a girl, a
- 16:27Speaker 1: lady who I didn't know. We met for We met
- 16:31Speaker 1: for lunch and she's like, well, she does live here,
- 16:36Speaker 1: and she's like, well, where do you want to go?
- 16:38Speaker 1: And I gave her a couple of places, and the
- 16:40Speaker 1: one place I mentioned she goes, let's go there because
- 16:43Speaker 1: that's where my mom loved to go. And what you know,
- 16:46Speaker 1: the fact that I would even suggest that, so go
- 16:50Speaker 1: have lunch breakfast at your favorite their favorite coffee shop
- 16:55Speaker 1: or restaurant, or maybe like to just go feed the
- 16:59Speaker 1: dot or something like, just do something in their honor,
- 17:03Speaker 1: but be present when you're doing it, and just sit
- 17:05Speaker 1: and know that they're with you and they're with us
- 17:08Speaker 1: no matter what we're going through. You can always call
- 17:10Speaker 1: in their energy. They're not just sitting around waiting for
- 17:13Speaker 1: us to call them. They got their own thing going on,
- 17:16Speaker 1: I believe, and but they're always willing to be with
- 17:21Speaker 1: us when we when we desire that. So any final words, Miss.
- 17:26Speaker 2: Bev, have a wonderful day, yea, make it.
- 17:33Speaker 1: Amazing, make it yes? All right? Friends, Thanks for hanging
