- 0:00Speaker 1: Sampa Bay's best music is made nine.
- 0:04Speaker 2: Welcome back to another episode of Scotty and Abby Unfiltered.
- 0:08Speaker 2: And I did want to take a quick note to
- 0:09Speaker 2: say thank you because I know we have a lot
- 0:11Speaker 2: of new fam squad members. Because every time you've Maken
- 0:14Speaker 2: mentioned Abby on your Instagram, there's new comments. I get
- 0:18Speaker 2: the dms that tell me that they've either been a
- 0:20Speaker 2: long listener of you or they're so grateful they found
- 0:23Speaker 2: this podcast.
- 0:24Speaker 1: So last time I talked to my dad, he was like,
- 0:26Speaker 1: oh my god, you guys sound really good together. Of
- 0:29Speaker 1: course you would say that.
- 0:30Speaker 2: And then also my roommate, I walked in yesterday and
- 0:34Speaker 2: I hear him in his room.
- 0:35Speaker 1: He's like, dude, I'm listening to the podcast. You guys
- 0:38Speaker 1: sound so good. Oh that's so nice. Thank you Scotty's roommate. Yeah,
- 0:42Speaker 1: everyone's giving a little love.
- 0:44Speaker 2: And so that's what's so exciting is being able to
- 0:45Speaker 2: take you behind the scenes, give you more in depth
- 0:47Speaker 2: detail on a lot of the stories. And I know
- 0:50Speaker 2: a big thing that I've talked about is trying to
- 0:52Speaker 2: step back into the dating world.
- 0:53Speaker 1: And I will tell you right.
- 0:54Speaker 2: Now, like after this weekend, like the past week I
- 0:58Speaker 2: have gone on the best dates and had the most
- 1:01Speaker 2: fun then I think I've ever had.
- 1:03Speaker 3: I'm so glad that you're vocalizing this because I just
- 1:05Speaker 3: had to sit down with a friend who just got
- 1:07Speaker 3: out of a ten year relationship.
- 1:08Speaker 1: The whole thing.
- 1:09Speaker 3: At some point I'll debrief it, but we've been begging
- 1:12Speaker 3: her to get out of this relationship because, like, you
- 1:14Speaker 3: have no idea how good it's going to get for
- 1:16Speaker 3: you once you are brave enough to leave, or if
- 1:19Speaker 3: you know this person breaks up with you or whatever.
- 1:21Speaker 3: And so I love that you're vocalizing this for anybody
- 1:24Speaker 3: who's in a shitty relationship who's like I don't want
- 1:26Speaker 3: to get back into the dating scene. I hear Abby
- 1:27Speaker 3: talk about how bad it is. Sometimes it's gonna be
- 1:29Speaker 3: good for people. I think I just attract No, I'm kidding,
- 1:34Speaker 3: I'm picky.
- 1:35Speaker 1: I'm a particular woman, and.
- 1:37Speaker 2: It's just been fun to just go on new adventures,
- 1:39Speaker 2: like I literally have just gone out of my comfort zone,
- 1:41Speaker 2: try new things that I've never done before.
- 1:43Speaker 1: And I'll tell you what.
- 1:44Speaker 2: I've gone on the longest, most adventurous dates in the
- 1:46Speaker 2: past five days.
- 1:48Speaker 1: And we're going to talk about a little bit.
- 1:49Speaker 2: But I want to also mention something to Abby because
- 1:52Speaker 2: you made me remember the word solid core, and so
- 1:55Speaker 2: I was like, all right, my job for the entire
- 1:56Speaker 2: morning while the show is happening is I was.
- 1:58Speaker 1: Like, solid core, solid core? Why did I have to
- 2:00Speaker 1: remember solid corps?
- 2:01Speaker 3: Well, I wish that we hadn't talked about your date
- 2:04Speaker 3: while I had been thinking of solid core, because the
- 2:06Speaker 3: reason I was thinking of solid core was, oh my god,
- 2:09Speaker 3: I need to bring Scotty to solid core, and I
- 2:10Speaker 3: want to tell you why. Oh so, it's a very
- 2:14Speaker 3: controversial opinion that some people have that men should not
- 2:17Speaker 3: be allowed in women's workout spaces or traditionally women's workout
- 2:21Speaker 3: spaces like pilates, Lagree, solid corps, and typically I kind
- 2:25Speaker 3: of feel that way.
- 2:26Speaker 1: It's exactly like just safe space.
- 2:28Speaker 2: That's what I've always been told is at least because okay, tangent,
- 2:32Speaker 2: sorry to take you on a tangent.
- 2:33Speaker 1: Take me there.
- 2:34Speaker 2: I've gone to pole classes. I've had friends that have
- 2:37Speaker 2: done pole like pole dancing. It's a whole workout if
- 2:39Speaker 2: you've never And we've done group fitness classes together where
- 2:43Speaker 2: it's like women and guys all together. We're all friends.
- 2:45Speaker 2: So it's kind of like a private session. But as
- 2:48Speaker 2: much as I thought it was really cool, I was like,
- 2:49Speaker 2: I can't go on my own because this is like
- 2:52Speaker 2: literally I see pictures and women just get to express themselves.
- 2:56Speaker 2: They're wearing you know, honestly nothing, pretty much, and I
- 3:00Speaker 2: wouldn't want to intrude on that space and then be like, oh,
- 3:04Speaker 2: this used to be a safe space for me. Now
- 3:06Speaker 2: I have this random straight white man up in my
- 3:09Speaker 2: space and I'm trying to feel sexy in my own skin.
- 3:11Speaker 1: And I wouldn't want them to feel that way.
- 3:13Speaker 2: So I understand not wanting to step in pilates. If
- 3:16Speaker 2: that is the space that you will as the ladies.
- 3:20Speaker 3: I've created, Well, here's where I'm going to fill in
- 3:22Speaker 3: that gap, because I typically do feel that way, except
- 3:25Speaker 3: for last night. Last night, I went to a solid
- 3:28Speaker 3: core class. I go to the Hyde Park location occasionally.
- 3:32Speaker 3: I'm usually at the Saint Pete location kind of do
- 3:34Speaker 3: fifty to fifty half in Atlanta or half in Tampa,
- 3:36Speaker 3: half in Saint Pete. So I'm a solid core last
- 3:38Speaker 3: night and I'm on my machine in the corner. I
- 3:40Speaker 3: like to be away from people because I like to
- 3:42Speaker 3: have room to be able to do my.
- 3:43Speaker 1: Full wing span because you're out there grunting. We were
- 3:45Speaker 1: doing we were doing back that day, and I didn't
- 3:48Speaker 1: want to bump anybody.
- 3:49Speaker 3: The reformers are very close to each other, and this
- 3:52Speaker 3: guy comes in very cute, very handsome, and I'm assuming
- 3:54Speaker 3: single because he's coming to Solid Corps by himself, unless
- 3:57Speaker 3: maybe his girlfriend just couldn't come that day. I don't know,
- 4:00Speaker 3: but anyway, it kind of upped my game a little
- 4:02Speaker 3: bit because I'm like, here's a fit dude here, and
- 4:05Speaker 3: I'm like, I'm typically just surrounded by women, which I
- 4:07Speaker 3: typically prefer, but I'm like, you know what, this is
- 4:09Speaker 3: giving me a little extra motivation to have a little
- 4:12Speaker 3: hutzpah in my plank to pike or whatever. But here's
- 4:17Speaker 3: where I come in because at Solid Core they do
- 4:20Speaker 3: this really annoying thing that I typically hate. There's a
- 4:22Speaker 3: trend here. Typically don't like this, except when there's a
- 4:24Speaker 3: cute guy in the class.
- 4:25Speaker 1: See, as long as the guy's cute, we have a
- 4:27Speaker 1: little more pull.
- 4:28Speaker 3: At the end of every class, the instructor goes tell
- 4:32Speaker 3: your neighbor, good job, give them a high five. Now,
- 4:35Speaker 3: in most workout classes, people just keep their head down.
- 4:37Speaker 3: They go I'm not doing that, which is typically what
- 4:39Speaker 3: I would do. But because most people say hi, give
- 4:44Speaker 3: a high five or whatever, it's just a very normal
- 4:47Speaker 3: thing to do. And I thought, this is the perfect
- 4:50Speaker 3: place to meet a girl because everybody has a similar lifestyle,
- 4:56Speaker 3: similar habits, and this is such an easy end where
- 5:00Speaker 3: someone's literally saying say hi to the person next to you.
- 5:04Speaker 3: And because it's so common for women to do that
- 5:06Speaker 3: in these classes, because most people aren't keeping their head
- 5:09Speaker 3: down in solid core, because it's so calmon, you just.
- 5:10Speaker 1: Keep doing it. You're like, okay, I'll give you a
- 5:11Speaker 1: live live Yeah. I'm like, this is such an easy end.
- 5:14Speaker 3: So I thought, oh my god, I need to bring
- 5:16Speaker 3: Scotty to solid Core so we can meet some ladies.
- 5:18Speaker 3: Because if I bring you, then it's not weird because
- 5:21Speaker 3: then they're like, maybe he's just a friend, Maybe he's
- 5:25Speaker 3: of the gay persuasion. You don't feel threatening as when
- 5:28Speaker 3: you're trying to sign.
- 5:29Speaker 2: Me just showing up, because I don't want it to
- 5:30Speaker 2: ever seem like all this guy's coming in here because
- 5:33Speaker 2: there's bunch of cute girls and he wants to check
- 5:34Speaker 2: girls out. Like nope, I literally just want a great workout,
- 5:38Speaker 2: and everyone always says how solid Core pilates or these.
- 5:41Speaker 1: Yoga classes are so good, and it's like.
- 5:44Speaker 2: I want to go, but again, I don't want to
- 5:46Speaker 2: just go because there's a lot of beautiful women there.
- 5:49Speaker 1: I mean, it's a plus.
- 5:50Speaker 3: But here's the thing I think, because last night I
- 5:53Speaker 3: was like, Oh, this guy seems well adjusted, cute, very fit.
- 5:57Speaker 3: I'm like, if I go and I endorse Scotti as
- 6:00Speaker 3: a as a good match for women, maybe this is
- 6:04Speaker 3: a great place for women to meet you.
- 6:06Speaker 1: For you to meet women and get a good workout
- 6:08Speaker 1: in that actually sounds amazing.
- 6:10Speaker 3: I kind of want to start that as a service,
- 6:12Speaker 3: like I will be your ambassador into solid Core.
- 6:14Speaker 1: I will give you the he is not a creep
- 6:16Speaker 1: status you're gonna say, I will be your pimp. I
- 6:19Speaker 1: will be your pimp. I'm gonna pimp you out at
- 6:21Speaker 1: solid Core. But I feel like I'm gonna match make
- 6:23Speaker 1: for women.
- 6:24Speaker 2: We got solid well, then I need to be able
- 6:26Speaker 2: to bring you into spaces so you I can match
- 6:28Speaker 2: make you with men because I'm honestly like, that's what
- 6:32Speaker 2: I'm looking for.
- 6:32Speaker 1: I want somebody that is in the health lifestyle.
- 6:35Speaker 2: They're obviously taking care of themselves at Crunch. Here's the thing,
- 6:42Speaker 2: because I do go to Crunch, I endorse Crunch, I
- 6:44Speaker 2: love Crunch. I find it harder in a public gym
- 6:47Speaker 2: setting because if you're working out, my imagination tells me
- 6:52Speaker 2: that you're not really in the space to be getting
- 6:54Speaker 2: hit on.
- 6:55Speaker 1: Now, caveat.
- 6:57Speaker 2: There are so many people that are just their their beauty,
- 7:00Speaker 2: but like they've obviously put on a full face of makeup.
- 7:03Speaker 2: They're obviously wearing an outfit that they specifically picked to
- 7:06Speaker 2: look really good. But again, my thought goes to, you're
- 7:09Speaker 2: wearing this because you want to feel good, look good
- 7:11Speaker 2: for a great workout, not necessarily because you want to
- 7:13Speaker 2: feel good, look good and then get hit on.
- 7:15Speaker 1: Well.
- 7:16Speaker 3: I mean, I would think if somebody's wearing a full
- 7:19Speaker 3: face of makeup to the gym, they maybe want to
- 7:21Speaker 3: be approached, because I'll wear specific If I don't want
- 7:23Speaker 3: to be approached, you'll you can look at me up,
- 7:26Speaker 3: don't don't.
- 7:26Speaker 1: She's not warm that way.
- 7:28Speaker 3: That way she's wearing last year's lul Lemon said it
- 7:32Speaker 3: was on sale. But if you're wearing the bright blue
- 7:34Speaker 3: push up bra, I mean, let me make this very clear.
- 7:38Speaker 3: I'm not saying women are asking for things based up
- 7:40Speaker 3: what they're wearing. I'm just saying I think you could
- 7:42Speaker 3: make an inference that someone maybe would want a little
- 7:44Speaker 3: bit more attention. Respectfully, don't be creepy, don't have any
- 7:49Speaker 3: advances that aren't warranted.
- 7:51Speaker 1: Feel a vibe.
- 7:52Speaker 3: But if someone's dressed up a little bit more for
- 7:53Speaker 3: the gym, I think it's probably a green light.
- 7:56Speaker 1: Is it an automatic No? If they have headphones on. Yes.
- 8:00Speaker 2: See, that's what I thought too, because I go work
- 8:02Speaker 2: out with a friend every day and we talk about
- 8:03Speaker 2: this and he'll be like, man, I want to go
- 8:06Speaker 2: say hi to her, and I'm like, I mean, you
- 8:08Speaker 2: can look, shoot your shot, go say hello. Be friendly
- 8:11Speaker 2: in general, that's my rules. Like I like to just
- 8:13Speaker 2: be friendly to everybody. But I do have these lists
- 8:15Speaker 2: of rules in my head that are like, well, based
- 8:18Speaker 2: off of the women I know. They say, when you
- 8:20Speaker 2: have headphones in, you're literally showing the world. I have
- 8:23Speaker 2: shut out the rest of the world so I could
- 8:24Speaker 2: be in my own I'm not looking for.
- 8:26Speaker 1: That interaction now.
- 8:27Speaker 2: I'm sure, like you said, if the cute enough guy
- 8:30Speaker 2: walks up, you'll take out your headphones for him. You'll
- 8:32Speaker 2: be more open for that conversation. But maybe that's just
- 8:35Speaker 2: maybe we're getting in our own way by having all
- 8:37Speaker 2: these different rules that say who we could say hi to,
- 8:40Speaker 2: who we can And he's.
- 8:42Speaker 3: Wearing cobalt blue and she's got the push up sports
- 8:45Speaker 3: braun then it's okay, then go in and say hello.
- 8:47Speaker 3: I can already see the comments about to get be
- 8:49Speaker 3: like I'm be said waymen or asking forart. No, I'm
- 8:51Speaker 3: just saying if they look like they're putting a little effort,
- 8:53Speaker 3: they might have.
- 8:54Speaker 2: And I think that's like again, because if you don't
- 8:55Speaker 2: want to meet people because and I've said this before,
- 8:58Speaker 2: but I also walk myself back. I'm not usually meeting
- 9:00Speaker 2: people at the bar cauz, I don't necessarily go to
- 9:03Speaker 2: the bar. I have a little bit more since i've
- 9:05Speaker 2: been single. But I think it'd be a little more
- 9:08Speaker 2: organic for me to be like at the gym and
- 9:10Speaker 2: be like, oh, you are into this, I'm into this.
- 9:14Speaker 2: We have one thing in common already.
- 9:15Speaker 3: It's gotta be the right place in the gym. Like
- 9:18Speaker 3: you said, if her headphones are on or she's in
- 9:20Speaker 3: the middle of a set.
- 9:21Speaker 1: Don't go stand over her while she's lifting and then
- 9:25Speaker 1: wait for her to be done. But how about wait
- 9:26Speaker 1: for her to go get a water break somewhere. That's
- 9:28Speaker 1: a valid thing.
- 9:29Speaker 3: And why don't you just go over and say, hey,
- 9:32Speaker 3: I thought your RDL split squat was Oh wait, maybe
- 9:35Speaker 3: not the squat I.
- 9:36Speaker 1: Know, maybe not staring at her while she's squatting.
- 9:38Speaker 3: You've got great form in your dead bug crunches.
- 9:43Speaker 1: Well I did.
- 9:44Speaker 2: I had somebody followed me on Instagram from the gym,
- 9:47Speaker 2: like I've seen them multiple times, and they followed me.
- 9:49Speaker 2: I saw they followed me, so I followed them back,
- 9:51Speaker 2: and so I ended up I was just like, you
- 9:53Speaker 2: know what, next time I see him.
- 9:54Speaker 1: I made the rule with myself.
- 9:55Speaker 2: I was like, next time I see them, I'm deliberately
- 9:56Speaker 2: gonna go say hello and say that I you know,
- 9:59Speaker 2: I followed you on Instagram and I've noticed you for
- 10:01Speaker 2: so long and it was honestly really friendly. I felt
- 10:04Speaker 2: a little weird at the beginning, and they literally I
- 10:06Speaker 2: felt like I walked out of nowhere.
- 10:07Speaker 1: But I was like, hey, I saw you followed me.
- 10:11Speaker 1: It is actually nice. I don't know, it kind of
- 10:13Speaker 1: sounds stupid now, No, it doesn't sound stupid, Well it
- 10:15Speaker 1: does because I.
- 10:15Speaker 2: Was like, hey, you know, I've been meaning to say hello.
- 10:17Speaker 2: We follow each other, the dumbest thing I do. And
- 10:19Speaker 2: there's so many people I follow or follow me that like,
- 10:22Speaker 2: we only know each other online, but we've seen each
- 10:25Speaker 2: other out in person. Yeah, but it's that first in
- 10:27Speaker 2: person interaction that's always a little awkward.
- 10:29Speaker 3: It's yeah, but I mean at the end that you
- 10:31Speaker 3: probably know who each other are because you've seen each
- 10:34Speaker 3: other in your feeds so many times where it's like,
- 10:36Speaker 3: we follow each other, right, and then if if they
- 10:39Speaker 3: make it weird, the nuts on them, Like that's a
- 10:41Speaker 3: weird thing to not want to have an in person
- 10:43Speaker 3: friendship or whatever with somebody.
- 10:45Speaker 1: That you mutually follow.
- 10:46Speaker 3: Like if I had seen you out in the wild
- 10:47Speaker 3: a year ago, I would have been I would have gone,
- 10:49Speaker 3: oh my god, hi Scott, I'm Abby. Remember CMG, I'd
- 10:52Speaker 3: forced you to follow me a couple of years back,
- 10:54Speaker 3: and you go, oh.
- 10:55Speaker 1: Okay, I've never seen yourself.
- 10:56Speaker 2: But there are certain women that I have like we
- 10:58Speaker 2: follow each other and we've seeing each other out in public,
- 11:01Speaker 2: but we've never like approached.
- 11:03Speaker 1: That's weird. That is weird. That's weird. Why aren't you
- 11:06Speaker 1: approaching them.
- 11:06Speaker 3: Why.
- 11:06Speaker 2: I don't think I ever had the right timing because
- 11:09Speaker 2: maybe I noticed them across a gym and it's like, well,
- 11:11Speaker 2: what am I gonna stop my ass over there just
- 11:13Speaker 2: to say hello? Because I'm like, oh, I've seen you
- 11:16Speaker 2: on my Instagram. But I know they follow me too, then.
- 11:19Speaker 3: That's your your green light. If they follow you back,
- 11:23Speaker 3: they're interested in communicating with you.
- 11:26Speaker 1: Okay.
- 11:26Speaker 3: I don't follow people back if I'm not well, don't
- 11:29Speaker 3: get this twisted. Just because I follow you back to
- 11:31Speaker 3: some mean I'm like, hey, you come hit on me.
- 11:32Speaker 3: But if you are friendly and cordial and not creepy,
- 11:36Speaker 3: then I think that's totally okay.
- 11:37Speaker 2: I just think sometimes there's so much time that goes
- 11:39Speaker 2: by that now it becomes weird, Like there's a couple
- 11:41Speaker 2: of people in my mind literally right now that I'm like,
- 11:43Speaker 2: we have had so many weird moments in person that
- 11:45Speaker 2: we've never actually talked. But now, I mean, I could
- 11:48Speaker 2: push past it. I'll walk by and now say hello.
- 11:51Speaker 2: But there's been so many interactions where I've said I'm
- 11:53Speaker 2: just not going to say anything because I don't even
- 11:55Speaker 2: know if they realize who I am. Instead of me
- 11:57Speaker 2: walking up because I think the thing in my head says,
- 11:59Speaker 2: I'm gonna say hello, and they're gonna be.
- 12:01Speaker 1: Like, who are you.
- 12:02Speaker 2: I'm like, okay, now it looks stupid because I know
- 12:05Speaker 2: who you are, but you don't know who I am.
- 12:07Speaker 1: And we follow each other. That's that's on them, Like,
- 12:09Speaker 1: that's a weird reaction to have. I would think so too.
- 12:12Speaker 3: Well, it's a good thing you don't have to approach
- 12:14Speaker 3: women at the gym anymore because I'm gonna pimp you
- 12:16Speaker 3: out at solid Core and you just had an incredible
- 12:18Speaker 3: date things to me.
- 12:20Speaker 2: Yeah, well, okay, so Abby has wing woman perfectly, especially
- 12:25Speaker 2: in the DMS. If people are ever slightly interested in me,
- 12:29Speaker 2: you could message Abby because.
- 12:31Speaker 1: I'm Scotty's pimp. Come to me. I'll tell you his rates.
- 12:34Speaker 2: Well, I mean, it was a good week for it,
- 12:36Speaker 2: and I think, going back to the beginning of this conversation,
- 12:39Speaker 2: I do remember being in a relationship wondering how the
- 12:42Speaker 2: dating world would be and how hard it would be
- 12:45Speaker 2: because you hear the stories, the horror stories. But based
- 12:48Speaker 2: off of the things that have truly helped one is
- 12:50Speaker 2: I went to a speed dating event which was incredible
- 12:54Speaker 2: for just connections. The more people I talked to that
- 12:57Speaker 2: are tired of the apps. I'm telling you to just
- 13:00Speaker 2: try anything in person that forces you into a space
- 13:03Speaker 2: with just.
- 13:03Speaker 1: Other people that are kind of like you.
- 13:04Speaker 2: I told my brother this yesterday too. I was like, dude,
- 13:06Speaker 2: get off the apps because they're just exhausting you. They're
- 13:08Speaker 2: making you feel like there's no love in the world.
- 13:10Speaker 2: Because as soon as we went to this event, met
- 13:12Speaker 2: somebody super nice. We've been on a couple of dates.
- 13:14Speaker 2: We just we went and saw. We did trivia together,
- 13:17Speaker 2: which was so fun, and it was just nice to
- 13:20Speaker 2: have someone just to do stuff with. Cause I think
- 13:23Speaker 2: tangent a thing about me is I do love love
- 13:27Speaker 2: like even you know. Bruno Mars has his new album,
- 13:29Speaker 2: The Romantic Album. I have obsessed over it, and.
- 13:32Speaker 1: It makes me so excited to have that person.
- 13:35Speaker 2: Where I could throw on the song dance with Me
- 13:37Speaker 2: that he just released, and I'm like.
- 13:38Speaker 1: I want some of the dance with So I do
- 13:41Speaker 1: get excited for that one day.
- 13:43Speaker 2: But after the trivia night date, I had so much fun.
- 13:47Speaker 2: And I also had another date set up on the
- 13:48Speaker 2: weekend with the person that Abby connected me with.
- 13:53Speaker 1: Yeh it.
- 13:53Speaker 2: Now what's cool is we have multiple mutual friends. We
- 13:59Speaker 2: were texting and the energy was already incredible, and so
- 14:03Speaker 2: we went out to dinner on Saturday, and just to
- 14:07Speaker 2: make it very easy on how good this date was,
- 14:10Speaker 2: we didn't even order food for the first two hours,
- 14:13Speaker 2: oh my god, because we were just talking, just drinks,
- 14:16Speaker 2: just drinks.
- 14:17Speaker 1: It took us literally, like probably thirty minutes before.
- 14:19Speaker 2: We even got a drink, because as soon as we
- 14:21Speaker 2: got together, Oh my, let me just tell you, I like,
- 14:24Speaker 2: I opened the door to go get her, and I
- 14:26Speaker 2: was like, I like almost like lost my breath for
- 14:28Speaker 2: a scond.
- 14:28Speaker 1: I was like, oh my god, stop. I swear to gosh,
- 14:33Speaker 1: she listens to this, She's gonna die. I know. I'm
- 14:35Speaker 1: actually I want this just to be in the fam.
- 14:38Speaker 3: I'll label the episode something to do with should men
- 14:41Speaker 3: approach women here? And then you know, if she sticks around,
- 14:45Speaker 3: then I think she earned it.
- 14:46Speaker 1: I guess if you're listening to this farm But that's fine.
- 14:48Speaker 3: If that was the title of the podcast, that's where
- 14:50Speaker 3: I just came up with.
- 14:51Speaker 1: It, from the brainchild of it rain child. But I
- 14:54Speaker 1: just honestly was blown away.
- 14:56Speaker 2: It's a wild thing to be a dude with with
- 15:00Speaker 2: a just a beautiful woman, because you literally feel like
- 15:05Speaker 2: the eyes of the room on you. And I was
- 15:08Speaker 2: like looking around, like you.
- 15:09Speaker 1: Damn right, Yeah, you see what table she's sitting at.
- 15:12Speaker 1: It's with me.
- 15:14Speaker 2: But we talked for we closed out the restaurant. We
- 15:18Speaker 2: literally had to leave. I left simply because I saw
- 15:20Speaker 2: they were closed. We could have just sat there and
- 15:22Speaker 2: continued talking. We had glass of glass after wine, and
- 15:25Speaker 2: we had an amazing dish of food and it was
- 15:27Speaker 2: so fun that we started doing a little tour via
- 15:30Speaker 2: Saint Pete. So we went and checked out this place
- 15:33Speaker 2: called Ruby's Elixir, which is it's like a music bar
- 15:37Speaker 2: where they got a live band on the stage. Grabbed
- 15:39Speaker 2: a drink there, and it was so fun because you
- 15:41Speaker 2: could tell the comfort of somebody based off of if
- 15:45Speaker 2: they're going to sing with you or not, and based
- 15:46Speaker 2: off of how silly you feel singing with them. And
- 15:50Speaker 2: so we're literally singing with each other, we're talking to strangers.
- 15:54Speaker 2: It was too comfortable, too quick. And I don't say
- 15:58Speaker 2: too isn't bad. I say it was just amazing to
- 16:00Speaker 2: see how comfortable you could get with somebody and how
- 16:02Speaker 2: easy it was.
- 16:03Speaker 3: Was there a part of you that was thinking I
- 16:04Speaker 3: can't trust this or did you find it easy to
- 16:07Speaker 3: fall into it?
- 16:08Speaker 2: I found it very easy to just fall into conversation
- 16:11Speaker 2: to just how everything flowed.
- 16:13Speaker 1: And I love that energy back. And what's fun about.
- 16:15Speaker 2: Dating is I'm looking for the things that I actually want.
- 16:18Speaker 2: So I want someone that could, you know, if let's
- 16:20Speaker 2: talk tennis terms, when you serve it up, I want
- 16:22Speaker 2: them to be able to hit it back.
- 16:24Speaker 1: You know.
- 16:24Speaker 2: As much as I love talking here and I do
- 16:26Speaker 2: everything in an entertainment stance, I do want a relationship
- 16:30Speaker 2: where I could just sit back and listen. I want
- 16:32Speaker 2: her to be the one that could take charge in
- 16:34Speaker 2: the conversation and just let me listen because they're just
- 16:37Speaker 2: so excited to be able to tell me stuff.
- 16:39Speaker 1: I love that. And we had so many of those
- 16:40Speaker 1: moments that we left that bar.
- 16:42Speaker 2: I left my credit card at that bar by the way,
- 16:44Speaker 2: so eventually I'm gonna go get it unless they cut
- 16:46Speaker 2: it up and throw it.
- 16:47Speaker 3: Or another good sign that you were so wrapped up
- 16:50Speaker 3: in the conversation you forgot your credit Have you checked
- 16:53Speaker 3: to see.
- 16:53Speaker 1: If anyone's use it?
- 16:54Speaker 2: I put it on my frozen immediately, OK, Because like
- 16:57Speaker 2: we were just so in flow, like I didn't want
- 16:59Speaker 2: it to let its like bother me. Because we got
- 17:01Speaker 2: to the next bar and I went to go buy
- 17:02Speaker 2: our drinks and went to this place called Whiskey Exchange,
- 17:05Speaker 2: super nice, and I pulled out my wallet. I was like, gosh,
- 17:08Speaker 2: dang it, I lost my card and she was about
- 17:10Speaker 2: to be like, oh, I got it, and I was
- 17:11Speaker 2: like I just felt like such like that dude of
- 17:14Speaker 2: like no, no, no, no, all of it's on me.
- 17:17Speaker 2: Side note, I realized how expensive dating is so expensive,
- 17:22Speaker 2: especially if.
- 17:22Speaker 1: We want the night to keep going dinner alone.
- 17:25Speaker 2: I was like, all right, this is okay, this is
- 17:28Speaker 2: a gonna be a fun night, pricy night, but I'm glad.
- 17:31Speaker 1: I working over the weekends to make sure I could
- 17:32Speaker 1: cover it.
- 17:33Speaker 2: But when we went to that and we were making
- 17:35Speaker 2: our way all the way down Central, we walked like
- 17:36Speaker 2: three miles together, just bar to bar to bar, we
- 17:39Speaker 2: stopped in we had a random like moment with somebody's
- 17:42Speaker 2: birthday party. We saw birth and again another tangent of
- 17:46Speaker 2: what I like in someone is their spontaneous attitude, their
- 17:50Speaker 2: attitude to say, fit, let's see what happens. We saw
- 17:53Speaker 2: a little birthday party going on in a restaurant. We
- 17:56Speaker 2: just literally walked in. We started singing Happy Birthday with
- 17:58Speaker 2: the family owner of the restaurant.
- 18:00Speaker 1: It was their birthday. They're like, oh my god, come in.
- 18:03Speaker 2: They gave us beers and food, and we're like, this
- 18:06Speaker 2: is so cool. We dance with the people, we talk
- 18:07Speaker 2: with the strangers. It felt like a movie of how
- 18:11Speaker 2: every adventure led to like a new scene.
- 18:13Speaker 1: And then we walked further down.
- 18:15Speaker 2: We made it all the way down Central, three miles
- 18:17Speaker 2: in at the bar that we were actually searching for.
- 18:20Speaker 2: It's like, what is that movie Harold and Kumora's Adventure
- 18:22Speaker 2: or whatever. We finally get to the destination. You finally
- 18:24Speaker 2: get to White Castle, and we're like, finally there. What
- 18:27Speaker 2: we were hoping for was like a show and music.
- 18:29Speaker 2: But it was two thirty in the morning.
- 18:32Speaker 1: They were shutting down.
- 18:33Speaker 2: They were shutting down, so we got one drink, We
- 18:35Speaker 2: sat on the couch, we started talking.
- 18:37Speaker 1: It was just so smooth and so easy.
- 18:40Speaker 2: I'm not gonna say I'm waiting for another shoe to drop,
- 18:44Speaker 2: but it was just wild to me and kind of intimidate,
- 18:46Speaker 2: because if you listen to this podcast, you know, like,
- 18:48Speaker 2: my whole thing is to just be single. I want
- 18:51Speaker 2: to just be single, do you though, Okay, let me
- 18:55Speaker 2: take that.
- 18:55Speaker 1: I think I don't want to be single, correct.
- 18:58Speaker 2: I want to truly find what I'm looking for and
- 19:00Speaker 2: myself and other people. And I don't want to just
- 19:02Speaker 2: jump in out of the comfort of jumping in.
- 19:05Speaker 1: Yeah, that's what I think I'm avoiding.
- 19:07Speaker 3: You don't want to be single. I think maybe you
- 19:09Speaker 3: think you need to be single.
- 19:11Speaker 2: Correct, But I feel like I had this conversation five
- 19:13Speaker 2: years ago where it was like, you know, you need
- 19:17Speaker 2: to be single to just, you know, find what you want,
- 19:19Speaker 2: do what you want. And so I am doing that
- 19:22Speaker 2: right now, and so in this process, I'm learning a
- 19:24Speaker 2: lot about what I like. But dang, when you walk
- 19:27Speaker 2: away from a date of things that you really like,
- 19:29Speaker 2: it makes it really hard. You're like, Okay, if I'm
- 19:33Speaker 2: looking at all my boxes of what I want, it's
- 19:34Speaker 2: like check check check chick, chick.
- 19:36Speaker 1: Damn it. Well boxes didn't she check? Gosh? I hm,
- 19:42Speaker 1: I can't think of any that were not matched. Wow,
- 19:46Speaker 1: it was a good date. It was a great date.
- 19:48Speaker 1: It's a fantastic date. A fantastic date. Have you been
- 19:52Speaker 1: talking since then? We set up?
- 19:54Speaker 2: We haven't set up another time, but I did message
- 19:57Speaker 2: her afterwards and I was like, that was awesome. You know,
- 20:00Speaker 2: I think I want to make sure that she feels
- 20:01Speaker 2: the same way. I would love to do it again.
- 20:04Speaker 3: Can you imagine after seven hours she's like, Eh.
- 20:07Speaker 1: I honestly kind of because I don't know.
- 20:09Speaker 2: You know, you've I had it before where you think
- 20:12Speaker 2: everything's great in person and then you literally never talk
- 20:15Speaker 2: to that person again.
- 20:16Speaker 1: Actually, oh my god.
- 20:17Speaker 2: I can't say any names, but you know exactly what
- 20:19Speaker 2: I'm talking about. I went on just a casual date
- 20:21Speaker 2: with somebody just a couple of weeks ago, and it
- 20:24Speaker 2: was awesome, great conversation, great flow, and then literally abby
- 20:29Speaker 2: nothing like, not a single.
- 20:31Speaker 1: Word, Oh you're walking day.
- 20:33Speaker 3: Yes, well, because sometimes you get with people and I'm
- 20:36Speaker 3: speaking for myself as a yapper. I'm a yapper and
- 20:39Speaker 3: sometimes I'm just enjoying myself because I'm like, I'm funny.
- 20:42Speaker 1: But we were again, it was somebody that could like.
- 20:45Speaker 2: This is where I really picked up on how much
- 20:46Speaker 2: I love that energy. Everything I said, she could respond
- 20:49Speaker 2: to everything she said.
- 20:50Speaker 1: I just flowed so nicely.
- 20:53Speaker 2: So that kind of ft with my brain because I
- 20:55Speaker 2: was like, yeah, we went and had an amazing time,
- 20:57Speaker 2: multiple hours, multiple miles walked, and then like nothing.
- 21:01Speaker 1: But maybe she just felt more of a friend vibe.
- 21:04Speaker 2: But even if it's your friend, like I have definitely
- 21:07Speaker 2: messaged them on Instagram. Yeah, and I haven't gotten it
- 21:11Speaker 2: was just weird. It was like on Instagram before the
- 21:13Speaker 2: walking dat it was like message message message, laugh, laugh laugh.
- 21:16Speaker 1: Respond responderspond walking.
- 21:18Speaker 2: Date, amazing chemistry, great time, very similar, awesome personality.
- 21:23Speaker 1: After that, nothing, I'm so sorry. Well, I mean, I'm
- 21:28Speaker 1: cool with it.
- 21:29Speaker 2: Here's the thing that I try to tell my friends.
- 21:31Speaker 2: I try to tell the people in my circle. I
- 21:33Speaker 2: don't take it personally, like I tell a very close
- 21:35Speaker 2: friend of mine when these things happen, like, don't take
- 21:37Speaker 2: it personally because how I view it, my belief is
- 21:39Speaker 2: every no is just leading me to the right one.
- 21:42Speaker 2: That's how it was with jobs, that's how it's been
- 21:44Speaker 2: with relationships. That things don't work out, it's because there's
- 21:46Speaker 2: something better down the line, because.
- 21:48Speaker 3: You wouldn't want that person to say yes and string
- 21:50Speaker 3: you along if the feeling for them wasn't there exactly,
- 21:53Speaker 3: because then you would have never gone out on the
- 21:55Speaker 3: dates right afterwards. Dates two and three correct with these
- 21:58Speaker 3: other women. That's exactly four other girlfriends.
- 22:02Speaker 1: I think I'm doing exactly what you're supposed to do.
- 22:04Speaker 1: You are, I mean for finding a girlfriend.
- 22:07Speaker 3: Yes, it's definitely keeping your options open, trying to figure
- 22:10Speaker 3: out what you like, and I think you've narrowed it
- 22:12Speaker 3: down to somebody that you want to see again. So
- 22:14Speaker 3: my question for you now is how are you going
- 22:16Speaker 3: to break up with your other girlfriends?
- 22:19Speaker 1: I don't think there's any needs and are you and
- 22:22Speaker 1: are you going to break up with them?
- 22:24Speaker 2: Okay, first off, let me make sure this is very clear.
- 22:26Speaker 2: I have been open and honest with everybody. Yes, I
- 22:29Speaker 2: know one thing I messed up on the last time
- 22:31Speaker 2: I was single, as I tried to just be like, oh.
- 22:34Speaker 1: I don't know, I'm just kind of don't.
- 22:37Speaker 2: And women called me out. They're like, okay, first off,
- 22:40Speaker 2: you were never straight up. You like, you're just not
- 22:43Speaker 2: putting an effort. And I was like, oh, that's because
- 22:45Speaker 2: I'm not looking for anything. And they're like, okay, well
- 22:47Speaker 2: I'm done with this. I'm like, oh, understandable.
- 22:49Speaker 1: That was kind of a jerk thing to do.
- 22:51Speaker 2: This time, I really want to make sure that even
- 22:53Speaker 2: as we're talking and things are clicking. I'm like, hey,
- 22:55Speaker 2: you know, I'm also not looking for anything serious. I
- 22:58Speaker 2: want to just see connections. I want to make new friends.
- 23:00Speaker 2: I'm want to make it. If you're not looking for
- 23:02Speaker 2: anything serious, maybe we could just be there for each
- 23:05Speaker 2: other every now and then in.
- 23:07Speaker 1: What capacity Scottie or even something simple. I just go
- 23:10Speaker 1: in on dates and doing thing.
- 23:11Speaker 2: It's still fun to do things with people, and also
- 23:15Speaker 2: to be able to have that trust with each other,
- 23:17Speaker 2: because I think that's hard on a first date. If
- 23:19Speaker 2: I'm always going on first dates, you don't get to
- 23:21Speaker 2: see like a really.
- 23:22Speaker 1: Cool connection that could happen down the line.
- 23:24Speaker 2: I do understand that I'm signing myself up to either
- 23:27Speaker 2: be hurt or to potentially hurt someone else, and that's
- 23:30Speaker 2: support that crushes me where I'm like, damn, we do
- 23:32Speaker 2: have a great connection. We have a great time when
- 23:34Speaker 2: we're together. I also know that you're looking for something
- 23:37Speaker 2: and I'm not. So we could just cut it right now,
- 23:41Speaker 2: or we could fuck.
- 23:45Speaker 3: No.
- 23:45Speaker 2: But it's I again, like, before anything like that happens,
- 23:48Speaker 2: any intimacy, it has to be said that, yeah, I
- 23:51Speaker 2: know what you're looking for, you know what I'm looking for.
- 23:54Speaker 1: If you want to cut it here, that's fine.
- 23:55Speaker 3: I do think that's the line you have to you
- 23:58Speaker 3: have to create. People are like when you sleep with them,
- 24:00Speaker 3: win's too soon, Whin's too late? I think it's whenever
- 24:02Speaker 3: you define the relationship. And that doesn't mean you have
- 24:06Speaker 3: to like be their boyfriend or girlfriend if that's not
- 24:08Speaker 3: your style. But I think you need to define where
- 24:11Speaker 3: are we right now and how is what we're about
- 24:13Speaker 3: to do.
- 24:13Speaker 1: Going to effect where we're going.
- 24:14Speaker 2: And that's why I do truly keep that in mind
- 24:17Speaker 2: because I know that it's like once if there's any
- 24:19Speaker 2: intimacy that happens, like your brain goes into a different
- 24:22Speaker 2: mode of how you view the person, how the interactions go,
- 24:25Speaker 2: the emotions that get tangled up, And so I don't
- 24:28Speaker 2: want again to hurt anybody in this process. So being
- 24:31Speaker 2: open and honest about where I am is what I'm
- 24:34Speaker 2: trying to do. I don't know if it's always heard.
- 24:37Speaker 2: I think that's the part that's like how many times
- 24:39Speaker 2: you say it before it's like you're saying it to
- 24:41Speaker 2: you're blue in the face. Because that's where I'm at
- 24:43Speaker 2: right now. It's like, Okay, we have a great connection.
- 24:46Speaker 2: I'm also not looking for anything serious. But then again,
- 24:50Speaker 2: this the thing that I did last time, before my
- 24:52Speaker 2: last relationship started, was I said to myself, probably this
- 24:55Speaker 2: many months in, I said, well, shoot, this is really fun.
- 24:59Speaker 1: I would love to just see where this goes. And
- 25:01Speaker 1: it was.
- 25:01Speaker 2: It was incredible, And that's the relationship that just ended.
- 25:05Speaker 2: But I think I might have jumped in for two reasons.
- 25:08Speaker 2: I love the connection that we had. It was the
- 25:10Speaker 2: best one I had out of anybody else talking to.
- 25:12Speaker 2: And I also think I was looking for just compatibility connection,
- 25:23Speaker 2: someone to do stuff with, and it led to the relationship.
- 25:26Speaker 2: And I was like, well, I don't want to just
- 25:28Speaker 2: jump into a relationship out of fear of being single.
- 25:31Speaker 2: I think that's the power of me being single right now.
- 25:32Speaker 3: Yeah, you're also just a people person, and so I
- 25:35Speaker 3: think there's a part of you that's missing that type
- 25:37Speaker 3: of connection because you are such a people person.
- 25:39Speaker 1: Yeah, well that's what I mean.
- 25:40Speaker 2: It's like, there's so many moments right now that I'm like,
- 25:42Speaker 2: damn it, how that would be so fun with a partner.
- 25:47Speaker 2: But I also want to get really comfortable being alone,
- 25:50Speaker 2: you know. And when Bruno Mars says, dance with me,
- 25:52Speaker 2: I want to dance with me myself and I, no.
- 25:55Speaker 1: You don't.
- 25:56Speaker 3: Don't you want a beautiful line, don't lie to me,
- 25:59Speaker 3: don't look at me in my face and say I
- 26:01Speaker 3: want to be by myself.
- 26:02Speaker 1: I'm Scottie. I want to be single. It just sounds
- 26:04Speaker 1: so nice. I want to be single and have seven girlfriends.
- 26:08Speaker 1: It is a lot.
- 26:09Speaker 2: And I even though people know that I am in
- 26:13Speaker 2: that world of being single and I'm out dating, I
- 26:15Speaker 2: still do feel bad. It's very weird to be on
- 26:17Speaker 2: a date and then also like after the date, texting
- 26:21Speaker 2: them and then texting somebody else.
- 26:22Speaker 1: That still feels very icky. I know.
- 26:24Speaker 3: That's why I think we as a collective, maybe we
- 26:27Speaker 3: do this tomorrow. I think it's time for you to
- 26:30Speaker 3: break up with that girlfriend that you don't like. Oh
- 26:33Speaker 3: you don't like her. I do like her, you do
- 26:35Speaker 3: not like her?
- 26:36Speaker 1: Okay. She could be literally listening to well, this is
- 26:38Speaker 1: me telling you that he doesn't want to date you. What,
- 26:42Speaker 1: oh my god. Romantically, she's not listening. She might not
- 26:46Speaker 1: even think. She's like, this isn't about me. That's true.
- 26:49Speaker 1: The way I know you're not.
- 26:51Speaker 3: Into her in this way, I'm sure she's a great girl,
- 26:52Speaker 3: like this is not like, oh, I'm sure, I'm sure
- 26:54Speaker 3: she's lovely. You too, are not a match because every
- 26:58Speaker 3: time you talk about her, your voice goes up in octave.
- 27:01Speaker 3: And I tell you this, every single time Scotty goes
- 27:04Speaker 3: and give me a word, give me, give me a sentence,
- 27:08Speaker 3: can't give me a sentence. Okay, so Scotty's coming back.
- 27:11Speaker 3: I'm like, how did the date go last night? How
- 27:13Speaker 3: was blah blah blah blah blah, And he goes, it
- 27:15Speaker 3: was really good.
- 27:18Speaker 1: I really liked it.
- 27:19Speaker 2: I think I'm closed off, though, to the idea of
- 27:22Speaker 2: trying to turn something serious. That's where even this amazing
- 27:25Speaker 2: date this weekend, hmm, I think I'm more open to
- 27:29Speaker 2: seeing where it goes.
- 27:30Speaker 1: That's what I mean.
- 27:31Speaker 3: Is your eyes lit up when you were talking about
- 27:33Speaker 3: the Scroll and doesn't mean one is better than the other.
- 27:35Speaker 3: One is just better for you. I think a word, yeah, yeah,
- 27:38Speaker 3: because I don't want to shit on her.
- 27:40Speaker 1: I don't know the Scroll. By the way, I liked
- 27:42Speaker 1: the stories that I come into the studio with.
- 27:45Speaker 3: I've gone on other than the one that I know.
- 27:47Speaker 3: She's an amba in my head, like she's just she's
- 27:50Speaker 3: just a face. Lights blohbless, like I don't know this
- 27:52Speaker 3: girl at all. It's all I know is the way
- 27:54Speaker 3: that Scotty communicates when I ask how the dates go,
- 27:57Speaker 3: and you always have positive things to say because such
- 27:59Speaker 3: a positive person. But I can tell that you're not
- 28:01Speaker 3: being honest with me but your true feelings or you're
- 28:04Speaker 3: describing how you're feeling, but you're saying how you want
- 28:07Speaker 3: to feel versus how you actually feel.
- 28:09Speaker 1: That's a good way to put that's poetry out. This
- 28:16Speaker 1: is why we have these conversations.
- 28:17Speaker 2: Though, this is it, But I also I still want
- 28:20Speaker 2: to oh this is words.
- 28:21Speaker 1: Hmmm. I just I'll take it day by day. I'll
- 28:25Speaker 1: take it date by date.
- 28:26Speaker 2: That's exactly right, because I don't want to just rush
- 28:29Speaker 2: into something. But I also, gosh, when there's a good connection,
- 28:34Speaker 2: you're like, what am I supposed to just say no?
- 28:35Speaker 1: Because I'm supposed to be single?
- 28:37Speaker 3: I know, But so if it's the right connection, then
- 28:39Speaker 3: move forward with it. But I told you this, and
- 28:41Speaker 3: actually I'm not saying this is what's gonna happen. But
- 28:43Speaker 3: remember last episode of the episode before, I'm like Scott,
- 28:46Speaker 3: he's gonna get himself into a situationship that it's going
- 28:49Speaker 3: to ruin his life.
- 28:50Speaker 1: Oh my god, is this is the one? I think this is? Okay.
- 28:52Speaker 3: Now, I'm not putting this on into the universe. I'm
- 28:55Speaker 3: just saying that's what I predicted. And everything you're telling
- 28:58Speaker 3: me you want is peak. I want a situation vibes,
- 29:02Speaker 3: because last time I was in a situationship, I was like,
- 29:05Speaker 3: I wish we could just be best friends.
- 29:07Speaker 1: That make out. Damn. You know that TikTok on making
- 29:09Speaker 1: out and nothing else.
- 29:11Speaker 3: I was like, I just liked, like hanging out with
- 29:13Speaker 3: him and making out with him, but I don't want
- 29:15Speaker 3: him to be my.
- 29:15Speaker 1: Boyfriend, damn. And you just kind of described the same
- 29:19Speaker 1: thing where it's like I just want to like companionship. Well, damn,
- 29:23Speaker 1: I wish.
- 29:23Speaker 3: I'm not saying that's what you want with this girl.
- 29:25Speaker 3: You seem to really like her. I'm very much I'm
- 29:27Speaker 3: advocating for this relationship if it's right.
- 29:29Speaker 2: Well, what you guys are lucky is I think if
- 29:31Speaker 2: I was like eight months down the line, I'd be like, oh, yeah,
- 29:33Speaker 2: for sure, I'm gonna turn this into like something serious.
- 29:36Speaker 1: But it's also date one.
- 29:37Speaker 3: I think you got to give it two to three
- 29:39Speaker 3: before you determine whether or not it's going somewhere, because
- 29:42Speaker 3: right now I think date one.
- 29:43Speaker 1: Is just do you like them? You do like her?
- 29:46Speaker 3: So Date two is do I like her? And could
- 29:48Speaker 3: I see this going somewhere? And then date three answers
- 29:51Speaker 3: that question, Oh this is going somewhere. That's I've been
- 29:57Speaker 3: around the block a few times, Scottie.
- 29:59Speaker 2: Gosh, there are a couple of things that we're gonna
- 30:02Speaker 2: actually be talking about this week too, because as much
- 30:03Speaker 2: as Abby has been a wing woman for me, it
- 30:05Speaker 2: is now time for me to be a great wing
- 30:06Speaker 2: man because we are gonna go out to an activity
- 30:09Speaker 2: this week.
- 30:10Speaker 1: I'm so excited. M effers that don't run. We're going
- 30:14Speaker 1: to run club, but you're not running. Well.
- 30:16Speaker 2: It's one of the most popular quote unquote run clubs
- 30:19Speaker 2: in Tampa.
- 30:19Speaker 1: Bay Walk Club social club. It's a social club where
- 30:22Speaker 1: you're a little active.
- 30:24Speaker 2: Absolutely, it's an opportunity to meet someone new and the
- 30:28Speaker 2: people there, I mean, honestly, the most intimidating part is
- 30:32Speaker 2: that from what I have seen, there are gorgeous people there.
- 30:36Speaker 1: I mean, anytime I've gone to one of these run clubs.
- 30:38Speaker 2: I'm like, God, the guys here, like I have worked
- 30:41Speaker 2: my f mean tail off for years, and there are
- 30:45Speaker 2: guys that walk there like Greek gods, and I'm.
- 30:47Speaker 1: Like, God, gotta you have a great body the guy.
- 30:51Speaker 2: Okay, I'm when you see these men, you're definitely competitive,
- 30:56Speaker 2: Like you're not showing up like you know, Paul Blurt Copse.
- 31:01Speaker 2: They're tall and chiseled, got them salivating, probably run faster than.
- 31:06Speaker 1: Me, Harry.
- 31:06Speaker 3: Okay, we'll have to talk about this later in the week,
- 31:08Speaker 3: but tomorrow we are interviewing the organizer, the creator, the founder.
- 31:13Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 31:13Speaker 2: I forget like that we need the inside because I've
- 31:16Speaker 2: gone to run clubs with friends before. But I think
- 31:18Speaker 2: if you don't go consistent enough, you missed the whole point. Yeah,
- 31:21Speaker 2: and that's the idea of making friends and connections and
- 31:24Speaker 2: maybe love.
- 31:25Speaker 3: But Scotty and I are both we're so competitive socially
- 31:28Speaker 3: that we're like, we want to go and we want.
- 31:29Speaker 1: To be the cool kids.
- 31:30Speaker 3: Yeah, we want we want the organizer to be there
- 31:34Speaker 3: and be like Scotty and we.
- 31:37Speaker 1: Would be we would be in the ingroup.
- 31:39Speaker 2: It's kind of like you know someone already there, so
- 31:41Speaker 2: you already feel a little more comfortable walking up into
- 31:44Speaker 2: a random ass group of people.
- 31:45Speaker 3: Yeah, if we're not gonna be the hottest there, we're
- 31:48Speaker 3: gonna be the most popular one.
- 31:50Speaker 1: So we're gonna call.
- 31:52Speaker 3: And ask and be like, Okay, so what's the best
- 31:56Speaker 3: way to assimilate? What's the best way to start a conversation?
- 31:58Speaker 3: Is it the kind of thing where you don't I
- 32:00Speaker 3: don't show up on time? Do you show up early?
- 32:01Speaker 3: Do you show up late?
- 32:02Speaker 1: What are the vibes we need to set up? I don't.
- 32:05Speaker 1: They might do this already, But I went to a
- 32:06Speaker 1: running festival and there was a marathon. It was like, literally,
- 32:13Speaker 1: well they did.
- 32:14Speaker 2: An event where it was like a singles run or
- 32:16Speaker 2: like a singles or taken or whatever.
- 32:18Speaker 1: You put on a la that showed what you were. Oh.
- 32:21Speaker 1: I love that. It was so cool because immediately.
- 32:24Speaker 2: You're like, it's like every quarter or every half mile
- 32:26Speaker 2: you had to buddy up with somebody knew, So you
- 32:28Speaker 2: got a half mile to run or walk with somebody,
- 32:30Speaker 2: get to know them, okay, and then you switch.
- 32:32Speaker 3: You want to know why I love this because I'm
- 32:34Speaker 3: picturing a five care or whatever and you're just doing
- 32:36Speaker 3: a light jog and then some guy comes up and
- 32:38Speaker 3: it's like and you can just run away from him.
- 32:40Speaker 3: What's he gonna say, stop running pace? You're gonna tell
- 32:44Speaker 3: you to stop running during the five k.
- 32:45Speaker 2: Now that I think about it, I'm like, maybe that's
- 32:46Speaker 2: why some people like, actually stop. They're like, I'm just
- 32:48Speaker 2: gonna walk the rest.
- 32:49Speaker 1: I'm like, yeah, are you that's what that was happening.
- 32:52Speaker 1: That's what was happening insight now.
- 32:54Speaker 2: But I wonder if they do that at this that'd
- 32:56Speaker 2: be so smart. Any they do it in Miami, I know,
- 32:58Speaker 2: like because that's who it was organized at this festival,
- 33:01Speaker 2: These run club guys from Miami.
- 33:03Speaker 1: They're like, we do this there for singles. Put on
- 33:05Speaker 1: this laide laid lead, laid to laid pipeline. Okay, laid
- 33:13Speaker 1: laid to laying pipeline. That's gonna be our running club anyway,
- 33:15Speaker 1: that's what we should do. Lay pipe with us. Nope,
- 33:19Speaker 1: but that's gonna be fun. Very excited to get that insight.
- 33:21Speaker 1: We'll do that tomorrow. And you need to wing woman
- 33:24Speaker 1: me at crunch. I already don't even know how to
- 33:26Speaker 1: wing man myself at crunch. Yeah, but maybe if I
- 33:29Speaker 1: show up, but I just have like full tits out, Hey,
- 33:32Speaker 1: just all the way out approach.
- 33:35Speaker 3: Hey, it's chest day, that's just what it MEANSPEC day.
- 33:39Speaker 1: I think the best way to do is like do
- 33:41Speaker 1: a hit class.
- 33:41Speaker 2: I know, it's kind of like the most not it's
- 33:43Speaker 2: not the most attractive if you're breathing heavy next to somebody,
- 33:46Speaker 2: but you are little.
- 33:47Speaker 1: I just go and you can hype people up. The
- 33:49Speaker 1: men that I want a date aren't going to hit
- 33:51Speaker 1: class though. Who are they going? They're going to weight
- 33:54Speaker 1: lifting class that you're lifting and hit a yeah, like
- 33:58Speaker 1: a berries or an F forty five. Well no, I
- 34:00Speaker 1: mean we just do our own. It's like, I don't
- 34:02Speaker 1: go to forty five. I don't know that gym. I
- 34:04Speaker 1: know it's popular, yeah, but I mean that kind of
- 34:07Speaker 1: workout where it's like lift weights, run.
- 34:09Speaker 2: Run, lift, jump, jump, swirl, summersault, flip a thing if
- 34:15Speaker 2: you ever in French.
- 34:16Speaker 1: We could do a class and you could actually have
- 34:18Speaker 1: a chance to meet people. And I wanted to get
- 34:19Speaker 1: a Boola next week. Oh my god, boo, you're on
- 34:22Speaker 1: your zoom a cruise.
- 34:23Speaker 2: Yes, there's a lot to talk about, there's a lot
- 34:25Speaker 2: to dive in there. There's a lot of adventures that
- 34:27Speaker 2: are about to happen. Yeah, so okay, let's make sure
- 34:29Speaker 2: that we get this update through the week. We'll talk
- 34:31Speaker 2: to the owner founder of Mfor's that don't run tomorrow.
- 34:36Speaker 2: A lot of stuff happening all the pre game before

- 35:16Speaker 2: When we talk about because I think you were answering
- 35:18Speaker 2: someone's question the other day, maybe it was on Instagram.
- 35:20Speaker 2: It's like, how could we support you Abby on this
- 35:23Speaker 2: journey or how can we support you guys doing a
- 35:25Speaker 2: bigger show. Those are moments like the downloads, the shares,
