- 0:00Speaker 1: An illegal alien from Guatemala charged with raping a child
- 0:03Speaker 1: in Massachusetts. An MS thirteen gang member from Al Salvador
- 0:07Speaker 1: accused of murdering a Texas man of Venezuelan charged with
- 0:11Speaker 1: filming and selling child pornography in Michigan. These are just
- 0:15Speaker 1: some of the heinous migrant criminals caught because of President
- 0:19Speaker 1: Donald J. Trump's leadership. I'm Christy nom the United States
- 0:23Speaker 1: Secretary of Homeland Security. Under President Trump, attempted illegal border
- 0:28Speaker 1: crossings are at the lowest levels ever recorded, and over
- 0:31Speaker 1: one hundred thousand illegal aliens have been arrested. If you
- 0:35Speaker 1: are here illegally, your next you will be fined nearly
- 0:39Speaker 1: one thousand dollars a day, imprisoned, and deported. You will
- 0:43Speaker 1: never return. But if you register using our CBP home
- 0:46Speaker 1: app and leave now, you could be allowed to return legally.
- 0:50Speaker 1: Do what's right. Leave now. Under President Trump, America's laws,
- 0:55Speaker 1: border and families will be protected.
- 0:57Speaker 2: Sponsored by the United States Department of Homeland Security.
- 1:00Speaker 3: So let's talk about a lot of times people will say, like, well,
- 1:02Speaker 3: you know, by the time you guys talk about a
- 1:04Speaker 3: stock it's already at this all time high, and it's
- 1:06Speaker 3: already late it's already too late to invest in it.
- 1:11Speaker 3: But if you if you want to take some more risk.
- 1:15Speaker 3: Let's talk about one big name company that's not it's
- 1:18Speaker 3: all time high that's actually dropped pretty drastically, Tesla. So,
- 1:23Speaker 3: Tesla's fifty two week high was two hundred and ninety
- 1:25Speaker 3: nine dollars, and it's hovering around one hundred and eighty
- 1:28Speaker 3: eight dollars right now. It's down sixty dollars this year
- 1:31Speaker 3: year to date, down sixty dollars. It's fifty two weeks low.
- 1:35Speaker 3: Its one hundred and fifty two dollars, So it's not
- 1:37Speaker 3: too low for a fifty two weeks not too happening.
- 1:38Speaker 4: A fifty two weeks low.
- 1:41Speaker 3: Tesla's stock is of interest because some people look at
- 1:48Speaker 3: it like, you know, he just came out and said
- 1:50Speaker 3: Elon just came out and talked about Elon uh ev
- 1:53Speaker 3: competition coming from China and how if no regulation and
- 1:57Speaker 3: government support is done.
- 1:58Speaker 4: They're going to just go crazy.
- 2:01Speaker 3: So some people might look at Tesla's stock as an
- 2:04Speaker 3: opportunity because it's down right, it's one hundred dollars lower
- 2:09Speaker 3: than it's fifty two weeks high, So it's like, okay,
- 2:12Speaker 3: forty percent off of is high. This is an opportunity
- 2:16Speaker 3: to buy. And then some people might look at it
- 2:18Speaker 3: like Tesla's best days are behind them, and in the
- 2:22Speaker 3: best case scenario, they'll probably move sideways. Worst case scenario,
- 2:25Speaker 3: they might they might just continue to go down for
- 2:27Speaker 3: it for a while. Right, and Elon Muss is extremely
- 2:31Speaker 3: erratic in his behavior.
- 2:33Speaker 4: The prediction has.
- 2:34Speaker 5: Come true about him being the Kanye West of tech
- 2:37Speaker 5: for sure.
- 2:38Speaker 4: For sure, So.
- 2:41Speaker 3: What what is your opinion as far as Tesla's stock
- 2:45Speaker 3: is concerned.
- 2:47Speaker 6: Both things can be true, so they could have the
- 2:50Speaker 6: best days behind them, but it can also be a
- 2:53Speaker 6: great investment opportunity. For disclosure, I've been in investment in
- 2:57Speaker 6: Tesla forever. It's a picking stock club. But remember last
- 3:00Speaker 6: year I was saying, you can't have a luxury brand
- 3:02Speaker 6: and then discounted like I said, paylus you. That's come
- 3:06Speaker 6: to bite them in the ass. If a car is
- 3:09Speaker 6: over sixty grand, they are classified as a luxury vehicle.
- 3:13Speaker 6: They used cars are selling forty percent and most people,
- 3:17Speaker 6: if you bought from twenty nineteen on, you are underwater.
- 3:21Speaker 6: Gotta put the cocaine down, got to pick some new
- 3:24Speaker 6: management up. Starlink of course, is a darling company that
- 3:30Speaker 6: he has that is probably three times better than Tesla.
- 3:33Speaker 6: But we're seeing an issue of him even saying, well,
- 3:36Speaker 6: I won't invest this technology or AI into Tesla unless
- 3:39Speaker 6: I have control of interest. Well, you shouldn't have bought
- 3:41Speaker 6: that dead, dying ass bird of a media company.
- 3:46Speaker 5: I propose.
- 3:49Speaker 6: If the stock continues to run this way over the
- 3:52Speaker 6: next year, the Tesla needs a new CEO.
- 3:55Speaker 5: I think he should remain on the board.
- 3:57Speaker 6: He may need his Steve jobs a moment where he
- 4:01Speaker 6: goes off and works on another project and focus solely
- 4:04Speaker 6: into Starlink. But if you look at the margins are
- 4:07Speaker 6: being compressed, I don't agree with the analyst saying that
- 4:10Speaker 6: the stock could drop to eighty five. I would like
- 4:12Speaker 6: to pick it up at one hundred and thirty five dollars.
- 4:14Speaker 6: I will go heavy in there. But the stock has
- 4:18Speaker 6: not performed well. Hedge funds are not in favor of it.
- 4:22Speaker 6: You also have to remember that him and Biden don't
- 4:25Speaker 6: have the best relationship. I thought it was interesting that
- 4:29Speaker 6: Amazon decided to go with Rivian instead of Tesla, and
- 4:32Speaker 6: you're the market leader, so he's pissed it. In Kanye
- 4:35Speaker 6: West fashion, he's upset a few people over these last
- 4:38Speaker 6: four years, and as people have less discretionary income. And
- 4:43Speaker 6: let's be honest, that Tesla does not look better than
- 4:45Speaker 6: Mercedes BMW. It does not look better than a lot
- 4:48Speaker 6: of gms, the Highlander. There's nine cars I can name
- 4:51Speaker 6: to look better than that Tesla. Everyone has that large
- 4:54Speaker 6: iPad screen.
- 4:54Speaker 5: Now, what are you gonna do?
- 4:56Speaker 6: He has not delivered on that cyber truck, even though
- 4:58Speaker 6: Kanye West look cool when he hopped out of it.
- 5:01Speaker 5: I think they need a shake up in management.
- 5:03Speaker 6: I think he should remain chairman, but I think they
- 5:06Speaker 6: need a visionary CEO like Asatia, like a Jensen that
- 5:11Speaker 6: will focus solely on the business to drive Tesla higher.
- 5:14Speaker 5: But I still like the stock, but we just need
- 5:16Speaker 5: new management.
- 5:17Speaker 4: Do you believe in him as a CEO?
- 5:19Speaker 7: I think that that let's start there, right if you
- 5:22Speaker 7: mentioned all these things, and obviously we think of I
- 5:25Speaker 7: don't think anyone's saying that Tesla won't be here long term,
- 5:29Speaker 7: But do you believe in him as the CEO of
- 5:31Speaker 7: the company.
- 5:32Speaker 6: I think he's one of the greatest entrepreneur mins we've
- 5:34Speaker 6: ever had, but he's not focused. Let me ask you
- 5:37Speaker 6: guys a question, Yeah, would you let him run earn
- 5:39Speaker 6: your leisure?
- 5:40Speaker 5: Right? Now, that's talent in it.
- 5:45Speaker 7: I preface it because it's interesting, right, Like, is this
- 5:50Speaker 7: you preferenced Steve Jobs? But I feel like two years ago,
- 5:56Speaker 7: maybe three years ago, there was this moment for Mark Zuckerberg,
- 6:00Speaker 7: and it was there's a moment right where there's doubt
- 6:03Speaker 7: around your company. You're in front of Congress every other week.
- 6:08Speaker 7: You make this decision about an industry that people aren't
- 6:12Speaker 7: really sure of, that you don't really have any ownership
- 6:15Speaker 7: over right the metaverse, you're putting fifty billion dollars in.
- 6:19Speaker 7: People are watching mistake after mistake. Apparently right from this view,
- 6:23Speaker 7: you're losing leadership. Chryl Samdberg leaves, We're seeing all these
- 6:26Speaker 7: things and then there becomes that moment of.
- 6:29Speaker 4: Doubt and what happens?
- 6:32Speaker 5: How what's the response?
- 6:34Speaker 4: How will you respond?
- 6:35Speaker 7: And meta has from that moment, we've seen his leadership change,
- 6:41Speaker 7: we saw them correct some of the mistakes, and we've
- 6:44Speaker 7: seen it bounce back. Is this that meta moment for Tesla?
- 6:49Speaker 5: Are we at that point?
- 6:51Speaker 6: Here's the difference even in my critique of Facebook, and
- 6:54Speaker 6: then they change their name to Meta I never once
- 6:56Speaker 6: said that Zuckerberg was not a great executive, and no
- 7:00Speaker 6: one on earth has ever questioned its focus. Now, the
- 7:03Speaker 6: deployment of capital into Metaverse, was that a mistake?
- 7:07Speaker 5: Yes? Outside of that.
- 7:09Speaker 6: In terms of media, he turned Instagram into the United
- 7:13Speaker 6: States living room, there was never a question about his
- 7:18Speaker 6: focus or even leadership capabilities. I don't hear Zuckerberg's commentary
- 7:25Speaker 6: on those geopolitical issues. And for those of you who
- 7:27Speaker 6: don't know, we're gonna talk about in Vince McMahon later,
- 7:30Speaker 6: because there's a game inside of a game, especially when
- 7:32Speaker 6: you're dealing with a cerebral assassin like Hunter. But when
- 7:36Speaker 6: Elon started commenting on those affairs overseas.
- 7:39Speaker 7: And this episode is brought to you by P and
- 7:42Speaker 7: C Bank, A lot of people think podcasts about work

- 9:31Speaker 1: An illegal alien from Guatemala charged with raping a child
- 9:34Speaker 1: in Massachusetts. An MS thirteen gang member from El Salvador
- 9:39Speaker 1: accused of murdering a Texas man of Venezuelan charged with
- 9:43Speaker 1: filming and selling child pornography in Michigan. These are just
- 9:47Speaker 1: some of the heinous migrant criminals caught because of President
- 9:51Speaker 1: Donald J. Trump's leadership. I'm Christine Nohm, the United States
- 9:54Speaker 1: Secretary of Homeland Security. Under President Trump, attempted illegal border
- 9:59Speaker 1: crossings are at the lowest levels ever recorded, and over
- 10:03Speaker 1: one hundred thousand illegal aliens have been arrested. If you
- 10:06Speaker 1: were here illegally, your next you will be fine nearly
- 10:10Speaker 1: one thousand dollars a day, imprisoned and deported, you will
- 10:14Speaker 1: never return. But if you register using our CBP home
- 10:18Speaker 1: app and leave now, you could be allowed to return legally.
- 10:21Speaker 1: Do what's right. Leave now. Under President Trump, America's laws,
- 10:26Speaker 1: border and families will be protected.
- 10:29Speaker 2: Sponsored by the United States Department of Homeland Security.
- 10:31Speaker 6: Well name which countries that's when the tide turned. And
- 10:36Speaker 6: they already knew he was doing party powder in office allegedly,
- 10:40Speaker 6: but now all of a sudden it comes out.
- 10:42Speaker 5: You have to be careful who you offend. Rasha.
- 10:45Speaker 6: I remember that time you called me like hey oh,
- 10:47Speaker 6: boys said this, and as a result.
- 10:49Speaker 5: It tore down his empire.
- 10:51Speaker 6: You can't upset and talk crazy to everyone and think
- 10:54Speaker 6: that you're going to continue to have allies. We've seen
- 10:56Speaker 6: this in succession. So I think the difference is while
- 10:59Speaker 6: Eli and it's probably a smarter entrepreneur.
- 11:02Speaker 5: He has less focus.
- 11:04Speaker 6: Zuckerberg made a mistake, maybe for a quarter or two,
- 11:08Speaker 6: to deploy all that capital into the metaverse. He adjusted,
- 11:11Speaker 6: they did layoffs, the company went up. I listen, Zuckerberg
- 11:16Speaker 6: got on the earnest call and said expect all of
- 11:18Speaker 6: twenty twenty four sales to be down and first quarter
- 11:20Speaker 6: twenty five. Zuckerberg came out swinging for the adjustment in
- 11:24Speaker 6: the metaverse. That's the difference.
- 11:27Speaker 5: That's the difference.
- 11:27Speaker 6: And zuck only focuses on running that one spaceship, even
- 11:32Speaker 6: though they may have What's app underneath and Instagram and Facebook,
- 11:35Speaker 6: they have all those media properties.
- 11:38Speaker 5: He's solely focused.
- 11:39Speaker 6: On that, zucker I mean, Elon has too many companies,
- 11:43Speaker 6: too many kids, too many side pieces.
- 11:46Speaker 5: Then he wanted to go on the media run.
- 11:48Speaker 6: Then you want to selectively promote thosee coin like I
- 11:51Speaker 6: need to see linding you focus, especially in times like
- 11:54Speaker 6: now I need a CEO who's laser in.
- 11:57Speaker 7: Yeah, but I mean that's part of the transparency, right
- 12:00Speaker 7: like that honestly that Zuckerberg displayed obviously has helped. I
- 12:04Speaker 7: think when I when I listen to the call from
- 12:07Speaker 7: the earner, he's telling you twenty twenty four, it's gonna
- 12:10Speaker 7: be down for us. We're going to take a hit
- 12:12Speaker 7: for a few months because of some of the things
- 12:14Speaker 7: that you just mentioned, the outside factors, but internally, right
- 12:17Speaker 7: when we're talking about the sales of the evs, when
- 12:21Speaker 7: we're talking about the competition that's coming in from an
- 12:23Speaker 7: international standpoint inside of this space, that key function going
- 12:29Speaker 7: from luxury brand to now figuring out how do we
- 12:32Speaker 7: make this thing accessible to all people? All those things
- 12:35Speaker 7: play into it. I just wonder if that's this moment,
- 12:38Speaker 7: But we'll see. We'll see also too.
- 12:40Speaker 6: At best profit margin is eleven percent. Also, the difference
- 12:45Speaker 6: between Meta and Tesla's being in the media business, but
- 12:50Speaker 6: like a digital infrastructure, the margins were a hell of
- 12:53Speaker 6: a lot higher, so you can dig yourself out of
- 12:55Speaker 6: a hole faster like all companies that have very thing
- 12:58Speaker 6: raised the margins. Like we can talk about traditional media
- 13:01Speaker 6: later and how tech has eaten the lunch.
- 13:05Speaker 5: Let me ask you guys a question.
- 13:06Speaker 6: If they paid five billion for Raw shot back to
- 13:10Speaker 6: your point, what is the rights to the Super Bowl
- 13:12Speaker 6: on Netflix worth two?
- 13:16Speaker 5: That's a big bag.
- 13:17Speaker 6: Raw gets two point two live viewers per week for
- 13:22Speaker 6: Raw maximum almost Bobby Lashley sena cool What is the
- 13:27Speaker 6: NFL rights worth? So while traditional media razor thin margins
- 13:33Speaker 6: you don't trust most of the broadcasters, Tech has come
- 13:37Speaker 6: in and eating their lunch. That wouldn't be able to
- 13:40Speaker 6: be done if the margins were a little bit better
- 13:41Speaker 6: and their leadership was there. I'm really big on preventing
- 13:44Speaker 6: the entire house from catching on fire. When I see
- 13:46Speaker 6: a grease fire, we have a grease fire right here
- 13:49Speaker 6: at Tesla. Zuckerberg put theirs out last year. They rebounded
- 13:53Speaker 6: incredibly well. But outside of elin and they do have
- 13:56Speaker 6: good management. But who do you hear that would run
- 13:59Speaker 6: the company that will do a great job or is
- 14:02Speaker 6: provided a great vision for the product lineup or product
- 14:04Speaker 6: road map for the next three or four years. We
- 14:07Speaker 6: don't see it. We don't see it. Eli, come on
- 14:11Speaker 6: the show. I would love to have you. I have
- 14:14Speaker 6: some questions for you, and I still think it's one
- 14:17Speaker 6: of the great entrepreneurs all time.
- 14:19Speaker 5: But entrepreneurs need focus.
- 14:22Speaker 4: So would you invest in Tesla or No?
- 14:26Speaker 5: Yeah, I've been been in Tulsa.
- 14:27Speaker 4: For what I'm saying right right now, as if.
- 14:29Speaker 6: We got to one thirty five, I would definitely touch it.
- 14:31Speaker 6: I wouldn't buy it right now. I don't think it'll
- 14:33Speaker 6: fall to the eighty five price that a couple of
- 14:35Speaker 6: analysts were saying. But at one thirty five, I love it.
- 14:38Speaker 6: You're buying us out there. Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, I'm
- 14:41Speaker 6: buying confidently at one thirty five.
- 14:45Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean you think it'll get to one thirty five.
- 14:49Speaker 6: I've learned in twenty twenty four just to say anything
- 14:51Speaker 6: as possible. I'm gonna giving you all lesse clips this year.
- 14:55Speaker 6: I'm gonna give you yourself.
- 14:58Speaker 7: Is traded at one eighty eight today, And like when
- 15:01Speaker 7: we look at these things, let's I always like to
- 15:03Speaker 7: put the context around it and so for the year
- 15:07Speaker 7: starting this year. Obvious, it's only been twenty nine days
- 15:09Speaker 7: in the year, it's down twenty four percent. But if
- 15:11Speaker 7: you look at it year two market, but if you
- 15:13Speaker 7: look at it over the past year, it's up twelve percent.
- 15:17Speaker 5: Yep.
- 15:17Speaker 7: Right from January twenty ninth of twenty twenty three to
- 15:21Speaker 7: January twenty ninth of twenty twenty four, it's up to
- 15:23Speaker 7: twelve percent. Yes, it's having it. Obviously, we saw what
- 15:26Speaker 7: happened over the past this month. But if you've been
- 15:29Speaker 7: in it long term, yeah.
- 15:31Speaker 5: You're still suld be good.
- 15:32Speaker 7: Yeah, five years over five years and eight hundred percent.
- 15:35Speaker 6: Yeah, you're you're good if you're in long term. Two
- 15:38Speaker 6: things that I have to factor in February, the last
- 15:40Speaker 6: two weeks are usually the worst months for the first
- 15:44Speaker 6: quarter because all the new capital from the hedge funds
- 15:47Speaker 6: are being deployed into March. So we could see a
- 15:50Speaker 6: drag a little bit lower. And if they hadn't lower
- 15:53Speaker 6: those prices on the cars, I wouldn't have as much
- 15:56Speaker 6: concern because the margins will be there. But when cars
- 15:59Speaker 6: used to be seven thousand, now they're selling for forty
- 16:01Speaker 6: four to two or something like. There's some tasses on
- 16:04Speaker 6: Hurts right now. We ain't talked about them in a while.
- 16:07Speaker 6: For twenty nine thousand, the use market, I'm like, what
- 16:13Speaker 6: how you not keep imagine if you paid all that
- 16:15Speaker 6: money without the upgrades and then you see it on
- 16:18Speaker 6: Hurts for twenty two thousand and then the charging market
- 16:21Speaker 6: selling isn't as big as it should be.
- 16:22Speaker 5: So I think this is a thing that can be corrected.
- 16:26Speaker 5: For sure. Long term they're fine, but.
- 16:28Speaker 6: I need to see strong or at least a plan
- 16:31Speaker 6: for this is the plan to dig us out of
- 16:33Speaker 6: this hole and give some stability to the stock and
- 16:35Speaker 6: we'll be a okay, yeah, all.
- 16:38Speaker 4: Right, okay, all right. Switching gears.
- 16:43Speaker 5: So what I'm trying to do better this year?
- 16:46Speaker 7: Yeah, but they're part of just the last week, so
- 16:48Speaker 7: they just real quick like that's part of the infrastructure bill, right.
- 16:50Speaker 7: Part of it was making sure that EV stations are
- 16:54Speaker 7: put out throughout the country, more of them. Obviously you
- 16:56Speaker 7: would think that the leader in that space would benefit
- 16:59Speaker 7: from it. So well, I mean edgis in a watch.
- 17:02Speaker 7: Make sure you pay attention to everything that's happened, and
- 17:05Speaker 7: they all.
- 17:08Speaker 2: They tied back together.
- 17:09Speaker 1: Absolutely, an illegal alien from Guatemala charged with raping a
- 17:14Speaker 1: child in Massachusetts. An MS thirteen gang member from Al
- 17:17Speaker 1: Salvador accused of murdering a Texas man of Venezuelan charged
- 17:22Speaker 1: with filming and selling child pornography in Michigan. These are
- 17:26Speaker 1: just some of the heinous migrant criminals caught because of
- 17:30Speaker 1: President Donald J. Trump's leadership. I'm Christy Noman, the United
- 17:33Speaker 1: States Secretary of Homeland Security. Under President Trump, attempted illegal
- 17:38Speaker 1: border crossings are at the lowest levels ever recorded, and
- 17:42Speaker 1: over one hundred thousand illegal aliens have been arrested. If
- 17:45Speaker 1: you are here illegally, your next you will be fined
