- 0:00Speaker 1: So Mark Simone show on seven tenor Hey, let's take
- 0:06Speaker 1: some calls eight hundred three two one zero seven tennis
- 0:10Speaker 1: and I'm going let's go to Jacqueline and Brooklyn. Jacqueline,
- 0:13Speaker 1: how you doing, Hi? Mark?
- 0:14Speaker 2: Good? A little cold, but okay, I have a question
- 0:18Speaker 2: for you.
- 0:19Speaker 3: Uh.
- 0:20Speaker 2: Nick Reiner, the son of the late Rob and Michelle Reiner.
- 0:26Speaker 2: I don't know if you knew them at all. No
- 0:28Speaker 2: one is talking at all about whether or not he
- 0:30Speaker 2: had any type of mental illness or whether he was
- 0:32Speaker 2: on the spectrum Asperger's anything like that.
- 0:36Speaker 1: Yeah, Nick Reiner, Yeah, obviously he was completely psycho, had
- 0:40Speaker 1: a million mental problems. I never met, I knew Rob Reiner,
- 0:43Speaker 1: I didn't know the wife. I never met Nick, But
- 0:46Speaker 1: just looking at pictures and behavior, yeah, exactly, completely psycho
- 0:50Speaker 1: this kid, yep, yep.
- 0:51Speaker 2: He looked like there was something very wrong with him.
- 0:54Speaker 2: And everyone keeps talking about his drug addiction, his homelessness,
- 0:58Speaker 2: but no one ever mentioned anything. And there's no information
- 1:01Speaker 2: available online about whether or not he had any type
- 1:05Speaker 2: of problems.
- 1:06Speaker 1: No, no, no, no, no, of course there is. And he
- 1:07Speaker 1: was in rehab seventeen times and he was treated by
- 1:10Speaker 1: all kinds of healthcare professionals. And you could look back
- 1:14Speaker 1: and say Rob Reiner should have done more, done something differently.
- 1:17Speaker 1: But he Rob Reiner said, you know, I'd meet with
- 1:21Speaker 1: these experts at the clinics and the doctors, and he
- 1:23Speaker 1: said they had all their diplomas on the wall. So
- 1:25Speaker 1: I just listened to them. I don't know if you're
- 1:28Speaker 1: if you had a kid who was homeless, sleeping on
- 1:32Speaker 1: the streets, if you were a wealthy person and your
- 1:34Speaker 1: kid was sleeping on the streets, and apparently he was
- 1:38Speaker 1: homeless many different times through the years, and you know why.
- 1:41Speaker 1: He was homeless in Texas, he was homeless, in Maine,
- 1:43Speaker 1: he was homeless. I don't know, would you leave your
- 1:46Speaker 1: kid out there? Would you do something which you haven't
- 1:48Speaker 1: committed in some I mean, whatever Rob Reiner did, and
- 1:52Speaker 1: I'm sure he did a lot, it just obviously wasn't enough.
- 1:55Speaker 1: He didn't do enough. Let's go to Mike in Florida. Mike,
- 1:58Speaker 1: how you doing, Yes, Mike.
- 2:02Speaker 4: You know, just.
- 2:05Speaker 3: Talk about what you were just speaking about. You know,
- 2:06Speaker 3: many drug addicts are self medicating because of their mental illness.
- 2:10Speaker 3: They go they get treatment, they don't like the drugs
- 2:12Speaker 3: that they are traditionally prescribed, and they like to self medicate.
- 2:16Speaker 3: So that's sort of like the vicious cycle of many
- 2:19Speaker 3: of them. Me in it's mental illness that causes drug addiction.
- 2:22Speaker 3: But you know the other thing about this story that,
- 2:25Speaker 3: besides the gruesome nature of it and the circumstances, is
- 2:29Speaker 3: the plaudits he's receiving. Deservedly of course, but I wonder
- 2:33Speaker 3: sometimes if the gods have been the president were killed,
- 2:36Speaker 3: he would receive the same growing. I know it's a
- 2:40Speaker 3: macabre thought, but it's it's I can't help thinking about
- 2:44Speaker 3: it in those terms.
- 2:45Speaker 1: No, it's a good point. You know. Obviously, if President
- 2:49Speaker 1: Trump died, you'd see them calling him every name in
- 2:52Speaker 1: the world, these same people. How could he speak like
- 2:55Speaker 1: that about Rob Reiner after he died. They do the
- 2:57Speaker 1: same thing with Donald Trump, And by the way, most
- 2:59Speaker 1: of them did the same thing to Rush Limbaugh. If
- 3:03Speaker 1: you go to my Twitter, we have a clip up
- 3:05Speaker 1: of the view where everyone on the panel, this is
- 3:07Speaker 1: the day after Rush died. Trashism calls them all kinds
- 3:11Speaker 1: of I mean, just awful, And you could find a
- 3:14Speaker 1: million of these same people said horrible things about Rush
- 3:17Speaker 1: right after he died. So to be outraged about what
- 3:20Speaker 1: President Trump said. Again the hypocrisy Democrats are famous for.
- 3:24Speaker 1: Let's go to Pam and Patterson. Pam, how you doing?
- 3:28Speaker 3: Hi?
- 3:29Speaker 4: I think the other members of the Christmas party at
- 3:34Speaker 4: Conan's house can consider themselves lucky because I think he
- 3:38Speaker 4: was gearing himself up at that moment, and Bill Hayter
- 3:43Speaker 4: seems to have gotten his attention and wearing that hoodie,
- 3:47Speaker 4: so I think he was raging right then and there.
- 3:50Speaker 4: And I think when his parents decided to leave, you know,
- 3:54Speaker 4: that broke his momentum for that.
- 3:56Speaker 1: Yeah, well it's interesting. You know, had he not killed
- 4:02Speaker 1: his parents gotten arrested, who knows that this kid would
- 4:05Speaker 1: have done. Who knows who he might have killed, hurt, maimed.
- 4:08Speaker 1: Who knows what this kid might have done had he
- 4:11Speaker 1: just been left to be walking out on the streets
- 4:14Speaker 1: and be free, he should have obviously been committed someplace.
- 4:19Speaker 1: I mean, he was just a time bomb waiting to
- 4:21Speaker 1: go off, waiting to kill somebody. Just unbelievable story. The
- 4:26Speaker 1: most people have been checking into this. The most famous
- 4:30Speaker 1: murder of anybody in Hollywood, I mean, the most famous
- 4:32Speaker 1: victim murdered in Hollywood ever. Anyway, when we come back,
- 4:35Speaker 1: Bill O'Reilly will be with us and we'll talk to
- 4:37Speaker 1: him about all of this. Coming up next on seven
- 4:39Speaker 1: to ten wor
